Speaker A: All right. I think I'm gonna get a portable recorder like yours so I can record in the car because it's soundproof.
• 0:10
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 0:11
Speaker A: And there's no mosquitoes. What was that?
• 0:20
Speaker B: I love that. You don't know what it was?
• 0:24
Speaker A: I didn't hear it. 132 in bush. I got him at gunpoint. Sounds.
• 0:31
Speaker B: 132 in bush. I got him at gunpoint. All right, so what are you gonna record in the car?
• 0:41
  Speaker A: Podcast.
• 0:44
Speaker B: Oh, look at you. You're like, I want to get away from this.
• 0:50
Speaker A: No, I was. Sometimes I'll go, like, out in the backyard, but there's mosquitoes out there, and it's, like, just a hassle. Like, you saw how much stuff I had to set up in Newport. That's like, what. That's what I take out to the backyard.
• 1:07
  Speaker B: Really?
• 1:07
Speaker A: I was just thinking, like, there's got to be a better way. And yours seems so streamlined, so. Yep, yep, that's exactly. That looks exactly like the recorder I was looking at online, so.
• 1:21
Speaker B: And then I just do the road thing to auxiliary it.
• 1:23
Speaker A: Yeah, that'd be great. Yeah. So I mentioned that I.
• 1:33
Speaker B: Before. Before. Before you start, I have a question.
• 1:36
  Speaker A: All right.
• 1:37
Speaker B: What'd your wife think?
• 1:39
  Speaker A: Think of what?
• 1:42
  Speaker B: Of me.
• 1:43
Speaker A: Oh. Well, I mean, it's strange to say such a thing under these circumstances, but I think.
• 1:52
Speaker B: I think she likes it. We'll come back to that.
• 1:55
Speaker A: I think you were cool.
• 1:57
Speaker B: All right. We'll come back to that. So you have a story you could say in front of your wife?
• 2:07
Speaker A: Well, it's an embarrassing story and one I haven't told her yet, and I didn't expect her to be in the room for it, but I think we should just power through. This is not bad or anything. It's just maybe the most embarrassed I've been in years. And, like, you know, I don't know if you feel this because you're kind of a sociopath, but you ever feel like the expression, like, so embarrassed, I want to die. Have you ever, like, actually felt that?
• 2:42
Speaker B: No. I mean, even when I do stupid shit. Like, they're like, just the other day, I, like. I'm leaving, like, this networking event, and I take out a piece of gun or I take off my little name tag. That's what it was. Take off my little name tag. I rolled up and, like, I'm walking by this trash can, and I'm just like. You know, I'm strolling, so fucking. Just fucking toss it, you know? And I missed.
• 3:09
Speaker A: You know, this is so much worse Than that?
• 3:14
Speaker B: Well, I mean, like, I just roll well with the embarrassing moments because I know it's embarrassing and I know everybody can relate to me. If they ran into that poll that they'd be like, oh, I feel so stupid. So I just kind of like, like, you know, own it.
• 3:30
Speaker A: I guess maybe embarrassing is actually the wrong word. I caused harm.
• 3:37
Speaker B: All right, let me hear it.
• 3:39
Speaker A: Okay, well, I'm just gonna jump in to like when the revelation came, because if I set it up, you're gonna know what happens.
• 3:46
Speaker B: Okay. Dickens. Let's hear it.
• 3:49
Speaker A: More of a Tarantino thing. So my brother in law is grilling. He's like food prepping for the week in, in the side yard. And he's grilling something out there in the morning. And I'm up with the, the baby and he walks in the house and he looks pissed and like, you don't know this guy, but he's just the most like, soft spoken, gentle, like, nice dude. So like, it's really out of character to see him, like, out of sorts, you know.
• 4:31
Speaker B: We'll circle back around to him. Go ahead and finish your story.
• 4:34
Speaker A: Okay. So right when I see, like, how angry he looks, it dawns on me and I say, I'll just call him. I'll call him. Daniel, I say. I say, daniel, did I leave the propane on? And he goes, you did. So I finished grilling burgers and I turned off the burners and I said, I'm going to put these inside. I'm going to come back, I'm going to scrape the grill, close it up, put the COVID on. Not only did I forget to turn the propane off, I went inside and I never came back. So for. Fuck. Let's call it, let's call it 15 hours. The propane was just running at the side of the house. There's meat just on the bars. The bars are stained. This is a brand new grill. Brand new grill.
• 5:48
  Speaker B: Whose grill?
• 5:49
  Speaker A: It's his.
• 5:50
  Speaker B: Oh, it's his.
• 5:53
Speaker A: It's his. Yeah. And, and that's kind of what I meant when I said, like, it goes beyond embarrassment.
• 6:01
Speaker B: It's like, yeah, that's not really embarrassing.
• 6:03
  Speaker A: I.
• 6:03
Speaker B: That's a fucking dickhead move, bro. Like, that's not embarrassing. That's like, I know if it was me, I would probably spend the rest of my day like, these motherfuckers don't appreciate shit. Can't have nothing nice, you know what I mean? Like, I. Dude, I'd be like kicking
• 6:20
Speaker A: the dog, you know, I. I talked to my sister later about It. And she said, like, yeah, he was pretty upset at first, and then he moved on pretty quickly. But I. I offered to buy a new tank of propane, which was about all I could think of to do.
• 6:43
Speaker B: Like, go get a tank of propane.
• 6:48
  Speaker A: They're 80 bucks. Let's. Let's be.
• 6:52
Speaker B: They're 40 if you take in the. The other tank.
• 6:55
Speaker A: So that's what I was saying is I was gonna get a second tank for him just so he has one to switch off if he needs it. And then she was like, no, he only likes to exchange them. But there's still, like, a lot of propane left in the tank. So I thought, like, okay, so I sent him money for the next exchange, but, like, I feel like I should do more.
• 7:17
Speaker B: Yeah, I would have bought that of the tank.
• 7:19
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 7:20
Speaker B: Just did it, you know?
• 7:22
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 7:22
Speaker B: And, yeah, like, I'm cool with you. And I'd kind of be like, fucking guy, dude. Like, I'd probably be in my room like, dude, like this guy. Now back to what I was gonna interrupt you over and decided to hold my tongue. You said he's the nicest guy, and you kind of described him. How'd you describe him again?
• 7:45
Speaker A: It's like a soft spoken, gentle guy.
• 7:50
  Speaker B: I knew it. I knew. You're a big guy.
• 7:52
  Speaker A: He's a big teddy bear.
• 7:55
Speaker B: Yeah. Something tells me your sister, there's two ways this happens. Either your sister likes to dominate,
• 8:07
  Speaker A: or
• 8:09
Speaker B: your sister would probably be much happier with someone that dominated her. Just saying.
• 8:19
Speaker A: Anyone coming to mind?
• 8:24
Speaker B: No, but somebody's coming to town next week,
• 8:29
Speaker A: I think. I think it's the former much more. Yeah. Because while like, this guy is, like, smart and, like, able to get himself out of bed in the morning and, like, has a good job and stuff, the last one you knew kind of well, he was very. He was very much like a very. Yeah, passive, like, soft spoken guy. But, like,
• 9:03
Speaker B: it's a weird kid, bro. That dude was a weird guy. You know, we were watching a show the other day about women that have been, like, conned or some like that. And it was like a documentary, 48 hours or some. Anyhow, these women are on there. You listening, Quentin?
• 9:24
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 9:25
Speaker B: All right. You looked frozen. These women are on there. And first of all, a lot of them are like, I just don't know how I let him get this close. I'm like, gosh, like, you guys are. How do you get 10,000 out of you?
• 9:37
  Speaker A: Right?
• 9:38
Speaker B: You know, is this the guy that,
• 9:42
Speaker A: like, the guy that, like, took chicks on, like, private planes? And stuff.
• 9:50
Speaker B: There's a lot like. Like this.
• 9:51
Speaker A: He would convince them that he had a lot of money, and so they were comfortable, like, yeah.
• 9:57
Speaker B: And then he's like, taking their money. And then it was like, yeah, like, oh, man, you know, the hold of my check from, you know, this contract I have. And. And so, man, I forget where I was going with that. We were talking about what, Being dominated.
• 10:11
Speaker A: Yeah. Like, how. How does he even get 10 grand?
• 10:14
Speaker B: Oh, one of the chicks was a fire person, you know, with fire marshal.
• 10:21
  Speaker A: Fire.
• 10:21
Speaker B: Nah, dude, with the batons and the. And.
• 10:26
Speaker A: Oh, a fire spinner.
• 10:28
Speaker B: Fire spinner. And I looked at. I looked at Miami and I was like, fire spinners are the weirdest people. I was like, I only. I've only really met one, but dude was weird. Yeah.
• 10:44
Speaker A: Yeah. He's gay now.
• 10:47
Speaker B: Yeah, he was gay then. Welcome to Pseudonyms, everybody. You're with Quentin Tarantino and William Shakespeare.
• 11:00
Speaker A: Yeah. I feel like I didn't do that story justice about, like, how horrible I
• 11:07
Speaker B: felt the feeling horrible thing came across. It was the embarrassing part where I was like, that wasn't really like a public thing.
• 11:20
  Speaker A: Yeah, it's not.
• 11:21
Speaker B: Then it was just like. It was more or less like. It's almost like you feel shame because you're like, I'm a grown ass man.
• 11:30
  Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah.
• 11:31
Speaker B: And this dude just got a new toy and I already broke it.
• 11:35
Speaker A: Yeah. And. And honestly, so the. It's not even my first fuck up. With this brand new grill. The first time worked out okay, but I started a pretty significant grease fire. And, like, the chicken was still on the grill, so I had to put it out. I couldn't just let it burn itself out, so I had to pour a bunch of baking soda into it. But then I took that entire grill apart and I cleaned it and it was spotless. So like. So I told him that just for, like, full transparency. I was like, dude, I cleaned everything. It's gonna look fine next time you see it. But I do want you to know, like, I started a grease fire.
• 12:23
Speaker B: Let me ask you something, dude. Do you grill a lot? I thought you grilled.
• 12:27
Speaker A: I've been. But no, this is. I've. I've maybe six times in my life now, and five of those were in the last month.
• 12:37
Speaker B: Wow. Okay. That explains this because I was like, dude, I thought he was better at this. Just have a bad look. You got a novice over here handling a fucking Bro Yamaguchi fucking barbecue.
• 12:51
Speaker A: I told my sister. I told my sister I'm not going to use the grill anymore. And she's like, you're being ridiculous. It's. It's fine. You can use the grill. And I'm like, no, because if that was my grill and someone did that, I wouldn't trust them.
• 13:07
  Speaker B: Yeah, I'd be.
• 13:09
Speaker A: I would not feel safe with them. Because it's not just like, I fucked up your grill. Like, I left propane running for 15 hours. Like, the house could have exploded. So, like, I. It's. It's not safe for someone of my mental capacity to be using this grill.
• 13:26
Speaker B: I would agree. I would agree. Especially if you're getting distracted, like, not ever come back outside. Dude, I'd be pissed, though. I'd just be pissed.
• 13:34
Speaker A: I was in a. An unusual state of mind when I made that blunder. I wouldn't say that would happen every day, but, dude, you gotta get rid of this wife.
• 13:47
Speaker B: What's she doing to you?
• 13:50
Speaker A: It wasn't. Not that.
• 13:56
Speaker B: She's still in there. Yeah, dude, she's eating. Like, what. What is this power through thing?
• 14:04
  Speaker A: I know.
• 14:05
Speaker B: Hey, she wear the pants in your relationship? No, sorry. Get the out. Yeah, she wears the pants. You don't. You don't want to get hit on camera, Frank.
• 14:17
  Speaker A: Friends.
• 14:22
Speaker B: That's cool, dude. I get it.
• 14:27
Speaker A: You're so great at creating a situation where someone's helpless.
• 14:38
Speaker B: Can't say it, huh?
• 14:41
  Speaker A: I don't want to.
• 14:42
Speaker B: Okay. I mean, I'll settle for the. Hey, babe, come sometime with my friends. I'll settle for that.
• 14:49
Speaker A: It's even worse. That's the worst.
• 14:54
  Speaker B: What is?
• 14:55
Speaker A: No, this is my. This is my decision.
• 14:57
Speaker B: Okay, so let me ask you this. This could be a fun little game. Can I guess what the hell she's doing?
• 15:03
Speaker A: Of course. And you're gonna nail it.
• 15:05
Speaker B: Oh, she's getting changed for bed. No, she's not. In the midst of doing something so she'd get the fuck out. Mm, no, she's fucking just sitting here listening. You were never gonna say the podcast name tonight. You're gonna never be like, welcome to. Okay.
• 15:26
Speaker A: Said welcome. I said, hey, dude.
• 15:28
Speaker B: Dude, you should right now say. Say, welcome to the Knowledge Project.
• 15:45
  Speaker A: Decoy.
• 15:52
Speaker B: Is she just sitting there watching Vampire Diaries?
• 15:54
Speaker A: Welcome to the Knowledge Project. Welcome to the Knowledge Project. We're. We're on episode. I don't even know what episode number.
• 16:02
Speaker B: This is like, 53.
• 16:05
  Speaker A: I know.
• 16:13
Speaker B: So. So is she watching, like, Twilight or something? Reading? She doesn't. I don't think she reads. Does she read? No. Yeah.
• 16:25
  Speaker A: So this is.
• 16:25
Speaker B: She didn't speak like a reader.
• 16:28
Speaker A: This is the stupidest way
• 16:34
Speaker B: she knitting? No, Crocheting.
• 16:38
Speaker A: What do most people do?
• 16:42
Speaker B: Fucking sit on the bed, watch Cops.
• 16:47
Speaker A: So imagine that. That, but smaller.
• 16:53
Speaker B: Oh, dude, she's just sitting there on her fucking phone.
• 16:56
  Speaker A: Yep.
• 16:56
Speaker B: Dude, tell her get the fuck out.
• 17:01
Speaker A: I mean, I can explain that.
• 17:05
Speaker B: So maybe we read a direct or you have to get personal, start talking about some of your. Your balls and, like, a growth. And then you're like, hey, babe, can I just have a moment real quick to share with the world?
• 17:18
Speaker A: I would rather talk about that than the grill story.
• 17:22
Speaker B: Okay. So speaking of, what'd you think of that podcast?
• 17:30
Speaker A: The one you sent me? Yeah, yeah, I liked it. I don't know how much of it I retained, but I found it very interesting, right, that the guy was kind of getting at, like, the psychology behind self starting. You know, if that makes sense.
• 17:53
Speaker B: No, for sure. I mean, that's kind of what he kept focusing on was like, hey, if you want to, like, change your, like, average life to. To, like, start achieving your.
• 18:07
  Speaker A: Your.
• 18:07
Speaker B: Your full potential, like, here's the steps for it, you know?
• 18:13
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 18:15
Speaker B: I thought he had a lot of good stuff, which I would like to discuss a little bit more since the old ball and chains in the room. She say anything about my looks? No, nothing at all. I was like, man, I didn't imagine. I didn't picture him looking like that.
• 18:33
Speaker A: I will say that you have so many stories like that that I half expected something like that to happen. So it just didn't stretch.
• 18:46
Speaker B: Mark's girlfriend, she. She comes over way.
• 18:49
  Speaker A: No.
• 18:50
Speaker B: Yeah. This is so funny. She comes over and, like, they're. They're supposed to go on a triple date. It's like, him, his girlfriend, my daughter, number three, her boyfriend, and number three's best friend, and. And her boyfriend, and they all kind of know each other from. From church and stuff. And so his girlfriend comes over for the first time I meet her, I'm like, hey, how's it going? And, you know, we're just. We're sitting around waiting for their. Their third party to show up, and we start joking and laughing and.
• 19:24
Speaker A: All right, she's gone.
• 19:26
  Speaker B: Good. Okay now.
• 19:28
Speaker A: Just kidding. She was just walking out the door.
• 19:35
Speaker B: And so, like, they're like, oh, okay, it's time to go. You know, yada, yada, yada. And his girlfriend's like, you should come with us. We're going to get. We're. We're going to. Guys from. You should come with us. I'm like, I got a girlfriend, and she's not here. I'm not going to be your guys's seventh wheel, like, that's kind of lame, but thanks. Fast forward. Fourth July comes around and they come over to the pool and we just hung out for a little bit and they left. So today I'm sitting with him and he goes, yeah, so he already told me. Like, dude, she like, thinks you're way funny. Like, she got in my truck because I let him borrow my truck while I was in California. And she's like, oh, my gosh. Like, his truck is. So he keeps it so neat and, and so, like, they come over, he
• 20:25
Speaker A: keeps his truck so neat that it almost makes me wonder, like, how good he'd be at smashing my clam.
• 20:33
Speaker B: So. So they come over for fourth July and then they leave and whatever. And he tells me today. He goes, yeah, she, she, you know, she was telling me, like, he goes, we left. And she was, she was, man, Shakespeare looks so different. And he was. What do you mean? And she was. He just looked really different. And he goes like, what do you mean he looked different? She goes, well, the first time I met him, he was just on like a T shirt and shorts and like, just sitting on the couch. And she's like. And like, I saw. And he goes in, in like shorts and a button down shirt. And he's like, before you answer, I want to remind you he's the age of your father.
• 21:22
Speaker A: Are you really, I guess a young father?
• 21:26
  Speaker B: 20 or 46, bro.
• 21:29
Speaker A: 46. Okay, you're older than I thought. I thought you were 44. But like, that still puts you at like 20 when you had them.
• 21:40
  Speaker B: No. Had who?
• 21:42
Speaker A: Like, hypothetically, if you had this chick as a daughter. Oh,
• 21:50
  Speaker B: no, I'd be like 22. 24?
• 21:53
Speaker A: Yeah. You. You could be her father.
• 21:56
Speaker B: Yeah, I'd be 22 or 24. So I'm currently sitting in discomfort because I got, I got really worked up yesterday and I got an urge. I couldn't really fight. So I texted Miami and as Shakespeare does, you know, wrote some, some words in a text store, basically said, I want to come inside. And she says, where did that come from? And so I said, I'm just, I'm. I need it. She was like, oh, my gosh, I'm so worked up right now. So.
• 22:45
Speaker A: Damn it, you're so lucky.
• 22:48
Speaker B: So I got off early.
• 22:50
Speaker A: I come home, she would block my texts if I said something like that.
• 22:57
Speaker B: So I got off like at 12:30, and so I just head home and I'm just, you know, I'm just shaving brass to ass, you know what I mean, like, I'm shaving every. I'm, like, doing a gradient on my legs. I'm doing like a zero on the clippers down to, like a three. Once it hits the knees, it's all regular, but for, like, pelvic to knees, it's a. It's a. It's a 1 through 3 or 0 to 3, whatever. And then I'm like, do I gotta shave my ass, my lower back area, my butt cheeks? I'm not a hairy guy, but there's little patches of hair there. So, like, I shave it all. And, like, I don't know, probably halfway through the night, I'm like, you know, she's going for round three, and I'm like, okay. I'm. I'm. I'm sore like these. These little tiny, like, hairs because I cut my pelvic hairs to like, Like a. Like a one. So they're just. They're just there. So you kind of, you know, the road's there. You know, I mean, you're like, I can see a trail.
• 24:03
Speaker A: You beat the path a little bit.
• 24:05
Speaker B: Yeah. But they're also, like, short enough to where it hurts anything. It's like a little porcupine.
• 24:15
Speaker A: So, like, are they, like, sticking. Sticking through your underwear?
• 24:20
Speaker B: No, not so much. They're like. They're like. Like when it's. When it's. When it's in, like, relaxation mode, they're hitting the fold with it and they're digging in into, like, you know, the. The. The bark. I don't know, but, yeah, it's. And then when I sit down, like I am right now, it feels like I'm sitting, like, butt naked on sand, you know? So that little discomfort this evening, how
• 24:50
Speaker A: long does that take to grow out? Like two days?
• 24:54
Speaker B: Yeah. A couple days before I'm. I'm okay again, you know?
• 25:00
Speaker A: Yeah. God damn it.
• 25:05
  Speaker B: What's wrong?
• 25:08
Speaker A: If I tell you, it's only going to perpetuate this.
• 25:12
Speaker B: Oh, this is back.
• 25:14
Speaker A: No, no. It's only going to perpetuate this stigma of me as a forgetful idiot.
• 25:21
Speaker B: Oh, yeah. I have learned a lot about you in these last couple years. Like, this last year, for sure. Yeah.
• 25:27
Speaker A: My sister. My sister just texted me and let me know that I left a rotisserie chicken on the counter for, I want to say, like, four or five hours now.
• 25:37
Speaker B: Well, I would have just responded with. I thought maybe you or Dan would want to want some.
• 25:44
Speaker A: That's actually pretty smart.
• 25:46
Speaker B: Yeah. I left it out for you and Dan. It's really good. Did you eat Any of it?
• 25:53
Speaker A: No, I didn't even open it. I brought it home from the store,
• 25:56
Speaker B: and I heard it's really good. Rave reviews.
• 26:02
Speaker A: You're. You're great at. What's the word for that? Building. Not influence. Favor. You build favor with people very easily.
• 26:14
Speaker B: I. Dude, I. I live life like that, dude. Because, like, honestly, like, you get so much more out of it. You get further. You know, you might get the. Some. You might get that thing that they would have told the regular dude no or the. The pissy.
• 26:28
  Speaker A: You know.
• 26:28
Speaker B: Know Pissy Shakespeare. No. You know, the. The entitled Shakespeare wouldn't have got as far. And, you know, if you ever need something, a lot of people are willing to do it for you because they know you've done it for them or you're willing to do it for them.
• 26:43
Speaker A: Yeah, it reminds me of that. I think I told you about this on Legion of Skanks when Dave Smith had been given two UFC tickets from Joe Rogan, and he was, like, trying to decide who to take. And Louis J. Gomez was like, go to all of your friends tour websites, see who's out of town, offer them the tickets, knowing that they won't be able to go because they're gonna remember that you offered them the ticket. And it's like, dude, I just never would even think to do something like that.

Speaker B: I think that's where we need to invent. And you know what? I don't think we need to invent it. I kind of do it with number one. I used to be a lot better at it. It's an app called Time Tree, and it's basically a calendar. You know, it's just a calendar app, but you could get on the same calendar with all your friends and be on the same calendar. He had the luxury of looking at their tour dates. I don't have that luxury. You know?
• 27:43
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 27:43
Speaker B: Hey, which reminds me, did get. So let me read this to you. I went to a networking event, and I met a guy there, and he says, did I really get. There's no way. I sorted this guy's email already. This was a good one, too. Let's see if it's in this. He sends an email. I met him at this event. And so what I do after all these events is I follow through. I follow up. Hey, good meeting you. You know, whatever we talked about, yada, yada. So this guy sends. Sends out a response. A lot of them respond. So he responds. He says, great meeting you at the CFH last night. I wanted to follow up and introduce you Oh, I want to follow up and just shoot. Oh, that. That was me sending that to him. Hold on. He says, it was a pleasure meeting you, Shakespeare, and a pleasure E meeting your boss. He says, I would love to invite you guys to experience a show on me in one of our boxes for future entertainment outing ideas. Are you available for either Evanescence at talking stick on 714 or Darius Rucker at Financial at the Financial Theater. So my boss.
• 29:15
Speaker A: I gotta stop you. I gotta stop you. All right, You. You are gonna have more fun at Darius Rucker. But I would go with Evanescence.
• 29:28
Speaker B: So my boss was like, hey, I'm busy. That the 14th, but. But I'll let Shakespeare decide. And so I tell him the same thing. Hey, I got prior commitments for both those dates. Don't really care to go to either one. You know, I got prior commitments. So then, like, his secretary sends me this. She says, august is bringing in some of the biggest shows of the summer, and there's no better way to experience them with your favorite people. Premium seats, VIP club, VIP parking, private boxes. Sends a bunch of dates, and then sends, I don't know, about 12 shows or artists that are playing that we could pick from. My boss wants to go to Five Finger Death Punch and Cody Jinx.
• 30:28
Speaker A: He's a bro. Your boss, bro,
• 30:37
Speaker B: Possibly. I don't want to go to E. Any of them. There's Neo and Akon. There's Rod Stewart. You know what, dude? I'd go to Rod Stewart.
• 30:47
Speaker A: That. That would be a great show.
• 30:50
Speaker B: I'd. I'd go to Rod Stewart.
• 30:52
Speaker A: So see you tonight.
• 30:55
Speaker B: You know what I mean? Did he. No, he didn't sing the. Huh? Yeah, he did Forever Young.
• 31:08
Speaker A: I feel like that's like Richard Marks or someone like that.
• 31:13
Speaker B: Ever. Ever young. Come on, dude. That was Rod.
• 31:20
  Speaker A: That's Rob. I think I'm. I'm thinking of a different song.
• 31:23
Speaker B: All right, so there's Tim McGraw, Chris Stapleton, Pitbull, Little John, Billy Idol and Devo.
• 31:32
Speaker A: Billy. I. Dude, Billy Idol and Devo go to that.
• 31:37
Speaker B: What is Devo? Sing again.
• 31:39
Speaker A: Whip it. Whip it.
• 31:41
  Speaker B: Oh,
• 31:44
Speaker A: but that's like. That's, like, the only, like, novelty song they had. They were. Yeah, I know.
• 31:48
Speaker B: You're gonna have me going there. Sitting through a 80s experience. I didn't ask for Suicide Boys.
• 31:54
Speaker A: You. You wanted to see Tears for Fears.
• 31:58
Speaker B: Yeah, I. I would just be waiting for Billy Idol to come out. Well, but I feel like I know more Rod Stewart than Billy Idol.
• 32:07
  Speaker A: I don't know if that's true, Maggie.
• 32:10
  Speaker B: I should have.
• 32:17
Speaker A: You know, White Wedding, Rebel Yell, Dancing With Myself, Eyes Without a Face.
• 32:26
Speaker B: Eyes Without a Face.
• 32:30
Speaker A: That's probably my favorite. Billy.
• 32:33
Speaker B: I'm not gonna lie. After we talked about it and you talked about the documentary, I put on his. His radio station and that song came on and I was like, dude, I haven't heard this in forever. Who is this? And I look and I was like, oh, emg. It's. It's the Idol himself.
• 32:53
Speaker A: Yep. The new records. Really good, too. Just saying.
• 32:57
Speaker B: Yeah, I'm not doing that. That means he's gonna have new material.
• 33:02
Speaker A: I don't think he plays a lot of new material.
• 33:06
Speaker B: What's his new stuff? When did it come out?
• 33:09
Speaker A: Last year, I think.
• 33:11
Speaker B: Yeah, I know it.
• 33:12
  Speaker A: His.
• 33:13
Speaker B: This is my album from 26. It's about being on the road.
• 33:22
Speaker A: I. I did see Billy Idol, but we got there late, and I saw exactly one song. It was White Wedding. It was his closer. He was actually opening for Morrissey.
• 33:36
  Speaker B: Oh, wow.
• 33:37
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 33:38
Speaker B: Okay. All right. And then there's Bryson Tiller, the Suicide Boys, Treaty Oak Revival, tlc, and Salt and Peppa. And then Five Finger Death Crunch. I wouldn't, though, dude. I mean, you would be into salt and pepper.
• 33:55
Speaker A: What a man, What a man, what a man.
• 33:57
Speaker B: I really wouldn't. You know, salt and pepper here and you keep it fresh, you know?
• 34:02
Speaker A: No, when I. When I imagine what it's like to be you, Salt n Peppers just playing in your head constantly.
• 34:14
Speaker B: I know it. You know, I'm not gonna act like I don't know.
• 34:18
Speaker A: I'm not. I'm not gonna make fun of you and pretend like you don't like really good hip hop, because I know you like Sugar Free.
• 34:26
Speaker B: Oh, I love Sugar Free, dude.
• 34:27
Speaker A: Ah, Reside in Pomona.
• 34:31
Speaker B: I got some on the counter and
• 34:33
Speaker A: my baby mama too, because I'm a fool. I think my favorite. One of my favorite lyrics of all time is Pocket Baby. Couldn't. Couldn't pay me no money to respect a fall in love, get married and watch her take half my.
• 34:49
Speaker B: Oh, dude, that and what a great lyric. She broke my heart and I let her succeed. Because to a player, that's an organ that you really don't need.
• 34:58
Speaker A: Oh, wow, dude. Sugar Free rules. Yeah, I get like. I don't go to a lot of shows anymore, so it takes a lot to get me out of the house. And, like, those are. See, this is the problem. I've gone to a lot of small shows. Like, I went to the Palladium to see Drained and Kubla Khan. I went, oh, I Was talking to you about Kubla Khan because they're sponsored by Monster. We were talking about that. I went to the small room at the observatory to see head automatica a couple of months ago, but, like, to go to a big arena to see something like Billy Idol, that's a whole night. Like, that's getting there early to get dinner. Like, the parking situation, like, a mile.
• 36:05
Speaker B: Billy Idol today, dude.
• 36:09
Speaker A: I mean, I saw him in a gigantic arena. Like, it took us half an hour to walk from the car.
• 36:15
Speaker B: Yeah, but you were. He was opening for Morrissey, so the tickets were really Morrissey.
• 36:20
  Speaker A: Sure.
• 36:21
Speaker B: With Billy Idol. I mean, like. But I wasn't going there for the Billy Idol.
• 36:26
Speaker A: I would assume Billy Idol's bigger than Morrissey.
• 36:30
Speaker B: No, not if he's opening for him.
• 36:32
Speaker A: Well, that's. I mean, I thought it was weird at the time, but, like, it was. My point is, like, going to a giant place to see a show is a whole different thing. Like, you got a really into what you're doing because you're not like, parking, you know, 30ft from the door and then going into a small room, you know?
• 36:53
Speaker B: Yeah, no, I get that.
• 36:56
Speaker A: So I get, like, not having the. The gumption to want to see any of those acts.
• 37:04
Speaker B: Well, I mean. Well, no, these are. These are smaller venues, bro.
• 37:09
  Speaker A: Oh, really?
• 37:10
Speaker B: Yeah, they're. They're like casino venues. You know what casino venues are like?
• 37:16
Speaker A: Yeah, that. That's kind of like closer to what I'm talking about. Mm. Like, it's a whole property, and you've got a park far away. You gotta walk. You gotta make sure you have dinner before, because you're not getting out of there. It's gonna be a traffic jam getting out of there.
• 37:34
Speaker B: You know, I find that opposite with the. With the casino. Really? Events. Yeah. I find it, like, they're so washed up, they're coming to these smaller venues.
• 37:46
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 37:47
Speaker B: It only seats 200 people.
• 37:51
Speaker A: Oh, okay. Yeah. I'm thinking of something different because, like, I saw Tears for Fears and hauling oats at a casino.
• 38:00
  Speaker B: Really?
• 38:00
Speaker A: San Diego. And that. It was like an arena.
• 38:05
Speaker B: I saw Jeff Foxworthy at a casino, and it was like, I could have spit and hit him.
• 38:12
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 38:13
Speaker B: And I was in, like, the fifth to the last row.
• 38:17
  Speaker A: Mm.
• 38:18
Speaker B: You know, that's why I think Billy Idol. It's like, when you go to those, like. I don't want to say Golden Corral. What's the casino in old town Vegas? Like Fremont.
• 38:36
Speaker A: Yeah. I mean, not like Fremont, but something like the Flamingo.
• 38:43
Speaker B: Yeah. So it's like, almost Being on Fremont, though, and you see a hotel and it's like, next week, Vanilla Ice. And you're like, yeah, damn. I actually would have paid to see that when I was young. But I'm good, you know?
• 38:57
Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. I guess.
• 39:00
Speaker B: What? I look at it like, I had
• 39:02
Speaker A: a different thing in my head about what casino acts are like, I guess, but I.
• 39:08
Speaker B: You might be wrong. I've just never seen a casino with a big. Like, that's the outside of, like, mgm, you know?
• 39:13
Speaker A: I think that's the only casino show I've ever been to.
• 39:19
Speaker B: I've been to three, and they've all been, like, really small. Like, one was, like, in the bar of the casino. So, like, you didn't need a ticket.
• 39:31
Speaker A: I need to look this up because I'm wondering if I'm even remembering this correctly. It might have been, like, a giant property with a casino on it. And then also like a giant music venue, like, next to the casino. Maybe that's more what it was.
• 39:51
Speaker B: Well, I mean, like, they do have, like, MGM type casino.
• 39:56
Speaker A: That might have been where I went.
• 40:00
Speaker B: How do you not know
• 40:04
Speaker A: the Valley View Casino? I want to say that. Was it in San Diego? It was definitely 2017. Valley View Casino Center.
• 40:27
Speaker B: How do you know it was 2017?
• 40:30
Speaker A: I just googled Tears for Fears, hall and Oates, San Diego, and that's the one that came up. And I'm pretty sure because Bigfoot was with me, so that puts it somewhere in the 2016-17 range.
• 40:44
Speaker B: That's how I was judging it. And then also, it couldn't have been in Vegas, dude.
• 40:50
Speaker A: No, it wasn't Vegas. It was San Diego. Yeah. This is like a giant fucking complex. This is like a resort. Yeah.
• 41:00
  Speaker B: Okay.
• 41:01
Speaker A: Anyways. Okay, so I think I interrupted you about. With what. What we were actually gonna talk about tonight.
• 41:12
Speaker B: No, I was just. I was also just sharing, though. Like, how cool is that? I. I just don't know what concert to pick.
• 41:21
Speaker A: Do you feel like you have to go to one?
• 41:25
Speaker B: No, but I'm gonna. I don't do this for good looks, you know? You know, I want to. I want the benefits.
• 41:37
Speaker A: Yeah. To, like, for the business, right?
• 41:41
Speaker B: Yeah. But, like, those are the benefits. So, like, when I was a marketing coordinator, we would have to go. We would go to, like, the only reason I've ever stayed at Stand and Surf Hotel. We would go to the hotels that we're looking at to host our annual conference sales conference. And they would want our business. And a lot of the times they would offer one of us marketing Coordinators. A free night on the house. Or both of us. Hey, why don't you pick a night? Come bring your partner and stay. Stay on us. I've done that every time. Okay. Yeah, I'll pick it right now. Boom. This weekend. Then I would go there and you get the best experience. You walk in, you got the. The roses, the little gift basket. They want your business. So when people come and they're like, hey, here's some free box tickets to go see whatever concert you want to go to, count me in. I'm going to use those free tickets to create a great night with Miami.
• 42:53
Speaker A: Yeah, no, I get that. I get that. What do you think she would want to see out of those?
• 43:00
Speaker B: I don't know if she really likes Darius Rucker. I know she likes some con, country, contrast. I don't know. Some country. I think she would definitely go see Rod.
• 43:12
  Speaker A: Okay.
• 43:13
Speaker B: And possibly Billy Idol.
• 43:18
Speaker A: Wow. Just possibly thought she was cool.
• 43:23
Speaker B: I don't know. Really? I mean, like, she likes Bryan Adams a lot. That's. That's kind of who I'm dealing with.
• 43:29
Speaker A: I love Brian Adams, and I feel like Billy Idol's the closest thing to Brian Adams out of those.
• 43:38
Speaker B: Really? I think Rod Stewart would be, dude, give me that raspy voice.
• 43:43
Speaker A: Voice wise. Yes. Style of music, I think.
• 43:47
Speaker B: No, we're talking like, summer of 69 and then like, everything I do, I do it for you. No, dude, no. Billy Idol. I don't think of fucking him.
• 44:03
Speaker A: And I'm sick of having to defend Bryan Adams. But I will say, the Everything I Do song, that's the only song like that he ever did. Everything else is rock and roll. Like, with a raspy voice. Like, I just think of. Brian Adams is so much cooler than Rod Stewart. I don't know why.
• 44:23
  Speaker B: Really?
• 44:24
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 44:25
  Speaker B: Serious?
• 44:27
Speaker A: Yeah. Dude. Then Rod, that one record, the White Hot Rod. That. That white record with the picture of him in the leather jacket on it. That is.
• 44:37
Speaker B: I don't know what record you're talking about.
• 44:39
  Speaker A: It's the.
• 44:42
  Speaker B: Yeah, is right.
• 44:47
Speaker A: He is Canadian, though, so, you know.
• 44:49
  Speaker B: Is he really?
• 44:50
  Speaker A: He is.
• 44:50
Speaker B: That kind of sucks, cuz. I didn't know that. I. I do judge Canadians and Minnesotans.
• 44:55
Speaker A: Yeah, me too. Oh, I didn't think it was going to be a whole thing trying to find this record.
• 45:04
Speaker B: I don't need the record. But I mean, like. Oh, dude. I mean, just look at this. Okay. I don't know that song. You hear that, right?
• 45:30
  Speaker A: No.
• 45:34
  Speaker B: Really?
• 45:35
Speaker A: Now I hear nothing.
• 45:37
Speaker B: All right, hold on. Tell me when you can. Can you Hear that?
• 45:47
Speaker A: No. Silence. Oh, I don't. I think the headphones are reading it as background noise.
• 45:56
Speaker B: Yeah. Hold on. Now you can hear that, huh?
• 46:02
Speaker A: No, I can't, dude. It's literally. It's like you're in a silent room. Just seems like you hear that, right? The. The. The record is Reckless.
• 46:15
Speaker B: Yeah. Fantastic album for Rod Stewart.
• 46:19
Speaker A: No, man, the br.
• 46:24
  Speaker B: I don't. I don't know, man.
• 46:26
Speaker A: Brian Adams, voice of a generation,
• 46:31
Speaker B: really? She really liked his music.
• 46:33
Speaker A: Songbird of our generation. No, this is the only album that I'm, like, super familiar with, but
• 46:45
Speaker B: you might be on to something, dude. I thought I liked a lot more than. Than what I'm seeing of Rod Stewart. Wow. I only really feel like I know two of his songs. Maybe
• 47:04
Speaker A: Downtown Train and Maggie or whatever that one's called.
• 47:10
Speaker B: Yeah, Maggie May. No, I don't think I knew Maggie May.
• 47:13
Speaker A: You sang it earlier.
• 47:18
  Speaker B: Oh, yeah. Yes.
• 47:21
Speaker A: Okay. So Reckless is the one with summer of 69. Heaven.
• 47:27
Speaker B: Yeah. That's the one she listens to all the time.
• 47:31
Speaker A: Such a good album, dude.
• 47:33
Speaker B: I feel like a dork, bro.
• 47:35
Speaker A: I. I had an. An opinion of Brian Adams based on. Oh, it's that one song that they never stop playing on the radio, even though it's 50 years old. And then everything I do, I do it for. And I was like, so he sucks, right? And then I heard, like, other tracks and I was like, oh, so he just made, like, really cool music that never got popular. And then he just happened to hit, like, the two popular songs, like, to make the label happy or something. And, like, everything else he did was super cool.
• 48:12
Speaker B: So you start listening to Brian Adams
• 48:16
Speaker A: after, oh, just a couple years ago. Probably 20, 21 if I had.
• 48:21
  Speaker B: Are you serious?
• 48:22
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 48:23
Speaker B: You're a nerd, bro. Like, I don't know, dude. I don't know, like, certain genres of rock. Not even certain genres. There are certain, like, guys that I'm just like, ah, just not digging him for some reason. I don't know what nerve it strikes in me, but it's not. Not a nerve of, like, oh, yeah, I like this. I do sing along with his songs when she puts them on. Because I'm a good sport, okay? But I don't care for it.
• 48:51
Speaker A: Now, I gotta know how you feel about the Boss. Bruce Springsteen.
• 48:59
Speaker B: I. I like what he stands for, maybe, and, like, his way of life and being an artist. I know I don't have issues with his music, but I'm not putting that on. In fact, Fourth July, I went to Fourth July Vibes Radio station on Spotify. And the first song that came on was Born. I was like, nope, I'm not a fan, dude. It's. It's. It's a little too Eddie in the Cruisers for me.
• 49:36
Speaker A: Okay, I get that. I get that. Yeah. I only heard Born in the usa and I kind of liked it. I want to. You know, again, I'm saying, like, early 2010s, probably I discovered that record, and I liked it enough, but never really got into him. And then I read a book about Roy Orbison, and they made, like, a huge deal of, like, how much he influenced Bruce Springsteen. And I started thinking about it, and I was like, wait, yeah, if you listen to, like, what's that song? Dancing in the Dark, I was like, yeah, you know what? You can hear that. You can hear that being, like a more modern Roy Orbison kind of Sing it for me.
• 50:26
Speaker B: Dance it in the dark. Dancing in the Dark.
• 50:34
  Speaker A: That one.
• 50:34
Speaker B: Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 50:36
Speaker A: Or hey there, little Dylan, is your daddy home? Leave you all alone Like I can. Yeah, I can hear that being a Roy song. So then I was like, you know what? I'm gonna check this out. And, yeah, the. Like, that's probably his worst record, is Born in the usa. Like, the other stuff's way cooler.
• 51:00
Speaker B: You kind of amazed me, man. Maybe I hate this stuff because I listened to it growing up.
• 51:06
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 51:07
Speaker B: I just relate it to, like, shitty people in my. Around me, you know? Like, I don't know. But, yeah, I. Now. Okay, now you want to put on some, like, Isley Brothers or something like that. I mean, I'm down. I'm game. Put. Put me in Coach. You know, I'll listen to that. But I mean, like, it's like the Footloose stuff I can't really get behind. Like, if I can see myself running through an empty warehouse, swinging from, like, racks and bars and doing slides on my knees, I don't want to. I don't want to listen to it.
• 51:48
  Speaker A: Yes. So that's.
• 51:49
Speaker B: Now, if you like Guns and Roses, I'm down.
• 51:52
Speaker A: Yes. Well, that's what I'm. I'm saying is, like, that's kind of the impression I had of some of these guys until I. Until I started listening to it. And then you kind of realize, like, oh, a lot of these guys, you hear that one song on the radio, if you ever turn it to Jack FM, you're gonna hear Summer of 69.
• 52:13
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 52:13
Speaker A: And then you listen to other songs, and you're like, oh, that's really just the only one he did like that. That's why that song is so popular. Like, the rest of them are like, we kind of raspy rock songs, you know, and it just. It's. It's. There's cooler stuff behind all of that, you know?
• 52:32
Speaker B: I'm. I. I'm not doubting you at all. It's. It's. He should have never made those other songs.
• 52:41
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 52:42
Speaker B: Because quite frankly, I don't want to listen to you.
• 52:44
Speaker A: Let's. Let's. Let's bring it into the 21st century. I found this out recently. I'm sure you don't have a single nice thing to say about Blink 182, but I love Blink 182.
• 52:55
  Speaker B: I like Blink 182.
• 52:57
Speaker A: So the rock show and First Date, those are, like, two of the biggest singles they had off the same record in 2001. I found out a few years ago that they had basically completed the album without those songs. And then the label was like, hey, there's no, like, pop radio hits on this record. You gotta write something else. So they each wrote a pop song, and it ended up being First Date and Rock show. And it's like, oh, that's why I skipped those songs when I'm listening to this record. That's why those are the weakest songs on the record. Is that. That was. I mean, they're good songs. Whatever. I've just heard them a million times. I don't need to hear them anymore. But, like, that's why. Because, like, they did it to round out the album, to have radio singles, basically.
• 53:47
Speaker B: And, like, so those are probably the only songs I like.
• 53:51
Speaker A: Well, I don't know. I'd give. I'd give that record in particular a listen because, like, it's a pretty heavy record without those songs, you know, And
• 54:01
Speaker B: I'm not doubting that at all. It's not the. It's not the Blink 182 I'm introduced to, you know? I mean, sure. Like, I very like you. Your song has to be so good. You know? Who had a good album? I'll tell you who had a good album. Who I did this with, and I thought, good album, bro, is Whitey Ford.
• 54:21
Speaker A: I don't know that that artist Whitey
• 54:24
Speaker B: Ford Sings the Blues was a great album. Now, Whitey Ford is the lead. Lead man. I don't want to say lead singer, but lead man for House of Pain.
• 54:37
  Speaker A: Oh, okay.
• 54:38
  Speaker B: So jump around.
• 54:40
  Speaker A: Yeah.

Speaker B: You know, like, I never eat a pig as a big as a cup. That's him. Okay. Okay. You've Heard his song Whitey Ford as the artist. Whitey Ford. It's man at the liquor store begging for your change. The hair on his face, dirty dread locked in, full of man. What it's like to walk in his shoes and he's like, he asked for change with. With shame in his eyes. Get a job, you slobs. All he could reply. He's like, God forbid you have to. You ever have to walk a mile in his shoes. Then you might know what it's like to have the blues. Then you might know what it's like, what it's like that you really might know what is like. No, come on.
• 55:21
Speaker A: Maybe serious. The lyrics are rigging a bell, but I'm not recognizing the tune.
• 55:28
Speaker B: The next one's about like adoption. The other one, the third kind of story that he goes through, what it's like, is like this white kid wanted to hang with these thugs, you know, like, try and, you know, deal with drugs, but then basically got caught up and got killed anyhow. And now his wife has to raise a child on their own. And he's like, you don't know what it's like to. To kind of like have to worry about someone else. Yeah, I don't know, man. His whole album though, was just like. I remember when I was delivering pizzas, it was all I was listening to. Yeah, that's a trip, dude. I think I used to deliver fucking pizzas. Like a grown ass man delivering pizzas. I was probably like, fuck, 20, 19 or 20.
• 56:20
Speaker A: Didn't. Did any ladies. Did any lonely housewives ever come on to you
• 56:27
Speaker B: pizzas? I maybe won my whole time.
• 56:30
Speaker A: Not enough to be the fact one.
• 56:35
Speaker B: Well, crazy. I have another story. I have another story is actually really good, dude. I have a. I have. I have some other ones that are. That are good too, but I went to this lady's house to do some plumbing. And like, for me, when I work under a sink, I just kind of bend my legs, lift up my back and like slide in. And that's how I'm staying. And so she's, you know, giggling and talking to her girlfriend on the phone and all this stuff. I'm in her like, master bath and she like comes over and she's like, oh my gosh. I was just telling some of my girlfriend, like, what you were doing and she was saying like, I should get, like, I should ride you right now.
• 57:20
Speaker A: And I'm like, you're like a magnet, dude. How does it happen?
• 57:26
Speaker B: So I go like, you're welcome to like, it's not gonna bother me none. And. And so, you know, she. She was like, you know, oh, you're married. No. So we didn't do nothing. I think we kissed a couple times, but that was it. But we didn't do nothing further than that. Like, we didn't do grown up.
• 57:43
Speaker A: We did, like, kid grown up.
• 57:46
Speaker B: Oh. And then there was one job I was doing, and we were relocating them from one office to another, but we're building their new one, so we would go see, like, they were literally like, three bit, like three retail shops apart. And so I, like, I end up talking to the secretary, beautiful blonde chick. And we start talking, we start texting, and we start sharing. Podcasts we're into. Start talking about podcasts. About three days later, we're in the electrical room. Just. I did meet her, so she had to go get. She had to go pick up lunch for her office. Again, she was a secretary, and it's kind of out in the middle of nowhere. It's like a rural part of. Of. Of the Phoenix area. And so, like, you know, you have to drive a little bit to go get food. So she's like, hey, I'm gonna go get it. We meet in the parking lot. Well, she pulls in facing forward.
• 58:52
Speaker A: Oh, you've told me the story. Yeah, the. The car door is, like, open to create a little space.
• 58:58
Speaker B: I reversed in, and we created this little, like, box. Parking lot was full as hell. I was just like, lift up your dress. And we just. Those moments excite me, bro. I don't know what it is, but they excite me.
• 59:11
Speaker A: Like, it's. It's like, you don't want to get caught. You don't want to get caught, but you like the risk of getting caught. Yeah, I used to. My. The windows in my truck were super tinted, so I used to just put the sunscreen up in the windshield and
• 59:28
Speaker B: then just beat off.
• 59:33
Speaker A: Being alone is so much funnier. No, dude, like, parking lot.
• 59:40
Speaker B: Really? With who? Bigfoot?
• 59:43
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 59:44
Speaker B: Oh, wow. I could see that, though. She was a little freak.
• 59:48
Speaker A: Oh, she was nuts.
• 59:51
Speaker B: I'm not gonna lie, dude. I was kind of disappointed that after you broke up with her, I wasn't like, hey, you want to hang out, like, with me and the wife? Kind of disappointed it.
• 1:00:04
Speaker A: You know, when you're in it for two years, you just start. I mean, there was so much wrong with the relationship.
• 1:00:12
Speaker B: Crazy sounds cool until you're with it.
• 1:00:14
Speaker A: Sure. And that was, like, much more the issue. I mean, like, she was full on, like, hearing voices and stuff by the Time we broke up. So I was like, way out of that. But. But when you're in that for so long, you kind of convince yourself, like, I can get this somewhere else. I'll find another chick who wants to fuck three times a day. You know what I mean? Like, I'll find that. And then you don't.
• 1:00:40
Speaker B: Have you seen. Did I send you that. That tick tock about girls? It's. It's women ignoring red flags.
• 1:00:53
  Speaker A: No.
• 1:00:56
Speaker B: Oh, my gosh, dude. Like, I am not gonna lie. I giggled like a little kid, dude. All right, so I'm gonna put you on speaker so that you can actually hear it this time.
• 1:01:07
  Speaker A: Okay?
• 1:01:11
Speaker B: It. To me, it was. It was pretty funny. So hold on, here I go. So last night he got really aggressive with me.
• 1:01:21
Speaker A: He put his hands on me. I need that physical touch.
• 1:01:26
  Speaker B: That's what I love. Languages.
• 1:01:27
  Speaker A: Physical giving.
• 1:01:28
Speaker B: Muhammad Ali. So yesterday he told me that he cheated on me with another woman.
• 1:01:34
  Speaker A: Honesty.
• 1:01:35
Speaker B: Right? Right. He chose her yesterday.
• 1:01:37
  Speaker A: Yes.
• 1:01:38
Speaker B: He's choosing you today. The other day he tried to run me over with his car. So he's done. He's got the right. He has two of them. Oh, my.
• 1:01:48
Speaker A: So he's got mama.
• 1:01:50
Speaker B: So the guy I've been talking to.
• 1:01:51
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 1:01:52
Speaker B: He just told me that he has a wife and kids. Oh, clock kid. Wait, so he's like a family man.
• 1:02:03
Speaker A: I think I have heard that. That's hilarious.
• 1:02:06
Speaker B: That's hilarious, dude. Like, I heard it. I was laughing my ass off, dude. Like, we think we want red flags. And then like two years in, we're like, nah, I'm good, actually.
• 1:02:20
Speaker A: Yeah, that got pretty wacky. I think the worst thing was that, like, she was a dietitian and had like a past with anorexia and bulimia. And so she was working with like, young girls who were dealing with bulimia and stuff. And then, like, come to find out toward the end of the relationship, she's been puking this whole time. Like, she's still doing.
• 1:02:49
Speaker B: So she's trying to keep her shape for you.
• 1:02:53
  Speaker A: She's into fitness.
• 1:02:55
Speaker B: She's keeping the fitness.
• 1:02:58
Speaker A: I. And you know what the funniest part is? I had her at, by far, her fattest. Like, the fattest she ever was.
• 1:03:06
Speaker B: Let's talk about this for a second, dude. Let's talk about this. How do you like your women?
• 1:03:17
Speaker A: I can't say. I can't say big because that is putting an image in your head that's not accurate.
• 1:03:25
Speaker B: I would give me an actress. Are we talking that girl from U.S. hold on. Hold on. Let me. Let me get. Yeah, that girl from. What's that? Lip sync. What's that. What's that battle one where they sing? They had, like, Pitch Perfect. The chick, Fat Amy.
• 1:03:43
Speaker A: No, that's way too big. I would say somewhere between. Well, you met my wife. And I would actually say that's. That's pretty much right on the money. Like.
• 1:03:57
Speaker B: She in the room still?
• 1:03:58
  Speaker A: No, she's. She's gone.
• 1:04:00
  Speaker B: Be honest.
• 1:04:01
Speaker A: No, no. 100%, Quentin.
• 1:04:05
Speaker B: She in the room?
• 1:04:06
Speaker A: She's not in the room, Quinn. You're safe. You're safe.
• 1:04:14
Speaker B: Just put your thumb inside your palm, roll your fingers over. There you go.
• 1:04:21
Speaker A: But, like, you know, big old ass, you know, I mean, that's really what it's all about. I don't really.
• 1:04:29
Speaker B: So I was talking to El Padre about this because I'm the same as you. I like, like a nice ass. And it's hard because I know, like, there's people that know me that listen to this. They're gonna be like, well, I've met your last couple girlfriends, and they've all kind of had the shade, same body shape as far as, like, being petite or average. But I like, if you're. If you're letting me hand pick, like, what I want. And, you know, it's funny because Miami asked me once. She was like, what. What are you like, a. Like, tell me. I got a funny story. So she's like, tell me what you're into. And I was like, well, you know, and we've already been together for, like, six months at this point. I was like, you know, like, I like, she. Oh, because she used to be big. I said, I wouldn't mind if you put a little weight on. She's like, really? You would like that? I was like, I love thick thighs in an ass. Like, I love it. Like, boobs. As long as they're nice, they're not, like, sandbagging it. I'm good. You know, I'm not really a boob guy. So I was talking to El Padre about this, and I was just like, miami's not. Like, she's not the woman. I'm like, oh, man. That's. That's the. That's. That's the body for me, you know? And this is very vain, guys. I know this. And so now, fast forward. We're in Newport Beach. We're on the beach. Her son, you know, he's. He's, you know, football player for the Naval Academy. So kind of tip top shape, you know, like, he's out There every morning, working out for an hour and a half on the beach. She goes down and watches him help sometimes when she can. They have such a weird relationship, but.
• 1:06:22
Speaker A: Oh. Oh. This is our first podcast since we were all together, so there's stuff to talk about. Hold on. Resume your thought.
• 1:06:32
Speaker B: So I figured what I told you to listen to today, we'll do that some other time. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 1:06:38
  Speaker A: We're too.
• 1:06:38
Speaker B: So, yeah, so he's working out, doing his stuff and all this other stuff. And then like I said, I asked, I looked over and I'm just gonna say, like, her husband. Her ex husband's name's Duran. So I looked over there and I said, hey, does. Does Duran have an ass on him? And she goes, why? I'm just curious. Like, did he have an ass? She's like, no way. Flat. Like, where does. Where does Jackson get his ass from? And she's like, that's my ass. Fuck it is. I said, where. Where does he get that from? And she was like, babe, that's my ass. I was like, babe, I know what your ass looks like. That's not your ass. I don't know what you're telling yourself. That's not your ass. You know, but, yeah, it was funny. Funny.
• 1:07:43
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 1:07:43
Speaker B: Yes. I'm a thick thigh, nice, round ass kind of guy.
• 1:07:48
Speaker A: And if. If you've got that going on, your stomach would have to be pretty problematic for me to care. Like, there's definitely. What do you mean it.
• 1:08:01
Speaker B: Your stomach would probably.
• 1:08:03
Speaker A: What Would have to be, like, problematic.
• 1:08:07
Speaker B: Oh, for you to care. I see what you're saying. Yeah.
• 1:08:10
Speaker A: Now there's. There's a limit. I'm not gonna pretend there's not a limit, but, like, I don't know. I don't know. Is there? Is there? Because.
• 1:08:21
Speaker B: Yeah, my. So here's how I judge it.
• 1:08:23
Speaker A: In 2020, my wife got a lot bigger than she is now.
• 1:08:28
  Speaker B: Yeah, but you're.
• 1:08:28
  Speaker A: And I never.
• 1:08:29
Speaker B: Wife at this point now. You didn't care with it.
• 1:08:31
  Speaker A: I didn't care.
• 1:08:32
  Speaker B: No, you don't.
• 1:08:33
  Speaker A: Fine.
• 1:08:35
Speaker B: And. And that's awesome. You love her.
• 1:08:38
  Speaker A: No, it's not.
• 1:08:38
  Speaker B: Here's the thing.
• 1:08:39
  Speaker A: I don't. It's just that.
• 1:08:46
Speaker B: I had. I was talking to my friend and. And I was talking to a neighbor, and his wife is a shorter woman, round, huge boobs. And, you know, this. This other neighbor chick of ours was like, real sloppy, but also fat, but just sloppy. Like, baggy shirts, doesn't take care of herself. So he brought up that neighbor, and I was like, oh, you mean the fat one? And I was like, his wife's kind of big. And he was like, yeah, dude, you know, and he was talking, he's like. And he kind of switched gears to kind of like defend his wife, you know, like, oh, you know, she's, she's actually trying. And I was like, your wife is actually fine. He's like, why do you, what do you mean? I was like, your wife's fine because her boobs are bigger than her stomach. You know what I mean? Like, like dog the bounty hunter's wife, you know? I mean like, yeah, you're not something I want to, but like, I don't look at you as like crazy out of control eater that has no self discipline because, like, your boobs are huge, your stomach's gonna be big. You know, like, that's not a fact, an actual truth, but like, there's a good chance that women with huge ass boobs, a majority of them have a waistline that goes with it, you know?
• 1:10:09
Speaker A: Yeah, that's typically where it comes from, is being a little overweight.
• 1:10:14
Speaker B: So. But yeah, I, you could have a little, little pudge while we, you know, like, that's a little cute, you know, when we, we in our bathing suits and you got that little pudge. But like, I got a neighbor who comes out full bikini and she's like a little butterball, bro. Like, like the confidence this chick has, I want to wake up with like, you know what I mean? Like, I want to wake up on a Monday morning like that, I do. I want to just strut. My, how
• 1:10:54
Speaker A: you could end up dead if you had that confidence.
• 1:11:01
Speaker B: I'm just saying, like, I, I, I, I, I can't do that. Like, don't get me wrong, I took off my shirt, Newport, went in the beach and all the other stuff. But like, if I'm sitting by a pool, people I know I live with every day. No, I'm good, I'm good.
• 1:11:18
Speaker A: Yeah, my, my wife doesn't wear two pieces anymore, but she used to. So like, she feels like she's too big to do that now.
• 1:11:33
Speaker B: And I don't even really look at her. She's a pretty girl.
• 1:11:37
  Speaker A: Don't fucking do.
• 1:11:41
Speaker B: But I mean, like, you know, usually, like, if I see a woman that, that, that is, if I don't know she's single or is single, I kind of size up, start taking some measurements, like, okay, what does she look like under the clothes? Not in a sexual way, but like some of them, they're packing a gut that you, you don't see until they move a certain way in their shirt. You're like, okay, that's, you know, like, you know, that's what 50 looks like.
• 1:12:06
Speaker A: Yeah. Especially with the high waisted pants that's so popular now and it's hiding a lot.
• 1:12:12
Speaker B: But I didn't do that to your wife. I'm saying I didn't like look and try and check out.
• 1:12:16
Speaker A: Hey, is Miami in the room right now?
• 1:12:23
Speaker B: But I was curious, now that she's gone, what did she think of me?
• 1:12:28
Speaker A: She likes you. Yeah. I think she hasn't had a lot of good experiences with a lot of my friends,
• 1:12:39
  Speaker B: so.
• 1:12:39
Speaker A: Yeah, you were a breath of fresh air. I think
• 1:12:44
Speaker B: if they call me Febreze,
• 1:12:46
Speaker A: baby, if she had an issue, she didn't make it known.
• 1:12:52
Speaker B: No, she's not gonna share that issue with you.
• 1:12:54
Speaker A: She might. I mean, she, she def. The reason I brought up T was because, like, I think it's hilarious how much she hates him. Like she's met him three times maybe and just has the worst opinion of him ever.
• 1:13:16
Speaker B: Wow. I'm glad she didn't say I look like him. Yeah, there was a, there was a time period. Everybody's like, oh, are you guys brothers? She did see this head.
• 1:13:27
Speaker A: She mentioned the fact that you both have shaved heads and.
• 1:13:33
Speaker B: Yeah, but my dome is round.
• 1:13:34
Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. You're not all.
• 1:13:36
Speaker B: He's got that little like, it's a. He has like a little tiny like, hey, you guys kind of thing going on.
• 1:13:41
Speaker A: Yeah, I think that's like, that's gotta, that's not natural, right? He got up somehow, right?
• 1:13:47
Speaker B: Oh, that's what I'm telling that. I mean, I'm sure that's what I would tell people.
• 1:13:50
Speaker A: That's. That's what I always assumed. I never asked him, but that would
• 1:13:54
Speaker B: be my answer for anything that was wrong with me. If they were like, hey, dude, like, why. Why's your dick hang that way? I got beat up.
• 1:14:04
Speaker A: They mangled my. Yeah, but I even, I even mentioned that people used to say that about you. They used to say. And I, you know, other than the fact that you were both bald, there wasn't much there. But. Yeah.
• 1:14:24
Speaker B: Did you give her my number? Cuz she sent me a thank you text.
• 1:14:28
Speaker A: Did she? No, she didn't.
• 1:14:29
Speaker B: Yeah, no, she did. I thought you just gave her my number.
• 1:14:34
Speaker A: No, serious, Are you sure?
• 1:14:39
  Speaker B: Oh, I'm sure.
• 1:14:42
  Speaker A: Were there pics?
• 1:14:42
Speaker B: Can I mean her in a two piece?
• 1:14:56
Speaker A: Yeah, no, she. She had a good time, but.
• 1:14:59
  Speaker B: That's good, man.
• 1:15:00
Speaker A: Frickin. So we Went to the crab cooker, and I gotta talk about this. I don't know why this made me laugh so hard. But the. The waiter takes our orders, like, clockwise around the table. Miami orders for her and her son.
• 1:15:20
  Speaker B: Oh.
• 1:15:21
  Speaker A: And we'll jump.
• 1:15:22
  Speaker B: That's a weird relationship.
• 1:15:23
Speaker A: We'll jump into that. But, like, let's just start there. We get to number three, and. Yeah, number three and her boyfriend, and she orders for the two of them. So next up is number one. And I just. I'm just laughing my ass off that no man at this table is ordered yet. So I lean over to number one, and I was like, hey, I noticed that, like, all the women are ordering for the men, but, like, I'm alone here. Would you be able to help me out? So funny.
• 1:16:01
Speaker B: That was a good time.
• 1:16:03
Speaker A: Yeah. And then you.
• 1:16:05
  Speaker B: You.
• 1:16:06
Speaker A: That you ordered for me. Holy shit. I just realized you ordered for me.
• 1:16:11
  Speaker B: I did, Yeah.
• 1:16:12
  Speaker A: I was.
• 1:16:13
Speaker B: You're gonna do, like, a soup. I was gonna just take your bisque.
• 1:16:17
Speaker A: I. I was trying to go cheap, and I wasn't super hungry. So the cheapest thing was a cup of clam chowder, which was like nine bucks. And I was like, that's gonna be fine. Like, I'm not super hungry. If I'm hungry, I'll eat later. Like, I'm just hanging out. And so number one orders the same thing, and you make fun of her, and you say, because the options were cup or bowl. And you say to the. You say to the waiter, yeah, you don't keep that figure. Get in the bowl. And then I'm like, well, that's hilarious that I have to go next and order the exact same thing. And then. And then you, hey, what's your. No, no. You interrupted my order and you went, what's your best crab? And then he tells you, and it's $150. And you're like, what's one step down from that? And then you're like, he and I will take that. It made my wet. I know what you're talking about now with the little kitten.
• 1:17:22
Speaker B: You're like, wow, The. The. The authority that he's just going to order from me. Oh, telling you, man. Yeah. So they have a weird relationship, dude. Like, when he works out, she just takes pictures. When he sends her pictures from, like, being on base, she'll be like, oh, my gosh, look at his body. And I'm like, okay. And, like, when she sees her friends, she'll be like, oh, Jack sent me a picture. And then she'll zoom in on his body. She's like, look at his body. And I'm like, what's your obsession with his body? Like, it's so weird. I said. I told her. I said, it's just weird. They, like, look at his body. Like, like, that's just weird.
• 1:18:04
Speaker A: That's weird enough. That's weird enough. But let's just say it was you and number three with the same dynamic. Is that not. You know, is that not crazy different? Like, that is. That is way weirder. But, like, it does show you how
• 1:18:22
Speaker B: I want. You know what, dude? I think I'm going to, like, find a picture of, like, an older woman who looks young with a really nice body and already have it zoomed in and be like, babe, look at body
• 1:18:34
Speaker A: number three's body number three body.
• 1:18:41
Speaker B: Yeah, I think I'm gonna do that because that's. That's pervert. That's pervert.
• 1:18:45
  Speaker A: It's odd.
• 1:18:48
Speaker B: It's gross. So, like, yeah, dude. Like, he'll. She's like. She'll say, like, oh, Jackson came home last night and, like, jumped in bed with me, and we just, like, he just snuggled up and fell asleep. Yeah, I'm like, you guys are clothed, right? And she's like, yeah, I have, like, shirts and a short on. But he'll just come and snuggle up next to me and, like, fall asleep on me. Like, okay. It's just like when she went to visit him in school, like, you know, he was allowed to leave for the weekend or whatever, and she would send me pictures of, like. Like during the day, them taking naps and, like, him snuggled up on her chest and, like, her taking a picture. And I'm like, oh, that's just. It's just there's. There's. You know, I told her while we were in Newport, I said, you're like a helicopter mama. Jackson, what are you doing? He was getting the pantry last night. Jackson, what are you doing? And he's like, what? And she's like, what do you. What are you getting? Jackson, what are you getting? I'm like, hey, babe, who gives a. There's only food in there. He's getting food.
• 1:19:55
Speaker A: There's only food. Your prescriptions aren't in there still, are they?
• 1:20:02
Speaker B: Yeah, like, what do you. What do you want to know exactly what he's eating for? And then I did the whole. What's he say? He says, oh, yeah, they call that a skipper.
• 1:20:18
  Speaker A: So
• 1:20:21
Speaker B: that's Steven Seagal. She reminds me of a helicopter mom. And she looked at Jackson in Newport and she's like, jackson, do you think I'm a helicopter mom? I said, yeah, Jackson, do you think your mom's a helicopter mom?
• 1:20:36
  Speaker A: Yeah, Jackson.
• 1:20:39
Speaker B: He goes, I think my mom's very protective of me. And I was like, that was a politically correct answer there. And he goes, yeah, I'm media trained.
• 1:20:52
Speaker A: Media trained? Yeah, dude.
• 1:20:58
Speaker B: They just have a really weird connection. And, you know, she made the comment to last night when. When I was looking at her mini split that she had installed because her AC was acting up. She's like, that's such an ugly, like, thing on the wall, you know, like, isn't there some way we can hide that? And I was like, well, we could drywall around it or whatever and put vents on it. Like, what if we need to fix it or access it? I'm like, well, dude, like, yeah, I don't know. Whatever you put there is gonna look really weird, you know? She's like, well, you have to, like, you have to, like, come up something that you like. You're. You're. You're gonna be here. I'm like, what do you mean? She's like, you're gonna be living here, right? And I was like, oh, yeah. But like, in my mind, that's right around the corner. One, two. Part of me wants to ask if they've ever had sex.
• 1:21:50
Speaker A: The two of them.
• 1:21:52
Speaker B: Yeah, not in a, like a they're into each other way, but in a, like, oh, my gosh, Mom, I don't know what to do. I've had an erection for like three
• 1:22:04
Speaker A: days and she's like, it's a porn video.
• 1:22:11
Speaker B: Well, babe, you just gotta release it.
• 1:22:12
Speaker A: I guess you should just bust inside me then if it's not helping.
• 1:22:19
Speaker B: No, but, like, I could see maybe oral.
• 1:22:22
Speaker A: Ah, buddy, this is a bad time to bring it up, but about the pantry, I was gonna say, like, my mom does a similar thing to this day where, like, she'll be watching TV with my dad, and if I go anywhere near the kitchen, it's like, hey, there's leftover potatoes. There's that rice. There's also, like a box of pop tarts up there. She'll just start, like, rattling off everything in there. And it's like, now I was just getting my cheese. Like, we're good.
• 1:22:51
Speaker B: I don't need to hear, okay, you know why we do that? You know why we do that? And I'm gonna, I'm gonna follow. I'm gonna fall into your mom's camp as parent. Cuz we buy shit. Yeah, that, like, was bought with you in mind? Oh, this motherfucker would love those. And then you buy them, and then you're like, hey, there's oatmeal sandwich cookies in. In. In the. In the pantry. No, I'm good. There's ding dongs, there's chips, you know, I mean.
• 1:23:23
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 1:23:23
Speaker B: And they're like, nah, I'm just gonna get some cup of noodles. You're like, I bought those, like, three months ago. They're still the same ones. Like, I got you new.
• 1:23:32
Speaker A: You know, I get that. I get that. Let's make a slight.
• 1:23:37
Speaker B: You're just trying to surprise them.
• 1:23:38
Speaker A: Slight detour since we're on diet. So I started tracking my blood pressure this month for the first time since last time we were talking about it.
• 1:23:49
Speaker B: And how are you doing this with a wrist cuff? Okay.
• 1:23:54
Speaker A: Morning and night, it's not been good. It's been bad. But I went on a run last night, just a short little run. And, like, after I, like, showered, calmed down, journaled all that, I took my blood pressure again, completely normal. And this morning, completely normal.
• 1:24:18
Speaker B: Okay, I am going to dip onto that podcast for a second, because he says some things, and what you're talking about is, like, changing your, like, lifestyle or your. Your system. You're changing your system. Now you have motivation because it's a health. Health hazard.
• 1:24:36
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 1:24:38
Speaker B: Are you gonna stick with this?
• 1:24:40
  Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah.
• 1:24:41
Speaker B: And how do you plan to, like, one, implement it to hold yourself accountable?
• 1:24:48
Speaker A: Well, for now, I want to try.
• 1:24:51
Speaker B: And how long did you run? How far?
• 1:24:54
  Speaker A: Bro,
• 1:24:56
Speaker B: if you don't know mileage, how many minutes?
• 1:25:00
Speaker A: Probably 20 minutes. It was probably about a mile. But the thing is, is I went until I could not run anymore, and then I walked until I caught my breath and then ran and just did
• 1:25:12
Speaker B: that the whole way.
• 1:25:13
Speaker A: It was a. It was. I know the track I used to go on was three miles, so this was probably a mile. Mile and a half.
• 1:25:22
Speaker B: Okay. Okay. And so what are you gonna do now to implement this kind of system into your life?
• 1:25:31
Speaker A: This isn't a great answer, but my. I'm. I'm trying to start with an attainable goal, so I really just want to hold myself to doing this three or four nights a week. But the reality is, any night that I can get out there and do it, I'm probably gonna do it, because that'll just be me going above and beyond my goal. And, you know, if running one time makes my blood pressure normal for two days, then every other day is fine. But I'm gonna try to do it nightly.
• 1:26:08
Speaker B: Have you Thought about. And I think. I suggest this just because I think it's actually. It'd be a great memory that I think she'll never forget. Have you thought about putting her in the stroller and running with her?
• 1:26:24
  Speaker A: Thought about it.
• 1:26:25
Speaker B: When you do it.
• 1:26:26
Speaker A: Thought about it. I. I went late, and I like to run late at night, so.
• 1:26:33
Speaker B: So sorry, baby girl. No, no, no. Memory time. I know. I get it.
• 1:26:36
Speaker A: She's not making memories, dude.
• 1:26:39
Speaker B: If you took her at least once a week on and moved your run up to, like, dusk and just ran with her around your neighborhood once a week after a year, she's got a pretty solid memory of, like, yeah, my dad used to put me in a stroller and just, like, run.
• 1:26:59
Speaker A: I. I hadn't thought of it, and now I want to do that.
• 1:27:03
Speaker B: It might even dictate how active she is.
• 1:27:07
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 1:27:08
Speaker B: In. In a sense, like, you know, it'd be crazy to see, like, five, six, seven years from now. And if she likes running, if you've. If you've done it long enough, if she's like, hey, like, we're going to run together. I don't know. Yeah, be cool.
• 1:27:21
Speaker A: That would be cool. Yeah. Yeah, I should do that. I could probably do that tomorrow. Let's just make that the goal. Yeah, maybe.
• 1:27:31
Speaker B: Now, the second part of that question was, how are you going to hold yourself accountable?
• 1:27:37
Speaker A: I hadn't thought of that. I mean, I. I'm still taking my blood pressure twice a day, so, I mean, if I stop running, I suspect I'm gonna see a spike in blood pressure again.
• 1:27:51
Speaker B: All right, so you got. You got good motivation.
• 1:27:53
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 1:27:54
Speaker B: Let me ask you this other question. He had so many damn good things to say in that thing. Do you foresee any mistakes or. Or mistakes or failures in. In what you have? Like, can you foresee those? Like, hey, so what I do every morning with guys that come on my job site is I say, okay, what are you doing today? They'll say, oh, we're gonna put that foil up there. We're gonna drywall. We're gonna do this. I say, okay, what potential hazards do you see in accomplishing those? They'll say, well, we're gonna be on a scissor lift, so there's a potential to fall. We're gonna be, you know, cutting things, so there's potential for cuts. Okay. All right. That's really it. But okay, now with those, what. What can we do to try and prevent those? And they'll say, well, we can wear gloves and we can put on harnesses. Perfect, let's do it. Do you see somewhere in your, hey, I'm going to run three to four nights a week. There's a potential area for failure in that, and if so, what corrective measures would you put in place to try and either one bounce back or not deal with it? Because he talked about even the headspace of, like, when someone communicates that you're a failure, instead of complimenting it, we kind of tend to hold on to those more. They hurt more than. Than the compliment feels good, you know, so just curious, like, if, if that happens, because I know for me, I get started for a little bit and then I kind of start to die out.
• 1:29:31
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 1:29:31
Speaker B: What are you gonna do to prevent the die out?
• 1:29:40
Speaker A: I. I suppose the, the die out would come from laziness. But, you know, the only goal that I've really had in this is just keeping my blood pressure low. So, like, still tracking that every day should be enough motivation to be like, ah, it's been three days. We better not let this get out of hand, you know, that kind of thing. My shoes are not the greatest. They're. They're athletic shoes, but they're not running shoes. So I'll have to get better shoes to avoid, like, you know, soreness and, you know, hurting my feet and.
• 1:30:29
Speaker B: Yeah, what size shoe are you?
• 1:30:31
  Speaker A: 12.
• 1:30:32
  Speaker B: Damn. Small feet.
• 1:30:40
Speaker A: Dear little feet. They call him baby shoes.
• 1:30:46
Speaker B: Let me ask number one if she's got an extra pair of shoes somewhere around. Okay.
• 1:30:55
Speaker A: Yeah. That and injury. Honestly, I think, I think injuring myself and then having no choice but to take a week or two off, that would probably be the most likely thing that would lead to me not going back to it. So I need to get better shoes. And, and since you brought it up, run in the daytime because I took a bad step off the curb last night because it was dark and I couldn't see. And it was like, not just a curb, it was like a curb into, you know, like in neighborhoods where you, like, there's a T in the road and there's like sewage drains running. So it's like a, it's like a drain that's part of the street, that kind of thing. So I just, like, didn't realize it was also that, like, beyond the curb. So it was just like, way farther down than I thought it was going to be. And had I not, like, you know, kind of gone with it at the agility, had I had I like, tensed up or like fallen or something, then, you know, I could have really hurt myself. So, you know,
• 1:32:15
Speaker B: okay, Perfect. So, damn, dude, where was I going to go with that? Oh, anyhow, that's good, man. It's good that you have some plans. Oh, I was gonna say, if you injure yourself, switch up to upper body cardio.
• 1:32:32
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 1:32:33
Speaker B: You know, speed bag or, you know, I don't want to say shadow boxing, because you're not boxing anyone, but just, you know, running some. Some fast hand drills, you know, maybe.
• 1:32:48
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 1:32:48
Speaker B: And then just slow down, like when you would run until you're. You're ready to run again, but keeping up some form of exercise, and I think even something that's not as desirable as running, you know, like, I would rather run than, you know, do this for 20 minutes, you know, and. And. But anyhow, good for you, bro.
• 1:33:10
  Speaker A: Thanks, man.
• 1:33:11
Speaker B: Good for you. I thought you looked a little thinner.
• 1:33:14
Speaker A: Yeah, well, I cut out added sugar in June. This month I added no carbs and no alcohol, so I'm going with that. I started tracking my weight just this month, and I'm down £4, which is not a ton, but it. It was pretty steadily, like a pound a day for a minute, and then just, like, went back up a little bit. So, like, I don't know. I'm tracking everything now, and yeah, I'm seeing some progress just from dieting. So adding a little running that
• 1:33:58
Speaker B: and that audience is how sarcasm turns into a true story. Yeah, right on, right on. No, you're. You're looking great. You. You could tell the £4 came off. I was totally joking at first. Well, you're like, yeah, I've been dragging, but I just had like, what, do we have white claws or high noons or something? I didn't. Like, when I was in town, it was just me and your. Your old lady.
• 1:34:32
  Speaker A: Yeah, I didn't have any.
• 1:34:34
Speaker B: She was trying to get me drunk. Huh. Tell me the truth.
• 1:34:36
Speaker A: Yeah, she's trying to get in your pants.
• 1:34:40
Speaker B: All you had to do is ask.
• 1:34:42
Speaker A: No, I. I didn't mean that. The four pounds is visible. I mean, I've been dieting for six weeks and just started tracking my weight, and I've been losing a little just.
• 1:34:52
Speaker B: You do look a lot better than a couple months ago.
• 1:34:54
  Speaker A: Thank you.
• 1:34:55
Speaker B: A couple months ago. You're looking rough, bro. Yeah, that's why I was like, yeah, I think the dude's suicidal.
• 1:35:01
Speaker A: I didn't get on the scale, so I can't see, say for sure. It was the heaviest I've been in my life, but I was probably up around 220. 225. That's that's pretty far up there for, like, the heaviest I've been. I think 230 was my worst.
• 1:35:22
  Speaker B: Wow.
• 1:35:22
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 1:35:24
Speaker B: How tall are you?
• 1:35:25
  Speaker A: Six. One.
• 1:35:29
Speaker B: Okay, what should you be at? Because, like, I was supposed to be in between, like 165 and 175 for my height, but I look anorexic when I'm 165. 175.
• 1:35:43
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 1:35:44
Speaker B: So, like, what is your, what is your called out weight for your height?
• 1:35:49
Speaker A: Well, let's say, like, right today I'm 202, and I think if I had any muscle whatsoever, that would be a fine weight for me. But none of its muscle, it's all fat. So, like, I'd say for. If I'm not gonna build muscle, which right now I'm just running and, and dieting, so I'm not building muscle. But, like, if I'm just gonna build. If I'm not gonna build muscle, probably 180 to 190 would be perfect for me. If I'm going to build muscle. It's probably irrelevant. I could probably be 210 and it wouldn't be an issue. But my BMI, I'm overweight. My BMI is 27. And that's kind of where the BMI is, like, outdated is because, like, a super muscular dude would be overweight according to the bmi, but he's not in bad shape, you know?
• 1:36:48
Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, it makes sense. Well, you're Zenin again, huh?
• 1:36:55
Speaker A: Yeah, I love it. I am gonna be cutting that down. I'm not gonna buy another vape. And then next time I buy pouches, I'm gonna get half. Half the nicotine. So.
• 1:37:08
Speaker B: All right, what do you. What are you chewing on now? Six.
• 1:37:11
  Speaker A: Six.
• 1:37:12
Speaker B: Yeah, those, those, those make me dizzy.
• 1:37:15
Speaker A: Dude. I can do three, but this one. So this is Tucker Carlson's one. The Alps.
• 1:37:19
Speaker B: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 1:37:20
Speaker A: Those go up to 50. It's really nuts. I've only done six, but, like, yeah,
• 1:37:28
Speaker B: my neighbor can get packs up to 120. No, but they're not legal. Like, they're not something you're getting over the counter. You're going to like a little smoke shop.
• 1:37:37
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 1:37:38
Speaker B: Anyhow. No, I could do three. That's about it. Three milligram. All right, so let me see what you got left in your, your, your vape.
• 1:37:47
  Speaker A: It's a little. It's 40.
• 1:37:49
  Speaker B: About a week's worth. It's about a week's worth.
• 1:37:53
Speaker A: Yeah. I've had this one for a little over a week, so.
• 1:37:56
Speaker B: Yeah, a Week? Yeah, about a week's worth. So I got three pods left of jewels I just bought today. They'll probably last me about a week, about six, six, seven days. I'll hold you accountable. You hold me accountable.
• 1:38:19
  Speaker A: Okay. Yeah.
• 1:38:21
Speaker B: We just quit together.
• 1:38:23
Speaker A: Yeah, I. And this is where the addiction really gets you. Let me. Let me say. Because when I first started realizing, like, oh, I've got a problem with my blood pressure, like, systolic, not really an issue. The top number, 120 to 130, that's, like, right in range where you want it. Bottom number was 101 one night, which is like 21 points over what you want it to be. It's stage two hypertension, so.
• 1:38:53
  Speaker B: So it's 120 over 80.
• 1:38:55
Speaker A: That's dead. He wouldn't be alive at that.
• 1:38:59
Speaker B: What do you want the top number to be?
• 1:39:01
Speaker A: 120 over 80 is about as high. High as you want it to be. If. If your bottom number is between 80 and 90, it's stage one hypertension. If it's 90 to 100, it's like stage two. So, okay, I was like. That was a problem. So I. I was like, well, you know, first things first. Cut out the nicotine. That's gonna. That's gonna be huge. But after my good results from running, I immediately. I immediately was like, well, maybe not that. If I could just run, But now there's no point. There's no point.
• 1:39:40
Speaker B: You're vaping while you run.
• 1:39:43
Speaker A: I'm sure I could run better if
• 1:39:45
Speaker B: I stopped so that you. That nicotine. Those nicotine pouches, I felt like when I use them, you know, I started using them, people were like, oh, I use those. Have you noticed, like, it's curved, Curbed your eating habits? I'm losing weight while doing them, or I feel focused while doing them and energetic. You notice any of that? Like, is that part of the reason why they're bad for your blood, the nicotine?
• 1:40:12
Speaker A: I'm not sure why they're bad for your blood pressure. Nicotine is an appetite suppressant, so any nicotine is probably gonna make you eat less.
• 1:40:25
  Speaker B: Oh, okay.
• 1:40:26
  Speaker A: Caffeine as well.
• 1:40:27
  Speaker B: Good to know.
• 1:40:27
Speaker A: That's why if you're, like, hungry and you just have a coffee, you're kind of okay.
• 1:40:35
Speaker B: Oh, well, it's good to know.
• 1:40:38
Speaker A: Yeah. So. Yeah. So. So you want to ask Miami if. If anything's ever happened?
• 1:40:50
Speaker B: Yeah, I kind of do. I'm not going to lie, but I'm not gonna.
• 1:40:54
  Speaker A: Yeah, you can.
• 1:40:56
Speaker B: Yeah. I mean, like, however, part of Me wants the challenge of trying to sneak it in there. Yeah, I mean, like, I bet you probably have given that kid head if he asked for it when he was younger and then see how she responds, you know?
• 1:41:11
Speaker A: Well, dude, can I just say it's a lose. Lose for you, because if the answer's no, then she's never gonna.
• 1:41:18
  Speaker B: She's not a freak.
• 1:41:19
Speaker A: She's never gonna forget that you asked that. If the answer is yes, you don't want to know.
• 1:41:27
Speaker B: So if the answer is no, I'm okay if she never, like, lets me forget it, because I'll probably bring it up, because she'll be like. She does that, where she'll be like. She'll say something, like, to Jackson in front of friends, and then she'll make the comment of, like, oh, Shakespeare thinks I'm a helicopter mom. And then I'd be like, yeah. And so much so I asked her if she gave him a blow job when they were. When he was younger, you know, like, how much younger? I guess, you know, I don't know, 16, 15, 13. I don't know how developed this kid was. It's really good kid, though.
• 1:42:10
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 1:42:10
Speaker B: You know, I. If you asked me, I'd probably be like, all right.
• 1:42:15
Speaker A: He could get me. He could trick me.
• 1:42:17
Speaker B: Yeah. Get over here. This little redhead.
• 1:42:21
Speaker A: All right, I'll take care of this real quick. Yeah, no, he's a cool guy, though. I was. I had a joke fall flat because we were making fun of him on the way to Crab Cooker about him, like, agreeing with everything number one said. And so when she was. When she was leaving and she was like, yeah, I got to go get my cat his medicine, I was like, oh, Jackson, you love cats, right? And then, like, nobody laughed. And he just went, yeah, we had a cat. Like, okay, you're so sweet, but, dude, how much does he remind you of Doug Whitmore from 50 First Dates?
• 1:43:13
Speaker B: So I showed everybody that.
• 1:43:15
Speaker A: You're such a dick. That wasn't meant to be shared.
• 1:43:19
Speaker B: I didn't know. I thought it was funny. Well, I just showed Amy. I was like, look. And she goes, oh, my gosh. I totally see it.
• 1:43:27
  Speaker A: Okay.
• 1:43:28
Speaker B: And then, like. And then I think number three came out. And she watched it. No, I think it was. I think it was number three's boyfriend. And he watched it. He made a comment of he's even got a lisp. And I was like, like, in my mind, I'm like, dude, like, I was hoping nobody, like, caught that part of it.
• 1:44:00
Speaker A: That's the whole thing.
• 1:44:01
  Speaker B: But it's.
• 1:44:01
Speaker A: It's a. Even Jackson dude with a lisp. I mean, there's just. And he's kind of dumb. Like, there's no. That's the whole thing.
• 1:44:11
Speaker B: Even Jackson, like, laughed and was like, that's hilarious.
• 1:44:15
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 1:44:15
Speaker B: So, yeah, it was. It was. It was funny, dude. Like, I thought it was funny. What's his name, though, in the movie?
• 1:44:20
  Speaker A: Doug Whitmore.
• 1:44:22
Speaker B: Doug Whitmore. All right.
• 1:44:26
Speaker A: I love spam and Reese. Can I have it? All right, you want to wrap this up?
• 1:44:37
Speaker B: They don't matter to me, man. However, I would like to next time talk about that. What was that potential on unlocking. Unlocking your full potential or something like that?
• 1:44:52
Speaker A: Yeah, I'd like to listen to it again and make sure. Some notes to bring to the podcast.
• 1:44:57
Speaker B: That's what I did. So I listened to it during the day, and I was like, wow. Like, this dude's actually, like, onto something as far as, like, it was. It was good stuff. He's very much in the lane of James Clear, Atomic Habits author. And I wrote that. And then, like, two seconds later, he's like, the author of Atomic Habits, talks about changing your system. But, yeah, good, Good. Good episode. I mean, good podcast. I. I just kind of want to dive into some of the questions he has. Stuff like that really intrigues me because that's kind of like, how I operate in my day, you know? Like, I know I'm not getting the real person of anybody at work until I put them in a situation where I could see who the real them is, you know? So. Yeah. All right, man. Yeah, it's been good.
• 1:45:51
Speaker A: Yeah, this was a good one. Nope, that's all I got.
• 1:45:59
