Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you. Thank you for listening to us.
- 0:03Speaker 1: Ryan Seacrest. Seacrest.
- 0:04Speaker 2: On air, on air, on air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Great to be back with everybody. Everyone's here, okay. We're here.
- 0:15Speaker 3: Good morning.
- 0:16Speaker 1: So we, I don't know where to begin. I guess,
- 0:21Speaker 1: let me tell you what's coming up. It's the Ryan's Roses.
- 0:27Speaker 1: And I just think it's a, you know sometimes, I
- 0:30Speaker 1: start thinking to myself, all right, let's put your feet
- 0:34Speaker 1: in the shoes of the person that's cheating. If you're
- 0:39Speaker 1: that person, you would think not to do some of
- 0:44Speaker 1: these things because they are a little fishy. So if
- 0:48Speaker 1: this guy is going to do this, don't turn off
- 0:51Speaker 1: your location on a business trip. He did turn off
- 0:55Speaker 1: his location on a business trip. Which is a bad idea.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Maybe he didn't turn it off.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Maybe he just went out of service.
- 1:03Speaker 1: This is the Ryan's Roses next hour. When she asked
- 1:07Speaker 1: where he was, he just sent a photo, but something
- 1:11Speaker 1: was not right in that photo. You know when you're
- 1:14Speaker 1: dating someone and they don't come home? Or they stay
- 1:22Speaker 1: out really late and you wake up and they're still
- 1:24Speaker 1: not back. You're like, well, where were you? And they're like, oh,
- 1:26Speaker 1: my friends, we stayed out. But you don't feel quite
- 1:28Speaker 1: right about it. Like you're out somewhere that's not great.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Yeah, even intuition.
- 1:32Speaker 1: This to me is that. That's what this feels like
- 1:34Speaker 1: to me. Yeah, and have I had people stay out
- 1:37Speaker 1: and been somewhere and they said they were somewhere else
- 1:39Speaker 1: and they weren't? Yeah, I have. If that's what you
- 1:41Speaker 1: want to know, Tanya.
- 1:42Speaker 3: I was curious because this felt.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Like it struck a chord. You don't have to ask
- 1:46Speaker 1: a question. Just by not blinking, I know your question.
- 1:49Speaker 3: This one struck a chord with you.
- 1:51Speaker 1: So we've got that coming up. We're going to pay
- 1:52Speaker 1: some bills here next. Ronnie is out with Free Gas
- 1:57Speaker 1: in Monterey Park. So if you're getting ready in Monterey
- 2:00Speaker 1: Park this morning, he is going to be there with
- 2:04Speaker 1: your Free Gas. Coming up in a second, got those
- 2:06Speaker 1: sold-out Jingle Ball tickets. Today is, what, Monday the 26th.
- 2:11Speaker 1: So we're five days away from Halloween. That's right. Today's
- 2:15Speaker 1: also National Pumpkin Day. And today's the 2026 Sports Equinox.
- 2:20Speaker 1: The NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL all have games today. Wow.
- 2:25Speaker 1: And Ryan throws his 740 this morning. Now, Tanya, this
- 2:29Speaker 1: is interesting.
- 2:30Speaker 4: So.
- 2:31Speaker 1: You're making a hard, rigid rule about no more outdoor
- 2:34Speaker 1: stuff for the moment.
- 2:36Speaker 5: I've had two instances in the past two weeks. I
- 2:39Speaker 5: went to a gathering that was in a woman's backyard
- 2:44Speaker 5: and I got eaten alive. Then I went home and
- 2:48Speaker 5: I had 15 bites on my legs. Last weekend, I
- 2:51Speaker 5: had a Shabbat at my aunt's house and got home
- 2:54Speaker 5: that night eaten alive. So now I said no more
- 2:57Speaker 5: backyard gatherings. If I get invited to any sort of
- 3:00Speaker 5: backyard gathering, I am politely declining until this mosquito situation
- 3:04Speaker 5: is under control.
- 3:07Speaker 1: It's a nice weekend. You want to be outside. You
- 3:09Speaker 1: want to, you know, do things that are not indoors.
- 3:11Speaker 1: But is it just you? Like, are they sucking your
- 3:13Speaker 1: blood more than anybody else?
- 3:14Speaker 6: Yeah, I feel like they pick people because I had
- 3:16Speaker 6: people over the other day and we were all in
- 3:17Speaker 6: the backyard, just like, you know, drinking wine, enjoying ourselves,
- 3:21Speaker 6: nothing crazy.
- 3:22Speaker 2: And one of my friends got eaten alive, but none
- 3:25Speaker 2: of us got bites. I'm the friend.
- 3:27Speaker 1: No, but this mosquitoes, they do love alcohol. Like I
- 3:31Speaker 1: think that I was reading that mosquitoes are attracted to alcohol,
- 3:35Speaker 1: bananas and salty food. So if that's around, they're going
- 3:38Speaker 1: to come looking for that and they may bite you
- 3:40Speaker 1: as well.
- 3:42Speaker 3: It's just, it's out of control and it keeps me
- 3:44Speaker 3: up at night. Like I'll wake up in the middle
- 3:45Speaker 3: of the night and.
- 3:46Speaker 1: They'll start scratching. Have you noticed the difference? There's a
- 3:47Speaker 1: couple of different ones. There's different ones?
- 3:49Speaker 7: Yes. Yeah.
- 3:50Speaker 1: There's the ankle guys.
- 3:52Speaker 4: Yep.
- 3:52Speaker 1: The ankle biters. And then there's those vectors that come
- 3:55Speaker 1: out at night.
- 3:57Speaker 3: I think it's the vectors that come out of that.
- 3:59Speaker 2: So gross.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:00Speaker 2: It's just, it's like flying vampires.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Like get out.
- 4:04Speaker 3: So I'm, I'm indoors until the end of November.
- 4:06Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 4:07Speaker 1: It says late November is when the situation might get better.
- 4:09Speaker 1: What about trick or treating?
- 4:10Speaker 6: You're not going to enjoy a night out on Halloween.
- 4:13Speaker 3: That's front yards.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Wait, so it's always happening in the backyard? I don't know.
- 4:17Speaker 3: It's always when I'm in the backyard.
- 4:19Speaker 8: No, Tanya.
- 4:19Speaker 3: It's just the backyard.
- 4:20Speaker 1: That's in your head. It's anywhere.
- 4:22Speaker 3: I'm just telling you it's backyard.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Put a lawn chair in your front yard every night
- 4:25Speaker 1: and enjoy yourself.
- 4:26Speaker 5: We want to have Thanksgiving. We have Thanksgiving in our yard,
- 4:29Speaker 5: in our backyard. So it's going to be tricky this year.
- 4:30Speaker 5: I'm going to have to figure something out.
- 4:32Speaker 1: You have like a net. Jordan, come here for a second.
- 4:36Speaker 1: They said you're very tired today. Why would they tell
- 4:38Speaker 1: me that? Why are you so tired, Jordan, in the background?
- 4:40Speaker 9: Because I was up so late washing all of my
- 4:43Speaker 9: bedding last night.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Why are so many people gathering on your bed? Like
- 4:48Speaker 1: this is something that should be totally avoided. Your friends
- 4:51Speaker 1: should not come over and then hang out on your bed.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Why are they doing that?
- 4:57Speaker 9: I decided to be nice this weekend and have my
- 4:59Speaker 9: friends over to watch Sunday football. And yeah, I told
- 5:05Speaker 9: them one of my rules is to not have their
- 5:07Speaker 9: outdoor clothes on my bed. If they're going to at
- 5:09Speaker 9: least sit on the very edge, like where they're hanging off.
- 5:13Speaker 9: And they disrespected my rule. And they were all sitting
- 5:16Speaker 9: on my bed with their outdoor clothes on.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Rule number one of my friends. Don't get in my bed.
- 5:25Speaker 1: They don't. They don't come over. Ted and Kurt don't
- 5:28Speaker 1: come over and crawl up on my bed to watch
- 5:30Speaker 1: the game. I do.
- 5:32Speaker 3: I do with my friends.
- 5:33Speaker 2: I was like, you do with Ryan's bed?
- 5:34Speaker 3: Yeah, I go to Ryan's bed.
- 5:36Speaker 2: And I curl up there to watch the game.
- 5:37Speaker 1: No, your bed is sacred. Yeah, bedrooms are off limits.
- 5:40Speaker 1: And not to watch the game. And bedrooms are reserved
- 5:44Speaker 1: for people that earn a stay.
- 5:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Valid.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Bed rooms are for people who get invited to stay
- 5:53Speaker 1: in the bed, not just show up on the bed.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Why were you not in the living room?
- 5:56Speaker 9: Because my parents, they have a very also like they
- 5:59Speaker 9: do their own thing for football.
- 6:00Speaker 2: They do not want any interruptions.
- 6:03Speaker 1: So it's like clothes just in the air are not dirty.
- 6:08Speaker 1: It's not worth doing the laundry. They're not dirty unless
- 6:11Speaker 1: they've got dirt stuff on them.
- 6:12Speaker 10: No, outside air.
- 6:13Speaker 2: I have to stop you right there.
- 6:15Speaker 1: This chair.
- 6:15Speaker 2: When was the last time this chair was cleaned?
- 6:17Speaker 7: Yes.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 6:18Speaker 4: No.
- 6:18Speaker 1: These microphones never get cleaned. It's amazing we're alive.
- 6:22Speaker 8: Literally.
- 6:23Speaker 9: Dirty buns.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I just think that there are some house rules. Friends
- 6:27Speaker 1: don't do certain things, and that's one of them. They
- 6:29Speaker 1: just don't get in your bed.
- 6:30Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 6:32Speaker 1: I'm... I'm very generous with my bed and my dog. So,
- 6:36Speaker 1: for example, there are a lot of people I know
- 6:38Speaker 1: that don't let their dogs in their bed because the
- 6:39Speaker 1: paws are dirty from walking around. I don't have an
- 6:41Speaker 1: issue with that. Not a problem with that. But my friends,
- 6:44Speaker 1: they can't come spend time in my bed. I don't
- 6:48Speaker 1: want it. It's weird.
- 6:50Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Last time I ever do that.
- 6:52Speaker 1: And also, you don't want to do laundry, so kick
- 6:54Speaker 1: them out. And you're tired for us. And what good
- 6:57Speaker 1: does that do for anybody?
- 6:58Speaker 2: Or just lay a giant blanket on top of your bed.
- 7:00Speaker 1: That is so true.
- 7:01Speaker 9: I didn't even think about that.
- 7:04Speaker 1: You can buy plastic. You can buy a plastic sheet
- 7:07Speaker 1: for your bed. They got those on Amazon.
- 7:10Speaker 5: One time I had my best friend over. She brought
- 7:12Speaker 5: her dog, little dog, Phoebe. And Phoebe went on our
- 7:15Speaker 5: bed and she peed.
- 7:16Speaker 1: On our bed. Bed tarp. Bed tarp. That's the solution.
- 7:20Speaker 1: All right. We'll get you through it. We're here to
- 7:23Speaker 1: bring you out and get you some energy here.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Coming up a quote of the day on Kiss. These
- 7:28Speaker 1: are very popular costumes. You might want to avoid them
- 7:31Speaker 1: because there's the thought that everybody might be doing them.
- 7:35Speaker 1: And that is Travis and Taylor at their wedding might
- 7:39Speaker 1: be overpopulated. And how do we know what it looks like?
- 7:42Speaker 3: That's the best part.
- 7:44Speaker 2: You can do whatever you want.
- 7:45Speaker 1: I guess so. Timothee Chalamet in Dune. What's that? I
- 7:50Speaker 1: don't know, actually.
- 7:51Speaker 2: I gotta look that up.
- 7:52Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like that weird little microphone piece and they're
- 7:55Speaker 5: on the dune.
- 7:57Speaker 1: So they're saying that could be overdone this year.
- 7:59Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 8:00Speaker 1: And the shrub from Bad Bunny's Halftime Show, which got
- 8:03Speaker 1: an honorable mention from Sisany.
- 8:05Speaker 2: The bush. Yes.
- 8:08Speaker 1: The bush is not flattering. The Bad Bunny Halftime Bush
- 8:11Speaker 1: that comes in the package, adult-sized costume, is not pretty.
- 8:14Speaker 2: It's not a sexy costume.
- 8:15Speaker 1: That is not going to get you to hook up
- 8:17Speaker 1: with anybody.
- 8:17Speaker 2: You never know.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Those three are going to be the most overdone, they say. Now,
- 8:21Speaker 1: here's a quote for today on this Monday. Bad things
- 8:24Speaker 1: are going to happen. It makes us who we are.
- 8:28Speaker 1: But good things happen, too. You happened. It's a bit cheesy,
- 8:33Speaker 1: but corny.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Yeah, a little cheesy, but I like it.
- 8:35Speaker 1: A little corny even for me, but still kind of like,
- 8:38Speaker 1: it's just like that, you know what happens. Yeah. Then good.
- 8:43Speaker 1: It's Kiss FM. We're looking at Ryan's Roses after 7
- 8:46Speaker 1: o'clock this morning. Sisney has your headlines. Kiss FM headlines
- 8:50Speaker 1: with Sisney.
- 8:51Speaker 6: Well, a coastal flood advisory is in effect through Thursday
- 8:55Speaker 6: afternoon across L.A. and Orange County beaches. Early in-person voting
- 8:58Speaker 6: has started at 123 vote centers throughout L.A. County with
- 9:02Speaker 6: hundreds more locations opening next weekend. The California State University
- 9:07Speaker 6: Faculty Union is asking its members to authorize a strike
- 9:11Speaker 6: as negotiations with the California State University system remain stalled.
- 9:16Speaker 2: And Trejo's Donuts.
- 9:17Speaker 6: The Hollywood bakery owned by actor Danny Trejo, will close
- 9:21Speaker 6: its current location on Thursday.
- 9:23Speaker 2: But another location is already in the works.
- 9:26Speaker 1: The Ryan's Roses. He was away on a work trip
- 9:29Speaker 1: and he turned off his location. And then she got
- 9:34Speaker 1: a photo, and the photo looked strange. So we'll get
- 9:37Speaker 1: into some detail. That's at 740. Ronnie this morning in
- 9:41Speaker 1: Monterey Park. Good morning, Ronnie. Live in Monterey Park. Surprising
- 9:45Speaker 1: people just show up to the gas station with free gas.
- 9:49Speaker 8: Oh, good morning. Look, this guy just popped out of
- 9:52Speaker 8: his car, so I'm about to pull up on him
- 9:54Speaker 8: right now. Hi, you guys. My name is Ronnie. I
- 9:58Speaker 8: work with Kiss FM, our cars right now.
- 10:00Speaker 7: Here.
- 10:00Speaker 8: We'd love to fill up your gas tank this morning.
- 10:02Speaker 8: You guys want free gas? I have Ryan Seacrest on
- 10:04Speaker 8: the phone. He wants to speak to you. Which one
- 10:05Speaker 8: of you guys want to talk?
- 10:08Speaker 7: It's a couple.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Hey, girly. Okay, here you go.
- 10:09Speaker 4: One second.
- 10:11Speaker 7: Hello?
- 10:12Speaker 1: Hi, good morning. Sorry for the velocity of Ronnie's pacing there.
- 10:16Speaker 4: It's okay.
- 10:18Speaker 1: It is Ryan Seacrest. I know we caught you by surprise,
- 10:21Speaker 1: but you're on the radio on Kiss FM right now.
- 10:23Speaker 10: Okay, fine.
- 10:25Speaker 1: How fun. What's happening? What are you up to this morning?
- 10:29Speaker 10: So I have a really important doctor's appointment today for surgery.
- 10:33Speaker 10: So it's kind of, yeah, so it's kind of been
- 10:36Speaker 10: a rough morning, but this nice surprise. So thank you guys.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Did you already have your surgery?
- 10:41Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 10:42Speaker 10: No, I got an appointment today to figure out what
- 10:45Speaker 10: type of surgery I'm going to need. So, yeah. So,
- 10:50Speaker 10: but this was really nice. So thank you guys.
- 10:54Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Good luck with everything. I hope that everything is going
- 10:56Speaker 1: to be okay.
- 10:57Speaker 10: Yeah, that's, I think so.
- 10:59Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 10:59Speaker 10: We're high hopes or good vibes. This was good vibes
- 11:02Speaker 10: this morning.
- 11:03Speaker 1: So this should set the tone for goodness.
- 11:06Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 11:06Speaker 1: He's going to fill up your tank with free gas today.
- 11:09Speaker 11: Perfect.
- 11:10Speaker 10: Thank you so much. I appreciate that. You guys have
- 11:12Speaker 10: a good day.
- 11:13Speaker 1: You too. Good luck.
- 11:14Speaker 10: Thank you.
- 11:15Speaker 8: Bye-bye.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Bye.
- 11:17Speaker 4: Hello.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Okay, Ronnie. Thank you. Take care of her.
- 11:20Speaker 4: I will. Goodbye.
- 11:21Speaker 5: Goodbye.
- 11:23Speaker 1: I get so nervous when someone says they're having surgery.
- 11:25Speaker 1: I don't know what to say.
- 11:26Speaker 3: I know.
- 11:27Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 11:27Speaker 1: You know, it's like them. Well, right.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Cause I didn't want to like ask what kind of.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Surgery brain is like, what are you doing? Yeah. What
- 11:35Speaker 1: are they saying? What's the doctor telling you?
- 11:37Speaker 2: No, you can't get a second opinion.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Can't do that. I'll say Ronnie. It's fascinating to listen
- 11:43Speaker 1: to Ronnie surprise people because he needs to prove he's
- 11:45Speaker 1: from Kiss by saying that's our vehicle.
- 11:47Speaker 2: There's the car right there.
- 11:48Speaker 8: You see?
- 11:48Speaker 2: Ryan Seacrest is on the phone right now.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Do you want to talk to him? Can't do it
- 11:51Speaker 1: fast enough before they run.
- 11:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Ryan's Roses and Jingle Ball tickets on deck. Celine, good morning.
- 11:59Speaker 11: Good morning.
- 12:00Speaker 1: How are you?
- 12:01Speaker 10: I'm doing well.
- 12:02Speaker 11: Um, So, my girlfriend and I are trying to figure
- 12:05Speaker 11: out our couple's costumes for Halloween, and we're completely torn
- 12:09Speaker 11: between two ideas.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Okay.
- 12:11Speaker 11: So, I want to go with Shrek and Fiona, because
- 12:14Speaker 11: I think it'd be hilarious. Like, tons of laughs and everything.
- 12:17Speaker 11: But she wants to go as Mario and Princess Peach.
- 12:20Speaker 4: She thinks it's, like, cuter.
- 12:21Speaker 11: Yeah, I mean, it's cute, but she thinks it's more recognizable. And, like, honestly,
- 12:26Speaker 11: she'd rather wear a cute pink dress and a crown
- 12:29Speaker 11: than turn herself into a green ogre. Well, I mean,
- 12:31Speaker 11: I get that.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:34Speaker 11: I mean, okay.
- 12:35Speaker 4: I get it.
- 12:36Speaker 11: But like, I think Shrek and Fiona would be way
- 12:38Speaker 11: more fun, but she said she doesn't want to spend
- 12:40Speaker 11: Halloween looking ugly on purpose.
- 12:42Speaker 1: So what do we do? Call her and tell her
- 12:44Speaker 1: what you want?
- 12:46Speaker 11: Well, we decided to let you guys settle it. So
- 12:49Speaker 11: what do you guys think?
- 12:51Speaker 1: Oh, man.
- 12:53Speaker 7: Sorry.
- 12:53Speaker 1: So whatever we decide, you will go with out for
- 12:56Speaker 1: Halloween this year.
- 12:57Speaker 4: We will.
- 12:58Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 12:58Speaker 11: So this is pressures on.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Why does she have to be Shrek? Why can't you
- 13:02Speaker 1: be Shrek? Um, well, I don't know.
- 13:06Speaker 11: It's just like, that's what we, I think it would
- 13:09Speaker 11: make the most sense.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Where are you guys going?
- 13:13Speaker 4: We have a couple of.
- 13:13Speaker 11: Halloween parties to go to like friends and stuff like that.
- 13:16Speaker 11: So everyone would know us. It's kind of like, it
- 13:19Speaker 11: would be like funny.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Well, Tanya, I'm the worst. I would wear the least
- 13:25Speaker 1: intrusive costume for me. And if my friend didn't like it, sorry.
- 13:30Speaker 7: Okay.
- 13:31Speaker 2: I feel like the Mario and Mrs. and Mrs.
- 13:33Speaker 6: Peach or Princess Peach is more topical because in the
- 13:38Speaker 6: Mario movie came out this summer and it's kind of
- 13:40Speaker 6: just like top of mind pop culture.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Yeah, it's an easier costume.
- 13:44Speaker 6: You don't have to like paint your body green add
- 13:47Speaker 6: ogre horns.
- 13:49Speaker 2: So I just it's.
- 13:49Speaker 10: Like it's it's Halloween.
- 13:51Speaker 11: It's like that's the point is to like kind of
- 13:53Speaker 11: go all out on the costume.
- 13:55Speaker 9: No.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Let's make a decision, guys. They're waiting for us to
- 14:00Speaker 1: make a decision.
- 14:00Speaker 2: My vote is for Mario Brothers.
- 14:02Speaker 3: My vote is for Mario and Princess Peach, too.
- 14:05Speaker 8: There you go.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Princess Peach.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Alright, thanks, guys.
- 14:08Speaker 11: I hate that she's right, but thank you.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Thank you for coming to us with that.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Yeah, just the green paint, really.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Halloween's too stressful. Let's get the Thanksgiving coming up. It
- 14:19Speaker 1: really is. It makes a big mess in the bathroom.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Ryan's rose is too much. It's his kiss, and here
- 14:25Speaker 1: we go. It's time for Ryan's Roses. My husband was
- 14:31Speaker 1: traveling for work and his location was off. This is
- 14:34Speaker 1: Andrea in Costa Mesa. I'm going to bring her in. Andrea,
- 14:38Speaker 1: good morning and thank you for writing in to us.
- 14:42Speaker 1: So he was away. Location was off. You texted him
- 14:45Speaker 1: about it. He sent you a photo to prove he
- 14:48Speaker 1: was in his hotel room. What was wrong with the photo?
- 14:53Speaker 10: Well, The photo was taken from a few months ago.
- 15:00Speaker 4: When he was in, he wasn't in Dallas.
- 15:03Speaker 12: So I downloaded the photo and I looked at it
- 15:05Speaker 12: and it was taken from a few months ago.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Oh, like when you saved it, it tells you the date.
- 15:11Speaker 3: That is weird.
- 15:12Speaker 7: Yes.
- 15:14Speaker 1: So I know that he's lying about that. Did you
- 15:17Speaker 1: tell him you caught him in a lie?
- 15:20Speaker 10: No, I haven't.
- 15:21Speaker 4: I've been ignoring him since Saturday.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Okay. So he came back and you acted like things
- 15:25Speaker 1: were normal. Are you ignored him since he came back?
- 15:28Speaker 4: Yeah. He isn't back yet.
- 15:30Speaker 1: So he's still in Dallas. Got it. All right. I mean, look,
- 15:34Speaker 1: we already know he's doing something suspicious here. We already
- 15:39Speaker 1: know he's lying.
- 15:40Speaker 8: Yep.
- 15:41Speaker 1: So we'll try and make the call and find out
- 15:43Speaker 1: what's going on next. Okay. Okay.
- 15:45Speaker 4: Okay.
- 15:45Speaker 10: Thank you.
- 15:46Speaker 1: One second. How long have you been married?
- 15:49Speaker 4: We've been married for four years.
- 15:50Speaker 7: Okay.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Hang on. We're about to make the Ryan's Roses call here,
- 15:55Speaker 1: 102.7 Kiss FM. Andrea married four years. Her husband away
- 15:59Speaker 1: on a work trip, still gone. Turned off his location.
- 16:03Speaker 1: And then he said, I'm going to send you a
- 16:05Speaker 1: photo and prove that I'm in my hotel. Well, he
- 16:08Speaker 1: sent a photo from the past. Wasn't a current photo.
- 16:13Speaker 9: No.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Of a different hotel and hotel room with a date
- 16:17Speaker 1: that wasn't a current date. He's still, he's there now.
- 16:20Speaker 1: So she's caught him. She's not addressed it with him.
- 16:23Speaker 1: She knows he's in Dallas on this work trip, the
- 16:25Speaker 1: location off, and he's sending a false photo. Why is
- 16:29Speaker 1: he lying? What's he covering up? Who's he with and
- 16:31Speaker 1: what's he doing? That's what we're going to try and
- 16:33Speaker 1: find out, Andrea, okay? Okay, thank you. I need you
- 16:36Speaker 1: to say, Ryan, you have my permission to call and
- 16:39Speaker 1: then his name.
- 16:42Speaker 10: Ryan, you have my permission to call my husband.
- 16:46Speaker 1: We'll do that right now. Be very quiet. Let's see
- 16:47Speaker 1: if we can find out, okay?
- 16:50Speaker 6: Yes.
- 17:01Speaker 4: Hello.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Hi, is this Bobby?
- 17:04Speaker 4: Yes, this is.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Hi, my name is Melanie. I'm calling from West Coast Blooms.
- 17:08Speaker 2: How are you doing this morning?
- 17:09Speaker 4: I'm doing okay. What is this call regarding?
- 17:14Speaker 6: So we deliver here locally and surrounding areas throughout Orange County,
- 17:18Speaker 6: even down in San Diego and L.A., and.
- 17:20Speaker 2: We're offering a free promotion. So it's a dozen red
- 17:23Speaker 2: roses that you can send to anybody that you'd like.
- 17:26Speaker 7: Why?
- 17:27Speaker 9: Why?
- 17:28Speaker 6: This is something that we do about once a month
- 17:30Speaker 6: for our business. We just try to promote it. And
- 17:32Speaker 6: we hopefully, if you like our arrangements, you come back
- 17:35Speaker 6: as a customer one day, but these are free. I
- 17:37Speaker 6: don't need cash from you. I don't need credit card info.
- 17:39Speaker 6: It's not a subscription or anything like that.
- 17:42Speaker 4: So it's a dozen free roses.
- 17:43Speaker 7: Is there like chocolate or a teddy bear or something
- 17:46Speaker 7: with that too?
- 17:46Speaker 6: We can add that stuff in if you'd like, but
- 17:48Speaker 6: let's start with the name of the person you want.
- 17:50Speaker 2: To send them to.
- 17:51Speaker 4: You know, I'm actually in Dallas on business right now.
- 17:54Speaker 7: Great.
- 17:56Speaker 6: Is there anybody back here in Orange County that you
- 18:00Speaker 6: would want to send them to or in Southern California?
- 18:03Speaker 4: Uh, yeah. Um, you know, can you send it to, uh,
- 18:07Speaker 4: you can send them to, uh, my wife, Andrea.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Okay.
- 18:13Speaker 2: And what do you want to put on the card
- 18:14Speaker 2: for Andrea?
- 18:17Speaker 4: Um, just put, uh, see you soon, but not soon enough. Oh, okay.
- 18:22Speaker 2: See you soon, but not soon enough.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Bobby, that is very sweet. I want to commend you
- 18:27Speaker 1: on your thoughtfulness. My name is Ryan. Your voice is
- 18:30Speaker 1: being broadcast on the radio. And we have your wife, Andrea,
- 18:34Speaker 1: on the line. And the reason we're calling is Andrea.
- 18:38Speaker 1: She asked us to give you a call because you're
- 18:40Speaker 1: away right now on a work trip. Yeah, I am.
- 18:45Speaker 4: Do you have something to confess?
- 18:50Speaker 12: Do you have something to confess?
- 18:52Speaker 4: I don't. Well, I'm not cheating on you.
- 18:57Speaker 9: What?
- 18:58Speaker 2: Who said anything about that?
- 19:00Speaker 7: Well, I'm putting the pieces together. I don't know why
- 19:04Speaker 7: else you try to, like, confront me on the radio,
- 19:07Speaker 7: but that's not what's going on.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Well, why did you jump to that conclusion? I'm just curious.
- 19:13Speaker 7: Well, you know, I mean, I listen to the radio
- 19:17Speaker 7: when I'm out on business, and this is the kind
- 19:19Speaker 7: of stuff people try to drum up.
- 19:21Speaker 2: So is that why you sent the flowers to your wife?
- 19:23Speaker 2: Cause you knew it was us.
- 19:26Speaker 4: No, I honestly didn't, didn't know it was you guys
- 19:29Speaker 4: until she jumped on. But, um, uh, the guys and
- 19:34Speaker 4: I went to a strip club. Interesting. I don't believe you. Well,
- 19:40Speaker 4: I mean, we did and I knew you wouldn't approve it.
- 19:43Speaker 4: So that's why I turned off my location.
- 19:45Speaker 1: But that's sketchy anyway.
- 19:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 19:50Speaker 2: And you lied about it.
- 19:51Speaker 12: You ignored my FaceTimes.
- 19:52Speaker 4: You lied about that, too.
- 19:53Speaker 12: And you sent me some bogus photo.
- 19:55Speaker 7: I didn't want to be the only person that didn't go.
- 19:59Speaker 7: All the clients were there.
- 20:00Speaker 4: It would have been a bad look.
- 20:02Speaker 12: Why did you take a photo of an empty hotel
- 20:05Speaker 12: room from months ago?
- 20:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:08Speaker 4: What do you mean?
- 20:13Speaker 12: You knew on September 16th that on October 24th, you
- 20:17Speaker 12: would be going to a strip club in Dallas. So
- 20:19Speaker 12: you took a photo of an empty hotel room, right?
- 20:22Speaker 12: Or did you just take that in case you ever
- 20:24Speaker 12: needed to lie to me?
- 20:29Speaker 8: Okay. I don't know if you're.
- 20:30Speaker 10: Cheating, but I know this.
- 20:31Speaker 12: I am married to a liar and that is a
- 20:35Speaker 12: major problem.
- 20:36Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 20:36Speaker 1: I mean, Bobby, you're a coverup operation.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Thank you for your help.
- 20:40Speaker 10: I have what I need.
- 20:41Speaker 9: Well, okay.
- 20:42Speaker 12: All right.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Bobby, are you cheating?
- 20:45Speaker 7: No, I literally, you know, if I have to walk
- 20:49Speaker 7: on eggshells about going to a strip club, yeah, because
- 20:52Speaker 7: this is how she's going.
- 20:53Speaker 1: To react, man. Why go to the extreme of sending
- 20:56Speaker 1: a false photo?
- 20:57Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 20:58Speaker 1: That's not, that's weird, man. That makes this question more.
- 21:02Speaker 4: Brother, the only way to be crazy sometimes is a
- 21:04Speaker 4: little more crazy.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Oh, bye.
- 21:09Speaker 10: Whoa.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Andrea, do you need anything else from us?
- 21:16Speaker 10: No, thank you for your help. I think I've got
- 21:19Speaker 10: everything I need to know.
- 21:21Speaker 1: Okay, thank you. I don't believe in maltrustment. Did you
- 21:23Speaker 1: just say, brother, the only way to beat crazy is
- 21:26Speaker 1: to be a little more crazy?
- 21:27Speaker 7: Yes.
- 21:27Speaker 8: Oh, my gosh.
- 21:28Speaker 1: This relationship is done.
- 21:29Speaker 8: It's over.
- 21:29Speaker 1: It's doomed. He went as far as to fake a
- 21:34Speaker 1: photo because he knew he was going to go out
- 21:36Speaker 1: and do something his wife wouldn't approve of. How far
- 21:38Speaker 1: did it go? Is that even what he did?
- 21:41Speaker 2: On air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Kiss FM, Olivia Rodrigo going to be at our Jingle Ball. Okay,
- 21:47Speaker 1: so hysterical. When we go to Ronnie, he's so fast
- 21:49Speaker 1: to get people on the phone before they run away
- 21:51Speaker 1: from him. He's like, it's Ronnie. Ryan Seacrest on the phone.
- 21:54Speaker 1: It's our vehicle. Kiss FM. He doesn't want anybody to run.
- 21:57Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Because he's been turned down before.
- 22:00Speaker 7: He has.
- 22:00Speaker 1: And now he's got real speed to getting people their
- 22:02Speaker 1: free gas. So let's bounce back. Monterey Park this morning.
- 22:05Speaker 1: We've been there all morning. He's at another gas station. Ronnie,
- 22:09Speaker 1: let's go with some more free gas.
- 22:12Speaker 8: Good morning, you guys.
- 22:13Speaker 4: This gas station is booming.
- 22:15Speaker 8: I guess it's like a combo gas station where they
- 22:18Speaker 8: do smog checks and oil changes and stuff. So now
- 22:20Speaker 8: the workers want free gas too. But I found me
- 22:22Speaker 8: a girl right here. Hi, what's your name?
- 22:25Speaker 1: Destiny.
- 22:26Speaker 8: I have Ryan Seacrest on the phone. My name is Ronnie.
- 22:28Speaker 8: Sorry to introduce myself, but I'm with Kiss FM and
- 22:31Speaker 8: we'd love to fill up your gas tank this morning.
- 22:33Speaker 8: And he wants to speak to you. Okay, here we go. Hello.
- 22:36Speaker 1: What did he say?
- 22:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I saw it was fast.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Destiny. Hi, Ryan Seacrest on Kiss FM.
- 22:44Speaker 7: Hello.
- 22:45Speaker 1: What are you up to this morning, Destiny?
- 22:47Speaker 11: Just trying to pump gas this morning.
- 22:50Speaker 10: I got a wonderful surprise.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Yeah, that's it. Where are you headed?
- 22:55Speaker 11: To work later on, but just came back from running errands.
- 22:59Speaker 1: It's a busy morning.
- 23:00Speaker 4: Yes.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Okay, so what Ronnie was telling you is that we
- 23:05Speaker 1: are going to fill your tank up with free gas
- 23:06Speaker 1: this morning.
- 23:08Speaker 10: That sounds great.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Done. What are you driving?
- 23:13Speaker 10: A Toyota Havender.
- 23:14Speaker 6: All right.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Well, good luck. What are you doing for work?
- 23:17Speaker 11: I work at a pharmacy.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Well, thank you for having us on. Enjoy your free gas.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Good luck at work today.
- 23:24Speaker 12: Thank you so much.
- 23:26Speaker 4: Okay.
- 23:26Speaker 1: You know what I love about pharmacists? You get to
- 23:28Speaker 1: stand higher than everybody else. Does it feel good?
- 23:31Speaker 10: It does feel good.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Why are you on a stage? Why are pharmacists up
- 23:35Speaker 1: on a stage?
- 23:37Speaker 10: I have no idea.
- 23:38Speaker 1: We just are. I just never understood it. No one
- 23:42Speaker 1: else is up on a platform.
- 23:44Speaker 10: Well, we help a lot of people, so maybe that's why.
- 23:47Speaker 1: I'm glad you do, but bartenders don't get a platform.
- 23:50Speaker 1: They help people.
- 23:51Speaker 4: They do.
- 23:52Speaker 11: They do help people in other ways, in different ways.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Right. Well, if you get an answer, do ask today
- 23:58Speaker 1: and let us know. And thank you very much for
- 24:00Speaker 1: having us on.
- 24:01Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 24:01Speaker 8: You made my day.
- 24:02Speaker 10: So thank you very much.
- 24:03Speaker 1: You got it. Take care.
- 24:06Speaker 8: You too.
- 24:06Speaker 4: Bye-bye.
- 24:07Speaker 7: Bye.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Have you thought about that? Well, I'm always looking up
- 24:09Speaker 1: at them. It's true.
- 24:11Speaker 3: Wait, I don't think mine are up.
- 24:13Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Some are, some are not.
- 24:15Speaker 6: Like the CVS on Laurel Canyon is not. I feel
- 24:17Speaker 6: like they're level. Why does it take so long for
- 24:21Speaker 6: them to count the 40 pills?
- 24:22Speaker 1: I don't know. You want them.
- 24:25Speaker 5: To count and you want them to recount.
- 24:28Speaker 6: But they received the prescription an hour ago and they're like,
- 24:30Speaker 6: it's going to be another 30 minutes.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Because you're not.
- 24:32Speaker 3: The only person getting a prescription.
- 24:34Speaker 2: I just feel like it's right there.
- 24:35Speaker 1: That's what I think. Can I help? But they do
- 24:39Speaker 1: a good job.
- 24:41Speaker 2: Yeah, we love them.
- 24:42Speaker 1: 102.7 KISS FM. Looking back at the weekend here. And
- 24:45Speaker 1: we got to talk about the King Tide. All the
- 24:48Speaker 1: guys at the gym. Giving me details about the King Tide.
- 24:52Speaker 1: It was the topic of conversation at the LAT machine
- 24:55Speaker 1: over the weekend.
- 24:56Speaker 2: It's serious.
- 24:57Speaker 1: I spent a little time with the LAT apparatus and
- 24:59Speaker 1: the guys talking King Tide. It is serious, but it's
- 25:01Speaker 1: not like we've seen these before. We have seen the
- 25:03Speaker 1: King Tides before. We'll talk about it later. Now, Disneyland
- 25:07Speaker 1: got flooded. Did you see that Friday night?
- 25:09Speaker 6: Right.
- 25:10Speaker 3: Crazy.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Videos all over social media. And I mentioned that Jay-Z
- 25:15Speaker 1: was at SoFi. The rumors that Jay-Z will be doing
- 25:19Speaker 1: the halftime show, not just producing it, but also performing
- 25:21Speaker 1: and bringing in an extravaganza.
- 25:24Speaker 6: Yeah, Beyonce, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Usher would, quote-unquote, maybe come
- 25:30Speaker 6: out with him.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Quote-unquote, this is all speculation at this point. He did,
- 25:35Speaker 1: in fact, bring out Dre at SoFi over the weekend.
- 25:39Speaker 2: And Snoop.
- 25:39Speaker 4: Ah.
- 25:40Speaker 1: So we saw it on social media. That's how I
- 25:48Speaker 1: see things. Coachella, I was there.
- 25:50Speaker 6: Okay, so I was like watching one of the videos.
- 25:52Speaker 1: On my screen, yeah.
- 25:53Speaker 6: And when they were doing next episode and then the
- 25:56Speaker 6: part where they go, Long Beach, Englewood.
- 25:58Speaker 2: And it was just like everyone at Englewood was going
- 26:00Speaker 2: crazy because obviously they're there.
- 26:02Speaker 1: Ruby, you were there. I was there. Okay, well brag
- 26:06Speaker 1: about it, why don't you?
- 26:07Speaker 12: It was a straight unction.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Nothing but like uncles there.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Like all, I feel like, in the best way, in
- 26:14Speaker 1: the best way.
- 26:14Speaker 2: In the best way.
- 26:16Speaker 1: And were you Inglewooding?
- 26:18Speaker 2: Yes, it was like Long Beach, Inglewood, and everyone just
- 26:21Speaker 2: lost it.
- 26:22Speaker 1: I bet.
- 26:23Speaker 3: Lost it.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Who got the lucky ticket to go with you, Ruby? David.
- 26:27Speaker 8: He actually got me tickets because I've been a fan
- 26:29Speaker 8: of Jay-Z. I have an older brother who loved hip-hop,
- 26:32Speaker 8: so he put me onto hip-hop.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Um, but it was so much fun.
- 26:36Speaker 12: I feel like there's so many nostalgic records that we
- 26:38Speaker 12: kind of forgot about.
- 26:39Speaker 1: And so it was just fun.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Like his set list was incredible.
- 26:45Speaker 1: So it seems to me that these rumors about the
- 26:48Speaker 1: halftime show at the Superbowl are going to pan out.
- 26:52Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Kind of that he would be perfect.
- 26:54Speaker 7: Right.
- 26:55Speaker 1: Cause his company produces the show anyway.
- 26:57Speaker 6: And by now they usually announce the halftime show performer.
- 27:00Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 27:01Speaker 2: Like we know this is late. Like what's the deal?
- 27:04Speaker 1: Well, let's get into what we do know, and that
- 27:06Speaker 1: is we have your access to sold-out Jingle Ball. And
- 27:10Speaker 1: those tickets are what I'm going to do next. It's Damon, Paula,
- 27:13Speaker 1: and Jenny on LA's number one hit music station. Five
- 27:17Speaker 1: days until Halloween, today's National Pumpkin Day. Partly sunny. Highs
- 27:23Speaker 1: around 80. We are paying your bills. Of course, $ 1, 000
- 27:26Speaker 1: every hour. Ronnie's had their free gas this morning in
- 27:30Speaker 1: Monterey Park. Ryan's roses after nine o'clock and a trending report.
- 27:35Speaker 1: The question here, Tanya, would you ever date someone who
- 27:40Speaker 1: used to be married to one of your friends? I
- 27:42Speaker 1: need to think on that.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Yeah. She's the one that brought it up to me.
- 27:47Speaker 1: I feel like I didn't bring this up.
- 27:49Speaker 2: No, you say no.
- 27:50Speaker 3: Well, no.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:52Speaker 5: You need a little context. So Tom Brady is reportedly
- 27:55Speaker 5: off the market and, And the woman he's dating is
- 27:58Speaker 5: Victoria's Secret supermodel Candace Swanepoel. So a source told Us
- 28:02Speaker 5: Weekly they've been dating for a while. Another insider says
- 28:05Speaker 5: it's been months and that Candace has been very secretive
- 28:08Speaker 5: about who she's told. Tom is 49. Candace is 38.
- 28:12Speaker 5: She has two sons with her ex-fiance. Tom was married
- 28:15Speaker 5: to Giselle. They also have two kids. He has another
- 28:18Speaker 5: kid from a former relationship. That's kind of their family life.
- 28:22Speaker 5: So Giselle and Candace, they're obviously both Victoria's Secret angels.
- 28:26Speaker 5: A few years ago, Giselle posted herself in a bikini
- 28:28Speaker 5: from Candace's swimwear line and thanked Candace for it.
- 28:31Speaker 3: So they obviously are friendly.
- 28:32Speaker 2: They're like co-workers.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Still messed up, dude. I don't know.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Yeah, they're co-workers.
- 28:37Speaker 5: But I do think it's a little bit more than co-workers.
- 28:39Speaker 5: But the only weird thing about this story is that
- 28:42Speaker 5: this has not been confirmed by either party.
- 28:43Speaker 3: There's been no photos. There's no photo evidence whatsoever.
- 28:49Speaker 5: But that's the rumor that's happening right now.
- 28:53Speaker 1: You're asking me to consider something we don't even know
- 28:56Speaker 1: is happening about being with a friend or not being
- 28:59Speaker 1: with a friend.
- 29:00Speaker 3: This rumor is everywhere.
- 29:01Speaker 2: This is like a big, big rumor.
- 29:02Speaker 3: This is literally everywhere. But they are friendly.
- 29:05Speaker 9: Okay.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Now let's assume that they are together. Wouldn't you think?
- 29:10Speaker 1: Wouldn't you think? that somewhere behind the scenes, a blessing
- 29:13Speaker 1: was given. Now, whether that blessing is authentic or not
- 29:16Speaker 1: is a different story.
- 29:17Speaker 4: That's true.
- 29:17Speaker 1: But I would think at this stage of life for them,
- 29:22Speaker 1: that a blessing would happen at some point, especially if
- 29:26Speaker 1: the two women knew each other and worked together. I
- 29:30Speaker 1: feel like that would happen. Who has Candace Swannapool with before? Swannapool. Yes.
- 29:37Speaker 5: Her ex-fiance, let me get his name. but you wouldn't know,
- 29:41Speaker 5: he's not super famous.
- 29:43Speaker 2: And how long has she been?
- 29:44Speaker 5: They were divorced in 2018.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Her ex-fiance, you said.
- 29:49Speaker 3: Yeah, they broke up in 2018.
- 29:50Speaker 1: So back to the question. What's the question we want
- 29:52Speaker 1: to answer here? The question simply.
- 29:54Speaker 5: Is, The question is, would you date an ex-wife of
- 29:59Speaker 5: one of your friends?
- 30:00Speaker 1: I couldn't do it. I couldn't think about all the
- 30:02Speaker 1: times they were together.
- 30:03Speaker 4: I know.
- 30:03Speaker 2: But what if they've been divorced for four years? It
- 30:06Speaker 2: doesn't matter.
- 30:08Speaker 1: I'm with Sissy on this. I would not get there. Now,
- 30:11Speaker 1: I would date people who have maybe gone on dates
- 30:14Speaker 1: with people before in a larger circle of acquaintances. Because
- 30:17Speaker 1: that's just life. But there's a barrier for me. If
- 30:22Speaker 1: you've been married, if I'm a friend with you and
- 30:23Speaker 1: you're a marriager and you're like, bro, please do me
- 30:25Speaker 1: a favor.
- 30:27Speaker 8: Dater.
- 30:31Speaker 1: No, I can't do it.
- 30:31Speaker 6: Okay.
- 30:34Speaker 1: On air with Ryan Seacrest. It's Ryan Seacrest, Sissany, Tanya.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Everybody's here. So the king waves. I told you I
- 30:43Speaker 1: was at the gym over the weekend, pretty much spending,
- 30:47Speaker 1: hobbies are out. gyms are in for me like what's
- 30:50Speaker 1: my hobby that's it that.
- 30:52Speaker 2: Is your hobby my body that's a good hobby.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Yeah that is my hobby right now made it my
- 30:57Speaker 1: my primary hobby enjoying it the bike path on the
- 30:59Speaker 1: weekends i think i'm gonna get a beach cruiser so
- 31:02Speaker 1: look out you know the fat the really fat tires
- 31:06Speaker 1: that i can take out on the sand to crank
- 31:08Speaker 1: i want to grind in the sand a little bit.
- 31:10Speaker 6: That's not a beach cruiser that's like a a sand
- 31:13Speaker 6: bike or something.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Well i don't know it's got big fat tires that
- 31:17Speaker 1: you can take out into the sand for an extra grind. Anyway,
- 31:21Speaker 1: look for it on a Pioneer U.
- 31:23Speaker 4: All right.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Well, the beaches are.
- 31:26Speaker 2: An issue right now.
- 31:27Speaker 8: I know.
- 31:28Speaker 1: The king waves. A lot of talk about the king waves.
- 31:30Speaker 6: Is this a little preview of what Southern California is
- 31:32Speaker 6: in for this winter?
- 31:33Speaker 7: And yeah.
- 31:34Speaker 6: And this week, especially with this super El Nino, everyone
- 31:37Speaker 6: is really concerned with the highest ocean tides that we're
- 31:39Speaker 6: going to be seeing in years. They're saying seven and
- 31:42Speaker 6: a half feet to eight feet along our coastline. Some
- 31:45Speaker 6: areas could even break records. everywhere from Malibu to Long Beach, Newport,
- 31:50Speaker 6: parts of Orange County.
- 31:51Speaker 2: So like, yeah, all of our beaches. And everyone's freaking out.
- 31:54Speaker 1: But this is unique in a way because we had
- 31:56Speaker 1: such high tides through October of this year. But we
- 31:58Speaker 1: had these king tides last year, this time of year
- 32:01Speaker 1: in November. And So they're happening now, and they're also
- 32:06Speaker 1: coming back Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
- 32:08Speaker 2: That's the thing.
- 32:09Speaker 6: They're like, prepare for Thanksgiving and Christmas because we could
- 32:12Speaker 6: see even higher tides around that time of year as well.
- 32:16Speaker 6: And as we know, Newport Beach has already declared a
- 32:18Speaker 6: local emergency, and crews have been putting up sandbags and
- 32:22Speaker 6: building up the beaches to protect the homes and stuff.
- 32:24Speaker 6: So Newport, Balboa Island flooded a few weeks ago because
- 32:29Speaker 6: of the waves coming through. So everyone is concerned.
- 32:32Speaker 1: Is it's eroding, taking away the beaches and damaging property
- 32:37Speaker 1: and things like that. It's also super dangerous to human
- 32:39Speaker 1: beings because that water can pull you and take you
- 32:43Speaker 1: away and you cannot do anything. I mean, you know,
- 32:46Speaker 1: water is so, it's so contradictory. Water is so beautiful
- 32:49Speaker 1: and peaceful, but it's so threatening and violent too when
- 32:53Speaker 1: it goes the other direction. And I have seen it
- 32:55Speaker 1: take someone. I have actually, I've seen it sweep somebody
- 32:59Speaker 1: into a wave and it's, Did they come back?
- 33:03Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 33:03Speaker 3: Are they okay?
- 33:06Speaker 1: No one knows. I couldn't see that far.
- 33:07Speaker 10: What?
- 33:08Speaker 1: But I saw the wave take them away. Yeah. When?
- 33:11Speaker 1: Years ago. It happened on a vacation. And I mean,
- 33:16Speaker 1: they got swept out. Oh, my gosh. I don't know
- 33:19Speaker 1: what happened after that. They obviously tried to go get
- 33:21Speaker 1: the person. But it is the threat of dangerous water
- 33:24Speaker 1: and the beauty of it. It's such a contradiction, isn't it?
- 33:27Speaker 10: I know.
- 33:27Speaker 8: I know.
- 33:28Speaker 1: All right. Let's shift gears. Coming up next, we're paying
- 33:30Speaker 1: a bill in the 323. That's going to wrap it
- 33:32Speaker 1: up for us today. Tomorrow, we are back with a
- 33:35Speaker 1: second date update, a different type of second date update.
- 33:38Speaker 1: She ghosted him after six weeks. They went out for
- 33:42Speaker 1: six weeks. Then she disappeared. Definitely seems way too long
- 33:44Speaker 1: for no explanation. Come on. You got to have an explanation.
- 33:47Speaker 1: You got to have a reason why.
- 33:48Speaker 2: Yeah, being ghosted after six weeks.
- 33:50Speaker 7: Ouch.
