- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: This is another special episode of the Almost Famous podcast.
- 0:10Speaker 2: We're gonna break down some headlines, some of the biggest
- 0:12Speaker 2: things happening in Bachelor Nation, some huge show announcements that
- 0:17Speaker 2: Bachelor Nation is a part of. This is gonna be great. Yes,
- 0:21Speaker 2: we have Becca Kufron here to share all of her opinions.
- 0:24Speaker 2: The first headline is this. It shocked me. It shocked
- 0:27Speaker 2: me so much Becca that I texted anybody I knew
- 0:30Speaker 2: that liked the show, anybody I knew at the Almost
- 0:33Speaker 2: Famous Podcast behind the scenes, and I said, what the
- 0:37Speaker 2: headline is this? Bachelor Nations Brandon Jones and Serene Russell
- 0:41Speaker 2: break up this According to e they shared a joint
- 0:45Speaker 2: statement online Becca talking about how they've attempted to work
- 0:51Speaker 2: through their differences privately. They're asking for respect. There's no
- 0:56Speaker 2: hate between the two of them, but they all are
- 1:00Speaker 2: calling off their engagement now. If you remember when they're
- 1:04Speaker 2: on the show, it felt like such a sure thing
- 1:06Speaker 2: that Jesse Palmer even asked if that he you know,
- 1:09Speaker 2: if they want to get married right there, and they
- 1:11Speaker 2: just wanted their family around is the only reason. They
- 1:14Speaker 2: said no to it. So here's what I've heard, because
- 1:19Speaker 2: I was very curious, and I was shocked, more shocked
- 1:22Speaker 2: than anything. So I thought they were just such a
- 1:23Speaker 2: great couple. Was that this isn't necessarily a huge surprise
- 1:27Speaker 2: to those close to them, there have been some some
- 1:29Speaker 2: issues here kind of building up, and that this was
- 1:31Speaker 2: something expected by their close friends. What are your thoughts
- 1:36Speaker 2: on it? You've been around Brandon, right, you know it's sad.
- 1:41Speaker 2: This is a sad one for me.
- 1:43Speaker 3: I mean it's always sad going.
- 1:46Speaker 4: I mean it's obvious sad going through a breakup in general.
- 1:48Speaker 4: And I mean and for you and I who have.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Gone through very public breakups from the show. I feel
- 1:55Speaker 3: for them.
- 1:56Speaker 4: I mean it's not something I would want anyone to
- 1:59Speaker 4: have to really experience. I mean, yes, it's like part
- 2:02Speaker 4: of your life and your journey, and I hate stand journey,
- 2:05Speaker 4: but I do feel for them. Yeah, I've spent time
- 2:10Speaker 4: with both of them. I mean, they've they they were
- 2:12Speaker 4: living in San Diego close to us, and we would
- 2:15Speaker 4: see them at some different events and just get togethers,
- 2:19Speaker 4: and they seemed.
- 2:21Speaker 3: Like any couple. But you know, we all hear rumbling.
- 2:25Speaker 4: So I don't know if it was really a sh
- 2:29Speaker 4: I don't want to say, isn't really a shock to
- 2:31Speaker 4: me because nothing really shocks me in this world. I mean,
- 2:36Speaker 4: it's just like the show is so quick and on
- 2:40Speaker 4: and off and things change within a day. I think
- 2:42Speaker 4: you just have to take everything that comes from this
- 2:44Speaker 4: with a grain of salt. But yeah, I just feel
- 2:49Speaker 4: bad for what they have to go through right now.
- 2:51Speaker 4: I mean just with the amount of people probably in
- 2:53Speaker 4: their dms and commenting and press outlets reaching out to them,
- 2:59Speaker 4: like when all they probably want is quiet and want
- 3:02Speaker 4: to break. That's that's I think the hard part.
- 3:04Speaker 3: And knowing just like what they're up against right now.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I was shocked because I've never been around the
- 3:12Speaker 2: two of them together and I was just a massive
- 3:16Speaker 2: fan of them in Paradise. And the other sad part
- 3:20Speaker 2: about this is we didn't get to see a lot
- 3:22Speaker 2: of them in Paradise because they seem so perfect that
- 3:24Speaker 2: they don't ever get showed. They're kind of like the
- 3:27Speaker 2: good couple that you know is going to work out,
- 3:29Speaker 2: and so they never get any drama associated with them,
- 3:31Speaker 2: so we never see them on TV. Yeah, but that's
- 3:34Speaker 2: a sad one. But they have announced they are splitting.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Next headline is Bachelor Nation alum Leslie Murphy, somebody who
- 3:43Speaker 2: I think the world of as well, is pregnant expecting
- 3:47Speaker 2: second child with husband Alex. The baby boat photo has
- 3:52Speaker 2: been posted. They are having their second baby and they
- 3:56Speaker 2: are both very excited about it.
- 4:00Speaker 4: Go to you know, I, I also, just like you
- 4:03Speaker 4: think the world of Leslie. I'm so happy for them, Really,
- 4:06Speaker 4: anyone who is going through this phase and a growing family,
- 4:11Speaker 4: it's so exciting. I will say I did love when
- 4:15Speaker 4: they announced it on Instagram, the throwback that they did
- 4:18Speaker 4: when they when they first announced their first child a
- 4:21Speaker 4: couple of years ago. I feel like they've come full
- 4:24Speaker 4: circle and they kind of recreated that moment with their now.
- 4:28Speaker 4: I think she's what two or three with their daughter.
- 4:31Speaker 4: I thought that was so precious, and I really liked
- 4:34Speaker 4: what she wrote where and I don't even I won't
- 4:38Speaker 4: even quote it, but in her caption she said something like,
- 4:41Speaker 4: you know, we're so grateful to be experienced in this,
- 4:43Speaker 4: but I also recognize the hardships and the different journeys
- 4:49Speaker 4: for other women who maybe you know, can't experience this,
- 4:53Speaker 4: or who are having difficulties with their own pregnancies and
- 4:57Speaker 4: even getting pregnant in general. I thought that was a
- 5:00Speaker 4: really nice sentiment to throw in there, and again just
- 5:02Speaker 4: shows like how great of a woman she is. And
- 5:05Speaker 4: so yeah, I thought that was really beautifully written and
- 5:08Speaker 4: I'm so excited for them.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Well, the stud from Bachelor Nation girls dream about him,
- 5:17Speaker 2: but only one gets the Thomas Jacobs said, Yay, congrats
- 5:21Speaker 2: to you and your beautiful growing family. That's the caption
- 5:24Speaker 2: that was highlighted in the headline.
- 5:26Speaker 5: Oh, just let us speak guy.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Kaylu miller Key celebrates bachelorette party in bridle Shower in
- 5:45Speaker 2: Las Vegas. There's another headline down here that she did
- 5:49Speaker 2: just recently receive her fourth ring from the team, so
- 5:55Speaker 2: the wedding plans are continuing. Caylen looks super happy. The
- 5:58Speaker 2: two of them are planning their wedding in Aspen, Colorado
- 6:03Speaker 2: in just a few months. It will be this year,
- 6:06Speaker 2: but everything's moving forward and she is celebrating with friends
- 6:08Speaker 2: and family. Okay, here's one that I want your opinion on.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Former Bachelor Nick Viile said he was self conscious about
- 6:21Speaker 2: the eighteen year age gap between him and his fiance Natalie. Okay,
- 6:27Speaker 2: that's pretty much what the headline speaks to right. The
- 6:30Speaker 2: headline speaks to the article eighteen year age gap. Becca thoughts,
- 6:36Speaker 2: how would you process that if you fell in love
- 6:38Speaker 2: with somebody eighteen years older than you? Should he be
- 6:42Speaker 2: self conscious?
- 6:43Speaker 4: I mean, I cannot fault anyone for what they feel,
- 6:47Speaker 4: and I'm sure if I was in his position, I
- 6:49Speaker 4: would also haven initial question starting a relationship. Of course,
- 6:55Speaker 4: I think that's natural. I also, you know, aged is
- 7:00Speaker 4: just a number, and so I I grew up in
- 7:04Speaker 4: a family my mom and dad were twelve years apart.
- 7:06Speaker 4: That's a very big age gap, and but that's what
- 7:10Speaker 4: I was used to, and I don't think love knows
- 7:12Speaker 4: a number, And so I understand the hesitancy.
- 7:15Speaker 3: And I think he had mentioned like he wanted to.
- 7:18Speaker 4: Card her see her I d when they first started dating,
- 7:21Speaker 4: which I'm sure I would do the same, just as
- 7:24Speaker 4: a joke. But look, they've been together now for what
- 7:30Speaker 4: two three plus years, and it's clearly working.
- 7:34Speaker 3: They're they're engaged, they're.
- 7:36Speaker 4: Planning a wedding, and so I think the initial hesitancy,
- 7:40Speaker 4: I'm sure I totally understand that, but now I'm sure
- 7:44Speaker 4: they're like, it doesn't mean anything to us, eighteen years whatever,
- 7:48Speaker 4: Like this is our life now. I love you for
- 7:50Speaker 4: you and not how old or how young you are.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, it's it's interesting because Jessin I have
- 7:56Speaker 2: a little age gap seven years, And at first it
- 8:03Speaker 2: was like a little bit of like a hm, that's interesting, right,
- 8:05Speaker 2: we have a seven year age gap. She's like in
- 8:08Speaker 2: her early twenties. I'm turning thirty. That is just different,
- 8:14Speaker 2: And so you think about it, it never like was
- 8:16Speaker 2: a deal breaker or never something that I was like, oh,
- 8:18Speaker 2: I'm not going to date this person because they're so
- 8:20Speaker 2: much younger. That was never thought. In fact, I was like, yes,
- 8:23Speaker 2: she's gonna look good a lot longer than.
- 8:25Speaker 3: I do, and she's gonna look good regardless no matter what.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Not.
- 8:29Speaker 2: That lucky. But the weirdest part is now as we're
- 8:33Speaker 2: married and we're talking more like it's the television shows
- 8:36Speaker 2: and the references and like the music and just like
- 8:41Speaker 2: commercials that like I'll like quote that she has no
- 8:44Speaker 2: clue of, like literally oblivious to because of just that
- 8:48Speaker 2: seven years. So that'd be the only thing with eighteen years.
- 8:51Speaker 2: There's a lot that happens in eighteen years. Yeah, now
- 8:54Speaker 2: you wouldn't have having like you wouldn't be able to
- 8:56Speaker 2: talk about.
- 8:57Speaker 4: I used to joke with my mom thinking about even
- 8:59Speaker 4: her my dad's age gap, Like my dad was eighteen
- 9:02Speaker 4: when my mom was I think in third grade, and
- 9:06Speaker 4: I used to make fun of that. But I'm like, oh,
- 9:08Speaker 4: the older you get, the more mature you are. And
- 9:10Speaker 4: especially I think with women, we mature faster than men usually,
- 9:16Speaker 4: And so I feel like it kind of bounces it out.
- 9:18Speaker 4: But I can definitely see your point where you're referencing
- 9:22Speaker 4: things that you grew up with, bands, foods, so toys,
- 9:27Speaker 4: anything where if somebody didn't necessarily know that, you're like.
- 9:31Speaker 3: Oh, gosh, I'm aging myself a lot here, aren't I.
- 9:34Speaker 3: So I totally get.
- 9:36Speaker 2: That, Like I remember, this is no joke. I remember
- 9:40Speaker 2: when televisions had like the turnnob because there's like twenty channels,
- 9:46Speaker 2: Like you're like the nice televisions had, like yeahurnnobs. I
- 9:49Speaker 2: remember this, Like Jessica's like flat screens are like where
- 9:55Speaker 2: she was at, like it had it just advanced so fast.
- 9:58Speaker 2: So some of that stuff does make me feel oh,
- 10:01Speaker 2: but it love, Like you said, knows no numbers. Have
- 10:06Speaker 2: you ever met Zach Clark Becca not in person.
- 10:09Speaker 4: We had him on the podcast I mean just following
- 10:13Speaker 4: tatious season, so I've only chatted with him for an hour,
- 10:15Speaker 4: but he seems like a lovely man.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, he obviously does a ton of work in
- 10:20Speaker 2: recovery and rehabilitation and he hosts his first annual Release
- 10:26Speaker 2: Recovery gala. There are some Bachelor Nation stars there with
- 10:31Speaker 2: him at this event. He posted some pictures. He does
- 10:36Speaker 2: some incredible work. And I think from a distance because
- 10:41Speaker 2: I don't know Zach well, he's been on the show,
- 10:44Speaker 2: but that's about it. I just always really respected kind
- 10:49Speaker 2: of how he's enhanced his passions through the platform that
- 10:55Speaker 2: was given to him. And it seems like this gala
- 10:58Speaker 2: was a huge success. They raised over five hundred thousand
- 11:01Speaker 2: dollars to support scholarships for individuals who cannot afford substance
- 11:05Speaker 2: abuse mental health treatment. How cool is that.
- 11:08Speaker 4: It's incredible, I mean absolutely incredible, and I think it's
- 11:12Speaker 4: a great testament for somebody who's on the show. You know,
- 11:15Speaker 4: people I think see contestants on the show and they think, oh,
- 11:18Speaker 4: they're only there for clout or for followers and to
- 11:22Speaker 4: get insta famous, you name it. And I think he
- 11:25Speaker 4: is somebody who has done such a phenomenal job while
- 11:29Speaker 4: he was on his season, but also throughout that to
- 11:32Speaker 4: still be able to, as you said, back up his
- 11:36Speaker 4: passions and to really draw awareness to those.
- 11:39Speaker 3: So I mean kudos to him.
- 11:41Speaker 4: He I've heard nothing but great things about him, and
- 11:43Speaker 4: the fact that he is working so hard on these
- 11:46Speaker 4: charities and something he's talked about since we saw him
- 11:49Speaker 4: on Tatious season. It just I think it's incredible.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I do what an amazing effort. And I hope
- 11:58Speaker 2: everybody here listening goes out and checks out his organization,
- 12:02Speaker 2: maybe just sends him a social media message and says, hey,
- 12:05Speaker 2: great work, keep it up, keep doing you, keep doing
- 12:07Speaker 2: great things, because encouragement is always helpful, and almost famous
- 12:12Speaker 2: listeners are good at that. Well. Big announcement just came
- 12:16Speaker 2: through breaking headlines, Becka, it's not on your rundown, so
- 12:19Speaker 2: you'd have no clue what it is. Okay, but USA
- 12:23Speaker 2: Network adds all new dating show, The Big D. It
- 12:29Speaker 2: is explained it as an untitled social experiment from Studio Lambert.
- 12:34Speaker 2: It's slated alongside Temptation Island and in season two of Barmageddon.
- 12:41Speaker 2: The Big D premieres June fourteenth at ten pm. Eastern Time.
- 12:45Speaker 2: And here's why I'm speaking about it. You remember, right,
- 12:50Speaker 2: the Big D might sound familiar to so many because
- 12:52Speaker 2: it's hosted by Jojo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers. So the
- 12:58Speaker 2: whole concept this is so interesting to me is recent
- 13:05Speaker 2: divorces search for romance and paradise with one catch, their
- 13:09Speaker 2: exes are also along for their journey. Oh no, I mean,
- 13:15Speaker 2: can we talk about something that just feels like a
- 13:18Speaker 2: mess is gonna happen?
- 13:19Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, that sounds so messy that I have
- 13:24Speaker 3: to watch.
- 13:24Speaker 2: This, right, I mean, there's there's so many shows coming
- 13:29Speaker 2: out that if you would have told me the concept
- 13:32Speaker 2: of them ten years ago, be like, there's nobody would
- 13:34Speaker 2: ever agree to do that, Like who in their right mind? Right?
- 13:39Speaker 2: There's shows about like moms dating like younger men, but
- 13:45Speaker 2: like the son of the mom is also on the
- 13:48Speaker 2: beach watching you know, his mom date other men along,
- 13:52Speaker 2: Like this stuff is all crazy, Like it's only set
- 13:55Speaker 2: up to one be really entertaining and to be absolutely
- 13:59Speaker 2: ridiculous crazy.
- 14:01Speaker 4: Oh, you could not pay me enough to be a
- 14:03Speaker 4: contestant on that show.
- 14:05Speaker 2: No, can you imagine like being on a beach with
- 14:09Speaker 2: your mom as she's dating like people your age and
- 14:12Speaker 2: you're watching them like canoodle listen.
- 14:15Speaker 4: If that was my mom and she wanted to do that,
- 14:18Speaker 4: I would say, hell, yeah, Mom, let's go for I
- 14:20Speaker 4: will help you, a will be your wing woman.
- 14:22Speaker 3: But but oh.
- 14:24Speaker 4: My gosh, no, I mean for this, Like, I can't
- 14:26Speaker 4: imagine having to go through a divorce. I'm sure is
- 14:31Speaker 4: gut wrenching and probably one of the hardest things anyone
- 14:33Speaker 4: would have to do in their life. But like then
- 14:34Speaker 4: to have to try to move on and meet somebody
- 14:38Speaker 4: while your ex is right.
- 14:40Speaker 3: There, no, thank you, uh huh no.
- 14:43Speaker 4: But I'm sure honestly, I could see a lot of
- 14:46Speaker 4: the relationships rekindling with their initial person that they were
- 14:50Speaker 4: once married to.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Yeah, that could actually be the case too, right, Like
- 14:54Speaker 2: you're there's a comfort, there's a there's a care, So
- 14:58Speaker 2: I could actually see that. Also, I have to admit it,
- 15:01Speaker 2: I'll be watching it. Yeah, yeah, I mean I think
- 15:06Speaker 2: it's it's something i'd tune into.
- 15:08Speaker 3: Well as cringing as you're saying that too.
- 15:12Speaker 2: I just feel like I'm one of those people that
- 15:13Speaker 2: watches television and have to I have to watch through
- 15:16Speaker 2: my hands, Like I can't watch it. It makes me
- 15:18Speaker 2: feel very uncomfortable. Like television and I have a very
- 15:21Speaker 2: emotional relationship. We uh get. I get very uncomfortable watching
- 15:25Speaker 2: awkwardness on TV, but I like doing it.
- 15:30Speaker 3: You can't stop.
- 15:31Speaker 2: I can't stop, which is probably why this will be
- 15:34Speaker 2: a massive success.
- 15:35Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, I'm going to have to have you record,
- 15:37Speaker 4: like Instagram live when you're.
- 15:39Speaker 3: Watching some of these seasons, some of these episodes.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Maybe that's what I'll start breaking down here. Also on
- 15:44Speaker 2: the allst podcast is the Big Please do just so
- 15:49Speaker 2: many unspeakable things. Another headline is House of Villains. Premiere
- 15:54Speaker 2: is the Fall of twenty twenty three, hosted by Joel McHale,
- 15:57Speaker 2: This outrageously sinister competition elimination series brings ten of reality
- 16:02Speaker 2: television's most iconic and infamous villains under one roof, where
- 16:07Speaker 2: they must outsmart, out manipulate, and outscheme each other through
- 16:12Speaker 2: a series of challenges in order to win a cash
- 16:15Speaker 2: prize and the title of America's Ultimate Supervillain. House of
- 16:19Speaker 2: Villains is produced by Irwin Entertainment and John Irwin, Dave Kooba,
- 16:24Speaker 2: Eli Frankel, and Matt Odgers serving as executive producers. Okay,
- 16:33Speaker 2: that's the show. I have a couple of thoughts, probably
- 16:36Speaker 2: not gonna be popular and people are gonna be upset.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Here's I will be interested in the show, and I
- 16:44Speaker 2: want to hear from you who you think from our
- 16:46Speaker 2: you know, television show the Bachelor and Bachelorette, who you
- 16:50Speaker 2: think would be really great on the show. I feel
- 16:53Speaker 2: I feel like though, here's my first thought when I
- 16:56Speaker 2: read this, It's gonna give people even more incentive to
- 17:01Speaker 2: be a villain on these shows so they stand out.
- 17:05Speaker 2: And I don't like that because I don't want anybody
- 17:09Speaker 2: to come off of at least the show that we
- 17:12Speaker 2: were on and be villainized like that. It happens because
- 17:15Speaker 2: some people are just mean, or some people are just manipulative,
- 17:18Speaker 2: or some people are just jerks, and they get kicked
- 17:21Speaker 2: off because they are those things. And at that point,
- 17:26Speaker 2: like I hope they have a wake up call and
- 17:27Speaker 2: they start to change course and they such as see
- 17:29Speaker 2: some reality in themselves. But there's another side of this
- 17:34Speaker 2: where people get villainized unfairly. We have all known somebody
- 17:39Speaker 2: that's had to happen, and it stinks like it's not fun,
- 17:44Speaker 2: and so I don't want people to feel like they
- 17:46Speaker 2: need to be a villain to make TV because I
- 17:48Speaker 2: just don't feel like it's a healthy, healthy lifestyle. I
- 17:52Speaker 2: would guess, I would.
- 17:53Speaker 3: Say, yeah, And I guess too.
- 17:55Speaker 4: There's always, like you said, there's the villains that like
- 18:00Speaker 4: say terrible things to other people on the show and
- 18:03Speaker 4: or say terrible things when they're in an interview. And
- 18:06Speaker 4: then there's also the ones that are kind of manipulated
- 18:09Speaker 4: or it's more of like not the person's actions or
- 18:12Speaker 4: words themselves, but other people just chirping in of like
- 18:15Speaker 4: why they maybe don't like someone. I think that this
- 18:18Speaker 4: will give people an incentive to just be even more dramatic,
- 18:25Speaker 4: over the top, like very much out there.
- 18:29Speaker 3: But again, I think it's just going to weed out.
- 18:31Speaker 4: People who if you're going to just Bacheler in general,
- 18:35Speaker 4: people who are there quote unquote for the right reasons,
- 18:37Speaker 4: versus who would be there to gain this next level
- 18:42Speaker 4: or this next platform or go on a different show. Okay,
- 18:47Speaker 4: so for your first part, you asked who from the
- 18:51Speaker 4: Bachelor franchise would could I see going on the show?
- 18:54Speaker 4: I mean, oh god, I mean the first person that
- 18:58Speaker 4: pops into my mind would be Karenne from She.
- 19:03Speaker 2: Is exactly what popped into my mind.
- 19:05Speaker 4: Was she on your season?
- 19:06Speaker 3: Oh, she's on Nicks. And I only say that because honestly,
- 19:10Speaker 3: I don't even think she's a villain. I'm gonna say
- 19:12Speaker 3: that right now. She's just funny.
- 19:15Speaker 4: She says it like it is, so I think she
- 19:18Speaker 4: just makes great TV. So I think she would be
- 19:21Speaker 4: very entertaining on this spin off. So I could see her. Yeah,
- 19:25Speaker 4: just first one that pops to mind. I mean, if
- 19:26Speaker 4: we're talking like actual villain villain, somebody who has said
- 19:31Speaker 4: things and done things, I would say, uh, Chad from
- 19:35Speaker 4: JoJo's season, because like we've seen.
- 19:39Speaker 3: Heard a lot about him.
- 19:40Speaker 4: But but Karin would just be entertaining. I think she'd
- 19:44Speaker 4: be so fun to watch. She would be like a
- 19:46Speaker 4: little sassy, a little spicy, funny.
- 19:49Speaker 3: So I mean I would cast her if I was
- 19:51Speaker 3: a producer.
- 19:52Speaker 2: Yeah. When I think of this, Kring was the first
- 19:54Speaker 2: nipop in my mind. Again, not because I think she
- 19:56Speaker 2: is the ultimate villain or that she's a great villain,
- 20:00Speaker 2: but I think she has the like the villain title
- 20:03Speaker 2: because she is controversial. She is she does say whatever
- 20:08Speaker 2: she's feeling, and she's not pushy, but she's very direct
- 20:14Speaker 2: in how she pursues and so I think that really
- 20:18Speaker 2: like threw people off that were also on her season
- 20:21Speaker 2: and she's all but but here's the thing. If I'm
- 20:23Speaker 2: when I'm watching the show, I want to watch people
- 20:26Speaker 2: I want to watch, and she's somebody I love watching
- 20:29Speaker 2: on television because she's outrageous. Yeah, it's awesome.
- 20:33Speaker 4: Yes, again, she would be there for the entertainment like
- 20:36Speaker 4: she wouldn't be. I mean, I can't see her like
- 20:40Speaker 4: actually being malicious but just hilarious.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Yeah, that would be the first one that comes in
- 20:45Speaker 2: my mind. Listeners, if you're listening to this right now,
- 20:48Speaker 2: please message us on who you would love to see
- 20:51Speaker 2: from the Bachelor franchise on the show. Who you want
- 20:55Speaker 2: to see kind of be the villain that represents the
- 20:59Speaker 2: bachelor in Bachelorette. Okay, two more headlines, Becca, then we'll
- 21:15Speaker 2: get you out of here, back to your busy world.
- 21:19Speaker 2: This one's fun for me. I always love to ask
- 21:21Speaker 2: this question when people come on to the show when
- 21:26Speaker 2: they've been you know, removed from the show during their season.
- 21:29Speaker 2: You know, who catches your eye from other seasons, Like
- 21:32Speaker 2: if you went to Paradise, who would you be interested in?
- 21:35Speaker 2: And Clayton Eckert reveals who from Zach season caught his eye.
- 21:41Speaker 2: I don't know if we'll see Clayton in Paradise or not.
- 21:43Speaker 2: That would be cool, right, worked for you, maybe you
- 21:46Speaker 2: could work for him on Clickbait, Clayton admitted, And we
- 21:53Speaker 2: had this person on the Almost Famous podcast, and I
- 21:55Speaker 2: will say she's a catch. I think like she should
- 21:58Speaker 2: go to Paradise and she would be sought after and
- 22:02Speaker 2: have a blast, and she seems like a really sweet human.
- 22:06Speaker 2: But he said that Jess caught his eye from Zach season.
- 22:13Speaker 2: I could see it.
- 22:15Speaker 4: She's the one who kind of removed herself a few
- 22:18Speaker 4: weeks early. Correct, Okay, yeah, with the body.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Glitter, with the body glitter that's actually brought up to her. Yes,
- 22:26Speaker 2: she's beautiful, she was sweet, she was kind, she was
- 22:30Speaker 2: curious about Ashley and I on the podcast, Like you
- 22:32Speaker 2: can really get a sense that this when somebody's like
- 22:36Speaker 2: being interviewed just how they are probably in person. I
- 22:40Speaker 2: could see this one.
- 22:42Speaker 4: Okay, Well, I mean I've I don't know her, I've
- 22:44Speaker 4: never chatted with her. I can only go off of
- 22:46Speaker 4: what I've seen and heard. I mean, okay, if we're
- 22:49Speaker 4: talking about anyone from Zach season. I feel like most
- 22:53Speaker 4: of those women are incredible and so supportive of the
- 22:56Speaker 4: other women.
- 22:57Speaker 3: I think this.
- 22:58Speaker 4: Year with women on the beach will be just phenomenal.
- 23:03Speaker 4: Like though, any man that walks down will be lucky
- 23:05Speaker 4: to be there. But I could actually see too, because
- 23:09Speaker 4: from what I've seen she seems very sweet.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Clinton is such a kind man.
- 23:14Speaker 4: And really truly is so supportive and wants the best
- 23:19Speaker 4: for others.
- 23:20Speaker 3: So I mean, I could see it. I would support that.
- 23:24Speaker 2: I would support it too. You're right, the beach we
- 23:27Speaker 2: say it every season. It just seems like every season
- 23:30Speaker 2: tops the season previous. But the beach this year is
- 23:34Speaker 2: going to be full of incredible women who, yes, like
- 23:37Speaker 2: you said, have kind of shown already that on a
- 23:42Speaker 2: bigger stage, in a more tense environment, they support each
- 23:47Speaker 2: other so well that I think Paradise could be a
- 23:49Speaker 2: lot of fun. These dudes are lucky. They better feel lucky.
- 23:54Speaker 2: They better know they're lucky. They better be very appreciative
- 23:56Speaker 2: if they get invited to the beach this year, and
- 23:58Speaker 2: they better be good. Dude. I hope that, like I
- 24:01Speaker 2: don't know, they find they find the top from both sides.
- 24:05Speaker 3: Right right now, I'm excited to tune into the season.
- 24:09Speaker 2: Will be happening soon. Also, what's happening soon is we're
- 24:13Speaker 2: no longer going to be in the off season, listeners.
- 24:16Speaker 2: We have a little bit of time left, and we've
- 24:18Speaker 2: enjoyed this off season. We always enjoy the off season.
- 24:20Speaker 2: We get to bring on incredible co hosts and incredible
- 24:23Speaker 2: guests like Becca, talk about life, catch up on life,
- 24:26Speaker 2: do a little in depth dive with them, and just
- 24:30Speaker 2: kind of reset before a new season airs in the
- 24:34Speaker 2: new season of The Bachelorette is premiering back Monday, June
- 24:37Speaker 2: twenty sixth, and it's at a new time. I want
- 24:42Speaker 2: to hear what you think of this. It's at nine
- 24:44Speaker 2: pm Eastern time on ABC. Still. Okay, here's my thought,
- 24:50Speaker 2: super exciting one. Like you said this, I think this
- 24:52Speaker 2: is gonna be a great season. I hope it's a
- 24:54Speaker 2: great season. They need a great season nine pm. So
- 24:59Speaker 2: if they're gonna ask me two watch three hours of
- 25:05Speaker 2: The Bachelorette every Monday, sometimes on a Tuesday. Who knows,
- 25:09Speaker 2: they might even throw in another Wednesday starting at nine pm.
- 25:13Speaker 2: I'm gonna be exhausted. I was exhausted last season. I'm
- 25:16Speaker 2: gonna be exhausted. So are they like cutting down the
- 25:21Speaker 2: length of an episode do you think? Because at nine pm,
- 25:24Speaker 2: if you're in school, which a lot of their demographic is,
- 25:28Speaker 2: that means you're not in the bed till like eleven o'clock,
- 25:30Speaker 2: which seems late for me.
- 25:32Speaker 4: Listen, mom is in bed at eight thirty these days,
- 25:34Speaker 4: there's no way I can stay up to watch that.
- 25:37Speaker 4: I will support charity and I will see if I
- 25:40Speaker 4: can get cuts early or watch it the next day.
- 25:43Speaker 4: That's crazy to me. I can't imagine them cutting the
- 25:47Speaker 4: episode shorter because I mean, each season, you know, has
- 25:50Speaker 4: an allotted amount of weeks, right, so it's usually what
- 25:53Speaker 4: eleven or twelve weeks, and you have to show enough
- 25:57Speaker 4: to make a season, And so I can't image to
- 26:00Speaker 4: them cutting it to only an hour each week because
- 26:02Speaker 4: then you're not seeing anything.
- 26:05Speaker 3: And so.
- 26:08Speaker 4: I mean, I think they're going to keep the same
- 26:12Speaker 4: aunt of time, but I'm they're going to lose a
- 26:14Speaker 4: lot of people that late.
- 26:16Speaker 2: I agree, it feels it feels like a strategic move.
- 26:21Speaker 2: I don't know if it's just strategic to get more
- 26:24Speaker 2: viewers less viewers, or to just move it to a
- 26:26Speaker 2: new time slot. But as we mentioned, early on. This
- 26:31Speaker 2: is kind of a new era in the Bachelor of franchise. Yeah,
- 26:35Speaker 2: I'm excited and very intrigued at what it will look
- 26:38Speaker 2: like and how it will feel. But there will be
- 26:40Speaker 2: changes and we have to expect those changes. This is
- 26:43Speaker 2: the first This is the biggest change this next season
- 26:47Speaker 2: in the Bachelor franchise. I would say, I would argue
- 26:51Speaker 2: this since episode one, season one. I mean, yes, losing
- 26:55Speaker 2: Chris Harrison was a massive change for the show, a
- 26:58Speaker 2: big switch. But losing producers and founders and overseers who
- 27:06Speaker 2: has been who have been there since the beginning, who
- 27:08Speaker 2: have the ultimate say since the beginning, I think will
- 27:12Speaker 2: change a lot and so a lot of curiosity leading
- 27:16Speaker 2: into June twenty sixth.
- 27:17Speaker 4: Yeah, I have no idea what to expect in any regard,
- 27:22Speaker 4: which I kind of love.
- 27:23Speaker 2: Yeah. Right, we're all on the same page here. Well, Becca,
- 27:26Speaker 2: it's great to have you. Thank you again for sitting
- 27:29Speaker 2: down and hanging out with us. Ashley is doing that
- 27:33Speaker 2: special project that I can't speak about yet, but she
- 27:36Speaker 2: will be back. She will come back. But until next time,
- 27:41Speaker 2: I've been.
- 27:41Speaker 3: Ben, I've been Becca.
- 27:43Speaker 2: We'll talk to you soon.
- 27:45Speaker 3: Thanks.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Everyone, follow the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
