- 0:13Speaker 2: to make smaller introduction videos that connect with longer YouTube videos.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Okay. You can utilize it to do storytelling.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Storytelling is good no matter what platform you're you're on,
- 0:26Speaker 2: so that you can build your brand or you can
- 0:29Speaker 2: showcase testimonials.
- 0:30Speaker 1: It all just depends.
- 0:31Speaker 2: But just know it's all going to be super catchy.
- 0:36Speaker 2: It's just I like watching TikTok videos.
- 0:40Speaker 1: I just don't want it creates videos.
- 0:43Speaker 2: But I mean, just think about why you use it
- 0:46Speaker 2: or why you go on it. But people spend lots.
- 0:49Speaker 2: It is the number one platform.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Okay. Instagram is great.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Still, Facebook It's still great as well, but TikTok is
- 0:57Speaker 2: the number one platform when it comes to how many
- 1:00Speaker 2: people utilize TikTok every single day. Okay, you could go
- 1:04Speaker 2: look at the data, just search it and you'll find
- 1:07Speaker 2: that TikTok has is number one.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:11Speaker 2: A lot of users still use Facebook. Billions of people
- 1:13Speaker 2: still use Facebook. But again, this is one of the
- 1:18Speaker 2: platforms that is top rated and you know there are
- 1:21Speaker 2: businesses on there still, you know, killing it in the game, so.
- 1:26Speaker 1: So definitely make sure.
- 1:27Speaker 2: But it is going to be like your short form.
- 1:31Speaker 2: You're going to think about creating short form, right, think
- 1:34Speaker 2: about the attention span of people today, why they're on TikTok,
- 1:40Speaker 2: why are there most social medias were entertainment purposes, but
- 1:44Speaker 2: still a lot of people learn and through you know,
- 1:49Speaker 2: ads and through just creating good content, you're going to
- 1:53Speaker 2: gain followers.
- 1:54Speaker 1: And you know they'll purchase from you as well. Okay,
- 1:57Speaker 1: so it's a different set.
- 1:59Speaker 2: That's going to be your your gen Z users who
- 2:04Speaker 2: are still in school. Right, So I'll talk about the
- 2:08Speaker 2: hours and and everything, right, but what is most important
- 2:11Speaker 2: is that you know and understand your audience. Just like
- 2:15Speaker 2: we just said, you have to understand your audience because
- 2:17Speaker 2: you're going to cater to them, okay, because you don't
- 2:22Speaker 2: want to be all over the place. Think about your goals.
- 2:25Speaker 2: So that was a great question to start us off.
- 2:27Speaker 2: So think about those goals. What TODAYA said in the chat,
- 2:31Speaker 2: Think about those goals. Think about who you're talking audiences
- 2:34Speaker 2: as well. So that's gonna gonna help you because sometimes
- 2:38Speaker 2: you might be be you might have a new course, right,
- 2:42Speaker 2: so you're going to think about your audience cater your
- 2:46Speaker 2: course to them. Okay, So just think about what it is,
- 2:50Speaker 2: your business goals, what you have coming out and and
- 2:53Speaker 2: your audience. All right, uh, TikTok fast placed, fast paced.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Okay.
- 2:59Speaker 2: So that mean meaning that trends are gonna come and
- 3:02Speaker 2: are gonna go quickly.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Right. Uh, So that means that the interest is easily shifted. Okay.
- 3:08Speaker 2: You'll you'll need to use the analytics for TikTok, stay
- 3:12Speaker 2: up the stay up to date on the algorithms that change.
- 3:16Speaker 2: So you want to be relevant if you see a
- 3:18Speaker 2: challenge out, if something some news comes out, or whatever.
- 3:23Speaker 1: You want to.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Stay on top of the trends with with TikTok. Okay,
- 3:28Speaker 2: because it's like the fashion it's like the fashion scene. Right,
- 3:31Speaker 2: one season, something's in the next thing, next season, something's out.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Okay.
- 3:35Speaker 2: So breaking into an audience here is a little harder. However,
- 3:40Speaker 2: if you learn to collaborate with other people, that's a
- 3:45Speaker 2: great way to break into your audience. So if to
- 3:49Speaker 2: you all are in the transportation industry, you know.
- 3:52Speaker 1: That might be a good way our conversation do.
- 3:55Speaker 2: A lot you know, well, so just think of think
- 4:00Speaker 2: about what you can do with TikTok and don't forget

- 7:12Speaker 2: they posted there the funny TikTok on their Facebook page.
- 7:16Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, this is funny.
- 7:17Speaker 2: They keep making these funny TikTok. So then I'll go
- 7:20Speaker 2: following it. But I'm not on TikTok as much. But
- 7:24Speaker 2: you will get my follow. You will get my follow
- 7:27Speaker 2: if I see it on a different platform, So make
- 7:29Speaker 2: sure you market.
- 7:30Speaker 1: It as well. Okay, all right, So those are some things.
- 7:37Speaker 2: So some things that you told do the market on TikTok,
- 7:41Speaker 2: you know, show off your new products, new services that
- 7:44Speaker 2: you offer. Anytime you can get testimonials, y'all. It's just
- 7:51Speaker 2: I mean, you know, some of y'all, some of us
- 7:53Speaker 2: been following for that three am testimonials on that weird channel,
- 7:58Speaker 2: like when and we done bought whatever product because they
- 8:03Speaker 2: had testimonial at the testimony. You were like, well, maybe
- 8:07Speaker 2: maybe this white handkerchief will work for me and clear
- 8:10Speaker 2: up all my debt. Like y'all know, y'all don't see that.
- 8:15Speaker 2: You're like, oh, let me get that that water and
- 8:18Speaker 2: let me sprinkle it on something, and you know what,
- 8:21Speaker 2: my business is just gonna take off.
- 8:22Speaker 1: So like because you see all these testimonials.
- 8:25Speaker 2: And so that convinces you that, oh I could do
- 8:28Speaker 2: this too, right, So definitely have the testimonials and because
- 8:33Speaker 2: that's gonna help.
- 8:34Speaker 1: That's gonna help. But you know, even for social media,
- 8:37Speaker 1: it helps you on.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Your website too, So continuing you know, to showcase to
- 8:41Speaker 2: showcase that.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Right.
- 8:43Speaker 2: So a lot of times I've seen where if I
- 8:46Speaker 2: post a testimonial about something, even my own personal testimonials,
- 8:49Speaker 2: people will backchonel me. They'll send you a DM asking
- 8:53Speaker 2: you about you know this.
- 8:54Speaker 1: And that or whatever. So it works.
- 8:58Speaker 2: You know people that may they may not like like
- 9:00Speaker 2: it or anything. You might not see it, but I
- 9:03Speaker 2: promise you you're gonna get those those d ms. People
- 9:06Speaker 2: are watching. They are watching, all right again. Collaborate with
- 9:10Speaker 2: other creators or other businesses. You are in a big
- 9:15Speaker 2: group right now. You're in the ey l U platform. Okay,
- 9:19Speaker 2: with all the opportunities we have. I put a post
- 9:23Speaker 2: for putting in your did I do Instagram? I don't
- 9:26Speaker 2: think I did Instagram? But putting in your different links,
- 9:28Speaker 2: your YouTube links, yeah, we all putting your YouTube links there,
- 9:33Speaker 2: your LinkedIn link links, so that we can go in
- 9:37Speaker 2: follow each other, like each other's favors, but also collaborate
- 9:41Speaker 2: in the meantime too. So look who's in class and
- 9:45Speaker 2: reach out to people to collaborate. I'm trying to get
- 9:49Speaker 2: a collaboration together. Well, actually, actually I.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Do have a collab going on, and we're.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Gonna be speaking at a conference next next month for
- 10:03Speaker 2: a whole tech conference. So and I got another collaboration
- 10:07Speaker 2: that I don't want to get together. So it's great
- 10:11Speaker 2: when you collaborate, you can go faster. That's only if
- 10:13Speaker 2: everybody's working together. So make sure you get with the
- 10:16Speaker 2: right the right perposon the right people so that you
- 10:21Speaker 2: know that y'all grow together.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Okay.
- 10:26Speaker 2: And then yeah, you want to make sure that you
- 10:29Speaker 2: link your other social media, your website, your shop. Make
- 10:33Speaker 2: sure you use your the link Okay, if you use
- 10:36Speaker 2: link tree or milkshake, they're different link apps of what
- 10:41Speaker 2: you want to get kind of like, if your website
- 10:43Speaker 2: is your one place where you want people to go,
- 10:45Speaker 2: that's fine, but make it somewhere where you can convert people.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Okay.
- 10:49Speaker 2: If your website is not ready, like ready ready, use
- 10:53Speaker 2: link tree, milkshake, you know, so then you can put
- 10:56Speaker 2: you know, where you want them to go.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Maybe it's a.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Lead e lead generator, okay, but you I only want
- 11:00Speaker 2: to make sure you link your social media or link
- 11:05Speaker 2: your your generator, your lead generators.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Okay. And that might change depending on what you're posting.
- 11:11Speaker 2: It might be you a twenty four hour post and
- 11:12Speaker 2: you're like, hey, I want you all you know, I'm
- 11:15Speaker 2: running a special right now, Hit the link, you know,
- 11:19Speaker 2: hit the link in the bio. And so it just
- 11:22Speaker 2: depends on what you're doing okay for your marketing.
