- 0:00Please, please, please, please, please.
- 0:02I I want to play. I want to play Star Citizen
- 0:054/20/50 I want to play one point O 4/20/50.
- 0:09I feel like that's a thing that people want where they're like,
- 0:13hey, if you Star Citizen desk, if you could put my job in this
- 0:18game, that would be amazing. The thing isn't though, now that
- 0:33you say that, I can't see it. You're absolutely right.
- 0:35What time? Let's let's talk about that
- 0:37first because I was going to go in a totally different
- 0:39direction. You can make as much money as
- 0:41you need and work your way towards any ship in the game.
- 0:44They they were trying to cash in off of that nostalgia and that
- 0:48height. You are live on Opencoms Radio,
- 0:57your Star Citizen call in show loosely produced.
- 1:01Just about every week we talk about all the cool things
- 1:06happening in our favorite video game, and occasionally we
- 1:12digress. Occasionally we go off the
- 1:15rails. But this week I have someone
- 1:18very, very, very special to help keep us on track.
- 1:22It is Lord Analbis. You know, I wasn't sure if you
- 1:28were going to start out with that, but I knew it was coming,
- 1:32so. Lord, Lord Anne.
- 1:36Anne is a hard A. You realize you named yourself
- 1:40after Jar Jar Binks, right? I'm Jar Jar Jabroni and I'm here
- 1:44with Lord Anubis hanging out on the couch.
- 1:47How you doing today, Lord Anubis?
- 1:50Well, it's Wednesday, which means that it's a Wednesday, so
- 1:57I don't know how I feel. It is it is Wednesday, my dudes,
- 2:04Wednesday here on planet Earth and in the verse, which is
- 2:09actually honestly not the best day to actually record these
- 2:12shows because. What would be the best day?
- 2:16Well, the best day would probably be Thursday night and
- 2:19then air it Friday because all the news comes out on Thursday.
- 2:26Yeah, the the SCLS come out on Thursday.
- 2:30Yeah. There's like the dynamic where
- 2:33we where we speculate on things and then the news releases
- 2:36things that they were already developing and then we go see
- 2:39they listen to us. That's a real theme park, dude.
- 2:43That's an adventure. That's a roller coaster ride.
- 2:47That's what that is. But we have some of that coming
- 2:51up because Citizen Khan is on the way.
- 2:54And every day we get a little, a little closer to that beautiful,
- 2:58that holy holiest of holiest Star Citizen.
- 3:02One point O Oh, Chris Roberts. Please see him Dave One point O.
- 3:16Only if we're good. He's watching you.
- 3:21Oh yeah. But.
- 3:21It's easy when you're sleeping. But you know, you had to you had
- 3:27to go there with the sleeping. Chris Roberts is out here making
- 3:32wholesome video games for for adults with deep pockets.
- 3:39You're you're right here making light of it.
- 3:41But I think you're just jealous. Lord Nubis.
- 3:44Maybe not jealous. Maybe what angsty.
- 3:50Edge edge. I like to have as much edge
- 3:54possible. Are you seeing your edgy or
- 3:57you're on edge? I'm a Lord.
- 4:00OK, well this week you chose the the question this week and I
- 4:08actually kind of like it. It's almost complete.
- 4:11How will you live in Star Citizen?
- 4:13One point O so I guess Lord Numbus.
- 4:15I'll start by asking you buddy, your question.
- 4:19How will you live in one point O?
- 4:22You know, I, I, I see it being as part of something that just
- 4:32feels like life. So like, I want to be an
- 4:37engineer some of the time, but I also want to be able to go
- 4:41exploring and maybe, you know, make schematics and things like
- 4:44that. And, you know, just basically
- 4:46lead the life of a tinkerer, you know, and, and, and, and the
- 4:52dynamics of the game, the, the mechanics of the game need to
- 4:54allow for that. And, and, and from what they've
- 4:58shown us in these sitcoms, we don't know what they're going to
- 5:01show us with this, with this upcoming one.
- 5:04But from what they've shown us, it looks like that's, that's a,
- 5:07that's a possibility if they, if they stick to the plan.
- 5:10And, and that I think that's what I'm excited for is just to
- 5:12be able to just just tinker around and play with the actual
- 5:20fabric of the game and, and make a life for myself.
- 5:24And maybe, you know, be the one who supplies other people with
- 5:29really, really great upgrades or really great schematics, you
- 5:32know? Do you do you think they're
- 5:34going to touch on that in in two weeks?
- 5:40You're hopeless. That's a hard part.
- 5:45I had no hope for you. I'm totally I don't think so
- 5:49because I saw the the ship leaks.
- 5:52Yeah, I mean, they, they talked about these things years ago,
- 5:56you know, but we really haven't heard much about it since.
- 5:59And yeah, so I, I am worried that, you know, one of the one
- 6:04of the quotes I heard from a dev was, you know, well, when we
- 6:08want to take the project in a new direction, but they haven't
- 6:12like finished the directions they've already taken it into,
- 6:15you know, but they want to preserve that freedom.
- 6:17And that is, that is kind of a scary thing about, about, about
- 6:20thinking about that future. But I think today is more about
- 6:25the fantasy of what we're buying into just to make it light and
- 6:28fluffy. OK, well, Speaking of people who
- 6:33like fantasy, our next caller, it looks like he's playing Hell
- 6:37Divers 2 at the moment, so let's see.
- 6:41I'm going to pull up this guy right here.
- 6:42Lord Nubis. You can you can introduce him.
- 6:48I want everybody to use their most royal greeting for the the
- 6:56the current ruler of the Galaxy, Duke Lato the Second.
- 7:02Thank you. Thank you.
- 7:04I expected a bit more fanfare, but I guess that counts.
- 7:09It's never good enough for you. He's a sloppy 1.
- 7:16I'm only a worm if I get excited, OK?
- 7:18Otherwise I'm just a regular. Just a regular dude.
- 7:22Just a regular dude. A regular dude in an
- 7:25exoskeleton. Today we've decided to go very,
- 7:29very far out. It's a Star Citizen one point O
- 7:33Yeah. And we're and we're asking
- 7:34everybody today almost complete how will you live and Star
- 7:39Citizen one point O. How will I live in the verse I I
- 7:48you know, this is this kind of ties into all my feelings on the
- 7:52game lately because it. I'm just missing what I would
- 7:56like to be doing the most, which is I, I just want to explore.
- 8:02I want to build little bases. I just want, I just want to
- 8:06live, you know, I kind of want to be like a, like an Old West
- 8:09pioneer guy out there, you know, with my, my bearskin jacket and
- 8:16coming into town just to sell my wares and such.
- 8:20You know, that's, that's basically what I want.
- 8:22I want to live independently. I want to build stuff, you know,
- 8:24I'll definitely be like looking for things that my org wants or
- 8:28things that I can sell. But that that's the main thing
- 8:34it's going to having base building, having crafting is
- 8:38going to make it where having these massive planets that we
- 8:42have makes sense. Because right now there we have
- 8:45these huge beautiful planets, right?
- 8:48But there's no reason to go anywhere other than like the
- 8:51dozen or so points of interest. Other than that, it's just empty
- 8:56space. And it might as well be, you
- 8:58know, a tenth of the size that the planet is that.
- 9:03But if I can build a base, you know, I'll be low flying.
- 9:06I'll be going around looking for pretty spots or hopefully
- 9:10engaging with some interesting scanning to find minerals under
- 9:13the ground. Duke.
- 9:14Duke, Duke, you're telling me how you want.
- 9:19Yeah. Isn't that what I'm supposed to
- 9:21be doing, Telling you how I want to live?
- 9:22No. No, no, you're I'm not.
- 9:23You're actually supposed to mean how you will live in Star
- 9:26Citizen. I don't, I don't see the what's
- 9:33the difference? What are you talking about?
- 9:36How will I live in Star Citizen? How will you live in Star
- 9:38Citizen? Isn't that what I was saying?
- 9:42No, you were saying which how you want to live.
- 9:46How will like how will I like if shit is just the same way it is
- 9:49right now, I. Don't.
- 9:51Know have you seen? Anger you?
- 9:52You seen anger management? I have, I have, I have.
- 9:57Am I? Am I at the beginning when
- 9:58you're hiring people to fuck with me?
- 10:00I'm just saying I'm Jack Nicholson now.
- 10:03I just want to interject, I was specifically told not to derail
- 10:07the show and the hypocrisy of management to tell me that.
- 10:14And then immediately derail the show.
- 10:15Who told? You that.
- 10:18Yeah, But this is jar jar, so that it should be expected
- 10:21that's there's going to be some somewhat intentional derailment.
- 10:26It's the only way he can function.
- 10:28Look, you tell me who told you, I'll take care of it.
- 10:31Yeah, I'll. Straighten him up so he was
- 10:33Gungan, so you know. But that's, that's how, that's
- 10:37how I will live in Star Citizen. It's, it's how I want to live.
- 10:40And therefore that's how I will live.
- 10:42Unless, you know, unless we're being, if we're being
- 10:45pessimistic. In which case I will live the
- 10:48way I live in Star Citizen right now.
- 10:50Which is I'm currently playing hell divers with my my sweaty
- 10:56console friends, just waiting for the day when I can get them
- 11:00all into Star Citizen. You do you doing OK in there.
- 11:05I know we're doing really bad playing against the Illuminati,
- 11:10and, you know, I'm not focused. So they were all just dead for a
- 11:13second. And yeah, yeah.
- 11:15Yeah, they had some good updates there, some big, some monsters
- 11:19and shit. They had.
- 11:20They did. They should.
- 11:21That fly in in low atmosphere. You haven't played Helldivers
- 11:24too in a while, give it a go. There's it's done playing some
- 11:27cool stuff. Yeah.
- 11:29But it, you know, so they've had some good updates.
- 11:33They haven't changed the gameplay at all, but they don't
- 11:38have to, which again, you know, it goes back to, to Starsys and
- 11:42they they have to, they need to make some changes.
- 11:47Whoa, whoa, whoa. You're putting it back on the
- 11:49rails. I'm trying.
- 11:51I'm trying to put it back in the rail.
- 11:52I thought this is the kind of podcast you wanted, one where we
- 11:56talked about the issue of the day, had meaningful discussions,
- 12:01you know, pushed forward the human achievement.
- 12:07How bad of you to correctly interpret our well communicated
- 12:12yeah, expectations and then but but but yeah, I see what you're
- 12:19talking about. You, you want that independent
- 12:20lifestyle you want to have that rolls into town and people go,
- 12:26oh, hey, that. 'Cause right, right now, like
- 12:29there's not honestly, there's not a lot for me in terms of
- 12:33what I usually like to do. Like I'll join org mates and
- 12:37stuff and they're, you know, they're just being loot goblins.
- 12:42They're like, oh, let's go in this, let's go in the CZS and
- 12:44we're going to loot this and that.
- 12:46And to me, I'm always like meh, like I haven't even got into the
- 12:50Wiccolo stuff because it just, it doesn't interest me to grind
- 12:56for what I find to be an ugly piece of armor with like horns
- 13:00sticking out of it or something. Yeah, yeah.
- 13:03I'm with you there. I just I just want my base.
- 13:06If I get a base which becomes a huge resource sink and crafting
- 13:10and and a business, then I will grind my ass will be in there
- 13:14grinding away. But otherwise I'm like, you
- 13:19know, I jump in, do some bounty hunting, do some some hauling
- 13:23missions or you know, I did the the story driven stuff, which is
- 13:29cool. Hold on, I gotta reinforce these
- 13:32guys, but. Duke did.
- 13:34Did you see the the ship leaks? Ship leak?
- 13:40Well, I don't think I did. Really like 2.
- 13:42That's a leak, no see. But no, I have no interest in
- 13:45ships all. Right, all right, well, with.
- 13:48That I'll say it now I'm I'm gonna say it again.
- 13:50The day the day of. OK.
- 13:52Like if Citizen Con is a 2 hour ship commercial, yeah, I'm going
- 13:56to. I'm going to flip whatever
- 13:57table's in front of me. No.
- 14:01No, you're going to be sitting at my table.
- 14:03I'm going to sit at. My table for the for.
- 14:05Those of you, it will not be a commercial for the ship.
- 14:10However, there will be ship in the commercial.
- 14:14Thank you. That is Jens Florence from CIG
- 14:18Frankfurt and for those of you who don't know, Duke is going to
- 14:20be Co hosting Open Comms Radio at the DC Bar Citizen October.
- 14:28I should I bring a laptop? I should probably get a.
- 14:31No, no, you don't need to bring anything.
- 14:32Just bring you all. Right.
- 14:34I'll just bring. If you want to bring your laptop
- 14:35you can, but I don't think. It has a good.
- 14:37Scrolling or anything? No, I can just watch my videos
- 14:41on yours right? You don't mind?
- 14:45We'll talk about that. We'll, we'll, we'll talk about
- 14:47your videos, but we're going. To be watching.
- 14:51Oh God. Oh that.
- 14:52That would be giving away the plot.
- 14:53Anubis, I told you not to derail.
- 14:55You had one. Instruction.
- 14:56Yeah, Come on, Anubis. Anubis, why don't you introduce
- 14:59this next guy here? This next guy, everybody.
- 15:02We know him. We love him.
- 15:04I would like everybody to give their warmest welcome to the
- 15:09Wanderer of the Galaxy, the Cosmic Hobo.
- 15:14That's the best intro I've had on this show ever.
- 15:17Thank you. It feels like a sting, it feels
- 15:24like you just took a jab at me. And if you're watching right
- 15:29now, this is was Hobo's fantastic catch.
- 15:32When we were playing a couple weeks ago, you were falling down
- 15:36in atmosphere. It's all Credoil.
- 15:39That was Credoil's catch. That was I was the I was the
- 15:41ball. He was.
- 15:43Wait a minute, I. Was.
- 15:47Nope, not. I'm not going to follow through
- 15:49with that analogy. No.
- 15:52Tell us about. You were that gerbil.
- 15:54Oil in the bowl. Nope.
- 15:58That's me flying through the air.
- 16:00I thought I could jump to the ship from the station.
- 16:04I could not and could. I was like, all right, I'll
- 16:07catch you like, OK. And he did, although I was
- 16:11already. And the thing was, was after he
- 16:13caught you, he caught a second person.
- 16:16Yes. Who was the second person he
- 16:18caught? Oh.
- 16:21Yeah. It doesn't matter.
- 16:23They're they're they're not here.
- 16:24It's fine. I don't know.
- 16:27Oh, it might have been. Yeah, it might have been Meme
- 16:28Dog. But again, it's back in the and
- 16:31the and the ship's architecture. I I managed to actually get
- 16:34revived and I lived another day. Not only did he catch you
- 16:39though, but he caught you like right down the center.
- 16:41Oh yeah, it's a beautiful catch. It was he nailed it.
- 16:44And then you see, I was landing in there with my prospector.
- 16:47OK, but cosmic hobo this week we're we're asking almost
- 16:53complete. How will you live in Star
- 16:55Citizen 1.0? I already heard the the the
- 17:00trick question route this so I'm going to cheat and say modestly.
- 17:05What? Honestly, I will live modestly.
- 17:10You like eating apples and stuff?
- 17:11What are you talking about? All right, I will spend most of
- 17:16my days probably trying to work on our org bases and my own
- 17:21little cottage on the side of the mountain in Castro.
- 17:27Where's Castro? It is going to be this next
- 17:32system after Nyx. I could pull up the map, but.
- 17:35I don't remember. Exactly where it connects,
- 17:37Castro does. But it's like, you know how Pyro
- 17:43is like no security, Nyx's no security.
- 17:46Well, Castro's kind of medium security.
- 17:52Similar. Probably to Stanton, except
- 17:54instead of Megacorp we've got the UEE kind of military being
- 18:01the dominant force in the region or system.
- 18:07Now do we like EU EE? It depends.
- 18:14Do you do do you? Do you like the vandal scum?
- 18:19I don't know, you know, I only ever saw one cut open in front
- 18:22of me on a table. Good points right?
- 18:27Do we believe the anti vandule propaganda?
- 18:33They look scary but maybe they're actually super friendly.
- 18:36Like, sure, the Messers are gone, but are they really?
- 18:43So do we like the UEE? Do we like the idea of democracy
- 18:49and freedom, with measures in place to hold us, be true to
- 18:54ourselves and to be able to make sure that people.
- 18:57Are we're talking about managed democracy?
- 18:59We like, we like these things. We like these things.
- 19:02Hasn't you you always been that way?
- 19:05No. It's not going.
- 19:07To be that way, now they are. But is it that way now?
- 19:10Is it, I mean, you have places like Kirsten Dynamics that
- 19:13exist, you know, that question. You got these slave contracts
- 19:17that people get stuck in. So there's, you know, and.
- 19:22Piracy. Golly.
- 19:24Like what are they? Doing.
- 19:26Golly. What what, what the gosh darn
- 19:29heck are the cops doing? Like where is the advocacy?
- 19:34Where, where, where are they? They're not here and them them
- 19:40calling up the the the civilian defense force all the time.
- 19:45What's with that? Don't they got?
- 19:47Cops supposed to be a high security sector and yet.
- 19:51Yes. There's so yeah, exactly where
- 19:53it's there's so much crash down piracy out there.
- 19:57You know, I'm starting to, you know, think that they're going
- 20:02to start coming for our, you know, our weapons.
- 20:04And it won't be legal to just run through an airport, you
- 20:07know, spaceport security checkpoint with the rocket
- 20:10launcher anymore. I can't wait, and my dream is
- 20:20when we can actually chase bounties on foot and like
- 20:24smuggle weapons through security and stuff and then we can
- 20:27basically just be deckered from Blade Runner.
- 20:32Yeah, I, I heard that that might be one of the things we're
- 20:35looking to do when they have the AI, you know, like 7.
- 20:40Years. No, that one's supposed to be
- 20:43coming. Like hello months.
- 20:45Like actual turrets that can target FPS players.
- 20:52So hobo, I know you saw the ship leaks.
- 20:56Yes. Do do we want to?
- 20:59What do you? Think I'm fine with spoiling
- 21:02that. No, we can spoil it, but what do
- 21:04you like? What do you think?
- 21:05What's your take on those? There's three ships in a
- 21:08vehicle, right? Yes, I fully expected two of
- 21:13them. Well, OK, there's actually.
- 21:17So yeah, there's three ships and a vehicle or a suspected
- 21:23vehicle. Well, there's the Was it the
- 21:26Perseus? Do we need a spoiler tag on this
- 21:28whole? Here's the spoilers, folks.
- 21:30Spoiler alert. Spoiler alert, I mean.
- 21:33Come on, is it? This is one of those?
- 21:35This is managed. This is a managed leak bro.
- 21:39All right, what? Are you talking about?
- 21:41It's also very kind of, I don't want to say vague, but it's not
- 21:45concrete enough that I would not go out planning any sort of
- 21:49financial decisions on it at this time.
- 21:53Yeah, yeah. Hold your credit cards.
- 21:54Hold. Your walls.
- 21:56Remember you can buy all ships in game with in game currency
- 21:59eventually. And you can also have, you know,
- 22:03I mean, if you have purchase ships, you could always still
- 22:06remember to just kind of melt them and kind of spread them
- 22:08around a little bit, you know, and, and, and enjoy what you
- 22:12like. You don't lose anything
- 22:13permanent unless it was exclusive.
- 22:16And there's not that many of those, yeah.
- 22:19But yes. No.
- 22:21Well this is a good time for me to say if anyone has the upgrade
- 22:25to the Nomad that has the LTI and the game package.
- 22:30Oh boy. Or no, not the game package.
- 22:33It has the LTI and like you can upgrade to it.
- 22:36Those are pretty rare these days.
- 22:38Yeah, if you got that and you want to give it to me, that'd be
- 22:41dope. That way I could have a game
- 22:43package with Squadron 42, Star Citizen LTI, and a ship in one
- 22:49package and wow. I mean, I'd love to upgrade my
- 22:53Connie Phoenix Emerald to an LTI Connie Emerald Phoenix with
- 22:57that, but the the ships, yes, ships, yes.
- 23:04Spoiler alert. Spoiler alert again, three
- 23:07ships. Or you're going to click on
- 23:09YouTube and see it. Yeah, we'll have a big old
- 23:12thumbnail with everything in there that spoil you just like a
- 23:15just like a real streamer. Yep.
- 23:18All right, three ships, one suspected vehicle.
- 23:22I say suspected because I'm working off of my own theory
- 23:25with it, but so Perseus will be for IAE.
- 23:31That was sort of already assumed because that's a big headliner
- 23:35ship. Paladin for sitcom and.
- 23:38We know this, yeah. Well, we, it's strongly
- 23:43suspected. I I don't want to say.
- 23:44I want to say we know. You know it's coming, everyone
- 23:47knows it's coming, and. Then it's probably coming.
- 23:50It is known. And they're also, they've been
- 23:53kind of teasing it with the designs that they've teased with
- 23:58the citizen Con direct goodies package, because the one of the
- 24:04flight suits is clearly designed to line up with the the Paladin.
- 24:10And then there's the Vandal Stinger, which is the Vandal
- 24:18heavy fighter, and that is also probably going to be on the
- 24:25referral rewards list. That question mark, question
- 24:28mark, question mark ship. I have like, I don't know,
- 24:32fucking 600 or something, which I'm sure everyone will be
- 24:35rushing to get. It's probably going to be the
- 24:38Vandal Stinger. Probably.
- 24:39I think it's, I think it's like 200 referrals.
- 24:42Yeah, it's it's, it's a, it's a lot, but yeah.
- 24:47And then lastly, this one's interesting because it's
- 24:52possibly introducing a new manufacturer because just the
- 24:57way it's worded, it's a Gray's market, which I I'm going to
- 25:03come back to that name in a minute, but the Gray's market
- 25:06Shiv, which I believe to be a vandal bike.
- 25:11Now why can't it be a Shiv like a regular Shiv, Like a little
- 25:14knife? As much as we can dogpile CIG
- 25:20for selling us things, I don't think they're going to just
- 25:24shell us. Shell us, sell us a shift like.
- 25:33A. Like a stabby stab shift.
- 25:35Yeah, hold, hold that thought hobo.
- 25:37We're going to dive back into these ships and we're going to
- 25:39let on let on our next caller here.
- 25:42Lord newbies, you want to introduce this next caller.
- 25:46Yes, now everybody, we all know that the make a great dish.
- 25:53You need a little butter, garlic, red pepper flake, and
- 25:56that's how you get broccoli, Rob.
- 26:00Ally, thank you so much. Thank you.
- 26:04Delightful intro. He's the killing it today, yeah.
- 26:08I know. Broccoli Rob Broccoli Rob, you
- 26:12may have heard us talking about ships.
- 26:13We're going to get right back to talking about ships, but I want
- 26:16to give you an opportunity to answer our question almost
- 26:20complete. How will you live in Star
- 26:23Citizen? One point O.
- 26:26So I think a lot of people didn't like a lot like everyone
- 26:30here so far has been talking about like wanting to like have
- 26:33a base. And I also want to do that.
- 26:35But I gave it a little bit, you know, thought about it a little
- 26:39bit. I think it would be interesting
- 26:41to kind of travel and collect blueprints.
- 26:46Like I want to, I want to have like a almost like a travelling
- 26:50shop. And the cool thing about the
- 26:53blueprints in this game is that they're going to be tied to me
- 26:58so I can go anywhere. And if I've got a fabricator and
- 27:04the spies, I can make anything anywhere.
- 27:07And so I kind of thought that was an interesting idea, like
- 27:12instead of being tied down to a single place, sort of going
- 27:16around and finding the resources that I need, and then someone
- 27:20says, hey, I need AI. Mean, best case scenario, I get
- 27:24the blueprints for an XL1. Hey, I need an XL1.
- 27:27It's like, all right, cool, I'll stop by, whip it up for him,
- 27:31give it to him. I get paid.
- 27:32Then I keep moving. What do you spend your money on
- 27:37other than ship parts and and crafting materials?
- 27:42I guess keeping up my ship and like little trinkets, little
- 27:48souvenirs from the places that I visit.
- 27:51One of the little little tchotchkes which is the exact
- 27:53opposite of how I actually am, is I fucking hate clutter.
- 27:58Oh yeah. But I think in game my 400 eyes
- 28:02is going to be covered in little, you know, bullshit
- 28:06trinkets. You got you got toys on your
- 28:08desk. I've got.
- 28:11I've got books on my desk and I've got, yeah, I mean, run out
- 28:19of space. I got this guy you can read.
- 28:21That's about it. You can read.
- 28:24Read. And all the julep tin that I got
- 28:28from a party that I keep all my. Pens in What's this, a Julep's
- 28:32hand? A julep tin.
- 28:36It's like a metal like think like a like a flower.
- 28:39Kentucky Derby like metal cup that you drink tulips out of.
- 28:45Like a like like, you know those copper mugs they use for Moscow
- 28:49mules? These are for tulips.
- 28:51Yeah, OK. Thank you for alcoholizing it
- 28:55for me. You're welcome, buddy.
- 29:01You understand completely. So we were broccoli Rob.
- 29:04We were talking about ships as well, and the secret ships.
- 29:08And Hobo just told us about the Perseus, the What's the gunship?
- 29:13Paladin. The Paladin, the Shiv and the
- 29:19Espera Vandal heavy fighter. Stinger.
- 29:25The Stinger, Brock to Rob, do you notice anything, anything
- 29:32interesting about the ships that we've been lit have been leaked
- 29:35to us? I do.
- 29:38Sounds like two of them are vandal based ships.
- 29:42Yeah. Which you know, you know where
- 29:46the vandal hang out. Wally's on Orison.
- 29:52I yeah, I I guess they do, but there's another place that we
- 29:59learned that they had been reading recently.
- 30:03It's a wonderful little place. It's a it's a mix.
- 30:09Yeah, you've been harping. So you and Hobo have been
- 30:12harping at this Knicks thing for like two or three months now at.
- 30:17Least. Yeah, yeah, we have the
- 30:20recordings, you know. Do you, do you think they're
- 30:25gonna, this is gonna be like remember how we had pyro themed
- 30:28a couple? You think they're gonna have
- 30:29Knicks themed even though it's Citizen Con Direct?
- 30:32You think it's gonna be a Knicks themed?
- 30:34I think it'll be, yeah, something like that.
- 30:38I think it's going to be a condensed version of what we got
- 30:43last year. And my, my hope is that they
- 30:47show off a completed mix and say we're aiming for the end of the
- 30:52year for a 4.5 to drop mix. And then we all get excited.
- 30:57Now we're heartbroken for Christmas when it gets pushed in
- 30:59January, but I also think they're going to show us
- 31:04something similar to what we got for Knicks last year of Castro.
- 31:09We're going to see a more completed Castro.
- 31:13This is it's it's always you 2, you know, You know what I mean?
- 31:19Yeah. Go ahead, Anubis.
- 31:21OK, you you want me to go even crazier?
- 31:24No, that's not what I thought you were going to do.
- 31:26I'm about to go crazier. Let's get this.
- 31:29Let's get this all the way off the rails, as I was warned not
- 31:32to. I think that if you got that
- 31:35digital goodies package, you may be doing a test preview of
- 31:38Knicks. Oh my God, that.
- 31:42Was Citizen Khan a couple years ago.
- 31:46Yeah, the pyro playground, I forgot that was tied to the to
- 31:49the ticket. Yep.
- 31:53Oh shit. I see what you're saying.
- 31:56I see what you're saying but did you just you don't have any
- 32:00evidence for this? Is this is just a feeling and
- 32:02pure speculation and a rumor? This is I, I want.
- 32:09Well, I mean, yeah, I mean, if you want to cut it down to brass
- 32:13tacks, yeah. But I mean, seeing as how far
- 32:15along they are in the development of Nicks being as
- 32:19well one of their major port for that thing that that let's say
- 32:22the Crusader of Nicks, which would be Levski is is going it.
- 32:28I mean, it, it was already mostly done.
- 32:30They're probably going to throw a portal Osar somewhere in there
- 32:32somehow. Maybe not.
- 32:35Yeah, that's just wild right there.
- 32:37But. That's now you're just drunk.
- 32:40Where are you? Probably.
- 32:43Well. Portals are left and they said
- 32:45they were going to do something with it.
- 32:47To bring it back in October. In October.
- 32:52At Citizen Guy they're going to reveal that they've rebuilt it
- 32:56and they're putting it in in 4.4.
- 33:01How do you know this? That's very specific.
- 33:05Don't, don't worry about it. I can't.
- 33:07I can't give up my sources. Trust the plan.
- 33:09I, I, I think it'll be one of those situations where you know,
- 33:13you're going to, you're going to have like serif from there.
- 33:16And then all of a sudden in the horizon you see like, you know,
- 33:20like Port Oliser approaching. And it's kind of like one of
- 33:22those incursion things where when the two universes merged,
- 33:25they cancel each other out in order to save, we got to like
- 33:28destroy one or the other. I I.
- 33:32Choose to destroy the universe without Port Oliser.
- 33:35Yeah, then Doctor Doom ends up like taking them all and then we
- 33:39just have like 1 secret Dark citizen.
- 33:46How's this for for, you know, outlandish I've been this is a
- 33:51total aside. So I'll just say this real quick
- 33:53and then we can move on. But Port Alasar remade and then
- 33:57on the what are those called? The rings, the names of everyone
- 34:04who has backed since, like from this moment.
- 34:09Oh, oh, hold, hold. I OK, OK, OK, hold on.
- 34:12Bear with me. So you know of the original that
- 34:17Kickstarter goals, but the fund the stretch goals right there
- 34:23was when one of those a special exclusive backer system.
- 34:28What if that exclusive backer system, the only station there
- 34:32is freaking Olasar? 2. 160 AU port alasar.
- 34:39Like right in the middle right next to the sun.
- 34:41So it's impossible to jump to unless you own a mattress.
- 34:48That's that's. Let's not give them ideas.
- 34:53No, they have a jump point to it.
- 34:54It'd be a it'd be a separate system.
- 34:59Frederick Online has a similar thing.
- 35:02There's a, there's like an actual like, well, it looks like
- 35:05a little anomaly next to Earth space stock.
- 35:07And if we go in there, well, I mean, you have to qualify to go
- 35:11in, but when you go in, there's like a space station in a, in a
- 35:14pocket dimension. And you know, that's like the
- 35:19exclusive, like, Oh, you're super cool guy because you, you
- 35:23know, you spent this much money or whatever and you get to hang
- 35:26out there like no one's ever there.
- 35:30I think that's what they'll do with all the stars.
- 35:32They'll put it in this not pocket dimension necessarily,
- 35:36but a special transient jump point that you have access to.
- 35:40If you were an original back or you have this coordinates on
- 35:42your black box, which is what they've described in the past,
- 35:46it would be like. But could you bring me?
- 35:51Yeah, you could bring other people like they did help.
- 35:53OK. From what Chris Roberts has said
- 35:56in a long long time ago, yes you could share the the jump point
- 36:01coordinates. Are we really quoting Chris
- 36:03Robert? I know.
- 36:05Like as a reliable source of information on starts listening.
- 36:09Yeah, I know that's that's, that's a tricky 1.
- 36:12I, I saw someone post recently on like one of the, the newer
- 36:16Star Citizen lives, whatever they were like, oh, I miss
- 36:18having, you know, I miss hearing from Chris, you know, in these
- 36:21videos and stuff. And do you.
- 36:23I was like, yeah. And it was always, it was fun
- 36:26and exciting, but it was like it, it was just never, never
- 36:31anything that was delivered, you know, and that's like, that's
- 36:35fine. I'm not trying to be super
- 36:36critical of him. Like, obviously he's, you know,
- 36:38he's his own hype man. He's super excited about the
- 36:40project. And then if it wasn't for him,
- 36:42he wouldn't have it. But it was like, yeah, like I
- 36:45I'm OK constantly being with. I'm OK with no longer being
- 36:48constantly disappointed. I I'm happy to see him at
- 36:52Citizen Con, but I always exactly temper my expectations
- 36:57for whatever he says. Yep.
- 36:59Oh damn it, sorry I just got killed by a robot.
- 37:04Temper your expectations, everybody.
- 37:06Our next guest is coming in. Hot Lord Newbies, you can
- 37:12introduce this guy. You're on a roll.
- 37:19Everybody, especially the citizens of this wonderful
- 37:24verse, please welcome Wicked. Citizens.
- 37:32Long listener, occasional caller.
- 37:35Occasional caller wicket occasional caller wicket thank
- 37:39you for calling in to open comms radio your Star Citizen call in
- 37:42show this week. We're asking almost complete how
- 37:47will you live in Star Citizen? One point O it's.
- 37:51A good question. Nobody really knows.
- 37:55So this is basically all fantasy because we really won't know
- 37:58until till it happens. But it was up to me to plan it
- 38:04out. I will be coming off of my 4th,
- 38:075th, or 6th time playing through the Squadron 42, unlocking all
- 38:13the secrets in the little Easter eggs that will hopefully maybe
- 38:17help me in Star Citizen, unlocking new features or maybe
- 38:23discovering new secrets in the larger Star Citizen universe.
- 38:28And then Star Citizens, we're going to open, we're going to
- 38:31get in there. We're going to decide OK, where
- 38:33we're going to launch from. We may end up all having to
- 38:36start off at Stanton and then branch out from there.
- 38:38Maybe that'll still be the only option, you know, the four
- 38:41planets and Stanton. From there, you have to work
- 38:44your way through. So what I'll do is I'll be
- 38:49teaming up with my Guild and we'll go explore the universe.
- 38:56We'll we'll find out what we can get up to.
- 38:59Maybe there's like a intro bread come narrative type quest that
- 39:05we'll all go on as a group and maybe we'll through exploring
- 39:11and mining and just let you know, living in this universe
- 39:16that's finally released, we'll uncover some secrets that lead
- 39:20us into areas that you just don't want to solo.
- 39:25You can try to solo, but you're going to be very unsuccessful.
- 39:29So you're now forced to team up with your Guild.
- 39:32You have to go hard in the paint, as it were, and fight off
- 39:37these enemies. Maybe they're aliens, maybe
- 39:39they're NPCS, maybe there are other players, but we're going
- 39:43in the hostile space and we're and we're going to be like our
- 39:48our namesake of our Guild and the Red Scar nomads.
- 39:51We're going to have to be nomadic.
- 39:53We're not going to be able to plant roots right away.
- 39:56So we're going to have to learn to live on the run.
- 39:58And as a group, we're going to be doing exactly that until we
- 40:03discover the benefits of crafting.
- 40:07And crafting hopefully will be something schematic based and
- 40:10hopefully these schematics will be physicalized like comp boards
- 40:14or tire claw type things that you have to plug in.
- 40:17And maybe you have to plug in multiple things to make better
- 40:21and better crafting materials. So we'll be scavenging for that
- 40:25or maybe looting players for that or fighting over them.
- 40:28And then of course, once we have our our stash with all that
- 40:31stuff, we'll have to get together to move them because
- 40:34you can't just tuck them away and they're safe because anytime
- 40:37you die, you could lose it all. So we'll constantly have to be
- 40:41fighting our way through the universe.
- 40:43And eventually we're going to build this grand space station.
- 40:47And then after months and months of playing the game, we're going
- 40:51to discover that we've just figured out a way to move the
- 40:54space station without having to disassemble it.
- 40:57And it's some great secret we discover.
- 40:59And we're able to now to move the nomads home and become truly
- 41:03nomadic. That's what I envisioned for us
- 41:05as a group and as a as me as a player.
- 41:11Yeah you can. You can always create a static
- 41:14warp bubble using the station's you know.
- 41:18Power. We'd have to shunt power to
- 41:19structural integrity first. All that, all that well.
- 41:24Obviously, but we're going to need a boost of like 300%, but
- 41:28we can do that if we reroute mechanics.
- 41:31Is going to be the. Fun of discovering it all.
- 41:34We don't really care about what the mechanics of it is right
- 41:37now. It's just the concept of being
- 41:39able to do something like that and maybe have some grand
- 41:42discovery that no one else finds out, you know?
- 41:45That's what I'm hoping for and how I hope that I'll be able to
- 41:47live in the universe. Also, is wicked the only person
- 41:50in the verse that refers to it as a Guild?
- 41:54I I find myself slipping at times, but I do try and stick
- 41:57toward. Guild or Corp?
- 42:00It doesn't really. Matter, whatever, Whenever I
- 42:03hear you say, I feel like you're like you're trying to enforce
- 42:06it. No, no, that's that's just.
- 42:10You know, he's he's looking around with that dad energy and
- 42:12he's like the Guild that were all a memory.
- 42:15I just I was with my Guild mates.
- 42:18All all the. Games I've played MMO wise, they
- 42:22were, you know, especially starting off and Wow, it was a
- 42:24Guild, you know, that was the big thing.
- 42:26So I just kind of stuck with that.
- 42:28I even playing EVE Online, which everything was a Corp.
- 42:32Everybody was always on my ass, he says.
- 42:34It's, you know, I had all these these actually.
- 42:38It's a Corp actually. I mean, I'm surprised he isn't
- 42:48calling it a siege, but. That's my kind of vision of how
- 42:52I'm hoping I'll be able to play the game, you know, something
- 42:57like that. Why haven't we derailed him yet?
- 43:02OK, so if we get 3, we need at least three ZPMS, right?
- 43:06I don't. Care about all that part the
- 43:09the, the pseudoscience mechanics of it will all come and
- 43:12hopefully get fleshed out. Hopefully we'll discover
- 43:15something like that or something, you know, something
- 43:17totally different, something totally new sci-fi base,
- 43:20whatever. I don't care.
- 43:22That doesn't matter. It's just the act of being able
- 43:24to do it. And maybe, you know what?
- 43:26What if they had something like that in the game that we as a
- 43:31group can discover, and we're the only ones that know about
- 43:34it. We don't leak it to anybody.
- 43:38Yeah. I mean, I could, I could see
- 43:41that if they really realistically play around with
- 43:44the gravity well. It's just things like that where
- 43:47we could maybe possibly make something that can affect.
- 43:50The well, I'm just saying the game.
- 43:52To move it and I think that would be amazing.
- 43:54An undocumented game mechanic that is discoverable.
- 43:59You know what I'm saying? I, I was able to say, let's,
- 44:03let's shy away from that. We don't want to get into that
- 44:05kind of discussion. I'm just still imagining Murph
- 44:08act. Cheating on documentation.
- 44:10Sending us into the planet. In Into the Void.
- 44:14Yeah, it's like, it was this too, guys, since like, suddenly
- 44:18the station starts dragging into the nearby planet and like, oh
- 44:21God, let's die. And only the Guild master can
- 44:24push the button. And I, yeah, your oops.
- 44:30It's just like everything starts like dragging and shaking.
- 44:33It's like, oh God, what do you do?
- 44:37Well, you do got me thinking because, you know, a while back
- 44:40I was, I was thinking, how cool would it be if we had like some
- 44:43sort of YouTube, Spotify in game that there were, there were
- 44:48certain content hosted, there was certain, you know, like
- 44:52podcasts hosted or even official ones.
- 44:55And you can just kind of turn it on while you're in the game.
- 44:57But you also got me thinking, OK, well, if you're going to get
- 44:59that in depth, because you're going to be spending that much
- 45:01time in there. What if you actually had things
- 45:03like programming in the game, you know, where you can actually
- 45:07develop your own shit, like your own AIS in your own Minecraft
- 45:13to, to automate your stuff? Well, there you go.
- 45:17Please, please, please, please, I I want to play I want to play
- 45:20Star Citizen for 2050. I want to play one point O for
- 45:232050. I feel like that's a thing that
- 45:27people want where they're like, hey, if you Star Citizen desk,
- 45:32if you could put my job in this game, that would be amazing.
- 45:39Like I'm good. I know how to code.
- 45:42So if you could just put coding into this and I could just do my
- 45:45job. Yeah, dude, I'm, I'm like, hey,
- 45:50I want you to put games in those arcade machines so I can play
- 45:54the games in my video. Game let me get soda from the
- 45:56soda machine and play games on the video that's and that's what
- 46:01I'll do I'll just. Add a layer to this.
- 46:04Do you have? A Red Star arcade on the
- 46:06station? We'll spend.
- 46:09But but what if your, What if your weapons or your Shields
- 46:13that you produce in game have certain, you know, like, like,
- 46:19like balancing systems that maybe you wrote cooling, you
- 46:23know, fan curves, things like that, that you, that you put in
- 46:26there that you wrote for those things and they turn out to be
- 46:28the best. And that's why your weapons that
- 46:31you sell or your Shields that you sell are the ones that
- 46:34everybody is looking to buy. It is theoretically possible
- 46:38because they did mention weapon and component tweaking and they
- 46:43stretch goals. That was and that was one of the
- 46:45very first ones, too. I, I don't know, keep the video
- 46:48game a video game, especially if it's going to be multiplayer.
- 46:51Agreed. Yeah, but do you put games in
- 46:54those arcade machines 'cause that would be kind.
- 46:56Of yeah, do you do 100%? Yes, they have.
- 46:58They have some too, like. The I know I played one of them.
- 47:01Yeah. There's one that's like Contra,
- 47:03yeah. Or maybe there's like an
- 47:06airplane one like a, you know, with the old timey shooter.
- 47:10Yeah, just put it in. They have a few that they can
- 47:12work with, they just need to, I don't know what they made it in,
- 47:16but just get it into the game, yeah.
- 47:18It's just, it would take someone probably like 3 weeks to really
- 47:21like do it, you know? That's that's the hope.
- 47:28Yeah, that's the hope anyway. We have another caller in the in
- 47:32the waiting room wiki. Is there anything else you want
- 47:33to want to add before I bring on this next guy?
- 47:36Well, that whole programming idea, I just think that's just
- 47:39the back door to exploiting. I hope that nothing like that
- 47:43ever comes to the game, not anytime soon anyway.
- 47:46I mean, they're so ready. So many different ways to
- 47:49exploit stuff and. Then we all go back to being
- 47:52script kiddies also. Yeah, pretty much.
- 47:55Not again. Pretty soon you'll if we went
- 47:58down that road, I think we'd we'd all soon be writing a
- 48:03script to let our script play the game and we'll just sit back
- 48:06and watch it all unfold. What's the point?
- 48:10It's all going to be vibe coded anyway.
- 48:11Well. Don't sit back and watch it all
- 48:13unfold. Get in the action with Cruise

- 48:37I would like everybody to stand attention for our great leader,
- 48:40Murphy, Jack. You need some action music.
- 48:43Thank you. Buttons push her off.
- 48:45Buttons gently into a Newt. Yeah, I was like I.
- 48:48Was like, oh, I better get in there, I'm not going to be.
- 48:51I like the. Confidence.
- 48:52Level. Of where our space station's
- 48:55going to end up. And we can build another one.
- 49:01Well, what I you know, to your question, what is it where I end
- 49:05up in the verse when it. Releases How do you live in Star
- 49:07Citizen? One point O because it's coming.
- 49:13I mean, the big obviously the org, right, we're going to have,
- 49:18we're going to have a space station org base or whatever.
- 49:24So, and I feel like once we get all the org tools and all the
- 49:29stuff that we've seen it with the org stuff that's coming, I'm
- 49:33going to be doing that like full time and I'll enjoy it.
- 49:37It'll be neat and it'll be, it'll be so good to finally be
- 49:40able to be like, hey, industry, we we're running low.
- 49:44We need this. And like the logistics of that,
- 49:47just keeping everything running kind of like in Dune, like now,
- 49:52you know, taking over, paying the taxes after Wicket was
- 49:56taking care of it for a month. Now Torch has been passed to me
- 49:59to take care of the base. It's it could be, it sounds like
- 50:03it's going to be exciting. I mean, that's just one aspect
- 50:06of it. I mean, I also, and like
- 50:08everybody here I'm sure is going to have their little camp out
- 50:11somewhere and being able to travel and visit everybody's
- 50:15little hideout. You know what I think is
- 50:18different? Really neat.
- 50:20Murph from the Dune base to the possible Star Citizen base is in
- 50:24the Dune base. We're not really like farming
- 50:26anything. Like we're not really like
- 50:29harvesting anything at that base.
- 50:31We're like producing things. But you know what I mean?
- 50:34There's no farm, there's no harvestables.
- 50:36There's nothing to like tend to. Yeah.
- 50:41So I feel like they. Had talked about farming before.
- 50:43I remember in a sitcom years ago they talked about it.
- 50:46Yeah. Well, they had that one ship
- 50:48that was like the little like half spheres or something that
- 50:52they were like like a farm ship or something.
- 50:54And. Endeavor has farming mod?
- 50:57Well, farming modules. Yeah, Endeavor, it's the.
- 51:01I remember. Evening ship.
- 51:03Chris Roberts in some video I saw he was making jokes about
- 51:07who knew you guys love farming so much.
- 51:12Is that the one with the large glass domes?
- 51:17Oh no, those aren't farms. Those are those are hobby game
- 51:20arenas of. Course.
- 51:23Yeah. So you can do a lot of.
- 51:26Them at once. To watch as many people.
- 51:30Hey, they have the gameplay at the same time.
- 51:34Yeah, yeah. It wouldn't wouldn't cost them
- 51:35too much more to get that up and running.
- 51:39I actually wouldn't mind. With with AI.
- 51:42Yeah, of course. When when it OK.
- 51:45Is CIG using AI? Are they coding with it at this
- 51:51point? If they were, could we tell?
- 51:56Probably not. No way.
- 51:57And in which ways? I mean, I, I've heard, you know,
- 51:59from people who do coding where they're like, you should at this
- 52:05point, like not for doing it entirely, but like being like,
- 52:08hey, you know, what's the easiest way for me to do this?
- 52:11Like, they're certainly using it like that, I'm sure.
- 52:14I mean think about it, it's like you either have to write
- 52:16something like actually type something out, or be like hey
- 52:21give me the most basic way to do this, like things that have been
- 52:23done 100,000 times, why not do it?
- 52:26If it fixes their elevators in the trains.
- 52:30That's that's how it happened. I mean, yeah, all right.
- 52:35I'm, I'm not a not a huge fan of putting anything in the hands of
- 52:39AI, but if it if it does things like that, all right, like, OK,
- 52:46if it can be useful as a tool and if it can actually speed up
- 52:48the game that's already a decade behind schedule.
- 52:51Yeah. All right.
- 52:53Thanks, I should just throw it out like that.
- 52:56I mean it, it is the year 2025. I can look back at my
- 53:01Kickstarter account and look when they said the original
- 53:05projection projected release date was and it was like 2014.
- 53:13Hey, Anubis. Realistically, if in the coding
- 53:18world right now, you're developer, if you're doing
- 53:21anything in coding, if you're not using AI, you're just going
- 53:25to get left behind it. You cannot do it as fast, you
- 53:31know, as other people with AI and they still need to do need
- 53:35to know what they're doing. It's just that those things that
- 53:38you, you can't know everything. You can't remember everything,
- 53:41and all the things you need to reference are easier to just
- 53:44reference through there and to have them write a bunch of it
- 53:47for you real quick. You clean it up, boom, we're
- 53:50ready to go. That accelerates things from six
- 53:53months to a week, and you're just going to get left.
- 53:58Behind maybe this is how we're getting base building by the end
- 54:00of the year, Am I right folks? That's right, we can hope.
- 54:05Base building a tech preview and throws a dart 3 weeks.
- 54:10Oh man, I hope so. I hope.
- 54:12So base building on Nick's. Base building on Nick's.
- 54:16If they deliver base building, I will, uncharacteristically for
- 54:19myself, throw money at them. Wow, that is uncharacteristic.
- 54:24I I had to really push you to spend money a couple years ago,
- 54:28Duke. It's true.
- 54:30Yeah, yeah. Now, Hobo, I have a question.
- 54:33Because you're maybe the earliest backer here, the
- 54:38earliest jabroni who gave money. Yeah.
- 54:42You, you went in 2012, right? Kickstarter.
- 54:46Someone told me that there was some Kickstarter in like 2006
- 54:53that they paid for in like 2006. That CIG paid for.
- 55:00Well, that Chris, it was like Chris Roberts thing.
- 55:03The Chris. Roberts, Kickstarter.
- 55:06For what? For Star Citizen.
- 55:09And they like got something. And I was like, I think that's
- 55:11too early. That's bogus.
- 55:13That's too. Yeah, 2006.
- 55:18No, he was still making movies I think back then.
- 55:22Films. Films.
- 55:23Sorry. Films.
- 55:24Yeah. Thank.
- 55:26You isn't OK cinema. Have you seen Wing Commander?
- 55:34Oh, like 5 times. I have not actually watched it.
- 55:38Oh, it's, it's all right. It's fun.
- 55:40It's fun, It's fun. Don't think too much, just watch
- 55:42the explosions. Full Full disclosure, I did not
- 55:46really know anything about Wing Commander or any of Chris
- 55:52Roberts's previous projects before backing back in 2012.
- 55:57He just got you at the PowerPoints, huh?
- 55:59Yeah, yeah. Ace game that was big.
- 56:05I didn't even have a computer that could run it at the time.
- 56:08Like even back then, like hardware wise, I did not have a
- 56:13machine that could could run it. I think I was still on a MacBook
- 56:16back then. But yeah, I know.
- 56:20Broccoli you backed back then, right?
- 56:24Early 2015. OK, that's ten years ago, Yeah.
- 56:32I wasn't really. Yeah, I had just gotten a job at
- 56:35a bar as a bar back and I decided to build a computer with
- 56:41that new found money I had and I just moved in with my
- 56:45girlfriend. Got back in 2013.
- 56:52Thank really. Yeah, and didn't didn't touch it
- 56:55for another 5. Years since then, I've had many
- 56:59jobs, gotten married, had kids, bought a house.
- 57:04Yeah, I was going to say since moving in with my girlfriend, I
- 57:06now married her and have been married for five years.
- 57:12I'm just saying, Chris Roberts, I, I created Life, OK?
- 57:18That's the beauty about Star Citizen, right?
- 57:20Everyone else gets older. Star Citizen stays the.
- 57:22Same, the same. All right, all right, all right.
- 57:27But yeah, no really that that man should have been in prison
- 57:30all. Right, so, so look at the thing,
- 57:34the things we're doing in in in the verse in in Star Citizen.
- 57:37One point O Thank you all for asking, by the way.
- 57:44You know, I've done thirty of these shows and not one of you
- 57:48has ever asked me the question. Well, let's not break the
- 57:54streak. I don't want to.
- 57:55I don't want a backseat for show, you know?
- 57:57Yep. All right.
- 58:00Well, we. Can't do this.
- 58:02You actually have We don't want to break condition.
- 58:04We don't want to. I thought you.
- 58:05Did the show because you had no you?
- 58:11He's been doing these shows just to like get, ignore it, just
- 58:15absorb knowledge. Just to get things, he's like,
- 58:18Oh yeah, that's a good idea, OK. He is the Joe Rogan of Star
- 58:22Citizen. I've tried.
- 58:25Look, look, man, you know that's not funny.
- 58:28That's not funny just because you know I'm.
- 58:31Just because his head's at T and he's buff.
- 58:35You know. It's been a DMT.
- 58:37Trying to play psychedelic. So it's it's been a DMT fever,
- 58:41fever dream all long, hasn't it? All.
- 58:45Right, so we get this vandal some DMT and we're going to see
- 58:48how he acts. So let's do this, let's do this.
- 58:53Let's let's, let's, let's say, well, you know, we'll derail it
- 58:58one more time by actually. Should we all ask?
- 59:00Should we do it? Should we do it at once?
- 59:02All ask at once. Yeah, let's all ask it at once.
- 59:11All right, All right, on the count of of 141312.
- 59:17All right, 3/1. What are you going?
- 59:21To do. One point O live in verse.
- 59:25All right, that was pretty discordant.
- 59:26That was good. Yeah, I live in verse.
- 59:28One point OI am with good now. Yes.
- 59:33Thanks guys. God damn it.
- 59:36I mean we. Leave.
- 59:37I think he went to the bathroom. I think I heard something.
- 59:39Flushing. I think he's gone.
- 59:40Someone flushing. He he's got nothing prepared.
- 59:42He really was hoping you wouldn't ask him.
- 59:44Yeah, he's scrambling right now. Got to take that.
- 59:48Because you can't say anything that we've already said
- 59:50otherwise, you know? What's the so unoriginal?
- 59:54Yeah, he's just copying us. Thank you guys, I drugs.
- 1:00:03Probably. Drugs.
- 1:00:05Question mark drugs or making them, taking them, selling them.
- 1:00:12I know game have drugs. Yes, game have drugs.
- 1:00:16And drugs fun and. Nodding, nodding.
- 1:00:22Death impossible, therefore drugs no downside.
- 1:00:30Why would you talk like Peter on Rolling Collins Radio?
- 1:00:32Do not explain. Nothing good.
- 1:00:35Can happen only go to. See him?
- 1:00:37Only good just. You know.
- 1:00:41Wandering around Starlight Service station wanting to like,
- 1:00:46hey, you know, you got an extra 50 AUC.
- 1:00:50No, no, I wouldn't beg. I wouldn't beg.
- 1:00:52I wouldn't beg. I can.
- 1:00:53I got money, but it to to be honest, I haven't like made any
- 1:00:56money in maybe the last year. I just keep I had I made like 2
- 1:01:01mil and I just keep coasting, which honestly, if I were there
- 1:01:05in real life wouldn't be so bad. Oh, you can hear that?
- 1:01:08Yeah, I'll, I'll have. To yeah, they heard you talking
- 1:01:10about drugs. Sorry, thanks.
- 1:01:15For coming if you'd like to donate to Jar Jar's defense
- 1:01:18fund. You guys, I gotta, I gotta go.
- 1:01:23Call Legal Eagle. Those boys.
- 1:01:26Oh man. They.
- 1:01:27Did they did come? For him.
- 1:01:28Oh. There's an amber.
- 1:01:33Alert and it's keying on his department.
- 1:01:35There goes all of our sponsorships.
- 1:01:39Well as as the as today's Co host, I will exercise the the
- 1:01:47rule of secession and I have now become the host.
- 1:01:50Paul Hale. And and they use emergency time
- 1:01:53did. This couch just get nicer.
- 1:01:54I have now sworn myself in. Let's stick.
- 1:01:57It did. It did I?
- 1:02:00Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:02:02You know, it turns out you could just clean them.
- 1:02:06Yeah, just how could you get your fucking?
- 1:02:08Grubby hands off my grubby ass couch.
- 1:02:11No, it's sticky again. Coup failed.
- 1:02:14My coup failed. How many acids?
- 1:02:16Is that have? Yeah, so I'm very I'm very
- 1:02:19excited to see you all this October.
- 1:02:21I just want to let you all know knew, but she won't be there.
- 1:02:27Wiki. You won't be there either.
- 1:02:29Well, too bad. Everyone else will be there and
- 1:02:32I'm excited to see you all and and and and get drunk.
- 1:02:36I'm excited to watch the Internet with you and, and, and
- 1:02:44listen to the Internet with you And there it goes and debate
- 1:02:48whether these things happen. My my biggest fear is that
- 1:02:52they'll drop a patch when we're all there, you know?
- 1:02:56And you'll all have to come across the streets to my place
- 1:03:00and. We'll have to huddle around
- 1:03:02Hobo's computer. You can drink my alcohol.
- 1:03:05I need people to. Drink it.
- 1:03:07Drugs. You can, yes.
- 1:03:11Alcohol is a drug. Well done.
- 1:03:14All right. Oh man, I've got a vision of of
- 1:03:19of Jar jar bringing over like, oh, this is slam, but it's just
- 1:03:23like cocaine. That's a good.
- 1:03:25Name for cocaine, by the way. I've got a made for.
- 1:03:27The. Community.
- 1:03:28Sticker I can put on it. See that's just slam.
- 1:03:30That's that's that's an end game.
- 1:03:34That's how he's made for a community Buttons.
- 1:03:36Fuck. At at what point does YouTube
- 1:03:38start like listening and being like you can't say that stuff?
- 1:03:43No, I. Think well past.
- 1:03:45That, yeah, do. They OK Spotify doesn't care
- 1:03:48either right? I mean, they host Joe Rogan.
- 1:03:52Spotify don't. Yeah.
- 1:03:56Well, this is this has been open Comms Radio, your Star Citizen
- 1:04:00call in show next week. Next week.
- 1:04:05We're not going to have a show. Yeah, next.
- 1:04:08Week if we're back on the air if.
- 1:04:10We're back on the air by the end of this episode, just like all
- 1:04:13my other episodes, all our other episodes.
- 1:04:17I like to ask everybody a question.
- 1:04:19And that question is, we're going to start with Murphy Jack.
- 1:04:21Murphy Jack, Is there anything you'd like to say to Chris
- 1:04:24Roberts, CIG, other people on the Internet?
- 1:04:29No looking forward to this as I can.
- 1:04:31That's it. Me too.
- 1:04:34Me too wiki. Is there anything you like?
- 1:04:36Say CIG. Chris Roberts is the people on
- 1:04:37the Internet. All right.
- 1:04:44Thank you, Wicket. Broccoli Robb, Is there anything
- 1:04:46you'd like to say to CAG Chris Roberts for the people on the
- 1:04:48Internet? Release Nix as a little preview
- 1:04:53guy and I don't know, get some, get some game play in because
- 1:04:57the ships and locations don't matter about.
- 1:05:02You know, if they don't, if they don't release Nix you, you and
- 1:05:06hobo, we're going to have to do something.
- 1:05:08You're going to have to repent somehow because you got mihides.
- 1:05:12This is no. I think they're going to,
- 1:05:13they're going to announce Knicks.
- 1:05:16I don't think that they're going to.
- 1:05:18I don't think Knicks is going to be playable for everyone in on
- 1:05:22October 12th. I wasn't being a careful
- 1:05:25listener. But the 13th?
- 1:05:2913th, 100%. Yeah, exactly.
- 1:05:34Well, hobo A. Good, I can see it happen.
- 1:05:40I went down and then milk. That for a couple of weeks to
- 1:05:43get maximum. Oh yeah, I'll milk it for.
- 1:05:48For the people who buy the digital goodies package.
- 1:05:55I'm not going to buy that Cosmic hub.
- 1:05:57Anything you want to say is CIG, Chris Roberts, or the people on
- 1:05:59the Internet. Shadow drop Nixon base boating
- 1:06:04please. Thanks.
- 1:06:05Cool. I thought shadow drop was when
- 1:06:08you took a dump behind the bushes.
- 1:06:14Duke. Anything you want to say to CIG?
- 1:06:15Chris Roberts of the People on the Internet.
- 1:06:19Windows. More windows please on my
- 1:06:22spaceships so I can see space in my space game.
- 1:06:25More Windows. You got a window in the Apollo.
- 1:06:30I mean, I, I didn't, I, I don't have an Apollo, but I did see
- 1:06:33that and I was thrilled. I was like, fucking finally just
- 1:06:37put windows Windows. There's so, so many of these.
- 1:06:42I got the start the freaking star Lancer Max, right?
- 1:06:46It's it's not the Max because if it was, if it was to the Max,
- 1:06:49there would be more windows. That's it.
- 1:06:55You need the. The wax The Star Lancer.
- 1:06:58The Star Lancer win. Yes, win 9595%.
- 1:07:08Yeah, it's the only things that have good windows are, you know,
- 1:07:11the the yachts which which I get, I'm glad that they didn't
- 1:07:15miss that cue that yachts should have good visuals, right?
- 1:07:20Good viewing, but everyone else wants that too.
- 1:07:24And just little windows. It just, you know, if you've got
- 1:07:27a table in the the mess hall, and that mess hall table is
- 1:07:31right up against the side of the ship, put a frickin window
- 1:07:34there. That's it, That's all I'm
- 1:07:37saying. Even even then, the Stromo had
- 1:07:39windows. Windows had that.
- 1:07:44Yeah, but what? What happens when you roll up
- 1:07:46next to a Type O star? It's got it's like sunglasses.
- 1:07:52Yeah, I mean we have, we have, we have self tilt tinting
- 1:07:56sunglasses now it's. Vandual Technology.
- 1:07:59So soon after we get night vision we'll get some self
- 1:08:03tinting windows. It's it's been 1000 years and
- 1:08:08there's no night vision invented yet so.
- 1:08:11I think everything I'm not excited for Citizen.
- 1:08:14Common these people we. Don't have wipers.
- 1:08:16We still don't fuck off. Sun visor.
- 1:08:20That's true. All right, CIG, get on the night
- 1:08:23vision, please. Well, Lord Nubis, we did it.
- 1:08:31You didn't derail the conversation once.
- 1:08:33We did. I'm like somebody.
- 1:08:39Listen, guests, all right? Lord Anubis did a great job, OK?
