- 0:33Speaker 2: Hey, good afternoon, and welcome to another episode of Wellness
- 0:36Speaker 2: and Censored with Patty G. I'm excited to be here
- 0:40Speaker 2: as your host of this next hour and to talk
- 0:43Speaker 2: to you about everything focusing on mental wellness, mental health, mind, body, spirit,
- 0:48Speaker 2: and just lots of great stuff to share. We're going
- 0:51Speaker 2: to take some time today and really talk about things
- 0:55Speaker 2: to hopefully get your spirits up, get you lifted, maybe
- 0:59Speaker 2: find new ways to celebrate the coming days in maybe
- 1:03Speaker 2: a new way. A lot of folks, I think sometimes
- 1:06Speaker 2: struggle getting caught up in the hustle and bustle, and
- 1:09Speaker 2: it's not always a good or a happy time for
- 1:11Speaker 2: a lot of folks. And so how can we make
- 1:13Speaker 2: those next couple of days coming into the brand new
- 1:16Speaker 2: year more happy and joyful? And I would be remiss
- 1:20Speaker 2: if I didn't bring on my dear friend Matt Youngblood,
- 1:23Speaker 2: who is an avid podcaster on X I want to
- 1:26Speaker 2: welcome that to join us and remind everybody, you know,
- 1:30Speaker 2: the whole spirit of this show.
- 1:32Speaker 3: Good to see you, Matt, Good to see you, Patty,
- 1:34Speaker 3: Thanks again for having me back.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Absolutely and you know, the spirit of this show and
- 1:39Speaker 2: the whole beginnings of Wellness and Censored is because we
- 1:42Speaker 2: wanted to create a way to get timely information out
- 1:45Speaker 2: to you that you're not always going to see on
- 1:46Speaker 2: the mainstream media. And although I think they do try
- 1:50Speaker 2: to put a lot of positive things out and you're
- 1:52Speaker 2: going to hear a lot of good stories hopefully over
- 1:54Speaker 2: the next coming days and weeks that are out there
- 1:56Speaker 2: for everybody. I just want folks to know that there's
- 2:00Speaker 2: people like us behind the scenes trying to be on
- 2:02Speaker 2: the scenes of just spreading not just good cheer, but
- 2:06Speaker 2: the real value and meaning behind the little guys. We're
- 2:10Speaker 2: out here on the airwaves and we are just trying
- 2:13Speaker 2: to have good conversation, good education, and ways for you
- 2:17Speaker 2: to feel like you can tune in and reach somebody.
- 2:20Speaker 2: You know, not some big TV screen syndicate or some
- 2:23Speaker 2: big news radio. But we're here for everybody who tunes
- 2:27Speaker 2: into podcast and so a lot of what we've been doing,
- 2:31Speaker 2: it's been our third season on the air, we talk
- 2:33Speaker 2: about things related to your mental health, your physical health,
- 2:37Speaker 2: and ways to really optimize. And so Matt, I'm just
- 2:40Speaker 2: excited we're going to spend this episode talking about different
- 2:44Speaker 2: things to try to bring joy and happiness and hope
- 2:46Speaker 2: and just different things that you know, we might come
- 2:49Speaker 2: across with people and I might share some stories. Matt
- 2:51Speaker 2: may share some stories of things that he's come across
- 2:54Speaker 2: on his podcast, and so I just want to welcome
- 2:56Speaker 2: you all to just a nice, fun and relaxing episode
- 3:00Speaker 2: to bring up a cup of coffee or something to drink,
- 3:03Speaker 2: and if you decide you want to join in, feel
- 3:05Speaker 2: free to text us and we can answer your questions.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Youre live, So again, welcome Matt. It's great to see you,
- 3:11Speaker 2: and I hope you are as excited as I am
- 3:15Speaker 2: to bring in yet another new year and end our
- 3:19Speaker 2: year with a wonderful Christmas blessing. So tell us a
- 3:21Speaker 2: little bit about about how you're doing and how you're
- 3:24Speaker 2: feeling and anything you want to kick us off with.
- 3:26Speaker 3: We're doing great, We've got it's been it's been a
- 3:30Speaker 3: great year. It's been really you know, this was the
- 3:34Speaker 3: first time I've really been hosting Xpasis from January to
- 3:39Speaker 3: December on a weekly basis. We've had a lot of
- 3:43Speaker 3: great guests, a lot of great conversations ranging from ranging
- 3:48Speaker 3: from politics to health. Then you know, it's a pleasure
- 3:51Speaker 3: to say that Patty has been on quite a few
- 3:54Speaker 3: of those and so so it's really been a heck
- 3:58Speaker 3: of a year. And twenty six is uh is just
- 4:03Speaker 3: a new beginning and uh and and I'm really looking
- 4:06Speaker 3: forward to what the new year brings. It's it's exciting,
- 4:10Speaker 3: you know, for some it can be a time to
- 4:11Speaker 3: start over for something can be there's always don't ever
- 4:17Speaker 3: be afraid to uh to do just that, to uh
- 4:20Speaker 3: start over or to uh start something new, a new hobby.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Maybe you're maybe you're gonna try to try to read
- 4:27Speaker 3: the Bible throughout the year, Maybe gonna maybe gonna read
- 4:31Speaker 3: the Bible in a year. I know January is usually
- 4:33Speaker 3: a time where people will start doing that. But just enjoy,
- 4:37Speaker 3: just enjoy the season though, enjoy the love, the hope,
- 4:41Speaker 3: the joy and the peace that h that we that
- 4:44Speaker 3: is acknowledged during the advent for those to celebrate it,
- 4:46Speaker 3: because I know not everyone does, but for those who
- 4:49Speaker 3: acknowledge that, I hope Uh, hope hopefully today we can
- 4:55Speaker 3: try to find those things and just take a step
- 4:58Speaker 3: back from h from the news for a moment.
- 5:02Speaker 2: I agree, you know, I think that's the thing that
- 5:05Speaker 2: we get caught up into the holiday shopping, We get
- 5:07Speaker 2: caught up into the calendar of days as we approach
- 5:11Speaker 2: I've started folks out both in some of the groups
- 5:14Speaker 2: that I work with, and I've shared it with folks
- 5:15Speaker 2: here just about a week or so ago. But you know,
- 5:17Speaker 2: it's kind of like the twelve Days of Christmas, but
- 5:19Speaker 2: really about the twelve days to a new beginning, the
- 5:23Speaker 2: twelve days to giving thanks, the twelve days to really
- 5:28Speaker 2: starting into something that maybe something that you've always wanted
- 5:32Speaker 2: to do, you've never done. It's a good time for change,
- 5:36Speaker 2: and the way to change is to really look back
- 5:40Speaker 2: and reflect. So it's kind of a way as we
- 5:43Speaker 2: celebrate what is it that you can celebrate for yourselves
- 5:47Speaker 2: for this year? You know, we celebrate the birth of
- 5:50Speaker 2: our Lord, we celebrate time together with family, and yet
- 5:55Speaker 2: there are so many of you out there that don't
- 5:58Speaker 2: feel that desire to celebrate. And I want that to
- 6:01Speaker 2: be the message that Matt and I bring to all
- 6:03Speaker 2: of you today. Is what can you celebrate? How about
- 6:06Speaker 2: looking back and celebrating You've had hope this year, You've
- 6:11Speaker 2: had wellness this year. Maybe you've overcome a sickness this year.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Maybe you made it through the year, and what can
- 6:22Speaker 2: you look forward to in starting fresh in twenty twenty six.
- 6:28Speaker 2: I think a lots to be said for gratitude and
- 6:30Speaker 2: a lot that we often just don't even stop and reflect.
- 6:33Speaker 2: And I think again for what Matt and I want
- 6:36Speaker 2: to talk and share with you all today. You know,
- 6:38Speaker 2: this can be the year where you just stop and
- 6:41Speaker 2: look back and celebrate. You celebrate your wellness, celebrate your beginnings.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Some people have had almost a year of sobriety, A
- 6:51Speaker 2: few patients that I'm working with, some people have had
- 6:54Speaker 2: all for that, Yeah, it's incredible. Some people have just
- 6:59Speaker 2: overcome having had a surgery and they weren't sure going
- 7:02Speaker 2: in if they were going to make it out. So
- 7:04Speaker 2: let's celebrate you. You've made it through the surgery. Absolutely,
- 7:08Speaker 2: praise God for all of that. Maybe it's the decision
- 7:13Speaker 2: to either stay where you are or to move in
- 7:15Speaker 2: a different direction. So I really want you to put
- 7:19Speaker 2: that out as what you are celebrating this year. You know,
- 7:23Speaker 2: I'd love to invite folks to just to become more involved,
- 7:27Speaker 2: to learn more about your spirituality. But in the meantime
- 7:31Speaker 2: of learning about what is it, what are your questions,
- 7:34Speaker 2: what are the things that you just can't figure out,
- 7:37Speaker 2: let's do a little celebration of what you have done,
- 7:41Speaker 2: what you've become, what you've overcome, and just celebrate that
- 7:45Speaker 2: you're able to even be here with us today and
- 7:48Speaker 2: consider the possibilities. Find something that you can celebrate. It
- 7:52Speaker 2: may even be you got a new puppy or you've
- 7:55Speaker 2: paid off a bill. What we want to take those
- 7:58Speaker 2: moments are really reflect write down if you haven't done journaling.
- 8:04Speaker 2: I always tell folks, Matt, it's so important to write
- 8:07Speaker 2: your thoughts down. And we can talk a little bit
- 8:09Speaker 2: about that too. But we often get caught up in
- 8:12Speaker 2: the negative, and it's so easy to say what we
- 8:15Speaker 2: don't have. But Matt, what is it that you do
- 8:18Speaker 2: that you get caught up and you do to positives
- 8:20Speaker 2: and what gives you ideas going forward and what things
- 8:23Speaker 2: would you like to to share with people on positive
- 8:27Speaker 2: and joy and reflection?
- 8:30Speaker 3: Well, you know, I think for me and for you too,
- 8:34Speaker 3: because we're both sort of in this line of work,
- 8:36Speaker 3: albeit different lanes of it. But we're both sort of
- 8:40Speaker 3: we're both in the media space and as a media
- 8:43Speaker 3: person to the extent that I even am, I don't
- 8:45Speaker 3: really I don't like to. It's like I don't like
- 8:49Speaker 3: to call myself an independent journalist, but I have been
- 8:51Speaker 3: called that. But anyway, that's okay. When you're in the
- 8:57Speaker 3: when you're in this space, no pun intended, it's easy
- 9:02Speaker 3: to get caught up in in in a in all
- 9:05Speaker 3: the negative because there's even with President Trump in office
- 9:10Speaker 3: as one example, or or even even with all the accomplishments,
- 9:14Speaker 3: it's it's so easy to particularly on X because you
- 9:19Speaker 3: know the way the algorithm works is it is certain things.
- 9:22Speaker 3: There are certain things, whether it's clickmait or whatever, that
- 9:26Speaker 3: drive content. And if we're not careful, we can get
- 9:32Speaker 3: we can get swept up in that and you fun
- 9:36Speaker 3: and there's all this other there's all this stuff going
- 9:38Speaker 3: on around you. There's all this other stuff being done,
- 9:41Speaker 3: but you're fixated on this one issue because you're you're
- 9:47Speaker 3: not you're not getting what you want. Now. Granted, there
- 9:50Speaker 3: is a difference between between between taking yes for an
- 9:56Speaker 3: answer and so and then turning around and saying, but that,
- 9:59Speaker 3: but this is an enough that's actually a healthy thing
- 10:03Speaker 3: to do. But you but what you can't do is
- 10:07Speaker 3: is is is good to one extreme or the other?
- 10:11Speaker 3: You can't like you you have to find a way
- 10:13Speaker 3: to balance. So you have to find a way to
- 10:15Speaker 3: balance those two extremes. So, and that's just speaking for
- 10:19Speaker 3: me as as a media person that it's easy to
- 10:22Speaker 3: get caught up in the negatives or the things were,
- 10:25Speaker 3: the things we're not seeing results on. I don't have
- 10:28Speaker 3: I don't have to say anything specifically because I know
- 10:30Speaker 3: if you're within the side of my voice, some things
- 10:32Speaker 3: already came to mind. So if but if that, if
- 10:36Speaker 3: that's you though, if you're in that camp, though, I
- 10:39Speaker 3: would encourage you to to look to take a step back,
- 10:43Speaker 3: like I said at the beginning, take a step back
- 10:46Speaker 3: and look around you and ask yourself, you know, things like,
- 10:50Speaker 3: for instance, have you taken anything for granted? You know?
- 10:55Speaker 3: And I'm reminded of a conversation I had with a
- 10:58Speaker 3: church member who wants told me that of a church
- 11:01Speaker 3: sign he saw, and it said, have you thanked God today?
- 11:05Speaker 3: Have you thanked God today for all that He's given you?
- 11:11Speaker 3: For all that you have for the show, perhaps for Patty,
- 11:15Speaker 3: perhaps now doctor Patty, by the way, what have you
- 11:22Speaker 3: have you stopped and, like Patty said, had had a
- 11:25Speaker 3: little gratitude for the for the things you do have.
- 11:29Speaker 3: So I think that I think that's part of it.
- 11:33Speaker 3: I think gratitude is a big part of it. And
- 11:36Speaker 3: also just staying grounded and just stay staying focused on
- 11:42Speaker 3: doing what doing what it is that you do, whatever
- 11:45Speaker 3: that may be, and don't get caught in the hype
- 11:47Speaker 3: of other things particular and in the case of my
- 11:51Speaker 3: line of work, if you will, uh, it's it's whatever's trending,
- 11:56Speaker 3: whatever is. It's tempting to hop on that bandwagon and
- 11:58Speaker 3: run with it. I don't do that. Yeah, I do
- 12:02Speaker 3: my own thing. I tell people all the time. I
- 12:04Speaker 3: am my own independent broadcaster. I don't let I try
- 12:07Speaker 3: not to let other people tell me what to and
- 12:09Speaker 3: to not talk about. So speaking for me, that's sort
- 12:12Speaker 3: of how one of the traps that you can fall
- 12:16Speaker 3: into doing this, but also one of the ways to
- 12:20Speaker 3: avoid it. You have to have a sense of perspective
- 12:23Speaker 3: of not only yourself, but of the work that you
- 12:27Speaker 3: do and everything around you.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Oh, I like that I mean, and you mentioned a
- 12:30Speaker 2: couple of really important key points, you know, staying grounded
- 12:34Speaker 2: in the moment and not getting caught up with the
- 12:37Speaker 2: buzz the media. And I often tell patients this, you know,
- 12:41Speaker 2: while we want to stay in the know, plugging into
- 12:44Speaker 2: the news can be very unsettling, and really try to
- 12:48Speaker 2: create and cultivate your day where you can in between
- 12:53Speaker 2: what you have to do, to do things that nurture you.
- 12:57Speaker 2: If you can step outside, if you can get a
- 13:01Speaker 2: good book, if you could take a hot bath, if
- 13:04Speaker 2: you can really smell the smells around you. It's those
- 13:08Speaker 2: kinds of things that you really do need to settle
- 13:11Speaker 2: in with a cup of tea and breathe and pause
- 13:15Speaker 2: and get yourself away from some of the craziness. Do
- 13:20Speaker 2: you need to go gift shopping? Of course, everybody's looking
- 13:22Speaker 2: to get this and that, but not everybody again, like
- 13:26Speaker 2: Matt and I were saying, is really in the moment
- 13:29Speaker 2: to celebrate. So if you're not in that moment to celebrate,
- 13:32Speaker 2: or if you are, take a moment to pause. And
- 13:34Speaker 2: if you're not out in that moment to celebrate, because
- 13:38Speaker 2: let's just say, your cup is weighing heavy. This year
- 13:41Speaker 2: of things that have not gone the way we wanted
- 13:44Speaker 2: them to. How do you get out of that to
- 13:47Speaker 2: at least give a little balance, And like we were just
- 13:50Speaker 2: talking about finding moments to just nurture yourself, and I do.
- 13:54Speaker 2: I often talk about journaling, writing your thoughts down, because
- 13:57Speaker 2: we get so caught up in ourselves we don't know
- 14:00Speaker 2: how to get ourselves out of the cobweb of stress
- 14:02Speaker 2: and anxiety. And ways to do that are to pause.
- 14:07Speaker 2: If you're in your car, take a moment and pause.
- 14:11Speaker 2: If you're home, carve out ten or fifteen minutes, be
- 14:15Speaker 2: in a space in your place that feels nurturing. Wrap
- 14:19Speaker 2: yourself in a warm blanket, Grab something you enjoy to drink,
- 14:22Speaker 2: get out a pen, start a notebook, and start writing
- 14:27Speaker 2: down things that you might like to change in the
- 14:30Speaker 2: coming year. Write down things that you are actually grateful for.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Write down things that you can say do give you
- 14:39Speaker 2: joy and make you happy. Because we often are half empty,
- 14:44Speaker 2: we have to fill our cup to be more half full.
- 14:48Speaker 2: And so doing some of those things I think can
- 14:50Speaker 2: be very helpful if you're on a spiritual journey. You know,
- 14:54Speaker 2: I have a favorite pastor of mine often said the
- 14:57Speaker 2: church gets full for CEO around this time of year,
- 15:02Speaker 2: and he calls them CEOs because it's Christmas and Easter
- 15:06Speaker 2: only ya.
- 15:10Speaker 3: The beginning right.
- 15:12Speaker 2: One year, it was Easter Sunday and we were crowded.
- 15:16Speaker 2: We actually did our church in an outdoor, live location,
- 15:19Speaker 2: and it was such a critical journey. I had attended church.
- 15:23Speaker 2: I enjoyed going to church. I felt that I was
- 15:25Speaker 2: spirit filled. However, that particular year, that Easter Sunday, it
- 15:30Speaker 2: didn't matter whether there were one or one thousand people around.
- 15:34Speaker 2: I got a message. That message was so profound to
- 15:37Speaker 2: me that I can still speak to it today. And
- 15:40Speaker 2: one of the songs that they played was from Tim McGraw,
- 15:45Speaker 2: Live Like You Were Dying.
- 15:47Speaker 3: And I like that.
- 15:49Speaker 2: Because whether it's Easter or Christmas, the concept of living
- 15:54Speaker 2: life to the fullest. We always live and then we
- 15:56Speaker 2: have these regrets. I should have spent more time, I
- 16:00Speaker 2: should have done this, I could have done that? What
- 16:03Speaker 2: if only? And I love that song as sad as
- 16:07Speaker 2: it was about Tim McGraw and his dad live live,
- 16:12Speaker 2: not necessarily live like you're dying, but live Are you
- 16:16Speaker 2: all really living? Think about that? And where can we
- 16:21Speaker 2: find joy when we take a breath and go I'm alive.
- 16:25Speaker 2: I can't worry about the bills. I can't worry about
- 16:28Speaker 2: the job, I can't worry about the people don't like me.
- 16:31Speaker 2: I can't let those things weigh me down. I'm just
- 16:34Speaker 2: going to live, and maybe in living you start to
- 16:38Speaker 2: find reasons to have hope. So that's kind of one
- 16:41Speaker 2: of the things I wanted to share with everybody today.
- 16:43Speaker 2: But I don't know, what do you think, Matt? What
- 16:46Speaker 2: else can we tell people?
- 16:47Speaker 3: Do you know you mentioned anxiety earlier. I think you'll
- 16:52Speaker 3: really I think you will really resonate with this. There's
- 16:55Speaker 3: a line in Leana Crawford song Psalm twenty three Still Waters.
- 17:03Speaker 3: It says anxiety hates Psalm twenty three, and I thought, why, well, well,
- 17:09Speaker 3: if you go and look at what Psalm twenty three says.
- 17:12Speaker 3: It says in part that the look the Lord is
- 17:16Speaker 3: my shepherd. I shall not want. I mean what meaning
- 17:20Speaker 3: you you will, you will know, you will have you,
- 17:23Speaker 3: you have all you need. Some translations say that and
- 17:27Speaker 3: so and so. It's you are because because going back
- 17:30Speaker 3: to what you said earlier about about filling up your cup,
- 17:34Speaker 3: you know God, you know, that's that's what God does.
- 17:36Speaker 3: He fills our cups until they do run over with him.
- 17:41Speaker 3: But in order to do that, you've got it empty
- 17:44Speaker 3: out all those things that are there, that that that
- 17:48Speaker 3: are taking, that are preventing you from receiving him, and
- 17:53Speaker 3: the hope and the and the love and the joy
- 17:55Speaker 3: and the peace that he came to bring along with
- 17:59Speaker 3: so much more because it is Christmas. It's not Christmas
- 18:04Speaker 3: without Christ, right.
- 18:05Speaker 2: So that's right, Like, what are we celebrating if we're
- 18:09Speaker 2: not celebrating christ birth?
- 18:11Speaker 3: Correct? And not just his birth, but but it was
- 18:16Speaker 3: his birth that made the way for the cross, as
- 18:20Speaker 3: our church choir saying this past Sunday, Uh, he made
- 18:24Speaker 3: away in a manger to make a way to the cross.
- 18:29Speaker 2: And that story is it's so deep and so telling.
- 18:31Speaker 2: And you know, again, I know we have listeners from
- 18:35Speaker 2: all walks of life, and what I think the message
- 18:39Speaker 2: to all of you is, you know, find a deeper meaning,
- 18:42Speaker 2: find a deeper meaning for yourself, find a deeper meaning
- 18:46Speaker 2: of why do you do what you do? Why are
- 18:48Speaker 2: you here? And if you have questions and doubts, you know,
- 18:52Speaker 2: sometimes it starts with something so simple as go to
- 18:56Speaker 2: your Christmas service, go step out into a church and
- 19:00Speaker 2: look for some answers or bring some questions. I do
- 19:04Speaker 2: find that, you know, for the CEOs sometimes the messages
- 19:08Speaker 2: that are given on on Christmas and Easter are very
- 19:12Speaker 2: good to let people know that it's not always about
- 19:15Speaker 2: the the ritualistic things, the churchy things. It's about living
- 19:20Speaker 2: and exploring and learning. There is more to life. And
- 19:24Speaker 2: if you are lost, or if you're sad, if you're grieving,
- 19:28Speaker 2: we want to bring you hope. Hope is what gives life,
- 19:33Speaker 2: and without hope, that's what makes it really hard for people.
- 19:36Speaker 2: And so I just have to believe you have to
- 19:39Speaker 2: have hope. And if you don't have it, Matt and
- 19:42Speaker 2: I are here to help you find it, but only
- 19:45Speaker 2: start your exploration.
- 19:47Speaker 4: My dogs agree, yeah, if only, if only so?
- 19:58Speaker 2: Yeah, so what about hope?
- 19:59Speaker 3: Matt?
- 20:00Speaker 2: Do you think about hope and feeling people's cup? Like
- 20:02Speaker 2: you mentioned feeling the cop? How can we feel the
- 20:04Speaker 2: cop in this time of year, especially if people are grieving.
- 20:08Speaker 3: I apologize for being repetitive. You have to, like I said,
- 20:14Speaker 3: like I said earlier, you have to It's it's okay
- 20:17Speaker 3: to grieve. There's a time for grieving, right. You understand that.
- 20:22Speaker 3: It's like as it being that you you survive the
- 20:25Speaker 3: hospital protocols. I'm sure, I'm sure you still have survivors
- 20:29Speaker 3: guilt because you survived and other and you know darn
- 20:31Speaker 3: well other people didn't. Right, there's a two there's within
- 20:36Speaker 3: that there's a time to to feel that guilt, and
- 20:40Speaker 3: then there's a time to to to say but you know,
- 20:45Speaker 3: but to find purpose and the people when if you
- 20:50Speaker 3: go back to to to the Old Testament and you
- 20:54Speaker 3: go read some some of the prophecies pointing to Jesus,
- 20:57Speaker 3: which by the way, there's over one hundred you those
- 21:01Speaker 3: those prophecies were delivered to them, uh, to those people
- 21:05Speaker 3: hundreds of years before Christ came. My point in bringing
- 21:09Speaker 3: that up is you you should you should have you
- 21:15Speaker 3: should hope in him because you should. You should cling
- 21:18Speaker 3: because he's something you could you can cling to because
- 21:21Speaker 3: he will. Not to get all preachy here forgive me,
- 21:24Speaker 3: but but but you wanted me, You're gonna get me,
- 21:27Speaker 3: all right, so yourself. He can he cannot. Yeah, so
- 21:33Speaker 3: I was making fun of myself at the exact same
- 21:35Speaker 3: time too. But nonetheless, he he can, He can really
- 21:38Speaker 3: really fear, relieve doubt, and bring and bring you joy, love, peace, patience, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness,
- 21:49Speaker 3: self control. But in order in order to receive those things,
- 21:53Speaker 3: as you know, you you have to come to the
- 21:56Speaker 3: end of yourself. You have to reach a point where
- 22:01Speaker 3: you're you're tired of trying to figure this out on
- 22:04Speaker 3: your own. And for some people it might take longer
- 22:07Speaker 3: to uh to get there than others. But we have,
- 22:11Speaker 3: but we have hope that the people of that time
- 22:16Speaker 3: had were given and were spoken to about a hope
- 22:20Speaker 3: of the coming Messiah, of a coming king. Now, if
- 22:24Speaker 3: we fast forward to when Christ did come, uh, we
- 22:27Speaker 3: see we see that the people, as prophesied, they would
- 22:30Speaker 3: rejected him because they because they did not want they
- 22:34Speaker 3: wanted a king who was going to physically deliver them
- 22:37Speaker 3: what they did not want. But what they got instead
- 22:41Speaker 3: was a king who delivered them spiritually, who forgave their sins,
- 22:46Speaker 3: and then and to and to those who accepted him,
- 22:49Speaker 3: who received him, as it says in John's Gospel, he
- 22:52Speaker 3: gave them right to become children of God. But if
- 22:54Speaker 3: you don't, if you don't but if you don't have that,
- 22:56Speaker 3: if you don't have that foundation, if you're not clinging
- 22:59Speaker 3: to that, I don't know. I don't know what to
- 23:02Speaker 3: what to cling to. But but to answer your question,
- 23:05Speaker 3: how do people find hope, Well, you can't. You can't
- 23:07Speaker 3: find hope until you come to the end of the
- 23:11Speaker 3: rope to create a little around there. So you have
- 23:14Speaker 3: to come to the end of yourself at some point,
- 23:17Speaker 3: and then once you do, then you're open to receiving
- 23:21Speaker 3: that hope.
- 23:22Speaker 2: No, that's beautiful, and that's true. You know, most people
- 23:25Speaker 2: when they are at the end of that rope, that's
- 23:27Speaker 2: when they're most open to receive. You know, it's almost
- 23:30Speaker 2: like they wait till well, nothing else is working sometimes
- 23:33Speaker 2: But you know, right, you are a living, breeding human being,
- 23:37Speaker 2: and everyone has a purpose. Whether you know your purpose
- 23:40Speaker 2: yet or not. It's really tough to tell. And I,
- 23:43Speaker 2: you know, I often get a lot of folks that
- 23:45Speaker 2: have stories sometimes of all these things that have happened
- 23:48Speaker 2: in their life or all these things that they've done
- 23:50Speaker 2: in their life, good or bad, and yet they're so empty.
- 23:54Speaker 2: And again it kind of brings us back to this
- 23:57Speaker 2: time of year when all the lights and who ha
- 24:00Speaker 2: and celebration is kind of upon us, and one on
- 24:03Speaker 2: one or two on one people will often tell me
- 24:05Speaker 2: this is such a difficult time for them, or maybe
- 24:09Speaker 2: you've suffered such a loss that you might be angry,
- 24:12Speaker 2: angry and hurting. And you know, a lot of times
- 24:15Speaker 2: we work with folks that have had, you know, suffering
- 24:17Speaker 2: great loss or tragedy or pain of a loved one
- 24:20Speaker 2: and they don't know how to pull themselves forward. Like
- 24:25Speaker 2: Matt said, when you are at that end end of
- 24:28Speaker 2: the rope, there is a journey for you and you
- 24:31Speaker 2: just have to grab hold of that rope and start
- 24:33Speaker 2: going forward, one foot at a time, one step at
- 24:35Speaker 2: a time, and it probably is the best time to
- 24:40Speaker 2: just reach out and say, well, I don't know what
- 24:42Speaker 2: else there is, but I need help. And if you
- 24:45Speaker 2: need help spiritually, you look to the Lord spiritually, find
- 24:49Speaker 2: a place of worship, clinically or you know, organizationally through living,
- 24:56Speaker 2: reach out, talk to someone, if you have a friend,
- 25:00Speaker 2: if you find that you're alone in life, there's always
- 25:02Speaker 2: the nine eight eight ninety eight. Eight is a great
- 25:04Speaker 2: place to start if you really are so down, so
- 25:06Speaker 2: lost and struggling that you just don't feel like there
- 25:09Speaker 2: is a point. And encourage people to remember that number
- 25:12Speaker 2: because it's just another person on the other end of
- 25:14Speaker 2: the phone that we'll talk to you but why not
- 25:16Speaker 2: start with going to a church service this year, do something,
- 25:21Speaker 2: do something you might find that you are just It
- 25:24Speaker 2: could be the turning point of everything that you've been
- 25:27Speaker 2: wanting to understand. And especially and I know Matt, you
- 25:30Speaker 2: know this. We work with a lot of tough folks
- 25:33Speaker 2: who are just that grieving, that emptiness. They've been going
- 25:37Speaker 2: along the last year two three, four five since the pandemic.
- 25:42Speaker 2: And for all of those folks who have been suffering
- 25:45Speaker 2: through what we've gone through these past five years, reaching
- 25:48Speaker 2: out connecting. It's not about the presence or the bright lights.
- 25:54Speaker 2: It's about the human connection and rebuilding relationships. And I
- 25:58Speaker 2: struggle because people are often will say, you know, well,
- 26:01Speaker 2: I can't live without the other person who has gone
- 26:04Speaker 2: or past. And while that may feel it may feel true,
- 26:09Speaker 2: there has to be a new beginning. And I'd like
- 26:12Speaker 2: you to take what Matt and I are sharing today
- 26:15Speaker 2: and let's get you to consider what does a new
- 26:18Speaker 2: beginning look like? Bringing the love and the peace and
- 26:22Speaker 2: the memories of that person with you in your new
- 26:25Speaker 2: your new right turn in your journey.
- 26:28Speaker 3: And you don't have to you don't you don't have
- 26:30Speaker 3: to forget them. God knows you shouldn't because those memories
- 26:35Speaker 3: are there for a reason. You think back on those things,
- 26:38Speaker 3: you remember how great that person was. But like Patty said,
- 26:43Speaker 3: bring them with you. And ironically, Patty, it's it's it's not.
- 26:47Speaker 3: It's not about the presence with a t s. It's
- 26:50Speaker 3: about the presence with an se of others. Finding that,
- 26:57Speaker 3: finding people a community, uh, to connect with who at
- 27:03Speaker 3: the very least uh, empathizes with you and understands and
- 27:09Speaker 3: can and and and maybe and of course of course,
- 27:12Speaker 3: of course you can't. You can't do all this without God.
- 27:15Speaker 3: So you know, if you don't, if you don't know
- 27:18Speaker 3: the Lord, find a pastor find a church, find Uh,
- 27:22Speaker 3: just just open your Bible and and and find and
- 27:26Speaker 3: find him. Uh, his characters revealed all throughout and these
- 27:31Speaker 3: things we're talking about, the various things that we've already mentioned.
- 27:36Speaker 3: You will, you will, you will find them there. But
- 27:38Speaker 3: nothing's going to happen if you just and again, I'm
- 27:42Speaker 3: not I'm not being judgmental. Uh, I'm certainly not being
- 27:48Speaker 3: trying trying to be harsh. I am trying. Patty and
- 27:50Speaker 3: I are both trying to be loving when we say this,
- 27:53Speaker 3: nothing's going to happen if you just stay stuck where
- 27:57Speaker 3: you are.
- 27:58Speaker 2: That's very true. And and what you said, Matt, I
- 28:01Speaker 2: hope folks you realize I love the connection. Not presence
- 28:05Speaker 2: like gifts, but presence. It's being. It's your presence and
- 28:10Speaker 2: your being and being in the moment, being in the
- 28:14Speaker 2: moment with God, being in the moment in prayer, being
- 28:17Speaker 2: in the moment with other people. And you know it,
- 28:21Speaker 2: Matt can probably help me here scripturally, but it's being
- 28:24Speaker 2: in the presence of where two or more are gathered
- 28:28Speaker 2: and what that presence means. And look again, I don't
- 28:31Speaker 2: know what everybody believes, but I will tell you if
- 28:34Speaker 2: you I think people do believe that there's bad, there's evil.
- 28:38Speaker 2: So if you're going to believe in bad and evil,
- 28:40Speaker 2: because there is, we all have experienced it. There has
- 28:43Speaker 2: been true evil in whatever way you want to describe it.
- 28:46Speaker 2: It could be someone who's verbally hurt you, physically hurt you,
- 28:50Speaker 2: a life situation that's hurt you. The world can be
- 28:54Speaker 2: a cruel place. If you believe in that, then you
- 28:56Speaker 2: absolutely have to understand there's good because you cannot have
- 29:01Speaker 2: one without the other. It's like darkness and light, you know,
- 29:03Speaker 2: you can't have one without the other. So with good
- 29:07Speaker 2: being together with two or more, work to find ways
- 29:11Speaker 2: to move forward. Like Matt said, being stuck. It's a choice.
- 29:17Speaker 2: And while you may not want to light the Christmas tree,
- 29:20Speaker 2: you may not want to celebrate, You may not want
- 29:22Speaker 2: to get involved in all the like I call the hohohah,
- 29:26Speaker 2: while it's all lovely and there are plenty of us
- 29:29Speaker 2: who will have some really fun, wonderful gatherings. I have
- 29:32Speaker 2: a friend whose daughter's not doesn't know it yet, but
- 29:36Speaker 2: she's about to get engaged this weekend and we're hopefully
- 29:39Speaker 2: going to help in onuations. Yeah it'll be fun for her,
- 29:43Speaker 2: but not everybody can appreciate the true joy of that
- 29:47Speaker 2: right now because they're hurting. It could be like I said, physical, emotional.
- 29:51Speaker 2: It could be loss of a job, not enough income,
- 29:53Speaker 2: or truly the devastating loss of a loved one or
- 29:56Speaker 2: even a pet. But just keep that in mind to
- 30:00Speaker 2: move forward, to get unstuck, and you need to nurture
- 30:05Speaker 2: and filling your cup with ways, reading the Bible, meditating, grounding,
- 30:12Speaker 2: nourishing and nurturing and fueling your body. Because Matt know
- 30:16Speaker 2: has always got to talk about health and wellness. But
- 30:19Speaker 2: you will feel better if you fill your cup with
- 30:23Speaker 2: these things that are going to fill your body, nurture
- 30:27Speaker 2: your mind, and fill your spirit. So that's why we're
- 30:31Speaker 2: here today. We're here to fill your cup.
- 30:33Speaker 3: It's like, imagine, imagine waking up and my pastor says
- 30:41Speaker 3: this a lot at Patty, I think you'll appreciate this.
- 30:44Speaker 3: My pastor says this a lot. Talking about church is
- 30:48Speaker 3: like what do people what do people say? Oh, people said,
- 30:53Speaker 3: Instead of waking up on Sunday morning and think, oh,
- 30:57Speaker 3: I have to I have to go to church today,
- 31:01Speaker 3: your attitude instead be no, no, no, I get to
- 31:04Speaker 3: go to church today. Likewise, likewise, again it's not not
- 31:10Speaker 3: a perfect analogy, but it's home and one I could
- 31:13Speaker 3: come up with on the fly. But likewise, you know,
- 31:17Speaker 3: your attitude shouldn't be I have to do this. I
- 31:19Speaker 3: have to do this. I have to I have to
- 31:22Speaker 3: look and see all see all these things around me,
- 31:25Speaker 3: like no, you get to your your your love, your
- 31:29Speaker 3: loved one, whatever it is, may be dead, but you're
- 31:32Speaker 3: still here. You're you're you're still here. As hard as
- 31:36Speaker 3: it is to believe you're you're you're still here and
- 31:38Speaker 3: you have to you have to you have to live again.
- 31:43Speaker 3: It's a lot and like like I talked about at
- 31:46Speaker 3: the top, you know, we got a new year coming up.
- 31:48Speaker 3: It may it may be a time for a forgive
- 31:51Speaker 3: me for the fancy terminology here. It may be time
- 31:53Speaker 3: for a paradigm shift. It may it may be time
- 31:57Speaker 3: for for that. That may be the time where you
- 32:00Speaker 3: decide in the process of your journey, whatever you're going through. Hey,
- 32:05Speaker 3: I need I need to change in my life. I
- 32:07Speaker 3: need I need, I need to get closer with God.
- 32:10Speaker 3: I need to find a community of people who will
- 32:13Speaker 3: support me. People I can talk on a daily basis,
- 32:16Speaker 3: people I can who understand what I'm going through, people
- 32:21Speaker 3: who can or maybe or maybe you just need to
- 32:23Speaker 3: branch out so it can look differently depending on the situation.
- 32:29Speaker 3: And so there there's a there's always an opportunity, uh
- 32:35Speaker 3: for for a new beginning.
- 32:37Speaker 2: I absolutely agree, and I want to share. You know
- 32:40Speaker 2: a lot of times I pull stuff up as as
- 32:42Speaker 2: we're talking sometimes and here's the thing, right, and not
- 32:46Speaker 2: to sound dramatic, but this is how quickly, in the
- 32:49Speaker 2: blink of an eye, literally the blink of an eye,
- 32:51Speaker 2: things can change. What happens if this is the last
- 32:55Speaker 2: moment that you're here, what happens? If I'll do it tomorrow,
- 32:59Speaker 2: I'm just nobody understands my pain. I'm just grieving, literally,
- 33:04Speaker 2: just I guess. It was about an hour ago. And
- 33:07Speaker 2: I don't know if anybody's heard about this yet, but
- 33:09Speaker 2: the former NASCAR driver Greg Biffle, he took his family
- 33:13Speaker 2: and they were flying and they were landing in Statesville
- 33:16Speaker 2: at the regional airport and the plane crashed. And I
- 33:18Speaker 2: don't know how many people were on that plane, but
- 33:20Speaker 2: it said he and his family. So literally, folks, this morning,
- 33:25Speaker 2: Greg Biffle and his wife and children had plans family,
- 33:30Speaker 2: probably going to see people Christmas. Less than two hours ago,
- 33:34Speaker 2: as he was landing, the plane crashed and it doesn't
- 33:36Speaker 2: appear that they're survivors. Wow, don't wait, don't wait. Your
- 33:42Speaker 2: loved one may have died, and that is tragic. But
- 33:46Speaker 2: what can you do to help someone else? What can
- 33:50Speaker 2: you do to help yourself? You were here and you
- 33:52Speaker 2: have a journey. You may not like your journey, but
- 33:55Speaker 2: I promise you, I want to know that I'm not
- 33:59Speaker 2: waste a moment of my time not doing something that
- 34:03Speaker 2: I really could be doing or should be doing, because well,
- 34:07Speaker 2: what's the point. Here's a big point. Each one of
- 34:09Speaker 2: you impacts someone and you just might not know how.
- 34:14Speaker 3: As Matthew West wants saying, Patty, and I think you'll
- 34:17Speaker 3: resonate with this. I want to know. I got to
- 34:20Speaker 3: know what ifs.
- 34:22Speaker 2: That's right, No wish I did, could have, should have,
- 34:24Speaker 2: would have. Just do it, like Nike says, just do it.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Get out there. You may be the one person I have.
- 34:31Speaker 2: People tell me this all the time, why do I
- 34:34Speaker 2: need to do something? I don't really have any value?
- 34:37Speaker 2: You know, somebody else has value, but I don't. You
- 34:41Speaker 2: just don't realize the people that come across your life,
- 34:44Speaker 2: you don't.
- 34:45Speaker 3: I literally say that all the time. I literally say
- 34:48Speaker 3: that all the time. Like if I were to disappear
- 34:50Speaker 3: and stop hosting x spaces, there's no reason somebody, somebody
- 34:54Speaker 3: who's better, watier, smarter or whatever couldn't do what I do.
- 34:58Speaker 3: But yet I'm doing it anyway. I've made all these
- 35:01Speaker 3: connections that I've made anyway, and it's regardless of whether
- 35:05Speaker 3: I think those things are not. You know, that's I'm
- 35:07Speaker 3: convinced at this point that that's the journey that the
- 35:09Speaker 3: Lord has laid out.
- 35:11Speaker 2: For me, what a great journey. And you know what,
- 35:14Speaker 2: while the tragedy of a pandemic and all that we
- 35:18Speaker 2: went through, there's so many of this now that have
- 35:21Speaker 2: so many better connections of people that we feel like
- 35:24Speaker 2: we've impacted or people have impacted us. That has been
- 35:28Speaker 2: a wonderful way of connecting with people well outside our circle,
- 35:33Speaker 2: our comfort zone. And and yet through all of that,
- 35:37Speaker 2: I know there's been tragedy, but I don't know. I
- 35:40Speaker 2: just feel like I'm the kind of person that I'm
- 35:42Speaker 2: going to make some noise. And for me, the gift
- 35:45Speaker 2: of life and getting out of the ICU was to
- 35:48Speaker 2: make as much noise and make Anthony Fauci as mad
- 35:51Speaker 2: as possible and let the world know that there is
- 35:55Speaker 2: a whole lot more going on that nobody knew about.
- 35:58Speaker 2: And look, I'm only one person, but do you know
- 36:01Speaker 2: how much is going on today that is exposing things.
- 36:06Speaker 2: I don't know what role I played in it, but yeah,
- 36:09Speaker 2: there's the book they call me Harriet. You can read
- 36:12Speaker 2: the deep down, dirty dive into what really went on
- 36:14Speaker 2: behind the scenes in the hospitals and all the lies,
- 36:17Speaker 2: the misinformation, and so think about that. My voice I
- 36:21Speaker 2: know at least twenty other people that we were sort
- 36:24Speaker 2: of underground and trying to get the word out, and
- 36:27Speaker 2: maybe between all of us it helped to get to
- 36:30Speaker 2: the right person that now there's investigations and there's studies,
- 36:34Speaker 2: and there's things that are changing. They're now investigating. I
- 36:37Speaker 2: just saw this on one of the news outlets that
- 36:40Speaker 2: they're investigating over seven eight hundred troops of military folks
- 36:46Speaker 2: that were let go for not getting the vaccine. Praise
- 36:50Speaker 2: God for that.
- 36:51Speaker 3: Praise God for that, and.
- 36:53Speaker 2: Thank God God for that. Yeah, you know, and that's happening.
- 36:58Speaker 2: They've now just made the hepatitie B vaccine not mandatory
- 37:02Speaker 2: for babies. Praise God for that. What have we all
- 37:06Speaker 2: done that gave those kids those vaccines? I don't know,
- 37:10Speaker 2: but I do know that vaccine they have discovered and
- 37:13Speaker 2: they've it's been put out there that vaccine is not
- 37:16Speaker 2: an essential vaccine at birth. Okay, no judgment. I vaccinated
- 37:21Speaker 2: my kids at birth, but they didn't need to the
- 37:24Speaker 2: tightest B vaccine, but I gave it to them. I
- 37:27Speaker 2: didn't know. But now we can offer better healthier options
- 37:31Speaker 2: to our kids. So yeah, I take that very seriously.
- 37:35Speaker 2: That by me not dying in that ICU. I got
- 37:38Speaker 2: to shake the hell up out of the dark side.
- 37:40Speaker 3: And I don't I thank god we did.
- 37:43Speaker 2: It's it's you know, I'm just a little piece of
- 37:46Speaker 2: the picture. But what a what a you know, fired
- 37:49Speaker 2: up piece. My husband knows. Don't ever make Patty go phillyer.
- 37:51Speaker 2: It might not go so well. And I went philly
- 37:55Speaker 2: on on Anthony Fauci and all the lies, the bs,
- 37:59Speaker 2: the nonsense. A lot of it's in the book, but
- 38:02Speaker 2: there's even more. So I think it's so important that
- 38:05Speaker 2: we just shake up, wake up, and let you all know.
- 38:09Speaker 2: You have got to seize the moment, take this season
- 38:13Speaker 2: and consider what do you need to do to fill
- 38:17Speaker 2: your cup? It may not be about the presence, like
- 38:20Speaker 2: Matt said, but maybe it's about the presence. Put your
- 38:24Speaker 2: presence in a place your being. Put your being in
- 38:28Speaker 2: a place where not only do you fill your cup,
- 38:31Speaker 2: but maybe you'll make a difference in somebody else's life.
- 38:34Speaker 2: How cool is that? Anybody have ideas? Where can you
- 38:37Speaker 2: make a presence? Matt? I think I know one big place,
- 38:39Speaker 2: But where do you make a presence?
- 38:41Speaker 3: On ex Every Friday at seven pm Eastern, Just like
- 38:46Speaker 3: Patty makes hers right here on this station, on this
- 38:51Speaker 3: broadcast at reaping them on Thursdays and as well as
- 38:55Speaker 3: with their patients.
- 38:57Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's it. You know, Matt's got a wonderful
- 38:59Speaker 2: pod cast that he's out there. He hosts every Friday night.
- 39:03Speaker 2: And you know, folks, I don't know if you even
- 39:05Speaker 2: know the nature of what has happened. By getting the
- 39:08Speaker 2: free airwaves back back, people like Matt can get out
- 39:12Speaker 2: there and start having great conversation with people from all
- 39:15Speaker 2: over the world, people like you and me, people that
- 39:19Speaker 2: are out there that you're never going to get on
- 39:22Speaker 2: you know, I don't know TV, TV box News and
- 39:28Speaker 2: to heck with them, right, it's fake news anyway, Get online,
- 39:32Speaker 2: you know, online with real people like us and have dialogue.
- 39:35Speaker 2: Now we don't get to share, you know, our lovely faces.
- 39:37Speaker 2: We're all just like basically on the on the phone.
- 39:40Speaker 2: But you can, you know, and it's very cool and
- 39:44Speaker 2: you can multitask because you can listen in. You can
- 39:47Speaker 2: bebop around. But I encourage all of you to explore X.
- 39:51Speaker 2: Explore Matt's podcast on Fridays at seven pm. How do
- 39:55Speaker 2: they find you Matt on X Because some people are
- 39:58Speaker 2: new at it.
- 40:00Speaker 3: My ex handles actually in in the you can actually
- 40:03Speaker 3: see it. It's at Underscore the young Blood and we
- 40:08Speaker 3: we Uh, that's how you can find me. Just watch
- 40:10Speaker 3: for A good thing to do is turn notifications on
- 40:13Speaker 3: for not necessarily my account, but any other account you
- 40:17Speaker 3: find that that that you that you that you like,
- 40:21Speaker 3: I want to interact with. You can turn For instance,
- 40:24Speaker 3: you could turn notifications on for Patty if she reposts
- 40:26Speaker 3: a space or or or a study or an interview, uh,
- 40:32Speaker 3: anything she put you want to see. You want to
- 40:34Speaker 3: turn notifications on for Patty, go right ahead. It's at
- 40:37Speaker 3: well miss Patty. Guh right there on X. Uh. So
- 40:41Speaker 3: that's that's a good way to to keep up and
- 40:44Speaker 3: to keep in touch with, not with not only myself,
- 40:48Speaker 3: not only Patty, but anyone else you find and resonate with.
- 40:52Speaker 2: There are so many cool people that I've met on X.
- 40:54Speaker 2: And that's the other thing. When you guys get on,
- 40:57Speaker 2: you can listen, you can ask to speak so you
- 41:00Speaker 2: can be a part of it, or you can just
- 41:01Speaker 2: tune in. But I mean we've had some people on.
- 41:04Speaker 2: I haven't had a LOM, but Matt's had some people on.
- 41:06Speaker 2: I mean, there is actually some pretty interesting and pretty
- 41:09Speaker 2: well known people that do tend to jump in here
- 41:12Speaker 2: and there from time to time. And these are people
- 41:15Speaker 2: like us, But there's also people that are voices in
- 41:17Speaker 2: the mainstream, and sometimes when they hear things that you
- 41:20Speaker 2: have to say and share, it could just be the
- 41:23Speaker 2: opportunity for them to investigate something and maybe help to
- 41:26Speaker 2: bring more truth to light. Because there are people out
- 41:28Speaker 2: there that we've connected with that really have taken a
- 41:31Speaker 2: lot and spread the word and that's how we build
- 41:34Speaker 2: layer upon layer of getting the truth out there. So
- 41:37Speaker 2: be a voice, maybe fill your cup with getting out
- 41:41Speaker 2: there and tuning into other things besides the fake news.
- 41:46Speaker 2: And also too, don't think about everything that we see
- 41:49Speaker 2: out there. We are such a little microcosm. There's a
- 41:53Speaker 2: lot of stories going on right now. There's a lot
- 41:55Speaker 2: of big places and people. A lot of it is
- 41:58Speaker 2: not ever going to necessarily directly affect us. Should we
- 42:01Speaker 2: be aware, absolutely, but don't let that steal your joy
- 42:06Speaker 2: or increase your anxiety. To nurture yourself and put yourself
- 42:11Speaker 2: first to heal and grow and fill your cup. And
- 42:16Speaker 2: I did want to give a quick shout out too,
- 42:18Speaker 2: because if you are grieving, if you lost a loved one,
- 42:21Speaker 2: especially during the pandemic. The BETRAYALUSA dot org, the pro
- 42:27Speaker 2: Ohtrayal Project, how to kind I forget the project, the
- 42:30Speaker 2: Betrayal Project USA. It's Betrayal Project USA. I think it's
- 42:34Speaker 2: the bottom of our screen dot org because it's a
- 42:37Speaker 2: five five O three CIV. They are the ones that
- 42:42Speaker 2: have a group that is growing and growing and growing,
- 42:45Speaker 2: and so you're not alone. Join into the group. They've
- 42:48Speaker 2: got lots of topics on their web page. They have
- 42:51Speaker 2: groups that are available almost every night, and you can
- 42:54Speaker 2: tune in and again, like Matt and I are sharing,
- 42:57Speaker 2: you're not going to be alone. You can find other
- 42:59Speaker 2: people have lost loved ones during the pandemic that are grieving,
- 43:03Speaker 2: and there are voices of people that will understand. So
- 43:07Speaker 2: many in our group don't understand have loved ones or
- 43:10Speaker 2: people that don't understand. You know, why are you still grieving? Well,
- 43:14Speaker 2: because it's such a significant loss in their life. So
- 43:16Speaker 2: I encourage you, guys Betrayal Project USA dot org. Tune
- 43:21Speaker 2: in to their website and join in if you find
- 43:24Speaker 2: that that is a group of interest to you. Also survivors.
- 43:27Speaker 2: You know, that's how this whole thing got started. Five
- 43:30Speaker 2: years ago is just about eight of us got together
- 43:32Speaker 2: and started a zoom call. And from there I grew
- 43:36Speaker 2: into a couple of different groups. And now we've got
- 43:39Speaker 2: the Betrayal Project USA dot org that's alive and flourishing.
- 43:43Speaker 2: So there's just so much you can do to fill
- 43:46Speaker 2: your cup. We've only got just a four minutes five
- 43:51Speaker 2: minutes left. But Matt, what other things did we want
- 43:53Speaker 2: to share with folks about really being blessed this holiday season?
- 43:57Speaker 2: Find your joy, find your hope? What are things should
- 44:00Speaker 2: we share with folks? Anything come to mind?
- 44:04Speaker 3: Just just make sure that you take the time and
- 44:10Speaker 3: just embrace the embrace the joy. Don't take it for granted.
- 44:17Speaker 3: Just but but you have to find it. You have
- 44:19Speaker 3: to find that in the Lord, because, like I said earlier,
- 44:22Speaker 3: again apologies for being repetitive, you will find if you
- 44:26Speaker 3: find the Lord, you will find the joy and the
- 44:29Speaker 3: peace and the love. Because of his love is the
- 44:33Speaker 3: reason why he did and he does all that he does,
- 44:38Speaker 3: the same should go for us. And once you, once
- 44:43Speaker 3: you take all that, take all that in consideration, if
- 44:46Speaker 3: you find that, you find that, you will find the
- 44:50Speaker 3: rest the rest of it. You will find you will
- 44:53Speaker 3: be at peace with God. You may not you may
- 44:56Speaker 3: you may not be you may not be at peace
- 44:59Speaker 3: for now, but you know there's going to come a
- 45:02Speaker 3: day when when when we're we're all dead and gone,
- 45:05Speaker 3: we're going to you know, if your loved one knew
- 45:08Speaker 3: the Lord, you're going to see him or her again.
- 45:14Speaker 3: You're you're going And so that is a hope to
- 45:18Speaker 3: cling to that if your loved one knew the Lord,
- 45:20Speaker 3: you will see them again. So yeah, it is. It
- 45:24Speaker 3: is tragic, but circumstances, but there is a silver lining.
- 45:28Speaker 3: But there's something else, you know, I'm reminded of. We
- 45:31Speaker 3: talked a little bit about personal reflections earlier. Earlier this year,
- 45:35Speaker 3: I had a conversation with Karen Kingston and one of
- 45:37Speaker 3: the things we got into was, uh, what was she
- 45:41Speaker 3: She reflected on how she used to she used to
- 45:44Speaker 3: basically be like a put put herself out there as
- 45:47Speaker 3: like I know it all and arrogant, and over time
- 45:49Speaker 3: she realized, you know what, not everyone's at the same
- 45:52Speaker 3: place this zion. And the reason I bring that up
- 45:55Speaker 3: is because not everybody's on that same journey as as
- 45:59Speaker 3: you are. But if you are on that journey, please
- 46:02Speaker 3: get plugged into the Betrayal Project support groups. There's a
- 46:06Speaker 3: place on their website you can check you can get
- 46:09Speaker 3: get involved and sign up. You know, I'm I'm I'm
- 46:13Speaker 3: on the support groups on on on Monday nights. I
- 46:17Speaker 3: wasn't in there. I'm just there to have make my
- 46:19Speaker 3: presence be known that I support and stand with those
- 46:23Speaker 3: But but that's that's among the among with among what
- 46:29Speaker 3: I can, uh the things that I do for for
- 46:33Speaker 3: for that, for that group and for Patty and as
- 46:35Speaker 3: well as as well as being on our show. So Patty, thanks, Patty,
- 46:38Speaker 3: thanks so much for having me. Yeah.
- 46:40Speaker 2: No, absolutely, Matt, and again it's great that you're part
- 46:42Speaker 2: of the group I wanted to share with everybody. You know,
- 46:45Speaker 2: Matt just gives of his heart, his time is just
- 46:49Speaker 2: you know, the phenomenal understanding of the Lord and the
- 46:52Speaker 2: Bible and helps to bring all kinds of great resources
- 46:56Speaker 2: and support to all of us. And so that's why
- 46:57Speaker 2: I love having them on our show. And I just
- 47:00Speaker 2: want to remind you all as we kind of have
- 47:02Speaker 2: to close out this episode today. You know, next week
- 47:05Speaker 2: will be Christmas. The week after we'll be New Year's.
- 47:08Speaker 2: So I encourage all of you to line yourselves up
- 47:11Speaker 2: to get ready for the start of twenty twenty six.
- 47:14Speaker 2: We are going to be focusing forward on your mental
- 47:17Speaker 2: health and wellness. I encourage folks if you need any
- 47:20Speaker 2: help and you want to reach out to us here

- 47:25Speaker 2: nine oh four three seven seven one one nine six.

- 47:35Speaker 2: you can just send us a question and we can
- 47:37Speaker 2: text you back and help you to find a link
- 47:39Speaker 2: or a resource in your area. But we're here to
- 47:42Speaker 2: help a lot of great things that we've talked about
- 47:44Speaker 2: this year and closing it out with just some of
- 47:46Speaker 2: the cell patches, peptide therapy and all kinds of things.
- 47:52Speaker 2: The cell patches are available to you at magnoliasell patch
- 47:55Speaker 2: dot com. And I want to make sure that if
- 47:58Speaker 2: you are looking for a great gift and you're not
- 48:00Speaker 2: sure what to give someone, give them a pack of
- 48:02Speaker 2: stem cell patches and let them feel better through the
- 48:05Speaker 2: Christmas holidays and maybe that will help your mood, your energy,
- 48:09Speaker 2: your motivation. I always recommend the X thirty nine's and

- 48:32Speaker 2: what your holiday looked like last year or the year before.
