- 2:20Speaker 2: we needs your help with. This time it's the Drop
- 2:23Speaker 2: your Snacks event with Union Mission and the Charleston Dirty Birds,
- 2:26Speaker 2: trying to get those young and some food to take
- 2:29Speaker 2: home for the summer. We're gonna be doing that one
- 2:31Speaker 2: week from this Thursday on our parking lot eleven eleven
- 2:33Speaker 2: Virginia Street. Das Charleston, Rob Reel from her sister Station
- 2:36Speaker 2: ninety six one KWS will join me to talk about
- 2:39Speaker 2: that a little bit later on in the show. Plus
- 2:41Speaker 2: we'll get some other things in the news, and Danny
- 2:43Speaker 2: Jones we'll stop by as well. Now, originally I had
- 2:48Speaker 2: planned on talking to Haley Morgan. She is with a
- 2:51Speaker 2: group that's putting on a car show this Saturday in
- 2:53Speaker 2: Winfield to benefit the Putnam County Animal Shelter. It's called
- 2:56Speaker 2: Paus and Pistons And a side note, I'll be there.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Whether it's sister station ninety eight seven of the Mouth
- 3:01Speaker 2: and Wild and Wonderful classic rock. But Haley, who is
- 3:05Speaker 2: a nurse by trade, that's her that's her regular job.
- 3:09Speaker 2: You know, that whole patience thing kind of got in
- 3:11Speaker 2: the way this morning, so she's not going to be
- 3:13Speaker 2: able to be here, but here with us anyway. Stepping
- 3:17Speaker 2: up to the plate to sub for Haley Morgan is
- 3:20Speaker 2: Winfield Mayor Randy Barrett. Good morning, sir, and welcome to
- 3:23Speaker 2: the show.
- 3:24Speaker 5: Morning day. Glad to have you back. I'm glad you're hearing.
- 3:27Speaker 6: You're feeling better too.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Oh yeah, well after a week's vacation will do that
- 3:30Speaker 2: to you. It's a it's a it's amazing what sunshine,
- 3:34Speaker 2: good food and good drink will will do for the
- 3:37Speaker 2: body and the soul.
- 3:38Speaker 5: Amen up there, Yeah, I'm definitely playing the second fiddle
- 3:42Speaker 5: for the sting first morning for Haley up there. She
- 3:46Speaker 5: got her stuff to give to this car.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Shut well. Again, I had talked to she'd reached out
- 3:49Speaker 2: to you once before she was on the show last year,
- 3:51Speaker 2: and I think you were able to facilitate that. But
- 3:53Speaker 2: got a text from me yesterday and again she she's
- 3:56Speaker 2: a nurse, and you know that whole medical thing kind
- 3:59Speaker 2: of got in the way this morning, but but I
- 4:01Speaker 2: do appreciate you stepping up to the play. By the way, Mayor, Uh,
- 4:05Speaker 2: you're here on a very special day because today is
- 4:07Speaker 2: my sixth anniversary of doing this show, or I.
- 4:11Speaker 5: Didn't know that day, or I'm glad I was able
- 4:13Speaker 5: to celebrate that with you on a Mayor Tuesday.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Then may it's Mayor Tuesday. That's what we're doing. And
- 4:19Speaker 2: if you'd like to, you know, send a gift or
- 4:20Speaker 2: two this way, Randy, that'll be fine.
- 4:23Speaker 5: We'll take care of you Saturday when I didn't know
- 4:25Speaker 5: you was going to be here, So we'll see you Saturday.
- 4:28Speaker 2: That is the plan. I was out there last year
- 4:30Speaker 2: with a ninety eight to seven a mounth of wild
- 4:31Speaker 2: wonderful classic rock, plan on being there this Saturday too.
- 4:34Speaker 2: It starts about ten am. Now, this is a fundraiser.
- 4:36Speaker 2: This car show is Randy for the Putnam County Animal Shelter.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Putnam County Animal Shelter has had a few issues over
- 4:43Speaker 2: the last couple of years. But from what I understand,
- 4:46Speaker 2: everything is running smoothly in aok right now. So it's
- 4:49Speaker 2: a great cost for this car show.
- 4:51Speaker 5: Yes, it is up there in every dime of it
- 4:54Speaker 5: goes back to then we've had there's all kinds of
- 4:57Speaker 5: companies that's donated things to the this thing that they
- 5:00Speaker 5: can sell or just to advertise to bring people in.
- 5:04Speaker 5: And it's uh. They got photos, I think even Buddy
- 5:08Speaker 5: and Beast t shirts. They donated a bunch of shirts
- 5:12Speaker 5: to them and they want to sell them. Shell Shine
- 5:17Speaker 5: Detailing has got a package that they got trophies here
- 5:21Speaker 5: by timber them doodles they're gonna be set up with there,
- 5:24Speaker 5: and they were really nice belly scrubs, houses Shine and
- 5:27Speaker 5: even if you get a local kid and all of
- 5:31Speaker 5: you need in community service and you're some schools just
- 5:33Speaker 5: almost old with and she's offering some community service if
- 5:38Speaker 5: anybody wants to come do that. Sights and Sounds, dough
- 5:41Speaker 5: Daddies and we got Nacho Daddies and Dirty Pop stop
- 5:47Speaker 5: on just two of the vendors that I know of
- 5:50Speaker 5: for food vendors. But there there's so much. That's just
- 5:53Speaker 5: what I've been trying to get getting last half hour.
- 5:55Speaker 5: But she she knows more and I do about everything's
- 5:59Speaker 5: going on.
- 5:59Speaker 2: And so explain to people exactly where it's taking place
- 6:02Speaker 2: in Winfield.
- 6:04Speaker 5: Well, we have the city owns a big field here
- 6:07Speaker 5: just east of the City Hall crossing speedway were up there.
- 6:13Speaker 5: So the parking lot there and we're all around the
- 6:17Speaker 5: town hall and that field there is all open. Most
- 6:22Speaker 5: of the businesses that are in this little plaza, besides pizza
- 6:25Speaker 5: Hut on that on this end, are closed that day.
- 6:29Speaker 5: Uh So when we got all kinds of parking off
- 6:33Speaker 5: of on block top and in the grass up there,
- 6:36Speaker 5: and this is a nice area. She called me three
- 6:39Speaker 5: years ago, Man, I need a place for a car,
- 6:41Speaker 5: So you go a place I would didn't know from
- 6:44Speaker 5: Adam just hit me up. Yeah, we'll work it out.
- 6:47Speaker 5: And we had this the third third year, and she
- 6:50Speaker 5: puts a lot of time into it.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Well, and then the thing I love about this car shows,
- 6:54Speaker 2: and because you know, I run around a lot with
- 6:55Speaker 2: my worthless brother in law. And that's that's a loving
- 6:57Speaker 2: term I give him. He's drugged me to car shows
- 7:01Speaker 2: all over up and down the East Coast. It seems
- 7:03Speaker 2: like the one thing one of the things I love
- 7:05Speaker 2: about this particular car show at Randy is that there's
- 7:09Speaker 2: vehicles of all different kinds. I know that Haley and
- 7:12Speaker 2: the younger folks are into the whole drifting thing, and
- 7:14Speaker 2: if you don't know what that is, you can look
- 7:16Speaker 2: it up. But so there's more modern cars, but then
- 7:18Speaker 2: they got everything going back to the thirties and the
- 7:21Speaker 2: forties and you know, the seventies, all all kinds of things.
- 7:25Speaker 2: There are cars and trucks.
- 7:26Speaker 5: Yes, and I know that the cops and robbers they
- 7:29Speaker 5: have shows all through Putman County and they are they
- 7:33Speaker 5: are bringing theirs there. So they're the group with the
- 7:35Speaker 5: older classic antique cars. So you've got such a mix
- 7:40Speaker 5: of everybody. They're going to be here, so there's something
- 7:43Speaker 5: for everybody up there. Kids and all they've even got
- 7:47Speaker 5: they got groups of sponsor and some of the three
- 7:52Speaker 5: three three pets adopted for free. So there're just all
- 7:57Speaker 5: kinds of all kinds of stuff going on. And she
- 8:01Speaker 5: was worried about a week ago, so all of them
- 8:03Speaker 5: weather don't look at I said, if they're con for
- 8:05Speaker 5: rain a week aheadtime, it's going to be a great day.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Well for what it's worth. What it's worth. Mediorologists. Brian Hughes,
- 8:12Speaker 2: our Metro News mediorologist, tells me that as of right now,
- 8:15Speaker 2: the weather looks absolutely perfect for this week now, it's
- 8:19Speaker 2: just Tuesday, Mayor, and things can change, but as of
- 8:22Speaker 2: right now, it looks absolutely perfect for Saturday. You'll start
- 8:24Speaker 2: about ten am. And as you said, there's going to
- 8:26Speaker 2: be pets out there. I think people can take a
- 8:28Speaker 2: look at.
- 8:28Speaker 5: Also.
- 8:29Speaker 2: I think they're doing a pet show of some kind. Right.
- 8:31Speaker 2: There's all kinds of different categories there.
- 8:34Speaker 5: Yeah, and that is free, you know, for the cars,
- 8:37Speaker 5: just ten dollars. But the pet shows, most handsome, prettiest pup,
- 8:41Speaker 5: best dress, best cat, best rescue, and best trick up there.
- 8:47Speaker 5: So and she's got a lot of things for that
- 8:49Speaker 5: up there, and it's they really put on a really
- 8:52Speaker 5: good show. I think last year they even got a
- 8:54Speaker 5: place that they a pin out there. Do you can
- 8:57Speaker 5: let little pups and stuff they run loose from the
- 9:01Speaker 5: in that cage from the animal shelter the ones going
- 9:03Speaker 5: to get adopted. So there's and all kids love animals.
- 9:09Speaker 7: Like that.
- 9:11Speaker 5: Real yeah, yeah, but it's really a kid friendly show.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:16Speaker 5: Up there, and there's all she's got all kinds of
- 9:18Speaker 5: vendors that'll be selling crafts and different things in there.
- 9:21Speaker 5: She she she does a lot of work talking to Mayor.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Randy Barrett of Winfield to Dave Island Show on five
- 9:27Speaker 2: any livee broughight to you. Amparted by your hometown baseball team,
- 9:29Speaker 2: the Charleston Dirty Birds. Birds are back at home tonight,
- 9:32Speaker 2: weather permitting. You got to throw that in there ballpark.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Take it on high point another two dollars Tuesday with
- 9:37Speaker 2: two dollars game tickets, two dollars hot dogs, two dollars
- 9:39Speaker 2: water and sodas, and two dollars mini golf two. Visit
- 9:42Speaker 2: dirty Birds Baseball dot com for details. Mayor, Where is
- 9:45Speaker 2: the best place for people to find out information about this?
- 9:48Speaker 2: I mean, I know if you're on social media, if
- 9:50Speaker 2: you're on Facebook, you can go find out information there.
- 9:52Speaker 2: It's Pauls and Piston. It's not hard to find.
- 9:56Speaker 5: Yes, Pauls and Piston are on Facebook and uh and
- 9:59Speaker 5: the I know there you can. She's got a QR
- 10:02Speaker 5: code in there for the kids. But there's where you
- 10:06Speaker 5: can get there to get the community service. But that
- 10:10Speaker 5: she's got there, she's updating that thing all the time,
- 10:14Speaker 5: and we've shared it on the city page also Citywinfield
- 10:18Speaker 5: dot net. Uh, it's on there on there also with
- 10:23Speaker 5: the details stuff. But they got it from ten to
- 10:25Speaker 5: three this Saturday, and it'll be a good up there.
- 10:29Speaker 5: And I do see a phone number on here for questions.
- 10:31Speaker 5: Three four, three nine five eight seven one seven.
- 10:37Speaker 2: All right, I've got that flyer and when I get
- 10:40Speaker 2: off the air, I'll try to remember to get that
- 10:42Speaker 2: posted over on Dave Allen Radio, on Facebook and at
- 10:44Speaker 2: Dave A seventy on acts so people can check that
- 10:46Speaker 2: out there. It's going to be a great time. And
- 10:48Speaker 2: again you still got a few days, but i'll tell
- 10:50Speaker 2: you mayor last year, I mean it was pretty much.
- 10:54Speaker 2: I mean they were actually struggling to try to get
- 10:57Speaker 2: all the cars in on that field. That's a pretty big.
- 11:00Speaker 5: It's a big field, and they were up there. They
- 11:03Speaker 5: just kept rolling in, rolling in, and you know nothing.
- 11:06Speaker 5: You know, when someone puts all an effort to bring
- 11:09Speaker 5: and then to bring people to Windfield, it's such a
- 11:12Speaker 5: good feeling up there. When people bringing people to your home,
- 11:16Speaker 5: to your home city here for whatever reason up there,
- 11:20Speaker 5: it's really nice. Can they do it? Well?
- 11:22Speaker 2: Before I let you go, I'm gonna give you a
- 11:23Speaker 2: chance to sell the city a little bit. So what's
- 11:25Speaker 2: going on in the city of Windfield these days?
- 11:28Speaker 5: Well, we've got a sidewalk projects, it's actually starting today.
- 11:32Speaker 5: It's of course it's been running behind. It's starting going
- 11:36Speaker 5: up to the Troughston end up there if you're going
- 11:39Speaker 5: towards Amos up there, and we do. We have the
- 11:43Speaker 5: Winfield Water Sports weekends next weekend the fifth and six.
- 11:47Speaker 5: We got Weekend Warriors playing Friday night, so that's going
- 11:51Speaker 5: on next weekend. Then we got another car show by
- 11:55Speaker 5: another group the thirteenth here at the same place in
- 11:59Speaker 5: the West Virjuinior Drag Racers Hall of Fame. It'll be
- 12:03Speaker 5: open here at Fronttown Hall then up. So we got
- 12:07Speaker 5: a lot going on here in the next three weeks.
- 12:09Speaker 2: And there's a lot of development going on there too, Mayor.
- 12:12Speaker 2: I mean last time I was over in that that
- 12:15Speaker 2: area was about about a week or two ago, and man,
- 12:17Speaker 2: there's a lot of stuff going up and I'm hearing,
- 12:20Speaker 2: I'm hearing there's a lot more coming.
- 12:22Speaker 5: Yes, are we? The developing agency called me last week
- 12:26Speaker 5: and wanted to know up there, and I put the
- 12:28Speaker 5: numbers together. We're way over one hundred, one hundred and
- 12:32Speaker 5: twenty units of different types, houses to rentals and stuff
- 12:38Speaker 5: in it, and they're all brand new, and some of
- 12:40Speaker 5: it any broke ground yet. But it's a busy year
- 12:43Speaker 5: here in Winfield, and you can't ask for no more.
- 12:47Speaker 5: We're growing in these three schools here. I preach on
- 12:51Speaker 5: them all time up there. It's hard to beat when
- 12:53Speaker 5: you've got schools like this. Young people bringing their kid
- 12:57Speaker 5: they want their kids to have good education. These three
- 13:00Speaker 5: public schools are really good here.
- 13:02Speaker 2: And have you seen an influx of people that can
- 13:05Speaker 2: be directly uh, you know, traced a New Core in
- 13:07Speaker 2: some of these other developments in other counties because it's
- 13:10Speaker 2: all good mayor for those counties. Uh, But but I
- 13:13Speaker 2: can tell you somebody who lives in Tays Valley. You know,
- 13:16Speaker 2: we are seeing a lot of people that are moving
- 13:18Speaker 2: in from those areas.
- 13:20Speaker 5: Yeah, I've got there's a woman from uh, she's got
- 13:24Speaker 5: Texas plate. She's been up here, but she's been up
- 13:27Speaker 5: here a year and a half. And the place really
- 13:29Speaker 5: hasn't started manufacturing up there, but she's been here a
- 13:33Speaker 5: long time. And there's there's people from New Core all
- 13:36Speaker 5: through town. And I would you know, I wouldn't have
- 13:38Speaker 5: thought they'd have been here until they got closer to
- 13:41Speaker 5: actually produced and stuff. But they've been here a long
- 13:43Speaker 5: time and that place is really and but but those
- 13:47Speaker 5: people come here, they do the research, and they come
- 13:50Speaker 5: here for the school, and you know you just can't.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Can't tonight?
- 13:53Speaker 2: All right, it's Mayor Barrett. Always a pleasure to talk
- 13:56Speaker 2: to you. I will be seeing you this coming Saturday
- 13:58Speaker 2: for the Paws and Pistons car Ours Show in the
- 14:01Speaker 2: Winfield benefit of the Putnam County Animal So appreciate you
- 14:04Speaker 2: being here, man, Thanks.
- 14:04Speaker 5: A lot, Thank you, Dave, thanks for having me.

- 17:35Speaker 2: events and maybe give people demonstrations or a lesson and
- 17:38Speaker 2: teach him how to make at outdoor patios, which I
- 17:41Speaker 2: didn't understand. It apparently auto corrected the TEXTU says it
- 17:45Speaker 2: was catos. It's actually catios, but auto corrected on the
- 17:49Speaker 2: text of patios. So these are basically condos Rob.
- 17:52Speaker 10: For oh yeah, yeah, and so well there you go, gotcha?
- 17:56Speaker 2: All right, all right, that's Rob real. He does a
- 17:59Speaker 2: little little shawng and dance number started at five am
- 18:02Speaker 2: on our sister station, Superstar Country ninety six to one KWS,
- 18:06Speaker 2: a little award winning radio award winning radio program. No
- 18:10Speaker 2: I'm not, but that's sore spot for me or anything.
- 18:13Speaker 2: But oh okay, mister hall of Famer, to be fine
- 18:16Speaker 2: me that way. You're not even gonna let me into
- 18:18Speaker 2: the Hall of Fame for lunch. So let's let's just yeah,
- 18:22Speaker 2: well you're driving me that night, just so you know.
- 18:25Speaker 2: All right, it's Daisy, all right. So one week from
- 18:28Speaker 2: this Thursday, June fourth, in our parking lot here at
- 18:30Speaker 2: eleven eleven for Genie's Redise and Charleston starting at seven am,
- 18:33Speaker 2: last until six it's the Drop your Snacks Events. Yes,
- 18:36Speaker 2: so I dropped the.
- 18:38Speaker 10: Award winning in because the drop events we do with
- 18:41Speaker 10: Union Mission recognized by the West Virginia Broadcasters Association as
- 18:45Speaker 10: the best community impact for this past year. If you
- 18:48Speaker 10: are familiar with our drop events, this is all very redundant.
- 18:52Speaker 10: We do them on a Thursday, we do them at
- 18:54Speaker 10: our parking Lot eleven eleven Virginia Street, East, downtown Charleston,
- 18:58Speaker 10: just off Leon Sullivan. If you're coming off the foray
- 19:00Speaker 10: seven in the morning till six in the evening, loop
- 19:03Speaker 10: through the lot, hand us the things you could do,
- 19:05Speaker 10: cash your check, donation safely and securely, and on your
- 19:09Speaker 10: way off you go that those things are always the same.
- 19:12Speaker 10: For our drop events for the summer, we are focused
- 19:16Speaker 10: on feeding hungry West Virginia kids. Two thirds of West
- 19:19Speaker 10: Virginia school kids are on either free or reduced cost
- 19:23Speaker 10: meals at their schools. The official number is one in
- 19:28Speaker 10: five West Virginia kids is food insecure. I am certain
- 19:31Speaker 10: that number is higher because it's mostly self reported. So
- 19:35Speaker 10: with school being out, those kids are going to have
- 19:38Speaker 10: an even tougher time getting fed. So our goal is
- 19:41Speaker 10: to just fill some of that gap as best we can.
- 19:45Speaker 10: We're just you know, there's a lot of stuff politically
- 19:48Speaker 10: going on, and people have their opinions this way or
- 19:50Speaker 10: that way in this program and that program. Don't care
- 19:53Speaker 10: about any of that. I mean, I care, but that's
- 19:54Speaker 10: not what this is about. This is let's feed kids.
- 19:58Speaker 2: That's the whole point of drop your snacks And again
- 20:01Speaker 2: you mentioned that this program that you came up with
- 20:05Speaker 2: has one as one. Yeah, has won awards. But the
- 20:07Speaker 2: reason it's one awards is not because of rob Reeal
- 20:10Speaker 2: or because of us. It's because of the greatest listeners
- 20:13Speaker 2: on earth, because they have come through for us. Whether
- 20:16Speaker 2: it's dropped your socks, drop your snacks or whatever, they
- 20:18Speaker 2: do it every time.
- 20:19Speaker 10: What I bring to this other than the idea is
- 20:22Speaker 10: the logistics to keep it simple of it. All those
- 20:25Speaker 10: things that I explained that are the same, so that
- 20:27Speaker 10: it's become a habit for folks, so that all I
- 20:29Speaker 10: have to do. Oh I wish I could remember her name,
- 20:32Speaker 10: the gal from the Valkyries. I saw Friday night at
- 20:35Speaker 10: Live on the Levey and she's like, oh, thank thank.
- 20:37Speaker 1: You for reminding me.
- 20:39Speaker 10: We've got X number of dollars earmarked. I'm going to
- 20:41Speaker 10: go do some shopping. And it was as simple as
- 20:44Speaker 10: all I needed to do was remind her of the date,
- 20:46Speaker 10: and she knew all the other pieces and she'll be
- 20:49Speaker 10: ready to be here on Thursday the fourth. So if
- 20:53Speaker 10: if I have done something worthwhile in creating something, it's
- 20:57Speaker 10: a repeatable structure so that the best list in the world. No, okay,
- 21:01Speaker 10: they need snacks. This time January they need socks. November
- 21:05Speaker 10: is when they need turkeys. And folks just show up
- 21:08Speaker 10: to help our friends and neighbors.
- 21:10Speaker 2: And it's on our parking lot eleven eleven for Genius
- 21:12Speaker 2: Redec and Charleston one week from Thursdays, seven am till
- 21:16Speaker 2: six pm. You don't even have to get out of
- 21:18Speaker 2: your car. Rob Steve Animal Logan, Steve Jenny, all of myself.
- 21:23Speaker 2: I mean, we're all out there. At some point. You
- 21:25Speaker 2: can pull onto a lot. You can somebody a Jason
- 21:28Speaker 2: from Union Mission more on them coming up in a
- 21:30Speaker 2: couple of moments, will be out there, some other at
- 21:31Speaker 2: their helpers. Folks from the Dirty Birds are going to
- 21:34Speaker 2: be here. You hand them the stuff and then you'll like,
- 21:37Speaker 2: what kind of stuff we looking for?
- 21:39Speaker 10: We are looking for anything from like you know, cheese
- 21:41Speaker 10: and crackers, peanut butter crackers, the fruit snacks, anything that's
- 21:46Speaker 10: non perishable. I'm a big fan of the single serving
- 21:50Speaker 10: peanut butter to go cups because it's a great way
- 21:53Speaker 10: to get protein. It's a little bit sweet, so that's
- 21:55Speaker 10: easy enough to get the kids to eat, very calorie
- 21:58Speaker 10: dnse and nutrient rich. That's a great choice. We'll get
- 22:02Speaker 10: some more suggestions on our social media so that folks
- 22:07Speaker 10: can pick and choose a few things. But the thing
- 22:10Speaker 10: I can't stress enough is the bulk buying power of
- 22:15Speaker 10: financial contributions. Cash check, credit card, safe and secure and
- 22:19Speaker 10: Union mission can really stack those stacks and make your
- 22:24Speaker 10: money go a long, long way.
- 22:26Speaker 2: And again, there are several places we don't tell you
- 22:28Speaker 2: where to do your shopping. If you want to go
- 22:30Speaker 2: to one of the big box stores, you want to
- 22:33Speaker 2: go to your local dollar stores, whatever, And we don't
- 22:35Speaker 2: care whether you come in with four or five boxes
- 22:38Speaker 2: of those crackers or you literally come in with one
- 22:41Speaker 2: bag of crackers. We really don't care.
- 22:44Speaker 10: I am often one to say that just get whatever
- 22:47Speaker 10: you like, grab a couple extra on your shopping trip.
- 22:50Speaker 10: You've probably got two shopping trips between now and then,
- 22:52Speaker 10: because you need a restock from all the great grub
- 22:54Speaker 10: you did over Memorial weekend, and then your regular grocery
- 22:58Speaker 10: trip for the next week. So that's probably two opportunities
- 23:01Speaker 10: that you can grab that extra thing of. You know,
- 23:05Speaker 10: the single serving chips, the one hundred calorie cookies, the
- 23:08Speaker 10: little snack packs, any of those are gonna be great choices.
- 23:11Speaker 2: And I want to talk about the partnership we have
- 23:13Speaker 2: with Union Mission here. They I mean, they step up
- 23:17Speaker 2: to the plate anytime that we do this. Jason and
- 23:19Speaker 2: the crew just say where when what do I need
- 23:22Speaker 2: to do? And those guys are And again, if people
- 23:26Speaker 2: make cash donations or whatever, we never see it. I
- 23:29Speaker 2: mean the only time we see it is when we say, Okay, Jason,
- 23:31Speaker 2: here's cash. Yeah, you know, so we give it to them.
- 23:34Speaker 10: Yeah, if you hand it to me through your driver's
- 23:35Speaker 10: side window, it literally goes from my hand directly into
- 23:39Speaker 10: Jason or Brian's hand, or you know, we got like
- 23:41Speaker 10: an earmarked envelope that's going into the cab of the truck.
- 23:45Speaker 10: They make the money move. Part of that repeatable structure
- 23:48Speaker 10: that I was talking about working with Union Mission all
- 23:50Speaker 10: these times is they know what they're doing when it
- 23:53Speaker 10: comes to collecting and sorting and distributing. They've got this
- 23:56Speaker 10: down to it's a well oiled machine, the erstwhile Marine.
- 24:01Speaker 10: So you know, they got my thumbs up in terms
- 24:03Speaker 10: of their processes.
- 24:04Speaker 2: This will.
- 24:06Speaker 10: This, all of this will be turned around very quickly
- 24:09Speaker 10: for kids who are out of school and hungry.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Now, how exactly somebody asked me this last time, Robin.
- 24:13Speaker 2: I don't know whether you know this or not. Maybe
- 24:15Speaker 2: we'll get Jason on between now and next Thursday. But
- 24:18Speaker 2: exactly how does that distribution work for them? I mean
- 24:22Speaker 2: on they once they will we give them all the stuff.
- 24:25Speaker 2: We'll have a big giant truck out here at a
- 24:26Speaker 2: park and we'll have to have the giant box struck.
- 24:28Speaker 2: If not you we'll put the stuff in there. We
- 24:31Speaker 2: do the cash, they do the QR codes or whatever.
- 24:33Speaker 2: How exactly does Union Mission go about distribute?
- 24:36Speaker 10: Union Mission is a service provider, for want of a
- 24:40Speaker 10: better way to describe it, a clearinghouse if you will, for
- 24:42Speaker 10: all of the area food banks. They work statewide, so
- 24:46Speaker 10: from Bluefield to Martinsburg, from Huntington to Morgantown, everywhere in between.
- 24:53Speaker 10: They are working with food banks. And every West Virginia
- 24:57Speaker 10: County's got school kids who are not going to eat
- 25:00Speaker 10: this summer without programs like this. They work in conjunction
- 25:05Speaker 10: with you know, if you hear about the you know
- 25:06Speaker 10: the the backpack Buddy.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Program here or you know this program.
- 25:11Speaker 10: To feed all of these different names, all of these
- 25:14Speaker 10: different shingles that communities have hung out. Union Mission is
- 25:19Speaker 10: really the backbone behind that and provide so when you
- 25:22Speaker 10: hear about those programs, this is feeding pun intended into
- 25:26Speaker 10: those programs.
- 25:27Speaker 2: Yeah. Again, we're talking with Rob Real from our sister stations,
- 25:31Speaker 2: Superstar Country ninety six to one K would you asked
- 25:33Speaker 2: a Dave Island show on five eighty line broad to
- 25:34Speaker 2: you and party by Pinnacle Consultants. When environmental questions come
- 25:37Speaker 2: up at a building, Pinnacle provides clear answers. They specialize
- 25:40Speaker 2: and as best just led mold and indoor air quality issues,
- 25:43Speaker 2: accredited lab testing based right here in say to West
- 25:46Speaker 2: Virginia to check out more Pinnacle Court dot net helping
- 25:48Speaker 2: you understand your environment because what you don't know can
- 25:51Speaker 2: hurt you. It's all next Thursday the fourth, seven aml
- 25:54Speaker 2: six pm on our lot eleven eleven Virginia, Tree, DSE
- 25:57Speaker 2: and Charleston. Don't even have to get out of your car.
- 25:59Speaker 2: We can check the items, we can take the cash.
- 26:01Speaker 2: We got the QR code. You can go to we
- 26:03Speaker 2: feedpeople dot com you need more information about that, We'll
- 26:05Speaker 2: have information available you already do on all of the
- 26:09Speaker 2: social media sites for all of our stations from KWS
- 26:12Speaker 2: to on down to the V one hundred, all of
- 26:14Speaker 2: them the mountain, they'll all be on there. I was
- 26:16Speaker 2: trying to think of some things that probably wouldn't be good,
- 26:20Speaker 2: probably candy bars because they might because it would melt.
- 26:23Speaker 2: It would melt. Yeah, I mean it's gonna be Sonny
- 26:25Speaker 2: in seventy eight.
- 26:26Speaker 1: And so.
- 26:28Speaker 10: That's not to say that we're ruling out all candy.
- 26:31Speaker 10: I mean, you know, what's the deal with m and ms.
- 26:32Speaker 10: They melt in your mouth, not in your hand. So
- 26:36Speaker 10: there's a reason m and ms were put in military
- 26:38Speaker 10: rations for almost a century. So things that won't melt,
- 26:44Speaker 10: things that won't spoil. It's that non perishable is important.
- 26:48Speaker 10: So you know you're not gonna bring us. You're not
- 26:49Speaker 10: gonna bring us a dozen eggs and a jar of
- 26:51Speaker 10: mayonnaise and a gallon of milk. Probably, although then if
- 26:55Speaker 10: you do, we'll Union mission will figure out how.
- 26:58Speaker 2: To figure it out. A text here, but somebody said
- 27:01Speaker 2: many people don't think about Dollar Tree for snacks. They
- 27:04Speaker 2: sell multi packs of peanut butter and crackers, cheese and crackers,
- 27:07Speaker 2: boxes of animal crackers and cookies, as well as fruit
- 27:10Speaker 2: packs for a buck twenty five each.
- 27:11Speaker 10: Yeah, I will visit one of those box stores you mentioned,
- 27:15Speaker 10: because I have a membership there, and I will I'll
- 27:18Speaker 10: go late in the evening because that's the time to
- 27:19Speaker 10: go in Southridge, and I will load a cart to
- 27:23Speaker 10: the brim with just stuff I like, you know, the
- 27:28Speaker 10: the peanut butter pretzel nuggets.
- 27:30Speaker 2: I love those.
- 27:31Speaker 10: I just take a handful of those, and those are
- 27:33Speaker 10: girl dinners sometimes around my place after I have this
- 27:36Speaker 10: dreaded salad that men in our fifties now need to eat.
- 27:40Speaker 10: But I just I pick and choose things I would
- 27:43Speaker 10: eat as a kid, things that I know my nieces
- 27:46Speaker 10: and nephews eight or now my grand nieces and grand.
- 27:48Speaker 2: Nephews will eat.
- 27:50Speaker 10: And I just stack that up in the cart and
- 27:52Speaker 10: that'll get us started. On Thursday the fourth, I can
- 27:55Speaker 10: encourage you to just do the same thing.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's not hard to do. And again it
- 28:01Speaker 2: is something you know, we offer the hour seven am
- 28:04Speaker 2: until six pm. But if something happens that you can't
- 28:07Speaker 2: make it on that day, you're out of town. Whatever,
- 28:09Speaker 2: if you want to bring things to the station ahead
- 28:11Speaker 2: of time, Tracy, Penelope's very good to me about this.
- 28:14Speaker 2: She's very good about that sort of thing. So Tracy,
- 28:16Speaker 2: I'm sure we'll be happy to take those items and
- 28:19Speaker 2: we'll talk about it, yeah, several times between now and then.
- 28:22Speaker 2: All right, so again, repeating next Thursday, one week from
- 28:25Speaker 2: this Thursday, June of fourth, seven am till six pm
- 28:28Speaker 2: on our light eleven eleven for genius redecent Charleston. Don't
- 28:32Speaker 2: even have to get out of your car. We will
- 28:34Speaker 2: be out there.
- 28:35Speaker 10: The number, yeah, the number of folks who roll up
- 28:37Speaker 10: and just pop the hatch on them an EVA and
- 28:39Speaker 10: we get to get it.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Plus it gives us an opportunity to go through their cars.
- 28:42Speaker 2: That's always cool too.
- 28:43Speaker 1: I'm just gonna say, to get some exercise.
- 28:45Speaker 2: I'm Kaddy, and I'm kidding here. That wrong Union mission.
- 28:48Speaker 2: Big shout out to Jason and the folks, and I'll
- 28:50Speaker 2: remind me. I'll try to schedule Jason on the show
- 28:52Speaker 2: as we get a little bit closer, And of course
- 28:54Speaker 2: that day you and Jason will come in as you
- 28:55Speaker 2: normally do. We'll bring in some of the other animals.
- 28:57Speaker 2: No pun intended from the other.
- 28:59Speaker 10: Still, it's it's one of the wonderful byproducts of events
- 29:03Speaker 10: like this, is the camaraderie of it that we get
- 29:05Speaker 10: to hang out on the parking lot for twelve hours
- 29:06Speaker 10: together and have Shenanigans. Yeah, and we love Shenanigans all right.
- 29:09Speaker 10: And again Union mission helping us out on this. We
- 29:11Speaker 10: feed people dot com.
- 29:12Speaker 2: We'll have information available on all of our station social
- 29:16Speaker 2: media websites, so on and so and so forth. Rob
- 29:18Speaker 2: Reel from Superstar Country ninety six to one KWS appreciate
- 29:21Speaker 2: you being here, man, Thanks you sure welcome. We'll take

- 33:29Speaker 2: because you can't have enough car show talk, it's that
- 33:32Speaker 2: time of year, going to tell you about another one,
- 33:34Speaker 2: also in Winfield, this one in the month of June
- 33:38Speaker 2: that is coming up on tomorrow's show. Danny Jones is here. Hey,
- 33:42Speaker 2: knowing my friend, I'm doing fine.
- 33:44Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 33:44Speaker 2: Ever make it over to the drag Racing Hall of
- 33:47Speaker 2: Fame that they have in Winfield.
- 33:48Speaker 6: I'm an inductee over there. Okay, I'm a member.
- 33:53Speaker 2: Uh huh. I didn't know whether you'd us. It's really cool.
- 33:55Speaker 2: I mean, well, well you should go. Should come over
- 33:58Speaker 2: Saturday because I'll be there Saturday. I won't be in
- 34:01Speaker 2: town leaving on a jet plane, are you or as
- 34:06Speaker 2: Ela Cool j would say. Going back to Cali, Cali, Well, Cali,
- 34:11Speaker 2: there you go. Okay, all right, So a couple of
- 34:15Speaker 2: things I wanted to cover with you, mister Jones. I
- 34:18Speaker 2: haven't had you on. I was looking at my schedule.
- 34:20Speaker 2: When you go on vacation, you know, man, you know,
- 34:24Speaker 2: everything gets all screwed up. We don't know what day
- 34:25Speaker 2: it is. So i'd go back and look at my
- 34:27Speaker 2: calendar and say, when did I have Last time I
- 34:29Speaker 2: had you on was the Monday before the election. I
- 34:31Speaker 2: haven't had you on my show. You were on last week,
- 34:34Speaker 2: but you have been on with me since the day
- 34:36Speaker 2: before the election, and so I'm just kind of curious
- 34:40Speaker 2: any takeaways from you on the primary election in West
- 34:44Speaker 2: Virginia and how does the Republican Party repair itself after
- 34:49Speaker 2: all of the back and forth during the primary.
- 34:51Speaker 6: And some of these really ugly races. Well, it doesn't.
- 34:54Speaker 6: It's two parties now, it's the I guess it's the
- 35:00Speaker 6: Mega Party and then the Sensible Party. And of course
- 35:06Speaker 6: I'm with the Speaker and Senator to Kubo and now.
- 35:13Speaker 2: You say the Maga Party and the Sensible Party?
- 35:16Speaker 13: Why why?
- 35:17Speaker 5: Why?
- 35:20Speaker 2: That's that's why have you on the show. Yeah, you know,
- 35:22Speaker 2: for your opinion. Why why why do you think it's
- 35:25Speaker 2: come down to the maga versus the sensible in your words.
- 35:29Speaker 6: Well, I mean take the ads that print that would
- 35:36Speaker 6: run against the Kubo talking about him being part of
- 35:41Speaker 6: the transgender team. I mean, what you know, Governor Moore
- 35:47Speaker 6: told me something one time, He said, do you think
- 35:50Speaker 6: people that run those kinds of ads are interested in you?
- 35:55Speaker 6: In other words, are they interested in the state. No,
- 35:57Speaker 6: they're interested in themselves. Now that ab was probably run
- 36:03Speaker 6: on his behalf, but he could have stopped it.
- 36:06Speaker 2: You know, well, here is somebody that's a lot more
- 36:10Speaker 2: learned on this can explain this to me. You can't,
- 36:14Speaker 2: and I've said this since day one, you can't necessarily
- 36:18Speaker 2: stop it, but you have the ability to, as John
- 36:22Speaker 2: McCain did, to come out and say, hey, I do
- 36:26Speaker 2: not go along with that. I'm running against Danny Jones,
- 36:30Speaker 2: that Danny and I differ on the economy, Danny and
- 36:33Speaker 2: I differ on this, and that Danny Jones is not
- 36:35Speaker 2: a horrible human being.
- 36:37Speaker 6: Governor Underwood did it when he was running against Charlotte
- 36:41Speaker 6: and the Senatorial Campaign Committee, a national run by Alphonse
- 36:49Speaker 6: de Motto, ran some negative stuff about Charlotte, and they said,
- 36:56Speaker 6: do you agree with that? He said no.
- 36:58Speaker 5: You know.
- 36:59Speaker 6: Now I don't know if he took it down or not,
- 37:01Speaker 6: but do.
- 37:02Speaker 2: You Somebody brought this up to me the other day
- 37:06Speaker 2: about the whole Democrats for Underwood thing. Do you remember that?
- 37:09Speaker 2: I mean, that was a that was a big thing,
- 37:11Speaker 2: especially it was a big thing in southern West Virginia
- 37:14Speaker 2: because that was in what ninety six?
- 37:17Speaker 6: Yes, and wasn't part of it. Neither was Joe. Now
- 37:21Speaker 6: I'm sure what happened was Joe told Charlotte she said
- 37:29Speaker 6: some unkind things about him that that he said weren't true,
- 37:34Speaker 6: and she said a few. He said, if you apologize,
- 37:37Speaker 6: all endorse was she wouldn't apologize, so he didn't endorse.
- 37:41Speaker 2: So he had nothing to do with Democrats for Underwood them, No, okay,
- 37:45Speaker 2: but they all voted for under Oh yeah, yeah. But
- 37:48Speaker 2: I mean it was an actual I mean I remember
- 37:50Speaker 2: in southern West Virginia the political leaders down there at
- 37:52Speaker 2: that time were all Democrats because I mean, hell, there
- 37:55Speaker 2: were no Republicans in Logan County at that time. Every
- 37:58Speaker 2: all the major political people down there, from the Rick
- 38:01Speaker 2: Abrahams and so on and so forth. That ran politics
- 38:04Speaker 2: in Logan County. They all had Democrats for underwood stickers.
- 38:08Speaker 2: They had Democrats for underwood you know, uh, pig roast
- 38:13Speaker 2: and so on.
- 38:14Speaker 6: For Charlotte was never gonna win.
- 38:17Speaker 2: Yeah, what do you think that is?
- 38:20Speaker 6: Well, she was too far over. Yeah. And Cecil was
- 38:28Speaker 6: well liked, and he was He won the same reason
- 38:32Speaker 6: he wanted fifty six, because because of a fight within
- 38:39Speaker 6: the Democrat party and because Mallahan got involved in a
- 38:49Speaker 6: a scandal at Pruney Town. I don't remember what it
- 38:55Speaker 6: was about, but he was the and Cecil, I mean
- 39:01Speaker 6: in fifty six he looked like a movie star. Yeah,
- 39:04Speaker 6: he just you know, he became a delegate in nineteen
- 39:09Speaker 6: forty four, you know, and then.
- 39:13Speaker 2: And then he had been out of the political He
- 39:16Speaker 2: never left the public spotlight, but he was out of
- 39:18Speaker 2: the political realm for a number of years. And then
- 39:20Speaker 2: suddenly he's like in ninety six, he came out of nowhere.
- 39:23Speaker 6: He was came and got him.
- 39:24Speaker 2: He was West Virginia's youngest governor then later became West
- 39:27Speaker 2: Virginia's oldest.
- 39:29Speaker 6: I wrote him a letter, and nobody had had him
- 39:33Speaker 6: and I wrote him a letter, and my parents had
- 39:35Speaker 6: supported him very generously. What do you and he came,
- 39:41Speaker 6: he drove down here money to move on my talk show.
- 39:44Speaker 2: What do you think of people like, let's say the
- 39:47Speaker 2: governor or Senate President Randy Smith or whomever saying, Look,
- 39:52Speaker 2: my and I'm very much paraphrasing, he's saying, my job
- 39:55Speaker 2: is to get the best people that are going to
- 39:57Speaker 2: support my agenda. That's why I got involved in these primaries.
- 40:05Speaker 6: Well those are not my people, so okay, But.
- 40:09Speaker 2: I mean, do you agree with the overall concept or
- 40:11Speaker 2: do you disagree with it of the governor saying and
- 40:14Speaker 2: whoever the governor is saying, Look.
- 40:17Speaker 6: He didn't do it to be for somebody. It was
- 40:19Speaker 6: against people. He wanted maga thinkers and he didn't want
- 40:28Speaker 6: anybody that is smartest Tokogo. I'm sorry that Mark Harmon lost.
- 40:37Speaker 6: I was really hoping. I served with him and he's
- 40:41Speaker 6: a really close friend of mine. But I think I
- 40:47Speaker 6: think the governor made a big mistake.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Well, and at the end of the day, you know,
- 40:52Speaker 2: both sides are going to take victory laps, but in
- 40:54Speaker 2: my opinion and the opinion of others, really neither side won.
- 40:58Speaker 2: So I mean, because the governor lost, the governor lost
- 41:01Speaker 2: the Supreme Court.
- 41:01Speaker 6: It doesn't matter when you get involved in stuff like that.
- 41:05Speaker 6: And it's going on right today in Texas. Let's suppose
- 41:11Speaker 6: that that crook Ken Paxton wins the primary. That's Trump's candidate.
- 41:18Speaker 6: The guy's edgy, he's he's been impeach he almost got convicted.
- 41:24Speaker 2: With more baggage than an airport conveyor belt.
- 41:27Speaker 6: Yeah, and you got a really good man with John Cornyn,
- 41:31Speaker 6: and he was with Trump ninety nine point three percent
- 41:34Speaker 6: of the time. He's the decent guy and Trump endorsed.
- 41:40Speaker 5: Well.
- 41:41Speaker 6: If Ken Paxton wins, that gives Tallarico or whatever his
- 41:47Speaker 6: name is, that gives him a good shot.
- 41:50Speaker 2: I get a little bit nervous, Danny when I hear,
- 41:53Speaker 2: whether it's President Trump or any leader, using the term loyalty,
- 41:58Speaker 2: because when and that's one of the things a President
- 42:00Speaker 2: Trump said about the race in Texas. He said talking
- 42:02Speaker 2: about corn and he said, he's not he's he's been,
- 42:05Speaker 2: he's not been loyal to know. I don't, I don't
- 42:09Speaker 2: to me that just and I don't care who the
- 42:12Speaker 2: president is. That just reeks of something saying he's not
- 42:16Speaker 2: loyal to me. It almost that sounds a little cult
- 42:19Speaker 2: like to me.
- 42:20Speaker 6: Just me, Yeah, no, I agree with you. And why
- 42:23Speaker 6: he would do it? First thing, why would he get
- 42:26Speaker 6: involved in it? Why not just stay out of it?
- 42:29Speaker 6: Why do you have to get involved in a Republican
- 42:31Speaker 6: primary anyway?
- 42:34Speaker 2: Do you think there's many people you included on this
- 42:39Speaker 2: show and other places have said that come the the
- 42:44Speaker 2: general election that the Republican Party in UH as a
- 42:48Speaker 2: whole is in trouble. Uh uh, And especially if the
- 42:52Speaker 2: prices continue doing what they're doing now going up in
- 42:55Speaker 2: the war in Iran, which may some sources say that
- 42:59Speaker 2: we may be getting close to some sort of an
- 43:01Speaker 2: agreement there.
- 43:01Speaker 6: To end on them.
- 43:03Speaker 2: Last night, Yeah, that that doesn't really go very far.
- 43:05Speaker 6: And he said over the weekend, Oh, we're real close,
- 43:09Speaker 6: and then last night he let loose on him.
- 43:12Speaker 2: So what happens come November?
- 43:15Speaker 6: Oh, it's going to be a blood bad you think so?
- 43:17Speaker 5: Mm hmm.
- 43:19Speaker 6: Unless he can get get it out, get prices down.
- 43:23Speaker 6: It's really hard with exception of gas prices, it's really
- 43:28Speaker 6: hard to get prices down unless there is a recession,
- 43:34Speaker 6: and you don't want a recession. And no, I think
- 43:39Speaker 6: it's going to be really bad. And if and if
- 43:42Speaker 6: you ken Paxson puts that Texas seat and play and
- 43:49Speaker 6: with John Cornyn, Cornyan would win the general. Remember how
- 43:54Speaker 6: many times do you win the primary and then lose
- 43:56Speaker 6: the general? Thank you ever? Dirkshon?
- 44:00Speaker 2: Do you think what do you think about massigaining beat
- 44:02Speaker 2: in Kentucky?
- 44:04Speaker 6: I'm not surprised, and quite frankly, I'm not a fan.
- 44:09Speaker 6: He's anti Semite. He said he wanted to congratulate his opponent,
- 44:15Speaker 6: but he was in Tel Aviv. I couldn't. I mean,
- 44:23Speaker 6: I admire anybody's independence, but that's taken a little far
- 44:27Speaker 6: from me. That's one I was. I guess I was
- 44:30Speaker 6: with Trump on that one.
- 44:33Speaker 2: Danny Jones is here. We need to take a break.

- 47:48Speaker 2: Doing the break, you were talking about House Speaker Handshaw and.
- 47:52Speaker 6: I mean to get him upset. Yeah, you early have
- 47:55Speaker 6: to do.
- 47:55Speaker 2: He's an even keel kind of a guy for the
- 47:57Speaker 2: most part.
- 47:58Speaker 6: He's the kind of guy you need to beaker.
- 48:01Speaker 2: And he said we we will remember that's what he said.
- 48:04Speaker 6: And I think he sways a lot of votes. And
- 48:08Speaker 6: of course the Democrats are just happy as cherry stone

- 48:18Speaker 6: I think he's a good man. I'm glad he's there.
- 48:22Speaker 2: What do you think about Jeff Kesler getting beat in
- 48:24Speaker 2: the primary? And that kind of surprised me. He got
- 48:26Speaker 2: beating the primary?
- 48:27Speaker 6: And what was he running for senate?
- 48:30Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 48:30Speaker 6: Who beat him?
- 48:32Speaker 2: I do not know the lady's name off the top
- 48:33Speaker 2: of my head, but he was he was running. Uh yeah,
- 48:37Speaker 2: he was running for US Senate. And a lot of
- 48:38Speaker 2: people were already taking a look at what they thought
- 48:42Speaker 2: would be a matchup between Senators Shelley Moore Capito and
- 48:44Speaker 2: Jeff Kestler for the US Senate. I mean a lot
- 48:47Speaker 2: of people.
- 48:47Speaker 6: I didn't know, and I don't know who beat it.
- 48:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know.
- 48:53Speaker 6: To know that's a bad sign.
- 48:55Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, I'm a talkser host. I should know that.
- 48:57Speaker 2: But I've been on vacation. Let me tell you what
- 48:59Speaker 2: I did this would you this week?
- 49:03Speaker 6: You know how I get in the weeds on stuff
- 49:07Speaker 6: on prime video. There's so much stuff on the Waco
- 49:15Speaker 6: siege that happened in nineteen ninety three, and I'll listened
- 49:22Speaker 6: to it all afternoon. I'll watch it all afternoon, and
- 49:26Speaker 6: there's all kinds of stuff. I think the best one
- 49:30Speaker 6: was it cost you a dollar ninety nine to rent.
- 49:32Speaker 6: It was Waco rules of engagement, and I just all
- 49:41Speaker 6: that stuff came back to me. And what people don't
- 49:44Speaker 6: know is is that the planning for that raid came
- 49:51Speaker 6: at the Murrow Federal Building in Oklahoma City, and the
- 50:04Speaker 6: Waco was burned down on April nineteenth. I think, what
- 50:10Speaker 6: day do you think they blew up the Murrow build?
- 50:12Speaker 2: Was it the same day?
- 50:13Speaker 6: Same day?
- 50:14Speaker 2: Okay?
- 50:14Speaker 6: And I did not realize it for that reason, huh.
- 50:18Speaker 6: And that was the Timothy McVeigh said, well, one hundred
- 50:24Speaker 6: and sixty eight to one, I think I won. Well
- 50:28Speaker 6: he was cold, he's cold.
- 50:32Speaker 2: At that time, we were seeing I mean, we'd never
- 50:34Speaker 2: really because this is obviously well before nine to eleven, Danny,
