- 0:05Speaker 1: He Hello friends from across the nation and around the world,
- 0:08Speaker 1: and welcome to a special Saturday night episode.
- 0:12Speaker 2: I've taken on the weekends.
- 0:13Speaker 1: To putting together compilations of some of my favorite episodes,
- 0:17Speaker 1: and tonight is no different. Last week I brought to
- 0:20Speaker 1: you Kid Wizard Parts one and two, and I'm going
- 0:24Speaker 1: to continue that trend with another Kid Wizard super story
- 0:28Speaker 1: with parts three and four. If you have an idea
- 0:32Speaker 1: for Kid Wizard, I really want to get the series
- 0:34Speaker 1: going again. I want to go further with it, so
- 0:36Speaker 1: please leave me a message at speak Pipe or fill
- 0:39Speaker 1: out the Google form. But now it's that time again.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Time to get as comfy as you can in that bed,
- 0:48Speaker 1: close your eyes and imagine yourself doing what the kid
- 0:52Speaker 1: in the story does. You wake up and look around
- 0:57Speaker 1: the room. This is this place, you wonder, and then
- 1:03Speaker 1: you remember you're inside your dimensional backpack, some sort of
- 1:10Speaker 1: pocket dimension accessed through the backpack, where you're perfectly safe
- 1:15Speaker 1: and you have everything you need. Bedroom, kitchen, living room,
- 1:21Speaker 1: you know, anything you could really imagine. You head over
- 1:24Speaker 1: to the kitchen and eat a quick breakfast before climbing
- 1:29Speaker 1: up the large ladder that leads out the top of
- 1:32Speaker 1: the backpack. When you get to the top of the ladder,
- 1:37Speaker 1: you one zip the backpack from the inside and you
- 1:41Speaker 1: crawl your way out. It's very strange crawling out of
- 1:47Speaker 1: a tiny little backpack, but it's also pretty cool. You
- 1:53Speaker 1: zip the backpack back up and throw it on your back.
- 1:57Speaker 1: You look around and see that you're still in the
- 2:00Speaker 1: practice area, although Martin's not here yet for some reason,
- 2:05Speaker 1: probably still sleeping. You grab your wand out of your backpack,
- 2:11Speaker 1: and you decide it's time to practice your skills. Yesterday
- 2:16Speaker 1: you not only learned to harness your ice powers, but
- 2:21Speaker 1: after ending up in a duel with some kid named
- 2:25Speaker 1: Tyrannus Rexington, you also learned how to control heat. Maybe
- 2:33Speaker 1: you better practice, you think. You hold the wand up
- 2:39Speaker 1: in the air. You start by closing your eyes and
- 2:43Speaker 1: taking a few deep breaths, relaxing any of your muscles,
- 2:49Speaker 1: and just focusing in your mind. You focus on the
- 2:54Speaker 1: feeling of coldness, the same feeling you had when you
- 2:58Speaker 1: first made things for freeze around you, and a chill
- 3:02Speaker 1: runs through your body. You harness the energy through your
- 3:08Speaker 1: arms and into the wand, shooting out a huge plume
- 3:13Speaker 1: of icey air. Everything it hits is immediately covered in
- 3:18Speaker 1: a thin layer of ice. You draw a little pattern
- 3:22Speaker 1: on the wall using your ice powers, before eventually letting
- 3:26Speaker 1: the beam of freezing cold disappear. Now, I wonder how
- 3:32Speaker 1: I did that ice thing, you say to yourself.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Cold always feels.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Like things are slowing down, almost stopping. But hot was
- 3:46Speaker 1: as if they were speeding up, or spinning faster, maybe
- 3:50Speaker 1: even just vibrating faster. You close your eyes and instead
- 3:57Speaker 1: of imagining the sensation of cold, you start to imagine
- 4:02Speaker 1: the sensation of heat. Feeling very hot on a hot
- 4:08Speaker 1: summer day, the feeling of a campfire against your arms
- 4:13Speaker 1: and your hands. You focus on that energy and allow
- 4:19Speaker 1: it to pass through your entire body. Your ears start
- 4:25Speaker 1: to feel warm, and a little bead of sweat appears
- 4:30Speaker 1: on your forehead. You focus the energy through your wand
- 4:36Speaker 1: just like you did with the cold, and out of
- 4:39Speaker 1: the tip of the wand shoots a huge beam of
- 4:43Speaker 1: fire energy. It flies across the room, instantly melting the
- 4:48Speaker 1: little pattern of ice you drew on the wall.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Whoa cool.
- 4:55Speaker 1: You spend the next little while shifting between cold and heat,
- 5:01Speaker 1: changing between slowing down the vibration of things around you
- 5:07Speaker 1: to speeding it up and making it hotter. The more
- 5:12Speaker 1: you practice, the more the feeling gets ingrained in your mind.
- 5:18Speaker 1: You're easily able to switch from hot to cold, from
- 5:21Speaker 1: cold to hot, from ice to fire. You're not really
- 5:26Speaker 1: sure how much time passes as you practice, and you
- 5:30Speaker 1: hear a voice come from behind you. Hey kid, good job.
- 5:36Speaker 1: I was just gonna say we should start with mastering
- 5:39Speaker 1: the fire thing, but it seems like you've figured it out.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Tell me what does it feel like to create the fire?
- 5:50Speaker 1: Martin asks, Uh, Well, cold feels still, as if the
- 5:57Speaker 1: air around me is barely moving at all. But hot
- 6:02Speaker 1: feels well fast, as if everything's moving and incredibly quickly.
- 6:12Speaker 1: I see you figured it out. Well, you're probably right.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Most of us believe that what you're really doing is
- 6:21Speaker 1: changing the way the atoms themselves vibrate, reaching down to
- 6:28Speaker 1: the atomic level, and well speeding things up or slowing
- 6:34Speaker 1: them down. Right now, you're mostly doing it with the air,
- 6:39Speaker 1: but with practice, you'll find that you can do the
- 6:43Speaker 1: same thing to any kind of matter. I mean, you
- 6:48Speaker 1: do it to the ground, you create lava, and you
- 6:52Speaker 1: do it to wood you.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Create well fire.
- 6:55Speaker 1: I guess now the question is what should we learned
- 7:00Speaker 1: to do next. Now, when you think wizarding, what kind
- 7:06Speaker 1: of powers do you think of? Martin asks, Uh, well,
- 7:12Speaker 1: I you know, like moving things with your mind?
- 7:15Speaker 2: I guess you respond.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Yeah, good call, kid. That might be the next perfect
- 7:23Speaker 1: step for you. After all, you were able to collect
- 7:28Speaker 1: that water in the air and turn it into ice particles. Yeah, yeah,
- 7:35Speaker 1: let's try that. Well, if we're gonna do that, I
- 7:39Speaker 1: think we need to move somewhere else.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Carpet, I need you.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Suddenly, a magic carpet flies out of the Wizard's backpack
- 7:50Speaker 1: and floats right beside him. He steps on top of it,
- 7:55Speaker 1: as if it's some sort of surfboard. Well are you coming,
- 8:00Speaker 1: he says, Uh, how How do I just summon your
- 8:07Speaker 1: magic carpet by asking for it?
- 8:10Speaker 2: And I'll know what you're talking about.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Okay, a carpet, I need you, you say. Your backpack
- 8:19Speaker 1: on zips behind you, and out of it flies the
- 8:23Speaker 1: same magic carpet that brought you to the Wizarding World
- 8:27Speaker 1: in the first place. It hovers right beside you, and
- 8:32Speaker 1: just like Martin, did, you step on top of it
- 8:36Speaker 1: instead of sitting down standing. Seems like a whole new
- 8:41Speaker 1: experience as you look at your feet. You see that
- 8:46Speaker 1: the magic carpet is knitting little, uh well, binding like
- 8:52Speaker 1: things over top of it, strapping your feet to the
- 8:55Speaker 1: carpet to ensure you.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Don't fly off.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Follow me, Martin says, this is always a blast. Martin
- 9:04Speaker 1: zooms out of the training room, flying on the magic
- 9:08Speaker 1: carpet as if he's surfing or wakeboarding over the air.
- 9:14Speaker 1: You will yourself forward as well, and the carpet does
- 9:18Speaker 1: exactly what you think it'll do. It follows Martin. You
- 9:23Speaker 1: blast through the castle and out the doors, and then
- 9:28Speaker 1: you start rising higher and higher above the ground until
- 9:33Speaker 1: you're flying just below the clouds, over top of huge
- 9:38Speaker 1: and vast areas of forest, magical forest, of course, with
- 9:43Speaker 1: all kinds of magical creatures to be seen, Unicorns and griffins,
- 9:49Speaker 1: floating from place to place, ferries, and you're pretty sure
- 9:54Speaker 1: you even see some rock trolls down below. Flying on
- 9:59Speaker 1: a magic carpet like this feels really, really fun. It
- 10:04Speaker 1: beats sitting down on the thing. You hold your arms
- 10:08Speaker 1: out in the air as you zoom over top of
- 10:12Speaker 1: lakes and trees until you and Martin come to a
- 10:16Speaker 1: large mountainous region with a whole bunch of rocks everywhere.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Martin hovers down, lower and closer to the ground. He
- 10:27Speaker 1: hops off of his magic carpet, which immediately disappears into
- 10:32Speaker 1: his backpack. You carefully imagine yourself lowering down to the
- 10:37Speaker 1: ground as well, and the carpet does exactly what your
- 10:42Speaker 1: mind commands it to do. When you think of jumping off,
- 10:47Speaker 1: the little knitted bindings just kind of release themselves and
- 10:52Speaker 1: you easily hop onto the ground. Now I like using
- 10:57Speaker 1: this place to teach Telekinese because well, there's a lot
- 11:02Speaker 1: of things to pick up.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Now.
- 11:05Speaker 1: There's two levels to telekinesis, beginner telekinesis and advanced. Today
- 11:14Speaker 1: we'll start with beginner telekinesis, and that's when you use
- 11:18Speaker 1: your own body or your own wand to attract or
- 11:24Speaker 1: repel objects. Watch this, Martin waves his wand around in
- 11:30Speaker 1: the air and then points it at a rock. The
- 11:34Speaker 1: rock begins to tremble, and then it starts to fly
- 11:38Speaker 1: directly at Martin's wand just before it hits the wand,
- 11:43Speaker 1: he reaches his hand out and grabs onto the rock.
- 11:47Speaker 1: You see what I did was I used my wand
- 11:52Speaker 1: to well create a little field of magnetism, a type
- 11:59Speaker 1: of magnetism that attracts that very rock. Now you try.
- 12:06Speaker 1: The first step is to use your wand to connect
- 12:10Speaker 1: your energy field to that of a rock, and just
- 12:14Speaker 1: pick one of these laying around. You look around the
- 12:18Speaker 1: area and you see in the distance what seems to
- 12:21Speaker 1: be a perfectly good rock to try things out on.
- 12:26Speaker 1: You center your mind once again by taking long, slow,
- 12:30Speaker 1: deep breaths, and then you point your wand towards the
- 12:35Speaker 1: rock in question. You allow your energy, your consciousness, to
- 12:42Speaker 1: travel through the wand and connect itself to the rock.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Soon you can feel the rock's energy.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Good.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Now, what I want you to do is kind of
- 13:00Speaker 1: match the rock's energy. Imagine yourself becoming like a magnet,
- 13:07Speaker 1: a magnet that's programmed to let the very energy of
- 13:11Speaker 1: the rock flight towards you. You do exactly what Martin
- 13:17Speaker 1: tells you. You try to imagine yourself as a magnet.
- 13:24Speaker 1: You focus on the vibration of the rock, and you
- 13:28Speaker 1: match the vibration with your wand, And as you do,
- 13:33Speaker 1: the rock begins to tremble. You focus even harder on
- 13:38Speaker 1: matching the exact vibration, and sure enough, the rock shoots
- 13:45Speaker 1: towards you and hits you directly.
- 13:49Speaker 2: In the stomach. Oh, you say, oh.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Yeah, you gotta watch out for that. Yeah, this is
- 13:58Speaker 1: in a very controlled way to do things. Martin says,
- 14:03Speaker 1: maybe we should have tried with shooting the rock away
- 14:06Speaker 1: from you instead. Uh, maybe, you respond, well, we'll try that.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Next. Watch this.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Martin waves his wand again at a rock in the distance.
- 14:21Speaker 1: This time the rock begins to tumble and rumble, and
- 14:26Speaker 1: then it shoots off into the distance. See, all I
- 14:31Speaker 1: did was the opposite. Instead of trying to attract it,
- 14:35Speaker 1: you find the vibration that sends it flying away from you.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Now you try, you.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Do just that, weaving your wand around, focusing on another
- 14:48Speaker 1: rock and trying to twist the vibration of your wand
- 14:53Speaker 1: until you feel the rock rumbling again and then shooting
- 14:58Speaker 1: directly away from you. Wow, kid, that normally takes months
- 15:04Speaker 1: of practice. Honestly, I'm starting to believe you're some kind
- 15:08Speaker 1: of prodigy. Eh, never mind. Now we're gonna need to
- 15:13Speaker 1: practice until muscle memory kicks in allowing you to do this.
- 15:19Speaker 1: It will, and that's what you do. You practice for
- 15:24Speaker 1: hours and hours, pulling a rock towards you and then
- 15:28Speaker 1: changing the vibration to shoot it off. Into the distance
- 15:32Speaker 1: before too long. It's pretty automatic. You can just reach
- 15:38Speaker 1: your wand out to something and pull it towards you
- 15:41Speaker 1: or shoot it in the other direction. Well, I think
- 15:45Speaker 1: you got that part down. The next part is levitating
- 15:50Speaker 1: a rock. It's something that seems simple, but it's much harder,
- 15:58Speaker 1: and it's also where the advanced technique comes into play.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Oh well, what do you mean.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Well, there's two ways you can move a rock. The
- 16:12Speaker 1: first way, and the only way most wizards know how,
- 16:16Speaker 1: is by connecting it to your own energy field and
- 16:20Speaker 1: then kind of using yourself to lift it up. Watch this,
- 16:27Speaker 1: Martin reaches his Wanda once again, connects to a rock
- 16:32Speaker 1: with his mind, and the rock starts to rumble and
- 16:36Speaker 1: then it lifts up off the ground. Although it seems
- 16:40Speaker 1: like it's a very difficult thing for Martin to do, lifting.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Rocks like this works.
- 16:48Speaker 1: You just kind of connect your power to it and
- 16:52Speaker 1: instead of pulling it towards you or pushing it away,
- 16:56Speaker 1: you just connect your energy and lift it up up.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Oh cool, But why does it look so difficult to do?
- 17:06Speaker 1: Martin drops the rock. Well, that's because you're using yourself
- 17:12Speaker 1: as a pivot point. And let me show you pick
- 17:16Speaker 1: up that rock right there, not with your wand just
- 17:19Speaker 1: with your hands. You walk over to a large rock
- 17:24Speaker 1: and you lift it up off the ground. It's pretty heavy,
- 17:28Speaker 1: but I mean not too heavy to lift.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Good.
- 17:32Speaker 1: Now put it down. You do as he says and
- 17:36Speaker 1: put it down. Then Martin waves his wand in the
- 17:40Speaker 1: air he summons some sort of plant energy out of
- 17:45Speaker 1: the ground, causing a branch to shoot straight up out
- 17:50Speaker 1: of the ground and into the air. The branch solidifies,
- 17:55Speaker 1: and then he hovers it up off the ground and
- 17:59Speaker 1: jam one end of it into the rock, merging the
- 18:03Speaker 1: stick and the rock together. All right, Now, hold on
- 18:08Speaker 1: to the very end of this stick and try to lift.
- 18:12Speaker 2: The rock up.
- 18:14Speaker 1: You grab the far end of the stick attached to
- 18:18Speaker 1: the same rock. You just lift it up. You do
- 18:22Speaker 1: your best from the far end of the stick to
- 18:25Speaker 1: lift up the rock on the other side. But no
- 18:28Speaker 1: matter how hard you try, you can't get the thing
- 18:32Speaker 1: to budge. See, it's all leverage. Lifting a heavy object
- 18:38Speaker 1: from far away puts a lot on your own body.
- 18:42Speaker 1: That's why the advanced technique is much more important. But
- 18:48Speaker 1: you probably won't figure it out today. We'll just learn
- 18:52Speaker 1: the basic one. Oh okay, well, how does the advanced
- 18:57Speaker 1: one work? You ask, well, Well, instead of using yourself
- 19:02Speaker 1: as a pivot point, you use the object. You change
- 19:07Speaker 1: the object instead of yourself repelling it from the ground
- 19:12Speaker 1: or from other objects in the area. It takes a
- 19:16Speaker 1: lot of concentration, but the result is effortless levitation. Martin
- 19:24Speaker 1: whirls his wand around in the air. He focuses his mind,
- 19:30Speaker 1: puts both of his hands out to the side, and
- 19:34Speaker 1: as he lifts them up, so to a whole bunch
- 19:38Speaker 1: of rocks surrounding you. Rocks of all shapes and sizes,
- 19:44Speaker 1: boulders and stones, every one of them lifts up off
- 19:49Speaker 1: the ground and begins to hover around you and then
- 19:53Speaker 1: move around in a circle. That's amazing, you say. Martin
- 20:00Speaker 1: drops the rocks and opens his eyes again, and yeah,
- 20:04Speaker 1: I'm pretty amazing. Well, uh, anyway, you try the basic
- 20:08Speaker 1: technique first, Martin says. You do as he asks. You
- 20:14Speaker 1: reach out your wand you connect to a rock just
- 20:17Speaker 1: like you did before, and you hold the rock in place.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Then you slowly raise your arm up with the rocks
- 20:27Speaker 1: still connected to your energy field, as if you've connected
- 20:32Speaker 1: an invisible pole to the rock. You slowly lift it
- 20:37Speaker 1: up off the ground. But just as you expected, it's
- 20:42Speaker 1: really hard to lift your arm up, as if you're
- 20:46Speaker 1: lifting a rock on the end of a pole. Just
- 20:49Speaker 1: as Martin demonstrated, you move the rock from place to
- 20:55Speaker 1: place and then put it down your arm feeling completely exhausted.
- 21:01Speaker 1: And that's when you hear a voice.
- 21:04Speaker 3: Well, if it isn't my friend from yesterday, well, kid,
- 21:11Speaker 3: it looks like you can barely even raise a.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Bebyl you look to see the wizard kid from yesterday,
- 21:21Speaker 1: Tyrannus Rexington, surrounded by a whole bunch of his friends.
- 21:27Speaker 1: They all burst out laughing, directed well directly at you.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Oh is it too hard to lift a little bebel?
- 21:38Speaker 2: They say to you, mockingly.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Ugh, it's not hard. I'm just learning. Why do you
- 21:45Speaker 1: go away? I don't go away because of people like you,
- 21:51Speaker 1: Tyrannus says, people who think anyone can become a wizard.
- 21:58Speaker 1: It's a slap in the face to we wizarding families
- 22:02Speaker 1: who have existed for centuries. Well, if your wizarding family
- 22:08Speaker 1: is so great, and I bet you can do better
- 22:12Speaker 1: at telekinesis than the kid here, Martin says, Have course
- 22:18Speaker 1: I can. I am the descendant of a line of
- 22:24Speaker 1: proud wizards. I grew up learning telekinesis. Well, if that's
- 22:31Speaker 1: the case, then prove it. We'll have a little competition.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Whichever one of you can lift the biggest rock wins.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Martin says. You look at him in disbelief. You literally
- 22:47Speaker 1: just learned how to move things with your mind. You're
- 22:50Speaker 1: not ready for a competition. Martin just looks at you
- 22:55Speaker 1: and winks, ready, kid, Oh okay, you say. You look
- 23:02Speaker 1: around the area and you see what you believe is
- 23:06Speaker 1: the biggest rock you can probably lift up from here.
- 23:11Speaker 1: You wave your wand you connect to the rock, and
- 23:15Speaker 1: then you begin to lift the rock up off the ground,
- 23:19Speaker 1: using an amazing amount of strength from your arms and legs.
- 23:24Speaker 1: But you're able to lift it up. When it's up
- 23:27Speaker 1: to a certain height, you release your connection and the
- 23:31Speaker 1: rock falls down. That's nothing, Turana says, stepping up beside you,
- 23:40Speaker 1: He too reaches his wand out connects to one of
- 23:43Speaker 1: the rocks, and with great effort, he's able to lift
- 23:48Speaker 1: it up off the ground. But it looks as though
- 23:52Speaker 1: he's using every piece of muscle.
- 23:55Speaker 2: In his body.
- 23:56Speaker 1: He's practically vibrating to get the thing up off the ground.
- 24:01Speaker 1: The only issue is you're not sure you can lift
- 24:05Speaker 1: anything heavier, not using the beginner method. Anyways, I'd like
- 24:11Speaker 1: to see you do better than that, Tyrannus says. You
- 24:17Speaker 1: look around the area and you see a gigantic boulder
- 24:22Speaker 1: sitting beside you. You close your eyes and you focus
- 24:28Speaker 1: on the boulder, connecting your wand directly to it. This time,
- 24:34Speaker 1: instead of creating some sort of stable connection to the rock,
- 24:40Speaker 1: you become one.
- 24:42Speaker 2: With the rock.
- 24:44Speaker 1: You feel the vibration of the rock and then the
- 24:49Speaker 1: vibration of the ground. You imagine the rock well coming
- 24:56Speaker 1: to the right vibration to repel itself away from the ground,
- 25:02Speaker 1: like two magnets of the same polarity. As you slowly
- 25:07Speaker 1: adjust the vibration of the rock up and down, you
- 25:13Speaker 1: eventually feel a place that starts to tremble. You focus
- 25:19Speaker 1: in getting the vibration even more and more precise, until,
- 25:25Speaker 1: to your astonishment and that of everyone around you, the
- 25:30Speaker 1: huge boulder starts to shake, and then it lifts up
- 25:35Speaker 1: off the ground, floating in the air directly between you
- 25:40Speaker 1: and Tyrannus. You close your eyes and allow the boulder
- 25:44Speaker 1: to fall down once again. It crashes with a huge thump,
- 25:50Speaker 1: and you look at Tyrannus. Well can you beat that?
- 25:54Speaker 1: You ask? Tyrannus looks at you, and he looks at
- 25:59Speaker 1: the other kids with determination in his eyes. He flings
- 26:05Speaker 1: his wand directly at the boulder. He focuses all of
- 26:09Speaker 1: his energy, and then he bends his knees, straightens out
- 26:15Speaker 1: his arms, connecting himself to the boulder. He does everything
- 26:20Speaker 1: he can, using the muscles of his legs and his
- 26:23Speaker 1: arms and his core to pick the huge boulder up
- 26:27Speaker 1: off the ground. But no matter how hard he tries,
- 26:31Speaker 1: or how strong his connection to the boulder is, he
- 26:34Speaker 1: just doesn't have the muscle strength to do it. He's
- 26:38Speaker 1: clearly using the beginner technique, you think. With arms and
- 26:44Speaker 1: legs shaking and sweat beating down on his forehead, he
- 26:49Speaker 1: eventually gives up and falls back onto the ground.
- 26:53Speaker 3: Well, I you clearly cheated, and I will prove it in.
- 26:59Speaker 1: The future, Tyrannus Rexington says, looking at you. He spits
- 27:05Speaker 1: on the ground and twirls in the other direction. Together,
- 27:09Speaker 1: he and his friends all jump aboard their own magic
- 27:12Speaker 1: carpets and fly off into the distance. Those guys are terrible,
- 27:19Speaker 1: Martin says, yeah, they really are. You respond, but.
- 27:25Speaker 2: That was so cool.
- 27:27Speaker 1: I've never seen anyone who can make a boulder that
- 27:31Speaker 1: size float with that amount of training. Good job, kid,
- 27:36Speaker 1: Martin says, but uh, we've been training long enough if
- 27:40Speaker 1: you ask me. Martin pulls out his little backpack and
- 27:45Speaker 1: opens it up. He climbs inside and begins to go
- 27:49Speaker 1: down his own little ladder, disappearing to seemingly nowhere. The
- 27:56Speaker 1: backpack then zips itself up, floats up in the air,
- 27:59Speaker 1: and disappears from existence. Right, I guess it is getting late,
- 28:07Speaker 1: you say to yourself. You one zip your own backpack
- 28:12Speaker 1: and step inside, climbing down the little ladder that leads
- 28:17Speaker 1: to a huge room inside the pocket dimension. As you
- 28:23Speaker 1: climb down the ladder, you see the backpack zip itself
- 28:27Speaker 1: up above you and presumably disappear from existence as well.
- 28:33Speaker 2: You lay down in your bed.
- 28:35Speaker 1: And you see the magic carpet sitting at the foot
- 28:38Speaker 1: of it.
- 28:39Speaker 2: It looks up.
- 28:40Speaker 1: At you and twists what could presumably be its head
- 28:44Speaker 1: to the side, and then places it back down on
- 28:49Speaker 1: the ground and begins to lightly snore. Weird, you think,
- 28:56Speaker 1: But you're too tired to worry about that. The lights
- 29:01Speaker 1: inside the backpack pocket dimension dim and you put your
- 29:06Speaker 1: head down on the pillow. As soon as you hit it,
- 29:11Speaker 1: your mind begins to wander off. With each breath, your
- 29:17Speaker 1: arms and legs relax more and more, sinking down deeper
- 29:22Speaker 1: and deeper into the mattress and allowing your mind to
- 29:27Speaker 1: wander off to dreams of new thoughts and new adventures
- 29:32Speaker 1: to come. Good night, everyone. Imagine yourself waking up once
- 29:39Speaker 1: again inside your little pocket dimension bedroom. Strangely, every day,
- 29:46Speaker 1: when you wake up, it starts to look more and
- 29:49Speaker 1: more like your own bedroom, only expanded with a little
- 29:53Speaker 1: living room area and kitchen area. Maybe it's doing that
- 29:58Speaker 1: on purpose, wonder you grab some breakfast from the fully
- 30:04Speaker 1: stocked kitchen. Strangely, it always has all of your favorites
- 30:09Speaker 1: and you never run out.
- 30:12Speaker 2: When you're done.
- 30:12Speaker 1: With that, you head back up the ladder that leads
- 30:16Speaker 1: you out of the little backpack area. As you get
- 30:19Speaker 1: closer to the top, the zipper unzips itself, revealing another room.
- 30:27Speaker 1: You climb out of the backpack and you find yourself
- 30:30Speaker 1: in the same training room where you and Martin have
- 30:33Speaker 1: been hanging out a lot lately. So far, you've learned
- 30:38Speaker 1: to control ice, magic, fire and heat, magic and of
- 30:44Speaker 1: course moving objects with your mind telekinesis. For the last
- 30:49Speaker 1: few days, you've been practicing all of those things a lot.
- 30:54Speaker 1: In fact, every waking minute. You can now shoot fire
- 31:00Speaker 1: or an ice with ease, change the temperature of different
- 31:03Speaker 1: things around you, and by the time you quit yesterday,
- 31:09Speaker 1: you were able to lift up several large rocks at
- 31:12Speaker 1: the same time using your telekinesis.
- 31:16Speaker 2: As you look.
- 31:16Speaker 1: Around the training area, you see a whole bunch of
- 31:20Speaker 1: boulders spread throughout it, and you decide to practice. While
- 31:24Speaker 1: you wait for Martin to get up, You close your
- 31:29Speaker 1: eyes and focus your energy once again. You allow your
- 31:34Speaker 1: consciousness to expand, to become one with the rocks that
- 31:39Speaker 1: surround you, and as you do, you use the muscle
- 31:44Speaker 1: memory you've developed to will the rocks to lift up
- 31:48Speaker 1: into the air. You begin changing the direction they're moving
- 31:54Speaker 1: with just a subtle thought and a change of vibration
- 31:58Speaker 1: to the rock itself.
- 32:01Speaker 2: You spin the.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Rocks around you in circles. You float them up and
- 32:06Speaker 1: down and side to side. It just gets easier and
- 32:11Speaker 1: easier to do, the same as practicing any other skill
- 32:15Speaker 1: you've ever practiced. You no longer have to think about
- 32:19Speaker 1: it so much, you just kind of expect it to happen,
- 32:23Speaker 1: and it does. Good job, kid, You hear a voice
- 32:28Speaker 1: say from behind you. You turn around to see a
- 32:32Speaker 1: very tall, very bald looking wizard with a pretty cool beard, Martin.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Good morning, you say to Martin, good morning, And I'm
- 32:45Speaker 1: glad to see you practicing. And I've been pretty amazed
- 32:49Speaker 1: with what you're able to do.
- 32:51Speaker 2: Kid.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Most people barely learn this number of powers in a
- 32:55Speaker 1: lifetime of studying you. Well, you seem to be able
- 33:01Speaker 1: to pick up anything a lot like me, which is
- 33:06Speaker 1: incredibly impressive, if I do say so myself. With that,
- 33:12Speaker 1: a strange alert starts to go off. Martin reaches into
- 33:17Speaker 1: his pocket and pulls out his magic wand. The wand
- 33:21Speaker 1: is well, it's blinking a bright red light. Martin lifts
- 33:27Speaker 1: the wand up and flicks it.
- 33:29Speaker 2: A little bit.
- 33:30Speaker 1: The red light flies off the wand and transforms into
- 33:34Speaker 1: a large hologram of another wizard. Oh finally, well, there's
- 33:42Speaker 1: some trouble Martin. We need you quickly. Some rogue wizards
- 33:48Speaker 1: are causing trouble in the real world. I'm not sure
- 33:53Speaker 1: we'll be able to stop them without you. They've created
- 33:57Speaker 1: an army of rock Ogres. Oh dear, I'll be right there,
- 34:05Speaker 1: Martin responds, weaving the wand again, causing the hologram to disappear. Well, kid,
- 34:13Speaker 1: I guess it's time to go back to the real world.
- 34:16Speaker 1: And haven't been there in a while. Ah, oh yeah,
- 34:21Speaker 1: you respond, Do my parents think I'm missing? I haven't
- 34:28Speaker 1: been back there in all but weeks. No, I forgot
- 34:32Speaker 1: to mention. We took care of that. When the magic
- 34:36Speaker 1: carpet came to get you. We replaced you with an illusion.
- 34:40Speaker 1: I mean it does everything you're supposed to do, goes
- 34:43Speaker 1: to school, does the chores, that sort of thing when
- 34:47Speaker 1: you want to go home, and it'll just kind of disappear.
- 34:50Speaker 1: But until then, I mean, it'll take care of everything.
- 34:56Speaker 1: Uh cool, I think, you respond.
- 35:01Speaker 2: I'm not sure how.
- 35:03Speaker 1: To think about being replaced by some sort of magical illusion.
- 35:09Speaker 2: Anyway, we gotta get going. There's Rockocres.
- 35:12Speaker 1: Martin summons his magic carpet out of his bag. It
- 35:17Speaker 1: floats right beside him, and he steps on top of
- 35:20Speaker 1: it a lot like he's riding a surfboard. Once again,
- 35:24Speaker 1: you do the same, summoning your magic carpet right beside you.
- 35:30Speaker 1: You throw your backpack back on your back and climb
- 35:34Speaker 1: aboard the magic carpet. Oh yeah, kid, And I've been
- 35:39Speaker 1: meaning to ask you, why are you always keeping that
- 35:41Speaker 1: backpack full size? Isn't it kind of annoying to carry
- 35:45Speaker 1: it all the time? Martin asks, Uh, what do you
- 35:50Speaker 1: mean keeping it full size? You respond, while the dimensional
- 35:56Speaker 1: backpacks are dimensional that he can shrink and expand and
- 36:00Speaker 1: whenever you want them to look at mine.
- 36:04Speaker 2: Martin shows you his bag.
- 36:07Speaker 1: He sort of places it between his two hands and
- 36:10Speaker 1: smushes it together. As he does, the bag instantly shrinks
- 36:16Speaker 1: until it's the size of a little keychain. He moves
- 36:20Speaker 1: his hands the opposite way, expanding them apart from the bag,
- 36:24Speaker 1: and the bag grows, almost like how you can grow
- 36:29Speaker 1: and shrink things using a tablet or touchscreen of almost
- 36:34Speaker 1: any kind these days. Curious, you take your backpack off.
- 36:41Speaker 1: You hold it with one hand underneath, and you take
- 36:44Speaker 1: the other hand policing it on top. You slowly move
- 36:49Speaker 1: your hands together, and sure enough, the backpack shrinks down easily.
- 36:56Speaker 1: When you press your hands fully together and then beat them,
- 37:01Speaker 1: you find a little tiny keychain like backpack and the
- 37:05Speaker 1: palm of your one hand. You take the little backpack
- 37:10Speaker 1: and place it in your pocket. Uh, that'll come in handy,
- 37:15Speaker 1: you say. You climb aboard your magic carpet, stepping on
- 37:20Speaker 1: it once again like it's some sort of surfboard. The
- 37:25Speaker 1: strings and fibers of the carpet immediately shoot out, wrapping
- 37:28Speaker 1: around your feet, holding you on tight. Following Martin, you
- 37:34Speaker 1: fly out of the castle, out into the larger magical
- 37:38Speaker 1: world surrounding the wizarding School, and back toward the large
- 37:44Speaker 1: ancient tree that you originally entered through. As you approach
- 37:48Speaker 1: the large old tree, a little doorway begins to glow
- 37:53Speaker 1: in its trunk. Martin flies through without any hesitation, and
- 37:58Speaker 1: you decide to follow them. You find yourself in a
- 38:02Speaker 1: colorful tunnel of some kind, floating left and right and
- 38:06Speaker 1: up and down, before eventually reaching another light on the
- 38:10Speaker 1: other side. You fly through the light, and you find
- 38:14Speaker 1: yourself in a large forest. Back in the real world.
- 38:20Speaker 1: You follow Martin high up above the trees and then
- 38:24Speaker 1: above the clouds. As you continue to fly, he starts
- 38:29Speaker 1: to talk to you. Ah, I forgot to mention a
- 38:32Speaker 1: few things about being in the real world, Martin says, well,
- 38:38Speaker 1: the thing is magic is sometimes a little harder to
- 38:42Speaker 1: do here.
- 38:44Speaker 3: It is.
- 38:45Speaker 1: Why is that, you ask, Well, it's because in reality,
- 38:52Speaker 1: all humans have magic, they just don't know it. Their
- 38:56Speaker 1: consciousness itself creates a field that shoots out of them,
- 39:02Speaker 1: a field made of beliefs and expectations. Uh, it kind
- 39:08Speaker 1: of works to keep reality the way it is. Man
- 39:12Speaker 1: with a whole bunch of people together, I'm all believing
- 39:15Speaker 1: and expecting the same thing, you know, like gravity to exist,
- 39:21Speaker 1: stuff like that. Well, it has a way of holding
- 39:25Speaker 1: reality in place. It makes it a lot harder to
- 39:29Speaker 1: do magic. Well, at least at first. Oh okay, so
- 39:35Speaker 1: I won't be able to do magic here.
- 39:38Speaker 2: That's not what I said.
- 39:40Speaker 1: I said it could be harder to do magic here,
- 39:44Speaker 1: particularly if you're surrounded by a whole bunch of normal
- 39:48Speaker 1: folk who don't believe in the stuff. Their disbelief can
- 39:52Speaker 1: have a way of kind of throwing it off.
- 39:56Speaker 2: I mean not when you're.
- 39:58Speaker 1: As experienced as I am. Eventually you can reach a
- 40:02Speaker 1: point where your conscious decision making is way more powerful
- 40:08Speaker 1: than anyone's subconscious decision making. But at first it can
- 40:13Speaker 1: be kind of tricky. So I'm not going to be
- 40:16Speaker 1: able to do magic here. Of course you'll be able
- 40:20Speaker 1: to do magic here. It's just not always as easy. Luckily,
- 40:26Speaker 1: in a situation like this, the first thing the wizard's
- 40:29Speaker 1: counsel will do is create a barrier around the scene,
- 40:33Speaker 1: a barrier to well stop anybody from being able to
- 40:38Speaker 1: see what's going on, and to kind of subtlely influence
- 40:43Speaker 1: their minds to believe they don't want to go in
- 40:46Speaker 1: that direction anymore. So in this case, you should be fine.
- 40:52Speaker 1: Just wanted you to know in case you went back
- 40:55Speaker 1: to the real world on your own one time and well,
- 40:59Speaker 1: things didn't like you wanted them to.
- 41:02Speaker 2: Uh.
- 41:03Speaker 1: Thanks, that is good to know. You continue to fly
- 41:08Speaker 1: high over the clouds, the sun gently hitting your skin,
- 41:13Speaker 1: making you feel very relaxed and oh kind of happy.
- 41:17Speaker 2: Really.
- 41:20Speaker 1: Eventually Martin starts descending down through the clouds, so you
- 41:25Speaker 1: follow them. You find yourself at the coast right beside
- 41:30Speaker 1: the ocean. There's a huge beach down below you, with
- 41:35Speaker 1: waves beautifully hitting the shore. You can't really see anything else,
- 41:42Speaker 1: and then in front of you the world looks a
- 41:44Speaker 1: little wobbly, as if there's glass or something. You and
- 41:51Speaker 1: Martin pass through this strange looking area and when you
- 41:56Speaker 1: pop out on the other side. You realize that it
- 42:00Speaker 1: must have been the shield that the Wizard's council put
- 42:04Speaker 1: around the place, because inside there is a lot going on.
- 42:10Speaker 1: There's wizards flying in every different direction, most of them
- 42:14Speaker 1: riding magic carpets, but a couple of them riding things
- 42:18Speaker 1: that look sort of like skateboards. An army of ogres
- 42:22Speaker 1: is down below fighting back against the wizards, and in
- 42:27Speaker 1: the center of the ogres are a group of well
- 42:31Speaker 1: other wizards wearing all black. The wizards from both sides
- 42:36Speaker 1: are shooting fire and lightning and ice. It's a pretty
- 42:41Speaker 1: crazy battle. Martin lands in front of a huge group
- 42:46Speaker 1: of ogres and you land beside him, pulling out your
- 42:50Speaker 1: wand and ready to defend yourself. All right, kid, you
- 42:55Speaker 1: can take out as many ogres as you can before
- 42:57Speaker 1: I get to them.
- 42:58Speaker 2: All h K, you say.
- 43:03Speaker 1: You start to look for the different ogres, and then
- 43:07Speaker 1: you decide to use your ice powers to get rid
- 43:10Speaker 1: of some of them. You start shooting fire and ice
- 43:14Speaker 1: in all different directions, hitting some of the ogres. You
- 43:18Speaker 1: find that ice is the most effective, slowing them down
- 43:22Speaker 1: and casing them in a large thing of ice, I mean,
- 43:25Speaker 1: is a pretty good way to stop them, so you
- 43:28Speaker 1: focus on that. Once you've successfully frozen most of the
- 43:32Speaker 1: ogres in your surrounding area, you look over to see
- 43:36Speaker 1: what Martin's up to. You watch as Martin reaches into
- 43:41Speaker 1: his wizarding robes and pulls out a large ziplock bag.
- 43:47Speaker 1: He opens the ziplock bag, closes his eyes, and taps
- 43:52Speaker 1: his wand the contents of the bag light up, and
- 43:57Speaker 1: then they begin to fly out of the bag in
- 44:00Speaker 1: all different directions. What are those like seeds or something?
- 44:07Speaker 1: You wonder as you watch the amazing scene. The seeds,
- 44:12Speaker 1: still glowing, hit the ground all around the battlefield. Martin
- 44:18Speaker 1: raises his wand up in the air. It begins to
- 44:21Speaker 1: glow a bright green color, and then out of each
- 44:26Speaker 1: of the spots where the little seeds hit the ground,
- 44:30Speaker 1: vines and trees and branches shoot out at amazing speed.
- 44:37Speaker 1: The branches and vines start to zigzag their way through
- 44:40Speaker 1: the battlefield. They start to wrap up the ogres, lifting
- 44:46Speaker 1: them up in the air. There's hundreds and hundreds of vines,
- 44:51Speaker 1: each one going and growing in a different direction, and
- 44:55Speaker 1: each one reaching one of the little rock creatures, wrapping
- 45:01Speaker 1: it up and then lifting it up into the air.
- 45:05Speaker 1: One by one, the rock ogres are wrapped up tight
- 45:10Speaker 1: and lifted high above the battlefield. Soon enough, Martin has
- 45:17Speaker 1: amazingly gotten rid of almost every single one of the
- 45:21Speaker 1: rock ocres, and then the vines go for the wizards
- 45:25Speaker 1: in the middle. The wizards start using their fire magic
- 45:30Speaker 1: to try to burn the vines away from them. Some
- 45:33Speaker 1: even shoot a couple bolts of lightning. They destroy some
- 45:38Speaker 1: of the branches, but there's just too many of them.
- 45:41Speaker 1: They wrap around the wizard's ankles and then arms, stripping
- 45:46Speaker 1: them of their wands. Soon enough, every single one of
- 45:50Speaker 1: the wizards is wrapped up in vines as well. The
- 45:55Speaker 1: battle is effectively over with all of the bad guy
- 46:00Speaker 1: is wrapped up in vines that are standing tall in
- 46:03Speaker 1: the middle of the battlefield. Another wizard, the same one
- 46:08Speaker 1: that was on the holographic image, lands beside Martin. Oh
- 46:13Speaker 1: good work, I knew we needed you. That made things
- 46:18Speaker 1: much much easier. Martin, thank you very very much. Yeah, no,
- 46:25Speaker 1: don't worry about it, we'll take care of the rest.
- 46:30Speaker 2: Thank you again.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Martin jumps back on his magic carpet and flies up
- 46:37Speaker 1: beside you. That was incredible, you say, yeah, I'm pretty incredible.
- 46:46Speaker 1: Martin responds, how did you do that? You ask, I'll
- 46:51Speaker 1: tell you on the way back. Come on, you and
- 46:55Speaker 1: Martin fly high up above the clouds, once again heading
- 46:59Speaker 1: back for the entrance to the Magical Wizarding School. Well,
- 47:05Speaker 1: you see, when I was a kid, the first power
- 47:09Speaker 1: I manifested was a nature power of sorts, the ability
- 47:14Speaker 1: to grow things quicker. Now, I was about nine years
- 47:19Speaker 1: old and i'd planted this little maple tree. I'm from Canada.
- 47:23Speaker 1: You see, man, the maple tree was growing, but I
- 47:28Speaker 1: wanted it to grow faster. One day, I was just
- 47:32Speaker 1: sitting there and staring at it, wanting it to grow
- 47:36Speaker 1: and grow and grow. And then something changed. It was
- 47:42Speaker 1: like I could see the tree vibrating. I could see
- 47:47Speaker 1: the open space between its different atoms. I could see
- 47:51Speaker 1: the electrical field itself that kept the thing together. At first,
- 47:58Speaker 1: I just watched, but then I started to imagine the
- 48:02Speaker 1: field going faster, and to my surprise, it did.
- 48:09Speaker 2: The trees started to.
- 48:10Speaker 1: Grow and grow faster than I could actually control. Before long,
- 48:17Speaker 1: it got too big to be in the pod, and well,
- 48:20Speaker 1: it just kind of fell over. That tree didn't live, unfortunately,
- 48:25Speaker 1: But I slowly learned that I could make things grow quickly.
- 48:30Speaker 1: Imagine just being able to turn a tomato seed into
- 48:34Speaker 1: a full tomato plant with tomatoes on it, and it
- 48:38Speaker 1: was pretty cool. Eventually people caught on to me, though,
- 48:42Speaker 1: and invited me to Well this place where they trained
- 48:47Speaker 1: me to be a wizard.
- 48:50Speaker 2: That's amazing. Can you teach me?
- 48:55Speaker 1: Well, maybe you've been able to learn everything else so far,
- 49:00Speaker 1: but I don't think we should start with the whole
- 49:02Speaker 1: growing things quickly thing, and it's probably more important to
- 49:07Speaker 1: learn how to move and bend existing trees and branches.
- 49:12Speaker 1: Follow me, Martin says, Descending out.
- 49:15Speaker 2: Of the sky.
- 49:17Speaker 1: You see the large tree below you, the same one
- 49:21Speaker 1: that provides entrance to the magical realm once again. You
- 49:27Speaker 1: and Martin fly through the tunnel and back to the
- 49:30Speaker 1: Magical Wizarding School. Instead of taking you back towards the castle,
- 49:36Speaker 1: Martin directs you into the deep, Deep forest, the forest
- 49:41Speaker 1: that surrounds the school itself. He lands in a clearing
- 49:47Speaker 1: surrounded by a whole bunch of old trees and vines.
- 49:52Speaker 1: You both climb off of your magic carpets. All right, Well,
- 49:57Speaker 1: the first step to nature magic is this. Yeah, it's
- 50:02Speaker 1: a lot like the telekinesis you've already been doing, and
- 50:07Speaker 1: in fact, well it is sort of telekinesis itself. At times,
- 50:14Speaker 1: you reach out your energy into the surrounding trees, and
- 50:20Speaker 1: then in the same way you move the rocks, you
- 50:25Speaker 1: allow the trees to move. The only difference is that
- 50:31Speaker 1: before you can really change the shape of a tree,
- 50:35Speaker 1: you have to give it permission to well release its
- 50:40Speaker 1: rigid connection and become malleable again. Watch this, Martin closes
- 50:48Speaker 1: his eyes and reaches his wand up into the air.
- 50:52Speaker 1: You see a beam of light shoot out of the
- 50:54Speaker 1: wand to connect itself to the tree. The tree begins
- 50:59Speaker 1: to go and then it starts to creak, Its branches
- 51:06Speaker 1: start changing directions and moving around. Then Martin connects his
- 51:11Speaker 1: magic to other trees as well, until five different trees,
- 51:17Speaker 1: all standing in front of you are glowing a bright
- 51:20Speaker 1: green color. All of them start to twist and turn
- 51:25Speaker 1: and bend, their branches start to move together and to
- 51:31Speaker 1: kind of intertwine themselves into a new shape. In front
- 51:36Speaker 1: of your very eyes, the trees come together to create
- 51:41Speaker 1: what looks like a large log cabin made entirely out
- 51:47Speaker 1: of trees and branches that are still living yeah, see,
- 51:53Speaker 1: just like that, Martin says. Now you try, I mean,
- 51:58Speaker 1: you don't have to make a house or anything. Just
- 52:00Speaker 1: try to move a branch or something, all right.
- 52:04Speaker 2: You say.
- 52:06Speaker 1: You look over to the side and see a smaller tree,
- 52:10Speaker 1: something that looks like it'll be a little easier to move.
- 52:15Speaker 1: You close your eyes, empty your mind, and you take long, slow,
- 52:20Speaker 1: deep breaths. You imagine your consciousness spreading out from your
- 52:27Speaker 1: body and joining itself with the tree. You lift your
- 52:32Speaker 1: wand up in the air and point it towards the tree,
- 52:36Speaker 1: allowing a connection between your wand and the tree itself,
- 52:42Speaker 1: just like it did for Martin. The tree begins to glow.
- 52:48Speaker 1: You find that you can subtly influence the tree, just
- 52:52Speaker 1: like you do rocks. You try to move the branches,
- 52:56Speaker 1: but it feels like they're gonna break or snapp don't forget.
- 53:03Speaker 1: You have to give the tree permission to move. Trees
- 53:07Speaker 1: are kind of rigid. They've decided to stay as they are.
- 53:13Speaker 1: But I find that if you give them permission, they'll
- 53:16Speaker 1: kind of release that rigid connection, and well, you can
- 53:21Speaker 1: re solidify it when you're done. You try to imagine
- 53:26Speaker 1: what Martin's telling you. You communicate with the tree. It's okay, tree,
- 53:34Speaker 1: you think you can bend. It's totally fine to bend.
- 53:38Speaker 1: It feels really good. You begin moving your body back
- 53:43Speaker 1: and forth like you are a swinging tree, moving with
- 53:47Speaker 1: the wind, and slowly you feel the tree release. What
- 53:54Speaker 1: used to feel difficult to move now feels like easily
- 53:59Speaker 1: malleable ropes or something like that. You open your eyes
- 54:05Speaker 1: and you watch as the branches of the tree change direction.
- 54:10Speaker 1: You make the tree wave left and right and back
- 54:14Speaker 1: and forth. You wind the tree up almost into a braid,
- 54:20Speaker 1: standing tall and twisted, and then you release all the
- 54:24Speaker 1: branches once again, allowing them to flow outward. You release
- 54:31Speaker 1: your connection to the tree, and you look over at Martin. Wow,
- 54:35Speaker 1: good job, kid. Again, I didn't think you'd be able
- 54:39Speaker 1: to do that so quickly. Well can you teach me
- 54:43Speaker 1: how to make them grow and move now?
- 54:46Speaker 2: You ask?
- 54:48Speaker 1: Uh, Well, probably not today. That's a whole new can
- 54:53Speaker 1: of worms. In fact, you're kind of getting into time
- 54:56Speaker 1: magic at that point, which is dangerous to say the least.
- 55:03Speaker 1: Oh really, yeah, maybe tomorrow if some kid writes in
- 55:09Speaker 1: and asks for it. Anyways, for now, it's time to
- 55:13Speaker 1: go to bed, Martin reaches into his pocket and pulls
- 55:17Speaker 1: out his bag. He puts his hands on either side
- 55:20Speaker 1: and expands the bag back to its normal size. He
- 55:24Speaker 1: places it on the ground, opens up the zippers, jumps
- 55:28Speaker 1: up in the air, and slides inside the bag. The
- 55:33Speaker 1: bag zips itself up and disappears from existence once again.
- 55:39Speaker 1: You reluctantly decide to do the same. You reach into
- 55:44Speaker 1: your pocket and find the little backpack keychain. You hold
- 55:48Speaker 1: it in the palm of one of your hands and
- 55:50Speaker 1: place the other hand over top of it. You imagine
- 55:54Speaker 1: the backpack expanding, and as you pull your hands apart,
- 55:58Speaker 1: it does just that, growing back to its normal backpack size,
- 56:03Speaker 1: or maybe even a little larger. You one zip the
- 56:07Speaker 1: zippers and you climb down the ladder. Once again, the
- 56:12Speaker 1: zippers close over top of you, as the backpack presumably
- 56:16Speaker 1: disappears from existence as well. You head directly to the
- 56:21Speaker 1: comfortable bed, a bed that looks a lot more like
- 56:25Speaker 1: your bed than it even did this morning. As you
- 56:29Speaker 1: climb inside, you can tell how comfortable it is. The
- 56:35Speaker 1: lights dim in the room almost automatically as you pull
- 56:39Speaker 1: the covers up over top of yourself and allow your
- 56:43Speaker 1: head to hit the comfortable pillow below you. You close
- 56:48Speaker 1: your eyes and you start to focus on your breath,
- 56:54Speaker 1: and with each breath, you begin to sink down deeper
- 56:59Speaker 1: and deeper into the mattress, allowing your heavy eyes to
- 57:06Speaker 1: close and your heavy arms and legs just sink down
- 57:12Speaker 1: and relax. And with each breath, your mind too becomes
- 57:21Speaker 1: more and more relaxed, allowing it to drift off to
- 57:26Speaker 1: dreams of new adventures and new things to come. Good Night, everyone,
