- 1:02you, Greg, Big Kenny, the funny Man, and our man,
- 1:06the Bad Producer, all in the building today, Big Kenny and the Bad
- 1:11Producer dressing a light like a eighties rap group rocking the True Religion. But
- 1:19you know that was a style for their age group. Excuse me, oh,
- 1:25y'all got the same kind of you know fifty you know in that same
- 1:27group, you know, the True Religion board the rap group kind of like,
- 1:37hey, look it down, production long as you our back, we
- 1:42take the rackets songs, but good morning out, They're glad to be here
- 1:48with you. Bigger weekend in sports, it's hard to find with so much
- 1:53NBA action going on. As I said, the Miami Grand Prix, the
- 1:59Kentuck one hundred and fiftyth Kentucky Derby. When I see numbers like one fifty,
- 2:05I always just try to go back and imagine what Kentucky Derby number one
- 2:08look like. Was there any stands? Were they just in a field?
- 2:15You know that first one? You know, you never know what? Did
- 2:17they just have people staying in a circle and the horse run around it?
- 2:22They might not have had a track. It was just called watching the horses,
- 2:24Watching the horses. Let's ride with We're just gonna go watch because we're
- 2:30talking about what eighteen seventy five in there somewhere in there in that range,
- 2:38wouldn't that be seventy five, seventy eight, seventy five, seventy four,
- 2:44the one fifty so and then I go back. So it definitely was a
- 2:47daytime race. It was America. Did we even did civilization that exist in
- 2:54eighteen seventy five? I would think instead of being like, let's go watch
- 2:58horses, it be like I'm hungry. Let's and there was probably just some
- 3:01field horses. Yeah, let's build some sheltered, a lot of hair,
- 3:06a lot of flies. You know they wouldn't. Yeah, it started off
- 3:08as a way to clear land, just trample this these weeds down. But
- 3:15it would have been around eighteen seventy five, seventy six that if it's I
- 3:19don't know if they missed the year, you know, I don't know how
- 3:22this consecutive been one hundred of consecutive, one hundred and fifty years, because
- 3:25you know baseball, it would have beencause of World War Two. They took
- 3:29some couple of years off, but so I don't know. We had to
- 3:31take sea. But in that eighteen seventies range would have been the first Kentucky
- 3:38Derby. And uh what were they serving, Big Kenny at the bourbon?
- 3:44I don't know what they were were this this year? No, no,
- 3:46no, no, at the first one, the first, I don't know
- 3:49what they were serving, but I can tell you who was serving. Now.
- 3:53We were free sive Kentucky. Give us a free, give us us
- 3:59free in Kentucky. Ki bus us three ribs our first time free. We
- 4:08at the race. We even to eat nine is Watercrest sandwiches, y'all ever
- 4:13had ribs? And from there it was on because they're supposed to have what's
- 4:17that famous sandwich that goes along with the Kentucky Derby. I thought it was
- 4:20like a finger sandwich, some sort of finger water crest or was it the
- 4:26pimento cheese? No, that's I think there is the hot brown? Is
- 4:30it the hot brown, like the the turkey sandwich with like a melt?
- 4:38Yeah, like a hot turkey melt type that that that don't sound like eighteen
- 4:44seventy five hot had they learned how to melt cheese and they hadn't learned how
- 4:48to cheese cheese yet cheese didn't come around to like the nineteen hundreds. So
- 4:56just having a little fun. It's just when I see long dates and still
- 4:59staining ability like that. Uh. And as as we mentioned, it could
- 5:02have been a couple of years they had to miss because of war or famine,
- 5:08all kinds of things in the last one hundred and fifty years of any
- 5:12country. Find a country that hasn't been to war in the last one hundred
- 5:16and fifty years, it'll be hard press. Uh. And in those times
- 5:20different than now you all civilians were asked, yeah, you know, now
- 5:30man can get out, and man, man, I just you know,
- 5:33don't don't want to go. What do they call them, sympathizer? Yeah,
- 5:40conscious is subjector yeah, contious subjective And you weren't asked in a passive
- 5:45way like they put it on your uh social media feed. It was hey,
- 5:49what's going on? What you're doing? You're the oldest, Yeah,
- 5:53come with us? Uh you stay you you three come out with us?
- 5:58Because only the oldest getting the stay Yeah, was because y'all helping out mom
- 6:01and daddy and you know they counting on you. The rest of y'all just
- 6:04a few for the fire. But Mystic Dan eighteen to one won the one
- 6:11hundred and fifty Kentucky Derby. It did go down to a photo finish.
- 6:15Mystic Dan won by a nose flare. I don't even know about a nose.
- 6:21It was the flare of his nostril that went up and got that victory.
- 6:26Eighteen to one means that he really was kind of middle to bottom of
- 6:32that first group, but was able to. When I watched the race,
- 6:36he stayed in the inside. He did stayed up. He stayed on that
- 6:41rail he stayed on that rail, and it looked more like he was smooth
- 6:46like that same he kept that same kind of case and was able to run
- 6:51it in that same line. He didn't. He didn't go in and come
- 6:55back in line. And that was the thing I noticed when I watched the
- 6:58race. I don't know a lot about horse racing. Now. You can
- 7:01hold your line on the inside, on the inside. Now is that the
- 7:08expertise of the jockey knowing what line to take and how to stay in it
- 7:12and ride it. Generally, the athleticism of the horse is what gives you
- 7:17the best chance of winning. But then the jockey's expertise, it's what's supposed
- 7:21to lead that sport. You know how to drive the car, you know
- 7:25what I mean. It's like a supercar. And somebody that's a professional driver,
- 7:30they know the things that an average rider wouldn't know well. And that's
- 7:32what I don't know much about horse racing to be able to say that it
- 7:35was a tactic, right. I know, once they come out the shoots,
- 7:40you sometimes end up locked into a certain place, right, And some
- 7:44of those horses fight to stay to the outside, some of them fight and
- 7:47stay in the inside, and run in those kind of races. So and
- 7:54it would seem like you know, with horses, you don't want to get
- 7:57too excited because anything can spookle horse this period. So, as you said,
- 8:03Kennedy, the jockey has to be at the point where, hey,
- 8:05I see this, I'm just gonna ride, I'm gonna sit back. Anything
- 8:09on a professional level, even you have to be able to be in control
- 8:13of your your senses of like, oh, I know I got this,
- 8:18but don't want to jump too soon. You ever ride horse? No,
- 8:22not in the sense of like independently, Okay, right, I've been on
- 8:26the horse and they tethered and went around, but I've never got in the
- 8:33scraps and galloped off on. Have any of you? Yes? No,
- 8:37no, come, won't come an you from the plane. From the planes.
- 8:41You ain't fight a war the horses all the time. You spook them.
- 8:46But see now that's one thing I do know. You spook babies or
- 8:50horses. Ah, then like kittens, something wrong with you, man,
- 8:54We gotta we gotta examine that. I'm telling you. Kittens, babies and
- 8:58horse is if they get spooked by you easily. Uh, you got unbalanced
- 9:03and how was your sink on the mayo thinking the mayo it was yesterday?
- 9:07Correct? Yeah, I think with it falling on Sunday, it seemed not
- 9:11to have a lot of it was out now they was hitting it in.
- 9:16It was it started like six o'clock yesterday morning. Yes, it did.
- 9:20And I you had a do no when you said how was your sink on
- 9:28to mayo? I was like, that was already? That was what yesterday?
- 9:31Yesterday? Okay, Yeah, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Saturday Saturday
- 9:35was made the force. That's that's the reason for all of the Star Wars
- 9:43movies on all of the made the four bottom that was, and it rolled
- 9:52into Saturday night like if you was already out for May the fourth at twelve
- 9:56o'clock, you started to sink on the mayo right then? Wow, And
- 10:01I guess that could be a waste. I squandered all those opportunities. I'm
- 10:03sorry. I went to Atlanta United game for the May fourth. They played
- 10:11Minnesota down at the Bens. Did they have it? They lost? Did
- 10:15they have a Star Wars theme? No? No, no actual reference to
- 10:20it. A lot, well, pretty much every baseball and hockey team have
- 10:26a Star Wars theme night at some point during the season they think more would
- 10:31have it. I think a lot of that is ruined by the fact that
- 10:35now we have so many outlets for the things that interest us. Instead of
- 10:41having it at the night where we're all gathered to watch our sports team,
- 10:45you just gonna have a Star Wars recognition night and an arena separate to itself,
- 10:50like only the people who are interested in celebrating just Star Wars tonight get
- 10:56tickets and come here. And it used to just be Hey, don't forget
- 11:00the fourth be with you and the Atlanta United tonight and everybody goes yay.
- 11:05Well the Hawks, the Hawks have a theme for almost every game, right
- 11:09something. They have forty one home games and I know thirty of them easily.
- 11:18Very rarely do I even walk in there and it's not something either I
- 11:22know it before I go or once I get to my seat and has it
- 11:26all the same kind of thing. Man, She Greg Knight, and then
- 11:30it's trap night, then it's soap O Night, then it's choir night,
- 11:35and then it's Chipotle Night basically, and then it's so it's not a lot
- 11:41of teams that are adapting that to try to make it more festive. Yeah,
- 11:46we'll be back with more of the Sports Jock Show right after this.

- 15:31spoy Shock Winning Gaming. Good morning to you on this Monday morning, coming
- 15:35off a big weekend, as we talked about one hundred and fiftieth Kentucky Derby
- 15:41in the book, names like Travis Kelsey, Aaron Rodgers, all in attendance,
- 15:50the Formula one race. We will talk about that in a minute.
- 15:52Also NBA playoffs, we're down to eight teams now, you know, kind
- 16:00of getting some people. Some coaches on got fired in the NBA, so
- 16:03we got things to talk about and Tom Brady got roasted last night. Talk
- 16:08about that as well coming up in the show. One thing that grabbed my
- 16:14attention quickly over the last week was at my age, kind of the first
- 16:25group of teenagers that were introduced to arcade games. The gentleman at this table,
- 16:34we're that first, more so than command She because he's lagging back ten
- 16:40twelve years. But the three of us definitely are that first arcade where games
- 16:45stopped just being playing Uno and cards and Connect four and all that and started
- 16:52actually being video games. And there were things called arcades that you went to
- 16:57to purchase and play these games outside the homes. It's like a PS five
- 17:03you can go inside of. That's so Dave in Busters. It's launching arcade
- 17:11betting, arcade betting at Dave and Busters. Now I don't have all the
- 17:22facts, so I'm limited on how this would work. And I know they're
- 17:26they're dealing with like some new computer technology firm. I don't know if it's
- 17:33me and you at the venue or me here on one of the machines and
- 17:41you had another location on one of the machines and we're betting. I don't
- 17:45have all the details, but it did. When I saw it, I
- 17:48was it's so many stories be fake. I clicked on like, OK,
- 17:53I know, David, but cause that sounds like a fight, right,
- 17:56Well, fifteen year old was in there. Yeah, you gotta be there
- 18:00with me like a fight. Well, I'm saying that you got to be
- 18:04two fifteen year olds playing the game. Ain't the problem. It's the thirty
- 18:08five year olds with twenty seven hundred on little man. That's that's gonna cost
- 18:14it. Yeah, yeah, hold on, hold on, No, he
- 18:17double tapped his square, so you drove your son up here for this bet.
- 18:22I pulled money at the house. Grandmother. I'm gonna take Junior up
- 18:26here to the to the to I gave bet you don't want to y'all want
- 18:30to get in on the heavy He about to have a dance off on Dance
- 18:33Dance Dance machine and hold on, baby, let me go. I should
- 18:37have got something. Yeah, let me tell you five dollars on like the
- 18:41like ski ball or the air hockey. Well, from what I'm reading,
- 18:45it seems like as mini machines or as they had. That's what I'm saying.
- 18:48I try to make it. I'm trying to go in there myself.
- 18:51I'm gonna have to get my Donkey Kong and my Gallagher skills off because I'm
- 18:55trying to win on my own. I don't think they have those that David
- 18:57Buster. Yeah, I mean I thought it got a lot of They've got
- 19:00a lot of those arcade style games. There's there's like the retro arcade games
- 19:07that you can go play, and then there are the ski Ball I don't
- 19:12remember, Gallagha machine. Yeah yeah, kind of arcade. And I'm hoping
- 19:21that if that's the case, you can bet on that we used to win
- 19:23hot dogs on this is this their way of maybe fending off bankruptcy. Yeah,
- 19:30you've got to do something. I mean, because everybody everywhere is allowing
- 19:36you to bet on sports. I don't think they have an avenue into sports
- 19:40betting. So if betting is the hot thing, competition breeds the willingness to
- 19:48bet, So if I can bet right here on Galigae, we can do
- 19:56that. They have that the it's a coming called Lucas Sports. They their
- 20:02program or their software allow people to make friendly wagers on anything, and they
- 20:11say their average is about ten dollars, but they haven't set up maximum.
- 20:15And this kind of jumps into cutting into the whole Eastport road, right,
- 20:23because we talked about esport and how that has gained popularities and they have e
- 20:29sport competitions and all around people have esports teams. Right. If I remember
- 20:34we reported on it before, so I was I'm thinking that was at the
- 20:40meeting, the meeting to talk about let's make this move. People was throwing
- 20:44that up. Is evident that before we go and flush all these machines and
- 20:48have a for sale sign on them, what can we do with them?
- 20:52And you said that this app see I was just about a year ago.
- 20:55I was saying, somebody, somebody could come up with an app where you
- 20:56can make a friendly bet, like when we went on the golf court.
- 21:00I don't have to worry about you giving them money. Were religious, man,
- 21:02You do a lot of beding lot oft and know a whole lot about
- 21:07the procedures and the processes and all that you do. You do. You
- 21:11have a lot of intricate details about the avenue that goes against your whole preaching.
- 21:18I don't preach, but I mean, I'm just saying your intricate knowledge
- 21:26of and what you wanted. I wanted somebody to create and it. Yeah,
- 21:30I mean, and that's what I'm saying now. I came through the
- 21:33door with a bag of cash on some Hey, how can we clean this?
- 21:37Everybody know what's up with me? But you on someone? This is
- 21:41But if you bet on the three in the four, I'll bless it.
- 21:45If you're betting on the seconds, you know, that's that's I don't.
- 21:48Yeah, well, I think it's good that got the app though that's pretty
- 21:52neat to look into that. I bet you, yes, sir, I'm
- 22:03about to look it up. An I've just said religious all that you know,
- 22:08God we trust on the tag that's on the money. The God we
- 22:12trust all the money, but then you want to go to the gambling house.
- 22:15But we'll be back for In the Sports Shock Show right after this,
- 22:21guess the body boding back homes caught Ben he wanted don't bowl Wayne Bore of

- 25:21Wayne Gandy in the Radzo, Welcome back to the show. On the Sport
- 25:48Show, Wayne Gatty, Good morning to you the legendary Tom Brady last night
- 25:55doing a Nick Flicks special that basically roasting the seven times Super Bowl champion.
- 26:06Before we get into any of that, I don't really get the pitch.
- 26:15I don't get you know. What we should do is stick with me,
- 26:21make a documentary or do a special on roasting Tom Brady. Like, I
- 26:30don't get what is interesting to roast? Did do any of you? From
- 26:37that standpoint? Not about what you heard when you listen to it, if
- 26:41you listen to it, but what is that is that does that intrigue you?
- 26:45Now? At all the commands? Does that intrigue you? Let's roast
- 26:49Tom Brady? Not not really, that's not a what are you going to
- 26:57say? There's some people you can say and you so you know it's gonna
- 27:00about to be crazy, right if we're gonna be doing some roasting of Dennis
- 27:04Rodman, I'm about a ticket. No, no, tell him. What's
- 27:10gonna be said? They want be on a day as I'm still buying a
- 27:12ticket. I'm participating in the roast and I'm gonna make sure i'm there.
- 27:18Does that interest you? Roasting Tom Brady as a pitch? It's it would
- 27:25be funny just to see because Tom is so cool, calm, such a
- 27:29cool, cool, underpressured guy, just to see him possibly break character or
- 27:36come out of him out of being Tom terrific, of the perfect personally,
- 27:41the perfect guy that we see him as a as a quarterback. I feel
- 27:45on the field so well the roast happened from what I a couple of clips
- 27:49I did here. I did not tune in. It wasn't that interesting for
- 27:55me to watch Netflix to just see the special. Maybe I'll see it at
- 27:57some point. One of the heavy jokes that it seems in the three reports
- 28:03that read was something about his wife Chiselle. A lot don't know, But
- 28:07I don't get how other divorces get to go up to the podium and talk
- 28:14about Joe somebody else about their divorce. Now it could just be me.
- 28:18So guys speak up. Is that Is it just a sports shop? Because
- 28:22I don't get where the three of y'all divorced too, So you talk about
- 28:27me, I divorced one. I divorced one, lady you on number seven?
- 28:32Yeah, I don't get how you what you roasted me about? Well
- 28:37maybe game recognized game. I don't know. And I think part of what
- 28:41I find interesting I've done roast, and part of its nature is the ambush
- 28:49factor, the element of surprise, so something that you say they're not expecting.
- 28:56But a lot of what I used to see in roast very much clever,
- 29:07cleverly crafted, and specific in its reach. I'm roasting the sports jock.
- 29:14All my comments are about the sports jock and his behavior, about the
- 29:18sports jock and his performance and his having or not having certain attributes. They
- 29:26drag wives and friends and other people from your life into the roast, making
- 29:33comments about them as well, which is to my traditional understanding of roast was
- 29:40never a part of the process. Well, Kevin Hart got up and Drew
- 29:45Bledsoe was in attendance. Robert Kraft was there as well, Bill Belichick.
- 29:52A lot of it centered around Tom's divorce with Giselle, which is going some
- 29:59angle whether it was Antonio Brown's little comments, or it was who Giselle is
- 30:07currently dating or not dating. It was jokes just sitting around that one topic
- 30:11came up that Tom quickly shut down. Now I don't know if it was
- 30:18written like this, how much of this was scripted, but it seems that
- 30:22when comedian Jeff Ross got up and tried to make a joke about Robert Kraf
- 30:30and his massage scandal, you could hear Tom stepping to him and telling him
- 30:36not to get on that subject at all, speaking kind of like Big Kenny
- 30:42alluded to just a minute ago that Ross, whatever you're talking about it is
- 30:45supposed to stay on me. Your joke is supposed to be about me and
- 30:51the people that respect and not about people I know about me. So and
- 30:56you just took a shot at this man. That that's the thing about it.
- 31:00You didn't mention him. You took a shot at him in his personal
- 31:03struggle. You can tell that joke got a Robert Craft roast, right that
- 31:07this Tom Brady roast you keep him to Brad. Isn't that scene, at
- 31:12at least the more recent roast where a person would make jokes about other people
- 31:18on the on the panel or anyone in the audience. Yeah, I've seen
- 31:21them do that before. If you're on the panel, they could they they'll
- 31:25roast the actual person also, but they'll they'll throw one at someone sitting on
- 31:30the panel. Was Robert Kraft on the dais or was he in the audience?
- 31:36On the days your fair Game? Because that's part of the agreement.
- 31:41I'm going to roast our honoree and everybody else up here who roasting because I'm
- 31:45gonna say, I'm gonna be the one to say, you've been divorced seven
- 31:48times. I can't believe you cracked a joke on him about divorce. You
- 31:52see what I'm saying. I can say that, but we're on the days,
- 31:56You sitting in the audience are not supposed to be bought into this.
- 32:00Well, that's like Bill Belichick, he roasted. He made a comment to
- 32:04Randy Moss, like I rescued dogs at the dog shelter, and I rescued
- 32:07Randy Moss from the raiders. Sorry, I didn't get you a ring,
- 32:10you know, he wrote, and that was pretty funny to that point.
- 32:15Well, but I'm saying it all go anybody that's out of line. I'm
- 32:17not saying that Jeff Ross was the only one. I'm saying that it seems
- 32:22as big I thought the rules was like Big Kenny is saying, it's about
- 32:27roasting the person. Not because I came and was in attendance, and you
- 32:32saw me out in the audience right like a comedy show, and then you
- 32:37brought my life into something. I got a bad producer. Christ question was
- 32:44she got booed? But why was Kim Kardashian roasted Tom? What did she
- 32:47come in? I'm wondering, Well, her friends correct, Oh they are
- 32:51okay. I didn't know there was a year so and since he's retired,
- 32:54there was different rumors that they dated. Oh I didn't. I didn't miss
- 32:59that one. Who didn't she date? I mean I missed that one,
- 33:01though. I'm surprised. I'm surprised you missed anything, But I doubt that
- 33:07very few people I would imagine of any kind of note the Kardashians don't know.
- 33:14Yeah, man, their whole business model is to get to know.
- 33:19And there are those circles, the designer circles, the entertainment circles. You
- 33:24don't go to their party in surprise to see somebody there, do you?
- 33:31Who would you be surprised at a Kim Kardashian party? M hm? Other
- 33:38than us? Yeah? Man? What you doing? But I'm saying if
- 33:44I went there, I'm just throwing out things. And Trey Young was in
- 33:47at the Kim Kardashian party. That sounds about right right. Yeah, he's
- 33:52here all the time, isn't he. Yeah, that would makes sense.
- 33:55Any super star name note, That's what I'm saying. Who would you imagine
- 34:00wouldn't be there? And and what would be their reason for not showing up
- 34:06at a Kardashian party? I mean Kanye, No, they would Lamar definitely
- 34:13want that Lamar. They definitely weren't like, they wouldn't want him around,
- 34:17Like they have security like keep no, let Yea in telling the camera man
- 34:23when he said, but he comes in, get the camera guys in here,
- 34:27and then let Yea in. Oh it's a whole security thing. Yeah,
- 34:32he got three blocks down the road. Hey, I think I saw
- 34:37ya. Tell Daily News, New York Posts. Get the cameras warmed up.
- 34:42Here come this the moment, and he might have walked in the party
- 34:45and walked out in the back door. But the Kardashians and Kanye got just
- 34:50what they wanted, pictures of him going to a card and a mask.
- 34:55He's a man, and the girl is in some kind of yeah right,
- 35:02something like that painted own body suit. And then at some point they're gonna
- 35:08huddle and have a Kardashian conference about it. But Kenny Robert Craft was only
- 35:15on the dais. Okay, Well, maybe that was Tom being a little
- 35:20bit sensitive, because that's one thing I also wonder about. When you agree
- 35:23to be roasted, there has to be a certain spirit of in good fun
- 35:31going into it. You gotta be open that you know some of anything could
- 35:37and can and does happen. So for Robert Craft to be on the dais
- 35:42and then he say to the roast master, I mean because Jeffrey Ross has
- 35:46been doing this and they usually have him as the roast master. So you're
- 35:52saying there's no line in a roast. No, no, I've not seen
- 35:54any I've not heard any and and and again there was a time like now,
- 36:02I just believe me looking back and you're on the panel and me bringing
- 36:07up that your daughter is missing legs, that's why she couldn't join you on
- 36:12stage and that kind of stuff. Oh yeah, that'd be that'd be first
- 36:15up that because if I'm not roasting, if the roast is not and now
- 36:22now what I'm saying is there's no limit. Oh but if the daughter's on
- 36:27the dais she's not she's not even there? Well that right, nobody usually,
- 36:32but it used to be where today's societal sensibilities wouldn't come into play.
- 36:37If you had now, what's his name, Oscar Pistorious, he would definitely
- 36:45get a we were gonna roast him, but he couldn't join us up here
- 36:49today kind of thing, and people would ha ha ha ha. And there
- 36:52usually are the most personal, vulgar insults that you can come up with,
- 36:58but you steer clear from anybody. I'll want to see the road get roasted
- 37:01before we leave. Anybody ill would enjoy seeing roasted? Answer on the other
- 37:07side of the break back more to Sports Jock Show right after this. You

- 40:05John Wayne Yandy. Between between log on say you can see a sports jaint,
- 40:30I'll say even very Channy, Welcome back to the spot Shock Show The
- 40:37spoy Shock, Wayne Gandy. We left talking about Tom Brady being roasted on
- 40:42a Netflix special and other than the money part of the deal, which could
- 40:47be other things and just the rose it could be. You know, Tom
- 40:52has throughout his career, I've been in a couple of movies. There's been
- 40:57rumors of him, you know, being ends with Mark Wahlberg and having maybe
- 41:02some production in the future. We do know this, at least for this
- 41:07season. It seems that he's going to go into the Fox booth and be
- 41:13the color analysts but as we talked about that a couple of shows ago,
- 41:17he doesn't even know whether that's something he's going to enjoy at this moment.
- 41:22It's something that was given to him right when he retired. He took a
- 41:29year off and this year will be the season that he goes into booth.
- 41:30But he could do the season and find that it really didn't hold his interest.
- 41:35We've seen different star athletes like him try to go into coaching. They
- 41:40didn't like it, they need to do something else, or gm you see
- 41:45someone like Michael Jordan. He keeps trying his hands at different ownerships of things,
- 41:52and some of that could be it's not just it just doesn't hold his
- 41:57interest. Maybe he thought it was going to be more sighting. So now
- 42:00he's in the race car driving because you're looking. When you when you've played
- 42:04sports, when you've competed like this, it's a search. It's a lifelong
- 42:08search. I have to raise my hand. It's a search to try to
- 42:13find something that makes you your fingernails grow right like your sport did the stress
- 42:21of your sport where he was cutting your fingernails every other day, because that's
- 42:24how much you was thinking about it and it's hard for all of these guys.
- 42:28And that's why I'm saying that with Tom Brady, you never know a
- 42:31year from now he's trying to do something else. But we were talking about
- 42:36roasting and who you, gentlemen, if you had someone who would you like
- 42:40to see get roasted? Bad producer. I don't think he's got roasted yet,
- 42:46or maybe he has when I had Michael Jordan And why is Mike like
- 42:55the same way I say with Tom? Just to see him. You know,
- 43:00Mike's always under cool, play it, under pressure, no, no,
- 43:06nothing, under skin too much, but just to try to see somebody
- 43:07to bring him out out of it, just to get that one time where
- 43:13he can say, hey, hey, that's enough big Kenny. Did he
- 43:20did he? Yeah? Why? Well, because of the current nature of
- 43:24his situation, I just think that that roast would be a full of opportunity
- 43:30to craft a lot of really clever material that spans a great deal of time.
- 43:38Did He's been relevant since early nineties, late late nineties, No,
- 43:45early early eighty yeah, early nineties, so straight through to to now who
- 43:52do who do they have in that late ladies? Well, I mean when
- 43:54he started working with eighty nine eighty eight uptown up Town when he was Mary
- 44:01j Yeah, Eli, yeah, yeah, he actually bought them to uptown
- 44:06and then because of his behavior at Uptown, he was fired. Now and
- 44:09this is what you know inside or this is when this is well documented,
- 44:14this is well, uh yeah, this is well documented in his That's what
- 44:17I'm saying. He's done so much. Right, Well, no, I'm
- 44:22no, no, no, not that you don't know the history. Sometimes
- 44:24when you have these conversations, people say that and it's like, sure,
- 44:28there was a person before that, but when did you hear the person?
- 44:32I was somewhere before I was in the pros, right, that's that's true.
- 44:38So when you said early nineties, that is when most people heard of
- 44:43Diddy. I didn't hear Diddy like ninety two. So someone like him who
- 44:49will know all the information, people like to go back and it's like nobody
- 44:52knew fifty cent when he was doing this, when he was just writing in
- 44:57the studio right right right, because you read his memoirs and now you know
- 45:04then they oh no he started and just but okay did he who you got
- 45:08bad? I mean, command you Greg will Smith, Will Smith, okay,
- 45:15and why I think there he has this persona of being this until recent
- 45:23events, of being this all American good guy that you see on screen,
- 45:30and it will probably be more people like giving like their on their opinions on
- 45:37him, rather than roasting him. So it would be an interesting mix of
- 45:40how people would approach that because of who he is. And I would have
- 45:45stephen A. Smith M roasted and it would be based on to see the
- 45:52follow up after the roast, after everybody go home, take their tuxes off,
- 45:58and go back to life. I don't think he can take a joke.
- 46:04You think he'd get back on his platform and start taking shots and people
- 46:07of avengeful. He makes notations. He doesn't seem like a guy that can
- 46:15take a roast. Even standing up there, everything he's doing on stage would
- 46:21just be fake, trying to get the show over. He's making notation I'm
- 46:24gonna get this person back, get this person back. But then gets there,
- 46:30they do, they do well. And I'm saying too, I think
- 46:35sports Shock is aware of that. We just discussed that part and he's saying
- 46:38that that wouldn't be enough. Am I career saying that wouldn't be enough for
- 46:43stephen A For me to get up and have the last laugh wouldn't be enough.
- 46:47I would remember that you said I had a horrible hairline and I walk
- 46:53funny when I was reporting the story, and I would go yesterday all missed
- 47:00touchdowns. Maybe instead of writing jokes, you ought to be trying to focus
- 47:06on running your routes because because because what I'm saying is he's one of them.
- 47:12He's on my list because he doesn't seem like when the show is over,
- 47:15that's it. That is a person. So it's personalities like that,
- 47:21And there are people in real life roast like that. I think, who's
- 47:27that? Michael, No, that's what you could have said. That about
- 47:30what I'm saying, I'm not saying that's why he said the same reason I'm
- 47:36saying you could have said the same thing. That's what I'm agreeing with you.
- 47:38And and that's the personality I like to see because mostly, you know,
- 47:45most people do roast. I think Will Smith will take it with a
- 47:49take it with a grand Did he get up like if y'all knew half the
- 47:52stuff I actually did, y'all ain't told nobody nothing about the real did he?
- 47:58Because remember I changed my name? You talking about did it? Did
- 48:00it y'all didn't known me when I was puffed Daddy boy, y'all would when
- 48:08I was I used to not getting a limousine. When we've seen what happened
- 48:14to people around Diddy, that shiny suit, that take that? Why do
- 48:20you think I used to always say that? Fright? We'll be after Joe
- 48:32Boy, Wayne Born of the Sports John Show with Wayne dam videos dumbing up
- 48:37next. Some people won't give you the real talk on drugs, but it's

- 48:55size of a few grains of sand, could potentially be lethal. This isn't

- 50:59able. I love you like Alley, she is a stranger and history,
- 51:08don't you then show? Welcome back to this wy Shock Show. I'm this
- 51:13Warshock Wing K and T comanch you Greg Big Kenny, the bad producer in
- 51:16the building. This morning, we talked about one hundred and fifty Kentucky Derby
- 51:22Mystic Dan winning that race by the nose photo finish, one of those classic
- 51:29moments. You always hear that word it was a photo finish, but it
- 51:32really was a photo finish to that race. We talked about Cinco de Mayo
- 51:37being yesterday. We've talked about Tom Brady getting roasted as well, and what's
- 51:43the boundaries of a roast. We also talked about Dave and Busters. If
- 51:49you're Dave in Busters fan, David Busters. When I first moved to Atlanta
- 51:52in the late nineties early two thousands, to be a that was a kind
- 51:57of party. Hap it was an adult ArKade. People book birthdays and different
- 52:02any kind of little meeting. You'd have corporations going there and playpool and hang
- 52:07out. I haven't been in a while, but they are getting into gambling
- 52:15as far as their arcade. Maybe that will spill into even sports bet betting.
- 52:20You never know where this is this gambling thing going. People with the
- 52:23Bible, like the Bad Producer seems to be deciding that maybe those verses against
- 52:31gambling scriptures they had a rule that machine. I'm saying that Jesus had had
- 52:40a straight flush, he could have felt different about it when he went into
- 52:45the when he went in the temple if he had he had a slot machine
- 52:50that hit triple peaches it made let it ride, run it back, run
- 52:59it back. Simon Peter, as you mentioned the one hundred and fiftieth Kentucky
- 53:06Derby. In all of the years that I've been watching the Kentucky Derby and
- 53:09horse racing, this is the first time they've ever heard won by a nose
- 53:14flair. That is I think even closer level than a photo finished. I
- 53:22mean it used to be won by a nose, but a nose flair is
- 53:27somebody just kind of like this horse more is what it sounds like like we
- 53:31it's kind of like a tie, but somebody got a win. So we'll
- 53:35see. You caught him on a out take right when he was right the
- 53:38flares went in and that's how you won the race. That's how close it
- 53:42was that they mystic. Dan used to get teased about his big nozzle.
- 53:49Bud Burnet. You buy your nose, you get dry. He used to
- 53:52get teased and not here a world champion. We're gonna talk more NBA in
- 53:55the next hour, but some of the and not shocking news now former head
- 54:02coach Darvin Ham after two years being fired from the Lakers gig. I know
- 54:07a lot of people was going in it was two but this has been the
- 54:13Lakers and their coaches. They fired Frank Vogel. Frank vogo won the title
- 54:19and only got three years there and they got him out. Darvin Ham.
- 54:23Darvin Ham to me was a higher I talk about this on the show a
- 54:27lot. There are some hires the fire. There are coaches you look at
- 54:37someone like the Raiders. To me, Antonio Pierce is a higher to fire.
- 54:42It means that I won't have to do a lot of explaining to let
- 54:46this coach go, right, he had enough to beat the job, but
- 54:53nobody's going to be standing outside with a sign. And it's the same thing
- 55:00with Darvin Ham. There's some coaches that you have to explain why you're letting
- 55:06them. God Ham is not one because the people kind of barely bought that
- 55:10you hired him in the first place. Does that make Does that make sense?
- 55:15You know, you know, different than a Doc Rivers. You have
- 55:19to kind of explain why you let Doc Rivers go or maybe now Steve Kerr
- 55:24people that ever. But Darvin Ham, hey, man, we didn't make
- 55:29it. I didn't see any improvement, so we let him go. I
- 55:34mean, he doesn't even have to be there for that meeting, Like,
- 55:37man, where's Darvin Man? You know? Now? In this firing with
- 55:42Darwin though, I must say this season, uh, this is not Lebron.
- 55:49I've said this the other day when they lost. There's no blame on
- 55:52Lebron James, there's no brain blame on Anthony Davis. There's no blame on
- 56:00on what's the shooting guard name, uh Dangela Russell Aus, Austin Reeds.
- 56:08Everybody else can go. They're listening to you know, they can't everybody else's
- 56:16fault. They can hear you for once, For once, it was not
- 56:21the head coach and the two or three top players. It was the rest
- 56:23of the game. And you're doubling down. You just it was the rest
- 56:28of the game. Put it in front of their locker. Put in front
- 56:31locker. Not even the two plat garbage bag with the stretchy stuff in it,
- 56:35just the regular don't put too much in that, right garbage bag.
- 56:39Rest of that, you're gonna have to tuck in your arms. Wow,
- 56:42And you can just go down and compile a list of the four or five
- 56:46who we brought here to be the main reserves. Never played this season,
- 56:52never played now, I think sometimes and it's not even thinking, I know
- 57:00what offends me about that happening In a situation like what the Lakers is,
- 57:06we're in an error where I can't be sure that the reason you didn't play
- 57:10was what I would consider what other athletes, players in the NBA fans would
- 57:15consider legitimate reasons. You wasn't really hurt, You wasn't really hurt. Was
- 57:22nothing really wrong with you? You just over there going through some of my
- 57:24follows and dropped off point three to two. You know, and I can't
- 57:30say that you weren't because I'm not you and I'm not there. But I
- 57:35know it happens. I know that the NBA trying to get you all to
- 57:38do anything to play. I know that stuff that you used to get up
- 57:42for you don't even consider important anymore. Well, and part of that,
- 57:46in my opinion, is just it's not whether you have a legit reason or
- 57:52not, right, it's because of your absence. Even it's almost best bad
- 58:01producer to have a guy just be out for the season, then to have
- 58:06him so I can go get somebody somebody else. Yeah, always all this,
- 58:09I think you'll be back Thursday, only to find out it might be
- 58:14Tuesday, only for you to come back Tuesday and contracts keep you. I
- 58:19rather you just tell me you tore your HHL and that's the season, and
- 58:22I'll go find me somebody. And that's what I mean with the Lakers.
- 58:27They had too many of those guys. They was in for two games,
- 58:31out for five games, but not hurd enough I can put on on I
- 58:35R. So I'm still sitting here stuck with waiting on you to come back,
- 58:39and that yo Yo, you cannot have that. It just mess up
- 58:45the chemistry. We'll be back with more than sports Jock Show right after this
- 58:47rest around. Because he can't. God try to stop stop uptown. I
- 58:54was down when they see him up and down. Baby, they had high
- 58:58because I'm holding number crown. Never told even du to ups and downs.
- 59:01Babe and Nipa do say it's a couple brown Babe, don't go away.
- 59:07More of the sports Josh Hill with Wayne Gambidia's coming up next. Why are
- 59:12interscholastic sports called the last classroom of the day because they teach students important life
- 59:16lessons like teamwork, accountability, and perseverance. School sports are so much more
- 59:22than a game. They're about developing the whole person. That's why they're an
- 59:25essential part of every student's education. Encourage your student to participate in the last
- 59:30classroom of the day interscholastic sports in Georgia. This message presented by the GHSA
- 59:37and the Georgia Athletic Directors Association. And now let's talk about something exciting,
- 59:44life insurance. Three quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece of
- 59:47financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have life insurance. When I
- 59:52was twenty five, me and my wife were just getting started with our family
- 59:55and thought we lived forever. Life insurance was the last thing on my mind.
- 59:59What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills? When I
- 1:00:02was forty, with a kid in college and bills piling up, I was
- 1:00:05worried how my family will survive without me. That's what I'm in an appointment
- 1:00:07with the insurance informants. Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your
- 1:00:12family security no matter what stage of life you're in. Now that I'm older,
- 1:00:15I don't worry about whether I leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:00:19The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty, whether you earn
- 1:00:22a little or a lot, All you need is the insurance informant to help
- 1:00:25you build a foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
- 1:00:30two options, benefits or bills? Which legacy will you leave behind? Log
- 1:00:35on today, benefits or bills? Dot com? That's benefits or bills dot
- 1:00:39com? Nous enough, I'll have why so shaius and we hold the world
- 1:00:51ransom for excuse me while I whip this out. Sure broadcasting live and it
- 1:00:59led us to this. This is the sports with Wayne I'm doing. Yeah,
- 1:01:21I'm gonna go on the way we back to this boy shop, shut
- 1:01:27this spoy shock Wayne Canty. Good morning to you. If you missed any
- 1:01:30of that first hour of the show, please go to Apple podcast, Amazon
- 1:01:35podcast, Spotify, Audible, Deezer, or iHeart Radio wants the show goes
- 1:01:40off and catch the replay. Big Kenny is in the building, the funny
- 1:01:45man himself, the number one roaster who you know his son grew up two
- 1:01:50left feet still trying to run from the police. Because that's how roast sound
- 1:02:00to me. Up there making stupid stuff up about people. Yeah, that's
- 1:02:05this man. Man just just serves some alcohol and let the DJ play.
- 1:02:08Y'all just wanted the time to have fun, right, all right, that's
- 1:02:12all, get dressed up, giving it up for the sports jock. His
- 1:02:17edges are thinner than Philly's tight end core. That's what it was. That's
- 1:02:29it and definitely for me, roast definitely should be something for real old people.
- 1:02:35He's like, make you think forty six years old. Come on,
- 1:02:38man, that ain't no. He ain't even gave you the thirty other year
- 1:02:43that you can roast him. About. That's what I'm saying. Imagine if
- 1:02:46you had you missed the OJ after career, Oh yeah, you joked,
- 1:02:52you wouldn't have You wouldn't have had none of them joke. If you just
- 1:02:54got the juice off of San Francisco when he when he retired, or just
- 1:02:59run through the air you you would have totally missed. I'm just waiting for
- 1:03:05OJ to get up here last. I know he gonna kill all of that
- 1:03:14is gone. What you're gonna do just talk about him running through the airport?
- 1:03:17OJ is fast? Do you think he needs to be televised or like
- 1:03:22you have to if people wanted to see it, you got to buy a
- 1:03:24ticket. But then but it won't be on TV. The Netflix one will
- 1:03:29be aired on Netflix that I know. I'm asking like, should those events?
- 1:03:34Should they be televised? In which you can Well, I think because
- 1:03:39of the nature of it, it would have to be some sort of I
- 1:03:45know it has to be some I can't stumble across it. I have to
- 1:03:50be intentionally walking through this door, because if you just put it on a
- 1:03:54prime time cable networking, the kids left home surfing and he gets the Jeffrey
- 1:04:01Ross roast of Jeffrey Ross. Then you know, kids traumatized, So it's
- 1:04:08got to be some sort of access only type of prisons. And with today's
- 1:04:13media and television and entertainment, they're so right now that they break all the
- 1:04:18rules. You're supposed to go find someone like a Terry Bradshaw or Joe Montana.
- 1:04:26Whoever supposed to be getting roasted should be people like their seventy you know,
- 1:04:31they're surprised to still be alive. Tom Brady just left a football field
- 1:04:35and literally could come tell you tomorrow I'm ready. I'm thinking about coming back.
- 1:04:42I mean, and somebody would let him see. He could show up
- 1:04:45at he could show up at any franchises practice field and be like I think
- 1:04:53I'm ready to get in, and they would call their starting guy over like,
- 1:04:56hey, give me this helmet real quick, let's see something. And
- 1:05:00a legitimate tryout for the Broncos. Yeah, he get a snap or two,
- 1:05:04like seriously, like not not in no, Just so the media not
- 1:05:10really down. Bring out all the scientists on hey if we did, how
- 1:05:15would we get his body manipulation from sud His oxygen didn't take his only eighty
- 1:05:20seven percent right now, but he could the most effective at ninety three percent.
- 1:05:25What would we he'd be back on TB twelve quickly. Caitlyn Clark played
- 1:05:31in her first preseason game the other night. WNBA had a little issue the
- 1:05:36next night with the Chicago Sky with Camilla Cardosa and Angel Ree something about their
- 1:05:45w NBA app went out doing the game they they were televising the Sky.
- 1:05:50I don't know who they who they were playing. I think it was the
- 1:05:54Minnesota Lynx. Okay, whether the game either didn't start on time or dropped
- 1:06:00out because that was the only way you could see a preseason game and people
- 1:06:04didn't see, which Twity's friends to lodge the accusation of say it bad producer
- 1:06:14saying I'm not gonna say it, say it he know what he you know
- 1:06:20what, say it. I didn't have nothing to do with that. I
- 1:06:23mean, I was just watched after the game didn't air as they had planned
- 1:06:29because of the reported we didn't see the black Barbie. People lodged that,
- 1:06:35Oh, y'all gonna get the quote unquote white girl coverage. But when it
- 1:06:42comes to the sisters and the girl from Venezuela or wherever she's from, y'all
- 1:06:50don't care. About they coverage because you dropped all of a sudden, you
- 1:06:56can't see it. There was there was some confusion. They said it was
- 1:07:00going to be on the they were broadcasting the game, but it's actually on
- 1:07:04the app. And then someone on Twitter streamed the game on Twitter, so
- 1:07:12there they is that legal? Is that is that legal to do what that
- 1:07:18person did a lot of people do it. I don't think it's legal.
- 1:07:23A lot of people do. A lot of people rebroadcasts up, they'll get
- 1:07:27it on pay per view and then just show it live. Well you know
- 1:07:30those games, they tell you any rebroadcast to get you it's prohibited, and
- 1:07:38so they do it live and and in real time. They will just go
- 1:07:42live on their social media and broadcast the entire fight, broadcast the entire event
- 1:07:46off their phone onto their timeline. Yeah, it some in some ways,
- 1:07:50either through they can skew the audio, or they through a VPN where it
- 1:07:58can't be tracked or something like that. People can get around streaming it.
- 1:08:02Okay, well I totally missed what you're talking about, Big Kenny. A
- 1:08:10lot of people said that though, and he knowed. I was surprised when
- 1:08:13I went to check out the Caitlin Clark game with a fever. I went
- 1:08:19to like ESPN, NBA TV. I didn't even know the w NBA had
- 1:08:26a package. So let's start there, how about it. I like to
- 1:08:30start with the truth with it with mine, so you can see some people
- 1:08:33like to start after they live. I'm telling you, I didn't know they
- 1:08:36had a w NBA package. Any w NBA game I've ever seen was on
- 1:08:44the network, it was either on ABC, ESPN, or Ballet Sports I've
- 1:08:51never I didn't. I didn't know they had a package. That makes it
- 1:08:58even worse because I'm not buying a package. I'm barely happy with the prices
- 1:09:02of the NBA package. I definitely I'm not going to pass. I didn't.
- 1:09:08Did you know me? I didn't. I didn't you know they had
- 1:09:11a lead pass before the other day. I was struggling with knowing they had
- 1:09:14League sport. Did you know they had a league pass? I thought it
- 1:09:17should have been throwed in that they heard about. It should be thrown into
- 1:09:19the NBA. Now which NBA package right should throw? This is the thing
- 1:09:26they're trying to have it like a LA cart. You picked the games that
- 1:09:30what y'all need to be giving me all of these games as many as anybody's
- 1:09:34willing to watch, you are to let me watch those games. So I
- 1:09:38went strolling like, okay, it gotta be out. This Indiana game gotta
- 1:09:41be somewhere. I went everywhere I thought, Fox Sports, like an NBA
- 1:09:46TV, all the ESPNS. I went up to the six forty nine at
- 1:09:51Balley, and then I finally I googled to see where I could watch the
- 1:09:58game. It said the w NBA pass. I said, And you think
- 1:10:00you was like, click ain trying. This is saund trying to hack my
- 1:10:08out. I'm a click on, hold on, I'm a click on down
- 1:10:14the w n B a out and next thing you know, eighty thousand dollars
- 1:10:16going out. So they're not giving me like the first two three weeks of
- 1:10:21the NBA package is free, then you can decide to say if you want
- 1:10:25to keep it. They're not even giving you that opportunity to to see if
- 1:10:28you want to give you the first two or three weeks look into it at
- 1:10:31all. They said, I didn't even waste my time. All final once
- 1:10:35you get it, get into this. But see that's the thing I'm worried
- 1:10:39about. This is because the way I'm listening to, you know, because
- 1:10:43usually get you get two weeks off spaceball, no region like change, no
- 1:10:48rEFInd so that that stuff to be like gym memberships, it takes you nine
- 1:10:55months. You have to call them every month and they tell you the same
- 1:10:57thing. I'm like, well, I told you all to take this off.
- 1:11:00Oh did you say that? Yeah? Have you ever went through that
- 1:11:02with a gym? That's what recurry And it's like like they didn't get the
- 1:11:10memo. No, I'm sorry, take that off. Well, what you
- 1:11:13could do is you could just email us at this email address and then it'll
- 1:11:16take three to five business days and then it'll be handled. Okay, And
- 1:11:20then I go do all that right, and then next month it's still on
- 1:11:24the statement. Yeah, well I think, are you sure? Hold on?
- 1:11:27Let me look at that. I got that issue with what it is.
- 1:11:30That's crazy. What you could do, react is why don't you email
- 1:11:34us and want to take it off? And in about three to five business
- 1:11:39stage it will be taken care of. How you get you I got the
- 1:11:43same situation with a band instrument. Folk used to be like the Gestapo.
- 1:11:53Clark's going twenty one points. Uh, she hit three five threes in her
- 1:11:57first preseason game. Uh, it is some rumor with Aliah Boston because live
- 1:12:03Boston, who's their star center already upset she wasn't getting enough shots last year.
- 1:12:09But I thought she would be happy because Caitlyn Clark would open up some
- 1:12:13lane, some lanes and stuff. But she's right now, she's not sure.
- 1:12:20BOK. All right, come in, let me talk to you real
- 1:12:23quick. Hey, ain't you just on your second year calling me like you
- 1:12:29hearried about the wrong thing. You hearned about the wrong thing, new one.
- 1:12:32I'm trying to tell you about passing me thebout eight months longer than me.
- 1:12:39Hey, oh my, this girl, thank I'm playing. You're gonna
- 1:12:43have to see. But I got a ring I gotta. I'm a one
- 1:12:45of those, you know. Just listen to security. We'll be back right
- 1:12:51after this. I don't be triggered. Man, understand press Joan Bolway or

- 1:15:11And now back to the sports job, Wayne Yady Goat goa Goat Goat
- 1:15:21show. It's shiverary. We're gonna it's shiver They were gonna sit bet like
- 1:15:28it's shivery, and you know we don't give up. Welcome back to the
- 1:15:32show. A couple of birthdays from yesterday, and to Jason Witten, the
- 1:15:40future Hall of Famer of commanding Greggs Dallas Cowboys forty two. I still don't
- 1:15:46understand all the scrutiny anytime I think Cowboys. I don't understand. There's always
- 1:15:54something about Dak Prescott in the news. And I still don't understand what d
- 1:16:00hasn't done for this Cowboy team. I'm not even a Dak fan, But
- 1:16:08Dak gives the Cowboys a chance to win of Sundays. Does that mean they
- 1:16:15win? Oh? No, But he's doing his part. I don't.
- 1:16:17I don't. Sometimes I get lost the scrutiny that Dak falls under. I
- 1:16:25think a lot of that is just that's what people have been kind of conditioned
- 1:16:29to do. Blame the quarterback. It's got to be the quarterback's fall,
- 1:16:31got to be. But I threw four touchdown and that's what I'm saying.
- 1:16:39We needed, we needed, And the problem is you keep making excuses like
- 1:16:45that I threw four. Well that makes a difference, though, because we
- 1:16:47need if you if you only threw four and you needed five to win.
- 1:16:50He came up short, and no he did not see see there you come,
- 1:16:56because he would have had to be in the position to know he needed
- 1:17:00a fifth. But he just stated it like it was fact. Though,
- 1:17:04Yeah, he came up short. Laid to blame at the foot of the
- 1:17:08court. One of the one of the idiotic views of football is to wait
- 1:17:14till the end to tell me what I would have needed. People who talk
- 1:17:19about a field goal that was missed in the first quarter, talking about that's
- 1:17:23what lost us the game at the end. See we had made that field
- 1:17:27goal. Well, if you had made that field goal, maybe you wouldn't
- 1:17:30have got the touchdown on the next drive. You ever thought about it that
- 1:17:33way, right? So how would that know he needed a fifth touchdown until
- 1:17:40y'all let them come back and then they kicked me the ball with one second.
- 1:17:45See that that's the leadership. That's like leadership. I'm talking about you.
- 1:17:49You you never take accountability, and it's always it's like when that that's
- 1:17:55an idiotic way of measuring somebody. Oh you needed five, Sure I needed
- 1:18:02five, But when I sat down, I got the ball. Background I
- 1:18:06needed a touchdown. Sure, but if I never got that opportunity, I
- 1:18:11didn't know I needed five touchdown when I sat down. We were in the
- 1:18:14league. We scored forty two points. Right, Tom Brady wouldn't made the
- 1:18:16excuse he's got he got it some kind of one. That's what fun to
- 1:18:21say. Oh yeah, okay, So he he scored the touch the one
- 1:18:26game winning touchdown from ninety nine yards one second left, right, no timeouts.
- 1:18:34Jason went forty two. Cam Hey with future Hall of Famer as well
- 1:18:39with the Stealers, son of Ironhead. It's always so happy to see him
- 1:18:44and his dad play together with the Rams. Back in ninety eight, Cam
- 1:18:50would have been what four five years old? Then somewhere there seven years old,
- 1:19:00But good to see Cam Cam Heyward feature all the famous Steelers. Josel
- 1:19:03two v uh is thirty four years old. Say hey, kid, Willie
- 1:19:10Maids. I know y'all thought Willy Maids was dead. Listen, that's not
- 1:19:13my fault. Though, it's not my fault. Say hey, say hey
- 1:19:16kid, I thought listen, not only did I think he was dead,
- 1:19:19I thought he'd been dead since the seventy He's still alive. See that's clickback,
- 1:19:26y'all. That's how Google. Maybe because happy birthday. I'm gonna be
- 1:19:33honest right now, you thought I still think he kind of day? Did
- 1:19:38you kind of still think he dead? I ain't gonna lie. I thought
- 1:19:41he was. I thought maybe it was a misprint and they forgot to take
- 1:19:44him off, because because what do you do, Like you go to and
- 1:19:47you would see their name, and it would if you would see their name
- 1:19:51is if it is they're still alive. If it's said was Okay, So
- 1:19:57where it says is as of right now, he's ninety three. That's Barry
- 1:20:01Bond's godfather ninety three years old to say, hey kids, I ain't clicking
- 1:20:05the wish him happy heart this identity. I'm telling you. I'm telling you,
- 1:20:10well, he may have been dead. So seventy seven, So who
- 1:20:13did so? Who who in that era then? If not Willie, who
- 1:20:17it was another one? I thought that was. I'm thinking, like I
- 1:20:19said, Willie may say, hey kid, wasn't there somebody else that was
- 1:20:23on that same team that was just as popular as making those catches? Also,
- 1:20:27That's why I was I don't know. I thought he was dead too,
- 1:20:30about twenty years ninety three years old old. My man John Abraham should
- 1:20:35be in the Hall of Fame forty six years old. George Clooney, the
- 1:20:40actor sixty three, Future Hall of Famer, Chris Paul thirty nine, Meet
- 1:20:45Meal thirty seven, and Ngel Reese. We talked about her and the Chicago
- 1:20:50team not being on the WNBA app twenty two. PJ. Tucker is thirty
- 1:20:57nine. The NBA baller James Connor. Last time I checked, James was
- 1:21:00with Arizona. Is he still with that Cardinals used to play for the Stellers.
- 1:21:05It's twenty nine years old. James early in his career. He then
- 1:21:10cole Caser. He had cancer and overcame Witsburgh and still Pittsburgh st big running
- 1:21:15back, too much bigger than you think, real physical. Not as big
- 1:21:18as Derrick Henry, but he's much bigger than you think. Vanessa Bryant forty
- 1:21:26two. Superman, Well, it used to be Superman. They've decided to
- 1:21:30go in another direction. But he Henry Cavell, Yeah, Henry is Cavell.
- 1:21:35Henry. I think it's caval Cavil is forty one years old. Chris
- 1:21:43Brown is thirty five, and Adele is thirty six years of a clonk for
- 1:21:50you out there that might let like Red Lobster commands you Greg because he loves
- 1:21:57the biscuits over the red Lobsters. I always remember it because, you know,
- 1:22:05growing up, you know, from a certain level of income, my
- 1:22:11mom would take me and my sister over the Red Lobster, and she was
- 1:22:17heavy on the biscuits, Chatta Bay biscuits, but the biscuits were free.
- 1:22:24Then you just eat all the biscuits, and then she would order the admiral
- 1:22:28feast, and we all had to split it. Okay, the admirals feast
- 1:22:33and you could, you could get your favorite piece of feat well out there.
- 1:22:39No, she she got the parts I left. She left us.
- 1:22:43The little stuff was a little part that's supposed to have been soft shell crab
- 1:22:48or something. Was it supposed to be not not calamari. It's just really
- 1:22:57dope. But I can't. Oh, it was like four things on the
- 1:23:01I thought it was soft shell crab. It was it was fish. Must
- 1:23:04have been in Chicago. Anybody had no short fish. Scamp scampy was on
- 1:23:14there. Clam clams. There you go, clams. She was all,
- 1:23:18but there was no clam in the clam. It was just a lot of
- 1:23:24clam seasoning, a lot of in the clam. So that's when I think
- 1:23:28of Red Lost. Are your Red Loster guys? Are you all gonna be
- 1:23:30hurt at their closing? No? I think I've been maybe twice my whole
- 1:23:34life. I like Red Lost. I'm qussure's your number one date spot.
- 1:23:43Hey, let me tell you back in the day, the Red Lost.

- 1:26:30the sports John Wayne Gandy Player's Lounge have been given full access to the players
- 1:26:40lounge on The Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy. Baby does he do it
- 1:27:03for you and he's finished? Does he step just got in? Love?
- 1:27:15Was wasted? London baby, Welcome back to this one chuck shot up,
- 1:27:23this one shock win game. The NBA Playoffs have moved to the second round
- 1:27:29finally after yesterday the Calves taking down the Magic and an exciting game in a
- 1:27:36tight series went to a game seven. But the Calves, behind Donovan Mitchell,
- 1:27:43who's always up for a big game, had a couple of forty point
- 1:27:46games, dropped one fifty point game in this series, having enough to move
- 1:27:50on. Now out of the two teams, Orlando and Cleveland, you look
- 1:27:56at the personnel, you do feel like the Havelves personnel wise, have a
- 1:28:01better chance against the Celtics. If Orlando takes on the Celtics, maybe five
- 1:28:09games the Calves, based on how much rest they can, you know,
- 1:28:14muster up and because Donovan Mitchell has had to play a lot of minutes,
- 1:28:18maybe get you to six. But easily the Celtics could sweep this series with
- 1:28:24the talent they have. But we're talking about the Celtics though, that seem
- 1:28:29to have that kind of lack of daisical approach some nights where they just kind
- 1:28:34of float and for some reason they lose a game. So it's one of
- 1:28:39those teams that I would never bet sweets a team, right, because they
- 1:28:44don't seem to always play on the edge. And it's interesting. I wanted
- 1:28:48to ask of the teams, it's you say, it's eight of them now?
- 1:28:53Yes, we got the Calves, Celtics, the Knicks Pacers. I
- 1:28:58think they play a game tonight in that series they played tonight, okay,
- 1:29:02see in Dallas. I want to believe that game is also tonight. That
- 1:29:06first game, uh, maybe tonight as well. Minnesota Denver Game two?
- 1:29:15Okay game two and that so it's Knicks Pacers, Knicks Pacers and Minnesota Denver
- 1:29:20tonight, right and okay, okay, see in Dallas, I guess will
- 1:29:24probably be tomorrow with the Cavs and the Celtics. And now, in my
- 1:29:29opinion and from all of what I can remember about this coming NBA season,
- 1:29:33the only people that we gave a fighting chance maybe would have been Denver.
- 1:29:44Maybe maybe the Celts Dallas could if they do. We see a lot of
- 1:29:51perennial names not mentioned at the end of this season are a lot of teams
- 1:29:58that you expected to be here. I surely thought Milwaukee would have done better
- 1:30:04than they did. We surely had a lot of hopes hung on the Lakers
- 1:30:09with language like given the level of talent, and we expect too and we
- 1:30:15don't see that. Now. Well, what you get is is like even
- 1:30:18any kind of playoffs in any sport, especially team sport, you have to
- 1:30:26figure out who is the healthiest. Because when you talk about Milwaukee Bucks and
- 1:30:31I tell you, well, Yanni's is not going to play and you didn't
- 1:30:34know that day one, But Milwaukee be team without Yanna's is you know,
- 1:30:43not even in the commons. The same thing with the Lakers. And I
- 1:30:46said earlier in the Lakers case, it wasn't the two or three names,
- 1:30:51it was the other seven people that were never around to perform. So when
- 1:30:57you look at this, I didn't even think the Knicks will get this far
- 1:31:00without Julius Randall. But that trade that they made from Toronto Toronto, right,
- 1:31:05Yeah, Anobi has paid out jennof dividends because he was He's been able
- 1:31:12to take up that slack that of Julius Randall would take. But the Minnesota
- 1:31:17Denver game exmite excitement there and man Anthony Edwards, we had a show maybe
- 1:31:26in March, we were talking about who could Lebron past the baton two and
- 1:31:33be the face of the league. We talked about that and the different aspects
- 1:31:39that it takes. I know, I think what sparked that conversation. We
- 1:31:43were talking about so many European and foreign born players. There was a report
- 1:31:49that maybe about a third of the league now is from something. So we
- 1:31:55didn't have you couldn't you couldn't put Joker. We were talking more from an
- 1:31:59American standpoint, So Joker, Luca, those names, even Gil, Christian
- 1:32:08Alexander being from Canada, So we were talking about from an American who could
- 1:32:14be And I know one of the names we spoke was Anthony Edwards because of
- 1:32:18his style and his game. One thing about Americans you really have to be.
- 1:32:25You can't be a center or a power forward. Our country just will
- 1:32:30not give you any love from them positions if you're not in the two guard
- 1:32:40kind of game. And when I say that, it's like we disrespect Tim
- 1:32:44Duncan, we disrespect Karl Malone. We disrespect centers as a whole position,
- 1:32:54where we just avoided them out of the All Star Game. Start talking about
- 1:32:58positionless basketball right front court. It's front court. Yeah, front court basketball
- 1:33:04is the new time. So to what we just totally decided their game does
- 1:33:11not even even when last week we were talking to a bad producer with Kareem
- 1:33:14ab Dul Jabbar. It's really that Jabbar was a sinner. We do not
- 1:33:24respect that. You're here still he was taller than everybody. Oh, nobody
- 1:33:29could block his Well, what it's about? So we always looking for the
- 1:33:33rules to your advantage. Excuse me using the rules to your event, but
- 1:33:36we feel like that's wrong when it comes to who is the best. We
- 1:33:42want someone to look like a like a Michael Jordan or Julius Irving that you
- 1:33:46said that kind of guy, but you said that I wanted to KG just
- 1:33:50well, Kevin Garnett this past weekend just said that, and we want to
- 1:33:55get your your opinion because I know you saw he said Anthony Edwards, remind
- 1:33:58him of a nineteen eighty four Michael Jordan right now, And a lot of
- 1:34:02people missed that and went over the head because if you remember when Michael,
- 1:34:05that was the year I mean before he started winning in ninety six, ninety
- 1:34:10two, all that the eighty he was an athletic all you see was the
- 1:34:12athleticism and the explosion and all that. So that's where you see with Anthony
- 1:34:16Edwards right now? Is that? But hopefully he can like you said he
- 1:34:21can, Well, I don't, I don't. I don't equate Anthony Edwards
- 1:34:26to Michael Jordan. When I see an thespy, I think more Dwayne Wade.
- 1:34:30Okay, that's what I've always He's the modern day d Wade to me
- 1:34:34when I watch him on the court, same kind of bodybill, explosiveness,
- 1:34:42kind of more you know, Mike, Mike was smoother he was his explosiveness
- 1:34:48looked smoother, like he was more slow motion. Anthony Edwards looked like he
- 1:34:53is going that fast like you know, you know, like they like a
- 1:34:57tall, tall receiver like a Randy Moss with a long stride. Looks like
- 1:35:01he's not running as fast and then you'll get a tyreek hill and you see
- 1:35:05his legs moving. That's how I'm equating Michael Jordan's. He got up just
- 1:35:11as high, but it looked like he was so smoothing it. Anthony Edwards
- 1:35:15looks like a ball of energy like he was here and then you know he
- 1:35:19was there son, And that's how da Wayne when he first showed up before
- 1:35:27the you know flash he was he was here then he was dead right,
- 1:35:30because that that's what they used to call him flash. So that's what Anthony
- 1:35:34Edwards is a star in the making. I thought he had the look as
- 1:35:41far as his body, because you don't want to be too you're more acceptable,
- 1:35:45the more relatable. Someone thinks they can go to the gym and make
- 1:35:49themselves look like that, right. I could hoop somebody the trainer telling you,
- 1:35:56oh, man, I can get you that Anthony Edwards body. It's
- 1:35:59different than him trying to tell you I can get you the Greek freak well
- 1:36:04look and even the white House look, I can't longer. Yeah, And
- 1:36:11there are some little kids get that stuff kind of man. Look, it's
- 1:36:16a little kid leaving lunch right now, like let's go hom ad. I
- 1:36:21mean, but man has been exciting. He had a team town called Anthony
- 1:36:30Towns. Looks like he believes he has a running mate. And sometimes you
- 1:36:40are robbing and you're waiting on Batman to show up. And that's how he
- 1:36:45plays his disposition. His personality always has come across like like a KD k
- 1:36:54D. And there's certain guys that they're just as good as you're a player,
- 1:36:59but they're the meaner. Is not of that? They still want to
- 1:37:01fall in line and kind of follow, and they're gonna always make you question
- 1:37:06is he the better player? But he still wants to And that's what when
- 1:37:11I watch called Anthony Town, he looks like, man, you know what
- 1:37:15Superman here, let's Justice League, Let's do this, Let's do this now.
- 1:37:19And he ready to participate. He was looking explosive the other night himself
- 1:37:24so dangerous team. They seem to have the athletes to fight with Denver,
- 1:37:30something the Lakers did not have. Uh Lebron was fighting Anthony Davis was fighting
- 1:37:39the point guard, D'Angelo Russell doing what DeAngelo Russell does, go in,
- 1:37:45go in and out of who I want to play tonight because I don't know
- 1:37:49how man can give you thirty one night and zero to now that how to
- 1:37:57add that up? And that's not focused. That's the thing that I'm saying
- 1:38:01that makes you go like, is it something really going on with you?
- 1:38:05Or are you just on that? Come on, man, but what made
- 1:38:09me grab you in the locker room? You know what, I'm like,
- 1:38:12bruh, Ain't no way you got no. Uh, it's like with your
- 1:38:15kids. Ain't no way. You got an A in chemistry and you got
- 1:38:20a D minus in gym. No, no, no, We're not gonna

- 1:41:45twenty one in the first game. We did, Uh hitting from three.
- 1:41:48I don't know why you out there continuing to hate that that young lady.
- 1:41:56It's supposed to fail. I don't get We're you look at her game and
- 1:42:00think failure. I don't get that just might think she might not be able
- 1:42:09to dominate but eventually in three or four years, you keep forgetting. In
- 1:42:15three or four years, she'll be playing against the people she just left in
- 1:42:17college. That's how it ends up peeing. It's just a group of those
- 1:42:24people move on. But twenty one points for her. I still want to
- 1:42:28see what the Angel reached because I'm pulling for Angel. Only thing I said,
- 1:42:31remember that show. I told you Angel has to either she's distracted or
- 1:42:36she's out of shape, one of the two. And that's the thing.
- 1:42:42Going to WNBA. It might be a shock to her. The girls,
- 1:42:45the women at her position, they are the ones who really are the ballers
- 1:42:50of the w NBA. The people she will be guarding, like the Brianna
- 1:42:57Stewarts and stuff. They're gonna be the ones taking the ball down the court.
- 1:43:00That little slow trot when she do this, that ain't gonna get it.
- 1:43:02You got to go. So you're out of shape because you was out
- 1:43:05there trying to shoot videos with the bad producer or something got you distracted,
- 1:43:11trying to find a new name from trying to switch from by you Barbie to
- 1:43:15something that sounds like rhymes with Chicago. And I always remember at the beginning
- 1:43:18of the season with l s U. I thought, maybe that's why she
- 1:43:21was suspended for those two weeks. She didn't pass the running test and she
- 1:43:29was suspended. Remember, she was, what I'm saying, made up something
- 1:43:32about class or what was the She wasn't making it some reason why she couldn't
- 1:43:41practice, And I was like, you know what, she the old school,
- 1:43:45because if you don't pass the running tests, they won't let you.
- 1:43:48Well, at least when I was in gollege, they wouldn't let you practice
- 1:43:50for a week. So that seemed like that would hurt you even more because
- 1:43:57you're not in the chance to get you wind up. If not there practice,
- 1:44:00you're just not you running. Oh oh okay, you just running all
- 1:44:05yeah, you're just running trying to get your wind up to even participate with
- 1:44:09us. They just run you though, Brady, you don't get so I
- 1:44:13didn't say you wasn't out there getting it in. You just playing on the
- 1:44:16play I thought they send him back to play the PlayStation or whatever. You
- 1:44:19just to go chill. No, you can't get fad producer some reason out
- 1:44:28of the blue text us the other day guys that Damien, Tony Parker,
- 1:44:34d White Howard and Chris Mullen all are better than Damian Lillard. I was
- 1:44:44gonna remember that TEXTI sent out of those three guys, Tony Parker, the
- 1:44:50White Howard Chris Mullen, Are any of those three guys better than Damian Lillard?
- 1:44:58If there is one, who would you or two or all three?
- 1:45:04Who would you say? Come anchie? I seem as weird because they all
- 1:45:12play a different position than him. But as far as like looking at the
- 1:45:19like the top seventy five players from that list, I would have maybe Dwight
- 1:45:26Howard over Lillard slightly just because of his his accolades, and he had more
- 1:45:32of an impact than Orlando, So he's he's the only one. If you
- 1:45:36was gonna take Dame Lillard out, if I was gonna take him out,
- 1:45:39you put Dwight in. I can. I can see that very much.
- 1:45:42What about you, Big Kenny? To be honest, when bab Dusa texts
- 1:45:46us throughout the week, I usually ignore those texts because it's it's it's always
- 1:45:50something nonsensical I'm saying, and it's not always it's ninety nine percent something right
- 1:45:57that doesn't make sense. And so I looked at Over and him making comparison
- 1:46:01automatically qualifies if it's nonsense, but I I would say Dwight Howard definitely has
- 1:46:15and I don't know if it would be Dwhite's most recent body of work,
- 1:46:20but there was a time when he was the story in the NBA and his
- 1:46:26performance matched that coverage. Yeah, so we're in unison that at least the
- 1:46:30three of us. The White is the only of those three that I could
- 1:46:32say if you told me Dwhite was in the top seventy five and Dame was
- 1:46:38not, I can go with that. The other two I wouldn't say we're
- 1:46:41top seventy five players of all time, but I can see if you voted
- 1:46:47Dwight as one of the top seventy five players all time over Damon and literally
- 1:46:54So yeah, answer, well, I bought it up because of one of
- 1:46:57our listeners. He he had mentioned it on another board that we were talking
- 1:47:01and talking about in regardless at the Dane and the Bucks loss. And I
- 1:47:08thought it was interested too, because I agree with him on that point as
- 1:47:11far as like if you look at uh, not just the body of work,
- 1:47:14I thought, if Tony Parker and Dwight, it's a stretch with Chris
- 1:47:18Mullins, but I thought Chris Mullins was a great player in the NBA and
- 1:47:24college, So I mean, I don't. I don't. It's just like
- 1:47:28you said when, like Kenny said earlier, you would thought that Milwaukee would
- 1:47:31have went a little farther with the acquisition of Dame to the team. And
- 1:47:35you have to wear it like you said about if Joannice it's not there or
- 1:47:40the other player what's his name, Chris Joe Johnson is better than Tony Parker
- 1:47:44and Chris Mullin. Yeah, I would because I'm a Joe Johnson. How
- 1:47:50long has it been since Chris Mullen played? I mean, like what era?
- 1:47:55But I'm not knocking necessarily Chris Mullen. I mean, Chris Mullins was
- 1:47:59a nice name. Come on, I didn't say it wasn't. I'm saying,
- 1:48:01if these are the peak picks and we are there picking teams, I
- 1:48:04got a couple of people that I would, you know, arguable, and
- 1:48:08then I'm not going because I take Joe. I mean, but the White
- 1:48:11Howard could be. If I saw the White Howard on the top seventy five
- 1:48:15lists, I could see how you got him on there. Mainly because I'm
- 1:48:19a guy who appreciates offense and defense. I don't do the modern day everything
- 1:48:26is based on how many points you scored. Yes, and that's what Tony
- 1:48:30Parker. I'm on the whole what you do on the other side of the
- 1:48:34court, right, well, and that's what Tony Parker and Chris Mullett.
- 1:48:38They played both sides of the court. They played defense also, not only
- 1:48:41the offensive side, all with Dwight and all them. So I mean,
- 1:48:45like you said, you have some got like Joe Johnson, excellent, I
- 1:48:47could insert him instead of Chris mulleins and made the argument even Okay, you
- 1:48:54know, we'll be back more of a sports job show. He really wanted
- 1:48:58to tell us about how him and his dude take his notes and they do
- 1:49:01another show. He was he was just close. He was just close to
- 1:49:06you said you said it was eleven forty two, right. You don't realize
- 1:49:10he won't find any piece until he confess, So you say it was eleven
- 1:49:14forty five, right, And it's written on that paper right back, Beauty

- 1:51:38Wayne Gandy. Now it's time for the school board when we put a spin
- 1:51:45on life and sports and how they intermingle on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne
- 1:51:53Gandy. Uh Uh. I used to pray the times like this, the
- 1:52:00rhyme like this, So I had to grind like that to shine like this.
- 1:52:03In a matter of time, I spent on some locked up in the
- 1:52:06back of the paddy wagon. Cuts locked on wrist. See my dreams of
- 1:52:11folk night man, It's come true. It was time to marry the game.
- 1:52:15And I say, yeah, I do. If you wanted you got
- 1:52:16to see it with a clear out. You got shut that. She trying
- 1:52:19and bless me like I said, I like a sneeze. What makes you
- 1:52:24this? More shock? Shoe with more shock? Wayne? Againee? Is
- 1:52:28this your study tour or your girl's tour? This is not what she meant
- 1:52:33when she she said she wanted more. I didn't. He was lying hearted
- 1:52:39though he hearted what beef, I mean, this is your too. It's
- 1:52:45not what she meant when she said she wanted you to open up more that
- 1:52:51that as as an entertainer, I thought I was finished as an entertainer.
- 1:52:56That is the murder line of ya murder line, murder line, murder line
- 1:53:01of all murder lines. Denver Nuggets small Forward Kevin Porter Junior just want us
- 1:53:05in a big shout out to you, bruh. I know you're doing your
- 1:53:10thing. I like seeing you out there. Focus and you know sometimes issues
- 1:53:15make you more focus. And just imagine this young man dealing with a whole
- 1:53:20bunch of family drama, drama. I'm talking about one brother band one doing
- 1:53:28six seven years recently got in prison. Then the youngest in the d u
- 1:53:32y last week locked up. I mean, but we all got a little
- 1:53:36brother locked up in prison, am I right? And band from the NBA,
- 1:53:42that's the older brother band from the NBA. No I think I think
- 1:53:46Kevin is the oldest. I ain't got no brother in the NBA. Michael
- 1:53:50Bord Michael is the oldest who plays for Denver. That's Michael. Michael is
- 1:53:57older. Ye. Yeah, see now I don't have a brother band from
- 1:54:00the NBA. He banned from NBA game. It's kind of close. This
- 1:54:05is you know, I'm saying we compete the same level. Yeah, we
- 1:54:09compete now here is my point. So Michael Porter Junior, who's only twenty
- 1:54:13five but doing a great job, really remember came out he got hurt.
- 1:54:18He started his career with a bad knee injury. I think it was a
- 1:54:23back injury. Okay, yeah, but it's really blossomed into a top player
- 1:54:27in the last couple of weeks. With three brothers that all are grouped in
- 1:54:31his age, it's not like one brother's fifty and one brother's six. They're
- 1:54:39all clustered right there, sixteen eighteen months apart. So they grew up together.
- 1:54:44But to still be performing great job by him, Michael Irvin and a
- 1:54:48lot of people. And it's not just Mike Irvin out over at the NFL
- 1:54:53Network. NFL Network with major changes over the last couple of weeks. They
- 1:55:00are consolidating, They've canceled a couple of their morning shows and really are just
- 1:55:04retooling. When the NFL Network started the competition for these games, especially on
- 1:55:13when you talk about places like Amazon and Peacock, we're just not there,
- 1:55:16right, and that's what's putting them out of businesses. Basically Walmart and Home
- 1:55:24Depot have come calling yes and putting these mom and pop shops up. That's
- 1:55:30all it is. It's nothing about their product as much as when these these
- 1:55:34screaming services have decided they want part of the business, they're getting it.
- 1:55:41And it's a bidding war, and it's really what are they're They're not leaving
- 1:55:45NFL Network anything. And I always thought that if NFL Network maybe start focusing
- 1:55:53on their league, may be producing just any and everybody from all the legends
- 1:56:02from that people heard about never really got to see, Like just start doing
- 1:56:06a thirty for thirty version of NFL Network. Don't call it for thirty for
- 1:56:11thirty, but something like in that manner, well of all kinds of players
- 1:56:16of could be regional stars that people knew doesn't always just have to be.
- 1:56:24You have a whole hundred years of different players that some of us got to
- 1:56:29see, some of us didn't that might have just been big in high school
- 1:56:31or college that people would be interested in knowing their story, so, you
- 1:56:38know, and bringing back to life something. You're gonna have to offer some
- 1:56:42of that because Amazon has come. Yeah, man, And then the thing
- 1:56:47about Amazon is they hit you with the I'm already in the house baby.
- 1:56:53I mean, you ain't got to do nothing but just just just search from
- 1:56:58your preference. That's all you gotta dude. It's not like you gotta add
- 1:57:00me, I'm already here. And don't forget your whole food's discount. You
- 1:57:04go down there just showing me. Wait wait wait, wait wait, you're
- 1:57:06saying, I get discount on the snacks, you will give me the game
- 1:57:11and a discount on the food that I showing my prime healthy food, showing
- 1:57:15my prime call. Hey, listen, what do you? It ain't you,
- 1:57:24It ain't you. This is me and my new direction. I feel
- 1:57:30like we're not going the same place anymore. Sad news. I'm reading right
- 1:57:33here before we go coming out of Ohio State Stadium at graduation yesterday, someone
- 1:57:40fell out of the stadium and passed away, one dead at Ohio State University
- 1:57:45after falling from stadium doing graduations at What were you doing way up there?
- 1:57:53I doubt now you were doing something up there. I doubt that the horseshoe
- 1:57:57holds like one fifty thousand or something some crazy number, the one five.
- 1:58:01It ain't big in a Michigan, But you know what I'm saying, they're
- 1:58:03up there with the top two or three stadiums as far as capacity. I'm
- 1:58:06saying the people, how many of you trying to graduate? You might have
- 1:58:10be right, it might have been one hundred that because they had seats on
- 1:58:12the on the field. The field you know what I'm saying, how many?
- 1:58:15How many people trying to graduate? I'm sure you had enough space.
- 1:58:19I just don't want it to be. They were up there trying to get
- 1:58:21some picture. Of course it was sports John. They was trying to hang
- 1:58:26a sign. They were trying to have their viral moment. It's hard for
- 1:58:30me to believe that you were doing necessary and approved normal things and flipped out
- 1:58:39of a stadium. Did any of you find out why Jake Paul and like
- 1:58:44Tyson fight needed to be y'all are supposed to be looking that up this weekend.
- 1:58:48Yeah, I said, I for the money. That's why they sanctioned
- 1:58:53it. Remember, y'all supposed to be trying to figure out why I didn't.
- 1:58:55I didn't look it up. I just sort of surmised in my mind,
- 1:58:59my scientifty they got to sign the money line. Gotta be you gotta
- 1:59:03get the money line. There's gotta be some sort of scientific thing to it.
- 1:59:06Because we both came up with money. We didn't we didn't we didn't
- 1:59:10investigate together. Oh okay, that's it. Mike, Tyson and Jake Paul
- 1:59:15in July, right before the Olympic ceremony starts. I think they will be
- 1:59:18fighting. Mike Tyson by that time will be fifty eight years old. For
- 1:59:24some of you that might not know, might need to walk in with with
- 1:59:27with his uh on strand and it's blowing in the air when he walking in
- 1:59:30the ring and we are in the ocean. The truth is he will throw
- 1:59:36your to the ocean. It's time to wrap things up. On the Sports
- 1:59:41Judge Show with Wayne Gandy, we decided an ocean to give some smatch y'all
- 2:00:27Tessa minute to Vin. Would like to thank you for tuning in to today's
- 2:00:30show. If you missed any of the show, please go to Apple Podcast,
- 2:00:33Amazon Podcast, Spotify, Audible Peaser, or iHeartRadio and catch the show
- 2:00:43right after we go off air. Last week, it's easy to know who
- 2:00:46was going in the ocean command she Greg even had an issue with Patrick Beverley,
- 2:00:54Pat and the meltdown last week, throwing the ball out a fan.
- 2:01:00It's costing itself money and it had the audacity Pat Beverley of the Milwaukee Bucks
- 2:01:05to tell a reporter that if they were not subscribe to his podcast, they
- 2:01:15could not interview him. I can't interview you if I'm not subscribed to your
- 2:01:24podcast in the capacity of what the heck? Pat Bell, Please continue to
- 2:01:33take your medicine. I know you got some bipolar medicine somewhere, Pat Bell,
- 2:01:41get out and stuff just go crazy. We would like to hang out
- 2:01:46with Patrick Beverly sometimes leave Pat Bell home. You can't come unless you bring
- 2:01:58it. Hey, Patrick, you bring your Pat Bam. No, that's
- 2:02:03why we ain't doing nothing. Somebody take a picture of here. But telling
- 2:02:06people again actually interview you at an interview that they're not subscribed to your podcast
- 2:02:14is not a way to get your podcast going. I'm sorry. Maybe use
- 2:02:18those people to help you float it. But for your meltdown last week,
- 2:02:25Pat Beverley, Pat Bell, excuse me, fuck the plank. That's the
- 2:02:35second time this year, patdam First of it was the whitest of the white
- 2:02:41guys and the blackest whitest of the black guys, and now you just keep
- 2:02:45it going. It says that Patrick Beverly has released a statement on behalf of
- 2:02:49Pat Bell and Patrick Beverley and apologizing for everything that Pat Ball has done.
- 2:02:57We hope y'all have a good week. We'll see you later in the week.
- 2:03:00From the Sports Shop show. Peace
