Jenkintown’s community is building a brand-new $1.3 million playground, Legacy Park, after tearing down the unsafe old “Castle” in April. With help from local donors, businesses, and grants, residents are volunteering over a weekend in July and August to assemble key features like drum stations and log seating — guided by pros from Kompan and Eustace Engineering.
