A tense night outside a Tacoma Walmart ended with an off-duty cop detaining a teen for shoplifting, only for a car to suddenly fire four shots—possibly at the officer or randomly—as they wrestled on the ground. The store went into lockdown, closed early, and no one was hurt. Police found a gun on the teen, who’s now charged with theft, resisting arrest, and unlawful gun possession.
