- 0:48Speaker 1: how you doing man?
- 0:49Speaker 2: Doing great, Jeff, Thanks for having me looking forward to
- 0:51Speaker 2: this this night. Like I told you, appreci I think
- 0:54Speaker 2: both teams have had this game circule on our calendar.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Absolutely for some time. Yeah, absolutely, Blaine. Let everybody know
- 1:00Speaker 1: where they can find you on the social media's out there,
- 1:02Speaker 1: on the internet and on the web out there. You

- 1:07Speaker 1: over at sp Nation, So let folks know where they
- 1:10Speaker 1: can find you.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Yeah, you can find all that work over at Churchatimes
- 1:13Speaker 2: dot Com. Do a lot of writing over there. Then
- 1:14Speaker 2: I'm over on Twitter at the Gresacks TST. And then
- 1:17Speaker 2: I'm just kind of starting to get into the YouTube game.
- 1:19Speaker 2: So I YouTube channel going this season, So follow me
- 1:23Speaker 2: up there for the Rams call sheet with Blaine Gresac
- 1:26Speaker 2: and then yeah, be sure to subscribe.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Awesome, awesome, Great, let's get into this pregame preview show here.
- 1:34Speaker 1: I mean, Blaine, I feel like the Rams and the
- 1:37Speaker 1: Eagles are two teams thus far here in the twenty
- 1:40Speaker 1: twenty five twenty twenty six NFL season who really aren't
- 1:43Speaker 1: playing the best football that they can be playing, but
- 1:46Speaker 1: both teams are finding ways to win after two weeks.
- 1:48Speaker 1: I mean, it seems like both teams are really trying
- 1:51Speaker 1: to figure out what works and what doesn't work with
- 1:54Speaker 1: both the offensive side of the ball and the defensive
- 1:56Speaker 1: side of the ball. So two part question to start
- 1:58Speaker 1: us off in terms of strength and weaknesses within the Rams.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Let's start off with what is the biggest strength of
- 2:05Speaker 1: this Rams team after two weeks? What are your thoughts?
- 2:09Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, I think the biggest strength has been this
- 2:11Speaker 2: this defense in the in the past rush which I
- 2:13Speaker 2: think was was was to be expected. I think that
- 2:15Speaker 2: they the passage. I think they're ranking second in the
- 2:18Speaker 2: NFL behind the Denver Broncos and in sacks through through
- 2:21Speaker 2: through two weeks. So yeah, I don't think that the
- 2:25Speaker 2: passwas was necessarily, I think I think everybody kind of
- 2:28Speaker 2: saw that as the strength of this defense, but through
- 2:31Speaker 2: two weeks that they also ran the defense is a
- 2:33Speaker 2: unit rates ranks number two in in in overall success
- 2:36Speaker 2: right and EPA pri play. So yeah, this is I
- 2:38Speaker 2: I don't know how how much if that able to
- 2:41Speaker 2: sustain that top wee level over the course of the season.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Over the course of the season, but for a defense
- 2:46Speaker 2: that I think a lot many at least in the
- 2:48Speaker 2: national media, expected to maybe be a bottom ten unit
- 2:51Speaker 2: or bottom half of the league type unit, I think
- 2:53Speaker 2: they they've kind of they've kind of proven that they
- 2:56Speaker 2: they're closer to the top ten than they are on
- 2:58Speaker 2: the bottom ten.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Absolutely, they're playing strong, for sure, but we also have seen,
- 3:02Speaker 1: you know, even like with the Philadelphia Eagles, they have
- 3:04Speaker 1: some strength. So they've got some weaknesses right out of
- 3:06Speaker 1: the gate this season as well. What's the biggest weakness
- 3:09Speaker 1: thus far on this Rams team.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it's the interior of the offensive line.
- 3:15Speaker 2: They they made some changes in the off season, bringing
- 3:18Speaker 2: bringing back Homan Shelton, They've they've built a few injuries there,
- 3:22Speaker 2: see Bobby Limit missed last week. Hopefully will Helpe cove
- 3:25Speaker 2: him back for this game against the Eagles, and just
- 3:29Speaker 2: there's been if there's if there's one place Eagles are
- 3:33Speaker 2: going to probably probably probably win a matchup, it's gonna
- 3:35Speaker 2: be on the interior interior offensive line, which if you're
- 3:38Speaker 2: the Rams, that's not something you want to hear is
- 3:39Speaker 2: with Obviously, he kind of blew up, blew up their
- 3:45Speaker 2: their season on the final drive of that division round matchup.
- 3:48Speaker 2: So yeah, I think it's the intery of this offensive line.
- 3:51Speaker 2: And thankfully the Rams have Matthew Stafford at quarterback, so
- 3:53Speaker 2: he's just he's a veteran guy and kind of able
- 3:56Speaker 2: to navigate in the pocket, I think better than that
- 3:58Speaker 2: than most quarterbacks, and that's one of his I think
- 4:02Speaker 2: a part of his game that's very unerrated is just
- 4:04Speaker 2: his pocket movement and ability to evade pass rushers. So yeah,
- 4:09Speaker 2: that that inter year has been a struggle, but they've
- 4:11Speaker 2: they've they've managed and things kind of started to finally
- 4:14Speaker 2: click offensively in the second half of the Titans geaving
- 4:17Speaker 2: Week two.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Yeah, well, just to let everybody know, we're going to
- 4:20Speaker 1: be diving into the trenches a lot more, uh with
- 4:23Speaker 1: it within the next few minutes here. But Blaine. It's
- 4:26Speaker 1: a great segue into the next topic when you're talking
- 4:29Speaker 1: about Matt Stafford. I mean, he is a seasoned, veteran quarterback.
- 4:33Speaker 1: But you know last week against the Titans, you know,
- 4:35Speaker 1: he had a key interception that really allowed the Titans
- 4:38Speaker 1: offense to control the tempo for for a pretty decent
- 4:41Speaker 1: stretch of the game. So what we have seen from
- 4:45Speaker 1: Matt Stafford, Yeah, again, veteran presence out there on the field,
- 4:49Speaker 1: putting a lot of the weight on this team on
- 4:51Speaker 1: his shoulders at times so far after two weeks. But
- 4:54Speaker 1: there can be improvement for sure when it comes to
- 4:56Speaker 1: his quarterback play. Can he improve and if so, where
- 5:01Speaker 1: does he need to improve most? As this team is
- 5:03Speaker 1: really going to be facing a strong defense in the
- 5:05Speaker 1: Eagles this week.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I think for the most part. Actually, he's been
- 5:09Speaker 2: absolutely fantastic this year. I think that that the interception
- 5:12Speaker 2: of the years I'm talking about Cody Barton makes an
- 5:14Speaker 2: absolute incredible play on the ball. Can he kind of
- 5:16Speaker 2: precon up, shows himself as a blitz and then absolutely
- 5:19Speaker 2: d lines it to to to the sideline and makes
- 5:21Speaker 2: a great a great play, a great play on the ball.
- 5:23Speaker 2: But I at the same time, I think Matthew Stafford
- 5:26Speaker 2: he's that guy that kind of trusts his arm a
- 5:28Speaker 2: little too much sometimes and that honestly might might have
- 5:31Speaker 2: been one of those cases as well, where each each
- 5:34Speaker 2: he tried to force something and at the end of
- 5:35Speaker 2: the half, that's just not a mistake. That a mistake
- 5:37Speaker 2: that you can have. And for the most part, I
- 5:39Speaker 2: think through two weeks he's he's been very clean and
- 5:42Speaker 2: and and extremely efficient. He's been one of the better
- 5:44Speaker 2: quarterbacks in play action. He's going to ball out extremely quickly.
- 5:48Speaker 2: I think he's his time to throw is at two
- 5:51Speaker 2: point four to two seconds and last year was last
- 5:54Speaker 2: year it was closer to two point six, So he's
- 5:55Speaker 2: getting a lot at that's that's that's just that's just
- 6:00Speaker 2: a drastic chef almost a quarter of a second. So yeah,
- 6:04Speaker 2: giving the ball out quickly, keeping the offense on on
- 6:07Speaker 2: on track. And as of right now, he doesn't necessarily
- 6:11Speaker 2: had to had to be how to be the special
- 6:12Speaker 2: version of Matthew Safford, but we know he's capable of
- 6:14Speaker 2: capable of that if if needed, and right now he's
- 6:17Speaker 2: just he's doing a very good job I think, just
- 6:19Speaker 2: kind of managing the game when levying the game come
- 6:22Speaker 2: to him.
- 6:23Speaker 1: I think you're absolutely correct, and what needs to happen
- 6:25Speaker 1: with him getting the ball out quick this week against
- 6:28Speaker 1: the Eagles. You mentioned Jalen Carter, and we know how
- 6:30Speaker 1: dominant he is on the interior of the line and
- 6:34Speaker 1: the trenches. Also, Jordan Davis is having one hell of
- 6:37Speaker 1: a season for this Eagles team. A lot of folks
- 6:40Speaker 1: have been kind of waiting for that dominant Jordan Davis
- 6:43Speaker 1: to show up, and we've actually seen that for two
- 6:45Speaker 1: weeks now. At this point, Matt Stafford's got to get
- 6:48Speaker 1: the ball out quick, whether it's with slant routes, whether
- 6:50Speaker 1: it's with some quick outs, you know, getting the ball
- 6:53Speaker 1: to Devonte Adams to this receiving corps that the Rams
- 6:56Speaker 1: have that is pretty prolific. I think that's going to
- 6:59Speaker 1: be a very important part of Matt Stafford's game as
- 7:01Speaker 1: we're moving forward here. But I want to get into
- 7:03Speaker 1: some trenches matchups with you right off the bat here
- 7:06Speaker 1: as well, Blaine. Let's first look at the Eagles defensive
- 7:12Speaker 1: line going up against the Rams offensive line, which you
- 7:14Speaker 1: indicated you know that is going to be a concern
- 7:17Speaker 1: for Rams fans heading into this matchup. So when you
- 7:20Speaker 1: take a look at how this Eagles defensive front really
- 7:24Speaker 1: dominated the Kansas City Chiefs offensive line in this past week,
- 7:27Speaker 1: how are you seeing these matchups really taking shape this
- 7:31Speaker 1: week in some detail if you if you're able to
- 7:34Speaker 1: like dive into that with us here.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Yeah, No, I think that's a matchup that the Eagles
- 7:37Speaker 2: to cant advantage on. I mean, going back to that
- 7:42Speaker 2: divisional divisional matchup, we had Bilimmers starting starting in that game,
- 7:46Speaker 2: and he kind of made the path protection era on
- 7:50Speaker 2: Jamen Carter, which leads to Matthew Stafford having You're kind
- 7:52Speaker 2: of just tucked the ball off to put some coup
- 7:53Speaker 2: at the end and it falls incomplete.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Yep.
- 7:55Speaker 2: And he see how Tyler Hagey kind of coming across
- 7:57Speaker 2: the middle wide open that had Stafford had TI he
- 8:00Speaker 2: probably sees him. So they were playing their place Bill
- 8:03Speaker 2: Limmer with with Coleman, Shelton and and Shelton week one,
- 8:09Speaker 2: Week one, he was solid Week two a little on
- 8:12Speaker 2: the I'm on the rougher side going up against Jeffrey Simmons,
- 8:15Speaker 2: and I think Jamien Carter is a lot better than
- 8:17Speaker 2: like skill as Jeffery Simmons is. I think Jamen Carter
- 8:19Speaker 2: is even on on on on another level, and then
- 8:25Speaker 2: on the tackles like Alaric Jackson, I think is still
- 8:27Speaker 2: kind of kind of getting his feet underneath him. He
- 8:29Speaker 2: missed a lot of the off season managing some blood clots.
- 8:32Speaker 2: And then Bob haven Sign is getting getting older and
- 8:34Speaker 2: I think you're starting to see that, but bands are
- 8:36Speaker 2: also kind of kind of helping them out to that.
- 8:38Speaker 2: They've they've ran a lot of twelve personnel, which is
- 8:40Speaker 2: something that we haven't seen from Sean m Favs. For
- 8:43Speaker 2: the most part, they've been in a three wide receiver
- 8:45Speaker 2: eleven personnel team, and this year they are rocking with
- 8:48Speaker 2: a lot of twelve personnel. And Week one was Colbe
- 8:50Speaker 2: Parkinson and and and and Tyler Higbee dominant dominating the
- 8:53Speaker 2: staffs of Davis Allen rotating in, and then this past
- 8:56Speaker 2: week it was Cobe Parkinson, actually it was out, so
- 9:00Speaker 2: it was Tyler Higby and and and David Allen kind
- 9:02Speaker 2: of in those twelve personnel packages. But they've they've really
- 9:06Speaker 2: helped their their their tackles and pass protection because they
- 9:10Speaker 2: they they've ranced on tall personnel. But I think it's
- 9:12Speaker 2: something that the tackles can can be exploited. I actually
- 9:16Speaker 2: I love what Jaylex contest one so far this year. Yes,
- 9:19Speaker 2: he's a fine players. He was on my favorite play
- 9:21Speaker 2: players in that draft class too, and nicely of course,
- 9:25Speaker 2: of course it was how he rose from the nag right. No,
- 9:28Speaker 2: I think the Eagles gonna have a significant advantage there
- 9:31Speaker 2: on the defensive line.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Rams.
- 9:33Speaker 2: You have to have to find ways to mitigate that,
- 9:34Speaker 2: whether whether it's give them a lot quickly late like
- 9:36Speaker 2: like we mentioned, or with with with screens, misteraction, things
- 9:40Speaker 2: like that.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Yeah. Do you think the Rams and the offensive coordinator
- 9:43Speaker 1: they're running a lot more twelve personnel this year to
- 9:46Speaker 1: get Kiren Williams going as well, like from the run
- 9:49Speaker 1: game perspective, or is it just mainly from a pass
- 9:52Speaker 1: pro type of schematic, You know, what are your thoughts there?
- 9:57Speaker 2: Yeah, No, I think it's mostly from a from from
- 9:58Speaker 2: a pass protection stand standpoint. And then also just wait
- 10:04Speaker 2: when when you're when you're coming out a twelve person
- 10:06Speaker 2: now obvious the defense pretty much has to ask and
- 10:08Speaker 2: match that and base you're you're getting you're getting I
- 10:11Speaker 2: think some more some more matchups you can kind of
- 10:15Speaker 2: take it, take advantage in the passing game as well,
- 10:18Speaker 2: and and especially passing under center.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Yeah all right, well, uh again, folks, we're talking to
- 10:23Speaker 1: Blaine Griseak from Turf Showtimes dot com great SB Nation site.

- 11:11Speaker 1: that being said, folks, we are going to take a
- 11:13Speaker 1: break and when we come back, got a lot more
- 11:15Speaker 1: in terms of this Eagles Rams matchup that we're gonna
- 11:18Speaker 1: be seeing in week three. Stick with us, all right,
- 11:22Speaker 1: We are back with our good friend Blaine Grisak from
- 11:25Speaker 1: Turf Showtimes dot Com over at SB Nation. Always great
- 11:29Speaker 1: having him on the show when he's able to jump on. Look.
- 11:32Speaker 1: We talked about the Eagles defensive line going up against
- 11:35Speaker 1: the Rams offensive line right before the break, Blane, And
- 11:39Speaker 1: on the flip side, I'd like to dive into the
- 11:41Speaker 1: Eagles offensive line going up against the Rams defensive line.
- 11:45Speaker 1: This is going to be an extremely interesting matchup for
- 11:47Speaker 1: us all to watch. Interestingly enough, Jared Verse, he's been
- 11:51Speaker 1: kind of quiet this season, at least from the stat
- 11:54Speaker 1: sheet from everything I've seen thus far. But Byron Young,
- 11:57Speaker 1: he's really been able to take advantage of various matchups
- 12:00Speaker 1: throughout the first two weeks of the season. Here. And
- 12:02Speaker 1: this is an Eagles offensive line, as we know, that's
- 12:04Speaker 1: one of the best in the league. They've been doing
- 12:07Speaker 1: quite a fantastic job so far this season. So how
- 12:11Speaker 1: do you see this matchup really playing out this Sunday,
- 12:14Speaker 1: Eagles offensive line going up against the Rams defensive line.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Yeah, it's it's it's it's it's kind of funny, you know.
- 12:22Speaker 2: The look up we just talked about about the Rams
- 12:24Speaker 2: and how like I think, is how the interior drofensive
- 12:27Speaker 2: line that can kind of be exploited, and I kind
- 12:29Speaker 2: of I think say the same about about the about
- 12:32Speaker 2: about the Eagles is I think they can kind of
- 12:34Speaker 2: be exploited a little bit through the interior. I think
- 12:40Speaker 2: it's important for this game. Jered First has kind of
- 12:42Speaker 2: struggled with just in the past in a little bit.
- 12:46Speaker 2: They year just just just with with with with his campaign.
- 12:48Speaker 2: You've we've seen cam Ward kind of kind of be
- 12:51Speaker 2: able to break out. And if if Jayea Hurts gets
- 12:53Speaker 2: that opportunity, he's gonna take that every single time absolutely
- 12:57Speaker 2: breakaway and run. So it's gonna be important for for
- 12:59Speaker 2: for both him and and by Young Byre and Young
- 13:01Speaker 2: Tuesday discipline. But yeah, if if the the Rams are
- 13:03Speaker 2: gonna are going to win this game, that they they
- 13:05Speaker 2: they've got to get They've got to get to jam
- 13:07Speaker 2: and Hurts, make him beat, make make him beat beat
- 13:09Speaker 2: them through through the air. They've got the the the
- 13:14Speaker 2: Rams time toon a Ford in free agency for for
- 13:17Speaker 2: a primary reason for that one was to stop the run.
- 13:19Speaker 2: And so I think I think that this will be
- 13:23Speaker 2: this will be a big test. But I think for
- 13:24Speaker 2: the Rams. Watched the the NC Divisional playoff game over
- 13:28Speaker 2: and over this offseason, and then watched watch watch, watch
- 13:32Speaker 2: the back of Barthay's jersey over and over again. And
- 13:35Speaker 2: so yeah, they they they've got they've gotta be able
- 13:39Speaker 2: to contain him, and and and and and win their
- 13:41Speaker 2: matchups match up on the on the interior there, and
- 13:44Speaker 2: we'll see how thing that that Egles offensive line, like
- 13:46Speaker 2: I said, is is very good. But that's also it's
- 13:49Speaker 2: it's kind of a strength on strength matchup. Yeah.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Absolutely, And look, I think it's important for US Eagles
- 13:55Speaker 1: fans to realize that Landon Dickerson is not one. Yes,
- 13:59Speaker 1: he held up been week two. It was a storyline
- 14:01Speaker 1: we were following about his back and how that's been
- 14:04Speaker 1: a nagging injury for him since the preseason. Landon Dickerson
- 14:09Speaker 1: did hold up next week. Who knows about Week three.
- 14:11Speaker 1: We've talked about on this podcast platform how incredibly important
- 14:15Speaker 1: the Eagles medical staff and the training staff is gonna
- 14:17Speaker 1: be for Landon Dickerson to be able to make it
- 14:19Speaker 1: through this season. We're already in week three and we're
- 14:22Speaker 1: still questioning, you know, whether or not he's going to
- 14:24Speaker 1: be able to stay healthy game after game after game.
- 14:27Speaker 1: That certainly is going to be a matchup, you know,
- 14:30Speaker 1: whether it's whether it's Jared Verse, whether it's Byron Young,
- 14:34Speaker 1: maybe taking advantage of that injury that Landon Dickerson has
- 14:38Speaker 1: been nursing here for several weeks. So all right, well
- 14:42Speaker 1: let's move on here, Blaine, because the Eagles secondary, wow,
- 14:48Speaker 1: especially cornerback two, it's pretty weak, pretty weak, and Dori
- 14:52Speaker 1: Jackson has just been getting exposed more and more on
- 14:56Speaker 1: more than a few occasions over the past few weeks.
- 14:59Speaker 1: I know of a lot of US Eagles fans are
- 15:01Speaker 1: hoping to see ja Corey and Bennett perhaps maybe start
- 15:03Speaker 1: at some point, or you get some more playing time
- 15:06Speaker 1: because of Dorri Jackson. Just isn't it. We know that.
- 15:09Speaker 1: And it's interesting how you wrote this past week over
- 15:12Speaker 1: on Turf Show Times that Matt Stafford's passes to Devonte
- 15:16Speaker 1: Adams they seemed a little bit forced here. So while
- 15:21Speaker 1: they're certainly getting that rapport Matt Stafford and Davante Adams,
- 15:24Speaker 1: who is a fantastic receiver and has been for some
- 15:27Speaker 1: time in the NFL, I'm wondering how you see the
- 15:31Speaker 1: Rams receivers really matching up with this Eagles secondary that
- 15:35Speaker 1: can be exposed. What are your thoughts here.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I think we go we go back to that
- 15:42Speaker 2: to that division playoff team last year, and the offense
- 15:45Speaker 2: pretty much ran through Kuk Cooper Cup was kind of
- 15:48Speaker 2: a shell of himself, Yeah, and just wasn't as explosive.
- 15:52Speaker 2: And then DeMarcus Robinson was he was he was fine,
- 15:56Speaker 2: but he wasn't. I don't think defenses were scared of
- 15:58Speaker 2: DeMarcus Robinson per SAE or by by by any means.
- 16:02Speaker 2: But yeah, I think this is this The Rings have
- 16:06Speaker 2: two legitimate threats and Pukku in Devonte Adams, and I
- 16:09Speaker 2: think you kind of saw what I like. Like you said,
- 16:12Speaker 2: I think Stafford and Stafford and Adams report is continually
- 16:16Speaker 2: growing and I think it will continue to get better
- 16:19Speaker 2: as as the season sees. As the season goes on,
- 16:21Speaker 2: and there there there's one point in the first half
- 16:23Speaker 2: against the Titans, I think Adams had two receptions on
- 16:26Speaker 2: eight on eight targets. So it's just it was it
- 16:29Speaker 2: wasn't there, and and then that improved in the second
- 16:31Speaker 2: half at Adams had the touchdown coming out coming out
- 16:35Speaker 2: of the second half, Stafford hit hit Adams for for
- 16:39Speaker 2: I think twenty six, twenty six and nineteen yards forty
- 16:43Speaker 2: five yards on two catches just on the opening second
- 16:45Speaker 2: half drive. So yeah, I think that that's because that
- 16:51Speaker 2: Egos quarterback two spot is so vulnerable. I think this
- 16:53Speaker 2: is going to this this could end up being a
- 16:55Speaker 2: big DeVante Adams game, and and that that's a connection
- 16:57Speaker 2: that that's that's that's going to have to hit. But
- 16:59Speaker 2: at the same time as the Egos Canary, I think
- 17:02Speaker 2: outside of the quarterback two spots is so talented with
- 17:04Speaker 2: Cooper dejen and and Queen Yeah, Queen and Mitchell.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely, And let's not forget like read blank and
- 17:10Speaker 1: Ship not that bad of a safety either. And Andrew mccooba. Boy,
- 17:14Speaker 1: he really played an incredible game this past week against
- 17:17Speaker 1: the Chiefs and was one of the main reasons why
- 17:19Speaker 1: the Eagles won. Eagles defense is really strong heading into
- 17:22Speaker 1: Week three here. So with that being said, here Blaine,
- 17:25Speaker 1: we'd like to end our pregame preview shows here on
- 17:27Speaker 1: our Opposition Territory podcast with these two questions basically being
- 17:32Speaker 1: what both teams are gonna need to hit on for
- 17:35Speaker 1: a win this coming week. So let's start with the Rams.
- 17:38Speaker 1: What do you think the Rams are gonna need to
- 17:40Speaker 1: hit on for a win this week against this Philadelphia
- 17:42Speaker 1: Eagles team.
- 17:44Speaker 2: No, I think it comes down to stopping Sakoon Barklay.
- 17:47Speaker 2: You have they been able to been able to do
- 17:48Speaker 2: that in the playoff. In the playoff game, they probably win.
- 17:51Speaker 2: They probably win. And I think I saw I saw
- 17:55Speaker 2: stat on it was a Sunday night or Monday. But
- 17:58Speaker 2: Rams are not are nine and against when when all
- 18:01Speaker 2: their starters play there, they're they're they're they're they're nine
- 18:03Speaker 2: and oh against every opponent outside the outside of the
- 18:06Speaker 2: field of the Eagles. Yes, the Eagles have kind of
- 18:10Speaker 2: been been the Rams krypton that here over the last
- 18:14Speaker 2: year or so. And but yeah, I think it starts
- 18:17Speaker 2: to stop you saying from Barkley, Jalen Hurts is I
- 18:21Speaker 2: I I love Jalen Hurts, but he's I don't I
- 18:24Speaker 2: like Colomic game managers is disrespect Why I don't.
- 18:26Speaker 1: I don't.
- 18:27Speaker 2: I don't want to call a game manager by by
- 18:28Speaker 2: by by any means. But but I I think if
- 18:33Speaker 2: they can make make sure Jalen j Jalen Hurts be
- 18:37Speaker 2: beaten with it with his arm, that that's that's where
- 18:39Speaker 2: you want to be as a defense, I.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Think that's very fair to be honest with you, Blaine,
- 18:43Speaker 1: I really do, because I mean last week Jalen Hurts
- 18:45Speaker 1: had one hundred and one yards of passing. You know,
- 18:49Speaker 1: he hasn't necessarily been lighting up the the NFL when
- 18:52Speaker 1: it comes to the passing game. So I think there's
- 18:54Speaker 1: something very fair to be said for for that point
- 18:57Speaker 1: of view, for sure. But on the opposite side of
- 19:00Speaker 1: things here, what's the one thing you think the Philadelphia
- 19:02Speaker 1: Eagles are going to need to hit on for a
- 19:04Speaker 1: win against the Los Angeles Rams this week?
- 19:08Speaker 2: I think it's hitting, hitting on exposive, on explosive plays.
- 19:12Speaker 2: I think one matchup that Eagle stands are kind of
- 19:14Speaker 2: robbing at the mouth at is Emmanuel Forbes is starting
- 19:17Speaker 2: started starting at cornerback, and A J. Brown has had
- 19:20Speaker 2: a lot of success against Emmanuel Forbes there, so it
- 19:23Speaker 2: hurts kind of. He has a really nice deep ball,
- 19:27Speaker 2: and so so if if, if, if the Eagles can
- 19:30Speaker 2: kind of hit hit, hit on some of some of
- 19:31Speaker 2: those deep throws to Devonte Smith and and and A J. Brown,
- 19:36Speaker 2: I think I think the belverleage shot in this game. Well.
- 19:38Speaker 1: AJ Brown is looking to get a jump start to
- 19:40Speaker 1: this season. He's had two games and a total of
- 19:43Speaker 1: thirty five yards. Blaine, I think he us definitely going
- 19:46Speaker 1: to jump to this season. Absolutely so, my friend, it
- 19:50Speaker 1: was great having you on. Always enjoy the time that
- 19:53Speaker 1: you're able to give us here. Fantastic preview show for
