- 0:00Hello everybody, and welcome to Johnny Badger Radio. My name is Brian and
- 0:04I'm here with Allison and this is maintaining frame number fifty four. Hollywood has
- 0:09met its kryptonite, an abused man who refuses to apologize. Where we're going
- 0:14to be looking at an article from Time magazine entitled what Johnny Depp has become
- 0:20We're basically looking at. This is in the aftermath in case you guys like
- 0:25we're living under a rock for the past couple of years, the aftermath of
- 0:30the it's a defamation trial, right between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. Yes,
- 0:35and well, do you want me to give it a gun down?
- 0:39Yeah, I give the rundown because I was the one who watched it more
- 0:41religiously than anybody else. Essentially, Johnny Depp sued Amber Heard for defamation because
- 0:48she wrote an op ed in which she covertly referred to him as a wife
- 0:55beater and a rapist. And the journy found that there was no credible evidence
- 1:00for this. And yeah, then through the course of the trial, it
- 1:06became glaringly obvious to a great many people that Amber herself was the abuser and
- 1:11potential rapists. When you when you listen to some of the more disturbing parts
- 1:17of their recorded relationship, which was recorded with permission of both parties. So
- 1:23I don't know what the hell Amber thought she was going to be showing with
- 1:26that, But there were parts where she was, shall we say, getting
- 1:30incredibly aggressive and emotionally abusive and potentially physically abusing, abusive considering its Amber in
- 1:38relation to wanting to have sex with Johnny Depp, which is just all kinds
- 1:42of fucked up. So essentially, Amber just blamed him for everything she did.
- 1:47And it's all caught on tape. It's all black and white, it's
- 1:51all her own confessions or audio track of what she's doing in the moment.
- 1:57So I mean, it's it's incontrovertible, and a lot of people have realized
- 2:00it is, and I have gotten on his side. And of course what's
- 2:04interesting about all of this is he knows he was abused by her. I
- 2:08don't care if he had harsh words he spoke to another person about her harshly,
- 2:15or even if he had harsh words when she was engaging in abusive or
- 2:21and trapping behavior towards him. Okay, she was the primary abuser and I'm
- 2:27going to use that term, okay. And what has happened is he knows
- 2:35he was an abuse victim, and because he knows that, he is in
- 2:39a position of moral I would say righteousness, but he's in a position of
- 2:45moral judgment. Shall we say he has the right to judge help other people
- 2:51are treating him in regards to his abuse. I'm not saying that he can
- 2:53be abusive in turn to other people, but he is the right and he's
- 2:57taking it to say, no, you're wrong, you're wrong about this,
- 3:00you're lying about my life. I was there, I was the abuse victim.
- 3:05She was not, and she he has all the evidence to back it
- 3:07up. So what's interesting is that he refuses to back down. And Hollywood,
- 3:14I guess, is flummixed by this. I know that he did take
- 3:17a deal in order to get this woman out of his life, but he
- 3:22has not backed down on what happened, or the fact that Hollywood and the
- 3:27media are spinning an entire narrative around it that is completely false. And I
- 3:32would suggest that the fact that he has been an abuse victim, and he
- 3:38has recognized that he is an abuse victim, and he is refusing to acknowledge
- 3:43and allow anybody to rewrite his life is well both a testament to him but
- 3:47also the ultimate kryptonite for the media and Hollywood. And it's not even that
- 3:54they will necessarily agree with him. It's that he's not going to back down
- 3:59and says what he hasn't been doing so far, Ye okay, And that's
- 4:03that's you know, it's very brave I think of him, and it's it's
- 4:10something that ultimately, yeah, it's grave for any man to do that.
- 4:16Although I will say that it's I'm not going to downplay the fact that because
- 4:21he refuses to bow to their version of events and their reality, they're going
- 4:28to continue to abuse him until he's dead and they're well beyond. This will
- 4:32never end. This will never end for him. This is what happens when
- 4:36a man is an abuse victim. The only reason why we see this in
- 4:40this perpetual, never ending, churning cycle of lies that they're putting out around
- 4:46him, is because he's a high profile male abuse victim and he's gonna end
- 4:51like he's he's gonna be dealing with this his whole life because he has the
- 4:55damn audacity to be a male abuse victim, and you've got to look at
- 5:00this and just be like, just let it sink into your head, Let
- 5:04it sink into your thinking. This is what happens when a man is an
- 5:10abuse victim. The system itself continues to abuse him. Yep, to try
- 5:19to silence him. Hey, he's going to have to live with this for
- 5:25the audacity of being abused by a woman. It's just and it's because it's
- 5:33against the narrative, against the money spinning narrative. But anyway, that's my
- 5:39spiel. I probably should do the other stuff that need we need to do
- 5:43before we start, right, Yeah, so yeah, go ahead and do
- 5:46the thing. I'll ask that everybody hit the like button so that it helps
- 5:50us reach more people. I see there are twenty seven in here and counting,
- 5:56and of the likes are only at seventeen. So please smash that like
- 6:00button and help us out so that that will be the very least you could
- 6:03do is give us a like. Okay, alse and go ahead, all
- 6:06right. So I want to remind everyone that we are doing our monthly fundraiser
- 6:11to make sure we can keep these shows coming. We do come from a
- 6:15very unique perspective in which we do not. We don't blame men for basically
- 6:24being the ones who underwrite all the checks that society is cashing. And when
- 6:30the checks bounce, of course everybody's like, oh, men, they're just
- 6:33so irresponsible. Quick write some more checks, you know. And that's a
- 6:40really unique voice because the conservatives have their particular way of blaming men, which
- 6:44is weak men create bad times. And I'm like, well, what,
- 6:47what what exactly is weak about men? Right now? I mean, they're
- 6:49keeping your lights on, Conservatives, they're keeping your sewers working, they're keeping
- 6:56everything working. That's weakness. And they're writing the checks that you insist that.
- 7:01They're underwriting the checks that you insist women should be able to cash.
- 7:06And then of course the feminists are like, you can't, you can't.
- 7:11You can't judge the consequences of women's actions, even if somebody else has to
- 7:15has to deal with them. You can't judge women for their actions. You
- 7:18can't expect women to cover the consequences of those actions. That's men's work.
- 7:24So we're the ones who call all of that crap out unapologetically, and because
- 7:30of that, we are not beloved by the algorithm. So it's up to
- 7:33you to make sure we are able to keep going. Can you do so
- 7:38at feed the Badger dot com slash support And if you want to send us
- 7:41some message through at any point throughout this show, you can do so at
- 7:44feed the Badger dot com slash just the tip. All right, yep,
- 7:50all right, So let us look at the article. So this is recent.
- 7:57We know that that Johnny Depp defamation trial ended a while ago. But
- 8:01the media, well, they can't let go, and they can't let go
- 8:07because they know that what's at stake, at least in my opinion, is
- 8:09not it's not about Johnny Depp. He's just the primary and prominent example.
- 8:16There's something much larger at stake here. But notice throughout before we get into
- 8:22it, I want people to notice how mealy mouthed this article is throughout.
- 8:28Yeah, it doesn't ever make a definitive statement about anything. So essentially they
- 8:33know that there's legal precedent now to establish that he's should not be referred to
- 8:41as an abuser or at least not the exclusive abuser in the relationship, so
- 8:46that they're tiptoeing around all of this. So they know they know that it's
- 8:50factually wrong to refer to him as an abuser, and they know that they
- 8:54open themselves up to legal spanking if they do so. So they're really really
- 9:01careful about what they're saying, but at the same time, they really really
- 9:05want to say it. It's yes, they do. It's it's absolutely despicable.
- 9:13You know, years ago I did a video and you could see it
- 9:16on the main channel Honey Badger radios. Where where are the Nazis? Um,
- 9:22I'm not sure which news outlets I remember the one. It's the story
- 9:28of the There were these like pro like marijuana advocates and they were in this
- 9:33little gazebo and because there was they were like libertarians basically, and because there
- 9:39was I guess rumor or something that those were like Nazis, like a massive,
- 9:45a massive MASSI gathered and surrounded the gazebo, Yeah, where there were
- 9:50like libertarians and pastors from the Church of Weed and a an in Indian American
- 10:00like a subcontinent Indian American senatorial candidate making a speech. Yeah. So it
- 10:05was absolutely absurd what the media created m and that's they are literally created.
- 10:13They are literally creating realities, and they want to be able to do so
- 10:18without any consideration for the truth. They now consider themselves to be basically an
- 10:22arm of a religion, except a religion that has absolutely no track record of
- 10:28being able to maintain a functional society. Yeah, okay, of course,
- 10:35Okay, so we're getting into the article now. This is from Time magazine.
- 10:41What Johnny Depp has become sounds a little ominous, doesn't it? A
- 10:48little ominous? By Stephanie Zacarec, the aging process is kind to no one,
- 10:56and that includes Johnny Depp. On Tuesday, Depth was here in Cannes
- 11:01to walk the red carpet for the festival's opening night film. I'm sorry if
- 11:07I'm pronouncing this wrong. My Wens misunderstood Mistress of Extravaganza Jean Duberry, in
- 11:13which Depth plays King Louis the fifteenth, whose devotion to his favorite extramarital squeeze
- 11:20brought scandal upon Versailles. When it was announced that a Depth film would be
- 11:24opening the festival, murmurs of Sacrebia where heard far beyond the Kingdom, though
- 11:31perhaps not so much in France. The festival itself has opened its arms wide
- 11:35to Depth, who hasn't exactly been untouched by controversy in the past few years.
- 11:39Given his involvement in two high profile defamation suits connected with allegations that he
- 11:46physically abused his former wife and were heard and then in quotes in parentheses,
- 11:50they say, the jury rule that Heard defamed Depth on three counts and awarded
- 11:56him fifteen million dollars in damages. Depth was found guilt of one of three
- 12:01charges in herds counterst wasn't and she was awarded two million in compensatory damages.
- 12:07Okay, go ahead, what was that? Okay, all right, we
- 12:11went through so much bullshit already. First of all, why is it that
- 12:13these articles sound identical or very similar in content to the kind of abusive crap
- 12:22Amber heard? Was ladling on Johnny Depp during the relationship, like the snide
- 12:26little pokes about getting older, Like that's just mean girl crap. Yeah it
- 12:33is. And also like saying, you know, like murmurs of soccer blue
- 12:37were heard far beyond the Kingdom. Yeah, those sacre blue, but not
- 12:41in France. So you saying soccer like stupid writing, stupid writing it is.
- 12:48And then then it tops it all off with no. The damages were
- 12:54ten million to debt Um, including a certain amount of and one million to
- 13:00Amber heard that was what it ultimately came down to. The finding for amber
- 13:05Heard wasn't because of Depth's actions. It was because of the actions of his
- 13:09lawyer who was apparently working who was considered to be working for Depth when he
- 13:18did this, even though I don't think he did under Depth's orders. So
- 13:22that's that's that's neither here nor there. It's not germane. And it also
- 13:26wasn't because because he alleged that she was abusive, which was amply proven.
- 13:35It was because his lawyer alleged that she engaged in a conspiracy in order to
- 13:41prove Depth's abuse, which was not proven. So they said that that conspiracy
- 13:46was considered to be defamatory. Okay, okay, So that's completely different.
- 13:52The fact is that Depth was considered to be factually innocent of what amber Heard
- 14:01was alleging he did. Depp's lawyer was unable to prove that amber Heard engaged
- 14:09in conspiracy in order to falsely accuse Johnny Depp, so that was considered defamation.
- 14:16All right, So there's two very different things. It's a little bit
- 14:18complicated, So I can understand why the media idiots can't understand, Well,
- 14:22it's a little bit complicated. So I understand why the media, which probably
- 14:26isn't very idiotic, is able to get away with simplifying it in such a
- 14:31distorted manner to the idiots who still believe in the media. It's also that
- 14:35they can essentially communicate something more sinister between the lines and have plausible deniability if
- 14:43you call them out on it. So that's the game they're playing. It's
- 14:48always words and the meanings of words, and using language that is more inflammatory
- 14:54or unnecessary, but is manipulative enough to get people to think of things in
- 14:58different way. I mean, why would you why would you point out that
- 15:01only France was willing to open its arms to Depth's appearance when because because when
- 15:09when you say murmurs of soccer Blue were heard far beyond the Kingdom, you're
- 15:13basically saying everybody else hates him, but France for some reason got it in
- 15:18their heads that he's okay and they let him come to their to the little
- 15:20event, right. I mean, there's a lot suggested. They don't say
- 15:26it because they need to be able to say I didn't say that, but
- 15:30I think it's very very implied. And then they also um managed to uh
- 15:37to get in a gibe against king, like, yeah, well, if
- 15:43you've actually read about his life, he's he's he's definitely a good king for
- 15:48depth to portray. Um, it's a good match, to be honest,
- 15:54because he's he's a rock star. No, not the rock star thing,
- 16:00um, which I don't think it's exactly what. It's that kind of weird
- 16:06vulnerability, um, but sort of sinister and dark at the same time.
- 16:11He was a very very interesting guy. Um. It was an interesting dynasty,
- 16:17but well, apparently interesting is the reason why he ended up taking mistresses
- 16:25was because his wife, who apparently he was very enamored of U and begat
- 16:33like ten children on him are on her in ten years, basically said to
- 16:37him, yeah, stop touching me. I'm not the barn door is closed,
- 16:42the revolving door is closed. Because she just got tired of getting pregnant
- 16:48and giving birth over and over and over again, which, um, you
- 16:52know. And then he started taking mistresses because that's what you do when you're
- 16:56the king of France. Um, you know. So it's it's it's not
- 17:02quite as simple as they're making it out to be. And U and one
- 17:08of the reasons why this particular individual, uh yeah, I'm not even gonn
- 17:15attempt to pronounce it, because I can't pronounce French. But this mistress was
- 17:18so controversial was because she came from a more common um stock. So she
- 17:26wasn't like an aristocrat. She was actually from I think the petite bourgeois,
- 17:30like a merchants. Very supposedly very rich, but not not of not a
- 17:37blue blood, shall we say. So it caused a lot of scandal.
- 17:42But this, you know, the king fifth Fifthlui the fifteenth was a bit
- 17:47of a bit crazy, shall we say, not unsympathetic, but it's so
- 17:52crazy, I would go with crazy. Although you apparently really he really like,
- 18:00he really loved his kids and and um you also also his I think
- 18:04it was his first or one of his most important mistresses was the Um Madame
- 18:10Pompadour. Um. There might be a d in there somewhere that I'm missing,
- 18:15um. But when she died, because by the end of the time,
- 18:21by the time that she was getting to the end of her life,
- 18:26um, and he had been with her for decades, UM, they weren't
- 18:30actually having sex. They were just friends basically. And when she died,
- 18:36he he bemoaned, he mourned it and said, well, who is going
- 18:41to tell me the truth now, so you can see the kind of isolation
- 18:45that he sort of existed within. And because Versailles was sort of almost as
- 18:52much of like a little fish bowl than anything. And I mean it was
- 18:56originally built by Louis the fourteenth to keep the nobles close close to him so
- 19:00he could control them and not end up getting killed by them. So it
- 19:04had sort of a fish bowl quality to it. And I don't know if
- 19:07Louis the fourteenth was quite had quite the mental stamina of Louis the fifteenth in
- 19:12order to endure it. And then there's Louie the sixteenth who've had to pay
- 19:15the bill for all of that. And that actually is a really sad story.
- 19:22I don't know if I should get into it, though, all right,
- 19:25shall we begins? Continue keep going. So the allegations and the details
- 19:32of the subsequent messy trials are horrifying enough by themselves. The trollish death fans,
- 19:38oh go ahead, we're gonna say no. Actually, the only thing
- 19:42is horrifying, truly horrifying, is Amber Heard's behavior and the media's behavior.
- 19:48Yeah, basically, the horrifying thing is how quickly people like essentially cited against
- 19:53Johnny Depp and the reaction, and of course even now after every thing else,
- 20:00not one person has gone come public and said I'm gonna eat Crow because
- 20:04I was wrong or I lied or something that. No one has done that.
- 20:11In fact, everybody has doubled down or done something like this, which
- 20:15is a kind of doubling down where you're basically, like, you know,
- 20:18saying, well, it turns out you know this happened, but I think
- 20:23that it's you know, it's still like, I don't like the way the
- 20:26fans, the supporters of Depth acted, so therefore it makes it right that
- 20:30I felt that way. All right. Anyway, the allegations and the details
- 20:37of the subsequent messy trials are horrifying enough by themselves. The trollish Depth fans
- 20:41who took to social media to harass Herd and the women who stood up for
- 20:45her made the situation uglier. You'd have to have been cryogenically frozen through most
- 20:51of twenty twenty two to have missed any of it. Yet, at the
- 20:53festival's opening press conference on Monday, this in is It's seventy six addition,
- 21:00Cann's chief the theory fremou I again sorry for butchering that for any Paris people
- 21:07in the chat defended the festivals, any any cuissants in the chat, I
- 21:14apologize for any scar goes. Um all right anyway, Can's chief Theory Fremo
- 21:23defended the festival's choice to kick off with the film. Well, if there's
- 21:29one person in this world who didn't find the least interest in this very publicized
- 21:33trial, it's me, he said. I don't care what it's about.
- 21:37I also care about Johnny Depp as an actor and quote, yeah, you
- 21:44have any thoughts, I can say that, Um yea for this. Thank
- 21:51god, there's some sense in the world. There's there's but there's a lot
- 21:55of salt in that paragraph. I can there's on my lips. I can
- 21:57taste it. Um yeah. And the funny thing is I was part I
- 22:02watched the trollish depth fans he took to social media. They never you know
- 22:08what they did. They simply just held the line and said, no,
- 22:11she is the abuser. Yeah, of course, I mean that's how how
- 22:15do these people define trollish? Is it like making videos or like putting together
- 22:21a little mean video reality showing Amber saying exactly what she said and not taking
- 22:26out of context, you know, pictures of your dogs being stung by bees
- 22:30or you know whatever, you know. And the other thing is that they
- 22:36don't mention is that this has been done. Like the people, the majority
- 22:41of the people invested in this and who have been defending Johnny Depp or women,
- 22:45yeah, well refused to back down, and they refused to recognize this
- 22:51any of it. It doesn't and and and on their side, horriff like,
- 23:00there is some really nasty abuse that they did. And like I said,
- 23:04I've seen the social so called social media response for the most part,
- 23:10the vast majority of it is just showing Amberhard's own statements and own confessions over
- 23:15and over again and say, no, he is the victim here. He
- 23:21was the victor by her own words. She admitted to victimizing him. So
- 23:26for the most part, what they mean by the trollish debt fans, oh,
- 23:30the horrible, horrible misogyny, is that these people refuse to acknowledge their
- 23:37authority over reality. But the media has no authority over reality. You are
- 23:44not the arbiters of reality, and they are not like the media. Of
- 23:48all of the things that we are dealing with, corporations run amuck, government
- 23:55run amuck, academia run amuck. The media is the least accountable to the
- 24:00people, the least ye because at the very least operations eventually have to make
- 24:06money off of consumers unless they're just getting perpetually bankrolled by Black Rock or the
- 24:11FED. And the government has to at least give a pretense of being under
- 24:17the control of voters. And academia does have to abide by students to some
- 24:22degree, I mean, not too very much. I'm not saying that there's
- 24:26a hell of a lot of oversight. Media is the only one that gets
- 24:30to define reality with no input of the people who exist in that reality.
- 24:37That should terrify people. That's why I put out that video on show Me
- 24:41where the Nazis are in Boston or however I title it. Yeah, that's
- 24:45why I put that out. I'm like, this is terrifying. That was
- 24:48about I think twenty seventeen that I did that. Eighteen. Yeah, this
- 24:56is this is a terrifying turn in which media can actually rewrite reality with no
- 25:03oversight from the people who are in reality. Yeah they don't, Okay,
- 25:08all right, So I got a super chat O Native Retroguez as five fifty
- 25:14Canadian and says no, Alison, you called it right on the media the
- 25:18first time. They are I think it's supposed to say chauvinistic. They are
- 25:22chauvinistic idiots and don't care when it happens to men. Thank you for that
- 25:27chauvinistic spell with Ah. They don't care. They don't care if it happens
- 25:33to women either. They just want to use the term misogyny to silence people.
- 25:37Yeah, that's including women. Yeah, like they did this to women,
- 25:41female survivors of domestic violence who listen to this crap and saw themselves it
- 25:47reflected in what Johnny had to go through, and they silenced them too,
- 25:51because they don't give a fucking flip in anything about any of the groups that
- 25:56they supposedly act at advocate for. All they do. All they care about
- 26:00is those groups give them an off switch and the right to rewrite reality.
- 26:07Kay. And then I got another super chat from land Rea and they give
- 26:14us ten dollars and they don't say anything, They just give us ten dollars.
- 26:15So land I don't know if you meant to attach a message to that.
- 26:19If you did tag at badge of live streams in the live stream chat,
- 26:23and I will read it out, but thank you for the donation regardless,
- 26:29and don't forget to go to feed the Badger dot com slash support or
- 26:33justice hip. Yes it really, I really appreciate it. Yes, he
- 26:37would really do. Okay, okay, uh. Premo's ostrich head in the
- 26:44sand act is disingenuous. How do we know that somebody's making some leaps?
- 26:51But his last two statements and twine opposing ideas that bear thinking about. Is
- 26:56it possible to care about acts depth may have committed to have may have right?
- 27:03No, But that's again we're getting into this mealy mouth like language manipulation
- 27:08territory where it's like, well, we don't have proof, but come on,
- 27:11guys, come on, guys. It's a man, isn't it.
- 27:15He's he's no angel. So anyway, that's what they're gonna do, right.
- 27:22It comes it comes down to if he's not makes no sense to me?
- 27:26What uh yeah, yeah, it comes down to it like it may
- 27:30have committed, he means, so may not have committed, but you're asserting
- 27:33anyway, Yeah, exactly, But this is unbelievable, This unproven probably still
- 27:38happened is what they want to actually actually proven false? But but I still
- 27:44want to assert it anyway may have happened in an alternative reality. Okay,
- 27:49but just read the whole fucking sentence, because imposing ideas that bear thinking about.
- 27:57Is it possible to care about Depth may have committed and to care about
- 28:03what happens to women when they come forward with allegations of domestic violence? Wait?
- 28:08Is it? It's compared to what? How are these two ideas twining
- 28:15together? You are saying they're one idea? Like, how is it possible
- 28:19to care about our acts acts Depth may have committed and care care about what
- 28:23happens to women when they come forward with acts allegations of domestic finals? How
- 28:27are these two opposed concepts? Well, what happens between? Like, like,
- 28:33the fact that we found Johnny Depp not guilty of the stuff that he
- 28:38that Amber heard lied about, is only going to ensure that no women ever
- 28:45come forward, and therefore men should just get thrown in jail, whether they
- 28:51did it or not, because it's the only way we know for sure that
- 28:52more women will come forward, and the only way to be sure. It's
- 28:56the only way to be sure, right, got a knot the site from
- 28:57orbit. It's the only way to be sure. I mean that's what she's
- 29:03saying. She's saying that because herd lied and the justice system finally worked because
- 29:10remember he lost to the sun before, but in this case, the justice
- 29:14system sort of worked out in the way that it should have, at at
- 29:18least in a more favorable way. And her concern is not man, you
- 29:22know, women can sure like do shit like this and destroy men's lives and
- 29:26break up families and ruin children, and they just get they just get off
- 29:30scott free. No, no, no. Her concern is but what about
- 29:33other women that want to lie about men? How can we protect those women?
- 29:38How can we protect other false accusers? Okay, all right, so
- 29:42I may have jumped the gun. I think the second intertwining thought is the
- 29:47next sentence. All right, I'll read it. I'll read it. I'm
- 29:51looking for a contrasting thought because yeah, I don't suspect we're gonna get much.
- 29:55But okay, I'm so I'm getting really really logically in the weeds.
- 29:59Yeah, I don't think this person is being logical. I think they're being
- 30:03emotionally manipulative. And also to care about giant Depp as an actor, as
- 30:07a performer, who at certain points of his career, if No longer was
- 30:11capable of bringing us the kind of joy that we go to the movies for
- 30:15in the first place. So this, okay, I just want to say
- 30:17really quick, because I know you're trumping at the bit, but this is
- 30:21an old tactic that the media has been doing an activist and feminists and academics
- 30:26and everybody else since this whole thing started. You are only defending giant Depp
- 30:33because you like him as an actor and you like his movies. No,
- 30:37that's not why No knew. How About he was being accused of something absolutely
- 30:45heinous, it destroyed his career, and it turns out that it was not
- 30:52true. How about that? How about the men who are going through similar
- 30:56things that see that and they're like, holy shit, that's what I'm going
- 31:00through, except I'm not Johnny Depp. So nobody gives a shit. It's
- 31:04anyway, that's impossible. Impossible, Brian, that impossible. It's it's impossible.
- 31:11Well because that's not their reality, not their reality therefore doesn't exist.
- 31:18But it's exactly right, Okay that this this framework is itself disingenuous, so
- 31:25funny because it's like this person is disingenuous. Now, let us give you
- 31:29an example of how disingenuous we are. This framework is a false dichotomy,
- 31:34like you were saying, Brian, Yeah, it's a dichotomy between UM supporting
- 31:41and they won't even come out with it because they know it's been proven false,
- 31:44as they say cabot acts may have committed, that may have committed in
- 31:48an alternate universe in Minecraft, and to care about what happens to women when
- 31:55they come forward with allegations of domestic violence, and also to care about Johnny
- 32:01Depp as an actor. No, no, no, how about as a
- 32:04human being who experienced violence and then being railroaded by the system for having the
- 32:10audacity to be an abusedment. Yeah, I'm just reiterating what you're saying,
- 32:16Brian. So yeah, it's just it's it's so weak, it's so weak.
- 32:22It's it's so weak. Yeah, it needs to me Like it's almost
- 32:25like if there was nothing but evidence that shows that he did it, there
- 32:30were people, there were people that'd be like, yeah, I mean,
- 32:31you're sure he's a wife beater. But Pirates of the Caribbean, though,
- 32:36is a good movie. Can we just let him go? Like, no,
- 32:38we don't do that. And also, I mean, if we do,
- 32:42it's for women. So you remember the story of that of the girl
- 32:46that was in um in the UK. She was going to a medical school.
- 32:52She like, y, yeah, the judgment, Well, she's got
- 32:55a bright career ahead of her. We don't want to ruin that. I
- 32:58mean, yeah, but you know she has a bright career ahead of her
- 33:05being responsible for vulnerable people that being a murderer has no, no, no
- 33:09bearing on that. Yeah, exactly, God damn, like just oh that's
- 33:14infuriating. But I just wanted to say, all right to this, what
- 33:21did I want to say? Damn it, now I've forgotten. I got
- 33:22so infuriated and sank my head for a moment. It's like you picked up
- 33:27you picked up my brain and shook it like an I'm gonna blame you,
- 33:30Brian, because that's the way it goes. Yeah, It's like, Okay,
- 33:39this is what I was gonna say. Even we don't do that,
- 33:43like men's rights activists don't do that. No. I remember when I was
- 33:46writing something a while back, and I was writing a scene in which one
- 33:51male character calls out another male character for sue doing something awful to a woman,
- 33:55and I was almost I was thinking, well, why should I do
- 33:58that? Should I be defending his big Even then I realized, no,
- 34:01I'm not going to let feminists or any messengersts to claim to give to say
- 34:08that they have the right to adjudicate over genuine incidences of a misogyny and to
- 34:15say that they're the ones who call that shit out. Bullshit. Yeah,
- 34:19nothing about men's issues advocacy is about justifying men being assholes to women. It's
- 34:27about not accepting it when women are assholes to men. It's as simple as
- 34:31that, you're making sure that women are held the same moral standard. All
- 34:38right, Yeah, all right. Though Death still has legions of hardcore fans
- 34:45who will not give up the black pearl for love of money. Quite a
- 34:50few of them showed up in cans on Tuesday Night to cheer him on.
- 34:54Many of us who used to love him can't look at him exactly as we
- 34:58did in the nineteen nineties. The depth of Johnny Brasco of What's Eating,
- 35:05Gilbert Grape of ed Wood and Dead Man. I like how she knows his
- 35:08whole filmography. But we're the super fans that like will let him, you
- 35:13know, just do whatever because pirates or whatever, because because Alice in Wonderland
- 35:21of What's Eating, Gilbert Grape of Edwood and Dead Man was magnificent to behold
- 35:25an actor of micro shaded subtlety and unforced charm. Even his roles in the
- 35:30earlier Tim Burton movies as a somber stammering Ichabod Crane and Sleepy Hollow or a
- 35:34winsome artificial boy in Edward Scissorhands, showed layers of depth within their expressionist stylization.
- 35:40His translucent, silent movie star skin, his eyes capable of shifting emotional
- 35:45colors within the space of a heartbeat. To watch him was to sink into
- 35:49the deepest pleasures an actor can give us. What would you start creating all
- 35:52over the fucking article like that? You know, it's all fine and good,
- 35:58but it has nothing to do with the like yes does it? Nor
- 36:04does it have to do with you know, him being recognized that cans canes
- 36:08how do you pronounced? Um? Okay? This is and also that's not
- 36:15what this is about. Like he's been found innocent. Yeah, basically yes,
- 36:22he's been found I mean not in a court of law or in terms
- 36:25of a criminal case, which ironically what never happened. But in terms of
- 36:32the standard of defamation, yeah, yeah, in a civil defamation case.
- 36:39And the fact is that you're just so sleazy, um, the fact that
- 36:45you have Depth in your spank bank, which is sort of creepy by the
- 36:51way, definitely. Yeah, like the fact that you're you know, when
- 36:55you when you go to town, when you're flicking the bean, you're you're
- 36:59shuffling through your roll, the decks of depth images in your head. Um
- 37:04does not have any bearing on whether or not we should forgive him, because
- 37:07there is nothing to forgive. Mm hmm. Okay, yeah, this is
- 37:14a this is a meaningless paragraph. I mean, it doesn't It doesn't serve
- 37:17anything. Which are you just trying to hit like a word count? Because
- 37:22this is this this is nothing. This is a nothing. This is oh
- 37:24here, here are the movies that he did that I liked. Care I
- 37:29don't care. I mean I like him too as an actor, but that's
- 37:31not what this is about. So then Depth began to hide or allow himself
- 37:37to be hidden in the bedraggled pirate ruffles and rock star eyeliner of the Dismal
- 37:43Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Are they dismal? And the look at me
- 37:46multitone pancake of Tim Burton's exhaustedly eccentric, eccentric characters. His lost boy Naivete
- 37:53began to come off as stick in the Pirates movies, his googly eyed mannerisms
- 37:58drove audiences wild. Why bother with acting when gimmick gree will do the trick?
- 38:02So now she's just criticizing his acting. Now she's just being a mean
- 38:08girl. Yeah crap, what is that? Yeah? And also ages,
- 38:13m my god, how dare he age? Yeah, like the rest of
- 38:19us? Or after becoming a father, how dare he be more interested in
- 38:23characters that he knows his children would enjoy, or children period would enjoy?
- 38:28Considering how he's gone to like, um, cancer wards, kids, cancer
- 38:34wards to entertain them, you know, like, how dare how dare he
- 38:38change? You know? Um? Okay, this is this is again a
- 38:45bit of nothing. It is it's it's just it's just mean girl chatting.
- 38:51Yeah, it's kind of sick, to be honest, Yeah it is.
- 38:53And then she talks about oh oh, all of the social trollish meet death
- 38:58fans, what do you think you were doing? Yeah? Really, what
- 39:01are simultaneously sexualizing this man, how are you and saying get a job right
- 39:07in your time? That's what I want to know. Your your sexual interest
- 39:10in this man has some kind of bearing on this conversation, which it doesn't.
- 39:15Yeah, okay, and then you're you're engaging in lukism and agism.
- 39:22You're you're just mean girling, and then you have the audacity to call out
- 39:27people on Twitter. Okay, you know, it would have been better if
- 39:31the whole conversation had kept to the facts of the matter. But I know
- 39:37that human's got a human so there's gonna be mean girls on both sides.
- 39:42However, the facts remain in the facts, and that should really be the
- 39:45only story that should be that should be the only story. Yep, Okay,
- 39:52So I got another super chat from Albert Data retro gives us five fifty
- 39:55Canadian and says agreed Allison. On December six, media talks about Montreal massacre
- 40:00and men's mental health is never brought up, and that was at the root
- 40:05of Lapine's actions. Of course, it was. Yeah, nobody picks up
- 40:10a gun and kills people because their their privileged in having a great day.
- 40:16Yeah, right, this doesn't happen, okay, and um, there's a
- 40:24lot of things going on behind that that are pretty much hidden. First of
- 40:30all, his um, his cultural ancestry. People don't talk about that.
- 40:37UM. And also, violent people are a tiny minority of everyone, just
- 40:45like Andrea Yate. What was it, Andrea Yates? The woman who killed
- 40:49her kids? Uh? You know, I think so. I'm not sure
- 40:54it's buried in our story list. So okay, Carlamulka, all right,
- 41:00I wouldn't get behind anyone who's like Carla Homolka. We got to look,
- 41:07we gotta make all women take responsibility for the actions of Carla Homolka. Okay,
- 41:13No, that's bullshit. And that isn't an act and an example of
- 41:17toxic masculinity, it's an example of criminal mindset. Yes, all right,
- 41:23well, of course they would say that those are one and the same.
- 41:27Um. And also his victims were not feminists, right, they were masculine
- 41:32women who do things that are not expected. And um. Ever since feminism
- 41:37there are fewer women in engineering. Ever since feminism got in ascendency in academia,
- 41:45there have been fewer women in engineering. Interesting recently, recently, since
- 41:51all this transgender stuff, you know, like this is becoming more more in
- 41:57the public eye. Um, for some reason, there's been an increase in
- 42:01women in STEM. But I'm wondering if that's mostly driven by transgender women.
- 42:07I wouldn't be surprised. But anyway, in the eighties there used to be
- 42:10a lot more female engineers and computer scientists, and then feminism, the feminist
- 42:15nation, attacked, and uh, I guess masculine women ran away from those
- 42:22professions into something else, probably because of the framework of activism, something something
- 42:30less interesting. I'm productive. Well, they think could consider the frame framing.
- 42:36You go into these because you're a victim of them. Yeah, like
- 42:40that, why would you go? Okay? But my ultimate point is that
- 42:45he attacked masculine women, women with masculine interests, and then feminists take that
- 42:52on as their cause. Um, it's not yeah, because you guys hate
- 42:58you hate masculine women, feminist. I know people are like, oh,
- 43:01feminism is about No, it's not about masculinizing women. I don't know any
- 43:06man who spends his entire life whining about how he's a victim like that.
- 43:09That's not a male thing at all, you know, that's I don't know
- 43:15when that became a male thing, nor do I nor do adult men usually
- 43:24do the kinds of nasty things that feminists think men do, you know,
- 43:31and then when they when they act like a man, they do you know
- 43:37what I'm talking about, Yeah, being an asshole to other people, being
- 43:40overly angry, swaggering, that kind of thing usually the kind of stuff that
- 43:45nobody likes in men. And then they're they're suddenly well, you only care
- 43:51about it because I'm a woman doing it. No nobody likes it men.
- 43:53In fact, there if you're if you're an angry man, you get worse
- 43:57treatment than if you're an angry woman. He hit the cots, called on
- 44:00you, you get to go spend time in jail. But anyway, this
- 44:04is a bit of a digression. Let's keep back to the all right,
- 44:06all right, uh so, thanks for the super chat Albert, and let
- 44:10me just don't don't forget the super chows. I don't forget the superchows.
- 44:15We get more of that if you use super chat instead, it's fine,
- 44:19but YouTube will take a good chunk. So if you don't want YouTube to
- 44:22take your money that you want to give to us, send us super Chow
- 44:27through feedabatcher dot com. Forward slash just the tip, all right, So
- 44:30what's up, rumble squad, give us, give us a holler. Okay,
- 44:36we're gonna move on. Um. According to the current rules of how
- 44:40we're supposed to view male artists accused of unspeakable behavior, it should be easier
- 44:45to despise Debt as a human being now that it's become so hard to defend
- 44:50him as an actor. Righteous anger is the easiest. What Yeah, I'll
- 45:00read it again. According to the current rules, which I don't know whose
- 45:05rules those are, but I guess there are rules, and she's decided them.
- 45:07Of how we're supposed to treat or view male artists accused of unspeakable behavior,
- 45:15it should be easier to despise Depth as a human being now that it's
- 45:19become so hard to defend him as an actor. Times was this article written
- 45:24in shit in the looney bin? Yeah? Like who? Who? Who
- 45:30are these imaginary think people that this person has dreamed up? Well? Are
- 45:35they? I think I think that? So they? Okay, so the
- 45:38media and Hollywood and all these other organizations they have they have successfully demonized with
- 45:46insufficient evidence, plenty of male celebrities destroying their careers, destroying their future.
- 45:53Okay, plenty of them as he's I'm sorry doesn't get work anymore. Um.
- 45:59You know, they came after Michael Jackson after his passing. And if
- 46:01you think that Michael Jackson um was treated fairly, I would suggest you go
- 46:07to look up razorfist Michael Jackson. You will find that he has done a
- 46:13lot of homework on this and that this guy was miss he was unfairly characterized,
- 46:17I will say. And he won his case, by the way,
- 46:21and they only came after him after he died because he couldn't defend himself that
- 46:24way, so they can make a quick buck um and so many others like
- 46:29Bill Cosby, etc. Right, And I think that was anybody who's who's
- 46:35freaking out about mentioning Bill Cosby. It looks like the case is falling apart
- 46:37on appeal. Yeah, well the case against Bill Cosby because even if even
- 46:44if, even if it happened, don't use doctor tapes as evidence. Yeah
- 46:49right, Well, See that's my point is this is why they're not reporting
- 46:52on any of this stuff. Like and we we've been we're trying to follow
- 46:55up, but like the media is not going to tell us. Oh,
- 46:59it turns out you know, Bill Cosby's the case against him is falling apart
- 47:01and he might be innocent, No, because that ruins, like so many
- 47:07other more political things that they've been built up. This is it's not just
- 47:10about the Me too movement, but that's a big part of it. But
- 47:14what's what is I think the biggest part of it is the ability to point
- 47:17at a man and if he's high profile, very famous, and everyone knows
- 47:21him, they can use that as an avatar for all men and say this
- 47:24is what men are like. And so Depp got out of that. He
- 47:29managed to avoid that because Amber heard was so bad at lying and the evidence
- 47:34just was not in her favor. And so you know, he's now he's
- 47:38he's in the clear. You know, he's smelling like a rose more or
- 47:43less. And these people are pissed off because it damages the narrative, it
- 47:47damages a wider conversation that they're trying to have, and he was just one
- 47:52of the people they wanted to use. And the fact that he was like
- 47:54this, you know, like kind of like heartthrow figure, like early in
- 48:00his career as opposed to the others, that only makes it more powerful because
- 48:06they can say, look, this is the guy that you, you ladies,
- 48:08thought was so sweet, and he's an abuser, so you know,
- 48:12like that. That's why they're they're they're so stuck on this, that's why
- 48:15they're trying to reframe this as well, you only like him because he's an
- 48:20actor and he did movies you like. No, it's not even about liking
- 48:23him. I don't know him, but I know he's innocent. I know
- 48:27that what you're accusing him of is not true. I know that there's evidence
- 48:30that backs that up. That's the reason why I feel that way. It's
- 48:34got nothing to do with my thoughts on his fucking movies, you know,
- 48:37or or if he was or whatever. So, yeah, he's she's constructing
- 48:43a position for her opposition, which is what they feel like. Media feels
- 48:45like they have the right to do. Yeah, they can't just have their
- 48:47own opinions. They have the right to determine what our opinions are too,
- 48:52Yes, of course, And okay, just keep going on this paragraph.
- 48:57Yeah, okay. Righteous anger is the easiest fix for complex, possibly conflicting
- 49:04feelings. This is gaslighting. Oh you must be really conflicted and confused because
- 49:08you like him, but he's a bad person even defending the artistry of a
- 49:14great or once great filmmaker or actor. It could be Roman Polanski, Woody
- 49:17Allen, or Bernardo BERTOLICI see, they're just throwing in other names that you
- 49:22know they have faced controversy, but they have nothing to do with this case.
- 49:27Right, Who has either committed or been accused of committing a heinous act
- 49:30is enough to get you branded a traitor? Why is it then, when
- 49:35Roman Polanski fled the country, all the women, the female actresses that were
- 49:40winning Oscars were giving him so much praise. Anyway, why did they kiss
- 49:45Harvey Weinstein's ass for like, for their whole career until recently? And of
- 49:51course that's not going to come up, right because he was a monster.
- 49:53But I didn't want to say anything bullshit, Okay, Anyway, who has
- 50:00either committed or been accused of committing a heinous act is enough to get you
- 50:04branded a trader? Yeah, I'm in a world that's increasingly small. Like,
- 50:08here's the thing, this is something that I predicted a while about.
- 50:12They're they're part of the misery machine. They are going to do this until
- 50:17there's just two people left, both of whom are trying to throw each other
- 50:21out of the of the of the smoking creator that they have created through cancel
- 50:24culture. Like you, You exist, Stephanie, and I think it's good
- 50:29with this woman's name is Stephanie. You exist in an increasingly irrelevant and smaller
- 50:36and smaller area. Yeah, you people care about Hollywood because you do good
- 50:40stories, or you did, but you don't anymore because you were glamorous,
- 50:45but you aren't anymore because you were thought provoking, which you don't do anymore.
- 50:51You do nothing. You have absolutely no value proposition whatsoever except currently your
- 50:55contacts and the control over the media. But the more people wake up to
- 51:01the total bullshit machine that you are, the smaller and smaller and smaller your
- 51:06pool is. And then you have also the fact that you're destroying yourself.
- 51:10You're tearing yourself apart like a low key French revolution. You're just finding the
- 51:15next head roll, which is making you, as a group, the media
- 51:22and Hollywood smaller and smaller and smaller and less and less relevant. But so
- 51:27continue to do what you're doing. Yeah, maybe it won't happen in my
- 51:30lifetime, but there will be a point where you have a final squeak,
- 51:35a self righteous rage and then you basically throw yourself out of yourself like the
- 51:42single person that you cancel yourself of self righteous rage cancels herself and the rest
- 51:49of the world won't even hear it. Yep, okay, all right,
- 51:54anyway, essays clear dead error has just written a whole book about how we
- 52:02should feel about what she calls monstrous men. It's not what somebody ask somebody's
- 52:10launching a book. It's a head, and it's a head. How do
- 52:15he solved a problem like Harvey Weinstein? I don't know, Maybe don't fuck
- 52:19him when he offers you a job. I mean, like, you know,
- 52:22they like, I'm sorry, but I can't. I can't jump on
- 52:27that bandwagon. You know. The ladies chose what they chose. They can't
- 52:30they can't like regret it. Now, that's how we ended up with so
- 52:34many other problems. It's basically like making women completely unaccountable for their choices.
- 52:38So, hey, you don't like him, why do you fuck him because
- 52:43you want to be rich and famous? Shut the fuck up and sit down.
- 52:45You're done, Okay, It's it was consensual, you know it.
- 52:50Stop. You haven't been able to prove anything otherwise. So and if you
- 52:53knew for all this time, okay, and you didn't do anything. That's
- 52:58on you. You should have done something thing anyway. Um, but of
- 53:02course, see this, this is what I'm saying. This is what I
- 53:05mean when I say these allegations are not about the individual like for these people,
- 53:12it's not about the guy being accused. It's about creating a um,
- 53:17the the illusion that this is something that all men do. And they have
- 53:22to literally lie about the men that are being accused in order to construct this
- 53:25illusion. So they they're like, because like, you know, this stuff
- 53:30mostly falls apart. How come you know there was like this guy I don't
- 53:34forget his name, but there was this guy. I think he was a
- 53:36wrestler or an Olympic olympian of some type or something, and he, like
- 53:42you know, had a fit of rage and he killed his family and of
- 53:45course he was just not stable. I think it was. They said it
- 53:49was Royd rage. I don't know if that's true. But the point is
- 53:52that guy doesn't get brought up because that's he's not big enough in their mind.
- 53:57He's not famous enough or wasn't. I think he's dead now, Um,
- 54:00you know, in their mind it's got to be these extremely high profile
- 54:06famous people. Bill Cosby was going to he was he was critical of what
- 54:10was happening in the black population. He wanted to change it. He was
- 54:14going to buy a network, he was going to bring back his show or
- 54:16do something like it. And then all of a sudden, these allegations come
- 54:21out and that that's not gonna happen. That's dead, that's gone. Because
- 54:24he wanted to do something about like the problem of fatherlessness, and he wanted
- 54:29to address it in the way that he knows how through entertainment. They just
- 54:35Harvey Weinstein is an avatar. It's not about him. It's like in every
- 54:38one of these cases, it's about taking someone, a man that's high profile,
- 54:44and then making him into a monster and then saying showing that to the
- 54:47world and saying, this is what men are like. That's what it's about.
- 54:52Yeah, just yeah, And you know what the dynamic that it feeds
- 54:58into is this whole idea of the one good man. When they do that,
- 55:01every time they present this image and they say this is what men are
- 55:06like, there are rich men who just run to give them money because they
- 55:13want to prove to the world that they are the one good man who isn't
- 55:17like that, and that this is what they're used to ye, and I
- 55:21you know, I don't even want to get into Harry Weinstein. I don't
- 55:23even know why these people are being mentioned in the same context, same thing.
- 55:30That's why, Yeah, I know, that's what I let me.
- 55:34Let me put this out. I don't want to defend Weinstein, Okay,
- 55:38I'm not going to defend him here in this context. You know, it
- 55:43looks like his his particular case maybe falling apart. Two. I don't want
- 55:49to defend these guys in this context. And it's not it's not saying that
- 55:52I wouldn't defend it with more information or any other situation. But this is
- 55:57wrong to do. On another level, you are taking a man who is
- 56:01provably an abuse victim, and you are lumping him in with men who are
- 56:07alleged to have engaged in abuse just because they these two groups are alleged to
- 56:13have engaged in abuse by some woman like this guy not only hasn't abused anyone,
- 56:23he was the abuse victim. Yeah, okay, yeah like that.
- 56:28That's that's a whole nother level of total the fucked up. Yeah right,
- 56:32absolutely, And I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna say this, Yes, Bill
- 56:37Cosby maybe railroaded. Harry Weinstein looks like some there's new things coming out all
- 56:43these other people. I don't know if I'm going to defend Roman Plansky at
- 56:45all, but no, I'm I don't know, but I don't really.
- 56:50Yeah, but what I'm saying is that these names have no bearing whatsoever to
- 56:58what's happening with Johnny Depp and why people are defending him. So the fact
- 57:04is that she's just creating a cloud of stink and trying to apply it to
- 57:07him, all right, And I don't even think we need to go into
- 57:10whether or not these these other guys should be defended. They shouldn't be in
- 57:15this article in the first place. Yeah, sure, okay, because all
- 57:20she's doing is smearing Johnny, mentioning them. Yeah, it's it's it's it's
- 57:24she's trying to She's trying to uh, guilt by association all of these people,
- 57:31which you know, they their their individuals. Some of them are probably
- 57:35guilty, some of them may not be. I don't know. But the
- 57:37point is she doesn't care about that. She cares about making it look the
- 57:42only thing that unites them, is that they were falsely or they were accused
- 57:45of something. Yeah, she's not writing about um, you know, uh
- 57:52Asia Argento who was like banging some underage kid, some boy, She's not
- 57:58writing about that, you know. So it's it's because they're men, and
- 58:01because they're famous and high profile, and there's an opportunity, you know.
- 58:06Okay, let's let's do the next All right, let's I got another super
- 58:09chat from I got two Actually, Albernada gives us five fifty again. Canadian
- 58:15says, for the record, I'm not a fan of most of Johnny Depp's
- 58:19films and the comments he directed at Prez forty five. We're discussing. It's
- 58:22a matter of right is right? Yes, Well that's just it. I
- 58:25mean, that's what we're saying, Like none of that other stuff matters,
- 58:29Like, Okay, is he is he guilty or not? Then why are
- 58:30you acting like he is? That's and that's the important thing. Right.
- 58:35Then he gives another five fifty and says, Chris ben Wah is the wrestler
- 58:38you're thinking about or talking about. He killed his wife, his son,
- 58:40and himself. He had all kinds of brain damage and mental health problems.
- 58:45Yeah, so Um, yeah, that's what I remembered when I saw it.
- 58:50It's Chris ben Wah who is who I was talking about. Again,
- 58:52you know, we don't really know the details about that, but it's it's
- 58:58I think there's a reason why she didn't use that because it wasn't high profile
- 59:01enough. It was not it's it's out of fashion, right, it was
- 59:05too long ago or something so well. Literally I found the revelation behind all
- 59:10of this why they do all of this. It was from the national I
- 59:15think Alliance against Domestic Violence, no Association against Domestic Violence, and the individual
- 59:23who is who is the chairman or chairwoman of that association essentially said that the
- 59:29Johnny Depp affair was no good for them because it didn't it didn't get the
- 59:32money spinning. Yep. Then that's what it's about at the end of the
- 59:37day, that's what it's about. It's not about helping women. It's about
- 59:40using their issues to make money period. Yep. Okay, next, and
- 59:49you know that is different than advocacy for for women's issues. I mean,
- 59:52you could be an advocate, but not with those kinds of financials and not
- 1:00:00you can't Okay, you can't be an advocate for women's issues. If you
- 1:00:02are ignoring half of the data, I'm just gonna put it right out.
- 1:00:06Yeah, you can't. If you ignore, If you ignore solutions informed by
- 1:00:09actual science in favor of advertising copy informed by money, then you are not
- 1:00:20for women, period. Okay, exactly, all right. Um, it's
- 1:00:27normal to feel troubled or conflicted about artists we love or once loved. But
- 1:00:30we've somehow been conditioned to believe that even conflicted feelings are bad. God forbid.
- 1:00:36We hold two or more ideas in our heads at once. Are you
- 1:00:39confessing that you don't like it? In your smoking crater? Will enjoy it
- 1:00:44until you until you learn to stand up to the mean girls and just speak
- 1:00:47your truth, you're going to live in the smoking crater has left the building.
- 1:00:53Yeah, reality has left the building, you know. And to be
- 1:00:57honest, there's there's a there's a song that someone gave to me in a
- 1:01:05video. It was called, Um, Lady Hell, what it's like in
- 1:01:10Lady Hell? This? This woman is in lady Hell? Yeah, you
- 1:01:16know there are no men in lady Hell because they don't want you don't get
- 1:01:22any relief from hell. I was astounded, how honest this this, this
- 1:01:30lyricist was in Lady Hell. Um. You you want to be seen,
- 1:01:36but you're never seen. You want to be talked about, but nobody's talking
- 1:01:38about you. You want to be the center of attention, but nobody cares.
- 1:01:43Everybody else is just thinking about who they are and what they're doing,
- 1:01:46you know. And and I'm like, yeah, man, this is on
- 1:01:50the dot. You are in Lady Hell. Stephanie, you are in Lady
- 1:01:53Hell. Welcome to the desert of the feminine. Yeah, exactly. Um,
- 1:02:05all right, moving on. I no longer have much invested in who
- 1:02:09the actor Johnny Depp is today, and I have serious doubts about what he
- 1:02:14must be like as a human being. But watching him both in Jehan Duberrrie
- 1:02:20and on the Red Carpet, and reading the reports coming through this morning about
- 1:02:23how moved he was to have received such a warm welcome in Cans only made
- 1:02:29me miserable. Oh well, so a Cope and Seed, Lady Cope and
- 1:02:35Steve. Yeah, but what why would that make you miserable? Like,
- 1:02:40because he's not suffering anymore else and he needs to be abused more by his
- 1:02:45fans and by everybody. Basically, she's convinced. And this is the thing
- 1:02:52that they that they always do too, that even though he won on the
- 1:02:58basis of a lack of evidence Unheard's part and an overwhelming amount of evidence on
- 1:03:04Jadepp's part, that he somehow us his male privilege to abuse herd and get
- 1:03:09away with it and come out smelling like a rose. This is what's so
- 1:03:15assounding, and that this is what's so astounding about this system. That's exactly
- 1:03:19what's going to happen folks in this system, and this system as it's currently
- 1:03:22arranged, if an abused man actually sees justice fifty like the media and academia
- 1:03:31and the government will see that as an abuser getting away with hit and then
- 1:03:37use it as evidence why we should fill the loopholes, like somehow Johnny Depp
- 1:03:44has done something against the rules by being a male abuse victim who actually got
- 1:03:50saw justice done that somehow that's that's against the rules. Those rules only work
- 1:03:55for women, not against them. Even despite the fact that the woman is
- 1:04:00the abuser. Yep. And it's not that I don't think she. I
- 1:04:08really think that this mentality is simply the mentality of something someone who sees so
- 1:04:13deeply invested in the idea that society exists for her benefit, that when something
- 1:04:20like this happens to a woman, all she can see is how Amber Heard
- 1:04:26is a victim of society failing to protect her. And they literally can't see
- 1:04:33that. No, actually, Amber Heard didn't deserve to win, because in
- 1:04:38their mind it doesn't matter. Amber Heard could have beaten Johnny Depp unconscious every
- 1:04:44day of their relationship, and this woman would still say one moment where Johnny
- 1:04:49was like, please stop hitting me with his fist, bitch, that would
- 1:04:53mean that Johnny is the abuser. Well, and even if and if she
- 1:05:00never did anything except receive her fist, she would consider that to be a
- 1:05:06net neutral and potentially, Johnny Depp, why were you making her so angry?
- 1:05:12You know that you exist, You exist as a man and as a
- 1:05:16society to make sure that women feel good about themselves. Why are you a
- 1:05:23failure? Why are you an abuser? That that's the attitude, the level
- 1:05:29of entitlement. Like they live in entitlement, yep, and they want to
- 1:05:36see it. They want to see a world in which even a provable female
- 1:05:42abuser can still be treated as an abuse victim on her word alone. Yeah,
- 1:05:49and that's not a world that is sustainable in any sense of the word.
- 1:05:56It is a world at war with itself. Good lord, anyway,
- 1:06:01welcome to Lady Hill. Yeah, yep, that's right. Let's finish this.
- 1:06:08Okay, let's see but what okay? Jean Duberry is gleamingly tastefully handsome,
- 1:06:16as well as sometimes thunderously dumb, but it's not unwatchable. My Wayne
- 1:06:23herself plays the Countess Duberry, though in only a few scenes does she wear
- 1:06:28the typical eighteenth century beehive of powdered hair. Mostly her locks flow anachronistically wild
- 1:06:32and free, like Stephanie Seymour in the nineties. Why are you telling me
- 1:06:38this? What does this have to do with anything? She plays Jean as
- 1:06:41the fun gal of Hersailles, wearing big clown stripes, donny breeches and ruffles
- 1:06:45and tromping around on horseback kissing the King behind a napkin at formal dinners.
- 1:06:49And she owns a black child given to her by her paramour, the King.
- 1:06:54But don't hold that against her. She's really nice to him. Right.
- 1:07:00Why do you put owns and quotes there? Um? I mean yeah,
- 1:07:04when you put owns and quotes that means you mean these that that's not
- 1:07:09true, right when well, yeah, that means that you're implying that it
- 1:07:13isn't the case. Um like when when Angelia Jolie like African kids because she
- 1:07:20can't have kids of her own or doesn't want to, does she own them
- 1:07:25as well? Is there something wrong with that? Or I don't see what
- 1:07:29you know, let's not even dive into that. Yeah, I know,
- 1:07:30I know, I know. It's just it's just there's a lot of like
- 1:07:33these little things that are that are thrown in that are supposed to suggest something.
- 1:07:38So as the ruler who ostensibly adores her Depth in some scenes, his
- 1:07:42cheeks and lips monstrously rouged, almost in a garish Edward scissor hands approximation,
- 1:07:48merely looks like a guy who has no idea how he landed in Versailles.
- 1:07:53His lines delivered in French have a waxy stiffness. His eyes look beaty and
- 1:07:58glazed, as if all his eye lashes have been burned off. This is
- 1:08:01Depth's most high profile film in years, but it's less a comeback than a
- 1:08:05tepid lurching into a very small spotlight. I gotta watch this. I gotta
- 1:08:12watch this. Also, do you know anything about Louie the fifteenth? Sounds
- 1:08:15like gap got it on the nose? Yeah, right, Like the guy
- 1:08:20was not well and he was pretty crazy, and he he was he had
- 1:08:29his issues. It's not a job to do though a job. Sometimes he
- 1:08:35just sort of descended into madness and was just like, I'm I'm you know
- 1:08:40this. Okay, this doesn't sound like it's inconsistent with Louie the fifteenth.
- 1:08:45All right, I'll just leave it at that. Yeah, the photos and
- 1:08:49footage of Dap on the red carpet don't make the story any happier. He
- 1:08:54looked to be pleased by the attention, but there was also something tentative about
- 1:08:58him, as if he'd lost his grip on this particular reality, the false
- 1:09:01reality of a crowd's adoration at a place like hands, and was very slowly
- 1:09:06getting it back. You know what, this is a really creepy paragraph because
- 1:09:10it's like you're seeing an X ray into a predator's skull and how they actually
- 1:09:15think. Because you know that sociopaths can pick up on people who are abused
- 1:09:20and how they move, which is why a lot of times people who are
- 1:09:25abused keep ending up in relationships with toxic people. It's because they give off
- 1:09:30or the sociopath picks up on certain qualities. Right, this woman sounds like
- 1:09:39a sociopath, and this is a sociopath's opinion of someone who's abused. Yeah,
- 1:09:45like she thinks that he's up to something, or she thinks that there's
- 1:09:53something wrong with him. No, he has endured social ostracization and condemnation and
- 1:10:03judgment for six years based on being a victim of someone else's abuse and then
- 1:10:11a victim of their false accusations. Of course, he's acting tentative in the
- 1:10:16face of people's support of him because at some level he's expecting, not support,
- 1:10:26He's expecting your predatory bullshit, Stephanie. And it's like, it's unbelievable.
- 1:10:32She can't even see that. It's like listening to the thoughts of a
- 1:10:36reptile clicking what did human doing? You know? Yeah, I just thought
- 1:10:48she was mind reading, Like, oh, you know, because it is
- 1:10:51love mind reading. Yeah, but this is not. She's looking at his
- 1:10:56behavior and maybe predators, like human predators, when they look at people who
- 1:11:01have been abused, this is what they think. They're like, there's something
- 1:11:05off about them. I gotta go over and start being mean them, you
- 1:11:12know. And so we're just seeing a little little X ray into a psycho's
- 1:11:16head right there. Yeah, this is some you know, American psycho shit
- 1:11:23right there. Thank you, Stephanie. It's not something I really wanted today,
- 1:11:27but there we are. At least I've learned something. But that's that's
- 1:11:31what I'm getting from this paragraph because she can't. It's pretty gross. Yeah,
- 1:11:39it's gross, like you don't see. Of course, he's going to
- 1:11:43be tentative. He's been abused for the last six years by crowds and media,
- 1:11:48and suddenly he's having people embrace him and support him. It can feel
- 1:11:57like a false reality when you're a victim to be supported. Hm, And
- 1:12:04she's making it out into something that's punishable instead. Yep, okay, final
- 1:12:13paragraph? Is this the final paragraph? Oh yeah? Reclaiming that false reality
- 1:12:17is likely to do Depth more harm than good. A twenty eighteen Rolling Stone
- 1:12:21profile by Stephen Roderick, written in the aftermath of the Depth Herd breakup,
- 1:12:27show the actor spending much of his time locked away in a mansion fortress,
- 1:12:30guzzling expensive wine. Reportedly more than thirty thousand dollars worth each month and nursing
- 1:12:35the depths of his melancholy. Depth is an adult. He's about to turn
- 1:12:41sixty. He has made his own decisions and created his own problems. But
- 1:12:45I don't think anyone who truly cares about acting an actor should feel happy about
- 1:12:48what he's become. To see him looking, well, we'll find out what
- 1:12:54she's going to say. To see him looking as if all the life has
- 1:12:57been sucked out of him, not to mention there being jowishness, the deepening
- 1:13:01frown lines and other physical indignities that come with getting older, is akin to
- 1:13:06watching a bird fall from the sky, though birds, unlike men, don't
- 1:13:12bring about their own downfall. Oh, because men they do that. See
- 1:13:15what I mean by this being about men? White More broadly, Depth is
- 1:13:18a nest of tragedies, an extraordinarily gifted man who has most likely hurt others
- 1:13:25as well as himself most likely most We can replace all that with not.
- 1:13:30Yeah, like all of your mealy mouthed oh, I don't want to run
- 1:13:34a foul of actual reality bullshit. You know, we can just replace with
- 1:13:41no and not and didn't happen. It's easy, Just tell the truth as
- 1:13:47you know it. He's his own worst enemy. And no matter how loudly
- 1:13:50the crowd cheers for you, there's no glamor or valor in that Time magazine
- 1:14:00pays this. Unbelievable, unbelievable. Yeah, this person was paid. Yes,
- 1:14:05this person was paid by Time magazine. I mean I think I used
- 1:14:11to buy Time Magazine. I used to think that it was credible. There's
- 1:14:16no glamor of valor in that. Yeah, I'm fucking believable. Yeah,
- 1:14:23they're still they're basically just claiming that he probably did it, even though you
- 1:14:28know, we we we had the hearings, we saw the evidence, everything
- 1:14:30was put out there, he was found not guilty, the whole fucking thing.
- 1:14:35And they're still like, now, he probably did it, though,
- 1:14:39well it's a convenient to us, so he must have done it. Yeah
- 1:14:43yeah, I mean I was struggling time, so why how how could that
- 1:14:46change? I've made it up in my head. And also the thing is
- 1:14:50that he caused his own downfall. Really no, that's not what they court
- 1:15:00case found. Amber caused his downfall falsely. M So I wonder if this
- 1:15:09was put through a lawyer's estimation, because this seems like it's really getting close
- 1:15:13to bullshit. Um, I'm saying that there could be a defamation suit.
- 1:15:18No, I think they're being very careful here. Oh yeah, that's my
- 1:15:24lawyers look into it. If I was Depth though, for sure, But
- 1:15:30oh no, no, because they don't don't explicitly say that it's Debt who
- 1:15:34brought down his own downfall. They don't dare really Okay, So amber Heard
- 1:15:40lied, it was proven that she lied publicly. A whole bunch of people
- 1:15:45now know that she lied and that she was the abuser. But Depth was
- 1:15:48responsible for his own downfall somehow, I guess by choosing Amber Heard and now
- 1:15:56that there are people in the world that are supporting Depth publicly. Uh,
- 1:16:01there's no glamor of valor in it for Depth because he has to exist within
- 1:16:09a world of self recrimination about whatever it is he did wrong. Yep,
- 1:16:23what No, I just okay, well, this is it, this is
- 1:16:33this is just like this is lady hell um you know what, Stephanie.
- 1:16:40I think that Depth is going to continue to be cheered. There will probably
- 1:16:44be more people who start moving on to his side. Maybe not in Hollywood,
- 1:16:50but I imagine way with the tradectary tradectory of everything going. I imagine
- 1:16:58that Hollywood will disappear before the crowds cheering on depth do absolutely. Now that
- 1:17:05may be a bit optimistic, like it's entirely possible that he dies in these
- 1:17:10media people. Actually, well they take no responsibility for having hounded him.
- 1:17:15Um, and they continue to do this, and maybe that'll be true.
- 1:17:18They will continue to do this, but nobody will be listening. You know,
- 1:17:23black Rock will be keep paying them in um in uh mickey mouse dollars,
- 1:17:31but nobody will be listening. M you know, and uh, I
- 1:17:38don't see any Oh oh Dogo is making commentary, so I need to deal
- 1:17:43with that. UM be right back. Or uh, well we could wrap
- 1:17:48it up because like we've done, all of the articles finished, the super
- 1:17:55chats are finished. UM maybe you can do thank you that they're already uh,
- 1:18:00and we can close it out. Let me look at us, rumble,
- 1:18:06what's up? Rumble? Uh want to mention, by the way,
- 1:18:10you guys might might not know this. I'm sure everybody does, but Tina
- 1:18:14Turner passed away today. So wow, yeah she was like uh it was
- 1:18:20like in her I want to say she was eighty three. Okay, So
- 1:18:28I mean she did because she did good. She was you know, that
- 1:18:30was a that was a soldier, right there, Tina Turner. She was
- 1:18:32a soldier. Um so yeah, a raggedy man. Um so r I
- 1:18:43P Tina Turner, f's in the chat whatever, rest in peace and uh,
- 1:18:48you know, my love to the my love to her family and loved
- 1:18:53ones. So we we supported Johnny Depp way back in like twenty sixteen,
- 1:18:58right when the issual yell things came out. Yes, yes, we were
- 1:19:03like, well I heard we need to see the evidence and there wasn't much.
- 1:19:08And we listened to it. Well I listened to at that time.
- 1:19:11I listened to the tapes and I'm like, oh, that one guy.
- 1:19:15Yeah, okay, sorry, I'm just all right. So the dogo is
- 1:19:20now settled down. Yeah, he's with his cat pal um. Yeah.
- 1:19:26We were defending him then because the evidence pointed to him his innocence, and
- 1:19:30in fact, the evidence pointed very strongly to her being the abuser. And
- 1:19:33I watched this and I'm like, oh my good lord. Um. But
- 1:19:40the reason why we see this stuff coming is because we look at the situation
- 1:19:45for men. It's not like a it's not a crystal ball. Well,
- 1:19:49I guess it is to a lot of people, because there are steeped in
- 1:19:53this idea that men's existence is to supply women and society with things, so
- 1:20:00they don't conceive of the fact that maybe men shouldn't be considered infinitely strong,
- 1:20:03and we should look at how they're failing to understand how society might end up
- 1:20:09failing in the future. But anyway, if you are interested in making sure
