- 0:23uh that was just you know out of passion And Hannah and I sat and we started,
- 0:28you know, the show and over the year
- 0:30we've done really good and we really appreciate you guys, the audience.
- 0:35It's amazing to have so many great people tuning in, listening to us,
- 0:39all of the support and just all the kind words.
- 0:43We love it so much. And now here we are in September and we've reached 2,000
- 0:49downloads and we hit our one-year anniversary and I wanted so much more for
- 0:57this podcast and I'm trying to give so much more.
- 1:00And I came up with so many great ideas and I'm so happy to bring this show with
- 1:06all the new stuff here for super September.
- 1:09We're going to go over it and we're going to talk about it. And we're going
- 1:12to talk about so much other stuff because believe me in these past few weeks,
- 1:16um, there's been so much going on and so much on my mind, so much I want to
- 1:21talk about. And that's why I'm so happy to have a podcast.
- 1:23And I'm so happy to have listeners like you guys.
- 1:26Now this is not only super September, but this is another one of those historic
- 1:30episodes where unfortunately Hannah is not with me.
- 1:33As you know, when podcasting world, this is all pre-recorded.
- 1:36So this is actually being recorded at the end of August and Hannah's away on vacation.
- 1:42So the great news is I have our co-host Brittany stepping in,
- 1:48stepping up, and we appreciate that so much. Brittany, how are you doing?
- 1:53I'm good. How are you today? Hey, I am doing good. I'm exhausted.
- 1:58I got so much on my mind. There's been so much going on. And I know you're gonna
- 2:02pull it all out of me. But first.
- 2:05For September, Super September, the really cool thing is Eye Opener Society
- 2:09has picked up another sponsor.
- 2:12And what's really cool about this is the same like when we did Reaper Apparel,
- 2:18we still support reaperapparel.com, but now we got a new one.
- 2:23Okay. And this one's pretty exciting and I'm going to try my best to do a live
- 2:28spot for them because it's something different and it's something unique.
- 2:31And I thought it would be really good.
- 2:33Again, you could go to a website, site, buy the product, and then put in one of our codes.
- 2:38And this time you get 20% off your entire order.
- 2:42And the product is Good Feels.
- 2:45That's Good Feels. All right. And if you go to shop.goodfeels.com,
- 2:50you'll see what they're about.
- 2:52Most of you know about these here, alcoholic seltzers that are out there.
- 2:56They have the different flavors and their alcohol, but so many people don't
- 3:00want that hangover. They don't want the alcohol. Some people are trying to quit alcohol.
- 3:05But how do you sit, drink, and relax? Well, Good Feels has a solution.
- 3:11These are seltzers, and they are infused with THC.
- 3:17Welcome to cannabis, folks. I'm telling you, I was so excited about this product. I'm so amazed by it.
- 3:23And I think you guys got to try it out. So at at least go
- 3:25to the website shop.goodfeels.com and
- 3:29they have a few flavors out they got blood orange pineapple
- 3:33mango grapefruit and then they have the mix pack and then if you have a drink
- 3:39on your own they actually have the flavorless enhancers so you can actually
- 3:43take whatever drink you have even if you got plain salsa and you put this stuff
- 3:48in there and it's infused now with thc This is a great way to relax.
- 3:53It's got to be much healthier than alcohol, which tears you up and then you
- 3:57don't get the hangover after it. This is amazing stuff.
- 4:00I want you all to check out Goodfeels, shop.goodfeels.com.
- 4:05And they're even on Facebook, facebook.com and drink Goodfeels.
- 4:10So facebook.com, drink Goodfeels.
- 4:13And this here company started in 2019.
- 4:16And I think the owner started because he was loaded with aches and pains.
- 4:20It's kind of like me. I'm getting old and you get all these aches and pains. I think some.
- 4:25Thc infused seltzers would help out with
- 4:28that so everybody once again shop.goodfeels.com and
- 4:31here's the thing when you go there you'll get 20 off if
- 4:35you use the code e o s discount
- 4:39eos discount put that in there get 20 off
- 4:42your order and that's from us at eyeopener society
- 4:45so that's part of super september right there we
- 4:48actually got this new sponsor so i'm happy for that and talking
- 4:52to soup talking about super september uh i'm hoping
- 4:55everybody heard yesterday we released elaine's arcane
- 4:59oracle podcast and it is so amazing if you have not heard it and i hope everybody
- 5:05did just tune in play that episode it is just flat out amazing for someone who
- 5:12has never done a podcast she done so good the whole month of september is all
- 5:17set up for you no matter what What your horoscope sign is,
- 5:20she has guidance for you based on the tarot cards.
- 5:25And if you go to Eye Opener Society on Facebook, I put up all the cards that
- 5:30she pulled so you could actually see the cards for your birth signs.
- 5:35And again, Elaine is going to be with us on the first of every month again with
- 5:39an episode. That's first and foremost.
- 5:42I can't thank her enough. And don't forget to visit her website,
- 5:46elainesarcanetarot.com.
- 5:49All the links are going to be in this here show.
- 5:51We also have Sunset Child coming up at some point. I'm waiting for the audio
- 5:55on this one. It's going to be out there.
- 5:58Sunset Child's Out There podcast. If you're into all the UFOs,
- 6:02reptilians, flat earth, all
- 6:06these conspiracies and all, this girl's got pictures and amazing things.
- 6:11And I'm going to have to set up something again on Facebook to get her photographs out there and all.
- 6:16Sunset Child likes to remain in the background. She don't want to use a real name or anything.
- 6:21And I appreciate that so much. But she's so full of knowledge.
- 6:25And I can't wait for this episode. And we're going to get it sometime this month in September.
- 6:29And then again on Halloween, we're going to have Ann Lund with her Haunted and Waiting blog podcast.
- 6:35Man, we are so set up.
- 6:38And then this brings me to Brittany. The whole reason why this came is because
- 6:43a while back, you know, Hannah and I spoke to you about doing your own podcast.
- 6:47And I know time's changing. And this is what we're going to get into tonight
- 6:50is, you know, all these things.
- 6:53Life basically gets in the way. And that's what Hannah and I show is about.
- 6:57And that's not changing.
- 6:58Eye Opener Society is going to stay the same. Every Monday, we're going to have
- 7:01our shows out, give you our podcast.
- 7:04That's not going to change. There's going to be a lot more positivity in our shows.
- 7:08Um you know just because you know we don't want to
- 7:10bring everything down because life does that anyway we're
- 7:13going to try and find ways to pick you up talking and you
- 7:17know just speaking about things sometimes help maybe it helps you and that's
- 7:20what we're hoping for and that's what we're hoping for with you there britney
- 7:23you know we wanted you to have a podcast and i know life is getting away is
- 7:26it not oh yes life has uh kind of rocked me this i was just thinking thinking,
- 7:34August is all but over.
- 7:37I honestly don't even know where it went at this point because it's been one
- 7:44of those times where it's like you blink and it's gone.
- 7:48Life has been keeping me on my toes these past few weeks. And, uh.
- 7:54It's interesting you brought up the tarot cards because I was just sitting here
- 7:59thinking like that would be something that I should do very soon just to kind
- 8:05of see what direction I'm going in.
- 8:07Because right now I feel like I'm going in 50 different directions and,
- 8:11you know, the rug, I'm still staying really positive, but I almost feel like
- 8:16the rug was pulled out from underneath me.
- 8:19And now I'm just trying to stand back up and figure out, all right, which way do I go?
- 8:23Um but i guess that's
- 8:27one really good thing is even with everything that's been
- 8:29going on i've been semi-positive with everything
- 8:33um happening it's it's just august was a whirlwind of a month um i ended july
- 8:44so excited kind of on a high and thinking about like you know the podcast cast and everything.
- 8:50And then it was like a couple of days into August, everything just got turned upside down.
- 8:56So it wasn't about having like a pity party either.
- 9:00It was like, how am I going to get through all of this?
- 9:04And I was just sitting here thinking, I see you almost every single day,
- 9:09but I really haven't even had the opportunity to like stop and talk to you recently
- 9:15because I've I've just been kind of my own little world living life.
- 9:22So how have you been?
- 9:25How was the past few weeks for you? How have you been feeling?
- 9:30I mean, I know, and I'm very sorry, you just had the loss of a loved one.
- 9:36So, you know, still sending very positive vibes to you and your family.
- 9:42But how have you been? How have you been feeling?
- 9:46Well, I have definitely been a mess. It's been a struggle.
- 9:51For those of you that have been following us on Facebook, you know a little bit about it.
- 9:56But as of the end of August here and going back over the past week,
- 10:02it really wasn't a loss of my family.
- 10:05But my beautiful wife, she lost her sister.
- 10:08And that really, I think, shook up the entire family.
- 10:14Family and i'm telling you it it's difficult because i know i don't really mention
- 10:20my wife too much because again she's a very private person but she is a true
- 10:24empath and she feels everything,
- 10:27she's very very in tune with the world which is never good when you're an empath
- 10:32because you get all those negative feelings and all but to lose her sister who
- 10:37is so young um it really shook her up. But I'm extremely proud of her.
- 10:43She's really handling it very well.
- 10:46But to feel those emotions and to be involved with that and all the tears and
- 10:50the support that I want to give her, that's been a struggle.
- 10:54It really has been. And Hannah too, at the same time, because this happened
- 10:57just before she was going on vacation.
- 10:59And then we had all the family staying here in the house and it was really,
- 11:03everything turned kind of upside down.
- 11:06And me, I'm kind of a private person myself i like to pull back and pull away
- 11:10because i don't want to get tied up in the emotions.
- 11:12Because i want to stay strong and so once everybody
- 11:15left the house and was uh and hannah and her husband are away on vacation and
- 11:21it's just my wife and i spending time together in the quiet house i'm taking
- 11:28those deep breaths now because yeah it was very hard emotionally it was just
- 11:32i I first time I say, I want to go to work,
- 11:35you know, which you'll never hear from my mouth ever,
- 11:39but I wanted to, because I had to get away.
- 11:41I had to escape the emotion and like anything, weddings and funerals,
- 11:46This always brings family drama and everything else into the mix.
- 11:49And there was a lot of, you know, stuff, drama that was involved in this too.
- 11:55And I'm doing well because I had to sit here and Hannah and I had the conversation
- 11:59about doing this podcast.
- 12:01And the last time we sat to do this show tonight that you and I are doing,
- 12:05we tried to, and I wasn't in the right frame of mind just because I was tired
- 12:10and exhausted from work.
- 12:11And then we were outgrowing our studio. or a new microphone just picking up
- 12:15every single sound and it was driving me crazy, so we canceled it.
- 12:18And we said, well, we'll just pick it up again.
- 12:19And we never could because then, you know, this loss happened.
- 12:24So then Hannah went on vacation and I was thinking, hey, maybe I shouldn't have, you know, a new show.
- 12:32But I had all these thoughts and all these ideas for Super September and I said,
- 12:35I have to bring it on because this is my passion. This is my relief.
- 12:39This is what I like to do. too. And even sitting here right now,
- 12:43I'm in a different frame of mind. I feel much better.
- 12:45And you know, I'm ready to answer any question. I'm ready to talk about anything
- 12:49again, because this is our show and it means a lot.
- 12:53And you're a part of it, too, as well. And I appreciate that.
- 12:57And I appreciate you being here, stepping up and filling in for Hannah's shoes.
- 13:01And Hannah will be back for the next episode.
- 13:04But yeah, I mean, there's a lot going on. And like I guess it has a lot I want
- 13:08to talk about. I want to try and squeeze it in as much as I can on this year episode.
- 13:12And we're going to spread it out for the rest of this month.
- 13:14A lot of things I want to talk about as far as positivity and trying to keep your head up.
- 13:19Because like you said, we don't really talk that much. And it's a shame.
- 13:24We're in the same, you know, office space basically.
- 13:28And we don't get that chance to sit and become friends.
- 13:33We lose that opportunity, especially with everything you've got going on in your life.
- 13:37It's difficult. You can't just put everything down and say, hey,
- 13:39yeah, I'm going to come over and hang out with you guys. And I get that.
- 13:43Times will change because right now I'm looking more forward to things like
- 13:48that because you realize, yeah, we all know life is short and you got to do
- 13:54the things you want to do.
- 13:57And you asked me how I've been all the other day. I had my breakdown because
- 14:01I don't want to go to work anymore. I seriously it's one of those things.
- 14:04Last couple of days, I get up in the morning and it's been really clear and
- 14:08I'm looking at, you know, man, I'm always looking at sky anyway. way.
- 14:11And I've been looking at it. I said, wow, with the planets aligning and all
- 14:14I liked, and I'm stepping outside my door in the morning.
- 14:17And I'm like, all I want to do is sit and look at the sky, but I got to go to work.
- 14:21All I want to do is sit with my wife and hold her a little bit longer,
- 14:25but I got to go to work and it's driving me crazy.
- 14:28It really is. And that's where the emotions are coming from.
- 14:31It's just, you can't do the things that you really want. And I'm trying Trying
- 14:36to get myself in a spot where I can.
- 14:39And I think a lot of people are in that position. Everybody feels we have to
- 14:43work. And we really do. Because I'm willing to make a statement.
- 14:46Dealing with. I don't really deal with very many funerals. And I have a whole
- 14:49different thought process on death.
- 14:52But I'll tell you right now. You need money to live.
- 14:56And you need money to die. This poor family. And I think that was the biggest emotion.
- 15:02They had it empty. Every dollar they had in savings. Thanks for watching!
- 15:07Just to have a small little service for their mother.
- 15:12And I find that disgusting, you know, it was a cremation, so that's usually cheaper.
- 15:17And that was really all it was. And to have them, you know, they had to set up a GoFundMe.
- 15:24And I think that's just sad, sad in life that we have to pay to live and we
- 15:29have to pay to die. I don't even think we should be paying to live.
- 15:32You know, we as human beings somewhere along the lines, fuck things up.
- 15:36I don't know where i don't know where we went wrong and i'm just blabbering
- 15:40here so oh no i definitely feel that weight like the to pay to live like i'm
- 15:47definitely feeling that weight on my shoulders especially right now i was like
- 15:51a single mom just trying to balance everything and,
- 15:54you know i'm actually the opposite of you as much as i was dreading it work
- 15:59was kind of my release least this past few weeks because I was so busy doing what I needed to do.
- 16:08Um, and somehow I had the craziest amount of patience to deal with one of my coworkers,
- 16:17um, and not get overwhelmed or stressed out, but it was just such a release.
- 16:24Cause I wasn't thinking about, all right, what, What is the end of the year,
- 16:29through the end of the year, going to look like for my son and I?
- 16:34Where will we be at? Are we going to be moving? When will we be moving?
- 16:40You've got holidays coming up. All those things and picking up a second job
- 16:45and working that, taking away weekends.
- 16:48It's been a lot. And it's just been one of those things where I'm trying my hardest every day.
- 16:57Stay positive, not dwell on the negatives, and just trust that tomorrow's going
- 17:03to be a new day and I'm going to have...
- 17:08Like it's going to get better because I really don't have any other choice right now.
- 17:15So it's just, Oh, and I think everybody's kind of feeling that weight too.
- 17:22Um, especially with prices and just everything all together and salaries.
- 17:29I know mine hasn't really gone up much, but But, you know, just trying to stay
- 17:34positive through all of that.
- 17:36And you can definitely stay positive, like, with all of that, even when it's hard.
- 17:44I look at my little one and I'm like, I got you. We're good.
- 17:49You know, or looking at the sky. Look up at the sky on a clear night and I see
- 17:53all the stars and I'm like, gosh, this is so beautiful.
- 17:56Like, how lucky am I that I get to sit here and look at this?
- 18:01So those little positives to keep, keep you going.
- 18:05So are you more, this is like the most random question, but it was just going
- 18:09through my head. Are you more of like a sunrise type person?
- 18:14Um, or are you more like the sunset, like night type person?
- 18:18Well, I'll be honest. I'm a morning person. Uh, and the reason I think for like,
- 18:23I could stay up all night and I prefer like, if when When it comes to work,
- 18:27I prefer a night shift only because less people, less bosses and that kind of stuff.
- 18:31But, and I don't mind, like I do love the night skies and all that,
- 18:36but I am truly a morning person because no matter how late I stay up,
- 18:40I'm going to be up real early at the, you know, first rays of the sun.
- 18:44And I think I'm like that because I'm so appreciative of life and waking up
- 18:51first thing in the morning, it lets you realize it's a new day.
- 18:54It's a new chance to start over again.
- 18:56And I relate that with the sunrise.
- 18:59And that's why I'm kind of just a morning person for that reason.
- 19:05Very interesting. I don't, I don't, I love the sunrise.
- 19:11I think it's gorgeous, but there's, to me, there's something just so calming
- 19:18about the night sky with the stars.
- 19:21And my favorite type of night sky, and it's not even in summertime,
- 19:27it's actually in the wintertime.
- 19:30Especially right after, and I think I probably mentioned this before,
- 19:33right after it snows, the sky, everything's just lit up beautifully.
- 19:39Like you can see everything. It's that natural light. I don't know why,
- 19:42but random question got us way off topic, but just kind of interested to see.
- 19:48You know just popped in my head not just how my
- 19:51brain's been working recently yeah i
- 19:55think mine's been working like that too it's just you you
- 19:58do you start to appreciate i think those smaller things
- 20:01um i've been doing the
- 20:04same like i have a second job and i haven't really
- 20:07worked it that much i haven't really needed to but i had
- 20:10agreed to work in again a couple shifts
- 20:13and i just pulled another one right after i
- 20:15got out of my regular job it stayed till like almost midnight and
- 20:19i listen my body feels it it really does
- 20:22and it's not even a physically demanding job but
- 20:26it's just the loss and like i sit in there
- 20:29at the other job saying why do i need to do
- 20:32this why is it that i got to keep bringing in this money shouldn't my regular
- 20:35salary cover it and yeah that's why i say We need to start realizing that there
- 20:43are different things that we should start putting in place for our lives because at some point,
- 20:50we're going to need to rely on those smaller things in life rather than these really big things.
- 20:57Wealth to me would be great, but it's certainly not necessary.
- 21:02I don't want it. I want, I've been thinking of literally like selling every single thing I have.
- 21:09And unfortunately, I'm not single, so these here dreams I can't really do,
- 21:14but I would love to, like, sell everything, start walking, and never stop.
- 21:18I would love to walk across, you know, this here country and see everything and meet new people.
- 21:25Something like that thrills me, that sense of adventure. But again,
- 21:29we're held back because of unknown reasons.
- 21:34About two years ago, I did a podcast on my original podcast when it was just
- 21:38me on the third eye meditation.
- 21:39And it was called Invisible Barriers, where we have these invisible barriers
- 21:47that literally just block us from doing the things we like.
- 21:49There's really nothing stopping us from doing what we want to do.
- 21:52Nothing at all. When you really sit and think about it, like what's stopping
- 21:56me right now from getting out there and tell my wife, listen,
- 21:59I'll be back in a few months, but I'm going to start walking.
- 22:02Nothing's stopping me. Absolutely nothing. but we
- 22:05are stuck with this mindset
- 22:08that we have to go to work you know and we
- 22:11have this thing where we create these bills because we accepted it a long time
- 22:16ago saying well in order to put a roof over our heads to put food in our you
- 22:20know songs we have to pay for it what other species on this planet pays to do
- 22:24that only humans and at some point somebody thought about this and we all agree to it.
- 22:31So I think we're programmed incorrectly because we just accept this and everything
- 22:35we need to do relies on this money.
- 22:38And that's why I feel we're controlled by banks, you know, banks control,
- 22:42you know, everything that are real people in charge.
- 22:46And we're just, you know, slaves to this way. And now I'm going off on the conspiracy
- 22:50side of things, but I love to do, but Hey, listen, I've been watching a lot
- 22:54of documentaries about that, But yeah, we don't focus on those small little things.
- 22:59Like you said, just looking up in the sky, you have a child, Hannah has a child.
- 23:03These are things that mean more
- 23:06than anything else. And they're the only things we should be focused on.
- 23:10And but we do, we get distracted because we're trying to provide.
- 23:16And then we sit and say, well, why do we need to do that? Why can't we just
- 23:20live and be able to be happy?
- 23:23You know, that's my question.
- 23:29I i've thought about so many different ways like how could i make it work not
- 23:34having to work full time in the job that i'm doing and right now it's just virtually
- 23:39impossible like on paper it just wouldn't work but i did set myself a few goals
- 23:45because there are things that i want to do with my son,
- 23:49like just travel and not even travel fancy,
- 23:54but just travel, you know, whether it be the car and, you know,
- 23:58we fold down the seats and sleep in the car at nighttime or whatever the case
- 24:03may be, but to eventually be able to do that with him, to enjoy those little moments.
- 24:08Cause I'm realizing that it's going so much faster than I ever anticipated it going.
- 24:16And when I say it I mean, life.
- 24:19Like, he's growing. I'm getting older. Like...
- 24:24I feel like I'm still a kid in the summertime sitting on my grandma's back porch eating strawberries.
- 24:31It doesn't feel like I'm an actual adult trying to make adult decisions and get through every day.
- 24:40But it's crazy because it's like, what if I just quit?
- 24:45Could I do it? And it would only last for so long before I'd have to go back
- 24:51to some type of office job to be able to support us. Right.
- 25:00And I have the same kind of plan, too. It's like we're thinking of starting
- 25:04a little side business, my wife and I.
- 25:08And hopefully, you know, I don't want to make it big.
- 25:11I just want to make it enough where we could do like, you know.
- 25:13Yeah, I know I use the word gypsy and people are probably going to have them,
- 25:17you know, free, but I'm going to live like kind of a gypsy kind of lifestyle.
- 25:20And I like that. And I appreciate that where it's simple and it's nothing,
- 25:25you know, that we have to stress every single night, just rely on the very basics.
- 25:31But I would like to start that little side project, work my regular job up until
- 25:35I'm ready and I'm done, which is coming real soon, hopefully.
- 25:40And I mean, I know I'm still going to have to work, but I've already decided
- 25:43the next job I get, it's going to be four days a week. That's it.
- 25:47I'm not going to take any job that's not four days a week.
- 25:51This way I have a little bit of extra time, take that one extra day where I
- 25:54could do the things I want to do is that I could be with the people that I love,
- 25:58spend more time with them.
- 26:00And that's been what's the one thing going on in my head and you know after
- 26:04this whole loss with the family I said you know,
- 26:08Anybody out there, people I know, probably some of our listeners maybe,
- 26:12some people don't have anybody to fall back onto.
- 26:15And that's why Hannah and I always say, hey, reach out to us if you need to.
- 26:19If you just want to hear somebody say something or someone to talk to.
- 26:23There's professionals out there that can help you, but sometimes you just want
- 26:27to hear it from a real person. So reach out to us.
- 26:31Get us on our Facebook page or get us on our email, theeyeopenersocietyatgmail.com. Reach out to us.
- 26:38If we could help out in any kind of way, just lend an ear or just give some
- 26:42sort of advice or some sort of encouragement.
- 26:44I think it's real important right now, us as human beings, because every day,
- 26:48not only do I go to work, but going to and coming from work.
- 26:53And I know we had talked about during lunch about travel and the roads every day.
- 27:02It's homicidal.
- 27:04Societal i i see the way people are becoming when they go behind the wheel of a car and.
- 27:11They're jeopardizing the lives of everybody out there including themselves and
- 27:15this is starting to just add to my worries like i don't want to die in the hands
- 27:22of someone being stupid so i can't come home to my wife and i that's why i'm
- 27:27stopping as much travel as i can i come home and I want to stay home.
- 27:30I don't even want to go out.
- 27:32This is what's becoming of the world. And we need to change.
- 27:35We need to become much better than that as human beings.
- 27:40Stop being stupid. You know, you get behind the wheel of that car,
- 27:43you're going to kill somebody. And it's not right. It's not fair.
- 27:47So these are things that I think about. And it's all tied into needing someone
- 27:54to talk to sometimes because these things affect you. you know they build up and,
- 27:59I think as I'm getting older, I'm seeing that I just want to enjoy a few more moments of my life.
- 28:05You know, if I could stretch it out a little bit more, I certainly will.
- 28:11I definitely, I feel you with that. I drive one of the, one of the highways
- 28:18that has in our state that has the most fatal accidents.
- 28:22I drive one every day. And I just, I'm learning to do a whole new,
- 28:29I'm a horrible road rager. Oh, I'm horrible.
- 28:32I will cuss you out up and down behind the wheel.
- 28:36You'd think I'm like a six foot five, you know, 250 pound woman just coming at you.
- 28:42But no, just a little old me. but finding that peace and not letting it rile
- 28:48me up because I don't want to be the one person that gets caught in a road rage
- 28:52accident or something like that. Somebody cuts me off.
- 28:55I've just been backing up. I still might say a couple more cuss words,
- 29:00but I want to be able to enjoy my life.
- 29:03I want to be able to enjoy moments and not let the little things like that because
- 29:07I don't know about you, but by the time I would get to wherever I'm going,
- 29:11I'm so worked up from things that would happen on the highway that I just,
- 29:18to wind down and to get out of that mind frame,
- 29:21it would take me a good 15, 20 minutes, maybe even longer.
- 29:26So now it's just like, I can't control anybody else. I can't control how they respond.
- 29:32I can't control how they act. The only thing I can control is how I act and
- 29:37how I let that impact my day.
- 29:39And even when it's hard finding one positive to stay positive so.
- 29:48I like that. That's brilliant. Yeah, we cannot control others.
- 29:52I can suggest what others should do, but we just can't demand that.
- 29:56But yeah, we all have control over ourselves and we need to be in that mindset
- 30:01where we're sharing this planet with everybody else.
- 30:05Let's enjoy it together. Let's stop being horrible human beings and let's start
- 30:10acting a little bit more caring and compassion.
- 30:15You don't have to be the world's most loving person. You don't have to be,
- 30:17you know but you got to understand that we don't
- 30:20need to take away from anybody else and i
- 30:23want that to be the lesson for everybody and that's basically what our show
- 30:27is about and believe me there's so much more and when hannah comes back we're
- 30:32going to have some great discussions on this too and a lot more and i wanted
- 30:37to take this opportunity to say that um part of super september,
- 30:42our behind the eyes uh show that we
- 30:45do we do it live on facebook we're changing everything up
- 30:48because i'm tired of facebook i'm tired of doing the live i'm tired of the algorithms
- 30:52and nobody tuning in because nobody gets notified so we're going to change that
- 30:56up we're still going to do it and it's perfect time for this month because there's
- 31:00five mondays so instead of doing one extra podcast we're going to do behind
- 31:06the eyes the way we would do a regular podcast podcast.
- 31:09We will film it and we will put it on Facebook. This way it's not live and we're
- 31:14going to improve on that too.
- 31:16We're going to go back to when we first did it. It was going to be a lot more behind the scenes.
- 31:19It's going to be a lot more storytelling and a little bit more personal stuff
- 31:23rather than just sitting and going over the episodes that we did for the month.
- 31:26It's going to be a whole wrap up and it's going to be a true behind the scenes of Eye Opener Society.
- 31:32Hopefully Brittany, you could join us for those two since, especially since
- 31:36you're part of one of the shows goes so far for this month.
- 31:38So I'm really hoping that September brings a little bit more calm and peace
- 31:46and settlement. Um, and.
- 31:49To my life and trying to I started
- 31:53this year like I'm gonna own this year it's gonna be mine now
- 31:56here I am like I'm gonna make it through this year I'm gonna it's gonna be okay
- 32:01so I really hope that I am able to join you more and hopefully start the launch
- 32:09I think when I know more concrete create information with a few,
- 32:14like what will come in the next few months,
- 32:17then I'll be able to get that started, get off the ground with that,
- 32:23obviously with your help, but with that podcast.
- 32:27Yeah, no worries. You're just going to provide the voice. That's it.
- 32:30I'll do everything else for you. I think you got the right mindset.
- 32:34Yeah. We understand life is full of ups and downs and that's
- 32:36what happens but as long as you're
- 32:39remaining positive and you understand
- 32:42that the pendulum swings and is
- 32:46eventually going to be a bounce back things are going to get better and with
- 32:49a podcast it's so great because you get to
- 32:52talk about all those things and you get a lot out of you
- 32:55and it feels better when you talk about it and that's
- 32:58what i like about doing this and that's why i'm so passionate about doing
- 33:01this podcast because it does it gives you that voice
- 33:04to talk and hopefully people are
- 33:07relating to it um and that means a lot and you've got the right mindset and
- 33:11i think you're going to do fine uh it's just gonna be a little rocky for a while
- 33:16but read the tarot get in contact with elaine at um elaine's arcane tarot.com she's got fantastic,
