The Supreme Court just shut down Donald Trump’s last-ditch appeal in the E. Jean Carroll sexual abuse case, leaving his $5 million civil verdict intact. Carroll’s allegations of assault in the 90s — which Trump has denied since 2019 — were backed by a jury that also heard testimony from other accusers and the infamous “Access Hollywood” tape.
