- 1:18and it's like always looks the same.
- 1:20It's so Sunny because you're in Cali and I always forget that
- 1:22you're like, two hours in the past, or some shit.

- 1:38How are you? I'm good actually gotten, it's
- 1:41been crazy. I've had, you know, has been
- 1:45busy busy holiday season so that's always kind of crazy for
- 1:48me and then I got some famine town.
- 1:52So one of my sister's was in town this like over the weekend
- 1:56and so is my nephew. My nephew's actually kind of be
- 2:00in the area doing his internship, man.
- 2:03My nephew's got like the first of all this kids like a genius,
- 2:06but second of all he's got, listen to this hook up.
- 2:08His internship as a paid internship with a major
- 2:12distributor, for of golf clubs. We'll just leave it at that and
- 2:17he works in like he's a what is it?
- 2:19An industrial Engineers, what he's studying to be.
- 2:21So he's like Ellen like the day-to-day operations and
- 2:24efficiencies and it's super cool.
- 2:26This Bros getting like, 50% discount on all items getting
- 2:32the hook up on This golf gear did.
- 2:34I was like, man, I don't play golf but I might start because
- 2:37you got the Hook-Up. I have to say this now.
- 2:40So our boy figure a who does most of the music on our
- 2:45podcast. He has his own golf Vlog.
- 2:50If you Le called, 95 Golf, and he that he gets the same thing.
- 2:58Braids is also starting his own clothing company.
- 3:03That's a God would golfing. Yeah, he would.
- 3:06Yeah, it's called. See like seea to t0 t e.
- 3:15So c 2 T and it's about being like a surfer golfer.
- 3:19Hmm. Yeah.
- 3:20The Niner every night 95 and 59 25 is legit on Instagram and He
- 3:28all the time. Like I got golf balls right now
- 3:30because he like we went out golfing and I ran out and he
- 3:34just gave me some, you got for free?
- 3:36Yeah, he's going to get the Hook-Up on, all golf.
- 3:39I call Golf items. I mean, it's like a nerd and
- 3:41it's nice stuff and so it's pretty chill because he's going
- 3:44to be in the area all summer doing this paid internship
- 3:48because it's for some reason of course it's based out of like
- 3:50the DFW Creator Metroplex area. So it's dope for me because I
- 3:55got my nephew, I'm going to go take him to Ranger.
- 3:57As games and like, get them drunk and shit.
- 3:59So it's going to be awesome. How old is he?
- 4:01He's 22. How do ya know he's doing is,
- 4:04he's going into his junior year of college.
- 4:07Are you sure he's going to be an engineer?
- 4:18Yeah, I know. But he's he's like super awesome
- 4:24and, you know, he's named after me actually.
- 4:27So it's pretty. Tight.
- 4:28So I'm like this. Yeah, no caps on his cool older.
- 4:31Like black uncle that is named after.
- 4:33So it's the coolest thing ever. I get.
- 4:35It's like my job is great. You didn't know that.
- 4:38Yeah, man. How would I know that?
- 4:40I don't know. Yeah, I mean yeah, he's my
- 4:42nephew is named after me for sure and he's like this super
- 4:46smart engineer former college football player.
- 4:49That's cool. Yeah, it's tight.
- 4:50So I get to hang out with him like all summer, so I'm super
- 4:53stoked. So I got to see them over the
- 4:55weekend and spend time with a bunch of my Me and him and you
- 4:58know, he's finally, I lived in Denver he was up there and, you
- 5:01know, we would go to, like, basketball games and shit, you
- 5:04know? But he was still like, you know,
- 5:0616 17 18. So it's chill, but it was just
- 5:09different. Now we can like, go to the bar
- 5:10and go get a beer, you know. Yeah, so yeah.
- 5:14So it's, I took him to an Ami as bro, what does enemy hands?
- 5:19It's the place with the tableside guac to do the
- 5:22tableside guac and it's I mean, I didn't get it, but I remember,
- 5:28Miko Cena in a Town Square in Southlake.
- 5:32Yeah, it was my shitted, the they're everywhere now really?
- 5:37Oh yeah, a franchise it. Yeah, dude, they're everywhere.
- 5:41I go. They got bounced your something.
- 5:43But no like the case of it they would do with like the like for
- 5:47you what it was called I like and I like I thought it was like
- 5:50some amazing thing like the name of it and then I like learned a
- 5:54little bit of Spanish and it was like just like Okay, so and
- 5:58tortillas but they would wrap it up and tortilla and it was like,
- 6:01so good. I was like, oh my God.
- 6:03Yeah, they can get really get you with like technologist,
- 6:08Spanish food with like the names.
- 6:10It could be like, Cameroon is this about those?
- 6:12You like, ooh, that sounds good. As like this one.
- 6:13The Showbiz, the shoes, you're horrible.
- 6:27It's like, I dream about it. What was this trip?
- 6:30Because I was like, ooh, I'll get like a frozen Mark.
- 6:33He was like, I'll get one too. I was like, oh, hell yeah, let's
- 6:35go. Now just had a flashback.
- 6:38I'm not even kidding. On my 16th birthday.
- 6:42I had I had it at Me Cocina. Yeah, specifically the case
- 6:49that's faded. I think everybody.
- 6:51Think everybody's made a really bad, not that that's a bad
- 6:55decision because it wasn't that. It was fun as fun.
- 6:57It's great. Yeah, I know.
- 6:57But yeah, something like you've wanted to have a birthday dinner
- 7:00at some place strictly because of like one item that's like the
- 7:04most that's the, that's a such a great analogy for being a kid in
- 7:07general. Like you can eat anywhere and
- 7:09get whatever you want. You're like I want Burger King
- 7:11because they have chicken fries and your parents like fuck?
- 7:14Yeah, let's go bro. Like they don't have that you
- 7:15don't understand but I don't waste those in your.
- 7:17Yeah, our sin. I had all of like the Ala
- 7:21Shorty's from the high school day and all of them cheese off.
- 7:27That's how you get it's Texas bro.
- 7:29That's how you get amazing. But yeah, they just didn't know
- 7:31what they're getting into, but I also had a whole like, the
- 7:35dirtbags, you know, from the high school there.
- 7:38So Patrick, yeah, I'll just come fuck it.
- 7:43Patrick was there, you know PT? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 7:50And we left and from there. Got drunk and he got his first
- 7:58tattoo that day. It was a, it was a shamrock.
- 8:03Amazing on my birthday motherfucker.
- 8:06That's like that's like getting them like asking somebody to
- 8:11marry you on somebody else's, like, I like at some of you had
- 8:15somebody else's wedding. Yeah, that's like, isn't that?
- 8:17Like some nightmare something they talked about, we're like
- 8:19that's a giant fear. You're like yes, stealing
- 8:23someone shined that Kind of a shine.
- 8:24Stealer, you couldn't steal my shine at my wedding, like three
- 8:29people are getting engaged like I would celebrate it.
- 8:33Yeah, I mean, if your ya know, I don't know.
- 8:35I think that's in bad taste. That's what if you got if you
- 8:37guys heard that would be funny as if it'd be funny.
- 8:41It be I guess it'd be less tasteful if you don't know the
- 8:44person. So if you're like, just like a
- 8:45guest like, it's like, like a c-lister at a wedding and with a
- 8:50plus one and that plus one asks the CD Lister to Free them or
- 8:54vice versa. They're like Who's the who the
- 8:56fuck is that? Bitch?
- 8:57Like what is going up, right? That would probably be a bit of.
- 9:00It was like your sister's wedding unless you got some
- 9:02weird beef. Oh no.
- 9:05No, that's no, I don't know what like I was listening to a story
- 9:08about this interjection where this sister like played some
- 9:11prank and stood up and was like oh I object like did some fake
- 9:16objection to her at her sister's wedding and it was like some big
- 9:19wide fall out and there was some fight supposedly or something
- 9:21like that. I was a reading some articles.
- 9:24Shitty radio show about it and I was like yeah I don't think
- 9:28there's ever a good time. You only, you can joke around
- 9:30like that unless you really know that person or y'all are tie
- 9:33well, what if what if what is the like wedding that you
- 9:37proposed like to your significant other app?
- 9:42Like what if that marriage got a divorce before your your wedding
- 9:50and I'm saying so so you're planning your wedding.
- 9:54You like ever, you're talking about how I proposed to her at
- 9:58this wedding and then they're divorced before you get the
- 10:02wedding? That would be weird.
- 10:04CID, I don't know. Like, I think you just can't
- 10:06really mess with people's Mojo, like wedding Mojo.
- 10:09I guess you just gotta leave it alone.
- 10:11I'm always nervous and they're like, do you object or something
- 10:14cringy happens? I'm like, because that's what
- 10:16part of at, someone's like, memory for forever.
- 10:19Well, I'm going to a wedding in a month, and it's the vat.
- 10:24My former coworker. And I told them that I'm going
- 10:30to object and it's not because I don't like his fiancee.
- 10:35I think she's great it's just because he's so young.
- 10:38And he didn't consult me before he proposed to her, don't do
- 10:43that. I'm not going.
- 10:44I'm not actually going to, but I've just threatened him with
- 10:47that. Yeah, that's like yeah, don't do
- 10:50that your dick if you fucking do that.
- 10:53That yeah that's right. It's like it's like if you were
- 10:56if you were actually a good friend, you talk him out or her
- 10:59out of it before it gets to that point.
- 11:03Yeah, but once it's at that point then it's like, shut the
- 11:06fuck up. Yeah.
- 11:08For sure. Okay.
- 11:10Do you want to get into these therapy questions first?
- 11:12Yes, I do. And yes, actually Yeah, I'm into
- 11:18these. Okay.
- 11:19Yeah, let's go. No, I'm
- 11:33crying. Sure.
- 11:36There are some some days if you like that you don't get to
- 11:39curate your like therapy. All right.
- 11:43Yeah therapy episode. 40 kids, are you there you Leading Light
- 11:47there. Right now, besides the therapy
- 11:49that like I'm a guardian. Does that mean that your honor
- 11:53therapist? Oh my God.
- 11:54What the fuck is going on? Outside of them?
- 11:57It's better. I don't have a therapist right
- 11:59now so you're okay. That's great.
- 12:04My therapist doesn't have a therapist now.
- 12:08I'm the King Koopa. Yeah.
- 12:11Lord. I thought I was doing so good
- 12:15and I realize I'm so far off the tracks.
- 12:17It's not even funny. That's that's the goal is to get
- 12:21the therapist who doesn't have one.
- 12:22That's like how you know you made it.
- 12:24Yeah. I mean like the fact that you're
- 12:26my therapist is making me have a breakthrough right now.
- 12:30It's pretty powerful, right? That's right.
- 12:32That's right. That's right.
- 12:33You're welcome. I'm here for it.
- 12:37We can talk. Okay, therapy.
- 12:40Question number one, Joseph. Are you ready?
- 12:43Yeah, I don't know. This is the therapy question but
- 12:49stick with me. Well, I'm serious about this.
- 12:52Okay, well, I am too on an airplane when sitting in the
- 12:58middle seat. Who gets to use the armrest?
- 13:07I personally think that if I'm in the middle, I think, if
- 13:10you're in the middle, you deserve at least one arm rest,
- 13:13you get 10K there. Be the right or just one left
- 13:16the right or the left. You have to establish preferably
- 13:19probably to the left because the person who has the window is
- 13:23going to get that arm. Rest already.
- 13:26Like what do you like? Okay, I'm sorry.
- 13:28No, I'm sorry. Depends on which side of there
- 13:30and you are on. Right?
- 13:31Well don't know. So yeah so we'll know if I'm in
- 13:33the middle seat I'd probably yeah, I guess it does.
- 13:35But yeah I mean if I'm in the middle C I think that I should
- 13:38get the armrest in the middle. Right.
- 13:40So if I more like, so for Middle left, if I'm facing forward, the
- 13:44one closest to the person sitting on the window.
- 13:47Yeah. Because the window already has
- 13:48an established armrest just like the aisle, does they already
- 13:51have established spots or like I have a spot to put my arm.
- 13:55So I think that normally Based off who's the nicest or you can
- 13:58switch it up, depending on the people.
- 14:01You should be able, you should establish, which which armrest
- 14:04you want to take now? I mean, you can try to be a dick
- 14:07and take both and be like, why am I in the middle?
- 14:09But that's like a dick move. I think you pick a side.
- 14:12You like, okay, man, I'm right, arm chilling.
- 14:13Today. I ride, I'm supposed to not up.
- 14:15This is what I'm rolling with my left.
- 14:17My left arm do its thing. I'm gonna play my switch or I'm
- 14:19going to do whatever be on my laptop, and then well, now that
- 14:24I think about it, okay. So, I haven't been in the middle
- 14:29since I've been an adult because I'm a grown-ass man, and I
- 14:34always get the aisle seat. People also like like half the
- 14:38people are like I'll see I'd much rather the window.
- 14:41I'm like what the fuck you talking about?
- 14:43I just like the because I'm a little bit claustrophobic.
- 14:45Now a little bit, a lot of bit of claustrophobic and I just
- 14:49like being on the aisle and then I'm also going to just like spit
- 14:53game at like the flight attendant but um, so now that I
- 14:59think about it and I did not think about this until you just
- 15:02started talking Yeah, the person, the out should go to the
- 15:08to like the aisle armchair lean on it.
- 15:13And then the person at the window, should go lean on the
- 15:15window one. And the person in the middle
- 15:18gets both because you in the fucking middle.
- 15:21Yeah. But I mean see I like to give
- 15:22but they don't have to get the metal but and I Army Bells a
- 15:27blessing. The aisle is a blessing and a
- 15:28curse to me because the aisle is great, but depending on who your
- 15:32next to your going to, you can have to move a shit ton if
- 15:35you're in the Miles from so cool with that.
- 15:37No, you're cool with it. But sometimes you get super old
- 15:40man, it can be the aisle. Can the aisle is great but can
- 15:43also in the aisle is kind of a wild card.
- 15:46You get the window seat. You're tucked in.
- 15:48So yeah you can get the weirdo who's going to be next to you?
- 15:50You can just kind of sleep, put your head up, look out the
- 15:52window for them to headphones, but the aisle like you're very
- 15:56exposed. So if you got a cringy ass
- 15:57person to your left, across the aisle, I can just bounce real
- 16:01fucking quick know, they'll be like, sir, the safety.
- 16:05The safety about lights on you need to stay seated.
- 16:07Yeah well I don't ya. Come back.
- 16:09Come back to me. I got the cock acid you can get
- 16:12up you know. It's true life.
- 16:15Yeah. I mean if you're like flying
- 16:16Spirit or Frontier, they might not even have seat belts.
- 16:18You would just get up and B'Elanna have day is that that
- 16:22is like the last couple of flat Nam couple like the last few
- 16:25flights I've been on where spirit and I don't understand
- 16:30the hate like, sure. It's not that bad things, right?
- 16:34It's been, it's just bad PR. It was like Denny's had a rough
- 16:36spot because there was a lot of fights that were taking place at
- 16:39Denny's and people had videos and people like whoa have you
- 16:41seen those Denny's fights? And then you know Danny's got a
- 16:43little rap right now. It's Waffle House Waffle House.
- 16:46Set some wild stuff going on lately when is it never had
- 16:49wild? Sony kidding me, dude, like
- 16:51we've been on that room like Waffle House at like 2:30 a.m.
- 16:54like trying to get like our hash browns with cheese and ham.
- 16:57Yeah, and someone's getting stabbed.
- 17:00Like I mean not from us but we're just witnessing it.
- 17:02Yeah yeah definitely. Waffle House is definitely
- 17:06always Rowdy. But Denny's.
- 17:08I'm but you know, like I'm just saying that it's gotten a little
- 17:12bit of a bad rap. Yeah.
- 17:15Yeah. Absent, like as it should be
- 17:17warranted and that's it. Should I just have shorty over
- 17:23it and we were gonna order food and she's like, oh, she's like
- 17:27we can order from the burger Dan and I'm like, no, that's
- 17:30Danny's. It's like one of those ghost
- 17:32kitchens. Were they?
- 17:33Yeah, yeah. Yeah.
- 17:34A lie about like, That it's coming from Danny's.
- 17:37It's just the burgers from Denny's and it's called a burger
- 17:40Dead. Awesome.
- 17:42Sounds like that's dead and she's like, but okay, but I
- 17:47think that if you're in the aisle, I like to give the person
- 17:50in the aisle every once in a while.
- 17:51Both armrests. Because, like, they're gonna
- 17:53have to move a lot. Like if you're in the middle,
- 17:55you're already in the middle C. So what I get on planes?
- 17:57First of all, hate flying gotten a lot better about it.
- 18:00I was fine when I was a kid and then I didn't fly for like 13
- 18:04years and then whenever I Did fly.
- 18:06It was like the worst flight of all time and just like fucked me
- 18:11up. I was like too grown to be
- 18:12getting on a plane after that long, you know.
- 18:15And maybe I had an edible before, which is probably not a
- 18:18good idea. So like after that I was like,
- 18:21but it just gives me like a little bit of anxiety, because
- 18:23like you said, it's kind of claustrophobic.
- 18:25But people, I'll sit anywhere. I people leave the middle seat.
- 18:31So sometimes depending on how I'm feeling, I only listened,
- 18:33I'm Listen to George Carlin. When I say Fly because it makes
- 18:36me laugh. I was into his old joke about
- 18:38like airport security and his whole like stand-up bit.
- 18:41Like Cory talks about flying and stuff makes me laugh.
- 18:44I get weird about it but then I just added like recently I've
- 18:48been come like better at it like where I'm just like what the
- 18:51fuck's gonna happen like it's about to take off and then I'll
- 18:54just take some like unprescribed Xanax, see I do.
- 18:59I'll fall asleep if I chill, or I'd like my switch and I'll sit
- 19:02there and mash on something on my switch or work or It's
- 19:05something, I'll be fine. But I'll only listen to like a
- 19:08Texan, to a party being an edible.
- 19:10Before We complain sounds like a nightmare.
- 19:14Yeah, it was very rough. I was just watching Wolf of Wall
- 19:16Street. There are like just all sorts of
- 19:20fucked up on the plane to go do like, Switzerland, you just
- 19:24wakes up and he's strapped into like the chair.
- 19:27He's like, Yo dude, let me help to like Jonas.
- 19:29Oh yeah, he's like I can't get the captain's trapped you in.
- 19:34He's like, wow. What.
- 19:38No, I mean. Yeah.
- 19:40It's like wherever I told you I got like, I've had, I've been
- 19:42searched. Like, you know, those little
- 19:44skinny things, if your hair, if your hair has got a little bit
- 19:47of water in it, it'll like Ping. So there's times where I've like
- 19:50gone the take a shower gun ready guys.
- 19:52I don't I don't know what you're talking about.
- 19:54So they're in like I mean the most airports have a little
- 19:57security scanner where they do the body scan like the TSA.
- 20:00Yeah, TSA like there's times when my hair was really big and
- 20:04I put my water and I Add over a thousand dollars in cash in my
- 20:08hand. The last time I was on the plane
- 20:11because that's going to Vegas, look, is there cash in your
- 20:14hand? I was like, yeah, like what?
- 20:19And I was like, I wasn't gonna put my cash in the fucking
- 20:22conveyor belt. Yeah.
- 20:24No, my hair's been wet. That's ridiculous.
- 20:27Well, is that cash in your hands like that?
- 20:29Other than that, most badass s like fucking like what?
- 20:33Yeah, yeah. Said you by yourself 20 extra
- 20:37minutes talking to somebody. Rubbing your dad it.
- 20:39I got the Cassidy I took the money clip off though and I put
- 20:43that in the like through the skin.
- 20:46Like the conveyor belt. Yeah, I'm just kept the cash,
- 20:50that's fair. Um no it's all one time I was
- 20:53traveling it was flying back to Texas in man.
- 20:57I've been searched like so many times for the dumbest shit like
- 21:00with my hair is ever wet. They'll they've I've had my hair
- 21:03peeing on that fucking thing and they pulled me aside.
- 21:05Side and someone with gloves is like, picking through my hair,
- 21:08like a lemur, like or until you got in here.
- 21:11I'm like, dude, like get the fuck off me.
- 21:12And it's like and what's really funny is like there's one time I
- 21:16went, I might even case. So one time, I went, and for
- 21:19some reason in like my groin thigh area, it pinged for some
- 21:24reason and there's a little Cube.
- 21:26And okay, so, and I was with this, you got CC, so your balls
- 21:29are wet. I guess is what I'm saying?
- 21:31I've never heard about this. Yeah, man.
- 21:33No man. There's a there's people out.
- 21:35Out there that is. I know.
- 21:36I believe you. I'm yeah.
- 21:38So and it's this black, dude, this older black guy and he
- 21:41pulls me aside. He's like look, dog is like
- 21:43Iron, Man. Like I got to do this.
- 21:44I got a, you don't say, I'm gonna take my hands like this.
- 21:46I'm going to roll them up and down across from your legs, dog.
- 21:49You don't saying like, I don't want to do.
- 21:51I'm sure you chill, but I got it.
- 21:52I'm hard. Right?
- 21:53Was like, it was like, it was, it was so jealous.
- 21:55Like it's like I'm in like, no worries.
- 21:57It's all good. He's just like.
- 21:58Yeah. So the whole what's wasn't that
- 22:00weird? What's the Houston died?
- 22:01What you doing down in Houston, trying to like look, I'm Under
- 22:05this wedding with this girl, is the funniest shit ever.
- 22:09But like, I mean, like I told you with the dog, whenever I
- 22:12like I said, hey, what's up pup? And then that dog indicated.
- 22:16And I mean, I got searched, I've indicated the like use Juventus
- 22:19indicated for explosives. I was like, what, like what the
- 22:22fuck and they've like search through all my shit and run some
- 22:26little swab through it and then put it on this machine and then
- 22:29a ping that's always clean. I'm like do like what's going
- 22:32on? Like I'm not kidding every time
- 22:33I go to the airport either. There or back, no matter where
- 22:36I'm going, whatever time I'm going to get stopped some some,
- 22:40some dude, some old white guys, some or some old black man's
- 22:44gonna sit there, be like rubbing my thighs down for 20 minutes
- 22:47like, I'm about to run the 300 meter.
- 22:48Hurdles somehow me devata. Who's getting married that?
- 22:52I'm going to object-- up the wedding even though he was kind
- 22:55enough to invite me. He sounds so shitty, he's he's
- 23:03from Guatemala. And him and I've been an
- 23:08interesting accent and I said it before, like when you was on the
- 23:12podcast left. Like so I did it again but it
- 23:16was when you were a gas before you took over, he I've been on
- 23:21multiple business trips with him and he would always even tell me
- 23:25like you know before the first one he's like I always get
- 23:27stopped. I always get stopped and I was
- 23:29like come on man we'll be fine and every single time I be like
- 23:34putting my shoes Shoes back on and he's like, yeah, where's
- 23:39where's the vodka? And I turn around, you're just
- 23:42giving him shit and was like God damn it and I would just sit
- 23:46there on the bench until you got done.
- 23:48And it'll be all right. Ready.
- 23:50Oh dude, it's still a level to where like one time I didn't get
- 23:54strip searched and whenever I got to Vegas they'd like there
- 23:58was a was taped up and there was a car that was like, TSA opened
- 24:02your bag. I was like, they left, they let
- 24:03me go through but somehow they, Stop and search like my bag.
- 24:08Goddamn it. Like leave me alone.
- 24:10It's coming. Oh, so oh, and for the record.
- 24:14So, then do gets done. Rub in my pants down.
- 24:17He's like, our dog, he's great. And then we leave, we got on the
- 24:19plane. Did you have an orgasm?
- 24:21We get back to Texas, bro. This girl that I was going on
- 24:25this trip with the entire time, went through the scanner, put
- 24:28her bag in. She had like a bag of weed and a
- 24:31pipe in her hoodie pocket. She was like I got insecurity in
- 24:35the I realized I had it and then I somehow I got searched what,
- 24:40what do you mean somehow? You know, I do like his dicks
- 24:43indicating pull him. Aside come here buddy, pop, a
- 24:46squat. Yeah, that's a strong flat.
- 24:49Like I don't even have a chair for me.
- 24:50Now, pop, a squat into squat right there.
- 24:52Did you tell ya? My dick was.
- 24:54So he was so angry, but I got pulled over by TSA.
- 24:59It was it was pretty funny. It was pretty, she was laughing.
- 25:02And then he was. Did you hook up?
- 25:04He was so He was hoeing, you hook up with this girl.
- 25:07No, no. What but wasn't like that, but
- 25:12totally was so uncomfortable with the entire thing of.
- 25:16Like, giving me the rub down like it was the most awkward you
- 25:19loved it. Now, you didn't seem too bad but
- 25:23like it's just, I've never worried about it.
- 25:25I'm like, yeah, touch that. Well no, I'm just like, oh,
- 25:27they're going to search me when they're like oh you've indicated
- 25:30for bomb stuff? I'm like, what?
- 25:31Like what the hell are you talking about?
- 25:33It's all those fireworks. He didn't like they took - oh,
- 25:36and like, lighting like field saw.
- 25:37No man. Like I'm telling you like that,
- 25:39to the level of like, I have like my ID in my pocket.
- 25:43I've all my stuff everything's put away nothing's in my
- 25:46pockets, like, like, shoe, like, I wear sandals, so I can just
- 25:49keep those off your not like Steven Tyler like wearing
- 25:52Bella's and shit. No, I'm like in the zone of like
- 25:56prep of getting ready to just walk through and be left alone
- 25:59for the weekend. Hey Average Joe and instead know
- 26:02you're not an average that bro hey Lenny crap you're in half.
- 26:05Bro, come on, average, bro. No, I'm not, don't say that.
- 26:10I'm just telling you how it works.
- 26:11It's not like, I like want this to be the case.
- 26:13It's just it's obvious like, why?
- 26:15They're like yeah. Being you harder than me and I'm
- 26:19nervous too. When I go through and just
- 26:20because of all the weird, well, you're going through with cash.
- 26:25No, like, leave them alone, he has money, leave him alone.
- 26:27Looking, I'm going to Vegas for. Look at this Rich.
- 26:29Look at this Rich. Son of a bitch.
- 26:30Get on. Get on through there.
- 26:32You bastard. You snowy bastard.
- 26:34That's exactly. What they're saying to you and
- 26:36then I come here over here, buddy.
- 26:38I actually left that same time. I left my laptop that I'm on
- 26:41right now. The supercomputer, every my
- 26:44backpack, in my December and they're like, whoa, who left
- 26:49their laptop in the backpack. And I say, I thought I just had
- 26:52to get my cell phone out there. Like whoa, this laptop is nice.
- 26:56Is this? The like Saturday May the
- 26:58laptop? And I was like yeah.
- 27:00They're like, all right. And they just like scan it
- 27:02through again and I go ahead. Hell man.
- 27:06Also also, here's a couple hundred, like, just in case
- 27:09like, you know, dude, if I was flat out of, like, Alabama
- 27:13Airport, they belied with my, I could take out.
- 27:15I would never talk to you again. I could take my laptop.
- 27:18I could take my laptop out of it and put it in a bin.
- 27:20They block. He's got one of them, learn
- 27:22books, one of them. This he's lettered, stop them
- 27:27Gordon. Come over here.
- 27:28Come here now. Come here that's that.
- 27:30They would like the amount. I guess I'd have to fly out
- 27:34there and I just want to be It's like, no, like, leave me alone,
- 27:37could be like, some To Kill a Mocking Bird shit.
- 27:40I have to go on trial, I'm just like, like, get your ass on
- 27:45time. I'm not even getting one time, I
- 27:47got pulled over and not to, like, make this totally
- 27:49different subject, but I got pulled over.
- 27:51I was, in my, I was in my car. My car was registered to my dad.
- 27:56He gave me. He had a, he had a car and he
- 27:57just gave me the extra car because I was Carlos for a bit
- 28:00and got pulled over and then, dude, like we have the same last
- 28:05name. Name.
- 28:05But like I guess if you run like who the car is registered to its
- 28:09registered since some like 72 year old like white guy in
- 28:13Dallas the man he was hassling me like I stole this car and I
- 28:17was trying to explain to him that I'm like adopted and that
- 28:19like my dad's like my family's Caucasian and like so my parents
- 28:23are white like I'm that's like me.
- 28:25Like here's my ID or name said the same.
- 28:28Like, I'm pretty sure what I got a ticket or something.
- 28:30When I was a minor, like, he's attached to that, you can see
- 28:33that we're related. I mean, it was Our two-hour long
- 28:36event is like you steal. This car has like no look at
- 28:40like my dad knows. I have it goddamn yeah some
- 28:43watch it all right y'all therapy question number.
- 28:49Two Joseph. What would a time machine look
- 28:55like if it existed or mean what I would want it to look like his
- 29:01kind of been be either the Magic School Bus Yes, because Ms
- 29:06frizzles let and I feel like that bitch is go back, she would
- 29:11just kind of promiscuous. Yab don't be a dog.
- 29:14I don't know if I've talked about this before on here
- 29:16before, but she's like, the she was, she would be fired like in
- 29:20a day, she's going on these like uncertified field trips.
- 29:24Hey, would you guys do today? Well, those Miss Miss Frizzle
- 29:27shrunk us down and we went inside George's body and he ate
- 29:31us and then he shit us out. Like I don't think at all.
- 29:35The most on, they lose their fans of some realistic part of
- 29:39Magic School Bus is that there's a classroom with only eight
- 29:42kids. That's true.
- 29:44That's, like, that's got to be like a Montessori school or
- 29:46something like that. The next level.
- 29:49I like a, I went to Montessori School.
- 29:53It's not just it was lit and I got kicked out.
- 29:55I was in Montessori School pre-k and they wouldn't let.
- 29:58They wouldn't let me go to first grade.
- 30:00They kicked me out and then I started going to get to Carol
- 30:03Elementary. No Cap do With send me to
- 30:05Johnson, that's where the bad kids would go to school.
- 30:07That was Senator Johnson. Elementary two girls, at my
- 30:10Pre-K honey trees what it was called.
- 30:13Chase me down and kissed me like against my will Why would a girl
- 30:20in? Hey, you know who went there
- 30:21with me? Whoo, you'll never guess this
- 30:24Billy that's wild dlw. There's and in California when
- 30:30we were in preschool, that's no. But that's believe.
- 30:33I'm fucking crazy. Yeah.
- 30:35But I mean, they didn't even know that until like way after
- 30:38the fact. Yeah, we were in the same.
- 30:40My class picture were like, what the hell?
- 30:43That's crazy. I know, that's pretty tripped
- 30:46up. The time machine or it with I
- 30:49want it to look like not the Delorean from Back to the Future
- 30:55but at the end of Back to the Future 3, whenever he's got that
- 30:59train to know. I'm talking, who's that?
- 31:01What are you talking about? I mean ever leaned back to the
- 31:04Future. Come on now.
- 31:06No, absolutely not. Ron and he's but he's on this.
- 31:20Train has this time machine train.
- 31:22That looks lit as fuck. It's like a full-blown train.
- 31:25I would want a time a time machine train, something like
- 31:28that, but what would it look like?
- 31:30I mean, maybe something like a little capsule pod or something
- 31:33like that. Like a Stargate with Kurt
- 31:36Russell. Like a portal.
- 31:38Yeah, maybe. But because I mean of times
- 31:41where's the portal coming from though?
- 31:43That's like what I do. It depends on how you, how you
- 31:46would view it. So if you if you think that all
- 31:48the time is continuous and it's happening all around us all at
- 31:51once. Then you would just be able to
- 31:53like go into another space of where that time from is taking
- 31:56place. So technically be waiting the
- 31:58portal. Well that's I mean I don't know
- 32:00if I could knew, that's what that's what I think.
- 32:02That's what the question is. Just like, wouldn't be doing
- 32:04this podcast now, I'm sucking do that, is it look like Let me
- 32:10something. I don't know what the portal
- 32:11would look like. Probably.
- 32:13I mean I'd hope it'd be something like I said, like the
- 32:15school bus, know what we did? That's if you could like if you
- 32:18if I had to pick something that I would want it to be like that
- 32:21would be dope but if it's a portal, it'd probably be
- 32:24something like Stargate but Stargate was like connected to a
- 32:27wormhole. So like we're with, you know,
- 32:30you go and you pop up in another spot which is the that Galaxy,
- 32:33that is what time travel is, right?
- 32:36Well, no, that was, yeah. I mean you would technically to
- 32:38go that Amount of distance in space you would have to you
- 32:41would essentially be almost time traveling.
- 32:43Right. To good there instantly because
- 32:45I think for instance, I think it should look like an old-school
- 32:49like ancient radio like my angel, the Old School radio or
- 32:53something. I don't wanna freak what movie
- 32:56frequency and I'm a dad, like, collects, like antique radios
- 33:01and stuff. I have access to like 15.
- 33:05It's all weird Flex I've got access to 15 Old.
- 33:09Is probably know who you're fucking with cash for my dad.
- 33:14You don't know who you're fucking with, Buddy.
- 33:17Listen, you son of a bitch. I got more radios than Cuba
- 33:20Gooding. Jr.
- 33:21I'll put I'll put the am 590 on right now and you got us into it
- 33:27frequency. That's actually a pretty good
- 33:29movie. Yeah, I mean or could be, it's
- 33:32maybe like the Great Glass Elevator from Willy Wonka, the
- 33:35end of Willy Wonka. Elevator is pretty.
- 33:38That's pretty legit, actually. No, I think about because they
- 33:40were talking about making an elevator to space and it was
- 33:43like, that sounds like a horrible idea.
- 33:46No, well, I don't know about horrible, but because I hate you
- 33:50doing. I'm claustrophobic again.
- 33:52Getting stuck in an elevator and it's like once you get enough
- 34:04it's like the gravity shifts. To where it's not pulling you
- 34:09down to the Earth, it's pulling you up and so you just shoot up
- 34:14and so that that's kind of the idea.
- 34:18I know it sounds terrible. Don't put me no, no way that
- 34:22sounds worse like that because so but that's what I mean, I
- 34:26don't know if you've read the Charlie and the Chocolate
- 34:28Factory books and Mama and Willy Wonka, and the Great Glass
- 34:31Elevator like the sequel. Good that like shit just keeps
- 34:34going like into space, like in like, when it ends in Nature's
- 34:38up. There's a destination.
- 34:40Hopefully, well, I mean, yeah, I like the books.
- 34:42There is, it's like someone else and and idea of like, this is
- 34:45like, literally, I don't know, man.
- 34:46People are trying to figure this out.
- 34:48Like a space elevator is what it's called, like Google it I
- 34:52know that just sounds like I don't know, that's just so high
- 34:55up, I don't know. There's so many different
- 34:57factors that you have to have a no-fly zone around the space
- 35:00elevator at what structural Integrity of that, would be
- 35:04interesting to see how they would like, complete that
- 35:07because that's going to be epically weird and to build.
- 35:10How can we think about like have you heard of the hyperloop?
- 35:14Yeah, I know the hyperloop. I mean he says the same same
- 35:16kind of Technology. But it's like you're using like
- 35:21the forces of gravity and nature on itself and so it's not like
- 35:27you're just like launching a rocket up, this elevator.
- 35:30It's like more like you're using like physics like to like Get up
- 35:38there to launch Brandon people into space in the membrane
- 35:42space, elevator. Y'all, that sounds terrible.
- 35:44But sounds like an awful. But you know what?
- 35:47I would you would you do it claustrophobic after
- 35:50claustrophobic? What else?
- 35:52Yeah, I kind of like it. Well, if there was a destination
- 35:56like I mean you have to establish the destination
- 35:58versus. I don't know how you get back
- 35:59from being on elevator to space. He's a safely.
- 36:03Exactly but like you much science going on for To trust
- 36:07it. That's like that's old thing.
- 36:08Like with flying well, that's why it doesn't exist right now.
- 36:11But like what I was realizing in like literally just earlier
- 36:15today, I was watching a fucking commercial and it was these kids
- 36:20going down in a inner to like, like a closed water slide.
- 36:28I mean, they're having a great time and I realized, like I had
- 36:30a great time going in. Like the black hole is with the
- 36:33girls and say, the black hole vehicle is go so fun and I was
- 36:37like, I was in really claustrophobic then so I think I
- 36:41could deal with like a space elevator.
- 36:44Yeah, I also think that we there as we get older we like we weigh
- 36:48the consequences so much more than we do when we're kids.
- 36:51So like if so, I mean that that applies to a lot of different
- 36:55things. So, You know, I can still kind
- 36:57of skateboard but I don't fuck around on my skateboard anymore.
- 37:00I've been broken my ankle yet but like there could be a day
- 37:03and it's probably going to be hopping on my skateboard and
- 37:06trying to do some stupid shit. You know, I'm about to like
- 37:09paddle out like and do like six foot waves like as a 35 year old
- 37:13like yeah. But that's but that's completely
- 37:15but that's totally different because it's way more gnarly it.
- 37:18Well yeah. But I mean I guess the
- 37:20consequences are different like yes you could drown and die
- 37:23which is like horrible. Yeah you could die riding a
- 37:25skateboard girl. So My elbow.
- 37:27Can you read? What?
- 37:28Yeah, people get hurt, man. You could go like you go.
- 37:31If you do really big, I guess. But like, you could rip like you
- 37:34could definitely get hurt. I don't know about my fault.
- 37:37I follow Hall of Meat on Instagram, and it's just, like,
- 37:39people that like guard skateboarding and BMXing and
- 37:42their crashes and Yemen people get hurt pretty quickly.
- 37:45Yeah. Her.
- 37:45I don't know about death. I want to break an arm or
- 37:48something that I wanna do that, is it okay?
- 37:52Yeah, therapy. Question number three.
- 37:56Old man. Huggy Why do humans?
- 38:01We're close. This is the stupid part, but no
- 38:06other species do. I mean, I don't know, I guess
- 38:15it's like the our self-awareness and our level of Consciousness
- 38:18and like with ourselves and our surroundings is made it in
- 38:22societies. Deemed it appropriate to wear
- 38:24clothes, I think people should wear clothes but you know, Well,
- 38:29so I think it was like, wearing clothes was like a form of like
- 38:34protection at first. And then humans being the
- 38:39creative things that we are. It's like, okay, we'll follow
- 38:43where this like what why not make it look like flashy or cool
- 38:48and then you just like evolved evolve the balls Yeah.
- 38:53I mean standing out and being an individual's important and
- 38:57peacocking. Yeah.
- 38:58Peacocking when an animal. Yeah.
- 39:01So I mean yeah that makes sense occur.
- 39:04I have red sash. You should love me more hype
- 39:07Shake because I mean things were so much more primitive back in
- 39:10earlier times and I probably was just like originally like a cup
- 39:14like for your balls so you don't like hurt your didn't hurt your
- 39:20dick and then it took a while, it took him a while to figure.
- 39:22That one I do. Yeah.
- 39:25I don't even know if they figured that out.
- 39:27But yeah. And then it's just like, yeah.
- 39:29Well if I'm gonna do this and what a bit, you know, and then I
- 39:34heard a man though created the bra.
- 39:37I believe that the Brazier the bro it's from Seinfeld.
- 39:43Yeah, I was mad. It's the man is the flying man
- 39:47to man, brassiere that George's. Dad comes up with, it's called
- 39:50the bro, it's like great. Yeah.
- 39:53Yeah I was just watching a Comedians in Cars with coffee
- 39:57like with Jerry Seinfeld like binging it well like working
- 40:00these licenses that I'm studying for for finance but um but yeah
- 40:07so I just think it was like protection at first and then
- 40:11humans are just humans and we just got flashy with it.
- 40:14Yeah. But the the second part of the
- 40:17question but no other species do it's like yeah, right?
- 40:21You fucking kidding. How would that man?
- 40:26That Mongoose looks great in those chinos over there and
- 40:29their fur and like they wouldn't be alive anyways like if they
- 40:33didn't have like their natural protections.
- 40:36Right? Yeah.
- 40:37Because they've a lot of them even like insects they'll evolve
- 40:39and have armor. Yeah.
- 40:40Like you said for extra layers of skin or fat.
- 40:43So I mean it's completely different.
- 40:45We're not we're not suited to like live with naturally like oh
- 40:51humans should live in Pika. So I natives that are from
- 40:54Alaska of like, learned, how to survive in that area, and, you
- 40:58know, whale blubber and like it's like yeah, I mean, I love
- 41:02is like polar bear fur. And I mean, I think that a lot
- 41:05the, you know, climate shifting throughout history in the
- 41:08migration of people is also had a lot to do with what they wear.
- 41:13What they don't wear you know Vikings would wear something
- 41:17completely different than say the Aztecs would wear but I mean
- 41:21you know that's a those Arkham. Lee different climate zones,
- 41:23like tundra-like cold as shit and out, like ICC Waters and the
- 41:28other ones in the jungles of like Mexico and South America.
- 41:31So it's, you know, it's completely different.
- 41:33That's like part of like the don't like how humans came up
- 41:37and to be like the head of the food chain.
- 41:39It's like it's like we're moving into like these different
- 41:42climates. Let me kill this animal that
- 41:45like survives in this climate and then take like they're
- 41:49they're like protection, which is like their fuck.
- 41:52Like literally if I can scan. Yeah, yeah.
- 41:55And then, but then, but then there's the tiger ourselves and
- 41:58then there's the Native Americans who like throwing up
- 42:00like feathers and stuff. And it's like, that's more of
- 42:03like an attractiveness thing. Like so there's like to like at
- 42:07least two like reasons to do it. Well, yeah, but also, when you
- 42:11think about comparing, you know, someone like something like the
- 42:15Aztecs or the mines or someone one of these established Native
- 42:19American like societies. To someone who's like, going out
- 42:24and boats in fighting with swords.
- 42:26I mean, it was like, you know what?
- 42:27They needed, they didn't need the same level of protection
- 42:30like they're, you know, they're, they're fine.
- 42:31But there was there was feathers in the native.
- 42:34Oh yeah, yeah, be there was a threat that they're like there's
- 42:36the Viking horns. Yeah.
- 42:38Yeah. There's definitely a lot of us
- 42:40don't think are beings and gold and yeah definitely some Flash
- 42:44and like luxury or aesthetically appealing and as actually the
- 42:49stuff we always do that. Yeah.
- 42:50And I've actually and I think that's goes beyond humans
- 42:53because I saw like some planet Earth shit or like a derivative
- 42:57of it and it was like this bird that goes and gets like like
- 43:02trash like from humans and then like builds like a nest and then
- 43:08other birds will come and try to swoop it and it's like to
- 43:11attract like like a female and so there's like trying to, like
- 43:16show off that they have this chair.
- 43:19Yeah. I've been battling these birds
- 43:24at work, the pigeons man, I got rid of them, right?
- 43:28I fucking got rid of them, pigeons are gone.
- 43:30I did, they went through this on top of this machine, and have
- 43:36removed had, like literally packed, off and tossed.
- 43:40All the spike strips. I put down that like, I don't
- 43:45know how they landed on them. I don't know how they like, did
- 43:48that, but they / 2 layers of spike strips.
- 43:52What do like started another? So I wouldn't do it.
- 43:54I would ham I got. I was there who I was there
- 43:57early. I had a ladder as your as your
- 43:59lawyer. Are you gonna do anything crazy?
- 44:01Did you know know but like they were starting to try to build
- 44:04another Nest. It's the same ones I got rid of
- 44:07like I'm never forget, these fucking pigeons, the dead look
- 44:10in their eyes. So then the morning I had to go
- 44:12and with the ladder and like clear this whole thing out and
- 44:16re Spike strip it and like like like bracket these things to the
- 44:20And these pigeons man, they're out of control.
- 44:22They're like super villains. Sorry that's they're pissing me
- 44:26off. And like I was like, oh my God,
- 44:28they're trying to build another nest because I got there and
- 44:30they like someone was sitting sitting down outside and they
- 44:35plucked one of them off and threw it.
- 44:37I like literally threw it off. It like landed on the ground.
- 44:40That's like huge Spike strip and This Woman's like, oh my God.
- 44:43It was, he's too fucking pigeons, man.
- 44:47That I don't know what to say about that.
- 44:48We gotta move on time and I'm just like frustrated, you know?
- 44:54I know I am too. Okay.
- 44:57So y'all We're going to go into like a little bit of a less
- 45:03funny list, humorous Zone. Joseph.
- 45:09You want to like lead us off on this or do you want me to?
- 45:12Yeah, I mean, I just say you know, if you're not interested
- 45:16in any type of conversation about some of the stuff that's
- 45:19happened recently in our country when it comes to just like some
- 45:23violence and stuff. I'd say, you know, maybe this
- 45:26isn't the episode for you, we appreciate always appreciate
- 45:29everyone listening. But, you know, we're going to
- 45:30talk about some sensitive topics.
- 45:33So just, you know, trigger warning, I guess, just, you
- 45:35know, give everyone a heads up, you know?
- 45:38Not every for everybody. And we're going to try to Beto
- 45:40be as respectful as possible of everyone's opinions.
- 45:43We're really just going to try to discuss some facts.
- 45:46You know, give our personal takes on a couple things but you
- 45:50know this is just some stuff that needs to be discussed and
- 45:52it's going to be a little bit more of a serious episode.
- 45:55So we, you know, hope you all understand the kind of tone
- 45:58change of, that makes sense. Yeah.
- 46:01Said, set it off. Yeah, well, you know, we just
- 46:05recently we didn't really talk about it before but before we
- 46:09get into the recent event, we had, you know, the awful act
- 46:14that happened in Buffalo recently where I wanted.
- 46:16Yeah, I wanted to say that because, you know, like, I feel
- 46:19like that's being overshadowed but yeah, go ahead, sorry.
- 46:23Um, you know, were person who we will not name, drove about 200
- 46:30miles. To go to a predominantly black
- 46:34neighborhood and went to a grocery store.
- 46:37And lat meanwhile was utilizing the same platform that we're on
- 46:42right now. One of them to stream and
- 46:45streamed, this horrific assault, where he went into a grocery
- 46:48store and, you know, took a bunch of innocent people lives
- 46:51while specifically targeting black people, you know, and
- 46:55released what 180 page, Manifesto, something insane
- 46:59about is robbing pay. They said that copy and pasted
- 47:03like that's the thing like eating have like sorry.
- 47:08No, no you're good. No I mean and you know so he
- 47:10released that he was arrested with he basically gave up.
- 47:16I mean there's video it's it's really crazy because it could be
- 47:21live-streamed, you know, a good 50 seconds, like two minutes,
- 47:26somewhere around there. Like it was less than two
- 47:28minutes. Wasn't a super long clip, but he
- 47:30like live-streamed it on the internet of him.
- 47:32Like, just pulling up a driving up to this place and then, you
- 47:36know, doing this horrific act and then he was arrested without
- 47:40any real incident. They cuffed him.
- 47:43How convenient, you know, any of, you know.
- 47:46I he's a white dude, and it's like with a gun in his hand and
- 47:50it's like there's like Mmm. Yeah.
- 47:54And that bothered me and I mean, you know, there's all sorts of
- 47:57speculation. But I mean, from what I
- 47:59understand, he was reported before that before this happened
- 48:07about making threats and I'm making threats about hurting,
- 48:09people was investigated and wasn't charged with anything and
- 48:13kind of just like shoot away. And then he so he went out and
- 48:16legally purchased his firearm and You know, carved a racial
- 48:21slur on one of the aim sites and went out and and I'd suggest do
- 48:26not look up this video. Do not watch it.
- 48:28I don't even think it exists, I think it's been scrubbed from
- 48:30the internet at this point. It hasn't well the if you watch
- 48:33that your that's yeah that you're the there's no the
- 48:38glorification of those actions. It makes no sense to me and then
- 48:41it's just been that's been a lot of.
- 48:45I feel like Lack of accountability.
- 48:48I mean and I don't it's not that even for me, we can get more
- 48:51into it. But, you know, just I don't
- 48:54think that this is a political issue.
- 48:55It shouldn't be a political issue.
- 48:57I feel like everyone kind of says that disingenuously, but I
- 49:00really don't think it should be. It's frustrating when we talk
- 49:03about like innocent people being like having their lives.
- 49:06It's a national issue. Yeah, it's a Nations and I
- 49:09supersymmetry specifically for the country that Joseph and I
- 49:13live in the United States of America.
- 49:15It's like this is odd. Be asleep like significantly
- 49:19different than every other country on the face of the
- 49:22fucking planet. Yeah, we suck ass.
- 49:26I mean what do you have to say about the Buffalo incident?
- 49:29I think it's insane. I mean that guy was a but the
- 49:34thing was 18 or 19 right there was 19.
- 49:36Yeah. And he scouted out that the
- 49:40grocery store ahead of time, couple months.
- 49:42And what I heard was That cell. He had a toothache.
- 49:48I'm not even fucking bullshitting.
- 49:49When I says, get a toothache, he went to the dentist and he said,
- 49:54the dentist didn't fix it and his little Manifesto and then
- 49:57the dentist was Jewish. And then he was all about this
- 50:00like replacement theories, that fucking Tucker Carlson out here
- 50:06on Fox News. Just like me Pete's.
- 50:09And he's talking about how the Jews are trying to replace white
- 50:13people with black people. and he was convinced of this shit and I
- 50:20think a big part of it is, he's like, you know, he's like a
- 50:25young person who's still a man. Stoner adult who has access to
- 50:32guns, but doesn't have access to like.
- 50:36And this is not any excuse whatsoever.
- 50:38Like, he just doesn't have acts like, he's an in cells, but they
- 50:43call it like, he's yeah. One Terry celibate.
- 50:45Like he doesn't like have like the social Sex with, you know,
- 50:52well, the well, that sucks like, yeah in cells are we've seen
- 50:55there's been an uptick in like it's basically, you know, people
- 50:59who feel like they don't get the attention that they deserve from
- 51:02girls or women, and they think that they without lots.
- 51:05A lot of them, some of them, a lack social skills, or normally
- 51:08Pro old like traditional like relationship roles or like
- 51:15gender roles, but there, but it's like to the extreme.
- 51:17Like they're, they're all about like that.
- 51:20Some of them will say like, oh, I don't think women should vote.
- 51:22It's like a very gross thing. It's like a lot of anger is
- 51:25associated with it, so it's like, they feel like they're
- 51:28involved, you know, insoles. Yeah.
- 51:29Involuntarily celebrates. I think that like, I think
- 51:31that's the most dangerous person in the world is a is like young
- 51:37white male who doesn't have any social life that has access to a
- 51:43gun like that? Well, I think that well and I've
- 51:45yeah I mean we can get more into it.
- 51:46Because, I mean, I I really feel like We're just the way that
- 51:51we've chose chosen to handle things as goofy as fuck to me.
- 51:55Like, you can't go buy cigarettes.
- 51:58All right, because they changed it.
- 51:59You can't buy Jewel Pods at 18, right?
- 52:02Well, yeah, that's tape. I see, Elvis estate by saying
- 52:05that's what the problem is, because this guy who didn't live
- 52:08in New York, right? Like he, yeah, he drove there.
- 52:11Yeah, so it's like, you have so it's like New York has really,
- 52:14really strict gun laws. However, he I think he came from
- 52:17Pennsylvania. I want to say, Where they don't
- 52:21have strict gun laws. And so, it's like you can in and
- 52:24it's just like people talk about, you know.
- 52:26Well, what about all the Chicago violence?
- 52:29You know, in Illinois. It's like, okay, well, Illinois
- 52:31and they have the strictest gun laws.
- 52:33Well, it's next to him, don't you don't know.
- 52:36Indiana doesn't. It doesn't have that.
- 52:39So you just go to Indiana. Go get yourself a fucking gun in
- 52:42the drive, across the border. Nobody stops you, you know, it's
- 52:45the same to shift in this case. It's fucked up.
- 52:48Yeah, well, because of the I mean, for, in my, in my opinion,
- 52:51because of the lack of gun laws in Indiana, and the surrounding
- 52:54states, that makes it to where, like, all the gun violence in
- 52:57Chicago is like all like reactionary.
- 53:01Like, you don't know that, like, that's why I was trying to
- 53:03explain to someone. I was like, you have a system
- 53:05set up to where it's easy for a felon to go.
- 53:09Walk into a gun show and buy a gun or by one privately without
- 53:13any checks and balances and he's a bit.
- 53:14Yeah. But he's, you know what?
- 53:15That makes him a criminal and it's like, yeah.
- 53:17But then you find out about it after the fact is that Laughter
- 53:20after he gets caught doing something with it or if he does
- 53:23that's when you know that that felon is broken, the law by
- 53:26having a Gun. There's no there's no real like
- 53:28the universal system setup and Earth set in place where you can
- 53:32catch that guy when he goes and tries to buy a fucking gun and I
- 53:36think it's crazy that you can't rent a.
- 53:38You can't rent a car until you're 25.
- 53:40So if you total your car at 19 that you pay for and you have
- 53:44the insurance for and you're trying to, I was talking to my
- 53:49sister about this. And if like if like I think it
- 53:53was her friends, like kids was like 19 kind of car wreck.
- 53:56The car was totaled and they couldn't get the rental car
- 53:59because they're not 25, they're like 19 or 20.
- 54:02So the mom had to take the rental car out because they
- 54:05weren't old enough to take out a rental car.
- 54:07But for that same person has been able to go buy a firearm
- 54:10for the past two years. And I mean, I was so impulsive.
- 54:13And so angry when I was 18, 19 that the fact that like I
- 54:18shouldn't I got I mean I just don't think that Like, I think
- 54:20if you're going to do at least anything, Universal checks, and
- 54:23I maybe like twenty one, put in a put age cap on it for when
- 54:28you're like Federal age cap, when you're like able to go out
- 54:31and purchase one and still go through Universal background
- 54:33checks. Because I mean, there's people
- 54:35like who are you just get domestic violence charges
- 54:39dropped off a dropped against them and then they go into
- 54:42Walmart and buy a gun two weeks later.
- 54:44Like, that guy shouldn't be able to go do that.
- 54:45That's like and we have a system where it's all its we all feel
- 54:48we're most remorseful, it's all Mine site.
- 54:51Everything's hindsight. Oh well we should like we should
- 54:53like we're not proactive. This is the one thing.
- 54:55We're not proactive it for proactive and taking away your,
- 54:58your choice of your choice of how Healthcare Healthcare
- 55:01options women. But not when it comes to this,
- 55:04but we're, you know, we're Progressive and making sure that
- 55:06we're going to cut taxes and make sure super rich people
- 55:09don't have to pay taxes because they're going to put that money
- 55:11back into the economy and free market, which is bullshit.
- 55:14They just hoard it constantly, but yeah, we will be proactive
- 55:19in that, but We won't be proactive in this topic.
- 55:22It makes no sense to me. It makes no sense to me that
- 55:24like that, the gun lobby has this much money to where they
- 55:28have a, like, a literal Stranglehold over.
- 55:32These politicians that won't do anything about it.
- 55:35Like I don't get it. It's like how do they have that
- 55:38much money? Like I feel like all these other
- 55:41Industries like the tech industry and all this other shit
- 55:44has way more money. Like why are you even talking to
- 55:46the gun lobby? Yeah, well, because the gun
- 55:49lobby, that's like, you know, the tobacco Lobby.
- 55:52That's like old-school, man. At the back.
- 55:55Like, we got slant, Ras, why I hate Easter?
- 55:57Because Charlton heston's, I you can pry it from my cold dead
- 56:00fingers, like, fuck Charlton, Heston.
- 56:02I want, you know, Ten Commandment bullshit.
- 56:05So I hate Easter, I hate Easter because of the NR a so can we
- 56:10get into Texas? Because well, yeah, but I mean,
- 56:13yeah, so within the Texas, I mean, Texas is just like a is
- 56:16such a mess. It starts, you know, Greg Abbott
- 56:20cut about two hundred million dollars from mental health,
- 56:24programs, and stuff like that. I was seeing, you know, the
- 56:28largest provider of mental health, like intervention and
- 56:34helping people is the prison in Harris County, Texas, damn,
- 56:39that's in the entire fucking country is the largest mental
- 56:43health provider in this country is the prison system.
- 56:47Well, that's it. State of Texas.
- 56:48Yeah. In the state of Texas.
- 56:50Yeah no I know. But other than that, just before
- 56:52this like that, that's what it is.
- 56:56That's like my that's baffling to me.
- 56:58So and then but then it supposedly a mental health issue
- 57:03but it's okay man. Like okay yes, I don't know if
- 57:10they would have caught him with the mental health stuff, the red
- 57:12flags, the background checks, I don't know, the fact that an 18
- 57:16year old on his 18th birthday, can go buy this gun is insanity
- 57:21and then but multiple magazines like, you know, like Garden of
- 57:26like War. It's like why is that him a
- 57:29fucking available? Why?
- 57:32My mom was just like asking she like like during like when we're
- 57:35trying to figure out like what was going on?
- 57:37She's like and she found out like what happened and she's
- 57:40like, well I don't she's like why does like a rifle have
- 57:44magazines? I'm like no, this is an assault
- 57:47rifle and she had no idea and she's like oh well that doesn't
- 57:51make sense. She's like like Hunters.
- 57:54Don't go out and like kill Lane. Animals with an assault rifle.
- 57:57I'm like, yeah, no shit. And she.
- 57:59Yeah, she's like so conditioned to where she's like trying to
- 58:03get like like the back of like when she doesn't own a gun, she
- 58:07never shot a gun, you know, my parents don't want to God, I
- 58:09don't want to get, you know, it's like but she's so
- 58:12conditioned to where it's like, well, like they, maybe they
- 58:14should have like be allowed to have this and then she would
- 58:17fight finds out what it is and she's like, well I don't think
- 58:20they should have that on Mikey. I know like I mean if we just
- 58:23have a mental health Crisis in this country.
- 58:27If you want to say that then, like, did I especially with
- 58:30every country guys, every country does.
- 58:32But I mean, we have, it were so disproportionately like Masjid
- 58:37like, yeah, just have these big issues with it, we refuse to
- 58:40take accountability for it. It doesn't matter.
- 58:41Like what side of the aisle you're on, it's the fact that if
- 58:44one innocent person is lost because of this and it can be
- 58:47avoided. Like if there was an age cap and
- 58:49you had to be 21 those two kids huppert legally went and
- 58:53purchased them wouldn't have had those abs Avenues to go do it.
- 58:56And if you incentivized it to her, if you illegally sold a
- 58:59minor, a firearm to her that private dealer, because there's
- 59:02a background, there's all these checks, if he's caught and known
- 59:05for doing that, that person would get in more trouble like
- 59:07and there'd be severe punishments for that person
- 59:10that's providing Firearms. Like that to a minor.
- 59:12They shouldn't be able to go. It wasn't a minor dude.
- 59:15No, but no. But no, what I'm saying is if
- 59:16you raise the age, if you raise the age cap to say like 21,
- 59:20let's say, you raise it to 21, the bass to that.
- 59:23We've seen those to the 18 and 19 year old would not have been
- 59:26able to go walk up to an academy or a Walmart or and Parkland.
- 59:32Duncan Piggly Wiggly or wherever and by one.
- 59:34Yeah. Okay.
- 59:36Like this really like really, really bothered me.
- 59:39Like, and I started crying when I found this out was when, you
- 59:44know, the big dick swinging motherfucking dues, and Texas
- 59:48rolled up in the school and there's 19 fucking officers in
- 59:53the hallway. They didn't do shit and they
- 59:57just sat there and let those kids are Yeah, I mean that's
- 1:00:03disgusting the real just, you know, we all like there's an
- 1:00:07issue with the response. There's there's issues like the
- 1:00:10lack of accountability across the board from like and they
- 1:00:13lied about it. Well, yeah, I mean, of course.
- 1:00:16I mean, of course, they're going to try to cover their asses man.
- 1:00:18Like I mean, and then that's they're going to try to not make
- 1:00:22it. Try to soften the blow and make
- 1:00:24it not look as bad. I mean, there's a lot of people
- 1:00:26who thought that would better did was distasteful there like
- 1:00:29that. I was all about it was all about
- 1:00:31that. I was like, yeah, the mayor
- 1:00:32called him a disgraceful piece of shit or some shit like that.
- 1:00:35It's like no dude. No like that's like he's like we
- 1:00:39need to configure to like word. It's the conversation was like,
- 1:00:45tiresome, what do we need to? Like, actually do something
- 1:00:47about it. There's been so many issues and
- 1:00:50there's so many just especially a young people were like you can
- 1:00:53make a permanent decision off of like a really irrational thought
- 1:00:57or make the do something. Like I was having This argument
- 1:01:00was like a Guns, Never Addy, escalator.
- 1:01:02The Leggett is I'm like, no, it's not, it's way more of a
- 1:01:05threat if you're just hanging out and someone walks in and
- 1:01:08they're got a rifle strapped around their back, but does it
- 1:01:11make you feel more comfortable in the 7-Eleven?
- 1:01:13You're everyone's like, well, why is that guy walking around
- 1:01:15with the gun? Like, it doesn't like it?
- 1:01:17Like, so, to give such a young people, easy access to such
- 1:01:22devastating weapons is just doesn't make any sense to me.
- 1:01:24Like, you're allowing these people to make horrible,
- 1:01:27permanent decisions in refusing to let, Like to step in and try
- 1:01:31to maybe provide and then like also like how are we going to
- 1:01:36complain about how? Like, we just went to a
- 1:01:39constitutional carry state where you don't even have to have a
- 1:01:42concealed carry gun hand license to carry a gun.
- 1:01:45So if that doesn't make me feel more safe, now, there's just
- 1:01:48like people who are untrained. At least whenever you have your
- 1:01:51CHL, you have to let go through a training course and those
- 1:01:54punishments are big like for y'all.
- 1:01:56Don't know that Texas like minute legal.
- 1:01:59Did not have a permit to open carry a weapon and I was going
- 1:02:04to ask you to that Meme. You posted.
- 1:02:08I don't know if you want to call him or not.
- 1:02:09But well the other love with the teacher and like oh yeah all the
- 1:02:14baggage. Yes Angel.
- 1:02:15Yeah, that was intense. Yeah, my mom's a teacher.
- 1:02:19So, you know, I mean I'm glad my mom is retired.
- 1:02:22I was glad she retired when she did she, you know, put in over
- 1:02:2535 years in the game. I'm a hustler and a half but you
- 1:02:29know, The stress is huge and it doesn't like no other like, all
- 1:02:31we should have teachers care. I'm like no, like everyone, just
- 1:02:33stop, Larry guns, don't play with them.
- 1:02:36Like yeah, like worry about covid, like all, like, all that
- 1:02:39shit's. Oh my God, like, I mean, you
- 1:02:41know, I don't, I feel like people teachers are going to be
- 1:02:45leaving, like there's a lack of safety for them.
- 1:02:49And there's a lack of obviously, you no consideration for them
- 1:02:53and the workloads that they have to do and how much effort it
- 1:02:56takes, and they're highly criticized constantly.
- 1:02:59Of, there's a more scrutinized job in the world right now than
- 1:03:02being a teacher and a teacher is something like I know you give
- 1:03:05me flat because I talked about Angela boo.
- 1:03:08Talk about these other people but those are teachers that have
- 1:03:10a huge impact in my life, who, like, I still talk to like I If
- 1:03:14you know, have been there for me, after I left there class,
- 1:03:18when I was having issues and I was like a sophomore family
- 1:03:21issues at home, I could go, talk, go to go, roll up to
- 1:03:23Durham and go talk to my fifth grade teacher.
- 1:03:26Because, you know, like she's just the G like that.
- 1:03:29And She understood me like these are some of the most important
- 1:03:32and impactful people in my life and it's so it's really I be I
- 1:03:35posted that I saw that artwork and it really like made me
- 1:03:38frustrated because it's like that's totally what they're all
- 1:03:41dealing with and it's just the complete disregard for them.
- 1:03:44And then, you know, in the process, they're, you know, I'm
- 1:03:48there, they're in some ways, you know, like, we you see teachers
- 1:03:51put their lives on the line protecting other people's kids
- 1:03:54and like I mean not to speculate but I mean, I doubt every
- 1:03:57teacher I'm sure. A lot of teachers who've been in
- 1:04:00bad situations, don't have felt a lack of appreciation like, you
- 1:04:04know, the, the, the there, so criticized.
- 1:04:08And again, it's just dumb moron. The solution is to put more on
- 1:04:11their plate. I know and these cops can't even
- 1:04:14go into the classroom but you want this teacher to shoot like
- 1:04:16get the fuck out of my face. Yeah, no I mean that's just not.
- 1:04:20I mean that's it just doesn't make sense.
- 1:04:22There's like I said and we have, you know, politicians that are
- 1:04:24just completely in the pockets of the gun lobby and they have
- 1:04:27been for forever. Like Ted Cruz is Just an awful
- 1:04:30person. I can't stand him.
- 1:04:31He's so disingenuous. And so, just full of it.
- 1:04:35It's so frustrating. He's always been that way.
- 1:04:38I don't understand like the fan base for like him and then like,
- 1:04:43Dan Patrick is awful. Our lieutenant governor.
- 1:04:45We have all these guys that are just embroiled in, like, ethics
- 1:04:48candles, and all sorts of like insider trading bullshit.
- 1:04:53I mean, I live in Texas, I'm like, Amer selling.
- 1:04:55I'm just surrounded in this shit right now.
- 1:04:57Surrounded, by all these correct.
- 1:04:59All three kids I can that fucking State like this.
- 1:05:03It's wild to me and then like, you know, these are these are
- 1:05:06the moral compasses that our state chooses to make these
- 1:05:09decisions for us. Like these guys are like my
- 1:05:12naughty, they save the babies, save the fetuses, but don't save
- 1:05:16the kids who are in the fucking classroom while there's a
- 1:05:19goddamn Master. It's Insanity.
- 1:05:21Yeah. It's just it's well and like I
- 1:05:24said, like there's not a focus on Mental Health, especially for
- 1:05:28some of these younger. Our kids and there's like, they
- 1:05:30turn a blind eye to it. Well, you know, some of these in
- 1:05:32cell communities have done some. Some of these guys have done,
- 1:05:35lots of other things that have been horrible and have decided
- 1:05:37to use violence as their tool to get their point across.
- 1:05:40I watched this very interesting Vice documentary where they talk
- 1:05:43about like why they like that's the why that's the route.
- 1:05:47Like everybody takes different routes but like you know there's
- 1:05:51a there's a with these certain groups there's like they want to
- 1:05:54punish people in like get their sort of like pound of Flesh and
- 1:05:58use that as a way. To have their life taken by
- 1:06:00someone else rather than doing it themselves.
- 1:06:03So like they'd rather hurt, a heard a bunch of other people
- 1:06:05than just like inflict harm on themselves, they choose to.
- 1:06:08They're so angry at everyone that that's why they want to do
- 1:06:11it. So it's almost like they do
- 1:06:12something horrible to force. Somebody else to do it for them.
- 1:06:15It was like a, it was very, it was very interesting.
- 1:06:18Documentary is really 45 minutes long.
- 1:06:21I'm not gonna like, like this sounds fucked up, and I might
- 1:06:24make even more angry. This guy said in his Manifesto,
- 1:06:29That if he finally decided to do what he did.
- 1:06:35Because not kidding. His toothache.
- 1:06:39He said, at least when I go to prison, I'll get dental care.
- 1:06:44Well, and that's a whole nother. That how disgusting is that?
- 1:06:47Well, that's and that's a, that's a huge problem, I
- 1:06:49understand. But I'm saying like, I'm just
- 1:06:53saying there's people who insane to me more.
- 1:06:56And that's, I mean, and this is, you know, I'm not I'm not, I did
- 1:06:59a podcast with a toothache, I'm definitely more.
- 1:07:02Like, left-leaning, I feel like, that's pretty apparent that I am
- 1:07:06like, right? But I would say the like, I
- 1:07:08don't, Like I would have voted for.
- 1:07:13There's there's Republicans I would have voted for over Joe
- 1:07:16Biden, Who would know, know, like there are.
- 1:07:17But they were like outliers and people that they're like, oh,
- 1:07:19screw that guy. But that's, but I'm just saying,
- 1:07:22like, and it's the same with whatever is Trump and Hillary,
- 1:07:25Hillary wasn't my first choice. I probably wouldn't have voted
- 1:07:27for Hillary. If I might, I did.
- 1:07:29But I didn't, I, I could I didn't like Trump that much.
- 1:07:32But what I'm, I guess. There's, there's a lack of
- 1:07:40accountability and want to intervene and give these people
- 1:07:42actual mental health reform. And there's, it's in whatever.
- 1:07:46Why do you think that is? I do that.
- 1:07:49That's what I don't understand. Is like, we talked about this
- 1:07:52issue, where it's like, oh, it's all about mental health mental,
- 1:07:54health mental health. But then there's like a lack,
- 1:07:56we've seen slashing in that we've seen the rejection of
- 1:07:59Universal Health Care, you know, there's people who might want to
- 1:08:02go who have health insurance, but don't have coverage for that
- 1:08:05sort of stuff like and, you know, the younger we get
- 1:08:10together, we get oh you always give me shit, the younger, the
- 1:08:12younger you get on a timeline. When you go back and you look at
- 1:08:15younger ages, it's like the mental health issues are A
- 1:08:18little bit more more prevalent, they have more anxiety issues,
- 1:08:21they have more insecurities about stuff and I think it just
- 1:08:23gets worse and worse and worse and it's compounding and then
- 1:08:26we're not like really addressing the issue at all.
- 1:08:28But what do you think that is? That's what I want to find out
- 1:08:31is like why? Like it's not like helpful to
- 1:08:34anybody, I don't care what like part of the spectrum of like
- 1:08:37politics. You're on, it's not helpful.
- 1:08:41I mean, yeah. I'm in not address the issues
- 1:08:43like what is stopping people. Well, I think that it's
- 1:08:47Kickbacks and getting money and wanting to make sure that
- 1:08:49they're getting what they want. That's, you know, I was having
- 1:08:52an argument with someone about like, say, Ron, DeSantis in
- 1:08:55Florida, who I think's a lunatic and I was telling him.
- 1:08:59I was like, look, you know, Rhonda Santa's you can and its
- 1:09:03people wanting the outcome that they want and they don't care
- 1:09:07how they get there and that's what's really interesting, and
- 1:09:10That's like the conversations I've been having with them
- 1:09:12because I was like look, Rhonda scientist is doing like
- 1:09:15authoritarian style shit, that's totally not cool.
- 1:09:18Like like I was like he's using his political power to punish a
- 1:09:22company who used their free speech to speak out about
- 1:09:25something that they didn't like. And then he ripped away their
- 1:09:28special tax exempt. Status is just like fucking with
- 1:09:31Disney constantly because he didn't like what they said.
- 1:09:34I was like and that's totally out of bounds music.
- 1:09:36Why I agree. And I was like so but you but
- 1:09:39you I was like but you're With it because you like what he
- 1:09:43said. So you don't give a shit about
- 1:09:45the tactics that are used as long as you get the outcome that
- 1:09:48you want. So some of these politicians
- 1:09:50they want to get their votes. They want to hold their
- 1:09:52districts, this is exactly why you have to have term limits on
- 1:09:57even state legislators and everything.
- 1:09:59Like, well, you have to have, you can't just have Senators
- 1:10:02sitting there like Orrin Hatch. Being representing Utah for like
- 1:10:0555 years. That guy was fucking crazy at
- 1:10:08the end. All right.
- 1:10:09P, cuz yeah, Yeah, he passed away recently because a crazy
- 1:10:12piece of shit and he was like fucking shit up up until like 2
- 1:10:17years ago until he decided to leave.
- 1:10:19And there's no way that guy's like speaking for a majority,
- 1:10:22his death, his demographics have changed so much and they've
- 1:10:25gerrymandered and redlined his district, so much to move it to
- 1:10:28where he keeps getting re-elected, but that doesn't
- 1:10:31like that. 65 year old Mormon, man.
- 1:10:33It's like, not that MJ am angry. He's a senator and it was Utah
- 1:10:38and the demographics. Hell, yeah.
- 1:10:40That's One more won't know what me, 8U, X.
- 1:10:43Pretty big boy, I'm saying is in like people who I know exactly
- 1:10:47where said, I totally get it was just maybe or no, maybe not one.
- 1:10:50Hash what? Like totally almost every single
- 1:10:52bitch. Yeah yeah but there's it it's
- 1:10:57like Mitt Romney's act when he was running against Barack
- 1:11:03Obama. Now, I vote for Mitt Romney in a
- 1:11:07fucking second over. Trump, like, are you kidding me?
- 1:11:12So it's like, it's like we haven't changed.
- 1:11:14It's like one party has changed dramatically and it is roasted
- 1:11:22well, I think there are there, they want more.
- 1:11:24They want votes. Like more people are voting and
- 1:11:27historically and heavily are popular dense, populated areas.
- 1:11:30Those areas are normally more liberal so they got to prevent
- 1:11:33them from voting. So The oldest of the, yeah,
- 1:11:35they're exactly. Take the money from the fucking
- 1:11:38guy wherever they were ever there can.
- 1:11:39And that's why I, like, I've said, you know, I'm not as they
- 1:11:44it's hard to say because the party is not the same as it was
- 1:11:47before, and it was fucking crazy before it was crazy before.
- 1:11:51Without, like I said, there's a lack of accountability.
- 1:11:53Like you /, 200 million dollars for mental health funding in
- 1:11:57this state. You don't get to sit up there
- 1:11:59and talk about how it's a mental health issue.
- 1:12:01You're an opera. Yeah, it's not ever going every
- 1:12:03country. Deals with.
- 1:12:04No, I know you're saying. I'm just trying to just
- 1:12:07reiterate every country, does the mental health issues but
- 1:12:11there's one country that's not like the others when it comes to
- 1:12:15gun violence. And I like to be, I don't want,
- 1:12:20I don't want, I don't want, I don't want to shut down like the
- 1:12:23conversation. I just feel like we should have
- 1:12:27enough just like, leave it at this.
- 1:12:28Like if you're cool with that and medium or sake, I'm no, I
- 1:12:32mean I'm here to listen. I just don't want to go down
- 1:12:36like a rabbit hole. It's just like it.
- 1:12:38No, I don't really know Anderson.
- 1:12:40Now, I know it does. I mean, and that's why I'm
- 1:12:42trying to like I know like I know it really bothers you man
- 1:12:45and bothers the shit out of me too.
- 1:12:46And I've lived down here, you know, you know, we grew up here
- 1:12:51so it's just like frustrating. That's all I'm saying is that,
- 1:12:54you know, the hip, The Hip Hop crasy about what it is because
- 1:12:57it's that's not what the main issue is.
- 1:12:59You could say that's a part of the problem, but that's not the
- 1:13:01only problem. And the, you know, To say that
- 1:13:06if that's your choice and you say, no, this is the only
- 1:13:09problem. Well, you've done nothing but be
- 1:13:13proactive in slashing that shit and making sure that we're not
- 1:13:17making Headway in that. If so if that's the problem
- 1:13:19you're doing the polar opposite answers like yeah, like yeah,
- 1:13:22you're my toaster into you're like calling a timeout for how I
- 1:13:28used to work with way back in the day.
- 1:13:30Idiot. He was a fucking idiot because
- 1:13:33he would sit there and complain about his Crohn's disease.
- 1:13:35All the fucking time and I'd watch this Duty like Bowls of
- 1:13:40ice cream in like six pieces of red velvet cake, had the worst
- 1:13:44diet you've ever seen and would call in sick all the time and
- 1:13:47blame it on his Crohn's disease. And I get it, bro, you got
- 1:13:50Crohn's but you're not pro at you like you're not doing
- 1:13:52anything to help yourself like. So you're just like, it's your
- 1:13:55own fault. Like I can own, my sympathy can
- 1:13:57only go so far, you know, and we're not sitting here being
- 1:14:02proactive about it. So what they're claiming the
- 1:14:04issue is they've done nothing but be regressive.
- 1:14:08In the policies, they've put in put forth to address these
- 1:14:12fucking issues so you don't get to use that card.
- 1:14:15That's bullshit. You're full of shit.
- 1:14:17Yeah. How convenient how convenient
- 1:14:19that? That's what the, that's what
- 1:14:21you're fucking issue is now and I think this is what they want
- 1:14:24us to do is like argue about that instead of like the real
- 1:14:27issue. Well know exactly.
- 1:14:29But I think about it Downs in this country.
- 1:14:31But that's also what, you know, why would that do go in there
- 1:14:34and calling them out and then what he said afterwards and like
- 1:14:36the, you know, I was telling someone like that.
- 1:14:38Why the families of the victims have been meeting with Beto and
- 1:14:41not a bit? There's like, then that should
- 1:14:45be extremely telling of like how those, how those people directly
- 1:14:48impacted by that horrific act, that happened in Uvalde.
- 1:14:52Those parents are meeting with Beto, while Ted Cruz and
- 1:14:55everyone else's out, gallivanting whatever bullshit
- 1:14:58there, dude. So, Ted Cruz is that fucking NRA
- 1:15:02convention that they later. Yeah.
- 1:15:04And you like the intent in the state.
- 1:15:06Yeah. It's just it's so mind-blowing.
- 1:15:08Going and you know the it's not it shouldn't be a political
- 1:15:12issue. This is an issue that the
- 1:15:14world's having, you know Canada just address it what they freeze
- 1:15:17doll, handgun, sales and transactions.
- 1:15:20And like there's they're cracking down on smuggling
- 1:15:22they've essentially they've essentially put a put a
- 1:15:26permanent freeze on selling handguns so they're not taking
- 1:15:29them if you have them and that's the whole thing is the whole
- 1:15:33criminals are going to criminal is not an excuse now.
- 1:15:37It's not even birth. No, Because that's that's it
- 1:15:39then okay. Well people are just gonna drink
- 1:15:41and drive so we just don't need drinking and driving laws
- 1:15:44because people are just gonna do it.
- 1:15:45No, like there needs to be some sort of punishment needs to be
- 1:15:48some sort of some sort of checks and balances, where if you go
- 1:15:51out and you sell some because I think at least 21 should be the
- 1:15:55minimum. So if it's 21, if you sell some
- 1:15:5620 year old kid, a handgun. The you you should fucking get a
- 1:16:00felony for that because that should be against the law.
- 1:16:03It's a no-brainer for me. We don't let them buy Jewel
- 1:16:06pods. You don't let them write cars.
- 1:16:07The only thing you Can do when you turn 18 in this country is
- 1:16:10vote. Open up a bank account, without
- 1:16:12your parents get a credit card in your name, without your
- 1:16:15parent with because you have your own credit and buy a
- 1:16:17fucking gun. Let's it and go to war the
- 1:16:20that's when go to war but even then but when you go to war
- 1:16:23there's mint there you do mental health, evaluations physical
- 1:16:26test, go through training your supervised.
- 1:16:29Yeah not and there's a so it's completely different because you
- 1:16:33can get rejected and I had this argument with somebody the other
- 1:16:36day man like the qualifications for.
- 1:16:38Join the military now or so much higher than like, when we left
- 1:16:41school, they wanted to send kids off to Iraq.
- 1:16:43And Afghanistan, didn't give two shits High School.
- 1:16:45No, high school. You can sign up.
- 1:16:47And you're, you know, you're not pigeon-toed.
- 1:16:49You can get out there and go fucking serve your country.
- 1:16:52That's when we were graduating. Yeah.
- 1:16:53Now, now, if you don't have a diploma, you like, they're not
- 1:16:56even in consideration, man. Because that fluctuates they
- 1:16:59change that but it's the supply and demand we need more
- 1:17:02soldiers. So we'll offer geds and then
- 1:17:04give them GI bills if they come in, whether they have high
- 1:17:07school or not. It will make them get their GED
- 1:17:09during basic. So that's more.
- 1:17:12That's what that, but that, but that's smart, right?
- 1:17:14Because they're creating opportunities.
- 1:17:15So that's the reason why some people who are making really bad
- 1:17:18decisions when we were kids and it up doing, okay?
- 1:17:21And then it up coming out better because they went into the
- 1:17:23military, they join they were forced to get their GED.
- 1:17:26Then they got a bunch of money. They got their g.i. bill, they
- 1:17:28came back and went to college. They wouldn't have done that.
- 1:17:31Had it not been for that opportunity so they but now they
- 1:17:34don't need as many. So they raise the bar and then
- 1:17:36the lower the bar and they raised, but there's still
- 1:17:38Fucking bar and the bar for mental health is, that's
- 1:17:42irrefutable. You can't.
- 1:17:43There's movies about that. Like Full Metal Jacket.
- 1:17:46You like, they don't let Chris super crazy people in the
- 1:17:48fucking military. If you do, you get dishonorably
- 1:17:51discharged and that can keep you from getting a job at Subway, 10
- 1:17:54years from now. So to compare being 18 and going
- 1:17:57to Academy and then you know, joining the military is
- 1:18:00completely different. That's not even.
- 1:18:02That's, that's not even apples and oranges.
- 1:18:04Those aren't even but those aren't both fucking fruit.
- 1:18:06Yeah. It's like, you know, like that's
- 1:18:08and And so when I hear that argument, it's so frustrating
- 1:18:10because it's so disingenuous. That's such bullshit.
- 1:18:13You're disregarding all the checks and balances that we have
- 1:18:16and to get the as you have checks and balances for that.
- 1:18:19We don't have for like someone just to buy that exact same
- 1:18:23weapon that you're training somebody for years to let me
- 1:18:27handle like you just go buy it like on your 18th birthday.
- 1:18:30Yeah, on the streets. Yeah, you show up.
- 1:18:32You choke to the army with your own gun.
- 1:18:34You show up to the police force, you show up to the police force
- 1:18:37with your own gun. And they Wave the whole gun gun
- 1:18:40training portion of Cadet training.
- 1:18:41I got well, don't worry about it.
- 1:18:42Oh yeah. Yeah, you could just sign up for
- 1:18:44the SWAT team. They'd be a Craigslist ad for
- 1:18:46it. Fuck the training don't need
- 1:18:48that like, that doesn't make any sense like 22 and even to get
- 1:18:51higher up and become an officer or a first class private or
- 1:18:56anything to, to be a sergeant of NP.
- 1:18:58My military please, there is so many qualifications and things
- 1:19:01you have to do, just to advance and not just be a grunt and a
- 1:19:05scrub for forever. Anything that any soldiers are
- 1:19:08Scrubs. I don't mean that know that even
- 1:19:09when they go through this club, yeah, she's there still like the
- 1:19:12bad, you know, not to bring it back to the fruit but bad
- 1:19:14apples. Like, you know, it's like you so
- 1:19:18the fact that you don't have like to go through those
- 1:19:20qualifications. Of course it's going to be a
- 1:19:22chef. There's a kid that there's I do
- 1:19:24you know, I've had a couple kids that have worked for me who
- 1:19:26wanted to join the military and they need whatever letters of
- 1:19:29recommendation because one of them have like ADHD and I'd like
- 1:19:33something else and was dyslexic and like me to the letter or
- 1:19:35recommendation from three people to join the Army.
- 1:19:39Because because because he is ADHD and that's it.
- 1:19:41Sorry it's just you know I know I know I just want to like just
- 1:19:45help ourselves I like and who it's an intense subject.
- 1:19:49It fucking bums me out. I know about him is just about
- 1:19:52he's out there like we're out here and, you know, appreciate
- 1:19:56the audience for listening as we like to do.
- 1:19:59Let's send it on something positive and that is your
- 1:20:02Boston. Celtics going to the finals.
- 1:20:04Yeah, baby. Shout out Golden State Warriors.
- 1:20:08He's out here going there. Let's go, let's go, yeah, go, I
- 1:20:13feel and you'll get this but I feel like, you know, I have an
- 1:20:17ex-girlfriend who sucks ass and she is from, she's from that
- 1:20:21area, and she was like, always, she's a huge Warriors.
- 1:20:25Fan was always talking shit. Hey, everyone and I really want,
- 1:20:30I mean, honestly, Golden State's great and I've always I think I
- 1:20:33was rooting for him at the same time.
- 1:20:34This was years ago and, you know, they're really good.
- 1:20:37I really want to beat him. I think we have a chance to beat
- 1:20:39them but I think we're one of the best defensive teams that
- 1:20:42we've ever seen in NBA history. They were first place in every
- 1:20:46single first and every single statistical defensive category
- 1:20:50and every single player on our starting five, I've got at least
- 1:20:53one vote for defensive player of the year and we have the
- 1:20:56defensive player of the year. So I think we got a chance.
- 1:20:59I think we I think, if I think you could you maybe could see
- 1:21:01adjacent a time take over? I like the bodies.
- 1:21:04We can throw at people think we're going to make stuff work
- 1:21:07like Jalen. John's going to have a big think
- 1:21:09of Jalen Brown averages 25 to like 25 to 34 this series.
- 1:21:14I think if he goes off like that I think we win because I think
- 1:21:17that he'll they can keep up with Stefan defense.
- 1:21:20So I'm not worried about us playing defense.
- 1:21:22I like our chances Well, I'm gonna put the thousand dollars
- 1:21:26that I owe you on the line and I don't know.
- 1:21:29I'm picking it up but I have till Thursday and your boy
- 1:21:33Marcus Smart. Yes, you're gonna, you're gonna
- 1:21:35take the money. You owe me the best.
- 1:21:38I'm just getting, I'm not going to pet a thousand dollars on
- 1:21:41this, especially because I can't even figure out who I think is
- 1:21:43going to win right now. But no.
- 1:21:46All right. I've just making it but no.
- 1:21:49I am gonna throw some cash on this but I just don't know for
- 1:21:52who yet and marke. Marcus Smart Marcus Smart.
- 1:21:55As you just said, he has multiple leg injuries, so him
- 1:22:00trying to trying to do the cover.
- 1:22:02Steph like might be a little bit difficult.
- 1:22:04Yeah, but it's a team effort, man.
- 1:22:06I mean, because we got like white, so white, our backup
- 1:22:08point guard. He's big like, we're tall, man,
- 1:22:10we're tall, and long, but they're really good.
- 1:22:12And I think that Robin Williams Beth Wiggins asked the loony.
- 1:22:16Does it really going to be the X Factor's if they could have?
- 1:22:18Yeah, but if they go off together, Looney gets eaten up,
- 1:22:21Luna gets eaten up by Ice. William.
- 1:22:24That's your to yeah, yeah, yeah, he gets eaten up by was I'm
- 1:22:28saying than Al Horford. Come on, dude.
- 1:22:29Al Horford is going to all her friends if you want.
- 1:22:32Anyway, this is his first Finals appearance, 140, playoff games,
- 1:22:40longest longest. He has the record for player to
- 1:22:43go most playoff games without ever making a final Central
- 1:22:47right now. I mean, he's for, I mean, for me
- 1:22:49then he's our age. No, he's no doubt, he's a no
- 1:22:52doubt Hall of Famer for sure. Sure, my will see if, you know,
- 1:22:55I've definitely gets torched. Think about he was a
- 1:22:57back-to-back. NCAA basketball champs.
- 1:23:01Oh, well, everybody in the NBA Gets In the Hall of Fame.
- 1:23:03It's like everybody in baseball, gets drafted because he played
- 1:23:06on one of the greatest college basketball teams of all time.
- 1:23:09So, I mean, I would love to see Al Horford win it.
- 1:23:11I like our chances. It feels really good.
- 1:23:13I keep my mouth shut about bass. How about this?
- 1:23:15Just shout out. You know for the Warriors South
- 1:23:19Texas, keep it positive. And you know, we'll have an
- 1:23:22update in a week. Yeah.
- 1:23:23Yeah. As you know, stay positive X
- 1:23:26things have been rough right now but take care of yourselves.
- 1:23:29Check on the people you care about, you know, try to enjoy
- 1:23:31your life. Be positive.
- 1:23:33Surround yourself with positive people.
- 1:23:35Do, you know, do whatever you take, do whatever it takes to
- 1:23:37make sure that your, you know, finding that balance in your
- 1:23:39life and y'all just, you know, make sure you guys go out and
- 1:23:42vote. That's if you're really
- 1:23:44passionate about this and you want shit to change, we got to
- 1:23:46go out and vote. So I mean, that's all I can
- 1:23:48really say. But, you know, we love you guys.
- 1:23:50I'm not going to say what I normally say.
- 1:23:53You guys, give you the Past I give you the test.
