- 1:23Speaker 6: kind of rude of you.
- 1:26Speaker 4: Well, I got a bad memory.
- 1:27Speaker 7: We all know he doesn't remember his teammates.
- 1:30Speaker 4: Oh that's so true. That is so true. He remembers the.
- 1:36Speaker 7: You know, he only remembers Aaron.
- 1:39Speaker 4: Aaron, my own teammate. It's weird what's happening.
- 1:44Speaker 5: Because I was in Buffalo for two and a half weeks.
- 1:47Speaker 5: I didn't remember random Safety. I know who was it?
- 1:50Speaker 4: When he's a coach somewhere, I still don't remember. I know.
- 1:56Speaker 6: Taylor's calling right now, that ringing it right now and whatever.
- 2:02Speaker 6: He was like, it was vacation location he's in.
- 2:06Speaker 5: So you're making fun of me for not remembering the guy,
- 2:08Speaker 5: but you're not remembering it right now.
- 2:09Speaker 4: It was also it was your teammate, not mine. It
- 2:13Speaker 4: sounds like it, Alandra.
- 2:14Speaker 6: Did you see the Big Jay journalist Matt Flynn at
- 2:18Speaker 6: the press conference?
- 2:19Speaker 7: Yester, I did see him.
- 2:21Speaker 4: I was on the list on the media.
- 2:22Speaker 7: You were on the list on the list. Why do
- 2:25Speaker 7: you have to be on the list.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Just walk in? He didn't.
- 2:30Speaker 7: I'll let you in next print.
- 2:32Speaker 4: Yeah, oh yeah, you never think, yeah, we'll get you. Well,
- 2:37Speaker 4: get you there.
- 2:37Speaker 8: Yeah, I saw Matt. I felt bad because you dap
- 2:40Speaker 8: me up. But I feel like I kind of I.
- 2:43Speaker 7: Ignored you a little bit. Oh, I was doing Matt's
- 2:46Speaker 7: I was doing a f R.
- 2:48Speaker 4: This was on a commercial break.
- 2:50Speaker 7: Well, then Cobble comes over and starts messing with my set.
- 2:52Speaker 5: I feel like we had to talk this through. It's fine,
- 2:55Speaker 5: it really is. I was getting coffee. Yeah, chaotic, it
- 2:58Speaker 5: was chaotic.
- 2:59Speaker 4: Every every husband knows what it's fine means.
- 3:03Speaker 5: It's totally fine. Uh, yeah, it was. I was there
- 3:08Speaker 5: press conference. Big time media dude. Uh, big time media dude,
- 3:14Speaker 5: told you big j Jo.
- 3:15Speaker 7: You didn't even ask any questions because.
- 3:16Speaker 5: I was the only person without a jacket on suit jacket.
- 3:20Speaker 5: I had my gray hoodie on, and everybody will walk
- 3:23Speaker 5: past me was suited and booted. I'm in my Louizy
- 3:26Speaker 5: animal shirt. It was all the big wigs at l
- 3:29Speaker 5: s U making decisions. Everybody excited in their suits and
- 3:34Speaker 5: their best purple blazers. Well sorry, backwards cap grey hoodie.
- 3:40Speaker 5: Whoopsies know thyself, you know, know that self, know thself?
- 3:44Speaker 5: I know I was. I was down.
- 3:48Speaker 6: A couple of floors kind of waiting on everything to
- 3:50Speaker 6: get started, and literally was the only person not in
- 3:53Speaker 6: the suit down there, oh boy.
- 3:55Speaker 8: Because they all went down there to go look around, right, yeah.
- 3:58Speaker 5: They were on a fourth on the brand. Yeah who
- 4:02Speaker 5: is down there? All the people you just said okay, yeah, yeah, decision.
- 4:08Speaker 8: And like Lane was down there because Matt was on air,
- 4:13Speaker 8: so I was on the I was on Lane.
- 4:15Speaker 7: I was on the.
- 4:16Speaker 8: Lookout so that he could be like, oh we're about
- 4:19Speaker 8: to go to the press conference, we can throw to it.
- 4:22Speaker 7: And somebody that looks like Lane came up. Boy, same build,
- 4:27Speaker 7: and I was like, Matt was like, you go see
- 4:29Speaker 7: if that was him, and I was like, yeah, it's him.
- 4:32Speaker 8: And then I was like just kidding, I lie.
- 4:35Speaker 7: And then I didn't have my glasses on so I
- 4:37Speaker 7: couldn't see.
- 4:38Speaker 6: Yeah, he was. Everyone was chatting. He was creuting apparently,
- 4:41Speaker 6: and was a little late.
- 4:42Speaker 4: Every were kind of chatting, and every the crowd went silent.
- 4:45Speaker 5: Yeah, I think as you're talking, kind of like the
- 4:47Speaker 5: same bill, Like Gordon mccerney walked in, went silent.
- 4:51Speaker 4: And I was like, wow, godfather, gordfather. But yeah, Lane was.
- 4:56Speaker 4: I was sitting there. I was like, is every press
- 4:58Speaker 4: conference like this?
- 4:58Speaker 5: I'm sitting there. It's like three forty three, forty five,
- 5:01Speaker 5: three fifty comes around. I'm looking around. I'm just sitting there.
- 5:04Speaker 5: Marler's behind me. Obviously he's had his hand up like
- 5:06Speaker 5: forty five minutes trying to get his question in. He
- 5:10Speaker 5: text me he's like Lane kiffing, more like late kiffing.
- 5:15Speaker 6: He worked on that and then he sweated about sending
- 5:17Speaker 6: it to you.
- 5:19Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, did you hit him with them?
- 5:22Speaker 3: I gave him.
- 5:23Speaker 5: I gave him one point in my phone thumb up, Hey,
- 5:28Speaker 5: I saw it, saw it Yeah, good work. That's a
- 5:31Speaker 5: good move when maybe internally laugh Yeah you're not not
- 5:36Speaker 5: a true laugh out loud, but an internal laugh.
- 5:39Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:39Speaker 7: He blew a little air out your nose.
- 5:41Speaker 4: Yeah. I kind of like nodded my head and like
- 5:42Speaker 4: leaned back a little bit so he could see. Yeah,
- 5:45Speaker 4: I approved. Right. Uh did he ask a question yesterday?
- 5:49Speaker 3: Oh he did it.
- 5:50Speaker 7: No, I don't think he did.
- 5:51Speaker 6: So by that he was kind of like I hear
- 5:53Speaker 6: the questions. I was in the back corner. Yeah, I
- 5:56Speaker 6: couldn't even really see I was.
- 5:57Speaker 5: I was talking to some of the new coaches. Yeah,
- 6:00Speaker 5: so they were making sure that like the right people,
- 6:04Speaker 5: I think, we're asking questions, Like Bonnett was. There's two guys,
- 6:07Speaker 5: little runners with microphones. He was giving them the and
- 6:10Speaker 5: like they would run up to a guy and they
- 6:11Speaker 5: look back at Bynt and be like yeah, oh they'd
- 6:15Speaker 5: run up together like a Bunett and be like, yeah,
- 6:18Speaker 5: oh my gosh. I would have I would have loved
- 6:21Speaker 5: to see which gladiator you would have got thumbs up,
- 6:24Speaker 5: her thumbs down. Have been like I have to it's
- 6:32Speaker 5: my boy. But oh, dear God, oh God, what is
- 6:36Speaker 5: gonna happen?
- 6:36Speaker 8: The God, can you imagine being the person that got
- 6:39Speaker 8: a headshake.
- 6:42Speaker 4: What if what if Marla would have.
- 6:44Speaker 7: He would have lost his mind. He wanted to ask
- 6:47Speaker 7: about yoga, but Matt was like, no.
- 6:52Speaker 4: He's got to clear his questions.
- 6:55Speaker 8: I think he said I'm gonna ask him about yoga,
- 6:58Speaker 8: like jokingly, and I was.
- 7:00Speaker 4: Like, no, I actually think Lane would appreciated that.
- 7:03Speaker 7: Did anybody ask him a cool question?
- 7:04Speaker 4: I was going to ask question the Juice one.
- 7:07Speaker 5: Yeah, I was thinking about raising my hand, but it's
- 7:09Speaker 5: kind of getting towards the end, and I was like,
- 7:12Speaker 5: I've made eye contact with Bonnette like multiple times, and like,
- 7:16Speaker 5: maybe Bonnett just sends a microphone over to me. I
- 7:19Speaker 5: was gonna ask him your question. I was going to
- 7:21Speaker 5: ask him, like, you know, what is your relationship with
- 7:23Speaker 5: Juice Kiffin?
- 7:24Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 7:25Speaker 7: Is this like a father son relationship?
- 7:29Speaker 3: Buddy?
- 7:30Speaker 4: Like A, I guess it was a buddy relationship.
- 7:33Speaker 7: I don't even know if they were buddies.
- 7:34Speaker 4: There's a lot, but there's some nasty rummors flying around. Yeah,
- 7:37Speaker 4: I don't want to believe in those. Well, guess what,
- 7:40Speaker 4: I god know that they're just buddies.
- 7:42Speaker 5: Because he's been trying to get the tea off the field,
- 7:45Speaker 5: So there's no way he's that's his dog training.
- 7:49Speaker 6: Greg just came up with a great point, and I
- 7:52Speaker 6: can't believe you let this slip. What he said playing
- 7:56Speaker 6: You could have asked the Varsity Blues question day you fumbled.
- 8:01Speaker 5: You fumbled. Look, I we already know the answer to this.
- 8:06Speaker 5: He his dad was a head coach. He's got mentors
- 8:11Speaker 5: all over the place that have been instill in football
- 8:14Speaker 5: a long time.
- 8:14Speaker 4: He spoke about this yesterday. The answer is, yes, he's
- 8:18Speaker 4: seen Varsity Blues. We won't will never know what to
- 8:24Speaker 4: wait till media day, yeah mm hmm.
- 8:27Speaker 7: Or maybe he'll be willing to come on.
- 8:29Speaker 5: I guess unlike his potential son in law that was
- 8:33Speaker 5: there hadn't seen it.
- 8:36Speaker 4: Watch it together. Maybe they'll watch it together for the
- 8:38Speaker 4: first time.
- 8:39Speaker 7: In front row.
- 8:41Speaker 5: I think, like, since we're kind of saying everybody was
- 8:47Speaker 5: all dressed with dressed like us.
- 8:50Speaker 3: Oh did he? I didn't even see dress like.
- 8:52Speaker 8: I just saw everybody being like the same gay basically
- 8:56Speaker 8: he's one of us.
- 8:57Speaker 5: They did kind of like walk in like the part
- 9:00Speaker 5: of the the First Family's funny.
- 9:06Speaker 4: That's funny. But I thought I thought Lane did a
- 9:08Speaker 4: very nice job.
- 9:10Speaker 5: Daniel said, you should have asked Lane what his favorite
- 9:13Speaker 5: nickname was, like you did, rat.
- 9:15Speaker 4: But we're gonna get him on the show, so I
- 9:17Speaker 4: want him on the show.
- 9:17Speaker 5: We got to like ask him these questions people are
- 9:19Speaker 5: tired of hearing, like, you know, how emotional.
- 9:21Speaker 4: Was it to leave? How heard of a decision was it?
- 9:23Speaker 5: I got it. It's hard, it's emotional. Like, let's ask
- 9:27Speaker 5: him some different things. Yeah, this show, I'll get this,
- 9:32Speaker 5: But how like, what were the conversations like between coaching
- 9:35Speaker 5: your team? Blah blah blah, got it been done? Next
- 9:42Speaker 5: Varsity Blues ju just Kiffin, Lane Plaine, what do you
- 9:49Speaker 5: That's so true?
- 9:51Speaker 4: Good point.
- 9:52Speaker 7: He's already answered all those questions.
- 9:54Speaker 4: Solid point. Thank you.
- 9:56Speaker 6: I did think everybody you win the press conference, and
- 10:01Speaker 6: I don't. There's not too many people that have ever
- 10:03Speaker 6: like lost a press conference besides my guy Goose Adam Gase.
- 10:07Speaker 4: He lost that one, lost that.
- 10:08Speaker 3: One with the eyes. I don't know.
- 10:14Speaker 7: Kind of legendary.
- 10:16Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 10:17Speaker 5: I mean it's legendary. But we're laughing. We're laughing at you,
- 10:20Speaker 5: we're not laughing with But did you really lose? If
- 10:22Speaker 5: you get a laugh, I mean it's it's up for debates. Yeah, okay,
- 10:25Speaker 5: you can lose. Get a laugh.
- 10:27Speaker 7: You went viral for being lame.
- 10:29Speaker 4: Yeah, you for being like super cringe opening press conference.
- 10:33Speaker 4: I just love it so much, so good. But like
- 10:37Speaker 4: the SoundBite hits hard, but the video hits.
- 10:41Speaker 7: Even it's and the hedge like wave. He's like a
- 10:45Speaker 7: little snake with his head.
- 10:48Speaker 6: But so outside of those and maybe some other ones
- 10:51Speaker 6: we could.
- 10:51Speaker 7: Find for I mean, family will be infamous.
- 10:55Speaker 6: Yeah, at least, uh yeah, at least when when Lane
- 10:58Speaker 6: did an accent, he said whose accent he was doing
- 11:00Speaker 6: and set it up?
- 11:03Speaker 4: I want, I want he didn't have. He had some
- 11:05Speaker 4: good uh some good energy.
- 11:07Speaker 5: Yeah, he did about him yesterday, which is uh good
- 11:10Speaker 5: to see some juice back in the building.
- 11:12Speaker 4: Yeah, he had some great interge.
- 11:13Speaker 5: I thought, like, he's exactly what we kind of talked about.
- 11:18Speaker 5: But I was like, you don't want to polish speaker.
- 11:21Speaker 5: You want a good speaker, but you don't want to
- 11:23Speaker 5: polish speaker unless he's certainly not that right, really good
- 11:28Speaker 5: answer that you don't want that Like, that's you don't
- 11:30Speaker 5: want to polish speaker. As a head coach of a
- 11:32Speaker 5: football team, you want a good speaker, somebody can get
- 11:35Speaker 5: his point across somebody. They can handle the pressure of
- 11:37Speaker 5: being up there on stage and taking all those different
- 11:39Speaker 5: questions and answering hard questions and like answering the question
- 11:43Speaker 5: right without skirting around it and like and that's like
- 11:47Speaker 5: sometime that's.
- 11:47Speaker 4: Media training one oh one when they when we got trained.
- 11:52Speaker 5: By Tommy camm here, Like it's like figure out before
- 11:55Speaker 5: the interview what you want to answer and answer that
- 11:59Speaker 5: no matter what question they ask you. Yeah, like that
- 12:02Speaker 5: that's that's skirting and just talking about what you want.
- 12:05Speaker 5: Like Elayne answered all the questions. Yeah, because he knew
- 12:07Speaker 5: he needed to, Like he knew he had to because
- 12:09Speaker 5: it was a tough decision, and like you could you
- 12:11Speaker 5: could you could feel and hear how sincere he was
- 12:14Speaker 5: about how hard of a decision was to do this right, yep.
- 12:17Speaker 5: But you could also hear like the reverence in his
- 12:21Speaker 5: voice for LSU and the history and all the like
- 12:25Speaker 5: how he feels and the love that you know, maybe
- 12:28Speaker 5: it's not maybe not maybe it's not love yet, maybe
- 12:31Speaker 5: it's just reverence. Maybe it's just uh, I understand it's
- 12:35Speaker 5: a great place. I respect it. I've always like cherished
- 12:38Speaker 5: the LSU like a different way and a guy that's
- 12:42Speaker 5: been on the other sideline multiple times, tell me if
- 12:45Speaker 5: you felt the same way I did, because I felt
- 12:47Speaker 5: like it was authentic him telling the stories about when
- 12:50Speaker 5: he was driving up and is like seeing Tiger Stadium
- 12:53Speaker 5: all lit up and being like oh wow, like right,
- 12:56Speaker 5: that's mine, Like I get to be a part.
- 12:58Speaker 4: Of that now.
- 12:59Speaker 6: Yeah, Like it felt like that was authentic in him
- 13:01Speaker 6: being like, because you know this as well as I do.
- 13:04Speaker 6: When you're a visitor going to some of these places,
- 13:06Speaker 6: like you don't really get a chance to experience it
- 13:10Speaker 6: at all. You drive, you get in a bus, you
- 13:12Speaker 6: drive to the very back of the stadium, you pull in,
- 13:15Speaker 6: you go to the locker room.
- 13:16Speaker 4: You say the interstate marry up.
- 13:18Speaker 6: Yeah, so like you don't you don't get a chance
- 13:20Speaker 6: to see it from afar like you do, and like,
- 13:23Speaker 6: you know, see all the different aspects of the stadium.
- 13:26Speaker 6: He's never been up to South Stadium club or he
- 13:28Speaker 6: did in press conference and obviously like of you from that,
- 13:31Speaker 6: like you get the entire stadium, you get the the
- 13:34Speaker 6: you know, the Mississippi there off into.
- 13:36Speaker 5: The probably never even because you got you gotta think
- 13:39Speaker 5: the bus comes in from interstate on the back side
- 13:41Speaker 5: of the stadium. He's probably never even seen football ops
- 13:44Speaker 5: besides like on Google maps, right, you know, so like
- 13:48Speaker 5: you get to take it all in and you get
- 13:50Speaker 5: to say, like I am the caretaker of this now,
- 13:53Speaker 5: like this is or at least this short period of time,
- 13:56Speaker 5: whether that's you know, six years or twenty years, it's
- 14:03Speaker 5: his to take care of. And that's it's a and
- 14:06Speaker 5: you and you're right, you hit the down the head
- 14:08Speaker 5: like there was a sincerity to his voice.
- 14:10Speaker 4: What did I say a couple of weeks authenticism?
- 14:12Speaker 7: Authenticism?
- 14:14Speaker 4: Yep, let's don't even try.
- 14:15Speaker 7: Yeah try, I don't think I was here for that.
- 14:18Speaker 4: Yeah, it's too early. You are, you are because you
- 14:20Speaker 4: would have had I was trying.
- 14:21Speaker 5: To say authenticism and I said AUTHENTICSM Nope, not it.
- 14:26Speaker 4: But you get it. Say authenticity.
- 14:28Speaker 5: I think if you if you attack words, whether you're
- 14:30Speaker 5: saying right or not, people I think people get it.
- 14:32Speaker 8: What was that, Oh Jimmy was saying point of content
- 14:36Speaker 8: contentious Yeah, instead of contention.
- 14:39Speaker 4: Yeah, wor's hard. They are. Words are hard.
- 14:42Speaker 5: There's a lot of words in this English language and
- 14:44Speaker 5: they say it's the hardest one to learn he do.
- 14:46Speaker 5: I basically mastered it.
- 14:48Speaker 8: I do love when he was talking about being a visitor,
- 14:51Speaker 8: I tell you say him yeah, and he was like
- 14:53Speaker 8: the weight of it that was good, like just pulls
- 14:56Speaker 8: you down. But people were saying that when you're on
- 14:59Speaker 8: the other side of it, your home.
- 15:01Speaker 7: It like lifts you up.
- 15:02Speaker 8: You feel like you're like floating entire staty. I loved
- 15:05Speaker 8: when he was talking about, like.
- 15:06Speaker 5: I kind of want to feel that, yeah, on that
- 15:08Speaker 5: side of it. Yeah, yeah, And I promise you this
- 15:10Speaker 5: isn't like trying to be a hater and like all
- 15:15Speaker 5: little brother over there in Mississippi. I've been in old
- 15:19Speaker 5: mississ Stadium.
- 15:20Speaker 4: They respect.
- 15:21Speaker 6: No, I mean it's not it's certainly not the worst
- 15:23Speaker 6: in the sec I've been to. We've I've played in
- 15:27Speaker 6: or covered a game in every one of them. It's
- 15:28Speaker 6: not the worst by any means. But I've seen a
- 15:33Speaker 6: Saturday night game there and to compare the two is
- 15:37Speaker 6: not the same.
- 15:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:38Speaker 6: Now, again, like when they're good, their fans have shown
- 15:42Speaker 6: up and it's been a good like I give them, you.
- 15:45Speaker 5: Know, well, it's a nice stadium and it's the fans
- 15:47Speaker 5: are good. Let's just say it's it's it's like the
- 15:50Speaker 5: cutest stadium in the SEC.
- 15:52Speaker 6: I mean, it's a big difference between you know, thirty
- 15:54Speaker 6: five forty thousand more people and people that get excited
- 15:59Speaker 6: for a night game here in the way that we act.
- 16:01Speaker 6: I mean that in a very positive way. It's just
- 16:04Speaker 6: completely different.
- 16:06Speaker 5: Yeah, and and I don't think we need to like
- 16:10Speaker 5: explain that to old miss fans.
- 16:12Speaker 4: Well you would think you would think you don't. You
- 16:16Speaker 4: would think you don't. So yeah, like you could tell
- 16:19Speaker 4: like it's like it's going to mean something.
- 16:22Speaker 5: It's like maxing out on like bench press, Like there's
- 16:24Speaker 5: one guy that can do five hundred and the other
- 16:26Speaker 5: guy can do three fifty.
- 16:27Speaker 4: Yeah, right, And it's like just the.
- 16:30Speaker 5: Three fifty guys saying he's as strong as the guy
- 16:32Speaker 5: that benches five hundred.
- 16:33Speaker 4: It's just not factual. It's like like it's a lot.
- 16:35Speaker 4: It's good.
- 16:36Speaker 5: Yeah, It's like when we were in college, Like I'd
- 16:39Speaker 5: get under there in like four twenty five and I
- 16:41Speaker 5: feel so good about myself and I'm like, oh yeah,
- 16:44Speaker 5: and then here comes Sean Jordan.

- 17:27Speaker 6: It's not a neutral site game, it's not an away game.
- 17:31Speaker 6: It's a I would assume a Saturday night game in
- 17:34Speaker 6: Tiger Stadium for the first opportunity too, And it's.
- 17:38Speaker 4: Going to be at its peak.
- 17:42Speaker 6: And we like we you know, we've all been able
- 17:44Speaker 6: to experience in person that place's peak, and that's exactly
- 17:49Speaker 6: what's going to be his first time out. It's not
- 17:52Speaker 6: Jacksonville State. Sorry, that was a shot at y'all. Y'all,
- 17:56Speaker 6: A good football program should not have done that.
- 18:00Speaker 4: Now, I mean, they're like a twenty five benure.

- 20:39Speaker 4: got faith again, more than anybody in here. I got
- 20:41Speaker 4: faith in you.
- 20:42Speaker 7: I got to show out for Paul.
- 20:43Speaker 4: That's true. That's true. I got faith You'll come correct.
- 20:47Speaker 4: You always do.
- 20:48Speaker 6: Oh, I can't believe you, you know what, probably because
- 20:52Speaker 6: you were always so late, like you didn't even get
- 20:54Speaker 6: a chance to say hello.
- 20:55Speaker 4: I remember what would you say? A lot? A lot?
- 21:01Speaker 4: I mean shocked? Is every time? A lot? At some
- 21:05Speaker 4: point it's just on time? Can we can we can
- 21:09Speaker 4: we do this just real quick?
- 21:11Speaker 6: Since because like you've been You've been great, Like you
- 21:14Speaker 6: were here at like six twenty five every single day
- 21:18Speaker 6: right in you're early, you got your notebook, you're do
- 21:20Speaker 6: a note It's like you're true pro Now when you
- 21:24Speaker 6: were late every time for like a three year period,
- 21:27Speaker 6: and you would send me a picture of traffic.
- 21:30Speaker 5: Was it the same picture every time that you sing?
- 21:32Speaker 5: I would so I would love to say, yes, I
- 21:35Speaker 5: had the same picture. I did send you the same
- 21:37Speaker 5: picture once, but most of the time it was there
- 21:43Speaker 5: was construction at the it was a split for like
- 21:46Speaker 5: five years.
- 21:47Speaker 6: It was always a picture that had like the exit signs.
- 21:50Speaker 6: Like you know what I'm saying, Like I always wanted
- 21:52Speaker 6: you to know where I was.
- 21:53Speaker 4: I'm like, I feel like you sent me the same
- 21:55Speaker 4: picture before.
- 21:56Speaker 5: Now sometimes I would be late and I just conveniently
- 21:58Speaker 5: would catch traffic. I can snap that pic, Okay, I
- 22:02Speaker 5: mean I get it. I mean the show was what
- 22:04Speaker 5: six to eight originally so.
- 22:06Speaker 4: I was I was.
- 22:07Speaker 5: I feel like I was late more in the morning show, right,
- 22:12Speaker 5: Oh yeah, you were all yes, yeah, I guess at six.
- 22:14Speaker 4: I guess like five o'clock.
- 22:15Speaker 6: I mean, it was never great if we're if we're
- 22:17Speaker 6: being honest, you were late one to three as well.
- 22:19Speaker 5: So when we would do remotes from different restaurants, I
- 22:25Speaker 5: was usually not late because I was sure food involved.
- 22:27Speaker 4: That's true. How we used to have to do the
- 22:30Speaker 4: walk on and not have to Prairie We got we
- 22:34Speaker 4: got to in Prairieville.
- 22:36Speaker 7: That all the way out there.
- 22:37Speaker 4: That was a drive. That was a drive that it
- 22:39Speaker 4: was me and him and Dixon. Yeah, every Friday.
- 22:42Speaker 8: So I have the I had the uh Guarantee phone
- 22:46Speaker 8: when I went to Nashville and we were using it
- 22:48Speaker 8: to like record stuff.
- 22:49Speaker 4: Yeah, we know. Because we didn't have a clock, I
- 22:51Speaker 4: couldn't see how long.
- 22:52Speaker 7: Okay, you can use literally any.
- 22:54Speaker 4: Phone, no, but camp we tried. We tried to use
- 22:57Speaker 4: world clock and it was a mess. Sorry.
- 22:59Speaker 8: Yes, continue, And I saw in the camera roll like
- 23:02Speaker 8: an old picture of y'all at walk On Nice, So
- 23:06Speaker 8: I meant to send it to.
- 23:07Speaker 7: Y'all, but I forgot.
- 23:08Speaker 4: We look awesome.
- 23:09Speaker 8: No, doubt y'all were looking at the phone for some reason,
- 23:12Speaker 8: like some either T Bob or like they were showing
- 23:16Speaker 8: you something on the phone. Yeah, y'all were taking a selfie. Yeah,
- 23:21Speaker 8: I love walk Ons.
- 23:23Speaker 5: Where else do we do that? From both the walk Ons?
- 23:28Speaker 5: So we would switch from the corporate Center Piville every
- 23:33Speaker 5: other week and then we did it, uh right here
- 23:37Speaker 5: Red Electric Red six Social.
- 23:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 23:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 23:41Speaker 6: See, like that was big for us though, because it
- 23:44Speaker 6: was only Fridays at that time slot. That was twenty
- 23:46Speaker 6: nineteen too, and it was so we were Yeah, we
- 23:49Speaker 6: were six to eight Monday through Thursday. And originally we
- 23:53Speaker 6: didn't even do a show on Friday because Gordy's like, hey, Bud,
- 23:57Speaker 6: like nobody's listening on Friday night, and I'm like yeah,
- 24:00Speaker 6: and so but eventually we moved to one to three
- 24:03Speaker 6: and so like for us, it was like a big deal.
- 24:07Speaker 4: We had listeners. We had more than eight people listening.
- 24:10Speaker 4: This isn't a friends and family show.
- 24:13Speaker 6: Yes, and one time a Landra Comrades wasn't working and
- 24:20Speaker 6: uh who because like we only had like we got
- 24:23Speaker 6: like ten of those in the year in that time slot.
- 24:26Speaker 4: Everything else was nighttime radio and we had one that
- 24:29Speaker 4: it wasn't working. I was so pissed. Yep, I remember that,
- 24:34Speaker 4: you know. I was like, just play national, Like we
- 24:39Speaker 4: sounded like we were doing the show from a coffee can. Right?
- 24:42Speaker 5: Was that that was a walk on? Or is that
- 24:44Speaker 5: at Red six Social? It was walk on and pravak
- 24:47Speaker 5: and private? I remember because Dixon was laughing at me.
- 24:50Speaker 5: That was a long drive. You just canceled the show.
- 24:53Speaker 4: I think we did, though.
- 24:54Speaker 6: I think we canceled it, ordered food and drank some beers,
- 25:00Speaker 6: fit in a man pretty nice time. Yeah, we get
- 25:02Speaker 6: hanged like college again.
- 25:04Speaker 4: There was no cookie bowl though. That was fun.
- 25:06Speaker 5: The twenty nineteen year, I mean every Friday was like
- 25:10Speaker 5: hell uber electric.
- 25:11Speaker 4: Yes, that was great. It was out amongst the people. Yeah,
- 25:16Speaker 4: everybody was happy, and that's what we're hoping Shoe gets
- 25:20Speaker 4: back to.
- 25:20Speaker 5: Yeah, drinking all the beers while we're on radio, Well
- 25:23Speaker 5: I can do it because we aren't getting paid.
- 25:26Speaker 6: Well no, no, no, The rule, the official rule is
- 25:28Speaker 6: anybody that's not running the board can have a couple
- 25:31Speaker 6: of cold pops.
- 25:32Speaker 4: Nice. Yeah, we do. You not remember we checked like
- 25:35Speaker 4: we we did all that, We checked all that because of.
- 25:38Speaker 5: That, Well you did, Hey, I was volunteering my time.
- 25:42Speaker 5: Like now I think about it, that was dumb. You
- 25:44Speaker 5: were getting my high commercials though I was just talking
- 25:47Speaker 5: about it. That was getting some commercial are for sure
- 25:53Speaker 5: because you did the screaming eagle sound.
- 25:56Speaker 4: That's true. Good point.
- 25:57Speaker 5: We still have that take it all back think, I
- 25:59Speaker 5: mean guarantees got it somewhere. You still use it though,
- 26:03Speaker 5: the screaming eagle, yeah.
- 26:04Speaker 4: A little bit.
- 26:05Speaker 5: Yeah, that's the name of the Little R Factory too,
- 26:07Speaker 5: screaming eagle. All right, businessman, guy, father and a businessman.
- 26:14Speaker 5: I'm not your guy for.
- 26:17Speaker 4: All right.
- 26:19Speaker 6: So one thing that was reported yesterday and still could
- 26:24Speaker 6: be true, but also couldnot be true, and if it's
- 26:27Speaker 6: not true, it could be a sad day. Is our
- 26:31Speaker 6: guy Blake Baker is interviewing for the two lane head
- 26:34Speaker 6: coaching job.
- 26:37Speaker 4: Now.
- 26:37Speaker 6: If he doesn't get that, I fully expect him to
- 26:39Speaker 6: be back as the defensive coordinator. Don't expect him to
- 26:43Speaker 6: take any other job. That's home for Blake's where he
- 26:46Speaker 6: played and this is home too, don't get me wrong.
- 26:48Speaker 6: That's where he played and that's always a curveball.
- 26:52Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 26:53Speaker 5: I would just like to speak to the two lane
- 26:55Speaker 5: officials right now Blake's not that good of a coach.
- 26:59Speaker 5: He doesn't can't connect with players, that's right, can't recruit,
- 27:02Speaker 5: doesn't know x'es and o's. Yeah, I mean it was
- 27:05Speaker 5: pretty much Brian Kelly's defense. They were running so like Tulane,
- 27:11Speaker 5: I'm looking out for y'all.
- 27:12Speaker 4: Right, now, that's right. Blake not a great coach, I
- 27:15Speaker 4: don't think so.
- 27:17Speaker 7: Can I interest you in a defensive coordinator that's been
- 27:20Speaker 7: in New Orleans? Take Dennis Allen.
- 27:24Speaker 3: Yeah, he's way better.
- 27:26Speaker 6: He said he doesn't like Chicago very much, wants to
- 27:28Speaker 6: come back to New Orleans.
- 27:31Speaker 4: Anybody but Blake. He's not Blake Blake. Blake. Blake doesn't.
- 27:35Speaker 4: He doesn't, you know, connect with New Orleans. He doesn't
- 27:37Speaker 4: know it. He's like, I just spent four years there,
- 27:39Speaker 4: but then I quickly left. You know.
- 27:41Speaker 7: He lost the locker room, lost the locker room.
- 27:44Speaker 4: Yeah, you all don't need to do that. Don't do that.
- 27:46Speaker 4: Like man like dress up a little bit, Blake. It's
- 27:51Speaker 4: called sleeves. Can't you can't lead a group of men
- 27:55Speaker 4: with no sleeves, right. I think he just needs to
- 27:57Speaker 4: come back here, guys to not a fit. It's not
- 27:59Speaker 4: a fit. Guys. I'm sorry.
- 28:03Speaker 7: Wait, damn it.
- 28:06Speaker 8: Do y'all believe that Lane Kiffin really didn't think that
- 28:09Speaker 8: or really didn't know what his contract was?
- 28:12Speaker 4: Oh?
- 28:14Speaker 7: Why was he saying that?
- 28:17Speaker 6: Like maybe like to the decimal tales. Yeah, but I'm
- 28:21Speaker 6: gonna be honest with you. In the NFL, I never
- 28:26Speaker 6: knew exactly how much, Like I knew kind of the range,
- 28:29Speaker 6: but I'm not gonna sit here and every day I remember,
- 28:32Speaker 6: I hit all of my incentives one year, and I
- 28:34Speaker 6: knew it went up to pass a million, and that's
- 28:37Speaker 6: all I knew.
- 28:38Speaker 4: It could have been one point one. It could have
- 28:39Speaker 4: been one point three. Like I really, I really don't know.
- 28:44Speaker 6: So maybe like to that point, to that extent, like
- 28:46Speaker 6: he knows, he knows it's over, he knows it's over
- 28:50Speaker 6: ten million.
- 28:51Speaker 5: It wasn't gonna be like, you know, don't tell me.
- 28:54Speaker 5: One person's offered me a million, the other one offered
- 28:56Speaker 5: me thirteen. Like yeah, unless there's a discrepancy that I
- 29:00Speaker 5: don't really want to know. I'm sure Jimmy sex and
- 29:02Speaker 5: I'm sure you're gonna get as much as you can
- 29:04Speaker 5: for your pocket, right, So I think I'm good.
- 29:06Speaker 4: I mean, I believe that he didn't know the details.
- 29:09Speaker 8: Do you think he was like Jimmy was just telling him, like, hey,
- 29:13Speaker 8: they're all in the same ballpark.
- 29:15Speaker 5: Yeah, and I agree, Like, okay, so it's an easy
- 29:17Speaker 5: thing to say, this is a decision not based on money,
- 29:21Speaker 5: like when you know you're gonna get paid a lot
- 29:22Speaker 5: of money, So like it probably didn't matter whether it
- 29:25Speaker 5: was twelve or fourteen million to him, right, Like he
- 29:29Speaker 5: wasn't gonna take six right, Yeah, and he shouldn't. But like,
- 29:33Speaker 5: of course, every like money matters to everybody, and like,
- 29:36Speaker 5: and I get it might matter less to some people,
- 29:39Speaker 5: and it might like the details might not matter once
- 29:41Speaker 5: it gets to a certain point, like if I get this,
- 29:44Speaker 5: I'm good whatever. Anything above that awesome. Like to say,
- 29:48Speaker 5: like money does, like a decision wasn't based on money.
- 29:51Speaker 5: I that means, like they offered me thirteen point seven,
- 29:55Speaker 5: the other one offered me thirteen point two, so I'm
- 29:57Speaker 5: gonna take the thirteen point seven, Like that would be
- 29:59Speaker 5: a decision ba off of money, right, Yeah, Like I
- 30:02Speaker 5: think for him, it's so much like as long as
- 30:04Speaker 5: it's in the ballpark, then it's that's not going to
- 30:07Speaker 5: be the decided factor. Yeah, which is like, that's not
- 30:10Speaker 5: a flaw for Anny, that's a you're dumb if you
- 30:14Speaker 5: don't think you would do the same.
- 30:16Speaker 4: Lane did keep mentioning four schools? Yeah, he didn lsu.
- 30:22Speaker 6: Florida, Ole, Miss maybe Auburn. Auburn's the only thing that
- 30:25Speaker 6: I can think of, Penn State.
- 30:29Speaker 3: Entertain that.
- 30:30Speaker 5: I don't know how anybody real journalists look at him
- 30:32Speaker 5: over there. I don't know how anybody didn't jump on
- 30:34Speaker 5: that yesterday. I don't feel like a journalist, and I'm
- 30:36Speaker 5: not a real member of the media, so I didn't
- 30:38Speaker 5: feel like I was just gonna sit there like, who's
- 30:40Speaker 5: the other that's one of the question.
- 30:42Speaker 4: Uh, Lane, who said for school? You said four? Bud, Yeah,
- 30:45Speaker 4: we know about three.
- 30:46Speaker 6: And then he would have said, hey, your core looks
- 30:48Speaker 6: really warm. I don't know about your arms, but your
- 30:50Speaker 6: core looks really warm right now.
- 30:52Speaker 4: Then I would have hit him with it.
- 30:53Speaker 5: You ever throw your leg out in bed, keep your
- 30:57Speaker 5: core warm? Gotta hear that legout sometimes. I just thought,
- 31:02Speaker 5: that's that's the first time you choose that one for
- 31:03Speaker 5: a line, Dray, I've heard that one before.
- 31:06Speaker 4: It's still plays, It still plays. You put a limp cool.
- 31:14Speaker 7: Yeah, it's a fair comparison. I just never that's funny.
- 31:19Speaker 4: I know he said last night that it was I
- 31:22Speaker 4: think you mentioned it was U c.
- 31:23Speaker 5: L A.
- 31:24Speaker 4: Maybe after the fact, But what really I saw that.
- 31:29Speaker 4: I saw that on social media.
- 31:31Speaker 5: Say that because he have some like family times there.
- 31:34Speaker 5: I mean he was at USC maybe. I mean he's
- 31:36Speaker 5: from California. I mean he went to President State, which
- 31:39Speaker 5: is nowhere near U c.
- 31:40Speaker 3: L A.
- 31:40Speaker 5: I mean it's in the middle of the state. But
- 31:42Speaker 5: I don't know, but as get him on the show.
- 31:48Speaker 5: WHOA just Jake, Oh, get some part of it too.
- 31:51Speaker 4: I mean, hey, it is I can d m him.
- 31:56Speaker 4: I mean, I mean you have look you've gotten too,
- 32:01Speaker 4: You've gotten on this show.
- 32:02Speaker 6: You've gotten the Saints head coach, the Saints starting quarterback
- 32:05Speaker 6: at the time.
- 32:06Speaker 4: I mean, you go big game hunting and it usually
- 32:08Speaker 4: works out for you.
- 32:09Speaker 7: Yeah, you got a swill clap.
- 32:11Speaker 4: That's true.
- 32:13Speaker 5: Yeah, not a big deal. It's not if you that
- 32:17Speaker 5: is right, You're right, I kind of do the only
- 32:18Speaker 5: go big game hunting.
- 32:19Speaker 7: I know this is the biggest game.
- 32:22Speaker 4: Yeah, got the LSU head coach.
- 32:24Speaker 7: We get that book.
- 32:26Speaker 5: You fail, I'll just uh see what I can do,
- 32:32Speaker 5: all right. More OTB when we come back here live

- 35:53Speaker 4: That's true. Good point. Mm hm think are you thank
- 35:56Speaker 4: you for jumian medical dot com? All right? So link
- 35:59Speaker 4: if not the only new head coach in ben Rouge.
- 36:03Speaker 5: Southern Jags hired NFL Hall of Famer Marshall falk Who
- 36:09Speaker 5: how about that?
- 36:10Speaker 4: I mean, what a hire? Make a splash much?
- 36:13Speaker 5: Yeah, this is a guy that is from Louisiana, from
- 36:17Speaker 5: New Orleans, went to Carver High down there in at
- 36:20Speaker 5: New Orleans in the ninth ward and went out to
- 36:23Speaker 5: San Diego State for college.
- 36:24Speaker 4: And I remember being in San Diego and he's a
- 36:27Speaker 4: legend there.
- 36:28Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, Paul, you got like a where you
- 36:30Speaker 5: can find like a ninety second or two minute like
- 36:32Speaker 5: just Marshall, fuck, highlight fell.
- 36:34Speaker 4: While we're talking about it.
- 36:34Speaker 5: Yeah, he was like on the field, like the first
- 36:40Speaker 5: true do it all running back that I remember, Like, Hey,
- 36:43Speaker 5: we're gonna line you up anywhere and everywhere, you're gonna
- 36:46Speaker 5: run it.
- 36:47Speaker 4: Obviously we're gonna we're gonna throw you the football, but
- 36:49Speaker 4: like it like.
- 36:51Speaker 5: That whole offense, like the original, like the first offense
- 36:54Speaker 5: where everybody would watch in the NFL.
- 36:56Speaker 4: And was like, what what the hell is that? Wait
- 37:00Speaker 4: running back?
- 37:02Speaker 5: It's like the scene from Remember the Titans when that
- 37:05Speaker 5: that team's throwing it all over the place. So I
- 37:07Speaker 5: don't know what they're doing. I don't know which way,
- 37:08Speaker 5: which direction they're growing. Yes, very much. So that offense
- 37:12Speaker 5: was so much like and that was the time of
- 37:13Speaker 5: my life too, where I was like growing up and
- 37:16Speaker 5: it was at the time I tell you about the story.
- 37:18Speaker 5: I went and watched evangel play John Tyland, and I'm like,
- 37:21Speaker 5: what the hell is this?
- 37:22Speaker 4: Like, what is this offense? Dad? They can do that?
- 37:25Speaker 4: And like I was coming into my own with football,
- 37:26Speaker 4: starting to love it and play quarterback.
- 37:28Speaker 5: In middle school and stuff, and then like these guys
- 37:30Speaker 5: come out in the NFL and it was just unbelievable.
- 37:34Speaker 5: So that certainly was the name when I when I
- 37:36Speaker 5: saw that Southern was hiring as their head coach, I
- 37:38Speaker 5: was like, Yeah, it's a big move, man. It's great
- 37:42Speaker 5: for the city, it's great for the school. He spent
- 37:45Speaker 5: last year coaching running backs at Colorado with coach Prime,
- 37:48Speaker 5: but old I'm wondering if he had any coach in
- 37:50Speaker 5: the experience. Yeah, he was the running back coach last year.
- 37:53Speaker 6: But on the field, Super Bowl Champ, NFL MVP in
- 37:56Speaker 6: two thousand, we know how hard that is to do
- 37:58Speaker 6: when you don't play quarterback. Three time NFL Offensive Player
- 38:02Speaker 6: of the Year nineteen ninety nine, two thousand, and two
- 38:05Speaker 6: thousand and one, so three consecutive years he was the
- 38:08Speaker 6: NFL Offensive Player of the Year.
- 38:09Speaker 4: He was the Rookie of the Year in nineteen ninety four.
- 38:11Speaker 6: He was three time first team All Pro, three times
- 38:16Speaker 6: second team All Pro, so six times in his career
- 38:18Speaker 6: he was on the All Pro team. It's a great,
- 38:21Speaker 6: great move by Southern. I know he doesn't have a
- 38:24Speaker 6: ton of coaching on his resume, but he did coach
- 38:29Speaker 6: major college football last year.
- 38:30Speaker 4: And it's Marshall Falk. It's Marshall Fulk.
- 38:32Speaker 6: I think Marshall Fualk knows a thing or two about football.
- 38:35Speaker 6: I can't wait to see what it does. Obviously like
- 38:38Speaker 6: brings life to the program. Now that I know they
- 38:41Speaker 6: just wanted to buy you classic. I think twenty five
- 38:43Speaker 6: twenty four if I remember right in Lady Jag, Miss Judy,
- 38:46Speaker 6: I know you're listening.
- 38:47Speaker 4: If I got the score wrong, let me know they
- 38:50Speaker 4: dominated that series.
- 38:51Speaker 6: By the way, do you owe her a little Yeah,
- 38:55Speaker 6: because we have a bet every year because I'm from
- 38:57Speaker 6: North Louisiana and obviously Lady Jag Lady Jag, and so
- 39:01Speaker 6: every year, Yeah, if Grambling wins, she has to wear
- 39:04Speaker 6: a Grambling shirt and if Southern winds, I usually wear
- 39:06Speaker 6: a Southern shirt or hoodie or something.
- 39:08Speaker 4: Yeah, so I got gotta pay up on my dead there.
- 39:12Speaker 5: I'm looking at this rushing stats for Marshall fuck in
- 39:16Speaker 5: his career and seventy nine yards rushing on two thousand
- 39:20Speaker 5: and thirty six carries. That's four point three yards per
- 39:22Speaker 5: carry on average for his career one hundred tutters, only
- 39:25Speaker 5: thirty fumbles in two thousand, eight hundred thirty six carries.
- 39:31Speaker 5: Pretty ball security, I'd say, so four point three yards
- 39:35Speaker 5: average per carry, that's pretty great.
- 39:40Speaker 4: Yeah. Say receiving yard six thousand.
- 39:44Speaker 5: And seventy five receiving yards, that nine average of nine
- 39:49Speaker 5: yards per catch.
- 39:50Speaker 4: Think about that.
- 39:51Speaker 5: Like normal running backs, you don't get close to ten
- 39:54Speaker 5: yards per catch. I mean you're more like five or six.
- 39:58Speaker 5: He's got six thousand or yards. Yeah, I'm excited about that.
- 40:03Speaker 5: Man's it's a great deal. That went forward pass in
- 40:06Speaker 5: the air seven hundred and sixty seven times in the
- 40:09Speaker 5: National Football League.
- 40:10Speaker 6: To get Yeah, that's fun. Yeah, just a little bit
- 40:13Speaker 6: above where what I did. How much you get thirty?
- 40:19Speaker 6: You did it, But you did it, yeah, sure, sure,
- 40:22Speaker 6: not to the level of Marshall basically the same guy.
- 40:25Speaker 6: Not to the level of a Marshall fark. But again, man,
- 40:28Speaker 6: this is this is great for the program. I think,
- 40:33Speaker 6: very very cool. So the HBCUs have done a great job.
- 40:38Speaker 6: And you've got so many legends of the game.
- 40:41Speaker 5: And Michael Vick obviously he takes a job he had
- 40:45Speaker 5: Sewn Jackson take a job Eddie George before moved on
- 40:47Speaker 5: to Bowling Green.
- 40:48Speaker 4: And so you know, bringing these legends.
- 40:52Speaker 6: To these schools and be able to be mentors and
- 40:54Speaker 6: be able to share their experiences and their football knowledge too.
- 40:56Speaker 4: I mean we're talking about all timers.
- 40:58Speaker 6: So Marshall Falk adds to the at Marshall Falk again,
- 41:00Speaker 6: he's a gold jacket where like he wasn't just like
- 41:03Speaker 6: a good player in the NFL, like he was one.
- 41:05Speaker 5: Of the best at his position to ever do it. Yep,
- 41:12Speaker 5: how many years so he was has how long has
- 41:14Speaker 5: it been coaching that it really matter?
- 41:15Speaker 4: Just Colorado? Yeah he did the one year I make
- 41:20Speaker 4: a splash. You don't think people want to come play
- 41:25Speaker 4: for Marshall Falk right here in the Capital City? All right?
- 41:30Speaker 6: We will step away when we come back. More ot
- 41:33Speaker 6: B here live from the Raisin Kines studio.
