  Speaker 1: two teams are gonna match up. This is an old rivalry.

  Speaker 1: And for most of the time that these universities have

  Speaker 1: had programs, I have been, you know, a middle of

  Speaker 1: the package around irrelevant. Kansas States have some peaks. Iowa State,

  Speaker 1: it's been an interesting team since you and I've started

  Speaker 1: doing this podcast. Matt Campbell's been there ten years now,

  Speaker 1: and you could argue he's one of the top ten
• 2:34
  Speaker 1: coaches in America in my personal opinion, and I think
• 2:36
  Speaker 1: he probably would have left this job a couple of times.

  Speaker 1: It's just the timing never seemed to work out right,

  Speaker 1: and so maybe this is it. But if you go

  Speaker 1: look at this squad man, they were eleven to three

  Speaker 1: last year. They bring back thirteen starters, seven on offense,

  Speaker 1: six on defense, including rock O Beck. He's one of

  Speaker 1: the better quarterbacks. I mean, rock Obec's gonna get a

  Speaker 1: chance to play on Sunday. He'll be on a roster

  Speaker 1: next preseason without a doubt in my mind. And you

  Speaker 1: get this. I State's fantastic. They were one of the

  Speaker 1: first teams in the Big twelve and really in the

  Speaker 1: country that created the four to five defense that were

  Speaker 1: running that cloud that was just literally built to not

  Speaker 1: allow you to have explosive plays. And so it's done

  Speaker 1: a great job. It's kept them in games, it's kept

  Speaker 1: them relevant in the conference for a long long time.
