For a religion nearing 2 billion people, they eagerly await a promised leader who will unite the people of the prophet and rule the world with justice and righteousness. He is "the guided" one, who will end all oppression and cruelty in the world ultimately creating a utopian society based upon their principles.
According to Jesus and the New Testament early church writers, during the end times period, people are going to abandon the Christian faith. There will be a significant global falling away - an apostasy. People will follow false teachers and be forced to worship a world leader…
