- 0:20SPEAKER_02: A quarter of the season is officially complete.
- 0:24SPEAKER_02: And boy, does it suck to say it out loud.
- 0:27SPEAKER_02: Wow, it's just like that.
- 0:28SPEAKER_02: A month gone by.
- 0:30SPEAKER_02: A season is a quarter of the way.
- 0:32SPEAKER_02: I like I hate saying that.
- 0:34SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna stop saying that for the rest of the show just because it's semi-depressing to hear that.
- 0:38SPEAKER_02: But you know what?
- 0:39SPEAKER_02: Of course, this is the Fantasy Football Space Podcast.
- 0:42SPEAKER_02: I am Natter alongside Tip and Nico.
- 0:45SPEAKER_02: And you know what, boys?
- 0:47SPEAKER_02: Real quick, I I feel the need to do it, and it's a victory lap.
- 0:52SPEAKER_02: And I, you know, I have I feel like I have a bunch of reasons to victory lap over you guys.
- 0:57SPEAKER_03: But one of them on that Trevor Lawrence call last week.
- 1:00SPEAKER_02: I mean, there was a bunch.
- 1:01SPEAKER_03: There's a bunch.
- 1:01SPEAKER_02: Hey, hey, you know what?
- 1:02SPEAKER_02: How how did I know that Tutan was gonna have three touchdowns?
- 1:05SPEAKER_02: By the way, who called Tutan by the anyway?
- 1:07SPEAKER_02: Um he didn't.
- 1:09SPEAKER_02: I didn't not those a crusty pick, but like pre-draft season, I said, Hey, this guy toot, and he's going off.
- 1:15SPEAKER_02: But you know what?
- 1:16SPEAKER_02: I you know what I said that uh DJ Moore is the Walmart Debo Samuel, and I still feel like that is the absolute correct take.
- 1:25SPEAKER_02: And hey, hey, congratulations to whoever took Debo Samuel in the ninth round and passed on DJ Moore.
- 1:30SPEAKER_02: Tip, how do you feel about that?
- 1:34SPEAKER_03: Well, right now I don't feel great about it, but it's just because DJ Moore is hurt.
- 1:38SPEAKER_03: If he wasn't hurt, we would be fine.
- 1:40SPEAKER_03: Uh, you can't, it's kind of comparing apples to oranges in this situation.
- 1:43SPEAKER_03: You have a healthy player versus a non-healthy player.
- 1:46SPEAKER_03: So I think that if DJ Moore was healthy, then he would not be a Walmart Debo Samuels.
- 1:52SPEAKER_03: But maybe you can up him to like, I don't know, uh um right aid, um Walgreens, I don't know.
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: Nico, what do you think?
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: He ain't no Kowalski's or Costco like Christian Watson.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: But yeah, I guess that's just what came to mind.
- 2:12SPEAKER_01: But no, I mean, you know, Debo, he's your gadgety, you know, big play type of guy.
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: You know, I'm the nerd behind the scenes, I'm always looking at stats under the hood, and his usage and opportunity is still a little bit concerning for me.
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: But based on where he was going in drafts, he's pro he's providing tremendous value.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: So Natter, I'll give you some flowers.
- 2:33SPEAKER_02: Thank you, thank you.
- 2:35SPEAKER_02: Um, the second one was Kyler Murray, but you know what?
- 2:37SPEAKER_02: That is a whole different discussion for another time.
- 2:40SPEAKER_02: But of course, in today's episode, we got some buy and sell and trade talk.
- 2:46SPEAKER_02: This is honestly one of my more favorite episodes and times of the season, minus redraft, of course, because we get to go over the hypotheticals on who we want on a roster, who we don't want on our roster, because those pieces are gonna help uh fill that puzzle that creates a winning roster that's gonna put you in the championships up and above.
- 3:07SPEAKER_02: So, of course, in today's episode, we're gonna be talking about the buy sells.
- 3:11SPEAKER_02: We are going to be talking about the news, are of course starts and sits, and then last but not least, the crusty pig.
- 3:18SPEAKER_02: So without further ado, buy the slump, sell the surge.
- 3:31SPEAKER_02: Okay, I know today.
- 3:34SPEAKER_02: Come on, come on, that was not bad, huh?
- 3:36SPEAKER_02: But that was good, dude.
- 3:37SPEAKER_03: That was that was good.
- 3:38SPEAKER_03: I kind of looked like the Matrix.
- 3:40SPEAKER_03: I kind of felt like Neo for a second.
- 3:41SPEAKER_02: See, exactly.
- 3:42SPEAKER_02: So, of course, for anybody that is currently listening on podcasting platforms, which is either Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or anything on that sort, whether you're listening on X and all that good stuff, of course.
- 3:53SPEAKER_02: I do want to remind everybody we are live on, of course, YouTube and X and even Instagram at Wednesday, 9 p.m.
- 4:00SPEAKER_02: Eastern Standard Time to make sure that you're live.
- 4:04SPEAKER_02: Join the conversation, the chats are always open.
- 4:06SPEAKER_02: If you have fantasy questions, whether it's trades, starts, sits, all that good stuff.
- 4:11SPEAKER_02: It is always available for you guys to join up in the conversation and of course debate.
- 4:15SPEAKER_02: You know, if you don't like something we say, make sure to say in the comments, and then we could always argue about it.
- 4:20SPEAKER_02: I'm always down for it.
- 4:21SPEAKER_02: I like a good argument.
- 4:22SPEAKER_02: So, of course, we're gonna kick it off with the starts and sits because it's like stocks, right?
- 4:26SPEAKER_02: When you buy a stock, you are investing in a player, or in this case, a company, which is going to always provide you value, whether it's down the line or the immediate value.
- 4:35SPEAKER_02: And when you have to make a trade, you're getting rid of a depreciating asset for one that you think is going to provide value going into the future.
- 4:42SPEAKER_02: And that's of course, just like your fantasy football team.
- 4:45SPEAKER_02: We're gonna be talking about players that you want to get rid of, and of course, players that we want.
- 4:49SPEAKER_02: But first, we always got to go with the good news and players we want to buy.
- 4:52SPEAKER_02: So, boys, do you guys want to go first or should should I?
- 4:56SPEAKER_02: You you've been talking to you though first.
- 4:58SPEAKER_02: Oh, my bad.
- 4:58SPEAKER_03: I like what you've been saying so far.
- 5:00SPEAKER_02: Okay, thank you.
- 5:01SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
- 5:02SPEAKER_02: I appreciate it.
- 5:02SPEAKER_02: So, of course, I'm gonna kick it off with our boy Matthew Golden, and uh he already eclipsed his receiving yards.
- 5:09SPEAKER_02: Actually, sorry, he's like 50 yards away from eclipsing his last year stats.
- 5:14SPEAKER_02: His two touchdowns has already eclipsed his last year stats.
- 5:17SPEAKER_02: He's 12th in receiving yards with 240, uh, 274.
- 5:21SPEAKER_02: Sorry, he is tight for 15th with two touchdowns.
- 5:24SPEAKER_02: He averages, I think it's like 15.2 yards per catch.
- 5:27SPEAKER_02: That's like a ridiculous stat in an offense that's currently kind of struggling, especially because they can't run the ball.
- 5:32SPEAKER_02: They're always in negative game scripts, they're always passing it, and they're always going downfield.
- 5:36SPEAKER_02: That gunslinger of a quarterback in Jordan Love, he isn't that expensive.
- 5:40SPEAKER_02: We're gonna be talking about trades that happened with him specifically involved, and then of course, we'll discuss whether we want him and want to accept that trade or not.
- 5:50SPEAKER_02: But of course, Tip, what do you think about this one?
- 5:52SPEAKER_03: Yeah, no, Matthew Golden's good.
- 5:54SPEAKER_03: I I was high on him coming into the season.
- 5:56SPEAKER_03: I thought that he could become the number one wide receiver there in the pack with the Packers, and it seems like he kind of is.
- 6:04SPEAKER_03: Uh, so I like like I I love it.
- 6:07SPEAKER_03: And now you saw last week he got a two-yard touchdown in the red zone.
- 6:12SPEAKER_03: That tells me that they've been working on their chemistry, they've been working together to formulate some type of chemistry.
- 6:17SPEAKER_03: Him, uh Golden and Jordan love.
- 6:20SPEAKER_03: So this is good.
- 6:22SPEAKER_03: This is all good stuff.
- 6:24SPEAKER_03: If you can get Matthew Golden, it might be it might be a little tougher to do.
- 6:27SPEAKER_03: You might have to give up somebody that you've you know wanted to wanted on your team, but I think that in the long run, they're gonna be in a lot of situations where they're gonna be throwing the ball, but Matthew Golden's good with me.
- 6:40SPEAKER_02: Now, how about you, Nico?
- 6:42SPEAKER_02: What do you think?
- 6:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm here for it, man.
- 6:45SPEAKER_01: I mean, Matthew Golden has been outproducing his ADP by a country mile.
- 6:50SPEAKER_01: I mean, he's top 15 in opportunity, so routes, targets per game.
- 6:54SPEAKER_01: Uh, what's even more encouraging, and Tip kind of touched on it, is he's 11th in the NFL in inside the 20 targets.
- 7:01SPEAKER_01: So he is getting involved in the red zone as well.
- 7:04SPEAKER_01: Obviously, red zone opportunities result in six points for most leagues.
- 7:09SPEAKER_01: So, Matt Golden, I mean, he's the wide receiver 13 on the season so far.
- 7:14SPEAKER_01: Uh, I believe let me fact check myself here, but I believe he has more receiving yards than my boy Christian Watson.
- 7:24SPEAKER_01: He does not.
- 7:25SPEAKER_01: Sorry, I lied, but regardless, great pick by oh, starting hot.
- 7:31SPEAKER_01: Great, regardless, dude.
- 7:33SPEAKER_01: Great pick.
- 7:33SPEAKER_01: Like, you know, it's I don't think you're buying a slump.
- 7:36SPEAKER_02: I think what you're buying here is the breakout, which is always a good thing because you don't always when we say buy players, we don't necessarily mean players that had um bad games and are really down in the dumps.
- 7:49SPEAKER_02: You could be buying somebody at average value, average cost, expecting him to consistently elevate himself and move up on an upward trajectory, which is somebody like Matthew Golden right now.
- 8:00SPEAKER_02: He's already doing really good or solid, I should say, but I expect him to do significantly better as the season goes on and he gets more comfortable in this offense.
- 8:08SPEAKER_02: So, right now, I currently have some trades as of October 7th, which is today, Wednesday, with trades that Matthew Golden has been incorporated into.
- 8:18SPEAKER_02: The only thing I do want to preference is we don't necessarily know the scoring uh settings, the scoring way it's set, whether it's half point, full point, standard, all that good stuff.
- 8:26SPEAKER_02: So, right now, one-to-one trade, would you guys do it?
- 8:30SPEAKER_02: Which side?
- 8:31SPEAKER_02: Matthew Golden, Saquon Barkley, one-to-one.
- 8:35SPEAKER_02: Tip.
- 8:36SPEAKER_03: I think you kind of have to at this point with how bad the Philadelphia Eagles um have looked and possibly going to look in the future.
- 8:45SPEAKER_03: And then Saquon Barkley, he's so week to week.
- 8:48SPEAKER_03: He's been injured every game this season, and it does, and now he's week to week.
- 8:53SPEAKER_03: And then they got rid of or Lane Johnson retires.
- 8:56SPEAKER_03: Cam Jurgens, he's he's gone.
- 8:59SPEAKER_03: This team seems like they're dumpster firing, or maybe, maybe uh Howie Roseman's trying to put something together.
- 9:06SPEAKER_03: But I would I would kind of do that, man.
- 9:07SPEAKER_03: It but it does depend on who my other running backs are, and it also depends on you know my wide receiver room.
- 9:13SPEAKER_03: Um, but right now, if I'm looking at one of my teams that I have Saquon Barkley in, I'm possibly doing that because that means that my wide receiver room needs some help because I went heavy on running backs.
- 9:24SPEAKER_02: Now, when we say uh you're doing it, as in you're taking Matthew Golden and giving away Saquon.
- 9:31SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 9:32SPEAKER_03: In a redraft league, I'm doing it.
- 9:33SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, I'm doing it.
- 9:35SPEAKER_02: Nico, you with us?
- 9:37SPEAKER_01: Nah, I'm not doing it.
- 9:39SPEAKER_01: Um, at the end of the day, the running back market is extremely scarce.
- 9:44SPEAKER_01: We all know that.
- 9:45SPEAKER_01: And Saquon's injury isn't something that's long term.
- 9:49SPEAKER_01: They've come out and said, you know, that he kind of dodged a bullet a little bit.
- 9:53SPEAKER_01: And although he might miss a uh couple weeks, he's definitely gonna be there for you in the second half.
- 9:58SPEAKER_01: Now I know it's been really ugly, it's been really bad.
- 10:01SPEAKER_01: You know, he hasn't eclipsed more than 8.5 fantasy points in any game this season.
- 10:06SPEAKER_01: And as much as I like Golden's breakout, I'm holding on to Saquon.
- 10:11SPEAKER_01: Now, if you're maybe getting you know a Saquon and a wide receiver three in return to kind of help fill that void, you know, then I would more so consider it.
- 10:22SPEAKER_02: Fair enough.
- 10:23SPEAKER_02: Now, one more and then we'll move on to the next player.
- 10:26SPEAKER_02: Uh Nico, this one's specifically aimed at you.
- 10:28SPEAKER_02: There is a one-to-one trade, Matthew Golden for Justin Jefferson.
- 10:33SPEAKER_01: Oh Jettas.
- 10:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 10:35SPEAKER_02: Jettas.
- 10:36SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah.
- 10:37SPEAKER_01: No question.
- 10:37SPEAKER_02: Come on now.
- 10:38SPEAKER_03: No, it's easy.
- 10:38SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's Jettas.
- 10:39SPEAKER_03: Even I mean, you're talking about dodge a bullet.
- 10:42SPEAKER_03: That's the one who dodged a bullet.
- 10:43SPEAKER_03: He just so happens to be playing two sorry ass teams the next couple weeks or the last week and this week, they don't need him.
- 10:50SPEAKER_03: Like, like, so uh, you know, he he'll be healthy, he'll be ready to go.
- 10:55SPEAKER_03: I can't do that one.
- 10:57SPEAKER_02: And honestly, that's all the more reason why I would rather have Matthew Golden in this situation.
- 11:01SPEAKER_02: He's healthy, better quarterback, negative game scripts.
- 11:05SPEAKER_02: I mean, Kyler Murray, he he can't see the field at all right now.
- 11:08SPEAKER_02: And I'd much rather have Jordan Love throwing it to me than the than Kyler Murray.
- 11:13SPEAKER_02: I'm not a fan of it, but of course, hey, tip, give us your player that we're buying.
- 11:20SPEAKER_03: Uh, so for me, it's Chuba Hubbard.
- 11:22SPEAKER_03: I mean, look, guys, to talk about we talk about Kyron Williams, how like we didn't he had no respect, right?
- 11:28SPEAKER_03: He always gets no respect.
- 11:29SPEAKER_03: This guy gets no respect either.
- 11:30SPEAKER_03: I think I know myself talked about Jonathan Brooks in length on our show.
- 11:36SPEAKER_03: I've talked about him on other shows, I've written about him.
- 11:38SPEAKER_03: I and I was just kind of putting Chuba Hubbard to the side, forgetting that you know they paid him, forgetting that he actually is the number one guy that Jonathan Brooks was gonna have to work his way into the line or into starting uh conversation.
- 11:53SPEAKER_03: And now he's hurt, and Chuba Hubbard's doing what he's doing.
- 11:56SPEAKER_03: He's got more points than James Cook, Chase Brown, Amarian Hampton.
- 12:00SPEAKER_03: Those guys were all drafted several rounds ahead of him.
- 12:03SPEAKER_03: And Chuba Hubbard just keeps doing the same thing that Tuber Hubbard keeps doing each week.
- 12:08SPEAKER_03: And look, the next couple of weeks coming up this week against the Eagles.
- 12:13SPEAKER_03: We just talked about them.
- 12:14SPEAKER_03: 122 yards that they give up to uh opposing running backs.
- 12:18SPEAKER_03: After that, they got a tougher matchup, they gotta go against Vita Feya and the Bucs, but the Bucs are a shell of themselves right now.
- 12:24SPEAKER_03: They might go 0-5.
- 12:25SPEAKER_03: I think they are gonna go 0-5, so they might be an O for team going uh next that coming week, and then after that, they get the Packers who give up 139 rushing yards.
- 12:36SPEAKER_03: So, like this this is really good news for Chuba Hubbard.
- 12:40SPEAKER_03: And if you can find a way, if you're hurting for running backs, maybe you're a Saquon Barkley owner, maybe you you you you're dealing with some other injuries from your other running backs, I will go out there and if you gotta give up one of your top wide receivers, a number, a wide receiver two, I will go out there and get Chuba Hubbard, man, because like you said, you want to have that running back depth.
- 13:00SPEAKER_02: The the fact that the Panthers offense just elevated itself to heights that realistically we hoped, but didn't really expect really helped him find those running lanes, those condensed boxes, those spread sets has really elevated him and given him the opportunity to succeed.
- 13:18SPEAKER_02: Nico, what do you think?
- 13:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean, talk about another player to buy the breakout a little bit, and obviously the injury to Jonathan Brooks helped his opportunity significantly in weeks one and two.
- 13:31SPEAKER_01: He saw 22 carries.
- 13:32SPEAKER_01: Chuba did uh over the last two weeks, he had 19 and then 20.
- 13:37SPEAKER_01: His efficiency metrics are still kind of you know middle-ish of the pack, a little bit top tier, but I mean he's outperforming ADP for sure.
- 13:45SPEAKER_01: I'm buying into the Panther breakout, and because you're buying into the Panther breakout, you obviously in turn have to buy into the Chuba breakout.
- 13:54SPEAKER_01: They're on a buy this week.
- 13:55SPEAKER_01: Uh, like Tip mentioned, they get the Eagles uh when they come back from London, and then the Bucks have been a little stingy against the run, um, but have been fairly vulnerable against the past.
- 14:06SPEAKER_01: I mean, Chuba Hubbard, I was very wrong about him.
- 14:09SPEAKER_01: I was fading him so hard in drafts.
- 14:13SPEAKER_01: Um, but here we are, and he's the RB8 on the season.
- 14:17SPEAKER_01: I would be looking to definitely buy Chuba Hubbard if you can.
- 14:22SPEAKER_02: So trades that involve Chubba Hubbard.
- 14:25SPEAKER_02: Right now, sorry, Nico, your screen's frozen and you're making a funny face.
- 14:28SPEAKER_02: So if I start laughing, I apologize.
- 14:31SPEAKER_02: So Chubba Hubbard, one to one, Trey McBride.
- 14:35SPEAKER_02: Tip, are you taking that trade?
- 14:37SPEAKER_02: No, as in taking it as in you're you're keeping Trey McBride.
- 14:42SPEAKER_03: I I'm I'm gonna I'm gonna keep Trey McBride in that situation because Trey McBride is one of those players like a Brock Bowers.
- 14:50SPEAKER_03: Like you, you're gonna be well fired so much in advance of having that number one type tight end in that offense.
- 14:59SPEAKER_03: I no, I can't do I can't do a one for one for Chuba Hubbard on that one.
- 15:03SPEAKER_03: No, I'm gonna take I'm gonna keep Trey McBride, even though I want the running back, don't get me wrong, I want it, but I I want to get it, but that that's a different animal.
- 15:12SPEAKER_02: All right, Nika, what do you think?
- 15:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm going McBride here if you're talking one for one.
- 15:17SPEAKER_01: Um, obviously, if you're a team that you have someone like an Isaiah likely, or maybe you took McBride and got Kittle in the seventh or eighth round or something like that.
- 15:28SPEAKER_01: Like if you have the potential depth, I would consider it.
- 15:31SPEAKER_01: But if we're just talking, you know, one to one, give me McBride.
- 15:36SPEAKER_02: Honestly, I feel like running backs are so invaluable that even if I feel like Trey McBride might be a little bit better than him, I would still probably want Choba Hubbard in this situation because running backs are just so difficult to put in your starting lineup on a consistent basis.
- 15:51SPEAKER_03: Uh one you're right in saying that, but what is even more invaluable is that number one tight end or the possibility of having that number one tight end.
- 16:02SPEAKER_03: Um that that can really set you set you apart.
- 16:05SPEAKER_01: Um I mean it's like having a wide receiver one on your team, yeah.
- 16:09SPEAKER_03: And and and depending on how you constructed your team as well, because you you could be in a situation where you need a running back because you went heavy on the tight end, you went heavy on that wide receiver one, and now you're like, okay, I need to balance this thing out a little bit.
- 16:24SPEAKER_03: It's just with Trey McBride, I think you kind of overcompensate.
- 16:28SPEAKER_03: It's it's it's it's it's yes, I'm gonna have this opportunity to have a running back one or a top 10 running back.
- 16:36SPEAKER_03: Um, can it be sustained over the whole season?
- 16:39SPEAKER_03: That's a question.
- 16:40SPEAKER_03: And then we've seen it with Trey McBride.
- 16:42SPEAKER_03: So I mean it is a tougher one, but I think I lean uh like like you said, we leave we lean the other way uh than you matter, but it doesn't mean that it's wrong because it could be different scenarios.
- 16:53SPEAKER_02: You gotta look at that exactly.
- 16:55SPEAKER_02: So, hypothetically speaking, say uh you drafted Trey McBride early, and your RB1 is either Saquon, Marian Hampton, Devon A.
- 17:04SPEAKER_02: Chain.
- 17:04SPEAKER_03: Uh yeah.
- 17:06SPEAKER_03: Now now you're talking.
- 17:09SPEAKER_03: Now it's a different story.
- 17:10SPEAKER_03: But so so no, these are fun because you you I gotta and see people I want everybody to understand you have to also understand your scenario and the surrounding scenarios around uh like with your with your league mates, too.
- 17:23SPEAKER_02: Fair enough.
- 17:24SPEAKER_02: Okay, one last one, then we'll move on to the next player.
- 17:27SPEAKER_02: Chuba Hubbard one to one for Devontae Smith.
- 17:30SPEAKER_02: I feel like that's honestly a Chubba Hubbard no-brainer, but Nico, I'll let you start this one off.
- 17:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, this one hurts a little bit because I'm gonna say go with Chuba in this one.
- 17:38SPEAKER_01: Um, I was uh very wrong about what this Eagles offense could do with Sean Mannion uh calling the plays.
- 17:45SPEAKER_01: Uh, also, we'll go into it a little bit later um in the news and notes, but uh Lane Johnson retired that offensive line.
- 17:54SPEAKER_01: Uh, they also traded their uh guard who also plays center.
- 17:59SPEAKER_01: Um, it kind of feels like they're throwing in the white towel or the towel.
- 18:02SPEAKER_01: And if you can sell on Devontae Smith now and get yourself a top 15 running back in Chuba Hubbard, I would go ahead and do that.
- 18:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I would as well.
- 18:15SPEAKER_02: So, all righty.
- 18:18SPEAKER_02: Nico, who's your player?
- 18:23SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna go with uh DeAndre Swift, guys.
- 18:26SPEAKER_01: And he gets the Packers in week five.
- 18:29SPEAKER_01: Tip touched on it earlier.
- 18:30SPEAKER_01: Uh, they've allowed the second most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs, but even more so, the opportunity to buy low on him has been swung wide open because Kyle Manungay exploded for 150 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns last week against the Jets.
- 18:49SPEAKER_01: And a lot of it had to do because DeAndre Swift fumbled.
- 18:52SPEAKER_01: He had a really bad fumble, and he essentially got benched.
- 18:55SPEAKER_01: He only played 35% of the snaps in the game, and he still saw 15 carries.
- 19:00SPEAKER_01: But when you're looking under the hood, he's still elite in a lot of categories that really matter: 14th in rush attempts per game, sixth in attempts inside the 10-yard line, sixth in yards per carry, fifth in EPA per attempt, and fourth in yards after contact per attempt.
- 19:18SPEAKER_01: I mean, those are all elite numbers in the 80th percentile or better.
- 19:23SPEAKER_01: And he also had two touchdowns last week.
- 19:25SPEAKER_01: I don't know if you guys watched it live, but he had two touchdowns last week where it got reversed.
- 19:30SPEAKER_01: Like they were the call on the field was a touchdown, it was super close.
- 19:34SPEAKER_01: Honestly, I felt it could have been called either way.
- 19:36SPEAKER_01: Um, but at the end of the day, if you would have scored another touchdown, then you know your thoughts on him would have changed.
- 19:42SPEAKER_01: So, given how scarce the RB market is, um, I feel that this presents a buy low uh opportunity on DeAndre Swift and offense who who I still think is I still believe is the number one back.
- 19:56SPEAKER_01: I think last week was just kind of the Kyle Manung guy show, and they were just right, yeah.
- 20:01SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and and and it's the it's the Bears, they run the ball, so you both of them can eat, and I love it.
- 20:07SPEAKER_02: So let's see.
- 20:09SPEAKER_02: I I went through all the trades so far with DeAndre Swift involved, and there's a lot of good ones, but the one I'm gonna stick with is DeAndre Swift uh against one-on-one Christian Watson.
- 20:20SPEAKER_02: I feel like that's like a a nice even split where it could go either way and still be fair.
- 20:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I'm gonna go with us.
- 20:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I I think it's a very fair trade.
- 20:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's a fair trade.
- 20:34SPEAKER_01: It's a very fair trade.
- 20:35SPEAKER_01: I don't think there's a clear winner or loser.
- 20:37SPEAKER_01: Um, I think it just you know depends on your team makeup there and kind of how things are shaping out.
- 20:43SPEAKER_03: I think I would just rather if I if if I'm gonna be at all honest for fantasy purposes, I'd rather have parts of the Bears offense running game as opposed to the the passing game of the Packers.
- 20:54SPEAKER_03: I I you know, because it could be hit or miss, it could be weeks, and then if just uh if just Jacobs comes back, I mean I know it's a big if, but that could be another factor too.
- 21:03SPEAKER_03: So um, yeah, I um I I would like to have Swift.
- 21:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I agree.
- 21:09SPEAKER_02: Be when it's an even trade like this, I think the person who has the running back in this case has the slightest edge in this scenario.
- 21:16SPEAKER_02: Now, the sales.
- 21:18SPEAKER_02: This one sucks a little bit more to talk about just because it hurts.
- 21:22SPEAKER_02: But for me, I'm gonna have to go with Quinshawn Judkins because let's see, right now he is 26 in yards with 177, and he's currently averaging three yards per carry.
- 21:33SPEAKER_02: Now, there is one other RB that's fantasy productive, averaging three yards per carry, and it's Christian McCaffrey.
- 21:38SPEAKER_02: The only reason why he's productive.
- 21:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah, sorry, sorry.
- 21:41SPEAKER_02: The only reason why he's productive is he's just an elite pass catcher at this point that overly compensates for the fact that he's not rushing effectively.
- 21:48SPEAKER_02: And unfortunately, Judkins doesn't have anywhere near close a fraction for the the passing side.
- 21:56SPEAKER_02: So that makes it so it's like, okay, what's his ceiling on his run?
- 22:00SPEAKER_02: Value and his actual fantasy value.
- 22:02SPEAKER_02: Now he had a huge game against a good matchup, and that's where I'm gonna sell.
- 22:06SPEAKER_02: Hey, you can just sell high in this scenario, making it so you can get something better in return.
- 22:11SPEAKER_02: But tip, what do you think?
- 22:13SPEAKER_03: Yeah, no, Quinshawn Judkins is is a good one.
- 22:16SPEAKER_03: It's kind of a tricky one because he had a good game last week.
- 22:19SPEAKER_03: That was his first good game, uh, finally.
- 22:22SPEAKER_03: Um, so it's it's a tricky one.
- 22:24SPEAKER_03: Um, but you you know, it's the Cleveland Browns.
- 22:28SPEAKER_03: I think that their offense is gonna be doing just fine, but it's the Cleveland Browns, and it's just a little nerve-wracking having to deal with it.
- 22:36SPEAKER_03: But you know, hey, well, I'm curious to see some of the trades that were out there for it.
- 22:41SPEAKER_02: All righty.
- 22:42SPEAKER_02: So, Nico, you have any closing thoughts on that one before I hop into the trade market?
- 22:46SPEAKER_01: Uh, just some encouraging receiving work.
- 22:49SPEAKER_01: Uh, he saw seven targets last week.
- 22:51SPEAKER_01: Um, I he's more of a hold to me than a sell, but I I understand where you're coming from.
- 22:57SPEAKER_01: Anytime you're talking about the Browns after a good game, I get it.
- 23:01SPEAKER_01: I I can't argue too much.
- 23:03SPEAKER_01: Just just wanted to point out that he's been seeing a lot more receiving work, which should only raise his floor on a weekly basis.
- 23:10SPEAKER_02: All right, I mean, which which is something we would definitely want to see.
- 23:14SPEAKER_02: Going to the season, I was high on Judkins, so it's a little sad to say that.
- 23:17SPEAKER_02: Now, both on the trade markets, last one I did one for ones.
- 23:21SPEAKER_02: This one, I'm actually gonna switch it up a little bit for a two for one.
- 23:24SPEAKER_02: So, right now I'm looking at a Judkins and Justin Jefferson for Jonathan Taylor.
- 23:28SPEAKER_02: So a little two for one.
- 23:30SPEAKER_02: Nico, what do you think?
- 23:31SPEAKER_02: Who are you going for?
- 23:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah, give me Jonathan Taylor here.
- 23:34SPEAKER_01: Um, I mean, you have an opportunity to grab a top top five running back, uh, arguably top three running back.
- 23:41SPEAKER_01: Uh, Jonathan Taylor has been great on the season.
- 23:44SPEAKER_01: Uh, he is the guy, you know, Judkins and Jefferson.
- 23:48SPEAKER_01: I I feel it's a very fair trade.
- 23:50SPEAKER_01: Um, but give me the Jonathan Taylor side.
- 23:54unknown: Tip?
- 23:55SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, I I agree.
- 23:57SPEAKER_03: I you know, I I I want to disagree, but I think I I think you were right about Kyler Murray, um, Latter.
- 24:03SPEAKER_03: I really do.
- 24:04SPEAKER_03: I I I was trying to trying to you know talk it into existence, but he's just not that good.
- 24:11SPEAKER_03: I think he's just not that good.
- 24:12SPEAKER_02: He's not that good.
- 24:13SPEAKER_02: Alrighty.
- 24:14SPEAKER_02: So, of course, you know, while I'm on the high of being right, as always, we are gonna go into the news and notes of of course this week.
- 24:28SPEAKER_04: NFL headlines.
- 24:32SPEAKER_03: Wait, that are we we had some people who had some questions.
- 24:34SPEAKER_03: We had two questions.
- 24:35SPEAKER_02: Oh, that's right.
- 24:36SPEAKER_02: I'm an idiot.
- 24:37SPEAKER_02: You know what?
- 24:37SPEAKER_02: My fault, boys.
- 24:38SPEAKER_02: My fault, everybody.
- 24:39SPEAKER_02: You know what?
- 24:40SPEAKER_02: That's on me.
- 24:40SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna take the L.
- 24:42SPEAKER_02: So it's yeah, you're always right.
- 24:44SPEAKER_03: Now you're wrong.
- 24:45SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I said I'm taking the L.
- 24:47SPEAKER_02: I didn't say I was wrong.
- 24:47SPEAKER_02: I said I'm taking the it's two different scenarios.
- 24:50SPEAKER_02: So OG Fantasy Football asks, Are you are y'all selling Crosby?
- 24:54SPEAKER_02: I have to make sure to say y'all.
- 24:55SPEAKER_02: Are y'all selling Krosky?
- 24:57SPEAKER_02: I honestly thought Eckler looked better last week and he outraged him.
- 25:01SPEAKER_02: Also, hi Kelly.
- 25:02SPEAKER_02: Hi Kelly, how you doing over there?
- 25:04SPEAKER_02: Uh, also, shout out to Kelly in the background, making sure we all look professional, clean, and everything's moving crisply on the show.
- 25:11SPEAKER_02: So, shout out to Kelly in the background.
- 25:13SPEAKER_02: Um, but I would say yes, I would sell borderline draw.
- 25:18SPEAKER_02: I I wouldn't drop him, but he's definitely a sell and on the bench type of player.
- 25:22SPEAKER_02: Eckler is he outran or outrushed uh Bob or Bill, whatever you want to call him last week in London.
- 25:31SPEAKER_02: So uh there's no fantasy value to him.
- 25:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, I would be looking to sell him as well.
- 25:38SPEAKER_01: Um, he's an extremely inefficient runner behind a terrible offensive line.
- 25:43SPEAKER_01: They brought in Eckler, Rashad White uh should also be back, if not this week, presumably soon.
- 25:49SPEAKER_01: So if there is any value on the market for Bill, I would say go ahead and sell.
- 25:56SPEAKER_02: Yeah, there we go.
- 25:57SPEAKER_02: Tip.
- 25:58SPEAKER_03: No, I'm not I'm not gonna.
- 26:00SPEAKER_03: I I'm I'm getting him off my team.
- 26:02SPEAKER_03: Um, you know, Krosky Merritt is as as easy as I can.
- 26:06SPEAKER_03: I yeah, I'm trading him off.
- 26:08SPEAKER_03: I'm I am selling him big time.
- 26:09SPEAKER_03: Don't yeah, don't even waste your time.
- 26:11SPEAKER_03: We were that was a that he was a no-draft for me at the beginning of the season, anyway.
- 26:15SPEAKER_02: So yeah, yeah, there we go.
- 26:17SPEAKER_02: So let's see.
- 26:18SPEAKER_02: We also have another trade, as I just was pointed out, that I completely forgot to do tips and Nico's cells.
- 26:24SPEAKER_02: So we're gonna have to jump back on that one.
- 26:26SPEAKER_02: That's uh that's a that's an L on my part once again.
- 26:28SPEAKER_02: All right, we're double here on his high horse.
- 26:31SPEAKER_01: I know he's got all the right takes and everything.
- 26:34SPEAKER_03: Well, no, no, that Natter no Natter, no, to be fair, Natter does have a uh a flight to catch after this, so probably does have his mind on other things.
- 26:42SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, he ain't about to score nothing.
- 26:45SPEAKER_02: Literally, so let's see, Pedro Chavez 6 to 31 says trade Chase Brown tet for RJ Javi and K9 and Waddle.
- 26:54SPEAKER_02: Hell no, I don't like it.
- 26:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I would be so disrespected if somebody offered me that actually.
- 27:00SPEAKER_02: Chase Brown and um that actually I wouldn't say disrespected, but I wouldn't do it in that case, Nico.
- 27:07SPEAKER_01: Oh, dude, I'm taking K9 and Waddle for sure.
- 27:10SPEAKER_01: Well, I mean Kenneth Kenneth Walker, dude.
- 27:12SPEAKER_01: Kenneth Walker is I mean, he's breaking out in a massive way, yes, and sure there's gonna be a some potential regression, but at the same time, he's breaking out in a massive way.
- 27:23SPEAKER_01: And yes, I would probably slightly prefer Tet based on what we've seen from this Panthers offense, but Waddle's still a solid wide receiver, too.
- 27:31SPEAKER_01: So essentially, you're just paying chess Chase Brown and Harvey for K9, which I would take that trade, and then I view the Tet and Waddle as kind of like a minor downgrade, but it doesn't outweigh the upgrade that you're getting with Kenneth Walker.
- 27:47SPEAKER_01: I mean, I'm taking the Kenneth Walker side.
- 27:51SPEAKER_03: I he he makes some good points, Natter.
- 27:54SPEAKER_03: He does, he he really does, but I just can't Chase Brown in that in a in an offense who doesn't have T.
- 28:00SPEAKER_03: Higgins possibly this week or Jamar Chase.
- 28:04SPEAKER_03: I I think that it's gonna be a big Chase Brown week.
- 28:06SPEAKER_03: Tedaro McMillan, what he did 192 yards, two touchdowns.
- 28:10SPEAKER_03: This offense is humming.
- 28:12SPEAKER_03: This offense has found their number one wide receiver.
- 28:15SPEAKER_03: Um, RJ Harvey.
- 28:17SPEAKER_03: I that's just kind of a throwaway play or player for me.
- 28:20SPEAKER_03: I mean, kind of is what it is.
- 28:21SPEAKER_03: I do like the K9 factor, but I just man, I I just I want I want all the pieces of tetaro.
- 28:27SPEAKER_01: I can get well RJ Harvey also saw a ridiculous um amount of targets last week.
- 28:33SPEAKER_01: Uh he saw 10, although hauled in all 10 of them as well.
- 28:37SPEAKER_01: But no, and that's the thing.
- 28:39SPEAKER_01: I think it was kind of fluky.
- 28:44SPEAKER_02: You know, we could go on this one for hours.
- 28:46SPEAKER_02: This this one brought a different debate that we can go on for a while.
- 28:49SPEAKER_02: But you know what?
- 28:49SPEAKER_02: We got two sales that I completely move with whiffed on.
- 28:54SPEAKER_02: So Tit help us out here.
- 28:55SPEAKER_03: Yeah, okay.
- 28:56SPEAKER_03: Romeo Dobbs, I'll be real quick on this one, guys.
- 28:59SPEAKER_03: To go ahead and sell the high scoring game that he had last week.
- 29:02SPEAKER_03: He might have another high scoring game against my Raiders.
- 29:05SPEAKER_03: Uh, but what I will say is is go ahead and sell him because AJ Brown's coming back.
- 29:09SPEAKER_03: That you know once AJ Brown comes back, he's gonna be second, maybe even in a tertiary option uh in the passing game.
- 29:17SPEAKER_03: So, and then you got to worry about the Trevion Henderson, Ramondre Stevenson can catch passes too.
- 29:23SPEAKER_03: So, yeah, go ahead and sell him off of this high game that he had the last couple games he had actually.
- 29:28SPEAKER_03: Go ahead and sell him right now.
- 29:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and mine's pretty similar to Tip's in a sense that somebody will be coming back, and that is Rico Dowdle.
- 29:38SPEAKER_01: And I'm saying sell Jalen Moran.
- 29:40SPEAKER_01: Um, it's pretty simple, you know.
- 29:42SPEAKER_01: Dowdle will be back, and I believe they're gonna go back to a 50-50 time share somewhere in that ballpark.
- 29:49SPEAKER_01: Um, over the last two weeks, Warren has seen 90 plus of the snaps with Dowdle out.
- 29:54SPEAKER_01: Um, but the weeks that Dowdle was active, he had 10 and 11 carries.
- 29:59SPEAKER_01: So I know I know Warren is extremely efficient, he's a great runner, but if you can flip him for someone like Brees Hall, who's currently hurt, Bucky Irving, who's gonna have a down couple weeks without a Baker Mayfield, or even like a Tony Pollard to get yourself some more guaranteed volume.
- 30:15SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna go ahead and sell high on Jalen Warren after he's had two smash weeks without Rico in the lineup.
- 30:22SPEAKER_02: Which makes complete sense.
- 30:24SPEAKER_02: I mean, it's hard to even want somebody on the Dolphins, but of course, you know, I'm not gonna hit the news in those drops.
- 30:29SPEAKER_02: Sorry.
- 30:31SPEAKER_02: Jalen Warren.
- 30:32SPEAKER_02: Come on now, Steelers.
- 30:33SPEAKER_02: Steelers, dude.
- 30:34SPEAKER_02: I'm taking this.
- 30:35SPEAKER_02: This is like L trade now.
- 30:37SPEAKER_01: Are you already jet-legged?
- 30:39SPEAKER_02: Literally, how did I go from like the high of like having two correct preseason takes a sale?
- 30:45SPEAKER_02: Literally, this is this is bad, but of course, anyway, we're not gonna hit the drop again for the news and notes because I already whiffed on that one the first time.
- 30:53SPEAKER_02: I don't want to do it again, but Nico, just go into it.
- 30:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'll be quick.
- 30:58SPEAKER_01: I know we're Chatty Kathy's today, which is fine.
- 31:01SPEAKER_01: Um, but Lamar Jackson has an outside chance to play in week five.
- 31:04SPEAKER_01: He injured his ankle, um, close to halftime, uh, really, uh leading up to that game.
- 31:10SPEAKER_01: Joe Mixon failed his physical, and the Seahawks decided to uh not sign him after bringing him in, despite multiple reports that they were gonna add him.
- 31:19SPEAKER_01: Uh Tip mentioned it earlier, Jamar Chase and T.
- 31:22SPEAKER_01: Higgins, uh both dealing with injuries, concussion for Chase, and Higgins suffered an abductor injury considered day to day.
- 31:30SPEAKER_01: Um, Saquon Barkley, he did his hamstring really early in the Rams game, considered week to week.
- 31:36SPEAKER_01: Uh Will Shipley was obviously a pretty hot waiver wire commodity uh last night.
- 31:41SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, Tip, I kind of want to check in on you about that Raiders game.
- 31:52SPEAKER_03: Hey, we we fought we fought to the very end.
- 31:56SPEAKER_03: That's all I can say.
- 31:57SPEAKER_03: And I was, you know, I I after that second Kenneth Walker touchdown, I was like, damn, this isn't gonna be good, but we fought and we fought our way back.
- 32:05SPEAKER_03: So now the question is, how are we gonna bounce back from that?
- 32:08SPEAKER_03: And I think we will in a big way.
- 32:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's a tough schedule coming up.
- 32:12SPEAKER_01: But the reason I bring it up is Rasheed Rice uh did his hamstring, he's believed to be relatively minor.
- 32:18SPEAKER_01: The Chiefs are on a bye this week, so it does give him a chance to rest it up.
- 32:22SPEAKER_01: Uh Taekwond Thornton really did his ankle.
- 32:24SPEAKER_01: I mean, that thing was sitting at 90 degrees.
- 32:27SPEAKER_01: Uh, you know, definitely a gruesome scene uh to watch.
- 32:30SPEAKER_01: Um, Tyreek Hill might be making a comeback soon.
- 32:33SPEAKER_01: Uh Hill's agent, um Kelly.
- 32:40SPEAKER_01: Do you not like Tyreek?
- 32:42SPEAKER_01: I I maybe we'll take that offline and talk about it sometime.
- 32:46SPEAKER_01: But um just keep your eyes peeled for Tyreek, obviously, with all the injury news to the Chiefs wide receivers.
- 32:52SPEAKER_01: Chiefs seem to be a good fit.
- 32:53SPEAKER_01: Uh Lad McConkey still dealing with a foot injury that he re-aggravated in Seattle.
- 32:58SPEAKER_01: Uh Jaden Daniels on track to start week five against the Giants.
- 33:02SPEAKER_01: Uh, Marcus Mariota suffered an MCL strain.
- 33:05SPEAKER_01: Tank Dell um is expected to open uh the 21-day practice window um as he continues to work back from his knee injury.
- 33:13SPEAKER_01: Uh Tyson Bajent will be starting for the Bears again, and I hinted at it earlier.
- 33:18SPEAKER_01: Lane Johnson retired.
- 33:20SPEAKER_01: Uh, I mean, obviously, this isn't an injury story, um, but a six-time Pro Bowler, two-time all-pro tackle announced his uh retirement immediately on Tuesday, four games into his 14th NFL season.
- 33:34SPEAKER_01: I don't know if you just didn't want to take the trip to London or there's just bad juju going around in that Eagles locker room, but not good for the Eagles.
- 33:43SPEAKER_01: So, guys, I don't know if you have any feedback or if you feel that I missed anything on the news and notes that you want to hint at.
- 33:49SPEAKER_01: Um, any any thoughts around that?
- 33:51SPEAKER_03: Yeah, one thing that happened a little bit later this afternoon was uh Odell Beckham, he signed with the Vikings on the practice squad there.
- 33:59SPEAKER_03: Um, that's just a little minor something you might want to keep your eye on because I mean he is playing.
- 34:04SPEAKER_03: There's a need at wide receiver uh for the Vikings, especially if Jay Jett is out.
- 34:09SPEAKER_03: And then he's going to play back home in New Orleans.
- 34:12SPEAKER_03: I think that's where he's from.
- 34:13SPEAKER_03: I know he's from Louisiana somewhere.
- 34:14SPEAKER_03: So anyway, uh he's going back to Louisiana.
- 34:17SPEAKER_03: So um that could be something to to keep your eye on if you're really in a desperate spot.
- 34:22SPEAKER_03: But um, that that's all that's all that I noticed.
- 34:25SPEAKER_03: Everything else was there's a lot of uh there's a lot of injuries, and there's a lot of people coming back, possibly too.
- 34:31SPEAKER_03: So so we got to keep an eye on that.
- 34:33SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 34:34SPEAKER_02: So I mean that is a long news and notes, which of course a lot of it is injury related, unfortunately.
- 34:40SPEAKER_02: But of course, if you aren't on the socials, as you should be by now, of course, at FF Space Pod on X, YouTube, Spotify, or any type of podcasting or streaming platform, to make sure you hit that subscribe, like the video, and comment down below on exactly what you want to see next.
- 34:57SPEAKER_02: Because, of course, on the socials, we had the whole waiver wire listing that made sure that you are ahead on waivers because, of course, as you guys know, this show is live on Wednesday, 9 p.m.
- 35:08SPEAKER_02: Eastern, which makes it so it processes after waiver.
- 35:12SPEAKER_02: So, of course, you want to be on the socials so you can post that, and then of course, you can be ahead on of course the waiver wire listing.
- 35:19SPEAKER_02: So, of course, without further ado, we got actually, you know what, let me make sure that uh I didn't forget anything before I take a third or fourth L.
- 35:29SPEAKER_02: No, no, you good, you you're good.
- 35:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you're good.
- 35:32SPEAKER_01: Fired away.
- 35:33SPEAKER_01: That's up.
- 35:45SPEAKER_02: Hey, I all I'm saying.
- 35:48SPEAKER_02: Thank you, thank you.
- 35:49SPEAKER_02: All I'm saying is we've been kind of killing it on the starts and sits, minus somebody who recommended an RBD kit in the 15th Pokemon.
- 36:00SPEAKER_02: I I won't we I won't name any names on that one, but Nico, start it off on the starts.
- 36:04SPEAKER_01: Well, now I'm curious what our starts and sits were for last week.
- 36:07SPEAKER_02: You don't want to know.
- 36:08SPEAKER_01: Uh fair.
- 36:09SPEAKER_03: I can tell you actually, yeah, I can tell you just really quick.
- 36:13SPEAKER_03: Yeah, no, so so so last week.
- 36:15SPEAKER_03: Um you said start Josh Downs.
- 36:19SPEAKER_03: That was uh Kelly K.
- 36:20SPEAKER_03: We get a womp, womp, womp, womp.
- 36:22SPEAKER_03: Um, but you also did say you said you said to play Tyler Shuck, he did pretty well.
- 36:29SPEAKER_03: Um, Natter gave Michael Wilson, I gave Teddero McMillan.
- 36:33SPEAKER_03: Uh those were our starts last week.
- 36:35SPEAKER_01: So pretty decent.
- 36:36SPEAKER_01: Whoa, I gotta pick up the slack.
- 36:38SPEAKER_01: I guess all my slacks over on the picket picks of the week, which we'll get into.
- 36:42SPEAKER_01: But um, no, I'm gonna give you my start of the week, and it's Michael Wilson.
- 36:48SPEAKER_01: Now, I just want to admit right out of the gate, I was wrong about him coming into the season, but I am 100% changing my tune.
- 36:55SPEAKER_01: He is the alpha wide receiver one in Arizona.
- 36:59SPEAKER_01: He's playing 90% plus of the snaps and is fifth in targets per game, third in inside the 20 targets per game, seventh in routes per game, 22nd in fantasy points per game, but he's eighth in expected fantasy points per game.
- 37:14SPEAKER_01: There is positive regression coming from what's already been a good season.
- 37:19SPEAKER_01: And this week he gets the dream matchup.
- 37:22SPEAKER_01: He gets the Lions defense that literally can't stop a nosebleed right now.
- 37:27SPEAKER_01: They just let Tet McMillan have a career night on national television, going 14 catches, 192 yards, and two touchdowns and 38 fantasy points.
- 37:37SPEAKER_01: They allowed 16 plus fantasy points to Devon Vele, Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson on top of Tet's legacy game.
- 37:45SPEAKER_01: Michael Wilson, he's getting the volume.
- 37:48SPEAKER_01: The matchup is perfect.
- 37:49SPEAKER_01: Michael is an absolute smash must start.
- 38:06SPEAKER_01: Oh, that was great.
- 38:08SPEAKER_01: That was great.
- 38:08SPEAKER_03: You you tugged at Kelly's heartstrings with that.
- 38:11SPEAKER_03: That was awesome.
- 38:13SPEAKER_02: I mean, that's two cardinals in a row because last week I think I I dipped on him as well.
- 38:17SPEAKER_02: And now, yeah, you.
- 38:18SPEAKER_02: I mean, at this point, some of us is someone's gonna have to say Trey McBride next at this point.
- 38:23SPEAKER_02: Um, well, side note, I feel like tip started him every week.
- 38:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah, exactly.
- 38:28SPEAKER_02: I mean, at this point, yeah, he's every week starter.
- 38:30SPEAKER_02: But now, I mean, tip, I feel like he cheated.
- 38:32SPEAKER_02: He said Tet, and Tet is must start every week as well.
- 38:35SPEAKER_02: So, you know what?
- 38:36SPEAKER_02: I'm just saying, I'm just saying he had a slim dog as a pick.
- 38:39SPEAKER_01: No, he's forgetting about his uh 2.7 uh three.
- 38:45SPEAKER_01: And before that, he he's not he hasn't scored more than 12 fantasy points per uh in any of weeks one through three, and he was coming off a 2.7.
- 38:53SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's don't don't don't dog my start.
- 38:55SPEAKER_03: See, you haven't been dogging my starts talking about he started he said start B.
- 39:01SPEAKER_03: John Robinson, yeah.
- 39:03SPEAKER_03: Come on now, man.
- 39:05SPEAKER_03: You were halfway there.
- 39:06SPEAKER_01: All right, so literally started someone who had the best game of his career.
- 39:10SPEAKER_01: Give the man his flowers.
- 39:13SPEAKER_02: He likes the writers, he didn't get in flowers.
- 39:16SPEAKER_02: Um, so my guy, you know, I'm going off on a limb here and trying to pick the fringe players in your lineups, and Carnell Tate is who I'm going after.
- 39:26SPEAKER_02: And it feels weird to say that the Houston Texans defense is getting decimated by wide receivers, more importantly, slot wide receivers.
- 39:35SPEAKER_02: Because I mean, you saw Jamar Chase destroy them, you saw CeeDee Lamb majority of the game play in the slot and absolutely decimate them in his career year.
- 39:44SPEAKER_02: And now even DJ Morey had a good game against him.
- 39:47SPEAKER_02: And you guys know I don't even like the guy.
- 39:49SPEAKER_02: So, of course, Conor L Tate putting him in your fantasy lineup, especially in the flex spot, wide receiver three.
- 39:56SPEAKER_02: I feel like it is a safe floor, which is really weird to say against the Houston Texans defense.
- 40:02SPEAKER_02: But right now, all points says go.
- 40:07SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I you didn't get a Whitney Houston on that one, but I mean, yeah, it's it's it was a good one.
- 40:12SPEAKER_03: It's it's definitely uh a good call because the Texans have been struggling against those slot wide receivers, they've been struggling against the middle of the field, so like slot receivers, tight ends, like they've been doing work against them.
- 40:26SPEAKER_03: Uh, so I do like that one, dude.
- 40:28SPEAKER_01: I was digging around this morning, and the Texans they've allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers.
- 40:39SPEAKER_01: I I really like this one.
- 40:40SPEAKER_01: I I yeah, good pick.
- 40:42SPEAKER_01: I I brought my thoughts on it the other night, and I like it.
- 40:46SPEAKER_03: Now, I do there is one thing I will caution you everybody on this one.
- 40:50SPEAKER_03: Uh, D'Amico Ryan.
- 40:51SPEAKER_03: Now, this may not mean anything, but D'Amico Ryan has taken over the play calling duties on the defensive side.
- 40:57SPEAKER_03: So he is taking a challenge.
- 40:59SPEAKER_03: Uh, they're 0-4, their defenses look terrible.
- 41:02SPEAKER_03: He is taking this as a challenge.
- 41:04SPEAKER_03: So I think he's gonna be in that lab a little bit longer this week.
- 41:07SPEAKER_03: Um, I'm still thinking I still like Carnot Tate, but but that's the only that's the only that's the only concern.
- 41:13SPEAKER_02: All right, now before yes, now we are gonna go to tips, but just as a quick side note as a mini rebuttal to the rebuttal is that uh in week four, actually week three, D'Mico Ryan was play calling.
- 41:25SPEAKER_02: He actually relieved play call duties to the coordinator and then their defense elevated.
- 41:30SPEAKER_02: So this year it's actually the opposite.
- 41:31SPEAKER_02: But anyway, Tip, give us your player.
- 41:33SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 41:34SPEAKER_03: So for me, Natter, this one's for you.
- 41:36SPEAKER_03: Jackson Smith and Jigba is no, I'm just kidding.
- 41:39SPEAKER_03: Uh Malik Neighbors.
- 41:41SPEAKER_03: I was still like, wow.
- 41:45SPEAKER_03: Uh right.
- 41:46SPEAKER_03: He's always acting like, come on, man.
- 41:48SPEAKER_03: No, but Malik Neighbors, though, this guy, you know, he has struggled the first few weeks of the day.
- 41:53SPEAKER_03: What did he say?
- 41:55SPEAKER_03: And it was more because it was more because of him ramping up, you know.
- 42:00SPEAKER_03: And last week we saw the ramp up period.
- 42:03SPEAKER_03: We saw him finally gain confidence in that knee.
- 42:06SPEAKER_03: So now we're looking at a player who already is uber talented and now is showing confidence and got a quarterback who, you know, he'll throw the ball to any and everybody, literally, even the defense.
- 42:18SPEAKER_03: Uh, so like now you're looking at a situation with Malik Neighbors where he can easily duplicate what he did last week, and now he gets to go against the Washington Commanders.
- 42:27SPEAKER_03: The Washington Commanders have allowed 38 PPR points to the wide receiver position.
- 42:33SPEAKER_03: That's the second most in the NFL right now.
- 42:36SPEAKER_03: And you know, with Jameis Winston and his YOLO balls, those are gonna be oh, that didn't sound right, but his yellow throws.
- 42:43SPEAKER_03: There we go.
- 42:43SPEAKER_03: Uh that it's yellow throws.
- 42:45SPEAKER_03: They are neighbors is gonna come down with at least a couple of those grabs, and maybe one of those falls into the end.
- 42:50SPEAKER_03: I was about to score.
- 42:54SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
- 42:55SPEAKER_02: Sorry, I I I I got lost that.
- 42:57SPEAKER_02: Oh, yellow balls down.
- 42:58SPEAKER_03: Yellow balls didn't sound right.
- 42:59SPEAKER_02: I was like, oh, I was I wasn't gonna say it until you did, but now that you did, I feel fear feel pretty comfortable doing it.
- 43:07SPEAKER_02: Uh Nico.
- 43:10SPEAKER_02: Uh sorry, sorry.
- 43:11SPEAKER_02: I again what I'm taking like the biggest L's right now.
- 43:14SPEAKER_02: I'm like off track.
- 43:15SPEAKER_02: I know I was about to go to Nico.
- 43:16SPEAKER_02: Who's your start?
- 43:17SPEAKER_02: And then I realized, wait, hold on.
- 43:18SPEAKER_02: Once again, taking the L.
- 43:20SPEAKER_01: Uh well, here, how about this?
- 43:21SPEAKER_01: Why don't you give us your sit and tell the people why you're picking this guy?
- 43:26SPEAKER_01: How about that?
- 43:27SPEAKER_02: Oh, thank you.
- 43:28SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
- 43:29SPEAKER_02: I appreciate it.
- 43:29SPEAKER_02: So let's see, I'm going Jawski Jakari Krosky Merritt.
- 43:34SPEAKER_02: I can't, I'm that's why I'm going with Bill.
- 43:36SPEAKER_02: What did he say?
- 43:38SPEAKER_02: I can't say his name.
- 43:39SPEAKER_02: I could never do it.
- 43:41SPEAKER_01: The highs and lows of matter.
- 43:42SPEAKER_01: You said it, you really said it.
- 43:44SPEAKER_02: I it was a lucky.
- 43:46SPEAKER_02: I can't do it again.
- 43:46SPEAKER_02: Jakori.
- 43:47SPEAKER_02: Jakori.
- 43:50SPEAKER_02: Bill, there we go.
- 43:51SPEAKER_02: I mean, he looked bad.
- 43:53SPEAKER_02: He he's averaging like 2.7 yards per carry last time I checked, and he got outplayed by all.
- 44:00SPEAKER_02: Austin Eckler, who just signed on the team, traveled all the way to London, knew like four plays in the playbook, and he outrushed.
- 44:06SPEAKER_03: Kelly met Kelly talked to him too.
- 44:09SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 44:09SPEAKER_02: I mean, that's probably why it's probably why Kelly was like, Hey, just do better next time.
- 44:12SPEAKER_02: And he was like, you know what?
- 44:13SPEAKER_02: You're right.
- 44:14SPEAKER_02: And he listened.
- 44:14SPEAKER_02: So it's all good.
- 44:15SPEAKER_02: At this point, you will probably want Austin Eckler on your roster rather than uh Bill.
- 44:21SPEAKER_02: And that makes it so not only is he a sit, but he's basically a borderline drop at this point.
- 44:29SPEAKER_01: I can't disagree.
- 44:30SPEAKER_01: I mean, I don't know how you can start a guy that you know is literally 45th in yards per carry, 41st in EPA per attempt.
- 44:38SPEAKER_01: I mean, his metrics are like very red, very red.
- 44:45SPEAKER_01: And the matchup itself, you know, the Giants, they're not elite, they're not great.
- 44:50SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, I wouldn't confidently be starting him.
- 44:53SPEAKER_01: So I I can get behind that.
- 44:55SPEAKER_01: There we go.
- 44:56SPEAKER_01: Tip.
- 44:57SPEAKER_01: Unless Tip has any strong thoughts about JCM.
- 45:01SPEAKER_03: Not at all.
- 45:02SPEAKER_03: None whatsoever.
- 45:04SPEAKER_01: Fair, fair.
- 45:05SPEAKER_01: Well, here, I'll give you my sit.
- 45:07SPEAKER_01: And this one hurts a little bit.
- 45:09SPEAKER_01: You want to talk about you know plucking up plucking on uh hard strings and whatnot.
- 45:13SPEAKER_01: This one hurts because I have a lot of shares of this guy and was much higher on this guy than consensus going into drafts, and it's Brock Purdy.
- 45:24SPEAKER_01: Uh Brock, oh poor Brock.
- 45:27SPEAKER_01: Brock has been really great this year.
- 45:30SPEAKER_01: There is no denying that.
- 45:32SPEAKER_01: I mean, he's first in EPA per dropback, second in fantasy points per game.
- 45:36SPEAKER_01: He's first in passing TDs.
- 45:38SPEAKER_01: I could go on and on, but this guy is absolutely lighting it up.
- 45:41SPEAKER_01: But this week, the situation could not be any worse for him.
- 45:46SPEAKER_01: He travels to Seattle, which has allowed the second fewest fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks.
- 45:51SPEAKER_01: Mike Evans is out there basically, you know, playing like a 50-year-old grandpa.
- 45:56SPEAKER_01: Like he's playing 50% or so of the snaps the last three weeks.
- 46:00SPEAKER_01: The wide receiver room is extremely banged up, limiting Brock's upside.
- 46:04SPEAKER_01: We saw a bit of regression with Brock uh last week, but a 56-yard TD to Kittle on a screen pass salvaged his fantasy output for week four.
- 46:15SPEAKER_01: You know, when you're as good as Brock has been, regression to the mean is inevitable.
- 46:21SPEAKER_01: And this matchup sets up for it.
- 46:24SPEAKER_01: I have Brock in a lot of leagues, and I'm actually starting Jacoby Brissett over him in a handful of spots because of this matchup.
- 46:31SPEAKER_01: You can still start Brock if you need to, but if you do, just know that last year versus Seattle in week 18, he had 6.18 fantasy points in the divisional round in the playoffs.
- 46:42SPEAKER_01: He had 6.3.
- 46:43SPEAKER_01: He's projected for 17, but I would project him for much lower than that.
- 46:47SPEAKER_01: Brock Purdy, take a seat, take a seat, sweet prince.
- 46:52SPEAKER_01: Get your rest.
- 46:53SPEAKER_01: I'll see you next week.
- 46:55SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I mean, you're talking about a guy in the NFC.
- 46:57SPEAKER_02: I think it was the NFC Championship game instead of divisional.
- 46:59SPEAKER_01: I might be wrong on that end, but um well, considering the it was Rams and Seahawks, wasn't it?
- 47:08SPEAKER_02: Was it?
- 47:08SPEAKER_02: I don't remember.
- 47:09SPEAKER_02: It was one of the two.
- 47:10SPEAKER_02: It was a divisional matchup, of course.
- 47:11SPEAKER_02: It was the the the the fight of the West, but I think the stat was he crossed the 50-yard line once that game, and if if anywhere replicates anywhere near that, he is not gonna put up fantasy football points.
- 47:25SPEAKER_02: That's just not a matchup where you're set up to succeed.
- 47:28SPEAKER_01: Tip, yeah, it was it was the divisional.
- 47:30SPEAKER_03: It was the divisional.
- 47:31SPEAKER_02: Divisional.
- 47:32SPEAKER_02: What do I know?
- 47:33SPEAKER_03: To me, this is just one I just want to stay away from.
- 47:36SPEAKER_03: I mean, there's a lot of familiarity with this, and then you got the offensive coordinator who is now at Seattle.
- 47:45SPEAKER_03: He used to be the uh he used to be in line with Shanahan just last year.
- 47:50SPEAKER_03: I think his name is Fury, or I can't remember his name, but it's there's a lot of different elements in here, and it can become one of those games where we're like, damn, man, there was I you know, I wish I had you know somebody like Brock Purdy or you know, or I wish I didn't sit Emmanuel Sanders or Emmanuel Wilson or whatever.
- 48:08SPEAKER_03: Like, I I don't know.
- 48:10SPEAKER_03: This is kind of a weird one for me, but I like the I like the fact that you know you're being bold saying sit Brock Purdy because he does not have good history against the Seattle Seahawks.
- 48:19SPEAKER_03: And how could you right now, the way they're playing, they're playing lights out defense, man.
- 48:23SPEAKER_03: Other than that commander's game a couple weeks ago, they are playing like lights out defense, they're doing a good job.
- 48:30SPEAKER_02: So now give us your sit player tip.
- 48:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so for me, um it's not really a sit.
- 48:37SPEAKER_03: I mean, you know, depending on your scenario and your situation, but I'm telling you to beware of James Cook.
- 48:45SPEAKER_03: Uh yeah, yes, James Cook, that guy.
- 48:48SPEAKER_03: And the reason I'm telling you to beware is because they're going against the Los Angeles Rams.
- 48:52SPEAKER_03: There's two teams in the NFL right now who have not allowed a touchdown to running backs.
- 48:58SPEAKER_03: And those two teams are, you guessed it, the Los Angeles Rams.
- 49:02SPEAKER_03: And I bet you guys couldn't guess the other one because I looked at it and I was like, what?
- 49:07SPEAKER_03: But I'll go ahead and tell everybody it's the Cleveland Browns.
- 49:10SPEAKER_03: What?
- 49:11SPEAKER_03: Uh so those two teams, right?
- 49:13SPEAKER_03: Those two teams have not allowed a rushing touchdown in this young season, but we're in week five.
- 49:19SPEAKER_03: And so now you go against James Cook.
- 49:22SPEAKER_03: But I got one to even throw at you even crazier.
- 49:25SPEAKER_03: When the Rams are home in this season, they are only allowing 52 total rushing yards.
- 49:33SPEAKER_03: That's 52 total rushing yards amongst running backs, wide receiver, whoever is running the ball, they are stopping them.
- 49:42SPEAKER_03: And 52 total rushing rushing temps, uh rush yards allowed tells me I'm out.
- 49:47SPEAKER_03: I'm out.
- 49:49SPEAKER_03: They already may not have a DJ more.
- 49:52SPEAKER_03: I understand Keon Coleman.
- 49:54SPEAKER_03: They're gonna have to rely a lot on um uh Josh Allen and in in this one in order for this game because I think they're gonna do everything they can to take James Cook out of this game.
- 50:10SPEAKER_02: I mean, I'm still starting.
- 50:16SPEAKER_03: Well, no, it it's a beware, and and there's caveats, and this is a caveat.
- 50:21SPEAKER_03: It's it's letting you know that you're gonna you're gonna start him as a number one, you're gonna start him as your number one running back, but he's gonna end up giving you flex flex points, and you're gonna be a little upset at that, but that's just the name of the game in this situation.
- 50:35SPEAKER_03: I'm just letting him temper those expectations this week.
- 50:40SPEAKER_02: This guy, hey, you know what?
- 50:41SPEAKER_02: Hey, let me just say a RB1 fringe player, and then if he does well, then it doesn't matter because he's an RB1 fringe, but if he does bad, then I can be like, see, yeah, I said an RB1 fringe player was gonna have a midweek anyway.
- 50:53SPEAKER_02: It's a good call.
- 50:54SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but it doesn't matter because you're still starting him anyway.
- 50:57SPEAKER_02: You know what?
- 50:57SPEAKER_02: I'm not gonna fight.
- 51:04SPEAKER_03: There may be a scenario where you're that stacked of a team.
- 51:07SPEAKER_03: I'm talking to 18 team leagues, 10 team leagues, where you're like, Well, you know what?
- 51:12SPEAKER_03: This is a really bad matchup.
- 51:13SPEAKER_03: Maybe I will see if they stick this one.
- 51:15SPEAKER_02: All right, but before we go into the crusty picks, we do have some questions that Kelly was nice enough to put up on the screen.
- 51:20SPEAKER_02: So, test test tip one, two, three says, What do you guys think about Devontae Smith, King Henry, and Carnell Tate for Jettis, Genty, and Shipley?
- 51:29SPEAKER_02: My other RBs are Gibbs and Hampton, and my wide receivers and Waddle, Coker, and Rome.
- 51:34SPEAKER_02: Well, if those are your wide receivers, throw in the towel.
- 51:37SPEAKER_02: Um, you're definitely gonna want to keep Devontae Smith and Carnell Tate, in my personal opinion, because you just need wide receivers.
- 51:44SPEAKER_02: Sure, you get Jettis.
- 51:45SPEAKER_02: I think Jettis is bad this year, but I mean, if you're going with Jettis, Waddle and Coker as your wide receivers going into the season, I feel like you're you're not set up to succeed.
- 51:54SPEAKER_02: But what do you guys think, real quick?
- 51:59SPEAKER_03: The the Coker one, the coker one is is is the big question, Mark, because if he can get back to health, um, which hasn't been his case, um I think that you know you you could be okay with this.
- 52:14SPEAKER_03: Um, but yeah, I'm kind of with you, man.
- 52:17SPEAKER_03: I King Henry, King King Henry's gonna be a key factor too, but I I don't know.
- 52:24SPEAKER_03: For so so wait, this person would have to give a go ahead and Nico.
- 52:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I was gonna say I'm pretty confidently taking the Devontae Smith, uh, Derrick Henry, and Carnell Tate side of this trade.
- 52:36SPEAKER_01: You know, I kind of view it from a standpoint of, you know, I'd rather have King Henry over Ashton Genty right now.
- 52:43SPEAKER_01: You know, obviously I'd rather have Jettas over Devontae Smith, but Shipley to me is kind of the the key piece of this trade where it's like I don't think much of him.
- 52:53SPEAKER_01: And you're you have a clear advantage of Carnell Tate over Shipley.
- 52:57SPEAKER_01: So I would go ahead and take the Smith Henry Tate side of this trade.
- 53:02SPEAKER_02: Fully agree.
- 53:03SPEAKER_02: Now we have another quick one sitting Schimpley.
- 53:05SPEAKER_02: Yes or no boys facing Jacksonville, third toughest defense versus Arby's.
- 53:10SPEAKER_02: I think, yeah, unless you really don't have a better option, and that's a tough one to like sit there and justify.
- 53:17SPEAKER_02: I'd probably want to sit.
- 53:19SPEAKER_01: I think if you need to start him in a double flex league, I think as your second flex, I think that's okay.
- 53:27SPEAKER_01: Um, yes, the Jags are elite on the ground.
- 53:30SPEAKER_01: I mean, like J So said, like top three, but Shipley is kind of known as a receiving back.
- 53:37SPEAKER_01: I could see him kind of being a PPR merchant, you know.
- 53:40SPEAKER_01: So for me, it would have to be a two-flex league plus PPR to even consider him as a potential start.
- 53:48SPEAKER_01: And there are leagues like that.
- 53:49SPEAKER_01: I'm in one, so yeah, yeah, you know, like I lost for me.
- 53:52SPEAKER_03: It's gotta be an 18 team man league, and you know, I gotta be that put me in my third flex, and then I mean no, I mean I don't know, man.
- 54:02SPEAKER_03: I don't, you know, I'm starting to feel about these Eagles like I'm feeling about these Miami, or I felt about those Miami Dolphins.
- 54:08SPEAKER_03: I don't want any of them on my team right now, man.
- 54:11SPEAKER_03: It sucks because I have Jay Larts on a few of them, and you know, yeah, I'm done.
- 54:18SPEAKER_02: Thank you for the timer, Kelly.
- 54:20SPEAKER_02: He was rambling.
- 54:21SPEAKER_02: Uh I was not.
- 54:23SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you were right.
- 54:23SPEAKER_02: You were rambling, you were rambling.
- 54:26SPEAKER_02: The crusty pixels, wrap it on home.
- 54:34SPEAKER_02: There we go.
- 54:34SPEAKER_02: So we got the results so far, all the way up to le week four.
- 54:38SPEAKER_02: I took the yell saying that Trevor Lawrence was gonna have more than two touchdowns.
- 54:43SPEAKER_02: He decided to have one and then just kneel and just have rushing touchdowns.
- 54:47SPEAKER_02: But everybody else is doing really good so far.
- 54:49SPEAKER_02: So congrats to you guys.
- 54:50SPEAKER_02: You're doing better than me.
- 54:51SPEAKER_02: I'm taking the yellow so far.
- 54:53SPEAKER_02: But yeah, you know what?
- 54:54SPEAKER_01: I mean, as a squad, we're doing pretty good, guys.
- 54:57SPEAKER_01: Let's keep it up.
- 54:59SPEAKER_01: Um, I'll go first.
- 55:00SPEAKER_01: Uh, and tip kind of hinted at it earlier when he was talking about James Cook.
- 55:04SPEAKER_01: I mean, the Rams have allowed the uh second fewest points to fantasy uh opposing running backs.
- 55:10SPEAKER_01: So I'm gonna go with Josh Allen over 279 and a half combined rushing and receiving.
- 55:17SPEAKER_01: I believe he is going to put on the superman cape in prime time.
- 55:22SPEAKER_01: We see this all the time with elite talent, especially like Allen.
- 55:26SPEAKER_01: You know, they're not only matchup proof, but when the going gets tough, they get going.
- 55:31SPEAKER_01: Uh Allen has hit this mark in uh has not hit this mark in the last two games.
- 55:36SPEAKER_01: Um, and after a week four loss to the Patriots on Monday night, he's gonna have to do a lot.
- 55:41SPEAKER_01: The only caveat to me is if DJ Moore doesn't play, I don't love this play as much.
- 55:47SPEAKER_01: Um, but given we're a live show on Wednesday night, I'm gonna go with Josh Allen over 280 combined rushing and passing yards for week five.
- 55:57SPEAKER_03: Yeah, hopefully that me is healthy too.
- 55:59SPEAKER_02: He should be all right.
- 56:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he's a tough, he's a tough cookie.
- 56:03SPEAKER_02: He's a tough cookie.
- 56:04SPEAKER_02: So so unfortunately, I had mines down, and then me and Jay Snow, uh, apparently we're on the same wavelength because he also had in the comment previously, he said we need Purdy to have over 19 rushing yards.
- 56:16SPEAKER_02: And I have now Purdy's over on 19 and a half rushing yards against Seattle.
- 56:21SPEAKER_02: I feel like you know the wide receivers are gonna get locked up, which makes that he's just gonna have to make something happen with those legs.
- 56:27SPEAKER_02: And he had a long run last week called back.
- 56:30SPEAKER_02: And I feel like this is only going to help elevate the offense if he runs a little bit, 19 yards over.
- 56:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, for me, for me, this one this one's pretty simple, pretty easy.
- 56:42SPEAKER_03: I like the other ones that you guys have out there.
- 56:44SPEAKER_03: So so follow us on these, man.
- 56:46SPEAKER_03: Uh Amonra St.
- 56:47SPEAKER_03: Brown over 78 and a half rushing or uh receiving yards, excuse me.
- 56:51SPEAKER_03: Um, this is a shootout city.
- 56:53SPEAKER_03: Uh Drew Petsing gets to play against his old team, gets to travel to Arizona and play against his or coach against his old team.
- 57:02SPEAKER_03: So he'll be fired up for that.
- 57:03SPEAKER_03: Um, that's gonna be something good to watch.
- 57:05SPEAKER_03: So I think Amon Ross St.
- 57:07SPEAKER_03: Brown obliterates this number uh this week.
- 57:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and to double dip on Tip's pick of the week, I mean, it was going to be mine, and I saw that he was already on it.
- 57:19SPEAKER_01: So, point being, uh, go ahead and lock in Amon Ra over 78 and a half.
- 57:24SPEAKER_01: I absolutely love it.
- 57:25SPEAKER_01: He hasn't hit it in the last two games.
- 57:27SPEAKER_01: He also has only hit it once so far this year, believe it or not.
- 57:31SPEAKER_01: So, in a spot like this against the Cardinals, I think you can buy a little bit of a dip on it.
- 57:36SPEAKER_01: So, Amon Ra, fire it up.
- 57:39SPEAKER_02: There we go.
- 57:40SPEAKER_02: So, so right now we have those three picks locked in, and I just want to make it clear.
- 57:46SPEAKER_02: So, right now, Jay Jaso knows all yours right now, under, under whatever you wrote in the comments.
- 57:52SPEAKER_02: I'm looking at them all under.
- 57:53SPEAKER_02: That's what I would understand.
- 57:55SPEAKER_01: All of those to be fair to James, I love Godwin over 28 and a half.
- 58:01SPEAKER_01: I'm actually on it for tomorrow night.
- 58:03SPEAKER_01: Um, so great mind single.
- 58:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's a good before we close out.
- 58:07SPEAKER_01: Before we close out, I want to ask a question.
- 58:09SPEAKER_01: And Kelly, if you want to hop on, feel free.
- 58:11SPEAKER_01: It's a cardinal-related topic.
- 58:13SPEAKER_01: But Jeremiah Love, uh, I don't know kind of what's going on there.
- 58:20SPEAKER_01: Uh, I know we only have a few minutes here, but what are our thoughts on Jeremiah Love and his whole like, no, go ahead and put Algier in, put Bam Knight in.
- 58:29SPEAKER_01: Like, I'm not feeling it.
- 58:30SPEAKER_01: I'm not feeling great.
- 58:32SPEAKER_01: My body's not feeling great.
- 58:33SPEAKER_01: Um, I know he's dealing with some injuries.
- 58:36SPEAKER_01: Any news or thoughts around Jeremiah Love?
- 58:39SPEAKER_00: Um, I think the local news is a little bit of WTF, but um the other side of that is he's a rookie.
- 58:49SPEAKER_00: He expected to be sharing carries, I believe, with a lead back, and that hasn't necessarily been the case.
- 58:57SPEAKER_00: But um, he's definitely has an ankle injury, even though they say he's good to go.
- 59:04SPEAKER_00: There's an aggravated ankle injury that wasn't even the first ankle injury, it's a different ankle injury, but he's not gonna not get carries.
- 59:13SPEAKER_00: So if you have Jeremiah Love, you should still be playing Jeremiah Love, in my opinion.
- 59:18SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I mean, I mean, go ahead, Tip.
- 59:21SPEAKER_03: I think I uh you you want your player to have confidence, um, but then you also want your player to be smart too.
- 59:29SPEAKER_03: Um, but you don't want to hear that.
- 59:31SPEAKER_03: It's kind of weird hearing it like the way you know that you you said it, Nico.
- 59:36SPEAKER_03: And then it's not the way you said it, it was the way it was presented.
- 59:39SPEAKER_03: It's like these go out there and they they they they want to play.
- 59:43SPEAKER_03: They always are saying, I'm good, I'm good, even though they're not good.
- 59:46SPEAKER_03: So it's kind of weird to hear somebody saying, No, I'm not feeling it.
- 59:50SPEAKER_03: You go ahead and do it.
- 59:51SPEAKER_03: So I don't know.
- 59:52SPEAKER_03: I don't know what to think on it.
- 59:53SPEAKER_03: I don't like it for fantasy though.
- 59:54SPEAKER_03: I I think that it's kind of like it's one of those things that's up in the air with it.
- 1:00:01SPEAKER_00: No, he doesn't really have the choice, I don't think.
- 1:00:04SPEAKER_00: They're gonna put him out there, he's gonna play, he's excited when he plays.
- 1:00:08SPEAKER_00: So I wonder if there's something going on in that running back room where there's a little discussion or something.
- 1:00:14SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 1:00:14SPEAKER_02: Uh seems I'm we we saw this once, I would say, in recent years, and that was when Anthony Richardson tapped out after like kind of a strength uh scramble, and then you remember he tapped his helmet and then he took himself out of the game.
- 1:00:29SPEAKER_02: I think that was probably the last time we had we heard somebody do something like this, other than when it's like B.
- 1:00:34SPEAKER_02: John Robinson scores like two touchdowns, and then he let Brian Robinson take the other one in, where he's just like, Hey, you know what?
- 1:00:40SPEAKER_02: Sure, buddy, take the scraps.
- 1:00:41SPEAKER_02: In that case, yeah, it's different, but like this one, it was like game time in the middle of the game, and then he allowed himself to just be like, All right, you go in instead of me.
- 1:00:49SPEAKER_02: I don't really feel like playing right now.
- 1:00:51SPEAKER_02: I don't know, it was a little odd.
- 1:00:52SPEAKER_02: I agree.
- 1:00:53SPEAKER_02: Um, but I don't think it's that deep.
- 1:00:54SPEAKER_02: I really don't think it's that deep.
- 1:00:55SPEAKER_02: I yeah, yeah.
- 1:00:57SPEAKER_02: I mean, you kind of knew what you were getting with that running back room that there was gonna be competition.
- 1:01:01SPEAKER_02: You shouldn't be surprised that there is competition.
- 1:01:03SPEAKER_02: So, right before we send each other off, because we just hit the hour mark.
- 1:01:07SPEAKER_02: Vibes Vine says, Hi guys, should I trade away I want Ross St.
- 1:01:11SPEAKER_02: Brown and Conception for Bijan and Craft?
- 1:01:13SPEAKER_03: No, oh actually, yeah.
- 1:01:16SPEAKER_02: Once you said Bijan and Kraft, I'm like, Yeah, yeah, I would.
- 1:01:22SPEAKER_04: Why not?
- 1:01:22SPEAKER_04: Yeah, do it.
- 1:01:23SPEAKER_02: I want Bijan, why not?
- 1:01:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah, Bijan Kraft.
- 1:01:26SPEAKER_02: All right, boys.
- 1:01:26SPEAKER_02: That is gonna have to wrap up this episode.
