- 0:10You are listening to the Hidden Lightness on America Out Loud Talk Radio.
- 0:14I'm your host, Jimmy Hinton.
- 0:15Well, well, well, folks, you would believe if you watched the news, if even for a few minutes, you would believe that the world's on fire, that people are just point blank shooting people in the streets, and violence is up, and ice is killing people, and uh, you know, there's this big bloodbath, and they're just taking innocent people's lives, and uh the number of people that they're killing, it's just absolutely incredible, and and they're destroying everything.
- 0:47Well, we have a different take for you.
- 0:51And it's a real one.
- 0:53It's one where if we step away from the lame stream media, we actually get a real picture.
- 1:01That what's happening in Minnesota with the professional agitators and people who are uh stepping into harm's way on purpose, trying to get arrested, trying to uh uh I I don't know, die by suicide.
- 1:18I you can't come to any other conclusion with the aggression that some of these lunatics have ramming ICE vehicles with their own personal cars, using their their vehicles as weapons, that sort of thing.
- 1:35Uh it's a handful of lunatics.
- 1:40And I I say that because I think it was um I think it was Jenkins who said uh he was talking on CNN and and he was saying that um not Jenkins, Jennings.
- 1:56There we go.
- 1:56Scott uh Jennings.
- 1:58I think he was the one, if I remember right.
- 2:00He was saying, uh, you know, if if people oppose what ICE is doing, that's fine, right?
- 2:08Everybody has the right to oppose what they're doing, to disagree with what they're doing.
- 2:13He said, but right now they are upholding the law.
- 2:18They were given lawful orders to arrest illegal alien criminals, and whether we like it or not, that's another story.
- 2:30We may dislike that, and that's okay.
- 2:33We may think that that's unfair.
- 2:35We may think that those laws are absolutely ridiculous.
- 2:39And he said, and that's okay.
- 2:42But the way to do that, the way to protest is to go to the lawmakers and ask them to change the laws.
- 2:52Not to harass ice members.
- 2:56Not to spit in the face of law enforcement, not to block streets like the woman who got killed the other day, to block the street with your vehicle, block ice from from going through.
- 3:10She created a barricade while her wife recorded it.
- 3:17You can't tell me that that was a spontaneous event.
- 3:21She just happened to be standing there recording the entire thing.
- 3:26While while her wife blocked the road, and then she was ordered out of the vehicle, and I'm not saying that that it's not tragic.
- 3:37It is tragic.
- 3:38It's it's it's absolutely horrible that somebody lost their life.
- 3:44In fact, uh they they uh did a fundraiser.
- 3:48I think they raised within the first few hours almost a million dollars.
- 3:53Okay, great.
- 3:55You know, the the her her kids, her kids are gonna have a tough life.
- 4:00I mean, it's it it's sad.
- 4:03But it also was senseless.
- 4:05She had been linked to radical groups, anti-ICE groups.
- 4:09She had been radicalized, and uh was known to track she was she was a tracker, so she would track ice agents and show up before they got there and barricade the road like she had a history of doing this kind of thing.
- 4:26Eventually that's gonna catch up to you.
- 4:29You know, you harass law enforcement, you you use your vehicle as a weapon, and I know the left is saying that's not what happened.
- 4:38She was trying to flee, she was scared, she literally had her vehicle blocking the road on purpose.
- 4:47And maybe she was trying to flee in that moment, but it just was a very unfortunate event.
- 4:56And um it's sad to say she put herself in that in that position.
- 5:05Um, you know, I I know the investigation has to has to run its course, and that's all I'm gonna say on that.
- 5:13It this is not about uh pointing fingers, but she put herself in a very, very dangerous position.
- 5:19Uh I'll just leave it at that.
- 5:21Uh whether it was a justified shooting or not, it's I'm not an expert, and I don't pretend to be.
- 5:27Um I can't make that call.
- 5:29I'm not gonna make that call.
- 5:32We'll let uh the investigators figure that out.
- 5:36There will be a thorough investigation, but my point is this that the media wants you to think that with Donald J.
- 5:45Orangeman Trump in office, that there are just mass murders happening everywhere, that there's crime everywhere, that that people are homeless, that uh the economy is absolutely in the gutter, that every single country around the world hates us.
- 6:05And then you look a little bit deeper.
- 6:09Let me pull this article up.
- 6:12Uh this hot off the press.
- 6:15New York City had the lowest number of shootings in its history last year.
- 6:27Not a lower number of shootings, not uh not less than in years past, literally the lowest number of shootings in its history in 2025.
- 6:44I'll read a little bit of this article here.
- 6:46Uh, of all the challenges Zoran Mamdami will face taking charge of the biggest city in the U.S.
- 6:54shootings is not one of them.
- 6:56As the Big Apple recorded fewer in 2025 than any year on record.
- 7:04In 2025, New York City recorded 688 shooting incidents, the lowest number in the city's history.
- 7:14That didn't just break previous records that in 2018, it shattered it with 66 fewer shootings than that benchmark year, police commissioner Jessica Tisch said at a Tuesday morning news conference.
- 7:31In the month of December, shootings fell 43% with just 35 shooting incidents citywide.
- 7:40That's the lowest number of shootings ever in any month of the year, beating the previous record of 36 shooting incidents in February of 2018.
- 7:53We see the headlines and we hear the punits talk about crime being out of control in our city.
- 7:59These numbers tell a very different story.
- 8:01That's the police commissioner saying that.
- 8:10And it's not just New York City.
- 8:13This is happening all over America.
- 8:18We'll get into some of these numbers.
- 8:20Um, but uh if this is not good news, I don't know what is, and you won't hear about this on the mainstream media.
- 8:29They will not they'll they'll hide it, they won't cover these stories, all they'll talk about is how Trump is a murderer, uh you have the mayor of of Minneapolis say, I have a message for ICE.
- 8:47F Ice.
- 8:50We don't want you here, we don't need you here, we want you gone.
- 8:57Hmm.
- 8:58Wonder why there's violence in Minneapolis.
- 9:04Tim Walls said some pretty disparaging comments about ice and then denied it.
- 9:10He's like, I didn't say anything mean, I didn't say anything extreme, and then they played the sound bites and whoops.
- 9:19Yeah, you did.
- 9:23You know, this is the kind of stuff it it comes from the politicians, and they just they want Americans to think that these people are are are point blank shooting people in the streets.
- 9:37And if you look at how these stories are covered, it's always the innocent, you know.
- 9:41You remember the uh the nurse that was arrested on on her way to work.
- 9:47She was pulled out of her vehicle.
- 9:49I forget where that happened.
- 9:51Um that was just a couple months ago.
- 9:54And it was all over the news.
- 9:57I mean, you could you couldn't, you couldn't not.
- 10:00Read that story.
- 10:02It was everywhere.
- 10:03This innocent nurse pulled out of her vehicle and you know questioned by ICE about her legal status.
- 10:13Come to find out.
- 10:16She was a tyrant.
- 10:19She was mouthing off, running her mouth, you know, breaking the law to begin with.
- 10:23That's why she got pulled over.
- 10:26And uh then she refused to give her ID.
- 10:30And was MF and the police.
- 10:35You know, this is the kind of stuff.
- 10:37It just the way that it's covered by the media.
- 10:44These are all just innocent angels out in the street.
- 10:48And they're all good, good people, and they're kind hearted people.
- 10:52And ICE is just they're just uh being violent and picking on people, shoving people to the ground.
- 11:01I've seen video after video where the narrative is they just found this this person mining their own business and just shove them right to the ground.
- 11:12They're so violent.
- 11:15And then lo and behold, the longer footage appears.
- 11:21These people are spitting in the faces of ice, throwing rocks at them, dumping soda over top of them.
- 11:28You know they don't know what's what liquid is being poured over them.
- 11:32You start pouring something over their head.
- 11:33They don't know if that's acid or or what the heck it is.
- 11:40You know, the the these losers, and it's exactly what they are.
- 11:45I don't apologize for saying that.
- 11:49The minute you stop being peaceful as a protester, you're a loser.
- 11:55You start throwing bricks at people, you start you start ramming ICE's vehicle with your car.
- 12:03You start vandalizing their their vehicles as soon as they step out, or sometimes they're still in them.
- 12:11You're a loser.
- 12:12It's exactly what you are.
- 12:15But the media won't say that.
- 12:16They paint them as like these innocent, beautiful, wonderful people, and they're just minding their own business.
- 12:24And ICE, you know, ice is violent.
- 12:28They're racist.
- 12:32Well, it turns out the ICE officer who shot the woman.
- 12:38Um, I was in Minneapolis last week.
- 12:44Well, it turned out just a couple months ago, he'd been drug.
- 12:47What was it, like 50 yards or something by somebody else?
- 12:51Somebody struck them, struck them with their vehicle on purpose.
- 12:56You know, this is what these loser protesters are doing.
- 12:59But the media is not covering that.
- 13:02They're just they're peaceful protesters.
- 13:05They're they're just trying to protect illegal aliens.
- 13:10They don't call them illegal aliens.
- 13:13Refugees is what they say.
- 13:16Which is fine.
- 13:16I'm not picking on that.
- 13:19Um, but I am picking on the fact that they're they're being violent.
- 13:26But keep in mind, and we must must keep this in mind.
- 13:31It's a small group of people.
- 13:33There aren't that many protesters doing it.
- 13:35There aren't that many people who are lunatics who are throwing bricks at ice and spitting in their face and pouring drinks over top of them.
- 13:46Ramming their vehicles with their own.
- 13:49Yeah, there aren't that many of them.
- 13:53And uh, I don't know.
- 13:56I I want to be careful not to sensationalize this and make it look like it's worse than what it is.
- 14:02It's bad.
- 14:03But as far as the numbers are concerned, it doesn't appear to be that many people.
- 14:10You know, it's just the it's the professional protesters, you know, the ones who are being paid to show up and agitate the Antifa type people.
- 14:22They yell and scream fascist, Nazi.
- 14:28You know, I've seen videos of of people yelling fascist to ICE uh law enforcement officers.
- 14:38But the big picture is there are many less deaths under President Trump.
- 14:47Like a lot.
- 14:50So how about the decline in the overdose deaths?
- 14:57There are 20,000 fewer deaths last year, overdose deaths compared to peak years.
- 15:08A 24 to 25% decline.
- 15:14Uh, let's pull up an article here.
- 15:19This is NYPD.
- 15:23Oh, nope, that's about the safest year here.
- 15:26CDC.
- 15:26This is about the drug use.
- 15:29Uh provisional drug overdose death counts.
- 15:34Uh, there are delays in in reporting, so they kind of put a little note there at the beginning, but it said this data visualization represents provisional counts for drug overdose deaths based on a current flow of mortality data in the national vital statistics system.
- 15:53Counts for the most recent final annual data are provided for comparison.
- 16:00Uh it's the 50 states and DC, they're all included.
- 16:05And I'm looking at the graph here.
- 16:06It's uh figure one A.
- 16:0912-month ending provisional counts of drug overdose deaths.
- 16:14It is absolutely fallen off a cliff.
- 16:18Down 24% and still dropping.
- 16:22It didn't level off.
- 16:24The overdose deaths are continuing to decline.
- 16:28This is good news.
- 16:29There are more.
- 16:32We have a whole show left.
- 16:34I mean, this is incredible.
- 16:37In a good way.
- 16:39But it's not being covered by the media.
- 16:44Orange man bad, orange man fascist, orange man Nazi.
- 16:50Meanwhile.
- 16:53A whole lot more people are going home to their to their parents and to their kids.
- 16:59Because Trump has put a squeeze on on the fentanyl issue.

- 19:50They promised they agree to in 2018.
- 19:53Well, the American people have seen Google's track record.
- 19:57Is Google an untrustworthy place?
- 20:00The AI race.
- 20:06Now is our time, my fellow Americans.
- 20:09America of Mao Doc News.
- 20:11Liberty.
- 20:12And justice for all.
- 20:17The Trump effect is taking hold in America, and it's good news.
- 20:23That is, if you want to stay alive.
- 20:26Crime down, drug overdoses down, deaths down, homicides down.
- 20:33Down down, down.
- 20:34And this is not just in New York City.
- 20:37There's a broad national trend where crime is it's declining.
- 20:44And it's declining fast.
- 20:47Folks, this is not coincidence.
- 20:49This is not just a one-off.
- 20:51This is not New York City just having a lucky year because Mamdani is elected their new dictator, their new communist leader.
- 21:03And people are just excited about that.
- 21:05So, you know, they're not shooting each other in the in the streets.
- 21:09That's not what this is.
- 21:13This is about a president who vowed he campaigned on law and order.
- 21:20He said, you know what?
- 21:22There's too much crime, and we're going to get serious about it, and we're going to crack down.
- 21:28We are an administration of law and order.
- 21:33And you remember, of course, all the people mocking Trump.
- 21:39Well, for all kinds of things, but uh for his mug shot.
- 21:44Right?
- 21:45That was one that the Democrats were, they just loved it.
- 21:51Orange Man prison, orange man wearing orange.
- 21:58And everything gets dismissed.
- 22:03Um and on it goes.
- 22:09They made fun of him for not dying in the assassination attempts.
- 22:16Three assassination attempts within months of each other.
- 22:25I still see people posting stuff online.
- 22:28Quite frankly, like it's not funny.
- 22:31And that's something, like, there are jokes that they're pretty funny, and people get ripped pretty hard.
- 22:41But making fun of any president, I don't care who it is.
- 22:48Because they didn't they didn't get killed when there was an assassination attempt.
- 22:54That's not funny.
- 22:56It's really not.
- 22:58And it just shows you that's that's their sense of humor.
- 23:02But it's not humor.
- 23:03You know, they're serious.
- 23:05They're they're laughing, but it's it's through anger.
- 23:08They want him gone.
- 23:11Make no mistake.
- 23:13And this radicalized leftist agenda is what they're attempting to do is divide the nation.
- 23:26Get everybody mad, get everybody angry, uh, get in their faces.
- 23:31Right?
- 23:32Make sure that make sure that you put them in their place.
- 23:37Go out, you get those ICE agents.
- 23:42Yeah, this is coming from on high, the mayor of Minneapolis.
- 23:47Here's my message to ICE.
- 23:50F ice.
- 23:52We don't want you here.
- 23:54Well, quite frankly, the president doesn't care whether you want them there or not.
- 23:58They have a job to do, a lawful job, and again, uh Scott Jennings is right.
- 24:07You can disagree with that.
- 24:09You can you can disagree with the law.
- 24:11I disagree with a lot of the things that the Trump administration has done.
- 24:17You know what we're doing?
- 24:18I had my sister call me the other day.
- 24:20She's like, hey, can you help me uh contact senators and we need to talk to them about about these laws?
- 24:27These laws are hurting people.
- 24:31I said, absolutely, sure.
- 24:33I have a couple names of people.
- 24:35I gave her some names of people.
- 24:37Senators who I thought would uh get some pretty good traction.
- 24:41She's been working with uh with Senator Fennerman's office.
- 24:45He's been fantastic, by the way.
- 24:48That's how it's done.
- 24:51We didn't take to the streets, we didn't protest, we didn't spit in people's faces, we didn't uh we didn't cry wolf.
- 24:57Like, I don't know why they're being so mean to me.
- 25:00Well, maybe because you're throwing bricks at their heads.
- 25:06That could be an indication.
- 25:08I don't know why it got tased.
- 25:10Well, probably because you were kicking them in the knees.
- 25:14They ordered you to stop multiple times, give you plenty of opportunity to stop.
- 25:20And now they're tasing you.
- 25:21I know why you're being tased.
- 25:25So, yeah, Jennings is a hundred percent right.
- 25:29The way to fight laws that you disagree with are by contacting your senators and saying um, hey, or representatives or you know, whoever say, hey, I I here's what I'm witnessing.
- 25:44And go out, get your video.
- 25:47I'm all for it.
- 25:50If people are being unjust, if if uh they're arresting people who shouldn't be arrested, by all means get that on video.
- 25:58Get evidence.
- 26:03But when you start kicking, spitting, biting, using your cars as a as a weapon, you're not doing anybody any good.
- 26:15You know, but they want us to be angry.
- 26:21And unfortunately, some people are are taking the bait.
- 26:26Uh I'm not angry.
- 26:30Most of the people I know aren't angry.
- 26:35Now, some of the things that we see is uh we're not big fans of and particularly with immigration, you know, revoking visas just kind of across the board.
- 26:51I think it's a bad idea.
- 26:52I don't like it.
- 26:55I'm not gonna spit an eye in an IC officer's face, though.
- 27:02That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
- 27:05You know, so it's a handful of people, and they they they bought this narrative that ICE is just out lining people up, you know, and it didn't um AOC, didn't she say something like that?
- 27:19She talked about a firing squad that that ICE is lining people up and shooting them or something to that effect.
- 27:27That's don't quote me on that.
- 27:29Um, some of the things she's saying, she's just absolutely dead wrong.
- 27:38She's making up falsehoods because she wants that narrative to fit.
- 27:45She wants it, she wants it so badly to be true.
- 27:51And and it's not.
- 27:53So anyway, let's look at some of the broad national trends outside of New York City that has the lowest homicide rate ever in the history of the city.
- 28:07Or at least since they've been keeping records.
- 28:11So the real-time crime index and other watchdogs report that murders in the U.S.
- 28:17dropped by about 20% nationwide in 2025.
- 28:23That is a very significant drop.
- 28:26Baltimore.
- 28:29Baltimore is at that place used to be a no offense, but uh not a safe place to go, we'll put it that way.
- 28:39I used to drive truck in Baltimore five days a week.
- 28:43And uh, you know, you had to know where you were going.
- 28:46If if you knew where you were going, it was fine.
- 28:50But there were certain parts of the city that you just uh you didn't go there, you know.
- 28:55You you uh you'd be wise to not kind of wander into certain areas if you catch my drift.
- 29:04Baltimore was rough, was rough.
- 29:11Baltimore recorded 133 homicides.
- 29:14It's still a lot, but it's not these mass shootings where tens of thousands of people are losing their lives.
- 29:22Baltimore's a big city.
- 29:26They had 135, or sorry, 133 homicides in 2025, the fewest in fifty years, down from peaks of over 300 in a year.
- 29:45They're the third of that.
- 29:48San Francisco.
- 29:50They recorded 28 homicides in 2020, the lowest number since 1950.
- 30:01We're going back to civil rights here.
- 30:05We're going back to the civil rights era where tensions were high in America.
- 30:11There's a lot of violence.
- 30:14At least a lot of recorded violence.
- 30:18It's the lowest number in San Francisco, 28 homicides in 2020 25.
- 30:26Lowest number since 1954.
- 30:31East Palo Alto.
- 30:34Recorded.
- 30:35You ready for this?
- 30:36It's a big number.
- 30:38I know it's going to be hard to calculate here.
- 30:41East Palo Alto, and I've I've been through their driving truck uh quite a few times.
- 30:47I always like the uh the road signs that have um they have the um barbed wire on them.
- 30:55I had never seen that before in my life.
- 30:58Until I went out to like Palo Alto and LA, you know, you see all the all these uh road signs with literally they're wrapped in barbed wire.
- 31:10I mean, massive road signs, the big huge ones that hang over the interstate.
- 31:16Like that's fascinating to me.
- 31:19Anyway, East Palo Alto recorded zero murders for the second year in a row.
- 31:32Zero.
- 31:34This is unheard of, folks.
- 31:36Why is this not running on every single news cycle?
- 31:40This ought to be 24-7 on the news.
- 31:43And and you know, if people in the media were actually honest, this is the kind of stuff that would get covered.
- 31:52Not a handful of losers throwing bricks at ice cars.
- 31:58But that's what's in the news 24-7.
- 32:01They'll find one clip, they'll edit the living daylights out of that clip, and they'll be like, you know, they'll have somebody on the ground, and it's all it's almost always a woman.
- 32:11They'll have them on the ground, and she's crying like, oh, you're hurting me.
- 32:15I didn't do anything.
- 32:17Why are you targeting me?
- 32:19You know, and like if you didn't know any better, you'd be like, Oh my goodness, these people are tyrants.
- 32:29And then you find the longer video clips.
- 32:33You're like, oh.
- 32:35She literally was walking up and punching them in the chest.
- 32:41I just saw one today.
- 32:44This big one, she was a big girl.
- 32:47The big woman gets knocked down to the ground.
- 32:53And I'm like, man, that was kind of aggressive.
- 32:58And then you know, like the backwards sound, rewind the tape.
- 33:03I found the longer video.
- 33:07She's walking up and like hitting this guy.
- 33:12Just repeatedly hitting him.
- 33:15He finally had enough.
- 33:16He should have arrested her, but uh quite honestly, these guys probably have better things to do with their time than to try to arrest every every lunatic that does something like that to them.
- 33:30A lot of these people, to be honest, are getting off easy.
- 33:34Some of these people are committing felonies, and they're getting off without even a warning.
- 33:41It's not gonna happen for long.
- 33:43You know, I think uh the federal agents agents have had about enough.
- 33:49But anyway, yeah, she she got uh pushed to the ground, and not shoved.
- 33:55It was like he he just he had enough, and he was it's like what can I relate that to?
- 34:02It's like when you have a kid that they they're trying to push the boundaries and they they come and they run and they just like headbutt you.
- 34:11Then they back up, and it's like they're they think they're a little billy goat or something, and they keep ramming you, and finally there comes a point where you just like they're so much smaller than you.
- 34:20You just kind of grab them on the top of their head and just like real slowly push them down, and they're their feet are like digging in, and they're still spinning tire kind of thing, and you're just holding them there in place so that they can't keep headbutting you, but they keep trying.
- 34:40It's kind of what it reminded me of.
- 34:44Like it just kind of slowly pushed her down to the ground, and she's like, Well, why?
- 34:48Why?
- 34:49I didn't do anything, you know, kind of thing.
- 34:52I'm like, oh my goodness, like these people are they're worse than little children, the way that they're behaving.
- 35:01So anyway, and this is the kind of stuff that's running on the news cycles, just 24-7.
- 35:07It's it's it's on a constant loop.
- 35:10What they ought to be playing on the news are these things.
- 35:14Why are they not interviewing people?
- 35:16Well, we know why, but why are they not interviewing people in in Baltimore?
- 35:23Why are news reporters not holding the microphone up to people who are saying it's quiet?
- 35:32We heard that earlier last year, you know, about a year ago, it was like last January, February.
- 35:38Uh, I had highlighted some of those stories on the show, and there were residents saying we don't hear gunfire anymore.
- 35:46There's in uh Memphis, Tennessee.
- 35:51We used to not be able to bring our kids out in the street, literally.
- 35:55They're like, we're out in the street, our kids are out in the street.
- 35:58We pull up a lawn chair and we get to sit and watch our kids play.
- 36:02This is amazing.
- 36:05And they were thanking President Trump.
- 36:11I think it's great.
- 36:15Not the thanking President Trump part, though that's pretty funny, but the the low crime.
- 36:20Isn't that great?
- 36:21Shouldn't we want this?
- 36:22Shouldn't we want our children to be able to play in the street?
- 36:25Other people's children, shouldn't we be applauding this?
- 36:30And you have to give credit to the Trump administration.
- 36:33I'm sorry, but at this point, whether you like them or not, it's kind of irrelevant.
- 36:42You see, we tie so many things to our personal likes and dislikes.
- 36:47I don't like Trump.
- 36:49Trump Orange Man.
- 36:52Guess what?
- 36:53Who cares?
- 36:54I didn't like Biden, not one little bit.
- 36:57I never liked it.
- 36:58I didn't like him as a senator, and I certainly didn't like him as a president.
- 37:03But so what life went on.
- 37:08Um I never took to social media to talk about how I didn't like Biden.
- 37:14You know why?
- 37:14Because it doesn't matter.
- 37:18It really doesn't matter.
- 37:21I didn't like a lot of President Biden's uh policies.
- 37:25Guess what?
- 37:26Nobody cares.
- 37:28Doesn't matter.
- 37:31Life goes on.
- 37:33Uh Biden did some good things.
- 37:36And he did some bad things.
- 37:39Things that I liked, things I didn't like.
- 37:42So what?
- 37:43Life goes on.
- 37:45So, yeah, we have to give the Trump administration credit for this, though, because they have really cracked down on crime, and the numbers are they're very telling.
- 37:56Well, we're coming up on another break here.

- 39:42New York City experienced the lowest number of homicides ever.
- 39:48Last year in 2025.
- 39:50It's not just New York City.
- 39:52This is happening everywhere.
- 39:54Rinse and repeat across the great nation of America.
- 39:58Now, this is good news for the
- 40:00250 year anniversary, is it not?
- 40:03So we ought to be celebrating this.
- 40:05This ought to be the year where we celebrate, and we're like, my goodness, it's it's America's birthday, and crime is down.
- 40:13Overdoses are down.
- 40:15Homicides, down.
- 40:19People can go in the streets.
- 40:21People can be they can have and enjoy peace.
- 40:26They can watch their kids play in the streets and in their yard without fear of being shot.
- 40:32This is happening across America, and it's really good news.
- 40:39So for the overdoses, I want to dig a little bit into the reasons why, at least what the experts are saying.
- 40:48And uh because I don't want you to take my word for it that this is because of President Trump.
- 40:56Yeah, you can disagree with that, but here's what the experts are saying.
- 41:01As far as overdoses, the leading theory of why overdose deaths are down.
- 41:08Now we know what common sense is, common sense is you shut off the fentanyl supply.
- 41:13Um people stop dying from drug overdoses because a lot of these deaths are not that they overdosed on whatever drug it was, it's that it was laced with fentanyl.
- 41:25Fentanyl is extremely dangerous.
- 41:30So experts generally agree that it isn't due to a single law, but rather the restoration of social infrastructure that collapsed in 2020.
- 41:45That's for violent crime, overdoses.
- 41:48The theory is that there's a massive geopolitical shock to the supply chain of fentanyl.
- 41:56So as far as crime, just crime in general, um, it's not a singular law, but it's the restoration of social infrastructure that collapsed in 2020 during the pandemic.
- 42:08There is the post-pandemic stabilization.
- 42:12Criminologists argue that the 2021, uh 2021 spike was driven by a perfect storm of closed schools, idle youth, shut down community centers, economic desperation.
- 42:25I would add that uh it was parents sitting at home uh or not sitting at home trying to work while their kids were sitting at home.
- 42:36And violence, domestic abuse went up.
- 42:41It actually started to skyrocket.
- 42:44Not saying that COVID caused it, but it certainly exasperated it.
- 42:50For people who are already prone to violence, being cooped up didn't do them any favors.
- 42:58And also they attribute the community violence intervention, CVI.
- 43:05This is the policy victory that many mayors are claiming.
- 43:10The American rescue plan injected tons of funding into violence interrupters.
- 43:18Those are civilians who mediate conflicts before they turn into shootings.
- 43:24Cities like Boston and Baltimore credited this coordination between police and community groups for their historic lows.
- 43:34So let's talk about the overdose deaths because this is a huge one.
- 43:40We had a hundred thousand people dying every single year.
- 43:45That's a lot of people dying from overdoses.
- 43:47Those are a lot of parents who are leaving their kids childless.
- 43:53Those are a lot of kids leaving their parents childless.
- 44:02It's terrible.
- 44:06But it's down a quarter.
- 44:10Twenty thousand less deaths in 2025 due to overdoses.
- 44:17So there's uh we got to look at China.
- 44:20There's a China crackdown theory.
- 44:24We disrupted the supply of fentanyl out of China.
- 44:30China began aggressively shutting down chemical companies that produced precursors to fentanyl because the pressure was put on them.
- 44:40The raw materials needed to make fentanyl became harder for cartels to get.
- 44:48The DEA tested fentanyl in 2025, there was a significant drop in the purity of fentanyl out on the street.
- 45:01And that suggests that dealers were cutting it more heavily because they couldn't, they couldn't get enough product.
- 45:08So they're trying to make it stretch farther, and they make it less and less pure as they try to stretch that fentanyl because they got to get their cut.
- 45:16These drug dealers, it gets less and less pure.
- 45:30Uh Narcan that's available.
- 45:34It's no longer just in ambulances, it's in libraries, schools, vending machines, bars, it's all over the place.
- 45:41And people really resisted this for a long time.
- 45:45Oh, people dug their own grave.
- 45:47Why would we, why would we rescue these junkies?
- 45:52I I don't like, I do not like that theory.
- 45:56I people have no idea how hard it is, and we don't know what causes people to go into drugs.
- 46:04A lot of people, I mean, we do we do it to an extent, but I'm saying from individual to individual, you have no idea what's going on in that person's life, what led them down that path to start using drugs.
- 46:19And I am all for Narcan.
- 46:24You know, if we can spare somebody's life, give them a shot at a second chance.
- 46:30What a gift.
- 46:34So yeah, we may have finally reached a tipping point where enough bystanders are equipped to reverse overdoses before they become fatal.
- 46:44There's a guy, um, uh social media influencer.
- 46:48Uh he goes by Victor the Great, he's got a couple different channels, all the same guy.
- 46:54But he's a recovering drug addict, and uh he's been clean 13 years, and he drives around uh sponsoring people out on the streets, people who are living on the streets who want a chance at getting clean, he sponsors them and he sends them off to different states.
- 47:13You know, they oftentimes get to choose the state that they go to, and he puts them through rehab, but he doesn't just stop there.
- 47:23Then he raises tons of money for them to get housing and to really get a start on life.
- 47:33Because that's the problem.
- 47:34And I talked about this the other day with our with our prison systems.
- 47:39The same is true of people who are not in prison, but they're maybe living on the streets, and they have drug convictions.
- 47:46It's really hard to get a start in life.
- 47:51All the cards are stacked against you.
- 47:53I mean, every card is stacked against you.
- 47:56You have no money.
- 48:00You typically don't have uh a close group of friends because the only people who you surrounded yourself with when you were in in the addiction are the people who the only thing they cared about was either getting your money or getting high with you.
- 48:16So you have no close friends.
- 48:19Family oftentimes abandons people because they just reach a point of frustration and sorrow and exhaustion.
- 48:28No judgment there, it just it happens.
- 48:33So people get estranged from their families.
- 48:37And they lose everything.
- 48:39Oftentimes they have no identification.
- 48:43That gets stolen or lost when they're out living on the streets.
- 48:47So it's really difficult, it's very challenging, and it's easy for us to say, well, just go get a job.
- 48:51Why don't you go get a job like the rest of us?
- 48:53Well, it's not that easy.
- 48:58So I love that there are people like Victor who are out there blessing people.
- 49:04And he's been there, he gets it, he knows.
- 49:07He's lived that life.
- 49:11But he's saving dozens of people, one by one, and he doesn't push them.
- 49:18He's like, here's my phone number.
- 49:20If if you want to get clean, you give me a call.
- 49:24Some of them do, most of them don't.
- 49:29But the ones who do, oh my goodness, it's it's so such a heartwarming story to watch these people transition and their gratitude.
- 49:40Does somebody put the time and money into them?
- 49:43It's fantastic.
- 49:46What Victor's doing, I mean, he is a saint.
- 49:48He's an angel.
- 49:48I really mean that.
- 49:50And he has a uh a landscaping business, and he often employs the people.
- 49:56Once they get clean, he gives them a shot at
- 50:00Employment with his company.
- 50:01I love that.
- 50:03I mean, you can't get more of a stand-up guy than him.
- 50:06Why are these stories not being covered?
- 50:09Right?
- 50:10Why are these stories not being covered?
- 50:11Again, we know why.
- 50:13Because they want us to think that the world has gone to crap in a handbasket with Trump at the helm.
- 50:18And Orange Man is just ruining the whole world.
- 50:21And you know, they they want us to all be miserable and feel sorry for ourselves.
- 50:27Well, I refuse.
- 50:29My life is great.
- 50:32Things are going great.
- 50:34I'm actually excited.
- 50:36I'm probably going to do a story on this just to irritate some people.
- 50:41But I'm excited about tax return season.
- 50:48Now it it's it's coming up here very quickly.
- 50:59And I'm excited to see just what an impact the one big beautiful bill actually has.
- 51:05I might be disappointed.
- 51:08I'm fully prepared for that.
- 51:10I don't care.
- 51:12I may break even.
- 51:13I may owe money.
- 51:14I don't know.
- 51:15We'll see.
- 51:16For me, it's kind of fun.
- 51:19Kind of fun to see.
- 51:20I'm not an accountant.
- 51:22So I'm actually terrible at accounting.
- 51:25I've tried.
- 51:27I just can't wrap my mind around it.
- 51:29So we take we take all of our stuff to an accountant.
- 51:35We pay the big bucks to have somebody else do it.
- 51:39Um I'm perfectly happy to do that.
- 51:41But, you know, life is good.
- 51:43Life is what you make of it.
- 51:46It really is.
- 51:47For the most part, life is what you make of it.
- 51:51And all these naysayers and all the negativity and people talking about how the whole world has gone to crap.
- 51:58That's just not reality, folks.
- 52:01Is life hard for some people?
- 52:03You betcha.
- 52:06Has been since the beginning of time.
- 52:09Is the United States falling apart?
- 52:12Not by a long shot.
- 52:15There's so much good going on.
- 52:16I man, it is crazy.
- 52:19I have a whole list of things that uh, you know, upcoming shows that I'm gonna cover for topics.
- 52:25It's it's just endless.
- 52:28Endless good news.
- 52:31So we're gonna celebrate.
- 52:33We'll celebrate the wins.
- 52:34We're not gonna take to the streets and we're not we're not gonna riot.
- 52:39We're not gonna, we're not gonna protest and shout and spit in people's faces and defecate on sidewalks.
- 52:46We just uh we'll we'll let that up to um we'll let that up to to the people who that's where they get their enjoyment, I guess.
- 52:56Being miserable, being upset, being angry.
- 53:01Talking about how deprived we are of of everything.
- 53:06Y'all knock yourselves out.
- 53:08Have fun with that.
- 53:11You know, here's another thing.
- 53:13Uh I just in passing, kind of a random thought, but I saw that the dreaded subsidies, which I can't stand.
- 53:23They actually give me a little bit of a nosebleed.
- 53:25Uh, but they were passed by the house.
- 53:30So it looks like my understanding is uh it's it's gonna happen where people get their subsidies for the unaffordable health care act.
- 53:40So if you depend on that crummy insurance, um looks like you're gonna get a pretty significant subsidy for the next several years.
- 53:51So that's good news for people.
- 53:54I don't like it.
- 53:56That's I think it's a shame that the taxpayers have to keep the Unaffordable Health Care Act on life support.
- 54:03It's not sustainable.
- 54:05It's uh it's a terrible, terrible, terrible act.
- 54:10Um, but nonetheless, the subsidies are coming, and it is gonna help people out, so um, kudos to to them.
- 54:24And and I'm not I'm not being sarcastic here.
- 54:26I really mean that.
- 54:28Uh I I hate that health care is unaffordable for people.
- 54:32I just don't think the subsidies are the way to go.
- 54:35I think the whole system needs a major overhaul.
- 54:38But at least there's help for now for people.
- 54:42A lot of people depend on health care.
- 54:45Uh there are chronic illnesses and things like that.
- 54:49And uh it just it's it's it's a broken system, folks, and it needs to be fixed.
- 54:54Uh but for now, the subsidies are gonna help people out, uh, millions of Americans, and that's good news.
- 55:01So, yeah, we'll celebrate every win.
- 55:05Um I just can't wrap my mind around this.
- 55:10As we wrap the show up, I'm trying to wrap my mind around the fact that the homicides are so low for 2025.
- 55:22Now, rest assured, the next shooting that happens, and it will every year there are mass shootings, unfortunately.
- 55:32But you watch, it's gonna be politicized, and they're gonna talk about how gun violence is up and crime rates across the country every single time.
- 55:42Crime rates across the country are out of hand under orange man, and it's just it's it's really bad.
- 55:49Don't fall for it.
- 55:51Do your own homework, do your own research.
- 55:56Homicide rates are at the lowest ever in a lot of cities across the United States.
- 56:02This is good news for America, and I'm so thankful for this.
- 56:06I'm thankful for the Trump administration that is a loan order administration.
- 56:11They they promised Trump promised to crack down on crime.
- 56:15He promised to make the streets safer, and the statistics speak for themselves.
- 56:22So we are grateful as citizens of the United States of America.
- 56:29We're grateful that the streets are getting safer and safer.
- 56:35May these trends continue.
- 56:37We should pray for this nation.
- 56:39Uh pray for everybody, even the Looney bins who uh who are enacting violence.
- 56:47Uh, we pray for everybody.
- 56:48We want there to be peace in this nation.
- 56:52This is a great, great, great, in fact, the greatest nation, and may 2026 be a year of peace.
- 57:00You can find more out about my show and get all the latest podcasts if you go to the menu navigation bar at America Outloud.news under our shows or schedule.

- 57:11There is a hidden lightness that shines inside of all of us.
- 57:14When there's so much darkness that envelops the world, remember that it doesn't take much light to expose that darkness and to ultimately inspire other people.
- 57:22Join me in being a light.
