- 0:10Speaker 1: Warning The Root, The Root, The Roots on fire.

- 0:16Speaker 2: the metal controversial show of your life. Please buckle up
- 0:20Speaker 2: and hold on tightly. This station is not responsible for injuries.
- 0:24Speaker 2: This is Wayne Alan Root, raw and unfiltered with America's
- 0:27Speaker 2: favorite conservative rock star, direct from the entertainment capital of
- 0:31Speaker 2: the world, Las Vegas. What time is it?
- 0:34Speaker 1: It's time war war.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Here's your host, one hundred percent raw truth, one hundred
- 0:41Speaker 2: percent American made the Warrior, Wayne Alan Roots ALR.
- 0:57Speaker 1: There we go.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Happy Valentine's Day.
- 1:00Speaker 4: Hey, ladies and gentlemen, from one coast to another, hearts
- 1:06Speaker 4: are filled with love today, on this fourteenth day of
- 1:11Speaker 4: February twenty twenty five.
- 1:13Speaker 3: My name is Lee Elsie.
- 1:14Speaker 4: The first hour here on Fridays, the Great Way in
- 1:18Speaker 4: Allen Root allows yours truly me Lee Elsie, to spend
- 1:23Speaker 4: sixty minutes with you on these great network stations from
- 1:25Speaker 4: one coast to another. On the talk media network. Our
- 1:28Speaker 4: friends Daniel and the crew in Minnesota are pushing the buttons.
- 1:32Speaker 3: Making it all go.
- 1:34Speaker 4: Ladies and gentlemen, let us begin with some racial talk.
- 1:37Speaker 4: So here in my home state of Connecticut, there was
- 1:41Speaker 4: an interesting article in the Hartford Current about racism, and
- 1:45Speaker 4: it was fueled by congress Person Johanna Hayes. And that,
- 1:51Speaker 4: of course, is the act of desperation by a political
- 1:54Speaker 4: party when they throw out the racism.
- 1:57Speaker 3: And it's really early to throw that out there, isn't it.
- 2:00Speaker 4: But it's very difficult to defend yourself against the accusations
- 2:05Speaker 4: of racism.
- 2:07Speaker 3: And I thought to myself, Okay, since.
- 2:09Speaker 4: That's where we're already going again, maybe it's time for
- 2:13Speaker 4: us to have a little history lesson and look at
- 2:17Speaker 4: racism here in this country. Certainly, has it been perfect
- 2:20Speaker 4: in The answer is no. But America An Americans commitment
- 2:25Speaker 4: to racial equality, I think is unlike any other nation
- 2:30Speaker 4: on this planet civil rights protections. The US has enacted
- 2:35Speaker 4: strong civil rights laws, including the Civil Rights Act of
- 2:39Speaker 4: nineteen sixty four and the Voting Rights Act of nineteen
- 2:43Speaker 4: sixty five, ensuring equal protection under the law.
- 2:48Speaker 3: We're a global leader in minority rights.
- 2:51Speaker 4: A few nations have made as much legal and societal
- 2:56Speaker 4: progress in combating racial discrimination as America. Many nations still
- 3:02Speaker 4: practice legal discrimination, whereas the United States has outlawed.
- 3:08Speaker 3: It for decades.
- 3:10Speaker 4: Diversity leadership America has elected a black president twice, has
- 3:17Speaker 4: numerous minority lawmakers, and promotes racial minorities to top corporate
- 3:22Speaker 4: and government positions all the time. Now the historical context,
- 3:27Speaker 4: if you look at America versus the other nations, slavery
- 3:31Speaker 4: was a global institution.
- 3:34Speaker 3: It wasn't invented in America.
- 3:36Speaker 4: Well, activists focused on America's past as it pertains to slavery.
- 3:43Speaker 4: It again, was a worldwide practice for centuries and still
- 3:47Speaker 4: is to this day. The US fought a bloody civil
- 3:52Speaker 4: war to end slavery, something very few other nations can claim.
- 4:00Speaker 4: America had racial segregation laws which were overturned. Many countries
- 4:04Speaker 4: still enforce racial or ethnic discrimination, a caste system in India,
- 4:11Speaker 4: ethnic apartheid in China. We're an immigration magnet in this country.
- 4:16Speaker 4: Millions of people of color seek to migrate to the
- 4:19Speaker 4: United States annually, proving that America is truly the land
- 4:23Speaker 4: of opportunity, not a systemic nation of bigots and racism.
- 4:31Speaker 4: So the US always gets this black mark for racism
- 4:37Speaker 4: because we are so free. But in the short time
- 4:41Speaker 4: that we have been a nation, as I have said
- 4:44Speaker 4: to you countless times, we have done things no other
- 4:48Speaker 4: nation in history not only has ever attempted, but has
- 4:51Speaker 4: ever attempted and succeeded with Is it perfect? Of course
- 4:55Speaker 4: it's not perfect, but we are certainly light ahead of
- 5:01Speaker 4: most every country. So when democrats scream racism, when state
- 5:08Speaker 4: senators or senators or congress people get up on their
- 5:12Speaker 4: bully pulpit and scream and stamp their feet and hold
- 5:15Speaker 4: their breath about racism, it's all a bunch of garbage.
- 5:20Speaker 3: It's nonsense. So when we look at where we've.
- 5:25Speaker 4: Been and where we're headed, remember we can always do better,
- 5:32Speaker 4: but we are better. We get better every single day.
- 5:37Speaker 4: There is incredible economic opportunity here in this station. The
- 5:41Speaker 4: US offers equal access to economic success regardless of race.
- 5:47Speaker 4: And thank god, we have a president that believes in meritocracy,
- 5:52Speaker 4: where the best of the best forge forward. And if
- 5:57Speaker 4: the best of the best or people of color, wonderful.
- 6:01Speaker 4: If the best of the best have chosen an alternative lifestyle, fabulous,
- 6:08Speaker 4: whoever is the best at that position, those are the
- 6:11Speaker 4: folks who should get it. Please reject this narrative of victimhood.
- 6:18Speaker 4: Just promote personal responsibility, hard work, faith in the American
- 6:23Speaker 4: founding principles. It's the best path, it's the only path
- 6:29Speaker 4: for absolute freedom. Uphold merit, Uphold freedom, Uphold unity, strike
- 6:35Speaker 4: down division. Keep America that beacon of hope, the one
- 6:39Speaker 4: that's been talked about for centuries again, the one that
- 6:44Speaker 4: peoples give up everything to try to get here too,
- 6:49Speaker 4: the ones that people migrate thousands of miles to try
- 6:53Speaker 4: to come to the borders and will bend and break
- 6:56Speaker 4: the rules just to get in because it's a land
- 6:59Speaker 4: of opperation tunity. So in our sitting United States congressmen
- 7:04Speaker 4: and women claim or bogusly claim that racism is still
- 7:10Speaker 4: prevalent in the United States. I think it's such a
- 7:15Speaker 4: low bar to set. Sadly, it's a low bar to set.
- 7:20Speaker 4: And you look around again at other countries. You want
- 7:23Speaker 4: to compare yourself. You know you can't compare yourself to
- 7:26Speaker 4: being perfect. No nation is perfect. We strive for perfection,
- 7:32Speaker 4: but no nation is perfect. Compare yourself to the next
- 7:35Speaker 4: best nation and see how far ahead we are of those,
- 7:39Speaker 4: Or compare yourself to a nation that doesn't believe in
- 7:43Speaker 4: racial justice and see where you are. See where you
- 7:45Speaker 4: are then light years ahead. So when I pick up
- 7:49Speaker 4: a paper like the Current and I read you know
- 7:52Speaker 4: an article where Trump is demonized for his pursuit of
- 7:59Speaker 4: the limit of diversity, equity, and inclusion and his want
- 8:04Speaker 4: for again meritocracy. And when Johanna Hayes and some of
- 8:08Speaker 4: the other members of the Black Caucus get behind these
- 8:11Speaker 4: kinds of racially divisive motives, that's the end of the
- 8:15Speaker 4: playbook for them. There's really not much else left. They
- 8:18Speaker 4: hold on to that with both hands and hope that
- 8:20Speaker 4: they can sway some of the folks out there to
- 8:23Speaker 4: get you to believe that somehow, people like me, people
- 8:27Speaker 4: like people who hold office public office right now, are
- 8:31Speaker 4: somehow racially motivated. And what we say and what we do,
- 8:35Speaker 4: it's all about delivering the best. It's all about giving
- 8:38Speaker 4: people the opportunity for freedom to succeed. And if somewhere
- 8:43Speaker 4: in this nation that doesn't happen, then we root it
- 8:46Speaker 4: out and we figure it out and we fix it.
- 8:49Speaker 3: That's what we do.
- 8:50Speaker 4: But I caution all of you to be prepared for
- 8:53Speaker 4: these types of ugly accusations, in particular when it comes
- 8:57Speaker 4: to anything that is dei centric. They're all going to
- 9:03Speaker 4: try to twist this and turn it into something that
- 9:06Speaker 4: it is not. Donald Trump is not trying to remove diversity, equity,
- 9:11Speaker 4: and inclusion from different parts of the United States government
- 9:16Speaker 4: because he's racially motivated by it. He's just forging a
- 9:22Speaker 4: meritocracy in this country where only the best, the best,
- 9:26Speaker 4: and the brightest are the ones that succeed or move forward.
- 9:30Speaker 3: That's the way it should be.
- 9:31Speaker 4: It doesn't matter what color you are, it doesn't matter
- 9:34Speaker 4: what sex you believe in or want to have, or
- 9:37Speaker 4: whatever it is that you do behind closed doors. The
- 9:41Speaker 4: bottom line is, whoever does the job the best within
- 9:44Speaker 4: the confines of the federal government should be the ones
- 9:48Speaker 4: that not only get the job, but move forward in advance.
- 9:51Speaker 4: This is not complicated, and it certainly isn't racially driven.
- 9:56Speaker 4: It's not motivated by that. It's again motivated by.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Fighting the best possible people to do the jobs.
- 10:04Speaker 4: All right, So there's your opening here on this wonderfully
- 10:08Speaker 4: romantic Valentine's Day. I hope you had a great day

- 15:16Speaker 3: So it's a lot of great stuff there. All you
- 15:18Speaker 3: got to do is subscribe to Wayne Allen Route. All right,
- 15:21Speaker 3: we've got a lot to get to. My name is
- 15:23Speaker 3: Lee Elsi.
- 15:24Speaker 4: You can email me Lee Elsiradio at gmail dot com.
- 15:28Speaker 4: So today we are facing an economic reality that is
- 15:35Speaker 4: hitting hardworking Americans where it hurts the most, in their wallets.
- 15:40Speaker 4: The latest Consumer Price Index. The numbers tell the story.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Rising costs in nearly every.
- 15:48Speaker 4: Sector of our economy, exposing the consequences of misguided policies
- 15:54Speaker 4: and reckless fiscal management.
- 15:57Speaker 3: These numbers are not just stats.
- 16:00Speaker 4: They are a reflection of the daily struggles American families
- 16:05Speaker 4: face due to inflationary pressures fueled by bureaucratic incompetence.
- 16:10Speaker 3: So let's break this now.
- 16:13Speaker 4: In January, the index for shelter rose point four percent,
- 16:18Speaker 4: making up nearly thirty percent of the overall monthly increase
- 16:23Speaker 4: in prices. That means rent housing costs continue to squeeze families,
- 16:27Speaker 4: making the American dream of home ownership more and more unattainable.
- 16:35Speaker 4: Energy prices jump one point one percent, Gasoline increased one
- 16:39Speaker 4: point eight percent on its own, and those of you
- 16:43Speaker 4: who like to eat, if you've been to the grocery
- 16:46Speaker 4: store lately, you felt the pinch. Food prices rose point
- 16:50Speaker 4: four percent overall, with food at home increasing by half
- 16:55Speaker 4: a percent. The cost of basic necessities such as meat, poultry, fish,
- 17:01Speaker 4: eggs skyrocketed by almost two percent. Eggs, by the way,
- 17:06Speaker 4: I saw yesterday where eggs were eight dollars and I
- 17:11Speaker 4: think fifty cents per dozen.
- 17:13Speaker 3: Eight fifty.
- 17:15Speaker 4: And these aren't just numbers on some page. They're an indictment.
- 17:19Speaker 4: A policy has gone past that have made every day
- 17:23Speaker 4: living more expensive for every single American citizen. And the
- 17:27Speaker 4: energy index, which directly impacts heating and cooling costs, rose
- 17:31Speaker 4: again in January. Natural gas prices increased one point eight percent,
- 17:36Speaker 4: medical care costs also climbing, prescription drug prices by two
- 17:40Speaker 4: point five percent, hospital services up over one percent.
- 17:45Speaker 3: This is just from the last month.
- 17:47Speaker 4: And yet while prices rise, our government or our previous
- 17:51Speaker 4: administration had done nothing. They deflected the blame. They shift responsibility.
- 17:55Speaker 4: The Biden administration and its allies in Congress. I've spent
- 18:00Speaker 4: recklessly driving up inflation, and now these same people want
- 18:06Speaker 4: to convince you that their failed policies are not responsible.
- 18:10Speaker 4: They want to tell you that this is just part
- 18:12Speaker 4: of the natural economic cycle. But if you're not an idiot,
- 18:17Speaker 4: you know better. This is what happens when you flood
- 18:20Speaker 4: the economy with trillions of dollars in unnecessary spending while
- 18:26Speaker 4: simultaneously undermining energy independence, discouraging productivity, and overregulating industries that
- 18:33Speaker 4: drive job growth.
- 18:36Speaker 3: I could point back to COVID six trillion.
- 18:38Speaker 4: Dollars wasted, two of it at least stolen, and that's
- 18:42Speaker 4: why the price is so high now. The policies a
- 18:46Speaker 4: President Trump, they were working when he was a president.
- 18:50Speaker 4: When he was in office, he prioritized lower taxes, energy independence,
- 18:54Speaker 4: economic growth. The opposition, however, they were concerned, was sabotaging him,
- 18:59Speaker 4: and still are concerned with sabotaging him. On every single
- 19:03Speaker 4: turn they fight, and they fought against him.
- 19:06Speaker 3: They resisted the policies, They.
- 19:08Speaker 4: Weaponized everything out their disposal to undermine any progress that
- 19:13Speaker 4: was made, and they will do it again, and they
- 19:15Speaker 4: are doing it again, Trump has been in office for
- 19:19Speaker 4: three weeks, so the numbers that I spew at you
- 19:22Speaker 4: right now, they're not his issue, the previous administration's issues.
- 19:27Speaker 4: Donald Trump understands that reducing government spending it's the key
- 19:32Speaker 4: to controlling this breakneck inflation. He also recognized that lowering
- 19:38Speaker 4: interest rates were necessary for an economic expansion. Yet the
- 19:41Speaker 4: defenders of the bureaucratic swamp have done everything in their
- 19:45Speaker 4: power to paint him as reckless and uninformed, and of
- 19:51Speaker 4: course none of that could be further from the truth.
- 19:56Speaker 4: All Right, we've got to take a short break once
- 19:59Speaker 4: again listening to the Talk Media Network.
- 20:01Speaker 3: The show is Warwayne Allen Route will be here at
- 20:04Speaker 3: the top of the hour.
- 20:05Speaker 4: As always, you can email me Lelsradio gmail dot com.

- 20:31Speaker 3: it my way. Lelcradiogmail dot com. Quick break, We'll come
- 20:34Speaker 3: right back. Stick around.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Hi.

- 20:57Speaker 5: your immune system against active viruses. But doctors Leco was
- 21:01Speaker 5: also searching for a way to address torment viruses and
- 21:04Speaker 5: developed C Shield. While the immune system gets rid of
- 21:08Speaker 5: most viruses, some linger. These dormant viruses include epstein bar

- 21:47Speaker 3: My name is Lee Elsie.
- 21:49Speaker 4: It is a Friday filling in for the first hour
- 21:53Speaker 4: for Wayne Allen ruder.
- 21:54Speaker 3: He'll be here at the top of the hour joining
- 21:56Speaker 3: us right now. One of our.
- 21:57Speaker 4: Brand new go to guests, Judge on Nizarro, retired judge,
- 22:01Speaker 4: And I'll tell you things are happening fast and furious.
- 22:04Speaker 3: Judge.
- 22:05Speaker 6: There's lots happening around the world, and gosh knows well
- 22:08Speaker 6: President Trump has taken the world on by storm.
- 22:10Speaker 3: Incredible, and there's so much news in the cycle.
- 22:14Speaker 6: Appellate lawyers heads are spinning because of the writs that
- 22:17Speaker 6: are being filed on Appellate Court, Supreme Court. And one
- 22:21Speaker 6: thing we know, and I don't mind chiming in right
- 22:22Speaker 6: away saying, you know, process matters. But one of the
- 22:26Speaker 6: reasons I think President Trump came into office the way
- 22:29Speaker 6: he did is he said, the heck with this process,
- 22:32Speaker 6: I'm going to do it this way. And so we
- 22:34Speaker 6: got all this pushback, you know, and Doge is shaking
- 22:38Speaker 6: things up big time. But we have those things called laws,
- 22:41Speaker 6: those pesky things, and so appeals are being had and
- 22:45Speaker 6: there's efforts to block access, et cetera. Let me talk
- 22:48Speaker 6: about the access issue because people are really offended. And
- 22:52Speaker 6: I think folks on the left and you hear from
- 22:53Speaker 6: New York attorney General Letitia James and others. They're saying, oh,
- 22:57Speaker 6: they're accessing all this sensitive information you and I know,
- 23:01Speaker 6: I think that's all pretextual. The government knows everything, they
- 23:04Speaker 6: got all their information. And oh, I suppose because Elon
- 23:08Speaker 6: Musk didn't pass a particular background check. You know, he
- 23:11Speaker 6: passed the background check. But he's not elected, he's is
- 23:15Speaker 6: he appointed?
- 23:16Speaker 7: I don't even know.
- 23:17Speaker 6: I mean, it's you know, some people call him the
- 23:19Speaker 6: president the co president, but the fact is they're just crazy.
- 23:23Speaker 6: The left is crazy because there's all this these questions,
- 23:27Speaker 6: these questions, and I have a commentary as you, from
- 23:30Speaker 6: friends on both sides of the aisle, and who can
- 23:33Speaker 6: argue with rooting out government waste? And I don't care
- 23:37Speaker 6: who the protagonist is. I don't care who the messenger is.
- 23:42Speaker 6: Let's get to the bottom line and cut all this
- 23:44Speaker 6: wasteful funding.
- 23:45Speaker 7: That's my view.
- 23:46Speaker 4: Thank you, because I agree with you one thousand percent.
- 23:49Speaker 4: It could be the most diabolical democrat if they were
- 23:51Speaker 4: doing the same thing, Judge, I swear to God, I
- 23:54Speaker 4: would be like, yes, yeah, root out all this waste.
- 23:58Speaker 3: We're thirty seven trillion in debt.
- 24:00Speaker 4: And you know as well as I know, and I
- 24:02Speaker 4: keep using this as an example, one of the latest
- 24:04Speaker 4: ones that came out, sixty million dollars going to Afghanistan
- 24:07Speaker 4: for condoms. There's not sixty million dollars going that. Come on, man,
- 24:11Speaker 4: it's all a ruse, a gaff, it's a grift.
- 24:14Speaker 3: You know.
- 24:14Speaker 7: I know a guy. I know a guy. I sound
- 24:16Speaker 7: like I'm on the Sopranos.
- 24:18Speaker 3: I know a guy.
- 24:18Speaker 6: I know guy whose job it was and he lives
- 24:21Speaker 6: locally and he might be listening to the show. His
- 24:24Speaker 6: job in the army in Afghanistan was to carry a
- 24:28Speaker 6: suitcase of money and he went around with that money
- 24:31Speaker 6: and he put it in places where he made it work.
- 24:33Speaker 6: And I know this is the way it works because
- 24:36Speaker 6: I know folks that serve there a marine in particular,
- 24:39Speaker 6: retired lieutenant colonel, where they would always have the money
- 24:42Speaker 6: ready for the tribal chieftains because they had no loyalty
- 24:45Speaker 6: these Afghani leaders. They would go with the guy with
- 24:48Speaker 6: the most money, hopefully American. And that's the way it worked.
- 24:51Speaker 6: So you wonder, how is that accounted for. How does
- 24:53Speaker 6: the Department of Army or Department of Defense. There's all
- 24:57Speaker 6: kinds of things going on that we don't know.
- 24:59Speaker 3: The the whole idea. I think it was a while back.
- 25:02Speaker 4: We're not spending twenty four hundred dollars for a hammer,
- 25:05Speaker 4: you know, they're spending what they spend on a hammer,
- 25:07Speaker 4: and the rest of that money is going for that briefcase,
- 25:09Speaker 4: you know what I mean.
- 25:10Speaker 3: No, but it's going or it's going, you know.
- 25:13Speaker 4: Can you explain to me how a guy who makes
- 25:16Speaker 4: one hundred and sixty thousand dollars a year for forty
- 25:18Speaker 4: years is living in a ten million.
- 25:19Speaker 7: Dollar Absolutely, it makes no sense at all.
- 25:21Speaker 3: Right, I'm sorry, makes no sense, all right, So back
- 25:23Speaker 3: to those so okay, so far.
- 25:25Speaker 4: Seemingly, if it doesn't stick, there's an injunction and then
- 25:29Speaker 4: he pivots and goes on to something else.
- 25:31Speaker 3: That's sort of the way it's been so far. I
- 25:33Speaker 3: think so.
- 25:33Speaker 6: And I understand these attorneys general, and I have a
- 25:37Speaker 6: particular view of New York Attorney General and the State
- 25:40Speaker 6: of New York. They have so much government money that
- 25:42Speaker 6: they rely upon. And let's talk about Connecticut for a moment.
- 25:45Speaker 6: And the fact is Waterbury, hard for Bridgeport, New Haven,
- 25:48Speaker 6: New London. They're so dependent on government dollars and gosh,
- 25:53Speaker 6: forbid that we lock that up a little bit, or
- 25:55Speaker 6: at least ask questions on where it's going. So the
- 25:58Speaker 6: Connecticut Congressional delegation Dolor at the helm with her purple hair,
- 26:02Speaker 6: absolutely in freak out mode, you know. And we want
- 26:05Speaker 6: snap funded, we want Medicaid funded, and those programs in school.
- 26:10Speaker 6: We want school meals. Sometimes lunch is the only decent meal. Skicker,
- 26:14Speaker 6: we get all that, okay, but there's a lot of
- 26:16Speaker 6: other stuff, and so I think the public is entitled
- 26:19Speaker 6: to know. Elizabeth Warrent apparently disagrees. She doesn't want anybody
- 26:23Speaker 6: asking questions. The professor doesn't think it's right.
- 26:26Speaker 3: It's interesting. I have a piece of audio and I
- 26:28Speaker 3: can't won't be able to find it.
- 26:29Speaker 4: But it's Elizabeth Warren before she was running her first time,
- 26:33Speaker 4: and somebody had asked the question about finding corruption and
- 26:36Speaker 4: finding the waste of money, and she was, of.
- 26:38Speaker 3: Course all about it. Then now all of a sudden,
- 26:40Speaker 3: they're all backtracking for whatever it is.
- 26:42Speaker 6: I've always said, you know, quests to find corruption, the
- 26:46Speaker 6: Office of the Inspector General, the Office of the Chief
- 26:48Speaker 6: State's Attorney, Public Integrity Unit, the National Office of Inspector General.
- 26:53Speaker 6: We want these institutions in name only. We want the
- 26:57Speaker 6: perception that corruption is being rooted out when it comes
- 27:01Speaker 6: to funding, but don't get too close. I mean, I'm
- 27:04Speaker 6: going to tell you I was in an office where
- 27:05Speaker 6: we found envelopes of cash going to the governor's office,
- 27:09Speaker 6: and then my boss got fired. And I've seen it
- 27:12Speaker 6: again with other Chief states attorneys, and that's what happens.
- 27:15Speaker 6: And the people these are the ugly and the underbelly.
- 27:19Speaker 6: It's all going to come up my book that I'm writing, yes,
- 27:21Speaker 6: which is not yet published, but it does a lot
- 27:23Speaker 6: of ugliness that people have no ideas going on.
- 27:25Speaker 4: I can't wait for that book, so as can we.
- 27:28Speaker 4: Here's what I say politically with you, and I know
- 27:30Speaker 4: you don't want to get too political, but can it
- 27:32Speaker 4: just be that maybe he does really want to do
- 27:35Speaker 4: the right thing.
- 27:35Speaker 6: I think he does right, I think he does, and
- 27:37Speaker 6: then people say he's doing it for money, this and that.
- 27:39Speaker 6: I don't buy it, and I always go back and
- 27:42Speaker 6: I do have to do that because this is an
- 27:43Speaker 6: issue close to my heart, fentanyl and the fight on fentanyl.
- 27:46Speaker 6: He and Jared Kushner in the first Trump administration were
- 27:49Speaker 6: the first administration Democrat or Republican to devote one hundred
- 27:53Speaker 6: million dollars to stopping fentonyl that was in that administration,
- 27:57Speaker 6: and that was you know, how can you argue with that?
- 28:00Speaker 7: He got it done.
- 28:00Speaker 4: He's the only president that ever mentioned sex traffickingland kids too.
- 28:04Speaker 3: I mean, no one else says any attention to that.
- 28:06Speaker 7: Awful what's going on at the border.
- 28:07Speaker 6: And you know, now you listen to a Secretary Holman
- 28:11Speaker 6: what they've seen, and it's just powerful.
- 28:13Speaker 4: So back to just an executive order part of this.
- 28:15Speaker 4: So from to my knowledge, to my understanding, maybe you
- 28:17Speaker 4: can explain he can change or stop in some of
- 28:21Speaker 4: these places, some of these payments if it was a
- 28:23Speaker 4: previous executive order and he's overriding that executive order, he
- 28:28Speaker 4: can cut the funding to that and potentially USAID, to
- 28:30Speaker 4: my knowledge, was a Kennedy invention, right, I think Kennedy
- 28:34Speaker 4: invented USAID back in the day.
- 28:37Speaker 3: So you know, technically he does have some power there.
- 28:40Speaker 3: How I mean, in your mind, how does all that work?
- 28:42Speaker 7: Yeah, I think you're absolutely correct.
- 28:44Speaker 6: You know, executive order, he can modify a prior executive order.
- 28:47Speaker 7: But one thing that.
- 28:48Speaker 6: He's doing, which I think is really smart and it's nuanced.
- 28:52Speaker 6: Is that when he issues these executive orders. On day one,
- 28:55Speaker 6: he had that whole stack and he was showing the signature,
- 28:57Speaker 6: and he had his assistant there, he was passing stuff
- 28:59Speaker 6: off to the fact is, though he's simultaneously having the
- 29:03Speaker 6: White House push leadership in the House and Senate to
- 29:07Speaker 6: draft legislation to codify what he's ordering, and that's just
- 29:11Speaker 6: being smart. And the fact is the Republicans control of
- 29:14Speaker 6: the House and the Senate, so he's getting cover. So
- 29:17Speaker 6: you know, there's going to be challenges. Like you said,
- 29:18Speaker 6: throwing stuff on the wall. People are going to file lawsuits. Okay,
- 29:21Speaker 6: we'll go on to the next one. But that's pretty
- 29:23Speaker 6: pretty smart. And I think they had a plan before
- 29:24Speaker 6: they took office.
- 29:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:25Speaker 4: Plus he's now he's going off to education today, Pentagon's next.
- 29:28Speaker 3: Everything's you know, everything's in his field of vision.
- 29:32Speaker 4: If you can root out some of this waste, I
- 29:34Speaker 4: don't see why anybody would be against that. What are
- 29:36Speaker 4: your thoughts with the plea deals and the Pentagon.
- 29:38Speaker 6: Well, there's a there's an issue on whether they're going
- 29:40Speaker 6: to honor a plea deals Guantanamo Bay. There are some
- 29:44Speaker 6: really bad guys that the Justice Department did plea deals
- 29:47Speaker 6: with and actually it was Lloyd Austin and President Biden
- 29:51Speaker 6: that sought to block these plea deals of bad guys
- 29:55Speaker 6: where the Court of Military Justice entered plea agreements taking
- 29:59Speaker 6: a death penalty. The courts had entered judgments taking the
- 30:03Speaker 6: death penalty off the table, and when Austin and Biden
- 30:08Speaker 6: said they didn't know about it, they sought to vacate it.
- 30:11Speaker 6: So now there's court actions because families connected with problems
- 30:17Speaker 6: are objecting to these plea deals, and so now it's
- 30:20Speaker 6: in the courts. And so you had these plea agreements
- 30:22Speaker 6: that were hatched between the parties, and the federal court
- 30:26Speaker 6: is recognizing that they may not go through that perhaps
- 30:30Speaker 6: the death penalty will come back, and it kind of
- 30:33Speaker 6: throws everything upside down on the whole concept of plea agreements. Well,
- 30:36Speaker 6: you have multiple layers of courts. You have the federal
- 30:39Speaker 6: court system, you have the US Court of Military Appeals,
- 30:42Speaker 6: and the whole military system. I have litigated in the
- 30:45Speaker 6: civilian courts simultaneously to the military courts, a court martial,
- 30:50Speaker 6: and I remember one case anecdotally where we hatched a
- 30:54Speaker 6: deal in the civilian court. I represented a local sailor.
- 30:59Speaker 6: I got charged dismissed. Doesn't matter what the charges were,
- 31:02Speaker 6: but the but the local sub base jag officer, judge, advocate,
- 31:05Speaker 6: general lawyer made an agreement that they would not prosecute
- 31:10Speaker 6: when they found out that I got the civilian charges
- 31:12Speaker 6: dismissed as an attorney, probably thirty years ago. They were
- 31:15Speaker 6: so upset they were instituted the charges. And this guy,
- 31:17Speaker 6: who had been promised he would not be prosecuted over
- 31:20Speaker 6: in grotten was now looking at a court martial, looking
- 31:22Speaker 6: at jail. Everybody who made that deal for him had
- 31:25Speaker 6: left except for me.
- 31:27Speaker 7: They dialed me up.
- 31:28Speaker 6: I go and I testified and it was like a
- 31:30Speaker 6: few good men, these guys that all you know, stuff
- 31:34Speaker 6: on the on the chest. And but for my testimony,
- 31:37Speaker 6: this guy would have gone to a military prison.
- 31:39Speaker 3: Wow.
- 31:40Speaker 6: And I said, judge, and I looked at the military
- 31:43Speaker 6: lawyer military judge, and I said no, there was an agreement.
- 31:45Speaker 6: They said they wouldn't prosecute, period, end of story. And
- 31:48Speaker 6: if I didn't testify to that, this guy would have
- 31:51Speaker 6: gone to the slammer. I mean, it's just amazing how
- 31:54Speaker 6: you have sometimes cooperation, but maybe it's not all in writing,
- 31:57Speaker 6: very very scary, very scary.
- 31:59Speaker 3: What are your thoughts and Trump stopping the Treasury funding?
- 32:02Speaker 7: Yeah, big thing.
- 32:03Speaker 6: You know again, process Donald Trump, I don't think cares
- 32:07Speaker 6: for process. I think he wants to do the right thing,
- 32:10Speaker 6: but he looks at all process as details and unnecessary regulation.
- 32:16Speaker 7: But they're there for a reason.
- 32:17Speaker 6: Again, those pesky laws, and there are the Democrats certainly
- 32:21Speaker 6: are going to hold his feet to the fire, and
- 32:22Speaker 6: indeed some of the Republicans want him to. You can
- 32:26Speaker 6: you know, Congress has the power of the purse. So
- 32:28Speaker 6: when the president steps in, well wait a minute, you
- 32:30Speaker 6: step in on our toes. So chances are, you know
- 32:33Speaker 6: the Senate and the House have something to say about that.
- 32:36Speaker 6: You can't just stop funding a federal agency that you
- 32:39Speaker 6: remember the old expression power of the purse, right, So
- 32:41Speaker 6: we're going to.
- 32:42Speaker 7: See more about that. And he's trying.
- 32:43Speaker 6: Dose is going in and slashing and burning, and there's
- 32:46Speaker 6: probably some section of the US Code. And I'm pretty
- 32:50Speaker 6: sure I saw Hakim Jeffrey's talking about this. Apparently he
- 32:52Speaker 6: makes a monthly statement. I have tremendous respect for Hakim.
- 32:56Speaker 6: Shout out to Hakim. He drove all the way from
- 32:58Speaker 6: New York, to Mystic Tome, to the Martin Luther King dinner.
- 33:01Speaker 6: This is about three weeks before he was elected Minority leader,
- 33:04Speaker 6: so impressive. I was with him and Congress mc courtney.
- 33:07Speaker 6: I just think his heart is in the right place.
- 33:09Speaker 6: He's obviously a Democrat, but he's pretty upset about this
- 33:12Speaker 6: not following process and he's making noise.
- 33:14Speaker 4: Judge, there's never enough time, but we appreciate you carving
- 33:17Speaker 4: out some for us tonight here on the CAUK Media Network,

- 37:03Speaker 4: and that of course is the Pentagon in the military.
- 37:06Speaker 3: And Trump says he's going to, you know.
- 37:08Speaker 4: Get Elon Musk in there to look under the hood
- 37:10Speaker 4: and see what they can save. And I wanted to
- 37:12Speaker 4: get your thoughts. I'm going in there and auditing the Pentagon.
- 37:16Speaker 8: Well, look if the Pentagon, and I believe it has
- 37:20Speaker 8: has embedded a whole bunch of ei stuff and it's
- 37:25Speaker 8: still in there because bureaucracies get really good at hiding
- 37:29Speaker 8: stuff once it's in place, even if nobody agrees with it.
- 37:33Speaker 8: It's like, but this is my project. It's got to
- 37:36Speaker 8: be good and my job is tied to it, so
- 37:38Speaker 8: it has to stay right. You know, maybe they need
- 37:42Speaker 8: some help. We also know the Pentagon has not passed
- 37:47Speaker 8: an audit in decades, and I think they need one.
- 37:52Speaker 8: Everybody who's ever worked there knows the Pentagon is not efficient.
- 37:58Speaker 8: It's particularly when it comes to spending. Our procurement system
- 38:02Speaker 8: has been lambasted for way more than decades as being
- 38:07Speaker 8: inefficient and inappropriate. A lot of that has to do
- 38:11Speaker 8: with laws that Congress has passed. To be honest with you,
- 38:15Speaker 8: you know, they get somebody does something wrong and they
- 38:18Speaker 8: pass a law that then adds to the sclerotic process
- 38:23Speaker 8: that's there and getting anything, and that needs to change.
- 38:29Speaker 8: So if Doage can go in there and clear out
- 38:32Speaker 8: those pipes and make the Pentagon a little more efficient,
- 38:36Speaker 8: I don't think any Americans should complain about that.
- 38:39Speaker 4: I mean, I don't know why anybody would would be
- 38:42Speaker 4: against trying to find out where the waste is even Democrats,
- 38:45Speaker 4: even hardcore left liberal Democrats who love to spend our money.
- 38:49Speaker 4: It's just it doesn't seem like it's in the best
- 38:52Speaker 4: interest of the country. But then again, a lot of
- 38:54Speaker 4: times they don't seem like they have the best interest
- 38:57Speaker 4: in the country at heart either.
- 38:58Speaker 3: So let me ask you.
- 38:59Speaker 4: One of our listeners had a specific question about the
- 39:02Speaker 4: army helicopter crashed, so I wanted to ask guests before
- 39:05Speaker 4: we run out of time. We are told the army
- 39:08Speaker 4: helicopter that crashed had safety technology turned off and was
- 39:13Speaker 4: flying too high. Any good reason why the captain might
- 39:17Speaker 4: have done this?
- 39:19Speaker 8: Talking to my buddies who were black Hawk pilots, I
- 39:23Speaker 8: could not get anybody to give me an answer that,
- 39:26Speaker 8: you know, was zest to that that they should in
- 39:30Speaker 8: that kind of airspace in the dark, even you know,
- 39:34Speaker 8: flying on nods. They should have had all the safety
- 39:39Speaker 8: measures on. They should have been following the very specific
- 39:43Speaker 8: protocols of the altitude they flew out, flew at, and
- 39:49Speaker 8: all that stuff. So no, there was no reason to
- 39:53Speaker 8: justify the fact that they were at you know, three
- 39:55Speaker 8: hundred and ten feet instead of two hundred feet where
- 39:58Speaker 8: they were supposed to be, right, Uh, It's just somebody
- 40:02Speaker 8: made a mistake and we don't know who yet. Obviously,
- 40:07Speaker 8: according to protocols, the plane was at the right height
- 40:10Speaker 8: it was supposed to be, but these guys seemingly were not. Uh.
- 40:14Speaker 8: We need to let the NTSB finish their their investigation,
- 40:20Speaker 8: and I'm pretty confident they'll come to a righteous conclusion
- 40:25Speaker 8: because those guys are pretty darn you know, they're they're
- 40:29Speaker 8: they're sort of obsessive, compulsive about the details and the truth.
- 40:34Speaker 8: I trust the NTSB to come up with the right answer.
- 40:38Speaker 4: Is that like normal protocol, I mean, that's a highly
- 40:41Speaker 4: congested airspace to do a lot of training in and
- 40:44Speaker 4: around that stuff. Is that something happens a lot over
- 40:47Speaker 4: in and around the country different places, not not.
- 40:51Speaker 8: This is pretty exceptional because of the amount of military
- 40:55Speaker 8: traffic that supports the executive branch of the government.
- 41:00Speaker 2: Uh.
- 41:00Speaker 8: There's a program called the uh ah, the Continuity of
- 41:06Speaker 8: Government program where this is the you know the old
- 41:10Speaker 8: TV show Designated Survivor. Uh. You know, when something is
- 41:14Speaker 8: going on, they take people to other places to keep
- 41:18Speaker 8: them safe in case something bad happens, like the Tom
- 41:20Speaker 8: Clancy novel. Guys have to practice those movements and those
- 41:26Speaker 8: are through this congested airspace. Uh, and the pilots who
- 41:31Speaker 8: are stationed there have to stay current, so you've got
- 41:34Speaker 8: to let them fly, and that includes flying at night
- 41:37Speaker 8: and with nods for Blackhawk pilots.
- 41:40Speaker 2: Uh.
- 41:40Speaker 8: So it's it's something that goes on training is dangerous
- 41:46Speaker 8: and you know, I'm guessing they'll probably relook the protocols
- 41:50Speaker 8: right now and and maybe move some of those training
- 41:54Speaker 8: lanes out of uh the these airspaces where this happened,
- 42:00Speaker 8: and you know, we'll fix what went wrong. But clearly
- 42:05Speaker 8: something went wrong, and it was more than just crowded airspace.
- 42:11Speaker 8: It was somebody not doing what they're supposed to do
- 42:14Speaker 8: in the crowded airspace. And we'll get to the bottom
- 42:17Speaker 8: of that.
- 42:17Speaker 5: Suit.
- 42:18Speaker 4: Colonel Stephen Boucci Heritage Foundation find him on the ex S.

- 42:30Speaker 4: I do that.
- 42:31Speaker 8: When I was a deputy assistant secretary, I was Good's
- 42:36Speaker 8: guy to go off to the funny place.
- 42:38Speaker 3: Really. Oh yeah, oh, you got to tell us some stories.
- 42:41Speaker 4: You got to tell us some stories about that down
- 42:43Speaker 4: the road, if you can, I'd love to hear that.
- 42:44Speaker 3: That'd be good.
