- 1:57Speaker 3: we got the duy Q coming up for today, and
- 2:02Speaker 3: then Greg Gory. Yes, I wanted to ask you about because,
- 2:05Speaker 3: uh you, for the first time ever, you said you
- 2:08Speaker 3: came so close to fainting while watching something on television.
- 2:14Speaker 4: Dude, I okay, I faint. I've almost fainted maybe once
- 2:20Speaker 4: in my life.
- 2:20Speaker 3: You've never actually fainted me before.
- 2:22Speaker 4: No, I mean I've gotten a concussion that doesn't count,
- 2:24Speaker 4: but I've never actually fainted. But the other night I
- 2:28Speaker 4: was watching this British documentary about a hospital. It's called
- 2:33Speaker 4: Critical Between Life and Death, so it's real life.
- 2:38Speaker 3: I would to go to hospital emergency rooms and surgeries.
- 2:42Speaker 4: Two of the guys on the show were in these
- 2:45Speaker 4: insane motorcycle accidents, and this one guy had shattered his
- 2:49Speaker 4: ankle and they're showing the surgery of his leg just
- 2:53Speaker 4: opened up and they're trying to piece blood vessels back together. Well,
- 2:58Speaker 4: Mario's way into medical stuff. So we're watching this nothing
- 3:01Speaker 4: shakes it, and in my head I started hearing that
- 3:06Speaker 4: that subtle ring that could be fainting kind of sound.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Thats right.
- 3:12Speaker 11: Did you feel like your eyes were kind of like
- 3:13Speaker 11: going wool?
- 3:14Speaker 4: Yep, and I kind of started hearing that wol, like
- 3:19Speaker 4: this is so gross and it was so I get
- 3:22Speaker 4: up and I said, you know what, I I can't
- 3:23Speaker 4: watch this anymore. I get up and I walk about
- 3:26Speaker 4: five ft and I so embarrassing. I had to like
- 3:29Speaker 4: basically like not fall to the floor. But I got
- 3:31Speaker 4: on all fours and put my head down. Mario had
- 3:34Speaker 4: to get me some water. And I thought I was
- 3:37Speaker 4: gonna faint from watching medical stuff.
- 3:39Speaker 11: Damn, that's crazy.
- 3:41Speaker 4: It is so gross, so critical between life and death.
- 3:44Speaker 4: If you can find that on Netflix, you don't watch wait,
- 3:48Speaker 4: check it out.
- 3:48Speaker 3: So you watched that because Mario watches it, but he
- 3:52Speaker 3: knows how.
- 3:53Speaker 4: I saw the trailer and I said, hey, I saw
- 3:56Speaker 4: this thing that I think you would love me.
- 3:57Speaker 3: He's like, oh, yeah, that looks good. Let's put it on.
- 3:58Speaker 3: And he was like, you shouldn't watch this. Because Gina,
- 4:03Speaker 3: doesn't your husband like Andy, won't he treats her like
- 4:06Speaker 3: a child.
- 4:07Speaker 11: She says, he's being very kind. There's stuff that like
- 4:10Speaker 11: specific stuff about like parents dying in hospital rooms, which
- 4:13Speaker 11: is not my favorite. And I've already been through it
- 4:15Speaker 11: and I don't really want to see it. If he
- 4:17Speaker 11: knows it's going to be like that, he'll be like,
- 4:18Speaker 11: you know what, maybe sit this one out. So I
- 4:20Speaker 11: do appreciate that, But if it's gross, I pissed me
- 4:22Speaker 11: off and just make me want to watch it more
- 4:24Speaker 11: shows about murder. Yeah, that's fine. Nobody I know got murdered.
- 4:29Speaker 11: But sitting in a hospital room day in day out
- 4:31Speaker 11: for years, he gets that. I don't really want to
- 4:33Speaker 11: watch it for entertainment.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Something that I was watching that I couldn't turn away
- 4:36Speaker 3: and not look. Yeah, somebody sent this to me and
- 4:39Speaker 3: I was like, oh my god. I said it immediately
- 4:41Speaker 3: to Morgan into our friend Tony the Whipping Boy. I
- 4:43Speaker 3: think I might have sent to you guys too. Is
- 4:45Speaker 3: it gross?
- 4:45Speaker 11: Is this in the kitchen?
- 4:47Speaker 3: This is no underscore? Limbs underscore?
- 4:51Speaker 11: You send it to?
- 4:51Speaker 3: So popular?
- 4:52Speaker 11: Very popular.
- 4:53Speaker 3: She's got one point one million followers. This chick has
- 4:56Speaker 3: no arms, no legs, and she's like making beef strogles off.
- 5:02Speaker 2: She does a lot of.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Things about she She used to be a key. Yeah,
- 5:08Speaker 3: she holds like look, holding the tongs like underneath her
- 5:11Speaker 3: chin to her chest. Yeah, and she's like chopping onions
- 5:15Speaker 3: and she's making this beef strogan off. Yeah.
- 5:18Speaker 2: I like videos where she shows how to wash her hair,
- 5:21Speaker 2: was herself in the shower, like hits her head against
- 5:24Speaker 2: the wall.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Like I couldn't start, I couldn't stop watching. I watched,
- 5:28Speaker 3: I watched the whole thing, and she made beef strogan off.
- 5:31Speaker 4: That's so random.
- 5:32Speaker 3: I love when the partner picks her up and throws
- 5:34Speaker 3: her in the pool. No underscore, limbs underscore. She's a
- 5:41Speaker 3: makeup influencer. She's been famous for her.
- 5:44Speaker 9: Like two years and this is on top of the
- 5:46Speaker 9: circus freaks online like you guys.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Yeah, she's old news in terms of the circummunity.
- 5:51Speaker 3: There was Yeah, there there was one on here too,
- 5:54Speaker 3: where like like in lingerie and like laying like laying
- 6:00Speaker 3: on the bed like provocatively but had to be propped there.
- 6:03Speaker 3: I almost gotta throat pillow. I'm sure I'm trying. I'm
- 6:06Speaker 3: trying to find it so I can show Greg.
- 6:08Speaker 4: I know this is going to be my new phone.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Just when she starts every video, if it's in her
- 6:12Speaker 2: room or whatever, she'll roll through the door.
- 6:18Speaker 4: Have you ever seen videos like a guy with no
- 6:20Speaker 4: legs and he's like hopping around and stuff. I'm thinking, like,
- 6:23Speaker 4: aren't you like hurting your nethers?
- 6:26Speaker 11: Yeah, you would think that.
- 6:27Speaker 3: But here she's making her way across like the driveway.
- 6:32Speaker 11: You're going down a wormhole right now?
- 6:34Speaker 3: Like, how is that not her? Now? I don't know,
- 6:37Speaker 3: like been snipped? You know, what's that chocol really? No limbs? Yeah,
- 6:43Speaker 3: like if the winger's gone been through so much, well,
- 6:47Speaker 3: she's dragging it across the driveway. I mean, if the
- 6:50Speaker 3: winner is still there, how.
- 6:53Speaker 12: Would there not be one.
- 6:58Speaker 3: No more arms, no more.
- 6:59Speaker 13: Legs, a colossomy bag type thing, because then how are
- 7:02Speaker 13: you changing referring to assignments. Yeah she's a girl now,
- 7:07Speaker 13: oh yeah yeah, I mean like wouldn't you still Okay?
- 7:11Speaker 2: I thought he was saying like injury wise surgery.
- 7:15Speaker 3: I tuned in and I could not tune away.
- 7:18Speaker 11: I can see why are you still watching it?
- 7:20Speaker 3: Yeah? Okay, yeah, let's know what you're underscore limbs.
- 7:24Speaker 4: I'm just just the final product of the beat stroging off.
- 7:27Speaker 4: Look like, oh that looks good or is it like
- 7:28Speaker 4: the kind of a big mess. No, it looks looks
- 7:30Speaker 4: pretty good.
- 7:30Speaker 3: Now. My question is because she's like, uh, she just
- 7:33Speaker 3: propped up on the counter to be able to put
- 7:36Speaker 3: this stuff in there? But like, how do you go
- 7:38Speaker 3: get the bag of noodles? How do you go get
- 7:40Speaker 3: the thing? And then I add three cups of water? Yea, yeah,
- 7:44Speaker 3: like somebody had to go get that the lover. Okay, yeah,
- 7:48Speaker 3: all right, and again make up on point. If you're
- 7:51Speaker 3: gonna be an influencert to make pretty impressive, you gotta
- 7:56Speaker 3: know what you're doing. I've had so many drinks I
- 8:00Speaker 3: didn't even tell you what.
- 8:02Speaker 11: I'm gonna double.
- 8:03Speaker 3: No, this is the show, sug Are you a a
- 8:09Speaker 3: Devil Wears product guy? Oh?
- 8:11Speaker 4: For sure?
- 8:11Speaker 3: Okay, So Devil Wears Product two is coming out. I
- 8:14Speaker 3: know you can. I saw yesterday. You can already buy tickets.
- 8:19Speaker 4: Really, you know, I very rarely go to the theater
- 8:25Speaker 4: like once every on average, once every five years.
- 8:28Speaker 3: This was gonna be my question because I I thought
- 8:30Speaker 3: you were. I just wanted to confirm it. Is this
- 8:32Speaker 3: a movie that you would go to the theater for? Really?
- 8:36Speaker 3: I might really black these days between theater and Netflix. Yeah,
- 8:43Speaker 3: then forget it.
- 8:44Speaker 4: No, I probably wouldn't.
- 8:45Speaker 3: But Greg, here's why you go. You know, they do
- 8:47Speaker 3: all these these little merch things now.
- 8:49Speaker 4: Yeah, because I want I want more junk.
- 8:52Speaker 3: So you can get a pair of sunglasses and a
- 8:54Speaker 3: limited edition promotional Runway magazine. Now picture really cool glasses
- 9:01Speaker 3: that you can get.
- 9:03Speaker 14: Cool.
- 9:03Speaker 3: I don't hate them, Are you serious? I mean, I
- 9:06Speaker 3: don't how dumb those are? They like that?
- 9:07Speaker 4: I don't hate them.
- 9:11Speaker 3: They designed to be like three D. Yeah, they're that.
- 9:13Speaker 11: They're what Miranda Priestley would wear.
- 9:16Speaker 3: And then you know every movie has to have a
- 9:18Speaker 3: special popcorn bucket. Yes, do you want to see what
- 9:21Speaker 3: the popcorn bucket? Shoe or a shoe record a large
- 9:25Speaker 3: popcorn in a sense of style, it looks like a bag,
- 9:27Speaker 3: like I p Yeah, so dumb. What do you do
- 9:35Speaker 3: with that? So dumb?
- 9:36Speaker 4: And it will sell?
- 9:37Speaker 3: Of course it will, all right, Gina, grat what you
- 9:43Speaker 3: got for us?
- 9:43Speaker 11: Well, Kelly Clarkson is coming clean on her big prize
- 9:47Speaker 11: from the American Idol Show.
- 9:49Speaker 3: She jumps, I saw that.
- 9:50Speaker 11: Yeah, this is crazy. She's still waiting on the prize
- 9:52Speaker 11: payout that she was promised, wow, twenty five years ago.
- 9:55Speaker 11: So on this recent episode of her show, You Know
- 9:57Speaker 11: Kelly Clarkson Show, she said she never actually got million
- 10:00Speaker 11: dollar check or anything, like that or the car that
- 10:03Speaker 11: were advertised as part of our prize.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I saw that there was a there was a
- 10:07Speaker 3: clip here I have for that. Yeah. She never got
- 10:09Speaker 3: the million bucks or the car for winning American Idol.
- 10:12Speaker 15: Here's the They were like, oh, you win a million
- 10:14Speaker 15: dollars or whatever.
- 10:15Speaker 2: No, no, no you didn't.
- 10:18Speaker 11: They lied.
- 10:18Speaker 1: You did not know.
- 10:20Speaker 15: It was like a million dollars worth of investment in you.
- 10:24Speaker 15: And then they said you get a car and I
- 10:26Speaker 15: needed it because my car is bashed in and I
- 10:28Speaker 15: couldn't afford the deductible.
- 10:30Speaker 3: No, I did not get a car. And then Claide.
- 10:33Speaker 15: Anykin who didn't win the second season.
- 10:36Speaker 11: Got a car and his law.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Wow.
- 10:41Speaker 3: Yeah, that's crazy. Like the million dollar thing, I do
- 10:43Speaker 3: get because that happens all the time with record deals.
- 10:46Speaker 11: Well, and how do they quantify that? Like I want
- 10:48Speaker 11: to see a line by line, but.
- 10:49Speaker 3: The car thing, they've been sponsored by Ford forever, like
- 10:54Speaker 3: apparently not the first season. Wow, I don't think the
- 10:56Speaker 3: first season because I was who was the guy who
- 10:58Speaker 3: kind of looked like Jay Leno. He was like even
- 11:00Speaker 3: though he said yeah.
- 11:01Speaker 11: That grayish haired guy, Yeah, he was like Salton Pepper.
- 11:04Speaker 3: He's like twenty some years old.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Taylor Taylor something.
- 11:07Speaker 11: Yes, yes, Taylor Sheridan, Yes, no, hold on, Taylor names
- 11:11Speaker 11: Taylor gang hold on.
- 11:13Speaker 4: But I know who you're telling.
- 11:13Speaker 11: Taylor Hicks.
- 11:14Speaker 3: Taylor Hicks, Yeah, yeah, I remember he he got a car.
- 11:19Speaker 3: I think he got a car. I think he got
- 11:20Speaker 3: a Ford. I think it was right around that time
- 11:22Speaker 3: is when they Ford started sponsoring.
- 11:23Speaker 11: But it's all good because Kelly Clarkson definitely has done
- 11:26Speaker 11: the best. But she didn't get a check for a
- 11:29Speaker 11: million dollars.
- 11:29Speaker 8: She did get the movie from Justin to Kelly, and she.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Didn't want to do after her when they threw her
- 11:34Speaker 3: and the runner up, Justin Guarini into that movie from
- 11:37Speaker 3: Justin to Kelly and that, I mean, that was a
- 11:39Speaker 3: box office bomb. It was so embarrassing.
- 11:41Speaker 12: Was it in the box office? I thought that was
- 11:43Speaker 12: like straight to video.
- 11:44Speaker 11: I heard her say an interview, like they forced her
- 11:46Speaker 11: to do that. She was like, please, this is humiliating,
- 11:49Speaker 11: And it was part of the contract.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, menace what you got? Well, Shilah buff
- 11:53Speaker 3: he can international travel, guys, And the reason that he
- 11:57Speaker 3: asked for, uh, you know a special Hey, can I
- 12:01Speaker 3: go to Rome exception to the rule. Yeah, his dad
- 12:05Speaker 3: is getting baptized. Oh now, I know Sammy and Gina,
- 12:10Speaker 3: you guys talk a lot off the air about his
- 12:12Speaker 3: dad in like the whole honey Boy's pretty much about him.
- 12:17Speaker 3: Now is his dad going there to get baptized? So
- 12:19Speaker 3: he could, you know, watch sins or something like that.
- 12:23Speaker 11: Who knows?
- 12:24Speaker 3: Probably yeah, but like I don't know, I didn't watch Honeyboy.
- 12:27Speaker 3: How bad was his dad?
- 12:28Speaker 11: He was nuts?
- 12:29Speaker 8: Yeah, he was not a good person. He was not
- 12:32Speaker 8: nice to Shia obviously in any way, but he was.
- 12:35Speaker 8: He was just a crazy person all around.
- 12:37Speaker 11: And you'd think this would be incredibly like therapeutic, but
- 12:40Speaker 11: Shilah buff plays his crazy dad, right, So it was
- 12:43Speaker 11: a very strange movie.
- 12:44Speaker 3: I think it's weird when you see adults getting baptized.
- 12:48Speaker 3: Are you running from No, No, it's not even that.
- 12:51Speaker 3: I think just again, it's just a visual break like
- 12:53Speaker 3: doing it and I get it, Like, Okay, so you're
- 12:54Speaker 3: you're starting over, You're you know, devoting your life to God.
- 12:59Speaker 3: Okay that that part. Forget all that for a second.
- 13:00Speaker 3: I'm saying just the actual, like.
- 13:02Speaker 11: The optic like leaning back in the water White.
- 13:05Speaker 3: I associated with babies, right, like so it'd be like
- 13:08Speaker 3: getting your diaper change, which is weird. It's like like
- 13:13Speaker 3: like you see an adult on big wheels. Kind I mean,
- 13:16Speaker 3: if I am to baptized babies, I mean, doing it
- 13:18Speaker 3: in Rome would probably be the place to do it. Well, sure,
- 13:21Speaker 3: are you see?
- 13:22Speaker 2: Uh?
- 13:22Speaker 3: You know? Were they like old time? The way they
- 13:24Speaker 3: go down to the river, like the in your clothes?
- 13:28Speaker 11: Yeah, exactly, the songs.
- 13:30Speaker 4: Yeah, that's strange.
- 13:32Speaker 3: I was about to ask Gena she was baptized, But
- 13:34Speaker 3: I've never I've.
- 13:35Speaker 11: Never been seen. I've never been to a baptism baptized.
- 13:39Speaker 4: Greg, were you I was christened? I don't know the
- 13:42Speaker 4: difference the same thing?
- 13:43Speaker 16: Is it?
- 13:44Speaker 4: Okay?
- 13:44Speaker 3: Well then yes, no religious? Yeah, I'm sure I was.
- 13:49Speaker 3: I don't even know for sure.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Wow, see I.
- 13:51Speaker 12: Was baptized first communion, reconciliation.
- 13:54Speaker 11: Reconciliation.
- 13:55Speaker 8: Oh yeah, that's when you confess for the first time,
- 13:59Speaker 8: nothing to Yeah, no, exactly.
- 14:01Speaker 3: What did you confess?
- 14:03Speaker 8: I mean I had to come up with something, so
- 14:06Speaker 8: I just said I lied.
- 14:08Speaker 1: No, well, I lied, but my confession.
- 14:11Speaker 8: Was that I lie sometimes technically, and he was like
- 14:14Speaker 8: trying not to do that anymore, and I was like,
- 14:17Speaker 8: but everyone does it. As a group because it's like,
- 14:19Speaker 8: you know, you go to c c D and then
- 14:20Speaker 8: everyone shows up for the reconciliation.
- 14:22Speaker 3: See I forgot about that.
- 14:23Speaker 8: And you're all in your means, like yeah, it's kind
- 14:28Speaker 8: of Catholic school, but it's like an after school program.
- 14:31Speaker 2: It's not school.
- 14:33Speaker 12: It's on a Catholic school.
- 14:33Speaker 11: It's just you go there to learn about So I.
- 14:36Speaker 3: Remember all my my Jewish friends.
- 14:39Speaker 11: He was from kindergarten to high school.
- 14:41Speaker 3: Learned to read like Torah because it was like kind
- 14:43Speaker 3: of prep for your bars.
- 14:46Speaker 1: You learned everything.
- 14:48Speaker 11: You learned everything, but actually how to speak Heber, which
- 14:50Speaker 11: is insane.
- 14:51Speaker 3: Yeah, you get prepared to accept all those checks at
- 14:54Speaker 3: the over that money. Almost friends made out. Yeah, it
- 15:00Speaker 3: was like before school, like super early in the movie.
- 15:03Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, Greg Gory, what you got.
- 15:06Speaker 4: So Billie Eilish officially made her acting debut in this
- 15:10Speaker 4: Amazon Prime video series called Swarm that was in twenty
- 15:12Speaker 4: twenty three, and now she's going to make her film
- 15:15Speaker 4: debut in a movie that I for some reason think
- 15:18Speaker 4: that Gina would be into, The Bell Jar. It's based
- 15:21Speaker 4: on the Sylvia Plath book Bell Jar. So it's about
- 15:24Speaker 4: this you know that book, right, Menace. Yeah, he's read it.
- 15:27Speaker 4: I have four times.
- 15:28Speaker 3: I know that name, so I don't know the name.
- 15:30Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 15:31Speaker 4: It's about a young woman in nineteen fifties New York
- 15:33Speaker 4: and her mental health starts to deteriorate.
- 15:36Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 15:36Speaker 4: But the reason this caught my eyes because it's directed
- 15:38Speaker 4: by Sarah Polly and Menace. You don't know Sarah Polly
- 15:42Speaker 4: by name, but she was in one of your favorite
- 15:44Speaker 4: movies and one of my favorite movies.
- 15:46Speaker 3: Flight to the Navigator Go.
- 15:48Speaker 4: That is such an underrated movie. She was the chick
- 15:51Speaker 4: who bought the aspirin to make it look like X.
- 15:55Speaker 3: Oh nice. Yeah, dude, so go a movie in the
- 15:58Speaker 3: mid to late Yeah. I had the best soundtrack. Yeah
- 16:01Speaker 3: it was I remember the soundtrack. Yeah, it was great movie.
- 16:04Speaker 3: It was the Hangover before the Hangover.
- 16:06Speaker 4: Yeah, for sure. Sarah Paul was one of the movies.
- 16:08Speaker 4: And she's directing Billie Eilish in her film debut. Nice.
- 16:12Speaker 3: Yeah. Billy Irish has a concert film too that looked
- 16:16Speaker 3: pretty cool.
- 16:17Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 16:17Speaker 4: I think James Cameron's doing that.
- 16:18Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, it's all something about the release of that
- 16:20Speaker 3: got delayed. I watched like a trailer for the trailer

- 17:39Speaker 11: He was a birthday has a birthday across Neil.
- 17:44Speaker 3: Hirsh is forty one, and I'm gonna mention it just

- 18:05Speaker 3: hello and she said, hi. Yeah, your porn of birthday
- 18:11Speaker 3: is Kristin Scott in Today's Birthday Girl. She's handled more
- 18:14Speaker 3: sticks than a Drumline six and nineteen fine films, including
- 18:18Speaker 3: The Vagina Whisper. She was in Cream of the Crop
- 18:22Speaker 3: Cream Pies. Also a pool party turns into a lesbian
- 18:26Speaker 3: four way orgy, full time and Lesbians God. She was
- 18:31Speaker 3: in The Young and the Bushless Volume two, So this
- 18:35Speaker 3: sounds like one that would appeal to Gina. She was
- 18:37Speaker 3: in This Is Taking Too Long Volume one. Sometimes Yeah,
- 18:41Speaker 3: you won't even know I'm down there, Volume one. Who
- 18:45Speaker 3: can forget her? In Buttholehoores Volume six, that is Kristin
- 18:50Speaker 3: Scott who's thirty one years old today. And that's your
- 18:53Speaker 3: porn of birthday, your celebrity birthdays, and that is a
- 18:56Speaker 3: look of what's happening around the world of entertainment.
- 19:09Speaker 10: Hey, welcome back.
- 19:11Speaker 1: It's show.
- 19:13Speaker 3: We talked about. Oh, because of the Billie Eilish. I said,
- 19:16Speaker 3: there's a Billi Irish concert documentary. You said, James Cameron's
- 19:20Speaker 3: doing it all right, thought I thought, so, Yeah, I know,
- 19:23Speaker 3: I know there was something about James Cameron that I saw.
- 19:26Speaker 3: The question still is out there. I have yet to
- 19:28Speaker 3: meet anybody who says they love Avatar. Yeah, talk about
- 19:34Speaker 3: some of it is just this is this is nothing
- 19:37Speaker 3: more than just that there. It's a cram down.
- 19:41Speaker 9: The Force fed it to us, and it takes a
- 19:43Speaker 9: ton of money because it's international, and it is dub
- 19:48Speaker 9: it really easily because it's animation.
- 19:49Speaker 3: It's just cartoons doing something that really is an interesting
- 19:52Speaker 3: So James Cameron says a fourth Avatar film is very likely.
- 19:57Speaker 3: Like talk about cooking the books. I can't believe that
- 20:00Speaker 3: numbers like when the Avatar movie comes out and then
- 20:03Speaker 3: how much money it makes, because I I don't know
- 20:06Speaker 3: if I know anybody who's seen it at the theater.
- 20:09Speaker 3: He's ready to say that he could do six.
- 20:12Speaker 4: And it doesn't even look good like the graphics, you know,
- 20:16Speaker 4: like it looks like it was made in the late eighties.
- 20:18Speaker 12: Well, the first one was groundbreaking. I thought it was great.
- 20:21Speaker 3: When it was long, just because it was visual.
- 20:24Speaker 12: Yeah, the visual aspect, but.
- 20:26Speaker 3: Nothing about the story. The characters are.
- 20:28Speaker 4: Right, like their faces are dumb and the color is dumb.
- 20:31Speaker 9: I want to support you Woody on this because I
- 20:33Speaker 9: would say this for years, but also I'm just thinking
- 20:35Speaker 9: about it when I walk around like literal Comic Con,
- 20:37Speaker 9: which is you would think the biggest thing for everybody. Sure,
- 20:40Speaker 9: the number of Avatar costumes is maybe non existed. There
- 20:44Speaker 9: might be one or two, but it's just not in
- 20:47Speaker 9: the public consciousness like you would think a five million
- 20:50Speaker 9: dollar franchise.
- 20:51Speaker 3: Now I will tell you, and I haven't I haven't
- 20:53Speaker 3: been on it myself, but the Avatar ride in Orlando
- 20:57Speaker 3: is supposed to be badass, Like that's really cool. There's
- 21:00Speaker 3: two of them. There's that's kind of like Bias of
- 21:02Speaker 3: the Caribbean, not that great, and then the other one
- 21:05Speaker 3: that's like there's one three D like roller coaster, that
- 21:08Speaker 3: one is bad supposed to be.
- 21:11Speaker 8: Yeah, but they're going to be building an Avatar land,
- 21:13Speaker 8: so I'm sure they're going all in on Avatar.
- 21:16Speaker 3: But they've gone all on Avatar and it's still not good,
- 21:17Speaker 3: but more so yeah, because it still makes a bazillion
- 21:21Speaker 3: dollars right by who? That's that's my thing?
- 21:24Speaker 9: Is this?
- 21:25Speaker 3: It's just real, it's obligations, gues, we're supposed to do this.
- 21:28Speaker 11: I saw the first one from my couch. I don't
- 21:30Speaker 11: think I finished it.
- 21:31Speaker 3: Yeap, Arnold Schwarzenegger could return for the next Predator film.
- 21:36Speaker 4: Oh okay at eighty Yeah, kind of weird.
- 21:40Speaker 3: Yep, So they're talking about that. I said, what was
- 21:42Speaker 3: the other one? Because he got his start in yeah,
- 21:46Speaker 3: the Barbles. Yeah, I saw they're making a Cone in
- 21:48Speaker 3: the Barbarian movie, but with him in it. Well no, no,
- 21:51Speaker 3: he's not this This is this is a separate thing,
- 21:54Speaker 3: but just like a remake. But I was but I
- 21:56Speaker 3: was wondering, like, are there any Cone in the Barbarian fans?
- 22:00Speaker 3: Who's clamoring for that original?
- 22:02Speaker 11: It worked for Mad Max, all those movies are amazing.
- 22:05Speaker 3: I don't think these people know what it is.
- 22:07Speaker 9: It's just yeah, I think the only one of those
- 22:09Speaker 9: franchises that really has done well independently is Predator, because
- 22:13Speaker 9: they have had numerous TV shows, that's true, and sequels
- 22:17Speaker 9: that were successful without uh, you know, without Arnold in
- 22:20Speaker 9: any way whatsoever.
- 22:21Speaker 3: Yeah, now something, I know a lot of people watch
- 22:24Speaker 3: NFL football. They are now said to be exploring scheduling
- 22:27Speaker 3: of game on Thanksgiving Eve, all right, because they're quote
- 22:30Speaker 3: looking for new opportunities to best serve our fans and
- 22:33Speaker 3: the schedule making process. Having a Wednesday night game might
- 22:36Speaker 3: end up being good for business, won't likely make players
- 22:39Speaker 3: very happy, but very smart though. Yeah. Uh, it's if
- 22:43Speaker 3: serving the best interest of the fans is really the goal,
- 22:46Speaker 3: then perhaps not Nikolin diming them when they make games
- 22:49Speaker 3: exclusive to specific streaming services should be discussed, particularly in
- 22:52Speaker 3: the playoff, says the article, says the article on the
- 22:56Speaker 3: way articles.
- 22:57Speaker 9: Because that's because that's drunks Giving, that's blackout Wednesday, Yes
- 23:00Speaker 9: people Thanksgiving.
- 23:02Speaker 3: Wait, isn't the Super Bowl this year finally lined up
- 23:06Speaker 3: where we had the day off the next day? Is
- 23:08Speaker 3: that right?
- 23:08Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 23:08Speaker 3: I think so. I think we've been asking for it forever.
- 23:13Speaker 3: I mean that President's Day is such a week holiday
- 23:15Speaker 3: though we've been clamoring.
- 23:16Speaker 9: Yeah, I think it lines up, not only that it'll
- 23:21Speaker 9: be on Valentine's Day manes whoa, oh really so yeah,
- 23:25Speaker 9: Valentine's Day is February fourteenth into President's Day.
- 23:28Speaker 3: Yep, okay, we because that's cool. They've been good pull
- 23:31Speaker 3: back so far. That's cool. Britt Harrison Ford says that
- 23:34Speaker 3: he has had sex to some of his movies soundtracks.
- 23:38Speaker 3: All right, why wouldn't you. Let's see. Kim Kardashian and
- 23:43Speaker 3: Chris Jenner submitted sworn declarations in their lawsuit against Ray J.
- 23:47Speaker 3: This is still a thing, denying that they colluded to
- 23:50Speaker 3: release the sex tape. How is this? What year was that? Right?
- 23:54Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 23:55Speaker 4: That was Why do you care?
- 23:56Speaker 11: Twenty at least twenty years ago.
- 23:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm raising by you.
- 24:00Speaker 4: I mean, why do they care?
- 24:01Speaker 3: I have no idea. Kate Winslet is isn't he like
- 24:06Speaker 3: half dead?
- 24:07Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 24:07Speaker 3: Yeah? He says he has until the end of the
- 24:10Speaker 3: year to live. Well, you better hurry up with the
- 24:12Speaker 3: lost issues. Kate Winslet is joining the cast of Lord
- 24:15Speaker 3: of the Rings The Hunt for Gollum.
- 24:17Speaker 11: I love the Warden who she's.
- 24:19Speaker 3: Playing, and in addition to Rihanna's home. An airstream trailer
- 24:23Speaker 3: on her property was also hit by bullets. The story
- 24:27Speaker 3: and here's the thing. Rihanna and Asap Rocky were inside
- 24:31Speaker 3: the trailer at the time. We could have lost her.
- 24:35Speaker 3: She has a lot, all right, and again I would
- 24:38Speaker 3: like to apologize and in advance to the Osbourne family.
- 24:43Speaker 3: I know they've been going through a lot and they
- 24:45Speaker 3: miss Ozzy as I mean, look, Ozzie was cool. He
- 24:47Speaker 3: was I interviewed him a number of times over the years.
- 24:49Speaker 3: He was always super nice guy. Obviously a legend of
- 24:52Speaker 3: the music industry. But this is another one of the
- 24:54Speaker 3: besides the Rihanna you know thing beyond the what's her
- 24:58Speaker 3: name from the Today Show moms. Yeah, you know, the
- 25:03Speaker 3: news really knows how to just keep a story going.
- 25:05Speaker 11: I just squeeze the juice, dude.
- 25:07Speaker 3: Every day. We don't need something involving the Osbourne.
- 25:10Speaker 11: Yeah, there's another.
- 25:11Speaker 3: I mean not that, not now. I mean back in
- 25:13Speaker 3: the days where they had the TV show. Okay, fine,
- 25:16Speaker 3: but like today twenty twenty six, os They're not so
- 25:19Speaker 3: interesting that we need something new about them every single day. Yeah,
- 25:22Speaker 3: but every single day there's something new. Now, this one
- 25:24Speaker 3: I could see where. Okay, they gets a mention because
- 25:26Speaker 3: Jack Osborne named his new baby daughter Ozzy Matilda.
- 25:30Speaker 12: Odd, yeah for a girl?
- 25:33Speaker 11: Why well, first of all, that wasn't his real name, right,
- 25:36Speaker 11: name was an Ozzy and the little girl? I mean sure,
- 25:39Speaker 11: what's your name Ozzy Osbourne? Yeah, it's trye right.
- 25:43Speaker 3: You probably nickname? Yeah, I think that's a cool name.
- 25:47Speaker 11: What could the nickname?
- 25:48Speaker 2: Ozzie Matilda.
- 25:50Speaker 3: Or Aussie. She'll go by Ozzy Ozzy.
- 25:54Speaker 11: She's Ozzy Osbourne, Ozzy and Harriet Harriet right either way? Godless?
- 26:02Speaker 3: Yeah? Good? Adam and Eve?
- 26:05Speaker 8: Right?
- 26:05Speaker 3: Right? But was it like Eve was the chick?
- 26:07Speaker 11: Yes?
- 26:08Speaker 3: Okay, No, No, there's there's another. There's another like h
- 26:13Speaker 3: Adam the girl.
- 26:14Speaker 10: There's another.
- 26:15Speaker 3: No, no, there's another well known and I can't I
- 26:17Speaker 3: can't place it right now. There's another, like well known
- 26:19Speaker 3: duo where it's like it sounds now, it sounds backwards
- 26:23Speaker 3: where you're like, wait, that's not the chick. Oh no,
- 26:26Speaker 3: the chick isn't know who you're thinking of. Movie, I
- 26:32Speaker 3: don't know. It'll it'll hit me at some random ass
- 26:34Speaker 3: time and you know, I'll stop everything when oh, all right,
- 26:40Speaker 3: we're gonna take a quick break eight seven seven forty
- 26:42Speaker 3: four Wooding. If you want to hit us up, send
- 26:44Speaker 3: us a text. Friday. Check in on the text over
- 26:46Speaker 3: to two to nine eight seven more what he show?
- 26:49Speaker 4: Now show.
- 26:58Speaker 3: And it's another new hour Insensitivity Training for a politically
- 27:02Speaker 3: correct World. Had a happy Friday to you. I am
- 27:05Speaker 3: what that is?
- 27:06Speaker 17: Greg Gory Friday, we got Menace, Hi Sea bass Is here,
- 27:11Speaker 17: We've got Sammy, We've got Morgan Friday, and we've got
- 27:15Speaker 17: your trending news headlines.
- 27:17Speaker 11: Yeah, well, this story's crazy. A guy who would have
- 27:20Speaker 11: who had been convicted of supporting Isis started shooting up
- 27:23Speaker 11: at an ROTC class.
- 27:25Speaker 3: Oh I saw this is nuts. Yeah, I saw the
- 27:28Speaker 3: story and there is a dass what's up element to
- 27:31Speaker 3: it that I love the whole thing.
- 27:33Speaker 11: Basically, this is an Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.
- 27:38Speaker 11: Yesterday he killed the instructor. He wounded two students. Apparently
- 27:42Speaker 11: he walked into the classroom and asked if it was
- 27:45Speaker 11: an ROTC class, and when they said yes, he reportedly
- 27:48Speaker 11: shouted Alohua akbar and started shooting. But here's the thing.
- 27:52Speaker 11: As soon as the dude started shooting, the student stepped
- 27:54Speaker 11: in subdued the guy and killed him.
- 27:58Speaker 3: Even the subdue him and just hold him to the cops.
- 28:01Speaker 3: Get there. You choke the life out of this he
- 28:04Speaker 3: opened fire. Yeah, that's it. Zach's threatened fire exactly.
- 28:08Speaker 11: So yeah, died though, right, yeah.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:10Speaker 11: The instructor and two students were wounded. The FBI says
- 28:14Speaker 11: that the students showed extreme bravery and courage when they
- 28:17Speaker 11: took him down, prevented more loss of life, of course,
- 28:19Speaker 11: and the two victims who survived were taken to the
- 28:22Speaker 11: hospital and should be okay.
- 28:24Speaker 3: Us we've said, you know, I don't think you're ever
- 28:26Speaker 3: going to see again where someone tries to take over
- 28:28Speaker 3: a plane or hydra and people were just going to
- 28:31Speaker 3: sit there and wait it out. No, they're going to
- 28:33Speaker 3: get up collectively and you know, power and numbers, and
- 28:36Speaker 3: they're going to stomp the life out of this guy
- 28:39Speaker 3: at thirty two thousand feet in the air.
- 28:41Speaker 18: Right.
- 28:41Speaker 11: And we have another example that a dude is dead
- 28:43Speaker 11: after he took his truck and rammed it into a
- 28:45Speaker 11: synagogue in Detroit. Authorities think that this a hole had
- 28:49Speaker 11: a rifle on him and died in the shootout as
- 28:51Speaker 11: soon as he stepped out of the truck. The synagogue
- 28:54Speaker 11: was filled with staff and one hundred and forty students,
- 28:56Speaker 11: but none of them were hurt thanks to the security guards.
- 28:59Speaker 11: The only people that even got sent to the hospital
- 29:01Speaker 11: were a security guard who was knocked unconscious and thirty
- 29:04Speaker 11: law enforcement officers who are treated for smoke inhalation when
- 29:07Speaker 11: the building caught on fire. The motive for the attack
- 29:10Speaker 11: still under investigation, but the FBI says the incident is
- 29:13Speaker 11: being seen as an act of violence against the Jewish community.
- 29:16Speaker 11: And like you said, when we keep hearing these stories,
- 29:19Speaker 11: do you think this is going to cause less of
- 29:20Speaker 11: them when people like I'll just take you out here.
- 29:23Speaker 3: Yeah, it depends. I mean I think people will still
- 29:25Speaker 3: do them because they're so fired up about you know,
- 29:29Speaker 3: politics or whatever it is. You know, they're so filled
- 29:33Speaker 3: with hate for Jews that it doesn't matter because a
- 29:37Speaker 3: lot of these guys are like they're willing to die
- 29:40Speaker 3: die for whatever their cause is.
- 29:42Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 29:43Speaker 3: True, and there's no negotiating with that. But I think
- 29:45Speaker 3: you give them what they want, Yeah, ablutely. So when
- 29:47Speaker 3: this guy walks in and he starts shooting up the room,
- 29:50Speaker 3: and the other ROTC guys like stomp the life out, Yeah,
- 29:54Speaker 3: fire with that too.
- 29:55Speaker 11: Well, this could really help a lot, Morgan. I want
- 29:57Speaker 11: you to listen closely on this because this could be
- 29:59Speaker 11: another path for you. The FBI has formed a one
- 30:02Speaker 11: of a kind partnership in order to keep their agents
- 30:04Speaker 11: with some specialized training. They're bringing in UFC fighters to
- 30:09Speaker 11: the FBI Academy in Virginia. They're going to show different
- 30:12Speaker 11: techniques and tactics to subdue people and give insight on
- 30:16Speaker 11: how they train for competition. Nice, it's a great idea,
- 30:19Speaker 11: No kidding.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Well trained trained someone else?
- 30:21Speaker 11: Yeah, exactly, take a nap.
- 30:22Speaker 3: There's someone you respect. Take people down immediately, right.
- 30:26Speaker 11: The FBI is calling it a huge opportunity and says
- 30:29Speaker 11: that the UFC will help the FBI even better be
- 30:32Speaker 11: prepared to protect Americans and the bureau is aiming to
- 30:34Speaker 11: improve their skills, and the UFC had Dana White, says
- 30:38Speaker 11: they're proud to support the national defense. So this is
- 30:40Speaker 11: a great partnershop.
- 30:41Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 30:41Speaker 3: See, Now I will take it a step further, and
- 30:43Speaker 3: I'll say, I don't even know why we bother training
- 30:45Speaker 3: to go to hand to hand battle. If somebody starts
- 30:48Speaker 3: swinging you're a cop. Somebody starts swinging it, you should
- 30:50Speaker 3: just be allowed to shoot them whip out your immediately. No, like,
- 30:52Speaker 3: oh no, let's just fight them, no, tase them, No,
- 30:55Speaker 3: let's you just get to shoot them.
- 30:57Speaker 2: Well ideally both Yeah, sure, God forbid. You don't have
- 31:01Speaker 2: a weapon on you at the time.
- 31:02Speaker 11: And as well as we all know, Morgan's Fists are
- 31:04Speaker 11: registered in like forty eight states, are they, so that
- 31:07Speaker 11: could help too. Yeah. AMC Theaters says it's going to
- 31:10Speaker 11: close down more locations because they're not doing so great.
- 31:14Speaker 11: The theater chain has over eight hundred and fifty locations
- 31:16Speaker 11: around the world, but they've already started shutting down more
- 31:19Speaker 11: than two hundred in the past five years since people
- 31:22Speaker 11: are just streaming movies at home. Guilty. The company CFO
- 31:25Speaker 11: told investors that when Lisa's come up for renewal, they're
- 31:28Speaker 11: going to decide which ones are worth keeping, which ones
- 31:30Speaker 11: aren't doing so good. And AMC hasn't said which theaters
- 31:33Speaker 11: are going to close, but the CEO says AMC still
- 31:36Speaker 11: had a strong year and expects big movies like Spider
- 31:39Speaker 11: Man and Avengers in the New Maana and Dune all
- 31:43Speaker 11: to keep audiences in the theaters.
- 31:45Speaker 3: Yeah, there was an article that we were talking about
- 31:48Speaker 3: somewhat recently where there was a birdiction, as Menace would
- 31:51Speaker 3: call it, birdictions, the.
- 31:52Speaker 4: Theaters are going to be gone within what eight years
- 31:54Speaker 4: was it?
- 31:54Speaker 3: It was like it was more like ten years. Within
- 31:58Speaker 3: the decade.
- 31:58Speaker 4: I think it's way less, right.
- 32:00Speaker 3: So we were just talking about that because that was
- 32:01Speaker 3: that was the verdiction based on you know, business and
- 32:04Speaker 3: different things. So I think it was the way that
- 32:07Speaker 3: Vaughn cut the video up. It made it look like
- 32:09Speaker 3: we were predicting that, and so people were like, you
- 32:12Speaker 3: guys are idiots. I'm like, hey, we're just asking you
- 32:15Speaker 3: if you thought that was gonna happen or noah, I do.
- 32:18Speaker 3: I mean, it's definitely going that way because people are like, hey,
- 32:21Speaker 3: why am I going to pay?
- 32:22Speaker 4: Theaters are going to be the blockbuster of our time.
- 32:26Speaker 11: Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I was like,
- 32:27Speaker 11: what could we compare this to drive ins? They're not
- 32:30Speaker 11: on every corner in every town. Now.
- 32:32Speaker 3: I think you'll see more where it's just you go
- 32:35Speaker 3: to an imax experience. You can see whatever the movie is,
- 32:39Speaker 3: but you get an imax or like what they're doing
- 32:42Speaker 3: with the Wizard of Oz at the Sphere, like where
- 32:44Speaker 3: it's this big immersive thing or a place like Cosm
- 32:47Speaker 3: Cosm yeah, or like.
- 32:48Speaker 11: The four D where your seat starts shaking.
- 32:50Speaker 3: Yeah, things like that, but just like your average you
- 32:53Speaker 3: know movie.
- 32:54Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 32:55Speaker 11: And I think the keyword you said was experience. You
- 32:57Speaker 11: don't just go sit in a seat and watch something
- 32:59Speaker 11: you watch.
- 32:59Speaker 3: On your I mean you got to get this special
- 33:02Speaker 3: popcorn bucket you can't get. So again, this wasn't my verdiction.
- 33:06Speaker 3: It wasn't the show's verdiction. Saw the article about we
- 33:09Speaker 3: brought up to see if you the listener agreed or
- 33:12Speaker 3: disagreed with that. But man, people they got triggered, They
- 33:15Speaker 3: got like really upset. The April May, though, is gonna
- 33:18Speaker 3: be really good for movies. You have the new Super
- 33:22Speaker 3: Marios movie, you have Mortal Kombat, you have the Michael
- 33:27Speaker 3: Jackson movie. Uh, there's one other big one that's coming
- 33:30Speaker 3: out that I was excited for.
- 33:32Speaker 11: Spider Man, Avengers, Devil, Worst Product, Devilsduct.
- 33:36Speaker 2: These are movies that have already existed before. There's nothing
- 33:39Speaker 2: new coming out.
- 33:40Speaker 11: Right Like that isn't already sort of a two three
- 33:43Speaker 11: four right right.
- 33:44Speaker 3: In the Mandalorian. Oh yeah, that's gonna be big.
- 33:47Speaker 2: Like I said, I'll definitely be there.
- 33:49Speaker 11: Yeah, well, I am dying to know what you think
- 33:52Speaker 11: of this. Since less and less TSA workers are reporting
- 33:56Speaker 11: to work thanks to the government shut down, airports are
- 33:58Speaker 11: now asking the public for help. So both the Denver
- 34:01Speaker 11: and Seattle airports are asking people for donations to the
- 34:04Speaker 11: TSA workers that are.
- 34:06Speaker 3: Still taxes, y don and gift cards a specific years ago.
- 34:10Speaker 11: Yes, they want gift cards for grocery stores and gas stations.
- 34:15Speaker 11: Officials say that donations would help the financial stress of
- 34:18Speaker 11: these employees that are still coming in but not getting
- 34:20Speaker 11: their paychecks. And while donating gifts to federal employees is illegal,
- 34:24Speaker 11: there is a little work around.
- 34:25Speaker 3: Guys.
- 34:26Speaker 11: It's the gift card. So up to a certain amount,
- 34:28Speaker 11: you can give gift cards for stuff like stores, but
- 34:32Speaker 11: not Visa cards or American Express.
- 34:33Speaker 3: So is this when you're going through the airport and
- 34:35Speaker 3: you can give it to the people who are actually there,
- 34:37Speaker 3: like I mean, or is it just like a general
- 34:39Speaker 3: thing they're trying to set up to give to TSA workers.
- 34:42Speaker 3: So if I'm giving a gift card, can I make
- 34:44Speaker 3: sure it goes to the ones who are still showing
- 34:46Speaker 3: up to work. Yeah?
- 34:47Speaker 11: I don't know if it's like a little like suggestion box,
- 34:49Speaker 11: you know, where you put it in the slit or
- 34:51Speaker 11: you just hand it to the guy telling.
- 34:52Speaker 18: Me that.
- 34:55Speaker 3: High five.
- 34:58Speaker 11: What's it called the slots in the box?
- 35:04Speaker 3: In the box exactly when.
- 35:05Speaker 4: You put your room key in a slip.
- 35:07Speaker 3: Slide a boner with you. I'd rather just hand it
- 35:15Speaker 3: to them directly. Yeah, yeah, I mean the last time
- 35:17Speaker 3: this happened and I was going to the airport, I
- 35:21Speaker 3: just make sure I thanked everybody and they appreciated it too.
- 35:24Speaker 3: I was like, hey, thank you for being here because
- 35:25Speaker 3: I know you're not getting paid, and they they loved
- 35:28Speaker 3: it when I said thank you. At least, well most
- 35:31Speaker 3: people would. I mean, you know, just be friendly.
- 35:34Speaker 11: Yeah, And I've never done this because I guess I'm
- 35:36Speaker 11: too shy, but everyone's always like, hey, from a flight attendant,
- 35:39Speaker 11: let me tell you. If you walk on the plane
- 35:41Speaker 11: and give me a chocolate bar, give me it, we
- 35:43Speaker 11: love you. And I would just feel like such a
- 35:45Speaker 11: douche being like, oh, thanks, really want the plane.
- 35:47Speaker 3: Here's a chocolate People do that where they give them money.
- 35:50Speaker 3: It's one of those big, king sized, you know, bricks
- 35:53Speaker 3: of chocolate basically, and they have like a twenty dollars
- 35:55Speaker 3: bill on top and they hand it to the flight
- 35:57Speaker 3: attend Nice.
- 35:57Speaker 11: It sounds great. I just feel like I do.
- 36:00Speaker 4: I feel like it would be door key.
- 36:01Speaker 3: Yeah, well, because what happens is they keep bringing you
- 36:04Speaker 3: drinks and this is you're sitting in coach. If you're
- 36:08Speaker 3: sitting in first class, you're getting that anyway.
- 36:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 36:11Speaker 3: I saw this YouTuber. It was crazy. He gave everybody
- 36:14Speaker 3: like the AirPod maxes. So I did think it was weird.
- 36:20Speaker 3: I had this thought one time, and I was, you know,
- 36:23Speaker 3: fortunate enough from sitting in first class and they're I
- 36:26Speaker 3: mean bringing you stuff the entire time. They're bringing the
- 36:29Speaker 3: meal and they're setting up, they're taking away. I'm thinking, now,
- 36:31Speaker 3: why don't you tip them? I'm being asked to tip,
- 36:34Speaker 3: and I go, you know, uh, pick something up at wherever,
- 36:37Speaker 3: like places that don't they're not yeah, not like a
- 36:41Speaker 3: typical tipping kind of situation, but it's still bringing it
- 36:43Speaker 3: up on the screen, like how much you like to tip?
- 36:45Speaker 11: Nothing and you're getting the full.
- 36:48Speaker 3: Yeah, they're like preparing getting the meal together because they're
- 36:51Speaker 3: the ones preparing it, like he didn't heating it, you know,
- 36:54Speaker 3: and then you know, bringing it out and getting in
- 36:56Speaker 3: whatever you need, refilling your drinks and like, well, why
- 36:58Speaker 3: wouldn't you tip them?
- 37:00Speaker 11: Allowed to tip them?
- 37:01Speaker 3: Yeah, of course, if you allowed to give them chocolate
- 37:03Speaker 3: bars and true.
- 37:04Speaker 11: But that's the thing. It's like, is it a loophole
- 37:05Speaker 11: that you can't hand them cash?
- 37:07Speaker 3: I think people just think like, oh, I paid thousands
- 37:09Speaker 3: of dollars for a seat, and then so they feel
- 37:12Speaker 3: that they don't have to tip.
- 37:13Speaker 11: Yeah, okay, Then is.
- 37:15Speaker 4: It technically illegal to give your mailman a Christmas gift
- 37:18Speaker 4: of cash?
- 37:19Speaker 11: Well, that's the thing. I think it might be. Probably,
- 37:21Speaker 11: I think you'll have to give a gift but not cash. Yeah.
- 37:23Speaker 12: I think it's the same thing as it has to
- 37:25Speaker 12: be a gift card.
- 37:26Speaker 11: And it gets why Lisa.
- 37:27Speaker 3: Yeahs I worked for the TSA. We're not allowed to
- 37:29Speaker 3: take it. You have to give it to one of
- 37:31Speaker 3: the higher up. They're taking it.
- 37:34Speaker 16: Oh yeah.
- 37:36Speaker 11: Well finally, this rare baseball card of Aaron Judge has
- 37:39Speaker 11: sold for a record amount of money, the most ever
- 37:42Speaker 11: paid for a modern day baseball card. The card was
- 37:45Speaker 11: a one of one. It sold for five point two
- 37:48Speaker 11: million dollars at auction that beat out the previous record
- 37:51Speaker 11: by over a million dollars.
- 37:53Speaker 3: Is that like the Paul schemes?
- 37:54Speaker 11: Yeah exactly, but how they how they arrived at this
- 37:57Speaker 11: card is even crazier. So the owner of this card
- 38:00Speaker 11: to card show in Dallas asked the vendor if you
- 38:02Speaker 11: could take a you know, can you look at my collection?
- 38:04Speaker 11: See what I got here? And when the vendor saw
- 38:06Speaker 11: the card, he couldn't believe that there was a sticker
- 38:08Speaker 11: on it for like five thousand dollars because that's what
- 38:11Speaker 11: it was worth thirteen years ago. And the owner of
- 38:13Speaker 11: the card had no idea. He just kept the whole
- 38:15Speaker 11: thing in a box for like literally thirteen years. The vendor,
- 38:18Speaker 11: God bless this guy who didn't take advantage and say, like,
- 38:20Speaker 11: I'll give you five thousand. He said, take this to
- 38:23Speaker 11: an auction house immediately, and so big ups to that vendor,
- 38:27Speaker 11: and that's how it got sold for over five million.
- 38:29Speaker 3: He get a tip he should have got, give a
- 38:31Speaker 3: guy like a little.
- 38:32Speaker 11: Tip speaking that guy could have been done so dirty,
- 38:36Speaker 11: like I'll give you ten thousand for it. You're really
- 38:39Speaker 11: getting you know, I don't want to part with this money.
- 38:41Speaker 3: But it's different now, just the way that people, you know,
- 38:44Speaker 3: look and treat cards and yeah, those kind of collectible things.
- 38:47Speaker 3: But you know when we were kids, like, man, who
- 38:49Speaker 3: knows what we had?
- 38:51Speaker 11: We had so many Oh yeah, you just wanted the
- 38:54Speaker 11: stale gum inside anyway, right, And we were.
- 38:56Speaker 3: Doing the games where like, you know, I'd have a
- 38:58Speaker 3: stack of my baseball cards, my buddy would have a
- 39:00Speaker 3: stack of his. Now this is what you did before
- 39:02Speaker 3: the internet children, Okay, So like we would like, uh,
- 39:05Speaker 3: you know, be kind of facing a wall a little
- 39:07Speaker 3: bit more than the arms, and then we flip the
- 39:08Speaker 3: cards toward the toward the wall and try to get
- 39:11Speaker 3: them to balance, you know, and whichever one would bound,
- 39:14Speaker 3: and then you get to collect, like you so I
- 39:16Speaker 3: would get to collect if I got my card to balance,
- 39:18Speaker 3: I got to collect what was ever just like flat
- 39:21Speaker 3: on the ground.
- 39:21Speaker 11: I had nothing to.
- 39:22Speaker 3: Do with the card itself, like you were trying to
- 39:25Speaker 3: get all your other friends cards, right, It was just
- 39:27Speaker 3: it was it was it was a game that you're
- 39:28Speaker 3: playing like gambling almost, right. So you flip it and
- 39:31Speaker 3: try to get it to lean up against you know,
- 39:33Speaker 3: the wall, and then all the ones that were flat
- 39:35Speaker 3: on the ground, if you got to lean you got
- 39:37Speaker 3: to collect all the other one. It's like a like A, Yeah,
- 39:41Speaker 3: it was pos this.
- 39:43Speaker 11: I haven't looked it up. I don't know what they
- 39:45Speaker 11: would go for. But I was cleaning up my dad's
- 39:47Speaker 11: house for the last time and I'm just going through.
- 39:49Speaker 11: He had such random stuff and he he went to
- 39:51Speaker 11: the Nagano Olympics to report, which was really cool. And
- 39:54Speaker 11: he went to a couple of Olympus Olympics and I
- 39:57Speaker 11: found this package in mint condition of nineteen ninety two
- 40:01Speaker 11: Olympics collector's cards. I didn't open it or anything, so
- 40:05Speaker 11: I just held on to it. I don't know if
- 40:06Speaker 11: it's worth anything.
- 40:07Speaker 2: Yeah, don't open it.
- 40:08Speaker 11: That's kind of cool. So I'm gonna see another random
- 40:11Speaker 11: crap yet.
- 40:12Speaker 3: So here's a text and then we'll then we'll take
- 40:15Speaker 3: the break over to two two nine eighty seven to
- 40:19Speaker 3: two eight. I just saw this textas as you guys
- 40:22Speaker 3: are a bunch of dicks, for sure, so I'm curious. Now,
- 40:26Speaker 3: all right, that's all it said, you guys are a
- 40:29Speaker 3: bunch of dicks. I clicked on it, and uh, it
- 40:32Speaker 3: says those fing TSA workers will get a paycheck at
- 40:35Speaker 3: the end of this fing government bs, so they're not
- 40:38Speaker 3: missing out on anything. There's too many of them anyway,
- 40:41Speaker 3: standing around Jack John effing jerking off in ish f them.
- 40:47Speaker 3: Oh okay, wow, somebody got told to their they're going
- 40:51Speaker 3: to get a paycheck eventually and god knows when. But
- 40:53Speaker 3: in the meantime, their landlord is watching.
- 40:55Speaker 11: Stuff right exactly.
- 40:57Speaker 2: They need to eat.
- 40:58Speaker 3: You gotta eat today. Yeah, and they're still showing up,
- 41:01Speaker 3: which is great because people got place to be. If
- 41:04Speaker 3: you want to get on your flight, you want to
- 41:05Speaker 3: go on your vacation. But they're still showing up. Would
- 41:09Speaker 3: you show up? Here's the thing. I wouldn't.
- 41:12Speaker 11: Yeah, I would.
- 41:12Speaker 4: I would not be that big of a person. And
- 41:15Speaker 4: we did, though we had to take a week without
- 41:17Speaker 4: pay during the pandemic.
- 41:18Speaker 3: Yeah, but I didn't. I didn't come in for that.
- 41:20Speaker 4: Yeah, we did.
- 41:21Speaker 3: I didn't.
- 41:22Speaker 4: I could have sworn you were here.
- 41:24Speaker 3: No, I said, well, you could do that on a
- 41:27Speaker 3: on a week where I'm already taking vacation, Like, don't
- 41:29Speaker 3: give me you could you could in other words here, No,
- 41:33Speaker 3: you might have done it in a different week, because I
- 41:35Speaker 3: think we had to. I think like you had one
- 41:37Speaker 3: week or then somebody I remember being like a rotation thing.
- 41:41Speaker 3: I said, all right, well, here's the thing I can't
- 41:42Speaker 3: in my own mind come in knowing I'm not going
- 41:45Speaker 3: to be getting a paycheck. Right, So on a week
- 41:48Speaker 3: that we was, like for spring break for example, like
- 41:51Speaker 3: we're all we're going to take a spring break week off.
- 41:53Speaker 11: Just don't pay me for that.
- 41:54Speaker 3: I guess, yeah, I don't pay me for that week.
- 41:55Speaker 3: But I can't wake up in the morning and come
- 41:57Speaker 3: in knowing that there's not going to be a check.
- 41:59Speaker 3: Like if I didn't come in, I can I feel
- 42:01Speaker 3: like I can justify that and live with it.
- 42:03Speaker 11: Yeah, But like if you're if you're the main breadwinner
- 42:06Speaker 11: of the family and you got kids, yeah, sorry, I
- 42:08Speaker 11: have to go work somewhere two.
- 42:09Speaker 3: Weeks your text or not. Everybody has a huge amount
- 42:12Speaker 3: of extra money in their bank account.
- 42:14Speaker 4: That they can live on. Yeah a couple of years.
- 42:16Speaker 3: And there was another time, this is years ago, where
- 42:19Speaker 3: the company I was working for, they were asking everybody
- 42:21Speaker 3: to take a ten percent pay cut, right because times
- 42:24Speaker 3: are tough, Times are tough, ten percent pay cut and
- 42:26Speaker 3: blah blah blah blah blah, And I go, well, why
- 42:28Speaker 3: are we doing this, Like, well, otherwise we're gonna have
- 42:30Speaker 3: to let some people go. I go, I can give
- 42:32Speaker 3: you twelve names right now, people who are not doing
- 42:35Speaker 3: anything around threat and that don't pay and who don't
- 42:39Speaker 3: pull their own weight, you know, Like I just know,
- 42:41Speaker 3: like how I was working and what my ratings were
- 42:43Speaker 3: and what revenue was. A tough was attached to that.
- 42:46Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm not taking that. Well everybody, well, everybody
- 42:49Speaker 3: else can do that, but I'm not doing it because
- 42:50Speaker 3: here's the thing, and I brought this up before. When
- 42:52Speaker 3: your company asked you to do something like that, let's say,
- 42:55Speaker 3: for the sake of argument, you get in a pinch
- 42:58Speaker 3: at some point things are really something happen water heater broke,
- 43:02Speaker 3: medical situation, and you go, hey, things are really tight
- 43:05Speaker 3: right now. I'm gonna need an extra ten percent pay
- 43:09Speaker 3: pay increase for the next six months to help me
- 43:13Speaker 3: out because I just had this water heater. You think
- 43:15Speaker 3: they're gonna do that for you, Absolutely not, and they'll go, oh.
- 43:17Speaker 11: In advance, No, no, no, no, no, just give me
- 43:20Speaker 11: the increase.
- 43:21Speaker 3: Never, They're never gonna do that. So that's why I've
- 43:24Speaker 3: never done because I don't believe in that whole Oh
- 43:26Speaker 3: we're family, it's not family, it's a business. They will
- 43:29Speaker 3: cut you in two seconds. So no, and as long.
- 43:32Speaker 3: But here's here's the trick. Guys. You got to make
- 43:35Speaker 3: sure that you are what you think you are when
- 43:39Speaker 3: it comes to the value to the company that you
- 43:42Speaker 3: work for. Yeah, if you're already somebody who's skating by
- 43:44Speaker 3: and you're doing that time card watching where it's like
- 43:48Speaker 3: your clock watching every day that you know, Friday you
- 43:52Speaker 3: leave and I'm not available until Monday. I'm not answering
- 43:55Speaker 3: an email, I'm not picking up a phone call. If
- 43:56Speaker 3: you're one of those people, then maybe you go with
- 43:58Speaker 3: whatever they say because as they will cut you.
- 44:01Speaker 11: But if you are bringing a lot of value, bringing a.
- 44:04Speaker 3: Lot of value, then you tell them to get bent.
- 44:07Speaker 3: And you're not sure, you're not showing up without getting
- 44:09Speaker 3: the paycheck, and no, you're not taking the tempers because
- 44:11Speaker 3: they would not do the same thing for you ever, ever, never, never, ever,
- 44:15Speaker 3: never never never so odd family exactly. In one of
- 44:23Speaker 3: those news stories, Jenna said split and a.
- 44:30Speaker 4: Yes s slit slot. I guess that the same.
- 44:38Speaker 3: The gash fun fact around eighty percent of men have
- 44:42Speaker 3: a nickname for their penis what. That can't be true?
- 44:47Speaker 3: Seems really high. I don't.
- 44:49Speaker 4: I don't either.
- 44:50Speaker 11: Mean instead of just like schlong. They mean, like, how's
- 44:54Speaker 11: your's David?
- 44:58Speaker 9: I think it's when you ask the guys, he's gonn
- 45:00Speaker 9: I make that up on the spot. He's gonna say, yeah, yeah.
- 45:04Speaker 11: None of you have ever nicknamed your peni?
- 45:06Speaker 3: No, no, no, why I know. I know women will
- 45:13Speaker 3: like call their boobs something like the girls. Oh right, right,
- 45:17Speaker 3: that's the girls. I don't don't do something do that.
- 45:20Speaker 4: It seems like something a wife would do for the husband, like, yeah,
- 45:23Speaker 4: create the nickname.
- 45:24Speaker 11: Oh, mister peppy.
- 45:28Speaker 3: Gross, Yeah no, that's that's that's dumb. So around eighty
- 45:33Speaker 3: percent of men, according to this, have a nickname for
- 45:36Speaker 3: their penis, but only ten percent have heard of penile cancer.
- 45:41Speaker 3: Oh and so they've created this campaign to you know,
- 45:44Speaker 3: bring awareness to penile cancer. So they've got they you know,
- 45:48Speaker 3: when they did talk to the people who did have
- 45:49Speaker 3: a nickname for their thing, they took those nicknames and
- 45:53Speaker 3: they had them presented by Sir Stephen Fry. And I'm
- 45:57Speaker 3: not sure who Sir Stephen fryes, but he's got this
- 45:59Speaker 3: cool sounding like voice.
- 46:01Speaker 11: Big comedian Ryan Laurie.
- 46:03Speaker 3: Right, who is Stephen Fry is.
- 46:05Speaker 11: A British comedian, O Wow, an actor he's spent.
- 46:08Speaker 3: On a thousand things.
- 46:09Speaker 11: You'll know it if you saw you know exactly right.
- 46:11Speaker 3: I just heard the clip of his voice reading all
- 46:13Speaker 3: the different nicknames for it. Dude's wieners. I thought I
- 46:16Speaker 3: had a pretty cool sounding voice, but I have not
- 46:18Speaker 3: heard of him before, Sir Stephen Fry, These are the
- 46:20Speaker 3: nicknames that from the people they talked about.
- 46:22Speaker 19: Here we go and Tiny Tim, Willie Wonker, the leaning
- 46:25Speaker 19: Tower of Peter, John Thomas, my old fellow, the Beast.
- 46:30Speaker 19: The list goes on because eighty percent of men have
- 46:33Speaker 19: nicknames for their penis, but only ten percent I've ever
- 46:37Speaker 19: heard of penile cancer and its symptoms. That's right. I'm
- 46:42Speaker 19: delighted to support the Eurology Foundations Name It campaign to
- 46:47Speaker 19: get men talking about their penile heals and recognizing that
- 46:50Speaker 19: penile cancer exists.
- 46:53Speaker 3: Wow, wow effect.
- 46:55Speaker 11: That is delighted.
- 46:56Speaker 4: John. What is the BRIT's obsession with John Thoms? Yesus,
- 47:01Speaker 4: I mean I've heard it at trillion times.
- 47:02Speaker 3: Never understood a symptoms of penile cancer A painless lump,
- 47:08Speaker 3: ulcer or sore on the penis, particularly under the foreskin,
- 47:12Speaker 3: which may bleed or produce foul smelling discharge. Other common
- 47:19Speaker 3: signs include skin color changes, thickening, thickening okay, okay, a
- 47:25Speaker 3: red rash or small crusty bumps. Okay.
- 47:28Speaker 9: Early evaluation is crucial. This is that asks the question.
- 47:33Speaker 9: You show up with that because you think it's going
- 47:35Speaker 9: to be something else, obviously, and they say, get good news, Greg,
- 47:39Speaker 9: you don't have herpes, Thank god.
- 47:41Speaker 3: Guess what penile cancer coming at you? I kind of
- 47:46Speaker 3: which would you rather have? Advanced systems symptoms lumps in
- 47:50Speaker 3: the groin area, persistent pain in the penis, fatigue, weight loss,
- 47:56Speaker 3: or abdominable abdominal pain in advanced ages?
- 48:00Speaker 11: Yeah, more than the answers herpes?
- 48:02Speaker 2: Well, if you can cure cancer, you can't cure herpes.
- 48:05Speaker 11: Right, doesn't kill you?
- 48:07Speaker 1: Right?
- 48:08Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a bigger stigma though, Yeah, for sure. Absolutely.
- 48:12Speaker 3: You tell a girl, I've got uh treatments. Primary treatment
- 48:21Speaker 3: of surgery, including circumcision for foreskin, foreskin lesions, don't have foreskin,
- 48:27Speaker 3: removing the glands or partial pannectomy.
- 48:31Speaker 11: Oh that's the one.
- 48:33Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 48:35Speaker 3: Yeah, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and then laser therapy.
- 48:43Speaker 2: Laser it up.
- 48:45Speaker 3: Yeah. Now here. The thing the early stage that is
- 48:47Speaker 3: the you know where they you know, just maybe take
- 48:50Speaker 3: like a lumper, but circumcision or laser therapies in the
- 48:53Speaker 3: early stage. So that's yeah, why would you And I
- 48:57Speaker 3: think about that when we watch like a doctor pimple
- 48:59Speaker 3: Popper menu watching Wait and you see these persons with
- 49:02Speaker 3: the huge like massive, like volleyball sized thing coming off
- 49:06Speaker 3: their neck.
- 49:07Speaker 10: And like.
- 49:09Speaker 3: That grow like stab it already. Yeah, if you if
- 49:14Speaker 3: you notice something you know on your on your Johnson,
- 49:16Speaker 3: ye don't you like? I mean, I guess embarrassing, embarrassing still,
- 49:21Speaker 3: but that would be the reason I personally, I wouldn't care.
- 49:24Speaker 3: I'd want to get a check downton. But I can
- 49:26Speaker 3: understand where people would be more embarrassed, not you know,
- 49:30Speaker 3: want to like, oh that's embarrassing. I don't want to
- 49:32Speaker 3: go in there and go look at my penis. But
- 49:33Speaker 3: they're going to anyway, right Greg, Yeah, of course if
- 49:35Speaker 3: you go in there.
- 49:38Speaker 9: But I saw walking around on his eyelid he had
- 49:42Speaker 9: what was like a skin tag or something, and I thought,
- 49:44Speaker 9: how does that like the tomorrow I'm going to the gyetologist.
- 49:49Speaker 9: Care if I got the money or not, I'll figure
- 49:50Speaker 9: it out.
- 49:50Speaker 3: I feel the same way when I see cars that
- 49:52Speaker 3: have dents in them, Like why are you very very
- 49:58Speaker 3: big on.
- 49:58Speaker 4: The the hubcap thing that you bother?
- 50:02Speaker 3: Like that would just bother it from an OCD standpoint,
- 50:05Speaker 3: But like like does it bother me, you know from
- 50:07Speaker 3: any other No, But like the same with the you
- 50:10Speaker 3: got a dent in your car, I understand, Okay, that's
- 50:12Speaker 3: not a priority. I need to eat and keep the
- 50:14Speaker 3: lights on it, so I will drive around if I
- 50:16Speaker 3: have a dent in the car. But you're right, if
- 50:19Speaker 3: there's like some kind of thing you know, on your
- 50:21Speaker 3: fate and if I can't afford it or what different stories.
- 50:24Speaker 3: But even though I don't buy that I can't afford it, crap,
- 50:26Speaker 3: Like no, I'm taking it. Make it happen.
- 50:28Speaker 4: I mean, if insurance, especially skin tag in your eyelid,
- 50:32Speaker 4: it might be affecting your vision.
- 50:33Speaker 3: Yeah, maybe I would get it checked out. But I'm
- 50:35Speaker 3: saying if they said, all right, well we can do it,
- 50:37Speaker 3: but it's not going to be covered. But that may
- 50:39Speaker 3: be something that I then wait on because like, all right,
- 50:41Speaker 3: if I'm paycheck to paycheck and it's again, I can
- 50:44Speaker 3: go buy groceries or I can get this, you know,
- 50:46Speaker 3: skin tag taken up.
- 50:48Speaker 11: I don't believe we have that many tiny timbs out
- 50:49Speaker 11: there saying.
- 50:50Speaker 8: There's also a demographic of people who pride themselves on
- 50:53Speaker 8: not going to the doctor. Oh yeah, they think they're
- 50:56Speaker 8: tough and cool and I don't go to.
- 50:57Speaker 3: Doctors, or they have other reasons that they just don't
- 51:00Speaker 3: trust doctors, and so then then they just don't go.
- 51:02Speaker 3: There was something that happened, there was some kind of
- 51:04Speaker 3: you know thing, a family member got misdiagnosed or got
- 51:08Speaker 3: something whatever, and then they just don't trust, so they
- 51:10Speaker 3: don't go. But they are putting themselves in a really
- 51:12Speaker 3: bad situation.
- 51:14Speaker 9: To me, this sounds like what I hear doing cart narks.
- 51:16Speaker 9: There's a bunch of excuses that don't apply. Is I
- 51:18Speaker 9: think the average person.
- 51:19Speaker 10: Is just lazy?
- 51:21Speaker 11: Yeah, I think that's going to be not out of
- 51:23Speaker 11: ten case.
- 51:23Speaker 3: But when you have again something the size of a
- 51:25Speaker 3: volleyball on the side of the priory, I became the
- 51:29Speaker 3: size of a grape and now you're a doctor pimple
- 51:32Speaker 3: popper and you had to bring it to help you
- 51:35Speaker 3: carry it from the car show. And I walked in
- 51:43Speaker 3: to the office this morning and sitting there at my
- 51:45Speaker 3: desk was this lego set on my desk. It's a
- 51:53Speaker 3: oh I think it's the Back to the Future dolor
- 51:56Speaker 3: Oh awesome, only only three D and fifty seven pieces.
- 52:00Speaker 3: That's superb it is. And I'm like what And I
- 52:05Speaker 3: said to Tyler, who said, I said, hey.
- 52:07Speaker 4: Where did this come from?
- 52:08Speaker 3: Where's that coming? He's like I don't know. I'm like, okay, cool.
- 52:13Speaker 3: So I sat it there. I figured like, oh, I'll
- 52:15Speaker 3: eventually figure it out. Well, long story short, Menace saw it,
- 52:22Speaker 3: bought it, and left it for me, and I'm like,
- 52:25Speaker 3: what do you would like this, babe? That's not because
- 52:28Speaker 3: man is always looking for legos and he saw this
- 52:31Speaker 3: and thought, you know what, there's a guy I know
- 52:32Speaker 3: that would love this DeLorean lego set.
- 52:35Speaker 11: Are you going to put it together?
- 52:36Speaker 15: So?
- 52:36Speaker 4: Thank you?
- 52:37Speaker 3: Thank you? Yes, I will.
- 52:38Speaker 11: Nice.
- 52:38Speaker 3: So this this is sitting there and then Tyler goes, oh,
- 52:41Speaker 3: hold on, there was a do you get your piece
- 52:42Speaker 3: of mail? There was an Amazon package there, so I
- 52:44Speaker 3: picked that up. I opened up the Amazon package. What's
- 52:47Speaker 3: inside of it?
- 52:49Speaker 4: Tell us.
- 52:52Speaker 3: Back to the Future Dolorean? I go. Now, at this point,
- 52:58Speaker 3: I didn't know that Menace had bought this other one.
- 53:00Speaker 3: This was just sitting on the desk open like you know,
- 53:02Speaker 3: like yeah, like that. And then there was this Amazon
- 53:05Speaker 3: package sitting there addressed to me, and I opened it
- 53:09Speaker 3: and it's another one.
- 53:12Speaker 1: Obsessed.
- 53:13Speaker 3: I'm like, so yeah. So now there's two the exact.
- 53:17Speaker 11: Same thing, but one is still a mystery.
- 53:19Speaker 3: The Amazon one. There was a note inside and it
- 53:22Speaker 3: said a gift for you, just something fun for the desk.
- 53:25Speaker 3: Maybe Menace will build it for you. Love the show
- 53:28Speaker 3: and it's from Kaylan. Our listener Kaylen saw this thought
- 53:34Speaker 3: of me and and sent this is so crazy on
- 53:38Speaker 3: the same day. It's not even like it's not even
- 53:41Speaker 3: like this arrived. And then Menace, you know, you know,
- 53:45Speaker 3: a couple of days later, saw this, not realizing that
- 53:47Speaker 3: I already had.
- 53:48Speaker 11: You know, that's bizarre, isn't that weird?
- 53:50Speaker 9: Yes?
- 53:51Speaker 11: Yeah, you have one for home and one for office.
- 53:53Speaker 3: Yeah, well no, I told medicine. I said here, you know, like,
- 53:56Speaker 3: we'll not gonna I don't. I don't wouldn't even know
- 53:58Speaker 3: how to send it back to By the way, he
- 54:00Speaker 3: very nice. Thank you so much. You don't have to think.
- 54:02Speaker 3: I just thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed the show.
- 54:05Speaker 3: That's so sweet. Yeah, I thought it was really nice.
- 54:07Speaker 11: Wow, that's so.
- 54:11Speaker 3: Yes, it all started because Menji got me some layout legos. Yeah,
- 54:18Speaker 3: and it's for a different F one set, and I'm like,
- 54:21Speaker 3: thanks Menji. Now I have to get the whole set.
- 54:25Speaker 3: So I went to go buy the to go look
- 54:28Speaker 3: for the other part of the set, and then I
- 54:30Speaker 3: saw that one chain reaction where Morgan is. I know,
- 54:36Speaker 3: thanks dude, Morgan, come on in. I'm not sure we're
- 54:38Speaker 3: more than with other ships. Yeah, I want you to
- 54:41Speaker 3: be here for this because you're gonna you're gonna love this,
- 54:44Speaker 3: all right. Uh So I'm like that's cool and then yeah,
- 54:47Speaker 3: I was like, yeah, it's actually really cool, right, and
- 54:55Speaker 3: then he goes he he breaks out his computer and
- 54:58Speaker 3: he shows me the lego said that he is gonna
- 55:00Speaker 3: build and I said, you got to put that in
- 55:01Speaker 3: a really prominent spot of the because you know, Morgan,
- 55:06Speaker 3: Morgan and uh and and Dombs Tyler their roommates now.
- 55:11Speaker 3: And so he said, he's gonna where'd you say you
- 55:12Speaker 3: were gonna put it? I might put in the living room.
- 55:16Speaker 3: You know what it is.
- 55:17Speaker 2: Yeah, you have your own room and your own you.
- 55:23Speaker 3: Haven't heard what if it's a UFC octagon leg said,
- 55:28Speaker 3: it's not it's like, I think legos just look gross.
- 55:30Speaker 2: Anyways, if it's five years.
- 55:32Speaker 3: Old, what if it's something you think is cool.
- 55:35Speaker 11: What if it's something what could that possibly be?
- 55:37Speaker 2: No offense, But anything that's lego I don't think is cool. Yeah,
- 55:41Speaker 2: I mean, what is it?
- 55:42Speaker 3: Okay, Well, let's say there was a Lego UFC thing.
- 55:44Speaker 3: You would probably think that's cool.
- 55:45Speaker 2: I'd keep it in the closet. I wouldn't set it out.
- 55:48Speaker 3: Okay. Well, coming soon to an apartment near you is
- 55:53Speaker 3: a Lego jaws. You remember Quint's boat.
- 55:58Speaker 2: That's one of the first things you put in house
- 56:00Speaker 2: when we.
- 56:00Speaker 3: Moved in the boat. And it's got like a Lego
- 56:04Speaker 3: shark that comes off the back of the boat. Yeah,
- 56:08Speaker 3: and pretty cool.
- 56:10Speaker 6: What did you say?
- 56:11Speaker 20: Your brother is getting it her? No, my brother got
- 56:13Speaker 20: it from me for Christmas. I just haven't had time
- 56:15Speaker 20: to build it yet.
- 56:16Speaker 3: So he's gonna build it and it's gonna be like this,
- 56:19Speaker 3: it's gonna.
- 56:19Speaker 2: Be a conversation, the conversation piece for who.
- 56:24Speaker 11: Well, for for everybody.
- 56:27Speaker 3: When you guys have company and dinner.
- 56:29Speaker 2: We don't have company dinner part we have company now
- 56:31Speaker 2: because my mom's here and you're creeping my mom out?
- 56:34Speaker 3: Whoa Jesus, WHOA what's going on there? Yeah? Well that
- 56:38Speaker 3: that sounds like a story we don't have time for, right, I.
- 56:42Speaker 11: Can't wait to hear that.
- 56:44Speaker 2: No, just know that.
- 56:47Speaker 18: Next hanger, No Woody show text in nine eight seven,
- 56:58Speaker 18: that's Greg Gore, Hi man, what's she Nongrad?
- 57:01Speaker 3: We got Sea Mass, we got Sammy Morgan is here
- 57:06Speaker 3: and any other room. We got Vaughn dumbass Tyler, we
- 57:10Speaker 3: got bored, we got Menji. I do want to I
- 57:14Speaker 3: do want to find out. Well, so, yeah, what's what's
- 57:18Speaker 3: what's the deal. I don't want you to go like
- 57:21Speaker 3: postal when it comes to Tyler. In the roommate situation,
- 57:25Speaker 3: there was that. Yeah, there was a story. This forty
- 57:27Speaker 3: eight woman in Florida. She found out that she was
- 57:29Speaker 3: being evicted by her elderly roommate. She'd only been living
- 57:33Speaker 3: there for a week. And the roommate came home that
- 57:36Speaker 3: night and they got in some kind of argument, and
- 57:38Speaker 3: she slashed him during the argument, and then once she
- 57:41Speaker 3: realized that she injured him quote beyond help, she threw
- 57:45Speaker 3: his body underneath the tarp and then just left him
- 57:47Speaker 3: there to die and took off oh my way to
- 57:49Speaker 3: handle it. Yeah, so the the cops, they tracked her down.
- 57:51Speaker 3: She confessed to killing the guy and the neighbors meanwhile,
- 57:56Speaker 3: they're shocked. They said that the guy shared the home
- 57:59Speaker 3: with his wife until a few years ago when she
- 58:01Speaker 3: passed away. He allowed the woman to stay there, you know,
- 58:05Speaker 3: thinking that, hey, this could help, you know, he can
- 58:06Speaker 3: help around the house. As dumb ass Tyler is doing.
- 58:08Speaker 3: I guess he's like kind of like the handyman. You
- 58:12Speaker 3: were saying that all the neighbors are asking him to
- 58:14Speaker 3: help with stuff, and they did once. Okay, but yeah,
- 58:17Speaker 3: things just didn't pan out in this situation. But now
- 58:19Speaker 3: the woman's being charged with murder and grand theft. Aught
- 58:21Speaker 3: it because she took off in his truck. Problem and
- 58:25Speaker 3: they were never going to find him under that tarp.
- 58:29Speaker 2: The truck.
- 58:31Speaker 3: This is This is the monk shot of a woman
- 58:32Speaker 3: who had it there. It is.
- 58:36Speaker 11: Reached the bottom.
- 58:38Speaker 3: Oh yeah, we never heard. So what what was the deal? Why?
- 58:43Speaker 3: Why is your mom creeped out? Your mom's here visiting?
- 58:46Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 58:47Speaker 3: Why she creeped out by Tyler? What do you do?
- 58:50Speaker 8: Uh?
- 58:51Speaker 2: Tyler has a problem with taking no for an answer,
- 58:54Speaker 2: and he just keeps offering her to sleep in his room.
- 58:57Speaker 3: What okay?
- 58:59Speaker 20: She sleeping on the couch. So I just thought, like,
- 59:03Speaker 20: it's fine because it's an actual bed, right.
- 59:05Speaker 2: But you know, she has my bed if she wanted to, Like,
- 59:07Speaker 2: she's choosing to sleep on the couch. I offered to
- 59:09Speaker 2: give her my bed.
- 59:11Speaker 21: So it's I don't know, said, I just offered, just
- 59:14Speaker 21: offered a lot of twice.
- 59:17Speaker 4: What else? Okay, I got I gotta be team Tyler here.
- 59:21Speaker 4: That's a friendly gesture. How is that quote creepy?
- 59:25Speaker 3: Was it like to share the bed with him?
- 59:28Speaker 2: How many times did she say no to him?
- 59:30Speaker 3: Morgan?
- 59:31Speaker 2: Twice when I was there, But when he asked when
- 59:32Speaker 2: I was there, it sounded like you had already asked her,
- 59:35Speaker 2: because you were like, oh, well, if you changed your mind,
- 59:36Speaker 2: let me know.
- 59:37Speaker 11: Oh well that.
- 59:39Speaker 4: That sounds like a nice thing to offer.
- 59:43Speaker 3: Did you say you can come cuddle with me? How
- 59:47Speaker 3: did you say it?
- 59:48Speaker 20: Said, hey, if you want to use my bed, like,
- 59:50Speaker 20: I have no fine sleeping on the couch for the
- 59:51Speaker 20: next couple days.
- 59:52Speaker 3: Oh so, okay, I'll sleep on the couch. And I
- 59:55Speaker 3: told her.
- 59:55Speaker 2: The same thing too, but she chose to sleep on
- 59:57Speaker 2: the couch.
- 59:58Speaker 4: So because he offered more than once, it got creepy.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: I just I don't know. I think if she's going
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: to sleep when someone's better, it would be mine.
- 1:00:05Speaker 11: Yeah, and it's very nice gesture. But once it's like, oh, no,
- 1:00:08Speaker 11: I'm good, then like we're done with that.
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, all right?
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: Just me apparently I think, well, no, no, but.
- 1:00:14Speaker 11: I'm saying, like, if the offer keeps going, he's like no, no,
- 1:00:16Speaker 11: I said, no, I'm good, thank you.
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: Hey, though, these are good because this gives you a
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: chance to like kind of just you know, get it
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: off your chest. I think maybe you're so on edge
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: and so tightly wound about the situation in general, and
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: maybe sometimes you have a hard time with the perspective
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: of it. Like I think maybe, and you know, I'm
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: the last person's gonna take up for dumbs tyler, you
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: know what I'm saying. No, But like I think, like
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: he probably did mean well, it was well, it was
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: well intentioned.
- 1:00:41Speaker 4: I mean to me, it sounds like a nice offer.
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: It was well intentioned, all right, So what else is
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: going on? What else are you doing?
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: Nothing? I mean, yeah, okay, it's just you can ask him.
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: I didn't just just chilling just doing working. Yeah, and
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: how's it go for you, Tyler?
- 1:00:57Speaker 20: It's been good, Yeah, you know, getting stuff around, getting
- 1:01:00Speaker 20: stuff done. It's been really nice, being a lot closer
- 1:01:03Speaker 20: to work than I used to be.
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: Yeah, so yeah, it's it's it's going pretty well. But like,
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: how's how's the coexisting with Morgan? It's going as well
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: as I thought it could. Yeah, what does that mean?
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: Are you? Do you feel like you're walking on eggshells
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: not to upset Morgan? No, No, I think first though.
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: Like you, like, I don't know, you look scared of me.
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: I there's something to be like, Am I actually scary?
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: Like front? But I don't just punch random people like
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: no getting paid to this big bitch and like it's
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: like I just like to be left alone.
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: No, nobody, nobody's painting you out like that, nobody's painting
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: you out. I think the offering the bed to your
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: mom thing, I think maybe that's just more of a misunderstanding,
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: like you, like, like you misread. I think I think
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: he was just being being polite, polite, you know, like I, yeah,
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: he's trying to like, oh, you know it's her mom
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: who's in town. Did you know that? Morgan? Had offered
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: her her room, her bed, not when not when I
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: first saw her. Now, okay, all right, maybe he didn't.
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: You know, heystead of sleeping on a couch, if you
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: need the bed, you can sleep there. So that's just
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: a misunderstanding.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that's yeah. I mean.
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: You're not gonna cry, are you.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: I'm not gonna cry. It's just like this is the show, right,
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: but this is my real life.
- 1:02:28Speaker 10: So just.
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: Like we joke about it here and then I go
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: and I'm like, this is my reality.
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: But I guess that's really just don't understand like what
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: like we're trying to figure out like what sucks. So
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: maybe we can make Yeah, we can help it. We're
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: make a suggestion to like make things better. I think
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: the main thing that you said that that I've heard
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: from you know, listen you talk about the situation is
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: that you like your alone time. You don't really like
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: to like communicate a lot, because you want to rest
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: and relax when you're at the house. And Tyler just
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: like talks to much wants to commune.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: Well not now, like we don't talk anymore else.
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: So that's fine, that's better. Okay, So that's that part's
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: gotten better.
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: So that okay for me, I don't know about him,
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: but for me, yes, Like I talk a lot here,
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: so when I go home, I just want to I
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: get that. Okay, very introverted, right.
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: She gave me the heads up before I moved in.
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: She's like, hey, I like my lune time. So I
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: was like, okay, great, alkay, that's fine. Fix that.
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: Now when you are home, are you getting some alone
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: time or is it.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: I just go straight to my room. That's the part
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: I'm trying to get used to is like I'm not
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: like in the living area anymore.
- 1:03:29Speaker 11: In your whole space, Like I just go to my room.
- 1:03:32Speaker 11: But I get that it was never personal. Like when
- 1:03:34Speaker 11: I had a roommate and I'd get home and their
- 1:03:36Speaker 11: car was already there.
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: I'd like, yeah, which I've had before. I'm used to it.
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: But I just I don't know. We just always had
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: different schedules or didn't work together. So well, this is
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: a lot, yeah, yeah, a.
- 1:03:47Speaker 4: Lot of togetherness.
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: Any other any other issues that we need to beat
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: out of him or somebody that can make it that
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: can they can make it better, because like you're saving money.
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: Number one, that's that's good. Number two, if he needed
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: to in the pinch. I know we talked about before,
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: like with the dog, like if somebody just needs to
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: be there, let the dog out or something like he's there.
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: You got somebody kind of built in. That's nice.
- 1:04:10Speaker 8: Yeah, you know, yeah, but I get that, like not
- 1:04:13Speaker 8: being able to go to your main living space has
- 1:04:15Speaker 8: got to be annoying.
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: I can, yeah, can, but.
- 1:04:19Speaker 8: Maybe you guys should figure out some sort of schedule
- 1:04:21Speaker 8: or something like that's too.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: Much then yeah, that again, then I'm controlling, like it's
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: all just there.
- 1:04:26Speaker 11: If you each have a room and then one person's
- 1:04:29Speaker 11: constantly in the common area, like Sammy saying, like, then
- 1:04:31Speaker 11: you don't ever get.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: Well, no one's in the common here. I just feel
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: like I don't know, Okay, I don't know. I just
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: feel like I need to like I feel like I'm
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: never alone anymore.
- 1:04:39Speaker 11: No, it's not boss.
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: Yeah, that's personally. I'm very introverted in that way.
- 1:04:44Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: Well, uh, note to self, don't offer up my bed
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: to Morgan's mom.
- 1:04:52Speaker 21: Not more than two times, all right, Okay, the difference
- 1:04:58Speaker 21: would be I'd be in the bed with her, So yeah,
- 1:05:03Speaker 21: you might be down for that.
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: He's saying that part. Yeah, that should be the second offer. Okay,
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: how about not alone to that one? Oh my god,
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: it's a text by the way. By the way. Uh
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: you know people people say that some of these legos
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: thats are pretty sweet.
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: Well put in the living room.
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: Yeah you're not in it. Yeah you want to see it.
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: Well you're not even in there.
- 1:05:33Speaker 11: Hard work.
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: I did hang and everything up.
- 1:05:34Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: I didn't spend any money on the art on the loan.
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: Yeah, maybe it'll set it off, you know. Yeah. Well,
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: to be fair perspective, right, Craig, sometimes you put something
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: just the right.
- 1:05:50Speaker 4: Spot, make it look like a daycare.
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: As a person that does like legos, I don't even
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: put them out of my house. I put them in
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: the closet.
- 1:05:58Speaker 11: Thank you.
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: You should get Greg should get one of those things
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: that you can see in waiting rooms for doctor's offices,
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: that the little kids can play with, like little wooden blocks,
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: and you get to like the metal I love that.
- 1:06:12Speaker 12: Yeah, yeah, like magazine exactly on the coffee table.
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: Yeah, you can put one of those in there.
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: We'll commit more.
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: What the show's next? Hang on the Woody show. We'll
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: be right right, Morgan.
- 1:06:31Speaker 18: On a scale one of ten, what would you give
- 1:06:32Speaker 18: The Woody Show.
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: I want to say six seven, but I'm sticking with six.
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: Now here's the thought, what if and would either one
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: of you be open to it? Do you think you'd
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: have better luck living with Sea Basso?
- 1:06:56Speaker 9: Like?
- 1:06:56Speaker 6: Would you ever?
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: Would you ever entertain the thought of having a roommate
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: like current day? I know you've had any real I
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: know you've had. Yeah, what I'm saying like, because you're
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: also a person who likes to.
- 1:07:06Speaker 9: Be left alone, it would have to be a big area,
- 1:07:08Speaker 9: like you have to be like a big house. Like
- 1:07:10Speaker 9: if I if I had let's say, some kind of
- 1:07:12Speaker 9: little mansion or whatever, a little match.
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: Like what if you have a like a you know,
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: decent sized two bedroom plague, I would I would live
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: with a romantic partner, but not I wouldn't have another
- 1:07:26Speaker 3: roommate now yeah, okay unless less. I'm just thinking like,
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: personality wise, you might be the kind of person that
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: you would.
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: Oh for sure, you just stay out right.
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: You wants to be completely left perfect kind of like yeah,
- 1:07:41Speaker 3: oh you know what. The one thing I didn't think
- 1:07:43Speaker 3: about the dog, because you know it ain't down with dogs.
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: I've lived with dogs.
- 1:07:47Speaker 11: Before, but everybody loves Jeffrey.
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: Yeah, come on.
- 1:07:50Speaker 9: Also, I think the the the solution here is menace.
- 1:07:54Speaker 9: And you know this would be huge for the socials
- 1:07:56Speaker 9: Big Brother style life in Morgan's place.
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: Everybody twitch.
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: It's gonna be so uninteresting.
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: But people watch this stuff all day.
- 1:08:07Speaker 9: You could live streaming on you know, Twitch or whatever,
- 1:08:09Speaker 9: and then you would have little check ins in her.
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: Room, like when you're fed up and before you go
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: choke the life out of him for whatever he's done.
- 1:08:17Speaker 3: Now you can go to the like the little Confession booth.
- 1:08:20Speaker 3: I know, guys killing me. You guys watching this stuff.
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: He's killing me today.
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: I'm not a violent person in real life. Like I
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: train and I like that as a hobby, but I
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: I'm not someone to go beat someone up. I think
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: you guys are misunderstanding, Like I will just shut down
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: and be quiet and go do my own thing.
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: Like he before you lose your cool or whatever.
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: I would never lose my like you just would, just
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: just your hearing exactly.
- 1:08:45Speaker 11: I'm the same way.
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: So there's no like, no needs to be scared of me,
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: but going to.
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: Be good to have that outlet, right, you have the
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: Little Confession Booth in your Big Brother house. Yeah, you
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: get too confessional.
- 1:08:56Speaker 11: Yeah, that was always the best part of all that.
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: And then all right, fine, that's we're gonna take it
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: to the court of public opinion, the confectionion booth, and
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: you give your thing and people can everybody will have
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: their notifications on exactly right.
- 1:09:11Speaker 9: You wouldn't be I wouldn't be up to you to
- 1:09:12Speaker 9: like find things to do. You would go into that
- 1:09:14Speaker 9: live room. You know, we said, maybe one or two
- 1:09:16Speaker 9: cameras in the living room, menace. And then people will
- 1:09:18Speaker 9: be asking you questions, they offer you money to do challenges.
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: Oh yeah, see, there we go.
- 1:09:24Speaker 4: We have the program it.
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: People will do it for you, right, and just something
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: to think about, you know, might might help I don't know.
- 1:09:29Speaker 12: Yeah, solve your problems.
- 1:09:30Speaker 8: That's what that'll do financially.
- 1:09:33Speaker 3: All right, it is Friday. It is time for your
- 1:09:36Speaker 3: Friday fail stories. All right, ladies and.
- 1:10:23Speaker 5: Gentlemen, boys and girls, it is time for your Friday fans.
- 1:10:28Speaker 3: Stars always beautified. They have the perfect plan, the plan
- 1:10:33Speaker 3: that can never go wrong with it. Somewhere along the
- 1:10:35Speaker 3: line and one from being a great idea to one
- 1:10:38Speaker 3: big steak in mega uber ultrack.
- 1:10:55Speaker 22: A worsaking so good it's good. It's not solid like
- 1:10:59Speaker 22: it no warbling.
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: So it was so solid it was a no wiper,
- 1:11:02Speaker 3: you know.
- 1:11:03Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:11:04Speaker 3: To be honest, I don't know when it's good or
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: when it's bad. But you can't hear it. No, really,
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: you are not all right. So this is about a guy.
- 1:11:16Speaker 3: He was doing something very stupid, Greg And what was
- 1:11:19Speaker 3: he doing? Hiking?
- 1:11:20Speaker 4: Oh god, nothing good can come of that.
- 1:11:22Speaker 3: He was at the Volcanoes National Park in Hawaii and
- 1:11:26Speaker 3: for some reason he decided that it'd be a good
- 1:11:28Speaker 3: idea to hike in a restricted area. The area is
- 1:11:31Speaker 3: off limits on a kind of hazardous terrain, unstable cliff edges,
- 1:11:35Speaker 3: and the guy he goes anyway. Now, fast forward a
- 1:11:38Speaker 3: few hours. Nobody's heard from this dude. They sent a
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: search and rescue team to go look for him. In
- 1:11:43Speaker 3: the good news they found him. Bad news, he did
- 1:11:49Speaker 3: sailed and investigation is underway. Park officials are reminding everybody
- 1:11:52Speaker 3: it's done. They have to do this, reminding everybody, but
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: those restricted areas are off limits for a reason. Stay
- 1:11:58Speaker 3: in the open areas. Why say, if that was like Kawai,
- 1:12:02Speaker 3: I need to check in on my friend because she
- 1:12:03Speaker 3: said that she was going on eleven day hiking trip
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: and Volcanoes Volcanoes National.
- 1:12:11Speaker 11: Yeah, that's the Big Island.
- 1:12:12Speaker 3: Okay, Okay, I haven't heard. Did we do the story?
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: I can't remember. I feel like I feel like maybe
- 1:12:22Speaker 3: we did hit me about the professor caught on the
- 1:12:26Speaker 3: hot mic. Do we hear about that? Adi? So? Uh,
- 1:12:31Speaker 3: this is from New York. This university professor was on
- 1:12:33Speaker 3: a zoom call and it was an education council meeting.
- 1:12:37Speaker 3: It's this eighth grade student who's black, expressing concerns about
- 1:12:42Speaker 3: the potential shut down of her school. And this is
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: what happened.
- 1:12:46Speaker 23: He delivers lessons and helps us fit those skills into
- 1:12:49Speaker 23: our lessons.
- 1:12:56Speaker 14: I mean, like, if you train a black person well enough,
- 1:12:58Speaker 14: they'll know to use the back. You don't know to
- 1:13:00Speaker 14: tell them anymore.
- 1:13:03Speaker 3: What you're saying is absolutely hearable here. You've got to stop.
- 1:13:07Speaker 3: So yeah. So the video itself has gone viral online
- 1:13:14Speaker 3: with pretty much everybody labeling the professor a racist. Now,
- 1:13:17Speaker 3: menace if you're the professor, break out the menace. Excuse general,
- 1:13:20Speaker 3: give you give me your best shot on this one.
- 1:13:22Speaker 3: Defend No, it's not defense, Like you got to come
- 1:13:25Speaker 3: up with an excuse. Does means real? Why are you
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: saying those words? I would be because I'll tell you
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: what she went with. Maybe she was like reading comments
- 1:13:38Speaker 3: on something else. So was it her words? She was
- 1:13:41Speaker 3: reading comments what other people were saying.
- 1:13:44Speaker 11: Yeah, I would say, I'm going over the script that
- 1:13:46Speaker 11: we're going to do at school, and if you didn't
- 1:13:48Speaker 11: cut the arts program, you'd know that.
- 1:13:49Speaker 23: He delivers lessons and helps us fit those skills.
- 1:13:52Speaker 14: And the black students that you don't, I mean, you
- 1:14:00Speaker 14: train a black person well enough, they'll know to use
- 1:14:02Speaker 14: the back you don't have to tell them anymore.
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: They Yeah, so they are totally terrible. So it doesn't
- 1:14:11Speaker 3: sound like she's reading comments. The professor apologized she broke
- 1:14:15Speaker 3: out the meta excuse. Generator said that the you know,
- 1:14:19Speaker 3: trying to explain the concept, the concept of the systemic
- 1:14:23Speaker 3: racism to her kid who was in the room. Okay,
- 1:14:25Speaker 3: she was just trying to explain.
- 1:14:27Speaker 11: Are you saying they're too dumb to know they're about
- 1:14:29Speaker 11: systemic racism.
- 1:14:30Speaker 4: She's probably saying like this is what people are saying.
- 1:14:33Speaker 3: Yeah, there you go. So no one, No one bought that. Now,
- 1:14:37Speaker 3: as of the last I heard, she was still listed
- 1:14:40Speaker 3: as a professor at the university, but the school is
- 1:14:42Speaker 3: investigating them. Sale dumb question because you know, you always
- 1:14:47Speaker 3: hear how it's like super hard to fire these people
- 1:14:50Speaker 3: and they go, I have tenure, Like what does ten year?
- 1:14:52Speaker 3: What does that even mean? They're like a vested they
- 1:14:56Speaker 3: said they they've been there contract and you can't get fired.
- 1:14:59Speaker 3: It more difficult to like even if they are not great. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:15:07Speaker 3: like the.
- 1:15:08Speaker 11: There was subtracted till the end of time.
- 1:15:10Speaker 3: No, yeah, there, but there was there was something specific
- 1:15:12Speaker 3: like it had to raise to a level of whatever
- 1:15:14Speaker 3: for total then to just be able to Otherwise you're
- 1:15:17Speaker 3: protected because of the time that you've been The time
- 1:15:21Speaker 3: makes time serve basically, right, Yeah, okay, yeah, so you
- 1:15:24Speaker 3: can do what you want. Yeah, pretty much? Am I
- 1:15:26Speaker 3: saying it wrong?
- 1:15:27Speaker 11: People?
- 1:15:28Speaker 4: Ten years and you are e ten?
- 1:15:30Speaker 3: Youre not ten years? Yeah a good ten year Scotch
- 1:15:34Speaker 3: or something. I say, right, real quick, tenure, tenure, ten
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: tenure ten times like ten years to me, but it
- 1:15:41Speaker 3: does ten youre t yeah, like not year. What I'm
- 1:15:47Speaker 3: saying better, like you were just gonna slow it down
- 1:15:49Speaker 3: ten your ten year ten year? Right, got it? Yeah? Exactly?
- 1:15:53Speaker 4: Like that's not my pen that's your pen.
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: Yeah, I got tenure.
- 1:15:56Speaker 4: You can't.
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: How about this one? This is where a couple of
- 1:16:01Speaker 3: teenagers they had stashed a bag outside of a it's
- 1:16:04Speaker 3: a good will kind of place. It wasn't a good will,
- 1:16:05Speaker 3: it was like a charity shop of some kind of Now,
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: they weren't donating this, they were just stashing it. They're
- 1:16:10Speaker 3: kind of like Menaced with his bags of merch at
- 1:16:13Speaker 3: a festival. He said, he'll just you know, stash it
- 1:16:15Speaker 3: there in the bushes, will come back and get it littery. Well,
- 1:16:21Speaker 3: they came back, the bag was gone. Now they did
- 1:16:23Speaker 3: leave it in the donation area, so the employees of
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: this charity shop they thought somebody was donating something, so
- 1:16:30Speaker 3: there you go. When they picked it up, they noticed
- 1:16:32Speaker 3: the smell coming from the bag. Inside was over two
- 1:16:35Speaker 3: thousand dollars and just shy of two ounces of weed.
- 1:16:40Speaker 3: So the two teenagers they came back. They wanted the bag,
- 1:16:43Speaker 3: but they were told that the cops were already called
- 1:16:45Speaker 3: and that they needed to leave. They refused, which made
- 1:16:48Speaker 3: it real easy because they were just sitting there when
- 1:16:50Speaker 3: the cops showed up and they arrested these guys. I
- 1:16:53Speaker 3: searched of their car turned up another gun, a police
- 1:16:55Speaker 3: scanner and some more cash. It is mom, come get
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: me fail jail sale in.
- 1:17:02Speaker 11: The cash like okay, but the gun on the scanner.
- 1:17:04Speaker 3: And at that point you just go all right.
- 1:17:06Speaker 11: Cool, all right, it happens.
- 1:17:09Speaker 3: Yeah. Uh, let's see, hey woody tenure for teachers being that, yes,
- 1:17:15Speaker 3: they are protected after their third year, but they can
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: still get Friday fired by due process. Friday fired. Yeah,
- 1:17:23Speaker 3: another thing. I don't know, Friday fired. What is that?
- 1:17:27Speaker 11: Maybe that was maybe a typo. I think it was
- 1:17:29Speaker 11: just fired.
- 1:17:30Speaker 3: I mean people still get Friday fired. I mean, and
- 1:17:33Speaker 3: Friday fired is the worst because, like you get fired
- 1:17:35Speaker 3: on Friday and you have questions, you gotta wait all
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: weekend until Monday. I mean that usually happens radio. You
- 1:17:40Speaker 3: get fired on a Friday. That's uh, well no, most
- 1:17:44Speaker 3: of the times for Christmas. Well, I said most of
- 1:17:46Speaker 3: the times. The companies they like to do them on
- 1:17:48Speaker 3: Wednesdays or Thursdays that people do have questions they can
- 1:17:52Speaker 3: contact them on Friday and not be stuck for the weekend.
- 1:17:55Speaker 3: Oh really, yeah, weird. It's a very common practice.
- 1:17:58Speaker 4: I don't remember the day I got fired, like day
- 1:18:01Speaker 4: the week previous job.
- 1:18:01Speaker 3: I don't remember the circumstances for which you know I
- 1:18:04Speaker 3: was being fed. They don't think they cared. So but
- 1:18:07Speaker 3: like they're doing like a chunk of layoffs or something,
- 1:18:10Speaker 3: they'll do it on a Thursday. So if they, you know,
- 1:18:12Speaker 3: the people have questions about whatever it is, they can
- 1:18:16Speaker 3: reach somebody in HR on Friday. Well, when I was
- 1:18:19Speaker 3: coming here for this job, I knew that I was
- 1:18:22Speaker 3: going to put in my two weeks on a Monday.
- 1:18:25Speaker 3: And I knew immediately when I put in my two weeks,
- 1:18:27Speaker 3: we're going to ask me to leave. So on Friday,
- 1:18:29Speaker 3: I cleared everything out of my office smart. They said
- 1:18:33Speaker 3: that was a that was a type of yeah, okay,
- 1:18:36Speaker 3: say Friday. I meant say, they still get fired by
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: due process and text to speech. Look at it. So
- 1:18:53Speaker 3: what was Greg? You had a follow up till we
- 1:18:56Speaker 3: did the fail stories.
- 1:18:57Speaker 4: I had my own fail story. Do you ever say
- 1:19:01Speaker 4: something out loud and you realize, oh my god, I
- 1:19:04Speaker 4: am so stupid. Yes, all the time. All the time.
- 1:19:10Speaker 4: It boggled my mind how stupid I am. So I'm
- 1:19:14Speaker 4: watching this show It's DTF Saint Louis with Jason Ruhlman
- 1:19:18Speaker 4: Jason Bateman.
- 1:19:19Speaker 11: I want to see that.
- 1:19:19Speaker 4: And then there's this actor David Harbor. You might not
- 1:19:22Speaker 4: know him by name, seen him.
- 1:19:24Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, he was? What else was he in?
- 1:19:26Speaker 11: Stranger Things?
- 1:19:27Speaker 4: Stranger Things? He was in a movie Violent Night. I
- 1:19:30Speaker 4: believe anyway, one of these actors that you would recognize
- 1:19:33Speaker 4: if you see him. So I'm watching the show DTF
- 1:19:35Speaker 4: Saint Louis with Mario, and in the show, without giving
- 1:19:39Speaker 4: any spoilers away, David Harbor is overweight, and Mario kept saying,
- 1:19:44Speaker 4: I think he's in a fat suit. I think he's
- 1:19:46Speaker 4: in a fat suit. And I said, I don't think so.
- 1:19:48Speaker 4: It looks incredibly real. There's certain scenes where his shirt
- 1:19:51Speaker 4: is hiked up and you can see his belly. I said,
- 1:19:53Speaker 4: that looks incredibly real. He probably gained weight for this role.
- 1:19:57Speaker 4: And then Mario said, no, it's got to be a
- 1:19:59Speaker 4: fat suit. Gotta be a fat suit. Fast forward to
- 1:20:02Speaker 4: they're doing a scene, a flashback scene, this took place
- 1:20:06Speaker 4: in the past. He's walking down the street and he's thin,
- 1:20:09Speaker 4: he's fit, he's slim, and Mario said, see, he isn't
- 1:20:12Speaker 4: a fat suit and I said, no, that's a flashback
- 1:20:17Speaker 4: that happened before. And then he looked at me like
- 1:20:22Speaker 4: I was crazy. I said what, I said, what aren't
- 1:20:25Speaker 4: you getting that's a flashback that was before current day
- 1:20:28Speaker 4: and he said, you know, this is not my life
- 1:20:32Speaker 4: and they filmed it all, you know, in the same
- 1:20:35Speaker 4: time period.
- 1:20:38Speaker 3: I'm like, no, that was a flashback, you stupid.
- 1:20:44Speaker 4: And then I realized what he was saying, and I'm like, oh,
- 1:20:47Speaker 4: I said, I am stupider than I thought were you.
- 1:20:51Speaker 11: That is hilarious, little tipsy involved.
- 1:20:55Speaker 4: I said it in all seriousness. Whether I was tipsy
- 1:20:58Speaker 4: or not has nothing to do.
- 1:21:00Speaker 3: Because you kind of say stuff like that when you're tipsy.
- 1:21:03Speaker 4: Sure, but I don't.
- 1:21:05Speaker 3: Believe it happens at other times too.
- 1:21:07Speaker 6: Greg.
- 1:21:07Speaker 3: I've said a number time. You know, dude, I love
- 1:21:09Speaker 3: you to death.
- 1:21:10Speaker 11: I know.
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: It's crazy to me, how dude. Greg is one of
- 1:21:13Speaker 3: the smartest people I know, and for certain things, one
- 1:21:17Speaker 3: of the dumbest people I know. And like where you're like, no,
- 1:21:21Speaker 3: two and then you have two more, so that now
- 1:21:24Speaker 3: now you have four. R Dude, you're like speaking a
- 1:21:29Speaker 3: different langage right now. I'm like, dude, what don't you get?
- 1:21:32Speaker 3: And you're he just can't sometimes and it's weird because
- 1:21:36Speaker 3: he's so smart with these other things. But you can
- 1:21:39Speaker 3: recall certain things like you know about like you know,
- 1:21:43Speaker 3: like book smart kind of stuff, right, But then there's
- 1:21:46Speaker 3: other things where it's like, dude, sometimes it's so shocking
- 1:21:49Speaker 3: you he's strolling right now, Yeah, right, he's got to
- 1:21:52Speaker 3: be kidding.
- 1:21:53Speaker 4: Much like that lifeguard sign that they said no lifeguard
- 1:21:55Speaker 4: on duty, And I said, why would you put that
- 1:21:57Speaker 4: on a lifeguard stand? It was only when the door
- 1:21:59Speaker 4: was closed the sign would show there's no lifeguard here.
- 1:22:03Speaker 4: I'm like, of all places to put us on right now?
- 1:22:05Speaker 4: Why did the same thing happens to me all the time?
- 1:22:07Speaker 4: And then I think, am I going crazy? Am I
- 1:22:10Speaker 4: that dumbs?
- 1:22:12Speaker 6: I mean?
- 1:22:12Speaker 4: Baby?
- 1:22:13Speaker 3: And the difference between you and I, Greg is that
- 1:22:16Speaker 3: like I don't have that other side like you where
- 1:22:18Speaker 3: you're really smart with I think.
- 1:22:20Speaker 4: You're being too generous.
- 1:22:22Speaker 3: But oh my god, but everywhere while you say something
- 1:22:25Speaker 3: really stupid.
- 1:22:25Speaker 4: What are you not kidding?
- 1:22:26Speaker 11: It was a flashbar status.
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: I'm giving you a glass half full, thank you very much.
- 1:22:32Speaker 16: Anyway, So sports with the Gee Sheriffs, Yeah yo, Happy Friday,
- 1:22:42Speaker 16: Jeff G Happy Friday.
- 1:22:44Speaker 6: What do you show?
- 1:22:44Speaker 7: Let's go ahead start with the Lakers. They got it
- 1:22:46Speaker 7: done last night against the.
- 1:22:47Speaker 3: Bulls got its way.
- 1:22:51Speaker 6: Luca fifty one points.
- 1:22:53Speaker 7: He was one assist, shy of a triple double.
- 1:22:56Speaker 6: Lakers did work last night.
- 1:22:57Speaker 7: Man Austin Reves had over thirty Lebron had eighteen points
- 1:23:01Speaker 7: in the paint and second chance points were all the
- 1:23:03Speaker 7: difference last night. Lakers move up to third in the West.
- 1:23:07Speaker 7: Lakers and Nuggets tomorrow five point thirty on ABC. That's

- 1:23:51Speaker 7: Shout out to my future baby mama, Riley Tiernan, just kidding.
- 1:23:54Speaker 6: She has no idea who I am.
- 1:23:55Speaker 7: I'm Jeff GeV and that's a SoCal sports I Jeff.
- 1:23:58Speaker 3: Ju everybody rating has come out every week and they're
- 1:24:02Speaker 3: not good. Don't feel too bad, Greg. Here's a text.
- 1:24:11Speaker 3: Greg was talking about how you want to just quick
- 1:24:14Speaker 3: recap for if watching that.
- 1:24:17Speaker 4: New show DTF. Saint louis the actor David Harbor heavy
- 1:24:20Speaker 4: set in the show. Mario's convinced he's wearing a fat suit.
- 1:24:23Speaker 4: I'm convinced it's real. There's a flashback scene he's very slim,
- 1:24:27Speaker 4: and Mario said, see it is a fat suit and
- 1:24:29Speaker 4: I said, no, that's a flashback that was before. Oh
- 1:24:38Speaker 4: my numbingly So he's pretty upset with himself.
- 1:24:42Speaker 3: This one. I said, my friends and I were blowing
- 1:24:46Speaker 3: up balloons for a party, and my blonde friend said,
- 1:24:48Speaker 3: don't open the door. We don't want the balloons to
- 1:24:50Speaker 3: float up and escape. We weren't using him, just our bread.
- 1:24:53Speaker 3: That's from Amelia. Yeah, this this is pretty funny. I've
- 1:25:01Speaker 3: been holding on to this for a while so people
- 1:25:02Speaker 3: are asked, what is the dumbest thing that you've heard
- 1:25:04Speaker 3: somebody say this, one says. A coworker of mine asked
- 1:25:07Speaker 3: where do chicken eggs come from? And she was serious.
- 1:25:11Speaker 3: My ex thought that drinking soy milk could change his sexuality.
- 1:25:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:25:17Speaker 3: Somebody asked if it's safe to sit next to me
- 1:25:19Speaker 3: now that I have cancer because his wife is pregnant
- 1:25:21Speaker 3: and he doesn't want her to catch it.
- 1:25:24Speaker 11: Our schools are failing us.
- 1:25:26Speaker 3: Well, there's more on that too, I have I have
- 1:25:28Speaker 3: something about that remind me. A man I know was
- 1:25:32Speaker 3: put on a low slash no sodium died by his doctor.
- 1:25:35Speaker 3: When I noticed that he was putting salt on his food,
- 1:25:37Speaker 3: he said, no, it's okay, it's sea salt. It's good
- 1:25:39Speaker 3: for you. Well, we had it department tell us that.
- 1:25:46Speaker 3: One of our coworkers asked what website they need to
- 1:25:48Speaker 3: be on to charge charge the laptop. That's yeah. Now
- 1:25:52Speaker 3: this was years ago. Laptops weren't just issued to everybody
- 1:25:56Speaker 3: at that point yet, Like most people still had just
- 1:25:58Speaker 3: like a desktop, you know, the town at their cubicle.
- 1:26:02Speaker 9: Yeah, but still pretty everyone knows this charge dot org.
- 1:26:08Speaker 3: I had someone tell me to be sure that I
- 1:26:10Speaker 3: squished all the air out of a produce bag, or
- 1:26:12Speaker 3: I'd be charged more. That's funny, charged more, Yeah, because
- 1:26:17Speaker 3: they're going to the way. My roommate and I are
- 1:26:21Speaker 3: both American. When she asked where I was moving in Canada,
- 1:26:24Speaker 3: I told her British Columbia. She asked which side that
- 1:26:27Speaker 3: was on. I told her the Pacific. Her response is
- 1:26:29Speaker 3: that the right or the left. Geometry was never my
- 1:26:32Speaker 3: best subject, though. I once had a high school student
- 1:26:36Speaker 3: tell me that I didn't know anything about trees because
- 1:26:39Speaker 3: I had grown up in California, where there are no trees.
- 1:26:42Speaker 3: Thank you trees. My daughter, aged forty five, a college graduate,
- 1:26:47Speaker 3: asked me which side won the silvil War. I had
- 1:26:51Speaker 3: a friend who thought that the windmills in Palm Springs
- 1:26:54Speaker 3: were giant fans to help cool the desert.
- 1:26:56Speaker 11: Oh, I like that.
- 1:26:58Speaker 3: Now, going back to the system and yeah, failing people.
- 1:27:02Speaker 3: Teachers were asked what are some basic things that students
- 1:27:05Speaker 3: can't do for themselves anymore?
- 1:27:06Speaker 11: Okay?
- 1:27:07Speaker 3: The majority of students struggled to read a clock unless
- 1:27:10Speaker 3: it's digital. I my kids are the same. Yeah, a
- 1:27:13Speaker 3: lot of kids, they go, how can you tell what time?
- 1:27:15Speaker 3: It is. I go, what do you mean? I go
- 1:27:17Speaker 3: the clock? I go, well, look yeah, they go, well,
- 1:27:19Speaker 3: it's only twelve through you know whatever, one, two, three, four?
- 1:27:23Speaker 3: I go, yeah, but how do you know it's like
- 1:27:24Speaker 3: forty six? Now two forty six or you know whatever?
- 1:27:29Speaker 3: I go, what that's digital right there?
- 1:27:31Speaker 11: If you're the one that isn't digital?
- 1:27:34Speaker 3: I know, But how you like?
- 1:27:35Speaker 4: They can?
- 1:27:35Speaker 3: They get it? They know they get the big number.
- 1:27:38Speaker 3: So let's say it's two o'clock. But how do I
- 1:27:40Speaker 3: know it's to forty five? You don't see a.
- 1:27:42Speaker 9: Forty five like they do fractions and do like pie charts. Right,
- 1:27:45Speaker 9: you would think just from like you could make a.
- 1:27:47Speaker 3: Guess, right. I remember in school we would have, hey,
- 1:27:50Speaker 3: draw forty five and you draw it on a little
- 1:27:54Speaker 3: you know, blank clock face right, Or they'd say all right,
- 1:27:57Speaker 3: well it's uh, show me where you know you have
- 1:28:00Speaker 3: like a they had a clock where the hands would
- 1:28:02Speaker 3: move and go, all right, show us what three twenty
- 1:28:05Speaker 3: four it looks like.
- 1:28:06Speaker 11: And don't mix up the big hand the little hand.
- 1:28:08Speaker 3: Yeah, And you'd have to set the clock in the
- 1:28:10Speaker 3: in the room to do that.
- 1:28:11Speaker 11: They probably absolutely hate, or just walk right past the
- 1:28:14Speaker 11: ones with zero.
- 1:28:17Speaker 3: Yeah, minimals. Yeah, let's see. Here's some of the other
- 1:28:21Speaker 3: one of Again, these are teachers. They were asked, what
- 1:28:23Speaker 3: are some basic things that students can't do for themselves anymore?
- 1:28:26Speaker 3: Kids can't tie their own shoes, not even fifth graders.
- 1:28:29Speaker 3: What kids to tie their Well, they also have those sketches,
- 1:28:33Speaker 3: them slip ons, you know what I mean, Like we're
- 1:28:35Speaker 3: you just step into them. Yeah, you know what I thought.
- 1:28:37Speaker 3: Romans couldn't tie their shoes either. Yep, thank you pretty well.
- 1:28:41Speaker 3: I'm a high school teacher. And not only can the
- 1:28:44Speaker 3: students not address envelopes correctly, but they also can't fold
- 1:28:47Speaker 3: the paper correctly to fit into the envelope.
- 1:28:50Speaker 11: They can't trifle.
- 1:28:52Speaker 3: Some can't even figure out a paper clip. It's shocking.
- 1:28:55Speaker 3: Oh God, like here, put this on, Like how would you?
- 1:28:58Speaker 11: But do you poke it through straight? And poke it
- 1:29:01Speaker 11: through the paper? There you go? Yeah you did it?
- 1:29:04Speaker 4: Oh, I go, I made a Christmas ornament.
- 1:29:06Speaker 3: I mean, we're making fun of them. But what he
- 1:29:07Speaker 3: doesn't know how to wipe his own butf with toilet papers? Yes,
- 1:29:10Speaker 3: my het again? Why why question how the sausage is
- 1:29:15Speaker 3: made when you get to the same result. Actually, I've multiple.
- 1:29:19Speaker 24: Yes, you do because you've clowed multiple toilets, so that's
- 1:29:21Speaker 24: not the same. No, it's because I use too much
- 1:29:23Speaker 24: toilet paper because I don't want to get any of
- 1:29:24Speaker 24: my hand, so therefore the end result is different. The
- 1:29:26Speaker 24: end result is you get clean ass and a plunger.
- 1:29:30Speaker 24: That's because it's too much toilet paper.
- 1:29:32Speaker 10: No, we'll do.
- 1:29:33Speaker 3: Are two different things. Yes, and you stand. I could
- 1:29:36Speaker 3: use less toilet paper to accomplish the same thing, but
- 1:29:39Speaker 3: I put like a boxing glove full on there, so
- 1:29:41Speaker 3: I don't and so on a color not anymore because
- 1:29:44Speaker 3: of you know the bid dat any Yeah, the toilet
- 1:29:47Speaker 3: paper is simply just to dry at this point.
- 1:29:49Speaker 4: But much like along the lines of writing a check,
- 1:29:51Speaker 4: how does it take more than one try to learn
- 1:29:53Speaker 4: how to address an envelope? I don't care.
- 1:29:57Speaker 3: I'm a high school art teacher and my students cannot
- 1:29:59Speaker 3: locate full inches on a ruler. I had to circle
- 1:30:02Speaker 3: all the whole numbers.
- 1:30:04Speaker 11: The inches is the only one you can do easily.
- 1:30:07Speaker 3: They don't.
- 1:30:08Speaker 4: Yeah, have you ever, as an adult, measured something and
- 1:30:11Speaker 4: then you tell somebody how big it is and you
- 1:30:12Speaker 4: say it's nine inches and four little slashes?
- 1:30:16Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:30:16Speaker 4: Right, right, right, Yeah, I don't say like a corner
- 1:30:20Speaker 4: or an eight. I go, yeah, it's nine and four slashes.
- 1:30:23Speaker 11: Course slashes. I like that. I agree with that.
- 1:30:26Speaker 3: Kids know they'll pass no matter how unqualified, ill equipped,
- 1:30:29Speaker 3: and unprepared they are. They come to school with the
- 1:30:31Speaker 3: attitude that I won't do the work and you can't
- 1:30:33Speaker 3: make me.
- 1:30:34Speaker 11: I didn't know that. I thought kids were afraid of
- 1:30:36Speaker 11: being failed, like being held back, and.
- 1:30:38Speaker 3: I don't think so that's a problem. Students are using
- 1:30:41Speaker 3: AI to think for them, right for them, and summarize
- 1:30:43Speaker 3: any readings for them that are more than a paragraph.
- 1:30:46Speaker 3: We put technology in every classroom, but kids don't understand
- 1:30:49Speaker 3: how to use it. This one says, I just retired
- 1:30:52Speaker 3: after spending decades teaching an intro course at the university.
- 1:30:56Speaker 3: The reason cheating is the norm is the reason the
- 1:30:59Speaker 3: cheating norm and accepted. Now critical thinking is out the
- 1:31:02Speaker 3: door and the use of chat GPT is the only
- 1:31:05Speaker 3: way students answer questions or write something on a signed topic.
- 1:31:08Speaker 11: Yeah, we knew that. I mean, I'm not surprised.

- 1:41:49Speaker 3: I think I know what that is.
- 1:41:51Speaker 1: Yeah, this is the Woodie Show.
- 1:41:53Speaker 3: Dumb lawsuit of the day. This woman sued her employer.
- 1:41:59Speaker 3: Her boss wouldn't stop calling her a potato. What now,
- 1:42:04Speaker 3: my daughter? She calls her best friend Sophie. They have
- 1:42:07Speaker 3: a nickname for They call her potato. And it's like,
- 1:42:09Speaker 3: looks like this cute little like you know, it's an
- 1:42:11Speaker 3: endearing thing. Yeah, it's like it's not insulting. I'll say, oh,
- 1:42:15Speaker 3: so are you and Sophie? Who who are you in? Potato?
- 1:42:21Speaker 3: Potitoo like she's yeah, because she's thirteen year old girl. Anyway,
- 1:42:27Speaker 3: this woman is suing her employer. The boss wouldn't stop
- 1:42:30Speaker 3: calling her a potato. She's Irish, she'sh oh. She said
- 1:42:34Speaker 3: that calling her that quote totally eroded my self respect
- 1:42:40Speaker 3: and my self esteem. It made me feel small, insecure, violated,
- 1:42:46Speaker 3: and extremely anxious.
- 1:42:49Speaker 11: Got here, dude, I almost I almost was ready to
- 1:42:52Speaker 11: maybe support her, but the anxiety and the violation. Now,
- 1:42:56Speaker 11: all I know is that I know people of Irish
- 1:42:59Speaker 11: descent that are still very mad at the British.
- 1:43:01Speaker 3: So I know this is a thing if she's calling.
- 1:43:03Speaker 11: A potato from the potato famine, but do Okay, So
- 1:43:06Speaker 11: I'm part Irish, but you know, I don't go as
- 1:43:09Speaker 11: hardcore as you know.
- 1:43:10Speaker 3: There were so many people that go like man they
- 1:43:12Speaker 3: want to make sure we get it. You're like, same
- 1:43:15Speaker 3: with the Italians, like we got it. But is that
- 1:43:21Speaker 3: insulting or did they embrace the potato like you know,
- 1:43:24Speaker 3: I don't know what do you mean because Irish like
- 1:43:27Speaker 3: this woman did not in the well because it wasn't
- 1:43:30Speaker 3: one thing.
- 1:43:30Speaker 11: About the potato family, the family and then the British.
- 1:43:34Speaker 11: I think if I went to a good school, I
- 1:43:36Speaker 11: don't remember. Basically starved all the Irish people and and
- 1:43:40Speaker 11: made it so there wasn't anything left.
- 1:43:41Speaker 3: But they had potato, right, it was a potato.
- 1:43:45Speaker 11: There was no but there was no food coming into Ireland. Oh,
- 1:43:49Speaker 11: I see they usually grow potatoes, but they couldn't even
- 1:43:51Speaker 11: grow potato.
- 1:43:52Speaker 3: Got it?
- 1:43:53Speaker 11: So I could see. It's a little head of noxious.
- 1:43:55Speaker 11: But do you violated well for it to be your
- 1:43:57Speaker 11: boss though?
- 1:43:58Speaker 21: Too?
- 1:43:58Speaker 8: I constantly calling you that a lot of people don't
- 1:44:01Speaker 8: like nicknames and stuff like that because it, I mean,
- 1:44:03Speaker 8: some people feel it takes away their identity of who
- 1:44:06Speaker 8: they are and.
- 1:44:07Speaker 11: I wish I had.
- 1:44:08Speaker 3: Maybe they're just annoyed, the judge constantly annoyed by it, blunt, secure, violating,
- 1:44:16Speaker 3: extremely anxious. The judge added that it was reasonable for
- 1:44:20Speaker 3: an individual of Irish heritage to find the repeated use
- 1:44:22Speaker 3: of the word potato and other racist terms offensive and humiliating,
- 1:44:27Speaker 3: and the judge warded her thirty thousand dollars.
- 1:44:30Speaker 11: Somebody called me a bagel right now.
- 1:44:34Speaker 3: And the company fired the manager who called her a potato.
- 1:44:37Speaker 11: Damn.
- 1:44:38Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I mean at the tone of like
- 1:44:42Speaker 3: the manager maybe thought they were funny, so they constantly said.
- 1:44:45Speaker 11: It sounds more like a Michael Scott like, Okay, you
- 1:44:48Speaker 11: think you're hilarious, but super annoying.
- 1:44:50Speaker 3: Yeah, but can you imagine filing a lawsuit over like
- 1:44:55Speaker 3: over somebody calling you a potato, especially at work, any
- 1:44:59Speaker 3: lawsuit literally bed and that would.
- 1:45:01Speaker 11: Be the nicest thing any of us have ever called
- 1:45:03Speaker 11: each other.
- 1:45:05Speaker 3: I'm saying that, I'm thinking about some of the people
- 1:45:08Speaker 3: that I worked for earlier in my career, and dude,
- 1:45:11Speaker 3: there was yelling and screaming and throwing of stuff, and
- 1:45:15Speaker 3: it's weird looking back on it. It's like, I feel,
- 1:45:19Speaker 3: I feel like it made me better, Like I didn't
- 1:45:21Speaker 3: feel violated or whatever, Like I felt like whether it
- 1:45:24Speaker 3: was not wanting to be in the crosshairs of that
- 1:45:27Speaker 3: or not wanting to disappoint the program director of the
- 1:45:31Speaker 3: radio station, and I'm thinking you're doing a good job.
- 1:45:33Speaker 3: Like it made It made me really focus and do
- 1:45:38Speaker 3: a better job. Yeah, I know it's different now, right,
- 1:45:42Speaker 3: it's different now. You can't do that, right, I know
- 1:45:44Speaker 3: you can't manage that way. A lot of people will
- 1:45:46Speaker 3: like disagree with you, but I don't know. It kind
- 1:45:49Speaker 3: of trained me not to sweat to small stuff and
- 1:45:52Speaker 3: care about stuff stuff that actually matters, like that would
- 1:45:54Speaker 3: have been like, oh, that's it, the potato, Okay, it's
- 1:45:58Speaker 3: a good day, that's pretty good. Oh, man, Like, dude,
- 1:46:03Speaker 3: this one guy, he he was crazy, like I would
- 1:46:08Speaker 3: like he had to have like some kind of chemical
- 1:46:10Speaker 3: and bounce like he was that nuts. But I think
- 1:46:11Speaker 3: that was more. It was that drill sergeant kind of.
- 1:46:14Speaker 4: That's the thing.
- 1:46:15Speaker 3: Mentality.
- 1:46:16Speaker 4: The drill sergeant thing scared me less than this one
- 1:46:19Speaker 4: program director I would had that would walk into the
- 1:46:21Speaker 4: studio during a shift and look at me very deadpan
- 1:46:25Speaker 4: and just say, do you want to explain what the
- 1:46:28Speaker 4: f you just did? And it was more scary that
- 1:46:30Speaker 4: he was mellow about.
- 1:46:32Speaker 11: My blood, whereas if.
- 1:46:33Speaker 3: They're yelling and what you like, we cut?
- 1:46:35Speaker 6: But what with missed?
- 1:46:36Speaker 3: What kind of mistake.
- 1:46:38Speaker 4: Was it like a song that had to swear that
- 1:46:40Speaker 4: I played the wrong edit of something like that?
- 1:46:43Speaker 3: Something that's justified?
- 1:46:47Speaker 2: Yeah, what were you playing?
- 1:46:49Speaker 3: Sensitivity training for a politically correct world show?
