  The easy way out of doing everything for a natural person

  is to quit. But today I want you to

  understand that in the race of life, only those who do not quit

  win. And if you must win, if the

  story will end that you won, then you must keep on fighting.

  Let me give you an example. This a guy that was in, you

  know, in a marathon, in a race, I think maybe 200m race.

  So while he was running, he needed to jump some certain
• 0:31
  things obstacle on the way. So when he jumped another one
• 0:37
  because of I don't know what happened, but his leg mystically
• 0:40
  hit the object which he he fell. But do you know that he never
• 0:45
  allowed that to stop him When he fell, he stood up in middle and
• 0:49
  started running. You know, it was not an easy
• 0:52
  condition because like, you would think it's over for him
• 0:56
  because he was leading at that point when that happened.

  But do you know that this brother kept on running, kept on
• 1:03
  running and eventually he won. He actually won the race.

  So I, I now made me realize that if this brother decided to just

  say, oh, I'm trying, but you know, obstacle stopped me and I
• 1:18
  stopped, he would have not been the winner.

  That made him to be last. At first he was behind in as
• 1:25
  much as he was in front, but that didn't stop him from keep
• 1:28
  on pressing. Another example I saw of this
• 1:31
  kind of scenario is a guy was in a race.

  So when he was about to, you know, they say a line where you
• 1:38
  have to pass, so it's like a rope.

  So he was the first guy, but I think something just happened in
• 1:45
  his body, you know, maybe his body reacted or something, so he
• 1:49
  fell. Do you know this guy rule on the
• 1:52
  ground of that race? These are videos that are on the
• 1:55
  Internet. Even he ran until he actually
• 1:59
  crossed it like by ruling he ruled.

  So he made me see how people are willing to press till big become

  the victors that they are. You see they could have made
• 2:10
  choices as well. You know, my body reacted but

  the other one would say well, my leg mistakely, you know

  displaced and I fell but they kept on pressing.

  What does what lesson can we learn from it?

  Only those who quit whatever we that's why in 2nd Corinthians 4

  verse 7 tonight he said, four, we have these treasures in 18

  vessels for the excellence of the power will be of God and all

  of us. Then verse 8 says something very

  powerful. He said though we are

  persecuted, we are not abandoned.

  Though we get knocked down, God cannot forsake us.

  Then he said, though sometimes we do not know what to do, but

  quitting is not an option. That is the mentality of the

  belief. Actually, you must see that in
• 2:54
  life. Quitting is not an option for
• 2:56
  you. It's not something you said,

  well, I tried and I tried even as though God is no longer with

  me. No, you must have the staying
• 3:05
  power until you get to the finish line.

  Paul was in prison, yet he was writing letters, giving
• 3:12
  instructions. Say once I come out of this
• 3:14
  place, you know I'm going to correct this, correct that he
• 3:17
  was correcting the churches saying and what gave him the
• 3:20
  audacity that he was going to come out of it.

  That is the man that understood well, it means that I fought the
• 3:25
  good fight of it. I have fought the good fight of

  it. A man in prison, but he was

  still persevering. In our generation we are not
• 3:34
  used to dismissive. So once we are faced with
• 3:36
  pressure of the first thing when in our mind is to quit, but God
• 3:43
  is that is not a design of God for us.

  We must learn to keep on persevering.

  We must learn to keep on pressing.

  We must learn that this is system that God has set in place

  and that system necessitates that you work in the experience

  of everything that the Lord has called you.

  I don't know if this word is for you today, but God is saying to

  you do not quit my son, I have so much I want to do through

  you. Do not quit.

  This story will become a story that will inspire people.

  Do not quit. I want to use this to manifest

  my glory. Do not quit and this year you
• 4:20
  will say I will not quit in Jesus name.
