Latest / The Epstein Chronicles / James Comer Blames Americans for Not Buying Congresses Epstein BS
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. James Comer really got up in front of
- 0:07Speaker 1: cameras and whined that nobody is going to believe his
- 0:10Speaker 1: Epstein report when it drops. As if that's some shocking
- 0:14Speaker 1: revelation nobody saw coming. Congratulations James, you finally grasped the
- 0:19Speaker 1: most obvious truth in American politics. Nobody believes a single
- 0:23Speaker 1: word any of you swamp fossils says anymore. That trust
- 0:28Speaker 1: reservoir has ran dry about 20 scandals ago, and now
- 0:32Speaker 1: every time one of you opens your mouth, all we
- 0:34Speaker 1: hear is static and bullshit. The part Comer doesn't seem
- 0:38Speaker 1: to understand is that the disbelief isn't the problem, it's
- 0:42Speaker 1: the solution. Distrust is the immune response to decades of lies, cover-ups,
- 0:47Speaker 1: and staged investigations that go nowhere. And now we want
- 0:51Speaker 1: sympathy because people aren't going to swallow whatever scripted narratives
- 0:55Speaker 1: they're about to push? Cry about it, bud. He had
- 0:58Speaker 1: the nerve to compare the public's reaction to the Warren Commission,
- 1:02Speaker 1: like that's some honorable benchmark instead of a historical insult
- 1:05Speaker 1: to the intelligence of the American people. And what really
- 1:09Speaker 1: makes this clown show unbearable is the arrogance dripping off
- 1:12Speaker 1: every word. The political class treats the public like we're
- 1:16Speaker 1: malfunctioning cattle who can't comprehend the brilliance of their findings.
- 1:22Speaker 1: They act like disbelief is some kind of moral failure
- 1:25Speaker 1: instead of the only sane reaction left. Comer isn't mad
- 1:28Speaker 1: that people will question his report. He's furious that he
- 1:32Speaker 1: can't control the narrative anymore. The internet ripped the leash
- 1:35Speaker 1: off and now they're panicking because the old tricks don't work.
- 1:39Speaker 1: No one's impressed by committee hearings and binders full of
- 1:42Speaker 1: printed emails anymore. We want action, consequences, prosecutions, and names.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Not another useless performance piece. Comer is crying because the
- 1:52Speaker 1: game is finally up. And of course, like every other
- 1:56Speaker 1: politician drowning in their own mediocrity, he blames us for
- 2:00Speaker 1: not buying the bullshit instead of blaming himself for producing it.
- 2:04Speaker 1: It's always our fault, right? The peasants just don't understand.
- 2:08Speaker 1: The public is too emotional. The citizens are too conspiratorial.
- 2:12Speaker 1: The voters need to calm down and be reasonable while
- 2:15Speaker 1: politicians flush another decade down the toilet. Meanwhile, these same
- 2:20Speaker 1: geniuses have been promising to drain the swamp, lock people up,
- 2:23Speaker 1: and expose corruption and seek justice since the Jurassic era.
- 2:28Speaker 1: And what has it produced? Nothing but press releases and
- 2:31Speaker 1: victory dances after indicting someone's assistant's intern's Uber driver. Comer
- 2:38Speaker 1: wants to pretend that he's some crusader for truth, but
- 2:41Speaker 1: every time he steps up to the microphone, all anyone
- 2:44Speaker 1: hears is the hollow ring of another committee clown juggling
- 2:47Speaker 1: subpoenas for show. He's just another guy who swings a
- 2:50Speaker 1: bat without ever hitting the ball. He does just enough
- 2:53Speaker 1: to get on television, just enough to say he's working,
- 2:56Speaker 1: just enough to claim victory, before quietly slinking away into irrelevance.
- 3:01Speaker 1: It's the same pattern on repeat. Announce a massive investigation,
- 3:04Speaker 1: tease big revelations, hype consequences, then deliver a whimper, softer
- 3:09Speaker 1: than baby shit. The only thing that Comer has ever
- 3:13Speaker 1: successfully exposed is that Congress loves theater and hates accountability.
- 3:17Speaker 1: They crave cameras and despise results. The system works perfectly.
- 3:22Speaker 1: For them. Remember Russiagate? All those tough guy speeches about
- 3:26Speaker 1: people going to prison and justice raining down like fire? Yeah,
- 3:30Speaker 1: how'd that go? Not one swamp creature wearing an expensive
- 3:33Speaker 1: suit got frog-marched anywhere. The only people who got arrested
- 3:37Speaker 1: were low-level nobodies and Twitter addicts who lied about nonsense.
- 3:41Speaker 1: James Comey? He's out here writing books and signing autographs
- 3:45Speaker 1: like a rock star at Barnes & Noble. Meanwhile, Comer
- 3:48Speaker 1: and his crew have the audacity to pretend they're delivering
- 3:51Speaker 1: knockout punches. These fools couldn't knock over a drink at
- 3:55Speaker 1: a party. And don't forget all the bombshells they unleashed
- 3:58Speaker 1: that turned out to be damp firecrackers every time they
- 4:01Speaker 1: shout soon, like teenage anime fans waiting for a show finale.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Every time they thump their chests about accountability only to
- 4:09Speaker 1: turn around and hand out immunity deals. Every time they
- 4:12Speaker 1: promise oversight, only for oversight to mean watching criminals escape
- 4:16Speaker 1: consequences in high definition. And the cycle is insulting at
- 4:20Speaker 1: this point. They're not investigating, they're stalling. They're not revealing truth,
- 4:24Speaker 1: they're managing fallout. They're not fighting for survivors, they're protecting donors.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Comer is the poster child for performative politics. The guy
- 4:33Speaker 1: who throws a tantrum when people refuse to applaud the
- 4:36Speaker 1: empty theater production that he's calling justice. This man expects
- 4:40Speaker 1: applause for emotion, not results. He expects gratitude for breadcrumbs
- 4:44Speaker 1: instead of demanding the loaf. And he has the nerve
- 4:47Speaker 1: to act wounded because the public doesn't trust him when
- 4:49Speaker 1: trust is something you earn, not something you whine about.
- 4:53Speaker 1: He wants respect without delivering anything worth respecting. That's the
- 4:57Speaker 1: disease infecting every politician in Washington. They want faith without proof.
- 5:02Speaker 1: They want followers without leadership. They want silence without earning peace.
- 5:08Speaker 1: The truth is, Americans are done with trust-me-bro politics. Done
- 5:12Speaker 1: with reports that lead nowhere, done with committees that exist
- 5:15Speaker 1: only to stage press conferences and dodge responsibility. Nobody's clapping
- 5:20Speaker 1: when a politician says an investigation is coming. Nobody's impressed
- 5:24Speaker 1: by binders full of nothing. Nobody wants another ceremony of
- 5:28Speaker 1: fake seriousness. People want results, not reruns. And if these
- 5:32Speaker 1: guys can't deliver them, the people will. So yeah, Comer,
- 5:36Speaker 1: you're right. Nobody believes you, and nobody will. Not because
- 5:38Speaker 1: we're ungrateful, stupid, or conspiratorial, but because you have proven
- 5:42Speaker 1: time and time again that believing you would require being
- 5:46Speaker 1: clinically brain-dead. The public isn't the problem. The distrust isn't
- 5:50Speaker 1: the crisis. The real crisis is that the American people
- 5:54Speaker 1: have finally realized no cavalry is coming. And certainly not
- 5:58Speaker 1: from clowns like you. The jig is up. The game
- 6:01Speaker 1: is exposed. The age of gullible obedience is dead. Today's
- 6:05Speaker 1: article is from Politico and the headline, Nobody Will Ever
- 6:09Speaker 1: Believe It. James Comer airs doubts about his own Epstein investigation.
- 6:15Speaker 1: This article was authored by Haley Fuchs. Without James Comer's
- 6:20Speaker 1: house investigation into Jeffrey Epstein, the world might have never
- 6:23Speaker 1: seen the birthday book full of lewd materials or the
- 6:26Speaker 1: trove of more than 20,000 documents elucidating the late convicted
- 6:31Speaker 1: sex offender's dealings with global power players. including President Trump. Well,
- 6:36Speaker 1: that's true. Unless, of course, the DOJ actually did their
- 6:40Speaker 1: job and opened a brand new investigation into the whole
- 6:43Speaker 1: thing and subpoenaed those documents, which they should have done
- 6:46Speaker 1: in the first place, right? Why did the state still
- 6:49Speaker 1: have those documents? Why weren't all those emails, all those documents,
- 6:53Speaker 1: everything in the hands of the DOJ and the FBI?
- 6:58Speaker 1: That's a question somebody should ask. It would have been
- 7:01Speaker 1: a career-defining triumph for any House Oversight Committee chair, but
- 7:05Speaker 1: not for Comer, who expressed deep ambivalence about the ongoing
- 7:09Speaker 1: probe in a recent interview. What he's trying to do
- 7:12Speaker 1: is set it up. Because he knows we're not going
- 7:15Speaker 1: to get all the information. He knows he's not giving
- 7:17Speaker 1: us everything, so he's setting it up for failure now.
- 7:21Speaker 1: If you read between the lines, what he's saying is
- 7:24Speaker 1: you're not going to get what you want, so you're
- 7:26Speaker 1: going to be disappointed. That reflects the complicated and unpredictable
- 7:30Speaker 1: fallout from the Epstein saga, which has helped derail the
- 7:33Speaker 1: Republican congressional agenda and the opening year of Trump's second term.
- 7:38Speaker 1: It could also have implications for Comer's own political ambitions,
- 7:42Speaker 1: given his own belief that American minds might well be
- 7:45Speaker 1: impervious to his panel's conclusions. Like I said in the opening,
- 7:49Speaker 1: that's a them problem. I mean, at this point, nobody
- 7:52Speaker 1: trusts him, no matter the side of the aisle. And
- 7:55Speaker 1: for me, it doesn't matter who the president is. This
- 7:58Speaker 1: is the drum I'm banging no matter what, as you
- 8:00Speaker 1: all know. And that's because it's always meet the new boss,
- 8:03Speaker 1: same as the old boss. It never changes. I fear
- 8:08Speaker 1: the report will be like the Warren report, he said.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Nobody will ever believe it. Well, that's because it's going
- 8:14Speaker 1: to be unbelievable. You guys are hiding things. You won't
- 8:18Speaker 1: even give us the basics. you're out here pushing when
- 8:22Speaker 1: you should be pulling. You're out here arguing when you
- 8:26Speaker 1: should be getting together and commiserating on a plan. You're
- 8:30Speaker 1: out here running cover for the president when you should
- 8:32Speaker 1: be holding him accountable. So yeah, nobody believes you. Comer's
- 8:39Speaker 1: reference to the 64 report on the assassination of President
- 8:42Speaker 1: John F. Kennedy, led by Chief Justice Earl Warren, underscores
- 8:46Speaker 1: how the Epstein case has enthralled legions of skeptics who
- 8:50Speaker 1: say the federal government is intent on protecting powerful men
- 8:53Speaker 1: involved in the exploitation of young women and girls. And
- 8:57Speaker 1: all of us. See, that's the salacious part, right? And
- 9:00Speaker 1: that's the worst part, obviously. Preying on young girls and women.
- 9:05Speaker 1: But he was preying on everybody. They all were. The
- 9:08Speaker 1: whole entire operation was a complete slap in the face
- 9:11Speaker 1: to the American public. And they know that the American
- 9:14Speaker 1: public wouldn't stand for it. So they run this shit
- 9:17Speaker 1: off the books. You're not going to go in there
- 9:20Speaker 1: and find some handler who was running Epstein. That's not
- 9:23Speaker 1: how it works. This was a black operation. This was
- 9:26Speaker 1: one that was off the books being run by an intermediary.
- 9:29Speaker 1: And that intermediary was Jeffrey Epstein. That was one big
- 9:35Speaker 1: reason Comer said that he wasn't excited about doing the investigation. No,
- 9:39Speaker 1: you weren't excited because your boy, President Trump, doesn't want
- 9:42Speaker 1: you doing the investigation. Why are you lying again? Why
- 9:46Speaker 1: would anyone keep voting for these people? That's another question
- 9:49Speaker 1: I have. I mean, we complain all the time about
- 9:51Speaker 1: how fucked up politics are, but people keep voting for
- 9:54Speaker 1: these incumbents time and time again. What exactly has James
- 9:57Speaker 1: Comer ever done for you? There's so many conspiracy theories,
- 10:03Speaker 1: he said, leaving unspoken that his reputation and legacy are
- 10:06Speaker 1: now entwined with the case. So that should mean you'd
- 10:09Speaker 1: want to do the right thing, that you'd want to
- 10:12Speaker 1: step up and hold everybody accountable, even if that means
- 10:15Speaker 1: going after your buddy, President Trump. That's a shift from
- 10:20Speaker 1: where Comer staked his political brand a year ago as
- 10:23Speaker 1: the top GOP investigator of Joe Biden, but his two-year
- 10:26Speaker 1: effort to undermine the sitting president produced uneven results. With
- 10:31Speaker 1: his impeachment probe focusing on Biden family business dealings never
- 10:35Speaker 1: coming to a vote and his investigation into the former
- 10:38Speaker 1: president's alleged mental decline failing to deliver any bombshells. Bro,
- 10:43Speaker 1: Biden was obviously in mental decline. You couldn't even come
- 10:47Speaker 1: up with a report that showed that? But yeah, you're
- 10:49Speaker 1: going to break the whole entire Jeffrey Epstein story wide open,
- 10:53Speaker 1: and we should trust you. Please take all the seats
- 10:56Speaker 1: in the back row and shut up. And another tell,
- 11:00Speaker 1: by the way, is that Thomas Massey thought he had
- 11:02Speaker 1: to get the petition going because he didn't trust what
- 11:04Speaker 1: was going on with Comer. That's what that means. So
- 11:08Speaker 1: as he eyes a 2027 run for Kentucky governor with
- 11:12Speaker 1: his relationship with Trump likely to be essential to his prospects,
- 11:16Speaker 1: it's the Epstein investigation that could determine whether Comer's future
- 11:19Speaker 1: in politics. That's what it's all about. Keep that in mind.
- 11:24Speaker 1: It's not about justice. It's not about the survivors. It's
- 11:27Speaker 1: not about you or me. It's about Comer and his
- 11:30Speaker 1: political career. Oh, I want to be the governor, so
- 11:33Speaker 1: I better dance to Trump's tune. Well, I think that's
- 11:36Speaker 1: a big mistake. And I think that moving forward, Trump's
- 11:40Speaker 1: endorsement is not going to be what it used to
- 11:42Speaker 1: be within the conservative circles. And I think that veneer
- 11:46Speaker 1: of invulnerability within the Republican Party has now been ripped off.
- 11:52Speaker 1: When you get mollywhopped 427 to 1 in a vote
- 11:56Speaker 1: that you didn't want to take place, I'd say that
- 11:58Speaker 1: your grip on power is certainly slipping. Remember, it was
- 12:02Speaker 1: ironclad previously. Now, though, people are starting to question what
- 12:06Speaker 1: the fuck this guy's covering up. And I don't just
- 12:09Speaker 1: mean regular people like us. I'm talking about people in
- 12:12Speaker 1: the party. I've had some staunch ass conservatives hit me
- 12:16Speaker 1: up recently talking about this and about how dismayed and
- 12:20Speaker 1: disgusted they are by the actions of the administration. So
- 12:24Speaker 1: if you think that it's just common people in independence
- 12:27Speaker 1: and people on the left or whatever that are pissed off,
- 12:30Speaker 1: think again. Everybody's mad. The only people that aren't mad
- 12:34Speaker 1: are the people that are deep into their ideology, right?
- 12:38Speaker 1: When you're a demagogue, you're a demagogue. When you retreat
- 12:41Speaker 1: to that bunker, like I was saying with Hitler, you're
- 12:43Speaker 1: not expecting to leave. It's all guns blazing at this point,
- 12:47Speaker 1: and they've all retreated to the bunker with their boy Trump.
- 12:50Speaker 1: And look, I understand loyalty, right? But blind loyalty to
- 12:53Speaker 1: somebody that's obviously engaging in an act of cover-up? Of
- 12:58Speaker 1: something that is so dastardly, so heinous? How can you
- 13:02Speaker 1: support it? For months, House GOP leadership touted the oversight
- 13:06Speaker 1: probe as proof that Republicans were taking the Epstein case seriously.
- 13:10Speaker 1: even as they fought efforts from within their own ranks
- 13:13Speaker 1: to advance legislation that would force a complete release of
- 13:16Speaker 1: the DOJ investigative files. In a twist last week, Trump
- 13:20Speaker 1: gave up fighting the bill's inevitable passage, signing the measure
- 13:24Speaker 1: into law shortly after Congress approved it with just one dissenter.
- 13:29Speaker 1: He did that shit kicking and screaming. He didn't want
- 13:32Speaker 1: to sign it. He didn't want to have anything to
- 13:34Speaker 1: do with this stuff being released. Well, here we are.
- 13:37Speaker 1: And a lot of that has to do with you.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Let's be real. The pressure campaign that you folks have
- 13:42Speaker 1: been putting on? Very impressive. And I have to tell you,
- 13:45Speaker 1: I'm honestly shocked. Usually it doesn't work, but the pressure
- 13:50Speaker 1: has been so severe and from so many different corners
- 13:53Speaker 1: that they had to take it seriously. And that's all
- 13:56Speaker 1: because of you folks not giving up, not letting go
- 13:58Speaker 1: of this bone. And I definitely tip my hat to
- 14:01Speaker 1: everybody who is spending their time daily and who keeps
- 14:05Speaker 1: demanding transparency and justice. Because it certainly is an exhausting fight,
- 14:10Speaker 1: and I'm sure the vast majority of you would rather
- 14:12Speaker 1: be doing something else with your time. But unfortunately, this
- 14:17Speaker 1: is the fate we were served up, right? These are
- 14:20Speaker 1: the times. This is the issue that's staring us in
- 14:23Speaker 1: the face. And we have two choices. Either we accept
- 14:28Speaker 1: what they're doing, or we continue to fight. And from
- 14:31Speaker 1: what I've seen recently, pretty sure that nobody's going to
- 14:35Speaker 1: go quietly into the night. and that the flags of
- 14:38Speaker 1: discontent are gonna keep flying. The administration now has fewer
- 14:43Speaker 1: than 30 days to make materials available to the public,
- 14:46Speaker 1: with redactions to protect victims' names and respect ongoing criminal investigations. Meanwhile,
- 14:52Speaker 1: Comer must find a way to shepherd his committee's investigation
- 14:56Speaker 1: to some conclusion. I'm sure it's gonna be one that's
- 14:59Speaker 1: favorable to the president, right? Isn't that the whole entire goal?
- 15:04Speaker 1: Isn't that why they were so mad about the discharge petition?
- 15:08Speaker 1: Asked what the logical endpoint of his probe would be,
- 15:10Speaker 1: Comer was not quite sure. He said that he remains
- 15:13Speaker 1: hopeful that bank records that he has subpoenaed will turn
- 15:16Speaker 1: up something notable. The chair recently demanded Epstein-related records from
- 15:20Speaker 1: JPMorgan Chase and Deutsche Bank and asked the Attorney General
- 15:24Speaker 1: for the U.S. Virgin Islands, whose jurisdiction includes the two
- 15:28Speaker 1: private islands that Epstein owned, for additional materials. No talk
- 15:32Speaker 1: about the co-conspirators. No Darren Indyke. No Richard Kahn. No
- 15:36Speaker 1: Sarah Kellan Vickers. No Leslie Groff, no Adriana Ross, no
- 15:41Speaker 1: Nadia Marcinkova. None of them. So what are they actually
- 15:46Speaker 1: doing here? Oh, let me get some bank records. We've
- 15:48Speaker 1: seen them all already. We've seen a lot of this
- 15:51Speaker 1: bank stuff when it comes to the USVI and the
- 15:53Speaker 1: lawsuit they had going on. So unless you have a
- 15:57Speaker 1: brand new investigation, what does he think he's going to unearth?
- 16:01Speaker 1: He's trying to pull your leg. That's what he's doing.
- 16:03Speaker 1: And that's why nobody believes you, Mr. Comer, because you're
- 16:06Speaker 1: BSing us. Comer warned of various obstacles. Many of the
- 16:10Speaker 1: crimes occurred decades ago, and evidence will be difficult to find.
- 16:14Speaker 1: The key witness, Epstein, killed himself, allegedly, behind bars in 2019,
- 16:19Speaker 1: while Glenn Maxwell, Epstein's longtime co-conspirator, now serving a 20-year
- 16:24Speaker 1: sentence for her part in the sex trafficking crimes, has
- 16:27Speaker 1: said she will not cooperate with the House Oversight Committee. Well,
- 16:30Speaker 1: I wonder why. She can't leave the party there, right?
- 16:33Speaker 1: She can't leave the dance. Her little lame-ass lawyer, Oscar Macas...
- 16:38Speaker 1: Can't be the one in charge, so she has no
- 16:40Speaker 1: desire to speak to the committee. What she was looking
- 16:42Speaker 1: to do was jerk Trump off. Oh, let me give
- 16:45Speaker 1: Trump a quick reach around here, and maybe he's going
- 16:47Speaker 1: to commute my sentence. They really think we're stupid. That's
- 16:52Speaker 1: the problem. They think all of us are just going
- 16:55Speaker 1: to go along with their bullshit. Well, guess what? We're
- 16:58Speaker 1: not going along with it. It's an effort to try
- 17:02Speaker 1: to satisfy calls on both sides of the aisle for
- 17:05Speaker 1: some kind of list, Comer said. He has tasked Democratic
- 17:09Speaker 1: and Republican women on the Oversight Committee to meet privately
- 17:12Speaker 1: with victims to try to learn the identities of people
- 17:15Speaker 1: complicit in Epstein's criminal activities. I just gave you six
- 17:20Speaker 1: people that were complicit, most of them named by judges
- 17:24Speaker 1: during trials. But sure, let's talk about bullshit. If there
- 17:29Speaker 1: is no Epstein list and the American people expect us
- 17:32Speaker 1: to compose an Epstein list, if we don't get any
- 17:34Speaker 1: names from the victims, it's going to be hard to do,
- 17:37Speaker 1: he said. I've already given plenty of names. The problem is,
- 17:41Speaker 1: like I said previously, it's not the names they want.
- 17:45Speaker 1: Jennifer Freeman, an attorney representing some of Epstein's accusers, warned
- 17:49Speaker 1: that Comer's strategy could put the women at risk. Why
- 17:52Speaker 1: are we putting the burden on them, she said in
- 17:54Speaker 1: an interview. But the most significant challenge Comer faces is
- 17:59Speaker 1: managing the political fallout for Trump and the GOP writ large.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Imagine that's the biggest problem. And here it is in
- 18:06Speaker 1: a nutshell. That is the biggest problem. that that's what
- 18:09Speaker 1: he's worried about. Nobody gives a fuck about your stupid
- 18:12Speaker 1: GOP party. How about caring about the country for once?
- 18:15Speaker 1: I thought you were America first. Make America great again. Yeah, well,
- 18:19Speaker 1: if this is making America great again, count me the
- 18:22Speaker 1: fuck out. Comer's targeting of the Epstein estate uncovered materials
- 18:28Speaker 1: that connect the president to the late financier, but Comer
- 18:31Speaker 1: has continued to downplay the significance of the revelations and
- 18:35Speaker 1: insists they show no signs of wrongdoing. Well, besides the relationship,
- 18:40Speaker 1: that's wrong in itself. All these people out here that
- 18:43Speaker 1: keep saying, oh, well, there's no wrongdoing. Bitch, associating with
- 18:47Speaker 1: this man is enough. Enabling him, giving him that veneer,
- 18:51Speaker 1: giving him that respectability. And for Trump, things are even worse.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Not because I think he was diddling kids or, you know,
- 18:58Speaker 1: assaulting people. We haven't seen that evidence. What I have seen, though,
- 19:03Speaker 1: is evidence of a cover-up that's happening right now in
- 19:05Speaker 1: real time, right in front of my eyes. And if
- 19:08Speaker 1: you think I'm going back to sleep, you got another
- 19:10Speaker 1: thing coming. Democrats publicized widely the revelations in the birthday
- 19:17Speaker 1: book with a racy drawing and message allegedly penned by Trump.
- 19:21Speaker 1: They also blasted out a set of emails mentioning Trump,
- 19:25Speaker 1: including one in which Epstein said that Trump knew about
- 19:27Speaker 1: the girls. Again, damning as fuck, but nothing that can
- 19:32Speaker 1: get a conviction, right? Nothing that would even get him indicted.
- 19:36Speaker 1: But it's certainly damning. And it gives you a view
- 19:39Speaker 1: of what was really going on here. Now, they'll say, well,
- 19:42Speaker 1: Trump knew about the girls, meaning the other girls that
- 19:44Speaker 1: were around, not the underage ones. But I'll leave it
- 19:47Speaker 1: up to you to decide if you believe him. Comer
- 19:52Speaker 1: rejects the narrative that his investigation has been damaging for
- 19:55Speaker 1: Trump and blamed his panel's minority for disregarding committee norms
- 19:59Speaker 1: and selectively releasing certain information the panel had received. Speaking
- 20:04Speaker 1: with reporters last week, Comer called the Oversight Committee's top Democrat,
- 20:08Speaker 1: Representative Robert Garcia of California, dishonest and awful, among other
- 20:13Speaker 1: personal attacks. And that's wild, huh? Robert Garcia can be attacked,
- 20:19Speaker 1: but Epstein's people, those are sacred people. We can't go
- 20:22Speaker 1: after them. I'm done with Garcia criticizing me. He played
- 20:27Speaker 1: the gay card, Comer said. He just needs to do
- 20:29Speaker 1: TikTok videos or something. He's not a serious investigator. He's
- 20:33Speaker 1: like a TikTok video kind of guy. Look, I don't
- 20:35Speaker 1: know much about Mr. Garcia, but I'm sure he's another
- 20:40Speaker 1: performative jerk-off. All of them are. And this is what
- 20:43Speaker 1: people don't want to understand or wrap their mind around.
- 20:46Speaker 1: None of these politicians care about you. They'd much rather
- 20:50Speaker 1: make social media content than actually get to the bottom
- 20:53Speaker 1: of our problems. And don't even get me started on
- 20:56Speaker 1: the whole entire Maha. Forget that shit too. A bunch
- 20:59Speaker 1: of BS. Bunch of lies. What exactly are they doing
- 21:03Speaker 1: to tackle the addiction problem? Oh sure, let's blow up
- 21:07Speaker 1: some boats. Let's keep the war on drugs going as
- 21:09Speaker 1: we ignore the real problem, which is addiction right here
- 21:12Speaker 1: in our own country. Comer said that Garcia had limited
- 21:15Speaker 1: abilities to begin with, but he's burned his bridges with this.
- 21:20Speaker 1: A spokesperson for Comer said the gay card comment referred
- 21:23Speaker 1: to a September incident where Garcia invoked a sexuality after
- 21:27Speaker 1: Comer called him a drama queen to reporters. Garcia, who
- 21:30Speaker 1: is gay, said in an interview it was clear that
- 21:33Speaker 1: Chairman Comer and the committee Republicans had been outworked and
- 21:37Speaker 1: outmaneuvered and he's clearly upset and he's panicking that we
- 21:40Speaker 1: have been fighting every single day to release these files.
- 21:44Speaker 1: They've tried to bend the knee to Trump and cover
- 21:46Speaker 1: up and be part of the White House cover-up. And look,
- 21:49Speaker 1: I don't disagree with any of that, but come on, Mr. Garcia,
- 21:52Speaker 1: where have you been for all these years? You're just
- 21:54Speaker 1: another Johnny-come-lately. Don't try and take ownership of this, like
- 21:58Speaker 1: you and your colleagues are doing something great here. You're
- 22:01Speaker 1: riding the coattails of the people. You're riding the coattails
- 22:04Speaker 1: of the survivors. So you can save the whole Superman
- 22:07Speaker 1: crap for somebody else. We all know who you are,
- 22:09Speaker 1: and we know what all your colleagues are as well.
- 22:11Speaker 1: You won't even hold Stacey Plaskett accountable, but you're out
- 22:14Speaker 1: here running your mouth about other things? Please take five
- 22:17Speaker 1: steps back. If Trump is displeased with Comer's handling of
- 22:22Speaker 1: the Epstein investigation, he hasn't said so publicly. And there
- 22:26Speaker 1: aren't apparent rumblings inside the administration about friction. The president
- 22:31Speaker 1: likes James Comer a lot. A senior White House official
- 22:34Speaker 1: who was granted anonymity to share a private conversation said,
- 22:38Speaker 1: In fact, I spoke with Trump recently about Comer and
- 22:40Speaker 1: he said he's always been good with him all the way.
- 22:44Speaker 1: There's no problems there. Yeah, for now. Let things go
- 22:47Speaker 1: south even a little bit. When it comes to these files,
- 22:50Speaker 1: and watch how quick Trump abandons Comer too. For Comer,
- 22:56Speaker 1: there is another reason to endear himself to the president
- 22:59Speaker 1: with this investigation. He's eyeing a bid to succeed Governor
- 23:02Speaker 1: Andy Beshear in a state where Trump's endorsement could have
- 23:05Speaker 1: significant influence. Comer said in the interview people were encouraging
- 23:10Speaker 1: him to run, and he has been traveling statewide ahead
- 23:13Speaker 1: of the potential race. He suspects Epstein will not be
- 23:16Speaker 1: a major issue in the campaign. But his frequent TV
- 23:19Speaker 1: hits discussing his investigative work have given him the opportunity
- 23:24Speaker 1: to speak to Kentucky voters, he noted. It's all about themselves.
- 23:29Speaker 1: It's all about self, isn't it? It's all about the
- 23:32Speaker 1: next gig. Oh, I don't want to be a congressman anymore.
- 23:35Speaker 1: I'm going to become a mayor. I'm going to become
- 23:37Speaker 1: a governor. Here's an idea. Why don't I become a
- 23:40Speaker 1: fucking fry chef? You might be good at that. Because
- 23:43Speaker 1: this politics stuff, you're not very good at it, Mr. Comer.
- 23:49Speaker 1: He said he has not spoken to the White House
- 23:51Speaker 1: about the Epstein probe. And when asked how he suspects
- 23:54Speaker 1: Trump views the probe, Comer said, I don't want to know, probably. Aw,
- 23:58Speaker 1: he doesn't want to know, probably. What a coward. And really,
- 24:02Speaker 1: that's all of them in a nutshell. But Mr. Comer
- 24:05Speaker 1: over here isn't going to give us the truth. And
- 24:08Speaker 1: then at the same time, he has the audacity to
- 24:10Speaker 1: blame you and I for daring to ask for it.
- 24:14Speaker 1: So here it is, James. Nobody believes you. Because you
- 24:17Speaker 1: earn that disbelief the same way a con artist earns handcuffs.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Through repetition and arrogance. You stand there with your crocodile
- 24:25Speaker 1: tears and your trembling voice acting like the victim of
- 24:29Speaker 1: some national misunderstanding. When really you're just pissed that the
- 24:32Speaker 1: American people finally stopped being your audience and started being
- 24:36Speaker 1: your judge. You're not a truth teller. You're a political
- 24:39Speaker 1: mall cop with a plastic badge screaming about authority while
- 24:42Speaker 1: the real criminals sprint out the emergency exit. You're mad
- 24:45Speaker 1: that the lights came on and everybody saw the strings
- 24:48Speaker 1: hanging off the puppet show you've been running for years.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Every time you promise justice and deliver dust, you dig
- 24:55Speaker 1: your own credibility grave a little deeper. Every time you
- 24:58Speaker 1: pretend to fight for accountability and instead take a quiet
- 25:01Speaker 1: nap on the job, you bury yourself another foot. And
- 25:04Speaker 1: now that the coffin lid is shut tight, you're pounding
- 25:07Speaker 1: from the inside, begging us to believe you? Nope, not
- 25:10Speaker 1: gonna do it. Because at the end of the day,
- 25:13Speaker 1: the real reason nobody trusts James Comer, Congress, or any
- 25:16Speaker 1: of the political parasites sucking the bloodstream of this country
- 25:19Speaker 1: dry isn't because we're irrational. It's because we're awake. We've
- 25:23Speaker 1: watched you protect elites while lecturing the public. We've watched
- 25:27Speaker 1: you bury the truth while claiming transparency. We've watched the
- 25:30Speaker 1: powerful skate every single time while you take victory laps
- 25:34Speaker 1: for nothing. And now you want to cry that the
- 25:36Speaker 1: public lost faith? That's like a serial cheater weeping that
- 25:40Speaker 1: his wife changed the locks. You did that, champ. You
- 25:43Speaker 1: earned every ounce of this contempt. So take your report,
- 25:47Speaker 1: print it on gold leaf, wrap it in a velvet ribbon,
- 25:50Speaker 1: and parade it around like the Holy Grail. It won't
- 25:52Speaker 1: change a damn thing. The era of blindly worshipping politicians
- 25:56Speaker 1: is dead, cremated, and scattered over the Potomac. We don't
- 26:00Speaker 1: need another committee, another binder, another photo op, another speech,
- 26:05Speaker 1: another investigative orgasm that ends with no climax. We need results.
- 26:09Speaker 1: We need consequences. We need heads on pikes. Legally, publicly, relentlessly.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Until then, you're just another dude in a cheap suit
- 26:18Speaker 1: trying to sell a broken product to a country that
- 26:20Speaker 1: finally learned to say no. Why don't you put that
- 26:23Speaker 1: in your report, James? All of the information that goes
