Uh... [laughs] Hey, everybody. It's- Yeah... Full Spectrum Cycling Podcast goodness. Show number 186 today. So 186 on the mother...
• 0:19
Wait, no, that was last week. Last week, two. [laughs] Oh, boy. Sure. Yeah, why not? Hey, a little weather there on Wednesday this week. Whoa, yeah, and then you got sunburned later in, in the day. That was crazy.
• 0:34
After you left, after you left the basement. Oh, hey. Did you go down in your basement? No, I just opened the doors and... What? I was excited. [laughs] I go, and it was like, man, I want to see a funnel cloud.
• 0:45
Let the, let the pressure- You've never seen one. Yeah, I know. Well, apparently there were some that were trying to make it down. Trying. Trying. Trying to make it down in the area.
• 0:53
There was one in Brown Deer, which isn't- That's fine. That's Brown Deer... that's closer than Sun Prairie is to Madison. Somebody said there was one- Maybe. [laughs] Somebody said there was one in River West.
• 1:02
No, maybe- That was bullshit... straight line winds maybe. It was only a 15-minute episode, but- Yeah, saying... I'm just saying what people have s- said. I don't- No. No. He doesn't do River West. No.
• 1:16
That's why he probably would. Probably would. Yeah, we got, uh, my son said, "Oh, we're in the basement at..."
• 1:21
He's at, at his high school, and my wife sent pictures of her kids cowering in their little cubbies out in the hallway, and my daughter was working downtown, and they had a group of kids for a theater performance, and they were all in this...
• 1:33
It looked like a scary basement in one of those old buildings on, on like, uh, Walker's Point area. You're like- You get that. Yeah.
• 1:41
So- I got, I immediately got emails from Sherwood High School and the JCC as the kids were in the basement. I- Okay. I just- I'm on the second floor of my office. There's a meeting...
• 1:51
the closest that it's ever gotten to where I live in Milwaukee is, was 22 years ago when it was near the airport- Right... at the very edge of Milwaukee County, so- Yeah. I don't know.
• 2:02
The Brown, the Brown Deer one's closer now though really than the airport. As being a f- Yeah. As being a floor captain of, uh, the floor of building in which I am an employee at, huh, guess what? I got home [laughs]
• 2:15
right before the tornado warning, watch, or anything came in, and I'm just like, "Oh." [laughs] You're, you're, you're a floor captain? Is that- Yeah. [laughs] I'm like, "I'm at home. You dumbasses are..."
• 2:26
Did I hear, rumor that on Wednesday you also did not go to the Swinging Door and instead opted for... Eh? Oh, yeah. A curd burger. Yeah. A curd burger. Curd burger. It's a curd burger. It's not just curd burger.
• 2:42
It's a curd burger. Ugh. Okay. It's even more fun to say. Where is this from? Uh, the Culvers. Oh. You know, the regional chain of everybody has a, "Oh, my God." And it is tasty, and it is what, whatever.
• 2:59
You know, it's something to, to grab, and you don't want to make a habit of it. I did take a nap like immediately after I ate that. I bet. [laughs] Me too. It was one of, one of those- Cheese curds and beef, man.
• 3:09
That- Yeah, and I mean, it looked very simple because- Like, I got a bun... a bun is what do it for me. Yeah. It was like- Bun and custard... bun, lettuce, burger, cheese, freaking cheese curd.
• 3:21
I took, uh, normally mayo and tomato, but I don't like those things, so get out of here. Yeah. And, uh, boom, and just that, just
• 3:31
knocked me out 'cause I, I started watching Andor, and then I was like, "No, I'm falling asleep. Oh, no." [laughs] I actually want to pay attention to this thing.
• 3:39
Yeah, that one I might have to watch again because it was kind of background noise the first time through. Yeah. It was okay though. I... So far so good. There's one more that I haven't seen yet. [laughs] Oh. Yeah.
• 3:49
A long, long weekend of fun. [laughs] Yes, it was. My goodness. With thanks to Treski. Shout out to Treski for a great quick trip through, uh, from the Rave to the East Side.
• 4:01
Yeah, when we did it on the way back from, on Saturday night- Yeah... that was... That's an interesting route. I- Yeah. I- I, I'm not sure what those neighborhoods are like actually. I know.
• 4:12
We never go through, and it was so quiet. I mean, how many times did we get passed? In a car, like twice maybe. Maybe? From 24th- At least. And then-... and Wisconsin to the East Side?
• 4:24
I feel like those might turn into drag strips for the Kia boys or something at some point. Look, at some point, but for now let's ride them. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It... Yeah.
• 4:31
I will- It's the easiest way across the freeway ever. True. Oh, yeah. Lloyd has always been that way. Brown. With Brown, whatever. Lloyd, Brown, and they're all the same. They're all the same. Yeah. It is what it is.
• 4:42
Yeah. [laughs] I mean, hey, I know- It's all the same... I, I, I just use the forest when I'm kind of in that zone. It's like, "No, I, I know it's the one here. It's the one down from there." Yeah. Da, da, da, da, da.
• 4:52
Still, both shows were highly entertaining. I was- In completely different ways. Yeah. I was KMFDM I was like, "Oh, uh." That was like, "Yeah, it's better than I was expecting." I was better than I was expecting.
• 5:04
Absolutely. Yeah. But, uh, I, I can- I wanted way better than this for real. [laughs] I wanted, I wanted... Again, Corey Feldman. You know what I mean? Um [laughs] Way better. Oh, I love, I love- You have to- I love...
• 5:20
God, I do when they play, they play the da, da, da, da, da, da. They opened for Ministry and, uh, Nine Inch Nails just recently at like the whatever super show,
• 5:32
and I looked at some of the photos, and I'm like, "Damn, dude." Are you a joke? Well, I mean, his getup, he still looks like- Corey Feldman... him and Corey Feldman could pass, you know? Absolutely.
• 5:44
So yeah, that still gets me. [laughs] Yeah, I think... I don't know. And, you know, then Saturday night was the Reverend Horton Heat and Toadies and- Yeah, we missed- What did we miss? We missed the Pussy.
• 5:55
We missed- We did... Nashville. That's from- I'm sorry, but I- Seemed to have a problem with that venue and that was it. And you guys were audience of it.
• 6:05
I happen to be-- My daughter seems to think she's getting a car for her birthday, but- Ha. So I've been keeping an eye on, on Craigslist. Not that I'm gonna buy her one because cars are stupid right now.
• 6:16
Is she gonna be sixteen or seventeen? Seventeen. Guess what was listed? No car for you? Guess what was listed? No. Rabbit. Galaxy Bethesda. Oh. [laughs] Ah, yeah. That was a pleasant, unharmed surprise.
• 6:28
That would be a good-- That'd be a good first car for a sixteen, seventeen-year-old kid. Was it a three fifty-one Windsor in it? Maybe a sixty-eight notch Polara.
• 6:36
Something that could just go through, you know, school buses at will. Was it a nineteen seventy-three? One. [laughs] Yeah. I bid my- Good shows. Good stuff.
• 6:48
That was at, yeah- You probably wanted it first, but it's on air condition. [laughs] On my bucket list to see, and I was stoked. He-- I think he, he killed it. Yeah. Oh, he does a great job on his guitar.
• 6:59
And then it got so bad playing for middle. Because then we didn't have to see the whole Toady show. We can get our asses out of there. But we did see the whole Toady show. We saw a lot more than we wanted. Yeah.
• 7:08
Yeah, yeah. Well, I mean, they had-- They, they, they did their encore in the front. True. Because they knew people are gonna peel after Possum Kingdom. Mm-hmm. Which we did. Um, [laughs] I mean, shit, whatever, man.
• 7:24
I was surprised how many people left after the rep. Uh, I was- Well, and how many people c-cascaded for Toadies. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. That also.
• 7:34
There were, yeah, there were de-- I've, I've been to b- uh, shows like that where, you know, there's people like, "Oh, I'm not going. I'm just gonna hang out in the smoking lounge." Six Season and Wheezer. Yeah.
• 7:43
Uh- That show was unbelievable... the, uh, what, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club was the, like, headliner. Opening was Red Fang, which is awesome.
• 7:53
So I'm there for Red Fang, and then Corrosion of Conformity, and then these guys are like, "I'm just here for, uh, for Zach, for Zach." And he's like, "Tip dumb, dude."
• 8:03
And well, if I stuck around just to see the foolishness, and then I'm like, "Oh, I have to get the hell out of here." There's-- That's when, like, mosh pits become not friendly.
• 8:13
[laughs] Just because there was only-- I only saw three bikes there. Yeah. Not ours. Yeah. [laughs] Hey. Well, and it works out. I mean, for the, the basement shows, which actually have, like, the best sound. Oh, yeah.
• 8:28
Bringing it all back to biking. We biked there. Yeah. Um. We rode our bikes to the venue. That's why we're blethering about it. [laughs] I did it two nights in a row. Yes, and I applaud you on that.
• 8:37
And thank you for, uh, showing us where to park the bikes because- Yeah... it was, it was like that place didn't really have bike parking very well. Mm-hmm. No.
• 8:43
And it was sort of in the middle of an area you'd be like, "I hope my bike is visible." Well, normally, when there are shows in the smoking lounge is the penthouse, uh, top floor, the fourth floor. Um,
• 8:57
I try to keep, like, lock it in line of sight down there, and it's like, "I have it where I can see you from here." Well. You know? Someone steals it, and you're never gonna catch them. Yeah.
• 9:05
It's like you're gonna jump four or five stories down to grab them. [laughs] Yelling. All right. Stop, thief, stop. Stop. Stop, thief. Yes, I'll throw it all. I don't know.
• 9:14
And by the way, was it not funny that the, uh, the two police officers that were there for The Rave left their car idle and sat in it the entire time we were watching the show?
• 9:21
Maybe they had the AC on, even though- Probably... it's fifty degrees outside. Gorgeous. Oh, the, you know, the tree? That, like, seven footer? Yeah. You know? Yeah. Oh, it's nice. I mean, they- And then walk back.
• 9:32
And I noticed that both nights, like, the cops did have a presence down there, which, hey, that'll play. That's more on the bike lodge. Mm-hmm.
• 9:41
But it's just inconvenient for the smoking lounge because you have to go back through TSA and no matter what, and da, da, da, da. So you have to re-crotch things and nonsense and da, da, da.
• 9:52
And with the cops, I was like, "Not you. You understand where I'm going." I, I know where you're going. [laughs] So any, any, uh, news on-- Oh, wait. Oh, wait. What's coming up tomorrow night? Oh, what's that?
• 10:05
Both beers. Well, yeah. And- After the show, we'll talk about future beer tests. And don't tell us. We, we recapped the past. Now we can have a beer and talk about the future.
• 10:17
Pretty sure that we've had this in the past, but if I remember right, it's pretty decent. Yes, it was part of a- For sure... it was part of a combo pack a few passes. Hop Valley Bubble Stash with Cryo Hops.
• 10:31
I'm not sure what that means. Are they super frozen or something? Chilly Willy. They're in Eugene, Oregon. Mosaic, Oregon. Sure. It is a registered trademark of Yakima Chief Hops Incorporated. Yakima. Used.
• 10:48
Yakima Valley Chief Hops. They're flowy. If you say, if you say Yakima- Don't they make, don't they make Yakima bike racks? Or do you call them Yakima? Whoa. They're flowy.
• 11:04
Our stash of Mosaic Cryo Hops brings a blend of fruity, tropical hoppers and a touch of resin to this new age IPA. You won't want to pass this one by.
• 11:21
It's gonna bubble all up on you here. Yeah. That's why you do it. Give it a whack job. Gotta do it cleverly here. Shotgun that baby, brah. It's got six point two ABV and a hundred and forty-five IBUs.
• 11:36
Look at that, clean as a whistle. That's us. You had practice earlier. Oh my God, but I'm, like, full, I'm full of bubbles. Yeah. [laughs] Somewhat fruity. It's very cold. Maybe it was just coming off- Cryo hopped...
• 11:47
frozen. See? Yes. Yeah. I guess. There's nothing about that. But it is fruity. Pretty, pretty fruity. Fruity. Pretty delicious. Speaking of fruity, there's one stinking- Fruit fly...
• 11:58
fruit fly flying around in here still. Come, come, come and get them. I thought it was chilly enough in the shop to kind of get those guys to hibernate or something. Come and- Go hibernate, buddy. Buddy.
• 12:10
Why not salary pants? It's right there. I got 'em. I got... That's the good thing about the white room. With black lights. Yeah. Oh, he got it all over. Yeah. He got Tito. Woo-hoo-hoo. Didn't even need chopsticks.
• 12:27
Feeling good. Right on. Hop Valley Bubble Stache, folks. [laughs] Probably in your local cooler. Allows you to catch comes all the way from Oregon. All right, so now future, future bike stuff.
• 12:39
What's happening up, uh- Future... is that tomorrow already, Biketoberfest? Tomorrow, yes. We're gonna roll out. Well, thankfully it's a Saturday. I, I do recall, I thought there were times where these would be...
• 12:50
No, maybe they weren't. They were Fridays sometimes. Something... I thought they were sometimes Fridays. Not, not... I don't think Biketoberfest. That was more like- Man, Tour de Fars and two- I don't know... roll-ups.
• 13:00
I don't know. I, I don't think... It, it alternated at times. Whatever. It's r- well, or it, it piggybacked with, like, the Tweed Ride or some other ride that was going on that day. Right. Oh, I could do it during the
• 13:12
day. [laughs] Close. The pirate ride, that one ride that we did. That hasn't happened for a few years. That happened the once. No, the one time. Yeah. That was a good ride. It was interesting. Yeah. I have a pirate...
• 13:25
I still have a pirate. It was interesting. It was, it was a, it was a good ride for, but they just, they figured a different... [laughs] Like, I ran into them, like, a year later.
• 13:34
They're like, "Um, well, we talked to the people, and they just kind of wanted to go in the bars. They didn't really want to [laughs] ride the bikes." I was like, "Okay, then you got a different mindset there than me."
• 13:44
Sure, sure. Um, yeah, and good on you. And whatever. So yeah. Actually, there is a picture of today that would've been today with the, uh, Bronc. And he did go on the, on the, uh, pirate ride.
• 13:56
The one time we both biked with Bronc. One, one, one of the, one of the fine, one was, like, only times we got that guy on a goddamn ride. Right. So that's tomorrow. Clementine, 6:30. Bay View, Wisconsin. Dance party.
• 14:08
I'm already curating my own local- If you really wanna learn more about it, why not just listen to last week's show? Yeah. 'Cause Bike Cracky Billy was a good [laughs] guest. He's a great guest. Kind of had fun.
• 14:19
Uh, went long. We went almost an hour 'cause it... Why stop him when he's on a roll? Yeah. Depending on how I look at it. So make sure you check that out. It's on fullspectrumcycling.com.
• 14:30
You could probably find it under- And other- Show number 185... and other, uh, and other, uh, social media humans that you know may have put that out in the world. I- Did they?
• 14:43
We'll have to see if it got more than our normal eight or 10 listeners. [laughs] His, uh, his, uh, partner at Ashlar already posted the poster. Oh, well, for Bike- On Facebook... for Biketoberfest? Yeah, dance party.
• 14:55
I'm go- [laughs] Oh, I'm going, I'm going like, "Well, okay, that'll... It's kind of like that, like, game on." I, I sent Bill a note- That's funny...
• 15:01
that the show was posted, and he goes, he goes, "Are the servers down?" I'm like, "No, I, I can, I can get the show." And he goes, "No, I mean, 'cause so many people are listening to it." I go, "Doh."
• 15:11
I went right over my [laughs] Don't doubt, dude. Oh, dude, his- I got it right away. [laughs] Yeah, no, I know. Well- Dude is, dude, his, his, his texts are always cryptic. Yep.
• 15:20
There's always a, like, three, two to three layers. They're always playing five dimensional chess. I, I didn't count that high.
• 15:25
[laughs] So I'd, I'll maybe get a picture of it before we post the show, but I went by his house on Saturday morning and picked up the,
• 15:33
uh, Mark Winter made, uh, what they used as a T-shirt rack in their old shop, and he's been carting it around for 20 years- Oh... but it doesn't fit in the new shop [laughs] 'cause the ceilings are lower.
• 15:45
So he said, "Uh, it'd probably, that'd end up at your shop and somebody should see it." So Steven and I installed it today, and now it has bags. Bags. I did not see that on my internet.
• 15:55
It has, uh, it has your, uh, your backpacks and your, uh, frame bags and such hanging from it at this point of mine.
• 16:02
At some point it may have T-shirts on it, 'cause that's what it was made for, but it's, it fits perfectly in the shop just like it was made for it.
• 16:09
Matter of fact, I'd like to make another three of them or something because it's so cool. Nice. I don't know, Mark's, uh... I don't know if he's got any more. He, typically, he works with stuff that is lying around.
• 16:20
He's got a, his family has a farm out in Menomonee Falls, and they- Soybeans? No. Oh. It, it grows, um, iron and, and scrap metal somehow.
• 16:30
People just drive over there and they dump piles of scrap metal, and that's what he makes his art with. Hmm. But yeah, so it's awesome. And it- Aha...
• 16:38
and it, it has these things that stick out, but they have large, like, pool ball size and round things on them so you don't poke your eye out when you run into it and stuff. Yes. Very nice. I'll take a photo of that.
• 16:47
I... It's really cool. 'Cause we do have a couple other Mark Winter pieces in the building,
• 16:52
the WMSC, uh, uh, uh, thing from a year or two ago, and then our podcast table, which is still held hostage on the second floor- The elevator's still not working... 'cause the [laughs] elevator still doesn't work.
• 17:04
Holy shit, it's been months. That said, I did contact the... 'Cause it rained today, so, or whatever, Wednesday. It, whatever. It rained and, and it was raining inside the shop again.
• 17:15
And, uh, I contacted the, the main man, not, not our guy, but the main man that, for the whole complex. He was over here in five minutes and looking at it. That's, that's pretty quick.
• 17:26
So they're coming up with some ideas. Uh, you know, it'll be all right soon. Yeah. We'll be all right. Yeah, man. But when it's raining in the building and I- All you have to do is take-... don't have to buy upstairs...
• 17:36
man, you just take it light. The heavy can be handled, man. Right on, dude. All right. Uh, I think this was mentioned last week too, kind of at the end of the show. So if, if, um, if you didn't- [laughs]...
• 17:51
if you didn't listen to the entire show- We didn't know... uh, Pump- Pumpkin Pavilion at, uh, Humboldt Park. Oh, yeah. Is it already? It is, uh- Is it a multi- No, it's next weekend. Hmm. Yeah.
• 18:02
Yeah, it's- The multi night... yeah, it's Friday and Saturday, I think is the, the main one every time. Um, The Quills are playing one of the nights. What? Yeah. Really? Yeah, you gotta pay attention to these things.
• 18:11
Yeah. Oh, thank you. I don't know if- Have you seen The Quills live? No, no, don't think so. Oh, they're good. I have twice, and then I was- It's this... ac- I was a- I was accidentally, uh, drinking with them.
• 18:26
Button pushing? [laughs] At the punk rock, uh, rummage sale. I was like, just, "Oh, hey, blah, blah, blah," just- Not soon you realize you were- Whatever. No, then they're just like, "Oh, our band was playing."
• 18:37
I'm like, "Oh, really? What's your band?" "Oh, I don't know if you heard of The Quills. Like the eh, eh, eh, eh." I'm like, "No shit, I just saw you open for Lovely some couple weeks ago."
• 18:47
So that's, uh, that's at Humboldt Park down there on the south side. That's, that's worth it all by itself, let alone a lot of fun punking around. Yeah.
• 18:54
Well, there's, there's, uh- And they have like fire dancers and- If you're in the area and you're interested, there's three links in the show notes- It's very cool... that should get you all the info you need.
• 19:01
Bay View Neighbor- Is River doing fire dancing? Bay View Neighborhood. Sarah Joel. Bay Viewerhood. [laughs] Doubt it, because she lives out in Slinger now. Slinger? Yeah. She's not a girl you even know her.
• 19:13
Yeah, she's, she's kind of done with that. Maybe. Okay. I don't know. She's just sort of like lizard. Be out there. Is this, uh, do you know this Brick? Yeah. Okay. Sarah- Sarah Joel. Uh, yeah, check. Right on, right on.
• 19:28
I'm looking for a pumpkin pavilion, 'cause I know that there is another band that is worth- Yep, bayviewneighborhood.org, hauntedwisconsin.com or Facebook. Well, yeah. Find the Facebook page. Pumpkin Pavilion.
• 19:41
How many else, how many else you got in that pavilion? Do you got one or two in there? I think you only got one. I-L-I. Yeah. That's what I'm doing. Yeah. There is only one in it. It feels like there should be two.
• 19:53
I've never been. Me. That's the way I thought it. And I had- And then I, then it yelled at me and made a big blue line under it saying, "We corrected it for you there, dumbass." Oh, it's the Queens English.
• 20:02
[laughs] And that, uh, yeah, that- that's happening. And, and, and, and, and, and also- And bikes will be ridden down there for that. Too, too true. There will be a lot of bikes in attendance, I bet, I would imagine.
• 20:16
Uh, and like, well, I don't know what weather's like that far out, but still pretty nice out there here in Wisconsin now, notwithstanding tornadoes and whatnot. We're, uh, freezing next week though. Lows in the 20s.
• 20:29
Yeah, that's at night, though. Yeah. Later at night. Exactly. We're in that- Yes... yeah, we're in that like- That stage... right, whatever. Mid to high 60s- Mid... most of the day.
• 20:41
Overnight and into the morning, high 30s, low 40s. You have no idea- Perfect... how to dress- Yep... no matter what. Good stuff. Mm-hmm. Loving this one. I wonder if the weather- And speaking of
• 20:52
riding bikes to awesome shows also, uh, has a Rushmore tether to it. After the show, eh, next week, the week after, HR from Bad Brains. Oh, yes.
• 21:10
We like to call that a band Deadringer. Oh, yeah. I wanted to bring that up last week. You did. But... Did I? Yeah. Oh. You can bring it up again. I did. Well, I don't know. It was a- I think there was-... fog.
• 21:24
Kind of fog in that. Is it sold out? Hell no. No, no, no, no. But I'm just like, this is, yeah, this is definitely one that, yes, I'm, has to be made happen. 'Cause it's not like he's coming back here.
• 21:40
No, and it's also- You know what I mean? [laughs] It's also, as far as venues go, nice and close. Right. Sure, relatively. Yeah, yeah. And you know, small. Yeah. Well, well, and well, yeah. Yes.
• 21:52
Well, yes, we'll have to, um, you know, probably lock up outside the abortion clinic. Oh, no. And that's fine, because if you get a little bit closer- Abortion clinic...
• 22:03
well, if you get a little bit closer to the venue, oh, oh, the finger-wagging and the yelling from- Mr. Guest... everybody involved, even the fucking smokers outside will give you a fucking give a bout it. For what?
• 22:17
Having your bikes in front of the place? Yeah. Well. So. You can't- I mean, I've learned in a, I've learned enough lessons in my life and- Too many, too many jerkies involved in this... too many dicks on the dance.
• 22:28
Too many jerkies. I've seen a lot of PBMs at that abortion clinic. I don't know what that means. Plastic Virgin Marys. Oh. Where they bring them out and put them out in front to scare at you as you're protesting.
• 22:43
Can't, can I tell my Virgin Mary story? Of course. Not unless it has a bathtub surrounding it. [laughs] 'Cause that's the best shrine. You know who her dad was, right?
• 22:52
He was like the, the mayor of the town or the big cheese, and I'm pretty sure he just made the story up- Oh... 'cause she got- She got pregnant... couldn't happen any other way. Is that Boss Hogg? I like Boss Hogg.
• 23:04
I thought you said that, that the Virgin Mary is like the first excuse for a teenager getting pregnant. Somehow it happened. Yeah, I was just, I was just riding along and somehow. Somehow I got pregnant.
• 23:14
[laughs] Have no idea. Way to ruin it for the rest of us. No idea how it... Yeah. Anyway, uh, here's another thing coming up, and we'll probably have a lot more on it down the road, Global Fat Bike Day. Really?
• 23:25
Is that the same day as Rush Play? [laughs] I know it's the same day as, uh, Rampage normally. Yeah, usually it's Santa- The Rampage... you're right, Santa Rampage. December 3rd, which is true.
• 23:34
Again, Santa Rampage is now a 12-mile slog with cops leading it, so. Really? Well, it's a, it's a fund- it's a fundraiser for the bike fest, which is a fine, fine thing to do.
• 23:47
And I mean, I don't like- If the bike fest is doing any fine things anymore... going down for the meetup- And then just like, gonna crate for that long- Just crash... and then- Yes... you can crash often.
• 23:57
We crash- I crashed earlier today... on the Third Ward 24 bike. You, you- Oh, yeah, that was right, oh, that was right by, uh, Aurora. [laughs] Right by a hospital? You like crashing on these rides.
• 24:09
I, I, you know something? I don't like getting crashed onto. I've only crashed on Santa Rampage once. Doing too much. Yeah, that was, that was- I single track a freaking
• 24:23
extra cycle free radical with a five-foot Santa on the back of it. I remember him kind of- I do recall-... hanging off on the front rail a little bit too. That's true, man. Yeah, he was a little askew.
• 24:32
Well, I, I do recall that one, one year coming back from Bayview or Central, um- And then we were- Yeah... where if it was like two degrees cooler- It would have snowed...
• 24:45
it'd been beautiful and we were waiting and waiting. It didn't happen. Yes. And then [coughs] [laughs] I hope that snow doesn't scare him. No, then it just, it just ripping into, um [laughs]
• 24:55
the dude's going like, "We gotta stop." 'Cause it was just you guys. I kept going. Yeah. And they're like, "I can't stop. I have to get this [laughs] shit off." That was so funny.
• 25:06
I got into the shower in my Santa outfit 'cause I was so cold and wet. I was a sloppy mess. I'm like, screw it, I'll just get undressed in the shower.
• 25:14
That was, yeah, that was- Well, you gotta, you can clean all the road grime off and stuff then. That was, that was- It's like doing your laundry and your body at the same time.
• 25:21
That was the, that was year one of the Santa snuggie. Yeah. With, with the- I remember you staring at the radar on your phone like, "Come on, just gotta get a little gold." Just a little bit, you know. Is it? Yeah.
• 25:33
Just get it to the green. It would've been so gorgeous if it snowed, but no. George, it's freaking rain. Yeah, 36 degrees. That's like, that, that's the worst. Oh. Cold is better. Warm is better.
• 25:44
36 degrees, not so great. Yeah. Yep, yep, yep. If you're gonna do it, commit. I got my, uh [laughs] I got my Wednesday all ready for that, that bike ride. I'm s- super happy with the new- Okay.
• 25:55
Oh gosh, that thing is great. I cannot wait to ride it in more appropriate conditions than just bopping to Uptown or something [laughs] around here.
• 26:04
[laughs] Which I have any number of bikes which are capable of doing that, so. Uh. Less fear of being stole too. Stole. Um, yeah, I guess probably. [laughs] I don't know if people really know what's going on.
• 26:18
Did you see the, um- It just, it attracts attention 'cause it's got the big fat tire. What? What tire? What is that all that tires up on there? Why you got your, why you got your snow bike out now?
• 26:30
Hey, here's something we haven't talked about before. We should have other people talk on, on our website with their own podcast. Certainly somebody can do this better than we can do it. Oh, that's nice.
• 26:44
Hey, if you got a show or you wanna make a show, let us know, 'cause we can put it up on the old network here, eh? Yeah. Now we got DaChewy doing it. That guy's great. Maybe somebody else could do it too. I don't know.
• 26:55
You can do it one time. And put, uh, you know, full spectrum cycling back or some such. Yeah. You could probably let us know if you want a place to put your stuff up and don't know how to do it.
• 27:04
As long as it's not stressful. Let me know. Yeah, as long as you don't have any audience and, uh, your mom listens to it, maybe it's fine. Tell us what you want. All right.
• 27:15
Well, I think we done, done, done it again, we done it again. Oops. We done, [laughs] we done did it again. Hey, next week, I don't know, maybe we'll have something better for you, but this week was, uh, was what we did.
• 27:28
That's what we did. That's all we did now. That's how it works. Yeah, if you wanna listen to a good show, listen to last week's shows. Oh my God, there's [laughs] number 185. That show wasn't bad.
• 27:36
Oh gosh, that was a good show. Yeah. All right, everybody. All right, eat a burger if you wanna. Burger from the Culver's. Yeah. Now Culver, send me a bunch of shit. Yeah, yeah, yeah. [laughs] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
