  Speaker 1: It is time for us to go to God in prayer,

  Speaker 1: and as always I ask that you join along with us.

  Speaker 2: Today I want to pray for marriages.

  Speaker 1: I was talking with a couple, and yes, I know
• 0:14
  Speaker 1: I am single, I have been married, and I do
• 0:17
  Speaker 1: know the Word of God and how.
• 0:19
  Speaker 2: To counsel married couples.
• 0:21
  Speaker 1: And I was talking to this young lady and she
• 0:25
  Speaker 1: was so frustrated with her marriage and her husband and
• 0:28
  Speaker 1: you know, all of the things. Instead of dealing with
• 0:32
  Speaker 1: her husband and the issues she said about him, I
• 0:35
  Speaker 1: chose to talk to her about her and her attitude
• 0:39
  Speaker 1: and her heart and her complaining and what she was
• 0:43
  Speaker 1: doing or not doing in her marriage. You know, the
• 0:46
  Speaker 1: Bible says with all that getting get and understanding, and
• 0:49
  Speaker 1: in her marriage there needed to be understanding.

  Speaker 2: There needed to be a referee.
• 0:55
  Speaker 1: So tis because sometimes when we're in disagreement, we only
• 0:58
  Speaker 1: want to fight for our way instead of seeking and understanding.

  Speaker 1: So today God, in the name of Jesus, I come

  Speaker 1: before you, God, lifting up marriages to you. I pray

  Speaker 1: Lord that the men will love their wives like Christ
• 1:17
  Speaker 1: loves the church and gave himself.

  Speaker 2: Christ died for the Church.

  Speaker 1: That means and men, they'll have to die to themselves,

  Speaker 1: if you will, as a sacrifice for their wives. But

  Speaker 1: wives are encouraged God to submit themselves to their husband

  Speaker 1: as unto the Lord. I pray for peace and marriages.

  Speaker 1: I pray for understanding in marriage, and I come against

  Speaker 1: that spirit of division, especially and second and third marriages
• 1:46
  Speaker 1: where there's a blended family. Blended families can be a blessing.

  Speaker 1: Ask me how I know I have a beautiful blended family.

  Speaker 1: So I pray for the blended family, that those additional

  Speaker 1: bonus family members will not
