Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. There are some people out there that still
0:07
Speaker 1: want to run with the narrative that Jeffrey Epstein never
0:11
Speaker 1: trafficked anyone to anybody else. But I'm here to tell
0:14
Speaker 1: you that that narrative is an absolute lie. And the
0:18
Speaker 1: crazy part is the DOJ and Todd Blanche know that.
0:21
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein and Jean-Luc Brunel were trading girls amongst themselves
0:26
Speaker 1: like they were sports cards. So people always say, well,
0:31
Speaker 1: who did Jeffrey Epstein traffic someone to? Jean-Luc Brunel. How
0:34
Speaker 1: many people do you need? How many is enough to
0:37
Speaker 1: make it sick enough for you to care? How many
0:40
Speaker 1: women being trafficked or girls being trafficked is enough for
0:43
Speaker 1: it not to be a hoax? Because I promise you,
0:47
Speaker 1: if the shoe was on the other foot, you guys
0:49
Speaker 1: would be crying like nobody's ever cried before. Just like
0:53
Speaker 1: you're doing about the election files. But the truth is,
0:58
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein... was trafficking women. Maybe not on the scale
1:02
Speaker 1: that people say he was. And I agree with that, actually,
1:06
Speaker 1: like I've told you from the beginning. And look, I've
1:08
Speaker 1: never understood trying to make things up when it comes
1:10
Speaker 1: to Jeffrey Epstein, considering there's so much here that is damning.
1:14
Speaker 1: Why do you have to make things up? Or add salaciousness?
1:17
Speaker 1: Or talk about things that are impossible to verify? I mean,
1:22
Speaker 1: I get it if you're just a normal person and
1:25
Speaker 1: you're talking about this topic. Understood. But if you're somebody
1:28
Speaker 1: who cares about justice... and you're a journalist or whatever,
1:31
Speaker 1: you should be focusing on the mechanics. You should be
1:35
Speaker 1: focusing on more than the surface level. And when you
1:39
Speaker 1: get below that surface level, let me tell you, what
1:41
Speaker 1: you're going to find is a lake with so much
1:43
Speaker 1: depth that it's almost impossible to get to the bottom.
1:49
Speaker 1: And in today's episode, we're going to talk about another
1:51
Speaker 1: woman who was abused by Jeffrey Epstein and who was
1:55
Speaker 1: housed at the building at East 66th Street. So this
1:59
Speaker 1: is a relatively long article, so we're going to break
2:01
Speaker 1: it down into a couple of parts. So, now that
2:05
Speaker 1: the table's set, it's time to eat. This article was
2:09
Speaker 1: published by BBC, and the headline, Control, Threats, Disfiguring Surgery,
2:14
Speaker 1: My Life Inside Jeffrey Epstein's Cult. This article was authored
2:18
Speaker 1: by Chi-Chi Izan-Du, sorry, pronounced that name wrong, Olivia Davies,
2:24
Speaker 1: and Will Dahlgren. In the week after the sex criminal
2:29
Speaker 1: financier Jeffrey Epstein died, Anya, not her real name, opened
2:34
Speaker 1: the door of her New York apartment. Outside was Epstein's brother, Mark,
2:37
Speaker 1: telling her she had to leave, she says. And look,
2:41
Speaker 1: Mark Epstein had a big stake in that building. As
2:45
Speaker 1: far as Jeffrey Epstein's crimes, there is no proof that
2:49
Speaker 1: Mark Epstein was involved in any of that. Now, financially,
2:53
Speaker 1: who knows? We've never had a look at the books.
2:56
Speaker 1: But as far as abusing people, Nobody has ever said
2:59
Speaker 1: that Mark Epstein was part of that. Not that I've heard.
3:05
Speaker 1: Anya had lived for years in one of several flats
3:08
Speaker 1: on East 66th Street in Manhattan, used by Jeffrey Epstein
3:11
Speaker 1: to house women he abused. In one moment, she lost
3:14
Speaker 1: her home, but escaped a nightmare. Mark Epstein denies he
3:17
Speaker 1: was aware of his brother's wrongdoing. I mean, what's he
3:20
Speaker 1: going to say? Yeah, I knew my brother was out
3:22
Speaker 1: here diddling people, but I decided not to say anything.
3:26
Speaker 1: Does that sound likely? No, it doesn't, right? So, of course,
3:30
Speaker 1: the best idea is to be quiet. I'm still struggling
3:34
Speaker 1: to reconcile with the fact that I was abused for years,
3:37
Speaker 1: Anya says. You were not chained to a door or something, right?
3:41
Speaker 1: You were not locked up in a basement. The chains
3:43
Speaker 1: were less obvious, but they were there. And that's a fact.
3:47
Speaker 1: People just don't want to understand. And I think a
3:50
Speaker 1: lot of it has to do with ignorance. I think
3:52
Speaker 1: a lot of people just don't understand what it means
3:55
Speaker 1: to be destitute. Like, It's one thing to be broke, okay?
4:00
Speaker 1: It's another thing to not have anything. And unless you
4:03
Speaker 1: experience that yourself or had friends going through it when
4:06
Speaker 1: you were growing up, then you don't understand. I can't
4:10
Speaker 1: tell you how many people I knew growing up that
4:13
Speaker 1: had nothing. I mean absolutely nothing. I grew up poor too.
4:18
Speaker 1: But my parents, they always had, you know, food on
4:21
Speaker 1: the table. I always had clothes. Always had, you know,
4:25
Speaker 1: the best clothes, the best shoes. I had no idea
4:27
Speaker 1: the strain it was putting on my parents to get
4:29
Speaker 1: me that stuff. And I remember when we first moved
4:31
Speaker 1: to Las Vegas, when my grandmother was dying of lung cancer,
4:35
Speaker 1: my dad used to get up every morning, strap on
4:38
Speaker 1: a tool belt and walk to the Las Vegas strip
4:41
Speaker 1: looking for construction jobs. And I watched him do that
4:44
Speaker 1: basically every day of my life while I was growing up.
4:48
Speaker 1: And then eventually pops got a better job working at
4:51
Speaker 1: one of the casinos and then worked his way up
4:54
Speaker 1: from that entry level job to running the whole ass
4:57
Speaker 1: entertainment department in multiple casinos in Las Vegas and down
5:02
Speaker 1: in the Bahamas. But while he was grinding, shit was
5:05
Speaker 1: not easy. And as rough as that was, I had
5:08
Speaker 1: friends who had it even worse. Friends whose parents were
5:10
Speaker 1: on drugs, friends whose parents were in prison or dead,
5:13
Speaker 1: and they had nothing. And you should have seen their
5:18
Speaker 1: eyes light up when, you know, we'd go out somewhere
5:20
Speaker 1: and my parents would invite them and we'd be able
5:22
Speaker 1: to take them with us. So what I'm trying to
5:25
Speaker 1: tell you is unless you've experienced it and unless you've
5:28
Speaker 1: been around it, it's hard to understand. You know, for
5:31
Speaker 1: most people, $ 200 means nothing, right? 200, 300 bucks, big deal.
5:35
Speaker 1: But to these kids, to these people that have nothing,
5:38
Speaker 1: it was a gigantic deal. And their circumstances led them
5:43
Speaker 1: to go back to Jeffrey Epstein's house multiple times. Epstein,
5:46
Speaker 1: who died in 2019 while awaiting charges for sex trafficking children,
5:51
Speaker 1: used to say that his operation was like a cult.
5:54
Speaker 1: and he was the cult leader, Anya says. She's given
5:57
Speaker 1: the BBC a rare account of life as one of
6:00
Speaker 1: Epstein's assistants, detailing how the financier maintained a hold over
6:04
Speaker 1: so many of his victims for so long. The assistants
6:08
Speaker 1: were a group of women, roughly a dozen at one time,
6:11
Speaker 1: Anya estimates, who were housed by Epstein, worked all hours
6:14
Speaker 1: at his beck and call, and were abused by him
6:17
Speaker 1: on the regular. Anya says they were drawn in with
6:20
Speaker 1: elaborate deceptions and empty promises of work, before he began
6:24
Speaker 1: to coercively control nearly every aspect of their lives, exploiting
6:29
Speaker 1: any weakness he could uncover. And that was his M.O.
6:32
Speaker 1: And the more vulnerable you were, the better off he was.
6:36
Speaker 1: Because he'd exploit it. Oh, you got a sick mom?
6:38
Speaker 1: I'll uptake care of her. But first... Oh, you want
6:41
Speaker 1: to go to school? Okay, but... And everything was transactional.
6:46
Speaker 1: Every last thing that Jeffrey Epstein ever did, transactional. She
6:50
Speaker 1: says he controlled their finances, dictated who they saw, and
6:53
Speaker 1: psychologically demeaned them. He monitored their bodies obsessively, Anya says,
6:58
Speaker 1: and forced her to have unnecessary disfiguring surgery. All facts.
7:04
Speaker 1: And look, I've been trying to chase down a conversation
7:07
Speaker 1: with one of Epstein's assistants for a very long time.
7:10
Speaker 1: And that assistant is Nadia Marcinkova. And I believe that
7:14
Speaker 1: Nadia has a story to tell us. And as far
7:18
Speaker 1: as Epstein's assistants go, the core four, she's the only
7:21
Speaker 1: one who I think deserves any kind of sympathy. I
7:25
Speaker 1: know that there's this big push for Sarah Kellen Vickers
7:28
Speaker 1: to be a sympathetic figure, but I have a hard
7:30
Speaker 1: time with that. I've just had too many conversations personally
7:34
Speaker 1: with people who say that she was involved directly in
7:37
Speaker 1: what happened to them. So I have a very, very
7:40
Speaker 1: hard time with Sarah Kellen Vickers, especially considering she was
7:43
Speaker 1: an adult when she came into this. Now, if you
7:46
Speaker 1: were a kid, Different story, right? 16, 17 even, 15, whatever.
7:52
Speaker 1: Different story. But you're an adult? Look, I understand you
7:56
Speaker 1: had a tough life. A lot of people do. But
8:00
Speaker 1: that doesn't mean you can go out and hurt people
8:01
Speaker 1: on behalf of Jeffrey Epstein. And now the push to
8:05
Speaker 1: try and make her this innocent victim? I don't like it.
8:10
Speaker 1: I have to tell you. Now, that said, I'm willing
8:13
Speaker 1: to listen to what she has to say. Because as
8:15
Speaker 1: you know, I'm willing to follow the evidence, and I
8:18
Speaker 1: might have missed something. I'm not perfect, and I don't
8:21
Speaker 1: have access to all the documentation. So if I miss something,
8:25
Speaker 1: I'd love to know. But so far, I'm not convinced
8:30
Speaker 1: that Sarah Kellen Vickers is this big, gigantic victim. Was
8:34
Speaker 1: she victimized? She was. There's no doubt about that. Let's
8:37
Speaker 1: be clear. And for that, I'm sorry. I don't think
8:41
Speaker 1: any one of these women deserve that. None of them.
8:46
Speaker 1: So this isn't like, you know, I hate Sarah Kellen
8:49
Speaker 1: Vickers as a person, but I believe that accountability is
8:52
Speaker 1: so important when it comes to this topic. Because if not,
8:55
Speaker 1: it's just going to happen again and again. Because here's
8:58
Speaker 1: the blueprint. If you're some sick degenerate, all you have
9:01
Speaker 1: to do is follow this blueprint, right? So I think
9:04
Speaker 1: it's very important that everybody that was responsible answer for
9:08
Speaker 1: their actions. Whether that's legally, whether that's civilly, or it's societal,
9:14
Speaker 1: there has to be a reckoning. Her account of Epstein's
9:18
Speaker 1: control is echoed by Sarah Kellen, another former assistant. She
9:22
Speaker 1: told the U.S. House Oversight Committee earlier this year how
9:25
Speaker 1: Epstein presented himself as the assistant savior. He was very
9:30
Speaker 1: good at just decimating your ability to make your own
9:32
Speaker 1: decisions and have your own autonomy. And it made you
9:35
Speaker 1: more and more dependent on him, she said. If that
9:38
Speaker 1: was the case, how did Sarah Kellen Vickers end up
9:41
Speaker 1: marrying an NASCAR driver? You know, she talks about this
9:44
Speaker 1: horrible life she had. But it doesn't really add up
9:47
Speaker 1: to me. Especially when you look at the scheduling. You
9:50
Speaker 1: look at how she was still friendly with Epstein after
9:52
Speaker 1: the arrest. I'm sorry, but I don't buy it. Okay?
9:56
Speaker 1: I don't buy it. I'm willing to listen, but as
9:58
Speaker 1: of right now, I do not buy it. it. And
10:00
Speaker 1: I don't find Sarah Kellen Vickers to be in the
10:03
Speaker 1: same category as the other victims. If you want to
10:06
Speaker 1: say that she's an abuser who was abused herself, okay.
10:10
Speaker 1: I can get down with that. But you can't put
10:13
Speaker 1: her in the same category as one of those girls
10:15
Speaker 1: from Palm Beach High School. There's a bias which tends
10:20
Speaker 1: to make people think that only children are susceptible to
10:23
Speaker 1: this type of coercion. But you can be groomed as
10:26
Speaker 1: an adult, says Dr. Tara Quinn Cirillo, a clinical psychologist
10:30
Speaker 1: who has worked with victims of coercive control. You can
10:33
Speaker 1: be vulnerable to this, she says. Yeah, that only goes
10:37
Speaker 1: so far. I'm sorry, but it only goes so far.
10:40
Speaker 1: So every time somebody abuses somebody, they can just say, hey, look,
10:43
Speaker 1: I was groomed. I had this normalized for me. Meanwhile,
10:48
Speaker 1: I'm a 42 year old woman. Come on, stop it.
10:51
Speaker 1: Nobody buys that. And some of these quacks that they
10:54
Speaker 1: get up here to run their stupid ass nonsense, in
10:57
Speaker 1: my opinion, they do more harm than good. I mean,
11:00
Speaker 1: look at the Diddy trial. Look at how Diddy's lawyers
11:03
Speaker 1: absolutely savaged the prosecution experts. So you're playing with a
11:09
Speaker 1: double-sided knife here, right? A double-sided blade. And that shit
11:14
Speaker 1: cuts both ways. But there's a lot of quackery, folks.
11:17
Speaker 1: There's no doubt a lot of quackery when it comes
11:20
Speaker 1: to these so-called mental health doctors. After Jeffrey Epstein was
11:25
Speaker 1: convicted in 2008 of abusing a teenage girl whom he
11:28
Speaker 1: lured to his home with the offer of work as
11:31
Speaker 1: a masseuse, he changed tactics. He began largely targeting adult women,
11:36
Speaker 1: mostly from Russia or other parts of Eastern Europe. Yo,
11:39
Speaker 1: who has been telling you this for years? Like, if
11:42
Speaker 1: people would have just listened... And not just me, by
11:44
Speaker 1: the way, okay? When I say who's been telling you this,
11:46
Speaker 1: I mean people in this sphere. The people that understand
11:49
Speaker 1: the story. We've been yelling this shit from the rooftops
11:53
Speaker 1: for like seven years. Everybody was too busy, though. Everybody
11:58
Speaker 1: had other things to do. And we were all looked
12:02
Speaker 1: at like Candace fucking Owens, like we're a bunch of quacks.
12:05
Speaker 1: But the truth is, there's always been a mountain of
12:07
Speaker 1: evidence here. And anybody who knows me knows I'm not
12:11
Speaker 1: going to spend seven years of my life chasing dead
12:13
Speaker 1: ends that is not how I roll I have other
12:16
Speaker 1: things to do and if you think I enjoy sitting
12:19
Speaker 1: here screaming into the wind on a regular basis you're
12:22
Speaker 1: wrong but I feel like this is so important that
12:25
Speaker 1: we have to continue to talk about it until there's
12:28
Speaker 1: some action and listen the legacy media they'll tell you
12:31
Speaker 1: that they're just learning all of this but that's not
12:33
Speaker 1: true they knew it they just didn't care folks that's
12:36
Speaker 1: the truth Anya says she and many of the other
12:41
Speaker 1: women recruited still look like teenagers, however, and she showed
12:45
Speaker 1: the BBC photos of herself at the time to demonstrate.
12:49
Speaker 1: Anya had grown up in Russia, emerging from communist rule
12:52
Speaker 1: with strict parents, who drilled into her that education will
12:56
Speaker 1: be her success, she says. And that's a fact, huh?
12:59
Speaker 1: What parent doesn't tell their kid that? Go to school,
13:02
Speaker 1: have a better life, do great things. But opportunity was scarce,
13:11
Speaker 1: and armed with her degree, she left Russia to work
13:13
Speaker 1: as a model. She worked in Europe for luxury brands
13:16
Speaker 1: such as Fendi and Chanel. She had friends, a support system,
13:20
Speaker 1: and family she could fly back to see whenever she wanted.
13:24
Speaker 1: In her early 20s, she came into Epstein's orbit when
13:27
Speaker 1: she visited a Paris agency and met modeling scout Daniel Syed.
13:32
Speaker 1: And Daniel Syed, according to the documentation, was another key
13:35
Speaker 1: member of the European Pipeline. Remember, he was somebody that
13:39
Speaker 1: worked with Jean-Luc Brunel. And if you're looking for trafficking
13:43
Speaker 1: and how it went down, here it is. And by
13:46
Speaker 1: the way, Todd Blanche is a liar. Okay, straight up.
13:49
Speaker 1: No doubt about it. Straight with no chaser. Dude's a liar.
13:54
Speaker 1: And anybody that confirms him, they should lose their seat.
13:59
Speaker 1: And I truly mean that. In her early 20s, she
14:01
Speaker 1: came into Epstein's orbit when she visited a Paris agency
14:05
Speaker 1: and met modeling scout Daniel Syed. He complimented her intelligence,
14:09
Speaker 1: which is not typical in the modeling industry, Anya says,
14:13
Speaker 1: and suggested introducing her to a friend of his with
14:16
Speaker 1: connections in the fashion business. That friend? Jeffrey Epstein. Anya
14:21
Speaker 1: says she used to wonder what would happen if she
14:24
Speaker 1: had not stopped by the agency that day, but she
14:26
Speaker 1: now believes that she was targeted. It was a complete setup,
14:30
Speaker 1: she says, describing Syed as essentially a professional trafficker. Yo. Yo.
14:37
Speaker 1: Facts are facts, right? And if it walks like a duck,
14:40
Speaker 1: quacks like a duck, my man, you might be a duck.
14:46
Speaker 1: Syed's name appears thousands of times in the Epstein files,
14:49
Speaker 1: the massive collection of documents about the financier, pedophile, released
14:53
Speaker 1: by the U.S. government in January. Syed's lawyer said he
14:57
Speaker 1: was not available for comment, but he previously denied any
15:00
Speaker 1: knowledge of the threat that Epstein posed. And that's the defense, right?
15:05
Speaker 1: I had no idea. What do you mean? The government
15:07
Speaker 1: didn't even know. How am I supposed to know? Oh,
15:10
Speaker 1: the government knew. They covered it up. That's the problem.
15:16
Speaker 1: Anya says she first met Epstein at his sprawling 18-room
15:19
Speaker 1: Paris apartment, decorated with pictures of himself posing with people
15:23
Speaker 1: such as Bill Clinton and other world leaders. She says
15:26
Speaker 1: that she felt comfortable because there were two other women present,
15:29
Speaker 1: one Russian and the other Epstein's then-girlfriend from Eastern Europe.
15:34
Speaker 1: Epstein asked Anya to undress so he could see her
15:36
Speaker 1: body for modeling, she says. As she stood in her underwear,
15:40
Speaker 1: she says the financier told her she was not in
15:43
Speaker 1: shape and needed to start working out, calling her lazy.
15:47
Speaker 1: Imagine Jeffrey Epstein's bitch ass talking about how somebody else looks.
15:51
Speaker 1: This fuckface shows up in them dumbass sweatpants, them goofy
15:54
Speaker 1: ass shoes, and that dumbass stupid face. And it's a shame.
16:02
Speaker 1: That nobody ever came up with a cure... For what
16:04
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein was suffering. And you know what that element was? Fuckface-itis.
16:09
Speaker 1: The audacity of this man... To talk about the appearance
16:12
Speaker 1: of anybody else. And look, I'm not going to sit
16:15
Speaker 1: here and tell you... Your boy is some Adonis, right?
16:18
Speaker 1: Certainly not these days. I'm getting old. Got some gray hair.
16:22
Speaker 1: You know, the whole thing. But I'm not running around
16:24
Speaker 1: telling people... They need to get in shape. Or they
16:27
Speaker 1: need to start working out. This rotten son of a bitch...
16:30
Speaker 1: has no business ever telling anybody to go to the
16:34
Speaker 1: gym or how they should look. Comments such as these
16:37
Speaker 1: were common in the modeling industry, Anya says, and she
16:40
Speaker 1: believed his claims that if she worked hard, he'd introduce
16:43
Speaker 1: her to the right people. Anya says he asked about
16:46
Speaker 1: her family, her interest, what I thought I was trying
16:48
Speaker 1: to accomplish in life, why I was doing modeling, all
16:51
Speaker 1: things that mattered for me. You don't get asked those
16:54
Speaker 1: questions in fashion, she says. Several women have told the
16:57
Speaker 1: BBC that Epstein liked to learn what mattered to them
17:01
Speaker 1: so that he could later use the information against them.
17:03
Speaker 1: Epstein never created any dossiers. He never collected compromise. He
17:07
Speaker 1: didn't do that. He was a lone predator who just
17:10
Speaker 1: liked to diddle kids and watch CP. I'm so fucking
17:12
Speaker 1: tired of it. Stop gaslighting me, okay? I've had enough.
17:16
Speaker 1: Your boy has reached his level of gaslighting. And I
17:20
Speaker 1: have truly had enough. He also addressed her concerns head on.
17:26
Speaker 1: I see that you're smart and you're suspicious. She recalls
17:28
Speaker 1: him telling her, I don't want to sleep with you. Oh,
17:31
Speaker 1: sure you don't, Jeffy. Anya says this put her even
17:35
Speaker 1: more at ease. I was telling myself, gosh, this guy
17:38
Speaker 1: is just incredible. He can see right through me, she says.
17:41
Speaker 1: All right, folks, we're going to wrap up the first
17:43
Speaker 1: episode here. And in the next episode, we're going to

Speaker 1: pick up where we left off. All the information that
17:49
Speaker 1: goes with this episode can be found in the description box.
17:54
Speaker 1: What's up, everyone? And welcome to another episode of the
17:57
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're going to pick up
18:00
Speaker 1: where he left off. with the BBC article, talking about
18:04
Speaker 1: Anya and her experience with Jeffrey Epstein. Once again, this
18:09
Speaker 1: article was published by BBC, and the authors are Chi-Chi Izundu,
18:15
Speaker 1: Olivia Davies, and Will Dahlgreen. This was just the start
18:20
Speaker 1: of the grooming process that would unfold over many months,
18:24
Speaker 1: stringing Anya, along with empty promises, and extended deception. Over
18:29
Speaker 1: the course of almost a year, Anya began exercising religiously
18:33
Speaker 1: to get the body she says Epstein wanted. Leslie Groff,
18:38
Speaker 1: his executive assistant who managed his diary, would email for
18:41
Speaker 1: updates on her progress and Epstein pressured Anya for pictures
18:45
Speaker 1: telling her not to be shy when he insisted on nudes.
18:49
Speaker 1: And look, it wasn't just casual. When Epstein would get
18:51
Speaker 1: those nudes, now he has blackmail, right? Look, you better
18:55
Speaker 1: do what I say or I'm sending this to your mom.
18:58
Speaker 1: That kind of shit. Maybe not as crude, but you
19:00
Speaker 1: get where I'm going. Epstein eventually arranged a meeting between
19:04
Speaker 1: her and the co-founder of model agency Next Management, Faith Cates.
19:09
Speaker 1: As he had promised, Anya says. She says it lasted
19:12
Speaker 1: less than 30 minutes, and Anya was told Epstein would
19:15
Speaker 1: let her know the outcome. Why would Epstein let her know?
19:18
Speaker 1: Faith Cates couldn't tell her. The whole modeling industry is garbage.
19:22
Speaker 1: If I had a daughter, zero chance. I would never
19:26
Speaker 1: leave my daughter unattended with anybody in the modeling industry,
19:29
Speaker 1: or a fashion show, any of it. Bunch of degenerate,
19:33
Speaker 1: weird people. Sorry. The financier told her that Next did
19:39
Speaker 1: not want to hire her because she wasn't good enough
19:41
Speaker 1: for the New York market, Anya says, with Epstein adding
19:45
Speaker 1: that she was out of shape. Again, talking about how
19:47
Speaker 1: somebody looks. And then Faith... Cates have you taken a
19:51
Speaker 1: look at her I mean for real this lady looks
19:54
Speaker 1: like Bethany Frankel in the Crypt Keeper had a baby
19:58
Speaker 1: and she's over here talking about oh you're a hot
20:00
Speaker 1: model you're sexy you're this you're that I never understood
20:03
Speaker 1: it it's like having somebody with no fashion sense pick
20:08
Speaker 1: out your clothes Anya says she was dejected. Epstein told
20:12
Speaker 1: her to visit him in Palm Beach, Florida, where he
20:14
Speaker 1: was on day release while he served his sentence. He
20:18
Speaker 1: had blamed his conviction on a girl deceiving him with
20:20
Speaker 1: fake ID, she says. Anya had to sign a register
20:24
Speaker 1: kept by a uniformed police officer to see him. Epstein
20:27
Speaker 1: escorted her into a back room where he sexually assaulted
20:30
Speaker 1: her for the first time. At least two other women
20:34
Speaker 1: have said he sexually assaulted them while serving his sentence. Well,
20:38
Speaker 1: I hate to say it again, but Who told you so?
20:40
Speaker 1: I had people reach out to me and tell me
20:44
Speaker 1: that they were abused by him on work release. Like
20:47
Speaker 1: it's unconscionable. And the authorities down in Florida, they're supposed
20:52
Speaker 1: to be minding him, right? He's under their care. But no,
20:57
Speaker 1: he's out here abusing people. Sign into the registry, then
21:01
Speaker 1: go get abused. How is nobody sued? How is it
21:04
Speaker 1: that nobody has been brought up on charges? How is
21:07
Speaker 1: it that there's no accountability? And I know you can't
21:11
Speaker 1: take people's pensions for the most part, but bro, there
21:14
Speaker 1: gotta be a way to hold these people accountable. After
21:20
Speaker 1: the assault, Epstein ushered her out of the back room
21:22
Speaker 1: and started joking with the other assistants waiting outside that
21:25
Speaker 1: Anya was so shy. They all laughed at her, she says,
21:28
Speaker 1: and their reaction made her blame herself. Well, yeah, look,
21:32
Speaker 1: it was certainly a bunch of people that wanted to
21:35
Speaker 1: please Epstein. And I think when you call it a cult,
21:38
Speaker 1: I think that's pretty spot on. This dude was certainly
21:41
Speaker 1: a cult leader. But it wasn't done by charisma or charm.
21:46
Speaker 1: It was done because he had money. He looked for
21:48
Speaker 1: vulnerable girls who had nothing or who had dreams that
21:52
Speaker 1: he said he could help. And then he reeled them in.
21:55
Speaker 1: You notice he wasn't going after rich girls, right? And
21:59
Speaker 1: you know why? Because they don't have those vulnerabilities. They're
22:02
Speaker 1: not going to give you a massage for 200 bucks.
22:05
Speaker 1: And furthermore, if they go to the police, the police
22:08
Speaker 1: would probably listen. When you have a girl from Palm Beach, well,
22:12
Speaker 1: we all know the result. I thought maybe nothing wrong
22:16
Speaker 1: really happened here. Maybe it's just my reaction that is wrong,
22:19
Speaker 1: she says. Maybe it's my Russian upbringing. Maybe it's how
22:22
Speaker 1: strict my parents were. But there's something off with me
22:25
Speaker 1: and not with him. It was only when the Epstein
22:29
Speaker 1: files were released that Anya says she realized what had
22:32
Speaker 1: really happened. Email showed up that despite her face-to-face meeting
22:36
Speaker 1: with Faith Cates, the agency founder had in fact rejected
22:39
Speaker 1: her a year earlier. Anya says she realized she had
22:43
Speaker 1: been strung along for months by Epstein and set up
22:45
Speaker 1: to fail in a very elaborate grooming. Then, when she
22:49
Speaker 1: was vulnerable, isolated, and far from home, Epstein had struck.
22:53
Speaker 1: That was his M.O. And Faith Cates? She played her part.
22:57
Speaker 1: Not just in this case, either. How many girls and
23:00
Speaker 1: women were led to the belly of the beast? That's
23:03
Speaker 1: the real question. And until we get close to the answer,
23:07
Speaker 1: me and my big fat yap are going to keep moving.
23:14
Speaker 1: The type of slow, steady grooming Anya describes is designed
23:18
Speaker 1: to avoid triggering the target's sense of danger, like stealth
23:21
Speaker 1: bombers are designed to just go under the radar, says
23:24
Speaker 1: the psychologist Quinn Cirillo. Faith Cate's lawyer told us in
23:28
Speaker 1: a statement that any claim or client had any knowledge
23:31
Speaker 1: or involvement in Epstein's purported trafficking is false and defamatory.
23:36
Speaker 1: Suggesting Epstein would relay the agency's decision to Anya was unusual, false,
23:41
Speaker 1: and uncorroborated, the lawyer added. So it's the survivor who's
23:44
Speaker 1: a liar again, huh? Everybody's a liar, but Epstein's friends.
23:49
Speaker 1: Enough is enough. You're not going to scare people talking about, oh,
23:53
Speaker 1: that's defamatory. Bro, It's in the emails. Do you really
23:58
Speaker 1: think a jury of 12 people would take a look
24:01
Speaker 1: at that and say, oh, you're being defamed? No. What
24:04
Speaker 1: are you doing? Why do you have this relationship with Epstein?
24:08
Speaker 1: And how many other girls did you bring in? And
24:11
Speaker 1: all these people that talk about, oh, it's defamatory and
24:13
Speaker 1: this and that, they don't sue nobody, do they? And
24:16
Speaker 1: you know why? There's this little thing called discovery, and
24:20
Speaker 1: they don't want anything to do with it. The agency
24:26
Speaker 1: made its own decisions about which models to take on
24:29
Speaker 1: and did not seek Epstein's approval for such decisions. The
24:32
Speaker 1: statement continued, adding, Obviously, there is nothing unusual about a
24:36
Speaker 1: potential model being considered and rejected from a modeling agency
24:40
Speaker 1: even more than once. Oh, that's all it was. No
24:43
Speaker 1: big deal. Come on, guys. Faith Cates, hell of a woman.
24:47
Speaker 1: Ignore those emails, though. Ignore the fact that her and
24:50
Speaker 1: Uncle Jeffy were so close. Ignore all of that. and
24:54
Speaker 1: just listen to what they're telling you. Because, you know,
24:58
Speaker 1: trust me, bro. Next Management said in a statement that
25:04
Speaker 1: the company had no relationship with Epstein, and Kate's alleged
25:07
Speaker 1: actions had been hers alone. Wasn't us. We had nothing
25:10
Speaker 1: to do with it. It was just the president of
25:12
Speaker 1: the company. Uh, what? Epstein continued to hold out the
25:17
Speaker 1: prospect of modeling work to Anya, introducing her to Jean-Luc Brunel,
25:21
Speaker 1: founder of the MC Squared agency. Epstein did not tell
25:24
Speaker 1: her he was one of the company's financial backers. MC2
25:29
Speaker 1: is closed down in its Miami and New York offices,
25:32
Speaker 1: and the founder of its remaining branch in Israel has
25:34
Speaker 1: previously said he had no relationship with Epstein. Okay, sure.
25:40
Speaker 1: Anybody who works at MC2? What are you doing? Plenty
25:44
Speaker 1: of other places to work. Almost zero jobs came from
25:49
Speaker 1: the agency, she says. Instead, her agent would tell her
25:52
Speaker 1: she was going to Palm Beach for a direct booking.
25:54
Speaker 1: Anya says, but there was no modeling job. Just more
25:58
Speaker 1: abuse from Epstein. Nobody's been trafficked here, folks. Derpa, derpa, derpa.
26:04
Speaker 1: Have you seen the fraud files? Bunch of fucking unserious clowns.
26:11
Speaker 1: After a while, Epstein told her modeling was not working
26:14
Speaker 1: out for her and that the industry was dead. Anya
26:17
Speaker 1: recalls him saying, come work for me. I'll teach you
26:20
Speaker 1: a real business. You'll travel, you'll meet important people all
26:24
Speaker 1: over the world, and you'll get molested and abused and raped,
26:28
Speaker 1: and I'll do whatever I want to you. Sounds like
26:30
Speaker 1: a great trade-off, said nobody ever. But work, as Epstein's assistant,
26:36
Speaker 1: was not what Anya imagined. She says Epstein taught her
26:39
Speaker 1: nothing about business. Instead, she says she would largely sit
26:43
Speaker 1: around waiting for Epstein to give her something to do,
26:46
Speaker 1: while Epstein berated her for sitting around doing nothing. Sometimes
26:50
Speaker 1: he would give her a menial task to do, answer
26:53
Speaker 1: the phone, show someone to a meeting room, or announce
26:55
Speaker 1: a guest. Nevertheless, the assistants were on call 24-7, Anya says.
27:01
Speaker 1: One time, Anya says she popped out for lunch to
27:04
Speaker 1: meet someone and Epstein went crazy, repeatedly calling her and
27:08
Speaker 1: insisting she can never leave the house without his permission. Well,
27:12
Speaker 1: they were indentured slaves. Anya was completely dependent on Epstein.
27:18
Speaker 1: If she got sick and needed health care, she says
27:21
Speaker 1: he would tell her, I'm your medical insurance. She didn't
27:24
Speaker 1: have a bank account or correct documentation to rent her
27:27
Speaker 1: own home. But she says Epstein kicked her out of
27:30
Speaker 1: the Manhattan apartment a few times, telling her, figure out
27:32
Speaker 1: where you're staying. These were strong mechanisms of control, she says.
27:38
Speaker 1: That's a fact. And I know there's people out there
27:40
Speaker 1: that'll say, well, why doesn't she just stand on her own?
27:44
Speaker 1: We're talking about a woman from Russia. Who Jeffrey Epstein
27:47
Speaker 1: brought over here. Who knows nobody. Can't work. Can't do
27:51
Speaker 1: anything really. And is that the behest of a sick
27:55
Speaker 1: monster like Jeffrey Epstein. And you find fault with a woman.
27:58
Speaker 1: Like I don't get it bro. Honestly. You got all
28:01
Speaker 1: these dudes out here talking all this nonsense. About how
28:03
Speaker 1: they're so manly. And this and that. Well I'll tell
28:06
Speaker 1: you what. Any man that doesn't look at this. Situation.
28:10
Speaker 1: And doesn't. Want to serve up three piece combos to
28:13
Speaker 1: everybody involved. Is not a man. I'm sorry. but you're not. Now,
28:18
Speaker 1: that doesn't mean you have to believe all women because
28:21
Speaker 1: I certainly don't do that. But when there's documented proof
28:25
Speaker 1: of what went on and you try and downplay it
28:27
Speaker 1: and you try and make it out to be something
28:28
Speaker 1: it's not over politics, that's when we got a problem.
28:33
Speaker 1: And that's when your bitch ass gets your man card pulled.
28:37
Speaker 1: Because there's no man on this planet who's worth his
28:40
Speaker 1: weight that would ever be okay with this happening to
28:42
Speaker 1: people he loves. So why the fuck would you be
28:45
Speaker 1: okay with it happening to anybody? Epstein only started paying
28:48
Speaker 1: Anya a small salary years later because her visa required it.
28:54
Speaker 1: She says he would often say, don't worry, I'll always
28:56
Speaker 1: support you. The sexual abuse continued frequently throughout this period,
29:01
Speaker 1: Anya says. Sarah Kellen painted a similar picture to U.S. lawmakers.
29:06
Speaker 1: I had no money, no family, no education, and no
29:09
Speaker 1: sense that I deserved any better. She did have a family.
29:12
Speaker 1: We've heard from her parents already. She is in a
29:16
Speaker 1: different situation than Anya. Is she in a different country?
29:19
Speaker 1: Does she not speak the language? Does she have visa concerns?
29:22
Speaker 1: A word? None of that? Oh, okay, cool. Meanwhile, Epstein
29:26
Speaker 1: shut off his power and connections to her. Jeffrey made
29:30
Speaker 1: certain I knew that defying him would cost me my life,
29:33
Speaker 1: she says. Now, look, I don't doubt that, OK, and
29:36
Speaker 1: I don't want to come off as crass here. And
29:38
Speaker 1: somebody that has no empathy for Sarah Kellan Vickers, I do.
29:42
Speaker 1: But empathy is not enough. You have to be accountable,
29:45
Speaker 1: responsible for the shit you do the same way the
29:48
Speaker 1: rest of us do. Like if I go out and
29:50
Speaker 1: do something, say I drive too fast. Well, I'm accountable
29:54
Speaker 1: to the law, right? I get a ticket. I got
29:56
Speaker 1: to pay it. All these people, though, there's never been
29:59
Speaker 1: any accountability. But now you want to skip that part
30:02
Speaker 1: and just become the victim? I'll tell you what. I'll
30:05
Speaker 1: call you a victim after you take responsibility for what
30:08
Speaker 1: you did. Let's start there. On one occasion, an assistant
30:14
Speaker 1: ran away. Anya recalls. Anya, says the woman, had called
30:19
Speaker 1: her during her escape, leaving Anya fearful that Epstein would
30:23
Speaker 1: find out that they'd been in contact. as she owned
30:26
Speaker 1: their phones and he monitored their calls. Epstein hired a
30:30
Speaker 1: private investigator to trace the missing assistant, Anya says. She
30:34
Speaker 1: says he showed her an email detailing the expenses he
30:37
Speaker 1: calculated the missing woman owed him, a total of $ 700, 000.
30:40
Speaker 1: Anya says she got the message loud and clear. If
30:45
Speaker 1: you leave, you'll owe me money and I will hunt
30:48
Speaker 1: you down to get it back. That tracks two. This
30:54
Speaker 1: man was running a human trafficking empire. And not your
30:58
Speaker 1: traditional human trafficking empire. One that fed his own desires
31:03
Speaker 1: and the select few. Okay? That's what it was. And
31:06
Speaker 1: the sooner people hip themselves to that, the better we're
31:09
Speaker 1: going to be. This was not the only thing Epstein
31:12
Speaker 1: held over the woman. He also gathered compromising material, Anya says.
31:16
Speaker 1: And he would casually remind her that he had naked
31:18
Speaker 1: pictures of her. What did I say earlier? That's what
31:21
Speaker 1: he does. That's what he's always done. And if anybody
31:25
Speaker 1: thinks that wasn't happening, they are crazy. Friend, enemy, anybody
31:30
Speaker 1: in between. Because Epstein was always looking to have the
31:35
Speaker 1: one up, right? Always needed to have something over somebody.
31:38
Speaker 1: Had to have leverage. And boy, was he good at it.
31:44
Speaker 1: On one occasion, she says he gathered his assistants for
31:46
Speaker 1: a photo shoot. Epstein encouraged them to go topless and
31:50
Speaker 1: dance joyfully, insisting it was filmed. Anya recalls he said,
31:54
Speaker 1: This way I know you'll never go against me. Suggesting
31:56
Speaker 1: that it would be hard for them to argue they
31:58
Speaker 1: were not consenting if he showed the video. That's his
32:01
Speaker 1: library of evidence, she says. And all of this is
32:05
Speaker 1: because of the first prosecution down in Florida. Epstein and
32:08
Speaker 1: his legal team, they came up with a plan to
32:10
Speaker 1: stop going after high school girls and to start going
32:13
Speaker 1: after vulnerable girls from Russia and other countries. So I
32:18
Speaker 1: have a question about Alan Dershowitz's role in that strategy.
32:21
Speaker 1: Did he have anything to do with it? Who came
32:24
Speaker 1: up with it? Who got it Epstein's hand? Who told
32:27
Speaker 1: him to switch it up? The financier also made his
32:31
Speaker 1: assistants write him emails, which they called gratitude letters, gushingly
32:35
Speaker 1: thanking their abuser. I was so terrified of not saying
32:38
Speaker 1: thank you enough to him, Anya says. I think partially, maybe,
32:42
Speaker 1: those gratitude letters were another mechanism of him saying, how
32:46
Speaker 1: can you go against me if you're thanking me all
32:48
Speaker 1: the time? Epstein would also pit the assistants against each other,
32:52
Speaker 1: Anya says. He would let slip that another woman was
32:55
Speaker 1: mad at her for being useless and so lazy. But
32:59
Speaker 1: he would say he was advocating for you as your
33:02
Speaker 1: biggest supporter, she says. In this way, he prevented the
33:05
Speaker 1: woman from forming real relationships with each other, making them
33:08
Speaker 1: easier to control. Kind of like a harem. I hate
33:11
Speaker 1: to say that, but that's what it's like, right? And
33:13
Speaker 1: like in the old Ottoman Empire, you would have all
33:17
Speaker 1: the concubines at war with each other, basically. You know,
33:21
Speaker 1: everybody was scheming and conniving, so nobody made relationships. And
33:25
Speaker 1: everybody was, you know, basically at each other's throats. And
33:28
Speaker 1: that was the kind of environment that Epstein was trying
33:30
Speaker 1: to foster. He didn't want these women to be friendly.
33:34
Speaker 1: He wanted them to be obedient. As Anya talks to us,
33:40
Speaker 1: she lifts up her top to reveal several scars across
33:43
Speaker 1: her stomach. Then she shows us old modeling photos where
33:47
Speaker 1: she had a small tattoo dating back to when she
33:49
Speaker 1: was a teenager. Epstein wanted her to remove it and
33:52
Speaker 1: a doctor came to his house, she recalls. But he
33:55
Speaker 1: did not want her to have laser treatment because it
33:58
Speaker 1: would take too long. So he suggested the doctor cut
34:00
Speaker 1: the tattooed skin off. Only I could come up with that,
34:04
Speaker 1: she recalls him saying. Yo, what? What the fuck does
34:08
Speaker 1: that mean? Cut the skin off? What are you, leather face, bro?
34:14
Speaker 1: She says she had the surgery, which left scars. A
34:17
Speaker 1: year later, he insisted that it was done again. Because
34:21
Speaker 1: he did not like the results. The most shameful part
34:24
Speaker 1: of her time with Epstein was having to recruit other women,
34:27
Speaker 1: Anya says, her eyes welling up with tears. Each assistant
34:31
Speaker 1: had to bring in at least one other assistant, she says,
34:34
Speaker 1: and Epstein told them to recruit young women like her.
34:37
Speaker 1: It's one or ten like you're already complicit. Bingo. If
34:42
Speaker 1: I get you involved with my crimes, then you're not
34:44
Speaker 1: going to go to the police, right? You're part of it. Oh,
34:47
Speaker 1: if you go, we're all going down, etc., etc., Anya
34:52
Speaker 1: says she wanted to speak out now to help people
34:54
Speaker 1: understand how women became trapped by Epstein and to explain
34:58
Speaker 1: how his operation had trafficked adults like her as well
35:01
Speaker 1: as children. Yo, that's something I've been telling you for
35:03
Speaker 1: a long time. Grown-ass women can be trafficked. They can
35:07
Speaker 1: be abused. And we should have empathy for that. Now,
35:12
Speaker 1: that doesn't mean everybody that comes out and says they
35:14
Speaker 1: were abused or trafficked by Epstein is telling the truth.
35:17
Speaker 1: We have to use some discernment. But I think when
35:20
Speaker 1: you have the documentation and the contemporaneous emails and things
35:24
Speaker 1: line up, well, it just is what it is. And
35:26
Speaker 1: people can deny the evidence all they want. But at
35:29
Speaker 1: this point, they're just telling on themselves. He built this
35:33
Speaker 1: whole ecosystem of abuse that was serving him, she says.
35:36
Speaker 1: When you have people like Bill Gates come to his
35:38
Speaker 1: house for dinner and shake his hand, you think, who
35:41
Speaker 1: am I to question it? Who am I to speak
35:43
Speaker 1: up there? It legitimized the abuse. Both Anya and Sarah
35:47
Speaker 1: Kellan have subsequently received compensation from the Epstein Victims Compensation Fund,
35:52
Speaker 1: which was established to provide financial relief to survivors and
35:57
Speaker 1: involve sharing corroborating evidence of their abuse. When he was alive,
36:01
Speaker 1: I didn't speak to a single person about this, Anya says.
36:04
Speaker 1: She now hopes that her voice can help just one
36:07
Speaker 1: woman escape an abusive relationship. I'm not in any way special,
36:11
Speaker 1: she says. I just somehow managed to find the strength
36:14
Speaker 1: in me to preserve and to survive. If I can
36:17
Speaker 1: do it, you can do it. I think that's a
36:20
Speaker 1: powerful message. Short to the point, but powerful. And look,
36:26
Speaker 1: I'm not going to sit here and tell anybody how
36:27
Speaker 1: to live their life or what they should do. But
36:30
Speaker 1: if you're in a situation where somebody is abusing you,
36:34
Speaker 1: putting their hands on you, hurting you, it's only going
36:37
Speaker 1: to accelerate. And eventually it's going to get to a
36:39
Speaker 1: point where there's no coming back. And look, I know
36:43
Speaker 1: it's not easy. I know it's not an easy thing
36:46
Speaker 1: to do to reach out to people, become vulnerable and
36:49
Speaker 1: tell people what's going on. But if you're in that
36:52
Speaker 1: position and somebody is hurting you, I really hope that
36:56
Speaker 1: you reach out and get the support you need because
36:59
Speaker 1: it doesn't end well. Unfortunately, it just doesn't end well.
37:02
Speaker 1: And so if a message like Anya's can keep somebody
37:05
Speaker 1: out of the grips of somebody like Epstein, so much
37:08
Speaker 1: the better. And like I've always told you, if you
37:11
Speaker 1: want to know the real story about Jeffrey Epstein, if
37:13
Speaker 1: you want to know who was there, If you want
37:15
Speaker 1: to know what was happening, if you want to know
37:17
Speaker 1: who was involved in the abuse, then you should be
37:19
Speaker 1: listening very carefully to what people like Anya say. And
37:23
Speaker 1: then just remember that there's over a thousand girls and
37:27
Speaker 1: women just like Anya. So the next time that Todd
37:30
Speaker 1: Blanche and the DOJ tell you that there's no actionable intelligence,
37:35
Speaker 1: that there's no investigations to be had, I want you
37:38
Speaker 1: to think about Anya and the countless other women with
37:41
Speaker 1: no names. All the information that goes with this episode
37:47
Speaker 1: can be found in the description box. One of Jeffrey
37:50
Speaker 1: Epstein's survivors, Jennifer Arreaz, has sued Ghislaine Maxwell in the
37:58
Speaker 1: Manhattan Supreme Court under the Child Victims Act. This suit
38:03
Speaker 1: took place on Monday, and it calls into question, in
38:07
Speaker 1: my opinion, what's going on with the compensation fund. Because remember,
38:12
Speaker 1: if you opted into that compensation fund and you were
38:16
Speaker 1: going to get a payout from that compensation fund, then
38:19
Speaker 1: you had to halt your cases against Ghislaine Maxwell, your
38:22
Speaker 1: civil suits, etc., etc. Well, it certainly looks like Jennifer
38:27
Speaker 1: here is not going that route. It looks like she's
38:30
Speaker 1: decided to sue Ghislaine Maxwell. And I would guess that
38:37
Speaker 1: would preclude her from a payout from the compensation fund
38:43
Speaker 1: now we really haven't gotten much information about the compensation
38:48
Speaker 1: fund since we heard it went live but if we're
38:51
Speaker 1: seeing this situation like this and this survivor go after
38:58
Speaker 1: Ghislaine in another suit well I think that you would
39:03
Speaker 1: have to come to the conclusion that the compensation fund
39:08
Speaker 1: at least as far as this survivor goes is not
39:13
Speaker 1: up to par. And with that in mind, Jennifer Oreos,
39:20
Speaker 1: the survivor in question here, has decided to sue Ghislaine
39:23
Speaker 1: Maxwell in the Manhattan Supreme Court. So obviously we're going
39:29
Speaker 1: to keep our eye on this and see what goes
39:32
Speaker 1: down as far as the lawsuit and what this means
39:37
Speaker 1: towards a compensation claim for her. But again, this is
39:42
Speaker 1: all very confusing, right? All of this stuff is crazy
39:47
Speaker 1: because we don't have all of the information available to us.
39:50
Speaker 1: So we got to try and put things together. But
39:54
Speaker 1: I would think, and I would certainly go out on
39:58
Speaker 1: a limb here and take a wild guess, that Jennifer
40:02
Speaker 1: is most certainly not taking anything from the compensation fund
40:05
Speaker 1: if she's going this next step and suing Ghislaine Maxwell. Now, again,
40:10
Speaker 1: I'm not positive that's the case, right? I mean, there
40:14
Speaker 1: might be some sort of other angle that we're not
40:18
Speaker 1: aware of here. But as far as I know, if
40:21
Speaker 1: you're going after the associates of Jeffrey Epstein or his employees,
40:26
Speaker 1: that makes it so you are not able to make
40:30
Speaker 1: a claim against the compensation fund. So I'm very interested
40:35
Speaker 1: to see where this goes. And we know that previously
40:41
Speaker 1: when she made her claims that Jennifer Arreaz also named
40:47
Speaker 1: other people in a lawsuit previously. And one of those
40:52
Speaker 1: people happened to be Leslie Groff. And in that previous,
40:58
Speaker 1: the previous complaint, it was Leslie Groff was the secretary.
41:04
Speaker 1: Simberley Espinoza was the executive assistant. And Ghislaine Maxwell was
41:10
Speaker 1: his accomplice. And that was what the original complaint is.
41:17
Speaker 1: And now we have this new action by the survivor here,
41:26
Speaker 1: Jennifer Arias. And it is suing Ghislaine Maxwell in the
41:32
Speaker 1: Manhattan Supreme Court. So I would guess that her and
41:36
Speaker 1: her team came to an impasse with the compensation fund.
41:39
Speaker 1: And they decided that the best route for them was
41:42
Speaker 1: to pursue... their case in other avenues in other venues
41:51
Speaker 1: because obviously what was going on down there as far
41:54
Speaker 1: as the compensation fund it wasn't something that they thought
41:58
Speaker 1: was acceptable to their client and that's just speculation on
42:03
Speaker 1: my part because if things were going correctly down there
42:07
Speaker 1: for for them you would think that they would hold
42:12
Speaker 1: off on this lawsuit and see the process through with
42:15
Speaker 1: the compensation fund. But without that occurring, I guess that
42:20
Speaker 1: we see here the next step, right? We see the
42:23
Speaker 1: next step and how some of these girls are going
42:27
Speaker 1: to go about this if they feel like they're not
42:29
Speaker 1: being taken care of correctly by the compensation fund. And again,
42:35
Speaker 1: I haven't heard anything in the news from any of
42:38
Speaker 1: the survivors talking about it. Right. So I'm not too
42:42
Speaker 1: sure which way it's going. And I'm just speculating here
42:45
Speaker 1: why she would be filing this suit. But you would
42:48
Speaker 1: have to think that it has to do with the
42:51
Speaker 1: compensation package being offered by the executors and those who
42:56
Speaker 1: are running the fund is not acceptable to her and
42:59
Speaker 1: her team. So let's jump into our article today and
43:03
Speaker 1: see what the New York Post has to say. This
43:07
Speaker 1: article is from the New York Post. The headline is,
43:10
Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell sued by Jeffrey Epstein accuser over trafficking allegations.
43:16
Speaker 1: This piece was authored by Elizabeth Rosner and Rebecca Rosenberg.
43:25
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein accuser Jennifer Oreos sued Ghislaine Maxwell on Monday
43:30
Speaker 1: for helping the dead pedophile recruit her as a sex
43:33
Speaker 1: slave at the age of 14. So you see what
43:37
Speaker 1: I'm talking about with the compensation fund, right? With the
43:39
Speaker 1: language in the compensation fund, it would seem to me
43:43
Speaker 1: that Mrs. Araz here is going after her own pursuit
43:51
Speaker 1: as far as compensation goes. And she's not going to
43:55
Speaker 1: partake in the compensation fund. And that's the way it looks, right?
44:03
Speaker 1: I mean, unless I'm missing something here. But it certainly
44:07
Speaker 1: looks to me that she has decided to strike out
44:11
Speaker 1: on her own and go after Maxwell in this Manhattan
44:16
Speaker 1: Supreme Court suit. So... I'm interested to get some clarification
44:22
Speaker 1: as the day moves forward and we hear more about
44:24
Speaker 1: this story. But it certainly looks to me as of
44:27
Speaker 1: right now that whatever happened with their negotiations with Indyke
44:33
Speaker 1: and Kahn and Feldman and the compensation fund either collapsed
44:38
Speaker 1: or were not acceptable to her. The lawsuit filed in
44:44
Speaker 1: a Manhattan Supreme Court under the Child Victims Act alleges
44:48
Speaker 1: that Maxwell used Epstein's wealth and power as a method
44:52
Speaker 1: to recruit her and other female victims. We've heard that
44:56
Speaker 1: story several times, right? How Maxwell was used to bring
45:02
Speaker 1: comfort to these girls, get them comfortable with the situation,
45:06
Speaker 1: and then she would deliver them to the jaws of
45:08
Speaker 1: the beast. And not only that, she would also, in
45:12
Speaker 1: some instances, participate in the abuse herself. The 32-year-old alleges
45:19
Speaker 1: that Maxwell provided organizational support to Epstein's sex trafficking ring,
45:24
Speaker 1: identifying and hiring the recruiters of underage girls for Epstein's
45:29
Speaker 1: sexual pleasure. So, what we're hearing here is, from Mr. Reyes,
45:36
Speaker 1: is that Ghislaine Maxwell was in charge of Hiring the
45:41
Speaker 1: recruiters and she was charged with organizing the recruiters like
45:46
Speaker 1: we all knew. She was the top of that pyramid there.
45:49
Speaker 1: She was in charge of making sure they did all
45:51
Speaker 1: of their duties and that the criminal enterprise was facilitated.
45:56
Speaker 1: And we see that here in the suit. Maxwell also
46:08
Speaker 1: scheduled massage appointments for Epstein with the girls. As a
46:12
Speaker 1: result of Maxwell conspiring with Epstein, Arreaz claims she suffered
46:19
Speaker 1: from physical injury, pain, emotional distress, psychological trauma, mental anguish, humiliation, embarrassment,
46:28
Speaker 1: loss of self-esteem, loss of dignity, invasion of her privacy,
46:33
Speaker 1: and a loss of her capacity to enjoy life. All
46:36
Speaker 1: of that sounds absolutely legit, right? Physical injury, check. Pain, check.
46:44
Speaker 1: Emotional distress, check. Psychological trauma, yep, that occurred. Mental anguish,
46:50
Speaker 1: you would think, Humiliation? That certainly fits the bill. Embarrassment? Yep,
46:54
Speaker 1: that as well. Loss of self-esteem? Yeah, you would think
46:57
Speaker 1: somebody getting abused by these sick bastards would lose all
47:01
Speaker 1: kinds of self-esteem, right? Loss of dignity? Well, that certainly
47:04
Speaker 1: falls under the category of that probably happened. I mean,
47:08
Speaker 1: can you imagine how you would feel? And to have
47:12
Speaker 1: to live with that day after day, wondering why you
47:16
Speaker 1: were chosen to be abused by these sick people, thinking
47:19
Speaker 1: there was something wrong with you, Thinking that it was
47:21
Speaker 1: your fault? And that's what these survivors have lived with
47:25
Speaker 1: ever since then. And it's absolutely disgusting to see that
47:31
Speaker 1: the compensation fund obviously is not working towards making that right.
47:41
Speaker 1: Arreaz had been the first person to sue Epstein's estate
47:44
Speaker 1: under New York's Child Victims Act in July 2019. which
47:49
Speaker 1: was eventually tossed out after he died. So she was
47:53
Speaker 1: suing him in the process of suing him when he died.
47:55
Speaker 1: And then, obviously, according to New York law, you can't
47:59
Speaker 1: sue somebody who is dead already. So they had to
48:03
Speaker 1: toss that case out. So, I mean, you go after
48:06
Speaker 1: the estate, obviously, but the person, not so much. In
48:11
Speaker 1: August 2019, she sued Epstein's estate, Maxwell, and three unnamed
48:17
Speaker 1: female household staff members. That lawsuit is still active. And
48:22
Speaker 1: we just talked about who that was. Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein,
48:28
Speaker 1: Kimberly Espinoza, Leslie Groff. So there were several people that
48:35
Speaker 1: she named that were all, you know, people that are
48:37
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein co-conspirators or alleged to be Jeffrey Epstein co-conspirators.
48:42
Speaker 1: And that suit that they were named in is still active.
48:47
Speaker 1: So this is another suit on top of the one
48:50
Speaker 1: that she already has going on. And I think that, again,
48:55
Speaker 1: what we can take from this article is it shows
48:58
Speaker 1: us that there's not much movement here with the compensation fund.
49:03
Speaker 1: At least not in this case because if there was,
49:07
Speaker 1: you would think that these suits would be halted and
49:10
Speaker 1: they would get the money, the reparations that they deserve
49:16
Speaker 1: from Epstein's estate. But instead, it looks like that. they're
49:20
Speaker 1: going after Maxwell and they're going after her in this
49:25
Speaker 1: manner because they couldn't come to a resolution elsewhere. I
49:32
Speaker 1: am once again able to take another breath as Ghislaine
49:35
Speaker 1: Maxwell will be in jail until at least her trial
49:38
Speaker 1: date next July. Arreaz said after she was denied bail,
49:45
Speaker 1: knowing that she is incarcerated for the foreseeable future allows
49:49
Speaker 1: me and my fellow survivors to have faith that we
49:52
Speaker 1: are on the right path. Lawyers for Arreaz did not
49:56
Speaker 1: immediately return a request for comment. So again, we're still
50:02
Speaker 1: seeing these lawsuits pop up even with the survivor compensation
50:08
Speaker 1: fund in play. And it just makes me wonder, what
50:11
Speaker 1: is really going on? With that survivors compensation fund. I
50:16
Speaker 1: know personally. I have zero faith. In Darren Indyke and Khan.
50:20
Speaker 1: Being executors of that fund. And I don't care. Who
50:24
Speaker 1: the administrators are. What other projects they worked on. The
50:27
Speaker 1: 9-11 compensation fund. Whatever it may be. I don't care
50:30
Speaker 1: about any of that. What I care about is that
50:33
Speaker 1: this fund. Is administered properly. There are thousands of dollars.
50:39
Speaker 1: Being spent. to house Epstein's old planes. What is that? Why?
50:45
Speaker 1: Sell them ASAP. Get rid of them. Put them on
50:49
Speaker 1: one of Jeffrey Epstein's huge properties. Why do they have
50:51
Speaker 1: to be put in storage somewhere? And meanwhile, as these
50:57
Speaker 1: idiots in the executors of the estate continue to play
51:01
Speaker 1: their games, money continues to be siphoned off of the
51:05
Speaker 1: estate that could be going to these survivors. So, I'd
51:11
Speaker 1: really like to see what's going on with that compensation fund.
51:14
Speaker 1: I'd like to get an update. I'd like to see
51:16
Speaker 1: somebody come out and talk about what's going on, where
51:20
Speaker 1: we're at with it. But again, we're at the, you know,
51:24
Speaker 1: we got to wait for the courts to do that.
51:26
Speaker 1: We got to wait for the courts to say it's
51:27
Speaker 1: okay or whatever the process may be. But this doesn't
51:31
Speaker 1: give me very much faith that things are moving in
51:34
Speaker 1: a correct direction. With Mr. Reyes filing this suit on Monday, yesterday,
51:40
Speaker 1: in New York, you would think that it is not
51:44
Speaker 1: a good look, at least from her point of view.
51:46
Speaker 1: And her and her team have decided to move in
51:50
Speaker 1: a different direction. And I wonder how many of the
51:54
Speaker 1: survivors and their lawyers are looking at the offers from
51:58
Speaker 1: the compensation fund and are not finding those offers acceptable.
52:04
Speaker 1: So it's going to be pretty interesting to see what
52:07
Speaker 1: goes on here in the next few weeks as far
52:09
Speaker 1: as the compensation fund goes and to see what goes
52:13
Speaker 1: on with Jennifer Arreos' suit here. Because if it keeps
52:18
Speaker 1: moving through the courts and we see it doesn't get
52:21
Speaker 1: paused or halted or anything like that, then that indicates
52:25
Speaker 1: to me at least that the compensation fund is not
52:29
Speaker 1: off to a very good start. So we will definitely
52:33
Speaker 1: keep our eye on that. All the other things that
52:36
Speaker 1: are going on, obviously, we're watching that closely as well.
52:40
Speaker 1: So as these things break, we will continue to cover them.
52:45
Speaker 1: These lawsuits that we see against Jeffrey Epstein, if the
52:49
Speaker 1: compensation fund, if that happens to break down, we will
52:52
Speaker 1: see an enormous amount of suits like this and from many, many,
52:58
Speaker 1: many survivors. So I think it definitely behooves the estate
53:02
Speaker 1: to do the right thing. But when you're dealing with
53:05
Speaker 1: endic and con, you probably should never expect the right
53:10
Speaker 1: thing to be done. If you'd like to contact me,
