- 0:00Bloomberg reports a 1% federal interest rate hike.
- 0:06I'm sorry. Wait, stop.
- 0:07I'm gonna start over. Hope my brain starts working.
- 0:13Bloomberg reports a 1% rate cut from the Federal Reserve could
- 0:19be coming down the road. What does that mean?
- 0:21What do you think that would mean?
- 0:22For the price of silver? For the price of gold?
- 0:26A 1% rate cut again article from Bloomberg where they interview
- 0:32one of the senior managers at one of the largest, most
- 0:35respected double line capital financial firms in the United
- 0:40States. But today, today, we're going to
- 0:43get a rate hike by the Fed .25%. We're going to cover that as
- 0:48well. But what would it mean for the
- 0:50markets? What would it mean for the price
- 0:53of silver and gold if this happens, like Bloomberg
- 0:56reported, and soon we see a 1% rate cut.
- 1:01We've also got a ton of doom and gloom to talk about.
- 1:06News from Home Depot. News from Europe's biggest
- 1:10airline. News from Starwood, a major
- 1:15default on a massive commercial real estate project in Atlanta.
- 1:21Guys, the hits keep coming, right?
- 1:23We know we're heading into some very challenging, difficult
- 1:27times. And when things get difficult,
- 1:30this 1% rate cut by the Fed could be here sooner than we
- 1:35anticipate. And again, we have been fighting
- 1:39with the Federal Reserve for the last year and a half, right that
- 1:43they have. They have killed the price of
- 1:44silver and gold. What would we see with gold if
- 1:49we get a 1% rate cut? It could be incredible.
- 1:53So we're going to dive right in. I want to read you some of this
- 1:57interesting information they put out from Bloomberg, from
- 2:01Bloomberg, no less, about this rate cut.
- 2:08Here we go. We're coming up.
- 2:10We're coming up. Here It comes deep recession.
- 2:13This is from Bloomberg. Deep deep recession to force
- 2:17full percentage point Fed cut Double line warns market should
- 2:22brace for a deep US recession that warrants A dramatic 1%
- 2:28point interest rate cut by the Federal Reserve.
- 2:31Warren Double line capitals. Jeffrey Sherman.
- 2:34Now guys double on capital manages $76 billion in assets.
- 2:41It was started by a guy, do you know who Jeffrey gun lock is?
- 2:45Do yourself a favor. Do a little bit of research on
- 2:47Jeffrey gun lock super respected financial guru, right.
- 2:53Everybody knows Warren Buffett. Everybody knows Charlie Munger.
- 2:56All these, you know, Bill Gates and Elon was, I'm telling you,
- 3:00OK. Jeffrey Gunlock is one of the
- 3:02sharpest minds out there. The people in the know know that
- 3:05he started double line capital. His firm is.
- 3:08Who's saying this? It could be big, big trouble.
- 3:14As we head forward, look up Jeffrey Gunlock.
- 3:18OK. It's a bold call based on
- 3:20weakening economic data. Weakening economic data That
- 3:24makes a recession probable next year for Sherman, coming even as
- 3:30the Fed is expected to hike further this week.
- 3:33Money markets are already betting on a total 130 basis
- 3:37points of cuts. So the markets thinking we're
- 3:40going to get cuts in 2024, the market right Don't listen to
- 3:44what the Fed says. Listen to what the market says.
- 3:48And the market is saying 1.3% cut.
- 3:51Basically, that's 130 basis point cut, a multitude.
- 3:57This is a quote, a multitude of economic indicators.
- 4:00We look at our flashing, either warning or recessionary signals,
- 4:07double line, Sherman said. He's the chief investment
- 4:10officer. By the time they cut, by the
- 4:12time they cut, it will need to be 1 full percent.
- 4:15So today, guys, we're going to get what we are expecting,
- 4:19right? the Fed and Jerome Powell, what
- 4:22do you think he's going to do? What?
- 4:24I mean, you know what? Let's think about this.
- 4:26He's going to do exactly what he's telegraphed to the market,
- 4:29a .25% raise. Sorry, I may have said cut, my
- 4:33brain is misfiring occasionally this morning.
- 4:36That happens to all of us, right?
- 4:37Maybe you relate, but we're going to get from the Fed today
- 4:40exactly what the market expects, their communications going to be
- 4:44exactly what it expects. We got double line capital.
- 4:48Look them up. All right.
- 4:50Jeffrey Gunlock. Jeffrey Gunlock goes on to CNBC.
- 4:54He's one of the only people. Jeffrey Gunlock, that's his
- 4:56company. He started at Double Line
- 4:58Capital. And he'll tell it like it is.
- 5:00And they're saying we got big warning signs coming from the
- 5:04economy. We're going to talk about what
- 5:07the ex CEO of Home Depot said. And it is frightening.
- 5:11We're going to talk about what's going on in commercial real
- 5:14estate. We're going to talk about what's
- 5:15going on in the banking sector because it's all frightening.
- 5:19And at the end, we're going to put it all together and see what
- 5:22we think this means for the silver price and the gold price.
- 5:28Now look again, my prediction, by the end of the week, we're
- 5:31going to have gold over $2000 per oz.
- 5:34Silver is going to take a little while to catch fire, but next
- 5:38week I think we could see Silver pushing up against $27.00 per
- 5:43oz. I could be dead wrong, but
- 5:45everybody's waking up. We've talked about this in the
- 5:49previous live streams, in the previous videos, right?
- 5:52Everybody, everybody knows what the feds going to do, but the
- 5:56people, Not us. We've already woken up, but the
- 5:59other people are going to start to wake up to how cruddy, how
- 6:03scary of an environment we're moving into just within
- 6:08domestically in the United States, right.
- 6:10And I don't know what country you're in and what you see where
- 6:13you are as well, but just domestically here things are
- 6:16challenging. Then factor in what's going on
- 6:20in the world, right? This major change we have right
- 6:24now in the world. The BRICS summit coming up in
- 6:27three weeks, four weeks from now.
- 6:30D dollarization. Major war.
- 6:33War. However, I'm supposed to
- 6:35pronounce it going on right now. I mean, come on, man, you know,
- 6:41just if things remain the same right now, the outlook for
- 6:45silver and gold look great. The outlook for the US economy
- 6:48doesn't look so great. Let me read to you what Fortune
- 6:52you want to hear what Fortune magazine had to say about the
- 6:54banking sector? You know, and overnight we get
- 6:57news. Pack W, That was another one of
- 6:59these troubled banks has been taken over mysteriously.
- 7:03Nobody really understands why by some other big California bank.
- 7:07The banking system is also in big, big, big trouble.
- 7:14Bear with me, I want to read you.
- 7:16This is fascinating information from Fortune magazine.
- 7:21Here it is. Fortune magazine.
- 7:24Fortune Magazine has this to say about the banks.
- 7:27Uninsured depositors remain a ticking time bomb.
- 7:32A ticking time bomb for the US banking system.
- 7:37OK, the failure. The failure of three sizable
- 7:40banks in March and April exposed major weakness in bank
- 7:43regulation. Who did what to whom?
- 7:46Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.
- 7:48Hold on here. Deposit Insurance and U.S. banks
- 7:54is provided by the FDIC. So the FDIC is supposed to
- 7:59ensure your deposits at the bank up to about $250,000.
- 8:04The reality is they hardly have any money, OK?
- 8:08And there's off camera conversations that were recorded
- 8:11during this banking crisis where they're like, oh, there's no way
- 8:13we could cover they don't have the money.
- 8:16But in theory, Americans sleep well at night knowing that if
- 8:19they have less than $250,000 in the bank, it's supposedly
- 8:23insured by the FDIC. The maximum amount covered is
- 8:27250 K Although there are ways that you can do it with multiple
- 8:33accounts, you can get more than two if you put it in different
- 8:36banks. Anyway, for most households,
- 8:38that's more than enough. Nevertheless, uninsured deposits
- 8:43are currently around 40% of all deposits, up from only 20%.
- 8:51So that means 40% of the money in banks.
- 8:54Who are these people? Are you one of those people?
- 8:57Do you have more than 250K in the bank?
- 8:59I don't. Sorry, I don't.
- 9:01Thank you for the Super chat. Oh, wow.
- 9:03Kirsten, my friend in Denmark, thank you very much.
- 9:08Appreciated. Do you have more than 250,000 in
- 9:12a bank? 40% of the money in banks is
- 9:16held by people who have more than 250,000, and it's not
- 9:19insured. OK?
- 9:22These uninsured deposits are a lurking problem for banking
- 9:26stability, especially in an era of online banking.
- 9:30This is interesting. Uninsured depositors are almost
- 9:34always slow to recognize the financial problems of their
- 9:38banks. But when they do, their
- 9:40reactions are fast and massive, and their withdrawals may well
- 9:45inspire large withdrawals at other banks, with highly
- 9:51disruptive consequences for the US economy.
- 9:55Contagion risk are real. So what they're saying is that
- 10:00when they do pull their money, they pull it fast.
- 10:02And think about this, guys. This is something that nobody
- 10:06talks about, but it's super important when we're talking
- 10:09about the health of the banks. You've got all these people with
- 10:13over 250,000 in the bank, right? I know it's you, you stinker.
- 10:19Anyway, this is something that's different now than any other
- 10:24time in history. Talk about bank runs when people
- 10:27realize, like, oh, I gave the bank 500 grand and the bank
- 10:32loaned it out on some commercial real estate that's, you know,
- 10:35worth a lot less. Or, oh, the bank bought a bunch
- 10:38of bonds that are worth a lot less.
- 10:39I want my money back from the bank.
- 10:42It used to be you'd have to get in your car, drive to the bank,
- 10:45talk to the banker, blah, blah, blah.
- 10:47Now what do you do? You pick up one of these, right?
- 10:51And you press a couple of buttons and you say, hey, Mr.
- 10:54Bank, I want to transfer my 500 grand from you to hear the bank
- 10:59runs can happen in an instant, right?
- 11:02They can happen instantaneously. There's no line outside the
- 11:07bank. I mean, there was, but in
- 11:09theory, you know what I'm saying?
- 11:10It does it make sense now if people want to drain the bank or
- 11:14they get scared about a certain bank going under, they just hop
- 11:18on their phone and and and withdraw all the money.
- 11:21It happens instantaneously. Things are happening at a much
- 11:24faster pace right now. We need to realize that it's a
- 11:28big, big deal other things going on in the economy right now that
- 11:34aren't so pleasant, right? The guys at U PS:.
- 11:39Apparently did settle their strike, so that's for them.
- 11:42That's a good thing. 340,000 truck drivers, Yellow Freight
- 11:47still in trouble. I want to read you.
- 11:49One of you sent me a very insightful message about yellow
- 11:53Freight. Let me read this to you.
- 11:56This came from actually this was a comment on one of the videos
- 12:00from a guy named Guy. A guy named Guy.
- 12:03And he knows Yellow Freight because he says Yellow Freight
- 12:06has been teetering on bankruptcy.
- 12:08Yellow Freight is the third largest trucking company in the
- 12:11United States. They move a lot of products for
- 12:14Walmart. They move a lot of products for
- 12:16Home Depot. What do you think would happen?
- 12:19Do you think they're important to the US economy?
- 12:21What would happen if they went belly up, if things slowed down
- 12:25precipitously for them? And listen to this, they've been
- 12:29teetering on bankruptcy for 30 years.
- 12:31They're the last large, decent trucking company, left out of
- 12:34hundreds back in 1979, before deregulation.
- 12:39That was the the destruction of a living wage, he says.
- 12:42I'm surprised they lasted this long.
- 12:45They teamed up with Roadway 30 years ago.
- 12:48What happened with that? In 1984, I was driving between
- 12:51Ohio and Chicago for Churchill, a good union company.
- 12:54I made double what they're paying today, and this was at 40
- 12:58years ago. It's all degrading.
- 13:00Lower, lower, lower, lower pay quality, lower quality
- 13:03employers. Lower everything but much higher
- 13:06government mandates and stupid rules by people who never got
- 13:09into a truck. Sounds like yellow U, PS:,
- 13:12etcetera. Need someone who can negotiate
- 13:15with big juicy shippers and tie up good contracts blah blah
- 13:20blah. If if your volume is expanding
- 13:22then times the money of competition or fixed rate would
- 13:26be sufficient. And honest accounting and frugal
- 13:29management. It would make lifelong quality
- 13:32employees. I was into postal contractors
- 13:35for 30 years. Also into real estate.
- 13:37OK, guys, So what guys saying and what he's telling us is
- 13:41yellow is a huge company. The trucking industry is screwed
- 13:46up right now. Why is it screwed up?
- 13:48Because the rates, right? They charge rates.
- 13:51Why are the rates down? Because there's not as much
- 13:54activity in the economy right now.
- 13:57The, the, the, the manufacturers aren't moving as many goods
- 14:01around. The retailers aren't moving as
- 14:04many goods around. What does that tell us about
- 14:08what's going on now? The the, the founder, the guy
- 14:12that built Home Depot had some very, very disturbing things to
- 14:16say. I want to share this with you as
- 14:18well. I don't want to be all doom and
- 14:19gloom, OK? But we can't live under a rock.
- 14:29Hold on a second here. Uh oh, did I lose it?
- 14:33Here it is. OK, here it is.
- 14:35Here it is. Former Home Depot CEO says US
- 14:40businesses have more uncertainty now.
- 14:45Well, there's more uncertainty now than any other time in the
- 14:48last 50 years, with economic pressures at the forefront of
- 14:54voters minds. One American business leader
- 14:57warned President Biden about being overconfident,
- 15:01overconfident in US fiscal health, He says.
- 15:04Quote I've been at this for 52 years and I think that I see
- 15:07more uncertainty now than I've ever seen in our country in
- 15:12running corporations across a broad sector of business.
- 15:16That's former Home Depot CEO founder Bob Nardelli.
- 15:21He says, quote, I was just in LA a couple of weeks ago.
- 15:24I paid $6.43 for a gallon of gas.
- 15:28So it still has a lot of pressure on us out there.
- 15:31He said, Quote, we hear about UPS potentially going on strike.
- 15:34We know that didn't happen. Some of the other things that
- 15:38are out there with United, the United Auto Workers.
- 15:41So I think we have more uncertainty.
- 15:44A Fox Business poll released Sunday showed that over half of
- 15:48primary voters say economic issues such as inflation, jobs
- 15:53and taxes will be most important in deciding their vote for for
- 15:59the nomination of the next president.
- 16:00What is this telling us? We're getting news from every
- 16:04sector. Things are difficult.
- 16:08That's the guy that started Home Depot, right.
- 16:10He's still closely tied to what's going on out there.
- 16:14And guys, it's not looking real peachy right now.
- 16:18Let's go to the Oh my gosh, we got 100 thumbs up.
- 16:21That means 10 rings of the bell. One ring of the bell for each
- 16:25ten thumbs up 1-234-567-8910. I'm going to grab a quick drink
- 16:32of water. I'll be right back.
- 16:52What do you think about the big Teamsters?
- 16:56340,000 truckers at UPS. Are you happy for him?
- 17:02I didn't realize there were that many of them out there.
- 17:05I'm kind of glad to see that they were able to negotiate for
- 17:09themselves more of a living wage because hey, you know, we know,
- 17:14you know, I know things are are are difficult out there right
- 17:18now. This is not an easy time.
- 17:21These guys that deliver packages to your house usually have
- 17:24families, house payments, all that good stuff.
- 17:27So it's actually good to hear that they got some concessions
- 17:32from U PS:. Hey, you know, none of us want
- 17:35to pay more. I'm sure U PS:.
- 17:37Will do a good job of passing on the additional expense to to
- 17:42their to their customers. What about commercial real
- 17:48estate? They say that's another ticking
- 17:51time bomb in the economy in the banking sector.
- 17:55Let's talk about something. This came out just a few days
- 17:58ago, OK? And it tells us a lot about
- 18:04what's happening. This is from Bloomberg again,
- 18:07right? Commercial real estate, nobody's
- 18:10renting, office space, nobody. And the big banks, right?
- 18:14When when you put your 250,000 in the bank, what do you think
- 18:19they did with your 250K? They either bought bonds that
- 18:22went down in value, or they could have also loaned it out to
- 18:26a commercial real estate developer, commercial real
- 18:29estate investor. And now that commercial real
- 18:32estate has dropped in value horribly, Listen to this
- 18:37Starwood defaults on a 213,000,000 Atlanta office
- 18:43mortgage. The loan was on Tower Place in
- 18:46the Buckhead area, and that's the fancy part of Atlanta.
- 18:50OK? Atlanta's vacancy rate hit 22%
- 18:57in June. Barry Barry Stern Licks Starwood
- 19:02Capital Group, right He's a billionaire.
- 19:05Is in default on a 213,000,000 mortgage-backed by an Atlanta
- 19:09office tower, another sign of mounting distress in commercial
- 19:15real estate. Go to an office park around you.
- 19:18I live in suburban St. Louis.
- 19:20We have office parks everywhere. All of the buildings when you
- 19:24drive by have BIG4 lease signs out in front of them.
- 19:28But guys, usually those buildings aren't owned by the by
- 19:33the officially they have mortgages on them.
- 19:35It's like a house, right? Somebody bought that office
- 19:38building, but they may be borrowed 50 million dollars, $20
- 19:42million, whatever the case may be to buy it 3458 years ago,
- 19:48whatever the case may be. And those loans get rolled over
- 19:52every two, three, five years. Now when they go back to the
- 19:56bank and say we need to renew our our loan and the bank says,
- 20:00well now the new rate, it's no longer 4%, the new rate is 9%.
- 20:06The developers looking and saying, the investors saying why
- 20:09I bought this building for 20 million and now it's worth 12
- 20:13million and it's only half full and now my my payment that I
- 20:18have to make is doubling. I think I'll just give it back
- 20:21to the bank, thank you very much.
- 20:23So then the bank says, OK, we'll repossess.
- 20:25Thank you for the Super chat, newbie 1 Silver.
- 20:28Thank you. Always appreciated, never
- 20:30expected. The banks are in trouble.
- 20:32And then you get the people that have, like we talked about
- 20:36earlier, that have more than 250,000 in the bank, right.
- 20:40And they say, you know what, my bank, I hear they're in trouble.
- 20:43They're getting all this commercial real estate sent
- 20:45back. All they have to do then is get
- 20:47on their phone and say, I want to transfer my money out of the
- 20:50bank. It could create big, big
- 20:53problems very quickly. OK.
- 20:57There's really no other way to say it.
- 20:59Like, everything's fine right now.
- 21:00Do you get that feeling? But is everything fine?
- 21:03Everything's calm. I heard Danielle Camboni talking
- 21:06to, I think it was Lynette Zhang at three or four days ago.
- 21:10And it's like, oh, there's this sense of everything's OK, right?
- 21:14They, the Fed can paper over everything.
- 21:16Paper over paper over one more time until it starts to break
- 21:22and it's like a dam break, and I'm sure you've heard that
- 21:24analogy. Does that make sense?
- 21:26When the dam breaks, guys, it goes quick and then it'll be the
- 21:30next big crisis. And what's going to happen, like
- 21:34we talked about at the beginning of this video, right then the
- 21:37Federal Emergency cut by 1%, just like the chief investment
- 21:43officer at Double Line Capital, the $76 billion investment firm
- 21:49says he think thinks is going to happen.
- 21:51And he's saying it could be as soon as early next year.
- 21:55And then what happens? Gosh, we need to remember what
- 21:59happens to silver and gold in that environment.
- 22:01You want to talk about a big price increase in silver and
- 22:05gold? Well, when we get a 1% rate cut,
- 22:07we're going to have a price increase like we've never seen
- 22:10before. Somebody thank you, new newbie 1
- 22:13silver for the Super Chat. Super chance are always super
- 22:17appreciated. OK.
- 22:19Right now I'm pure viewer, supported down here in the
- 22:23basement. So thank you.
- 22:25Hey, we're going for 25,000 subscribers as well.
- 22:29We only need about another 300. See Coin Shop.
- 22:31Chris, I told you I'd remember to say it and we appreciate it.
- 22:35If you subscribe to the channel, we'll put out a new piece of
- 22:37content every day, right. I'll be with you for, you know,
- 22:41you got friends here in Ron's basement.
- 22:43You can count me as a friend. I'll put out a piece of content
- 22:46every day. You can laugh at me.
- 22:48We can learn together. We can laugh together.
- 22:51OK. It's really cool that you join
- 22:53me. We are the basement dwellers.
- 22:55We are the Basement Dwellers, right?
- 22:58Our head is not in the sand. Our Head is in the basement.
- 23:02And we're going to we're going to make it through these choppy
- 23:04waters. Now, today we might get some
- 23:07choppy Waters. You know my prediction, right?
- 23:10Status quo not. I mean, gold.
- 23:12Last I checked. Somebody tell me, is gold still
- 23:15Spot gold hovering around 1970 per oz?
- 23:20And when we talk about gold, we're talking about silver.
- 23:22But somebody in the comments, let me know where gold's
- 23:25hovering right now, 1975. Rick Kukuritz, thank you. 1965,
- 23:39says Leaf. So the spot price is probably
- 23:411965, futures price, probably 1975.
- 23:45Do you know the difference between the spot price and the
- 23:48futures price? If you go to kitco.com, you can
- 23:51see the spot price. Thank you William for the Super
- 23:54chat, much appreciated. Thank you.
- 23:57The spot price, that's the immediate price of silver and
- 24:00gold. A lot of times, especially on
- 24:03the bullion websites, even Yahoo finance, when you look at the
- 24:06price they quote, that's the futures price.
- 24:09So that'll be. But the if you buy a contract to
- 24:12buy gold in the nearest month, futures, the nearest expiring
- 24:16contract, that's the price they'll quote.
- 24:19If I have that wrong, somebody fix me.
- 24:22OK. Hello, Michael.
- 24:23The bricks stuff got delayed. Yeah.
- 24:26What happened to the bricks? Remember, August 22nd was going
- 24:29to be. What do you think about the
- 24:31bricks? Let's dig into that for a second
- 24:34because that was going to be the biggest day ever for gold and
- 24:38silver investors. And.
- 24:40And and it was like there were like 3 weeks leading up where it
- 24:44was like this growing consensus that we're going to have a gold
- 24:47back currency. We're going to have a gold back
- 24:50currency over the last 7 to 10 days.
- 24:52That tune has changed. Now look, you know, I'm going to
- 24:56tell you guys, both sides of the coin, it feels like we're
- 25:00getting more and more info that's telling us maybe we're
- 25:03not going to get the gold back currency announcement on August
- 25:0722nd. I got a great e-mail this
- 25:09morning from Marcus in South Africa and he said the feeling
- 25:14there is that there's some discord, are some discontent
- 25:19amongst the BRICS members, right?
- 25:20Do they really trust each other? Do they really?
- 25:23Even in South Africa, they're starting now to question their
- 25:26alliance with China and Russia. So guys, I don't know.
- 25:30I don't know what's going to happen.
- 25:31At 3 weeks ago, I was pounding the table, OK?
- 25:35And I'm often wrong, but I was really feeling like we were
- 25:38going to get this gold back currency and a lot of people
- 25:41jumped on to that. But now we're hearing from like
- 25:45the Russian Central, excuse me, Russian Central Bank recently
- 25:49and some other sources saying that maybe it's not going to
- 25:52happen. I don't know, we'll just and
- 25:54we'll have to see what, what, what occurs.
- 26:02Let's talk about Europe. Okay, because Europe matters.
- 26:05We heard really bad. I mean what do you, what do you
- 26:08think? What does it mean when we got
- 26:10these horrible PMI numbers out of Germany earlier in the week?
- 26:15Germany. Now, we don't talk about Germany
- 26:17a lot, right? But Germany is a massive,
- 26:21sophisticated, wealthy economy. They are the Germans are smart
- 26:26people, hard working people and very efficient and their economy
- 26:30has grown, grown, grown. But we got news earlier in the
- 26:34week that the German economy is slowing down and people, if the
- 26:38big German banks right, the big fancy analysts telling us that
- 26:42Germany likely could be heading in to a recession, what does
- 26:48that tell us? Because we're tied, all tied
- 26:52together, right. That's what that tells us that
- 26:55that that if Germany's not doing well, likely that can bleed over
- 27:02into the United States. But but this, this is very
- 27:06interesting. This tells us something about
- 27:09what's going on in the world right now.
- 27:12Information we got. Hold on.
- 27:18This was from CNN. Yes, the Children's News
- 27:22Network. They say Europe's largest
- 27:26airline. Just sounded the alarm.
- 27:29Sounded the alarm. We have alarms.
- 27:31I need an alarm down here, right?
- 27:33On travel demand. Europe's largest airline.
- 27:38Let me let me give you a couple of the key points out of here.
- 27:41The travel industry has defied a global economic slowdown.
- 27:45Defied enjoying record bookings and profits as pent up demand
- 27:49following the pandemic field spending on air tickets and
- 27:53hotels. But that might may be starting
- 27:55to change. That may be starting to change.
- 27:58Ryanair Look, you may not have heard of that here in the US,
- 28:01but that's like Delta or United in Europe.
- 28:05Ryanair, Europe's largest airline by passenger numbers,
- 28:11warned Monday that high inflation and rising interest
- 28:17rates could dent the appetite for air travel in the
- 28:21second-half of the year. What are they telling us?
- 28:24High inflation and raising rising interest rates are
- 28:28slowing the economy, right? People aren't traveling as much.
- 28:34Very interesting, but it gets even more interesting.
- 28:38OK, quote, we're concerned about the impact of these
- 28:42macroeconomic trends, CEO Michael O'Leary said in a video
- 28:46posted on the company. They posted this on the company
- 28:49website, adding that they, quote, might affect consumer
- 28:53spending in the second-half of the year.
- 28:55The stock went down. Let's see here.
- 28:58Now this is where it gets interesting, Talks about how
- 29:01travel came roaring back after the pandemic.
- 29:03But But this is not a good sign. Guys, this is not a not, not
- 29:09happy news because last year O'Leary shrugged off concerns
- 29:15about the impact of Europe's expected economic downturn on
- 29:19Ryanair's business. He said they were overblown.
- 29:22So last year he was like, Dad, we had nothing to worry about.
- 29:24Things are great. You know, we're doing fine.
- 29:27That any concern is overblown. His comments on Monday show that
- 29:32his outlook has turned much more cautious.
- 29:35OK, So what is that telling us? A year ago right now, the CEO of
- 29:42of Europe's biggest airline was like, you know what?
- 29:45We're not concerned. Everything's OK today.
- 29:49What's he saying? He's saying I'm concerned.
- 29:52Things aren't looking good out there.
- 29:54This is not a an environment conducive to running a
- 29:59profitable, profitable business. I mean, I don't know, man.
- 30:03Everywhere we look it's telling us that that we've got
- 30:07challenges ahead. Let's head to the, let's head to
- 30:10the comments real quickly here. Hello, Ronnie.
- 30:14Hello, Robin Hood, Bo Barfield Coin Shop.
- 30:17Chris, thank you for being here. Richard Cooper says Germany are
- 30:22calling it a slow session. Yeah, you know, that's the other
- 30:26thing, right? We know there's all these
- 30:27challenges out there. And I I don't know.
- 30:32What do you think about this? I heard one of these analysts
- 30:34saying this the other day, like, oh, we don't really have
- 30:37recessions anymore. We just have slowdowns.
- 30:40We don't, we don't have recessions like we had back in
- 30:43the 80s or the 2000s. We just have slowdowns.
- 30:46And I think there's something very scary hidden within that.
- 30:51And what's scary hidden within that is, yeah, that means that.
- 30:55And we talked about this, right, the US economy, the world
- 30:58economy, because of all this debt.
- 31:01We have record amounts of debt, guys in the world.
- 31:05And you know what? Every little penny of that debt,
- 31:08every last dollar of that debt, somebody thinks they're going to
- 31:11get paid back. And there's mathematically no
- 31:15way all the debt can get paid back.
- 31:18So we're in a situation that's very delicate, very fragile.
- 31:23The world economy has become delicate, especially in the
- 31:27United States, guys. It is delicate and fragile right
- 31:31now. So when things happen, the Fed,
- 31:35the Treasury, like the little banking crisis back in March and
- 31:38April, they had an emergency meeting on a Sunday.
- 31:41This is not a big deal. We just had a emergency meeting.
- 31:44Don't worry about it. The banks are fine.
- 31:46We're going to do some backdoor or money printing and fix
- 31:49everything. So when we hear people say, oh,
- 31:53we're not going to have, we're never going to have recessions,
- 31:55We're in a new era and we've heard that before, right?
- 31:58I've heard that. I'm 53 years old.
- 32:00If you heard that, like, oh, things are different now.
- 32:03Things are never going to have a recession again, right?
- 32:05Maybe we won't have a recession. Maybe we'll torpedo right into a
- 32:11depression. I said it first.
- 32:13Now, I'm not saying, not predicting that, but that's what
- 32:17scares me. When you start to have people
- 32:20say no, everything's, you know, everything's fine.
- 32:23Have another beer, don't worry about it.
- 32:25Well, we don't have recessions anymore.
- 32:28Now we just have depressions. Or maybe they'll make up a new
- 32:31word for it. Like, you know, economic.
- 32:36Economic challenge. I don't know.
- 32:38Hey, Shadow Work. Thank you, my friend.
- 32:41Yes. This is a team effort.
- 32:43Susie upstairs, right? She's working coin shop.
- 32:47Chris Neil from Neil. Hans Donnie Dynasty buddy.
- 32:50Rumble helps out. Thank you, Shadow Work.
- 32:53We do our best to get out the news as we see it, OK.
- 32:58And a lot of the info that we are able to share comes from you
- 33:02guys. So send emails, comment on the
- 33:06videos because you guys help with this.
- 33:08This is a group effort and we appreciate what everybody, I
- 33:12mean, everybody does for us. So let's talk about what do you
- 33:17think Jerome's going to say today?
- 33:19It's going to be interesting, right?
- 33:21Our old friend Jerome Powell, we're going to get to hear from
- 33:24him this afternoon and I think there's two key things we need
- 33:28to remember #1 watch what they do and we know what they're
- 33:32going to do. There's like, I think the the
- 33:34markets are predicting like a 99.8% chance of a .25% interest
- 33:40rate hike. OK, watch what they do.
- 33:44Watch, read what they say, but don't believe what they say.
- 33:50And the press conference afterwards, very interesting.
- 33:53Watch his body language, watch, see if you can, if you can sense
- 33:57some nervousness in Jerome. Because when they they know
- 34:03what's really going on, and I'm telling you everything they say
- 34:07is a bunch of BS. Unfortunately, we wish it wasn't
- 34:12that way. We wish that our leaders here in
- 34:14the United States had handled this situation different.
- 34:17We're going to, we're going to. What do you think would happen
- 34:21to you? Let me ask you this question.
- 34:24This is a serious question. What do you think would happen
- 34:27to you if you had a bunch of debt, OK, Like a ton of debt,
- 34:31car debt, house debt, student loan debt, credit card debt.
- 34:37You had a bunch of debt, OKA pile of debt.
- 34:41And on top of that, let's say you had a job paying you 60,000
- 34:45per year, but you lived like you made 100,000 a year.
- 34:52What do you think would happen to you?
- 34:53What kind of situation do you think you would, you would mean,
- 34:56maybe you could juggle it for a couple years, right?
- 34:59For a little while, but eventually the hens would come
- 35:02home to roost. And we are in that situation
- 35:06right now. We are in a dire, dire situation
- 35:10in the United States financially right now.
- 35:14I know things are different. We're never going to have
- 35:16another recession, right? Joe Biden's new economic
- 35:20miracle, No, we are in a dire situation.
- 35:24I mean, think think about this. What do you think you would have
- 35:28said? Most of you are around my age.
- 35:30If 25 years ago right now, we had told you that the United
- 35:35States would have 30, two $33 trillion in debt and to make
- 35:43matters worse, that the country was continuing to spend much
- 35:47more money than it brought in to the tune of just owe another
- 35:51trillion. So we were adding an additional
- 35:54trillion to that already huge debt pile every single year.
- 36:00But wait, there's more. This is so key for us to
- 36:03understand, right? But that massive growing debt
- 36:07pile, they have to pay interest on that.
- 36:10Oh, and the interest rates are going up.
- 36:13So the higher level of debt at a higher interest rate level, that
- 36:17creates a massive interest rate expense.
- 36:20They're saying within 12 months we could be at like $1.3
- 36:24trillion a year in interest expense.
- 36:28And where does that get, what does that get added to?
- 36:30Well, that goes right back around.
- 36:32It's like a it's like a nasty circle, like a death spiral.
- 36:35That extra interest expense gets added on to the deficit, right?
- 36:41And where does that get added to?
- 36:42Well, that goes back to the big debt pile, guys.
- 36:45It's like a snowball that's rolling downhill, but it's
- 36:49already been rolling. Where we are right now is scary.
- 36:53It's already been rolling down the hill.
- 36:55It's about, you know, 2/3 or 3/4 of the way down the hill.
- 37:00It's growing massive. And it's it gets bigger.
- 37:03It grows exponentially bigger, Exponentially bigger.
- 37:07That's what Jerome Powell knows is going on, right?
- 37:09He understands, right? But but so they'll just print
- 37:12more. And what do they?
- 37:13What happens when they print more money?
- 37:16Because it's mathematically impossible that they don't.
- 37:19They dilute the currency or they make it worth less or worthless
- 37:24eventually. First, it's worth less than it's
- 37:27worth less. Let's go back.
- 37:30Since the start of the Fed, I've heard this several times in the
- 37:34past week, and it's disturbing that since the Federal Reserve
- 37:39was established, the United States dollar has lost 97% of
- 37:46its value. the US dollar, let that sink in right?
- 37:50This right compared to where it was when the Fed started A $2.00
- 37:55bill, right, is now worth $0.06. Think about that.
- 38:01What about this stuff? What is this stuff?
- 38:04Does anybody know what this is? Keep showing up on my desk.
- 38:08The shiny look at that. I love That Unicorn isn't that
- 38:11beautiful. I'm sorry.
- 38:12It shows up nice on the camera too.
- 38:14Yeah, what about this? Since the start of the Fed,
- 38:19right? This ounce of silver?
- 38:21Guess what? Oh, surprise, surprise,
- 38:24surprise. Gomer Pyle.
- 38:28For those of you who are in different countries, you may not
- 38:30know who Gomer Pyle is. Surprise, surprise, surprise.
- 38:33Sergeant Carter. This has maintained its value.
- 38:37Oh my God. We got 200 thumbs up 200 thumbs
- 38:44up. Thank you guys.
- 38:45I'm overwhelmed. Man. the Super chants are
- 38:48awesome. 200 thumbs up over 400 of you with us today.
- 38:53You guys are awesome. You guys are awesome.
- 38:57And we're not even touching on right.
- 38:59We're not even touching on what's going on in the world
- 39:03right now. OKI know you maybe are a little,
- 39:07maybe you're a little depressed. If you are, you're in the right
- 39:10place because you don't have anything to worry about, right?
- 39:14We thought there was going to be a gold back currency announced
- 39:17on August 22nd. Well, there's still a chance.
- 39:20There's still a chance it could. It could happen, but but there's
- 39:25still if you own that shiny white metal, If you own the
- 39:30shiny yellow metal gold, you're OK because the world is still
- 39:36changing like never before in your in my lifetime.
- 39:40It's not reported in the Evening News.
- 39:42OK, but it's happening. And if you read information,
- 39:46somebody sent me some great articles that were that that
- 39:51were were from the some of the BRICS countries about their
- 39:54perspective on what's going on. The world is changing like we've
- 39:58never seen before. D dollarization, it's not going
- 40:03to happen overnight, OK. We don't like it.
- 40:06I don't like it. Look, I already went through the
- 40:09whole debt situation, deficit situation, interest rate.
- 40:13It's a doomspiral. That our leaders have put us
- 40:16into. I love the United States.
- 40:18I love the Constitution. I love Thomas Jefferson.
- 40:21I really love Andrew Jackson. OK, these guys, they set us up
- 40:26and because of greed basically, right?
- 40:30Greed and and and power, power, hunger, especially post World
- 40:36War Two we we've had our leaders that have pillaged our country
- 40:40right. The Founding Fathers are We're
- 40:44in good company, right? They're rolling over in their
- 40:46graves. I would not want to go visit.
- 40:48If you go visit, you know, Andrew Jackson's grave or Thomas
- 40:52Jefferson's grave or or Washington or any of the people
- 40:55that wrote the Constitution, be ready to feel like there's an
- 40:58earthquake because those guys are rolling over in their graves
- 41:02with what this current regime over the last several decades
- 41:07have done to pillage our country.
- 41:10Right. If you have kids, if you have
- 41:11grandkids, I have twin 11 year old daughters.
- 41:15Hey, Mike Powell. Thank you, my friend.
- 41:17That is unbelievable. Wow.
- 41:20Thank you for the Super chat. We got a lot to be scared about.
- 41:24OK You know, I try to teach my kids that the, the stuff they
- 41:28teach them in school is great, right?
- 41:30They teach them how to do advanced mathematics.
- 41:32Already at 11 years old, my kids can write really well, all that
- 41:37great stuff. My daughter Evelyn wrote up this
- 41:38whole page essay the other night because she has a little Honda
- 41:42dirt bike. She wants to ride it when I'm
- 41:44not home and I won't let her. But she wrote out this.
- 41:47You know the kids. They're not teaching your kids
- 41:50the important stuff, right about stay out of debt, keep yourself
- 41:54out of debt, develop good, strong skills.
- 41:58No, they're teaching your kids. And bear with me, because this
- 42:01is important. How to become good little
- 42:04workers. Good little, good little slaves.
- 42:07OK. There's no other way to say it,
- 42:09right? Get yourself in debt.
- 42:10Here's what you do. Go off to college, get yourself
- 42:13in debt, and then get a job and spend the rest of your life
- 42:16trying to get yourself out of debt.
- 42:17Thank you, Doc. Right.
- 42:18Wow. Silver. 1 silver per once out,
- 42:23$100 million silver's. So we want to educate our kids
- 42:29and we want to educate ourselves and we want to do the best we
- 42:32can. Look, here's the thing.
- 42:34You want the perfect answer. You want you know this the
- 42:36perfect answer. The closest I can come to a
- 42:40thank you, Mike Tooper, man. You guys you guys are awesome.
- 42:44The. I mean, there's there.
- 42:45There's no perfect answer. Jay, hold on.
- 42:50Yeah. OK.
- 42:50There's no there's no perfect answer.
- 42:51I'll get back to that comment. But the most closest thing that
- 42:57I can come to perfect when it comes to cuz what?
- 43:00What if we if we boil it all down, we want safety and
- 43:03security for our family. We want to provide for our
- 43:06families and our loved ones and our friends, right?
- 43:08And for each other. And that's cool cuz I know
- 43:11everybody here shares that. And the closest thing I can come
- 43:16to is thinking silver, gold right now.
- 43:20Gold mining stock. So you can knock me for that.
- 43:23I understand. But physical silver metals,
- 43:26right that they are the close, they're the insurance policy,
- 43:30but they're an insurance policy. I don't care what anybody says.
- 43:34That has the potential potential to really provide you with some
- 43:40wealth as well right now when would that happen?
- 43:44Okay, let's talk about that. Let's talk about that.
- 43:46Let's say let's say that the glue comes apart on the on the
- 43:50system. We could get into a situation
- 43:53where the relative value of your ounces of silver, your ounces of
- 43:57gold go super high. Like we hear about these stories
- 44:01of oh, people bought. Do you think it's possible to
- 44:03buy a house a nice little, let's say 1500 square foot house for
- 44:08100 ounces of silver? It sounds absurd, I understand
- 44:11it does. But if we get into a extreme
- 44:19situation and I mean guys we got to remember something about the
- 44:26metals potentially potentially you we we feel like we're we're
- 44:32when we're here together we're part of a team.
- 44:34We're part of a group of people that kind of feel the same way
- 44:37and think the same way. We are not.
- 44:40We are a small, small, small segment of the population.
- 44:45We saw what happened during the banking crisis that happened in
- 44:51March and April just 3-4 months ago.
- 44:54You couldn't get silver think about and on a scale of 1 to 10,
- 45:02tell me. All right, here we go.
- 45:04This is a good. This is.
- 45:05I really want to hear what you think about this.
- 45:08So when the banking crisis hit, let me finish that thought.
- 45:10Then I want to ask you a question.
- 45:12When that banking crisis hit and they didn't even really call the
- 45:15crisis back in March and April, people freaked, right?
- 45:20People on their phones took their money out of the bank,
- 45:22whatever. You couldn't find silver.
- 45:24We've talked about that at Nauseam.
- 45:26You couldn't find silver. Silver price shot up the coin
- 45:30shops, nowhere, nowhere to be found, right, I don't think.
- 45:34I think on a scale. Here's what I think I well, I
- 45:37want to know on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being like the most
- 45:41extreme right and 0 being oh not a big deal at all, where did
- 45:46where would you rate, where would you rate that situation.
- 45:50And the reason I want to know is because I think that was like a
- 45:53two, maybe a 2 1/2 if we get a a big situation, a big crisis that
- 45:59unfolds, let's say something that's a 7 or an 8 right.
- 46:04I might say the, I might call the little health problem we had
- 46:07back in March of 2020, like a 8:00.
- 46:11What if we get another eight? What if we get a major situation
- 46:15because of all the geopolitical stuff going on?
- 46:18What, what do you think is going to happen to the value of silver
- 46:22and gold? Not, not.
- 46:24Not the price that's measured in dollars, that's measured in
- 46:28euros. Come on, man, right.
- 46:31We don't buy silver and gold. We convert Fiat toilet paper
- 46:37currency. I've got an envelope here of
- 46:39toilet paper. You guys want to see some Las
- 46:43Vegas toilet paper here? Here it is.
- 46:45Came all the way from England. Our friend Richard Cooper.
- 46:48This belongs to Neil Hahn. If I ever mail it to him,
- 46:52Richard Cooper sent this. He went to Las Vegas on a
- 46:56vacation and he brought it home, right?
- 46:59That's he calls that Las Vegas toilet paper.
- 47:06What do you think is going to happen to the value, not the
- 47:10price, the value of silver. That's when you can buy a small
- 47:15house for 100 ounces, possibly maybe 500 ounces, whatever.
- 47:22OK, you know what I'm saying? When when everybody freaks, when
- 47:28us, the one in 300 becomes 150 out of 300 people once over,
- 47:35right. I mean think about it.
- 47:37That's absolutely crazy. I mean that I know it's crazy
- 47:42talk, but throughout history, throughout the history of the
- 47:47world, we've had 150 out of 300 people want silver and one gold.
- 47:52So is it really that crazy to think that way, to think that we
- 47:55could hit a potential point where half the people in my
- 47:59neighborhood, instead of me being the only one who loves
- 48:03silver and loves gold, right. There's like 400 houses in my
- 48:06neighborhood where I live. Beautiful neighborhood,
- 48:09wonderful, nice people. Most of them are asleep.
- 48:14You know, they're watching Netflix, they're doing whatever.
- 48:17I'm the one out of the 400 that loves silver and gold.
- 48:22Trust me, I've tried to talk to almost all of them about it.
- 48:24None of them want to talk about silver and gold.
- 48:27What if suddenly 200 of the 400 households in my neighborhood
- 48:32because things got really crappy, wanted silver and gold?
- 48:36Can you even begin to imagine what the value of the silver
- 48:44that you have? Pick up a piece if you got one
- 48:46by you right, the value of that could become.
- 48:52I'm not predicting that tomorrow, next month, who knows
- 48:58next year. But that potential is there at
- 49:03minimum, what that's going to give us given the screwed up
- 49:06state of our financial system here in the United States, at
- 49:10minimum, At minimum, That's right.
- 49:13It's Sergeant Ron from Ron's basement.
- 49:16At minimum, it's going to maintain its value.
- 49:19Now think about that, think about that.
- 49:23But they'd sink in. You can buy physical silver.
- 49:26You can buy physical gold. You can buy physical platinum.
- 49:31And it's beautiful. You can hold it at minimum.
- 49:45Worst case scenario, it's going to hold its value.
- 49:49Right now there's some freaky offshot who knows, right?
- 49:52I mean, look, anything can happen, but I'm confident.
- 49:55Are you confident that at minimum, if you think at that at
- 50:00minimum it's going to hold its value type minimum in the in the
- 50:05in the chat? I want to see that.
- 50:06OK, but there's potential that you could you could harvest
- 50:13massive value from it at some point in the future.
- 50:17What else you gonna put your money in the bank?
- 50:20I I know you got over 250K. Just leave the 250K in there.
- 50:25Hello newbie. 1 silver. Thank you over another super
- 50:28chat. Much much appreciated.
- 50:31Right. Leave leave 250K in the bank.
- 50:34So you got your FDIC insurance that they're not so sure is
- 50:39going to be able to pay out, but you know, whatever.
- 50:42Yeah, they'll just print money and give it to you.
- 50:44Or are you going to buy metals? To me?
- 50:48Look, I've been buying metals. I don't know how.
- 50:50I don't know how many years you've been buying Minimum,
- 50:52Minimum, Richard Cooper, Minimum DNR, Dumpster Bear, Minimum Coin
- 50:56Shop, Chris Minimum, Mary Redcliffe, Gerald Draper, Debbie
- 51:01Gonzo, Uncle Nim, Coin Shop, Chris Mike, Trooper, Shadow
- 51:07Work, Annie Oakley. I've been buying these things.
- 51:12I don't. I don't know how many years
- 51:13you've been buying them. You know what?
- 51:16That's my next Hunter. Invested in Coke.
- 51:19I have no idea who the hunter is that you're talking about.
- 51:22That invested in Coke. Coke stock.
- 51:26You have to give us. What's the stock symbol for
- 51:27Coke? And who's this Hunter you're
- 51:29talking about? I do know that that the
- 51:34president's son has become a great artist, apparently like
- 51:38wealthy people. It's just a coincidence I'm sure
- 51:43by the president's son's artwork and somehow it's just a
- 51:49coincidence They also have some other interests political
- 51:52interests that are or agenda they need to have.
- 51:55But but then they just is there is they're thinking about their
- 51:58agenda. They just run into this
- 52:00incredibly beautiful artwork produced by the president's son.
- 52:06He is really talented artist. Let me tell you.
- 52:08He really is. Anyway, Coke drink.
- 52:15Yes, definitely. Yeah.
- 52:16Hunter invested in coke it. All right.
- 52:19Let me this is the next question.
- 52:21How many years have you been buying precious metals?
- 52:26I want to get a feel for you. The group, the audience put it
- 52:29in the chat. This will be very interesting.
- 52:31I've been at it for, oh gosh, I can say easily 15 years.
- 52:39OK. Would I rather had put that
- 52:42money and left it in the bank? Would I rather had put it and
- 52:46left it in the stock market? Honestly, maybe in the stock
- 52:49market from a dollar perspective it may have done a little
- 52:52better. But do you feel, I do I feel
- 52:58good about the metal that I own, the silver in the gold, right?
- 53:03I mean 22 years. Two years for Gonzo.
- 53:06Ancient time, 2/3 this year. 2 1/2 years for Jeff Nelson, 2017
- 53:12for Nith Shore, Three years for Paul Beeler and Williams.
- 53:16Bought seven years ago and then had to sell.
- 53:18Good, you're back at it. Smash the like.
- 53:20Hello Mary Radcliffe, Robin Hood.
- 53:22Five years for Gerald Draper. Three years ago for Raven,
- 53:25Tennessee, 40 years. Awesome.
- 53:28Buddy Silver was $4.00. Wow, Probably 15 years.
- 53:32Annie, you and I are about the same 15 years.
- 53:36Richard Cooper, Mike Cooper, Silver Sports.
- 53:40Autumn Mitchell, Ronnie, Ronnie, Ronnie Casarez.
- 53:43Wesley Silver Sports Garden. Four months.
- 53:47Good. Keep up the good work.
- 53:49It's never too late. It's never too soon.
- 53:53I always do recommend dollar cost averaging into your metals
- 53:56purchases. That's always just my opinion.
- 54:01But when I think about the the money that I converted into
- 54:06precious metals, I never regret it.
- 54:09And I got a great story. It was 3 summers ago.
- 54:14I bought my first junk silver, right 90% silver.
- 54:17I remember I went to my local coin shop, Scotsman Coin.
- 54:20I bought it. It was in this burlap bag.
- 54:23Bring it home. I'm at the kitchen table.
- 54:26Susie's cooking something in the kitchen which always smells
- 54:30great. Susie is an unbelievably great
- 54:32cook. And I'm.
- 54:36Hold on. I'll get back to that Azor.
- 54:38I'm, I'm, I'm. I'm looking at this.
- 54:40This junk silver, constitutional silver with some 90% silver.
- 54:45And I'm thinking man, did I make a mistake, you know, that like
- 54:48remorse. I don't want to call it buyers
- 54:51converters remorse. We'll call it because I
- 54:53converted paper into real metal. And I thought, man, did I make a
- 54:57mistake. You know?
- 54:59And I remember I brought it down and I put it with my other
- 55:01stuff. And I look back now.
- 55:04And that sure wasn't a mistake. The other thing that's not a
- 55:07mistake is how grateful I am that you guys joined me here in
- 55:11the basement. It is so important that we stick
- 55:15together, guys. OK.
- 55:17You're a basement dweller. When you're down here with me,
- 55:19you're welcome here. We're going to have a big, big
- 55:22party when Silver. Like the silver bear.
- 55:25Schmitty there. Let me show you.
- 55:26Schmitty. You can't see him.
- 55:27Hold on a second. Oh, yeah.
- 55:30I got my red shorts on Smitty here.
- 55:40Let's put Smitty right here. Oh shit.
- 55:42Shoot. Did you hear that?
- 55:44I think it's the first time I ever cursed Smitty.
- 55:48Smitty the Silver Bear. When Silver gets to $85 right,
- 55:52his blindfold comes off and we are going to have a big party.
- 55:57I'm not joking. Coin shop.
- 55:58Chris and I are getting an RV. We're going to pick up Buddy
- 56:01Rumble. We're going to pick up Neil from
- 56:03Neil Hans Dynasty. We're going around the country,
- 56:06right? Chris claims he's going to strap
- 56:08me to the roof at night because we're going to eat Taco Bell
- 56:11every day, but nonetheless, we'll see how that plays out.
- 56:14But we will come to visit you, right?
- 56:16Because when that happens, who knows?
- 56:19It could even be $100 silver by then.
- 56:21We're going to have a great time, right.
- 56:25Hey, thank you. Autumn Mitchell sounds rowdy.
- 56:29100 years ago. Ancient Tom.
- 56:31That is awesome. You know, I'll tell you another
- 56:35quick story. I have two Morgan silver dollars
- 56:39that I often bring with me to work.
- 56:41I work at a little park at night.
- 56:43I I own businesses. It's kind of semi retired 15 and
- 56:47I've got a best job in the world.
- 56:49Beautiful park by my house called Faust Park and they have
- 56:52a historic village where they moved all the old log cabins,
- 56:56school houses. There's like 20 buildings in
- 56:58this little historic village when they were developing this
- 57:02suburban suburbia that I live in, all these buildings from the
- 57:06mid 1800s. I have two Morgan Silver
- 57:09dollars, OK? One's from 1822 and one's no
- 57:161870 and ones from, I don't know, 1850.
- 57:20I don't know any. Anyway, the 1800s.
- 57:24And I was driving past the historic village last night on
- 57:27my way to my little building where I work.
- 57:30And I thought, you know what? I had those in my on my council,
- 57:34in my car. I thought if somebody, when they
- 57:37were removing these buildings, found, you know, these two
- 57:41silver dollars hidden in the wall, there's still valuable
- 57:45today. There's still have the same
- 57:47value that they had when the guy hit him in the wall of the
- 57:52school house or the wall of the old mercantile store or the wall
- 57:56of the old house, right, Because there's a bunch of houses in
- 57:58there. But if the guy had stuck some
- 58:01paper money in the walls, it probably wouldn't have survived.
- 58:04And if it had, it wouldn't have its value.
- 58:06It's going to be an interesting day, guys.
- 58:09Buckle up, right? Fed day could be crazy.
- 58:11You know my prediction? We're going to be a middle of
- 58:14the road. Everything exactly as expected
- 58:18and not a big move in the metals prices today.
- 58:21I could be dead wrong. You can call me out.
- 58:23I'll eat crow tomorrow if I'm wrong.
- 58:26I hope I'm not. I, you know, keep gold at this
- 58:2919501980 range, but that later in the week we're going to have
- 58:37a not a rocket ship, right? I don't like rocket ship.
- 58:40We're going to have a steady increase in the metals prices.
- 58:43And is all this other bad stuff that we have going on right now?
- 58:48What the CEO of Home Depot said, what the Ryanair CEO said the
- 58:52biggest airline in Europe, you know, what the trucking
- 58:56companies are telling us is all that bleeds through, right?
- 58:59And we know what's really going on out there in the coming
- 59:03months that we're going to have a nice steady rise in the metals
- 59:07prices. Don't make any investment
- 59:09decisions, right? Don't do anything crazy.
- 59:11Thank you for the Super chat. Run, hey, run, run, Super chat
- 59:16and a good name. I appreciate it.
- 59:18OK. Because I'm wrong sometimes,
- 59:21right. Often times I'm right.
- 59:23And you know, one thing we know for sure that I've heard this
- 59:27said before, you know, when it when it rains and it's been
- 59:30raining on us for a while, it feels like it's never going to
- 59:33stop raining. But I'm telling you, the basic
- 59:37conditions out there for the price of silver and the price of
- 59:40gold and the price of platinum are changing.
- 59:42And we could be, you know, getting some wind in our sails.
- 59:47OK, We just got a little bit of wind and we've been fighting a
- 59:50good fight. I'll end with that.
- 59:52We got to remember, despite the fact that gold and silver
- 59:56investors have had the wind blowing in their face, they
- 59:59fought a good fight. I appreciate you.
- 1:00:02I appreciate you being here. Thank you.
- 1:00:04Thank you, Coin shop, Chris for everything you do.
- 1:00:07OK, Susie. And thank you.
- 1:00:09Right. It's not Ron Tube, it's YouTube.
- 1:00:11And I'll see you soon.
