Why Isn't Your Roof on the Dashboard?
A roof sensor went into alarm on a holiday weekend. Forty-five minutes later, water was in three more zones.
The roof gets a twice-yearly walk-through while every other system is monitored. This episode makes the case for electronic leak detection and embedded moisture sensors that put the roof on the same dashboard.
In this episode:
- Embed monitoring at your next reroof, while the assembly is open
- Target sensors at drains, HVAC curbs and penetrations
- Keep every ELD report and alert log as evidence
