- 0:00Speaker 1: Mister New York. It's Mark Simone on wor.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Wow. We'll get to the new Air Force one, We'll
- 0:09Speaker 2: get to the crazy, insane budget of New York and
- 0:13Speaker 2: a whole lot more. Hey, yesterday was the Big Barrett
- 0:18Speaker 2: Media Summit. Barrett Media is the bible of the radio industry.
- 0:22Speaker 2: It's a three day convention. All the top talk show
- 0:26Speaker 2: hosts in the world radio. Actually now it's radio, music,
- 0:30Speaker 2: sports talk that come in from all over the country,
- 0:32Speaker 2: all the top radio executives. Yesterday three days. First day
- 0:37Speaker 2: is all talk radio. Today it's all sports radio. I
- 0:41Speaker 2: was going to go to today's but I'm looking at
- 0:43Speaker 2: the schedule and I don't know what name on here.
- 0:46Speaker 2: I don't listen to sports radio. Tomorrow's Music Day. All
- 0:50Speaker 2: the top DJs, music people, music executives, radio ex that
- 0:55Speaker 2: will be speaking. But yesterday was great. It was all
- 0:57Speaker 2: talk radio, a lot of great speakers. It was Jimmy
- 1:00Speaker 2: Fayala and Adam Carolla and Buck Sexton and Stephen A.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Smith and just a whole incredible lineup star studded. There
- 1:10Speaker 2: were stars, there were studs, all kinds of things going
- 1:13Speaker 2: on there. And then I got a big award at
- 1:15Speaker 2: the end of the day. Several people did. In fact.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Check out my instagram Mark Simone NYC at Instagram you
- 1:22Speaker 2: can see some pictures of the Barrett media conference. Curtis
- 1:27Speaker 2: was there. Normally he's got the red jacket. He had
- 1:30Speaker 2: this dark blue jacket. Guardian Angels look much I thought,
- 1:35Speaker 2: much nicer. And that's what happened in reading the blue
- 1:37Speaker 2: is our dress jacket. It was like the police. They
- 1:40Speaker 2: got dress blues. It was really nice looking. But take
- 1:43Speaker 2: a look at the pictures you'll see on my Instagram.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Mark Simone NYC at Instagram. If you have stock in Facebook,
- 1:52Speaker 2: it's now called Meta. The stock you know, the IPO
- 1:56Speaker 2: was a few years ago and it really went from
- 1:58Speaker 2: like ten dollars to five hundred. Been a big stock,
- 2:01Speaker 2: although for the last uh you know period, it was
- 2:04Speaker 2: nicked down a little. Well, it's just leaped up here.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Meta has popped up because the company made a big
- 2:12Speaker 2: announcement they're going to do a cloud push to sell
- 2:17Speaker 2: excess AI computing power capacity. No I got some Meta stock.
- 2:23Speaker 2: I said, Wow, this is great. I don't know what
- 2:26Speaker 2: the hell they're talking about. I don't know what the
- 2:28Speaker 2: hell that is. What does that mean? You're going to
- 2:30Speaker 2: cloud push to sell excess AI computer power capacity. All right,
- 2:38Speaker 2: whatever the hell it is, it must be good because
- 2:40Speaker 2: the stock went wigh up. Hey, the new air Force One,
- 2:43Speaker 2: the President saying it's the greatest plane he's ever been on.
- 2:47Speaker 2: And remember, he knows a lot about planes, unlike other presidents.
- 2:51Speaker 2: He's bought a million private jets through the years for himself,
- 2:55Speaker 2: he's owned an airline, buying lots of big jets for
- 2:58Speaker 2: an airline, so he really knows this stuff. And it's
- 3:02Speaker 2: absolutely spectacular. It's so big. And you know, the Air
- 3:07Speaker 2: Force One for sixty years had those same colors, the
- 3:11Speaker 2: light the baby blue and you know, very soft pastel
- 3:15Speaker 2: kind of colors. Well, this air Force One, the President
- 3:18Speaker 2: had it painted dark blue, real red, red, white and blue.
- 3:23Speaker 2: You know, which makes more sense. Actually, it's like the
- 3:26Speaker 2: American flag makes a lot more sense. Now. A lot
- 3:29Speaker 2: of people are upset because they wanted him to keep
- 3:32Speaker 2: the traditional Air Force One colors that it's always been Democrats, particularly,
- 3:36Speaker 2: of course, you know, they hate anything Trump does. But
- 3:40Speaker 2: those colors, that light blue, it's actually, I guess it's
- 3:43Speaker 2: a Tiffany blue, like Tiffany's that soft pastel colors that
- 3:47Speaker 2: was actually designed by Jackie Kennedy. She picked that out
- 3:52Speaker 2: in nineteen sixty. So a lot of people are saying,
- 3:56Speaker 2: if a Democrat wins the presidency, they're going to repaint
- 3:59Speaker 2: Air Force one back to those colors, just to be
- 4:02Speaker 2: anti Trump. But the plane is spectacular. Go on line,
- 4:05Speaker 2: look at the pictures that it has the biggest, most
- 4:09Speaker 2: luxurious bedrooms. And you know, normally when the president goes
- 4:13Speaker 2: somewhere to New York to wherever, he's got to stay
- 4:17Speaker 2: in a hotel, and it's usually the Presidential suite at
- 4:20Speaker 2: the wall door for the Presidential suite at the Beverly
- 4:24Speaker 2: Wilshire or the bel Air Hotel. You might as well
- 4:27Speaker 2: just stay on the plane, whatever airport is. Just live
- 4:30Speaker 2: on the plane while you're in town, because there's no
- 4:33Speaker 2: hotel suite anywhere that it's going to look better than
- 4:36Speaker 2: this plane. In those bedrooms, they're absolutely amazing. And it
- 4:41Speaker 2: just goes to show you the Qatari leader, this isn't
- 4:44Speaker 2: like an extra plane. He didn't want. They buy better
- 4:47Speaker 2: planes than the entire United States of America does. So, hey,
- 4:51Speaker 2: Peter Tile, you know, he's a brilliant guys, a little strange,
- 4:54Speaker 2: but he's a great guy. Peter Teal, brilliant tech billionaires,
- 5:00Speaker 2: founder of a PayPal, he was one of the original
- 5:02Speaker 2: guys of Facebook, invented a million things, tech genius, multi billionaire.
- 5:07Speaker 2: So all of a sudden he's picking up stakes moving
- 5:11Speaker 2: to Florida, Miami. You know, you got all this stuff
- 5:15Speaker 2: moving to Miami. Billionaires, hedge funds, companies all moving to Florida. Well,
- 5:19Speaker 2: this is a big deal. Peter Tial's moving to Miami.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Just spent a fortune, in fact, I think set an
- 5:24Speaker 2: all time record for price per square foot commercial space
- 5:28Speaker 2: office space, and he's talking about bringing the whole tech
- 5:32Speaker 2: world to Florida. Now the Miami area, you know, it's
- 5:37Speaker 2: Silicon Valley in California. And then about fifteen years ago
- 5:42Speaker 2: they started setting up in New York down in the
- 5:44Speaker 2: meatpacking district. Google has two, actually three enormous buildings. Twitter
- 5:49Speaker 2: has a huge building, and in the meatpacking district where
- 5:52Speaker 2: all the tech companies are. They call that Silicon Alley,
- 5:56Speaker 2: as opposed to Silicon Valley. So Peter Till looking to
- 5:59Speaker 2: get this whole thing going in Miami, and they're gonna
- 6:01Speaker 2: call it Silicon Beach. It's in I think the Brickell
- 6:05Speaker 2: Brickel's section of Miami. But that could bring a ton
- 6:10Speaker 2: of money, a ton of billionaires. This is all because
- 6:13Speaker 2: Florida has the best policies under do Caucus, Florida has
- 6:17Speaker 2: the best tax it does no state tax. Uh, they're
- 6:20Speaker 2: trying to get rid of property tax. It's a great
- 6:22Speaker 2: place to live and do business, Florida. And because of
- 6:25Speaker 2: the great leadership of DeSantis, it's crime free, it's tax free,
- 6:33Speaker 2: it's a regulation. It's wonderful. But you got to remember
- 6:38Speaker 2: the all could move there and set up and get
- 6:41Speaker 2: it booming in you know, six years from now whatever,
- 6:45Speaker 2: you get a crazy mom Donnie elected and then all
- 6:47Speaker 2: of a sudden it goes crazy and you're all gonna
- 6:49Speaker 2: have to get the hell out of there. So you say, well,
- 6:51Speaker 2: that can't happen. Well, it happened here. He had Rudy
- 6:55Speaker 2: Giuliani got rid of all the crime, greatest mayor ever
- 6:58Speaker 2: in history, cleans up the crime, cleans up in New York,
- 7:01Speaker 2: gets the budget fixed there, the economy's booming. Bloomberg comes in,
- 7:06Speaker 2: continues at Ray Kelly gets rid of it, keeps all
- 7:09Speaker 2: the crime perfect. Then all of a sudden they elect
- 7:13Speaker 2: a crazy Deblasio it all goes to hell. Then they
- 7:16Speaker 2: go to Eric Adams, who stays just as bad. Then
- 7:18Speaker 2: they go to Mom Donnie. So these things can happen.
- 7:21Speaker 2: That's the problem. When you get at Giuliani or a Trump,
- 7:24Speaker 2: as much as they can fix it up, when they leave,
- 7:26Speaker 2: you get a Deblasio puts it right back to what
- 7:28Speaker 2: it was. So now in New York, Mom Donnie and
- 7:31Speaker 2: the city Council have approved this new budget that is
- 7:36Speaker 2: considered the most ludicrous budget ever in the history of
- 7:40Speaker 2: the world. One hundred and twenty six billion dollars. That's
- 7:44Speaker 2: the budget of New York City. That's about five times
- 7:48Speaker 2: what it should be. It's absolutely insane. It's much much, much,
- 7:52Speaker 2: much much bigger. It's more than double the budget at Florida.
- 7:56Speaker 2: The whole state of Florida. Florida is like twenty five
- 8:00Speaker 2: million people. New York's eight million. Florida has three times
- 8:03Speaker 2: as many people. The budget is half of what New
- 8:06Speaker 2: York City is. Florida's got a lot of major cities.
- 8:09Speaker 2: It's got Tampa, it's got Orlando, it's got Miami. The
- 8:13Speaker 2: budget is half a New York City's budget. This is
- 8:17Speaker 2: absolutely ridiculous. The reason it's so preposterously insanely high. This
- 8:22Speaker 2: budget is. They overpay like crazy, they waste money like crazy.
- 8:28Speaker 2: It's just unbelievable. And this is all Mom Donnie pushing this.
- 8:31Speaker 3: Throughout this process, I've been reminded of the words of
- 8:33Speaker 3: the Austrian economists Friedrich Hayek. If socialists undertood economics, they
- 8:37Speaker 3: wouldn't be socialists. If these past months have shown us
- 8:40Speaker 3: anything it is that socialists not only understand economics just
- 8:43Speaker 3: as well as the capitalists who came before, but that
- 8:46Speaker 3: we can solve their years of mismanagement through an embrace
- 8:48Speaker 3: of our principles.
- 8:49Speaker 2: What the hell is he talking? First of all, if
- 8:51Speaker 2: you understood anything, you wouldn't have a budget that's absolutely preposterous, ludicrous,
- 8:57Speaker 2: eight times what it should be. By the way, with
- 9:00Speaker 2: all this out of control, ridiculous spending, there's not another
- 9:04Speaker 2: penny for the NYPD, No more money for the NYPD.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Julie men and the city council speaker.
- 9:11Speaker 1: He called me late last night to tell me it's
- 9:14Speaker 1: not a decision I agree with. We have now a
- 9:17Speaker 1: police force that is less than on nine to eleven,
- 9:19Speaker 1: yet the city has grown substantially.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Yeah, we've got more problems, more people, but we have
- 9:25Speaker 2: less police than we had at nine eleven. It's absolutely insane.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Here's a Kami mom down here.
- 9:30Speaker 1: I've been talking to all agency heads about ways to
- 9:33Speaker 1: find savings, and Commissioner Tish and I were able to
- 9:36Speaker 1: identify ways to keep the NYPD headcount at the originally
- 9:40Speaker 1: authorized thirty five thousand while also meeting all of our
- 9:43Speaker 1: crime fighting needs.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Yeah, you need to remember the Giuliani days. You had
- 9:48Speaker 2: think forty two thousand. At one point thirty thousand whatever,
- 9:52Speaker 2: it is way too low. As far as Jessica Tisher member,
- 9:55Speaker 2: she's not really a police person. She did work previously
- 9:58Speaker 2: in the police department, but in the Idea Tea area.
- 10:01Speaker 2: She's got no actual police experience. She's trying to keep
- 10:05Speaker 2: things under control, but I don't know, and you always
- 10:08Speaker 2: hear the rumor that she's about to leave, about to leave.
- 10:12Speaker 2: She's basically very ambitious, wants to be mayor, so she's
- 10:17Speaker 2: trying to go along with everything, waiting for the right
- 10:21Speaker 2: moment to strike. I guess, but this is not good.
- 10:23Speaker 2: This budget is absolutely preposterous. There's no reason for it.
- 10:27Speaker 2: You can cut the budget by one hundred billion without
- 10:30Speaker 2: blinking and bring everybody's taxes way down. That would not
- 10:34Speaker 2: be hard to do. So yesterday a lot of there
- 10:39Speaker 2: were some primaries, crazy kooky left wing Democrats getting voted in,
- 10:45Speaker 2: people that have been their establishment types voted out. So
- 10:51Speaker 2: what does this mean for twenty twenty eight, Well, Kamala
- 10:56Speaker 2: Harris wants to run. She's kind of making that appearance.
- 10:58Speaker 2: She's running around doing certain interviews, saying certain things, makes
- 11:02Speaker 2: it look like she wants to run. Now, the problem
- 11:05Speaker 2: is they're these crazy left wing radicals, I mean, this
- 11:09Speaker 2: new breed of nutjobs. She could try to be one
- 11:11Speaker 2: of them, but she's tied to Biden, who's you know.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Apparently it's not just that they hate Jews, they hate Israel,
- 11:19Speaker 2: that they're Marxist socials, but they hate the establishment, the
- 11:23Speaker 2: Democratic establishment, they hate Schumer, they even hate Hakeem Jeffries,
- 11:27Speaker 2: and they want to throw them all out. So the
- 11:29Speaker 2: promise is you, Kamala Harris, you're tied to Joe Biden.
- 11:32Speaker 2: There's nobody more establishment, more old dinosaur than Joe Biden.
- 11:37Speaker 2: So she's gonna have to explain to herself to them,
- 11:43Speaker 2: what she why she's not Joe Biden, why she's not
- 11:46Speaker 2: tied to all him. Also, she vice president for four years.
- 11:50Speaker 2: She's going to have to point to something she accomplished
- 11:53Speaker 2: as vice president. There is nothing she was made the
- 11:56Speaker 2: borders are never visited the border and was a total disaster.
- 12:00Speaker 2: She was given a couple of other tasks completely screwed
- 12:03Speaker 2: them up. So it's going to be tough to run. Also,
- 12:07Speaker 2: she's a babbling idiot. She can't debate, She's always drunk
- 12:12Speaker 2: and looks like a goofball. This is not going to help.
- 12:15Speaker 2: She turns down interviews that are tough, which is not
- 12:18Speaker 2: a good idea. You got to go do these tough interviews,
- 12:21Speaker 2: get yourself in shape, you know, train on them. So
- 12:25Speaker 2: who becomes the candidate? Newsom is falling fast in the polls.
- 12:29Speaker 2: And if you want, you know, if you have these
- 12:31Speaker 2: crazy left wing socialist, Marxist anti sebmit, you're not going
- 12:36Speaker 2: to like new him. He looks to establishment too slick,
- 12:39Speaker 2: looks like a salesman. I don't know who could it be? Now?
- 12:43Speaker 2: Shapiro Josh Shapiro, the Pennsylvania governor, a very good guy.
- 12:48Speaker 2: He wants to run, but he's Jewish. In this anti
- 12:51Speaker 2: Semitic democratic climate, that's not going to help a lot
- 12:55Speaker 2: of people think Pete Bodhajetge could maybe maybe rise up
- 12:59Speaker 2: into this because boodhaje Edge is a scheming, conniving, little
- 13:04Speaker 2: weasel of a guy who could also easily pretend to
- 13:07Speaker 2: be a left wing socialist Marxist. And he has sort
- 13:12Speaker 2: of a record. He didn't really do anything. He was
- 13:15Speaker 2: Transportation Secretary, but he didn't do a damn thing. He
- 13:18Speaker 2: was on maternity leave for most of it. He was
- 13:22Speaker 2: just I mean, when you do absolutely nothing, it kind
- 13:26Speaker 2: of can help you sometimes with this crowd because you've
- 13:29Speaker 2: got no record, and he's a good talker, he's weasley enough,
- 13:34Speaker 2: and again he's flexible enough to go whatever way the
- 13:39Speaker 2: wind is blowing. It doesn't actually believe anything, stand for anything,
- 13:43Speaker 2: so that could help him in this case. So keep
- 13:47Speaker 2: an eye on Botagest. It looks like he's talking about
- 13:49Speaker 2: rising up here. Hey, you got these crazy writers. This
- 13:53Speaker 2: is New York Times, Maggie Haberman. Who's the other guy,
- 13:57Speaker 2: Jonathan Swan. They put out this crazy book with all
- 14:00Speaker 2: kinds of stories about Trump and and things, the horrible things.
- 14:04Speaker 2: But a lot of people pointing out these two don't
- 14:06Speaker 2: know a damn thing. Trump pointing that out in truth
- 14:09Speaker 2: Social and they keep quoting in detail situation room meetings
- 14:14Speaker 2: as if they have audio of it. Trump saying, because
- 14:17Speaker 2: they've apparently investigated, there is absolutely no audio that they have.
- 14:21Speaker 2: They do not have the recordings they imply they have. Also,
- 14:24Speaker 2: remember it was Maggie Haberman and this other one that
- 14:27Speaker 2: brought you the Russia hoaks, so they've conned you before.
- 14:30Speaker 2: There's another one. This is a little wormy character, Michael Wolfe,
- 14:35Speaker 2: who is working on another book, and now he's claiming
- 14:37Speaker 2: that there's a there's a couple of there's a few
- 14:40Speaker 2: Trump aids. There's Margo Martin, there's Natalie Harper, a very
- 14:43Speaker 2: good looking young women. Trump likes to, you know, good
- 14:46Speaker 2: looking people around. But wolf now implying that Natalie Harp
- 14:51Speaker 2: has been staying late with the present, trying to imply
- 14:54Speaker 2: she's some sort of Monica Lewinsky. This is absolutely ridiculous.
- 14:58Speaker 2: This Michael Wolfe, a wormy character, very very closely tied
- 15:04Speaker 2: to Epstein. Michael wolf very very tied to Epstein. In fact,
- 15:09Speaker 2: if you go through the Epstein files, you'll find thousands
- 15:13Speaker 2: of examples of Epstein and Michael wolf plotting to bring
- 15:16Speaker 2: down Trump bad guy close Epstein associate doesn't have any
- 15:21Speaker 2: knowledge of anything in the White House or Trump doesn't
- 15:24Speaker 2: have a single reliable source on anything. So don't take
- 15:28Speaker 2: them seriously. Oh even though they put them on those
- 15:31Speaker 2: Sunday shows or ZNN or MSNBC, don't take them seriously. Hey,
- 15:36Speaker 2: we'll take some calls. Next. Eight hundred three to two
- 15:38Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is the number eight hundred three
- 15:42Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten.
