  Faith that changes everything. There are moments in life when
• 0:15
  everything feels heavy at once. Fear, confusion, stress,
• 0:19
  temptation, disappointment, and spiritual exhaustion can pile up
• 0:23
  until your heart feels crowded and restless.
• 0:26
  In those moments, it can seem like peace is very far away.
• 0:30
  Proverbs chapter 13 verses 21 to 22 reminds us that disaster
• 0:35
  pursues sinners, but the righteous are rewarded with
• 0:38
  good. Then in Mark chapter 5 verse 9,
• 0:42
  Jesus speaks to a man whose life had been overwhelmed by
• 0:44
  darkness, and the man replies, My name is Legion, for we are
• 0:49
  many. That story is intense because it
• 0:52
  shows a life that looked completely out of control, but
• 0:56
  it also shows the absolute authority of Jesus.
• 0:59
  What no one else could fix, Jesus confronted.
• 1:02
  What no one else could come, Jesus, brought into order.
• 1:06
  The man who had been bound, isolated, and tormented was
• 1:09
  restored by the presence and power of Christ.
• 1:12
  Maybe your life does not look like that on the outside, but
• 1:15
  internally it can still feel chaotic.
• 1:18
  Maybe your mind is crowded. Maybe your emotions feel all
• 1:21
  over the place. Maybe you are carrying hidden
• 1:24
  battles that no one sees. And maybe you wonder whether
• 1:27
  change is really possible. Mark chapter 5 reminds us that
• 1:32
  Jesus is not intimidated by the places in us that feel most
• 1:35
  broken. At the same time, Proverbs
• 1:38
  reminds us that our choices matter.
• 1:40
  Sin is not harmless. It opens doors to pain.
• 1:44
  But righteousness, by God's grace, leads toward life.
• 1:48
  So this is not only a message about Jesus rescuing us from
• 1:51
  chaos, it is also a call to stop making peace with the things
• 1:55
  that keep feeding the chaos. Jesus does not just manage your
• 1:59
  mess, He transforms it. He brings peace where there was
• 2:03
  torment, clarity where there was confusion, and dignity where
• 2:06
  there was shame. Whatever feels too big for you
• 2:09
  is not too big for him. Let's pray.

  Heavenly Father, thank You that nothing in my life is beyond
• 2:16
  your power. When my mind feels crowded and
• 2:18
  my heart feels overwhelmed, help me turn to You.
• 2:21
  Instead of giving in to fear, break every chain that keeps me
• 2:25
  bound and teach me to walk in the freedom you give.
• 2:28
  Help me choose what is right and trust that You can bring peace
• 2:31
  into every place of chaos. In Jesus name, Amen.

  Bible They came to the other side of the sea, into the

  country of the Gadarenes. When he had come out of the

  boat, immediately a man with an unclean spirit met him out of

  the tombs. He lived in the tombs.

  Nobody could bind him anymore, not even with chains, because he

  had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the

  chains have been torn apart by him and the fetters broken in
• 4:32
  pieces. Nobody had the strength to tame

  him. Always night and day in the

  tombs and in the mountains. He was crying out and cutting

  himself with stones. When he saw Jesus from afar.

  He ran and bowed down to him and crying out with a loud voice he

  said, what have I to do with you?

  torment me. For he said to him, Come out of

  the man, you unclean spirit. He asked him, what is your name?

  He said to him, My name is legion, for we are many.

  He begged him much that he would not send them away out of the

  country. Now on the mountainside there

  was a great herd of pigs feeding.

  All the demons begged him, saying, Send us into the pigs,

  that we may enter into them at once.

  Jesus gave them permission. The unclean spirits came out and

  entered into the pigs. The herd of about 2000 rushed
• 5:27
  down the steep bank into the sea, and they were drowned in
• 5:29
  the sea. Those who fed the pigs fled and
• 5:33
  told it in the city and in the country.

  The people came to see what it was that it happened.

  They came to Jesus and saw Him who had been possessed by demons

  sitting clothed and in his right mind, even him who had the

  Legion, and they were afraid. Those who saw it declared to

  them what happened to him who was possessed by demons and

  about the pigs. They began to beg him to depart
• 5:56
  from their region. As he was entering into the

  boat, He who had been possessed by demons begged him that he

  might be with him. He didn't allow him, but said to
• 6:06
  him, Go to your house, to your friends, and tell them what
• 6:09
  great things the Lord has done for you, and how he had mercy on
• 6:12
  you. He went his way and began to
• 6:15
  proclaim into capitalists how Jesus had done great things for
• 6:18
  him, and everyone marveled. When Jesus had crossed back over
• 6:23
  in the boat to the other side, a great multitude was gathered to
• 6:26
  him, and he was by the sea. Behold, one of the rulers of the
• 6:31
  synagogue, Jairus by name, came, and seeing him, he fell at his
• 6:35
  feet and begged him much, saying, My little daughter is at
• 6:38
  the point of death, please come and lay your hands on her, that
• 6:42
  she may be made healthy and live.
• 6:45
  He went with him, and a great multitude followed him, and they
• 6:48
  pressed upon him on all sides. A certain woman who had a
• 6:52
  discharge of blood for 12 years and had suffered many things by
• 6:55
  many physicians, and it spent all that she had and was no
• 6:59
  better, but rather grew worse. Having heard the things
• 7:03
  concerning Jesus, came up behind him in the crowd and touched his
• 7:06
  clothes. For she said, If I just touch
• 7:10
  his clothes, I will be made well.
• 7:12
  Immediately the flow of her blood was dried up, and she felt
• 7:15
  in her body that she was healed of her affliction.
• 7:18
  Immediately Jesus, perceiving in himself that the power had gone
• 7:21
  out from him, turned around in the crowd and asked Who touched
• 7:25
  my clothes? His disciples said to him, You
• 7:29
  see the multitude pressing against you, and you say, Who
• 7:32
  touched me? He looked around to see her who
• 7:34
  had done this thing. But the woman, fearing and
• 7:37
  trembling, knowing what had been done to her, came and fell down
• 7:41
  before him and told him all the truth.
• 7:43
  He said to her daughter, Your faith has made you well.
• 7:47
  Go in peace and be cured of your disease.
• 7:49
  While he was still speaking, people came from the synagogue
• 7:52
  ruler's house saying, Your daughter is dead, why bother the
• 7:56
  teacher anymore? But Jesus, when he heard the
• 7:59
  message spoken, immediately said to the ruler of the synagogue,
• 8:03
  don't be afraid, only believe. He allowed no one to follow him
• 8:08
  except Peter, James and John, the brother of James.
• 8:12
  He came to the synagogue ruler's house, and he saw an uproar,
• 8:15
  weeping and great wailing. When he had entered in, he said
• 8:18
  to them, Why do you make an uproar and weep?
• 8:21
  The child is not dead, but is asleep.
• 8:24
  They ridiculed him, but he, having put them all out, took
• 8:28
  the father of the child, her mother, and those who were with
• 8:31
  him, and went in where the child was lying.
• 8:34
  Taking the child by the hand, he said to her, Telleth Acumi,
• 8:38
  which means being interpreted, Girl, I tell you, get up
• 8:41
  immediately. The girl rose up and walked, for
• 8:43
  she was 12 years old. They were amazed with great
• 8:47
  amazement. He strictly ordered them that no
• 8:50
  one should know this and commanded that something should
• 8:53
