- 1:38Speaker 1: Basically, the concept is pretty simple.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Uh, we are required to drink two drinks before we get started.
- 1:43Speaker 1: The idea is that, uh, it kind of relieves the um uh the filter.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Actually, I don't think puddin, and I have much of one regardless, but I think it's more for kim.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Yeah, well, it is what it is but uh, we go live once a month.

- 3:38Speaker 2: Gotta thank them a lot.
- 3:39Speaker 1: I feel like we should host a party somewhere.
- 3:42Speaker 1: I like we should host a party somewhere.
- 3:50Speaker 1: I mean, they've, in the community, purchased the beer, so they've done everything right.
- 3:51Speaker 1: It wasn't for them.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Uh, again, thanks to our buddy, kevin shook, bringing us back here to east studios.
- 3:53Speaker 1: We're happy to be back here and, uh, we hope you guys are excited and uh, you know it's been when we do one of these last it's been a while, like october, I think it was august.
- 4:03Speaker 1: August, it's been a minute.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Yeah, it has been a minute.
- 4:06Speaker 1: A lot of Like.
- 4:06Speaker 3: October, I think it was August.
- 4:07Speaker 3: August, it's been a minute.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Yeah, it has been a minute.
- 4:08Speaker 3: A lot of shit has happened.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Yeah, it's been that long.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Yeah, it was right at the start of trivia and we've been running trivia since December.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Yeah, but it was before that.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Huh, yeah, it's been a minute.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Yeah, we're not going happened, just uh, still get recognized yesterday.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Did you really trivia?
- 4:28Speaker 1: Yeah, oh the trivia.
- 4:29Speaker 1: That chaos ensues.
- 4:29Speaker 1: That's the funniest part is is yeah, I'm a lot of people talk to me now about trivia and it's like you know, I only did that for a few months, but I did that podcast for six years.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Nobody cares about that, apparently well, yeah, well, we'll find.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Maybe we'll figure out what we're best at there you go.
- 4:44Speaker 1: It is Memorial Day weekend.
- 4:46Speaker 1: If you are watching us live and or if you're listening to this recorded, if we make references to any of that stuff, you'll understand why.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Yep, and I guess, without that, I guess we just jump into it.
- 4:59Speaker 1: All right, let's do it.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Let's start with, let's do the giblets.
- 5:04Speaker 3: You want the giblets?
- 5:04Speaker 3: Yeah, let's.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Let's start with uh, let's do the giblets.
- 5:07Speaker 3: You want the giblets?
- 5:07Speaker 3: Yeah, let's do the giblets.
- 5:08Speaker 1: All right, let's see here I had some options, so we will so the giblets, if uh, while you're looking those up, yeah, um, actually explain what you do so the giblets are just like fun facts, it's just like random stuff that you don't necessarily I mean.
- 5:24Speaker 3: Some people may know it, but you know it's fun and fun and knowledgeable.
- 5:29Speaker 1: So the whole concept of after two beers is it's like the four of us, the three of sitting here and you, the listener, are hanging out at a bar or a bonfire or in somebody's basement and you're just bullshitting and you've got that one person that brings up random shit all the time and that's what the giblets are.
- 5:50Speaker 1: There it is.
- 5:51Speaker 3: It's like I always gotta be bringing up old stuff.
- 5:53Speaker 3: Do you guys hear about this?
- 5:54Speaker 1: Right, yeah, and then Puddin is gonna bring in.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Am I the Asshole?
- 5:57Speaker 1: Which is the essentially?
- 5:58Speaker 1: It's like people going.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Now wait a minute.
- 6:03Speaker 3: What if this was you?
- 6:04Speaker 1: I had a friend, that I'm not saying.
- 6:07Speaker 1: And then I bring up uh occasional news stories that don't get shared on the six o'clock news to make you feel better about yourself right the ones you really want to hear the ones that you might see on cops.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly actually there's cops involved in most of these, yeah, so there you go.
- 6:26Speaker 1: So, uh, let's jump into a giblets.
- 6:28Speaker 1: What, what order?
- 6:29Speaker 1: Some random shit, we didn't know.
- 6:31Speaker 3: You know what it's basketball season, so you know I saw this one about Larry bird.
- 6:35Speaker 3: Okay, you know he was the man.
- 6:37Speaker 3: So Larry bird once got bored halfway through a game and decided to challenge himself.
- 6:48Speaker 3: By only shooting left-handed, he scored 20 points using only his left hand.
- 6:50Speaker 3: I believe it okay.
- 6:50Speaker 3: And then something else I heard was that like he did so well and like he was just like kind of taunting the other team I'm like, yeah, I just really wanted to like you put it out there, he was the.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Take some time off, yeah take some time off on my right hand, so I could use it for a better team.
- 7:05Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, I actually I heard a story about him the other day from other players and I forget the team they were playing but he was pissed off that they put a white guy on him to guard him.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Yeah, he's like you seriously put a white guy on me and he's a white guy.
- 7:22Speaker 1: I mean, it's just just he was so good and it's one of those things that I don't know that uh gen z and others that uh um didn't get a chance to watch him play.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Right, he was way better than people understand and he was an amazing shooter.
- 7:37Speaker 1: But, as puddin say said is from what I've heard, he is a incredible shit talker.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Oh yeah, and he would back it up.
- 7:44Speaker 2: He was going to pull over here.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Two-step fade away swish.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Oh man, and he would back it up.
- 7:51Speaker 3: It was interesting watching.
- 7:52Speaker 3: That's for sure you could not stop him.
- 7:53Speaker 1: I actually got to do a press conference with him in his office one time when he was the coach of the Pacers.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Oh nice.
- 8:09Speaker 1: And I walked in and him and like two or three other stations there was like five, six of us in the room and he's sitting there drinking a beer, a draft beer, and smoking a cigarette and I'm like this is freaking awesome.
- 8:13Speaker 3: That's like the coolest thing.
- 8:13Speaker 3: You're like can I just stay and hang out?
- 8:13Speaker 3: Yeah, hey, how many more of them beers you got oh my gosh, so all right.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Well, there you go, so that's our first one they talk about michael jordan that way that he would intentionally create something to make him motivated to play that other team.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Even though it never happened Right To him, it did yeah.
- 8:34Speaker 1: And so there you go.
- 8:34Speaker 1: You know you're freaking good when you can change your hand in the middle of a game and still drop 20.
- 8:40Speaker 3: I can't even open a door with my left hand.
- 8:42Speaker 1: so there's that I can't even open a door with my left hand.
- 8:46Speaker 1: So there's that.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Here's one for you.
- 8:47Speaker 1: It's so random, I'm just going to throw this out there.
- 8:48Speaker 1: This is where the after two beers comes in.
- 8:50Speaker 1: You talk about not being able to do things with your left hand.
- 8:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:55Speaker 1: I worry in my life, if I ever break my right hand, how I'm going to wipe my ass.
- 8:58Speaker 1: I do too.
- 9:00Speaker 1: I seriously like.
- 9:03Speaker 2: You get one of them sticks.
- 9:05Speaker 3: Like you hook it up and like you clamp the toilet paper and hope that you don't gouge yourself.
- 9:10Speaker 1: I think that you've got to hang a towel in your bathroom.
- 9:12Speaker 3: Like a hammock.
- 9:14Speaker 1: And then just get over it, and you should have a wet one.
- 9:18Speaker 1: And a dry one, right, and you've got to get the order right, you should buy a bidet at that point.
- 9:23Speaker 3: I was going to say bidets became very popular when we had, you know, the great toilet paper outage several years back, I got to run home.
- 9:30Speaker 2: I got to shit on the water fountain.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Yeah, you just shit and hop in the shower.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Oh, there's something I worry about that kind of stuff.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I never thought about that, but thanks for putting that in my head.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I never thought about that, but thanks for putting that in my head.
- 9:44Speaker 1: alright, now you're going to be like the moment your hand breaks, it's like I'm going to have dirty ass for the next four to six weeks.
- 9:49Speaker 3: I can't drive, I can't wipe.
- 9:51Speaker 2: I ain't going to be able to sleep tonight can't shampoo my hair, did you say you?
- 9:55Speaker 3: can't drive no, I don't know how I would like reach over to shift gear or whatever it's not like you drive a stick, no, but you put it.
- 10:06Speaker 1: You put it in d and you call it a day.
- 10:11Speaker 3: That's not the first time I've heard that all right, all right.
- 10:16Speaker 1: So this one's pretty interesting.
- 10:22Speaker 3: So after his friend's eyes froze over from removing fog goggles during a test flight, john McCready began working with Bosch and Lomb to create goggles better suited for flights into the upper atmosphere.
- 10:35Speaker 3: So he was a pilot right.
- 10:37Speaker 3: Using his original shape, tint and fit, the design would become the Ray-Ban aviators.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Ray-Bans are going to keep your eyes from goofing over, right?
- 10:48Speaker 3: I guess the original goggles did.
- 10:49Speaker 3: They were probably like sealed yeah.
- 10:52Speaker 2: He was yeah, so that's where the Ray-Bans came from.
- 10:54Speaker 2: It's just like little grapes, he's.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Oh man.
- 11:00Speaker 3: All right, chicago deep dish.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Anybody like some.
- 11:04Speaker 3: Oh, giordano, my favorite, oh, but you know, Giordano's is not the original.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Is it?
- 11:11Speaker 1: Oh, what's the other big one up there?
- 11:12Speaker 1: Don't tell me.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Don't tell me.
- 11:16Speaker 1: Oh, I'm going to hide it.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Don't Lou Almaty.
- 11:23Speaker 3: Nope, ah Nope, all right, the deep dish pizza was invented in 1943.
- 11:29Speaker 3: When someone at the small pizza shop then Pizzeria Uno in Illinois decided to make a pizza using a cake mold.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Really, yeah, frickin' delicious, it's so good.
- 11:41Speaker 1: I also think they put potato in their crust and it's just.
- 11:44Speaker 1: I'm serious.
- 11:45Speaker 3: Really, yeah, I think it's amazing.
- 11:46Speaker 3: They make it so that it's just I'm serious, really, yeah, I think it's amazing.
- 11:47Speaker 3: It's just like got a better consistency okay you know, you can get giordano's now in the indie.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Yeah, it's so good.
- 11:54Speaker 2: You only haven't we.
- 11:55Speaker 1: I'm a big dude and I can eat one slice that oh, it is like it should be something that you can buy by the slice.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Can't take a shit for three days because of all the cheese it's in too, but it's good it is I.
- 12:05Speaker 3: I doubt that's the case, but whatever yeah, it's, I'm pretty regular I'm drinking enough beer to bypass that, so, um, here's another one here.
- 12:17Speaker 3: During the prohibition era, the us government made an exception for whiskey to be sold through pharmacies.
- 12:23Speaker 3: As a result, the walgreens pharmacy chain grew from 20 retail stores to almost 400, absolutely so that's kind of how walgreens started on your market.
- 12:35Speaker 3: That's right walgreens is now like huge, and it all started because they could sell some whiskey yeah, the cause and cure to all the world's problems, that's the facts.
- 12:48Speaker 3: All right.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Um, let's do this one.
- 12:51Speaker 3: Danny trejo got his first acting job when visiting a patient he was doing substance abuse counseling for on the set of runaway train.
- 13:00Speaker 3: He was then offered a job as an extra in the film's prison scenes well, look at him right, he was just like helping people with their rehab.
- 13:09Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, the guy looks scary as shit.
- 13:12Speaker 1: If you didn't know him and he was pissed at you, you'd be like, oh, this is how it goes.
- 13:16Speaker 3: I wouldn't want to see him in a dark alley.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 13:19Speaker 3: He does Like.
- 13:20Speaker 3: He just looks like he would.
- 13:21Speaker 3: He's got a kick tattoos and stuff on it.
- 13:29Speaker 3: Oh man, that's when you know you've made it life right yeah, all right, do we want to do one more?
- 13:32Speaker 3: Let's do one more all right, those of you out there wearing calvin klein's obsession for men.
- 13:38Speaker 3: You may not want to do it in the jungle or at a zoo, so tigers, jaguars and leopards love the smell of Calvin Klein's obsession for men.
- 13:49Speaker 2: How about cougars.
- 13:50Speaker 2: I know that was going to be my joke you done, stole it.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Oh, walked right into that one.
- 13:55Speaker 3: But this fragrance is used to lure the big cats to cameras in the wild.
- 13:59Speaker 3: So, like the cameramen and Really.
- 14:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:02Speaker 1: You think it'd be like catnip or Right no.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Cheeseburgers.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Calvin be like catnip or right, no, cheeseburgers.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Obsession for men.
- 14:13Speaker 1: It's good for tigers jaguars and leopards and possibly cougars.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Yeah, well, let us know.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Yeah, do you like it?
- 14:20Speaker 3: maybe, maybe working already.
- 14:21Speaker 1: That's right 60 of the time it works all the time.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Yeah, it's got real pieces of Panther in it, remember that.
- 14:30Speaker 1: All right.
- 14:31Speaker 1: All right, puddin.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Are you ready to do the?
- 14:32Speaker 1: Am I the asshole?
- 14:34Speaker 2: I've got it.
- 14:34Speaker 2: It's a short one, but it's that's what she says.
- 14:40Speaker 1: It's all in how you deliver it.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Basically, like the title says, am I the asshole for teaching my four-year-old niece to say el chupacabra?
- 14:48Speaker 2: what so basically, like the title says, my sister has a habit of saying you know what really gets my goat?
- 14:55Speaker 2: She probably says it seven, eight times a day.
- 14:58Speaker 2: So, like the tumblr post, I taught my niece to say el chupacabra.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Whenever her mom says it it sounds more like el El Supacabra, but it's cute, though she's four.
- 15:10Speaker 2: I told my niece it's a monster in Mexico that eats goats and she didn't seem scared or anything, probably because it's the only monster she knows is Cookie Monster.
- 15:20Speaker 2: But apparently my niece now walks around the house saying El Chupacabra all day, and now my sister and brother-in-law are mad at me for teaching her this, but in my opinion it's kind of adorable and also harmless, so is that?
- 15:35Speaker 3: really what it means?
- 15:36Speaker 3: Is it a monster that eats goats?
- 15:38Speaker 2: El Chupacabra yeah, it's a mythical monster, that eats goats, oh, okay.
- 15:41Speaker 2: El Chupacabra.
- 15:43Speaker 1: El Chupacabra.
- 15:43Speaker 1: I think it's funny.
- 15:45Speaker 1: It could be way worse it could be.
- 15:46Speaker 1: You could have taught her a lot worse, oh yeah.
- 15:48Speaker 1: I got to tell you.
- 15:49Speaker 1: There is nothing more funny to me.
- 15:50Speaker 3: I was going to say my niece probably knows more.
- 15:52Speaker 1: When you see a little kid cuss, it is the funniest thing.
- 15:56Speaker 3: Especially when they're using it in the proper context.
- 15:59Speaker 1: I remember one time yes, yes, I was at a buddy's house when I was in elementary school.
- 16:13Speaker 1: I was probably in the third or fourth grade and he had a little sister that she might have been two or three, okay.
- 16:16Speaker 1: So we're in the front room and it's her, um, my buddy and me and his mom and his grandmother and the grandma said something to the sister and the sister says shut up, bitch and I'm not.
- 16:27Speaker 1: I had to like go out into, like their entryway because I wanted to laugh, so I knew I shouldn't, right?
- 16:34Speaker 1: I mean, I'm still at the age where the word bitch is funny to me anyway.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Oh yeah, but I watched a grandma get cussed out by a three-year-old.
- 16:41Speaker 1: There's something about watching little kids cuss and so so I feel like this guy.
- 16:48Speaker 1: I mean the stuff my dad taught me.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Oh right, if they're worried about a mythical monster, well we're Gen X too so it doesn't matter.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Right, we were cooking dinner in third grade.
- 16:59Speaker 2: They had to put commercials on TV to ask them where their kids were.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Do you know where your?
- 17:06Speaker 1: kids are.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Do you know where I am?
- 17:07Speaker 1: I absolutely do not.
- 17:09Speaker 2: No, nope not even thanks for reminding me.
- 17:12Speaker 2: We're gonna look for where all of the bicycles are.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Well, we are we grew up in homes, like my mom and dad would go to work in the summers and we were the uh, the definition of a latchkey kid.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Yeah, we sat at home all day by ourselves as children and we were in charge of making food for ourselves.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Not burning the house down, not killing each other, don't use that.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Oh, my god, right, I mean, it was just.
- 17:38Speaker 3: That was our life and if you got watched by your aunt, like a lot of times you're like, oh, you're hanging out outside unless you're bleeding oh, don't come in the house.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Don't come in the house.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Yeah, is that what you got.
- 17:48Speaker 1: You got washed by your aunt.

- 18:09Speaker 1: You get hand-fed fried bologna sandwiches.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Man, is she still with us?
- 18:13Speaker 1: No, she's passed.
- 18:15Speaker 1: I'd let her watch me now.

- 18:40Speaker 2: Chuckleberry fang.
- 18:40Speaker 1: We drank a lot of tang in my house.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Oh, space food.
- 18:49Speaker 3: I remember making a tangwich once I was like in second grade and I just got bread out with the tang dry on it.
- 18:53Speaker 3: Amanda Shook said my son told his teacher.
- 18:55Speaker 1: She was going to make him piss his pants if she didn't let him go to the bathroom before the other kid got back.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Hey, you got to love the honesty.
- 19:03Speaker 2: I asked the sixth grade science.
- 19:04Speaker 1: I've told you guys this right.
- 19:04Speaker 1: I asked the sixth grade science.
- 19:05Speaker 1: I've told you guys this right.
- 19:06Speaker 1: The health teacher that I asked her what a CU next Tuesday was in the front of the class.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Oh no, raised my little paw up.
- 19:15Speaker 1: She paws on me.
- 19:16Speaker 1: I go, what is a CU next Tuesday?
- 19:21Speaker 1: And nobody in the class reacted because they didn't know either.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Right, and I had heard some kids saying it to a girl when I was walking home.
- 19:29Speaker 1: I had no idea what it was and I asked her and she looked at me with the most horrified eyes in her life.
- 19:35Speaker 1: I bet you she told that story.
- 19:37Speaker 2: For the rest, I guarantee you I was in a discussion in the teacher's break room that day.
- 19:42Speaker 2: You'd never guess.
- 19:46Speaker 1: She says it's where a baby's made.
- 19:48Speaker 1: It's the most polite way to describe a see you next Tuesday you've ever heard oh my gosh.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Oh, all right, so El Cuchabatra El.

- 19:59Speaker 1: Chachacuchi board.
- 20:00Speaker 1: That's just fun.
- 20:01Speaker 2: That's not bad at all.
- 20:02Speaker 2: El Chachacuchi board.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Right, at least they weren't in there like teaching them like shit from like I'll tell you who really screwed up this country, just throwing shit out there.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, like I don't even know if I should tell this story, but I'm gonna anyway.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Um, yeah, I'm gonna tell it.
- 20:25Speaker 1: So, uh, here we go.
- 20:27Speaker 1: I remember I was taking my son home one time and, uh, my ex-wife and I, we, we shared custody of our kids and my uh, it was my weekend for the kids, but it was mother's day weekend, and so I'm like you gotta go with your mom, you gotta hang out with your mom.
- 20:42Speaker 1: It's mother's day, right, I'd expect to say my father's day, right.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Yeah, and she wanted to go to church.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Well, my kids aren't very churchly, all right, I don't know how to put it, like, I don't think they're full on atheists, but I'm, we'll get them there.
- 20:55Speaker 1: The son probably is, the daughter maybe is agnostic.
- 20:58Speaker 1: We'll smarten them up, and and so my son has this ability.
- 21:04Speaker 1: He's a really smart kid and, uh, he has a way of like just throwing a dagger at somebody, like, and it's just bad.
- 21:13Speaker 1: And I remember he told his mom one day, so I'm dropping her off, dropping him off and he didn't want to go to church.
- 21:19Speaker 1: He's like I don't even want to go to church.
- 21:20Speaker 1: I don't even believe in god.
- 21:22Speaker 1: And before he finished the word god, I I'm like I didn't teach him that.
- 21:30Speaker 1: It wasn't me.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, like I'm not uttering this stuff at home.
- 21:34Speaker 1: I'm like man, he just learned that shit on his own.
- 21:38Speaker 1: So, believe me, I understand the worry of teaching kids things that you shouldn't teach them.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Right, and that was I.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Was immediately like it wasn't me.
- 21:48Speaker 1: It wasn't me, it wasn't me.
- 21:49Speaker 1: I even took them to church, like trying to like.
- 21:51Speaker 1: My whole attitude on it was this if you want to believe or what you want to believe in in life, that is your choice.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not going to force feed something on you, because I've watched people try to force feed religion on people and they turn out to be some of the craziest motherfuckers you've ever met in your life.
- 22:08Speaker 1: Right, jim Jones, what?
- 22:12Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Exactly what's his favorite taste of Kool-Aid.
- 22:15Speaker 2: Speaking of Kool-Aid.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Grape, apparently you know fun fact he didn't actually use Kool-Aid, it was Flavor-Aid, Right he?
- 22:24Speaker 3: had practiced with Kool Right.
- 22:25Speaker 3: He had practiced with it.
- 22:25Speaker 3: He couldn't even afford the Kool-Aid.
- 22:26Speaker 1: No, he'd already practiced with it.
- 22:27Speaker 1: They were out of it.
- 22:29Speaker 1: No, all right.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Well, puddin', I appreciate.
- 22:33Speaker 1: I love the M of the Asshole.
- 22:34Speaker 2: I love the M of the.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Asshole In this case, I do not think this guy is the asshole.
- 22:38Speaker 1: It could be a lot worse, I think.
- 22:40Speaker 1: All right, I we will wrap this up.
- 22:44Speaker 1: All right, here's our first one, and I've I've joked about this.
- 22:48Speaker 1: I didn't know that people actually did this, but all right, here we go.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Okay, hey, this is a woman who authorities say stole multiple decoration day A floral arrangements, has been arrested.
- 23:03Speaker 1: What so she went to?
- 23:05Speaker 3: let me read the story and we'll just like she went to the funeral site the funeral site, the grave site.
- 23:09Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that's what they call that, right, the funeral site.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Yeah, grave site, grave site.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Very good, were you even drinking Possibly, yeah, dekalb County Sheriff Nick Weldon stated on Saturday, may 18th.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Investigators arrested 69-year-old Martha Jane Bows.
- 23:26Speaker 3: Ding it.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Martha, martha.
- 23:29Speaker 1: She is charged with fourth-degree theft of property and desecration, desecration, desecration how can I?
- 23:36Speaker 1: I've done, drunk myself, illiterate Desecration of a gravesite.
- 23:42Speaker 1: On Thursday May 16th the office received a report that Decoration Day flowers.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Is that Memorial Day or is there actually a Decoration Day?
- 23:50Speaker 1: I think there might be a Decoration Day.
- 23:51Speaker 1: That sounds like it was made up by floral companies for sure, right?
- 23:55Speaker 1: Because I mean the dead people don't know, right, right?
- 23:59Speaker 1: Apparently, she had been stealing flowers from a grave site at Painter Liberty Baptist Cemetery, hours from a grave site at, uh, painter liberty baptist cemetery.
- 24:11Speaker 1: The victim of the theft recently had other things stolen from the grave site and had cameras installed.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Oh no, how weird is it to have cameras in a graveyard?
- 24:18Speaker 2: stuff getting stolen at a grave site.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Yeah, but like can you make?
- 24:21Speaker 1: like this is like those, is this like ghost hunters?
- 24:24Speaker 1: Yeah, well, that's true, you're trying to catch that l2 the blair witch.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Oh, where was it?
- 24:34Speaker 1: Oh, here we go.
- 24:35Speaker 1: Uh, weldon says that on the morning of may 16th, the cameras caught a woman stealing two handmade floral arrangements from a headstone.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Oh wow, later that day, investigators identified bows as the suspect.
- 24:47Speaker 1: How, how do you identify her?
- 24:48Speaker 1: Was she wearing like a letter jacket that said Bose?
- 24:51Speaker 3: on it.
- 24:51Speaker 3: She still had flowers on her shirt or something.
- 24:55Speaker 2: They just seen what grave she put it on.
- 24:57Speaker 1: So apparently they identified her from the video.
- 25:00Speaker 1: They're like, oh, that's old, that's old lady.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Bose, that's old Bose, that's old Bose, go pick her up.
- 25:04Speaker 1: That's all Bo's.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Go pick her up.
- 25:06Speaker 1: The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office issued a search warrant for Bo's home in Hammondville on Friday, May 17th, with the help of Valley Head and Matone Police Department.
- 25:19Speaker 3: So she was just taking the flowers home and like putting it on the dining room table.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Oh yeah, there's a picture of it.
- 25:23Speaker 3: I thought maybe she was just like taking it from one grave site and moving it over to the other to save money.
- 25:33Speaker 1: I love the fact that the DeKalb County Sheriff's Department called in two other police departments to help serve a search warrant over a woman that stole flowers.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Obviously they didn't know who she is.
- 25:39Speaker 1: They were like we need backup for this bitch.
- 25:40Speaker 1: This bitch is crazy.
- 25:41Speaker 1: This bitch is crazy.
- 25:43Speaker 1: With the help of the two police departments, the victim's floral arrangements were recovered and returned.
- 25:49Speaker 1: They also discovered 31 other floral decoration arrangements at her home.
- 25:57Speaker 3: She had like the decorative stones and faces and such.
- 25:59Speaker 3: She had them all on like a table.
- 26:01Speaker 1: It looked beautiful.
- 26:02Speaker 1: I bet her house smelled amazing.
- 26:03Speaker 1: All right, partial death and partial fun no thanks, nah, I'm good, it's death, and partial no thanks, nah, I'm good, it's funny because I've always joked.
- 26:11Speaker 1: I'm like you know, before you're going on a big date, you got to visit a cemetery, pick up some flowers and I didn't really it really was, oh my gosh, like, who are you hurting?
- 26:22Speaker 1: I mean, I get that people are putting them on the headstone, but really, Nah, people are putting them on the headstone but really Nah, really People get very weird about this.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Aj and I were driving the other night and we drove by one and people had put out LED lights.
- 26:36Speaker 1: This cemetery was lit up like Vegas.
- 26:38Speaker 1: It was so Lights all over the place.
- 26:45Speaker 3: There's a lot of different things that I don't understand about all of that.
- 26:48Speaker 3: Do you want to be buried or do you want to be burned?
- 26:48Speaker 3: I don't.
- 26:48Speaker 3: I hey, there's a lot of different things that I don't understand about all of that but like do you want to be buried or do you want to be burned?
- 26:52Speaker 1: Those are pretty much the options, right?
- 26:54Speaker 3: Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, baby.
- 26:58Speaker 2: I'm with you.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Just throw me in a box.
- 27:00Speaker 1: I mean it calls it get her on.
- 27:08Speaker 3: I'd rather burn to death in four minutes than be buried alive for six days.
- 27:10Speaker 3: The biggest problem scares the shit out of me, man.
- 27:11Speaker 3: But the biggest problem is is it's like well, what do you do with the ashes afterwards?
- 27:12Speaker 1: yeah, my dad's sitting in a box, my mom's closet right.
- 27:15Speaker 3: I was gonna say does he really want to be in a closet you?
- 27:19Speaker 1: know what I mean, like I would rather just be like my mom's up on the shelf in the front room yeah, yeah, the wild part is my dad's sitting in the closet of her new husband.
- 27:29Speaker 3: Oh, he's like that shirt's ugly.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Poltergeist Nice shoes buddy.
- 27:36Speaker 1: He's a heavy box too, like I.
- 27:39Speaker 1: It's one of those things like I don't know, like you can't throw them away, right, so you gotta spread the ashes, but I don't know really where to take them and it's a lot of them.
- 27:51Speaker 3: Well, it's technically illegal to just spread them wherever because it's I guess it's just like a law that you have to actually get permission of the place where you're spreading them.
- 28:03Speaker 3: I think, I've heard stories where they you find um.
- 28:09Speaker 1: People will spread ashes in random places and people will identify it Like the start finish line at 500.
- 28:16Speaker 3: My stepdad and I.
- 28:17Speaker 3: We took a little bit of my mother's ashes and took it to Sanibel Island because it was her favorite place.
- 28:22Speaker 3: But while we're taking her and putting her in the water which you know it's kind of weird because there's people floating around it.
- 28:30Speaker 1: But no, my stepdad got stung by a jellyfish like it was like mom's last prank really, yes, that, or jellyfish, hate ashes, right, all these dead.
- 28:42Speaker 3: I can't even eat this and then there's like the thing where people are like, oh I, I want my ashes mixed in with a tree.
- 28:49Speaker 3: Yeah so planting is a tree and it's like well.
- 28:51Speaker 3: Thank you for planting a haunted forest oh my god, or I'm gonna end up growing up and then being made into toilet paper.
- 28:59Speaker 3: That's my karma as the tree.
- 29:01Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah I, I will be the wood that gets ground up to be made into toilet paper yeah, yeah, like I said before, I'm gonna be that ghost that chases you up the stairs when you turn the lights off In the basement.
- 29:13Speaker 2: You better run fast.
- 29:13Speaker 2: I'm going to get you.
- 29:15Speaker 1: I'm going to be the one that makes every kid jump out of their bed four foot from the side of the bed.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Did you guys do that All the time?
- 29:22Speaker 1: Oh?
- 29:23Speaker 3: I did too, man I felt like.
- 29:24Speaker 3: Like you had to jump up over oh.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Mary Lou Retton didn't have shit on me when I'm jumping out of my bed.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Or into it.
- 29:31Speaker 2: After I turn the light off, I got to run and jump into it.
- 29:34Speaker 1: You got to stick to landing.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Ponder says I'd like to be spread like Donnie from Big Lebowski.
- 29:41Speaker 3: Out of a coffee.
- 29:41Speaker 3: Can yeah into somebody's face?
- 29:43Speaker 1: He doesn't even like coffee.
- 29:44Speaker 1: You just got to find a Rouse, sir.
- 29:50Speaker 1: This is our most conservative receptacle.
- 29:52Speaker 1: All right, are you ready for your second story?
- 29:55Speaker 2: Yes, all right.
- 30:03Speaker 1: A 26-year-old female veterinarian says she was just starting her new job last week when they had someone bring in a very sick puppy.
- 30:07Speaker 1: Okay, they did an x-ray and realized the dog had eaten something that had become caught in its system.
- 30:13Speaker 1: They performed an emergency surgery and pulled out the obstruction.
- 30:17Speaker 1: It was a thong.
- 30:19Speaker 1: The dog had eaten a thong Dogs love underwear.
- 30:23Speaker 3: I was getting ready to say this is not uncommon.
- 30:27Speaker 1: It's not Brand new.
- 30:28Speaker 3: Brand new underwear have never been worn.
- 30:30Speaker 3: They will chew the crotch out of underwear well, here's the odd part.
- 30:33Speaker 1: They told the owner and she didn't understand because she didn't own a thong.
- 30:37Speaker 1: Oh, buster she called her husband and apparently the revelation that it was another woman's came to the surface while they were on the phone.
- 30:47Speaker 1: In the veterinary this 26 year old lady had just started a new job pulled a thong out of this puppy's belly, and that's how this woman found out she was being cheated on.
- 30:59Speaker 3: I wear granny panties, probably what you do it.
- 31:03Speaker 3: I was thinking it the whole time.
- 31:12Speaker 1: The vet says she felt terrible for the woman because it was a horrible way to find out, not to mention the stress of her dog, which could have passed away if they had not removed the thong talk about?
- 31:21Speaker 2: am I the asshole?
- 31:22Speaker 3: oh right, who's paying for the vet bill in the divorce?
- 31:27Speaker 1: fortunately they.
- 31:28Speaker 1: They said the dog will be fine.
- 31:30Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure this guy the marriage is not Now.
- 31:32Speaker 3: it's going to have to pick owners.
- 31:34Speaker 1: It's not even that this is the most expensive dog treat ever.
- 31:37Speaker 1: This guy just lost half his shit because of a dog treat.
- 31:41Speaker 3: Depends on what state.
- 31:43Speaker 3: More than half.
- 31:44Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, All right.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Next story A new.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Have you guys all right?
- 31:52Speaker 1: There was a new art installation that was installed in new york and in dublin, ireland.
- 31:55Speaker 1: It was called the portal.
- 31:56Speaker 1: Yeah, so you heard about this yeah, no, all right, so the portal was.
- 32:00Speaker 1: It was, uh, exact same on each side and it was a live feed from the other city.
- 32:06Speaker 1: Yep, so when you were, looking in it, yeah the idea is to let people connect from um other countries you know.
- 32:13Speaker 1: Just right there on that, see what's up yeah, but uh, in less than a week they had to temporarily shut it down after too many people were flashing and mooning I was getting ready to say I guarantee people were like.
- 32:25Speaker 2: That'd be on both sides.
- 32:26Speaker 2: Absolutely, look at those.
- 32:27Speaker 3: American boobies.
- 32:29Speaker 1: Oh, folks have also been giving each other the finger, grinding on the portal and holding up inappropriate photos, including pornography.
- 32:37Speaker 2: I've seen that they had a picture of the towers.
- 32:42Speaker 2: Yes, yeah.
- 32:43Speaker 1: Somebody held up a picture of the Twin Towers burning, yeah, and showed it to the people in New York.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Ow, yes, and then they got flashed.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Then they saw boobies.
- 32:53Speaker 1: Then they shut it down.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Bad news or bad news?
- 32:57Speaker 1: Oh, dublin turned theirs off last week.
- 33:01Speaker 1: So the designers could add a tech filter that filters out images that your phone if you held your phone up, it wouldn't show them to them.
- 33:04Speaker 1: Gotcha, that filters out images that your phone if you held your phone up, it wouldn't show them to them.
- 33:08Speaker 1: It was also supposed to run 24-7, but it sounds like they may be turning it off at night.
- 33:16Speaker 2: We can't block the boobies, but we can block your phone.
- 33:19Speaker 1: They were out skeeting in front of it.
- 33:21Speaker 1: I love.
- 33:24Speaker 1: You know what I love about this story?
- 33:27Speaker 1: Is that the the connection?
- 33:29Speaker 1: Well, no, it's.
- 33:30Speaker 1: It's that technology has evolved faster than humans.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Maturity.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Oh absolutely Right, like I mean, that's the kind of thing you're like, hey, here's a great way to do this or do that, and no, it's like look at my boobies, Look at my junk.

- 33:57Speaker 3: Oh, that's cool.
- 33:58Speaker 1: No word if any of them showed their ass.
- 34:00Speaker 3: I was gonna say did you guys get to see inappropriate stuff, or what?
- 34:05Speaker 1: I love the fact that people are coming up with like this is the greatest thing ever.
- 34:08Speaker 1: Like I love the fact that people are coming up with like this is the greatest thing ever.
- 34:11Speaker 1: Like people can, like share science.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Hold on, hold on.
- 34:13Speaker 1: It's cool.
- 34:13Speaker 1: I'm going to show him a butt, though.
- 34:15Speaker 1: That girl wants to see my penis.

- 35:38Speaker 1: I mean, let's be honest you have other stuff that distracts us from that, but no, we have nothing going for us down there.
- 35:46Speaker 3: It is bad we'll go back to the baloney comment.
- 35:48Speaker 1: Bacon fried baloney sandwiches there you go buddy oh man all right, are you ready for your third story?
- 35:56Speaker 1: let's do it newly released video of a traffic stop stop along route 20 west of fremont shows a body cam footage of a sandusky county deputy.
- 36:07Speaker 1: He had just pulled over a usps mail van.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Okay, so a postal mail van that like brings mail to your front.
- 36:14Speaker 1: You know your house.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Yeah, for speeding the van was going more than 100 miles an hour.
- 36:20Speaker 1: 60 mile an hour zone, uh, the, uh, you can watch the video of this.
- 36:25Speaker 1: By the way, he asked is there a reason you're going over 100 miles an hour?
- 36:29Speaker 3: Next, to the air.
- 36:33Speaker 1: And the driver said I'm running late.
- 36:35Speaker 1: The driver said I didn't realize I was going that fast.
- 36:39Speaker 1: According to the traffic report from Sandusky County, the van had no plates and the driver appeared to be racing a Ford Mustang.
- 36:47Speaker 1: Van had no plates and the driver appeared to be racing a Ford Mustang.
- 36:50Speaker 1: In the body cam video, the deputy goes on to say yeah, I mean that Mustang took off, he caught my attention and then you blew by him.
- 36:58Speaker 1: I was pacing at like 105.
- 37:00Speaker 2: Holy cow, those little vans are fast.
- 37:04Speaker 3: I want one now.
- 37:05Speaker 3: Why they go Now?
- 37:08Speaker 1: here's my favorite part of this story.
- 37:10Speaker 1: The postal worker identified herself as the fremont post office.
- 37:14Speaker 1: The stop happened on april 21st, my birthday there you go, so it was a she it was a she, and they identified the driver as drew brown, 28 of fremont.
- 37:24Speaker 1: She uh waived the case, which is now closed, and she paid a 50 fine as part of a 240 fine installment.
- 37:32Speaker 1: She didn't get fired even that's fine, that's okay, yeah and she's got to pay a 240 fine.
- 37:37Speaker 1: So let that be, uh, a piece of advice out there to all of the postal workers.
- 37:45Speaker 3: That's a our lost mail.
- 37:46Speaker 2: Just went flying out the door I have no lightness load to get going I'm impressed that they can go that fast.
- 37:53Speaker 1: I know right, that's awesome.
- 37:55Speaker 1: I have a jeep and I'm pretty sure it won't go above 100 downhill.
- 37:59Speaker 1: I mean really straight downhill those things have no speed to them whatsoever.
- 38:04Speaker 3: You never have to worry about getting pulled over when you got them yeah yeah, tires going out the back right when he had to go chase them down by oh, that's right, I forgot, I didn't.
- 38:16Speaker 1: I didn't realize, uh, what you were chatting about.
- 38:19Speaker 1: Yeah, well, you know what I actually?
- 38:21Speaker 1: That was all four stories.
- 38:22Speaker 1: Oh, that was four.

- 38:27Speaker 1: Well, it was a little rocky our first week but it's been a minute, not bad for six months in the stories will get better.
- 38:34Speaker 1: The giblets were amazing.
- 38:36Speaker 1: The am I the asshole is for sure great.
- 38:38Speaker 1: I fucked all up with the bad news, but we'll figure that out, yeah it'd be good.
- 38:42Speaker 3: There's some good ones on there.
- 38:43Speaker 3: We had a good time.
- 38:45Speaker 1: We appreciate everyone jumping in Chandra Falcone, stuart Milligan and others that commented tonight.

- 39:11Speaker 2: Absolutely, it's nice.
- 39:12Speaker 1: And I assume he's still open to visitors.
- 39:15Speaker 2: Absolutely, yeah, awesome.
- 39:17Speaker 1: And, like I said, we're going to be here every third Thursday of the month, moving forward, and we'll still continue to release audio opposed from those dates I don't know what the word I mean, not those dates.

- 39:33Speaker 1: That's nice, that's right.

- 39:38Speaker 1: You're so smart, all right.
- 39:40Speaker 1: Well, I guess, without further ado, I guess we got one last thing to say.
- 39:46Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's simply this If you see someone in your life that you feel like is struggling and it could be anything, it could be just they're having a bad week or maybe they have seemed like they've been down on their luck.
- 39:58Speaker 1: Whatever it is, just reach out to them, especially if they're alone.
- 40:01Speaker 1: I feel bad for anybody that you know goes through life, and especially as you get older and you lose uh, you know spouses and kids are moved away and, regardless of that, just make sure you reach out and check out on each other.
- 40:16Speaker 1: It you'd be surprised how something so little as that might be in the absolute world to somebody.
- 40:21Speaker 1: We're all in this together.
- 40:23Speaker 1: That's right, man, we're not.
- 40:24Speaker 1: No one wins.
- 40:25Speaker 1: No, we're all going to come out on the same side, right as a sapling or having a video camera installed on your gravesite Cause somebody keeps stealing your dandelions or whatever it is.
- 40:38Speaker 1: But make sure you take care of each other, love each other.
- 40:41Speaker 1: It's Memorial day weekend.
- 40:43Speaker 1: I'm not a guy that likes to get on a soap box, but this is a really, really important holiday.
- 40:47Speaker 1: Not a guy that likes to get on a soapbox, but this is a really, really important holiday and it's a.
- 40:50Speaker 1: It's an opportunity to honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice that allow us to do these kind of stupid videos.
- 40:56Speaker 3: Yes, yes, yeah, it's definitely more than just the Indy 500.
- 41:00Speaker 1: Yeah, which is kick ass Right.
- 41:02Speaker 1: But you know, thank a veteran, thank anyone that.
- 41:08Speaker 1: And also and I've said this before and I mean this sincerely it's it's not just the people that go to war that are, you know, giving such an ultimate sacrifice, it's the people at home, to the families.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Can you imagine in fairness, like AJ is a veteran and and I've had family members that were veterans I just can't imagine being somebody that's being deployed overseas and every day you have no idea what's going on.
- 41:37Speaker 2: Right yeah.
- 41:39Speaker 1: Oh, it's crazy to me.
- 41:39Speaker 1: Yeah, all right.
- 41:41Speaker 1: Well, that's how we ended it.
- 41:42Speaker 1: It's after two beers.
- 41:43Speaker 1: You never know what you're going to get at the end of this, that's right.

- 41:55Speaker 1: She's controlling.
- 41:57Speaker 1: It's probably the smart way to do it.
- 41:59Speaker 1: Josh Morrison, thanks for checking in, buddy, we appreciate you as well, buddy Thank you and I guess without further ado, Gibbler, we'll talk to them all next time.
