- 2:50Speaker 5: like shit, you're crushing it, dude.
- 2:53Speaker 4: Not really, I genuinely don't understand why I do. Why
- 2:56Speaker 4: I would ever think that's a good idea for me,
- 2:58Speaker 4: Like I have to have spots night, So it's like,
- 3:00Speaker 4: now I'm not gonna be up for thirty hours or
- 3:03Speaker 4: however many hours.
- 3:04Speaker 5: Do you know that this is literally zero single day?
- 3:07Speaker 4: Yeah, but that's your pro Like that's because you live
- 3:10Speaker 4: like that. There's zero reasoning for me to be waking
- 3:13Speaker 4: up are you a second?
- 3:14Speaker 5: Do you have the DNA of like a sloth?
- 3:17Speaker 4: No, but there's no point of me waking up at
- 3:19Speaker 4: seven am and going to bed at two am.
- 3:21Speaker 5: Yes, I don't go to bed like that.
- 3:23Speaker 4: There's no reason for that. Well, and there's also really
- 3:25Speaker 4: no reason I don't have to be wake at seven am.
- 3:28Speaker 4: You should be nothing happening in my life at seven am.
- 3:30Speaker 5: I would cut back on the back end. I would
- 3:33Speaker 5: go to bed earlier and keep waking.
- 3:35Speaker 4: Up or yeah, but I did that last night and
- 3:36Speaker 4: then this morning I was like, I don't know why
- 3:38Speaker 4: I did that. Now I know today it's gonna suck.
- 3:41Speaker 4: Like I'm gonna I'm gonna go home after this and
- 3:43Speaker 4: then I'm just gonna sit for like nine hours.
- 3:46Speaker 5: Joe Rogan would tell you, you know that today's not gonna suck.
- 3:50Speaker 4: I'm not Joe Rogan because of the way I don't
- 3:53Speaker 4: know Joe Rogan.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Yeah, he could say that you don't know him yet.
- 3:57Speaker 4: I don't know him at all.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Joke, I'm on it.
- 4:00Speaker 5: Let's put it this way. When you get on Rogan
- 4:02Speaker 5: and he schedules the podcast for ten am, yeah, are
- 4:05Speaker 5: you gonna walk in and say, hey, Joe this fucking sucks.
- 4:09Speaker 4: No, but ten am is not even like bad. I'm
- 4:12Speaker 4: just saying there's there's Like I genuinely don't think there's
- 4:16Speaker 4: an actual reason for me to wake up, Joe.
- 4:18Speaker 5: I just want you to know you're not gonna get
- 4:20Speaker 5: my best today because I woke up and I worked
- 4:22Speaker 5: out this morning and I don't know why the fuck
- 4:25Speaker 5: I did.
- 4:25Speaker 4: I don't know why I work out at all. Like
- 4:27Speaker 4: it makes me. It consistently makes me feel worse always.
- 4:32Speaker 1: It doesn't energize you.
- 4:33Speaker 4: No, I will say, like six hours after I go
- 4:37Speaker 4: to the gym, I'm like, all right, that was that
- 4:39Speaker 4: was worth it? Like I feel better now, but like
- 4:42Speaker 4: it genuinely like it takes like right now, dog shit, it.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Doesn't feel great as soon as you're done. No to
- 4:47Speaker 1: be like, oh I did the hard thing today. No,
- 4:50Speaker 1: I did my hard thing.
- 4:51Speaker 4: Like walking home in slow motion from the gym. Every
- 4:55Speaker 4: time I lift one of my legs, it feels like
- 4:57Speaker 4: the weight of the world is attached to it.
- 5:00Speaker 5: You might want to do a different type of exercise.
- 5:03Speaker 5: I don't know what it would be.
- 5:05Speaker 4: I just got to drink more water. To be honest,
- 5:09Speaker 4: I don't think you need to lift so much.
- 5:11Speaker 5: Maybe maybe if you started doing did you see him
- 5:13Speaker 5: do that stretch thing on round dot com this morning?
- 5:15Speaker 1: No pigeon post.
- 5:18Speaker 5: Really, if you got into yoga and you just became
- 5:21Speaker 5: bendy pliable, zen, dude, I wonder what that would do
- 5:27Speaker 5: for you.
- 5:28Speaker 4: Nothing. What if you like to lift weights though, I
- 5:32Speaker 4: don't like.
- 5:32Speaker 1: To know if you got really happy in your stand
- 5:34Speaker 1: up just started sucking? Ass I am happy miserable then
- 5:40Speaker 1: happy like that kind I know I'm not saying you're miserable,
- 5:43Speaker 1: but I think I am zen.
- 5:45Speaker 5: The last five minutes would say otherwise, I am. It's
- 5:49Speaker 5: gonna suck. I worked up? Why what it's like?
- 5:55Speaker 4: I feel like it's midnight right now. This is when
- 5:58Speaker 4: I should be waking up? Is right now? Let's start
- 6:00Speaker 4: and being like, all should I get it? Should I
- 6:02Speaker 4: go to the gym?
- 6:03Speaker 5: Keep all that in? That's a good good leading.
- 6:07Speaker 4: All right? You can you leave it in out there?
- 6:10Speaker 4: All right? Alrighty, Welcome back to the Son of a
- 6:14Speaker 4: Boy Dad podcast. Today. It is May twenty eighth, and
- 6:19Speaker 4: we are heared a live from HQ three. Welcome to
- 6:24Speaker 4: the show.
- 6:26Speaker 5: I'm going every morning, I'm biking by the tattered remnants
- 6:33Speaker 5: of the ship.
- 6:34Speaker 4: Oh, they just haven't cleaned it up.
- 6:36Speaker 5: It's moored to the side of a housing project right
- 6:41Speaker 5: on the banks of the East River on the Manhattan side.
- 6:45Speaker 5: It's very sad.
- 6:46Speaker 1: There's also a police boat that keeps watch of it,
- 6:48Speaker 1: and there's definitely it like it's there for full eight
- 6:52Speaker 1: nine twelve hour ships whatever it is. So there's just
- 6:55Speaker 1: a copp in there on an iPad who's just like.
- 6:58Speaker 4: It's like an investigation or something and they have to
- 7:00Speaker 4: keep it for evidence. It probably investigated if a boat
- 7:04Speaker 4: crashes into the Brooklyn Bridge and the boats from another country.
- 7:08Speaker 5: Maybe so, But it's not seaworthy, I don't think so.
- 7:13Speaker 5: They're gonna have to do some kind of a repair
- 7:15Speaker 5: to get it out of there. But I don't know
- 7:16Speaker 5: if that means they're going to haul it off to
- 7:18Speaker 5: a boat yard somewhere or.
- 7:20Speaker 4: Strap it us in the back of a Tacoma.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Now they're going to put it. They're gonna take it
- 7:24Speaker 1: to a chop shop, and it's going to be Mexican dudes,
- 7:27Speaker 1: just like, let's get under the hood and see what
- 7:29Speaker 1: went wrong.
- 7:30Speaker 5: Yeah, turn it into a bunch of reclaimed wood tables
- 7:34Speaker 5: on Etsy.
- 7:35Speaker 4: Yeah, Yeah, that would actually be sick.
- 7:38Speaker 1: That's you're looking That's what I'm looking for.
- 7:41Speaker 4: That would be awesome built from the fucking Mexican Bridge.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Some curtains made from the It's very sad though, going
- 7:49Speaker 1: down to the river front, there's like a memorial to
- 7:52Speaker 1: the two people that passed away.
- 7:54Speaker 5: Oh is there? I haven't seen that.
- 7:56Speaker 1: It's right under the like if you go up by
- 7:58Speaker 1: the by the bridge. Emily Robling pasa right, the woman
- 8:03Speaker 1: who finished the Brooklyn Bridge, and they gave her credit
- 8:08Speaker 1: for having built the Brooklyn Bridge, this woman Emily Robling,
- 8:12Speaker 1: But really a man built it and then he got
- 8:15Speaker 1: sick right at the end. And she put her name
- 8:17Speaker 1: on the project, which is what men get Lamb based
- 8:21Speaker 1: it for all the time that a woman actually did this,
- 8:24Speaker 1: but fucking the guy doctor in charge named the disease
- 8:28Speaker 1: after himself. But really, the book Brooklyn Bridge is just
- 8:31Speaker 1: some woman slapping her name on the group project, saying, oh,
- 8:35Speaker 1: actually I built this whole.
- 8:36Speaker 4: He couldn't get it done. I mean, if he couldn't
- 8:39Speaker 4: get it done, that's his problems.
- 8:43Speaker 5: He got the bench. She finished the job. Just to
- 8:45Speaker 5: play Clam's advocate for a second. She was pretty instrumental.
- 8:50Speaker 1: He was.
- 8:51Speaker 5: He was bed ridden up in their place in the
- 8:53Speaker 5: Brooklyn Heights, and she would finish the contracts, make sure
- 8:57Speaker 5: that people were getting there on time. She oversaw it
- 9:00Speaker 5: and really really had her hands on the business side
- 9:03Speaker 5: of things because it was so close.
- 9:05Speaker 1: It was so close. Yeah, he did most of the work,
- 9:07Speaker 1: and then she was like, actually, we're gonna call it
- 9:09Speaker 1: Emily Robling Plaza. They didn't even know who mister Robling was.
- 9:13Speaker 1: His name's lost to the sands of the well.
- 9:15Speaker 5: He already he already was.
- 9:17Speaker 4: Brooklyn Bridge, would have created the Brooklyn Bridge.
- 9:20Speaker 5: He was a bit of a NEPO baby though, yeah,
- 9:23Speaker 5: because his dad started the bridge. Oh no, and his
- 9:27Speaker 5: dad was Washington Robling as well, but his dad died.
- 9:30Speaker 4: Passed down through generations.
- 9:32Speaker 5: Right before I think they actually started building it, but
- 9:34Speaker 5: he drew up the initial plans for it, and then
- 9:36Speaker 5: young Washington took over.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Interesting and I can't believe you know more about this
- 9:41Speaker 1: than I do.
- 9:42Speaker 5: Well, I read the David McCullough biography, which was the Bridge. Yeah,
- 9:45Speaker 5: it's called The Great Bridge. It's one of the most
- 9:49Speaker 5: dull and dense books I've ever read. I would not
- 9:52Speaker 5: recommend it. To anyone, Why did you read that? I
- 9:55Speaker 5: loved David McCullough, and I moved to Brooklyn and I
- 9:58Speaker 5: could see the Brooklyn Bridge from my my windows, so
- 10:00Speaker 5: I assumed or I just thought it was something I
- 10:03Speaker 5: should read.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Some things don't need a book.
- 10:06Speaker 4: Didn't like Kate read that book.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Probably it's I think it's a famous book.
- 10:09Speaker 5: It's a big book.
- 10:11Speaker 4: She read some book about one of the bridges, or
- 10:13Speaker 4: maybe the Hudson or something. I remember she talked about
- 10:16Speaker 4: on the Yak.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Hudson I think has his own book.
- 10:20Speaker 4: Probably.
- 10:20Speaker 1: I think Glenny Balls read the Hudson book. I'm not
- 10:23Speaker 1: even kidding. He always would talk about the life of
- 10:25Speaker 1: Henry Hudson that he like drifted up the river. You'll
- 10:28Speaker 1: know more about this than all.
- 10:29Speaker 5: I haven't read that one.
- 10:30Speaker 1: He drifted up the entire Hudson and then his crew mutinied,
- 10:33Speaker 1: oh really, wow, they might have. I think they killed
- 10:36Speaker 1: him up there. I could be wrong.
- 10:37Speaker 4: That's brutal to finally get there and they're just waiting
- 10:40Speaker 4: posted up the blades.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Emily Roebling the blade.
- 10:44Speaker 5: Yeah, and that's antique country too. Yeah, right up there
- 10:48Speaker 5: in Newburgh and kind of there's a town called Hudson
- 10:51Speaker 5: Wooden Blade that has some of the best antique stores
- 10:54Speaker 5: in the country. Truly does. It's a great day to
- 10:57Speaker 5: go up there and sounds get yourself a FORTI walk
- 11:01Speaker 5: around for Tata, yeah, slab of stone, or maybe a
- 11:05Speaker 5: Kroc Monsieur, yeah, or a Kroc Madam.
- 11:08Speaker 4: I started reading the or I'm listening to that U
- 11:11Speaker 4: the blooming Towers book?
- 11:13Speaker 5: Please?
- 11:13Speaker 4: Yeah, very good, good good. I will say I'm not
- 11:15Speaker 4: a huge I don't know if I'm going to continue
- 11:17Speaker 4: to listen to it. I might read it, because listening
- 11:20Speaker 4: I don't. I don't have the like brain for that.
- 11:24Speaker 4: I have to read. I've been on the first chapter
- 11:26Speaker 4: for I think twenty four hours and I've had to
- 11:28Speaker 4: rewind it because you miss one word and then you're
- 11:31Speaker 4: you're out of it. Really you miss one name and
- 11:33Speaker 4: then you're like, wait, I know what's happening right now,
- 11:35Speaker 4: but who the fuck are they talking about?
- 11:36Speaker 1: That's why movies are great.
- 11:38Speaker 4: Yeah that guy, Yeah exactly, he's a guy from the
- 11:41Speaker 4: other scene. And then the problem is all the names
- 11:43Speaker 4: are like Egyptian super no American names. Yeah. So I'm
- 11:48Speaker 4: trying to I'm telling them into I was trying to
- 11:51Speaker 4: Google translate them like I was trying to tell them
- 11:54Speaker 4: to the thing I was trying to do the h
- 11:57Speaker 4: the Egyptian president.
- 11:58Speaker 5: Naser NASA try to translate names.
- 12:02Speaker 4: Well, I'm trying to figure out what the what the
- 12:03Speaker 4: guys looked like. I need a face, you know. And
- 12:07Speaker 4: then these are the guys that like created al Qaeda,
- 12:09Speaker 4: so I need to know what they look like in
- 12:11Speaker 4: case they I see them.
- 12:12Speaker 5: I think a lot of them are dead. At this point,
- 12:15Speaker 5: you whispering the names, but you just said in case
- 12:19Speaker 5: you see them.
- 12:20Speaker 4: It was clearly a joke.
- 12:21Speaker 5: I cannot tell at all anymore with you.
- 12:25Speaker 1: I was kidding, but you're definitely going to watch this
- 12:27Speaker 1: after whispering the names of terrorists into your phone.
- 12:29Speaker 4: I was no. I kept on saying it wasn't even
- 12:32Speaker 4: a terrorist, it was the Egyptian president, NASA.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Yeah, And I kept on.
- 12:36Speaker 4: I kept on saying NASA into the phone and kept
- 12:38Speaker 4: it coming up as NASA, the Space.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Program, right, because they know you're from New England.
- 12:44Speaker 4: And then I finally I was able to find it.
- 12:46Speaker 4: Long as a long time of research, but interesting book.
- 12:49Speaker 4: I didn't realize that, like the whole boar in the
- 12:51Speaker 4: Middle East, started just from pretty much Israel, right.
- 12:55Speaker 5: Oh, I think it goes way back farther than that.
- 12:58Speaker 5: I mean that that you could go back to biblical times.
- 13:01Speaker 4: Yeah, I guess that makes sense.
- 13:02Speaker 5: About about that, A whole conflict in that area.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Yeah, but the who these hate Israel and America. Yeah,
- 13:08Speaker 1: the Yemenis that's crazy. A lot of people hate Israel
- 13:13Speaker 1: and America.
- 13:14Speaker 4: Yeah, especially the Egyptians.
- 13:18Speaker 5: Speaking of all that, I am very saddened about what's
- 13:22Speaker 5: going on at Harvard these days. There's this war between
- 13:25Speaker 5: Harvard and our president right now.
- 13:27Speaker 4: Really gay, No, he's gay, not there anymore?
- 13:31Speaker 5: Straight war?
- 13:32Speaker 4: What President gay?
- 13:34Speaker 5: She got housted? Oh she's out, she's out.
- 13:37Speaker 4: Damn shame. Yeah, where's she working at now?
- 13:40Speaker 5: Fucked if I know, Burger King, But I'll tell you what.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Uh So, what's going on?
- 13:47Speaker 5: Well, Trump is Trump is really kind of going after them. Yeah,
- 13:53Speaker 5: and he's cutting off federal funding and grants, and he's
- 13:57Speaker 5: trying to say he wants them to no longer have
- 14:01Speaker 5: any international students Harvard as a whole.
- 14:05Speaker 4: Yeah, damn.
- 14:07Speaker 1: So it's just gonna be Francis Yeah.
- 14:09Speaker 5: Yeah, more for me, you know, definitely helps my kids chances.
- 14:14Speaker 4: What would you if Trump called you and was like,
- 14:16Speaker 4: we want you to be the face I accept, like
- 14:19Speaker 4: a statue with your face? Would you? But would you
- 14:22Speaker 4: still do the Potter? Now?
- 14:24Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't think a statue is really going to
- 14:26Speaker 5: be enough to replace a well, now we're talking.
- 14:32Speaker 4: You don't think a statue at Harvard would be enough
- 14:34Speaker 4: to like?
- 14:35Speaker 5: What am I getting paid for a statue? Am I charging?
- 14:37Speaker 4: Once you get a statue of yourself, you speak at schools,
- 14:42Speaker 4: there's bullshit.
- 14:43Speaker 5: Or you're just.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Motivation. But would you take the statue if they made
- 14:48Speaker 1: you keep the title of President Gay?
- 14:52Speaker 5: I think I would. I think I'd want the title
- 14:56Speaker 5: of President Gay. Paging President Gay your two PM s here. Yeah,
- 15:03Speaker 5: he's he's uh, he's really kind of gone on an
- 15:06Speaker 5: absolute fucking vendetta against Harvard and it's I guess it's
- 15:11Speaker 5: to root out woke, progressive, entrenched ideals on college campuses.
- 15:18Speaker 5: I don't really know why he's not well.
- 15:21Speaker 1: He went to Columbia first, I'm pretty sure because of
- 15:23Speaker 1: the protest.
- 15:23Speaker 5: Yeah, but he just like sent one guy home. I
- 15:26Speaker 5: feel like, I don't know if he cut their funding,
- 15:28Speaker 5: but maybe.
- 15:29Speaker 4: Crazy be the one dude sent home from Harvard by
- 15:32Speaker 4: the President of the United States.
- 15:33Speaker 5: Well, the guy was kind of a kind of a
- 15:37Speaker 5: I think he was like speaking out against America and.
- 15:40Speaker 1: He was like a minus student.
- 15:43Speaker 4: He was Egyptian.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Larry Nay the gymnastics coach.
- 15:49Speaker 5: Yeah, well he was the but but you know, uh,
- 15:55Speaker 5: it's it's a strange thing. I don't I don't really
- 15:58Speaker 5: know Harvard's like standing up to him. And they have
- 16:03Speaker 5: a forty billion dollar endowment, so maybe they can't.
- 16:06Speaker 1: You can't dip into that endowment because if you're dipping
- 16:08Speaker 1: in every year, the endowment will be gone pretty fast.
- 16:11Speaker 5: Well, and they've lost part of that endowment are the
- 16:15Speaker 5: federal grants they get, which I think are a few
- 16:18Speaker 5: billion dollars. So I don't know. I don't know how
- 16:21Speaker 5: that's all going to play out, But I will say
- 16:23Speaker 5: all jokes aside. The international kids at Harvard were great.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Yeah, and you know Jeremy Lynn, Yeah, of course.
- 16:34Speaker 5: I mean I had a lot of friends who were
- 16:36Speaker 5: from England or Australia or whatever.
- 16:41Speaker 4: They were cool.
- 16:42Speaker 5: Yeah, I had.
- 16:46Speaker 4: Well Iceland.
- 16:48Speaker 5: I want to see the kids, but I never saw them.
- 16:50Speaker 5: They they studied so much harder and I never got
- 16:53Speaker 5: to hang out with them.
- 16:54Speaker 4: A ton of foreign friends. They were way better England, Yeah, Irish,
- 17:00Speaker 4: No French, No French, Canada, a ton of Canadian France.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Everyone's talking about bad about foreigners. Very pleasant guys.
- 17:11Speaker 5: They were, these these kids were great.
- 17:14Speaker 4: Well, that's what sparks nine to eleven is that we
- 17:16Speaker 4: said that we were an immigrant country and then we
- 17:19Speaker 4: proved not to be what clearly, having read the first
- 17:24Speaker 4: chapter of me, I just don't know about it. They
- 17:28Speaker 4: said that apparently, post World War Two, the United States
- 17:31Speaker 4: was doing so well, and we said we were an immigrant,
- 17:34Speaker 4: immigrant country. We would open, we were open to having
- 17:36Speaker 4: people coming into our country. And then that resulted in
- 17:39Speaker 4: a bunch of people in the Middle East coming to
- 17:41Speaker 4: our country. And then we started funding Israel aggressively and
- 17:46Speaker 4: moving a bunch of israel citizens into Palestine, and then
- 17:52Speaker 4: the Muslim community, islam community did not like that. Interesting,
- 17:57Speaker 4: And then the dude went back to Egypt and was
- 17:59Speaker 4: like nine to eleven, let's get it going.
- 18:02Speaker 5: This was in the fifties.
- 18:03Speaker 4: This was in the forties and the fifties.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Holy shit, Yeah, you're a history guy now, big time.
- 18:10Speaker 1: It's so nice. It's so nice to have a stat
- 18:12Speaker 1: to like actually like that.
- 18:13Speaker 4: To be honest, the only reason I'm reading this book
- 18:15Speaker 4: is because it's not like a history like I'm trying
- 18:17Speaker 4: to get. I'm trying to fast forward to the more
- 18:18Speaker 4: modern history.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Yeah, just understanding. Yeah, you're basically Dave Smith pretty much.
- 18:23Speaker 5: But to get to know where we're going, you have
- 18:25Speaker 5: to know where we came from exactly. That's what they say, exactly.
- 18:29Speaker 5: Those who do not know history are destined to repeat it.
- 18:32Speaker 5: So if you don't finish this book, you're going to
- 18:35Speaker 5: be responsible for another nine to eleven.
- 18:37Speaker 4: True.
- 18:37Speaker 5: And I think that's something that you know, even though
- 18:41Speaker 5: you weren't really that aware for the first one. Yeah,
- 18:45Speaker 5: I know of the fear that it instilled in you.
- 18:48Speaker 5: Would you really want to live through that again?
- 18:50Speaker 4: I would not know.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Well, that just shows that Trump and everybody who's kicking
- 18:55Speaker 1: out all these Australians and British foreigners is trying to
- 19:00Speaker 1: not repeat the mistakes of the past. That's because he's
- 19:03Speaker 1: like this, you should be an immigrant country, not on
- 19:05Speaker 1: my watch. Get these fucking Irish.
- 19:08Speaker 5: They A lot of people, in response to my tweet
- 19:11Speaker 5: about this, said why are we paying for our international
- 19:14Speaker 5: students to be educated at Harvard? We should fund our own.
- 19:18Speaker 5: I'll tell you what. The international students that I knew
- 19:21Speaker 5: at Harvard, they were paying their full tuition and then
- 19:25Speaker 5: probably for a couple other people as well. These kids
- 19:29Speaker 5: had had it, had it made, had it made in
- 19:33Speaker 5: the shade.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Also, do we want to do tech innovation or not?
- 19:37Speaker 1: Like we're not going to have any Indian or Chinese
- 19:39Speaker 1: people come over here. We want to do tech innovation.
- 19:43Speaker 1: I don't know how that's going to work.
- 19:45Speaker 4: YEA, what percentage of Harvard is foreign?
- 19:48Speaker 5: I don't know, dude, it's as high as they're making
- 19:50Speaker 5: it out to seem, what like thirty I don't even
- 19:53Speaker 5: think it's that high. I'll look it up. Well.
- 19:55Speaker 1: From my understanding, it really raises the question whether the
- 19:59Speaker 1: president can you noilaterally make a decision like this, or
- 20:02Speaker 1: if he'll has to lean on the other branches of
- 20:05Speaker 1: the government. And I think that Harvard Columbia and their
- 20:09Speaker 1: ILK really has solid ground and footing for a lawsuit.
- 20:13Speaker 1: If that's the chance that that's the opportunity they want
- 20:17Speaker 1: to take, that's the road they want to go down.
- 20:19Speaker 5: Hair Ball, you nailed it. Twenty seven point two percent
- 20:22Speaker 5: of Harvard's student bodies composed of international students.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Very nice, Harry growing a fucking heater today. It's the gym, dude,
- 20:31Speaker 1: I really think it's the gym.
- 20:33Speaker 4: I'm taking my supplements, so it's probably why brain's just
- 20:36Speaker 4: firing on all cylinders today.
- 20:37Speaker 1: It's really fucking beautiful to watch.
- 20:39Speaker 4: You sure could just put a muzzle on my brain sometimes.
- 20:42Speaker 4: Why oh oh, I think fucking genius.
- 20:48Speaker 1: You mean like a dog muzzle or a gun.
- 20:49Speaker 4: Muzzle either or shit, they both kind of work the.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Same kind of muzzle. Dog muzzle stops you from barking.
- 20:58Speaker 5: When when I see a dog that has a hannibal
- 21:03Speaker 5: Lecter cage over its mouth, I think, thank you.
- 21:07Speaker 4: To the Yeah, we got to put a muzzle on
- 21:09Speaker 4: my dog.
- 21:10Speaker 5: I don't I don't mind that. I think that's really
- 21:12Speaker 5: responsible dog ownership because I know that even if that
- 21:17Speaker 5: dog attacks me, what we're gonna box, what's gonna happen?
- 21:21Speaker 5: Worst case is gonna jump on me and hug me
- 21:23Speaker 5: a bunch, try to paw me a little bit. Have
- 21:27Speaker 5: you seen these videos with the King Charles.
- 21:29Speaker 1: I'm obsessed with.
- 21:30Speaker 5: Oh my god, I love these videos. The King Charles
- 21:36Speaker 5: is the absolute alpha of the pound, oh King of the.
- 21:44Speaker 4: Now.
- 21:44Speaker 5: For you you see a bunch of snarly dogs with
- 21:47Speaker 5: their teeth bared, huge dogs, and then the King Charles
- 21:51Speaker 5: comes in and everybody bows down. Everyone gets on its
- 21:56Speaker 5: back and puts its paws up in the air and says,
- 21:58Speaker 5: uh oh the alpha here.
- 22:00Speaker 1: It's crazy, dude, I've never seen dog activity like this.
- 22:03Speaker 5: It's unbelieved. I've been seeing so many clips of it.
- 22:06Speaker 4: Interesting here, respect, this is not familiar here to this
- 22:11Speaker 4: h King Charles.
- 22:12Speaker 5: Now there is. It does seem as though all these
- 22:15Speaker 5: clips are coming from one account, and it kind of
- 22:17Speaker 5: makes you wonder, like, why are all the dogs so angry?
- 22:20Speaker 5: Right before the clip starts, is somebody fucking stirring them up?
- 22:24Speaker 5: And then like probably handing some fucking no o explode
- 22:29Speaker 5: to the King Charles letting it walk out there?
- 22:32Speaker 1: Did you see how the other one like bends its
- 22:34Speaker 1: kny it.
- 22:34Speaker 5: Comes down and there's those are bigger dogs.
- 22:37Speaker 4: That's crazy. Well, that one's a little dirty. King Charles definitely, Yeah,
- 22:41Speaker 4: King Charles has definitely been at the aisle of dogs.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Look at this. This is another one and the dog
- 22:48Speaker 1: the other one who bows down in the main video,
- 22:51Speaker 1: in this other video, he's like back as King Charles Henchman,
- 22:55Speaker 1: He's just like over his shoulder, like.
- 22:59Speaker 5: Shows King Charles comes walking and it's like.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Overall coming.
- 23:08Speaker 4: I mean, what's going on? Why are the dogs? They're
- 23:10Speaker 4: all fucking furious.
- 23:12Speaker 5: They're very unhappy.
- 23:13Speaker 1: There's one they've they've labeled tyrant. There's like King Charles's
- 23:17Speaker 1: name his main enemy. They're fucking amazing videos. It makes
- 23:22Speaker 1: me want to like fight dogs dominate my dog. Yeah,
- 23:25Speaker 1: it makes me like I.
- 23:33Speaker 4: Gotta get into it. We gotta get into some son
- 23:35Speaker 4: of a boy dad dog fighting. Get a team, Yeah,
- 23:39Speaker 4: I get a team together.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Why not cock I don't feel like cockfighting is such
- 23:43Speaker 1: a more smiled on. Nobody's mad about dogs.
- 23:46Speaker 4: Yeah, but then you get to beat your dog fighting.
- 23:50Speaker 4: We're not going to get any publicity from cock fighting.
- 23:53Speaker 1: We'll get their own publicity.
- 23:54Speaker 5: The nice thing about cock fighting is that when you
- 23:56Speaker 5: when you after the fight, you take the dead chicken
- 23:59Speaker 5: and it's already pounded flat into perfect chicken.
- 24:07Speaker 1: It's actually way bloodier than.
- 24:11Speaker 5: Breasts. You know, when you beat one of those pieces
- 24:14Speaker 5: of chicken flat, you know what I'm talking.
- 24:17Speaker 4: About, Like a chicken breast, when you beat it flat.
- 24:19Speaker 1: They got to beat it with one of those cleavers mallet, Yeah.
- 24:22Speaker 5: With the spikes on the end bank. Yeah, but I
- 24:24Speaker 5: thought I was cutlets, cutlets, nice flat cutlets. You bred them.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Still got it, still respiring on all cylinders. Did you
- 24:31Speaker 1: work out this morning?
- 24:32Speaker 5: No? I didn't, but I did yesterday. And I'll tell
- 24:34Speaker 5: you what, I felt a lot better. Did not choke
- 24:36Speaker 5: on my own spit as much. Hard, hit it hard.
- 24:41Speaker 4: Very glad to hear that.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Oh yes, it makes me so happy that my boys
- 24:45Speaker 1: are fucking mentally firing.
- 24:47Speaker 5: Big thing coming up this weekend, though, I'll tell you
- 24:50Speaker 5: a big thing. I am now number one on the
- 24:54Speaker 5: wait list for the member.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Guest Someone's going to have to die.
- 24:58Speaker 5: I was twelve and number one.
- 25:01Speaker 4: It's probably because you talked about it eleven people.
- 25:03Speaker 5: Here's what happened. A couple people dropped out from the field, right,
- 25:08Speaker 5: and then they go through the waitlist. But by this
- 25:10Speaker 5: point a number of the people that were on the
- 25:12Speaker 5: waitlist assumed they would not get in, so they made plans.
- 25:16Speaker 5: So they had to go up to number seven before
- 25:18Speaker 5: they found a guy to fill that spot. Interesting, and
- 25:20Speaker 5: then two more dropped this week. Man, I don't know,
- 25:23Speaker 5: it's crazy.
- 25:23Speaker 4: The top six had plans something like that. If I
- 25:27Speaker 4: was top three, I'd be like, my plan is member guest.
- 25:31Speaker 1: Yeah, but these people are not desperate for the for
- 25:33Speaker 1: the member guests. Yeah, They're like, oh, I'll just do
- 25:36Speaker 1: something else. I don't think about this.
- 25:37Speaker 4: I'm desperate, yeah, like I want the masters instead.
- 25:40Speaker 5: I want it more than anything in the world. And
- 25:43Speaker 5: I'm legitimately waiting by my phone for messages from the starter.
- 25:48Speaker 5: He's told me each time that I've moved up. Really yeah,
- 25:51Speaker 5: from the starter?
- 25:52Speaker 1: What's the starter?
- 25:53Speaker 5: The starter's the guy that kind of sends people out,
- 25:56Speaker 5: usually the kind of caddy master or the pro call.
- 26:00Speaker 5: I'm a manager, he's an outside ops guy.
- 26:02Speaker 1: And what's the level of talent going to be at
- 26:04Speaker 1: this member guest?
- 26:05Speaker 5: Hi?
- 26:06Speaker 1: Very are you the member or the guest?
- 26:08Speaker 5: I'm the member, I'm the member.
- 26:10Speaker 4: You're the member and you can't even get into your
- 26:12Speaker 4: own members.
- 26:13Speaker 5: A highly enrolled event that enters a lottery system. They
- 26:16Speaker 5: got to keep it fair.
- 26:17Speaker 4: Tell you my club would never see them.
- 26:21Speaker 5: God damn you. Ro You know that you're you're one
- 26:26Speaker 5: call away from me, just assuming that every time you
- 26:29Speaker 5: call me it's a joke, which because you've been playing
- 26:34Speaker 5: these hijinks. So for too long?
- 26:35Speaker 1: God, what have I played the whole time?
- 26:38Speaker 5: Every time the last ten times you've called me, it's.
- 26:41Speaker 1: Been hello, Hello, No, no one was actually fucking with them.
- 26:44Speaker 4: Did you call me? You called me?
- 26:46Speaker 1: I did that one time as a joke. Every other
- 26:49Speaker 1: time people have been fucking with us.
- 26:50Speaker 5: You know this is this is my Robert de Niro's
- 26:52Speaker 5: signature right there. Okay, there's two things good. I'm glad.
- 27:00Speaker 4: Pizza on my sweatshirt. And I didn't have any napkins,
- 27:02Speaker 4: so I just used that.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Excellent.
- 27:03Speaker 4: I just took it out of the I took it
- 27:05Speaker 4: out of the frame.
- 27:06Speaker 5: That is exactly how Robert would want his autograph to
- 27:10Speaker 5: be used. Yeah, he's Italian.
- 27:12Speaker 1: At least you acknowledge it's real.
- 27:14Speaker 4: I can probably find it in the trash.
- 27:18Speaker 1: I'm never gonna do something. I remember all the times
- 27:20Speaker 1: that I'd be like, when's your birthday? I'd love to
- 27:22Speaker 1: get you this thing for your birthday? That ends now
- 27:25Speaker 1: when I go out of my way to actually where
- 27:27Speaker 1: do they bear?
- 27:27Speaker 4: Where do they bury the trash in New York? Is
- 27:29Speaker 4: it upper Upper east Side?
- 27:31Speaker 5: They take it out on big barges.
- 27:35Speaker 4: They have a little dumping area landfill. They got a
- 27:37Speaker 4: little dumping area.
- 27:38Speaker 5: Do you ever see how much trash is generated on
- 27:40Speaker 5: a daily basis in this god forsaken city.
- 27:43Speaker 4: I assume a lot.
- 27:44Speaker 5: I don't even know how they do it. If they went,
- 27:46Speaker 5: if the if the trash workers went on strike, which
- 27:48Speaker 5: historically has happened, by the way, in Memphis a while back,
- 27:53Speaker 5: the trash workers went, Yeah, there, working conditions were so unsafe.
- 27:59Speaker 5: One of the guys got sucked into one of the
- 28:02Speaker 5: trucks and compacted killed. And then they like the city
- 28:07Speaker 5: was like puff, you know, puff, So they strike. They struck.
- 28:12Speaker 5: They went on strike, and the trash is piled up
- 28:16Speaker 5: for days, days and days, and uh yeah, I mean
- 28:21Speaker 5: it was like your apartment, you know, out there.
- 28:23Speaker 1: So I bet there were gunmen popping out of trash
- 28:26Speaker 1: can yeah, like trash collectors.
- 28:30Speaker 5: I think there is some sort of clause or some
- 28:33Speaker 5: agreement between the sanitation workers of New York and the
- 28:38Speaker 5: city where it's like fundamentally they're not allowed to just
- 28:43Speaker 5: not work. There is some clause because their their work
- 28:47Speaker 5: is too vital to the time cog of the city.
- 28:52Speaker 1: The cops and the firefighters, but not our damn trashmen.
- 28:55Speaker 1: You know, let the teachers go on strike. It cares
- 28:57Speaker 1: about the kids.
- 29:00Speaker 5: It's already dirty enough. It's already dirty enough.
- 29:04Speaker 4: Yeah, it is pretty dirty, nasty gross. I saw a
- 29:08Speaker 4: roach fly into my apartment yesterday. Killed it on the spot.
- 29:12Speaker 1: How'd you kill it, dude?
- 29:14Speaker 4: It came down through the chimney, just roach, you did. Literally,
- 29:18Speaker 4: I was I was literally about to go to bed.
- 29:20Speaker 4: I'm like, I'm sitting I'm sitting on my phone, just
- 29:22Speaker 4: like at my desk, about to go to bed, and
- 29:24Speaker 4: all of a sudden I just hear like a like
- 29:26Speaker 4: looking it was just a roach just dropped down from
- 29:29Speaker 4: the chimneys. Yeah, literally is it just fell? And then
- 29:34Speaker 4: I was crawling around and then I got out the.
- 29:37Speaker 5: I got out the raid. Could you tell if it
- 29:39Speaker 5: was Was it looking for its kids?
- 29:42Speaker 3: No?
- 29:43Speaker 5: So it clearly got lost.
- 29:45Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 29:45Speaker 4: As soon as it landed, it started panicking, flying around,
- 29:48Speaker 4: Papa roach. Very funny. I sprayed it down, though, and
- 29:52Speaker 4: then I crushed it and then I left it.
- 29:55Speaker 5: You sprayed it then crushed. Yeah.
- 29:58Speaker 4: Well they're always like, you can't kill a cockroach? Are
- 30:00Speaker 4: impossible to kill? I killed that thing easy, literally, like
- 30:03Speaker 4: the set from the time that it landed in my
- 30:06Speaker 4: apartment to the time that it was dead under thirty
- 30:09Speaker 4: seconds and take.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Their heads off that I still might not have been dead.
- 30:16Speaker 4: This thing was dead.
- 30:17Speaker 5: You know. I have a humane roads trap. Yeah, so
- 30:20Speaker 5: I wait till it gets filled, and then I drive
- 30:22Speaker 5: them over to the West Village and I use a
- 30:24Speaker 5: slingshot to throw them through your window. Tlimb up to
- 30:28Speaker 5: the top of your building.
- 30:29Speaker 7: Dumping down.
- 30:32Speaker 1: One of them will make it.
- 30:34Speaker 5: I want them to be comfortable your apartment. They talk
- 30:36Speaker 5: about your apartment. There's like someday I'll get there.
- 30:39Speaker 4: A humane roads trap.
- 30:41Speaker 1: That's hilarious.
- 30:42Speaker 5: That is the mecca.
- 30:43Speaker 4: I will do a humane rodent trap like I could
- 30:49Speaker 4: see like doing like a humane like raccoon trap.
- 30:51Speaker 5: Do We had a humane squirrel trap because they got
- 30:54Speaker 5: into the attic, yeah, sort of the crawl space and
- 30:57Speaker 5: they just gnawed their way in and then they would
- 30:59Speaker 5: run around all night and especially above my bedroom and
- 31:02Speaker 5: it was all night long, all night long. And this
- 31:05Speaker 5: was before I used a white noise machine, so it
- 31:07Speaker 5: was a problem. Yeah, shrow me fucking nuts and then
- 31:11Speaker 5: we would we'd get the squirrel trap out. And I
- 31:14Speaker 5: never forget when you had them, you were carrying it
- 31:16Speaker 5: like a little suitcase. They'd be running into the front
- 31:18Speaker 5: of it, yeah, bashing their faces. Yeah, like they were nuts,
- 31:21Speaker 5: and they'd have the wire imprinted on their nose. Buddy,
- 31:25Speaker 5: buddy there.
- 31:26Speaker 4: Damn.
- 31:27Speaker 5: We'd drive them like sixteen miles away. They'd come back.
- 31:30Speaker 4: Yeah, for sure.
- 31:30Speaker 5: I gotta drive them, and you gotta spin them around
- 31:34Speaker 5: like it's dizzy bat dude.
- 31:38Speaker 4: We had a in my when I was growing up
- 31:40Speaker 4: in like middle school, high school, but my bedroom had
- 31:43Speaker 4: like a crawl space behind it, behind my bed, and
- 31:46Speaker 4: I remember one night in the middle of the night,
- 31:48Speaker 4: I just heard scratching on the wall. It was like
- 31:50Speaker 4: a squirrel or a raccoon or something, but it was
- 31:53Speaker 4: literally like this far from my head. And I packed
- 31:56Speaker 4: up and went down. I slept on my couch downstairs,
- 31:59Speaker 4: closed my I told my parents. I was like, there's
- 32:01Speaker 4: like a possum under my bed or something. Yeah, I
- 32:03Speaker 4: thought it was in my room.
- 32:05Speaker 5: It's tough.
- 32:06Speaker 1: Yeah, did they find it. Never did.
- 32:09Speaker 4: Never did. Could have been a could have been a person.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Could have been a ghost. Yeah, it's way more likely
- 32:15Speaker 1: that that was a ghost. They never found it. There
- 32:17Speaker 1: was a clawing right next to your head as you slept. Yeah,
- 32:20Speaker 1: I can't believe you assumed that was a rodent.
- 32:22Speaker 4: There was a protein shake next to my bed, and
- 32:24Speaker 4: I knocked it over and I didn't clean it up
- 32:26Speaker 4: until the next day.
- 32:27Speaker 5: You brought a protein shake to bed, Yeah, and I
- 32:32Speaker 5: had it in my room.
- 32:33Speaker 4: That probably didn't I probably didn't finish it or something.
- 32:35Speaker 5: That wasn't your nighttime.
- 32:37Speaker 4: No, no, no, it could have been. I don't know.
- 32:39Speaker 5: Boy, that's some badass teenage ship. Yeah. Yeah, just bedside
- 32:44Speaker 5: protein ship.
- 32:45Speaker 1: Yeah, always in the milk before bed.
- 32:48Speaker 4: Yeah. I used to slam two protein shakes a day
- 32:51Speaker 4: until like two years ago.
- 32:53Speaker 5: Well that you got to you got to get back
- 32:55Speaker 5: on the team. No, that's what's causing all your soreness.
- 32:59Speaker 4: Protein causes more problem that that fake protein.
- 33:02Speaker 5: Destroyed the real stuff.
- 33:04Speaker 4: Oh I'm just eating chicken.
- 33:06Speaker 5: Why don't you get some some of the plant based
- 33:09Speaker 5: Maybe maybe that's the trash.
- 33:12Speaker 4: Yeah, may as well sprinkle fairy dust into my smoothie.
- 33:17Speaker 1: You just wanted your metabolism to be as slow as
- 33:19Speaker 1: possible as Yeah, fell asleep exactly. You want to lose
- 33:22Speaker 1: as little weight as you could over and now.
- 33:24Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean that's that's the balk life set of
- 33:27Speaker 4: arms for three and five shakes in between, back to right.
- 33:33Speaker 4: That's what those fucking uh like Hulk dudes do. The
- 33:37Speaker 4: strong Man.
- 33:38Speaker 5: Yeah, that I watched it.
- 33:40Speaker 4: I watched like a documentary and it was like this
- 33:41Speaker 4: is like, dude, there was like nine hundred pounds I
- 33:44Speaker 4: think it was what's his name.
- 33:45Speaker 5: Thoor th Old.
- 33:49Speaker 4: Yeah, and from Harvard. His girlfriend, his girlfriend or wife,
- 33:54Speaker 4: is like is like maybe one eighth of his size,
- 33:58Speaker 4: and she's waking him up like every hour in the
- 34:00Speaker 4: middle of the night to be like, you gotta drink
- 34:01Speaker 4: this this fucking protein shake because he would lose like
- 34:04Speaker 4: twenty pounds over night if he doesn't. Just putting someone
- 34:07Speaker 4: they're so fucking big.
- 34:09Speaker 1: So he accidentally swallows as he snores. That's so insane.
- 34:13Speaker 4: Wow, that's going to be that miserable. Yes, imagine being
- 34:17Speaker 4: woken up in the middle of the night and someone
- 34:18Speaker 4: was like, drink this chocolate protein shake.
- 34:22Speaker 1: You can't.
- 34:23Speaker 5: I'm just picturing his girlfriend being in eighth of his size.
- 34:27Speaker 5: Oh tiny, that she to him is the equivalent of
- 34:31Speaker 5: me jerking off with the flesh light.
- 34:33Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly.
- 34:34Speaker 5: He's just using her body, yeah, to masturbate himself exactly.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Yeah, the guys who are really densely mustard like he's
- 34:40Speaker 1: at least big proportionally, the guys who are really densely
- 34:44Speaker 1: muscular is very gross to me.
- 34:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 34:48Speaker 1: I mean, I'm sure I'm gross to them, but it's
- 34:50Speaker 1: very disgusting.
- 34:51Speaker 5: That guy Thor. You're talking about the mountain from Game
- 34:54Speaker 5: of Thrones.
- 34:55Speaker 1: That's why i'm during the mountain.
- 34:57Speaker 4: Oh, I was picturing Thor, the heavy, the now the
- 35:01Speaker 4: fucking what's his name, the strong man.
- 35:06Speaker 5: I was. I thought that that was the mountain.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Fucked anyway to terrifying my person out he is, he
- 35:20Speaker 1: is the mountain. Yeah, we're talking about the same guy.
- 35:23Speaker 5: That's what I thought. Something happened to his face. He
- 35:27Speaker 5: got so muscular that his face had a stroke.
- 35:30Speaker 1: Some guys do that, Sammy Sosa, Barry Bonds. Their faces
- 35:33Speaker 1: all changed.
- 35:34Speaker 4: And look how fucking big this guy is.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Imagine yeah, imagine getting fucked by him.
- 35:41Speaker 4: His dick is probably tiny, I would think, so.
- 35:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know, he's so proportionally huge that it
- 35:48Speaker 1: has to.
- 35:49Speaker 4: Have, but his face kind of isn't proportionately.
- 35:51Speaker 5: I always wonder about the kidneys on these guys, right,
- 35:54Speaker 5: because that level of protein intake is an assault. Yeah,
- 36:00Speaker 5: three ever stop.
- 36:01Speaker 4: I mean it's probably three hundred grams a day at least.
- 36:04Speaker 5: Yeah. I don't know how. I don't know how they're
- 36:06Speaker 5: doing that. That seems what is his barbell?
- 36:10Speaker 1: Let me see it or dumbo?
- 36:12Speaker 4: I guess yeah, Oh that's the uh. I think it's
- 36:15Speaker 4: like a It might be like a ton something insane like.
- 36:19Speaker 1: That his one hand. I forgot how much of his shoulder.
- 36:23Speaker 5: I've seen the videos on each side.
- 36:26Speaker 4: I think even just getting your hand around the grip
- 36:28Speaker 4: of that is like almost impossible.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Where do we think his bulge is in here? Is
- 36:31Speaker 1: it this top area or is it it's definitely not
- 36:34Speaker 1: down here, that's just the pull of the pant.
- 36:37Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't think it's down there.
- 36:38Speaker 1: I think that's right.
- 36:40Speaker 5: Yeah, that's that there he is.
- 36:41Speaker 1: Yeah, what do you think, Harry, where's his bulge to.
- 36:44Speaker 4: Two hundred and twenty pound dumbbell? M? I don't think
- 36:48Speaker 4: he's got one.
- 36:49Speaker 1: Is it down here this area or is it up
- 36:52Speaker 1: here in this area?
- 36:54Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 36:56Speaker 1: That makes that like those if those are his two balls,
- 36:59Speaker 1: that's insane.
- 37:01Speaker 5: That's tough.
- 37:03Speaker 1: Those are marbles.
- 37:04Speaker 4: Yeah, I guess.
- 37:05Speaker 1: That's what happens. I don't know. Does steroid shrinks your
- 37:08Speaker 1: balls down?
- 37:09Speaker 4: That is what they say, right, So they used to
- 37:11Speaker 4: tell us as kids.
- 37:12Speaker 1: They would because they didn't want you hitting diggers.
- 37:14Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly. They didn't want me to reach my full potential.
- 37:18Speaker 1: All right, Oh your nuts will get small?
- 37:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Probably that's the school across town saying that because they're
- 37:22Speaker 1: gonna hit diggers.
- 37:23Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 37:25Speaker 5: We had a strengthened conditioning coach, coach fits uh, and
- 37:31Speaker 5: one time someone asked him about steroids. Yeah, and he goes,
- 37:35Speaker 5: I'll tell you the truth about steroids. You want to
- 37:37Speaker 5: know what the side effects of steroids are? Bigger, stronger, faster.
- 37:42Speaker 4: Rules. That's it. I mean, that's what I've talked to
- 37:46Speaker 4: a few people who have done steroids, and they pretty
- 37:48Speaker 4: much all say that. But they all also are like,
- 37:51Speaker 4: I think if I kept doing them, I would have died.
- 37:52Speaker 5: Well, I think that you know, one's like human growth hormone.
- 37:55Speaker 5: I mean that gets prescribed to people HGH small people.
- 38:00Speaker 4: Yeah, I thought HGH was the worst one.
- 38:02Speaker 5: It's only bad allegedly if you have cancer, because are
- 38:07Speaker 5: predisposed to cancer, because cancer is a like whatever, an
- 38:11Speaker 5: unstoppable doubling and quadrupling of your cells right in an
- 38:16Speaker 5: out of control way, and I think it accelerates that process.
- 38:19Speaker 4: I thought it made like your organs bigger too.
- 38:22Speaker 1: That makes sense to you get it in large heart?
- 38:24Speaker 4: Yeah, I thought it like enlarged your heart.
- 38:26Speaker 5: Could do, could well do?
- 38:27Speaker 4: I don't know enough about it.
- 38:28Speaker 5: There was a kid on the wrestling team at school
- 38:31Speaker 5: who was really small. I mean he wrestled in like
- 38:34Speaker 5: the fucking one and ten pound division. Yeah, they might
- 38:38Speaker 5: have even created a new weight class weight. He might
- 38:42Speaker 5: have been wrestling like pandas or yeah. Yeah, And he
- 38:46Speaker 5: was prescribed HGH. Was allowed to take it as a
- 38:49Speaker 5: non violation of the NCAA's Banned Substances policy because I
- 38:54Speaker 5: think without it he would have just like deflated into
- 38:56Speaker 5: a balloon.
- 38:57Speaker 4: Dam Getting prescribed g H is insane.
- 39:01Speaker 5: Yeah, he needed it.
- 39:02Speaker 4: Yeah, he's probably pumped. It's like you get home and
- 39:05Speaker 4: you're like, well, this is definitely gonna work. There's literally
- 39:13Speaker 4: no way this will not work.
- 39:15Speaker 1: There was a kid at my high school who did
- 39:17Speaker 1: steroids and he said it made him into like a
- 39:19Speaker 1: sick kisser.
- 39:21Speaker 5: Oh yeah, like a really good kiss Really, I can
- 39:24Speaker 5: see that.
- 39:25Speaker 4: I'm not surprised at all.
- 39:26Speaker 5: I mean, your tongue just doesn't get as tired. Is
- 39:29Speaker 5: that what it is?
- 39:30Speaker 1: I think he said there's lips like it was like
- 39:32Speaker 1: extra rest lips kissing. Yeah, so good at it, they said,
- 39:37Speaker 1: God damn dude. All the girls actually would be trying
- 39:40Speaker 1: to kiss him. I don't want to docks him.
- 39:43Speaker 4: There's a couple of kids that I I grew up
- 39:45Speaker 4: with that would take steroids in like high school and
- 39:47Speaker 4: just not work out, just sit it, would just lay
- 39:50Speaker 4: down and just pop steroids like like just waiting to
- 39:55Speaker 4: get jacked, just waiting for it to happen overnight.
- 39:59Speaker 1: They're on the any That's what they were on for
- 40:03Speaker 1: Rough and Rowdy. You forgot many episodes ago what steroid
- 40:07Speaker 1: they did before Rough and Rowdy and it was winthrow.
- 40:10Speaker 5: Is that what Smithy didn't taking because.
- 40:13Speaker 1: That's what remember twenty dollars Chef was like, he was
- 40:15Speaker 1: on the Witny. He was on the Winny.
- 40:18Speaker 4: That's crazy. Taking steroids for Rough and Rowdy is insane.
- 40:22Speaker 1: It's not.
- 40:24Speaker 5: Thing.
- 40:24Speaker 4: Yeah, whatever, I'd be worried about how strong I would become.
- 40:29Speaker 4: I would worry I would.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Kill everybody from Barstool that fought in rough and rowdy,
- 40:33Speaker 1: took steroids really first generation for sure, that's insane generation.
- 40:39Speaker 4: I don't think you can really be fucking around with
- 40:41Speaker 4: the roids like that.
- 40:45Speaker 5: I can't tell you.
- 40:46Speaker 1: I'm trying to remember who else did it, and if
- 40:48Speaker 1: I should say, did Pat do him? You think he's
- 40:51Speaker 1: already on Oh, he's on the roids.
- 40:54Speaker 5: He's gonna have to be when you're a guy good.
- 40:56Speaker 1: I mean you imagine just being a bad body day
- 40:58Speaker 1: in New York City like that?
- 41:02Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, you could do that in Pickens out there, Yeah.
- 41:06Speaker 5: In northern Georgia, being a paunchy girl and a sigtaw
- 41:09Speaker 5: sorority at Alabama.
- 41:11Speaker 1: I just won't. I mean, you'll get you'll get fucked,
- 41:13Speaker 1: I guess, but it's gonna be the You'll be the
- 41:15Speaker 1: fourth guy of his night.
- 41:18Speaker 5: That's it.
- 41:19Speaker 1: It just won't be. It won't be special. It won't
- 41:21Speaker 1: be as so special as it would be if you
- 41:22Speaker 1: were just a fucking ripped gay guy.
- 41:25Speaker 5: By the way, are are this is a dumb Oh? Actually,
- 41:29Speaker 5: I have a really important question. I have a really
- 41:32Speaker 5: nuanced basketball question. So I'm going to direct this at Roan.
- 41:36Speaker 5: Since you are a friend of the Black Well, I
- 41:40Speaker 5: was gonna say, basketball community, what's the difference?
- 41:44Speaker 1: Uh, You're absolutely right, Alex Caruso.
- 41:49Speaker 5: Imagine if Trump banned foreign players from the NBA to many.
- 41:55Speaker 1: The Greek freak there, it's on the jerseys, the joker,
- 42:00Speaker 1: the Greek freak. These sound like Trump nickname.
- 42:05Speaker 5: Uh So, okay, here's my question. You ready for this round?
- 42:08Speaker 5: This is a big one because I was watching the
- 42:10Speaker 5: next game and there was a moment where it was
- 42:14Speaker 5: in Indiana and a play happened where they showed the
- 42:20Speaker 5: replay on the jumbo tron, which caused the Knicks coach
- 42:25Speaker 5: Thibodeaux to issue a challenge. Yes, And first of all,
- 42:30Speaker 5: I thought, why would the scoreboard replay guy play a
- 42:36Speaker 5: replay that made it clear the refs had made the.
- 42:39Speaker 1: Call the wrong call in favor of the AWAIT team.
- 42:42Speaker 5: Yeah, and challenging it would favor the Await team because
- 42:45Speaker 5: it turned out to be a foul against the Pacers
- 42:47Speaker 5: instead of an out of bounds that was gonna be
- 42:49Speaker 5: Indiana ball. But then I wondered, why is showing replays
- 42:56Speaker 5: on the jumbo tron in order to allow coaches to
- 43:01Speaker 5: throw challenges allowed at all?
- 43:06Speaker 1: Why is that allowed? Interesting? Nuanced question. I think before
- 43:09Speaker 1: instant replay in the NFL, the actual referees would watch
- 43:14Speaker 1: replays on the jumbo tron to make their decision. The
- 43:17Speaker 1: referees will watch them over and over again. But now
- 43:20Speaker 1: teams have a replay assistant on the sideline who after
- 43:25Speaker 1: every play they'll go to. In the case of the
- 43:27Speaker 1: Milwaukee Bucks, there was a woman with a laptop on
- 43:29Speaker 1: her lap and she would in the moment watch it
- 43:32Speaker 1: over and be like yes or no the coach as
- 43:34Speaker 1: fast as possible. So there's somebody who's working ostensibly faster
- 43:40Speaker 1: than the replay person, but sometimes they wouldn't get the
- 43:43Speaker 1: answer in time and that so you'll see sometimes players
- 43:46Speaker 1: hold onto the ball, they won't give it back to
- 43:48Speaker 1: the referee to buy their own research replay assistant a
- 43:51Speaker 1: little bit of time.
- 43:52Speaker 5: I mean, you see coaches like craning their necks to
- 43:57Speaker 5: watch and then they're like, we challenge. I don't understand. Again,
- 44:03Speaker 5: I don't understand why. I get why the home scoreboard
- 44:08Speaker 5: operator JumboTron operator would show footage that clearly means the
- 44:14Speaker 5: coach to challenge, but I would not understand why they
- 44:16Speaker 5: would show.
- 44:17Speaker 1: I think a lot, don't I think a lot of
- 44:18Speaker 1: times you're at a stadium and they're like, oh, they're
- 44:20Speaker 1: not shown that replay. That probably means that we're about
- 44:22Speaker 1: to get that penalty or we're not gonna have that
- 44:24Speaker 1: completion count for us.
- 44:26Speaker 5: And if that's true, then doesn't that seem like something
- 44:29Speaker 5: that is beyond the scope of the game and should
- 44:33Speaker 5: not really be an accessible resource for coaches to use
- 44:38Speaker 5: to determine if they should challenge or not.
- 44:40Speaker 1: I think that what matters most is the experience of
- 44:43Speaker 1: the viewer, and so if you're at the game at
- 44:46Speaker 1: the stadium, you're gonna be like, I want to have
- 44:48Speaker 1: the massive jumbo tron. How you can sell tickets to
- 44:52Speaker 1: the game is the big JumboTron. So I think that
- 44:55Speaker 1: they're the ones who are being served. But I agree
- 44:58Speaker 1: that there's a fairness disadvantage. What do you think?
- 45:01Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 45:01Speaker 4: I would assume there's got to be some sort of
- 45:03Speaker 4: regulations around what they can show on the JumboTron and
- 45:05Speaker 4: what they can't. Like, I'm sure if they're just feeding
- 45:11Speaker 4: videos of like if it's the NFL and they're just
- 45:13Speaker 4: showing Tyreek Hill getting locked up by Christian Gonzales on
- 45:17Speaker 4: replay for four hours. The NFL probably wouldn't be too
- 45:20Speaker 4: happy about that, right, They probably be like, well, clearly,
- 45:23Speaker 4: this is not going to be a welcoming environment for
- 45:25Speaker 4: the other team's fans, which again tickets.
- 45:30Speaker 5: I think so the.
- 45:32Speaker 4: Tickets, I would assume they're probably not allowed to, like
- 45:37Speaker 4: consistently withhold replays from the other team.
- 45:42Speaker 1: I think that the hardest thing for the replay operator
- 45:45Speaker 1: has to be when a young fan will simulate fillatio
- 45:49Speaker 1: onto the camera and go yeah, and you have to
- 45:53Speaker 1: kind of hit camera two really fast or unpinning if
- 45:58Speaker 1: you're the yeah, good Christian care.
- 46:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 46:01Speaker 5: I love it when I'm at a game and there
- 46:03Speaker 5: are some kids in front of me who are begging
- 46:06Speaker 5: to get onto the jumbo tron and you finally see
- 46:09Speaker 5: that the camera guy comes over. He's pointing it right
- 46:12Speaker 5: at them, which means in five seconds, it's good time
- 46:16Speaker 5: about to absolutely outshine these kids. Yeah, nobody's gonna be
- 46:21Speaker 5: looking at them.
- 46:21Speaker 4: Beer chugs, simulated falatio, simulated falatio.
- 46:27Speaker 1: From worse from someone next to you.
- 46:30Speaker 4: Perhaps maybe involve the beer chug in the simulated fillatio.
- 46:34Speaker 5: Give the kid a beer, Give the kid a beer,
- 46:36Speaker 5: simulate the get him started early teach them to responsibly.
- 46:40Speaker 4: And if.
- 46:43Speaker 1: The problem that a lot of people face when they
- 46:46Speaker 1: get on the jumbo tron is they'll be sitting in
- 46:49Speaker 1: their seats, the jumbo tron will go on them and
- 46:52Speaker 1: they'll excitedly stand up and just give us like a
- 46:55Speaker 1: dick view. Like then the zumboans zoom out, zoom back in,
- 46:58Speaker 1: and I find that you have to kind of continue
- 47:00Speaker 1: doing what you're doing. If you start going crazy tapping
- 47:02Speaker 1: the people on next to you, that's bad jumbo tron etiquette.
- 47:05Speaker 1: It pisses me off to know it.
- 47:07Speaker 5: You know that someone's seasoned jumbo tron appear when they
- 47:12Speaker 5: can maintain eye contact on the camera instead of looking
- 47:16Speaker 5: up to see themselves on the jumbo tron, which.
- 47:18Speaker 1: Is rare agreed celebrity row at the next game, they
- 47:24Speaker 1: could do it. Oh yeah, Kelsey Plumb the way she
- 47:27Speaker 1: can do it, but not many other people. You Kelsey Plumn,
- 47:33Speaker 1: you brothers are feeling one another.
- 47:35Speaker 4: Have you ever have you ever seen the Kelsey Plum
- 47:37Speaker 4: t shirt toss now throws at like three hundred yards.
- 47:42Speaker 1: He breaks the knocks down, one of the banners come
- 47:45Speaker 1: to the ceiling.
- 47:46Speaker 4: Crazy's Kelsey Plum at w NBA player, one of the
- 47:49Speaker 4: best in the league. Honestly cool. Yeah, you really don't
- 47:53Speaker 4: know her.
- 47:54Speaker 1: Nope, she should date Darren Waller and when he was
- 47:59Speaker 1: on Vegas, I think he cheated on her or something.
- 48:02Speaker 4: Like that sounds about right.
- 48:04Speaker 5: This is the country singer.
- 48:05Speaker 4: And then she beat the ship out of him.
- 48:08Speaker 1: So that's Hope Solo that you're thinking of. Oh yes,
- 48:12Speaker 1: Tim Howard, Yeah, yeah, Darren Waller cheated on her and
- 48:16Speaker 1: then she broke up with him. I think when he
- 48:19Speaker 1: got traded to the Giants. Maybe that's why he got
- 48:22Speaker 1: traded to the Giants, or that trade broke during their
- 48:25Speaker 1: wedding or.
- 48:26Speaker 4: They were like, you're not gonna if you're not gonna
- 48:28Speaker 4: bring Kelsey around anymore, you're off the team.
- 48:31Speaker 1: And then she went to the game and she pretended
- 48:33Speaker 1: to eat popcorn and she was like like being like
- 48:35Speaker 1: a funny girl, like.
- 48:36Speaker 5: Oh yeah, yeah, boy, I like this plumb girl. I
- 48:39Speaker 5: never I don't know much about her.
- 48:40Speaker 4: I think you've seen you've never seen the plotforn eating video. No,
- 48:43Speaker 4: my god, no, it's got to be like one of
- 48:46Speaker 4: the more popular videos of the last watching my King Charles.
- 48:51Speaker 4: This is this has been going on for years.
- 48:57Speaker 1: So what is this?
- 48:58Speaker 5: This is what she does?
- 48:58Speaker 1: She eats, eats and then to her friend like, I'm
- 49:01Speaker 1: so fucking weird, and does this every game. No, she
- 49:04Speaker 1: just did it once and it's become a gift of
- 49:06Speaker 1: like pick me girl?
- 49:08Speaker 5: Oh is she? Is she doing it to imitate the
- 49:11Speaker 5: meme of like, Ooh, there's something crazy happening and I
- 49:13Speaker 5: can't wait to watch.

- 49:23Speaker 1: and then pretends to be a quirky girl eating popcorn
- 49:26Speaker 1: and it visibly laughs again.
- 49:27Speaker 5: So can you explain pick me to me? What does
- 49:30Speaker 5: that mean? Exactly? Pick me girl?
- 49:33Speaker 1: Sas.
- 49:35Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 49:37Speaker 1: I think it's like a girl who's like, I'm not
- 49:39Speaker 1: like the other girls like I just like to watch
- 49:41Speaker 1: football and have beer.
- 49:44Speaker 4: We used to call them whores.

- 50:18Speaker 9: I know you, guys.
- 50:19Speaker 1: I'm Ryan Whitney. I got a drink named after me, dude.
- 50:22Speaker 5: Pink Whitney.
- 50:24Speaker 2: That's what I thought, see you, fellas.
- 50:25Speaker 1: I invented the thing.
- 50:26Speaker 4: You pigeoned Pink Whitney for legendary moments.
- 50:30Speaker 1: Pick me definition Yeah, being of a pick me generally
- 50:39Speaker 1: refers to someone off of a woman who attest to
- 50:41Speaker 1: gain attention to validation from them by just distancing herself
- 50:44Speaker 1: from other women and often adopting scare of types her
- 50:46Speaker 1: behaviors associated with masculinity.
- 50:49Speaker 5: She's like a scab to women.
- 50:53Speaker 1: She crossed the picket line. Yeah, take them. Actually with
- 50:55Speaker 1: the men.
- 50:56Speaker 5: Now she's riding on the bus to the Minds with
- 50:58Speaker 5: the rest of the men while all the women are
- 51:00Speaker 5: throwing eggs at her.
- 51:01Speaker 1: And people are like, oh, so you're a lesbian. She's like, no, No,
- 51:04Speaker 1: She's a straighter than anyone. She's a big Kaitlyn Clark
- 51:07Speaker 1: hater right who plumb? Yeah, yeah, I think she's just
- 51:12Speaker 1: giving her a hard time. Welcome to the league, Yeah,
- 51:14Speaker 1: welcome to the league. But she's like a lesser Batman
- 51:16Speaker 1: villain to Caitlyn. Clark's like, like, obviously the main one
- 51:21Speaker 1: is Angel Reese, Like that's the Joker. Yeah yeah, Angel
- 51:24Speaker 1: Reese is her Joker, But I don't like that.
- 51:28Speaker 4: Seems like more of a one way rivalry at this point.
- 51:31Speaker 1: She's her villain though, She's.
- 51:32Speaker 4: Like Clark dominates Angel Reese.
- 51:35Speaker 1: Batman fucking always beats the Joker, and every year.
- 51:38Speaker 4: Batman got ruffed up by the Joker pretty bad.
- 51:41Speaker 1: Yeah, well she won the first Yeah.
- 51:45Speaker 5: I get why she's so mad, though, I mean, she
- 51:48Speaker 5: had a tough childhood. Who plumb grew up without her dad.
- 51:52Speaker 5: The academic guy with the knife in the library, I have.
- 51:57Speaker 4: No idea what that is in reference to that in
- 52:00Speaker 4: that's Batman.
- 52:01Speaker 5: Too, Professor Plump, Professor Plum with the knife in the.
- 52:06Speaker 4: I have no idea clue. No, yeah, no, I'm not
- 52:10Speaker 4: up to date on my clue reference.
- 52:12Speaker 5: Talk about games.
- 52:15Speaker 1: You don't know the reference to the board game, dumb ass.
- 52:18Speaker 5: Colonel Mustard.
- 52:19Speaker 4: You don't know Professor Plum from Clue.
- 52:22Speaker 5: That's her dad, you She was set to enter a
- 52:26Speaker 5: life of academia in her father's footsteps until.
- 52:30Speaker 1: But Colonel Mustard was DJ Mustard's dad. That's right. DJ
- 52:34Speaker 1: Mustard was a military brat.
- 52:37Speaker 5: That's who Kendrick is talking about when he goes it's.
- 52:41Speaker 1: About Colonel Mustard from the board game. Then turn the
- 52:47Speaker 1: TV Off is a song about playing more board games.
- 52:50Speaker 1: That's turn the TV off, turn the TV, turn the
- 52:54Speaker 1: TV off, turn the TV off.
- 52:56Speaker 4: Bore games are fun. I haven't played a good board
- 52:58Speaker 4: game in a while. I love a good scrap I
- 53:00Speaker 4: need you, guys. Scrabbles just sucks because everyone cheats and
- 53:02Speaker 4: they make up words and yeah, Francis has to be
- 53:05Speaker 4: the worst person.
- 53:06Speaker 5: On her because I know, I know zine.
- 53:10Speaker 4: That's this is it's actually the Latin origin.
- 53:13Speaker 5: That's where the challenge comes in. But it's like you
- 53:16Speaker 5: can challenge.
- 53:17Speaker 4: I want to see xylophone, I want to see zebra.
- 53:20Speaker 4: Give me some tricky ones. Don't give me these fake
- 53:22Speaker 4: bullshit words that never existed words e A. I'm sure
- 53:26Speaker 4: it is in your dictionary.
- 53:27Speaker 5: You have to know all the two letter words to
- 53:29Speaker 5: be really good at scrabble.
- 53:30Speaker 4: Yeah, but that's why it's not fun to play with
- 53:32Speaker 4: cheap like that.
- 53:33Speaker 5: Q I is a word, yeah, chat q A, t
- 53:38Speaker 5: q A. You got to know the Q words when
- 53:40Speaker 5: you don't eat, when you don't have a U. You
- 53:41Speaker 5: got to know how to get dump your q I
- 53:44Speaker 5: know how to dumb my que well quiet. There's also
- 53:51Speaker 5: there's also x I and x U are both words,
- 53:54Speaker 5: so if you get a triple letter, it's such bullsh
- 53:56Speaker 5: and you can go both ways. That's a major how.
- 54:00Speaker 4: Scrabbles still not have just inserts for you to put
- 54:03Speaker 4: the fucking You need to tile.
- 54:06Speaker 5: You need to buy a better board. Those are the
- 54:09Speaker 5: deluxe boards that have the actual thing and it swivels
- 54:13Speaker 5: lazy suit and.
- 54:14Speaker 4: That sounds way more enjoyable because I can't stand it's
- 54:17Speaker 4: terrible when the tiles are misplay. It drives me out
- 54:20Speaker 4: of my mind.
- 54:22Speaker 5: Flat board where the pieces are sliding all over the place.
- 54:26Speaker 4: I always got to go in and rearrange them, tighten
- 54:28Speaker 4: them up.
- 54:30Speaker 5: I get that completely. You deserve one of the gourmet boards.
- 54:34Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know. I never got the gourmet. I
- 54:35Speaker 4: never had like the monopoly where you have the credit cards.
- 54:38Speaker 4: You ever see that. No, there's like a cat there's
- 54:41Speaker 4: like a cashless Monopoly now it comes with it comes
- 54:45Speaker 4: with a scanner and fake credit cards.
- 54:48Speaker 5: People probably don't know what the cash is Boardwalk, you
- 54:51Speaker 5: owe me one half of a bitcoin.
- 54:54Speaker 4: If you did, If you did cashless Monopoly, the game
- 54:56Speaker 4: would last third, half of ninety percent of that game
- 54:59Speaker 4: is being like, ah, wait, if you got this, then
- 55:01Speaker 4: that means I owe you six Like that's the whole
- 55:04Speaker 4: game rather than just tap.
- 55:07Speaker 5: Dudee.
- 55:09Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't do the malroads now.
- 55:16Speaker 5: Monopoly Deal is my preferred version of Monopoly. Now, I
- 55:19Speaker 5: love that game.
- 55:19Speaker 4: I'm not familiar at all.
- 55:21Speaker 5: It's great, it's cards, it's really fun. It's a really
- 55:24Speaker 5: fun game.
- 55:24Speaker 1: How do Monopoly even get to the top of the
- 55:27Speaker 1: board game Empire?
- 55:28Speaker 4: It's such a fun game. It's definitely my.
- 55:30Speaker 5: Favorite board marketing from Big Board game.
- 55:32Speaker 4: The problem is that no one wants to play it
- 55:34Speaker 4: because it takes long.
- 55:35Speaker 5: No, I don't like Monopoly why. The rules are much
- 55:39Speaker 5: more complicated than you'd think when you get towards the
- 55:43Speaker 5: end game. Have you ever properly ended a game of Monopoly?
- 55:47Speaker 4: Probably not.
- 55:48Speaker 5: The rules about like mortgaging your properties and properties that
- 55:52Speaker 5: have houses and hotels on them, and what you get
- 55:54Speaker 5: for that and what's live and like how you actually
- 55:58Speaker 5: end the game is it gets dark, dark dark?
- 56:03Speaker 1: How well you have to like kill off so many
- 56:06Speaker 1: people you stop passing, go the police officers and drunk road.
- 56:12Speaker 5: Yeah, it just it just is tough. Usually the game
- 56:15Speaker 5: ends because it's like, well, clearly I can't afford to
- 56:17Speaker 5: pay you that, so okay, you win. Yeah, but a
- 56:20Speaker 5: lot of the time you can afford to pay it
- 56:22Speaker 5: if you mortgage all your properties.
- 56:23Speaker 4: Yeah, but then it just becomes a slippery slope, like
- 56:25Speaker 4: you know, because I always used to just get the
- 56:28Speaker 4: railroads because then every time someone hits one of the railroads,
- 56:30Speaker 4: they have to give you a shit ton of money
- 56:31Speaker 4: if you have all four if you have all fours
- 56:32Speaker 4: two bucks rounders, yeah, yeah, and I would get all
- 56:35Speaker 4: the railroads and then I'll get properties too. But it's
- 56:37Speaker 4: like by the end, it's like you're selling off your
- 56:38Speaker 4: It's just every round you're like, what I'm gonna have
- 56:40Speaker 4: to sell this time? Like you you have a general idea.
- 56:43Speaker 4: I feel like like when someone's got the dark Blues
- 56:48Speaker 4: and they've got hotels on them and you're like, if
- 56:50Speaker 4: I land on that, it's over.
- 56:52Speaker 5: Yes, but there are only two. Yeah, but green the
- 56:58Speaker 5: greens are a bigger problem.
- 57:00Speaker 4: The greens are an issue as well.
- 57:01Speaker 1: You should just get something out of staying at the hotel.
- 57:03Speaker 1: Should be a little bit nicer. Yeah, you should, like
- 57:06Speaker 1: you should be able to experience or if you maybe if.
- 57:08Speaker 4: You hit it like seven times too, you get a
- 57:10Speaker 4: little bit of a status, you know.
- 57:12Speaker 1: Discount Yeah, yeah, platinum, Yeah, pay for the car, hotel,
- 57:16Speaker 1: get the get the hotel, one night free stay at
- 57:19Speaker 1: the hotel maybe would be nice.
- 57:20Speaker 4: We need to make a more modern version of Monopoly
- 57:24Speaker 4: where there's like a Verbo.
- 57:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 57:25Speaker 4: The first hour is just figuring out what credit card
- 57:28Speaker 4: you want? What's the most realistic one.
- 57:31Speaker 1: You could turn your house into an Airbn. This house
- 57:35Speaker 1: is actually a hotel.
- 57:36Speaker 4: Now it's Memorial Day weekend. You know I'm renting that
- 57:40Speaker 4: weekends Avenue.
- 57:42Speaker 5: Let's read some reviews who stayed here in the past.
- 57:46Speaker 4: You should be able to just not stay places.
- 57:48Speaker 5: The hot tub wasn't clean.
- 57:50Speaker 4: Now I'm gonna spind again. I'm not staying at that
- 57:52Speaker 4: fucking dump.
- 57:53Speaker 5: I pass.
- 57:55Speaker 1: Just buy it on Klarna. Four payments for I'm not
- 58:01Speaker 1: conna pay it front. When you do.
- 58:02Speaker 4: Those things are crazy. When you're buying like a fucking
- 58:06Speaker 4: toothbrush on Amazon and they're like with fifteen easy payments
- 58:10Speaker 4: you could hand. You're like, dude, what they charge a
- 58:14Speaker 4: dollar a week for ten years?
- 58:16Speaker 1: I know Clarina doesn't charge interest, but do they have to?
- 58:21Speaker 5: Amazon does fifteen years later? Like I wish then. What
- 58:24Speaker 5: I know now is.
- 58:28Speaker 4: Brush.
- 58:29Speaker 5: This has been the bane of my existence. Every year,
- 58:32Speaker 5: every year the date comes around.
- 58:36Speaker 1: Much what I was told was just to never do
- 58:38Speaker 1: any of that ship pay pay cash for everything.
- 58:41Speaker 4: Yeah, if you got the cash, pay the cash because
- 58:43Speaker 4: like the like I remember when I got on PlayStation.
- 58:46Speaker 4: I remember they were like trying to get me to
- 58:47Speaker 4: sign up for one of the best Buy credit cards.
- 58:49Speaker 4: I remember the lady at the front desk was like,
- 58:51Speaker 4: don't do it. It was like I wasn't going to
- 58:54Speaker 4: but like she gave the whole speech and then she
- 58:56Speaker 4: was like, don't.
- 58:57Speaker 5: Get the credit card. Yeah.
- 58:58Speaker 4: She was like I tell my kids the same thing.
- 59:01Speaker 1: And I was like, oh yeah, she was worried about you.
- 59:03Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 59:03Speaker 4: I was like I wasn't going to get the best
- 59:05Speaker 4: Buy credit card. I was like, look I got the
- 59:06Speaker 4: platinum already getting the best by credit card?
- 59:09Speaker 6: Ude?
- 59:09Speaker 5: Do you ever do you carry Do you mind if
- 59:12Speaker 5: I asked you, like, do you carry a balance on
- 59:14Speaker 5: your on your on your credit card from month to month?
- 59:17Speaker 5: Pretty paid off every month?
- 59:18Speaker 4: Occasionally you do?
- 59:20Speaker 5: Yeah, you re see you know, you know what the
- 59:22Speaker 5: interest payment is or something like that. No, I think
- 59:27Speaker 5: it's like twenty two percent. It's insane. Really, Oh my god.
- 59:33Speaker 5: Credit card companies do not want you to actually pay
- 59:37Speaker 5: off your balance every month.
- 59:38Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah.
- 59:39Speaker 5: The way that they make money is by having you
- 59:41Speaker 5: carry credit over and then having to pay.
- 59:45Speaker 4: It's really twenty interest on that.
- 59:47Speaker 5: It's an insane number.
- 59:49Speaker 4: Twenty percent is feels like illegal.
- 59:51Speaker 5: It's it's ridiculous. It's insane. How high credit card fucking
- 59:57Speaker 5: interest rates are.
- 59:58Speaker 4: Yeah, that's steep.
- 59:59Speaker 1: Let me look at up month to month. I'm paying
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: mine off right now. I thought you're supposed to keep
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: it to raise your credit score, my dumbass.
- 1:00:07Speaker 4: Yeah that's what I've been doing.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: Credit card directly, but you through friends.
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: Yeah, twenty four average credit card interest rate is currently
- 1:00:19Speaker 5: twenty four point two percent.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: So what does that mean?
- 1:00:23Speaker 5: Okay, So let's say that you you decided to carry
- 1:00:25Speaker 5: a balance of one thousand dollars this month to the next,
- 1:00:28Speaker 5: you pay off the rest of your balance, but you're like,
- 1:00:31Speaker 5: you know what, I got some things I want to buy,
- 1:00:34Speaker 5: and so I'm just gonna push this payment down the road.
- 1:00:37Speaker 5: That means that next month you're gonna owe obviously at
- 1:00:42Speaker 5: some point that one thousand dollars plus another two hundred
- 1:00:46Speaker 5: and forty two dollars of just like tax paid of like,
- 1:00:51Speaker 5: just fuck you money. Yeah, that's crazy on top, and
- 1:00:55Speaker 5: then if you don't pay that off, that's what we're
- 1:00:58Speaker 5: paying interest on the one thousand and plus the two
- 1:01:01Speaker 5: hundred and forty two.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: Yeah, what if I hit my monthly what if I
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: hit the monthly minimum?
- 1:01:05Speaker 5: That's not That's how they get you. They're like, or
- 1:01:07Speaker 5: you can just pay your sixty five dollars monthly minimum.
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: That that's nothing. That doesn't do anything. Yea, that carries
- 1:01:13Speaker 5: your interest. You're still gonna pay the interest payment just
- 1:01:16Speaker 5: means you won't pay a penalty.
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: What the fuck they got to teach us this?
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: Yeah, dude, that is something to teach. Do whatever you can.
- 1:01:26Speaker 5: I mean, to not pay your to not to pay
- 1:01:30Speaker 5: off your monthly.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: Balance.
- 1:01:34Speaker 5: Yeah, your statement every month. Interesting, that's a big thing.
- 1:01:40Speaker 5: Credit card debt man gets scary. That hole gets bigger
- 1:01:44Speaker 5: and bigger each month.
- 1:01:46Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: The longer you I was just carrying it for fun.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: I thought it was fun to have a little bit
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: of I.
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: Thought it was good. Yeah, I thought it was good
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: to keep a little in there.
- 1:01:54Speaker 5: I don't know. I mean, look, there are other ways
- 1:01:58Speaker 5: to raise your credit score. Or they say that having
- 1:02:02Speaker 5: multiple credit cards open it and so that you can
- 1:02:05Speaker 5: spend small percentages of your allowance of of your credit limit. Yeah,
- 1:02:11Speaker 5: keeping your credit limit low across multiple credit cards is
- 1:02:14Speaker 5: allegedly quite good for your credit score.
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: Interesting.
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: Yeah, well I've just been proven to be a fucking idiot. Yep.
- 1:02:23Speaker 5: I mean, maybe I'm dead wrong. I don't know. That
- 1:02:26Speaker 5: was always what I was taught. You got to pay
- 1:02:28Speaker 5: off your balance every month.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: The way charge twenty every month.
- 1:02:32Speaker 5: Twenty four percent. Probably you you don't see that number
- 1:02:37Speaker 5: go up. You don't see the like interest payment mm hmm,
- 1:02:42Speaker 5: maybe look into that probably just gets added. I check
- 1:02:46Speaker 5: my credit card statement like every single day.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: Is that the member guest.
- 1:02:51Speaker 5: It is? Yeah? Oh you're letting somebody in. Yeah, package package,
- 1:02:56Speaker 5: that's gonna be gone.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: Big as book.
- 1:02:59Speaker 5: Yeah you got oh ship, It's the box of cockroaches
- 1:03:04Speaker 5: I dropped off. It's the cockroach food. It's the cockbox
- 1:03:08Speaker 5: they need to eat. It's the Hamburger Helper.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: Alright, Sas is dying to end this.
- 1:03:14Speaker 4: I got to pissed so bad.
- 1:03:16Speaker 5: All right, did we get to an hour? Okay?
