- 1:51Speaker 3: The headliner for twenty twenty four. First, let's get some
- 1:56Speaker 3: editgory know for first and foremost before we even start,
- 2:00Speaker 3: we got to talk about invest Fest. Of course we
- 2:03Speaker 3: have Steve Harvey. Of course we have Damon John, Steve Style,
- 2:06Speaker 3: t I, Don Peebles, Lauren London, Stephen A. Smith, Monica,
- 2:10Speaker 3: Earn Your Legion and Doune Lap nineteen Keys, Pinky Cole, Shaka, Bars,
- 2:13Speaker 3: Van Jones, Wat Left, John will I Am Will Packer, Coach,
- 2:17Speaker 3: k U Yak A Week Awakened, Billy Carson, Matthew Garland,
- 2:22Speaker 3: Derek Hayes, Alex Burton, TJ Terrence, J. Kenny Burns, Larry Marlow, Milan,
- 2:28Speaker 3: Harris Milano, The Marathon Team, Black Sam, JP, the Whole Team,
- 2:35Speaker 3: Yandy Poor Minds, Miss Business, Ashley Bell, Doctor Bernice King,
- 2:41Speaker 3: Dave Shan's. The list goes on, right, The list goes
- 2:45Speaker 3: on and on and on, and of course what we
- 2:48Speaker 3: have in workshops on home buying UH, real estate investing UH,
- 2:53Speaker 3: stock market investing, for your kids, setting up your portfolio,
- 2:56Speaker 3: brokerage accounts, how to advocate for your children in schools,
- 3:01Speaker 3: artificial intelligence, health and wellness. Of course, we'll have four
- 3:05Speaker 3: hundred and fifty business vendors there and food trucks and
- 3:09Speaker 3: musical performances and a VIP night and meet and greed
- 3:13Speaker 3: and you know have of course, of course of course,
- 3:19Speaker 3: but you know, so you're saying this more, how it's
- 3:22Speaker 3: traditionally has played out is that we've had you know,
- 3:25Speaker 3: the headliner one or two, and you know, it's been
- 3:30Speaker 3: pretty prestigious a list to people so far that we've
- 3:34Speaker 3: been able to you know, acquire. So the standard has
- 3:39Speaker 3: been set, right, So when when you're on level with standard,
- 3:44Speaker 3: you have to make sure that you keep standard. So
- 3:46Speaker 3: we didn't announce the headliner because we were still trying
- 3:49Speaker 3: to figure a few things out. So we announcing the
- 3:51Speaker 3: headliner now. And you know, to be a headline at investments,
- 3:55Speaker 3: you have to kind of check off a couple of
- 3:56Speaker 3: different boxes. You have to be culturally relevant and means
- 3:59Speaker 3: saying this is why, unfortunately Dan Cathy is not a headliner. Right,
- 4:03Speaker 3: he was at investvest but nobody knew who he was.
- 4:05Speaker 3: So he's worth seven billion dollars. But I mean we
- 4:08Speaker 3: had to tell the audience who he actually was. Right,
- 4:10Speaker 3: So you have to be colturally relevant. That's important. It's
- 4:13Speaker 3: not act like, it's not. You have to have the
- 4:15Speaker 3: business respect, right. That's also important, right, Like, you just
- 4:20Speaker 3: can't be coachurally relevant and have no business track record.
- 4:22Speaker 3: You got to have business track record. You have to
- 4:24Speaker 3: be able to do it in multiple different industries. You
- 4:27Speaker 3: have to be able to have the highest level success
- 4:30Speaker 3: across multiple decades. And you know there's only a few
- 4:36Speaker 3: people that fit that category.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Right.
- 4:38Speaker 3: So instead, Mike, let's let's cute this video.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Man.
- 4:43Speaker 3: Let's show the video.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Man. Send here it is man, that's fast. Twenty twenty
- 4:55Speaker 1: four of the lineup is a christy out. It's been
- 4:57Speaker 1: a stressful process.
- 4:58Speaker 3: Bro over, Let's get something easy.
- 5:02Speaker 4: Man.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Who whoa, whoa, whoa whoa. I hear y'all talking about
- 5:04Speaker 1: the job is done. So now we are done.
- 5:07Speaker 5: Appreciate the helping that this over. Trust me up is locked.
- 5:10Speaker 5: Trust me You're not done.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Every year investments has to get bigger.
- 5:14Speaker 5: This year, we got more power. This year, we get
- 5:16Speaker 5: more money this year. It's fifty times bigg fifty fifty fifty.
- 5:39Speaker 3: It all right. So we have the video. The trailer
- 5:46Speaker 3: is done. Get rich or good?
- 5:49Speaker 4: Instead, I walk around like I gotta assle on my chest.
- 5:54Speaker 3: What y'all going through now? Man? What y'all going through now?
- 5:57Speaker 2: Man?
- 5:58Speaker 3: Shout out to Terrence Jay, Shout out to the star,
- 6:02Speaker 3: Shout out to the whole team that put this together. Man,
- 6:05Speaker 3: shout out to fifty. We spent, we spent. We went
- 6:10Speaker 3: to Miami. We spent three hours with Fifth at dinner.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Then we went to the club with him, and especially
- 6:17Speaker 3: at dinner, we really got to have an in depth
- 6:20Speaker 3: conversation with him. And I'll tell you this much, it's
- 6:24Speaker 3: gonna be one of the ones. Man, It's going to
- 6:26Speaker 3: be one of the ones talk that shit. It's ones.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Trust me on this one.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Five hours later.
- 6:34Speaker 3: It's gonna be one of them ones. Believe me. As
- 6:39Speaker 3: far as he's ready to talk, he has a lot
- 6:43Speaker 3: to talk about, and this is rare. He very rarely
- 6:47Speaker 3: makes public appearances as far like, he doesn't do rolling
- 6:50Speaker 3: loud like he'll do his own tour, but he doesn't
- 6:53Speaker 3: do like a lot of outside stuff. And he very
- 6:57Speaker 3: rarely speaks publicly. You know, give too many interviews, but
- 7:01Speaker 3: very rarely will you see fifty cent through a public
- 7:05Speaker 3: address to over ten thousand people. I don't think he's
- 7:09Speaker 3: ever done that BeForever.
- 7:13Speaker 4: Man any I want to host grossing hip hop tours
- 7:16Speaker 4: last year.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Right, he definitely is.
- 7:17Speaker 3: I mean, you look at fifty somebody that's reinvented himself,
- 7:20Speaker 3: like I said, since in two thousand and two, two
- 7:23Speaker 3: thousand and three, all the way now it's twenty years
- 7:25Speaker 3: in the game. As far as his music career, transition
- 7:29Speaker 3: into Hollywood, becoming the biggest in the game when it
- 7:32Speaker 3: comes to you know, the shows of course, Power BMF,
- 7:36Speaker 3: Power Book, all of these different things that he has
- 7:38Speaker 3: going on, the race, taking over Louisiana, Shreveport, Louisiana, Houston too, Yeah,
- 7:46Speaker 3: buying up the real estate and doing He's becoming the
- 7:49Speaker 3: new Tyler Perry, you know, g and the studios. He's
- 7:53Speaker 3: he's books figuring it out for every single level. When
- 7:57Speaker 3: it comes to business. The ultimate hustler survived the drought,
- 8:00Speaker 3: you know, got shot nine times. You know the story
- 8:04Speaker 3: like legendary wars too. When you're talking about surviving adversity
- 8:08Speaker 3: against some of the most dangerous opponents. He's done that
- 8:14Speaker 3: and he's come out on the other side every single time.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Business acumen on a thousand, cultural relevance on a thousand,
- 8:23Speaker 3: never backed down for everybody on a.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Thousand, one hundred percent fairless.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Man really like that, Like he really liked that.
- 8:31Speaker 1: He remember his sharp, Man, he's sharp.
- 8:34Speaker 6: So, I mean some of the conversations that we had
- 8:37Speaker 6: Privy to be a part of was just like he
- 8:40Speaker 6: I never heard him talk like that. So he's ready, man,
- 8:43Speaker 6: especially what he has he has brewing and some of
- 8:45Speaker 6: the things that are coming up. We are we we're
- 8:48Speaker 6: gonna crack the case open.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Man. It's gonna be dope.
- 8:50Speaker 6: I hope everybody gets to hear it and really digest this, because,
- 8:53Speaker 6: like I said, this is rare. I went back to
- 8:55Speaker 6: YouTube to try to find an interview, and it was
- 8:58Speaker 6: like he was sitting down in like a museum like
- 9:00Speaker 6: fifteen minutes.
- 9:00Speaker 1: I'm like, this is the only thing I found them.
- 9:02Speaker 1: So yeah, we.
- 9:03Speaker 6: Are super super privileged to have them again. Shout out
- 9:06Speaker 6: to start, Shout out to tej Shot, everybody that made
- 9:08Speaker 6: this happen. It was one of those things. Man, you
- 9:11Speaker 6: see us everywhere. It's for a reason. We're working. We're
- 9:13Speaker 6: always working.
- 9:14Speaker 3: I mean, you know, it's one of these things where
- 9:16Speaker 3: it's how many times, right, how many times?
- 9:22Speaker 1: Come on? Keep going?
- 9:23Speaker 3: I'll support you. You know, after a while, It's not luck.
- 9:26Speaker 3: It's not luck. And I will say this because this
- 9:29Speaker 3: is a learning lesson. It's not luck.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Right.
- 9:32Speaker 3: How we're able to do this year in and year out,
- 9:35Speaker 3: nobody else can. They haven't figured it out. Forbes hasn't
- 9:38Speaker 3: figured it out. Time Magazine hasn't figured it out. Nobody
- 9:43Speaker 3: has figured this out, right, And how we've been able
- 9:45Speaker 3: to figure it Out'm gonna let you and I'm gona
- 9:47Speaker 3: give you some game. Yeah. Yes, it's all about relationships, right,
- 9:53Speaker 3: And I say this all the time, and this is
- 9:56Speaker 3: this is just the fact of you know, cultivate relationship
- 10:00Speaker 3: with Terrence Ja for four years. This is four years
- 10:02Speaker 3: we didn't build a relationship with him to one day
- 10:05Speaker 3: get fifty cent. Who knew that? I didn't even know
- 10:07Speaker 3: he knew fifty cent? Right, But it's like, you know,
- 10:10Speaker 3: we we have a relationship. You know, we go on
- 10:12Speaker 3: vacation together.
- 10:13Speaker 1: You know, we.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Our actual friend brotherhood like friendship, right. And then when
- 10:20Speaker 3: the time comes for and ask, it happens right, and
- 10:26Speaker 3: he links it. And then Star who's fifties day to
- 10:30Speaker 3: day and he's he's a big fan of what we
- 10:33Speaker 3: got going on. And once again that's a relationship. Him
- 10:36Speaker 3: and Terrence have a relationship. He knows us from you know,
- 10:39Speaker 3: the content that we've been producing and he's been watching
- 10:41Speaker 3: it for years and it's just a relationship thing. We
- 10:45Speaker 3: go down to Miami, we have dinner with with the
- 10:47Speaker 3: whole team for shout out to Barry. We have dinner
- 10:50Speaker 3: with them and we talk and you know, fifty to
- 10:53Speaker 3: talk to us and we get the deal done. So
- 10:56Speaker 3: it's like, Okay, we go to Davos. That's the relationship
- 11:01Speaker 3: that you build relationships. We go to cons that's the
- 11:03Speaker 3: advertising week and we're there for the whole week and
- 11:06Speaker 3: you know, running the Steve Style and all these people.
- 11:08Speaker 3: It's just we're building relationships in this situation. You know,
- 11:11Speaker 3: we building relationships with Robert Smith, you name it, Tyler Perry,
- 11:16Speaker 3: Steve Hardin. So it's like, there's a reason why people
- 11:21Speaker 3: go to cons there's a reason why people go to Davos, right,
- 11:26Speaker 3: And there's a reason why you should go to invest
- 11:27Speaker 3: Best outside of seeing some of the biggest people in
- 11:32Speaker 3: the cultural history, you need to be in an environment
- 11:37Speaker 3: that cultivates relationships, like people being They're like, well, anything
- 11:41Speaker 3: that you can learn that an event you can learn
- 11:42Speaker 3: on YouTube. No, you can't, first of all, and second
- 11:46Speaker 3: of all, you can't cultivate relationships online like this is
- 11:51Speaker 3: you're fighting against the information. You're watching us do it
- 11:54Speaker 3: in real time, and you're trying to tell me that
- 11:56Speaker 3: I don't know what I'm talking about, right, Like you
- 11:58Speaker 3: you're always you're trying to be anti It's like, Okay,
- 12:02Speaker 3: Troy tells you an option, you tell them like you
- 12:04Speaker 3: argue with him. Ian tells you what priced to buy,
- 12:07Speaker 3: You argue with them. I'm telling you about how to
- 12:09Speaker 3: actually cultivate relationships, and you're arguing with me and then
- 12:13Speaker 3: you're wondering why you're not moving in the people that
- 12:16Speaker 3: you're listening to they have no track record of success.
- 12:20Speaker 3: So it's like you have to listen. You have to
- 12:23Speaker 3: be humble enough to take the information and to be like, Okay, well,
- 12:28Speaker 3: if this is actually working for these guys. We didn't
- 12:31Speaker 3: start with much, so it's like, Okay, we didn't have
- 12:33Speaker 3: any friendships in the music industry, we didn't have a budget.
- 12:38Speaker 3: Everybody knows the story. We started with an iPhone, and
- 12:43Speaker 3: over the course of four years we've been able to
- 12:46Speaker 3: bring you all these billionaires, and so how is this happening? Okay,
- 12:50Speaker 3: this is how it's happening.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Right.
- 12:52Speaker 3: We're cultivating relationships with people that are close to the
- 12:54Speaker 3: people that are people. We're in every different environment. We
- 12:57Speaker 3: go to all these different events. We're on the plane
- 13:00Speaker 3: at least once a week, we're going to lunch with
- 13:03Speaker 3: people like Okay, so in.
- 13:05Speaker 4: The zoom calls, follow up email, just just to check
- 13:10Speaker 4: in and nothing comes.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Yeah, So for you, right, you're on your journey to success,
- 13:16Speaker 3: and success is another ending step, right, So it's like
- 13:20Speaker 3: you're on your journey. You can't afford not to be
- 13:25Speaker 3: at the biggest business event in the world. Now that's
- 13:31Speaker 3: just a fact, right, Like, why would you not go?
- 13:36Speaker 3: That's my question unless you physically just are not able
- 13:38Speaker 3: to attend. If you're able to attend and financially, it's
- 13:42Speaker 3: not going to crush you. Why would you not put
- 13:46Speaker 3: yourself in a physical environment where people are moving and
- 13:50Speaker 3: shaking and trying to connect and meet people and learn information.
- 13:55Speaker 3: Good things will happen to you when you put yourself
- 13:57Speaker 3: in positions to win.
- 14:00Speaker 4: And I was a prime component of it at first.
- 14:03Speaker 4: I remember Troy Clark one, They're like, bro, you'll never
- 14:05Speaker 4: pop outside.
- 14:05Speaker 1: I was like, i gotta go to Slush come up.
- 14:09Speaker 4: I'm like, nain't I wanna get COVID. He's like, bro,
- 14:13Speaker 4: I can't miss it. I told my dad a He's like,
- 14:14Speaker 4: you gotta shake hands and kiss.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Baby' gonna if you don't.
- 14:17Speaker 6: And I remember, I remember that moment you came down
- 14:20Speaker 6: to steps and it was like I knew it was
- 14:22Speaker 6: an awkward situation for you because it was like, wait,
- 14:24Speaker 6: I haven't done this yet, but ye look at it now,
- 14:27Speaker 6: like people you just had. You can't you just had
- 14:31Speaker 6: Ram Petnan weekend in Houston, right because it means something
- 14:33Speaker 6: to be in front of the people. It means something
- 14:35Speaker 6: when they yeah, they can listen to you and they
- 14:37Speaker 6: can see you on YouTube, when they can really access
- 14:40Speaker 6: you in real life. It's a different thing that happens
- 14:43Speaker 6: every single day and investments. Throughout the weekend. It might
- 14:46Speaker 6: be at a restaurant, you might run into somebody. Definitely
- 14:49Speaker 6: in the vented marketplace, you're gonna runo somebody. You might
- 14:51Speaker 6: be in alloted by of your hotel and elevated just
- 14:53Speaker 6: by happenstance you run into somebody. These things happen. I mean,
- 14:56Speaker 6: we've said it multiple times throughout our journey. We were
- 14:59Speaker 6: just walking out of an event. Oh, Robert Smith is
- 15:02Speaker 6: walking into us right Like, you have to put yourself
- 15:04Speaker 6: in the position where you're going to be able to succeed.
- 15:07Speaker 6: The same thing investment. Put yourself in position and that
- 15:09Speaker 6: when time's come, you're ready.
- 15:11Speaker 1: You're ready prepared.
- 15:12Speaker 4: A lot of times people, you'll be able to meet
- 15:15Speaker 4: your business partners, strategic partners, joint venture partners. There even
- 15:19Speaker 4: how we met, Like I got introduced to you guys,
- 15:21Speaker 4: to a mutual friend from somebody I was doing business with.
- 15:24Speaker 4: But if he never met me in person, he wouldn't
- 15:27Speaker 4: have referred me, Like, you have to show up. People
- 15:29Speaker 4: need to feel your integrity and that's a certain gena
- 15:32Speaker 4: se qua that you can't fake online. You can't click
- 15:35Speaker 4: funnels your way to how a person feels about you
- 15:38Speaker 4: in person. You have to show up, get your tickets.
- 15:41Speaker 3: You can meet your wife there, you can meet your
- 15:43Speaker 3: husband there, you can meet The thing about it is that,
- 15:45Speaker 3: like like I said, when it's crazy, like I think
- 15:52Speaker 3: Vlad has said before, like what millionaire has gone to
- 15:55Speaker 3: an event to make millions And it's so crazy because
- 15:59Speaker 3: we literally just we just came from an event with
- 16:01Speaker 3: all millionaires. This is We just came from an event
- 16:04Speaker 3: with Steve Stout, with Carmelo Anthony, with Elon Musk Saw,
- 16:13Speaker 3: Elon musk Man, Kelsey, the Kelsey Brothers, Shannon Sharp.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Every CMO of every company in the world. Pretty much.
- 16:27Speaker 3: It's like, it's frustrating because these people are not either
- 16:32Speaker 3: they're just misleading people with information or they don't have
- 16:35Speaker 3: the correct word. To go to Davos, there's fifteen thousand people, right,
- 16:41Speaker 3: four hundred millionaires at an event domed Idiot's Conference. It's
- 16:46Speaker 3: an event one hundred billionaires came to an event. Why
- 16:50Speaker 3: did they come to the event. They came to an
- 16:52Speaker 3: event to learn about different things, because they're in an
- 16:55Speaker 3: environment with so much information being spreaded it's impossible not
- 16:59Speaker 3: to learn at least one thing. But more importantly, they
- 17:02Speaker 3: came to actually physically meet people. Like I was talking
- 17:05Speaker 3: one of my friends works at uber, and he was like,
- 17:07Speaker 3: they just lined up meetings because they knew that they
- 17:09Speaker 3: were people was going to be in cons. So it's
- 17:10Speaker 3: like in cons, I'm gonna meet you, I'm gonna meet
- 17:12Speaker 3: you at twelve o'clock, two o'clock, one o'clock, three o'clock,
- 17:14Speaker 3: because it's like they could have had a phone call,
- 17:16Speaker 3: but they wanted to do business face to face. They
- 17:18Speaker 3: wanted to meet people in person. The in person experience
- 17:21Speaker 3: is never going to die, Like that's never going to
- 17:23Speaker 3: be duplicated by a zoom call. And you can't have
- 17:25Speaker 3: a zoom call with somebody that you don't know. So
- 17:28Speaker 3: I say that to say, there are five twenty by
- 17:31Speaker 3: twenty booths left, five of them. If you're interested, there's
- 17:37Speaker 3: five left. There's one ten x ten booth, so there's
- 17:41Speaker 3: six boothslet, which is crazy. If you're interested in getting
- 17:44Speaker 3: a booth. Get your booth. It's six booths lefts Okay,
- 17:47Speaker 3: I'm not selling it. It's six booth Left's gonna sell
