- 2:24Speaker 5: But this is an uptown edition. Really, this is legendary edition. Man,
- 2:27Speaker 5: if you follow us, you know that you know hip
- 2:30Speaker 5: hop really raised us. We talk about all the time.
- 2:32Speaker 5: We always reference all of these rappers and everything. It's
- 2:34Speaker 5: part of our DNA. And of course, of course, of
- 2:37Speaker 5: course one of the biggest, the biggest, biggest, biggest ever
- 2:41Speaker 5: to do it, the legendary Fat Joe. So we didn't know,
- 2:44Speaker 5: we in Miami and we didn't know that this was
- 2:46Speaker 5: actually gonna come about.
- 2:48Speaker 3: This happened just on a fly shout the.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Trible shouts, the trible shouting Nicole.
- 2:51Speaker 3: Yeah, from making this happen.
- 2:52Speaker 5: So, I mean, it really needs no introduction, but I'll
- 2:55Speaker 5: give a quick rundown. Thirty years in the game started
- 2:58Speaker 5: with digging in the crazy I believe in nineteen ninety.
- 3:00Speaker 5: My first album, Respect came out in nineteen ninety three.
- 3:03Speaker 4: Can we just can we just like pay how much
- 3:05Speaker 4: that I had a Diamond D record. I had the
- 3:07Speaker 4: c D Diamond d CD with Lord Finesse.
- 3:10Speaker 2: I was in Diamond's album. I'm in every single ad
- 3:15Speaker 2: lib on his album. I'm I'm the guy in the
- 3:18Speaker 2: background going Yo, that's that ship. And when he talked
- 3:21Speaker 2: to the girl and I'm like Yo, what's up, She's like, Yo, chill.
- 3:24Speaker 2: You know, every ad lib on Diamond's album is fat Joe.
- 3:28Speaker 4: Yo, this guy I told him when he was coming up.
- 3:30Speaker 4: I'm like, Yo, were both in the Bronx, born in
- 3:33Speaker 4: the Bronx, raised Westchester. But I was like yo for
- 3:35Speaker 4: a while. I used to be like, your care rest
- 3:37Speaker 4: is the illis in the Bronx. Just there's no dying
- 3:40Speaker 4: in the favorite. That was my favorite rapping. I'm like, yo,
- 3:42Speaker 4: nobody's better here. I don't care what you're talking about, Rocky,
- 3:44Speaker 4: and your care rest is the Ellis. And then this
- 3:46Speaker 4: guy comes you gotta flow, Joe, and now he became
- 3:48Speaker 4: the king of the Bronx, and I'm like, damn, He's like,
- 3:51Speaker 4: you got me carerest one day.
- 3:54Speaker 2: That's my mentor, that's my you know what I'm saying.
- 3:57Speaker 2: I rapped because the care rest one. You know what
- 3:59Speaker 2: I'm saying. First time I ever heard him, I remember
- 4:02Speaker 2: one time, well, the first time I ever heard consciousness
- 4:05Speaker 2: was out of care us to hop the train Prospect
- 4:08Speaker 2: Avenue in the back car, and I listened in my walkman,
- 4:12Speaker 2: and he was like airplanes flying overseas, people dying, politicians lying.
- 4:17Speaker 2: I'm trying not to escape, but hit the problem head on,
- 4:21Speaker 2: and I was just he just opened up some shit
- 4:24Speaker 2: in my mind where I never know consciousness before that.
- 4:27Speaker 2: And uh, you know he was He's the guy that
- 4:30Speaker 2: made me want to wrap. Him Andelo Cool Jaded both
- 4:33Speaker 2: equal idels for different different reasons. But if it wasn't
- 4:37Speaker 2: for them too, I would have never rapped.
- 4:39Speaker 5: So there you have it, ladies and gentlemen, fat show.
- 4:42Speaker 5: I can go on and on, but we're gonna talk
- 4:43Speaker 5: about it during the interview. So first and foremost, thank
- 4:46Speaker 5: you for joinings. Appreciate it, brother, thank you, Yeah for sure.
- 4:49Speaker 5: So let's get into it.
- 4:51Speaker 6: Man.
- 4:51Speaker 5: You know, this is a business show, as we were
- 4:53Speaker 5: saying before, So the conversation's gonna a little different, probably
- 4:56Speaker 5: than most of the conversations that you have, because it's
- 4:58Speaker 5: going to go deeper and wrap. So when I look
- 5:00Speaker 5: at you, I don't just look at you as you know,
- 5:03Speaker 5: a rap mogul. I look at you as a variety
- 5:05Speaker 5: of different things, but one of the greatest A and
- 5:07Speaker 5: r's that's ever lived in, one of the greatest airs
- 5:09Speaker 5: for talent.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Not given enough credit for that too, No.
- 5:12Speaker 3: It's a fact.
- 5:12Speaker 5: I mean when you look at Big pun rest in peace,
- 5:14Speaker 5: when you look at remy Ma cooland Dre DJ callen
- 5:17Speaker 5: to name a few.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Tony Sunshine, uh Bryson Tiller was early with bon Uh.
- 5:28Speaker 2: I took pitt Bull's demo and got him his first
- 5:31Speaker 2: record deal.
- 5:32Speaker 4: That was crazy because he's supposed to say murder in
- 5:34Speaker 4: first Yeah, I remember, was trying to get.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Him to go over there. No, he was trying to
- 5:39Speaker 2: sign Rick Rick Ross. Also, I could have signed Rick
- 5:42Speaker 2: Ross too, but a lot of mistakes. I mean, but
- 5:46Speaker 2: pit Bull I got a his deal. How'd that come
- 5:49Speaker 2: Aroundrick Daddy? I was out here in Miami and Super
- 5:52Speaker 2: Bowl weekend, caught his fucking CD at the Flea Mark.
- 5:56Speaker 2: I was playing it the whole time I was out here.
- 5:58Speaker 2: I went to Atlantic, I gave it the Creig Common
- 6:00Speaker 2: he signed Craik. He signed Trick Daddy like two days later.
- 6:04Speaker 5: So we'll talk about all of those stories. But all right, yeah,
- 6:09Speaker 5: talking about are you talking.
- 6:10Speaker 2: About my eye for talent? I'm just trying to let
- 6:12Speaker 2: the people know.
- 6:14Speaker 3: So how did that develop? How did that develop?
- 6:16Speaker 5: Because most rappers they're not really on it like that,
- 6:19Speaker 5: they focused on their career. They might find one or
- 6:20Speaker 5: two people from the neighborhood. Maybe that's obvious and it's
- 6:23Speaker 5: in the neighborhood, like even you.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Know, I'm I'm I'm indebted and I'm in love with
- 6:28Speaker 2: the culture, you know, coming up from the Bronx like
- 6:30Speaker 2: you two, Uh, we're very unique and where this is
- 6:34Speaker 2: where hip hop was born. And then there's different sections
- 6:37Speaker 2: of the Bronx. But fortunately for me, I was born
- 6:40Speaker 2: in this section that created the hip hop. So I
- 6:43Speaker 2: will watch Melly Mellon, Graham ass the Flash play pickup
- 6:46Speaker 2: games of basketball. I will watch Ruby de the first
- 6:49Speaker 2: Latino and he play softball with with his brothers. So
- 6:52Speaker 2: I was around little Rodney C. I was around Shah Rock,
- 6:55Speaker 2: I was around all of the whole hip hop ship
- 6:59Speaker 2: started in my litle A Skarsky love Buck Starsky was
- 7:02Speaker 2: from all of them, was from my hood. And and
- 7:06Speaker 2: so I'm indebted to the culture. So if I hear
- 7:11Speaker 2: the artist that's incredible and she says Fat Joe, I
- 7:15Speaker 2: would never sign to you. I don't want to sign
- 7:17Speaker 2: to you. I would give her names of people that
- 7:19Speaker 2: could sign her because I feel like I owe it
- 7:23Speaker 2: to the people in hip hop to hear greatness.
- 7:26Speaker 3: So all right, how did it first come about?
- 7:28Speaker 5: As far as Terror Squad becoming a record label and
- 7:31Speaker 5: signing was big one the first person to sign the
- 7:33Speaker 5: Terror Squad.
- 7:35Speaker 2: I think I'm again armaged, Oh oh my god, again
- 7:40Speaker 2: was and so I'm again just like uh Me and
- 7:45Speaker 2: Diamond de uh Where I tell you, I did ever
- 7:48Speaker 2: yad live, arm again did everyad live on the represent album.
- 7:52Speaker 2: So I was at Jazzy j Studio in the Bronx.
- 7:55Speaker 2: That was a legendary studio grand Pool I used to
- 7:58Speaker 2: do his albums. Diamonded his albums everybody. So I did
- 8:02Speaker 2: my album there and again lived around the corner. So
- 8:05Speaker 2: he was like the little kid that wanted to wrap
- 8:07Speaker 2: to be in the studio. He was there all the
- 8:09Speaker 2: way with me, and then he got on the first
- 8:12Speaker 2: album and he was my brother ever since. And then
- 8:15Speaker 2: then Pum was you know, Pum was actually the logo.
- 8:18Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. He was the person to
- 8:21Speaker 2: take Terror Squad as a record label to the next level.
- 8:25Speaker 3: And then remy Ma comes after that. Obviously that was.
- 8:32Speaker 2: What was it like for you from the Bronx. You
- 8:35Speaker 2: got this fat Puerto Rican guy. First of all, you
- 8:37Speaker 2: got Fat Joe. You're hearing Fat Joe's the realist of it.
- 8:41Speaker 2: In a game, y'all know the story side. The fatter
- 8:47Speaker 2: Puerto Rican some crazy and then they signed the Hottest Chick,
- 8:51Speaker 2: this spit and some ship. What's that like for you guys.
- 8:54Speaker 3: In there now.
- 8:54Speaker 5: I was just I was watching the whole thing, just
- 8:56Speaker 5: loving it because I remember when they did the creep
- 8:59Speaker 5: with me because the scene as all the kids on
- 9:01Speaker 5: the streets cartage and.
- 9:02Speaker 4: I'm gonna tell you another one, bro, when we went
- 9:04Speaker 4: to the Puerto Rican Day parade. I have y'all on tape, bro,
- 9:07Speaker 4: like I'm watching y'all on the float, y'all got y'allie
- 9:10Speaker 4: and he's on the flow with y'all, and then y'all
- 9:12Speaker 4: went even further, y'all walked through Central Park.
- 9:15Speaker 2: I was like, yo, yo, that's fat Joe. You know that.
- 9:18Speaker 4: You know they were kissed, they were stat like we
- 9:20Speaker 4: like recorded it as it's happened. I'm like, yo, this
- 9:22Speaker 4: is crazy. It was a moment, man, it was a moment.
- 9:25Speaker 2: Never I never got like he's Latino or he's Puerto
- 9:29Speaker 2: Rican Joe. Like when I grew up, it was Joey
- 9:33Speaker 2: and Joey crack and and it's the same shit, Like
- 9:36Speaker 2: I don't know, you know, black people ain't looking at
- 9:38Speaker 2: me like he's Spanish. And he's It was always like,
- 9:41Speaker 2: that's Joey, you know what I'm saying. And it wasn't
- 9:44Speaker 2: until I got Junior High that I had to go
- 9:47Speaker 2: to school and I write about it in my book.
- 9:49Speaker 2: I got a book. I'm right now. And when I
- 9:53Speaker 2: went to Junior High, they ain't understand it. So I
- 9:56Speaker 2: want you to even blacker neighborhood. So if my neighborhood
- 9:58Speaker 2: was ninety nine percent, I want you a ninety zero
- 10:02Speaker 2: point nine black hood where the Spanish niggas ain't have
- 10:07Speaker 2: no juice. And I'm walking up in there v bamba.
- 10:11Speaker 2: It was shut y'all. Fuck is good. They're like, oh, no,
- 10:14Speaker 2: wet jacking that we ain't nah ah, where the fuck
- 10:18Speaker 2: this alien come from? So it's different because I grew
- 10:22Speaker 2: up a baby. I'm born in my projects. You know.
- 10:25Speaker 2: I was born in Bronx Lepping, across the street from
- 10:28Speaker 2: where Larry Davis shot the cops. That's where I was born.
- 10:32Speaker 2: And they brought me to the projects and now always
- 10:36Speaker 2: been Joey fat Joey from Forrest and and that's it.
- 10:40Speaker 2: So there they know me since a baby, and they knew, y'all,
- 10:43Speaker 2: he's gonna be a bad little motherfucker. You can watch
- 10:46Speaker 2: a little kid in kindergarten, you're gonna be a bad
- 10:48Speaker 2: The guy doing the real flying kicks in the back,
- 10:51Speaker 2: he's a piece of shit. They looking at me like, oh,
- 10:56Speaker 2: he's a piece of ship. He's the most like not
- 11:00Speaker 2: to succeed, most like And so you know, they was cool,
- 11:06Speaker 2: like my hood was like, you know, that's joey. But
- 11:09Speaker 2: then when I got suspended from so many schools in
- 11:12Speaker 2: that neighborhood, they said me my grandmother's neighborhood, and that
- 11:16Speaker 2: was like, you know, I got bullied every day. I
- 11:18Speaker 2: got beat up every day by twenty different guys every
- 11:21Speaker 2: single day, and I fought them all every day every day.
- 11:24Speaker 2: So people could tell you about getting bullied. I got
- 11:26Speaker 2: bullied when out went to school every day, got beat
- 11:30Speaker 2: up every day and fought them every day. Nobody can.
- 11:34Speaker 2: You can research this all you want, they will tell
- 11:37Speaker 2: you no different. Yo, he fought twenty dudes every day. Thanksgiving,
- 11:41Speaker 2: black eye, big lip, Christmas, black eye, big lip. Like
- 11:44Speaker 2: it was like because truthfully they didn't understand, like, how
- 11:48Speaker 2: could the Spanish dude be in this neighborhood and trying
- 11:51Speaker 2: to move the way we moved and you know, and
- 11:55Speaker 2: you know, I guess they had to get used to it,
- 11:58Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. And now I go over there,
- 12:00Speaker 2: I'm like a king, you know what I'm saying. They
- 12:02Speaker 2: love me, they see me, They proud of me. They yo,
- 12:06Speaker 2: Joe's up, bro yo, you know, and uh, that's just
- 12:09Speaker 2: the way it is.
- 12:10Speaker 3: So that was Pun. That his like that Spanish.
- 12:13Speaker 2: So yeah, that was fun. That was fun with one
- 12:18Speaker 2: hundred percent. Now it was me on an executive level
- 12:22Speaker 2: where Loud Records told me, yo, you get a budget right. Finance,
- 12:26Speaker 2: what's the name of your shit. Let's let's get this
- 12:29Speaker 2: going right. So you get a budget right. And when
- 12:34Speaker 2: you're growing up, we ain't have ship from the projects.
- 12:37Speaker 2: We ain't got nothing. So when you become a rapper,
- 12:40Speaker 2: some white dudes are giving you a million and a
- 12:42Speaker 2: half dollars, You're like, fuck that, we tricking this shit off.
- 12:45Speaker 2: We ain't got no sense of a budget. But there
- 12:47Speaker 2: really is a budget, right. So when they gave us
- 12:50Speaker 2: the budget, Pun had passed, but he had made that
- 12:53Speaker 2: that record one hundred percent. What you're talking to. Steve Rifkin,
- 12:57Speaker 2: the radio team, the video team, everybody told me this
- 13:02Speaker 2: record was like Yo, there is no Puerto Ricans in Memphis, Tennessee.
- 13:07Speaker 2: There's no Puerto Ricans in Atlanta, Georgia. Is like people
- 13:11Speaker 2: do not other than New York got Puerto Ricans, you ain't,
- 13:15Speaker 2: you know? So they I knew it wasn't gonna blow.
- 13:18Speaker 2: I knew it wasn't going to be like a still
- 13:20Speaker 2: not a player. I knew it wasn't. But I still
- 13:22Speaker 2: spent the half a million dollars on the video. I
- 13:25Speaker 2: still spent the money on the video and the radio.
- 13:28Speaker 2: And that was just simply because I knew we would
- 13:31Speaker 2: be talking about this twenty years later. It was groundbreaking,
- 13:35Speaker 2: and I knew pun was the biggest hero for latinos
- 13:38Speaker 2: and hip hop and we had to send them off
- 13:40Speaker 2: that way. So I spent that money knowing I wasn't
- 13:43Speaker 2: getting that money back. But I did it for, like,
- 13:46Speaker 2: you know, a legacy and culture and shit like that.
- 13:51Speaker 4: I still don't. I'll be trying to say the course
- 13:53Speaker 4: every time, but I know, remember that the executive side,
- 14:04Speaker 4: because you're an artist first, right, Who are you looking
- 14:08Speaker 4: to for guidance at this point?
- 14:09Speaker 2: Is it like Russell Simmons at the time? Is it
- 14:11Speaker 2: puff Who's giving nobody gave me nothing nobody and that
- 14:16Speaker 2: was cool with puff. I actually knew puff Daddy when
- 14:19Speaker 2: he had a sea through chain. So puff Daddy is
- 14:22Speaker 2: probably my motivation because I've never looked at nobody through
- 14:26Speaker 2: a jealous lands. I've always looked at people with inspiration.
- 14:30Speaker 2: So if it came to marow I do a podcast.
- 14:32Speaker 2: I don't know if we call this podcast whatever we
- 14:34Speaker 2: want to call it, right, So I do the big
- 14:36Speaker 2: big show. If you make a one hundred million dollars,
- 14:39Speaker 2: you may have never met Fat Joe and I am
- 14:41Speaker 2: cracking aces for you and you don't even have a clue, right,
- 14:49Speaker 2: But I'm like, if they got a hundred million, I
- 14:50Speaker 2: could get on. And that's how I've always looked at everything.
- 14:55Speaker 2: So pop Daddy used to run up on me. You know,
- 14:59Speaker 2: I sold drugs be for a rat and so with me,
- 15:04Speaker 2: Puff Daddy used to chase me and my beams and
- 15:06Speaker 2: benzes and I got ice on and I'm looking like
- 15:10Speaker 2: this and he's like, yo, old crack, what's up next? Thing?
- 15:13Speaker 2: I know he's a billionaire, you get what I'm saying. Smart.
- 15:17Speaker 2: He knew the branding business before everybody else. He knew
- 15:21Speaker 2: how to make certain moves. Uh, puff Daddy took everything
- 15:25Speaker 2: that we thought was fun and it was always business.
- 15:29Speaker 2: So puff Daddy had throw a party and we like
- 15:31Speaker 2: getting drunk and thinking we having fun. Meanwhile, he got
- 15:33Speaker 2: the president of Viacom on there, he got the owner
- 15:37Speaker 2: of the Yankees in there, he got and he working
- 15:40Speaker 2: the motherfuckers to get that bread. And we can't see
- 15:44Speaker 2: while we're adding to the you know, I got Fat
- 15:47Speaker 2: Joe Latinos, I got this one, I got that one,
- 15:50Speaker 2: that one, and he just finessing it. You know. So
- 15:52Speaker 2: he was ahead of time with his branding. But me personally,
- 15:56Speaker 2: nobody ever get me. Help me. The only person, the
- 15:58Speaker 2: only executive I could you that allowed me to do
- 16:02Speaker 2: what I wanted to do, Steve Rifkin, that Loud Records.
- 16:05Speaker 2: He helped me sign Big Pond. He gave me the money,
- 16:08Speaker 2: He funded my ideas, my creativity, you know, he funded it.
- 16:14Speaker 2: He put up the money for it. And for that
- 16:17Speaker 2: I'm forever in debt too.
- 16:19Speaker 5: So how because we always hear about you know, these records,
- 16:21Speaker 5: especially back then with rough riders and you know, cash
- 16:24Speaker 5: money and all of that, Like how did it work
- 16:26Speaker 5: at that time? And what's between that time and that like,
- 16:28Speaker 5: did you you had a record label? What does that
- 16:30Speaker 5: really mean? Is it really a record label? Is it
- 16:32Speaker 5: like a subsidiary of Sony?
- 16:34Speaker 2: It's a subsidiary of Sony, and it's and it's all
- 16:38Speaker 2: you know, uh, if you want to talk about you know,
- 16:42Speaker 2: I never talked like this because I don't like to
- 16:44Speaker 2: burn bridges. But you know, the whole major label ship
- 16:49Speaker 2: is like a Ponzi scheme. It's more like the math
- 16:56Speaker 2: is funny. I'm saying, if you went out right now
- 16:59Speaker 2: and not I told you yo, I'm gonna give you
- 17:02Speaker 2: ten glasses, ten pairs of shades standing in the corner,
- 17:06Speaker 2: and sell the ten pairs of shades each one for
- 17:09Speaker 2: ten dollars a shade, and I tell you make eight
- 17:12Speaker 2: cents out of that. Are you gonna really stand out
- 17:14Speaker 2: there for eight hours, twelve hours selling the shit to
- 17:17Speaker 2: make eight cents? So now you use your creativity, use
- 17:20Speaker 2: your passion, You make the music, you promote the music,
- 17:23Speaker 2: you do this and that, and you get eight cents
- 17:26Speaker 2: while the record label is getting nine dollars and ninety
- 17:28Speaker 2: two cents. That we see you don't even know the
- 17:31Speaker 2: shit they pressing somewhere else or whatever. The case may be.
- 17:35Speaker 2: So the shit is like a Ponzi scheme, so it's
- 17:38Speaker 2: fun while it lasted. I mean, the record labels are
- 17:41Speaker 2: like neighborless and so they take you and they baby
- 17:45Speaker 2: you and then they throw you in the street. But
- 17:47Speaker 2: they think you're not worth no more. They throw you
- 17:49Speaker 2: in the street.
- 17:49Speaker 5: Swiss Be said something that I never forget. He said,
- 17:51Speaker 5: you know, he went to Harvard for like that six
- 17:53Speaker 5: week program at school, and he said one of the
- 17:55Speaker 5: things that they taught him in Harvard was like that
- 17:58Speaker 5: give somebody up, don't treat them like they work for you.
- 18:02Speaker 5: Make them feel like they're your partner, and they work harder.
- 18:05Speaker 5: So he was like he related that to the music business,
- 18:07Speaker 5: where it's like he seemed like a lot of guys
- 18:09Speaker 5: get record labels, but really they're not really running the
- 18:12Speaker 5: record label. But in their mind, the perception is better
- 18:15Speaker 5: than reality, so they can feel like you, I got
- 18:17Speaker 5: this label, I'm signing these artists.
- 18:18Speaker 3: But it all comes back to the top, dude, it's all.
- 18:20Speaker 2: A predatory business. They take young black people, young Spanish
- 18:25Speaker 2: people grew up with no money, single parent homes. If
- 18:29Speaker 2: that that are talented, they music for the soul and
- 18:35Speaker 2: they know that these guys ain't educated. The lawyers that's
- 18:38Speaker 2: representing us artists or their friends that went to school
- 18:42Speaker 2: with them, brother in laws in some cases. And the
- 18:46Speaker 2: whole shit is predatory, the whole shit, the whole term
- 18:48Speaker 2: is like and so it's a lot of you motherfuckers
- 18:53Speaker 2: out there. It's a lot of crooks out there that's
- 18:56Speaker 2: real smart. See, I never got robbed by a guy
- 18:58Speaker 2: with a gun. I always I robbed by a guy
- 19:00Speaker 2: with smiling the bull type who talk a little smarter
- 19:04Speaker 2: than me, who had a big better uh uh, what
- 19:08Speaker 2: could you say? Vocabulary than me? And we think because
- 19:11Speaker 2: they look like us, or they went somewhere and they're smart,
- 19:14Speaker 2: they could represent us. And those are the guys who
- 19:17Speaker 2: rob you. So the record labels ain't no different. So
- 19:19Speaker 2: these people get next to you and they befriend you,
- 19:22Speaker 2: and they figure out the whole time they talk to
- 19:25Speaker 2: you and having these meeting with you, they realize that
- 19:28Speaker 2: they're trying to figure out what you do know and
- 19:29Speaker 2: you don't know. And when they figure out what you
- 19:32Speaker 2: don't know, that's where they figure out where to rob
- 19:34Speaker 2: you from. Because you're never going to find out you
- 19:37Speaker 2: don't even know about it, and so you know, a
- 19:39Speaker 2: lot of that takes place in the business.
- 19:41Speaker 5: I told Joe Budden the other day, shout out to Joe.
- 19:44Speaker 5: You have to be educated even to ask a question.
- 19:46Speaker 5: You have to have a little bit of education even
- 19:48Speaker 5: asks a question. A lot of times with us, we're
- 19:51Speaker 5: not even in a position to ask a question with
- 19:53Speaker 5: the level of education is so low you can't you're
- 19:55Speaker 5: not even educating enough to ask a question.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Well, that's where we go back into entrepreneurial is and
- 20:00Speaker 2: that's when we go back to business is business. So
- 20:03Speaker 2: what happened to me is I've been in the streets
- 20:05Speaker 2: since I was fourteen years old, so I left. You
- 20:07Speaker 2: got to understand everybody says that, how true their story is.
- 20:12Speaker 2: I was fourteen years old in the streets of Baby
- 20:14Speaker 2: my daughter's fourteen. She called me Today's face some dad,
- 20:18Speaker 2: you donna love me. That's this type of shit you
- 20:20Speaker 2: talk to a fourteen year old. I'm fourteen years old
- 20:24Speaker 2: selling drugs, living in crackhead hotels. Had to figure out
- 20:28Speaker 2: I go to one forty fifth and Broadway by fifty
- 20:31Speaker 2: dollars worth of crack cocaine, come back in the cab,
- 20:33Speaker 2: cut the shit up, make one hundred dollars proper to
- 20:36Speaker 2: buy a pair of sneakers. Go back over there with
- 20:38Speaker 2: the fifty dollars. Do this shit three four times a day,
- 20:41Speaker 2: risking my life, risking everything. Fourteen years old, living in
- 20:44Speaker 2: crackhead hotels where they busting people's heads open with forty
- 20:47Speaker 2: ounce bottles. I'm opening the door and it's shooting Heroin
- 20:52Speaker 2: in front of me, you know. So it's too much
- 20:55Speaker 2: for a fourteen year old. So I came in doing
- 20:57Speaker 2: the business. And so I got really big at that business,
- 21:02Speaker 2: like really really I'm not proud of it, but like
- 21:05Speaker 2: really really big. So I'm always was it an entrepreneur
- 21:10Speaker 2: and always looking to expand and and and do my things.
- 21:13Speaker 2: So when I got in the music business, I always
- 21:16Speaker 2: came in with with the entrepreneurialism, you know what I'm saying.
- 21:19Speaker 2: I shot the movie Night School, and and thank god,
- 21:23Speaker 2: uh that they picked me for the movie Kevin Hard
- 21:27Speaker 2: and and and yeah your tipany at it and my
- 21:31Speaker 2: man will pack her. But the whole time I was there,
- 21:33Speaker 2: I ain't like it. Because I enjoyed the acting. I
- 21:38Speaker 2: enjoyed being with my peers and learning from them, But
- 21:40Speaker 2: the whole time I was like, yo, I don't own
- 21:42Speaker 2: this ship. And so I went and sold the movie
- 21:45Speaker 2: to Warner Brothers recently movie. So I'm not like, nah,
- 21:50Speaker 2: I'm not I'm that's me. I'm like, I'm trying to
- 21:53Speaker 2: figure out how to own the ship, how to go
- 21:55Speaker 2: in there. And you know, I'm not the smartest. I'm
- 21:57Speaker 2: not that, but that's just always nontality. So I go
- 21:59Speaker 2: in to Relativity Records. It's ten Jewish dudes, and I'm
- 22:03Speaker 2: sitting in there and they start using fancy words, and
- 22:06Speaker 2: within an hour I started realizing, I mean, this man
- 22:12Speaker 2: out of work. Cut it up. You gotta promote, you
- 22:15Speaker 2: gotta give samples out. We used to do something when
- 22:17Speaker 2: we hustle. And look, I'm not proud about this, guys,
- 22:20Speaker 2: but I'm just telling you what. I used. Think the
- 22:21Speaker 2: beat name of cook Coake down the street and go sample, sample, sample.
- 22:32Speaker 2: When I got a new batch of fresh.
- 22:34Speaker 3: Product ice cream, trunk you real talk.
- 22:37Speaker 2: So I would go sample and I would have maybe
- 22:39Speaker 2: like three hundred dollars worth of dope, and dope fiends
- 22:43Speaker 2: will follow me and I give it to him and
- 22:45Speaker 2: I asked him, is it good? Is it a nine?
- 22:48Speaker 2: Is it ten? To count? How does it feel? How's
- 22:51Speaker 2: it coming down?
- 22:53Speaker 7: I never got and so we had the market promote.
- 23:04Speaker 2: They knew the new packages in you know what I'm saying,
- 23:07Speaker 2: So when I get it in the music business, I
- 23:09Speaker 2: know what the fuck they talking about. I'm sitting there.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Oh they talking about samples. You gotta get my promoc that.
- 23:15Speaker 2: We talk about that all the time.
- 23:16Speaker 4: It's like, yo, you just if we just shifted the
- 23:19Speaker 4: same disciplines in other mediums, we could be super successful.
- 23:23Speaker 2: Right.
- 23:23Speaker 4: We talked about that with trapping. It's like yo, he's saying, Yo,
- 23:26Speaker 4: the game just like the Wall Street game. Right, it's
- 23:28Speaker 4: the same discipline. You know what I'm saying.
- 23:30Speaker 2: If you've learned it there, you can apply it somewhere else.
- 23:33Speaker 2: And so like you're saying it, So I've met billionaires. Okay,
- 23:39Speaker 2: this is what I was gonna try to It ain't
- 23:40Speaker 2: about Harvard. It ain't about Harvard. It ain't about an education.
- 23:46Speaker 2: I'm being real with you. Should you have people with
- 23:49Speaker 2: that education around you to protect you and talk the
- 23:53Speaker 2: language you don't know how to talk. But I met
- 23:55Speaker 2: so many billionaires dead they just have that, they have
- 24:00Speaker 2: that niche. So I've met a guy I know, a
- 24:02Speaker 2: guy beyond a billionaire. He uh, he would, he would.
- 24:09Speaker 2: He owned his spot in Miami. I don't want to
- 24:11Speaker 2: tell his business like that, but he owned the spot
- 24:13Speaker 2: in Miami. Uh, cooking gowns like grandmother batas they called botas.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Here's a lot of latinos. So you know how your
- 24:22Speaker 2: grandmother used to cooking the thing with the little like
- 24:25Speaker 2: the apron ship not an apron but the dress and
- 24:28Speaker 2: once you cook on Sunday, Saturday, soul food cooking. They
- 24:31Speaker 2: all got them right. He made that right. He made
- 24:35Speaker 2: a start doing that old people behind the thing. He
- 24:39Speaker 2: learned business do there next thing, you know, the next
- 24:42Speaker 2: the next store. Uh, they own perfume thing. He wound
- 24:47Speaker 2: up buying that business. So he's selling the perfume thing.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Now he figures out when he's selling in the factory
- 24:53Speaker 2: in Switzerland or whatever. And then next thing, you know,
- 24:56Speaker 2: he started just buying companies off of no how out
- 25:00Speaker 2: and flipping them and selling them. And now he's a billionaire.
- 25:03Speaker 2: He never went to Harvard, he never went to none
- 25:06Speaker 2: of that ship. He just learned how to play this
- 25:08Speaker 2: game and kept flipping it. And now they look at
- 25:11Speaker 2: him like he's the greatest genius you ever seen in life.
- 25:13Speaker 2: You don't talk the same language as these people, but
- 25:16Speaker 2: he gets shit done. You know, I got another friend.
- 25:19Speaker 2: She owns a company called a Latin now she calls
- 25:22Speaker 2: it's called It's a ten hair product. She was a beautician,
- 25:26Speaker 2: she was doing girls heads. She ain't liked the product
- 25:29Speaker 2: she was. She invented her own shampoo. They call it
- 25:32Speaker 2: liquid Go Ship blue, out of control. She makes four
- 25:35Speaker 2: hundred million a year. So it's not about Harvard and
- 25:39Speaker 2: Yale or none of that.
- 25:40Speaker 5: Ship is about smart you smart, I thought, we say
- 25:43Speaker 5: all the time, it's about it's about the education that
- 25:45Speaker 5: you get outside of school.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Actly, listen to fifty is the new Aaron Spelling? He said,
- 25:51Speaker 2: got like twenty shows on TV BRO and Eastern, the
- 25:55Speaker 2: projects in South Side Jamaica. Quiz. He's just he's just
- 25:58Speaker 2: new business. He got it. They studied the business and
- 26:01Speaker 2: he applied the ship from the street in this and
- 26:04Speaker 2: it's longest because the hardest thing is ah And tonight
- 26:10Speaker 2: on my show, I got Daniels and I watched a
- 26:12Speaker 2: couple of interviews of his. He keeps saying, because they
- 26:16Speaker 2: wouldn't let us in, because they wouldn't let us in,
- 26:18Speaker 2: because and that's the point. The point is a lot
- 26:21Speaker 2: of people have ideas, creative ideas. Who can actually make
- 26:25Speaker 2: them happen, you know, who can get in there when
- 26:28Speaker 2: they said they won't let us in.
- 26:30Speaker 3: That's that's what's up.
- 26:31Speaker 5: Let me ask you this as far as diversifying, so
- 26:35Speaker 5: I never forget when you look the sneakers.
- 26:38Speaker 3: Legendary moment.
- 26:41Speaker 5: It was the Jordans, was it? So you look the sneakers.
- 26:46Speaker 5: So obviously everybody knows that you've been a sneakerhead for
- 26:49Speaker 5: a long time. And I believe you had a sneaker
- 26:51Speaker 5: store when he was a teenager. But now that's come
- 26:54Speaker 5: full circle where you got up in YC.
- 26:56Speaker 2: Talk about that, and you can trust me, we the
- 27:00Speaker 2: biggest for a Latino in the black community period in
- 27:04Speaker 2: New York City. So you know, our kids always got
- 27:07Speaker 2: to see them to be going all the way downtown
- 27:10Speaker 2: to get the fly sneakers and get the fly ship.
- 27:13Speaker 2: You walk in the stores in our hood. Uh, this
- 27:17Speaker 2: fucking rust leaking off the ceiling. You know, you treat
- 27:20Speaker 2: us like you know, we ain't shit. Yeah, and still
- 27:23Speaker 2: they make enough money to go live in our pine
- 27:25Speaker 2: and tenor flying mansions and shit like that or for
- 27:29Speaker 2: our hood, right, So it was a natural progression saying
- 27:35Speaker 2: that I love sneaking so much and I'm a sneaker,
- 27:37Speaker 2: you know, collector. But to open up back in our
- 27:42Speaker 2: community show people a lot of artists, they get they
- 27:45Speaker 2: get up and they run away. We never see him again,
- 27:49Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. And that's not what Fat
- 27:51Speaker 2: Joe has ever been about. So to open back up,
- 27:54Speaker 2: and like you said, it is a major key making
- 27:57Speaker 2: everybody your partner. You know what I'm saying. You go
- 27:59Speaker 2: to my store now you see the guy be on
- 28:01Speaker 2: the connon he got a rolex on like your ship
- 28:08Speaker 2: that from New York. They got rolexes on, They got
- 28:12Speaker 2: bends outside, look like the marble floor. Marble floor. Because
- 28:17Speaker 2: I gotta make sure they don't steal from me. You
- 28:20Speaker 2: gotta take care of them enough feel like yours, so
- 28:23Speaker 2: they won't steal from me.
- 28:26Speaker 3: They don't put you on the menu.
- 28:27Speaker 2: Is that you don't feed the wolves. That I ain't
- 28:31Speaker 2: never hear it like that, but that is a fact.
- 28:34Speaker 2: And so that's what I do. I make sure everybody happy.
- 28:38Speaker 2: My birthday didn't buy me ship like they chipped in
- 28:40Speaker 2: for this watch for me it's called the chandeliers.
- 28:49Speaker 3: So what's the what's the vision for can we introduce
- 28:50Speaker 3: killing mic?
- 28:51Speaker 5: And he was like his vision for his barbershops is
- 28:53Speaker 5: to like franchise it and have like a barber shop
- 28:55Speaker 5: and they be major city.
- 28:56Speaker 3: Is your vision to have it? Like, uh, what's the sneak?
- 29:00Speaker 2: I want to open the club, like not flight club
- 29:03Speaker 2: because they resell you're actually smarter than me, so let's
- 29:08Speaker 2: get the concept gone. I don't know.
- 29:09Speaker 4: I don't think so right because they are people. I'm
- 29:12Speaker 4: a sneaker at myself, but it's like, yo, sometimes you
- 29:14Speaker 4: just want the sneaker.
- 29:15Speaker 2: Like these people just uberized it's sneaky, right. So what
- 29:19Speaker 2: they do is they rent the spot and they tell you, yo,
- 29:21Speaker 2: bring you sneak. I'm gonna get twenty percent of our
- 29:24Speaker 2: selling for whatever you want to sell it for. If
- 29:26Speaker 2: you say, y'all want a thousand dollars to that sneaker,
- 29:29Speaker 2: they get their two hundred off to sell. They never
- 29:31Speaker 2: had to buy the sneaker, they never owned the sneaker.
- 29:34Speaker 2: They just making pc. They're like the house, like if
- 29:37Speaker 2: it's a gambling course. So with me is different with us,
- 29:42Speaker 2: we got to count Jordan Nike counts and stuff like that.
- 29:46Speaker 2: So we gotta play by the rules. We can't resell,
- 29:49Speaker 2: we can't spell the one in the box. We can't,
- 29:52Speaker 2: which we're grateful. But but but the answer to answer
- 29:55Speaker 2: you is, I want to open up about ten of them.
- 29:58Speaker 2: Like I'm actually uh moving back to New York right
- 30:02Speaker 2: now in the process, full time, full time, just totally
- 30:06Speaker 2: focused on my sneaker stores and the and the side business.
- 30:12Speaker 2: I want to. I want to. I want to open
- 30:14Speaker 2: up a fun business. See me, I'm not scared. Right
- 30:17Speaker 2: So now, anybody watches your show, they probably don't hurt
- 30:20Speaker 2: the smartest people coming here and talk me. I'm you
- 30:25Speaker 2: could call me dumb because I'm like Bugsy Segull. I
- 30:28Speaker 2: will go to the desert and bill Bakers. I don't
- 30:31Speaker 2: give a fuck if I lose, I lose win. Hey,
- 30:35Speaker 2: with geniuses, that's me. I'm not scared money. I'm not
- 30:38Speaker 2: scared of money. I'm not scared money. So with me,
- 30:41Speaker 2: I want to open a business. I don't know if
- 30:44Speaker 2: I should talk about it, but uh, but it's gonna
- 30:47Speaker 2: be personal and I'm gonna work there. I'm gonna work
- 30:50Speaker 2: at the shot, run the shot in New York City.
- 30:54Speaker 2: I'm gonna run the shot some day to day vib
- 30:56Speaker 2: some day to day vibes. I want to open up
- 30:59Speaker 2: you know, I'm pre betic. I been diabetic since I
- 31:01Speaker 2: was fourteen. I want to open up a bakery strictly
- 31:05Speaker 2: for diabetics, no sugar, no sugar, for the kids that
- 31:10Speaker 2: are struggling with weight issues. People are healthy who want
- 31:15Speaker 2: stuff like that. There's never been a bakery with actually
- 31:19Speaker 2: taste the dishes, and you get you knowing that now
- 31:22Speaker 2: they got mony food sugar, they got all different types
- 31:26Speaker 2: of uh.
- 31:28Speaker 5: We should we should connect fishy flavors, we should connect
- 31:30Speaker 5: him with So jay Z invested in this company. I
- 31:35Speaker 5: forgot that the woman's name. We interviewed her too, but
- 31:37Speaker 5: she her kid had a food allergy allergy. She quit
- 31:42Speaker 5: her corporate job where she was making a nice amount
- 31:44Speaker 5: of money and she started a line of of cookies.
- 31:49Speaker 5: And it has like the non allergetic thing, the vegan thing,
- 31:53Speaker 5: the thing I'm gonna do.
- 31:54Speaker 2: But I'm gonna do it for uh pretty much low
- 31:57Speaker 2: sugar into close to no sugar, no sugar, a taste
- 32:00Speaker 2: delicious And now I want you work there. I want
- 32:03Speaker 2: to be behind account with the chef I'm in there,
- 32:12Speaker 2: thinks him crazy. Everybody thinks some crazy. You're gonna fat Joe,
- 32:17Speaker 2: shoot got fee, you know what I'm saying. And I'm
- 32:19Speaker 2: behind that calendar. You're gonna see and it's going to
- 32:22Speaker 2: change the game because at the end of the day,
- 32:25Speaker 2: you know, the health crisis in America, especially in the
- 32:28Speaker 2: black and Latino community, has a lot to deal deal
- 32:32Speaker 2: with sugar issues. We gotta start educating. Make stuff the
- 32:37Speaker 2: tasty so that I know if I have that option,
- 32:40Speaker 2: you know, I would prefer that rather than you know,
- 32:43Speaker 2: fuck myself.
- 32:44Speaker 4: I feel like you've done that, man, especially in the
- 32:46Speaker 4: health side. It was used to be fat Joe, and
- 32:47Speaker 4: now it's like, yeah, we just gotta call him Joe.
- 32:49Speaker 4: He's lost some one's weight back.
- 32:53Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 32:55Speaker 4: I feel like I feel like you've always given back.
- 32:57Speaker 4: So you said that you want to do that for
- 32:58Speaker 4: the kids, but I heard the story where you did
- 33:01Speaker 4: that with the sneakers too. It was your love for
- 33:02Speaker 4: sneakers and your love for kids, and you said, you
- 33:04Speaker 4: know what, I'm gonna go back to the schools in
- 33:05Speaker 4: the Bronx and as an incentive for them to improve
- 33:08Speaker 4: their grades as an incentive to improve behavior.
- 33:10Speaker 2: I'm giving sneakers to the entire school. So how did
- 33:14Speaker 2: that go? Speakers to the classes the number one class
- 33:20Speaker 2: who improved in reading grades and behavior and uh and
- 33:26Speaker 2: the charity knits right, that's a big one. And so yo,
- 33:31Speaker 2: the bullies became the geniuses, the bullies in the school,
- 33:34Speaker 2: the kids. That was the biggest problem. This that man,
- 33:37Speaker 2: I went up in there and we did it to
- 33:40Speaker 2: what like ten schools or something, moving DS junior and
- 33:46Speaker 2: when you see the guys that are one of these
- 33:49Speaker 2: guys as bullies, they start crying. I used to come
- 33:52Speaker 2: here and start with people, and now I love my
- 33:54Speaker 2: classmates and I'm so proud of my class. And I
- 33:59Speaker 2: knew that if you because I had, like I told you,
- 34:02Speaker 2: I came up real, real tough. And had you told
- 34:05Speaker 2: Fat Joey from far As Projects, it was a chance
- 34:08Speaker 2: he could have won some Jordan sneakers. By I'd have
- 34:12Speaker 2: been a plus student, you know what I'm saying. So
- 34:15Speaker 2: it really really the empirical data, uh was incredible. The
- 34:20Speaker 2: grades shot up to just everybody competed for the Unfortunately
- 34:24Speaker 2: I couldn't give it to every kid in the school.
- 34:27Speaker 2: You know what I mean, because it'd be too expensive,
- 34:29Speaker 2: but it was really really great. And what we do
- 34:32Speaker 2: a lot is we constantly give it back, right Like
- 34:36Speaker 2: I mean like constantly giving back, you know the thanksgivings,
- 34:41Speaker 2: not the thanksgivings, the Christmas thousands, families, groceries. I'm not
- 34:45Speaker 2: talking about this. I think groceries for the thing. We
- 34:48Speaker 2: try to do as much as we can. You know,
- 34:50Speaker 2: COVID nineteen hit our community bad. The kids couldn't go
- 34:54Speaker 2: to school, so they needed laptops. We bought it tons
- 34:57Speaker 2: of laptops and donated it to the schools ship. We
- 35:00Speaker 2: don't even talk about you know what I'm saying because
- 35:04Speaker 2: I'm blessed, saying we all blessed, you know, when we
- 35:07Speaker 2: can wake up and eat a lobster or steak if
- 35:09Speaker 2: we were really blessed. So we like to give back
- 35:13Speaker 2: as much as we can to our community. So it's
- 35:16Speaker 2: almost become My stores have almost become a hug to
- 35:20Speaker 2: how you can get in touch with that Joe. Let's
- 35:23Speaker 2: see if you're you get them to donate some ship
- 35:26Speaker 2: in a few years. You know, yo, what's going there?
- 35:30Speaker 2: Y'all tell a big man, yo, I got some ship.
- 35:33Speaker 2: I got to talk to him about some autistic kids.
- 35:36Speaker 2: I know his son is autistic, and they work that
- 35:39Speaker 2: ship and then they wind up getting the meeting with
- 35:41Speaker 2: me and we wind up donating shit. That's a beautiful thing. Man.
- 35:44Speaker 5: Let me ask you this, how well two questions about rap?
- 35:49Speaker 5: How important is it to diversify? We talked about multiple
- 35:51Speaker 5: streams of income a lot right for your rap. I
- 35:53Speaker 5: mean you're you're blessed thirty years in the game that
- 35:56Speaker 5: I feel like rappers like football, the aversh rappers, Yeah, right,
- 36:01Speaker 5: like three years, right, So you're getting money for a
- 36:03Speaker 5: short period of time, but now when it stops, it's over.
- 36:07Speaker 5: This is why a lot of athletes go broke because
- 36:08Speaker 5: it's like, no matter even if you make ten million,
- 36:10Speaker 5: you're living like you make ten million, which is cool
- 36:12Speaker 5: while you're making ten million, but then you go for
- 36:14Speaker 5: making ten million to zero. So how important is that
- 36:17Speaker 5: to diversify and have other stuff going?
- 36:19Speaker 2: First of all, you gotta believe, you gotta live in truth.
- 36:23Speaker 2: You gotta believe it, you gotta live in reality. So
- 36:27Speaker 2: it's hard for us because we realize I win't broke
- 36:30Speaker 2: these times, you know, millions after getting millions, ten million, dollars,
- 36:35Speaker 2: broke four million dollars.
- 36:38Speaker 5: How that happened? After more bottom more bottoms? Do you
- 36:48Speaker 5: think after the first time, you wasn't like all right,
- 36:51Speaker 5: hard stop.
- 36:52Speaker 2: Oh. I walked out that bank. My asshole was so tight.
- 36:55Speaker 2: I felt like you beat me to death with this
- 36:58Speaker 2: fucking mic. I was like dolphin with a hole in
- 37:01Speaker 2: my head. Ship was different. That ship was buzzing like.
- 37:05Speaker 2: The lady was like, I'm sorry, mister Carter Gena, because
- 37:08Speaker 2: I used to go there every day for like fifty
- 37:10Speaker 2: thousand cash every day in the bank, give me fifty
- 37:13Speaker 2: thousand cash? Can me thirty thousand casts? Can be fifty thousand?
- 37:16Speaker 2: You think you can't run out of that ship? And
- 37:19Speaker 2: one day I went there. I'll never forget. It was
- 37:21Speaker 2: across the street from Yankee Stadium, that bank that chased
- 37:24Speaker 2: She said, must be a problem money in here, mister.
- 37:29Speaker 2: I was like, I walked out of there. I was like,
- 37:36Speaker 2: and I had to go back at it. I remember
- 37:40Speaker 2: I got on my knees and I prayed to guard
- 37:42Speaker 2: every day, like on.
- 37:44Speaker 5: The knees, like negotiating with but if you just one
- 37:47Speaker 5: more tre.
- 37:51Speaker 2: Knees man, not just praying, you know, pray anywhere but
- 37:56Speaker 2: on the knees staring at the Jesus poster like please
- 38:00Speaker 2: don't let it go out like that. And from the
- 38:03Speaker 2: drug game to any other game, I watched people have
- 38:08Speaker 2: runs that have their money and then lose it. Andy
- 38:10Speaker 2: be like, yeah, he used to have it. You know
- 38:12Speaker 2: what I'm saying. And unfortunately, the only thing people seem
- 38:16Speaker 2: to respect is the bag that you got money. It's
- 38:20Speaker 2: the only difference in fact, Joe walking in here then
- 38:22Speaker 2: another old school rapper that came out with Joe just
- 38:25Speaker 2: missing his front teeth. When Joe come in here, he
- 38:28Speaker 2: smelled good, he's still flying. Just oh he got the bag.
- 38:32Speaker 2: Respect this man. Let's talk about this. Respect the bag,
- 38:35Speaker 2: out of respect the bag. What's the catalyst that brings
- 38:37Speaker 2: you back well at that time? Each time? Is it
- 38:40Speaker 2: like yo, lean back, took me out of here.
- 38:42Speaker 4: I feel like you are consistent with like, yo, you're
- 38:44Speaker 4: gonna give us an anthem?
- 38:46Speaker 2: That's not easy, bro, I know, I mean we don't
- 38:50Speaker 2: see it. We don't see some people is lucky. That's unfortunate.
- 38:55Speaker 2: That's unfortunate, because to have one hit record is a miracle.
- 39:00Speaker 3: That's a fact.
- 39:01Speaker 2: You got a fucking miracle. I always say I'd rather
- 39:04Speaker 2: be a woner hit wonder than to no hit wonder, Like,
- 39:07Speaker 2: at least you gotta hit. You walk the red carpet,
- 39:11Speaker 2: you see your favorite might even fuck one of the
- 39:13Speaker 2: most famous army. You get money, then you run out
- 39:17Speaker 2: of it is when you did it right, and then
- 39:20Speaker 2: another thing to rap forever and never get a hit
- 39:23Speaker 2: and so but to constantly do it over and over
- 39:27Speaker 2: and over and over and over again.
- 39:29Speaker 5: That song that you got right now is my favorite
- 39:31Speaker 5: song out right now. I've said it several times.
- 39:36Speaker 2: Another vibe.
- 39:37Speaker 3: Yeah, so it's like.
- 39:39Speaker 2: But so that's quarantine music. That's d nice.
- 39:43Speaker 3: It's a mashup. It started as a mashup, right with.
- 39:46Speaker 2: You fucking incredible genius and the way he mixes his
- 39:52Speaker 2: ship he's at.

- 42:47Speaker 3: He's nest he told me I didn't know about.
- 42:49Speaker 2: Him at all. It's different.
- 42:50Speaker 3: He's I don't know.
- 42:51Speaker 4: Way, you must have a program where he's studying the
- 42:54Speaker 4: beats permitted because the way it blends sounds like, Yo,
- 42:57Speaker 4: that should have been a record.
- 42:59Speaker 3: How do you get that samp? Because it's like Rihanna sample,
- 43:01Speaker 3: it's a sample.
- 43:02Speaker 2: So that's business like exactly. So Dre heard him, and
- 43:08Speaker 2: d was like, Yo, you will not fucking believe this.
- 43:12Speaker 2: I was like, what you're saying. I was in the
- 43:14Speaker 2: Bahamas on vacation. He was like, yo, I want to
- 43:16Speaker 2: send you some ship. So he says, clip of the
- 43:19Speaker 2: kid playing the music? What the fuck? That ship is crazy?
- 43:23Speaker 2: And then Drake called me. He said, you will produce
- 43:25Speaker 2: that Ship's one thing to DJ, it's another thing to
- 43:28Speaker 2: produce the snare, the this, the that, the right loop,
- 43:31Speaker 2: the right you know, produce unsir. Dre produced it and
- 43:37Speaker 2: I was like, this ship is crazy. So then he
- 43:39Speaker 2: got back from vacation and we did Callus Studios, Callus Studio, different,
- 43:45Speaker 2: Callus Studio, got palm trees. They give you cappuccinos while
- 43:50Speaker 2: you're recording. Nah, it's a movie. Smells like a billion
- 43:53Speaker 2: dollars you're looking at water and ship like it's different
- 43:57Speaker 2: to caleng in there with me. Dre's in there with me,
- 44:00Speaker 2: and we actually wrote the song together like and we
- 44:04Speaker 2: The last time we did that was leaned Back. The
- 44:08Speaker 2: very last time DJ Kalid Cool and Dre sat down
- 44:12Speaker 2: and plotted on a record was lean Back, you know,
- 44:16Speaker 2: because after that Calid got his career. I do my thing,
- 44:19Speaker 2: they do they thing. The last time we collaborated and
- 44:22Speaker 2: plotted was leaned Back. So we up in there and
- 44:25Speaker 2: call it comes back with We're back to take those
- 44:28Speaker 2: in the sky, my god to take those I'm like,
- 44:31Speaker 2: oh shick, call it so cal it made that he
- 44:34Speaker 2: came up with that one line back to go.
- 44:36Speaker 3: So you're only in the sky, my got to take those.
- 44:38Speaker 3: That's hard. That's the big play for the sky.
- 44:41Speaker 2: We was like, so we was like in his zone
- 44:44Speaker 2: and and that he's down as a writer.
- 44:47Speaker 5: That's how I know that came with that line he
- 44:50Speaker 5: came up with.
- 44:52Speaker 2: So I go boom uh. So we up in there
- 44:55Speaker 2: and we do it. Then I call a kid m
- 44:58Speaker 2: the kid kid called me back video and like yo,
- 45:01Speaker 2: he was like, yo, what I've seen what you've been
- 45:03Speaker 2: doing that? And then play it for. I said, listen,
- 45:06Speaker 2: we're gonna give you the the video writer, publisher. You're
- 45:12Speaker 2: gonna get paid, like you know, come on, man, take everybody,
- 45:16Speaker 2: take everybody. He's my partner now now you know him
- 45:20Speaker 2: is following with the young kids. He's going crazy out
- 45:23Speaker 2: there with the young kids, the young kids. Is we
- 45:26Speaker 2: posting the ship this? This? That? Because they said, yo here,
- 45:29Speaker 2: they ain't fuck him. They ain't fuck him. That's what
- 45:33Speaker 2: I mean my partnership. Everybody together win. We all gotta win.
- 45:36Speaker 2: I learned that from the Billies. I learned that from
- 45:39Speaker 2: the billionaires. Everybody gotta win everybody. You cannot win on
- 45:44Speaker 2: your own, bro, it just won't happen. Everybody gotta win it.
- 45:48Speaker 2: And us we like to be like little kids that
- 45:50Speaker 2: when you play with the boy, you me me me
- 45:52Speaker 2: me me me me Nah.
- 45:53Speaker 4: But you gotta pass that ship off, man. I mean
- 45:56Speaker 4: you do that effolessly like ever. I mean, your relationship
- 45:58Speaker 4: with Callage, we can see it. I was Colan d
- 46:00Speaker 4: we can see that. So we got the Rihanna thing.
- 46:03Speaker 3: What time you got to do that call Now?
- 46:05Speaker 2: I was just gonna say, oh, well, the Rihanna thing,
- 46:07Speaker 2: got that CLI and Luther. That's That's what I'm saying exactly.
- 46:11Speaker 2: So how did that go? You know, Luther's my idel man.
- 46:14Speaker 2: Luther is my favorite single of all time. And I
- 46:18Speaker 2: do believe because I sent those vibrations out my whole life.
- 46:21Speaker 2: So I've done like big interviews, bro, like TV awards whatever,
- 46:26Speaker 2: like big ship. You can google it. I've always put him,
- 46:29Speaker 2: even before Michael Jackson. I don't The last thing I'm
- 46:33Speaker 2: thinking is his family is seeing this, and the fat
- 46:36Speaker 2: Joe's a big figure, so I'm thinking they're seeing this
- 46:40Speaker 2: because they don't clear, right. So then when the sample
- 46:45Speaker 2: guy goes to them and say, yo, we got a sample.
- 46:47Speaker 2: You know, we don't clear and he was like, we want.
- 46:52Speaker 3: To do this, They're like, no, we that Joe.
- 47:02Speaker 2: They was like, we want to do this. And then
- 47:04Speaker 2: they had known about the amorphous uh mash up and
- 47:09Speaker 2: they was like, we love that little kid too, and
- 47:12Speaker 2: Joe's doing it with the kid that yeah, is Rihanna
- 47:16Speaker 2: gonna clear this? And that was like and then it
- 47:18Speaker 2: was just she cleared it. It wasn't a problem. And
- 47:22Speaker 2: then and and she sent the message. She sent the
- 47:25Speaker 2: message in my publish he said, he said they cleared it,
- 47:30Speaker 2: and she wants you to know she loves everybody.
- 47:37Speaker 5: I love Rihanna, Bro, everybody killing Bro?
- 47:43Speaker 2: How's everybody doing? It's the big big show man. What's
- 47:51Speaker 2: going on? Baby? How's my family doing out there? Well, listen,
- 48:00Speaker 2: let me tell you man, I appreciate y'all what y'all
- 48:02Speaker 2: done for me, my whole entire life. You know, I'm
- 48:07Speaker 2: indebted to y'all. You guys have always supported me. Kobe,
- 48:11Speaker 2: you gave me my first show ever, Flow Joe and
- 48:14Speaker 2: Cam then. I know we don't want to bore people
- 48:16Speaker 2: with the story, but my first show ever was you.
- 48:19Speaker 2: You know, I love you. We're family, and you know
- 48:24Speaker 2: I got this new song out and all I'm trying
- 48:26Speaker 2: to do is uplift the people and bring bring the
- 48:29Speaker 2: light out and make people have a fun time. You know,
- 48:32Speaker 2: we lost a lot of people. You know a lot
- 48:34Speaker 2: of people are depressed, they lost their jobs, and all
- 48:37Speaker 2: I try to do is make a song. This is
- 48:39Speaker 2: the first song I have ever made to just really
- 48:43Speaker 2: bring joy in people's.
- 48:44Speaker 3: Lives in the game.
- 48:46Speaker 5: So look at business and action. Yeah, so that what
- 48:49Speaker 5: just happened? The interlude? All right, tell us what just happened?
- 48:53Speaker 5: Because that was dope to actually wishes that.
- 48:55Speaker 2: All right, it's different radio groups. Is Radio one is one,
- 49:07Speaker 2: and then we got Doc Winters and so you know
- 49:11Speaker 2: they onn like thirty forty radio stations.
- 49:13Speaker 3: Clear channel, clear channel.
- 49:15Speaker 2: Clear channel is a little bit small, smaller, but it's
- 49:18Speaker 2: big like that too. Clear channel is big. And then
- 49:22Speaker 2: and so that was the call before. You know, every
- 49:27Speaker 2: week they add new records to radio. So that was
- 49:30Speaker 2: the call with like maybe twenty program directors. These are
- 49:34Speaker 2: the guys who pretty much are the wizard of ours.
- 49:36Speaker 2: They picked the records to get played. So every artist
- 49:40Speaker 2: goes and makes it pleted them and tell them what
- 49:42Speaker 2: their music's about and could you support us? And sometimes
- 49:46Speaker 2: they support, sometimes they don't. But you know, Fat Joe
- 49:49Speaker 2: has always been active in COVID. I can't do it,
- 49:51Speaker 2: but you know, I think I'm one of the only
- 49:54Speaker 2: artists that's been around as long as me and it's
- 49:56Speaker 2: been as successful as me, that still gets on the
- 50:00Speaker 2: and goes do promo tour and goes to every little
- 50:02Speaker 2: milk and cranny radio station. It's crazy because when I
- 50:06Speaker 2: talked to him, I just talked to a PD program
- 50:08Speaker 2: director from Providence, Rhode Island, two days ago, he does
- 50:13Speaker 2: rhythmic and he was like, yo, you know, you always
- 50:17Speaker 2: come in here and I'm talking to him. I visualize
- 50:20Speaker 2: the radio station and in Providence He's like, you always
- 50:24Speaker 2: get a diapepsi right there in that first machine and
- 50:26Speaker 2: then you come and I'm like, yeah, man, and you know,
- 50:29Speaker 2: but that that is part of it, you know, kissing babies,
- 50:33Speaker 2: going around, you know, and knowing everybody from the mailman
- 50:37Speaker 2: to the boss. And that's where some people mess up
- 50:41Speaker 2: because you know, and that's when you move out with
- 50:43Speaker 2: the regime. This is all about business. Regimes means somebody's
- 50:46Speaker 2: the boss, and you walk past everybody, you think you shit,
- 50:50Speaker 2: don't think you up there and you in with the boss.
- 50:53Speaker 2: And the boss is the boss for five years, ten years,
- 50:55Speaker 2: and you sit in the plus couch. But they fire
- 50:57Speaker 2: that guy, you go with him. You're done.
- 51:01Speaker 5: That's like when Yay when he was like Puerto Rico
- 51:05Speaker 5: three days probably with the TDS.
- 51:06Speaker 3: Now they got replay everybody.
- 51:10Speaker 2: Man, he went out there, everybody, whoever you name, Beyonce,
- 51:15Speaker 2: anybody like, you know, we need these guys, you know
- 51:18Speaker 2: what I mean. The way you get more streams, you
- 51:21Speaker 2: generate more money more than popularity that someone blows up
- 51:26Speaker 2: is through these guys playing your music, so you know
- 51:29Speaker 2: you got you know, smart artists, Uh, politics with them.
- 51:34Speaker 2: The difference with the young artists now they're more streaming
- 51:37Speaker 2: artists as to radio artists, so they feel like they
- 51:41Speaker 2: don't have to have a relationship with these radio guys
- 51:45Speaker 2: or whatever. They just put their music out and the streams.
- 51:48Speaker 2: You know, I believe in networking and any business you
- 51:53Speaker 2: you in it and you basically as good as your
- 51:57Speaker 2: last relationship.
- 51:59Speaker 4: So you talk about this a lot about the diversification
- 52:02Speaker 4: of your career. He said, it's like a pizza pot.
- 52:04Speaker 4: So you had managing careers. You obviously the executive he
- 52:08Speaker 4: started acting a little bit. Hopefully we're going to see
- 52:10Speaker 4: more of that.
- 52:11Speaker 2: Uh.
- 52:11Speaker 4: And then obviously the sneaker stores. But touring has been
- 52:15Speaker 4: obviously with Covid out of the out of the mix.
- 52:18Speaker 4: And so you become a huge, huge I mean you
- 52:21Speaker 4: were obviously Joe Crapp before, but like on Instagram, big,
- 52:26Speaker 4: the big, big, big.
- 52:27Speaker 2: The big show. IM forgetting I don't get guys, I
- 52:30Speaker 2: only get like accolades, and you biged me up.
- 52:34Speaker 5: I'm gonna let you, gonna let you finish, but I
- 52:35Speaker 5: want to just make because I used to play ball,
- 52:39Speaker 5: so I'm a huge basketball Let's do that. And I
- 52:43Speaker 5: never forget, Uh, this is when the tournament one fifth
- 52:49Speaker 5: was popping. What was the name when Mousey started the
- 52:51Speaker 5: tournament try State. So that's the first time I actually
- 52:54Speaker 5: had seen him, and I already knew it was him
- 52:56Speaker 5: because it was a Fano.
- 53:00Speaker 3: I already knew.
- 53:00Speaker 5: I want But I'll never forget the legendary Rutgers situation.
- 53:05Speaker 5: I was actually there for that and with the jay
- 53:08Speaker 5: Z situation blackout and the blackout day, well the next
- 53:11Speaker 5: day after the blackout, and.
- 53:13Speaker 2: I was when I won the championship championship. Yeah, don't
- 53:16Speaker 2: forget that point.
- 53:17Speaker 3: I was there.
- 53:20Speaker 2: I was there and actually seven championships.
- 53:23Speaker 5: I was there and the coach you know at that
- 53:27Speaker 5: you know, as a player, I sucked.
- 53:29Speaker 3: Yeah, yea. Joe.
- 53:30Speaker 5: Joe was there like fifty deep with the big t
- 53:33Speaker 5: s Shain and you know, Brooklyn was heavy there, Like
- 53:37Speaker 5: Brooklyn came heavy and he was like.
- 53:39Speaker 2: Yo, jed of that. He was like, well, you're man
- 53:40Speaker 2: that I'm here there.
- 53:45Speaker 3: I was the legendary.
- 53:49Speaker 2: Started that that guy referring.
- 53:51Speaker 5: To that that was now I say that to say, yeah,
- 53:55Speaker 5: that was that was great time just to witness that,
- 53:57Speaker 5: because it was like, you see a lot of people
- 53:58Speaker 5: you don't see in person.
- 54:00Speaker 3: Some people what you're saying.
- 54:01Speaker 2: When Joe was acting like that, you say, he's the
- 54:03Speaker 2: real motherfucker. This guy's and in the middle of the
- 54:07Speaker 2: ship like, Yo, what's ups go? I think that I'm
- 54:11Speaker 2: not the I'm not the real I'm here, what's up?
- 54:17Speaker 2: So I know Brooklyn got mad at me that day.
- 54:19Speaker 2: They like this motherfucker out here flexing for real. And
- 54:24Speaker 2: I was just really offended, you know, because I was like,
- 54:28Speaker 2: you know, I had pretty much vitalized the Rucker. The
- 54:33Speaker 2: Ruker had fell off for a couple of years, so
- 54:35Speaker 2: I started putting in you know, I'm and there was
- 54:38Speaker 2: bad business one on one if you're an artist watching.
- 54:42Speaker 2: I loved the Rutgers so much and coaching the kids
- 54:46Speaker 2: out there that I wouldn't do no shows in the summer. Meanwhile,
- 54:50Speaker 2: they What's Love is number one in the world, and
- 54:54Speaker 2: they offered me one hundred and fifty thousand to do
- 54:56Speaker 2: a show and tours, and I'm like, nah, I got
- 54:59Speaker 2: a cold at the Rucker and Steph coming to Steph coming.
- 55:05Speaker 2: So it's like, so, I'm like, you know, I was
- 55:08Speaker 2: out there and I put my heart into rebuilding this thing,
- 55:12Speaker 2: and then here comes jay Zon and jay Z he
- 55:16Speaker 2: win everything. He got the most beautiful chicken the world.
- 55:22Speaker 2: He got. This guy just can't fucking lose, right, So
- 55:26Speaker 2: he coming up in there. He had to know when
- 55:28Speaker 2: he was coming in the ruck and it was gonna
- 55:29Speaker 2: be a fat Joe jay Z situation. Plus we had
- 55:33Speaker 2: unspeakable things in the past, the history right there was
- 55:37Speaker 2: a big history and then it all calmed down and
- 55:39Speaker 2: then he comes to the ruckers. So I'm like, I'm
- 55:42Speaker 2: still young, I'm still on my bullshit, you know. Uh.
- 55:46Speaker 2: And so he's coming in. I win the game and
- 55:50Speaker 2: he got the next game. He's walking in, it's fucking
- 55:52Speaker 2: Beyonce walking right behind me. Did He's dancing in the
- 55:56Speaker 2: middle of the can take my ship straight up? I'm like,
- 56:01Speaker 2: he came to take my ship. I had this ship
- 56:03Speaker 2: on lock, right, And you know, once you come in,
- 56:06Speaker 2: I'll tell you something that happened to me that day
- 56:09Speaker 2: that I had never seen. I was the King of
- 56:11Speaker 2: the Brooker. I brought it back Allan stephan Orberry, whoever
- 56:17Speaker 2: was whoever you thought of. I brought him out there.
- 56:19Speaker 2: I brought this whole ship up. When I walked in
- 56:22Speaker 2: that park that day, I seen a bunch of motherfuckers.
- 56:25Speaker 3: No, I was deed, I said, because I.
- 56:29Speaker 5: Was ever seen some people turn their back on me
- 56:31Speaker 5: so fast. It was like, yeah, I was like, I
- 56:35Speaker 5: was there. I was there, and I remember you got mad.
- 56:37Speaker 5: He was like, where your man at? It's like Brooklyn,
- 56:40Speaker 5: where your man at?
- 56:42Speaker 2: My motherfuckers was waiting.
- 56:44Speaker 5: Legend every moment because it was on the radio after
- 56:48Speaker 5: the night the night before. With that, with that, I
- 56:52Speaker 5: felt he came up. It was the night before. They
- 56:56Speaker 5: was on the phone call and I think OG won
- 56:59Speaker 5: and they was on the phone old you want Flex
- 57:02Speaker 5: Jay and Shock and Shack call. Shock called talking crazy.
- 57:06Speaker 5: But Shaq was lying because he wasn't there. And so
- 57:10Speaker 5: I interviewed him recently for the Big Big Show and
- 57:13Speaker 5: I see, yo, shack Man, how could you go against me?
- 57:15Speaker 5: He said, I'm gonna tell you that you.
- 57:16Speaker 2: I was not there. I was not going to play
- 57:19Speaker 2: against you. Now, if Shaq wasn't there, game, they had
- 57:23Speaker 2: Lebron if he was coming, but he was straight out
- 57:26Speaker 2: of high school.
- 57:27Speaker 5: I had Carmelo. They didn't really have. They had lou
- 57:29Speaker 5: Flora has no I'm basketball feeling. I know because I
- 57:35Speaker 5: was with them, because my straight out of my me
- 57:38Speaker 5: and Francisco go see a shot to Francisco. I know
- 57:43Speaker 5: who they had. They had to fashion tell for it
- 57:44Speaker 5: they had, they didn't have it. He had, Bron wasn't there.
- 57:49Speaker 5: I'm saying that's what was supposed to be. But I'm
- 57:50Speaker 5: saying the people that was physically there had Al Harrington, step.
- 57:55Speaker 2: Step in the in the shoutou in the hotel room
- 58:02Speaker 2: on fifty seventh Street. AI and Mike Bibby. This is
- 58:08Speaker 2: when they both was you know, the biggest right, So
- 58:11Speaker 2: they was down there waiting for me. So I was
- 58:13Speaker 2: gonna bring him in the halftime Ai, my Biby just
- 58:16Speaker 2: to fuck the park up straight. Hamilton. You know what
- 58:20Speaker 2: I'm saying. Coming at halftime, Hey, Mike, we had Zach Randolph,
- 58:26Speaker 2: we had steph.
- 58:28Speaker 3: We had Al harringon Harrington, he was there.
- 58:33Speaker 2: Carmelo was on standby, he was coming to I mean,
- 58:37Speaker 2: we we smashing them around it. Then my regular team,
- 58:43Speaker 2: you know, Rayford, Austin a Butter Korea, you know, we
- 58:48Speaker 2: had them.
- 58:48Speaker 4: We had the boys out there probably he's the longest
- 58:51Speaker 4: person tenure person that played with you.
- 58:53Speaker 2: Yeah, he's fed. Joe would have never want to uh
- 58:57Speaker 2: chip without career.
- 58:57Speaker 3: You're not putting the team in Dykeman. His biggest, biggest
- 59:01Speaker 3: his uh I get I'll get to that his i Q.
- 59:06Speaker 2: We're smarter than everybody. So what I learned about basketball
- 59:09Speaker 2: players is you could get the best, best, best physical
- 59:13Speaker 2: guy could jump to the moon and back. But if
- 59:16Speaker 2: they dumb when it's when when the chip is on
- 59:18Speaker 2: the line, they're gonna fuck it up. They're gonna stink
- 59:21Speaker 2: it up. Now you get somebody who's very very, very
- 59:24Speaker 2: very talented. And if they're smart Kobe was smart. Smart players,
- 59:30Speaker 2: if they smart Chris Paul Ship like that, they make
- 59:33Speaker 2: the right play at the end of the chipron how
- 59:36Speaker 2: they went on. Because I'm not imagining that.
- 59:38Speaker 4: I'm like in the huddle in my mind, like when
- 59:40Speaker 4: you're coaching these professionals, like what's like they're like, Joe,
- 59:44Speaker 4: we got you.
- 59:46Speaker 2: I take this serious. You can see my veins pop
- 59:50Speaker 2: out head over here, and they know him. They know
- 59:53Speaker 2: I'm worse than their coach because their coach, the coach
- 59:56Speaker 2: looks at them like, Yo, this guy's work. I'm telling
- 59:59Speaker 2: them Fagio screaming on nigga, Yo, don't come in you
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: want to be pussy. You take that ship to the bay. Nigga. No,
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: I'm going crazy. And then one day Jay Smith came
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: out there played against us. He might have scored fifteen
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: points in the role like he was cooking. There's when
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: he was on one and I ain't gonna lie. I
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: was in the huddle and I loved Joe Smith. I
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: was like, hurt that nigga. They were like, Yo, what
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: do you mean, come up in there? Hit that. They
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: hit that boy about three four times. The rest of
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: the game. He was shooting three pointers and never come
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: to that basket again. I was like, fuck, that hit him.
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: Hit him. He got to feel that motherfucker. Then we
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: had my brother Raoul. I don't know if you know Raoul.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: My brother Raoul, he wear a big t s JA.
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: So Raoul was a bruiser. He don't even know basketball.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: Send him in there certain games just hacking niggas. He
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: come up in there. He be the only reporter come
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: up in there. The whole team started laughing, like, oh ship,
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: Raoul going there. Hurt the motherfucker. He gonna make a
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: feeling and one, but you're gonna fill that ship. They
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: already know Yo doing this thing in there, man Rick mhonne.
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: It's crazy, that is a fact. Man. Raoul, we used
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: to do a little he had a big tears. We
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: throw the jersey on him. You're going there, Raoul, take
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: the blood out of his head. We had to hit
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: a nigga about three four times. Come back out all right.
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: They know to keep it. You know you ain't doing
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: all that ship against us. That was a great to it.
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: So I wanted to get to what was going on
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: now with the big Big Show, the Big Show, because
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: it's like it was a perfect time and obviously everybody's home,
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: everybody's on I G. And uh, I'm trying to figure
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: did you what made you decide to say? You know what,
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: I'm probably the greatest, one of the greatest storytellers that
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: this game has ever seen. I need to share these
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: stories with the world via I G. What was that process?
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: Like, I've always been one of the greatest storyteller And
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: so when you get somebody like Kanye West calls me
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: just to tell them stories in the studio.
- 1:02:06Speaker 5: And tell me your story, Kanye different tell me your
- 1:02:10Speaker 5: story for you the inspiration right now for Rell.
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: Forrell used to call me to the studio just to
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: be sitting there like yoga. I tell you to drug
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: dealer story. Tell me y'all ship over here about I was.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: I've always been behind the scenes, the best, one of
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: the best. So I give it three. I give Nori,
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: I give IRV Gotti, and I give fat joke.
- 1:02:33Speaker 5: You know, we got thrown there the best story that
- 1:02:36Speaker 5: we've come across personally. I thought you saw music we've
- 1:02:39Speaker 5: come across personal Chris Gotti the same things, dynamic, legendary, No, no,
- 1:02:45Speaker 5: he is.
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: Legendary, but he's not better than Nerve. Herv is the one.
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: I mean, Chris, Chris is, Chris is.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: Yeah, you can hours hours We're told Chris and Erve
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: like you know what I mean. So yeah, that family.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: So you know, we always been the best storytellers. And
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: I've always known that. I've had the ability to have
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: fifty cent just told me that the other day. I've
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: always had the ability to, like, when I tell you something,
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: you can actually see it. That's actually how I've always
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: made my music too, because I always my best friend
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: is in jail for life, right so I always made
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: my music and wonder how he would where would it
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: take him? In his cell Like he could turn on
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: his headphones and he listened, and he feels like he's there.
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: You get what I'm saying. And that's how I've always
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: done my stories. It's like, you know, just to take
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: you there, like you could feel like, y'all, I was
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: really there. That shit crazy. He's explained there, I can
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: see this shit. You know what I'm saying in your
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: own mind. And the big big show was it was
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: COVID really really scared, you know, pre diabetic shit was
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: just killing every fat dude in the world. I knew
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: every diabetic, every scary and stuck home. I wouldn't go outside.
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: I would not go outside, right, And then one day
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: I put on my live and I have fun with
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: Talking Ship and then my daughter and Dre was like,
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: you need to go on again, tom right next day,
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: I know, three days later, we had a show. He
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: was like, Yo, it's the big, big show. It's on
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: every day at eight o'clock. And we got sponsorship. Right,
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: So now that the tour money now becomes sponsor money.
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: In the yeah, I might have made as much money.
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: Maybe perhaps perhaps perhaps I might as I might as
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: equal to my tour money without tourings and home just
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: doing like the big, big show, and that has letter
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: to other things. You know, we Trilla, Wi Wild, Cherry
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: Pepsi Talent show, you know, just led into all this.
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: Like you know, people are like, oh, social media, you
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. So a bunch of a bunch
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: of bads.
- 1:05:09Speaker 4: And the people that watch you, now it's not like, Yo,
- 1:05:11Speaker 4: they know you from music, they know you from this.
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: It's like, this is the personality, this is a show.
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: And there was always a big injustice, you know, to
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: the fans because when I grew up, like you see
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: in my lifestyle, I said, back then when I wentn't
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: even posed for pictures, you know what. I many times
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: I've been next to Tupot Biggie and it was like
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: the wax ship to ask for a pick, like and show.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: Everything at that time was about privacy. I would literally
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: come if I came in here years ago and they
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: was having an advance, I was staying in the corner
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: because I didn't know y'all. Y'all would be like, yo,
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: that's one motherfucker, and I would just sit there and
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: just be like they. It didn't allow us to be
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: our true personality. And as she just went by and
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: through social media, everybody could open up and do a
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: little something. You know how many people just heard my music,
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: but now they see the show and be like, damn,
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: I ain't noticed, dude, that's you're crazy. Man. Do it
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: for a minute, Yeah, it's so. And so it allows
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: me to show you my real personality.
- 1:06:28Speaker 5: Before we ended. I want I want to go on
- 1:06:29Speaker 5: a teachable moment. That's a finance moment. It's an unfortunate moment,
- 1:06:34Speaker 5: but I think people can learn from it. When you
- 1:06:36Speaker 5: went to jail for a couple of months, and from
- 1:06:38Speaker 5: my understanding, correct me if I'm wrong, that's that's financial
- 1:06:40Speaker 5: related because I guess your CPA wasn't paying the taxi.
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: It was the one time I didn't do the crime.
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: I've done many crimes want me to do. I'm not
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: gonna lie to you. That's the one time I did
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: not do the crime. It's the craziest ship in the world.
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: What exactly happened.
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: I had an accountant. Every month, I'm sending them wire transfers, well,
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: wire transfers from your bank account to them is a
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: paper traip. I'm sending them money to pay my taxes
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: and everything every month, you know, twenty five thousand, big money.
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: And one day I go to buy a car, and
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: so I was more embarrassed than anything. So that the
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: guy from the car dealer was like, are you sitting down?
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: And I'm la. Says here, you haven't paid for none
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: of your houses, your mortgages, says here, you haven't paid
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: none of your car notes. Says here. I'm like, are
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: you crazy? Like are you nuts? So I call up
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: the account. When I called him up, he said, don't
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: kill me. Don't kill me. I said, I'll never threatened you, bro,
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: don't kill me, I said, bro, I send you wire
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: transfers every month. It's saying you ain't paying my shit,
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: like are you fucking serious? Like boom. So from that
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: point had to go. I called Pitbull. Pit Bull gave
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: me his account right around here. Who's still my account
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: to this day. When it went there, it was like
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: this is bad, Joe. This man they pay you your
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: taxes in two years. And so, uh, we contacted the
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: IRS and told them, yo, we have an accountant. We
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: got to proof the wire transfers. You know, we want
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: to pay up to date when we alarmed them. And
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: so the next day it came to my house. I
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: was in the studio with court train and my wife
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: calls me a nervous She's like, Joe, the feds are here,
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: Like the feds. You know, I don't know what they
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: so like the Feds. I was like, Yo, put them
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: on the phone. So the guy gets on the phone. Joe,
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: where you at? I said, what you mean? Like, yeah,
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: we want to talk to you. Where you at? I
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: said about what he said? You know these the taxes.
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: I was like, oh, yeah, you know we contacted you.
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: You know my account, we contacted you. He's like, no,
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: this is criminals.
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: So now I'm know stop talking.
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: Once he said it scriminal, I was like, yo, I said,
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: you know what, I'm officer. I'm gonna have lawyer call you.
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: Right after this, he was like, bo where you said? Bro?
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: You in my house, Bro and my family. I can't
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: go nowhere. In fact, Joe and famous, my lawyer'll call you.
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: So my lawyer called them. Long story short, my lawyer
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: met with them and showed them the wider chances of
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: the guy Robbie and didn't pay my ship. And they
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: was like, hey man, we believe Joe as the leader
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: of his household. It's responsible for who he hires. And
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: so instead of trying to really rock him, we're gonna
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: give him two misdemeanors and he can get two years
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: in jail or get probation, pressing luck. So I wound
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: up having already gave this dude the money to pay.
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: So I wound up paying these taxes again that already
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: paid before my court day. So I wound up paying
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: a million in two hundred thousand before I go see
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: the judge. So now I know other people had these problems.
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: They only got probation and never went to jail or whatever.
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: So with the greatest letters you ever heard of your
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: life with the Feds, you won't vouch for him in
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: the FEDS. You won't if you knew he was guilty.
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: You'd be like, yo, bro, you with the sheeps, nobody
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: writes a letter for nobody in the Feds. Nobody. They'd
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: be like, yo, piece of the God, piece of God
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: season when you get home, bro, like I'm gonna hold
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: you down out of him. But yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: I ain't got ship to do with this, because you know,
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: we all know that the Fed you get niggas hot.
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: That's how it happened. You get me high, I get
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: him how you get him stairway right? The letters they
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: wrote for me. I never realized I had donated so
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: much money to people. It was like, so there was
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: a guy when he was in prison. Uh his name
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: is Terrence. When he was in prison, and he uh
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: uh noticed that parents and family could not see their kids,
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: you know, due to they didn't have to travel with it.
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: Long story short, I gave this guy a fucking a
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: bus right ade society hundreds of thousands of hurricanes and
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: fucking Santo Domingo and Haiti hundreds of thousands, like and
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: so all these people were writing letters on my behalf
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: like Yo, this guy's the best. This guy gives back
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: to the schools computers. This guy this I don't know
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: how I went to jail, bro. And so the lady
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: was like, listen, great guy, actually remarkable, and you should
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: do this is what she fucked me up at. But
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: you can't really argue with the judge. Right when you're
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: about to give the turn, she says, you knew your
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: knew wealth should be found with your families and your
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: friends My family was, My friends and family was in
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: the courtroom like three hundred deep. They shut that bitch down.
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: CALLI was in there. Everybody you know, aunts and uncles,
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: you know how you got them aunt and uncles that
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: never leave that crib, that never leave that hood. They
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: was in that motherfucker for me. My family was in
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: there deep. Nigga flew in from Florida, from every the
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: niggas was in there like yo boom. So she was like,
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: I gotta give you this time. So they only gave
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: me four months.
- 1:12:27Speaker 5: But and.
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: When I walked in there because I had paid it off,
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: they had gave me a penalty. So they said it
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: was a penalty. There's nowhere I couldn't cop out if
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: I didn't take this penalty. The penalty was a million too.
- 1:12:45Speaker 5: You paid a million two in taxes and then another
- 1:12:47Speaker 5: million two in a penalty, and you already have to.
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: Mention five hundred thousand for the lawyer and to mention
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: fifty thousand for the the forensic.
- 1:12:56Speaker 5: The money that you already paid previously, that you thought
- 1:12:59Speaker 5: you actually paid happen with that.
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: He just robbed you. Just he was just to taking
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: the money.
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: Bernie made off Ponzi skin. So he wound up telling
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: on a bunch of other motherfuckers that and he got away.
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: Like so, you know, I never heard about him, I
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: never seen.
- 1:13:15Speaker 3: He didn't he didn't get jail turn. I don't think so,
- 1:13:17Speaker 3: I don't even know.
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: They just was like, you can't ask about it, damn,
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: because you know, normally I think you can assume him,
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: like now he's with us, you can't ask protection.
- 1:13:27Speaker 4: On top of the money that you lost for actually
- 1:13:29Speaker 4: being incarcerated, you could have been outside rhythm.
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: So when I come home from jail, because I'm pretty
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: much do everything but sell my asshole to pay these
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: people before I go to sentencing. Right, so when I
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: do four months in jail, I come home, I'm working Africa,
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: the slav poland China. There wasn't a stone on turned.
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: They had the fact Joe Show, Philip Peens like anywhere
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: I was going to get that bad because I'm not
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: used to you know, I'll tell you other the streets
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: is at fourteen, I'm not used to my money being low.
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: I'm not used to my family ever asking one thing.
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: I can say, God bless my family never realized that
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: we had a problem. Wife was still getting burking bags.
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: You know, my daughter was still going to private school,
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: my son to private college. I was bussing my ass
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: to make sure everybody. So at the end of this year,
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: so I do four months when I go to the
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: eighth month, I mean eight months later to do my taxes.
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: They congratulations, you had a hell of a year last year.
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: You made a million two. I said, I made a
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: million two. I'm broke. What are you talking about? You
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: made a million too. You just paid us, so now
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: you got to you gotta pay the half on that.
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: So it's just like a spiral. It never ending, never
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: ever didn't thank God, when all the way up came out,
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: it wasn't like I was all the way up. I
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: made sure they was all the way up. So the
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: first thing I do I was a taking no money.
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: I wasn't. I was just saving Boom came to them
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: with that penalty one point two million. Now I'm a
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: free man. Now now I'm gonna give me the funk alone,
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: you know, and I've been great, thank God, ever since.
- 1:15:13Speaker 4: I can't end on that though, because I mean that
- 1:15:15Speaker 4: that story is crazy, but we got to end on
- 1:15:17Speaker 4: something else. You've been consistent and that's your fresh being fly.
- 1:15:21Speaker 4: I mean, you don't miss a day.
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: I told you.
- 1:15:26Speaker 3: I told you Detroit Red cleaned up.
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: I mean I go in stores and I'm just like, yo, man,
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: there's no where you finding these sizes. How does Joey
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: krat stays to relish on Instagram styles? Calid? That's what
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: we get in these silk shirts. Now, you know there's
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: different ways, man. You know I've been you know, I
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: used unfortunately it's sad to say, but I used to
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: hustle to buy sneakers and fly. You know, I came
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: out in the ear where everybody was really really fly,
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: and so we always been, you know what I'm saying,
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: risking our lives to be fly. You know what I'm saying.
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: And now that I'm legit and I make enough money
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: to be flying, I mean, you know you are literally
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: going to walk to the casket saying, Yo, he don't
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: play and I don't got a power. I blow the bag.
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: I'm fixing it. I don't like yo. I told you,
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: I told, I said, YO. Wife looked at YO. She
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: like that was a burning bag on my She said,
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: that's her mass silk. That pink silk is different. I said, yo.
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: I don't know where you get any clothes like that
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: Fendy ship. This linen I got her mass sneakers on.
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: I'm like, I love it. I dress up for anything.
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: During COVID, I was coming downstairs to my house for
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: the second floor to the first I was coming down
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: with the with the get fresh for no reason.
- 1:16:53Speaker 3: That's how I cam. He was like my man on
- 1:16:56Speaker 3: house arrest, get him fly and you don't care in
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: the house.
- 1:16:58Speaker 5: He's fresh, like about to some cereal media dress just
- 1:17:02Speaker 5: cause just to watch, just to fresh, you know what
- 1:17:06Speaker 5: I'm saying.
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: I wanted to welcome Y'll to Miami with his ship
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: because I'm in Miami. But uh, you know New York.
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: I know how to pull all a pair of TEMs
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: and fly hoodie.
- 1:17:20Speaker 3: Just don't.
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: They don't.
- 1:17:20Speaker 4: They don't feel the same with this, with this Miami
- 1:17:22Speaker 4: breeze there just feel a little bit better.
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: Yesterday I painted so graffiti writers with sneakers that they
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: know the pain is going to get on. They wear
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: clothes with pain already, like they ain't messing up that
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: artists got jo can fly Yeah yeah at the paintel
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: ship like I'm up in there. They looking at me
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: I know they looking at me like I'm crazy. They're like, yo,
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: this is crazy man, this guy he too much. But
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: I love it. I love it and my whole fly.
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: You can't about being fly. You know. My stylis he's
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: like my brother. You know, my wife's best friend. Like
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: my brother. He's always flying. He should. There's a trick.
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: Let me tell you business watching, there's a trick the stylist.
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: He can give you the ship, but come give it
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: to you. They got some ship on the killing ship.
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: They gave you so you could always feel like, yo,
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: you get that, Torell. Oh God. So I'm gonna tell
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: you what I did for the video. How it got
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: so fly? Right? I said, Yo, Torell, and I picked
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: out you can you can see it in your face, like, yeah,
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: But what happened was I told Torell, I said, I
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: need the outfit you're gonna wear if you were going
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: to a stylist birthday party. Sometimes stylist stylists what I'm saying,
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: my brother, Torell, he'll go to a birthday party of
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: another stylist and walk in there like a fucking alien,
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: like floating with some purple food ship. Yeah, he walks
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: in there and then they're like, damn this dude that
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: I said to her, that's how we got looked at
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: the video. You gotta look like you went to the
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: stylist party styled on that. And I'm glad you because
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: I think and I spent, because I spent a lot
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: of money year, and I'll be thinking nobody.
- 1:19:24Speaker 3: Noticed my man, My man might be shouting key shalking
- 1:19:27Speaker 3: you today.
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: Be my brother from my neighborhood.
- 1:19:29Speaker 3: He just he just styled the shout that might be.
- 1:19:32Speaker 3: That's ironic because he literally just posted a post.
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: He did what he said. It was you, it was
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: you wearing That's that Dapper Dad, That's what that was.
- 1:19:40Speaker 3: Still inspired.
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: That's when Dapper Dad first came home and he was
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: still he wasn't with Gucci yet. Cool that freestyle freestyle,
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: it's a swite, it's a swipe.
- 1:19:54Speaker 3: And then he did the l It was U l
- 1:19:56Speaker 3: l u l l It's like a it's like a swipe,
- 1:19:58Speaker 3: sit swife.
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: Earlier in the morning, could barely feel my face cutting
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: that wrong wrang hammer on my waist, my baby mama stressing.
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: I'm like, get the get the fuck up out my face.
