- 1:19Speaker 1: So did you know that?
- 1:27Speaker 1: This I know.
- 1:30Speaker 1: You know that the JnTex coming in here, former FSU assistant as their D coordinator.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Yeah, Chris Marv.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Yeah, acc number one past Okay.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Is that right?
- 1:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:49Speaker 2: So they just can't stop anybody from running the ball.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, all right, well.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Well, I mean I know Brent Pry is a defensive minded coach.
- 2:01Speaker 2: He was the defensive coordinator up there at Penn State before he took the job with Virginia Tech, so got to imagine he's got a hand in the defense.
- 2:13Speaker 1: But that is surprising man.
- 2:14Speaker 1: They're coming off a big, big home win against Pitt, but it's not the team we thought they were.
- 2:23Speaker 2: No, they look awful.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Pitt, yeah, they yeah, just bad.
- 2:27Speaker 2: But Virginia Tech they looked good.
- 2:30Speaker 2: You know, explosive somewhat.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Yeah, mobile quarterback guy can run.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Always always dangerous, it seems.
- 2:40Speaker 2: The line is at 24 right now, okay, yeah, I mean, you know this is a game.
- 2:50Speaker 2: There isn't an excuse for us not to cover that Really.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, they got beat by Marshall.
- 3:00Speaker 2: You know Rutgers whooped them.
- 3:03Speaker 2: What was it?
- 3:04Speaker 2: 38, 16.
- 3:05Speaker 2: I think Rutgers beat him at home.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Yeah, man, Okay.
- 3:12Speaker 1: So what do you?
- 3:13Speaker 1: What are you?
- 3:13Speaker 1: All right, so it's been a bi-week, FSU is four and oh, but what are some things you want to see cleaned up in terms of?
- 3:24Speaker 2: Well, you know it's interesting that you led with the stat about being number one in past defense.
- 3:29Speaker 2: I think that means you run the football.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Right.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Jordan Travis especially.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Man like I'd like to see you use your legs.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, he needs to run when he has it there.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Hopefully he's healthy.
- 3:43Speaker 2: I want to see it cleaned up at the line of scrimmage so the running backs can actually find holes.
- 3:48Speaker 2: If there are holes I don't know man I want to see him put something on the ground.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Yeah, you do, you know.
- 3:56Speaker 1: You know what you want to see.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Yeah, Listen you don't have to not know.
- 4:00Speaker 1: You can know because this is what you want to see.
- 4:03Speaker 2: I think they've established that they they're going to go deep in the passing game and they will and can have success.
- 4:09Speaker 2: So how about we work on the run game, right, yeah, not to the detriment of the outcome.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Obviously, you know you're going to have to win the game, but I think it's going to be yeah, it's going to be good to be home three straight home games.
- 4:22Speaker 1: It starts Saturday at 3.30.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Yeah, so that's the other thing I'm looking for is the atmosphere, man.
- 4:28Speaker 1: It's, oh, it's going to be electric.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:30Speaker 1: And it's going to be good for this team to have.
- 4:32Speaker 1: They've been on the road and then a bi-week it's been like a damn month since they played.
- 4:38Speaker 2: September was a huge pressure month for the team man they.
- 4:41Speaker 2: You know everything that Clemson and LSU and in the first four weeks so this month they heard about it all season, looking sharp Like.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Are they a dominating team?
- 4:53Speaker 2: Are they?
- 4:54Speaker 2: Are they a team that really is capable of making a run to the playoff?
- 4:57Speaker 2: Because if they are, then they're gonna be able to Dominate these next three weeks.
- 5:01Speaker 2: I know Duke Duke is gonna be tougher on paper than the other two opponents.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Well, that we'll have to see.
- 5:07Speaker 1: I mean that high.
- 5:09Speaker 2: From now.
- 5:10Speaker 2: But this game right here, especially man, Virginia Tech.
- 5:13Speaker 1: I mean, oh my goodness, duke, yeah, they had them, I don't know what.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Elko man, I don't know what you're doing unrealized.
- 5:24Speaker 2: So close, so close.
- 5:28Speaker 2: I you're, duke, you go for it on that fourth down you go for it, I agree.
- 5:34Speaker 1: If you cuz, even if you don't get it, you still have a chance to stop them.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean you know, and then you trust your defense up until fourth and 16.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Well, that's why you go for it.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Yeah, so you know it takes, that's the, that's why you go for it, and that's there.
- 5:53Speaker 1: There's more positive.
- 5:54Speaker 1: You got to weigh it out and I understand he's a defensive guy and you know, so that's yeah, but now he's a head coach and you got a third, you got to think program big turn.
- 6:05Speaker 2: You know Big picture.
- 6:07Speaker 2: We're Duke.
- 6:08Speaker 2: We got a chance right here to win this game against Notre Dame.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Yes.
- 6:13Speaker 2: I know.
- 6:14Speaker 1: I think I got the guy on the field that I write right, if you lose, I mean you can, you can still bank on.
- 6:21Speaker 1: You went for it.
- 6:22Speaker 1: You have confidence in your guy and it's not a conference game.
- 6:25Speaker 1: So you're still undefeated in your conference and you're showing and who knows your quarter?
- 6:29Speaker 1: I don't.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Well, that was unfortunate him getting hurt in the last play, but that was was out of control.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Elko, I mean, I think Mike Elko is a hell of a coach.
- 6:36Speaker 2: He really is you know he arguably the as good a coach as there is in the conference right, I.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Think he should have gone for it.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:46Speaker 2: At least give old Riley Leonard a chance with the lead to ice it.
- 6:50Speaker 2: That clinches it, man right.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Well, I know Mike Norville isn't gonna go for it.
- 6:57Speaker 1: He's not afraid to go for it at any point he sees.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Sometimes I don't know what the hell he's thinking for it.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah well, I mean, he's got faith in his players.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Faith in his players.
- 7:08Speaker 2: I think he and I think a lot of its.
- 7:10Speaker 1: You know stats.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Yeah, he plays the analytics, analytics whatever did.
- 7:15Speaker 2: This isn't a game where it should matter, and I'm like that's, that's what I'm looking for.
- 7:20Speaker 1: I want to see the defense dominate.
- 7:22Speaker 1: I want to see some other wide receivers get involved.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:27Speaker 1: I want to see who's gonna be the, the third wide receiver, if there is going to be one.
- 7:32Speaker 2: I mean that that'd be, that's yeah, all of that when you're playing up with the lead, but but when the starters are in, when it's, you know, first quarter, second quarter, I want to see it Be a dominating game.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Yeah right.
- 7:46Speaker 1: This is.
- 7:47Speaker 2: This is what you see out of teams that can dominate.
- 7:49Speaker 2: They're coming off a bye week.
- 7:50Speaker 2: They know they need to clean things up.
- 7:53Speaker 2: They should be, yeah, oh.
- 7:55Speaker 1: You want to get.
- 7:56Speaker 1: I want to get him the lead up oh yeah, I want to get the lead up man.
- 8:00Speaker 2: I want to see him dominating, so you don't have to see any of the starters in the second half.
- 8:03Speaker 2: I mean I'm ready to see Tate out there.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Rosenbagger, warm up, you're going in.
- 8:10Speaker 2: Exactly, exactly.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Well, I think well, in order to do that, I, you're gonna have to come out defensively and dominate, and that's what I'd like to see.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Yeah, it'd be nice to see that they actually had a game plan for the first half.
- 8:29Speaker 2: They didn't just kind of come in there like hey, make tackles.
- 8:32Speaker 1: What about injury wise I?
- 8:35Speaker 2: Mean Robert Scott's on the depth chart.
- 8:37Speaker 2: It'd be nice if he actually played.
- 8:39Speaker 2: I'll believe it when I see it.
- 8:40Speaker 2: You know there's, depending on where you read and listen, or whatever man like, I don't know how much he's actually even practice, I Think.
- 8:51Speaker 2: I mean you'll see Jaki Douglas back.
- 8:53Speaker 2: Okay, I came down.
- 8:55Speaker 2: I would say he's probably gonna play.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Wow.
- 8:58Speaker 2: I think he's probably you know, but again, it's gonna be fun.
- 9:03Speaker 2: I thought he would go against Clemson and and.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I'm telling you that's gonna, that wins gonna be better and better each week.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think Clemson's losing again.
- 9:14Speaker 2: I said that first that Miami Clemson games gonna be huge.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Yes, yes, there is a ACC's got some big games.
- 9:21Speaker 1: There's some big games this Saturday, man huge games.
- 9:25Speaker 1: There's there's some teams that have a lot of Expectations.
- 9:31Speaker 2: I mean the red, the Red River.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Yeah, that's where that's the biggest one.
- 9:36Speaker 1: You want to pick that first?
- 9:38Speaker 2: Yeah, let's get into it.
- 9:39Speaker 1: I Got Texas you know I don't six and a half.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I got him covering man.
- 9:46Speaker 2: I nobody's really been able to keep them from.
- 9:49Speaker 2: You know they're over 30 all all season.
- 9:51Speaker 2: I Know Venables is kind of rebuilt, the defense and everything, but I just I trust Texas more than I trust Oklahoma hmm, I.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Don't know, though, man.
- 10:04Speaker 2: I mean you know who knows nobody knows except the except for me.
- 10:09Speaker 2: It's it.
- 10:09Speaker 2: I mean, it's one of those games, the Red River, red River, we're average.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I think Oklahoma's gonna come ready.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Yeah, you got him, I got the Sooners.
- 10:21Speaker 1: I think they have Dylan Gabriel who's been flying.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Dylan Gabriel finish the game.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Well, yeah, if he, this is all.
- 10:26Speaker 1: If he stays healthy, you, I think, if they the improved defense yeah, I think this is a game.
- 10:34Speaker 1: I'm taking an upset here.
- 10:35Speaker 1: I Know that I mean I'm gonna pick them to cover and then this little pick them thing, but I would not be surprised if the Sooners pulled off the upset.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Texas has been in, texas will be alright, it's gonna be a great game.
- 10:50Speaker 1: I really, I really looking forward to this game.
- 10:52Speaker 1: I think it's gonna be a classic.
- 10:53Speaker 1: I'd be, I mean, coming up last year.
- 10:56Speaker 1: I would, I mean, I'd be shocked if it's another blowout.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I Degree with that man and I can see where you come in front with Gabriel staying healthy.
- 11:07Speaker 1: I mean Oklahoma.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't see it he may, he's a different.
- 11:11Speaker 1: He's a NFL quarterback.
- 11:12Speaker 2: I think they're gonna really get after him that Texas defense in front.
- 11:17Speaker 1: That's the key.
- 11:17Speaker 1: He had to keep him up and he can't turn the ball over.
- 11:21Speaker 1: If that, if you I mean I know those are huge ifs but if they can do those two things, I think Oklahoma wins this game.
- 11:29Speaker 2: It's a big one.
- 11:30Speaker 1: It's a bit.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Yeah, those are two big ifs.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Okay, all right.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Well, that starts off with a good one.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Let's go to the Big 10.
- 11:35Speaker 1: And this is a sneaky gig game with oh To his little brother they should be ranked.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Yeah, they're not ranked.
- 11:42Speaker 2: They're five and oh, they should be ranked.
- 11:43Speaker 2: I mean, come on.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Well, they're going to the horseshoe.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:48Speaker 1: I mean, here's your game on Fox.
- 11:51Speaker 2: These are the games that Maryland has never really been able to.
- 11:54Speaker 2: It's 20 have success points, 20 points.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Oh, I have stated favorite, I'll take Maryland to cover that.
- 12:01Speaker 2: I think, Ohio State wins.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Hmm, I mean, I Like what locksley's doing, yeah, offensively.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Yeah, whether you do it on the road, keep it close I.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Mean, you know, we'll see, we'll see I know everybody is impressed so far with Ohio State it's defense.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm gonna be honest with you.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Man Like and there's nothing about Notre Dame's office that particularly looks explosive.
- 12:32Speaker 1: I'm with you.
- 12:33Speaker 1: I think Maryland covers.
- 12:35Speaker 1: We'll see here.
- 12:36Speaker 1: I Think I'm with you here.
- 12:38Speaker 1: I think they can get some, I think Ohio.
- 12:40Speaker 2: State's quarterback is underrated.
- 12:41Speaker 2: I mean people are sleeping on what he did up in South Bend at the end of the game, like that took some.
- 12:46Speaker 2: That was huge.
- 12:48Speaker 1: That was huge and I think that's there.
- 12:50Speaker 1: You're gonna see him yeah, step it up in this game in particular.
- 12:53Speaker 1: But I think you're gonna see Maryland answer with some scores as well.
- 12:58Speaker 1: But I think in the end, I think I'll say probably wins by like 17.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, couple scores.
- 13:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna take Maryland to keep it respectable.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Alright, let's move to the SEC and LSU still ranked three and two.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Because people see the talent, I guess, and they see that the offense.
- 13:25Speaker 2: It's better preseason.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Right, they were top five preseason, that's it, yeah, the only reason they honestly they they had no business beating Arkansas.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Hmm.
- 13:35Speaker 1: I don't know man Kelly's on what's going on with the defense there?
- 13:42Speaker 2: you know they lost the defensive line.
- 13:44Speaker 2: What's?
- 13:44Speaker 1: going on with Harold Perkins, you know, because that what are they doing with him?
- 13:48Speaker 1: The move inside was yeah yeah it was.
- 13:53Speaker 2: It was not a good move.
- 13:54Speaker 2: I've seen their defensive coordinators name thrown around for some, some potential head coaching jobs.
- 14:00Speaker 2: I Just think he missed on that coordinator hire.
- 14:03Speaker 2: That defense does not look anything like LSU's defense of the last 10 15 years, like regardless of head, exactly, yeah.
- 14:12Speaker 1: So, and regardless of right now, you can tell like they still have players.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Yeah, they're still telling all over the field.
- 14:18Speaker 1: They're just clueless.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Mason Smith's back.
- 14:20Speaker 2: He's been right this big, you know All-American defensive tackle and they they're not stopping anybody.
- 14:26Speaker 2: No, I don't really see them.
- 14:29Speaker 2: I mean they may have a little bit more success this weekend against Missouri, but it's, it's on the road.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Missouri's another.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Eli drinkowitz.
- 14:39Speaker 2: He's got that little nerdy offense that he runs up there, but he, you know, cook can sling it and Luther burden.
- 14:46Speaker 2: There's nobody on LSU's team that can cover Luther burden.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Well that kid is a problem.
- 14:52Speaker 1: That's a undefeated home dog.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Lsu is getting Six and a half.
- 14:59Speaker 1: No, I got Missouri six.
- 15:01Speaker 2: I got Missouri winning.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Wow, I think I think Brian Kelly is in trouble and it's pretty much all on the defensive side of the ball.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Mmm.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Now watch, they'll come out and well I.
- 15:13Speaker 1: I think their offense is cooking.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Yeah and they've been nothing but Getting better ever since the first game.
- 15:20Speaker 1: I'm going to hold out Because I picked up shoot a win the way I had him in the playoff man.
- 15:29Speaker 1: I think the offense is still gonna keep it rolling.
- 15:35Speaker 1: They just have to clean it up on defense.
- 15:37Speaker 1: I yeah they're gonna be on the road, but you gotta win this game.
- 15:44Speaker 1: You can't lose this one back to that.
- 15:47Speaker 1: You know the defense Keeps Missouri under 40.
- 15:50Speaker 1: They should win.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Yeah, give me the.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Tigers who which ones right?
- 15:58Speaker 1: I was on the.
- 15:59Speaker 1: I'm taking it up there the ones from the bayou bayou.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Tigers yeah, stay the old.
- 16:06Speaker 2: How'd they become the tiger, those?
- 16:08Speaker 1: are times your tigers, I don't know Um, let's go.
- 16:12Speaker 1: All right, let's go to Washington State, ok who they, who they got.
- 16:21Speaker 1: They're going down south Southern California.
- 16:24Speaker 1: They're playing chip Kelly.
- 16:25Speaker 2: Oh, you see a OK, and Well they're getting three and a half points.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Really, I got him covering that, I got him winning outright.
- 16:38Speaker 2: I mean covering you like you, like the quarterback.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Cam Ward.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Yeah, Big, big time, big time.
- 16:43Speaker 2: Fan His transfer from Incarnate Word, I think last year.
- 16:48Speaker 2: But dude, he's, he's really good.
- 16:52Speaker 1: That Oregon State win looks a lot better too, because Oregon State's good.
- 16:56Speaker 2: And they're playing like Washington State's playing.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Pissed off man.
- 16:59Speaker 2: So is Oregon State.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, there's no doubt about teams that didn't like get asked out to the prom.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Yeah, like we're not good enough for any of you guys.
- 17:08Speaker 2: So we're going to come and just and UCLA is one of those you know they want to team dress schools of the pack 12.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Right, and you know, I know Dante more of the freshman QB.
- 17:20Speaker 2: He's going to be good, but now man, not yet.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I'm with you, wazoo.
- 17:25Speaker 1: I think they win this game.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Ok, watch out for Wazoo.
- 17:31Speaker 1: I mean, that would be a really cool story.
- 17:34Speaker 1: I'm kind of rooting for both those teams this year in the past.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Well, I hope they spag everybody.
- 17:39Speaker 1: I mean it's really it would be such a cool story, yeah if one of those teams could make a run, oh shit, if they both met.
- 17:45Speaker 1: And I mean it's possible.
- 17:47Speaker 1: But I mean you're going to find out that team, that mean I, it's going to just cannibalize each other.
- 17:53Speaker 2: But yeah, I mean what, what?
- 17:56Speaker 2: What sucks about is they're on the road for.
- 17:57Speaker 2: This is one of those games.
- 17:59Speaker 1: If it's going to be special though you can, you can win this.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:02Speaker 1: If you're Washington State, yeah, so I mean, I know UCLA got shut down by Utah.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Utah's got a really good defense, especially at Utah, but I'm going to go Washington State in this to get the win as well.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Ok, let's go back to the SEC, and this is a good one, this one, this one might decide the SEC West, with the well you know LSU still in it.
- 18:28Speaker 1: They only have one loss.
- 18:29Speaker 1: It's going to be who knows?
- 18:30Speaker 1: Because everybody plays each other.
- 18:31Speaker 1: But Texas A&M is hosting, yeah, crimson tide, and the tide don't have a loss in conference yet.
- 18:39Speaker 1: No, so either does A&M.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Both have nonconference losses.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Yeah, and this is.
- 18:45Speaker 2: This is a big one for old Jimbo.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Yep, I mean, if he wins this game, I think the seat gets cooled off a lot considerably a lot, because they look a lot better.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean Miami looks a lot better, so that loss isn't a loss doesn't look like it would have last year.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Right, lost Right.
- 19:07Speaker 2: Exactly, exactly.
- 19:07Speaker 2: It is going to be a good game.
- 19:11Speaker 2: I know Mill Rowe is not great, you know he's.
- 19:15Speaker 2: He's good at certain things.
- 19:17Speaker 1: But I'm going to.
- 19:18Speaker 1: I think Jimbo wins, I think A&M gets him.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that I mean it's going to be a good environment in in Texas.
- 19:27Speaker 1: A&m, they look better.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Max Johnson looks better than he did when he got in last year.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Yeah, I think the playmakers that he has.
- 19:36Speaker 1: The recruiting that he's done is starting to show.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Yeah, they're starting to play together.
- 19:43Speaker 2: He always, he always, you, he, the always.
- 19:47Speaker 2: They play there, he's going to.
- 19:48Speaker 2: I got him, I got him winning too.
- 19:50Speaker 1: It's two and a half, so I mean it's not really an upset, but I'm going to take A&M.
- 19:57Speaker 2: I think DJ Durkin is a horrible defensive coordinator, you know not.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Not as bad as Alex Grinch, but close.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Can't turn the ball over Max Johnson.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Yeah, can't.
- 20:09Speaker 1: That is the key.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Yeah, I think, even even with DJ Durkin.
- 20:13Speaker 2: I think A&M has enough athletes on defense to get at least one turnover, maybe multiple, off of Mill Rowe.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Now the road does he?
- 20:23Speaker 2: He does some things really well, but he makes some really questionable even in the winds, even in the winds, just questionable decisions.
- 20:31Speaker 2: And you know how Jimbo is man he'll, he'll get the ball on a turnover and sit on it for seven minutes.
- 20:36Speaker 1: So it's going to be a phone one.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I would look for it to be a lower scoring game.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I agree, I agree.
- 20:43Speaker 2: It's, I got, I got Bob winning it down there, man, old Jay Bob's.
- 20:49Speaker 1: All right.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Well, let's.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Let's go back to the ACC and let's pick the Miami game, because they're hosting the yellow jackets.
- 21:00Speaker 2: They're getting twenty one Mocom.
- 21:02Speaker 2: They might double that.
- 21:04Speaker 1: So you got him covering.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Yeah, georgia Tech is not coming off a buy.
- 21:09Speaker 2: You're coming off a buy.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Georgia Tech just got beat at home by bowling green by 11 points.
- 21:15Speaker 1: All right.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Well, do you think there was any?
- 21:17Speaker 1: Don't think hands that are gonna show up.
- 21:20Speaker 2: What's in this game?
- 21:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know.
- 21:21Speaker 2: It's nice, it's a night game, right, and I kick off 7 pm, it'sa yeah it's.
- 21:26Speaker 1: It's the ACC primetime game.
- 21:28Speaker 2: I think you may see some.
- 21:29Speaker 2: I mean, they're undefeated they.
- 21:32Speaker 1: I see the ACC opener I think you got a.
- 21:34Speaker 1: You got a good chance of them staying there right the fans like maintaining and yeah, you're going to be able to front run kicking the kicking the hell out of Georgia Tech, which they should do right.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Miami's got I.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Think they're gonna cover as well.
- 21:49Speaker 1: I think they.
- 21:50Speaker 1: I think they're good.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Yeah, and they have Three games after this did the danger there is.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Maybe they're looking ahead.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Yeah to next week, you're right, you're right, but the bye week there before.
- 22:02Speaker 1: It's hard to look ahead off of when you coming off a bye.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Yeah this early in the season.
- 22:08Speaker 1: They have to be ready.
- 22:09Speaker 1: But you're right, you're right, I got.
- 22:10Speaker 2: You got UNC and Clemson back to back, though that's that's the only thing.
- 22:14Speaker 2: You got a kind of a double whammy of teams that are gonna be, and now you got Georgia Tech coming off.
- 22:19Speaker 2: The loss, the bowling.
- 22:20Speaker 1: I mean, if you told me that they had a supportive fan base and they were gonna sell it out, I would be right with you.
- 22:25Speaker 1: But just something about those games.
- 22:28Speaker 1: With the fact that it's a night, though, I think that'll help.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:32Speaker 1: Um, I think I agree with you.
- 22:33Speaker 1: A game like this Take my amy just talent Is gonna is gonna get the win right they're just.
- 22:38Speaker 1: They're better than Georgia Tech another, another good game in prime time, another game for the third straight week it's playing a prime time game.
- 22:47Speaker 2: All right, two touchdowns.
- 22:49Speaker 2: There are are they gonna score more than twice.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Louisville this week.
- 22:54Speaker 1: They probably another undefeated ACC team on the road At night.
- 23:02Speaker 2: I wanted, I wanted to believe that Louisville was actually half decent.
- 23:06Speaker 1: I Dude, I know no, no, they have some playmakers.
- 23:11Speaker 2: They got some playmakers.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Their quarterback is a statue back there.
- 23:14Speaker 2: Like you get a little bit of pressure on him and he's going down.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Do you think Notre Dame takes care of business?
- 23:20Speaker 2: I do, I do.
- 23:21Speaker 2: I think that defense is good enough to create a lot of problems for Jack plumber.
- 23:25Speaker 2: Jackie I, you know.
- 23:31Speaker 1: I wouldn't be shocked if there was I mean it's tough to do, those to come up three straight weeks to be at the other teams, like the game of the week kind of thing and this is this will be Louisville's.
- 23:44Speaker 1: You know they'll probably do it blackout or something and To be able to match that three straight weeks Would be impressive if they, if they can pull it off and they have the quarterback to do it, because he's been there for damn near Decade.
- 23:58Speaker 1: So I agree with you.
- 24:00Speaker 1: I think that defense is the difference.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Yeah, give me the fighting Irish as well to cover six and a half, all right.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Next up is Georgia.
- 24:14Speaker 1: We're stoopsy, oh poopsie.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Yeah, big win against the Gators, but they're going to Athens.
- 24:25Speaker 2: On the road.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Yeah, man, what's the, what's the spread in that?
- 24:30Speaker 1: 14 and a half Really.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Mm, hmm, I'm going to say Kentucky covers.
- 24:36Speaker 2: I think Georgia wins.
- 24:37Speaker 2: I don't think, I don't think you can get them but I think they can cover.
- 24:41Speaker 1: Mm, hmm.
- 24:42Speaker 2: I like that defense.
- 24:43Speaker 2: I mean it's, it's stoop.
- 24:44Speaker 2: I know he knows that the only way Georgia is really going to beat him is getting Brock Bowers the ball, like everybody knows that.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:54Speaker 2: I see like a 27, 14, 27, 17 type of game in.
- 25:00Speaker 1: I think Georgia wins big.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Putting it on him.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I think they're just waiting to bust out there at home.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe I mean have they busted out yet what's there?
- 25:18Speaker 2: What's there?
- 25:18Speaker 2: No, they haven't.
- 25:19Speaker 2: I don't know if they have the explosive in that offense.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Unless they just yeah, we'll see you give it to Brock Bowers.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Every play I eventually, you know that guy's going to wear out.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Well, I think, in the same regard, georgia's going to shut down that running game.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't, I don't.
- 25:35Speaker 2: Yeah, and I think they make Devon Leary, try BGM.
- 25:40Speaker 1: Right.
- 25:41Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 25:42Speaker 1: That's where I'm going.
- 25:43Speaker 1: I think Georgia gets it right.
- 25:45Speaker 1: All right, let's see.
- 25:48Speaker 1: We got probably not even more games to pick.
- 25:55Speaker 1: We had to go, but we'll do NFL tomorrow.
- 26:04Speaker 2: League yeah, yeah, yeah, man See if I can.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Yeah, you know no, no.
- 26:11Speaker 2: I'm picking losers from now on everybody.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Yeah, oh Florida is playing.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Who are they playing?
- 26:17Speaker 1: They're playing Vanderbilt oh.
- 26:21Speaker 2: So in Gainesville.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah 18 and a half.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean they should cover that I think they cover.
- 26:27Speaker 2: If not Billy, Billy Butts is I think they went big.
- 26:33Speaker 1: I think they're a lot better at home.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Yeah, it's unquestionable.
- 26:37Speaker 1: They went home, they lose on the road Right and beat anybody at home and just one of those environments when it gets rolling kind of like Death Valley yeah.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Yeah, where calls magically seem to Right.
- 26:52Speaker 2: I asked Tennessee about that.
- 26:55Speaker 1: Yeah, Syracuse, North Carolina UNC is getting eight.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Syracuse is getting eight and a half.
- 27:06Speaker 2: On the road in.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Chapel Hill.
- 27:08Speaker 2: UNC went big.
- 27:09Speaker 2: I was a believer in Syracuse and they're just same old cues man.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Then they come rolling into town, right.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Yeah, syracuse will be coming here.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Man, they got a.
- 27:23Speaker 2: How about that three game stretch?
- 27:25Speaker 2: Yeah, here's Trader, he's 34 years old.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Well, I think that was more of Clemson showing up.
- 27:34Speaker 1: They weren't going to be on three.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Well, Syracuse, if they're going to get one, it's going to be this one.
- 27:43Speaker 2: You hope so.
- 27:43Speaker 2: I think they cover.
- 27:44Speaker 1: You don't want to happen the next one I think they cover, I think they give UNC a scare.
- 27:48Speaker 1: Unc wins, but Syracuse, give me Syracuse with the eight and a half.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, all right, that's all.
- 27:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think I'm going to pick that.
- 28:03Speaker 1: I don't want to row the boat, sorry.
- 28:07Speaker 2: No, it doesn't care about Minnesota anymore.
- 28:09Speaker 2: I want to see Destin Hill.
- 28:10Speaker 1: get the damn ball this Saturday, it'd be nice man yeah.
- 28:13Speaker 1: I want to see some big plays, some big runs, some sack fumbles, but we'll watch it and we'll talk about it.
- 28:21Speaker 1: We got the NFL picks tomorrow and we'll talk to you next time, right here on the North Florida Sports Network.
- 28:29Speaker 1: We had to go.
