Historical Traumas & Other Heavy Themes (Last of the Mohicans, 12 Years a Slave, & The Prestige)
The week on the pod, we watch some movies with heavy themes and some are difficult to watch in moments. Since we had both already seen The Prestige, we were looking forward to the rewatch to see if the film still holds up. While we couldn’t necessarily say anything negative about the acting or the look of the film, we didn’t think it hit as hard since we already knew the surprise twist at the end.
