- 0:00Speaker 1: The Chemist Warehouse half-price cosmetic sale is on now.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Stock up and save on your favourite beauty brands.
- 0:07Speaker 3: Half-price now at Chemist Warehouse. Nothing like starting at $ 5.
- 0:10Speaker 4: 58.
- 0:10Speaker 3: Good morning. We're early.
- 0:13Speaker 2: We're premature.
- 0:14Speaker 3: I've been that before. Yeah, you are on Kiss Breakfast, Mikey.
- 0:20Speaker 3: Amy Girard for Chemist Warehouse. Yes, good morning.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Good morning.
- 0:25Speaker 3: What's going on?
- 0:27Speaker 2: Oh, listen, I had a few reds last night.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Oh, did you?
- 0:30Speaker 5: I try not to drink during the week because of radio.
- 0:32Speaker 3: I do.
- 0:33Speaker 5: Nah, I'm okay on a Friday night, but during the week,
- 0:37Speaker 5: the problem for me is.
- 0:39Speaker 2: I really struggle to just have one.
- 0:40Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Normally, if I do, sometimes it'll just be like a
- 0:44Speaker 2: glass of red with dinner.
- 0:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 0:46Speaker 5: But we had our dinner last night and Ryan had
- 0:48Speaker 5: opened this really nice bottle of red. I should find
- 0:50Speaker 5: out what it is. But I was like, wow, that
- 0:52Speaker 5: is so nice.
- 0:53Speaker 2: It was like a Malbec.
- 0:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Something different.
- 0:55Speaker 5: And then we sat down on the couch and we
- 0:57Speaker 5: watched Mobland, current favourite show.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Have you got into it? No, I haven't. What streaming
- 1:02Speaker 3: one's that on?
- 1:03Speaker 7: It's on.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Amazon Prime.
- 1:07Speaker 3: Yeah, another one. Yeah.
- 1:08Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:09Speaker 2: It is sensational. Tom Hardy.
- 1:11Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:12Speaker 6: It's the best.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Season two.
- 1:13Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:14Speaker 2: You know what else I got yesterday?
- 1:15Speaker 7: What?
- 1:17Speaker 2: I'm just going to try and pull it up here.
- 1:18Speaker 5: So obviously I put a video of you up saying
- 1:21Speaker 5: that you love warm liquid down your throat.
- 1:24Speaker 3: You did write that as a caption. I was drinking
- 1:26Speaker 3: a coffee.
- 1:27Speaker 5: Yeah, out of a cup that said grinders on it.
- 1:30Speaker 5: So it was a little bit of tongue in cheek.
- 1:32Speaker 3: Oh, you got the joke.
- 1:33Speaker 2: A little bit inappropriate.
- 1:34Speaker 5: And I got some laughing emojis from someone that we
- 1:38Speaker 5: both used to go to school with.
- 1:40Speaker 2: So Mikey and myself, we used to go to the
- 1:43Speaker 2: same school.
- 1:43Speaker 3: Were you a year below?
- 1:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I was a year below.
- 1:46Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:47Speaker 2: And so obviously I know a few of your exes.
- 1:51Speaker 2: High school exes.
- 1:53Speaker 5: One in particular has been emojiing some of the videos
- 1:58Speaker 5: I've posted. And I wrote back to her and I wrote, wait,
- 2:01Speaker 5: didn't you used to date him?
- 2:03Speaker 3: Oh, God, here we go.
- 2:03Speaker 5: And she goes, yes, yes, I did. However, he cheated
- 2:07Speaker 5: on me when he went on schoolies.
- 2:10Speaker 2: And I was like, wow.
- 2:13Speaker 5: I said, oh, my God, what a dirty dog. I'll
- 2:17Speaker 5: give him an uppercut for you tomorrow.
- 2:19Speaker 3: Oh, come on, uppercut.
- 2:20Speaker 2: She came, I will.
- 2:21Speaker 5: She did say that you had lots of fun together
- 2:23Speaker 5: and that you used to drive around with, this stacks up.
- 2:28Speaker 5: With Enrique Iglesias, Don't Turn Out the Lights, cranked at
- 2:33Speaker 5: full volume.
- 2:34Speaker 3: I was being ironic. Yeah, I remember that. Oh, no,
- 2:38Speaker 3: I quite like that song. I like Enrique.
- 2:39Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:40Speaker 2: You like Kylie Minogue. Yeah, yeah. And then I said
- 2:46Speaker 2: the bit about how I was going to give you
- 2:47Speaker 2: an uppercut.
- 2:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:48Speaker 2: And then she said.
- 2:50Speaker 5: This is hilarious. I actually do love listening to you guys.
- 2:53Speaker 5: Brings back so many good memories. Feels like I'm right
- 2:55Speaker 5: back at 16 years old. Yeah.
- 2:57Speaker 2: You can also remind him that he lost a dreadlock.
- 3:01Speaker 5: On my lounge the first time he ever came over.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Yeah, you start dreadies. Yuck. Yeah.
- 3:06Speaker 5: She said, I've kept it all these years waiting for
- 3:09Speaker 5: the right time to make a voodoo doll out of it.
- 3:12Speaker 3: That's weird.
- 3:13Speaker 2: I think she's joking. Oh, right, yeah. She said he
- 3:15Speaker 2: was actually a really good boyfriend.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Say.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Used to take her.
- 3:19Speaker 5: Brother out on dates to putt-putt golf, which was really cute.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Dot, dot, dot.
- 3:27Speaker 9: Till he cheated.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Can I just say, I didn't.
- 3:30Speaker 2: Yeah, right. She accused me. You went to schoolies and
- 3:33Speaker 2: you played up.
- 3:34Speaker 10: This is a long time ago, obviously. But I remember
- 3:37Speaker 10: going there with a mate and he was single. I
- 3:39Speaker 10: went with all my mates. And he was hooking in
- 3:41Speaker 10: with this girl. And there was this other girl.
- 3:43Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:43Speaker 3: Hanging around. Oh, yes.
- 3:45Speaker 2: Oh, there's just the two boys hanging out with the
- 3:47Speaker 2: two girls. You did nothing.
- 3:49Speaker 3: I swear I didn't.
- 3:50Speaker 10: I remember she bloody broke up with me and I'm
- 3:52Speaker 10: like telling her, I didn't cheat on you.
- 3:54Speaker 3: And I'm still arguing this case 20 years later. I
- 3:57Speaker 3: don't care, but I didn't. All right.
- 4:01Speaker 2: But you can't prove it, right?
- 4:02Speaker 3: She can't prove I did.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Well, she obviously got, where there's smoke, there's fire.
- 4:07Speaker 3: No, who cares? I was 17. I feel like I
- 4:11Speaker 3: believe you, Mikey.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Do you?
- 4:13Speaker 6: Oh, please. No, look, I'm not just jumping on his side.
- 4:15Speaker 11: I just feel like after all that time, you'd probably
- 4:18Speaker 11: just go, oh, yeah, it happened.
- 4:20Speaker 6: But you're not.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Well, yeah, who cares, right?
- 4:21Speaker 2: No, he can't remember. He can't remember.
- 4:26Speaker 3: No, I didn't.
- 4:27Speaker 2: He was like, I didn't cheat on schoolies. It was
- 4:29Speaker 2: the weekend before that.
- 4:32Speaker 9: Anyway.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Hey, Sean, what's going on? Yeah, yeah, say hi to
- 4:35Speaker 3: her for me. What's going on?
- 4:37Speaker 11: Yeah, so OpenAI obviously runs ChatGPT.
- 4:41Speaker 10: You're just looking at, we won't say what it is
- 4:44Speaker 10: because it's a surprise, but making a PDF, incredible.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Oh, I am so impressed.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Like I just gave it a few prompts and it
- 4:52Speaker 3: spat out this poster.
- 4:53Speaker 5: Mikey just showed me something on his phone. He's made
- 4:56Speaker 5: something for somebody. And I was like, wow, that looks
- 4:59Speaker 5: so good.
- 4:59Speaker 3: An apology letter to my ex-girlfriend.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, he just showed me it was
- 5:06Speaker 2: done through ChatGPT.
- 5:07Speaker 3: It's so good.
- 5:08Speaker 6: It can do everything.
- 5:08Speaker 11: That's the problem, I think, at the moment because they
- 5:11Speaker 11: want to roll out this GPT 6.1, which is just
- 5:14Speaker 11: the next update, and they've pulled that back. They said
- 5:17Speaker 11: this is the official– they're saying it's struggled to stay
- 5:20Speaker 11: in the scope of tasks.
- 5:22Speaker 3: That's the official line.
- 5:23Speaker 11: But I think what they're trying to say is that,
- 5:25Speaker 11: you know, it's starting to just think for itself and
- 5:28Speaker 11: do whatever it wants. And obviously we had in Australia–
- 5:32Speaker 11: this rogue AI agent, which isn't a person, it's just
- 5:35Speaker 11: this AI thing, that broke into Australian government websites earlier
- 5:38Speaker 11: this year.
- 5:39Speaker 3: I know, and we're all freaking out, but you realise, like,
- 5:41Speaker 3: we can just pull the plug out. Oh, you didn't
- 5:43Speaker 3: hear about that? Oh, I broke into Medicare, who cares?
- 5:46Speaker 3: But you know what I mean? Everyone's like, oh, AI's
- 5:47Speaker 3: going to take over the world. Just turn the bloody
- 5:49Speaker 3: server off. Reset it. Control-Alt-Delete.
- 5:53Speaker 5: I reckon it's infiltrated every single app. You don't even
- 5:57Speaker 5: know how deep it's gone.
- 5:59Speaker 2: It is so... It is wild how clever it is.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Like I don't even use Google or anything anymore. I
- 6:07Speaker 2: just go straight to chat. You can ask it anything.
- 6:10Speaker 5: I can ask it about like past health records and
- 6:13Speaker 5: it will go back on this date, blah, blah, blah.
- 6:15Speaker 3: You had a skin check and it was blah, blah, blah.
- 6:17Speaker 3: And I'm like, what? Do you pay for that? I
- 6:19Speaker 3: think I pay $ 20 a month or something.
- 6:20Speaker 2: I pay $ 24 a month or something.
- 6:22Speaker 3: The paid version is much better. No, I'm all for it.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Bring it on.
- 6:25Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Take over the world. What else is going on?
- 6:27Speaker 11: One of the largest studies of screen time has revealed
- 6:30Speaker 11: its impact on child development.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 6:32Speaker 11: So this Canadian university finding a high use of tech
- 6:36Speaker 11: activities like gaming and social media can affect language development.
- 6:39Speaker 5: Yep.
- 6:39Speaker 11: Emotional regulation and academic achievement.
- 6:42Speaker 10: Well, Amy, not everyone will know. You don't let your
- 6:45Speaker 10: boys on screens at all, right?
- 6:47Speaker 3: Is that the rule?
- 6:48Speaker 2: My boys don't have iPads, yeah.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:51Speaker 5: So they will watch TV and they've cracked the bloody–
- 6:57Speaker 5: I don't know how they do it. You know, like
- 6:58Speaker 5: kids always seem to be one step ahead of parents
- 7:01Speaker 5: when it comes to technology. So I normally have a
- 7:04Speaker 5: YouTube password on my TV.
- 7:06Speaker 3: And Just keep talking. Yeah.
- 7:09Speaker 5: But they seem to have cracked that. But they will,
- 7:11Speaker 5: when they do spend some time in front of the TV,
- 7:14Speaker 5: they'll watch YouTube clips.
- 7:15Speaker 3: Yeah, but they're not picking up phones or iPads.
- 7:17Speaker 5: No, my biggest issue with my boys, they actually did
- 7:21Speaker 5: have them at one point. I'd bought them secondhand ones
- 7:23Speaker 5: and I very quickly realised that Some kids are fine
- 7:27Speaker 5: with it. My daughter has one and she watches like
- 7:30Speaker 5: her dance mom shows and she chats to her friends,
- 7:33Speaker 5: but my boys just physically can't have it. Like they
- 7:35Speaker 5: cannot regulate themselves. There's something about holding a screen so
- 7:39Speaker 5: close to their faces. And I was talking to this,
- 7:43Speaker 5: you know, parenting educator, she's a social worker and she's like,
- 7:45Speaker 5: it's okay to have different rules for different kids. Like
- 7:48Speaker 5: some kids are fine with it and you can set
- 7:51Speaker 5: boundaries and they're fine with those boundaries. And then other kids,
- 7:53Speaker 5: they just, they're maybe of an age where they can't
- 7:56Speaker 5: take it.
- 7:56Speaker 3: And the boys just can't. Is it a gender thing?
- 8:00Speaker 5: No, it's not a gender thing at all because I've
- 8:02Speaker 5: got girlfriends who have sons and they're fine. I can
- 8:04Speaker 5: say to Charlie, hey, put your iPad down. She'll put
- 8:06Speaker 5: it down and get on with the day. I can't
- 8:09Speaker 5: do that with my boys. They will kick and scream
- 8:11Speaker 5: and carry on and they're having like a, An exorcism
- 8:14Speaker 5: on the floor.
- 8:15Speaker 2: So I was just like, no, we're done.
- 8:16Speaker 3: Fair enough. Okay. Well, it won't be a problem for
- 8:19Speaker 3: your kids.
- 8:19Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 8:20Speaker 11: One more big one around today. Aussie travellers, they're flocking
- 8:23Speaker 11: to Asian airlines. This is all because of the conflict
- 8:26Speaker 11: in the Middle East. So, you know, China Eastern, for example,
- 8:31Speaker 11: has seen a 278% boost in, I think it was
- 8:34Speaker 11: just a three-month period this year.
- 8:36Speaker 6: So Aussie travellers are just going, you know what? I
- 8:38Speaker 6: want to go with those ones because it's a different path.
- 8:41Speaker 6: Or I just want to go and check out China,
- 8:43Speaker 6: you know?
- 8:43Speaker 3: Yeah, but the thing is people are afraid for a
- 8:45Speaker 3: while there that they could get, like, bombed or whatever
- 8:47Speaker 3: if you flew through the Middle East.
- 8:49Speaker 11: No.
- 8:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 8:50Speaker 5: I flew, when we went to Italy, I flew Qatar
- 8:53Speaker 5: Airways and we went to Doha.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Didn't even think of it?
- 8:57Speaker 5: Well, no, it's funny because Ryan, the whole reason I
- 8:59Speaker 5: went was because Ryan was going for a work trip
- 9:02Speaker 5: and they were originally doing that trip as well. They
- 9:04Speaker 5: were flying Qatar via Doha, which is why I looked
- 9:08Speaker 5: at that airline for my flights. But then with everything
- 9:11Speaker 5: going on, the whole company shifted onto Singapore.
- 9:14Speaker 3: Airlines, which was fantastic.
- 9:17Speaker 2: It's so much more expensive. And I was like, I'm
- 9:19Speaker 2: doing Qatar. No issues.
- 9:22Speaker 3: Well, yeah. So if you want a cheap discount, fly
- 9:24Speaker 3: through the Middle East at the moment.
- 9:26Speaker 6: Sure.
- 9:27Speaker 3: Well, it would be cheap.
- 9:28Speaker 5: Doha Airport is one of the most sensational airports I've
- 9:33Speaker 5: ever visited.
- 9:34Speaker 3: What's so good about it? Oh, it's just.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Everything. There's a bloody rainforest in the middle of it.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Oh, that's mental.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Yeah, it's beautiful.
- 9:40Speaker 3: So you actually liked an airport?
- 9:42Speaker 5: Yeah, I actually liked an airport. Had a little nap
- 9:45Speaker 5: in there and everything.
- 9:46Speaker 3: Tradie versus lady time, where we just get a lady
- 9:50Speaker 3: and we get a tradie. Let's get into it.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Morning, Jasmine.
- 9:53Speaker 9: Hello.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Hello.
- 9:56Speaker 2: How are you?
- 9:57Speaker 12: Thank you how are.
- 9:58Speaker 13: You that's good i'm good thanks you work in hr
- 10:02Speaker 13: yeah you're on your way to work now yes and
- 10:06Speaker 13: you've got four kids all under nine.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Oh yes that's right you plan all four of them
- 10:14Speaker 2: Not the fourth one.
- 10:16Speaker 12: And that just kind of happened. So that was it.
- 10:19Speaker 2: You know what, though? Have you found having four?
- 10:23Speaker 5: So you know how that whole saying, one's one, two's two,
- 10:26Speaker 5: three's like 400, and then anything after three, it kind
- 10:30Speaker 5: of doesn't make a difference?
- 10:30Speaker 3: Have you found.
- 10:31Speaker 12: That to be the case? No, I think that's a lie.
- 10:34Speaker 2: No, that's a lie.
- 10:34Speaker 12: Because you've still got to prepare for the extra kid.
- 10:37Speaker 12: You've still got to get them out of the door,
- 10:39Speaker 12: get them dressed, get them ready. It's extra time for them.
- 10:41Speaker 3: Do you reckon the fourth gets forgotten?
- 10:43Speaker 2: Well, I've got.
- 10:44Speaker 12: That's true.
- 10:45Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 10:46Speaker 6: I've got three.
- 10:46Speaker 12: The amount of times I have left my fourth behind
- 10:48Speaker 12: at places just because... Like, even at school pick-up, when
- 10:53Speaker 12: I've had to go get the kids from school and
- 10:55Speaker 12: I've lugged the fourth one with me and just gone
- 10:57Speaker 12: to the car and then someone's called me from school
- 10:59Speaker 12: and said I think you're forgetting a child yeah.
- 11:03Speaker 5: I remember my youngest I used to like unpack the
- 11:05Speaker 5: car I'd get the kids out or so I thought
- 11:07Speaker 5: unpack the groceries and then I was like shit where's
- 11:09Speaker 5: Kobe and then I just find him he's still in
- 11:11Speaker 5: his car seat so you forget the last one Yeah,
- 11:14Speaker 5: I feel like I really lent in a parent. I
- 11:16Speaker 5: was a great parent for one, juggling with two, and
- 11:19Speaker 5: then the third I feel like has just raised itself.
- 11:21Speaker 5: So I can only imagine your fourth child. He or
- 11:24Speaker 5: she will probably be the most independent though.
- 11:26Speaker 12: Yes, yes, she is.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Oh, good, good on her. And so you drive an Audi.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Do you let your kids read in the car?
- 11:34Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 11:35Speaker 12: Yeah, I say no, but sometimes.
- 11:38Speaker 2: It's a battle.
- 11:38Speaker 5: You need to shut them up, right? I used to say, no,
- 11:41Speaker 5: my kids will never be eating in the car. And
- 11:43Speaker 5: my kids, you, you.
- 11:44Speaker 3: I have white leather seats. No kids eating in that car.
- 11:48Speaker 2: You say that.
- 11:49Speaker 3: I don't even eat in my car.
- 11:50Speaker 2: Sorry, you have white leather in your car?
- 11:52Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 11:52Speaker 3: Have you seen it?
- 11:54Speaker 12: White?
- 11:55Speaker 2: Actual white?
- 11:56Speaker 3: Yeah, like as white as this piece of paper here.
- 11:58Speaker 3: I love it.
- 11:58Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 11:59Speaker 2: That is so camp.
- 12:00Speaker 6: And you don't eat in your own car?
- 12:02Speaker 14: Nah.
- 12:02Speaker 10: So if I go to Macca's, for example, and I
- 12:04Speaker 10: rarely do, but I'd pull into the car park and
- 12:06Speaker 10: actually go into the restaurant. I don't like the smell
- 12:09Speaker 10: and then all the grease and I'm very detailed with
- 12:13Speaker 10: my car, yeah.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Yeah, there's something going on there.
- 12:15Speaker 3: But how do you think white leather and kids will go?
- 12:18Speaker 7: Oh, no.
- 12:18Speaker 6: Terrible.
- 12:18Speaker 2: You can't have anything nice.
- 12:20Speaker 12: Just be a kid. You can't have anything nice.
- 12:21Speaker 2: You can't have anything nice.
- 12:24Speaker 3: I'll have to trade it in and get a fabric.
- 12:26Speaker 3: Remember cars that had fabric?
- 12:27Speaker 5: I actually think leather is better because you can clean it.
- 12:31Speaker 3: But get black leather.
- 12:32Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Oh, just even that. Then you get yogurt stains.
- 12:35Speaker 5: Anyway, so you call yourself the world's best PI. And
- 12:42Speaker 5: I think all us women have this in us. And
- 12:45Speaker 5: I like to think of myself as quite a good
- 12:47Speaker 5: private investigator as well. But tell me what you found.
- 12:52Speaker 12: So my best friend kept telling me that every time
- 12:55Speaker 12: her and a partner of three years would argue, he
- 12:57Speaker 12: would just ghost her. So he went from not talking
- 12:59Speaker 12: to her for a week to two weeks. And I said,
- 13:01Speaker 12: that's not right. He would not reply to a message,
- 13:03Speaker 12: wouldn't answer a call, but they're still together. And he
- 13:07Speaker 12: had always implied they were still together, right? So I
- 13:10Speaker 12: just had this... weird gut feeling that he's doing something shady. Anyways,
- 13:15Speaker 12: and I just said to her, it's not right. And
- 13:16Speaker 12: then I was scrolling on Facebook and this group came up.
- 13:19Speaker 12: It's called Sis, Is This Your Man? And I was
- 13:21Speaker 12: curious to post him. So I went behind her back
- 13:23Speaker 12: and because I had photos on her social media, I
- 13:26Speaker 12: took a photo of him and posted it on there.
- 13:28Speaker 12: Sure enough, A girl contacted me and said she had
- 13:31Speaker 12: just gone away with him for about five days interstate
- 13:35Speaker 12: while they were not talking.
- 13:37Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 13:37Speaker 12: So I sent her that message and that's how she
- 13:39Speaker 12: found out he was cheating on her.
- 13:41Speaker 2: Well, you know what?
- 13:42Speaker 5: I'm on that Sis, Is This Your Man page purely
- 13:45Speaker 5: just for the tea.
- 13:46Speaker 9: Why?
- 13:47Speaker 2: It is such a clever- It's the goth, hey?
- 13:49Speaker 12: It's crazy.
- 13:50Speaker 5: Yeah, it's good, but it's also really clever and smart
- 13:53Speaker 5: of women. If we bind together, no man can get
- 13:56Speaker 5: away with doing dumb shit.
- 13:58Speaker 3: Put a photo of me up.
- 14:00Speaker 10: I want to see if anyone claims because I'm not
- 14:02Speaker 10: doing anything, but I think it'd be funny because surely
- 14:05Speaker 10: there's women on there that just lie and go, yeah,
- 14:06Speaker 10: I'm banging that guy.
- 14:08Speaker 8: No.
- 14:08Speaker 12: No, because she had photos.
- 14:09Speaker 15: She had photos.
- 14:11Speaker 12: She sent photos through, yeah, while they were away.
- 14:13Speaker 3: So you caught him. So did your friend leave him
- 14:16Speaker 3: or did she side with him?
- 14:19Speaker 12: Uh, so she got back with him, but now they're
- 14:24Speaker 12: not together anymore. Now I can say that, but they
- 14:26Speaker 12: went through a cycle where they just, she couldn't get
- 14:29Speaker 12: over it to be honest. And they kept arguing over it,
- 14:32Speaker 12: but he was still doing it to her with other girls.
- 14:35Speaker 15: So he was.
- 14:36Speaker 12: Like a serial cheater. And then the most recent one,
- 14:39Speaker 12: like that was the end for her was, His daughter
- 14:43Speaker 12: went through his phone on Snapchat and found messages from
- 14:46Speaker 12: another girl and told her about it. And that was, like,
- 14:48Speaker 12: it for her. So he was a serial cheater.
- 14:50Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 14:51Speaker 8: So, yeah.
- 14:51Speaker 2: So she absolutely dodged a bullet there.
- 14:54Speaker 7: Mm-hmm.
- 14:54Speaker 12: Yes.
- 14:55Speaker 5: Isn't it so hard, though, when you're really trying to
- 14:57Speaker 5: help out a girlfriend and be like, hey, your man
- 15:00Speaker 5: is full-blown having affairs and cheating on you, and then
- 15:04Speaker 5: they just stay?
- 15:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:05Speaker 12: You have a gut feeling, and you just know.
- 15:08Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 15:09Speaker 12: And then you find that, and you're like, oh, my God,
- 15:10Speaker 12: I was right.
- 15:11Speaker 3: Why bother helping out? Because they rarely listen to you.
- 15:14Speaker 3: And then they turn on you.
- 15:15Speaker 5: I've been in that exact position where I caught a
- 15:18Speaker 5: friend of mine's partner full-blown sleeping with another girl.
- 15:21Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 15:22Speaker 2: And then I end up telling her and then she
- 15:24Speaker 2: got rid of me as a mate.
- 15:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:25Speaker 8: And I was like, what?
- 15:27Speaker 2: I'm trying to help you out here.
- 15:28Speaker 3: Just don't help anyone. There's no point.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Well, no, not when it's your best mate.
- 15:32Speaker 5: Anyway, I think you did the right thing, Jasmine, and, yeah,
- 15:36Speaker 5: I'm glad that she's not together with him now.
- 15:39Speaker 7: All right.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Yeah. Weighing in at.
- 15:41Speaker 5: 62 kgs, do-do-do-do-do, Inspector Jasmine.
- 15:47Speaker 7: Oh.
- 15:49Speaker 2: You were meant to play the music.
- 15:50Speaker 3: I am.
- 15:51Speaker 2: Yeah. There we go.
- 15:54Speaker 3: I remember that as a kid.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Inspector Jasmine.
- 15:58Speaker 3: Didn't they make a movie?
- 16:01Speaker 5: Yes, they did.
- 16:02Speaker 2: They did make a movie, yeah.
- 16:03Speaker 6: I don't know who was in it.
- 16:04Speaker 13: They did.
- 16:04Speaker 6: Inspector Jasmine.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Inspector Jasmine. It was with the long arms, right?
- 16:12Speaker 7: All right.
- 16:12Speaker 2: We can stop now.
- 16:13Speaker 3: Oh, wow. Gadget girl.
- 16:16Speaker 6: Mikey loves it.
- 16:17Speaker 3: It just reminds me of my childhood. And Captain Planet
- 16:22Speaker 3: was another one.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Oh, Captain Planet.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:25Speaker 11: All right.
- 16:26Speaker 7: Enough.
- 16:27Speaker 4: No.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Please make it stop.
- 16:30Speaker 3: This new hit playing on KISS right now, Inspector Gadget.
- 16:33Speaker 2: It's new Taylor Swift.
- 16:36Speaker 3: Let's meet Zach.
- 16:38Speaker 9: Hello.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Hey, Zach.
- 16:40Speaker 3: Hey, how's it going? Good, man.
- 16:42Speaker 10: You're an aircon installer. I've got a mate who runs
- 16:45Speaker 10: an aircon business. Is it, in your experience, you get
- 16:49Speaker 10: a slight bit of heat and everyone just starts calling.
- 16:51Speaker 10: You guys are going to be flat out from now onwards, yeah?
- 16:54Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, 100%. It's going to be hot. You think about.
- 16:57Speaker 10: It in like, you know, it's winter. And you'd go,
- 17:01Speaker 10: summer's coming. I might get that air con. Instead, people
- 17:04Speaker 10: call on the 1st of December when they've had a
- 17:06Speaker 10: hot day. So you guys are going to be flat out.
- 17:08Speaker 4: Yeah. Oh, yeah. We're flat out for the next couple
- 17:11Speaker 4: of months.
- 17:12Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. Oh, well, good business for you. You're in
- 17:15Speaker 3: a relationship. No kids. You've got a Holden Commodore. What
- 17:18Speaker 3: year Commodore are you running? 2012.
- 17:21Speaker 4: Oh, right.
- 17:22Speaker 3: One of the last ones. I think that would be
- 17:25Speaker 3: possibly last year. Yeah. Hey, you came home early on
- 17:28Speaker 3: a Saturday and you heard screaming in your parents' bedroom.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Screaming?
- 17:34Speaker 3: What happened? Are they okay?
- 17:36Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 17:37Speaker 16: Yeah, so I came home after a night out, and
- 17:41Speaker 16: I was fucked, I'm sorry, and then I came inside,
- 17:47Speaker 16: and then I heard my parents screaming, and I was like,
- 17:53Speaker 16: what's happening, I ran upstairs, and They were just going
- 17:57Speaker 16: at it, like, in the bed.
- 17:59Speaker 6: Oh, my God.
- 18:00Speaker 3: Oh, I mean, they got to, right?
- 18:02Speaker 2: I mean, that's how you were born and created, Zach.
- 18:05Speaker 5: So I get it, and I'm a parent now, so
- 18:07Speaker 5: I get it, but I remember also walking in on
- 18:10Speaker 5: my parents when I was young.
- 18:12Speaker 2: I mean, there was no screaming, but I.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Was it boring missionary?
- 18:16Speaker 2: That vision has never left my brain.
- 18:19Speaker 10: Can you explain? I want to get the... Can you
- 18:22Speaker 10: just tell us who was on top? That's all I
- 18:24Speaker 10: want to know.
- 18:24Speaker 2: My dad.
- 18:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Yeah. You're sick.
- 18:30Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 18:31Speaker 15: Okay.
- 18:32Speaker 3: Weighing in.
- 18:36Speaker 5: Yes.
- 18:36Speaker 10: Weighing in at 85 kilos, he caught mum and dad
- 18:39Speaker 10: having a.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Crack at Zach. All right, mate. We're going to actually
- 18:44Speaker 3: do Jasmine first today. Hello, Jasmine.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Yes, hello.
- 18:50Speaker 3: Yeah, you ready to go?
- 18:51Speaker 9: Yep.
- 18:52Speaker 3: All right. Good luck. Which company uses this in their ads? Oh,
- 18:59Speaker 3: helps if it plays. Here we go. Who's that? Bunnings. Yeah,
- 19:06Speaker 3: it is Bunnings. One for you. Okay, on to the
- 19:09Speaker 3: next one. In cars, what is a hot rod?
- 19:13Speaker 12: Harley-Davidson.
- 19:15Speaker 3: It is not. That is incorrect. It's like an old-fashioned
- 19:19Speaker 3: car fitted with, like, a powerful modern kind of engine. Okay.
- 19:23Speaker 12: Oh, I got it wrong.
- 19:24Speaker 3: Oh, good.
- 19:24Speaker 12: You got one.
- 19:25Speaker 3: You got the Bunnings. In bowling, what is it called
- 19:28Speaker 3: when you get three strikes in a row? Three strikes
- 19:36Speaker 3: in a row. It's got a name.
- 19:38Speaker 12: I don't know.
- 19:41Speaker 7: No?
- 19:41Speaker 14: No?
- 19:42Speaker 5: No.
- 19:43Speaker 3: Okay, have a good day. No, you can stay there because...
- 19:46Speaker 3: It's called a turkey. A turkey. All right. Zach. Zach.
- 19:51Speaker 3: You're on.
- 19:51Speaker 2: All right, Zach, question number one.
- 19:54Speaker 5: Number five, is the famous perfume made by which brand?
- 20:03Speaker 12: Number five.
- 20:04Speaker 3: Yeah. Which brand? Well-known one, mate.
- 20:11Speaker 4: No.
- 20:13Speaker 5: Dior?
- 20:14Speaker 13: No.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Chanel.
- 20:16Speaker 16: Oh, Chanel.
- 20:17Speaker 3: Put her in Chanel.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Put her in Chanel. Put her in Chanel.
- 20:19Speaker 3: Is that what he says?
- 20:20Speaker 2: Put her in Chanel.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Put her in Chanel.
- 20:24Speaker 2: Number two. In food, what is a fondue?
- 20:32Speaker 3: Chocolate. Chocolate. You can have a chocolate fondue.
- 20:35Speaker 2: Yeah, but what is it?
- 20:36Speaker 3: What is it? Yeah.
- 20:39Speaker 4: Um... Ice cream?
- 20:41Speaker 3: No.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Did you say ice cream?
- 20:45Speaker 3: He said ice cream. Oh, yeah.
- 20:47Speaker 5: So it's melted cheese or melted chocolate that you dip
- 20:51Speaker 5: things into.
- 20:52Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, well, you got one more opportunity here, mate.
- 20:57Speaker 2: All right. I didn't know this.
- 21:01Speaker 13: Did you?
- 21:02Speaker 3: No.
- 21:03Speaker 6: All right.
- 21:04Speaker 2: What does the G in G string stand for?
- 21:11Speaker 3: Think about the area that you wear it.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Yeah, think about where the G-string's worn.
- 21:21Speaker 6: I don't know, sorry.
- 21:23Speaker 2: It's groin.
- 21:25Speaker 3: Groin.
- 21:25Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 21:25Speaker 2: That makes sense. It does make sense. A groin string.
- 21:29Speaker 2: A groin string. It sounds so unappealing, doesn't it?
- 21:33Speaker 3: Hey, guess what?
- 21:35Speaker 2: Inspector Jasmine.
- 21:36Speaker 3: He didn't get any, did he?
- 21:38Speaker 5: No.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Inspector Jasmine.
- 21:42Speaker 3: Hello, good morning.
- 21:43Speaker 10: You are on Kiss Mikey. Amy Gerard at 25 to
- 21:46Speaker 10: 7 right now.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Morning. Yeah, so an influencer.
- 21:50Speaker 7: Oh, yeah.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Your favourite people.
- 21:52Speaker 3: You're an influencer.
- 21:53Speaker 2: I'm a radio host now.
- 21:55Speaker 3: Oh, I don't know, man. You look at all those
- 21:56Speaker 3: articles about you, it's like influencer joins Kiss.
- 21:59Speaker 2: No, I actually, you know, funny you say that.
- 22:01Speaker 5: Even when I was making my bread and butter from
- 22:05Speaker 5: content creating.
- 22:07Speaker 3: That's a better word, isn't it?
- 22:08Speaker 2: Yeah, it is a better word.
- 22:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:10Speaker 2: Articles, if anything was ever written about me, it would
- 22:12Speaker 2: always be author.
- 22:13Speaker 7: Oh, that's good though.
- 22:15Speaker 5: Yeah, author, podcaster, winemaker, content creator would be last.
- 22:19Speaker 3: Yeah. Do you hate the term influencer?
- 22:22Speaker 5: Oh, look, there's a stigma attached to it and people
- 22:25Speaker 5: think like, because there are a lot of people who.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Kind of ruin it for others.
- 22:28Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, they're awful, yeah.
- 22:30Speaker 2: It's actually quite an intense word. form of work. Like people,
- 22:36Speaker 2: until you.
- 22:37Speaker 3: Do it, you don't realise. Would you say it's harder
- 22:39Speaker 3: than working in a factory? Don't ask me.
- 22:41Speaker 2: It's not hard.
- 22:42Speaker 5: No, but it is still work. You are still, there's
- 22:45Speaker 5: no clock on, clock off hours.
- 22:47Speaker 7: I know.
- 22:47Speaker 5: You're constantly trying to build rapport with a community of
- 22:50Speaker 5: people who you don't even know. Yeah.
- 22:51Speaker 2: And build trust and everything like that.
- 22:53Speaker 3: And you've done well. Anyway, this is not about me.
- 22:55Speaker 3: And what's your Instagram handle?
- 22:56Speaker 9: No.
- 22:57Speaker 3: Amy Gurd.
- 22:58Speaker 5: An influencer has shared a hot take that she thinks that,
- 23:01Speaker 5: you know, that people will probably disagree with here. Ashley
- 23:05Speaker 5: Luzon thinks that you can be friends with people that
- 23:09Speaker 5: you've slept with.
- 23:13Speaker 3: Like after?
- 23:14Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 23:14Speaker 2: So, like, have a.
- 23:16Speaker 5: Listen to what she says and then we'll have a chat.
- 23:18Speaker 3: Yep, all right, here we go.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Hot take, but I do think that you can be
- 23:22Speaker 1: friends with people that you've slept with before. Because have
- 23:24Speaker 1: you ever hooked up with someone or you had a time,
- 23:28Speaker 1: even an ex, for example, and then you look at
- 23:30Speaker 1: them again and you just genuinely get icked out? Like,
- 23:34Speaker 1: I can't even find you sexually attractive anymore at all.
- 23:38Speaker 4: At all.
- 23:38Speaker 1: That's why I think you can be friends with someone
- 23:40Speaker 1: that you've cracked previously.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Cracked? I.
- 23:43Speaker 6: I.
- 23:46Speaker 2: I'm sure you can. I'm just not.
- 23:48Speaker 7: No.
- 23:48Speaker 5: Like there is nobody that I have been intimate with
- 23:53Speaker 5: that I've then gone, oh, yeah, like let's hang out.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Let's go for a drink and be friends and stuff.
- 23:58Speaker 3: I'm trying to think about it.
- 23:59Speaker 10: Everyone I've slept with has typically been like either a
- 24:02Speaker 10: partner or someone I dated for a while.
- 24:04Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 24:04Speaker 3: And that's a different relationship. That's right.
- 24:07Speaker 10: I can't think of anyone I've slept with and that
- 24:08Speaker 10: I'm still friends with. Maybe we're weird though.
- 24:10Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 24:11Speaker 5: And if I have been icked out by them, then
- 24:14Speaker 5: they're not going to be my friends either.
- 24:15Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 24:16Speaker 3: Do you know what I mean?
- 24:17Speaker 5: Like if she's saying, oh, you know, you could have
- 24:19Speaker 5: slept with them and then all of a sudden you
- 24:20Speaker 5: got the ick, well then why would you continue?
- 24:24Speaker 10: Well, 131065, let's say maybe, if you've got an opinion
- 24:27Speaker 10: on this, you can call in, maybe like when you're
- 24:30Speaker 10: younger and it's the same friendship group and maybe you
- 24:32Speaker 10: sleep with them a few times and you're like, oh.
- 24:34Speaker 3: I'm not really into it.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Like a bit of casual fun and then.
- 24:36Speaker 3: But you still hang out at friends things. I don't know.
- 24:38Speaker 3: Let's ask the team here. Chelsea, are you friends with
- 24:41Speaker 3: men you've slept with?
- 24:42Speaker 8: I feel like majority of men I've slept with, I'm
- 24:44Speaker 8: friends with.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Oh, I don't know. It's not that weird.
- 24:48Speaker 8: Like, and, but I do get icked out very quickly,
- 24:51Speaker 8: but even for example, I was on leave last week
- 24:53Speaker 8: and I went to the gym and one of them
- 24:55Speaker 8: were there and he was there with his now fiance,
- 24:58Speaker 8: which I hope they're not listening.
- 24:59Speaker 2: Cause I don't think she knows anything. It was before. Yeah, yeah.
- 25:02Speaker 7: Preface.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Yeah, of course, yep. And we just all chatted, like friends.
- 25:06Speaker 3: But were you dating him or you just.
- 25:07Speaker 2: No. Just a bit of casual fun.
- 25:09Speaker 8: Yeah, just here and there, a bit of dabbling.
- 25:11Speaker 3: What about Dan? Digital guy.
- 25:13Speaker 11: Yeah, she's part of a friendship group, so I don't
- 25:16Speaker 11: see her as often and she's in a different state.
- 25:18Speaker 14: Oh, okay.
- 25:19Speaker 6: Also, I will say it was only once.
- 25:20Speaker 8: I feel like if it was more than once, I
- 25:22Speaker 8: wouldn't be able to.
- 25:23Speaker 3: Yeah, okay. Yeah, like one drunken thing.
- 25:25Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 25:26Speaker 3: The Pom, I don't know, have you had sex?
- 25:28Speaker 6: Yeah, once or twice. I really like this as an idea.
- 25:31Speaker 11: I would love to be friends with people I've slept with,
- 25:33Speaker 11: but I find when I try to treat them like friends,
- 25:35Speaker 11: they stop talking to me.
- 25:38Speaker 5: Oh, I actually, when I've broken up with past boyfriends,
- 25:41Speaker 5: I would have loved to have stayed in contact with.
- 25:44Speaker 2: A few of mine.
- 25:44Speaker 3: But you broke their heart.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Yeah, well, and then they hate me, yeah.
- 25:48Speaker 3: You've never been broken up with, have you?
- 25:51Speaker 10: I know this because it's always women that do the
- 25:54Speaker 10: breaking up.
- 25:55Speaker 3: I want you to have a think. I had one.
- 25:57Speaker 3: Every man. Yes, one.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Most long-term relationships, no. Yeah, I've ended.
- 26:03Speaker 3: It's always the woman.
- 26:04Speaker 2: I disagree.
- 26:05Speaker 5: I remember one time a guy was like, hey, like,
- 26:09Speaker 5: let's not continue.
- 26:11Speaker 2: And I was like, what?
- 26:13Speaker 3: Yeah, you don't know how to handle that.
- 26:15Speaker 2: I was so taken back.
- 26:16Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 26:17Speaker 5: He was a lot older than me and anyway. But
- 26:19Speaker 5: it was the first time that I was on the
- 26:21Speaker 5: receiving end.
- 26:22Speaker 6: It's rare.
- 26:22Speaker 2: And we'd only been dating for like eight weeks.
- 26:24Speaker 10: And I was– So I've definitely ghosted or after a
- 26:29Speaker 10: few months of dating, someone not wanted to see them again.
- 26:31Speaker 10: But every, apart from one, every long-term relationship she's left,
- 26:35Speaker 10: there was one where I did, but I should have left.
- 26:37Speaker 3: Like a year earlier. She was mental and I just
- 26:40Speaker 3: put up with it. It's true, isn't it, Sean? Men
- 26:43Speaker 3: get left.
- 26:44Speaker 6: Yeah, it's always happened to me.
- 26:46Speaker 5: Well, because I think men and will stay in relationships
- 26:50Speaker 5: that aren't, overly thrilling to them just because they're so complacent.
- 26:55Speaker 3: Oh, there are men that literally are listening now that
- 26:57Speaker 3: hate their wife.
- 26:58Speaker 7: Correct.
- 26:58Speaker 3: And they've been together 20 or 30 years and they're
- 27:00Speaker 3: not leaving. Correct.
- 27:02Speaker 5: And I think a lot of men won't leave until
- 27:04Speaker 5: they've found something better.
- 27:06Speaker 3: Exactly. So men will leave when there is something.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Correct.
- 27:10Speaker 5: Whereas I feel like women, when they know a relationship's
- 27:13Speaker 5: not serving them anymore, they will be like, see ya.
- 27:15Speaker 3: What's it like?
- 27:16Speaker 10: Because I only ever did it once after this huge fight.
- 27:18Speaker 10: Like what's it actually like sitting down?
- 27:21Speaker 3: It's horrible. You've got a plan.
- 27:22Speaker 2: It's horrible.
- 27:23Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 27:24Speaker 2: It's not easy.
- 27:24Speaker 3: And you say it's not me. It's not you. It's me.
- 27:27Speaker 5: Oh, I just, I remember always trying to be like,
- 27:30Speaker 5: let's just, you know, do our own thing for a
- 27:33Speaker 5: little bit and then we'll try again.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Like it was almost like giving them false hope. But
- 27:40Speaker 2: it was like my way of.
- 27:41Speaker 5: Trying to like not completely sever the relationship.
- 27:44Speaker 3: Oh, it's hard.
- 27:45Speaker 2: But I feel like the false hope is even worse.
- 27:47Speaker 2: So it's really hard.
- 27:49Speaker 3: Maybe you'll feel it one day. Maybe Ryan will find
- 27:52Speaker 3: another woman.
- 27:52Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Good luck to the next woman.
- 27:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 27:57Speaker 3: Hey, let's do first calls. You might want to talk
- 28:00Speaker 3: about that or anything.
- 28:01Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 28:02Speaker 10: Really, it's up to you because it's first calls. So
- 28:04Speaker 10: call in 131065. That's our number to get on air
- 28:09Speaker 10: for first calls. Sabrina Carpenter now.
- 28:12Speaker 3: You're on KISS. Good morning. And we're doing first calls now.
- 28:15Speaker 3: Anything on your mind on 131065?
- 28:16Speaker 7: Healy.
- 28:17Speaker 3: Hey. Hey, Healy.
- 28:19Speaker 4: Hey, how are you?
- 28:21Speaker 3: Hey, good.
- 28:21Speaker 4: How are you?
- 28:22Speaker 12: Good, mate.
- 28:22Speaker 3: What do you want to chat about?
- 28:24Speaker 4: Well, I just had a segment about having past relationships
- 28:29Speaker 4: and partners.
- 28:30Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 28:31Speaker 4: Still be maintaining friendships and all that.
- 28:33Speaker 3: Yes.
- 28:34Speaker 2: Can you be friends with people that you've slept with?
- 28:38Speaker 4: Absolutely. Look, I'm in a relationship for three years and
- 28:43Speaker 4: I've also, I've got two, like I've got an ex-partner
- 28:46Speaker 4: that I'm best mates with and, you know, she's integrated
- 28:50Speaker 4: into my family. She's got two kids and I've got
- 28:53Speaker 4: two kids and You know, like it's well integrated and
- 28:57Speaker 4: I've also got a friend that I've had friends with
- 29:00Speaker 4: benefits with and, you know, again, same story. So I think.
- 29:05Speaker 3: Your partner's all good with this?
- 29:07Speaker 4: Absolutely. I think I've had a few relationships prior that
- 29:12Speaker 4: weren't okay with it, but I think these relationships, friendships,
- 29:17Speaker 4: you know, obviously they didn't work in a relationship, but.
- 29:20Speaker 3: You're better.
- 29:21Speaker 7: Off as friends.
- 29:22Speaker 2: You're still good as.
- 29:23Speaker 3: Friends, right?
- 29:23Speaker 9: Well.
- 29:24Speaker 4: A hundred percent.
- 29:26Speaker 6: Have you got.
- 29:26Speaker 5: Your ex kind of hanging around because you obviously both
- 29:29Speaker 5: would have had kids and the kids would have met?
- 29:31Speaker 2: Are you kind of saying friends for that reason?
- 29:36Speaker 4: Well, I actually became a godparent to both her kids.
- 29:39Speaker 13: Okay.
- 29:40Speaker 2: Yep.
- 29:40Speaker 4: And like, I've even got a tattoo on, uh, on
- 29:43Speaker 4: my ankle. She's the same, you know, we, we made
- 29:45Speaker 4: a truth and quite frankly, I wouldn't maintain a relationship
- 29:49Speaker 4: that couldn't hold that friendship, you know?
- 29:51Speaker 3: So how would you be without Brian just getting a
- 29:55Speaker 3: tattoo of his ex?
- 29:56Speaker 2: Well, he had it done before I was in the picture.
- 29:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:00Speaker 5: It's not like you haven't had the tattoo done whilst
- 30:03Speaker 5: in a new relationship, right, Healy?
- 30:04Speaker 3: No, no.
- 30:05Speaker 4: Well, yeah, so we were friends beforehand. Then we got
- 30:09Speaker 4: the tattoo sort of thing. And then we tried a,
- 30:12Speaker 4: I guess, like a relationship sort of thing. That didn't
- 30:14Speaker 4: work out. So we just maintained a friendship. And, you know,
- 30:18Speaker 4: it's not a tattoo of a name or anything. It's
- 30:20Speaker 4: kind of like a truth to not let anything get
- 30:23Speaker 4: in the way.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I like that.
- 30:25Speaker 5: I like that you guys have, I think because you
- 30:28Speaker 5: started off as friends, I think that makes a little
- 30:31Speaker 5: bit of a difference. I think as opposed to like
- 30:33Speaker 5: a relationship where you are both entering, you know, as
- 30:37Speaker 5: a couple, that's sometimes a little bit harder to stay
- 30:40Speaker 5: friends with those kind of people. Whereas Healy's saying he
- 30:43Speaker 5: was friends with her to begin with.
- 30:45Speaker 3: But some women wouldn't be all right with this.
- 30:47Speaker 2: Oh, loads of women wouldn't.
- 30:48Speaker 3: Or men. Or men. 100%, yeah. Good on you, man.
- 30:51Speaker 3: Nicole's on.
- 30:52Speaker 7: Hello.
- 30:52Speaker 2: Hey, Nicole.
- 30:53Speaker 3: Hello, how are you? Excuse my scratchy voice.
- 30:56Speaker 15: I've got a sore throat.
- 30:57Speaker 2: No, you sound great.
- 30:58Speaker 3: You want to talk about that too?
- 30:59Speaker 12: No, no, no.
- 31:01Speaker 15: I agree with the previous caller.
- 31:03Speaker 4: I'm friends with.
- 31:04Speaker 15: My exes too.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Are you in a relationship now?
- 31:07Speaker 5: I am. And your partner, because Mikey and I were
- 31:11Speaker 5: just discussing.
- 31:12Speaker 3: Well, he talks to his exes, so it's all good.
- 31:15Speaker 3: I've got nothing to talk to him about, like unless
- 31:16Speaker 3: you've got kids with him.
- 31:20Speaker 15: No, well, sort of, but no, we don't need to
- 31:23Speaker 15: go down that. It's a sad story, but I'm still
- 31:25Speaker 15: friends with that particular one and another one, but not
- 31:29Speaker 15: for those reasons. Like the other guy said, I was
- 31:32Speaker 15: friends with, a couple of them beforehand. And my current partner,
- 31:36Speaker 15: he's friends with his exes too.
- 31:38Speaker 3: So when you.
- 31:39Speaker 5: Say friends, as in like, are you guys going out
- 31:41Speaker 5: and catching up for coffees or are you just kind of,
- 31:44Speaker 5: are you all in one similar friendship group?
- 31:47Speaker 2: Like what?
- 31:49Speaker 15: Well, yeah, there was a little bit of a crossover
- 31:51Speaker 15: with a friendship group, but they were long, long-term relationships anyway.
- 31:55Speaker 7: Yeah, okay.
- 31:56Speaker 15: Yeah, sort of give.
- 31:57Speaker 12: It a go like that.
- 31:58Speaker 15: But, yeah, just because I don't want them doesn't mean
- 32:01Speaker 15: there's not something there with the friendship part anyway.
- 32:04Speaker 5: Well, and also I think a lot of these friends,
- 32:08Speaker 5: are you referring to, like, having them on social media
- 32:10Speaker 5: and stuff like that?
- 32:11Speaker 2: Like, or are you going out and hanging out?
- 32:14Speaker 12: Actually, no, they're not on social media, which is strange, yeah.
- 32:17Speaker 7: Okay.
- 32:18Speaker 15: Yeah, I know that's so rare.
- 32:20Speaker 7: In this day.
- 32:20Speaker 3: Yeah, look, each to their own. I feel like a
- 32:23Speaker 3: relationship is one relationship and it doesn't coincide with a friendship.
- 32:28Speaker 5: Well, I think when you get your heart broken, you
- 32:30Speaker 5: don't really want to have anything to do with that woman.
- 32:33Speaker 3: No, but someone's heart had to be broken here.
- 32:35Speaker 2: Well, unless they ended amicably on both sides.
- 32:39Speaker 3: Just don't care, yeah.
- 32:40Speaker 2: No, maybe the relationship would just run its course.
- 32:44Speaker 3: Each to their own. Not for me.
- 32:46Speaker 10: Oh, time for an in-ear challenge, Amy. We sent you
- 32:49Speaker 10: on a mission. You went to Gold's Gym Miranda to do.
- 32:53Speaker 3: A PT session. You don't go to the gym, do you?
- 32:57Speaker 3: You're more of a netball player.
- 32:59Speaker 2: I'm more of a netballer and a walker.
- 33:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:02Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 33:02Speaker 3: This was going to be hard.
- 33:03Speaker 2: So this ruined my life. Just FYI. I was sore
- 33:06Speaker 2: for like three days afterwards.
- 33:08Speaker 10: So I'm in your ear and I'm telling you to
- 33:11Speaker 10: say stupid things basically.
- 33:13Speaker 3: And that PT, he was really serious.
- 33:16Speaker 2: He was really serious and really like respectful.
- 33:20Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 33:21Speaker 2: And you were asking, you were in my ear telling
- 33:24Speaker 2: me to say stuff. And I was like, I just,
- 33:26Speaker 2: I couldn't do half of it because.
- 33:28Speaker 3: Well, I got your moaning, I got your screaming, asking
- 33:31Speaker 3: awkward questions, singing awkward songs.
- 33:34Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 33:35Speaker 3: Let's have a listen to how it went down.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Mortifying.
- 33:37Speaker 10: Yeah, here's the first part of you doing what I'm
- 33:40Speaker 10: telling you in your ear, and the PT has no idea.
- 33:43Speaker 3: Let's have a listen.
- 33:44Speaker 7: All right, so we're just going to do a box squat, okay?
- 33:47Speaker 6: Yep.
- 33:47Speaker 7: So just so I can kind of see... If there's
- 33:49Speaker 7: any issues with your hip. Oh, yes. So toes out.
- 33:52Speaker 3: Ask him what happens if you fart.
- 33:54Speaker 7: Knees out. To the step, okay? From there.
- 33:57Speaker 2: What happens if I squat and pass wind?
- 34:01Speaker 7: That's okay. It's been done before. Okay.
- 34:03Speaker 3: All right.
- 34:04Speaker 7: It's happened to me in Pilates before.
- 34:06Speaker 3: Make a really weird moan when you go down.
- 34:08Speaker 4: Oh.
- 34:10Speaker 3: Okay. Weirder.
- 34:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:14Speaker 16: Oh.
- 34:15Speaker 7: Awesome.
- 34:16Speaker 9: Oh.
- 34:18Speaker 6: More sexual.
- 34:22Speaker 3: Yeah, really moan like it's hurting you.
- 34:27Speaker 8: Cool.
- 34:27Speaker 7: How was that? So body weight felt okay.
- 34:31Speaker 3: Slap yourself in the face and go crazy as you're
- 34:33Speaker 3: about to do this one.
- 34:34Speaker 7: Okay. You can do this, Amy.
- 34:36Speaker 3: Okay.
- 34:37Speaker 7: So you slap yourself up?
- 34:38Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 34:39Speaker 1: Excellent.
- 34:39Speaker 2: Ah! Let's do this.
- 34:41Speaker 15: All right.
- 34:43Speaker 6: Okay.
- 34:43Speaker 7: The main thing with this one is you want to
- 34:45Speaker 7: keep that back nice and flat.
- 34:46Speaker 6: Okay.
- 34:46Speaker 3: While you're pushing the sled, laugh uncontrollably like a freak.
- 34:50Speaker 7: Arms out in front.
- 34:52Speaker 10: That's it.
- 34:52Speaker 9: That's it.
- 34:57Speaker 7: Sure, don't crash, don't crash.
- 34:58Speaker 5: Oh, shit.
- 34:59Speaker 6: Good, you're all right.
- 35:01Speaker 3: Done, good.
- 35:01Speaker 6: Oh, my God.
- 35:02Speaker 3: How heavy is that? Next time, sing Man, I Feel
- 35:07Speaker 3: Like a Woman as you're doing it. Sure, ready?
- 35:09Speaker 7: Okay.
- 35:14Speaker 2: Going out tonight. Feeling all right.
- 35:19Speaker 5: Going all heady.
- 35:23Speaker 3: I don't know the words. Man, I feel like a woman.
- 35:29Speaker 2: Okay. Singing at the same time probably didn't help.
- 35:38Speaker 3: No, that's fine.
- 35:38Speaker 7: It's our last one.
- 35:39Speaker 4: Let's go.
- 35:40Speaker 3: Oh, start singing Eastern Rosellas.
- 35:42Speaker 6: Eastern Rosella. Easton Rosella.
- 35:45Speaker 5: Look at the pretty colors.
- 35:49Speaker 6: Easton Rosella.
- 35:51Speaker 3: Very good.
- 35:52Speaker 7: Okay.
- 35:53Speaker 3: How was he, like, when you're doing all that stuff?
- 35:55Speaker 4: Oh, man.
- 35:56Speaker 3: Is he looking at you?
- 35:57Speaker 5: I have secondhand embarrassment listening to that back because it
- 36:01Speaker 5: was so awkward. We were in the private space, just
- 36:05Speaker 5: me and him. I've gone from moaning to grunting to
- 36:09Speaker 5: slapping myself in the face. You also told me to
- 36:13Speaker 5: pour water all over my face and then dry my crutch.
- 36:17Speaker 3: Yeah, well... So I'm dry.
- 36:18Speaker 2: You can't obviously hear that, but, like.
- 36:21Speaker 5: The poor guy just took it all in his stride.
- 36:23Speaker 5: He handled it really well. He didn't even flinch.
- 36:25Speaker 3: He didn't react, did he?
- 36:26Speaker 2: He didn't.
- 36:27Speaker 3: It gets worse.
- 36:28Speaker 10: Okay, so you're really exhausted at this point and you
- 36:32Speaker 10: tried to get your breath. You're on one of those
- 36:34Speaker 10: big giant medicine balls, the big floaty one. Let's go
- 36:37Speaker 10: back to it and have a loose end.
- 36:38Speaker 3: Oh, there's more.
- 36:38Speaker 1: Good.
- 36:39Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah. So you're on that big ball, okay?
- 36:41Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 36:44Speaker 7: This is a ball I use for labour.
- 36:48Speaker 2: You know when you're about to give birth and they
- 36:49Speaker 2: put you on.
- 36:49Speaker 15: One of these?
- 36:50Speaker 7: We've actually had one of our members, her water broke
- 36:53Speaker 7: when she was here. When she was on this?
- 36:55Speaker 3: When she was here.
- 36:56Speaker 6: And her water's broke?
- 36:57Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 36:58Speaker 12: Jeez.
- 36:58Speaker 7: Yeah, I was her fourth kid. Yeah, probably just walked out.
- 37:02Speaker 3: Basically, yeah.
- 37:02Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 37:04Speaker 3: Okay, now fall off the ball.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Oh, Jesus Christ.
- 37:09Speaker 7: You all right?
- 37:09Speaker 15: Sorry, sorry, sorry.
- 37:10Speaker 3: No, it's all right. Hey, next time, Amy, next time
- 37:12Speaker 3: you get the water.
- 37:14Speaker 3: Squirt the water all over your face.
- 37:16Speaker 7: Okay, so with this as well, if we need to
- 37:17Speaker 7: change the weight to make it a little bit lighter.
- 37:19Speaker 3: Squirt that water. Okay, so turn around.
- 37:24Speaker 7: You good?
- 37:25Speaker 3: Sorry, yeah, I'm just really hot.
- 37:26Speaker 7: Just overheating. You good?
- 37:28Speaker 3: Yep. Okay, start counting in Japanese.
- 37:36Speaker 7: Okay. Elbows in.
- 37:37Speaker 3: Yep, let's go.
- 37:40Speaker 6: Itchy.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Itchy.
- 37:44Speaker 3: Knee.
- 37:45Speaker 7: Not bad.
- 37:47Speaker 16: Son.
- 37:50Speaker 14: She.
- 37:51Speaker 7: Can you go to 10?
- 37:53Speaker 2: That's all I can do.
- 37:54Speaker 7: Come on.
- 37:57Speaker 3: Pretend to be a bird and make seagull noises while
- 37:59Speaker 3: you're doing that there.
- 38:01Speaker 7: I'm just going to put my shoulders here.
- 38:08Speaker 2: If I'm a bird.
- 38:09Speaker 7: A bit delirious in the pain.
- 38:12Speaker 3: Seagull noises.
- 38:15Speaker 4: Yeah, okay.
- 38:16Speaker 3: Weirdo.
- 38:20Speaker 7: Are we still doing the burn?
- 38:22Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 38:22Speaker 14: Okay.
- 38:23Speaker 2: I'll do it.
- 38:25Speaker 15: I'll do it.
- 38:25Speaker 7: I'll do it.
- 38:31Speaker 3: Oh, you're a good sport.
- 38:32Speaker 2: And he didn't react at all, did he? It was
- 38:36Speaker 2: absolutely mortifying.
- 38:39Speaker 5: I never like being rude or disrespectful to people.
- 38:43Speaker 2: Especially in their own profession.
- 38:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:46Speaker 5: And I'm there making seagull noises and moaning.
- 38:50Speaker 2: I hated myself. I hated you. I hated everything about it.
- 38:55Speaker 3: Well, you can check it out on our socials. Just
- 38:57Speaker 3: look up Kiss.
- 39:01Speaker 5: So Instagram has launched a new subscription service and I
- 39:08Speaker 5: don't think it's healthy.
- 39:10Speaker 2: Instagram Plus.
- 39:12Speaker 3: I saw it pop up on my Insta.
- 39:13Speaker 2: I haven't seen it pop up on mine.
- 39:15Speaker 3: Yeah, it was offering it to me. So what's the
- 39:17Speaker 3: deal with Insta Plus?
- 39:18Speaker 5: So basically for $ 5. 49 a month, you can have all
- 39:23Speaker 5: of these new features. Now, these new features, making stories
- 39:28Speaker 5: last longer than 24 hours which I actually think could
- 39:31Speaker 5: be a good thing. Pushing your stories to the front
- 39:33Speaker 5: of people's feeds, also a good thing.
- 39:35Speaker 2: A story rewatch counter.
- 39:38Speaker 5: So this is to see how many people have gone
- 39:41Speaker 5: back to for a second look at your stories now
- 39:44Speaker 5: I would say I get that a fair bit I
- 39:46Speaker 5: share a lot of like fashion clothing links and stuff
- 39:49Speaker 5: and I think a lot of people would have clocked
- 39:51Speaker 5: the outfit that I'm wearing and then maybe a few
- 39:53Speaker 5: minutes you know a few hours later gone actually I
- 39:56Speaker 5: really like that denim shirt I want to go back
- 39:58Speaker 5: and see it.
- 39:58Speaker 3: Again but it can be used for other things Absolutely.
- 40:01Speaker 2: Timestamps.
- 40:03Speaker 5: So this is to see exactly when people view your story.
- 40:06Speaker 5: So if you watch my story at 8am, it'll say, Mikey, 8am.
- 40:10Speaker 5: But then if you go back and watch it at 6pm,
- 40:13Speaker 5: it'll come back and say, so you've gone back and
- 40:15Speaker 5: watched it again. And then there's a search box to
- 40:18Speaker 5: check if that one person has viewed your stories.
- 40:21Speaker 3: Okay, this is getting dangerous.
- 40:23Speaker 2: Yeah, so you could go on.
- 40:24Speaker 5: Because for me, I get like, 30,000 people watch my stories.
- 40:29Speaker 5: I wouldn't know who's watching, but let's say I wanted
- 40:31Speaker 5: to know if an ex was watching my stories.
- 40:33Speaker 2: A search box pops up and I can type his
- 40:36Speaker 2: name in.
- 40:37Speaker 3: And it'll come up.
- 40:37Speaker 4: Boom, right?
- 40:38Speaker 3: It is, by the way. It's pushing me to do it.
- 40:41Speaker 2: Oh, you've got it.
- 40:42Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 40:42Speaker 5: It says try for $ 0. Oh, it must give you
- 40:45Speaker 5: a preview.
- 40:46Speaker 3: Or I'm really special.
- 40:48Speaker 5: And then you've got story previews where you can watch
- 40:51Speaker 5: people's stories without coming up on the viewer list. And
- 40:55Speaker 5: you can add posts to your profile without it being
- 40:57Speaker 5: pushed to people's timelines.
- 40:58Speaker 2: Now, people are saying it's a big invasion of privacy.
- 41:02Speaker 5: And I do think... that there are a lot of
- 41:08Speaker 5: unhinged people out there. Like I used to have friends
- 41:11Speaker 5: who would have those apps which would tell you when
- 41:13Speaker 5: people unfollowed you.
- 41:15Speaker 3: Right, so that's what I was going to say. I
- 41:16Speaker 3: had a crazy girlfriend and she had, I think it
- 41:18Speaker 3: was called Instameter.
- 41:20Speaker 9: Yes.
- 41:20Speaker 3: And that is not good for your mental health. It's
- 41:22Speaker 3: not good. I'd get a call like, your friend Simone
- 41:24Speaker 3: unfollowed me.
- 41:25Speaker 2: Why?
- 41:26Speaker 3: And I'm like, fuck. I don't know. Why do you
- 41:28Speaker 3: want to know that?
- 41:29Speaker 5: And also, yeah, and that's I say the same thing
- 41:32Speaker 5: to my girlfriends because at the end of the.
- 41:33Speaker 2: Day, people don't have to follow you. They can choose
- 41:36Speaker 2: to follow, follow along, not follow. It doesn't matter. And
- 41:40Speaker 2: what you don't know doesn't hurt you.
- 41:42Speaker 7: I know.
- 41:43Speaker 5: But when you're going down those kind of apps, oh,
- 41:46Speaker 5: this person unfollowed me.
- 41:47Speaker 2: You instantly start feeling like shit, right?
- 41:49Speaker 3: And this thing, oh, this person watched my story and then, oh,
- 41:52Speaker 3: are they into me? And then they re-watched it. Oh,
- 41:54Speaker 3: they re-watched one, but they didn't re-watch the other. And like, yeah,
- 41:57Speaker 3: I agree. I reckon it's really bad.
- 41:59Speaker 2: I think it's bad and I actually think it's quite unhealthy.
- 42:02Speaker 5: And for people who already have those like quite obsessive
- 42:05Speaker 5: compulsive disorders or people who are– You know, really insecure.
- 42:10Speaker 3: Or in their head.
- 42:11Speaker 2: Anxiety. It's just going to make things so much worse.
- 42:14Speaker 3: Totally agree.
- 42:15Speaker 2: And people are going to get even more addicted to
- 42:17Speaker 2: their phones.
- 42:17Speaker 3: You've been using it, have you, Chelsea?
- 42:19Speaker 2: No, I haven't.
- 42:20Speaker 8: But I do have a little fact about the re-watching
- 42:23Speaker 8: stories or just average, normal Instagram, not paid. If you
- 42:27Speaker 8: re-watch someone's stories, you pop back to the top.
- 42:30Speaker 2: Off their list.
- 42:31Speaker 8: So, for example, let's say I posted an Instagram story.
- 42:34Speaker 8: Amy's seen it. 13 hours later, she goes back and
- 42:37Speaker 8: rewatches it. She's now at the top of that list.
- 42:39Speaker 3: So you can do that without getting Instagram Plus.
- 42:43Speaker 8: Exactly.
- 42:43Speaker 6: Right.
- 42:44Speaker 10: But yeah, I'm with you, Amy. People are going to
- 42:46Speaker 10: do it, though. People are going to spend that $ 5.
- 42:48Speaker 13: 49.
- 42:48Speaker 2: Listen, Meta's gone. This, like.
- 42:50Speaker 5: We're already messing with people with all this technology and
- 42:53Speaker 5: these social platforms.
- 42:54Speaker 2: Let's screw with them even harder.
- 42:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 42:56Speaker 2: But let's get them to pay.
- 42:57Speaker 16: Yes.
- 42:58Speaker 5: Let's get them to pay to mess with them even harder.
- 43:00Speaker 3: To be screwed. Oh, he is the world's most famous
- 43:03Speaker 3: mind reader. He's an Aussie boy, Ash Magic, joining us
- 43:07Speaker 3: live in the studio.
- 43:08Speaker 7: And now.
- 43:09Speaker 3: You're going to do what to us?
- 43:10Speaker 6: Man, I'm going to get inside your heads.
- 43:12Speaker 5: Oh, okay.
- 43:13Speaker 3: Consensually.
- 43:14Speaker 6: It's going to be awesome.
- 43:16Speaker 2: We have consented.
- 43:17Speaker 6: Okay, I love that.
- 43:18Speaker 3: So you're going to read our minds.
- 43:19Speaker 6: I'm going to try. I want to put you guys
- 43:20Speaker 6: on the spot.
- 43:21Speaker 3: Do Amy.
- 43:21Speaker 6: Let's do Amy.
- 43:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 43:23Speaker 6: Amy, what do I want you to do?
- 43:24Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 43:24Speaker 6: Imagine... What are you.
- 43:26Speaker 9: Doing when you're not on the radio? You're chilling at home,
- 43:27Speaker 9: hanging with the fam, watching Netflix, TV. What are you doing?
- 43:31Speaker 2: I'm... In the gym? No, I go for walks. I
- 43:35Speaker 2: pick up my kids from school.
- 43:36Speaker 5: I go to other jobs, podcasting, shoot content.
- 43:39Speaker 6: What do you do when you're just chilling out at home?
- 43:42Speaker 2: I like to... Yeah, I like to go for.
- 43:45Speaker 5: Walks or I basically sit outside in my backyard with
- 43:48Speaker 5: a wine.
- 43:49Speaker 6: Okay.
- 43:50Speaker 2: Not nude.
- 43:50Speaker 6: Not nude.
- 43:51Speaker 3: Well, let's try this.
- 43:52Speaker 6: Imagine you're nice at home. You're relaxed.
- 43:54Speaker 9: Maybe you're sitting on the couch. Maybe Netflix, Disney, what
- 43:58Speaker 9: do you watch at home?
- 44:00Speaker 6: YouTube, what do you think?
- 44:01Speaker 2: My kids watch YouTube. I watch anything, Netflix.
- 44:04Speaker 6: Stan, Disney. Imagine, right, what's your favorite?
- 44:08Speaker 2: Let's go with Netflix.
- 44:09Speaker 6: Go with Netflix.
- 44:09Speaker 9: Imagine in front of you we have a TV, and
- 44:12Speaker 9: it's Netflix, but it's like infinity Netflix. It's got every
- 44:15Speaker 9: single movie and TV show in existence, millions, billions of
- 44:19Speaker 9: different movies and things from across the world. And imagine
- 44:22Speaker 9: I hand you a remote, and you're flicking through. All
- 44:25Speaker 9: these different titles, you go, there's so many different movies
- 44:28Speaker 9: and TV shows flying past your mind. And then all
- 44:30Speaker 9: of a sudden you just, you stop, you stop on
- 44:33Speaker 9: one movie or a TV show and you see the
- 44:36Speaker 9: poster for this movie. Can you see this poster inside
- 44:39Speaker 9: your mind? You can see the details of it. Look
- 44:40Speaker 9: at those details, visualize it.
- 44:42Speaker 3: Okay.
- 44:43Speaker 6: Look at me. Think about like the, the, the main actor.
- 44:49Speaker 6: Is there, is there one or is it more? It's
- 44:50Speaker 6: not like Avengers where there's 10 different people or is
- 44:52Speaker 6: it like one or two people?
- 44:53Speaker 2: Uh, yeah, maybe. I think there's one main actor.
- 44:56Speaker 6: Think of this one main actor.
- 44:57Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 44:57Speaker 1: Okay.
- 44:59Speaker 6: Visualize their face. Okay.
- 45:00Speaker 2: Whilst looking at you?
- 45:01Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 45:02Speaker 2: It's almost like I need to close.
- 45:03Speaker 6: My eyes, but yep.
- 45:04Speaker 3: Okay.
- 45:05Speaker 1: Yep.
- 45:05Speaker 6: Interesting. Slight shifting, slight tension around the shoulders. Normally when
- 45:08Speaker 6: there's a bit of tension, it's like a male to
- 45:10Speaker 6: female relationship. It's a guy, right?
- 45:11Speaker 4: Yeah. Okay.
- 45:13Speaker 6: 50-50 chance. Not that impressive. Think about this person's name.
- 45:17Speaker 2: Mm-hmm. His actor's name or?
- 45:20Speaker 6: Yeah, the actor's name. The actor's name.
- 45:21Speaker 16: Yep.
- 45:22Speaker 6: You know his name?
- 45:24Speaker 2: Oh, I know the first name, yeah.
- 45:26Speaker 6: You know the first name?
- 45:27Speaker 2: I get always mixed up with the, yeah, yeah.
- 45:30Speaker 5: Okay.
- 45:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I think I know her last name.
- 45:33Speaker 6: Yep, yep.
- 45:33Speaker 9: That's what I thought it was.
- 45:34Speaker 5: Yep.
- 45:35Speaker 4: Yep.
- 45:35Speaker 3: You think you know it?
- 45:36Speaker 7: I do, yep.
- 45:37Speaker 6: Just think about the first letter.
- 45:38Speaker 3: Of the first name.
- 45:39Speaker 6: Of the first name. Say the first letter inside your mind.
- 45:41Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 45:41Speaker 6: Over and over. It's like, is it an S? Yes.
- 45:46Speaker 5: Whoa.
- 45:48Speaker 9: Imagine right here you're interviewing this actor yes oh my
- 45:50Speaker 9: god it's a dream come true this random actor from
- 45:52Speaker 9: this random movie is sitting here in the seat and
- 45:54Speaker 9: you go welcome to the show blank do that inside
- 45:56Speaker 9: your mind welcome to the show Steve Martin is that
- 46:01Speaker 9: who you're thinking of is Steve Martin the actor inside
- 46:03Speaker 9: your mind right now yes yes how do you do
- 46:06Speaker 9: that let's take this a step further you imagine every
- 46:09Speaker 9: single movie in existence yeah any reason why you chose
- 46:13Speaker 9: this random movie yeah there's a reason behind it yeah
- 46:16Speaker 9: close your eyes right now Imagine you're seeing this poster.
- 46:20Speaker 7: Mm-hmm.
- 46:22Speaker 6: I'm just going to do... Keep those eyes shut.
- 46:24Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 46:25Speaker 3: He's drawing something here.
- 46:26Speaker 6: I'm just going to draw.
- 46:28Speaker 3: Looks like a... I.
- 46:28Speaker 9: Don't know if this is going to mean anything.
- 46:35Speaker 12: This might.
- 46:39Speaker 3: It's like a child's drawing. Two people? No, wait, wait, wait.
- 46:42Speaker 5: Oh, no.
- 46:42Speaker 3: He doesn't want to do that one. He wants to
- 46:43Speaker 3: do another one.
- 46:44Speaker 6: Okay, think about this person. Think about this movie.
- 46:46Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 46:48Speaker 6: You have not told this movie to a single living soul.
- 46:51Speaker 6: Is that correct? You're literally just seeing this inside your mind.
- 46:53Speaker 6: All I want you to do right now.
- 46:55Speaker 6: Oh, this has got to be it.
- 46:56Speaker 2: Okay.
- 47:00Speaker 6: Can you imagine?
- 47:00Speaker 9: This was completely random. You could have thought of any
- 47:03Speaker 9: single movie, any single actor in existence.
- 47:05Speaker 6: Is that correct?
- 47:05Speaker 5: Yep.
- 47:06Speaker 9: For the first time ever, out loud, tell everybody what
- 47:09Speaker 9: is this random movie that you just locked on inside
- 47:11Speaker 9: your mind.
- 47:12Speaker 3: Say it. What is it?
- 47:13Speaker 2: Father of the Bride.
- 47:13Speaker 6: Father of the Bride is exactly what I had. Open
- 47:15Speaker 6: up your eyes. Father.
- 47:17Speaker 3: He's got it written down.
- 47:18Speaker 6: Father of the Bride. My spelling's a little bit off.
- 47:20Speaker 3: It doesn't matter. Oh, so he's wrong.
- 47:22Speaker 6: I'm wrong.
- 47:22Speaker 3: Cancel the show.
- 47:23Speaker 6: Father of the Bride. Wow, wow, wow.
- 47:26Speaker 3: That is incredible.
- 47:27Speaker 2: It was like my favourite movie from the age of 12.
- 47:30Speaker 2: I loved it.
- 47:31Speaker 3: Steve Martin, Father of the Bride. Yeah.
- 47:33Speaker 2: Wow, wow, wow.
- 47:34Speaker 3: Absolutely incredible.
- 47:35Speaker 6: Thank you so much.
- 47:36Speaker 3: You can catch more from Ash Magic online.
- 47:38Speaker 2: Search for Ash Magic on socials.
- 47:42Speaker 7: So cool.
- 47:43Speaker 3: Good on you, man. All right. Yeah, good morning. You're here, Mikey.
- 47:46Speaker 3: Amy Drud. Now, the top 100 TV shows of the
- 47:51Speaker 3: last century. No, this century. Sorry, the 21st century.
- 47:54Speaker 2: I saw this yesterday. It came out.
- 47:56Speaker 5: Yes.
- 47:56Speaker 3: So New York Times have done it. We're not going
- 47:59Speaker 3: to go from 100 to 1. Just give me top 10.
- 48:01Speaker 5: All right.
- 48:03Speaker 2: I'll see if I agree with it.
- 48:04Speaker 3: Okay, Atlanta. I don't know that.
- 48:07Speaker 2: Is that number 10 or 1?
- 48:08Speaker 3: Number 10. Don't know it. Number 9, Curb Your Enthusiasm.
- 48:11Speaker 3: Never heard of it.
- 48:12Speaker 15: Good show.
- 48:12Speaker 3: It's like a Seinfeld spin-off. You know that one, Sean?
- 48:15Speaker 3: I do. Never really watched it, though. 30 Rock is
- 48:18Speaker 3: in at number 8.
- 48:19Speaker 2: Oh, God.
- 48:20Speaker 5: No.
- 48:20Speaker 3: Veep. That's very popular. Number 7.
- 48:22Speaker 2: Never heard of it.
- 48:23Speaker 9: God.
- 48:24Speaker 3: Are you going to say that to all of them?
- 48:25Speaker 3: Game of Thrones, number six.
- 48:27Speaker 5: Oh, I didn't watch it, but I do, like, I
- 48:29Speaker 5: remember a lot of people got into it. That's the
- 48:32Speaker 5: one you got to watch, got incest in the first episode.
- 48:34Speaker 3: Yeah, I said I'd be into that, yeah. Fleabag, number five.
- 48:38Speaker 3: I do not know Fleabag. Never heard of that either. Succession.
- 48:42Speaker 3: Number four. It's really good. You've heard about it though, right?
- 48:46Speaker 2: I've heard about it. Yeah. Would I like that? Yeah.
- 48:50Speaker 3: Yeah. It's very clever. It's about a family of like
- 48:53Speaker 3: media moguls. They earn a lot of money. There's a
- 48:55Speaker 3: lot of infighting. It's good. Because you got, well, you
- 48:58Speaker 3: told me I had to watch the one I'm watching
- 48:59Speaker 3: with my girlfriend now.
- 49:00Speaker 2: Yellowstone.
- 49:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 49:01Speaker 3: Similar, but business people.
- 49:03Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 49:04Speaker 3: Mad Men, one of my favorite.
- 49:06Speaker 2: Yellowstone is literally about cowboys and ranches.
- 49:09Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's money, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know
- 49:11Speaker 3: what I mean?
- 49:12Speaker 16: Okay.
- 49:12Speaker 3: So this is, yeah, Mad Men. Number three, Mad Men,
- 49:14Speaker 3: one of my favorite TV series of all time. Trying
- 49:17Speaker 3: to get my girlfriend into it. Setting the, like. 50s
- 49:20Speaker 3: and 60s in an advertising agency.
- 49:23Speaker 5: I remember working in an advertising agency and our Christmas
- 49:26Speaker 5: party theme was Mad Men.
- 49:28Speaker 3: But you'd never seen it.
- 49:29Speaker 2: I never watched it, but I did. I went in
- 49:31Speaker 2: like a pencil dress with a beehive hair.
- 49:33Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 49:33Speaker 3: Yeah, it was quite cool. I think you'd really enjoy
- 49:35Speaker 3: that as someone who's worked in advertising and media. Mad
- 49:37Speaker 3: Men is brilliant.
- 49:38Speaker 2: Can imagine.
- 49:38Speaker 10: Now, here's number two, and a lot of people have
- 49:41Speaker 10: told me to watch this, and I think I gave
- 49:44Speaker 10: it one or two, and I was like, yeah, not
- 49:45Speaker 10: for me.
- 49:46Speaker 3: The Wire.
- 49:48Speaker 10: Anyone seen The Wire? It's meant to be one of
- 49:49Speaker 10: the best shows of all time. What's it about? Like
- 49:53Speaker 10: drugs and thugs and gangs. Drugs and thugs.
- 49:57Speaker 2: Oh, Brad's watched it. I reckon he wants to chime in.
- 50:01Speaker 3: Yeah, Brad's our music director here. It was a bit
- 50:03Speaker 3: slow for me, Brad.
- 50:04Speaker 6: The Wire is fantastic.
- 50:06Speaker 5: It's about sort of crime and police in Baltimore, Maryland,
- 50:09Speaker 5: in the States, and it is incredible.
- 50:11Speaker 3: Should I have given it more time, Brad?
- 50:13Speaker 2: Champagne incredible.
- 50:14Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 50:15Speaker 3: I can't hear.
- 50:16Speaker 5: Yeah, Ryan watched it and swears by it. He said
- 50:19Speaker 5: it was one of the best series he's ever watched.
- 50:21Speaker 3: Well, I mean, I constantly hear it's well-rated. But are
- 50:24Speaker 3: we ready for number one?
- 50:26Speaker 2: Oh, this is disappointing.
- 50:28Speaker 3: At number one.
- 50:31Speaker 6: Drumroll.
- 50:32Speaker 3: It's that reality show, The Shire. You remember that?
- 50:37Speaker 2: I knew.
- 50:40Speaker 6: It.
- 50:40Speaker 3: It is Breaking Bad. Breaking Bad. I agree. Either Mad
- 50:45Speaker 3: Men or Breaking Bad for me.
- 50:46Speaker 12: Sean?
- 50:47Speaker 11: I think Breaking Bad deserves it.
- 50:48Speaker 3: Incredible.
- 50:49Speaker 2: The number one show of all time in the last decade.
- 50:51Speaker 3: It's so well done.
- 50:52Speaker 6: Yeah, I think so.
- 50:53Speaker 3: You don't like Breaking Bad?
- 50:55Speaker 2: Nah, it's just so slow. As in, I didn't mind it,
- 50:59Speaker 2: but I would never have ranked it number one.
- 51:02Speaker 3: What's there not to like about a science teacher dying
- 51:05Speaker 3: of cancer selling meth? It's incredible. That is what it's about.
- 51:09Speaker 11: And when it came out, it just felt like everyone
- 51:12Speaker 11: was watching it when it came out.
- 51:14Speaker 2: Except me.
- 51:15Speaker 3: Have you watched any of it?
- 51:17Speaker 5: I think I watched the first couple of episodes.
- 51:19Speaker 3: That was it?
- 51:20Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 51:21Speaker 3: Maybe that's similar to The Wire. You need to keep
- 51:23Speaker 3: doing it. Like I said that to you about I
- 51:25Speaker 3: still can't remember the name. Yellowstone. Yellowstone, yeah. First episode, boring.
- 51:28Speaker 5: First episode of Yellowstone, and I've said this to my girlfriends,
- 51:31Speaker 5: everyone struggled to get through the first episode, but I
- 51:33Speaker 5: was like, hang in there. You are hooked, especially with
- 51:36Speaker 5: the characters, Beth and Rip.
- 51:38Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 51:38Speaker 2: But even Landman. Have you watched Landman?
- 51:40Speaker 7: No.
- 51:40Speaker 3: Is that a spin-off or something?
- 51:42Speaker 5: No.
- 51:42Speaker 2: No, it's completely different. It's all to do with like
- 51:44Speaker 2: oil rigging out in Texas. It's with Billy Bob Thornton.
- 51:47Speaker 3: Oh, I love Billy Bob.
- 51:49Speaker 2: It is such a good show. Landman, Yellowstone, Mobland. They'd
- 51:53Speaker 2: be my top three.
- 51:54Speaker 3: Well, they're your top three, not Madman, The Wire and
- 51:56Speaker 3: Breaking Bad. And before we get out of here, your
- 52:00Speaker 3: last calls on 131065. Hello, Craig.
- 52:04Speaker 2: Hey, Craig.
- 52:05Speaker 4: Hey, how are you?
- 52:06Speaker 3: Good, mate. What do you want to talk about?
- 52:09Speaker 12: I want to talk about the greatest show of all time.
- 52:11Speaker 3: No, well, we had the list.
- 52:14Speaker 2: You don't think it's Breaking Bad?
- 52:15Speaker 3: It was Breaking Bad, number one.
- 52:17Speaker 7: No, no. I've actually got two. I loved Married With Children.
- 52:20Speaker 4: That was a mad one with Al Bundy. You've got
- 52:22Speaker 4: to remember that.
- 52:23Speaker 3: I do remember it, but, I mean, it was just
- 52:25Speaker 3: a crappy sitcom. You wouldn't put it on the top
- 52:27Speaker 3: of the best shows of all time.
- 52:29Speaker 12: Would you?
- 52:31Speaker 4: Yeah, but it had a little, you know, the innuendos,
- 52:33Speaker 4: you know what I mean?
- 52:34Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 52:35Speaker 15: Oh, yeah.
- 52:36Speaker 3: Married with children. Yeah.
- 52:38Speaker 4: Why not? But below deck's my current one.
- 52:42Speaker 2: The reality show.
- 52:43Speaker 7: Yeah, it's mad.
- 52:45Speaker 2: The reality show and they're on a.
- 52:47Speaker 3: Boat, right? Yeah, on a boat.
- 52:50Speaker 2: It's like all the boat, the people who work on
- 52:53Speaker 2: a boat. Do you like maths?
- 52:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 52:56Speaker 3: No, not really.
- 52:57Speaker 15: I didn't get into that.
- 52:59Speaker 7: No way.
- 52:59Speaker 3: You got an interesting taste. But, you know, each to
- 53:02Speaker 3: their own. This came out from New York Times.
- 53:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 53:07Speaker 10: And they released their ranking of the 100 best TV
- 53:09Speaker 10: shows of the century. They polled more than 500 people
- 53:13Speaker 10: from the television industry. So it can be a bit
- 53:16Speaker 10: of a few wankers.
- 53:17Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 53:17Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 53:18Speaker 3: I've got to agree with most of it. Definitely Breaking
- 53:21Speaker 3: Bad being number one.
- 53:21Speaker 2: I don't agree with none of it.
- 53:23Speaker 3: You prefer Below Deck. No, I don't.
- 53:25Speaker 2: I don't want that up there either.
- 53:27Speaker 3: Emily's dialed in. Hi, Emily. Go for it.
- 53:30Speaker 7: Hey, Em.
- 53:30Speaker 14: Hey, how are you? I was listening to Amy talk
- 53:34Speaker 14: about how you might have a drink just to sort
- 53:37Speaker 14: of build your confidence a little bit. I absolutely completely agree,
- 53:42Speaker 14: especially if you're a little bit shy or an introvert.
- 53:45Speaker 14: I think just having a few is sort of like–
- 53:47Speaker 14: It disables your common sense, if that makes sense.
- 53:52Speaker 2: I always call it liquid courage.
- 53:54Speaker 5: So sometimes like you don't obviously want to push it
- 53:56Speaker 5: too far, like what Sean says, but like one or
- 53:59Speaker 5: two drinks absolutely just takes the edge off if you've
- 54:03Speaker 5: got like a little bit of anxiety or social issues.
- 54:05Speaker 2: You know, anxiety and stuff like that. It's really helpful.
- 54:08Speaker 10: I was reading a thing in the paper on the weekend.
- 54:09Speaker 10: It was this dude that had quit drinking. And I
- 54:12Speaker 10: think he said after 40 years, so it must have
- 54:13Speaker 10: been in his 60s or something. And that was one
- 54:15Speaker 10: of the things he was talking.
- 54:16Speaker 3: About, how hard it was to go to parties and
- 54:20Speaker 3: get used to the fact that you're not drinking. I
- 54:21Speaker 3: read the whole thing. I found it really interesting. I
- 54:23Speaker 3: was like, this is not for me. Well, he said
- 54:26Speaker 3: after a while. You got used to it. And then
- 54:29Speaker 3: he'd leave the parties now when everyone's getting really rowdy.
- 54:32Speaker 2: That's when all the fun starts.
- 54:34Speaker 3: I know, but there's.
- 54:34Speaker 10: Nothing worse than being sober around drunk people, right? But
- 54:38Speaker 10: do you reckon you could, because I, you could say
- 54:41Speaker 10: I have a problem, but I wouldn't go to anything
- 54:45Speaker 10: if I can't drink.
- 54:47Speaker 3: I don't mean like a go-karting or something.
- 54:50Speaker 2: That definitely sounds like a problem.
- 54:51Speaker 6: Any party.
- 54:52Speaker 3: Any party. Yeah, I mean I– It's not happening, not going.
- 54:56Speaker 5: I can absolutely– I mean I was pregnant three times,
- 55:00Speaker 5: so for nine months times three I didn't drink. But
- 55:04Speaker 5: there are occasions like Ryan and I had gone to
- 55:07Speaker 5: Mexico once and I was having.
- 55:08Speaker 2: Margaritas for breakfast and we.
- 55:11Speaker 5: Absolutely abused tequila over there and I remember saying to
- 55:16Speaker 5: him when we got back, that's me done, like I
- 55:19Speaker 5: have to have like a month off booze.
- 55:21Speaker 2: Could do it easy.
- 55:22Speaker 5: Went to the races sober. I mean, it wasn't as fun,
- 55:25Speaker 5: but I can still do it.
- 55:26Speaker 10: So what I'm trying to say is I could go
- 55:30Speaker 10: to something and drive and have like two or three.
- 55:33Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 55:33Speaker 3: But what I'm saying is I'm not going to go
- 55:35Speaker 3: there and not even have one beer. Why would I? What,
- 55:37Speaker 3: I'm going to have a fruit drink or something?
- 55:39Speaker 2: Well, you should put yourself to the test.
- 55:43Speaker 3: I don't want to try anything new.
- 55:44Speaker 2: No, no, you should put yourself to the test. I
- 55:46Speaker 2: want to see if you can go.
- 55:47Speaker 3: Well, where do you want me to go?
- 55:48Speaker 5: I want you to go out for dinner with Alana
- 55:50Speaker 5: one night and just have soda water.
- 55:54Speaker 11: I can only imagine if you ended up at a
- 55:56Speaker 11: dry wedding accidentally.
- 55:58Speaker 3: My cousin married a Mormon and it was a dry wedding.
- 56:02Speaker 3: I didn't go.
- 56:03Speaker 5: One of my brother's good friends is Muslim and their
- 56:06Speaker 5: wedding was completely dry.
- 56:08Speaker 2: He said it was incredible.
- 56:10Speaker 3: So you still had fun.
- 56:11Speaker 2: He did, yeah. I wasn't invited. So you still had fun.
- 56:15Speaker 2: It does sound like you have a problem.
- 56:17Speaker 10: Imagine going to watch the grand final. Not even having
- 56:21Speaker 10: a beer. Yeah, but no, I'd have a problem if
- 56:23Speaker 10: I had to go to that event and get shit-faced.
- 56:26Speaker 10: What I'm saying is I can drive to an event.
- 56:28Speaker 10: I just want to have a beer or two while
- 56:30Speaker 10: I'm there. And what's wrong with that?
- 56:31Speaker 3: I don't want to have a Coca-Cola.
- 56:32Speaker 2: You just want to wet the palate.
- 56:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:34Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 56:35Speaker 3: Anyway, on that note.
- 56:37Speaker 2: Mikey's got a problem. Let's check him into rehab.
