- 0:00Speaker 1: Christmas celebrity news. Oh you like that?
- 0:02Speaker 2: Guards and now a crow? Now what do you got
- 0:04Speaker 2: for it?
- 0:05Speaker 1: So Whitney Houston died in twenty twelve. Now how she
- 0:08Speaker 1: died was an accidental drowning in a hotel room bathtube.
- 0:11Speaker 1: She was forty eight at the time. But they also
- 0:13Speaker 1: found cocaine in her system, marijuana. It traces a marijuana's
- 0:16Speaker 1: annex muscle relaxance. They found like you know, mirrors and
- 0:20Speaker 1: rolled up paper in the hotel room. She clearly was
- 0:23Speaker 1: struggling with drug addiction. Now, three years prior to that,
- 0:26Speaker 1: in two thousand and nine, she went on Oprah's talk
- 0:29Speaker 1: show obviously had the biggest talk show in the world
- 0:31Speaker 1: at the time, and during a performance, and this was
- 0:34Speaker 1: all pre recorded, by the way, during a performance of
- 0:37Speaker 1: whatever song she was singing, she fell off the stage.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Now Oprah then tried to protect her because she knew
- 0:43Speaker 1: how badly this would damage Whitney's career and reputation. So
- 0:46Speaker 1: it got out if it got out. So you know
- 0:47Speaker 1: what she did. She actually begged her audience, everyone that
- 0:51Speaker 1: was in the studio audience at the time, to not
- 0:53Speaker 1: say anything. And it actually worked. And we never knew
- 0:56Speaker 1: about it until now. So take a listen to Oprah
- 0:58Speaker 1: explaining I.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Did with her when we've gone behind stage and I
- 1:02Speaker 3: asked her about her attention.
- 1:03Speaker 1: She was clean, but the day she came.
- 1:06Speaker 3: To my shown to perform in front of the audience,
- 1:08Speaker 3: she was not. And she fell off of the stage.
- 1:12Speaker 3: And I knew that if that destory got out that
- 1:17Speaker 3: she'd fallen off the stage, that everybody would be that
- 1:20Speaker 3: she would be destroyed by that. And so even though
- 1:23Speaker 3: the audience was there and the audience had cameras, I
- 1:26Speaker 3: begged them not to put those pictures out because it
- 1:31Speaker 3: would ruin her life, and they did not.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Well, it's all pre social media though, like when it
- 1:37Speaker 2: was huge, right, can you imagine that now someone would
- 1:40Speaker 2: have got their phone out straight away?
- 1:41Speaker 3: Her story?
- 1:43Speaker 1: But also I'm so surprised, like she would have had
- 1:45Speaker 1: what one hundred people in her life studio audience, No.
- 1:48Speaker 2: One would have been digital cameras.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Also, now everyone would do it for the money like
- 1:53Speaker 1: I would appressive, Like I feel like everyone had a
- 1:56Speaker 1: lot of respect for Oprah and so she's asked them
- 1:58Speaker 1: to do.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Something and then have they gone okay, total line?
- 2:01Speaker 1: Yes, Hey, you know the SmartLess podcast one of the
- 2:03Speaker 1: biggest podcasts in the world. It's hosted by Jason Bateman,
- 2:06Speaker 1: Will Arnette, and Sean Hayes. Now, I think they must
- 2:09Speaker 1: have had a conversation when they started this podcast around
- 2:11Speaker 1: no go zones, like I never want to speak about
- 2:14Speaker 1: you know, my kids. I never want to whatever it
- 2:16Speaker 1: may be. I'm going to assume that's the case because
- 2:18Speaker 1: Will Arnette he obviously didn't want to speak about his
- 2:21Speaker 1: ex wife, Amy Poehler, you know, the blonde comedian actress.
- 2:25Speaker 1: They were married. They no longer are, but they have
- 2:27Speaker 1: two children together. They were married for three years, and
- 2:30Speaker 1: during this new episode, Jason Bateman brings up Amy and
- 2:34Speaker 1: also asks Will if he have a pooed in front
- 2:36Speaker 1: of her. Now, obviously this struck a nerve with Will
- 2:40Speaker 1: because he kind of tells him off. He's like laughing through.
- 2:42Speaker 1: But I kind of think the laughing is like to
- 2:44Speaker 1: make it less awkward. So have a listen to how
- 2:47Speaker 1: that went down.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Are you looking for clicks? No, I'm just saying, are
- 2:50Speaker 2: you trying to get something that we could ground always
- 2:52Speaker 2: forget people listening to this, hang on, you were married
- 2:57Speaker 2: to her, had two kids. You guys never went to
- 2:59Speaker 2: the bathroom, and I'm.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Sorry, The question is did I who?
- 3:04Speaker 2: And you?
- 3:04Speaker 1: And you're saying that I don't have manners?
- 3:06Speaker 2: What do you think it's a good question.
- 3:08Speaker 1: I think it's a good question and refuse to answer it.
- 3:11Speaker 1: I mean it's really not that deep, right, really not
- 3:15Speaker 1: a big deal. So you're saying you who in front
- 3:18Speaker 1: of Oh? Wait, am I allowed to ask.
- 3:19Speaker 2: No guys on here? Well, we haven't had that.
- 3:22Speaker 1: We haven't had that. Okay, ask you anything? Question do
- 3:24Speaker 1: you in front of ran? I don't announce that I'm
- 3:27Speaker 1: going to do a number two and invite me in. No,
- 3:30Speaker 1: but if I am, like, if he's in the shower
- 3:33Speaker 1: and I need to go, I will go, no questions.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Yeah, there needs to be a level of mystery.
- 3:41Speaker 1: We all know the two the dudes are the proud
- 3:44Speaker 1: fair is here. I know the two women are like,
- 3:49Speaker 1: it's fine. My mum always said that if you can't
- 3:52Speaker 1: pass wind or past wind, that such a way of
- 3:55Speaker 1: saying it. If you're not your partner, if you're not
- 3:57Speaker 1: that comfortable, then you're in the wrong relationship.
- 4:00Speaker 2: I just don't know when you need to I know,
- 4:02Speaker 2: emergencies accidents, right, but why I'm like, don't poop with
- 4:05Speaker 2: the door open. Keep a level of mystery. Your partners
- 4:07Speaker 2: should be something you the door's.
- 4:10Speaker 1: In a relationship of six months.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Yeah, but I've had many failed for upping it by
- 4:15Speaker 2: an age.
- 4:17Speaker 1: You've had many. You're talking to a woman with three children,
- 4:20Speaker 1: married for ten years.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Close the door.
- 4:23Speaker 1: No, I don't. I don't encourage it. I don't encourage
- 4:27Speaker 1: an audience while I'm doing a number two. But I'm saying,
- 4:30Speaker 1: if I need to have a conversation and he's on
- 4:32Speaker 1: the on the porcelain throne, I'm going to open the
- 4:35Speaker 1: door and have the conversations. Agree.
- 4:36Speaker 2: I don't mind so much you walk it in on him.
- 4:39Speaker 2: It's the whole thought of you, tospect.
- 4:40Speaker 1: You know what she's up. No, you know of him.
- 4:43Speaker 1: You know what this comes back to. This is you
- 4:45Speaker 1: being the kind of man who believes women don't fart,
- 4:48Speaker 1: women shouldn't poo. Where all human beings, we all women
- 4:50Speaker 1: long ab our kitchen and yeah that's whatever said that.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Basically just said Jesus turning hating on my key day.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Because because you refuse to watch your girlfriend do it.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Sorry, not a big I won't put in front of
- 5:12Speaker 2: her either, Thank you very much.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Do you know. I'm also do you not even fart
- 5:15Speaker 1: in front of her?
- 5:16Speaker 2: I would, I would look at it happens, but you're
- 5:18Speaker 2: trying to avoid That is different. Yeah, and go outside,
- 5:21Speaker 2: you know, go in the backyard, so.
- 5:23Speaker 1: You are your girlfriend to leave the lounge.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Room I was talking about me.
- 5:29Speaker 1: You just hear her walk straight out the back door,
- 5:31Speaker 1: stand in the corner of the yard for a second, wait.
- 5:34Speaker 2: For it to air.
- 5:35Speaker 1: And that's worse.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Just do it. That's so weird, you know, when you're
- 5:38Speaker 2: first with it, right, And I've done the one where
- 5:41Speaker 2: I go to the bathroom and I just turn the
- 5:42Speaker 2: tap on and try hoping that it's really loud.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Anyway. Yeah,
