Rachel Parlier from Houchin Community Blood Bank (HCBB) joins the TehachaPod crew in studio and talks about donating blood, plasma and platelets. She explains why its important to donate on a regular basis, we talk about the needs of cancer patients and how they need our help to fight the disease. A local 17 year old Bakersfield Liberty High School student Tatum De Montmorency (#TeamTatum) is in the middle of a fight with leukemia a blood/bone marrow cancer.
