- 0:00Speaker 1: On the Lnai is part of the Odd Pods Media network.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Welcome back to on the Lunai. Yeah, and welcome back
- 0:31Speaker 2: to James Sharinghausen.
- 0:32Speaker 3: Oh my daddy, thanks for having me back.
- 0:36Speaker 4: Dude. You can come every day. We love you. Yeah,
- 0:38Speaker 4: well not every day. I mean I hope you come
- 0:40Speaker 4: every day, but like you could come onto the show
- 0:43Speaker 4: every day.
- 0:46Speaker 2: I hope you come as much as you want to.
- 0:50Speaker 3: That sounds like I get forced come a lot.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Yeah right, I only want it to be on your terms, James.
- 0:57Speaker 4: Oh yeah, sure, consensual come. That's it's my new band name.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Tickets sold. People are loudly throwing garbage out outside my window.
- 1:10Speaker 2: You're welcome.
- 1:13Speaker 3: I couldn't need them, Okay, I can't hear it. But uh,
- 1:16Speaker 3: the garbage containers for my apartment are outside my bedroom.
- 1:19Speaker 3: So when people decide to have fun in the trash cans.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Yeah, oh people dumpster diving them dumpster dive.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Uh. Also like for whatever reason, people will open them
- 1:31Speaker 3: all the way when they put their trash in and
- 1:32Speaker 3: then just let go, so the thing just comes slamming.
- 1:35Speaker 4: Wow.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Whatever you might.
- 1:39Speaker 4: Like it is it like the the like the ones
- 1:42Speaker 4: that are like half the dumpster big like those things,
- 1:45Speaker 4: because that's fucking loud when that comes down.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Oh, unfortunately not it's it's so there's those like plastic
- 1:50Speaker 3: rolling around trash cans. Okay, the largest version of those
- 1:54Speaker 3: that's so loud. It's yeah, it's decently loud, and it
- 1:58Speaker 3: has woken me up a few times, but it's not terrible.
- 2:01Speaker 3: The I'm not dying, I'll say that, not yet anyway,
- 2:07Speaker 3: slowly inside just from existence. Yes, but Ashkin's no.
- 2:11Speaker 4: We could I'm not trying to get her out of
- 2:14Speaker 4: the house story, but we could put Abby out there
- 2:17Speaker 4: with like a little her little she has a papa
- 2:19Speaker 4: so on little super Marborough Share. We could put that
- 2:21Speaker 4: out there next to the dumper dumpsters, and when people
- 2:24Speaker 4: come out there to throw trash, she could tap them
- 2:26Speaker 4: and goes me, please don'tica, mister pop daddy seeping.
- 2:33Speaker 3: I think that'd be effective. Also, I'm going to refer
- 2:37Speaker 3: to that whole area now as the dumper.
- 2:39Speaker 4: The dumper did I call it that?
- 2:41Speaker 2: That's what I got out of.
- 2:42Speaker 3: It, look at I don't know when how where that started,
- 2:48Speaker 3: But referring to the butts as dumpers. I hear that
- 2:52Speaker 3: in this song or some He's dumper look at the
- 2:55Speaker 3: dumper on that one, I'm like, what what was this like? Attractive? Like,
- 3:04Speaker 3: oh man, can you imagine the bowel movements that Oh
- 3:10Speaker 3: my god, my holes quivering on its behalf.
- 3:16Speaker 4: The jumper.
- 3:17Speaker 3: The dumper on that.
- 3:20Speaker 4: I would use like, I think i'd use that like
- 3:22Speaker 4: drippy horror font. I'd use the same font that Creepy
- 3:26Speaker 4: uses for their uh neon sign that like sort of stereotypical,
- 3:32Speaker 4: get smaller at the bottom, drippy, oozy horror fun can.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Be the dumper.
- 3:38Speaker 4: But like poop in brown, we'd do it in brown, right,
- 3:40Speaker 4: like it.
- 3:41Speaker 5: Has to be brown?
- 3:42Speaker 3: Yeah, maybe some of the drippies are a slight greenish
- 3:45Speaker 3: hinge or or corn.
- 3:49Speaker 4: Yeah, a couple of pieces of corn.
- 3:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:53Speaker 4: Oh and like some white stuff.
- 3:55Speaker 2: And I even inspired her the white stuff the.
- 4:00Speaker 4: Little like dumper cream pie kind of. I don't know.
- 4:05Speaker 4: I'm very silly. You have to go goodbye. Sorry, sorry,
- 4:11Speaker 4: So the limit for you is poop and cum. That's
- 4:14Speaker 4: that's your hard limit.
- 4:17Speaker 2: I didn't mean to hear dumper cream pie.
- 4:20Speaker 3: I did, And speaking on only my behalf.
- 4:24Speaker 6: I.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Can that be jamess happy? Can that be as happy?
- 4:29Speaker 4: I want that to be our trivia name next time,
- 4:31Speaker 4: we played trivia somewhere Dumper cream Jumper cream Pie.
- 4:35Speaker 3: Only the damn brewery is full of children like the
- 4:38Speaker 3: last one.
- 4:39Speaker 4: Fuck those kids running around throwing frisbees and footballs and shit,
- 4:44Speaker 4: fuck you people are trying to get alcohol into their
- 4:47Speaker 4: sad lives.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Children playing in the bar.
- 4:49Speaker 3: Oh No, that was outside.
- 4:51Speaker 4: Fortunately the frisbee and football were outside.
- 4:54Speaker 3: Meaning and running was inside.
- 4:56Speaker 4: The screaming and running was inside because the upstairs loft
- 4:59Speaker 4: space of that one has like a birthday party thing.
- 5:01Speaker 4: Plus it's also a restaurant, so they don't like throw
- 5:05Speaker 4: children out until like ten o'clock or something way too late.
- 5:08Speaker 4: Daven Busters makes you leave at like nine, I think
- 5:12Speaker 4: at so and that's a game place, So get on board.
- 5:16Speaker 4: Fucking Steeplejack. Just Steeplejack, Hillsboro steeple sueple Jack. Portland is fine.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Yeah, Like there was kids at that one too, but
- 5:25Speaker 3: they were well no, actually no, because those ones kept
- 5:30Speaker 3: running up and down the aisle. That's right.
- 5:32Speaker 4: Fuck we hate children.
- 5:34Speaker 7: Mm hm parents, that's what I say.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Were they playing the.
- 5:41Speaker 4: No, The one kid kept running by our table at
- 5:44Speaker 4: the one in Portland, and I was like, it's tiny
- 5:49Speaker 4: feet was because Abby. And it's just because I can
- 5:55Speaker 4: hear Abby's little feet on like the fake wood grain
- 5:59Speaker 4: linoleum I have, and that's what I could hear, these
- 6:02Speaker 4: tiny child feet running up this ramp, even when we
- 6:05Speaker 4: couldn't see the kid at that one, I was like,
- 6:07Speaker 4: fucking kids back on the ramp.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Kids back on the escalator.
- 6:12Speaker 3: We were just running up and down the ramp. And
- 6:13Speaker 3: it's an old building and so it's basically just like.
- 6:17Speaker 2: It was going out to find a new trivia spot.
- 6:21Speaker 2: It's ridiculous.
- 6:22Speaker 3: I mean people, Jack at Portland is in an old
- 6:25Speaker 3: church space.
- 6:26Speaker 4: It's so cool.
- 6:27Speaker 3: It's actually really cool, and like one whole wall is
- 6:32Speaker 3: just this massive stained glass window, like it's really pretty.
- 6:35Speaker 3: And the food there's good. They do a great job whatever.
- 6:38Speaker 3: Just if you want to get a cocktail on Mondays,
- 6:41Speaker 3: they have five dollars beers, so it's like a great
- 6:43Speaker 3: soulcle spot to meet up just for like on a
- 6:45Speaker 3: Monday or whatever.
- 6:46Speaker 4: Which we went for five dollar beers and then we
- 6:49Speaker 4: got the thirteen dollars like monster steins that are like
- 6:53Speaker 4: I don't know, like at least a foot door, which
- 6:57Speaker 4: but you spent more.
- 6:58Speaker 3: I mean, my last name is sharing. How theen like
- 7:01Speaker 3: if I don't drink out of a stein? What am
- 7:03Speaker 3: I doing?
- 7:04Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 7:06Speaker 3: I don't make the rules.
- 7:07Speaker 2: You're making your ancestors cry.
- 7:11Speaker 3: They just look you.
- 7:12Speaker 7: Don't, oh Man.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Drink or James, yes, yes, I will, all right if
- 7:25Speaker 2: my ancestors its like crazy guys yelling about his ance.
- 7:31Speaker 4: I'm not saying we're too attached to the Thanks for
- 7:34Speaker 4: the lovely pro but when you said drink more, j
- 7:40Speaker 4: it's god. Anyway, what's anything new going on with you
- 7:47Speaker 4: besides meat sweats, mister sharing housen.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Let's see this. So I've got some more Barracudas that
- 7:55Speaker 3: are coming up, Yeah, Barrakuda, so doing those. Let's see,
- 8:04Speaker 3: we're revamping a party called hot Take, which is a
- 8:08Speaker 3: drag show. Originally, there was this whole other party where
- 8:13Speaker 3: the producers and some of their like core followers fans whatever,
- 8:17Speaker 3: we're trying to get Barracuda canceled. And so the producer
- 8:21Speaker 3: of Barrakuda said, well, that's a hot take. Or it
- 8:25Speaker 3: was either that or somebody responded to his comment saying,
- 8:29Speaker 3: well that's a hot take, And so he made this
- 8:30Speaker 3: party called hot Take as kind of like a jab
- 8:34Speaker 3: like a response and it sold very well. Yeah, that
- 8:41Speaker 3: was three years ago when we did that party, just
- 8:44Speaker 3: like a one off, and we're deciding to bring it back.
- 8:48Speaker 3: So two of them this year. So if you find
- 8:51Speaker 3: yourselves in Portland, make sure to swing by and check
- 8:54Speaker 3: out hot Take. This time it's being hosted or headlined
- 8:58Speaker 3: by Jane Don't from RuPaul's drag Race.
- 9:02Speaker 4: When is when is that?
- 9:06Speaker 3: That is? I should know the exact date off the
- 9:08Speaker 3: top of my head. That's so in two weeks, okay,
- 9:15Speaker 3: or sometime after this there.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Yeah, so weeks from when we recorded, Yeah, we recorded.
- 9:24Speaker 3: Yeah may hot Take and then the other one I
- 9:26Speaker 3: think is happening in like September October.
- 9:30Speaker 4: Oh okay, Oh well so yeah, you missed the first
- 9:34Speaker 4: one guys, but you could go to.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Get your ass in the next one.
- 9:37Speaker 3: Get yourselves to the next one. Just go to barcooda
- 9:41Speaker 3: dot com and you'll see all the fun information. Also
- 9:44Speaker 3: learning more and more about renting, such leasing commercial property
- 9:48Speaker 3: for immersive attractions that's been on the docket lately.
- 9:55Speaker 2: That sounds like you've been dealing with like a headache
- 9:59Speaker 2: the way you said it.
- 10:01Speaker 3: In many regards. Yes, there's this fun tendency that people
- 10:06Speaker 3: in the Pacific Northwest have and that is not responding
- 10:08Speaker 3: to text or emails. And I am vastly guilty of this.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Urgent reply.
- 10:15Speaker 3: There's that. So and I can say that because I'm
- 10:20Speaker 3: from the Pacific Northwest.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Oh okay, okay, Oh so I can't Okay.
- 10:27Speaker 3: We are passive, aggressive people and we don't respond to messages.
- 10:31Speaker 3: The way it was, I guess said to me from
- 10:34Speaker 3: someone from the Midwest is that it's very specifically Portlanders
- 10:38Speaker 3: are terrible at responding to emails, text messages, social media messages.
- 10:42Speaker 2: And I've never heard that.
- 10:44Speaker 4: Okay, I mean, it's not wrong. I have three hundred
- 10:47Speaker 4: and twenty seven unread tiktoks from people like yourselves that
- 10:51Speaker 4: I just don't have the bandwidth.
- 10:53Speaker 3: More for.
- 10:58Speaker 2: What's their secret code word?
- 11:00Speaker 7: Oh that's our word of the day.
- 11:04Speaker 4: Yeah, it's our pee wee word of the day. Span
- 11:07Speaker 4: with it used to be a much louder, crazy noise,
- 11:13Speaker 4: but as.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Give more than time it right, thank you for our
- 11:22Speaker 2: listeners loud.
- 11:28Speaker 3: That was very intense.
- 11:31Speaker 2: You're welcome.
- 11:34Speaker 3: Had I known ahead of time what that was going
- 11:36Speaker 3: to be, I would have like pulled a Howard Stern
- 11:38Speaker 3: and like laid a speaker on the floor and sat
- 11:40Speaker 3: on top of it.
- 11:43Speaker 2: You're talking about, Oh, I know from the movie. Well,
- 11:48Speaker 2: I don't know if he really did that actually.
- 11:49Speaker 3: Happened, Yes, I yeah, for all of the trials, tribulations
- 11:55Speaker 3: and troubles of that individual, I think that that one
- 11:59Speaker 3: singular moment is just pure brilliance.
- 12:04Speaker 2: She like rips her top open in the movie. I'm like, Nim,
- 12:07Speaker 2: you've ruined your shirt.
- 12:10Speaker 3: Now you have to sew those buttons back on.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Yeah, but you had a good time.
- 12:15Speaker 4: She probably got the shirt in Santa Cruz.
- 12:18Speaker 2: I guess that could work if it's vibrating enough. I mean,
- 12:21Speaker 2: then they did the Scibbion after that, right.
- 12:24Speaker 3: I don't know if it would do the same for me,
- 12:26Speaker 3: but yeah, Like there's definitely been times where like I've
- 12:29Speaker 3: been near a subwoofer and like I can feel the
- 12:31Speaker 3: vibrations like my chest.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Yeah, they're like whoa.
- 12:35Speaker 4: That was what we were planning to do with the
- 12:38Speaker 4: Helen Keller the musical back in the day was we
- 12:42Speaker 4: wanted it to have a large amount of like bass
- 12:45Speaker 4: and subwiffers in the theater experience, so that you would
- 12:48Speaker 4: feel the music the same way that Helen was feeling
- 12:52Speaker 4: the music to sing the songs.
- 12:57Speaker 3: How'd that go?
- 12:59Speaker 4: What? How do wo?
- 13:01Speaker 2: I don't think it ever happened?
- 13:02Speaker 4: If no, we didn't actually do. We started writing songs
- 13:05Speaker 4: like we were gonna pay to use the Three's company
- 13:08Speaker 4: theme song, and it was gonna be come and knock
- 13:12Speaker 4: on my door but I can't see or hear you,
- 13:14Speaker 4: the Helen Kellery story. And we had made her dad
- 13:20Speaker 4: like a like a guy with like a chorus of
- 13:25Speaker 4: like sexy like cut off shorts and cowboy hats, and
- 13:30Speaker 4: his song was My daughter's a deaf, mut but I
- 13:33Speaker 4: love her anyway. She runs into everything and I'll steal
- 13:39Speaker 4: over anything. If people ask me why, i'd have to
- 13:43Speaker 4: say if she wasn't deaf, i'd have her sent away.
- 13:49Speaker 3: Yep, I didn't.
- 13:52Speaker 2: We're tickets now, kids.
- 13:54Speaker 4: Honestly, we were just workshopping it. We talked to a
- 13:57Speaker 4: bunch of people in La about it. We started writing
- 14:00Speaker 4: some stuff, and then south Park did it on South
- 14:03Speaker 4: Park and we were like, that's all right, Well everyone
- 14:06Speaker 4: has this idea. So we stopped and so somewhere I
- 14:10Speaker 4: have like I don't know, fifteen twenty pages of a
- 14:13Speaker 4: script and some lyrics, and that's it in some old
- 14:18Speaker 4: flash drive.
- 14:20Speaker 3: I genuinely find it fascinating when I have this idea
- 14:26Speaker 3: and I'm like, man, I haven't heard or seen anybody
- 14:28Speaker 3: else come up with this, and then like two weeks later,
- 14:30Speaker 3: it's like on mainstream television or jabber, yeah, my house
- 14:38Speaker 3: is bugged. What is this shit? Like? I had a
- 14:42Speaker 3: theme idea for Barracuda decor and then straight up I
- 14:46Speaker 3: saw a social media post of like, look at this
- 14:48Speaker 3: awesome set that this DJ made. I'm like, fuck that
- 14:51Speaker 3: son of.
- 14:52Speaker 7: A big phones are always listening.
- 14:55Speaker 3: Yeah, that gets sold to a DJ in Phoenix, Arizona.
- 15:00Speaker 4: Oh you know what, don't be too mad. They live
- 15:02Speaker 4: in Phoenix, Arizona.
- 15:03Speaker 3: So have you ever had that water? It is regretful.
- 15:08Speaker 4: I hate Arizona just like point blank, I hate it
- 15:12Speaker 4: the entire state. I just I don't I know where
- 15:15Speaker 4: needs to be that hot and obviously, like I had
- 15:21Speaker 4: that whole traumatic thing where I was informed I was
- 15:23Speaker 4: supposed to move there with someone who made no money,
- 15:26Speaker 4: so like it made me hate it extra because I
- 15:30Speaker 4: went trying to like it. And you know how I
- 15:33Speaker 4: am when someone tells me to do something I don't
- 15:35Speaker 4: want to do, I'm essentially a stubborn mule, and so
- 15:38Speaker 4: I was like, I mean, I'll come stay the weekend,
- 15:41Speaker 4: but I'm never going to live here. This fucking sucks.
- 15:43Speaker 4: And I got there and I was like, all right,
- 15:46Speaker 4: positive intent, positive intent, you like everything, it's fine. And
- 15:50Speaker 4: I was like, it's fucking hot here. It was probably
- 15:52Speaker 4: like the first thing that came out of my mouth.
- 15:55Speaker 3: I've only been once.
- 15:57Speaker 4: See and you never went back.
- 16:00Speaker 3: I've been busy. It was in December and I was
- 16:05Speaker 3: there with an ex. We were visiting his family. And
- 16:09Speaker 3: there's this place called sun City, which is a retirement city.
- 16:13Speaker 7: We have a bunch of them here, but sun Cities
- 16:17Speaker 7: all over here.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like a chain.
- 16:20Speaker 4: It's like leisure World, but it's it's a different version.
- 16:23Speaker 7: Their restaurants are really good.
- 16:25Speaker 3: That's cool.
- 16:27Speaker 4: It's not cool, James. Your upset face is how the
- 16:31Speaker 4: world should feel about that.
- 16:34Speaker 3: I got hit by a golf cart several times.
- 16:37Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a dangerous place because if you concentrate a
- 16:41Speaker 4: place where normals are allowed to enter with just seenior drivers,
- 16:49Speaker 4: it's scary.
- 16:52Speaker 3: Yeah. They lost the bucks to give, and so if
- 16:55Speaker 3: they run over someone younger, then they're like, oh whatever,
- 16:57Speaker 3: y'all bounce.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Talking all bitch.
- 17:02Speaker 4: Yeah, and like also.
- 17:03Speaker 3: Scott's who works there. All the people who bust in
- 17:07Speaker 3: that are under fifty five, Like what yeah, wild Wild.
- 17:14Speaker 4: At least leisure World has the courtesy to be like
- 17:18Speaker 4: a planned community versus city, so they close off like
- 17:23Speaker 4: it's gated you can't get in, but sun City, I
- 17:25Speaker 4: think you can just wander in off the street. And
- 17:28Speaker 4: so that's the difference in the criminal nature of senior communities.
- 17:35Speaker 3: That just makes me think of like Granny and Gramps
- 17:38Speaker 3: like walking around the streets like mailboxes with their canes.
- 17:47Speaker 4: Well, and like also then like, and I hate to
- 17:52Speaker 4: make light of memory care issues, but like I remember
- 17:55Speaker 4: there was a time where Bob Hope would like hop
- 17:59Speaker 4: on in his call cart and wander away from his
- 18:02Speaker 4: house and show up at like his favorite restaurant, and
- 18:04Speaker 4: they would have to call Dolores and be like, hey, Bob, thanks,
- 18:08Speaker 4: you guys have a reservation, And he's a little confused
- 18:13Speaker 4: if you don't have borders and you have memory care
- 18:17Speaker 4: seniors like that with golf carts or cars, things like
- 18:21Speaker 4: that happen.
- 18:22Speaker 3: I saw this really cool Alzheimer's care facility that is
- 18:27Speaker 3: basically like a small city in the shape of more
- 18:31Speaker 3: or less like a donut, and so the residents can
- 18:34Speaker 3: walk what they think is like a really long city street,
- 18:37Speaker 3: but it's actually just a circle, and it has stores,
- 18:42Speaker 3: like a grocery store. It has a salon so they
- 18:45Speaker 3: can get their hair cut. There's no money, oh okay,
- 18:49Speaker 3: paying for anything or having to track money in that
- 18:51Speaker 3: same way, but they're able to go shopping. They're able
- 18:54Speaker 3: to basically have this quote unquote regular life, but it's
- 18:57Speaker 3: in a safer, more secure environment.
- 19:01Speaker 4: Yeah, does it? Oh you go ahead, doesn't Karen fink
- 19:08Speaker 4: someone she knows is in a place like that where
- 19:10Speaker 4: they have like a little store and a post office
- 19:12Speaker 4: and stuff.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, you're right. I don't know who. Yeah, but yeah,
- 19:19Speaker 2: you're right.
- 19:20Speaker 3: That's what I went for. Everybody that has like memory
- 19:22Speaker 3: care issues but live in a small city with a
- 19:27Speaker 3: salon and a store.
- 19:29Speaker 4: I mean, I don't have memory care issues, but it
- 19:33Speaker 4: sounds nice to just like walk in a circle and
- 19:36Speaker 4: get what I need out of that. Yeah, will Abby
- 19:40Speaker 4: be there? That's going to be the deciding factor for me.
- 19:44Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's a tough one. I don't know.
- 19:47Speaker 4: Okay, Well, I mean I'm looking for a vacation anyway.
- 19:53Speaker 2: All right, let's jump into this episode, friends, you do it.
- 19:57Speaker 2: This is season three, episode twenty one. It is called
- 20:00Speaker 2: called Larceny and Old Lace. Original air date February twenty seventh,
- 20:06Speaker 2: nineteen eighty eight. Directed by Terry Hughes, written by Robert Bruce,
- 20:11Speaker 2: Martin Weiss, and Jeffrey Farrah. All Right, kids, what do
- 20:16Speaker 2: you think Larceny and Old Lace will be about?
- 20:20Speaker 3: I think they forgot to purchase mothballs, and so they
- 20:23Speaker 3: what part?
- 20:25Speaker 2: I mean, that's not unrealistic.
- 20:28Speaker 4: It's not wrong. That's not right, but it's not wrong.
- 20:34Speaker 7: What do you think, Kristin, somebody who's been knocking off
- 20:37Speaker 7: old people at the Shady Pine?
- 20:40Speaker 2: She went hard, dude, fucking hard.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Do you think they used mothballs.
- 20:45Speaker 5: To do it?
- 20:46Speaker 2: Can you kill someone off? I mean they I guess
- 20:49Speaker 2: they're toxic.
- 20:49Speaker 7: They're probably toxic, probably.
- 20:51Speaker 4: I mean they kills a lot of moths, right.
- 20:57Speaker 2: All right, and now James is gonna take the villain
- 21:01Speaker 2: because we love when he does it. So, Kristin, who
- 21:04Speaker 2: do you think will be the hardest for him to
- 21:05Speaker 2: prove the villain?
- 21:08Speaker 7: I'm gonna go with Blanche this time.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Blam blow. You good with that, mister sharing Housen, Oh,
- 21:23Speaker 2: I'm so good with it.
- 21:24Speaker 4: Yes, that's what just kidding.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Tell us about a commercial, Aaron.
- 21:34Speaker 4: Yeah. Well, hey guys, so we're gonna go ahead and
- 21:37Speaker 4: watch an episode and uh, you're going to listen to
- 21:40Speaker 4: these commercials from our friends, sponsors and podcast partners. We'll
- 21:43Speaker 4: be right back.
- 21:44Speaker 5: Hey, Jeff, Yeah, Jeff. Remember yesterday I was telling you
- 21:47Speaker 5: how I wished I could have seen one of Billy
- 21:49Speaker 5: Joel's sold out shows at Madison Square Garden.
- 21:53Speaker 8: I said, you should go see Taylor Swift instead. She's
- 21:55Speaker 8: the modern day Billy Joel.
- 21:57Speaker 5: Well, today my phone said I should read an interview
- 21:59Speaker 5: with Billy Joel where he talks about both retirement and
- 22:02Speaker 5: Taylor Swift.
- 22:03Speaker 8: Till Man, it's always so creepy when that happens.
- 22:06Speaker 5: We should do a podcast about how our devices are
- 22:08Speaker 5: always listening to us.
- 22:10Speaker 8: We already do. It's called suggested articles. A podcast we
- 22:14Speaker 8: talk about how technology is always spying on us, and
- 22:16Speaker 8: how those tech corporations are such big buttholes.
- 22:19Speaker 5: Dude, you can't say buttholes on a podcast.
- 22:21Speaker 8: Promo, Dude, we already did twice.
- 22:24Speaker 5: Join us every other Monday on suggested Articles the podcast
- 22:27Speaker 5: on your Favorite Podcast app part.
- 22:29Speaker 8: Of the Odd Pods Media Network.
- 22:31Speaker 3: Oh that was a fun episode.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Yeah, that was a fun one.
- 22:36Speaker 4: Did you guys enjoy when I all told you to
- 22:38Speaker 4: look at make you Rooney stick? Was that super fun
- 22:41Speaker 4: for you?
- 22:42Speaker 2: Nope?
- 22:42Speaker 4: So famously Mickey Rooney and I hope this isn't trivia,
- 22:45Speaker 4: I'm ruining for you, but based on your reactions all
- 22:48Speaker 4: we were watching, I'm guessing it's not. He famously had
- 22:51Speaker 4: a massive penis. He was a huge womanizer despite being
- 22:55Speaker 4: five foot two. His first wife was Ava Gardner, who
- 22:59Speaker 4: was fucking stunning, and he cheated on her relentlessly as
- 23:04Speaker 4: every other woman because he had a massive sexual appetite.
- 23:09Speaker 4: And one person one time in an article I read,
- 23:11Speaker 4: said that despite being five to two, he had the
- 23:14Speaker 4: dick of someone that was six four, Like that's how
- 23:18Speaker 4: much heat he was packing. And he he he went
- 23:23Speaker 4: through like more than Elizabeth Taylor amount of spouses.
- 23:29Speaker 2: So I can guarantee you none of this is in
- 23:31Speaker 2: my trivia. So thank you.
- 23:35Speaker 4: Oh weird, you know how I feel sometimes. Now you're
- 23:38Speaker 4: making the face. I make the face right, Well, let's
- 23:46Speaker 4: you want to jump into a quiz. You wanna job?
- 23:50Speaker 5: Do it?
- 23:51Speaker 4: All right? So everyone's reunning. Your buzzers are ready, I'm
- 23:56Speaker 4: I'm gonna read the first question, what did the police
- 24:01Speaker 4: catch Rocco doing? Oh? Okay, Kristen, yes.
- 24:09Speaker 7: Uh spray painting something obscene on spuds mackenzie.
- 24:13Speaker 4: Okay, all right. Question two, Dorothy said, yesterday Sophia came
- 24:25Speaker 4: home with niquill on her breath and what in her pocket?
- 24:29Speaker 7: Damn surgical stockings.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Yep, we were listening.
- 24:39Speaker 4: Yeah, why is Blanche so mad at Rose? Dang day?
- 24:48Speaker 4: All right, prop.
- 24:49Speaker 3: Daddy, because she read Rose's diary and thinks that she
- 24:54Speaker 3: was calling her of that.
- 24:56Speaker 4: Yes, all right, point James thing what kind of omelet
- 25:02Speaker 4: makes Dorothy burp?
- 25:05Speaker 7: Kristen Spanish online.
- 25:09Speaker 4: Yeah, not the Denver omeline.
- 25:13Speaker 7: Not the Denver that only caught because I love Denver.
- 25:19Speaker 4: Denver ahead the jel. I think it was like an
- 25:25Speaker 4: old jelly.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Still is a heartburn and indigestion medicaid? Okay, thanks, and
- 25:30Speaker 2: it's still available.
- 25:31Speaker 4: Oh shit, all right, well we can get some. Let's
- 25:36Speaker 4: go to the store. Abby, get in the car, all right,
- 25:38Speaker 4: that's all right, okay, Next question, why did Rose keep
- 25:42Speaker 4: a diary? About raising two pigs for the county fair.
- 25:48Speaker 4: Prop Daddy.
- 25:49Speaker 3: It was the only way to get the diary. Marrit Badge.
- 25:51Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, for four H for four age.
- 25:57Speaker 7: My mom isn't four.
- 25:58Speaker 2: H did she have to keep a diary?
- 26:04Speaker 4: I'm a theater nerd, and yet I'm about to say
- 26:06Speaker 4: that four H is for losers. But it's cool. Wow,
- 26:10Speaker 4: It's just we were city folk and different the people
- 26:16Speaker 4: that I'm sure that there are really amazing four AHE programs,
- 26:21Speaker 4: but when you grow up in like a rich white suburb,
- 26:24Speaker 4: the four H program is where like the fucking rejects are,
- 26:28Speaker 4: Like none of the cool kids.
- 26:29Speaker 2: At schools were cool.
- 26:31Speaker 4: Oh yeah, we had like the star football player and
- 26:35Speaker 4: basketball player. We're part of our Like we were cool
- 26:38Speaker 4: at my school because theater was cool to rich people.
- 26:42Speaker 4: But I think four H would have been really exciting.
- 26:45Speaker 4: And if there hadn't been a stigma, I think I
- 26:46Speaker 4: would have loved working with all the animals and stuff.
- 26:50Speaker 7: Anyway, until you have to sell them at the end
- 26:52Speaker 7: of the season of.
- 26:53Speaker 2: The you go make me some money, bussy.
- 26:59Speaker 4: I want to be Hugh Jackman in The Sheep Detective
- 27:02Speaker 4: without dying. I want to like have a beautiful meadow
- 27:05Speaker 4: of sheep that are my.
- 27:06Speaker 3: Friends really were going to the county fair and like
- 27:08Speaker 3: seeing all the different animals and stuff that it was
- 27:11Speaker 3: crazy that really enjoyed it.
- 27:13Speaker 2: Yeah, you're going to be delicious, little fellow.
- 27:20Speaker 4: At the Washington County Fair that I went to out
- 27:23Speaker 4: here last summer, there was a special dinner one night
- 27:29Speaker 4: for the winning cattle, like you paid extra and the
- 27:33Speaker 4: cattle that won the best award was served to these people.
- 27:36Speaker 4: And it made me so sad because there was a
- 27:39Speaker 4: sign by it, and I was like, I want to
- 27:42Speaker 4: liberate this coout so bad it doesn't know it's dinner
- 27:47Speaker 4: in like a couple of days.
- 27:50Speaker 2: Oh God, you're going to be so good.
- 27:54Speaker 7: So upsetting blue ribbon.
- 27:56Speaker 4: Okay, well, let's move on to something less traumatic, and
- 28:01Speaker 4: that would be Shadow Puppets. What Shadow puppet does Sophia
- 28:07Speaker 4: do for the girls?
- 28:11Speaker 7: Nice prop?
- 28:12Speaker 4: Daddy chains.
- 28:14Speaker 3: I've had some practice since the last episode with.
- 28:16Speaker 2: My fan Jesus had a date lately. Is that what happened?
- 28:21Speaker 3: No, that's why my fingers so strong. Anyway, an elephant
- 28:28Speaker 3: eating a pana.
- 28:29Speaker 7: I gave him the point before you even answered.
- 28:32Speaker 3: I We're I don't.
- 28:36Speaker 4: Usually take the tally away from Kristen. But because we're
- 28:39Speaker 4: so early in this, this is a fucking dead heat
- 28:42Speaker 4: with these two today, Gina like.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Three and three Yeah, love me.
- 28:47Speaker 4: I mean maybe you could buzz in too, Gina.
- 28:50Speaker 3: I did. She was just three hundred and fifty three
- 28:54Speaker 3: million a second.
- 28:55Speaker 2: Fuck all the way off.
- 28:58Speaker 4: Sorry, that's payback for the other day when you said
- 29:01Speaker 4: come here when we were playing Diablo, I had to
- 29:04Speaker 4: throw some shader right today. All right, all right, here
- 29:07Speaker 4: we go. Let's let's move on. What do the girls
- 29:10Speaker 4: think Rocco did.
- 29:14Speaker 7: Kristen face? Oh?
- 29:20Speaker 3: I thought it was like some other crimate that I'd missed.
- 29:23Speaker 2: Either way, she asked it, it could have been a trick, sneaky.
- 29:26Speaker 4: Well anyway, why does Rocco say he robbed the bank? Oh?
- 29:35Speaker 7: Man, bitch, give Sophia the things she deserves.
- 29:44Speaker 4: Oh no, I mean that's interesting because that's a part
- 29:49Speaker 4: of it. But I mean, sure you can have it, Gina,
- 29:59Speaker 4: what are you? I think the answer was, I.
- 30:02Speaker 2: Was gonna say he wants to treat her like a
- 30:05Speaker 2: princess and wanted her to believe he was a big
- 30:09Speaker 2: shot like he said he was.
- 30:11Speaker 4: Okay, I'm gonna give it to Kristen because you're both
- 30:13Speaker 4: just sort of in the realm and she was first.
- 30:16Speaker 4: But when he actually what Sophia actually says is that
- 30:20Speaker 4: he did it for love.
- 30:22Speaker 3: Mm that was from the phone call, right, Oh?
- 30:26Speaker 2: I thought you meant what he said to her?
- 30:28Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, sorry, because I go an episode, episode or
- 30:33Speaker 4: order that was probably too vague. That's okay, you'll get him,
- 30:39Speaker 4: all right. Next question, what does Rose say is the
- 30:43Speaker 4: most any man ever did for her? Do you know you.
- 30:49Speaker 2: Got a bunch of sheep to lie down and spell
- 30:52Speaker 2: her name in a field?
- 30:53Speaker 7: Yeah? Gina is on the board.
- 30:57Speaker 2: Give me that, all right?
- 30:58Speaker 4: Would you like to give us a score tally? Now?
- 31:02Speaker 7: Aaron has zero, Gina has one, James has three. In
- 31:09Speaker 7: Krysten House.
- 31:10Speaker 2: Five, I have one more than you, gentlemen.
- 31:21Speaker 7: I was just stating fast.
- 31:22Speaker 4: And gentlemen, stay tuned for the old new podcast just
- 31:25Speaker 4: called Aaron and James watch Golden Girls on their schedule.
- 31:29Speaker 4: That's a CHRISTI umpire too, and James just quit. So
- 31:35Speaker 4: join me in abbey where we talk to each other
- 31:37Speaker 4: about nothing.
- 31:39Speaker 7: Me.
- 31:40Speaker 4: I can't do that show with you, Mom. I don't
- 31:42Speaker 4: want you. I don't want to perfect perfect cool all right, well,
- 31:49Speaker 4: let's move on. Best to move along. According to Dorothy,
- 31:55Speaker 4: where did Dorothy's ring end up three days later? Kristen?
- 32:04Speaker 7: Oh right, it came. It came out three days later,
- 32:08Speaker 7: and her ship.
- 32:10Speaker 2: You know what she said?
- 32:11Speaker 3: Sorry James home shopping at work?
- 32:15Speaker 7: Oh I see, okay.
- 32:18Speaker 3: That was my That was actually a Christy. I gasped
- 32:21Speaker 3: just because I was like, oh wait, is it the boop?
- 32:24Speaker 4: Yeah, because she never actually says out loud that she
- 32:27Speaker 4: pooped it out. She just said we founded three days
- 32:30Speaker 4: or we got it three days later. It was the yeah, sorry, yeah,
- 32:36Speaker 4: all right. Well let's let's let's try another question.
- 32:40Speaker 2: All right, what does question?

- 33:17Speaker 4: you kissed this pleasure palace goodbye? When you rub the
- 33:20Speaker 4: bank is the wine rose? I was like, that is
- 33:26Speaker 4: uncomfortable at best and I love it. Okay, all right,

- 33:35Speaker 4: This is a bonus point? All right?
- 33:37Speaker 2: Ready?

- 34:32Speaker 2: Point you, Yes, missus Cleaver.
- 34:37Speaker 4: That was two weeks in a row. There were clever jokes,
- 34:43Speaker 4: all right. Next question, Sophia doesn't believe Rocco lied to her,
- 34:48Speaker 4: But what does Rocco say he can't believe, yes, James.
- 34:56Speaker 3: That she's not going away with him.
- 34:59Speaker 4: No, I'm sorry, that's incorrect. Anyone else? Anyone else?

- 40:39Speaker 2: doog for bud Light and was a girl like whoever
- 40:43Speaker 2: mentioned Sophia and her name. I love her name, her
- 40:46Speaker 2: real name, honey Tree, evil Eye. I didn't know that
- 40:50Speaker 2: that's a tour, Kristen, you're nodding, Yeah, that's so great,
- 40:54Speaker 2: honey Tree evil Eye. Yes, I fucking love it.
- 41:00Speaker 4: Abby will henceforth be known as Yeah, she's a bull
- 41:05Speaker 4: terrier that like egg Face dog Frank Nitty would was mentioned.
- 41:09Speaker 2: He was a mobster, in Chicago. Jelly Cell we talked
- 41:13Speaker 2: about for Heartburn, still available at CVS and on Amazon.
- 41:18Speaker 2: They talked about I think Rose mentioned calling George Bush
- 41:21Speaker 2: calling his wife mommy. It was a weird thing. I
- 41:24Speaker 2: don't know why, Like I've heard people do that, like mother, yes, father.
- 41:29Speaker 4: It's a rich old white people think. And I hate
- 41:31Speaker 4: it is so gross to me. It's how I feel
- 41:35Speaker 4: when like.
- 41:36Speaker 2: Yeah, and finally they mentioned Willard Scott. He was the
- 41:39Speaker 2: weather man before Al Roker on the Today Show. And
- 41:42Speaker 2: he was also the first Ronald McDonald And that's all
- 41:46Speaker 2: I have for you.
- 41:48Speaker 3: Where they had Ronald McDonald's all over the United States.
- 41:52Speaker 2: Yeah, do they even have them anymore, like because I
- 41:54Speaker 2: know they're like people were angry about them advertising to children.
- 41:58Speaker 3: No. Yeah, they basically got rid of them as far
- 42:00Speaker 3: as I understand.
- 42:00Speaker 2: They still have Grimace shakes. We know, because Aaron has
- 42:03Speaker 2: a dinner. I'll always be inside of you followed that
- 42:08Speaker 2: purple She drank the grim shake.
- 42:11Speaker 4: When they did the Grimace meal at McDonald's. Like one
- 42:14Speaker 4: of those shakes. It was like adult happy cake flavor
- 42:18Speaker 4: or something, and then it had like a raspberry ribbed
- 42:21Speaker 4: cream on it, whipped cream on it, but it was
- 42:23Speaker 4: like just tasted like sugar.
- 42:28Speaker 2: Yeah, and he's a butt plug. I mean they say
- 42:30Speaker 2: he's a taste bud, but look at him. Look him up, kids,
- 42:33Speaker 2: they say he's a what a taste bud?

- 42:36Speaker 3: Yeah, taste bud.
- 42:38Speaker 2: But look, look which is a plug?
- 42:40Speaker 4: Right, Gina pointed out, makes him a zombie because taste
- 42:44Speaker 4: buds die and Grimace won't. He keeps coming back, kind
- 42:49Speaker 4: of the same reason. I don't trust vaginas they bleed
- 42:52Speaker 4: and don't die. That's right.
- 42:54Speaker 2: I don't trust myself.
- 42:57Speaker 4: When I think about it, I don't us myself.

- 43:25Speaker 4: do one too.
- 43:25Speaker 2: It was like now like a drag or like a
- 43:28Speaker 2: cosplayer or something like that.
- 43:30Speaker 3: No, he just like I think I've seen this one actually,
- 43:34Speaker 3: and it's kind of like, yeah, what's his name? I'll
