Three-Year-Old Survives Brutal Dog Attack | Bahamas News
A three-year-old girl survives a vicious dog attack on Ida Street, requiring surgery and still grappling with trauma — her mother fought off the animal bare-handed. The dog, a Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix, is now in Animal Control custody after officials identified its owner and expect charges soon. Minister Jomo Campbell warns the community is deeply affected and urges cooperation, stressing that even during a dog amnesty period, enforcement remains active with fines up to $1,000.
