- 0:24Speaker 2: This is Wayne Allen Root, direct from the entertainment capital
- 0:27Speaker 2: of the world, Las Vegas.
- 0:29Speaker 1: What time is it? It's time war War. Here's your host.
- 0:35Speaker 2: One hundred percent raw truth, one hundred percent American made
- 0:39Speaker 2: the Warrior, Wayne Allen Roots.
- 0:56Speaker 1: All right, Wayne Allen Root, Roots on Fire. The word
- 1:00Speaker 1: weekend is gone.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Another week is here and I'm with you starting on Monday.
- 1:04Speaker 3: What is today, the twenty seventh of October? I believe
- 1:07Speaker 3: it is Monday twenty seventh. Can't believe that Halloween is Friday.
- 1:11Speaker 3: I can't believe that coming up very fastest Thanksgiving. I'm
- 1:15Speaker 3: making all kinds of Thanksgiving plans right now. I can't
- 1:18Speaker 3: believe that Christmas season is upon us. I can't believe
- 1:22Speaker 3: my wife put up our first Christmas tree or ready, because.
- 1:24Speaker 1: She's just studying and.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Staring at it and trying to decide what room it
- 1:29Speaker 3: goes in and which decorations to put on it.
- 1:32Speaker 1: So we're just a little bit ahead I mean, we'll
- 1:33Speaker 1: we put up Christ's.
- 1:34Speaker 3: Decorations in about about three weeks mid November, right around
- 1:38Speaker 3: November fifteenth to twentieth. So she's testing some of the
- 1:41Speaker 3: trees out. So we've got trees up in my living
- 1:43Speaker 3: room as we speak right now, and soon it's going
- 1:46Speaker 3: to be Christmas season. It's time to start thinking about Christmas.
- 1:49Speaker 3: And I've got all four of my kids coming in
- 1:51Speaker 3: for Christmas. God have a big Christmas dinner here with
- 1:54Speaker 3: all four of my kids, one of whom just got married,
- 1:57Speaker 3: so our husband will be here.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Just a lot of new stuff in my life.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Christmas season is year, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Halloween, and Democrats
- 2:05Speaker 3: have a plan.
- 2:06Speaker 1: It's called trick or treat.
- 2:08Speaker 3: And that was my number one story on My Real
- 2:10Speaker 3: America's Voice TV show on Saturday. My top story of
- 2:16Speaker 3: the week was what's gonna happen after Halloween? The next
- 2:19Speaker 3: day is November first, And when people find out that
- 2:22Speaker 3: the government is still closed and their foodstamp checks are
- 2:25Speaker 3: not coming, they're going to riot. They're going to burn,
- 2:27Speaker 3: they're going to loot, and they're going to rob stores,
- 2:31Speaker 3: and they're going to murder.
- 2:32Speaker 1: And it's just a fact of life.
- 2:34Speaker 3: Now whether they will still be a goverment lockout, goverment
- 2:38Speaker 3: shut down as of next Friday and Saturday.
- 2:41Speaker 1: I have no idea, you know this coming Friday and Saturday.
- 2:43Speaker 1: I have no idea. But if they don't.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Settle between now and then, and the pressure's really on
- 2:48Speaker 3: them now because the whole world now knows that the
- 2:50Speaker 3: food stamps are not coming anymore. So without the foodstamp money,
- 2:54Speaker 3: forty two million Americans get food stamps, and they're all starving.
- 2:58Speaker 3: They will all starve to death because they.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Have no money none. They live on foodstamps.
- 3:02Speaker 3: It's the most incredible thing I've ever imagined in my life,
- 3:05Speaker 3: that you have a nation with forty two million people
- 3:07Speaker 3: that need foodstamps to survive. But what's gonna happen when
- 3:10Speaker 3: they can't put food on the table. They're gonna go
- 3:12Speaker 3: out and they're gonna murder, and they're gonna rob, and
- 3:14Speaker 3: they're gonna loot, and they're gonna riot and they're gonna burn.
- 3:17Speaker 3: And so a lot of bad things are coming. A
- 3:19Speaker 3: lot of bad things are coming. I was the first
- 3:22Speaker 3: to mention it last week, and then I made up
- 3:24Speaker 3: my number one story on Friday, and now I found out.
- 3:26Speaker 3: On Saturday, the Governor of Virginia UH declares an emergency
- 3:31Speaker 3: over looming loss of SNAP benefits. USDA Warren's funds are
- 3:35Speaker 3: running out. SNAP is food stamps, and then door Dash
- 3:39Speaker 3: launches emergency meal drive at SNAP foodstamp crisis deepens during shutdown.
- 3:45Speaker 3: Let me just I've never read the actual article. Let
- 3:48Speaker 3: me just see what the Governor of Virginia has to say.
- 3:53Speaker 3: We have ward readers of the potential for major disruptions
- 3:56Speaker 3: to the SNAP foodstamp program with the federal government remains closed.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Betting odds and limited.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Limited political chatter in the Capitol Beltway this weekend suggests
- 4:05Speaker 3: a resolution to the shutdown remains muted for the moment.
- 4:09Speaker 3: In twenty twenty five, forty two million people relied on
- 4:12Speaker 3: foodstamps SNAP benefits, which accounts for twelve percent of the
- 4:15Speaker 3: United States population, more than enough people to create chaos
- 4:20Speaker 3: as the SNAP funds run dry during November due to
- 4:23Speaker 3: congressional Here here's what the US Department of Agriculture warned
- 4:26Speaker 3: on Friday. Due to Congressional Democrats refusal to pass a
- 4:30Speaker 3: clean continuing resolution, approximately forty two million individuals will not
- 4:35Speaker 3: receive their SNAP benefits come November first.
- 4:37Speaker 1: I told you. That's what I've been telling people.
- 4:39Speaker 3: Now, the article says, you know, as it runs dry
- 4:42Speaker 3: over the next coming weeks, meaning throughout November. But here
- 4:46Speaker 3: it says the SNAP benefits are will not receive their
- 4:50Speaker 3: checks on November first, You will not.
- 4:53Speaker 1: So November one.
- 4:54Speaker 3: Is the bewitching hour, trick or treat. You don't have
- 4:56Speaker 3: your government check when you go down to the post office.
- 5:00Speaker 3: People who don't understand this, they're gonna find out on
- 5:02Speaker 3: November first, and they're going to riot because you know again, they're.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Gonna accuse me of being racist.
- 5:07Speaker 3: The people who get food stamps are violent people. They're
- 5:10Speaker 3: not nice people. They're violent people. They're poor people, they're
- 5:13Speaker 3: uneducated people, they're unskilled people. They have no job, and
- 5:16Speaker 3: many of them commit violent acts all the time. Anyway,
- 5:19Speaker 3: wait till they find out there's no food stamps. They
- 5:22Speaker 3: are going to kill somebody. They're gonna be angry and
- 5:25Speaker 3: they're gonna murder people. The USDA states that SNAPS contingency
- 5:29Speaker 3: Fund cannot legally be used for regular monthly benefits during
- 5:32Speaker 3: a lapse in appropriation. So look, all the big cities
- 5:37Speaker 3: are gonna have looting they're gonna have organized crime.
- 5:41Speaker 1: I don't mean organized crime like the mafia.
- 5:42Speaker 3: I mean organized theft rings, you know, rings of illegalians,
- 5:47Speaker 3: rings of people in inner cities who are robbing and stealing.
- 5:51Speaker 1: And on the.
- 5:52Speaker 3: Topic of this government shutdown, the largest federal worker union
- 5:57Speaker 3: sides with the GOP to end the shutdown. The nation's
- 6:00Speaker 3: largest union of federal workers has called on Congress to
- 6:04Speaker 3: pass a clean short term funding bill to immediately end
- 6:07Speaker 3: the government shutdown, now in its fourth week. It represents
- 6:09Speaker 3: over eight hundred thousand federal government workers. The American Federation
- 6:13Speaker 3: of Government Employees argued the shutdown was an avoidable crisis
- 6:17Speaker 3: that harms American families and workers nationwide. It's time to
- 6:21Speaker 3: pass a clean continuing resolution and end the shutdown today.
- 6:27Speaker 3: And the only way to pass a clean and continuing
- 6:29Speaker 3: resolution is to do it the Republican way, because they're
- 6:31Speaker 3: the ones who want to do that. So it's time
- 6:34Speaker 3: to faint, it's time to scream. You know those ads
- 6:37Speaker 3: for a Southwest airline. Southwest is now it's signing seats
- 6:39Speaker 3: in the woman the woman got she grabs a watermelon
- 6:42Speaker 3: and breaks it on the ground. That's what you got
- 6:44Speaker 3: to do when you hear a union, a government employ.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Union inciding with the gop ah, put the watermelon on
- 6:49Speaker 1: the ground.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Task Forces launched to eliminate violent crime by foreign gangs
- 6:56Speaker 3: and cartels.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I think this is significant news.
- 6:59Speaker 3: The FBI and Homeland Security Investigations have introduced new task
- 7:03Speaker 3: forces to crack down on foreign gangs operating in the
- 7:08Speaker 3: United States, the FBI said in a statement released October
- 7:11Speaker 3: twenty fourth. These new teams, known as the Homeland Security
- 7:15Speaker 3: Task Force, bring TOGETHERBI and HSI personnel meaning Homeland Security
- 7:20Speaker 3: Investigations personnel, as well as task force officers from local,
- 7:23Speaker 3: state and federal partner agencies to investigate trans national organized
- 7:29Speaker 3: crime activity such as drug trafficking and human trafficking that
- 7:32Speaker 3: occurs across all fifty states, the nation's capital, and Puerto Rico.
- 7:37Speaker 1: So we're now putting together task.
- 7:39Speaker 3: Forces with FBI and Homeland Security and other law enforcement
- 7:43Speaker 3: officials to go after one specific target gangs, trans national
- 7:48Speaker 3: gangs and cartel gangs, which is good news. Speaking of
- 7:53Speaker 3: Latinos and all these gangs and all these cartels which
- 7:56Speaker 3: are all in Mexico and Latin America, South America, Central America,
- 8:00Speaker 3: Latin American political earthquake.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Malay Javier Malay had a.
- 8:05Speaker 3: Surprise midterm landslide victory in Argentina.
- 8:08Speaker 1: God bless.
- 8:09Speaker 3: I was about to say God bless America, but God
- 8:11Speaker 3: bless Argentina. Wow, that is amazing that nobody expected this.
- 8:18Speaker 3: I guess nobody expected it. So I think we're gonna
- 8:23Speaker 3: be okay. Around the world, people are voting for conservatism.
- 8:26Speaker 3: And what's interesting is, and I have an article here
- 8:29Speaker 3: if I can find it. I don't know where I
- 8:31Speaker 3: put it now, but it was an article about the
- 8:34Speaker 3: fact that in both California and I guess it's New York,
- 8:39Speaker 3: they're planning on massive new tax increases. Democrats don't have
- 8:42Speaker 3: any money. And the reason they don't have money, it's
- 8:45Speaker 3: a vicious cycle. When you have high taxes and you
- 8:48Speaker 3: have fifty states, you can choose to move anytime you want.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Anybody can choose to pick up and move themselves, their assets,
- 8:54Speaker 3: their businesses, their income, and they could move to Texas,
- 8:58Speaker 3: which has zero income tax, which has zero income tax, Nevada,
- 9:01Speaker 3: which has zero income tax, Tennessee, which has zero income tax, Wyoming,
- 9:06Speaker 3: which has zero income tax. Right, that's just a few
- 9:08Speaker 3: examples where they can move to lower tax states that
- 9:11Speaker 3: don't have zero but very low taxes like Utah, Arizona,
- 9:15Speaker 3: or North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, all of them far
- 9:19Speaker 3: lower taxes than say New York or New Jersey or California.
- 9:23Speaker 1: And people are moving with their feet.
- 9:25Speaker 3: As I predicted in my book A Millionaire Republican in
- 9:28Speaker 3: two thousand and five, I wrote a book in two
- 9:30Speaker 3: thousand and five that said the whole nation was going
- 9:32Speaker 3: to start moving and we were going to have a
- 9:34Speaker 3: American divorce.
- 9:36Speaker 1: And that's what's happening.
- 9:37Speaker 3: You don't need to actually have a civil war, and
- 9:40Speaker 3: you don't even need to have an official divorce. All
- 9:42Speaker 3: you have to do is if everyone in America leaves
- 9:44Speaker 3: blue states and goes to red states, we will have
- 9:47Speaker 3: all the power, all the electoral votes, all the money,
- 9:50Speaker 3: and those states will be left as bankrupt, rotting pieces
- 9:54Speaker 3: of crap and they're just dead, and America will have one.
- 9:58Speaker 3: We will have won a civil war without firing a shot.
- 10:01Speaker 3: That's my great American divorce. If every conservative in California
- 10:05Speaker 3: and Oregon, in Washington and Illinois and New York, and
- 10:10Speaker 3: did I say California, I hope I say California.
- 10:12Speaker 1: No, I didn't. All right, California, Oregon, Washington.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Let's move around the country, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut.
- 10:20Speaker 3: If all these liberal states Maryland, Vermont, Hawaii, Massachusetts otherwise
- 10:26Speaker 3: known as Taxachusetts, if they all lose, all the Republicans
- 10:30Speaker 3: who are the people that make all the money and
- 10:32Speaker 3: have all the assets and own all the businesses and
- 10:35Speaker 3: pay all the taxes, and those people move to Florida, Texas, Nevada,
- 10:39Speaker 3: you know, Wyoming, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Arizona, Utah, Georgia.
- 10:44Speaker 3: Then the Republican red states will control America and the
- 10:48Speaker 3: Blue states will all be out of business.
- 10:50Speaker 1: And it's happening.
- 10:51Speaker 3: They're voting that way to Argentina, They're voting that way
- 10:54Speaker 3: in other countries around the world. Why they hell aren't
- 10:56Speaker 3: they voting that way in blue states because the Blue
- 10:58Speaker 3: states let in all the illegal foreigners. Same reason Mamdani
- 11:03Speaker 3: is winning in New York City. It's all foreigners, now,
- 11:05Speaker 3: don't you get it? The Great American divorce we can
- 11:08Speaker 3: win without firing a shot and without hiring a divorce attorney. Okay,
- 11:12Speaker 3: it could be one. Just if we all move and
- 11:14Speaker 3: bring all our money to Red States.
- 11:16Speaker 1: It's all over for the Blue States. New York City's done,
- 11:19Speaker 1: It's finished.
- 11:21Speaker 3: Mandami is going to be the final curse of New York.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Say goodbye.
- 11:26Speaker 3: It's going to be a foreign state in the middle
- 11:28Speaker 3: of the United States, filled with Muslims, illegal aliens, Muslim radicals,
- 11:32Speaker 3: hate America, hate white people that want to kill Jews,
- 11:35Speaker 3: and illegal aliens who all need welfare cradle to grave
- 11:38Speaker 3: and foodstamps cradle to grave and everybody on welfare.
- 11:41Speaker 1: And that's it. That'll be New York City, and that'll
- 11:43Speaker 1: be in New York State. Bye bye. We'll see in
- 11:47Speaker 1: a second. Hi.

- 12:50Speaker 3: Hi, this is Wayne Alroot for Patriot Critical Minerals.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Here's the raw truth.
- 12:54Speaker 3: Our military dominance, our economic strength, and even our freedom
- 12:57Speaker 3: itself depends on one critical metal most Americans have never
- 13:00Speaker 3: heard of.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Tungsten. Tungsten is the metal of strength.
- 13:03Speaker 3: It's what hardens our tanks, powers our jet fighters, drives
- 13:06Speaker 3: our missiles, and puts steel behind every round of ammunition.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Here's the danger.
- 13:10Speaker 3: China controls eighty percent of the world's supply and ninety
- 13:13Speaker 3: percent of production. If China cuts us off, America's military, power, economy,
- 13:17Speaker 3: and independence all hangs in the balance.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Here's the good news. We have the solution.
- 13:22Speaker 3: Patriot Critical Minerals home to most advanced tungsten deposit in
- 13:26Speaker 3: the entire USA of over nineteen million tons. This is
- 13:29Speaker 3: the kind of discovery that can change the game enough
- 13:31Speaker 3: to break china stranglehold on tungsten. There has never been
- 13:34Speaker 3: a better moment to invest in tungsten. Patriot Critical Minerals
- 13:38Speaker 3: isn't just about mining. It's about securing our freedom and
- 13:40Speaker 3: protecting our homeland. To learn about investment opportunities with Patriot

- 15:06Speaker 1: All right, Wayne LaRue.
- 15:07Speaker 3: A lot of people think this stuff must be scripted. Well,
- 15:09Speaker 3: you know, if I was Hannity or Laura Ingram, yeah,
- 15:11Speaker 3: it's scripted. But Wayne Route does everything off the top
- 15:14Speaker 3: of his head. And I made that up off the
- 15:16Speaker 3: top of my head. The Great American Divorce had been
- 15:18Speaker 3: my idea for a long time, but I never knew how.
- 15:21Speaker 1: It would happen until I just made it up.
- 15:23Speaker 3: Just now, if everybody moves from Blue states to Red states, everybody,
- 15:27Speaker 3: not meaning everyone, but I mean a large amount of
- 15:31Speaker 3: the population with all the money, the retirees and the
- 15:34Speaker 3: business owners and the high income people and the high
- 15:37Speaker 3: asset people if we all moved to red states, which
- 15:41Speaker 3: I did in two thousand and two. First, I moved
- 15:43Speaker 3: in nineteen eighty nine from New York to California when
- 15:46Speaker 3: I thought California was a red state, and then when
- 15:48Speaker 3: it turned totally blue in two thousand and two, I
- 15:50Speaker 3: moved to Nevada, and Nevada is quickly turning all red again.
- 15:54Speaker 3: Nevada went from red to purple purple leaning blue leaning
- 15:59Speaker 3: Democrat to now being a red state again again. It
- 16:02Speaker 3: depends what happens in the midterms as far as congressional seats.
- 16:05Speaker 3: But I know just the other day, Nevada Republican Party
- 16:08Speaker 3: announced that we have more Republicans registered in Nevada than
- 16:11Speaker 3: Democrats for the first time, and I don't know twenty years,
- 16:14Speaker 3: and maybe you know, one of the only two times,
- 16:16Speaker 3: maybe in the last fifty years, Republicans now outnumber Democrats
- 16:20Speaker 3: in Nevada.
- 16:22Speaker 1: That's a miracle. Okay.
- 16:23Speaker 3: We were down by hundreds of thousands just a few
- 16:26Speaker 3: years ago and we have caught up and passed them.
- 16:29Speaker 3: And the reason why is the same reason Florida went
- 16:32Speaker 3: from a blue state or certainly a purple state that
- 16:35Speaker 3: could go either.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Way, but leaned Democrat.
- 16:37Speaker 3: Most of the major office holders the beginning of the
- 16:40Speaker 3: you know year two thousand in Florida, we're Democrats, and
- 16:44Speaker 3: they had Democrat governors and Democrat senators.
- 16:46Speaker 1: And remember the hanging chads.
- 16:49Speaker 3: It was an even Stephens state to the presidential election
- 16:53Speaker 3: between Bush and that ahole al Gore. Thank god we
- 16:58Speaker 3: kept him away from the White House forever, that climate
- 17:01Speaker 3: change fraud. Al Gore lost by hanging chads by the
- 17:05Speaker 3: skin of his You know what, he lost.
- 17:07Speaker 1: An election and we never saw him again.
- 17:09Speaker 3: He grew a beard and disappeared and had sex with
- 17:13Speaker 3: men that he invited to his room to give him
- 17:15Speaker 3: a massage.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Wasn't that a thing?
- 17:17Speaker 3: Didn't didn't some mail messus go to give a massage
- 17:20Speaker 3: to al Gore and claim that he suddenly tried to
- 17:24Speaker 3: have sex with them. I'm pretty sure unless I dreamed
- 17:27Speaker 3: that one up. It was a dream in the middle
- 17:29Speaker 3: of the night. I was sleeping and I dreamt it.
- 17:31Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure that happened. He accused al Gore of
- 17:34Speaker 3: trying to have sex with them in his hotel room.
- 17:36Speaker 3: That makes all the sense in the world. That's what
- 17:38Speaker 3: al Gore was driven to after losing the election, and
- 17:42Speaker 3: losing elections and by a hanging chad is enough to
- 17:45Speaker 3: turn you into a gay man.
- 17:46Speaker 1: So al Gore was gone at that point.
- 17:50Speaker 3: Boom, and suddenly now Florida's the most Republican state in America.
- 17:53Speaker 1: How'd that happen?
- 17:54Speaker 3: Because all of New York and New Jersey and Connecticut
- 17:57Speaker 3: and Pennsylvania, all the blue states moved to Florida and
- 18:02Speaker 3: they made it a red state because the people moving
- 18:04Speaker 3: from the blue states are not Blue Democrats. They were
- 18:07Speaker 3: Republicans running away from the blue state, and they turned
- 18:11Speaker 3: Florida into a red state because so many of them
- 18:13Speaker 3: came there. Same thing is happening in Nevada. Everyone is
- 18:16Speaker 3: leaving California and a few New Yorkers are moving here too.
- 18:19Speaker 3: I'm moving to Las Vegas. But everyone's leaving California for
- 18:22Speaker 3: either Reno or Las Vegas, and they're turning us into
- 18:26Speaker 3: a red state because the people running away are all
- 18:29Speaker 3: Republican voters. So Nevada has suddenly become rand. That's why
- 18:32Speaker 3: we elected Trump in the twenty twenty four election. That's
- 18:35Speaker 3: why we elected a Republican governor lieutenant governor in twenty
- 18:38Speaker 3: twenty twenty twenty two midterm elections, even though we had
- 18:43Speaker 3: mostly Democrats in every other office. But we're starting to
- 18:47Speaker 3: tip red again, and I think it's going to get
- 18:49Speaker 3: really strong, like a snowball going downhill. That's how you
- 18:53Speaker 3: win the Great American Divorce. If the most powerful states
- 18:56Speaker 3: in America, with all the Senators to me, all the
- 18:58Speaker 3: Congressmen editors are two, no matter what you do or
- 19:01Speaker 3: don't do, you have two from each state. Even Delawares too,
- 19:04Speaker 3: even Rhode Island has too, even why is too. California
- 19:08Speaker 3: only gets two, no matter how many people they've got.
- 19:10Speaker 3: So we can't change the Senate, but we can change
- 19:12Speaker 3: the House dramatically to an all red Republican House, and
- 19:17Speaker 3: we'll keep the Senate red, and we'll have the presidency
- 19:20Speaker 3: because we'll change all the electoral votes read too many
- 19:23Speaker 3: red ones, and the Democrats will not be able to
- 19:25Speaker 3: win anymore. All the states that matter will keep growing,
- 19:28Speaker 3: and they'll all be Republican red states, and their economies
- 19:31Speaker 3: will grow, and the Democrat states will collapse, and we
- 19:34Speaker 3: turn America into a red Republican country. That's the Great
- 19:39Speaker 3: American Divorce, all right. VRA is the main title sponsor

- 23:16Speaker 3: Our military dominance, or economic strength, even our freedom itself,

- 23:21Speaker 1: Most Americans have never heard of. Tungsten. Tungsten's the medal
- 23:24Speaker 1: of strength.
- 23:25Speaker 3: That's what hardens our tanks, powers our fighter jets, drives
- 23:28Speaker 3: our missiles, put steel behind every round of AMMO.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Here's the danger.
- 23:32Speaker 3: China controls eighty percent of the world supply ninety percent
- 23:35Speaker 3: of the world's production.
- 23:36Speaker 1: If China cuts us.
- 23:37Speaker 3: Off, we are up the river without a paddle, without

- 24:28Speaker 3: Door Battling the Homeless Epidemic.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Michelle StEB Welcome to the Way All Root Show. How
- 24:33Speaker 1: are you? Thank you so much.
- 24:35Speaker 4: I'm really looking forward to our discussion. I think I'm
- 24:37Speaker 4: going to steal your idea too, and I'm going to say,
- 24:40Speaker 4: I'm going to write a book called How the Homeless
- 24:42Speaker 4: Industrial Complex Fixed Homelessness, and it's going to have a
- 24:46Speaker 4: whole bunch of blank pages and I'm going to be
- 24:49Speaker 4: an Amazon.
- 24:50Speaker 3: Bestselling that's a good idea, How the Democrats saved homelessness?
- 24:54Speaker 1: And the whole book is blank.
- 24:56Speaker 3: All right, So you just released a bu i'mshell report
- 25:00Speaker 3: Michelle Steve exposing how radical left organizations have embedded themselves
- 25:05Speaker 3: within the homelessness advocacy groups. What exactly is going on?
- 25:11Speaker 3: What are they doing? I suit, look, I'm going to
- 25:13Speaker 3: make a big guess here. I'll bet I'll turn out
- 25:14Speaker 3: to be right.
- 25:15Speaker 1: It's just about the money. That's it.
- 25:17Speaker 3: They're trying to get rich off homeless people while they
- 25:20Speaker 3: do absolutely nothing for homeless people. Well, they talk all
- 25:23Speaker 3: day about how wonderful and liberal and progressive they are
- 25:25Speaker 3: because all they do is help homeless people when they
- 25:27Speaker 3: don't help them at all.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Am I about right?
- 25:30Speaker 4: Well the data proves you right, So I may just
- 25:34Speaker 4: give a little context. So in twenty thirteen, President Obama
- 25:40Speaker 4: unveil the whole new approach to homelessness. It was actually
- 25:44Speaker 4: a one size fits all approach called Housing First, and
- 25:48Speaker 4: he promised that this approach, which was basically giving housing
- 25:53Speaker 4: subsidies to the homeless, not any funding for service or
- 26:00Speaker 4: treatment such as mental health treatment, drug and alcohol treatment,
- 26:05Speaker 4: that just giving them housing subsidies was going to end
- 26:09Speaker 4: homelessness in a decade. He literally promised that, and twelve
- 26:13Speaker 4: years later, we're at the highest point ever recorded in
- 26:16Speaker 4: our nation's history, almost thirty five percent increase despite a
- 26:22Speaker 4: three hundred percent increase in public spending under housing firms.
- 26:28Speaker 4: So it's just been a massive failure, and the homeless
- 26:31Speaker 4: industrial complex has benefited tremendously from this. The incredible amount
- 26:39Speaker 4: of money that's gone into They've gotten rich. The homeless
- 26:42Speaker 4: are the ones who are suffering in despair.
- 26:44Speaker 1: They've gotten rich, right, I mean, that's what it comes
- 26:46Speaker 1: down to. It's let me ask you a question.
- 26:49Speaker 3: This is off script, off questions, just off the top
- 26:52Speaker 3: of my head because I think this all the time.
- 26:54Speaker 3: It should be really hard to be homeless in America
- 26:57Speaker 3: because there's so many welfare programs, and it's so easy
- 27:01Speaker 3: to get welfare, and it's so easy to get food stamps,
- 27:03Speaker 3: it's so easy to get disability. There's a million government
- 27:06Speaker 3: programs and Democrats states everybody gets them. So how do
- 27:10Speaker 3: you even wind up homeless? Unless you have mental illness
- 27:13Speaker 3: or a major drug and alcohol problem, it would be
- 27:16Speaker 3: almost impossible to not get checks from the government, so
- 27:19Speaker 3: you would not become homeless, right.
- 27:21Speaker 4: Well, I think it's so. Mental illness and addiction are
- 27:27Speaker 4: significant what I call accompanying factors. They a company about
- 27:33Speaker 4: in terms of homelessness. They about eighty percent of the
- 27:36Speaker 4: homeless are struggling with one or both of those. So, yes,
- 27:40Speaker 4: those are those are They're not necessarily drivers. Sometimes they're
- 27:44Speaker 4: a result of the homelessness.
- 27:47Speaker 1: So what is the driver? What is the driver?
- 27:49Speaker 4: Well, it's a myriad of issues So generational poverty is one, right,
- 27:55Speaker 4: having grown up in a family who you know, where
- 27:59Speaker 4: the parent or parents didn't work, there was domestic violence,
- 28:04Speaker 4: there was you know, maybe addiction issues, and that's what
- 28:07Speaker 4: you learn, right, That's that's how you learn to exist.
- 28:10Speaker 4: But there's also drivers, like you know, domestic violence and
- 28:13Speaker 4: the female population. Criminal histories is also a very difficult
- 28:20Speaker 4: barrier for the homeless to overcome because they you know,
- 28:23Speaker 4: criminal histories prevent you from getting housing, they getting a job,
- 28:28Speaker 4: from getting jobs.
- 28:29Speaker 3: Right.
- 28:30Speaker 4: So there's a myriad of issues that you know lead
- 28:33Speaker 4: to it, and you know there is a small you know,
- 28:37Speaker 4: there's an affordable housing crisis in our country. I will
- 28:40Speaker 4: say there was an affordable housing crisis when they rolled
- 28:44Speaker 4: out this policy that is completely dependent on the availability
- 28:47Speaker 4: of affordable housing for the homeless. So it's really crazy that,
- 28:52Speaker 4: you know, we were dead out of the gate when
- 28:54Speaker 4: this this solution was introduced in twenty thirteen. Bottom line
- 29:00Speaker 4: is housing subsidies alone aren't going to fix this.
- 29:04Speaker 1: You need a.
- 29:05Speaker 4: Myriad of services. The President finally, within four months of
- 29:10Speaker 4: taking office, issued an EO where he basically said this
- 29:15Speaker 4: is not working. Clearly, it's not right. We can all
- 29:18Speaker 4: see it, but the data supports that as well. As
- 29:21Speaker 4: we discussed earlier, and he said, we need to read
- 29:25Speaker 4: for homeless IS funding. We need to reprioritize mental health treatment,
- 29:29Speaker 4: drug and alcohol treatment. We need to clear these encampments,
- 29:32Speaker 4: move people into recovery and restorative programs. And we're going
- 29:37Speaker 4: to start to see a very big shift as government
- 29:41Speaker 4: opens back up and as hud begins to fund recovery
- 29:46Speaker 4: and restoration oriented programs.
- 29:49Speaker 3: So your site in your report, you cite in your report,
- 29:54Speaker 3: I should say that the twenty thirteen policy change.
- 29:57Speaker 1: By hud allowed all this to happen. What was this
- 30:01Speaker 1: policy change?
- 30:02Speaker 3: And by the way, Obama was president in twenty thirteen,
- 30:05Speaker 3: So the man who claimed he.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Cared so much about the homeless and it was such a.
- 30:08Speaker 3: Big Democrat liberal, Barack Obama was president of the United States.
- 30:12Speaker 3: So what was the policy change that kind of supercharged
- 30:15Speaker 3: and led to this giant rise in homelessness.
- 30:19Speaker 4: Yeah, So up until twenty thirteen, hud which is you know,
- 30:24Speaker 4: the federal government is the largest funder of homelessness and
- 30:28Speaker 4: hud IS is the largest is the agency that really
- 30:31Speaker 4: does most homelessness work. Up until twenty thirteen, we funded
- 30:37Speaker 4: mental health treatment, We funded drug and alcohol treatment in
- 30:41Speaker 4: conjunction with different forms of housing, shelters, transitional housing, and
- 30:46Speaker 4: some permanent housing. We also funded employment training. But in
- 30:51Speaker 4: twenty thirteen they said, nope, we're going to take all
- 30:54Speaker 4: that money and we're just going to fund housing subsidies.
- 30:58Speaker 4: And despite massive increases in housing subsidies, homelesses started to
- 31:04Speaker 4: go up because there's so many accompanying issues, as we've
- 31:08Speaker 4: discussed on this uh in this program, and those were
- 31:12Speaker 4: not being addressed. And so people when when mental illness
- 31:17Speaker 4: and addiction are diseases of the brain, and when diseases
- 31:20Speaker 4: go untreated, just like cancer or cardiac you know, cardiac conditions,
- 31:29Speaker 4: when they go untreated, they get worse. And this is
- 31:32Speaker 4: what's happening. The people with these diseases have gotten much worse.
- 31:36Speaker 4: In fact, there's a study, a long term study that
- 31:40Speaker 4: was done in Boston and it followed the homeless who
- 31:46Speaker 4: were struggling with addiction and mental illness who were placed
- 31:49Speaker 4: in housing.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Without those services.
- 31:52Speaker 4: By year five, really half of them were dead, nearly
- 31:57Speaker 4: half of them.
- 31:58Speaker 1: So it just it's not work.
- 32:00Speaker 4: And the President, thank god, has turned the ship in
- 32:03Speaker 4: the right direction with his executive order. We've got a
- 32:06Speaker 4: lot of work ahead to build a system that can
- 32:09Speaker 4: help these people heal and you know, prosper. But it's
- 32:14Speaker 4: good work to be focused on.
- 32:16Speaker 1: You know, bad habits lead to bad lives.
- 32:19Speaker 3: And not only the homeless people have bad habits, but
- 32:22Speaker 3: you know, I've known people. None of the people I
- 32:23Speaker 3: knew were homeless, they had bad habits and they all
- 32:25Speaker 3: met bad ends.
- 32:26Speaker 2: You know.
- 32:26Speaker 3: I used to own a company in Las Vegas, a
- 32:28Speaker 3: gambling company in Las Vegas. Here's a going to one
- 32:30Speaker 3: hundred and fifty employees. This is an interesting story, Michelle.
- 32:33Speaker 1: All of them, all of them were men.
- 32:35Speaker 3: I had a very male oriented telephone room phone, you know,
- 32:40Speaker 3: telephone phone room.
- 32:42Speaker 1: And it just so happened. It was just all guys.
- 32:44Speaker 3: I mean, there were like three women and one hundred
- 32:46Speaker 3: and forty seven men, and they all were like going
- 32:49Speaker 3: to strip clubs, and they were drunks, and they were
- 32:51Speaker 3: doing drugs, they were smoking marijuana, and they were using
- 32:55Speaker 3: their money on a Friday to go to strip clubs
- 32:57Speaker 3: and hookers over the weekend. On Monday, they'd asked me
- 32:59Speaker 3: for a loan. I go, I just paid you a
- 33:01Speaker 3: huge amount of money. You made ten thousand dollars on Friday,
- 33:04Speaker 3: and they said, I went to the casino in the
- 33:06Speaker 3: strip club.
- 33:06Speaker 1: It's gone. Well, it's now all these years later. I
- 33:09Speaker 1: was fifteen years ago.
- 33:10Speaker 3: Today I'm a twelve show's and I don't have a
- 33:12Speaker 3: room full of all these guys.
- 33:13Speaker 1: And I got to tell you, all of.
- 33:14Speaker 3: Them were educated men, by the way, but they had
- 33:16Speaker 3: bad habits. And they were in La Vegas, where lots
- 33:18Speaker 3: of people of bad habits. Today almost every one of
- 33:21Speaker 3: them is dead. They're all dead. Everyone that ever worked
- 33:24Speaker 3: for me has died or or met a very bad end.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Oh, they're giving me out. Stay there, we'll grab you
- 33:29Speaker 1: for the next segment. They'll go anywhere, all right. A
- 33:34Speaker 1: special treat for you.
- 33:35Speaker 3: I want to introduce you to a real hero of
- 33:37Speaker 3: the American energy industry, a legend, Mark Brunner, founder and
- 33:41Speaker 3: CEO of Lost Soldier Oil and Gas in the United States.
- 33:45Speaker 3: Lost Soldier is the last major BCGA basin centered gas accumulation.
- 33:52Speaker 3: This is code for a monster field where gas or
- 33:55Speaker 3: oil is in a basin, which makes the drilling and
- 33:57Speaker 3: production much easier.
- 34:00Speaker 1: You're allegend in the oil industry.
- 34:02Speaker 3: In the gas industry, tell Us about your track record.
- 34:05Speaker 5: Well, I'm a second generation oil and gas guy. My
- 34:08Speaker 5: father in the early nineteen fifties started a company called
- 34:11Speaker 5: tech Star. It later became Texas Oil and Gas. When
- 34:15Speaker 5: it sold out to US Steel, it was the largest
- 34:17Speaker 5: independent in the world. Dell High Pipelines was the largest
- 34:20Speaker 5: gas distribution system in the United States when it sold
- 34:23Speaker 5: out to a US steal. I worked with him for
- 34:26Speaker 5: four years. I've been in the oil and gas ever since.
- 34:29Speaker 5: You would probably know me better as this chairman of
- 34:32Speaker 5: Ultra Petroleum, and Ultra had a pretty good track record,
- 34:37Speaker 5: which you're very familiar with.
- 34:38Speaker 3: I think, well, I think ten thousand dollars investor in
- 34:41Speaker 3: Ultra turned it into thirteen million dollars. Is that correct
- 34:45Speaker 3: in the nine year run of your publicly traded company.
- 34:48Speaker 5: Yeah, at the high that's true.
- 34:50Speaker 3: Ten thousand dollars turned into thirteen million. That means one
- 34:52Speaker 3: hundred thousand dollars turned into one hundred and thirty million.
- 34:55Speaker 3: That's an incredible track record. Now tell me why this
- 34:58Speaker 3: deal lost sold? This project is so special. I hear
- 35:02Speaker 3: about projects and deals all the time. What makes this
- 35:06Speaker 3: one special?
- 35:07Speaker 1: Mark?
- 35:07Speaker 5: What's special about this is all the other basins of
- 35:10Speaker 5: the United States have been drilled. We've known for fifty
- 35:12Speaker 5: years what they are. This one could not be drilled
- 35:15Speaker 5: because there was a uranium mine out here. Until it
- 35:18Speaker 5: was reclimated three years ago. No one could drill it.
- 35:21Speaker 5: This is surrounded by large oil and gas fields with
- 35:25Speaker 5: billions of dollars of infrastructure that at this point eighty
- 35:28Speaker 5: five percent empty. So we made this discovery. We are
- 35:32Speaker 5: the only operator in this field, and right now we
- 35:36Speaker 5: can see that we've got enough room for five hundred
- 35:38Speaker 5: horizontal wells out here with what we drilled so far.
- 35:41Speaker 5: Very exciting. It's the new basin in the United States,
- 35:45Speaker 5: and as far as I'm concerned, this is an order
- 35:48Speaker 5: of magnitude bigger than ultra petroleum, the one that I did,
- 35:52Speaker 5: all right.

- 38:08Speaker 3: with Michelle Steve, visiting fellow at Discovery Institute's Fix Homelessness Initiative,
- 38:14Speaker 3: author of answers Behind the Red Door Battling the Homeless Epidemic. So, Michelle,
- 38:21Speaker 3: I'm sitting here with my good friend Petar, my director
- 38:23Speaker 3: who's directed me on TV for.
- 38:26Speaker 1: Thirty five years since.
- 38:28Speaker 3: I became the youngest anchorman in America at age twenty
- 38:31Speaker 3: six back in nineteen eighty nine. I'm a dinosaur, I'm
- 38:35Speaker 3: a fossil. I've been on TV for forty years. But
- 38:38Speaker 3: Patar and I both lived in California. I lived in Malibu,
- 38:41Speaker 3: he lived in Santa Monica, and we both saw homeless
- 38:45Speaker 3: people all the time in Santa Monica, living by the beach.
- 38:49Speaker 1: And it's because California has great weather. Right.
- 38:51Speaker 3: If you're homeless and you don't live in Californians as
- 38:53Speaker 3: opposed to like Illinois, you gotta be insane, right, And
- 38:56Speaker 3: they offer the most money, the biggest benefits. You get
- 38:59Speaker 3: the most money money if you go to California and
- 39:01Speaker 3: you're poor, so homeless all go to Santa Monica and
- 39:05Speaker 3: California in general. And so I'm just going to ask
- 39:08Speaker 3: you about California. It's the state with the most homeless people,
- 39:12Speaker 3: I think by a mile, right, it's the homeless epicenter
- 39:16Speaker 3: of America.
- 39:17Speaker 4: Yes, it has about forty percent of the nation's overall
- 39:22Speaker 4: unsheltered population percent. That's amazing, the overall homeless population in
- 39:29Speaker 4: the country. And I want to point out an important fact.
- 39:33Speaker 4: We talked about housing first, the policy that HUD rolled
- 39:37Speaker 4: out in twenty thirteen that was all focused on housing
- 39:41Speaker 4: subsidies only, right, Right, In twenty sixteen, California.
- 39:47Speaker 1: Was the only state in the.
- 39:48Speaker 4: Nation to follow the Feds in adopting housing first. So
- 39:52Speaker 4: that meant all the federal money in the state went
- 39:54Speaker 4: to housing subsidies and all the state money went to
- 39:57Speaker 4: housing subsidies. California is increase in homelessness since twenty sixteen
- 40:03Speaker 4: is forty percent. Massive failure across the massive failure in California,
- 40:12Speaker 4: and it's largely because there's no accountability in the system.
- 40:16Speaker 4: Not at the individual level. You get a housing subsidy
- 40:19Speaker 4: for life, you don't you never have to work, you
- 40:21Speaker 4: don't have to get sober, you don't have to do
- 40:23Speaker 4: anything to really participate in your life. And at the
- 40:27Speaker 4: nonprofit level, there's a lot of great nonprofits, but HUT
- 40:31Speaker 4: is not holding them to account.
- 40:33Speaker 1: You should be able to, you.
- 40:37Speaker 4: Know, get money the following year is a nonprofit if
- 40:41Speaker 4: you actually solve homelessness. But the people you're serving, right,
- 40:45Speaker 4: if you get them out of homelessness, that's not what
- 40:48Speaker 4: they're being held to account for. They're being held to
- 40:52Speaker 4: account for how many people get housing subsidies.
- 40:55Speaker 1: That's it, and it's that the government.
- 40:58Speaker 3: It's all basically money laundering. That's what's going on. Is
- 41:01Speaker 3: this money lauder. They're taking in, you know, seventy grand
- 41:04Speaker 3: per person that they help, and they keep fifty of
- 41:06Speaker 3: it and maybe they give twenty to the problem of homelessness.
- 41:09Speaker 3: So they're getting rich, but the homeless are not getting
- 41:11Speaker 3: the money and the problem isn't being solved.
- 41:13Speaker 1: So how do we stop the money laundering?
- 41:15Speaker 3: Give me like a close now, this is your closing
- 41:18Speaker 3: moment for how we change things and stop the money
- 41:21Speaker 3: laundering by primarily liberal Democrat funded groups.
- 41:24Speaker 4: By the way, so I encourage all of your listen
- 41:29Speaker 4: readers and listeners and viewers to read the Infiltrated Report.
- 41:35Speaker 4: It's called the Infiltrated Report. You can get it at
- 41:37Speaker 4: Discovery dot com, Discovery Institute. It's Capital Research Center report.
- 41:43Speaker 4: We collaborated with them. It is fifty four pages of
- 41:47Speaker 4: sources showing how radical left groups have infiltrated the homeless,
- 41:54Speaker 4: you know, advocacy organizations. They share donors, they share strategies,
- 42:00Speaker 4: and they have gotten rich off of this.
- 42:02Speaker 1: Do you remember the Supreme Court? Oh we froze. I
- 42:08Speaker 1: guess I guess she froze. All right, Oh she's back,
- 42:11Speaker 1: she's back. Yeah, close for a minute.
- 42:14Speaker 4: Oh sorry, And anyway, that the groups that signed on
- 42:18Speaker 4: to say that homeless encampments could continue to exist, that
- 42:22Speaker 4: cities didn't have the right to enforce them were nonprofits
- 42:26Speaker 4: seven hundred nonprofits that took in two point nine billion.
- 42:29Speaker 1: Dollars of unbelievable.
- 42:33Speaker 3: I take in no government fundy. I never take a
- 42:35Speaker 3: die in my life for the government. These people live
- 42:37Speaker 3: off government.
- 42:38Speaker 1: It's amazing. Michelle Steve.
- 42:39Speaker 3: Her book is called Answers Behind the Red Door Battling
- 42:43Speaker 3: the Homeless Epidemic, but her answers are not the typical
- 42:46Speaker 3: liberal answer. She's trying to actually help and not siphon
- 42:49Speaker 3: off all the money for herself. She's not a money
- 42:52Speaker 3: launderer like all these other people. Thank you for what
- 42:54Speaker 3: you do, Michelle.
- 42:55Speaker 1: Appreciate it. God bless you. Appreciate it all right.
- 42:59Speaker 3: Once in a while you find good people in this
