- 1:03Speaker 2: weekend that is when we're recording a couple of days
- 1:05Speaker 2: after that, and it was good. We stayed up there
- 1:10Speaker 2: Friday to Monday. Perfect, it was good times. The beginning
- 1:15Speaker 2: of the weekend wasn't It was kind of gross and cold,
- 1:19Speaker 2: and then by the end it was super hot.
- 1:22Speaker 3: Weird. That weekend though, is always such a crapshoot.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Like I know, it's it's usually pretty bad weather.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Actually, oh yeah, yeah, we used to go camping everymorial
- 1:32Speaker 3: day weekend. It was like sometimes we needed winter coats
- 1:34Speaker 3: and sometimes it was one hundred degrees.
- 1:37Speaker 2: That's how that first day was that Saturday, and that
- 1:40Speaker 2: was when I like fish the most. It was just
- 1:42Speaker 2: I was chilled to the bone.
- 1:45Speaker 3: It was so cold, which is funny because it's been
- 1:49Speaker 3: so warm since then.
- 1:51Speaker 2: I know, such a weird, strange.
- 1:53Speaker 3: Weird well weather in Minnesota. I know, it's what you're
- 1:56Speaker 3: all here for.
- 1:57Speaker 2: You're all here for two weeks ago or whatever it do, right,
- 2:03Speaker 2: But it was really fun. We had a good time
- 2:05Speaker 2: up there. It's just so pretty.
- 2:08Speaker 3: Do you guys have a.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Whole crew up there?
- 2:09Speaker 3: Again?
- 2:10Speaker 2: It was it was just us and million laws.
- 2:13Speaker 3: So well, it's kind of nice too in a way.
- 2:15Speaker 2: It was well and they have Kelsey's aunt and uncle.
- 2:21Speaker 2: They are also like in the same bay, which is crazy,
- 2:25Speaker 2: and so their kids were down with their kids.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Love that. Okay, people, there are.
- 2:33Speaker 2: People around, but not everybody is in that house anymore.
- 2:35Speaker 2: So it's a little.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Uh. That is a secret dream. I have to someday
- 2:40Speaker 3: just join you guys on that lake and then I
- 2:42Speaker 3: can just be around.
- 2:44Speaker 2: That would be the coolest because that's like my favorite spot.
- 2:49Speaker 2: I love it so much.
- 2:50Speaker 3: And obviously I've been there. I've been lucky enough to
- 2:52Speaker 3: go there with you guys like a bunch over the years,
- 2:54Speaker 3: and it's just it's great over there, so it would
- 2:57Speaker 3: be lovely.
- 2:58Speaker 2: So it's a good weekend.
- 2:59Speaker 3: That's great. What do you do?
- 3:01Speaker 2: Anything fun? Have you been?
- 3:02Speaker 3: I just I kind of hung out with Brandon for
- 3:05Speaker 3: a bit because we got the wedding coming up soon, as.
- 3:08Speaker 2: You well know, I do. You're officiating.
- 3:11Speaker 3: I am officiating, yes, So we went through the whole
- 3:14Speaker 3: rigamarole for that. It's gonna be it's gonna be just
- 3:16Speaker 3: like me, short and sweet, but it'll be a great time.
- 3:20Speaker 3: But I was kind of like, do you guys want
- 3:21Speaker 3: to talk about this and then stop thinking about it
- 3:24Speaker 3: because I'm sure you're sick of you know, just like
- 3:27Speaker 3: the planning and all that stuff. They were like, yes please,
- 3:32Speaker 3: so and as is my regular thing, I was like, cool,
- 3:35Speaker 3: Well I'll be over also, Brandon, prepare some hamburgers for us.
- 3:39Speaker 3: That would be great, Thank.
- 3:40Speaker 2: You so much.
- 3:40Speaker 3: You did some grilling, Yeah, we did a little grilling.
- 3:43Speaker 4: We hung out.
- 3:43Speaker 3: I rode the motorcycle down there and back, so it
- 3:46Speaker 3: was super fun.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Beautiful.
- 3:48Speaker 3: I actually bought I don't even know if I told
- 3:50Speaker 3: you this. I bought another motorcycle. So that's fun.
- 3:54Speaker 2: You own two motorcycles.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Technically I own two. I've never seen the other one.
- 3:58Speaker 3: I've never ridden the other one. But my brother found
- 4:01Speaker 3: this really good deal up north and he was like,
- 4:03Speaker 3: do you want this? And I was like, yeah, I
- 4:05Speaker 3: think I do, so I'm going to sell the one,
- 4:07Speaker 3: but I upgraded a tiny bit, so uh wow. I
- 4:11Speaker 3: was still waiting to get that. But it must have
- 4:13Speaker 3: spurred me to be in the mood. But yeah, so
- 4:15Speaker 3: I rode that a bunch this weekend. I rode like,
- 4:18Speaker 3: I don't know, probably four or five hours total. So
- 4:21Speaker 3: it was great. It's really fun. The weather was great, yeah,
- 4:25Speaker 3: I kind otherwise nice. I actually really the colder day
- 4:29Speaker 3: is my preferred day for a bike rind.
- 4:31Speaker 2: I imagine you got to wear all those clothes. Yeah, yeah,
- 4:35Speaker 2: I would think it wouldn't be.
- 4:37Speaker 3: It's just when you stop, you know, like a stop
- 4:40Speaker 3: sign or something, it's like I'm on fire. Oh no, yeah,
- 4:44Speaker 3: And then I almost burned my butt cheeks when I
- 4:46Speaker 3: got on the seat the one day because I did
- 4:49Speaker 3: not usually I put my coat over the seat when
- 4:52Speaker 3: I leave, and I forgot because it was early in
- 4:54Speaker 3: the season and I was like, oh my butt, it's
- 4:57Speaker 3: so hot.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Oh no, Well, you have to stop wearing the useless chaps.
- 5:01Speaker 3: I will, I will not, you know that that's my one.
- 5:05Speaker 3: I'll work full armor. But most butt cheeks are flapping.
- 5:11Speaker 3: It's actually kind of shocking that I've never owned chaps
- 5:16Speaker 3: and warn them without pants.
- 5:17Speaker 2: That's crazy. It is weird. We should probably rectify that.
- 5:20Speaker 3: I gotta can we start this in ten minutes? I'm
- 5:23Speaker 3: gonna I gotta do some amazon ing. Wow. But yeah,
- 5:28Speaker 3: it was a great weekend. Just did just chilling out
- 5:31Speaker 3: was awfully.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Did you get to watch anything fun?
- 5:34Speaker 3: I did? Actually both of these movies were from last weekend. Cool.
- 5:38Speaker 3: I went and saw The Mandalorian and Grogu a Star
- 5:41Speaker 3: Wars story nice or Star Wars I don't remember how
- 5:46Speaker 3: they're naming convention. This was a fun It was a
- 5:49Speaker 3: movie adaptation of the show which we've I think both
- 5:53Speaker 3: watched and liked a great deal. Heck you super fun.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Grogu continues to be just adorably sweet. I will say
- 6:01Speaker 3: I had a super fun time with this. I feel
- 6:04Speaker 3: like it's getting like not great reviews. And I also
- 6:07Speaker 3: kind of get that it's pretty light on the story,
- 6:10Speaker 3: but I had I had a ton of fun. If
- 6:12Speaker 3: you just think of it as like an extended episode,
- 6:15Speaker 3: I think you're gonna have a good time. It feels
- 6:17Speaker 3: to me a little bit like people are like I
- 6:19Speaker 3: thought they had really had their hopes up or something.
- 6:22Speaker 3: I just really enjoyed it. I thought it was fun.
- 6:24Speaker 3: And you know, they're they're super great together. I don't know,
- 6:28Speaker 3: I had a lovely time.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Yeah, i'm seeing critics sixty two, audience eighty eight. Oh
- 6:34Speaker 2: that's actually higher than I thought. So that's good.
- 6:37Speaker 3: A lot of action, you know, like Star Wars, fun stuff.
- 6:41Speaker 3: Sigourney weavers in this one more, which is fun.
- 6:44Speaker 2: She needs another franchise, she needs seriously, she's amazing.
- 6:50Speaker 3: I'm bored, Get me, get me going.
- 6:53Speaker 2: She was just in the last Avatar. She's in all
- 6:55Speaker 2: the avatars.
- 6:56Speaker 3: She's been in all those yeah, which I still haven't
- 6:58Speaker 3: seen the latest one, but her check clears either way.
- 7:01Speaker 3: I don't think it's dependent on me seeing them, So
- 7:03Speaker 3: that's good for her.
- 7:05Speaker 2: Yeah, she's doing it fine. She's doing just mine.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Yeah, and she's still really great. She was really fun.
- 7:10Speaker 3: In this. Yeah, man, and what a gig for Pedro
- 7:14Speaker 3: Pascal because he only has to do a few of
- 7:17Speaker 3: the scenes where he's out of the suit. That's crazy,
- 7:21Speaker 3: just voiceover stuff, but he he.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Still is walking around or does he have somebody else?
- 7:27Speaker 3: So the and I only know this because they are
- 7:30Speaker 3: listed very early. There's two people who do the stunts
- 7:33Speaker 3: for the in the suit and they are listed super
- 7:36Speaker 3: early in the credits. They're actually second and third build
- 7:38Speaker 3: I think, wow in the credits, which I assume he
- 7:42Speaker 3: had some part in, which is great because he's such
- 7:44Speaker 3: a bench. He's really making men look good all around. Really,
- 7:49Speaker 3: Pedro Pescal doesn't miss. But yeah, and one of them,
- 7:52Speaker 3: Brendan Wayne, one of the people in the suit is
- 7:55Speaker 3: John Wayne's kid. And I randomly heard that grand probably
- 7:59Speaker 3: grank it seems more crazy, But yeah, isn't that weird?
- 8:03Speaker 2: That's crazy that he's stuck with Wayne since that was
- 8:05Speaker 2: a made up name.
- 8:07Speaker 3: Yeah, isn't it funny? You know he's like, well, I
- 8:10Speaker 3: know where my bread is buttered?
- 8:12Speaker 2: What am I doing exactly? Also I probably would absolutely.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Sort of sac name anyway, right, so sure, yeah, yeah,
- 8:20Speaker 3: in fact, I might be you know, Eric Dinofrio. If
- 8:23Speaker 3: I ever take up acting again or anything, just no relation,
- 8:26Speaker 3: but I'm gonna do it. Yeah, I'm gonna do it.
- 8:29Speaker 2: People asked the question, Yeah, that's great.
- 8:32Speaker 3: But how about you, buddy, what have you been watching?
- 8:34Speaker 2: I watched one with the kiddos. We've been doing family
- 8:36Speaker 2: movie nights and we've been having a hard time choosing,
- 8:40Speaker 2: so we've picked it so that like one person gets
- 8:43Speaker 2: to choose on the weekend.
- 8:45Speaker 3: That's a cute. I love that. Love that's a cute.
- 8:47Speaker 2: I did, and it was Charlie's turn this time, and
- 8:50Speaker 2: he picked Captain Underpants, the first epic movie.
- 8:55Speaker 3: A great pick. What did he think?
- 8:57Speaker 2: Have you ever seen it?
- 8:58Speaker 3: No, I've never seen the captainnder but I do like
- 9:00Speaker 3: the name a lot.
- 9:02Speaker 2: It's pretty great. So Captain Underpants is a pretty pretty
- 9:07Speaker 2: big kids series books. This movie came out in twenty seventeen.
- 9:14Speaker 2: I was surprised I hadn't seen it since we had
- 9:16Speaker 2: read those books. I really like the sense of humor.
- 9:21Speaker 2: It actually had me laughing in some spots. It's about
- 9:24Speaker 2: a couple of boys who hypnotize their teacher and turn
- 9:27Speaker 2: him into a superhero Captain underput.
- 9:30Speaker 3: Oh wow, that's a fun idea.
- 9:34Speaker 2: It is fun, and the boys are voiced by Kevin
- 9:37Speaker 2: Hart and Thomas middle Ditch and Captain Underpants is Ed Helms.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Wonderful and you got a bunch of supporting voices that
- 9:44Speaker 2: you would recognize. But I had a really good time.
- 9:47Speaker 2: I'm surprised they haven't made another one, but they have
- 9:52Speaker 2: been rocking out a series on Netflix now for the
- 9:55Speaker 2: last few years, so I think that's kind of where
- 9:58Speaker 2: they pivoted. And those are really funny, dude, like that. Well,
- 10:02Speaker 2: I wouldn't probably watch it by myself. It has adult
- 10:08Speaker 2: humor in it, and I really appreciate it.
- 10:10Speaker 3: I mean, I'm seeing here one of the characters is
- 10:13Speaker 3: Professor poopy Pants, so like, yes, how could that be
- 10:15Speaker 3: more up our rally?
- 10:17Speaker 2: I mean, I'm pretty sure Professor poopy Pants was Nick
- 10:19Speaker 2: kro Is, Nick Crole.
- 10:21Speaker 3: Yeah, he was doing.
- 10:22Speaker 2: This ridiculous but his real name was like Diarrhea, Like
- 10:29Speaker 2: it's ridiculous, dude, it's a really diarrhea release or something. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 10:35Speaker 2: that's but I don't know. I had fun. It's on Netflix.
- 10:40Speaker 2: If you got kiddos, they might enjoy it.
- 10:42Speaker 3: That's super fun. Do you find that as they are
- 10:45Speaker 3: Like I feel like they're getting to that sort of
- 10:47Speaker 3: like tweener age for movies, Like, is that getting harder
- 10:51Speaker 3: to find something?
- 10:52Speaker 2: Yeah, everyone's into you know what.
- 10:54Speaker 3: I mean, like, you know, and not hard, but just
- 10:58Speaker 3: like maybe harder to I'm thost home Runs or something.
- 11:01Speaker 2: It is, yeah, because like Lyddy doesn't really want to
- 11:04Speaker 2: watch the animated stuff anymore. And even though so many
- 11:08Speaker 2: of the atomated ones are great as we know, of course,
- 11:12Speaker 2: but also you know, the real adult stuff, we can't
- 11:15Speaker 2: watch that either, so it's.
- 11:16Speaker 3: Like too scary or like you can't be watching this
- 11:19Speaker 3: yet or whatever.
- 11:21Speaker 2: So it's like high school musical and things like that.
- 11:24Speaker 3: Oh that's fun though, Yeah, got to get you get
- 11:27Speaker 3: to get your head in the game. There it is,
- 11:29Speaker 3: as it were. Oh my god, that's the only thing
- 11:32Speaker 3: from that joy.
- 11:33Speaker 2: That's amazing, dude. Yeah, I didn't watch any of those.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Those were past my time, and so that makes sense.
- 11:39Speaker 2: I now get to watch them and they're something.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Oh they're cheesy, but you know, yeah, I'm sure that's
- 11:45Speaker 3: what our parents thought too, right for sure. Imagine though,
- 11:49Speaker 3: when they get to the point where they're like wanting
- 11:51Speaker 3: to see new releases, you're going to be in your
- 11:52Speaker 3: friggin glory.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Oh I'm gonna love It'll.
- 11:55Speaker 3: Be the same as you when you went with your
- 11:57Speaker 3: dad to all those and everything.
- 11:58Speaker 2: You know, that's one I started early though that My
- 12:01Speaker 2: folks were just like, let's just watch oh yeah, all
- 12:05Speaker 2: the stuff.
- 12:05Speaker 3: It was a different time for us.
- 12:07Speaker 2: It was. It really was.
- 12:08Speaker 3: Remember you know, booms are shut up? Watch the dish
- 12:11Speaker 3: sh up.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Yeah, it's wonderful.
- 12:15Speaker 3: I love that.
- 12:15Speaker 2: What have you been streaming?
- 12:17Speaker 3: This isn't a stream but I was at the theater
- 12:19Speaker 3: again this last weekend, uh and saw his horror film.
- 12:23Speaker 2: You did not see it?
- 12:25Speaker 3: No, this is what I hadn't heard of. Drab was
- 12:28Speaker 3: super interested in this one, and you know, I just
- 12:30Speaker 3: went because what else do I have to do? This
- 12:32Speaker 3: was called obsession? Have you heard about?
- 12:34Speaker 2: That's what I'm talking about. Okay, thing's going to be
- 12:39Speaker 2: most successful movie of all time. Wait really, because they
- 12:45Speaker 2: made it for under a million dollars and so they're
- 12:48Speaker 2: already closing in on a hundred million, or maybe they
- 12:51Speaker 2: already hit it, and so I'm out of the loop.
- 12:54Speaker 3: I didn't know that.
- 12:55Speaker 2: It's crazy brouh Well.
- 12:58Speaker 3: That is nuts that they made it for that cheap
- 13:01Speaker 3: kind of explains why I didn't know anyone in it.
- 13:04Speaker 3: But those horror movies you never know, like actually kind
- 13:08Speaker 3: of like it's a horror movie, so it's not like
- 13:10Speaker 3: fun necessarily, but it had a lot of humor to
- 13:13Speaker 3: it that I thought was really funny that the like
- 13:16Speaker 3: sort of the gist of it is a guy makes
- 13:18Speaker 3: like a monkey paw wish sort of thing, you know,
- 13:21Speaker 3: where like something happens that he didn't expect, how many
- 13:25Speaker 3: hope he wishes that this gal will like fall in
- 13:27Speaker 3: love with him and love him more than anyone else
- 13:30Speaker 3: in the world. And chaos enzus from there genuinely very
- 13:34Speaker 3: gross at parts and very scary, but has some funny moments.
- 13:40Speaker 3: And there was one moment where I was like I
- 13:43Speaker 3: knew the game plan. I was like, clearly something's gonna happen.
- 13:46Speaker 3: We can see the background out of this car, someone's
- 13:50Speaker 3: coming up to the car window. I know what's happening.
- 13:53Speaker 3: And I jumped like nobody's it's still I was like,
- 13:56Speaker 3: this is clearly what's next. And I was still like,
- 13:59Speaker 3: oh God, but it takes us Yeah, So I definitely
- 14:03Speaker 3: got me going that way, But I really liked it.
- 14:05Speaker 3: I rated it an eight actually, because I was like,
- 14:07Speaker 3: this was actually kind of interesting. It wasn't a take
- 14:11Speaker 3: I'd seen before in a horror movie. They had some
- 14:15Speaker 3: fun stuff going on in it, so yeah, that's crazy.
- 14:18Speaker 3: And I think the person who directed it's like eighteen
- 14:21Speaker 3: or something or twenty years young for sure.
- 14:24Speaker 2: He so I actually know of him. He would do
- 14:27Speaker 2: all these different like little YouTube shorts or even tiktoks
- 14:31Speaker 2: really wow, and they were always really funny, like the
- 14:35Speaker 2: characters that they created in the plots that they came
- 14:38Speaker 2: up with, and like high quality for you know, those
- 14:42Speaker 2: kind of things. And yeah, it's just it's crazy.
- 14:45Speaker 3: Hurry Barker is his name, Gray Barker, But that makes
- 14:49Speaker 3: total sense because I like, my favorite part about this
- 14:52Speaker 3: movie was it had some legitimately funny stuff in it,
- 14:55Speaker 3: which was really sure a good time. So apparently everyone
- 14:58Speaker 3: else is seeing it. So if you like a horror film,
- 15:00Speaker 3: you're gonna enjoy this. If you don't, it's it's gross
- 15:03Speaker 3: and scary at points, so yeah, don't check it out.
- 15:06Speaker 3: It's not as fun as like Weapon was. I didn't think, Yeah,
- 15:10Speaker 3: that's some that I was waiting for.
- 15:12Speaker 2: That still got me so bad, and like, actually made
- 15:15Speaker 2: me laugh out loud, absolutely, just like you bastards look
- 15:19Speaker 2: got me in particular, or do we You're like waiting
- 15:26Speaker 2: for someone to come out of the house, and they
- 15:30Speaker 2: do come out of the house, but the main character
- 15:34Speaker 2: has fallen asleep in the car. You're just.
- 15:39Speaker 5: Oh, yeah, the old bottle naps on there, yes, but
- 15:46Speaker 5: all of that. I was just like, oh yeah, that
- 15:48Speaker 5: was freaking out, dude.
- 15:50Speaker 3: That was the one I told you like. I was
- 15:51Speaker 3: so happy I watched that at home because I was like, yeah,
- 15:54Speaker 3: I was yelling at my screen and walking back and
- 15:57Speaker 3: forth like why are you doing this to me?
- 15:59Speaker 2: Why am I in my bunk? In my bunk on
- 16:02Speaker 2: the bus? And I was just laughing. It was so.
- 16:06Speaker 3: Funny, genuinely scary. But yeah, so check it out. Obsession.
- 16:10Speaker 3: I didn't know I was doing so well. That's really fun.
- 16:12Speaker 2: But that's cool.
- 16:13Speaker 3: What have you've been streaming? Pal?
- 16:15Speaker 2: I streamed a new show on HBO Max. It's the
- 16:20Speaker 2: new Steve Carrell show called Rooster.
- 16:22Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I watched I think that whole season as well.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I actually just finished it today. I liked it.
- 16:31Speaker 2: It's pretty good.
- 16:32Speaker 3: Yeah, they were a grand slam, but a very solid show.
- 16:37Speaker 2: I like. I like all the characters they created. So
- 16:42Speaker 2: he plays a novelist Steve Carell does who his daughter's
- 16:46Speaker 2: going through a crisis. She finds out that her husband,
- 16:48Speaker 2: who's played by actor who played Jamie Tart on Ted Lasso.
- 16:53Speaker 2: His name is Phil Dunster, he slept at the student
- 16:57Speaker 2: and there in the process of separating, and so she
- 17:01Speaker 2: works at this college and the president of the college
- 17:05Speaker 2: is John C. McGinley, who's so great in this.
- 17:07Speaker 3: I love him, honestly, a little bit underutilized even I
- 17:11Speaker 3: was like, I could have used more of him. He's
- 17:13Speaker 3: crazy fun though, yeah, much fun.
- 17:17Speaker 2: But he wants Steve Carell to teach a writing course
- 17:19Speaker 2: at the college, and it's it's pretty funny. I've been
- 17:22Speaker 2: enjoying it. Yeah, Like I said, I liked the character building,
- 17:29Speaker 2: and yeah, we'll see if they end up doing more.
- 17:33Speaker 2: It might be one and done. They did leave it
- 17:35Speaker 2: open for that.
- 17:36Speaker 3: I could see that going either way. I don't know
- 17:38Speaker 3: how popular it is, so I'm like, I don't know.
- 17:41Speaker 3: It was fun.
- 17:41Speaker 2: There were a couple of moments where I really laughed, Yeah,
- 17:47Speaker 2: like really hard.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Yeah. Same. Did you know that Charlie Clive from Anything?
- 17:52Speaker 3: The daughter I didn't.
- 17:53Speaker 2: I didn't know her.
- 17:54Speaker 3: I've really liked her. I found myself very I thought
- 17:56Speaker 3: she was really fun and she was really like her
- 18:00Speaker 3: a lot for sure.
- 18:01Speaker 2: And the woman who played her name's Dylan Shepherd.
- 18:07Speaker 3: In here, yeah dead Wiler.
- 18:10Speaker 2: I think is her name Daniel dead Wiler.
- 18:12Speaker 3: Yeah, yes, Daniel Deadwiler.
- 18:14Speaker 2: She's great too.
- 18:14Speaker 3: I liked her a lot. Yeah. I didn't recognize her
- 18:17Speaker 3: really either.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I had recognized it. I watched that Station eleven show,
- 18:22Speaker 2: which was the book that I loved character in that.
- 18:25Speaker 3: I haven't seen that one yet, so, and she.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Was I think Emmett Till's mom in that Till movie.
- 18:30Speaker 2: But anyway, pretty fun. Tony Fel Max ten episodes. They're
- 18:36Speaker 2: only thirty minutes, so you can.
- 18:37Speaker 3: Just pretty much a straight comedy too, Like you don't
- 18:40Speaker 3: have to worry about it getting like too serious on
- 18:42Speaker 3: you at any point, which is pretty fun.
- 18:45Speaker 2: So I enjoyed it. Steve Carrell, he's just doing he's
- 18:47Speaker 2: doing so much, and he's just always solid.
- 18:51Speaker 3: He's just ready, he does ready to work. Yeah, yeah,
- 18:54Speaker 3: really fun, very cool. Well what do he thinks WO
- 18:56Speaker 3: do if you plug the runs?
- 18:57Speaker 4: Here?

- 20:01Speaker 3: They really are like a nude for fun. That's a
- 20:04Speaker 3: good thing. Yeah, it's also something I can relate to.
- 20:07Speaker 3: It's my only move.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Really, it's a great move. It's good move, goods, good move.
- 20:14Speaker 3: That'll be fun. We will look forward to that, Greg.
- 20:16Speaker 3: But we're here today to talk about a lovely film
- 20:20Speaker 3: from twenty sixteen.
- 20:22Speaker 2: I believe tenth anniversary.
- 20:24Speaker 3: Tenth anniversary. This is pop Star Never Stop, Never Stopping Yes,
- 20:30Speaker 3: which is maybe my favorite movie title evert It's really wonderful.
- 20:37Speaker 3: But this is one rob that you guys have watched
- 20:39Speaker 3: a ton on the bus, and so we had to
- 20:40Speaker 3: get one of your bandmates on for this. Hopefully you
- 20:44Speaker 3: guys are in the smooth it over part of your relationship.
- 20:46Speaker 3: But we'll find out. We'll see what drama exists. But yeah,
- 20:51Speaker 3: let's welcome him. His name is Adam.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Rub what's up, buddy?
- 20:57Speaker 4: Everybody?
- 21:00Speaker 3: Who are you?
- 21:01Speaker 4: I'm doctor Nick.
- 21:03Speaker 3: I'm doctor Nick.
- 21:04Speaker 4: Hi everyone, Hi, everybody.
- 21:07Speaker 3: I like that.
- 21:08Speaker 2: I don't know that reference. What does that mean? It's
- 21:10Speaker 2: from the Simpsons, dude, I could do it any crows.
- 21:14Speaker 2: He throws Simpsons quotes at me all the time, and
- 21:17Speaker 2: I never I'm always like I don't know what was every.
- 21:19Speaker 3: So funny rap because I actually say hi everybody quite
- 21:23Speaker 3: a lot on you, thinking you'll respond, and you never do,
- 21:25Speaker 3: and I'm always like, oh, yeah, he didn't really watch
- 21:27Speaker 3: Simpsons that I was watching Simpsons heavy back in the day.
- 21:34Speaker 3: I mean I was heavy and I also watched it
- 21:35Speaker 3: a lot.
- 21:36Speaker 4: And one of my favorite books Doctor Nick quotes is
- 21:39Speaker 4: the when he's like trying to do a TV ad
- 21:42Speaker 4: and he's saying that he could do any surgery for
- 21:45Speaker 4: only forty nine ninety five or something like that, and
- 21:49Speaker 4: he's like, just call one eight hundred, doc tor. But
- 21:53Speaker 4: the bee is for bargain.
- 21:55Speaker 3: And I love it, doctor, and I love it. So here,
- 22:03Speaker 3: that's great.
- 22:03Speaker 4: Here, we are well.
- 22:05Speaker 3: Great to have you backpal. Have you been.
- 22:10Speaker 4: Are the kids listening to this?
- 22:13Speaker 2: There might be apparently not a bunch your kids definitely.
- 22:18Speaker 4: Not my kids, all right on the other effort in
- 22:23Speaker 4: the planet.
- 22:24Speaker 3: So there, I love it.
- 22:26Speaker 2: That's incredible.
- 22:27Speaker 3: Good for you.
- 22:27Speaker 4: Yeah, I love that.
- 22:30Speaker 2: Yeah, for the listener, he is rocking a shirt out.
- 22:34Speaker 2: It's gold, it is beautiful, shiny. It is a very
- 22:40Speaker 2: pop star esque.
- 22:41Speaker 3: Oh yeah, oh now he's doing a little dance.
- 22:44Speaker 2: Yeah, hello, I like that that's enough to join Patreon.
- 22:48Speaker 4: I'll tell you in the music video that we did
- 22:53Speaker 4: so there here is that too.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Which one was the video? Yeah you too.
- 23:01Speaker 4: We did the thrift shopping thing.
- 23:05Speaker 3: Shopping my friend.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Suy. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yep, that was that was
- 23:16Speaker 2: a fun.
- 23:18Speaker 6: So I didn't do anything as it Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 23:28Speaker 6: yeah yeah.
- 23:30Speaker 3: That was just never caught on for whatever reason. You
- 23:35Speaker 3: never know which one.
- 23:36Speaker 4: You never know, you don't, you never know.
- 23:38Speaker 3: Well, you look great, you and you guys are looking
- 23:42Speaker 3: for us the same.
- 23:44Speaker 2: Yeah, but thank you.
- 23:46Speaker 3: Wait, I take that as a combat every day. It's
- 23:50Speaker 3: an improvement to stay looking the same. Yeah, boy, you
- 23:54Speaker 3: know loogal wars you're winning or something like that.
- 23:59Speaker 4: It's a one just knocked on my door. Should I
- 24:01Speaker 4: open it and embarrass them or or or.
- 24:06Speaker 3: That's up to you. They know what you're doing. Yeah,
- 24:14Speaker 3: they're knocking.
- 24:15Speaker 2: They're like, keep it down in there, Hey are you
- 24:17Speaker 2: having fun? And we heard you were the.
- 24:22Speaker 3: Mother effort around.
- 24:23Speaker 4: You'll have to go out and ask mummy. But it's
- 24:25Speaker 4: in the fridge.
- 24:28Speaker 3: You have to go as I also want one, whatever
- 24:31Speaker 3: it is, I'll take two. Three.
- 24:36Speaker 4: It's a bad day because my son has discovered sugar
- 24:39Speaker 4: pop and we're trying to keep that away from him.
- 24:43Speaker 3: At all costs, like soda pops.
- 24:48Speaker 2: So yeah, so like what like sprite or something.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Yeah, just give mountain dew. He'll be okay.
- 24:56Speaker 4: And it's because he was at our friend's house and
- 24:58Speaker 4: then they yeah, seven up. That's how he comes home
- 25:02Speaker 4: and he's like, can you get seven up? I want
- 25:05Speaker 4: seven up? And like that's all he wants to I'm
- 25:08Speaker 4: sure say, it's just like.
- 25:13Speaker 2: A big mountain dew. Kid, didn't you drink like all
- 25:15Speaker 2: the mountain dew? Wasn't that you?
- 25:17Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 25:17Speaker 3: But I.
- 25:20Speaker 4: Kindergarten when I was doing that?
- 25:22Speaker 2: Sure, sure that we know of that? I know of Yeah.
- 25:28Speaker 2: I remember we let Charlie have some root beer. We
- 25:31Speaker 2: were at like a fair or something, and he took
- 25:33Speaker 2: it up. He was like, I like root beer. It
- 25:40Speaker 2: was so great. He's got all big Yeah, yeah, it
- 25:50Speaker 2: was fun.
- 25:51Speaker 3: That's really great.
- 25:53Speaker 4: He always ask for it now though, like can you
- 25:54Speaker 4: get away?
- 25:55Speaker 2: No, we're pretty good. Yeah they don't. They don't really
- 25:58Speaker 2: do any of the SODA's yet, but you know the
- 26:01Speaker 2: rock at Capri Son or something probably has just as
- 26:04Speaker 2: much sugar.
- 26:05Speaker 3: Also delicious, yeah, delicious pretty cool. Adam, are we are
- 26:13Speaker 3: we plugging anything for him?
- 26:16Speaker 2: He's got his Patreon Adam.
- 26:19Speaker 4: No, I don't have Okay, he knocked again.
- 26:24Speaker 3: I am the one who knocks.
- 26:27Speaker 4: We'll see if he goes away.
- 26:33Speaker 7: Those other parents giving him sugar, if he just goes
- 26:36Speaker 7: away answer, and probably just that that's Grandpa's.
- 26:46Speaker 3: Oh it's a beer he try.
- 26:53Speaker 2: Let's slit dag Grandpa's.
- 26:55Speaker 3: Four loco he gets if you drink this.
- 26:59Speaker 4: Actually, they got what they call seventy six ers, and
- 27:02Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 27:02Speaker 3: What that means that he was a seventy six er.
- 27:07Speaker 4: I don't know what was I going to say? Now, Oh, hey,
- 27:12Speaker 4: we can we can talk about D and D. Actually
- 27:17Speaker 4: lovely we can because of you is actually you're coming
- 27:20Speaker 4: to play soon.
- 27:22Speaker 3: Bet your bomb dollar. But my character yeah, oh.
- 27:27Speaker 4: Really out of the out of the sheetacent.
- 27:30Speaker 3: Yeah, we have to talk because I don't know if
- 27:32Speaker 3: it's gonna work, but we'll see what happens.
- 27:34Speaker 4: Oh oh, I'm so, I'm really intrigued. Now it's I
- 27:40Speaker 4: made Yeah, But so basically I made my own I
- 27:43Speaker 4: made my own version of the game essentially, and uh,
- 27:49Speaker 4: it went really well. When I did a fan event recently,
- 27:53Speaker 4: when we had nine players up in Minnesota and it
- 27:56Speaker 4: was awesome and it was really fun. It was a
- 27:59Speaker 4: whole week spent at the local in downtown Minneapolis and
- 28:04Speaker 4: it was nice, the perfect, perfect environment. It's where we
- 28:08Speaker 4: shot Partying Glass. Yeah. So it's an Irish pub, perfect
- 28:13Speaker 4: environment for like D and D except for like the
- 28:16Speaker 4: rowdy soccer bands. But they have they have a private
- 28:21Speaker 4: room there that's like in a almost like an underground
- 28:24Speaker 4: silo kind of cave or underground like with arched ceiling
- 28:29Speaker 4: kind of thing, you know, to it like a dome ceiling.
- 28:31Speaker 4: And it's so aw I mean it's like super quiet
- 28:33Speaker 4: and it's just the perfect environment and I'm just like,
- 28:36Speaker 4: oh my god, this is incredible. So we are going
- 28:39Speaker 4: to be looking to do more of that because it's
- 28:41Speaker 4: just it's really fun. Now, unfortunately those nine players are
- 28:45Speaker 4: already like in already, so we're looking to expand.
- 28:51Speaker 3: I love it.
- 28:52Speaker 4: Yeah, and details will be coming, but stay tuned, I
- 28:56Speaker 4: mean check them. You can check my website. I'm gonna
- 28:58Speaker 4: be updating that and putty more details about how to
- 29:02Speaker 4: become a part of the event in one of these
- 29:07Speaker 4: awesome events and cool for those of you that a
- 29:11Speaker 4: lot of people say that they just don't think they
- 29:13Speaker 4: can handle the complexities of it. I've made it way
- 29:17Speaker 4: simple and easy for anybody to just pick up and
- 29:20Speaker 4: just play. And that's kind of the whole point, is
- 29:23Speaker 4: that it's designed for those that just want to play
- 29:26Speaker 4: and not have to understand a lot of things. You
- 29:28Speaker 4: can just kind of show up and then go, well, yeah,
- 29:32Speaker 4: there it is.
- 29:33Speaker 2: There's my blood love that go to Adam rep Music do.
- 29:40Speaker 3: Very cool. Well, we'll look forward to that. It's going
- 29:43Speaker 3: to be a ton of fun. But we're here today
- 29:45Speaker 3: to talk a little pop Star Never Stop, Never Stopping
- 29:48Speaker 3: Boo boo, and I think we should get right into
- 29:50Speaker 3: rob you want to hit us with our ref SYNOPSI.
- 29:53Speaker 2: Surely pop Star Never Stop, Never Stopping as a mockumentary
- 29:57Speaker 2: that follows self absorbed rapper Connor for Real when his
- 30:03Speaker 2: highly anticipated second album flops, Connor's celebrity life collapses. To
- 30:08Speaker 2: save his career, he must navigate disastrous publicity stunts and
- 30:13Speaker 2: reconcile with his former childhood bandmates to reunite their old group,
- 30:18Speaker 2: the Style Boys.
- 30:20Speaker 3: Style Boys, Love It, Love It Hot Read Hot Read,
- 30:24Speaker 3: Thank You. Let's go to Broughten Tomatos and hear what
- 30:26Speaker 3: they have to say. Critics have this coming in at
- 30:28Speaker 3: a pretty honestly, pretty solid seventy nine percent.
- 30:31Speaker 4: Whoo, that's good.
- 30:32Speaker 3: I'm surprised. Yeah, that was pretty good for a comedy
- 30:35Speaker 3: film for sure. Yeah. Surprisingly, audience members have it at
- 30:40Speaker 3: sixty five person.
- 30:41Speaker 2: That makes sense, zero sense.
- 30:43Speaker 4: I just I don't trust Rotten Tomatoes. I really don't.
- 30:46Speaker 3: Yeah, their their metric is weird, but you know it's
- 30:49Speaker 3: it's kind of it's weird though it's weird to this
- 30:55Speaker 3: and was like I didn't have at least a fine
- 30:59Speaker 3: time get that. It is strange, right, I don't get it.
- 31:03Speaker 3: I mean, critics like it more than it's weird.
- 31:06Speaker 4: I guess you have absolutely no connection to the music
- 31:09Speaker 4: industry whatsoever, like the entire idea, But if you have
- 31:14Speaker 4: no clue about any of that, like you would not
- 31:16Speaker 4: get any of it.
- 31:17Speaker 3: I suppose it's probably true. Yeah, it's probably true.
- 31:20Speaker 4: Like the people that watched Best in Show that actually
- 31:23Speaker 4: were in the like the business of like dog shows
- 31:27Speaker 4: probably had a very different take than everybody else.
- 31:30Speaker 3: That's true. That's a super good point. I never thought
- 31:32Speaker 3: about that, thank you.
- 31:34Speaker 4: That's my only guess.
- 31:37Speaker 3: Yeah, that is weird. Well, let's find out what we think.
- 31:39Speaker 3: It's time for our hot take. Hot take. That's a
- 31:43Speaker 3: hot take.
- 31:45Speaker 2: That's a hot take.
- 31:46Speaker 3: Never think of it ahead of time. The uh, that's.
- 31:52Speaker 2: Hot in the technics.
- 31:55Speaker 3: There's part of technics that happen.
- 31:57Speaker 2: Yeah, mid Tuck, come.
- 32:00Speaker 4: On up your post editing game and put some like
- 32:03Speaker 4: stuff in.
- 32:04Speaker 3: You know, that's a super good idea.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not going to do that.
- 32:10Speaker 3: It is a hot take.
- 32:11Speaker 4: Well, I'm surprised you don't have a soundboard. Oh that
- 32:14Speaker 4: is a thing, yes, but.
- 32:15Speaker 2: You should have.
- 32:16Speaker 3: I put the sound clips in there for sure.
- 32:19Speaker 4: You can just do it on the spot. Then it
- 32:20Speaker 4: just hit the button and the.
- 32:21Speaker 3: Be like, yeah, that felt like a lot of work.
- 32:25Speaker 2: But do you use it every TIMEGSGS, what's your hot take?
- 32:32Speaker 3: My hot take is I'm not going to have a soundboard.
- 32:36Speaker 3: Although it is a good idea and I have thought
- 32:37Speaker 3: about it many times. I've only seen this movie a
- 32:40Speaker 3: couple of times, but I really enjoy it.
- 32:42Speaker 2: I think it is very fun. I think it's a good.
- 32:44Speaker 3: Point to bring up that we will YouTube for sure
- 32:47Speaker 3: are in the music industry and I have at least,
- 32:50Speaker 3: you know, tangential to it. Or was for a long time,
- 32:54Speaker 3: but super funny to see just all this like touring
- 32:58Speaker 3: stuff and it is sort of the like new reversion
- 33:01Speaker 3: of spinal tap in a lot of ways, which is
- 33:03Speaker 3: kind of fun. You can see that lineage in it.
- 33:06Speaker 3: I love a mockumentary style. I think when it's done well,
- 33:09Speaker 3: it's really effective and it's super good at pointing out
- 33:13Speaker 3: how you know, we're all just like cuckoo and like
- 33:16Speaker 3: full of you know, oxymoronic behavior and all that good stuff.
- 33:21Speaker 3: But I had a really good time rewatching this one again.
- 33:23Speaker 3: This is not one I think you guys have definitely
- 33:25Speaker 3: seen it more than I have, which does always happen.
- 33:29Speaker 3: But some really great lines in this. I love the
- 33:34Speaker 3: lonely Lonely Island Boys, right, isn't that what the little
- 33:37Speaker 3: crew is called? They just make great stuff and have
- 33:40Speaker 3: for a long time at this point that I just
- 33:44Speaker 3: really enjoy. And I really like Andy Sambert just he
- 33:49Speaker 3: tickles my funny bone in a way that not a
- 33:51Speaker 3: lot of other people do consistently. So I really had
- 33:55Speaker 3: a great time watching this. I always think like part
- 33:58Speaker 3: of the reason I like those guys is their songs
- 34:02Speaker 3: are pretty good, Like they're they're like, so they're so
- 34:07Speaker 3: possible to be like a legit tune is incredible.
- 34:13Speaker 4: They remind me of what like AI is right now
- 34:15Speaker 4: putting out these you know, stock songs. But sure they
- 34:19Speaker 4: have their comedic uh input on the whole thing.
- 34:23Speaker 3: It's like AI, but better in every single way.
- 34:26Speaker 4: Yeah, run by a human, Yeah.
- 34:30Speaker 3: Which which it is. But I just think it's like,
- 34:32Speaker 3: I think they legitimately could have been music people if
- 34:35Speaker 3: they weren't gone down, and they are I guess in
- 34:38Speaker 3: a way too right, Like I don't mean to mean
- 34:41Speaker 3: what they're doing. I just always think it's really fascinating
- 34:44Speaker 3: how good they are and all that stuff, and then
- 34:46Speaker 3: also the comedy stuff, which is super fun and great
- 34:50Speaker 3: tons of people in this movie that I'm sure ten
- 34:53Speaker 3: years ago I didn't realize I was going to be
- 34:55Speaker 3: so familiar with all these folks, which was really fun.
- 34:58Speaker 3: And we'll talk about that in the Tuche and every thing.
- 35:00Speaker 3: But yeah, overall, it's really had a great time with
- 35:03Speaker 3: this movie. I think it's super, super funny, and I
- 35:07Speaker 3: look forward to like checking in on what everyone swalks.
- 35:09Speaker 3: I think it'll keep being funny. My hottest take is
- 35:12Speaker 3: hot tag. You can tell they're not necessarily music people
- 35:16Speaker 3: because I know you guys, will you know understand this,
- 35:19Speaker 3: But like he wasn't angry enough. I don't think about
- 35:23Speaker 3: only selling fifteen thousand seats to that stadium like that
- 35:26Speaker 3: is an embarrassment.
- 35:28Speaker 2: If I did that, I wouldn't have No, I mean,
- 35:35Speaker 2: I love that bit. Yeah, He's like, just so we
- 35:39Speaker 2: did so good. Yeah, it's so funny.
- 35:42Speaker 4: It's so funny.
- 35:45Speaker 2: But that just cracked me up. So it's just like
- 35:46Speaker 2: fifteen thousand damn.
- 35:48Speaker 3: Yeah, that's crazy. That is as close as I have
- 35:51Speaker 3: to a hot take.
- 35:52Speaker 2: That's a hot take. Bro. This movie is hilarious. I
- 35:56Speaker 2: always knew our guest here, Adam Rapp, thought it was
- 36:00Speaker 2: super funny and he insisted we watch it on the bus.
- 36:03Speaker 2: I had never seen it. I laughed so hard. It's
- 36:06Speaker 2: a perfect bussas movie, perfect glass movie, hanging out with
- 36:11Speaker 2: a bunch of dudes. There's so many jokes and it's
- 36:15Speaker 2: just such a good time. Yeah. This is directed by
- 36:17Speaker 2: Akiva Shaeffer and Yrma Tocony. They both directed it, and
- 36:22Speaker 2: it's written by all the Lonely Island guys. Andy Samberg
- 36:26Speaker 2: included Akiva Shaeffer. He just wrote and directed the New
- 36:30Speaker 2: Naked Gun also a great bus movie, so wonderful. Uh,
- 36:35Speaker 2: and we should just do an episode on that. I
- 36:36Speaker 2: don't know, I wish it because it's so funny, agreed,
- 36:41Speaker 2: Yorma Tocony. He's releasing a movie directing a movie this
- 36:45Speaker 2: year with Jason Siegel and Samorrow Weaving called Over Your
- 36:49Speaker 2: Dead Body, which I.
- 36:50Speaker 3: Just saw a preview for that. That looks fun. Yeah,
- 36:52Speaker 3: it's interesting.
- 36:54Speaker 2: I'm also just such a big fan of Andy Samberg.
- 36:56Speaker 2: Like you said, his dever gets me every time. The
- 37:00Speaker 2: music in this is hilarious, and like you said, the
- 37:03Speaker 2: production is like top notch. Yeah, it's like another level.
- 37:07Speaker 2: If these songs weren't very good, it would bring everything
- 37:10Speaker 2: down quite a bit. So it was cool they spent
- 37:13Speaker 2: that much time with it. All the cameos and this
- 37:16Speaker 2: are incredible. The fact that they got all these musical
- 37:19Speaker 2: icons to pretend that Connor for real in the style
- 37:21Speaker 2: boys are this amazing group, and that they changed music
- 37:26Speaker 2: is so good, so funny to me.
- 37:28Speaker 3: There's really fun trivia about that later too. Yeah, really fun.
- 37:32Speaker 2: But I also love a mockumentary. Thought they pulled it
- 37:35Speaker 2: off really well. My hot take, Oh yes please. The
- 37:40Speaker 2: marketing for this movie. They completely messed it up. I
- 37:43Speaker 2: thought it was just going to be a straight up
- 37:45Speaker 2: Justin Bieber parody, and it was so much more than that. Yeah,
- 37:50Speaker 2: that's why I never saw it, oh and until he
- 37:55Speaker 2: introduced it to me, because I just thought it was
- 37:57Speaker 2: just like a straight up parody of that and it
- 38:00Speaker 2: wasn't this.
- 38:01Speaker 3: Like around the time he had his documentary and stuff, right, yeah, yeah.
- 38:06Speaker 4: Yeah, it was a mockumentary of that specific thing. That's crazy.
- 38:11Speaker 4: I never thought about that, but you were absolutely right.
- 38:14Speaker 2: Yeah, that's why I didn't well watch it at first, right,
- 38:17Speaker 2: I don't.
- 38:18Speaker 3: I don't know what a bummer too, that it's such
- 38:20Speaker 3: a funny movie.
- 38:23Speaker 4: How I watched it the first time, I feel like
- 38:26Speaker 4: almost Nate Stone like got us into watching it or something.
- 38:30Speaker 4: I can't remember how it started. Yeah, it makes sense. No,
- 38:35Speaker 4: I definitely showed it to him first.
- 38:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know you showed it to me.
- 38:39Speaker 3: I know that.
- 38:40Speaker 4: Yeah, Yeah, I was absolutely blown away. That's my hot take,
- 38:44Speaker 4: like it's it is now a staple. Just makes me
- 38:50Speaker 4: feel good. I can put it on almost any time
- 38:53Speaker 4: kind of movie just to like, yes, just to enjoy
- 38:56Speaker 4: the Now that being said, I have watched it too many, sure,
- 39:03Speaker 4: and it's it's been watered down a lot for me.
- 39:06Speaker 4: So I really like the only way I can watch
- 39:08Speaker 4: it now is if it's with somebody that's never seen it,
- 39:12Speaker 4: who I think it's going to really enjoy it. So
- 39:14Speaker 4: like if there was another Rob that I was going
- 39:16Speaker 4: to be like, oh my god, you gotta see it
- 39:17Speaker 4: because I know you're gonna laugh your ass off, then
- 39:20Speaker 4: I would totally be into it.
- 39:22Speaker 2: If we were going to show the longest John's.
- 39:24Speaker 4: Right, right, but I do. I was just going to
- 39:27Speaker 4: get to that. We did we talk about that.
- 39:32Speaker 2: Well, because we did make a gun with them, and
- 39:34Speaker 2: then I think we did talk about pop star. We
- 39:37Speaker 2: never I don't think we ever actually did.
- 39:39Speaker 4: Though, Okay, next time we're together with them, then we
- 39:41Speaker 4: got to do that. That's the next tours. Absolutely we
- 39:44Speaker 4: got to make another priority. But yeah, I was very
- 39:46Speaker 4: excited to show everybody on the bus because I think
- 39:49Speaker 4: I was the only person that saw it.
- 39:52Speaker 3: And Wims didn't see it.
- 39:54Speaker 4: Rob didn't see it, Tim didn't see it. It's like
- 39:57Speaker 4: nobody was saw it, and so I was like, you
- 40:01Speaker 4: gotta we have to watch this. It's gonna be great.
- 40:03Speaker 4: And I could tell there was a reluctancy. But then
- 40:06Speaker 4: as we were, as we were starting to go through it,
- 40:10Speaker 4: there are certain things that didn't hit just right. And
- 40:13Speaker 4: I knew I knew Tim and Chance were on board,
- 40:17Speaker 4: and this kind of bleeds into the favorite line thing,
- 40:20Speaker 4: but I guess I'll save it for later. But no,
- 40:25Speaker 4: your your marketing take is one hundredercent right on, because
- 40:28Speaker 4: I even remember they had Adam Zandberg go on to
- 40:32Speaker 4: American idol as Connor for real to like talk to
- 40:37Speaker 4: the contest weird right and right, and you'd think that
- 40:43Speaker 4: that would be freaking hilarious, and I guess it just
- 40:46Speaker 4: kind of was like, man, yeah, but like like that's
- 40:51Speaker 4: brilliant right in theory, that's incredible.
- 40:55Speaker 3: That's because I could also see those people being like,
- 40:58Speaker 3: this is my dream brownell am, I being of a joke.
- 41:05Speaker 3: I have a joke. Yeah, that would be weird.
- 41:09Speaker 4: As far as though, I mean, this is like like Inkorman.
- 41:14Speaker 3: Too level, it's crazy, Yeah, good call so many.
- 41:20Speaker 4: But yeah, as far as if you have any insight
- 41:25Speaker 4: or just just imagination if you will, of the music
- 41:28Speaker 4: industry and what it is like or was like, because
- 41:32Speaker 4: you know, things have changed so much, this movie can
- 41:36Speaker 4: appeal to you because it hits on so many ideas
- 41:40Speaker 4: and tropes and things that you've thought you've known about
- 41:44Speaker 4: touring and just the industry itself, and it's really really
- 41:48Speaker 4: great like that, but it is based on, like, you know,
- 41:52Speaker 4: what we thought of it in the first decade of
- 41:55Speaker 4: the two thousands, you know, yeah, when things were much
- 42:00Speaker 4: different than they are today.
- 42:01Speaker 3: So yeah, that's crazy. I love it.
- 42:05Speaker 2: Hot take.
- 42:07Speaker 3: Hot take. Well, let's talk about our favorite acting performance.
- 42:10Speaker 3: Shall we name the dude?
- 42:12Speaker 2: Dude?
- 42:13Speaker 3: I'm the dude, so that's what you call me, you
- 42:16Speaker 3: know that, or his dudeus or duder or you know,
- 42:22Speaker 3: el dudo reno. If you're not into the whole brevity
- 42:24Speaker 3: thing and rep who you got for the dude?
- 42:26Speaker 2: Who's your dude?
- 42:27Speaker 4: Bro, I'm going to go I think with Tim Meadows
- 42:32Speaker 4: and their manager.
- 42:33Speaker 3: Wow. I love that pick inspired.
- 42:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I love that inspired.
- 42:39Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, I feel like he did because I never
- 42:45Speaker 4: would have imagined him in the role that he played. Yeah,
- 42:50Speaker 4: and then he played it so well and so humorous
- 42:54Speaker 4: and so flawless that it it worked on just like
- 42:58Speaker 4: every single level. So it's great to see when an actor,
- 43:03Speaker 4: you know, you know, it's the top tier that can
- 43:06Speaker 4: just play all these different characters but then just come
- 43:08Speaker 4: in and you know, it's just it's just like yeah, man,
- 43:11Speaker 4: hell yeah, well done. I say that. But of course
- 43:15Speaker 4: it could be anybody else too, I suppose. I mean,
- 43:18Speaker 4: there's a lot of choices. I guess you could choose
- 43:21Speaker 4: from here, but that's my choice.
- 43:22Speaker 3: Having having him be the fourth to.
- 43:27Speaker 4: Like such a funny bit that we still tell it regularly.
- 43:35Speaker 3: Were there with all these Adams, I know, but it comes.
- 43:39Speaker 4: Up a lot. We need one more so we can.
- 43:41Speaker 3: Go it's like Adam, Adam, Adam Adam.
- 43:47Speaker 4: We tried to do that. We tried to do that
- 43:50Speaker 4: with Chat Chatham because we and it was like the
- 43:56Speaker 4: camera was supposed to go like Adam, and then we'll
- 43:58Speaker 4: get the next Adam and Adam Adam him and then
- 44:00Speaker 4: it turns the chat and we go to chat.
- 44:02Speaker 3: M That's really great. That's a good bit.
- 44:06Speaker 2: Tomatoes is awesome. Spoiler alert. He definitely got my teuch.
- 44:10Speaker 2: But it might be my favorite role he's done in
- 44:14Speaker 2: a movie now Love.
- 44:17Speaker 3: Was he also the manager in Walk Hard? Or was
- 44:19Speaker 3: he like a band he was in? I can't remember.
- 44:23Speaker 2: I just remember the like you don't want.
- 44:25Speaker 3: None of this.
- 44:26Speaker 2: Oh my god, that's so funny too, dude. It's not
- 44:31Speaker 2: habit or it makes all your bad feelings turn into
- 44:38Speaker 2: good feelings, really good what none of it? That's such
- 44:43Speaker 2: a good call, dude.
- 44:47Speaker 3: He's great.
- 44:48Speaker 2: He's so great. I love him in this so much.
- 44:51Speaker 2: He's so funny, like this more than Ladies ma'am though,
- 44:54Speaker 2: come on. I mean, I loved that role on.
- 44:57Speaker 3: Us, but that movie was kind of a I kind
- 45:01Speaker 3: of love it. Yeah, I'm sorry, but I did love
- 45:05Speaker 3: that role. Yeah.
- 45:07Speaker 2: My favorite acting performance of the dude is Andy Samberg.
- 45:10Speaker 2: I mean, he's perfect in this. He's so funny. I
- 45:18Speaker 2: love I mean, it's going to be up for my
- 45:21Speaker 2: favorite scene. But when he is apologizing to Lawrence but
- 45:28Speaker 2: like the whole time, it's like, well, sorry that I
- 45:32Speaker 2: like wrote the whole thing, and he's like, okay, I
- 45:34Speaker 2: didn't actually, And he does that for like five minutes
- 45:38Speaker 2: and he's really good at but vocally, yeah, somehow, that
- 45:46Speaker 2: is so amazing. I loved every bit of that. But
- 45:49Speaker 2: he just yeah, so funny, so talented.
- 45:53Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, he's It might be the easy answer, but
- 45:57Speaker 3: the one I picked, too, Uh. I picked Andy Sambert
- 46:00Speaker 3: because I just think he's also kind of the same
- 46:03Speaker 3: character and everything he does, but I love that character
- 46:06Speaker 3: so much, and he never feels it never feels quite
- 46:09Speaker 3: the same either, But it is weird.
- 46:12Speaker 4: Every single thing he does, he's like the same thing.
- 46:14Speaker 4: It feels like amazing, like kind of.
- 46:18Speaker 3: Has some heart.
- 46:19Speaker 4: But was a TV show you like him? Brooklyn Wait was, Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 46:28Speaker 4: I can. It's hard to get for him to get
- 46:31Speaker 4: away from Yeah, I guess yeah, but that that movie
- 46:38Speaker 4: Palm Springs is that, yeah, very much. It's like similar
- 46:42Speaker 4: to that too, you know.
- 46:43Speaker 3: It's just he's like kind of a fast talking like
- 46:46Speaker 3: he's a defense but he's cool too, you know. So
- 46:48Speaker 3: it's like all these things are believable.
- 46:52Speaker 2: He does it kind of cocky but vulnerable and even
- 46:58Speaker 2: self deprecating to really confident, deeply.
- 47:01Speaker 3: Questions himself.
- 47:05Speaker 4: Everything he does. But it's also I never really gets
- 47:08Speaker 4: sick of it. It's always fun works.
- 47:09Speaker 2: It's like I am the best in the world.
- 47:11Speaker 3: Do you guys like me? Right?
- 47:12Speaker 2: Kind of like hot Rod is a perfect example.
- 47:16Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, absolutely, But yeah, I just think he's
- 47:21Speaker 3: so funny and and like we said earlier, like kind
- 47:24Speaker 3: of can do the rapping thing and kind of can
- 47:27Speaker 3: be the musical guy. It's pretty good, you know. I
- 47:32Speaker 3: just think he's so great in this and he's so funny,
- 47:35Speaker 3: So I picked him for that.
- 47:36Speaker 2: That's nice. Well let's talk about some of these supporting roles.
- 47:39Speaker 2: Let's pick the two. Would you for this up to
- 47:44Speaker 2: metals he gets both awards.
- 47:51Speaker 4: Yeah, this is a toss up for me, but I'll
- 47:56Speaker 4: go with I don't remember his name. It's one of
- 47:59Speaker 4: his bandmates, the one that was to know he was
- 48:04Speaker 4: too but it's Lawrence.
- 48:05Speaker 2: Yeah, but that's Ava Shaeffer. Yeah, I don't know.
- 48:12Speaker 4: I mean, literally, it's a toss up, it really is.
- 48:14Speaker 4: It could be anybody, honestly. The particular reason they all
- 48:20Speaker 4: have like bringing equal level of greatness to their roles.
- 48:25Speaker 2: So yeah, I love that. Yeah, I don't disagree with
- 48:30Speaker 2: that either. I mean I did pick ten Meadows in
- 48:33Speaker 2: this one. I felt strongly about that, but then after
- 48:35Speaker 2: that I was kind of like I could really give it,
- 48:40Speaker 2: really enjoy Yorma to Coney as well. I think he
- 48:44Speaker 2: is really funny, and yeah, he was a fun part
- 48:49Speaker 2: in this movie. He was it was a lot, you know,
- 48:53Speaker 2: kind of the he was kind of the glue guy.
- 48:55Speaker 2: Trying to like keep everybody happy. I love that he tried.
- 49:00Speaker 2: Is the parent trap so funny?
- 49:04Speaker 4: He's the DJ, right, Sorry I was getting confused. No,
- 49:08Speaker 4: who's who's the who's the supporting who's the opener?
- 49:13Speaker 3: Oh?
- 49:13Speaker 2: Yeah that his name is Chris Red Okay, but Henry Hungry.
- 49:22Speaker 3: That's right.
- 49:23Speaker 4: His character was great and it was great for the movie.
- 49:26Speaker 4: But it is a lot.
- 49:27Speaker 2: It's like he is a lot.
- 49:31Speaker 3: Okay, I thought he was. Yeah, he's really funny.
- 49:35Speaker 4: But I don't think that it was that was intentional,
- 49:39Speaker 4: like they they wanted him to be a lot. So
- 49:42Speaker 4: it's that's the whole thing.
- 49:44Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure. I had Tim Meadows for sure. That
- 49:50Speaker 3: whole bit was so good. And he's just I don't know,
- 49:54Speaker 3: he's so funny. He's so funny without like needing to
- 49:58Speaker 3: try to be funny too, which is a thing I'm
- 50:01Speaker 3: good at.
- 50:01Speaker 2: Like I really have to go about I mean, you
- 50:04Speaker 2: know what I'm going for.
- 50:07Speaker 3: There's no subtleness. But he's really just he's wonderful. I
- 50:12Speaker 3: really liked him in this, so I hear you on that.
- 50:14Speaker 3: I think that's a great call. I was super surprised
- 50:17Speaker 3: to see Imaging Poots in this movie. She's not in
- 50:20Speaker 3: it for very long. She's his girlfriend who then dates
- 50:24Speaker 3: almost yes, yeah, but then she gets married to someone else.
- 50:28Speaker 3: I can't remember who right off, was it Seal Seal?
- 50:32Speaker 3: She does get Yeah, I think it is Seal.
- 50:34Speaker 2: But and she's great.
- 50:36Speaker 3: She's been in a number of things since, but this
- 50:38Speaker 3: must have been one of her first things.
- 50:47Speaker 2: All those guys being in the TMZ they call it CMZ,
- 50:50Speaker 2: Oh my god, actors, those were incredible. That was like
- 50:55Speaker 2: a thing. Until I saw this again, I was.
- 50:58Speaker 3: Like, oh, I hated those videos so much much.
- 51:01Speaker 2: I loved how they just ripped on that whole. That's
- 51:05Speaker 2: so funny, so much. But will Arnette, Mike Bigley and
- 51:10Speaker 2: Andre and that was so much fun.
- 51:14Speaker 4: Yeah, eric Andre was very eric Andre and that.
- 51:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 51:25Speaker 3: J T was in this Timberlake.
- 51:28Speaker 4: I mean it was such good because he was like
- 51:30Speaker 4: making fun of himself in the entire time, and it's.
- 51:33Speaker 3: That's so great, so good.
- 51:36Speaker 6: God.
- 51:36Speaker 3: I forgot Emma Stone was in it.
- 51:40Speaker 2: That's so fun the like, here comes the beef? Is
- 51:43Speaker 2: that what this?
- 51:44Speaker 3: I think?
- 51:45Speaker 1: So?
- 51:46Speaker 3: And it was so funny.
- 51:49Speaker 2: Yeah, she was great.
- 51:50Speaker 3: I thought that was really great.
- 51:54Speaker 2: Yeah, that was good.
- 51:56Speaker 4: I forgot Bill Hayter was in it for it's turn up.
- 52:00Speaker 2: The Beef, Turn up the beef.
- 52:03Speaker 3: Beef.
- 52:04Speaker 4: Oh, edit that out, Bukes, Okay, that's just turn up,
- 52:11Speaker 4: turn up, turn up the beef.
- 52:14Speaker 3: I'm not going to.
- 52:17Speaker 2: There's no editing. There will be no editing. Sarah Silverman
- 52:20Speaker 2: was pretty funny. She's always pretty funny and everything. Yeah,
- 52:24Speaker 2: Rudolph had that. Yeah, oh my god, that scene so
- 52:28Speaker 2: much Borah.
- 52:32Speaker 3: I think it comes from Deborah and that that cracked
- 52:36Speaker 3: me up.
- 52:36Speaker 4: Yeah, and there's a line there that I was like, oh,
- 52:39Speaker 4: that could be like a favorite call it, but I
- 52:41Speaker 4: don't know if I can even say it on here.
- 52:43Speaker 2: No, you definitely couldn't.
- 52:45Speaker 4: Oh yeah, it's pretty good.
- 52:53Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good scene.
- 52:56Speaker 3: Yeah, it's great. Though a lot of other like main parts.
- 52:59Speaker 8: It's a lot of cameos, uh, you know singers see
- 53:07Speaker 8: Michael Carry and yeah, that was so great.
- 53:10Speaker 3: Love that.
- 53:11Speaker 2: Well, then let's let's go pick our favorite scene. Let's
- 53:14Speaker 2: choose the dingus.
- 53:15Speaker 3: The das is quite simple, really, dingus Dingus. I can
- 53:20Speaker 3: talk about my dingus all night long.
- 53:23Speaker 4: Gosh, it's so hard, but I would. I'm going to
- 53:25Speaker 4: just jump on it here and I'm gonna say, my
- 53:27Speaker 4: favorite scene, uh is when everything derails and his installment
- 53:39Speaker 4: like it is so good he falls over, but like
- 53:44Speaker 4: it like shines up. It's when both to the Hungary
- 53:49Speaker 4: cap like fighting to be on stage at the same
- 53:52Speaker 4: time and they're playing both of their songs at the
- 53:55Speaker 4: same time, and it's just absolutely and then the whole
- 53:59Speaker 4: helmet thing comes to that it shines on the audience
- 54:02Speaker 4: and that plays that awful sound the world it is
- 54:08Speaker 4: the War of the World.
- 54:10Speaker 2: Like.
- 54:12Speaker 3: It's like world, the World slashed the Viking scalar horn,
- 54:16Speaker 3: like very close, very close.
- 54:18Speaker 9: Good pe my pants every time that comes.
- 54:26Speaker 4: But there's another seed that that is like was just
- 54:29Speaker 4: right up there. And if this isn't one of yours, tough,
- 54:32Speaker 4: it's it's the it's a whole what he does his
- 54:34Speaker 4: magic trick and then he like it failed and it
- 54:38Speaker 4: was just completely naked, right, but he's like tucked it.
- 54:41Speaker 4: He's tucked it.
- 54:43Speaker 10: That whole sequence is incredible because it explaining it my pants.
- 54:54Speaker 2: Otherwise it's an undrum that's way up there.
- 55:02Speaker 4: For me, it tossed it off right after that one
- 55:05Speaker 4: to the Hungry have back, just like you.
- 55:10Speaker 3: So good. That's a hard cut too right to him.
- 55:18Speaker 4: Oh for sure, I know what the funniest things I've
- 55:20Speaker 4: ever seen.
- 55:21Speaker 2: It's amazing. All Right, I'm good. That's way up there
- 55:28Speaker 2: for me.
- 55:28Speaker 3: Sam.
- 55:31Speaker 2: But then also that apology scene, I just think it
- 55:34Speaker 2: is so funny, just him apologizing and then admitting that
- 55:38Speaker 2: he didn't do any of the work over and over. Yeah,
- 55:42Speaker 2: just keep doing it. I love that. I have some
- 55:48Speaker 2: more runner ups, But what's yours, Bukes.
- 55:50Speaker 3: I love that. Well, the tux scene is probably my
- 55:55Speaker 3: number one, honestly, it's so funny.
- 55:57Speaker 2: But which is funny because there's no dins.
- 56:00Speaker 3: When they're in the limbo and it starts. It starts
- 56:04Speaker 3: with the butt on the window, and then it's boobs
- 56:07Speaker 3: and then it's the guy. He's like doing the That's
- 56:13Speaker 3: what I'm here for. That's what I love. It's like
- 56:18Speaker 3: it's now, it's inserted inside, it's inside you want me
- 56:23Speaker 3: to couch. So I feel like so funny.
- 56:27Speaker 2: I hadn't ever seen him sign it until.
- 56:30Speaker 3: This wasn't an extended thing. I wondered about.
- 56:33Speaker 4: That, Like, no, he always did that.
- 56:36Speaker 2: He always said every time everything.
- 56:38Speaker 4: Well, I mean I've I I haven't seen any, but
- 56:44Speaker 4: like the ones I've always watched, hes always taking the
- 56:46Speaker 4: do and he's.
- 56:47Speaker 3: Like, okay, yeah, yeah, that's so funny.
- 56:53Speaker 2: To go to the car wash.
- 56:54Speaker 3: Yeah, so so funny. I love that scene. Yeah yeah.
- 57:00Speaker 3: But the other one that cracked me up a ton
- 57:01Speaker 3: this time for whatever reason, was the when he's singing
- 57:05Speaker 3: the song about inclusion but he keeps saying not gay
- 57:09Speaker 3: in it. God, that was getting me so good this watch.
- 57:14Speaker 3: So he's just like too desperate to tell everyone that he's.
- 57:20Speaker 2: Amazing, and then and then there.
- 57:26Speaker 4: God, yes, because it's not allowed, it's a.
- 57:30Speaker 3: Loud It's now he's just confused.
- 57:34Speaker 2: It's so the perfect button at the end of that. Yeah,
- 57:38Speaker 2: get it. I wrote down just all of the music
- 57:45Speaker 2: videos and performances because.
- 57:46Speaker 3: It's a good call, so good, The.
- 57:51Speaker 2: Humblest and we actually play that sometimes before before the show.
- 57:56Speaker 2: Love that so good, incredible thoughts with Michael Bolton is amazing, perfect.
- 58:06Speaker 2: But my runner up scene was the Wolves proposal.
- 58:09Speaker 3: It's oh my god, yes, good call.
- 58:13Speaker 4: Yeah. It comes at the time of the movie when
- 58:15Speaker 4: you feel like, okay, now what because like we've gone
- 58:17Speaker 4: through so many funny things, what do they get fucking like?
- 58:21Speaker 4: It's funny too, And then you're like, oh yeah, it
- 58:23Speaker 4: is so funny.
- 58:24Speaker 2: It's just so good.
- 58:27Speaker 3: Yeah, that's amazing. That's a good pick.
- 58:29Speaker 4: Do you think I got these scars?
- 58:31Speaker 2: Oh dude, that's way up there, killed teal. Yeah, that's
- 58:41Speaker 2: a great one. But I think if we had to
- 58:43Speaker 2: pick one, I think it's probably the tux scene.
- 58:46Speaker 3: Yeah, and wherever it's placed.
- 58:50Speaker 2: There it is.
- 58:50Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what I would picked. I love it.
- 58:55Speaker 2: Well, We've done a lot of quotes explaining the scenes,
- 58:58Speaker 2: but I think we should go to our favorite quote. Yeah,
- 59:00Speaker 2: and let's showed me the.
- 59:01Speaker 8: Money, show me the money, show me.
- 59:10Speaker 2: It's so hard. That Seal one.
- 59:13Speaker 3: That Seal one is so funny.
- 59:16Speaker 2: God, you want to say something, rep Do you have
- 59:21Speaker 2: any I mean.
- 59:22Speaker 4: I guess it's I don't know if this accounts, but
- 59:25Speaker 4: just because I want to be different, what about quoting
- 59:28Speaker 4: the actual sound effects of the War of the World. Yeah,
- 59:38Speaker 4: whatever you can do right now. But yeah, that that
- 59:44Speaker 4: is a That is a great sound the same thing
- 59:49Speaker 4: the play for the Vikings mm hmmm a lot, and
- 59:55Speaker 4: it's it's pretty great. So can I quote that? I
- 59:58Speaker 4: don't know you can quote.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: I mean, you quoted the Ringo one, you quoted the
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: Seal one.
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: Those are so many, dude, Like, there's probably one hundred
- 1:00:08Speaker 4: quotes you can do from this movie.
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: One that I always loved is Tim Meadows and Andy
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: Sandberg talking Tim was like, Connor, don't worry about you
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: up there for like ten seconds. It's like, ten seconds
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: is an eternity, Harry, it's a third of the way
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: to Mars. Connor. We've talked about this. Thirty seconds. To
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: Mars is the name of a band. It's not a fact.
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: That correct me up so much. It's the weather, just like,
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: damn it, man, we've gone over this. So funny.
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: So we already talked about the hammer Legs selling out
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: the eighteen thousand, and then they flip it around that, right.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: I don't need to go through all that, but I
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: thought that was so funny. Did you take in Frank House.
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: That's in there?
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: So funny.
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: That's a good one.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: My favorite, one of my favorite lines. And the whole thing. Okay,
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: there's two. They're both from Tim Meadows when he is
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: talking to Hunter the Hungry there in that fight before
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: he slaps him, he says, I will eat your head.
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: That got your head? Oh okay, wow, all right, but
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: it made me laugh because it's the most ridiculous thing
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: to say to someone. But then also I think he
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: has the last line in the movie. It's way at
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: the end, but just I really hope Tony Tony Tony
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: is watching and they feel like like that. I love
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: that line. Why don't you say some bugs?
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: Uh, three of us a tricycle? I mean take away,
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: take away a wheel? What do you got a bicycle?
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: Don't use that, don't use it.
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: I really liked that one. I also liked, uh, it's
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: your hostess. That's one when he's like on this album
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: he wanted to branch out, and you know, it's good
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: to be willing to grow. Plus I played him like
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: a bunch of my beats and he was like, no.
- 1:02:27Speaker 11: No, oh buddy, oh no, you look like Matthew Modine
- 1:02:37Speaker 11: had a pink peanut allergy.
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: I thought was pretty that's pretty great.
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: Yeah in these Yeah.
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: The grafter was like, you look like a Nazi propaganda
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: and he just goes, okay, well, and.
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: Then they did the Jason Seagull and then he did
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: his kind of Jason.
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: That's right.
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: That was pretty great.
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: Really good. Boom Parent Trap I thought was wonderful. That's
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: a movie I love. And then uh, Snoop Doggs came
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: when he's like, surprise, Surprise, you're watching my new show.
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: Surprise mother. Yeah, love it.
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: It's really great, like that.
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: Moment they all have their own doc with so funny.
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: Yeah, and I don't I don't remember who said this.
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: It's when he gets offered to come back. So maybe
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: it's Deborah orright here, I think it's maybe Silverman that
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: says it. But she's just like, he's looking off into space,
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: but he's really making a meal.
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: No, no, it's the it's the like stage manager, that's right,
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: And it's so funny, dude, she is so funny.
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: She's that's the gal from Forgetting Sarah Marshall, who's the
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: wife And I thought she's the real life wife of your.
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: I think no, no, no, shaky.
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: But yeah, when she's like he's really he's looking up
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: from the place, but he's really making a meal, and.
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: She narrates the whole thing.
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: Yeah, like, and they just make.
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: It hard after the or after the music, right right,
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: right right? So good. Uh. It's also like it's when
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: they're fighting, I think, and he's someone says I have
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: a niece and then someone else screams back.
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: We all have a niece. Yeah, yeah, Tim Meadows, because
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: Tim Meadows is like I have a family. He's like,
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: you have a niece. He's like, we all have.
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: A said that. That was pretty great.
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: Those were all the ones I wrote down, though I
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: also wrote down Rolling Stone has given it the emoji.
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: That was a great scene. Oh my god, that was
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: that scene was incredible. Yeah, that was well written.
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: I love the tag on that rap because he's like,
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: I can only assume, I can only assume it's a mistake,
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: like it must have been having a problem with No,
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: this seems right with the score with what there.
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: Like, Okay, give it a negative four out of ten? Yeah, positive,
- 1:05:18Speaker 4: I'm assuming Yeah, right.
- 1:05:23Speaker 9: As a still okay, five stars really still gave it
- 1:05:31Speaker 9: the I love that.
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: I love that good.
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: Uh it's like our d J Francis moved to France
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: to hunt dolphins like a complete cad.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: Yeah, and then they showed yeah.
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: I think said Japan. Sorry, I'm going to correct everything
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: if it doesn't sound right.
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: I don't know that that's right though, but maybe you've
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: seen way more than I have.
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: I also love that they got Mariah Carey to make
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: fun of herself and she's I.
- 1:06:01Speaker 4: Mean that's a good move. Honestly, I'm so humble.
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: I instantly connected with that because I'm probably the most
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: humble person that I know. Yeah, it's just pretty great.
- 1:06:11Speaker 4: It's really good.
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: I love when people can make fun of themselves.
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: That's so fun.
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: I have Doinky doing Doinky Doing doing, and then I mean,
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: I feel like I could just quote all the songs.
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: But yeah, that's funny. But that's funny.
- 1:06:27Speaker 4: It's like a rannosaur stop hundreds eating beefcakes in the
- 1:06:31Speaker 4: back of the floor, Taurus and then a bunch of
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: f words.
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: I can't Yeah, silly, silly.
- 1:06:39Speaker 4: I've watched this movie too many times.
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I love it. Well, why don't we keep going.
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: Let's let's go to the crying game. Mugs, boohoo, moments
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: uh zero zero.
- 1:06:55Speaker 4: It's too funny.
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: Yeah, there's no cray in this movie. We got you
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: guys know that. Love it. Good work. Let's do a
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: little movie trivia. Though most of the shots of the
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: large groups were footage from one direction concerts, which I
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: thought was fun.
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: So did they actually come in and like perform at
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: one day?
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess.
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: So that's really good.
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: It's been fun to be at that One Direction Show.
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: Honestly, like I was at a I forget what the
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: festival is called, but it was. It was at Canterbury
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: Park when I was a kid and Boys to Men
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: and Mariah Carey performed the one Sweet Day music video.
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: It was shot there at Canterbury Park. We got to
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: watch it during this festival. They did it like five times.
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: That's wild, and like I was just like, I'm here
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: for this, this is this is cool. Yeah, I was
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: all yeah, I like that lot.
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: Oh, this was the one I was sorrying about the
- 1:08:02Speaker 3: real life rappers fifty cent Diddy Nas talking about their
- 1:08:06Speaker 3: love for Style Boys were not scripted. Their responses were
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: based on questions asked by the Lonely Island guys as
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: if they were talking about the real life group Beastie Boys.
- 1:08:17Speaker 3: So they're like, those are their real answers to the
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: Beastie Boys, And they used them for Style Boys, which
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: was really smart. Yeah, so they like they didn't tell
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: them what to say.
- 1:08:28Speaker 4: Said wait, well, what's the song that the Cowboys song?
- 1:08:35Speaker 4: Who was it?
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:08:36Speaker 4: That's that's when Nas is talking about it. He's like,
- 1:08:40Speaker 4: oh yeah, that's all that song changed my life? Man?
- 1:08:43Speaker 4: What was the song?
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: Oh? Yeah, that's the roll up thing or whatever. The
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: dance donkey roll?
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: No, was it donkey roll? I thought it was.
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: Because they're talking about it before they go on. It
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: wasn't that big comeback.
- 1:08:56Speaker 4: It was a song where he's like, now I'm now
- 1:08:58Speaker 4: I'm in a cowboy had now I'm in three boy
- 1:09:03Speaker 4: hats and it's like ki yah, it's like like they're
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: karate doing karate.
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: Right, No idea.
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: All I know is these things happened throughout the movie,
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: and they they asked them about the Beastie Boys. No,
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: that was their responses, which I thought was that's a
- 1:09:20Speaker 3: really fun way to do it and get like real answers.
- 1:09:23Speaker 4: But they know. But but but here's this is an
- 1:09:25Speaker 4: important decision. Did they actually think that these songs were
- 1:09:29Speaker 4: done by the Beastie Boys?
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, no, that's not what I They
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: were saying when they did the interview of these rappers,
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: they said, we're going to ask you questions about the
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: Beastie Boys, and so they were like, what did you
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: think of the Beastie Boys?
- 1:09:43Speaker 3: And that's when they said, like, oh, that changed my life.
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: They were so cool, they were so fun. Then they
- 1:09:48Speaker 3: just changed it to be about the you know these guys.
- 1:09:51Speaker 4: Well that's weird though, because because because Nas in his
- 1:09:55Speaker 4: answer is referring to this.
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: Well, they may have some of it. They probably went back, Yeah,
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: like you said there, say that I'm talking about the
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: style makes sense now probably Quest love quest.
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: I've had some really, Oh my god, it's so funny
- 1:10:16Speaker 3: in general. Yeah, he's just a funny dude. Uh. The
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: the Poppies producer that kisses Akiva is Liz Kakowski. It's
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: his real life wife, which is great. And then actually
- 1:10:30Speaker 3: all three of the Lonely Islands members wives appeared in
- 1:10:32Speaker 3: this movie. Joanna Newsom as the purple haired defibrillator operator,
- 1:10:38Speaker 3: Mary l. Heller as a member of Connor's documentary crew.
- 1:10:41Speaker 3: And then we just mentioned that one. Also Jorma's son
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: is the Drumming Baby, which is really I love that,
- 1:10:50Speaker 3: which is what I mean obviously augmented presumably. Yes.
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: Also, Yorma's brother Asia to comb perform before the Style boys.
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: Bratti Guy, karate guy.
- 1:11:04Speaker 4: That's okay, that's one, all right?
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: Nice yep.
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: In this movie, Seal says he got scars on his
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: face from wolves, but in real life, he got the
- 1:11:13Speaker 3: scars from lupus, an autoimmune disease, and the scientific name,
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: which I hope is the reason they went with this
- 1:11:19Speaker 3: is obviously Canus loupis, so I hope that's how they
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: got to wolves.
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: That's unbelievable.
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: Sounds like they were probably super high and did that.
- 1:11:30Speaker 3: Hunter the Hungry is believed to be a loose parody
- 1:11:32Speaker 3: of the rapper Tyler the Creator, which is kind of fun,
- 1:11:38Speaker 3: but but I don't care about that. Several of the songs,
- 1:11:43Speaker 3: including Finest Girl, Mona, Lisa Owen's Beat and Incredible Thoughts,
- 1:11:47Speaker 3: feature Greg Kirsten as writer and or producer, and in
- 1:11:51Speaker 3: twenty seventeen, Kirsten won the Grammy for Producer of the
- 1:11:54Speaker 3: Year as well as Song of the Year and Record
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: of the Year for helping co write Hello with Adele.
- 1:12:00Speaker 3: So that also might be why they sounded pretty legit.
- 1:12:03Speaker 3: That's crazy.
- 1:12:04Speaker 4: Wow, Yet that is crazy.
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: Let's see during the home movie that Connor watches, where
- 1:12:12Speaker 3: he receives Maximus as a birthday present, young Connor says
- 1:12:16Speaker 3: everything is awesome. The Lonely Island Crew are among the
- 1:12:19Speaker 3: credited writers and performers of Everything Is Awesome from the
- 1:12:22Speaker 3: Lego movie In twenty fourteen.
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: I thought that was a fun the ending song, yeah,
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: which is pretty great.
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: It wasn't just the line. If they actually did the
- 1:12:32Speaker 4: whole production of the song, I don't know.
- 1:12:35Speaker 3: What you're asking. So they did the song in twenty
- 1:12:37Speaker 3: fourteen for the Lego movie, and then they just referenced
- 1:12:40Speaker 3: it here by saying everything is awesome in the movie.
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: Interesting, okay.
- 1:12:48Speaker 3: The male fan pressing himself up against the window of
- 1:12:50Speaker 3: Connor's limo with exposed genitalia is Judd Apatow. He said,
- 1:12:57Speaker 3: why did I do it? I just felt like I
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: had asked so many people to get naked from my
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: comedy IM Jason Siegel in Forgetting Sarah Marshall that in
- 1:13:07Speaker 3: this instance I should get back and show that I
- 1:13:09Speaker 3: can walk the walk. So apparently that interesting. What did
- 1:13:18Speaker 3: you happen to have to do with this movie? I
- 1:13:21Speaker 3: don't think anything other than he probably just helped with
- 1:13:24Speaker 3: writing and directing. Probably can you even knows all those cats?
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: So I just assume it's that. I don't think he
- 1:13:30Speaker 3: had an official role, though maybe it was a producer
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: or something.
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: That would be my guess that no.
- 1:13:36Speaker 4: Pun intended, But that takes some balls to like put
- 1:13:40Speaker 4: your name on a on a freaking nudity thing like that, you.
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: Know, well, and yeah, it's they never show the rest
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: of his body.
- 1:13:54Speaker 4: Yeah, Like, can you imagine can you imagine if you
- 1:13:57Speaker 4: were to do that, you would want to be anonymous?
- 1:14:01Speaker 4: You know? Can you imagine like saying, putting your name
- 1:14:04Speaker 4: on it and being like, no, that's me right.
- 1:14:05Speaker 3: There, that's it feels like a thing I would probably do,
- 1:14:10Speaker 3: especially if the paycheck was right.
- 1:14:12Speaker 4: He really would probably, I mean, yeah, and everything, but
- 1:14:15Speaker 4: just but there wasn't a price for that. For Judd
- 1:14:18Speaker 4: to do that.
- 1:14:18Speaker 3: Need a stronger camera for sure, more a zoom.
- 1:14:22Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I get that.
- 1:14:25Speaker 3: I just.
- 1:14:27Speaker 4: Believe I need Please, I just can't imagine I wanted,
- 1:14:37Speaker 4: you know.
- 1:14:37Speaker 3: Just for comedy funness.
- 1:14:39Speaker 4: I guess, I mean, I guess as a part of it.
- 1:14:42Speaker 4: That's like he has no shame, Like he's totally like
- 1:14:45Speaker 4: comfortable and like I don't care if everybody sees my
- 1:14:48Speaker 4: my stuff, I don't care. I mean, that's that's that's something.
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: Pretty nice looking, very funny dude, not a bad looking
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: But I.
- 1:14:56Speaker 4: Just can't believe he put his name on it.
- 1:14:57Speaker 3: But like, all right, well he didn't put his name
- 1:15:00Speaker 3: on there. It was Andy Samberg put his name.
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: On it, right.
- 1:15:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:15:07Speaker 3: There. The sudden non stage breakup of the Style Boys
- 1:15:12Speaker 3: is similar to the real life incident with Glenn Frey
- 1:15:15Speaker 3: and Don Felder of the Eagles in nineteen eighty, which
- 1:15:19Speaker 3: led to them splitting up a few days later. Sorry,
- 1:15:24Speaker 3: I would say things wrong.
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: You're it looks like Frey, it does.
- 1:15:29Speaker 3: It does. Also, the stuff about it being based on
- 1:15:35Speaker 3: Justin Bieber's documentary is not exactly true. It sounds like
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: Samberg has pushed back against that. There's a lot of similarities,
- 1:15:43Speaker 3: but he says it's more about the music industry as
- 1:15:47Speaker 3: a whole rather than just Bieber, which I think that's fair.
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: They definitely put.
- 1:15:54Speaker 4: Obviously that it is making fun of that. It's you
- 1:15:59Speaker 4: can't deny that he.
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: Didn't like I said.
- 1:16:02Speaker 3: He just said that there's all the stuff. It wasn't
- 1:16:04Speaker 3: like of.
- 1:16:05Speaker 4: That, and that's that's the safe play, like, yeah, like
- 1:16:09Speaker 4: we're making fun of everybody.
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: But man, they sure made it look like it was
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: going to be a straight up parody of that, which
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: is funny, which maybe he didn't want that, and maybe
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: that's why he brought up.
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: Because it was during a late night show or whatever.
- 1:16:21Speaker 3: But yeah, uh and then of course the putting the
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: album on the appliances is it's a reference to you
- 1:16:29Speaker 3: two having their album added to iTunes accounts without permission, which.
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: Was I remember that. I was like, I have this album,
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: but what never listened to it?
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: I'll tell you that.
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: Yeah, people were they were the super legit band. That
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: was surprising that they did.
- 1:16:44Speaker 3: Yeah, it was weird. Yeah, I don't know, but that
- 1:16:47Speaker 3: was all I had. I don't know if you had
- 1:16:48Speaker 3: any other triba rap that was.
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: That was it.
- 1:16:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I didn't see anything else either.
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: Will there be a sequel judgment day, Probably not a
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: sequel to this. I would definitely watch another Lonely Island production,
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: another one at some point, right well, I really hope
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: they do.
- 1:17:11Speaker 4: They would if there is something real that prompts it,
- 1:17:16Speaker 4: you know, like there has to be another megastar who
- 1:17:20Speaker 4: just is a you know I think that people roll
- 1:17:23Speaker 4: their eyes over you know that. Yeah, maybe prompt then
- 1:17:29Speaker 4: like they drive to be like, yeah, I want to
- 1:17:31Speaker 4: see this. I want to see them make fun of
- 1:17:33Speaker 4: how stupid whatever X is. You know.
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: But even if they didn't do it in this vein
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: just coming up with something else. Those three guys are
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: so funny.
- 1:17:43Speaker 3: It definitely will be that.
- 1:17:44Speaker 4: I mean, yeah, that's of course. Old guys are to
- 1:17:48Speaker 4: keep making movies. I'm just saying, but for.
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: They haven't. They haven't. They haven't since.
- 1:17:54Speaker 3: This so it's so busy with projects.
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: You know, they're all doing their own thing. They did
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: have the guys that are pretty much copying them, the
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: Please don't Please, don't destroy guys. They're doing the same
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: sort of thing. And they did a movie last year
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: that was actually pretty funny. I don't think a lot
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: of people saw it, The Treasure of the Treasure of
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: Foggy Mountain. Yeah, so I hope that they do more
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: stuff like that. I would really love to see it
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: for sure. Do you guys want to play a game?
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: We're going to do the quotes Game Time, Patron Time.
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: That'll be Top five draft. This is a game where
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: I'm going to say a quote from a movie, and
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: when you know what movie it is, you're going to
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: ring in with your name. Then you're going to answer
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: three things for me. You're gonna give me the name
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: of the movie, the actor saying the quote, and the
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: character's name. If you get any of those wrong, the
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: other person can steal for points. You don't get any
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: negative points for negative answers. All of these movies have
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: something in common. When you know the theme, you can
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: ring in for a point. And it might have something
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: to do with the film we just talked about.
- 1:19:10Speaker 4: Question, could you steal points from me? Like in Cribbage
- 1:19:16Speaker 4: where if like he says the right answer to the
- 1:19:19Speaker 4: answer I tried to give.
- 1:19:21Speaker 3: You won't you won't lose any points. I'll just get
- 1:19:23Speaker 3: points if that.
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: Happened, right, Yeah, all right, steal You can never go
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: negative or anything, but.
- 1:19:29Speaker 4: You have a change. I want to say my name
- 1:19:31Speaker 4: every time, all right.
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: But then also like if you get it wrong, don't
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: be like, oh was it awesome? Because then true?
- 1:19:41Speaker 4: Well, yeah, I won't give it cool.
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: Let's go to number one. This is pitiful. A thousand
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: people freezing their butts off waiting to worship hendhog Day.
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: What is his character's name in that bill? Nicely done?
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: Brot the last name I mean I'm going to give nice.
- 1:20:10Speaker 3: Could work killing it?
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: Wow? I really thought, I really thought Bigs was going
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: to get that bugs is.
- 1:20:18Speaker 3: I wasn't even on it. I love that quick, you
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: were quick.
- 1:20:24Speaker 2: That was awesome. I'm sweet he's on the board. Let's
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: go to number two. Why don't you just go home?
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: That's your home? Are you too good for your home? Yes?
- 1:20:36Speaker 3: Bugs, Happy Gilmore is the movie. Correct, Happy Gilmore is
- 1:20:40Speaker 3: the character.
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: Correct.
- 1:20:42Speaker 3: Adam Sandler is the director.
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: We're tied it three after two.
- 1:20:48Speaker 4: Tough game because it's so quick, like you could literally say, Rob,
- 1:20:54Speaker 4: You've got to stop saying the quote when someone says
- 1:20:56Speaker 4: their name.
- 1:20:59Speaker 3: I have the theme?
- 1:21:01Speaker 2: What's the theme?
- 1:21:02Speaker 3: Movies featuring SNL alum.
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: They are the main character of the movie. Yeah, all right,
- 1:21:12Speaker 2: And none of these are going to They're not going
- 1:21:16Speaker 2: to be based on an SNL character, Like we're not
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: going to have We're not going to have like Wayne's
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: World or Ladies.
- 1:21:23Speaker 3: Man Cone Heads. It's going to be deeper than that,
- 1:21:28Speaker 3: deeper than that.
- 1:21:30Speaker 4: Like sn L before it was a TV show.
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: Say it again? Never mind, Yeah, let's let's let's do
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: number three. Uh, here it is. It's so damn hot.
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: Milk was a bad character. Bugs.
- 1:21:51Speaker 3: Anchorman. Ron is so hard about Anchorman.
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: It is Anchorman. But there's a colon.
- 1:22:00Speaker 3: The legend of Ron Burgundy. I believe Ron Burgundy. And
- 1:22:05Speaker 3: you scared me Will Ferrell.
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: Yeah, you got it.
- 1:22:10Speaker 4: I swear I said that.
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: I definitely beat you. Definitely you got groundhog. Let's go
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: to number four. You're really doing it, aren't you.
- 1:22:24Speaker 3: You?
- 1:22:27Speaker 4: I had that first.
- 1:22:33Speaker 3: So much.
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: Do you bring it down?
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: Bring it down? I will give it to you, but
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: don't say the F word at my friend.
- 1:22:45Speaker 3: I like it. I'm going to make you. I'm so
- 1:22:47Speaker 3: much farther after I am going to edit.
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: I mean, he's very close, A little concerned.
- 1:22:52Speaker 4: I'm a little concerned right now because let me just
- 1:22:54Speaker 4: say one.
- 1:22:57Speaker 3: What's happening.
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: I don't know what that means.
- 1:22:59Speaker 4: I think there's a I think there's a lag. I
- 1:23:02Speaker 4: think there's a lag, just like saying something and you
- 1:23:05Speaker 4: guys are wanding later than.
- 1:23:06Speaker 3: It could be both yep, but I are hard wired
- 1:23:11Speaker 3: to each other. You got in your winer. Say what
- 1:23:14Speaker 3: you're gonna say. You don't even remember what it is. No,
- 1:23:19Speaker 3: I've got my friends.
- 1:23:22Speaker 2: Okay, all right? It was. You're really doing it, aren't you.
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: You're shipping in the street rises. Yes. Do you remember
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: her character name?
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: I do.
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: I would not have known this.
- 1:23:37Speaker 3: I don't know if I remember her last name though.
- 1:23:40Speaker 4: The last name is really going to kill me.
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: Here, you don't need the last name first. The last
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: name on IMDb, they only have the first name.
- 1:23:51Speaker 4: Five. He hates the count I hate the counting. You
- 1:23:55Speaker 4: know how to count?
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: It's fine? What is it?
- 1:23:59Speaker 3: Danny and.
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: Ny? But rep got two? You got one? Nicely done?
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: All right, let's go number five. We are not the
- 1:24:13Speaker 2: Brady Bunch, all right. I'm Marky Mark and y'all are
- 1:24:16Speaker 2: the funky bunch.
- 1:24:17Speaker 3: Oh damn, it's just that I know that.
- 1:24:21Speaker 4: Oh my god, it's.
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: So funny because I feel like this guy didn't have
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: as many great lines as the other people. The line
- 1:24:33Speaker 2: again is we are not Brady Bunch, all right. I'm
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: Marky Mark and y'all are the funky bunch.
- 1:24:41Speaker 4: I know that freaking line. That is me too, so irritating.
- 1:24:45Speaker 3: I'm just gonna gets It's not airheads, is it?
- 1:24:50Speaker 2: It's not. It's not a not a bad guys.
- 1:24:52Speaker 3: I didn't think that, but I can't think of what
- 1:24:54Speaker 3: that's from.
- 1:24:55Speaker 2: Yeah, do you have a guess? Rup kill me? Oh god,
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: it's very low stakes here, bud, very low This was
- 1:25:09Speaker 2: from We're the Millers, said by Jason. Your name was
- 1:25:16Speaker 2: David Clark. Nice, but this is good. This is a
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: fun game. Where are we after five?
- 1:25:23Speaker 3: I have a rap Us five. Everybody's in it.
- 1:25:25Speaker 4: A man very close, I will say, Rob, I like
- 1:25:29Speaker 4: this game more than any of the other games that
- 1:25:31Speaker 4: we have played.
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: Yeah. I did switch it up because I know you
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: don't love the starting five, so so I did the
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: quotes game. The quotes is right this, Yeah, I can
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: tell you're doing very well with it, very well. Number six,
- 1:25:47Speaker 2: Oh sir, The Giants of New York took on the
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: Packers of Green Bay. In the end, the Giants triumphed
- 1:25:53Speaker 2: by kicking an oblong ball made of pigskin through a
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: big h It was a most ripping victory, well ripping victory.
- 1:26:01Speaker 3: God, what is this? Why can't I think of it
- 1:26:04Speaker 3: right now? Oh sir?
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: Oh sir? The Giants of New York took on the
- 1:26:09Speaker 2: Packers of Green Bay, and in the end the Giants
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: triumph made of pigskin through a big h It is
- 1:26:17Speaker 2: a ghost ripping victory.
- 1:26:19Speaker 3: Dam it right now, I guess sipping victorycius of a lady.
- 1:26:27Speaker 3: It's a lady saying it.
- 1:26:29Speaker 4: No, it's not.
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: I don't remember.
- 1:26:33Speaker 3: I can't.
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: Coming to America, said by Eddie Murray Man, Yes.
- 1:26:40Speaker 3: Ked, that is I should have got that. Yeah, boy, wow, I'm.
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: Going to get I think you're going to get this
- 1:26:52Speaker 2: next one. I wouldn't have done great on these either.
- 1:26:57Speaker 4: That's the thing. You realize that.
- 1:27:01Speaker 2: I think you guys are going to get this one.
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: Number seven here it comes. Allow myself to introduce myself.
- 1:27:10Speaker 2: Bug's got that.
- 1:27:10Speaker 3: One, all bastin powers.
- 1:27:13Speaker 2: You've got it online. Stop arguing with that.
- 1:27:17Speaker 4: I say my name and then.
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: I hear you after I've already I hear you. That's
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: not how it's going on.
- 1:27:23Speaker 3: Believe for me, we believe that's what you believe.
- 1:27:26Speaker 2: The people that are seeing the zoom are going to
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: see that. I am correct.
- 1:27:30Speaker 3: Allow myself to my awesome powers. Also has a call
- 1:27:35Speaker 3: it the International Man of Mystery.
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: Nicely done, Mike Myers, and also go three more nicely done.
- 1:27:43Speaker 2: Let's go to number eight. Number eight. You're going to
- 1:27:50Speaker 2: stand there own in a fireworks stand and tell me
- 1:27:53Speaker 2: you don't have no whistling bungholes, no spleen splitters, whisker biscuits,
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: honky lighters, whoskerdoo hoosker, don'ts cherry bombs, nipsy dasers with
- 1:28:04Speaker 2: or without the scooter stick or one single whistling kiddie chaser. O.
- 1:28:11Speaker 3: My god, I know this too.
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: Three other lines.
- 1:28:16Speaker 4: I want to say, Adam, it.
- 1:28:20Speaker 2: Is not Chris Farley, all right? Uh, not terrible.
- 1:28:29Speaker 3: It's not Joe dirt? Is it? By chance?
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: It's Joe dirt.
- 1:28:32Speaker 3: It is Joe dirt. Okay, that sounded like a Joe dirt.
- 1:28:35Speaker 3: So so Joe dirt, David Spade and jo dirt.
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, another three? Nicely done. I remember saying, don't
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: all right? Number nine? Can I refill your eggnog for you,
- 1:28:53Speaker 2: get you something to eat, drive you out to the
- 1:28:55Speaker 2: middle of nowhere, and leave you for He had his
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: hand up?
- 1:29:01Speaker 4: Are you kidding me?
- 1:29:05Speaker 2: I am getting it to you. You had put your
- 1:29:08Speaker 2: hand up.
- 1:29:09Speaker 4: But yes, I feel like I have to like go
- 1:29:14Speaker 4: crazy as you just start talking.
- 1:29:16Speaker 3: Just say it before me. You'll nice.
- 1:29:26Speaker 2: You're very good at this one, very good at this one.
- 1:29:30Speaker 4: Driving me crazy.
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: It's okay, Everything's okay. Here comes number ten. Number ten.
- 1:29:39Speaker 2: The fact that you're not answering leads me to believe
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: you're either a not at home home but don't want
- 1:29:45Speaker 2: to talk to me, or c home desperately want to
- 1:29:48Speaker 2: talk to me, but trapped under something heavy if it's
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: either A or C please call me back.
- 1:29:55Speaker 4: Oh that's tough. I don't know.
- 1:29:57Speaker 2: I youre easier ones I could have done from this one,
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: but that really rings a bell. That's more time. The
- 1:30:05Speaker 2: fact that you're not answering. We believe you're either A
- 1:30:08Speaker 2: not at home, B home but don't want to talk
