  that's

  a

  lot
• 2:07
  going

  on

  there

  passage

  We

  to
• 2:13
  this
• 2:13
  passage
• 2:13
  of
• 2:14
  scripture.
• 2:14
  Just
• 2:15
  let's
• 2:15
  settle
• 2:15
  in
• 2:16
  for
• 2:16
  just
• 2:16
  a
• 2:16
  moment
• 2:16
  and
• 2:17
  get
• 2:17
  delve
• 2:17
  into
• 2:18
  the
• 2:18
  revelation,
• 2:19
  which
• 2:19
  is
• 2:19
  always
• 2:20
  a
• 2:21
  difficult
• 2:22
  or
• 2:22
  challenging
• 2:23
  book.
• 2:23
  And
• 2:23
  this
• 2:23
  is
• 2:23
  a
• 2:23
  loud
• 2:24
  passage.
• 2:25
  There's
• 2:25
  thump,
• 2:26
  there's
• 2:26
  trumpets
• 2:27
  and
• 2:27
  thunder
• 2:27
  and
• 2:27
  lightning
• 2:28
  and
• 2:28
  the
• 2:28
  whole
• 2:29
  production.
• 2:29
  It's
• 2:29
  almost
• 2:29
  like
• 2:30
  you're
• 2:30
  going
• 2:30
  to
• 2:30
  like
• 2:31
  an
• 2:31
  NBA
• 2:31
  basketball
• 2:32
  game,
• 2:32
  like
• 2:32
  an
• 2:32
  Indiana
• 2:33
  Pacer
• 2:33
  game,
• 2:33
  like
• 2:33
  I
• 2:33
  go
• 2:34
  to
• 2:34
  sometimes
• 2:35
  and
• 2:35
  you
• 2:36
  know,
• 2:36
  kind
• 2:36
  of
• 2:36
  when
• 2:36
  the
• 2:36
  whole
• 2:36
  building
• 2:36
  shaking,
• 2:37
  when
• 2:37
  everything's
• 2:38
  rocking
• 2:38
  and
• 2:38
  going
• 2:39
  and
• 2:40
  the
• 2:40
  energy
• 2:40
  here
• 2:41
  isn't
• 2:41
  really
• 2:41
  far
• 2:41
  off
• 2:42
  from
• 2:42
  what
• 2:42
  you
• 2:43
  might
• 2:43
  experience
• 2:43
  in
• 2:43
  a
• 2:43
  big
• 2:44
  game
• 2:44
  like
• 2:44
  that.
• 2:45
  What's
• 2:45
  happening
• 2:46
  here
• 2:46
  in
• 2:46
  this
• 2:46
  passage?
• 2:47
  Let's
• 2:47
  delve
• 2:48
  into
• 2:48
  a
• 2:48
  couple
• 2:48
  of
• 2:48
  points
• 2:49
  to
• 2:49
  ponder
• 2:50
  about
• 2:50
  this.
• 2:50
  First,
• 2:50
  catch
• 2:51
  the
• 2:51
  phrase
• 2:52
  destroy
• 2:53
  the
• 2:53
  destroyers
• 2:54
  of
• 2:54
  Earth.
• 2:55
  Now,
• 2:56
  if
• 2:56
  you
• 2:57
  grew
• 2:57
  up
• 2:57
  being
• 2:57
  told
• 2:58
  that
• 2:58
  Revelation
• 2:59
  is
• 2:59
  about
• 2:59
  God
• 2:59
  destroying
• 3:00
  the
• 3:00
  earth,
• 3:00
  this
• 3:00
  might
• 3:00
  rattle
• 3:01
  your
• 3:01
  thinking
• 3:01
  a
• 3:02
  little
• 3:02
  bit
• 3:02
  here.
• 3:03
  And
• 3:03
  I
• 3:03
  think
• 3:04
  that's
• 3:04
  a
• 3:04
  good
• 3:04
  thing
• 3:04
  to
• 3:04
  rattle
• 3:05
  it
• 3:05
  up
• 3:05
  maybe
• 3:05
  a
• 3:05
  little
• 3:06
  bit,
• 3:06
  because
• 3:06
  that's
• 3:06
  not
• 3:06
  what
• 3:07
  this
• 3:07
  says.
• 3:08
  God's
• 3:08
  judgment
• 3:09
  here
• 3:09
  isn't
• 3:09
  aimed
• 3:10
  at
• 3:10
  the
• 3:10
  planet.
• 3:11
  It's
• 3:11
  aimed
• 3:12
  at
• 3:12
  those
• 3:12
  who
• 3:12
  destroy
• 3:13
  it.
• 3:14
  This
• 3:14
  is
• 3:14
  one
• 3:15
  of
• 3:15
  the
• 3:15
  most
• 3:15
  explicitly
• 3:16
  creation
• 3:16
  affirming
• 3:17
  texts
• 3:17
  in
• 3:17
  the
• 3:17

• 3:19
  and
• 3:19
  it's
• 3:19
  sitting
• 3:19
  right
• 3:20
  here
• 3:20
  in
• 3:20
  Revelation,
• 3:21
  of
• 3:21
  all
• 3:21
  places.
• 3:22
  God's
• 3:23
  not
• 3:23
  done
• 3:23
  with
• 3:23
  this
• 3:24
  world.
• 3:24
  God
• 3:24
  loves

  the

• 3:25
  The

  all
• 3:28
  of
• 3:28
  it.
• 3:29
  My
• 3:30
  wife
• 3:30
  and
• 3:30
  I,
• 3:30
  we
• 3:31
  love
• 3:31
  to
• 3:31
  spend
• 3:32
  time
• 3:32
  outdoors,
• 3:32
  hiking
• 3:33
  in

  and
• 3:36
  sometimes

  if

  we're
• 3:37
  in
• 3:37
  old
• 3:37
  growth
• 3:38
  trees,

  we

  to

  see
• 3:39
  the

• 3:40
  on

  couple
• 3:40
  of

• 3:41
  and
• 3:42
  you
• 3:42
  see
• 3:42
  the
• 3:42
  light
• 3:42
  coming
• 3:43
  through
• 3:43
  the
• 3:43

• 3:43
  of

  trees,
• 3:45
  it
• 3:46
  doesn't
• 3:46
  feel
• 3:46
  like
• 3:46
  something
• 3:47
  God
• 3:47
  is

  to

  throw,
• 3:48
  to
• 3:48

• 3:48
  away.
• 3:49
  It
• 3:49
  seems

  like
• 3:50
  God
• 3:50
  likes
• 3:50
  it
• 3:50
  quite
• 3:51
  a

• 3:51
  It's

• 4:02
  It's

  here
• 4:04
  in
• 4:04
  the

  Hymn
• 4:05
  of

• 4:06
  God

• 4:13
  we,
• 4:13
  how
• 4:13
  we
• 4:14
  vote
• 4:14
  and
• 4:14
  what
• 4:14
  we
• 4:14
  do
• 4:15
  in
• 4:15
  our

• 4:15
  and
• 4:16
  how
• 4:16
  we
• 4:16
  consume
• 4:16
  and
• 4:17
  how
• 4:17
  we
• 4:17
  live.

• 4:19
  to

• 4:21
  Look
• 4:21
  at
• 4:21
  who
• 4:21
  gets
• 4:22
  rewarded
• 4:22
  here.
• 4:23
  Prophets
• 4:23
  and
• 4:23
  saints.
• 4:24
  Yes.
• 4:24
  But
• 4:24
  then
• 4:24
  it
• 4:25
  says
• 4:26
  small
• 4:26
  and
• 4:27
  great,
• 4:28
  and
• 4:28
  I
• 4:28
  love
• 4:29
  that.
• 4:29
  The
• 4:29
  small
• 4:30
  and
• 4:30
  great.
• 4:31
  The
• 4:31
  small
• 4:32
  comes
• 4:32
  first
• 4:33
  in
• 4:33
  the
• 4:33
  listing.
• 4:33
  In
• 4:33
  a
• 4:34
  world
• 4:34
  that
• 4:35
  rewards
• 4:35
  platform
• 4:36
  and
• 4:36
  influence
• 4:37
  and
• 4:37
  big
• 4:37
  and
• 4:38
  stuff
• 4:38
  like
• 4:39
  that,
• 4:39
  God's
• 4:40
  kingdom
• 4:40
  flips
• 4:41
  the
• 4:41
  roster
• 4:41
  around
• 4:42
  the
• 4:42
  people
• 4:43
  nobody
• 4:43

• 4:44
  The
• 4:44
  quiet
• 4:44
  caregiver,
• 4:46
  the
• 4:46
  person
• 4:46
  who
• 4:46
  shows
• 4:47
  up
• 4:47
  every
• 4:47
  week
• 4:47
  to
• 4:47
  serve
• 4:48
  without
• 4:48
  applause.
• 4:50
  The
• 4:50
  one
• 4:50
  whisperer
• 4:51
  hoping
• 4:52
  that
• 4:52
  someone's
• 4:53
  help
• 4:53
  out.
• 4:53
  Someone's
• 4:53
  hardest
• 4:54
  day.
• 4:55
  They're
• 4:56
  on
• 4:56
  the
• 4:56
  list.
• 4:57
  I
• 4:58
  have
• 4:58
  a
• 4:59
  podcast
• 4:59
  for
• 5:00
  cancer
• 5:00
  patients
• 5:00
  and
• 5:01
  I
• 5:01
  talk
• 5:01
  to
• 5:01
  people
• 5:01
  whose
• 5:02
  names
• 5:02
  will
• 5:03
  never
• 5:03
  be
• 5:03
  in
• 5:04
  some
• 5:04
  trending
• 5:04
  thing
• 5:05
  anywhere.
• 5:06
  They're
• 5:06
  just
• 5:06
  showing
• 5:06
  up
• 5:07
  every
• 5:07
  day
• 5:07
  with
• 5:08
  courage
• 5:09
  to
• 5:10
  do
• 5:10
  the
• 5:10
  impossible
• 5:12
  in
• 5:12
  impossible
• 5:13
  circumstances.
• 5:15
  And
• 5:15
  according
• 5:15
  to
• 5:15
  this
• 5:16
  passage,
• 5:16
  heaven
• 5:16
  knows
• 5:17
  their
• 5:17
  names.
• 5:18
  You
• 5:19
  don't
• 5:19
  have
• 5:19
  to
• 5:19
  be
• 5:19
  great
• 5:19
  by
• 5:19
  the
• 5:20
  world's
• 5:20
  measures
• 5:20
  to
• 5:20
  matter
• 5:21
  in
• 5:21
  the
• 5:21
  kingdom
• 5:22
  of
• 5:22
  God.
• 5:23
  You
• 5:23
  just
• 5:23
  have
• 5:23
  to
• 5:23
  be
• 5:23
  faithful.
• 5:25
  Small
• 5:25
  counts.
• 5:27
  Sometimes.
• 5:28
  I
• 5:28
  think
• 5:28
  about
• 5:28
  my
• 5:28
  granddaughters
• 5:29
  in
• 5:29
  this
• 5:29
  passage.
• 5:30
  They're
• 5:30
  kind
• 5:30
  of
• 5:30
  little
• 5:31
  and
• 5:31
  they.
• 5:32
  They
• 5:32
  really
• 5:32
  have
• 5:32
  no
• 5:32
  idea
• 5:32
  how
• 5:33
  much
• 5:33
  joy
• 5:33
  they
• 5:33
  bring
• 5:33
  to
• 5:34
  my
• 5:34
  life
• 5:34
  and
• 5:34
  to
• 5:35
  others
• 5:36
  when
• 5:36
  they
• 5:36
  just
• 5:36
  sit
• 5:37
  and
• 5:37
  they
• 5:37
  laugh
• 5:37
  and
• 5:37
  they
• 5:38
  tell
• 5:38
  stories
• 5:38
  and
• 5:38
  have
• 5:38
  fun
• 5:39
  together.
• 5:40
  So
• 5:40
  smallness
• 5:41
  is
• 5:41
  not
• 5:41
  insignificant
• 5:42
  in
• 5:42
  God's
• 5:43
  economy.
• 5:44
  It
• 5:44
  might
• 5:44
  be
• 5:45
  the
• 5:45
  Whole
• 5:45
  point.
• 5:47
  Then
• 5:47
  there's
• 5:47
  the
• 5:47
  final
• 5:48
  image.
• 5:48
  The
• 5:48
  doors
• 5:48
  of
• 5:48
  God's
• 5:49
  temple
• 5:49
  fly
• 5:50
  open
• 5:50
  and
• 5:50
  the
• 5:50
  Ark
• 5:50
  of
• 5:51
  Covenant
• 5:51
  is
• 5:51
  visible
• 5:52
  to
• 5:52
  everyone.
• 5:53
  So
• 5:55
  the
• 5:55
  old
• 5:55
  system,
• 5:55
  the
• 5:55
  ark,
• 5:56
  was
• 5:56
  hidden
• 5:56
  away,
• 5:57
  accessible
• 5:58
  to
• 5:58
  no
• 5:58
  one,
• 5:59
  really,
• 5:59
  almost
• 5:59
  no
• 5:59
  one.
• 6:00
  And
• 6:00
  now
• 6:01
  the
• 6:01
  doors
• 6:02
  are
• 6:02
  blown
• 6:02
  wide
• 6:02
  open
• 6:02
  here
• 6:03
  in
• 6:03
  the
• 6:03
  Revelation.
• 6:04
  No
• 6:04
  more
• 6:04
  gatekeeping,
• 6:05
  no
• 6:05
  more
• 6:05
  you're
• 6:06
  in
• 6:06
  and
• 6:06
  you're
• 6:06
  out.
• 6:07
  The
• 6:07
  presence
• 6:08
  of
• 6:08
  God
• 6:08
  is
• 6:09
  revealed
• 6:09
  to
• 6:09
  all
• 6:10
  fully
• 6:11
  and
• 6:11
  freely.
• 6:12
  That's
• 6:13
  the
• 6:13
  vision
• 6:13
  of
• 6:13
  heaven.
• 6:14
  Radically.
• 6:15
  Unlimited
• 6:16
  access
• 6:17
  to
• 6:17
  God,
• 6:17
  the
• 6:18
  divine.
• 6:19
  So
• 6:19
  here's
• 6:19
  your
• 6:20
  action
• 6:20
  step
• 6:20
  for
• 6:20
  the
• 6:21
  day.
• 6:21
  I
• 6:21
  want
• 6:22
  you
• 6:22
  to
• 6:22
  do
• 6:22
  something
• 6:22
  small
• 6:24
  on
• 6:24
  purpose,
• 6:26
  not
• 6:26
  something
• 6:26
  that
• 6:26
  will
• 6:26
  make
• 6:26
  a
• 6:26
  big
• 6:27
  headline.
• 6:28
  Something
• 6:28
  maybe
• 6:29
  not
• 6:29
  anyone
• 6:29
  else
• 6:29
  would
• 6:30
  notice.
• 6:30
  Pick
• 6:31
  up
• 6:31
  litter
• 6:32
  in
• 6:32
  your
• 6:32
  community.
• 6:34
  Send
• 6:34
  an
• 6:34
  encouraging
• 6:35
  text
• 6:36
  or
• 6:36
  a
• 6:36
  note
• 6:36
  to
• 6:36
  someone
• 6:37
  who
• 6:37
  needs
• 6:38
  to
• 6:38
  be
• 6:38
  encouraged.
• 6:40
  Maybe
• 6:40
  sit
• 6:40
  with
• 6:41
  someone
• 6:41
  who's
• 6:41
  lonely.
• 6:43
  Make
• 6:43
  a
• 6:43
  choice
• 6:44
  to
• 6:44
  honor
• 6:44
  the
• 6:44
  earth
• 6:45
  in
• 6:46
  some
• 6:46
  way
• 6:46
  or
• 6:46
  another.
• 6:48
  Do
• 6:48
  it
• 6:48
  as
• 6:48
  an
• 6:49
  act
• 6:49
  of
• 6:49
  worship.
• 6:49
  Because
• 6:50
  according
• 6:50
  to
• 6:51
  this
• 6:52
  passage,
• 6:52
  the
• 6:53
  small
• 6:53
  and
• 6:53
  faithful
• 6:54
  are
• 6:54
  exactly
• 6:54
  who
• 6:55
  God
• 6:55
  is
• 6:55
  celebrating.
• 6:57
  We're
• 6:57
  going
• 6:57
  to
• 6:57
  come
• 6:57
  back
• 6:58
  and
• 6:58
  have
• 6:58
  a
• 6:58
  prayer
• 6:58
  here
• 6:58
  in
• 6:58
  just
• 6:58
  a
• 6:59
  minute.
• 6:59
  I
• 6:59
  just
• 6:59
  want
• 6:59
  you
• 6:59
  to
• 6:59
  know
• 6:59
  we've
• 7:00
  got
• 7:00
  a
• 7:00
  resource
• 7:01
  for
• 7:01
  you.
• 7:01
  It's
• 7:02
  called
• 7:02
  the
• 7:02
  ABC
• 7:03
  1,
• 7:03
  2,
• 7:03
  3
• 7:03
  Bible
• 7:04
  Study
• 7:04
  Method.
• 7:05
  I
• 7:05
  invite
• 7:06
  you
• 7:06
  to
• 7:06
  go
• 7:06
  over
• 7:06
  to
• 7:06
  our
• 7:06
  website,
• 7:06
  voiceofgoddaily.com
• 7:09
  it's
• 7:09
  right
• 7:09
  there
• 7:09
  for
• 7:09
  you.
• 7:10
  Free.
• 7:10
  Let's
• 7:11
  pray.
• 7:12
  God,
• 7:12
  we
• 7:12
  hear
• 7:12
  the
• 7:13
  trumpet
• 7:13
  and
• 7:13
  we're
• 7:13
  not
• 7:14
  sure
• 7:14
  if
• 7:14
  we
• 7:14
  should
• 7:14
  be
• 7:14
  excited
• 7:15
  or
• 7:15
  terrified.
• 7:15
  Maybe
• 7:16
  we're
• 7:16
  a
• 7:16
  bit
• 7:16
  of
• 7:16
  both.
• 7:17
  But
• 7:17
  here's
• 7:17
  what
• 7:18
  we
• 7:18
  heard
• 7:18
  today.
• 7:18
  That
• 7:18
  you
• 7:19
  are
• 7:19
  not
• 7:19
  destroying
• 7:20
  our
• 7:20
  world,
• 7:21
  you
• 7:21
  are
• 7:21
  reclaiming
• 7:22
  it.
• 7:22
  You're
• 7:23
  holding
• 7:23
  accountable
• 7:23
  the
• 7:24
  ones
• 7:24
  who
• 7:24
  exploit
• 7:24
  and
• 7:24
  devour.
• 7:25
  And
• 7:25
  you
• 7:26
  are
• 7:26
  calling
• 7:26
  the
• 7:26
  names
• 7:27
  of
• 7:27
  the
• 7:27
  small
• 7:27
  and
• 7:27
  the
• 7:27
  faithful.
• 7:29
  That
• 7:29
  gives
• 7:29
  us
• 7:30
  so
• 7:30
  much
• 7:30
  hope
• 7:30
  today.
• 7:31
  Help
• 7:32
  us
• 7:32
  to
• 7:32
  be
• 7:32
  the
• 7:32
  people
• 7:32
  who
• 7:33
  protect
• 7:33
  what
• 7:33
  you
• 7:33
  love,
• 7:34
  this
• 7:34
  earth.
• 7:35
  These
• 7:35
  people,
• 7:36
  especially
• 7:36
  the
• 7:37
  ones
• 7:37
  the
• 7:37
  world
• 7:37
  overlooks,
• 7:38
  blow
• 7:39
  the
• 7:39
  doors
• 7:39
  open
• 7:40
  in
• 7:40
  our
• 7:40
  lives,
• 7:40
  God.
• 7:40
  Remove
• 7:41
  whatever
• 7:42
  keeps
• 7:43
  us
• 7:43
  from
• 7:43
  your
• 7:43
  presence
• 7:44
  and
• 7:44
  whatever
• 7:45
  keeps
• 7:45
  us
• 7:45
  from
• 7:45
  seeing
• 7:46
  your
• 7:46
  presence
• 7:47
  in
• 7:47
  others.
• 7:47
  And
• 7:48
  remind
• 7:48
  us
• 7:48
  today
• 7:49
  that
• 7:49
  small
• 7:49
  acts
• 7:50
  of
• 7:50
  faithfulness
• 7:50
  are
• 7:51
  not
• 7:51
  small
• 7:51
  to
• 7:51
  you.
• 7:52
  We
• 7:53
  want
• 7:53
  to
• 7:53
  be
• 7:53
  on
• 7:54
  that
• 7:54
  list
• 7:55
  not
• 7:55
  because
• 7:55
  we
• 7:56
  are
• 7:56
  great,
• 7:56
  but
• 7:56
  because
• 7:56
  we

  were

  faithful.
• 7:58
  Walk

  Amen.
