  I took a COVID test. It's not that so yeah, good good.

  Isn't it funny how we still feel compelled to do that. Yeah. I

  mean I work around people, so I feel like I probably should I know,

  But yeah, well I don't know. I was sick for like two

  weeks straight and I took five of those things and they all came back negative.

  And in the end I said, well, you know, I really

  wouldn't have done anything differently. I'm sick. I'm sick, I stay home.

  Don't affect people. So yeah, I don't know, Yeah I off

  topic. Yeah, yeah, no, I hear you. Well what sucks

  is I'm supposed to take a vacation on Friday. Mmm, and so yeah,

  I'm kind of like, well see how it goes, right, I'm

  giving myself to a Wednesday. I don't remember Wednesday? And against are you

  supposed to go away? Or what? Do you go to Boise? Which

  is like an eight hour drive from here? But I'm flying but still okay,

  yeah, I'm going for a concert and staying out but myself. But

  so it's an eight hour drive. I'm flying though I'm flying. Yeah yeah,

  but it's still an Idaho. It's still an Idaho. That's crazy,

  right, Like Like I remember when we uh when we drove across country.

  Yeah, there was there was one day where we woke up in Texas,
• 2:34
  got in the car, drove all day, rented another hotel room and went
• 2:38
  to sleep and we were still in Texas. Yeah. Yeah, well,

  and it's wild because, uh, Southern Idaho is a different time zone the
• 2:46
  mountain. Really yeah, yeah, it's weird officially or that's just something the
• 2:53
  locals decided to do, because that's pretty they are mountain time zone. So
• 2:57
  that's pretty odd that. Like it's an hour flight, right, so you
• 3:00
  get there, it takes two hours to get there, right because the hour
• 3:04
  and then they're losing the hour. But you fly back, you're right at
• 3:07
  the same time. Oh look, who's your lu who's arrived here? I
• 3:14

  the Devas Place in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and uh we're this is day

  three, day two for me of the Grand Rapids Comic Con. Wow.

  So I've had an incredible We've had an incredibly great day. My wife is

  sitting next to me. We've had an incredible weekends. Would you like to

  an issue with my leather. Yeah, your wife is literally wearing knives right,

  So yeah, this has been a great time. I got a ton

  of video. So over the next couple of weeks, I know we're gonna

  be off next weekend. Daniel and I are going to try to figure out

  how how best to go about Uh you know, I'm gonna do some editing

  and we're gonna we're gonna put out on the maybe the Facebook page. I

  did an interview with none of the guests. I couldn't get in any interviews
• 4:58
  with any of the guest But what are you trying to show me on Oh

  you can listen? No you can't. So anyways, but you got to

  meet Yeah, I got to meet I got to meet John Hrtzler, and

  I got to meet Robert O'Reilly and as I as I told a couple people,

  Uh, and you're just gonna have to wait. This is a little

  teaser for two weeks from now. There were circumstances in which I ended up
• 5:30
  singing the Army fight song to Goron and Martok in front of two hundred people,
• 5:38
  so it was pretty incredible. I got my picture taken next to both
• 5:42
  of them in full clingon get up, and I was not I'm actually a
• 5:47
  klingon that's been surgically altered to look human. I will, I have brought
• 5:56
  great honor to my house. Are friend is going to be reviewed the con

  you know, that's uh, I will. I will get in touch with

  them and get back to you. I'll have their people contact your people.

  And I actually do have an idea for pack led reviews moving into the future.

  of neat. A little bit of Star Trek history has been found. I

  don't know if you guys have heard about this, but an old model of

  the USS Enterprise that Gene Roddenberry owned has been relocated. Apparently it was found
• 9:58
  in some sort of storage unit and actually did appear on eBay. This thing
• 10:03
  is a three foot wooden model of the USS Enterprise seventeen oh one. Nobody
• 10:09
  A, B, C or D. This is like the original, and
• 10:13
  it appeared on eBay. It looks like it was originally stolen from Geene Roddenberry's
• 10:20
  like storage ing it or something. Really, so, yeah, this thing
• 10:22
  has been missing for quite a long time. It was on eBay for about
• 10:26
  a thousand dollars. Yeah, the the cops go scoop it up. Yes,
• 10:31
  it has been removed. It has been removed, but I was able
• 10:37
  to catch the eBay page, so I screenshoted it. Yeah, so that's
• 10:46
  what it looked like like an eBay for those of you who were wondering.

  But it has since been removed, so it's not it's not on there anymore,

  but at least gives you a look at what the the ship looked like.

  So it's pretty cool that they found it. Apparently the seller is trying

  to return it to the Roddenberry family. Yeah. Sorry, that's mad.

  then our next story comes to us from trekmovie dot com and the Picard makeup

  designer reveals that Star Trek four the movie has been shut down and what Yeah,

  it's kind of a clickbaity article. So they went back to nineteen eighty
• 11:35
  five and shut down. That's right, they took the drive traveling ship.
• 11:39
  Yeah, the director letter Nimoy said, I can't I can't do it.
• 11:43
  I can't do it. No, Wales are too expensive. The fourth movie
• 11:46
  of the new Star Trek Movies has been shut down. But get he keeps
• 11:50
  getting shut down and started back up, So that's kind of yeah, but
• 11:54
  Quentin Tarantino said that it's gonna happen. Yeah, apparently that's gonna be a
• 11:58
  whole different thing if not even happens. But so apparently it was shut down
• 12:03
  during the writers strike, but now that the writers strike is over, it
• 12:07
  has started back up and they are working on fine tuning the script. Who
• 12:11
  knows what that means because they've been fine tuning for several years now, so
• 12:16
  we'll see. But that's where we're at with things. This makeup designer was
• 12:20
  originally taught by the original makeup team from from DS nine and Voyager, and
• 12:31
  so he hopes to continue and to go on to do the fourth movie if
• 12:35
  they actually do it. There's that noise do you hear that? That was

  the chrecky theme song. Yeah. And then our last news story also comes

  to us from Trek Movie. That's right, that's right, sorry, Star
• 12:56
  Trek Prodigy has been nominated for an Emmy Award. So for the Trek we

  don't talk about apparently because now it's gone and regulated to Netflix, so it's
• 13:05
  no longer it's Yeah, Prodigy, is that the one that they came out
• 13:09
  and then was canceled, and then it came out again, but only on
• 13:11
  Netflix then, Okay, just want to make sure we're talking about the same
• 13:13
  Star Trek animated series. That's the one. It has been nominated for Outstanding
• 13:18
  Mixing and Sound Editing for an Animated Program. It is up against Batman and
• 13:24
  Superman, Battled Super Zones, I Am Groot, Kung Fu Panda, and
• 13:28
  the Dragon Knight. Oh and also Rise as a Team NT. So there
• 13:33
  you go. It is nominated for an Emmy. So that's all the news
• 13:39
  stories. I actually have one. Oh, I have one that's only only
• 13:45
  like remotely Star Trek related. Okay, more of a it's more of a
• 13:50
  news story that has some Star Trek trivia attached to it. Okay, okay.

  A couple a couple of days ago, it was announced that uh Cedar,
• 14:00
  the amusement park company, is merging with six Flags and they're going to
• 14:07
  make a combined eight billion dollar amusement park company. And I think they're gonna
• 14:13
  have like forty something parks under their umbrella. Yeah, And the only thing
• 14:20
  that makes it even remotely Star Trek related is Paramount used to own a chain
• 14:26
  of amusement parks called Paramount parks which were eventually acquired by Cedar Fair, and
• 14:35
  one of those Paramount parks was Star Trek the Experience, and that that acquisition
• 14:41
  took place before Star Trek the Experience closed. So there was a time where
• 14:48
  Cedar Fair ran Star Trek the Experience in Las Vegas. And they are now
• 14:58
  merging with Six Flags, and there are still some licensing deals left over from
• 15:03
  that time period, with Paramount the only one they have optioned. They let
• 15:11
  the options expire on all the other characters. The only ones they kept were
• 15:16
  the Nickelodeon related branding. Okay, but that that relationship and what I'm I
• 15:22
  guess what I'm saying is that relation with relationship with Paramount is still alive in
• 15:30
  some way even though it's not Star Trek related. Right now, that there's
• 15:33
  a little tiny piece inside of me that says, Okay, you have this
• 15:39
  new, larger, merged company. You know, they're going to have a
• 15:45
  brainstorming meeting at some point they're going to say, what what licenses do we
• 15:48
  have access to? What licenses should we try to get access to? You
• 15:54
  know, what are some directions we'd like to go? So I would love
• 15:58
  to hear apparently the new company. They're going to keep the six Flags branding,
• 16:03
  the six Flags name, because I think that's more recognizable than the name
• 16:07
  Cedar Fair. But there's a little little part of me inside that's hopeful that,
• 16:12
  you know, a couple of years from now, we'll be hearing about
• 16:15
  some Star Trek related branding and attractions it's at six Flags parks. That,
• 16:22
  yeah, that would be great. I know that they are also making some
• 16:26
  Netflix stores. I know they're going to be in like New York and LA
• 16:30
  and they're going to be like have like sections devoted to some of the Netflix
• 16:34
  shows. So I don't know if Prodigy might have something there, like in
• 16:38
  the section, but that'd be cool. We have a Cedar fairwell in the
• 16:42
  Midwest. Everybody knows Cedar Point is a big amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio.

  Cedar Fair also owns Michigan's Adventure, which is up near Muskegan, Michigan.

  And so, yeah, they're they're in the future there might Point seems
• 16:59
  to be Cedar Point seems to be a pretty recognizable name, So yeah,

  I would imagine any changes at all would probably be six Flags Cedar Point to

  I guess, you know, capitalize on both of those names, right right,

  Yeah, anybody who lives this side of the Mississippi knows what Cedar Point

  is. So yeah, we have a small amusement park. It's called Silveroid,

  Yeah, she was back. The character of Josh Albert, who we've never

  seen. We didn't see him in the original uh episode, because he was

  remember if he had any lines. But interestingly they left out there was another

  cadet who was who was? There was brunette female, So I don't know

  if she wasn't available or if they just thought the scene was crowded enough.

  Writers might have forgot about her, like I did. Like that covert star

  know, I usually don't thrust praise upon will Wheaton's acting ability, but he

  did pretty good making himself sound younger. Yeah, when he did when he

  uh, when he cracked his voice, when he cracked his voice, that

  made him that made him sound a lot younger. So yeah, good on

  uh, good on him. Yep. Yeah, he definitely sounded the most

  like his younger self out of everybody in the episode. You know, yes,

  he's trying to create his own independent fleet, which of course the mock.

  which I thought was hilarious that they did call that out, you know,

  like, yeah, we know, and and so he's trying to create his

  own fleet and that's why he's been taking all these ships to you know,

  start that fleet and that's why we saw a lot of the lower decks crews

  from those other ships too, because he's trying to show them like, you

  don't have to listen to these terrible captains and you can actually be independent.

  Yeah, and that's also why he took Mariner, because he thought Mariner would
• 24:41
  be on his side, which is a pretty good arc for her because all
• 24:44
  season long it's been you know, she got that promotion, she didn't know
• 24:47
  she wanted it, and now she's realizing, yeah, she is part of
• 24:49
  Starfleet. She wants to be, you know, in the family, which
• 24:53
  was pretty presumptuous of Lacarno to just be like, ah, she's Her record
• 24:59
  shows she's a little rebellious. So I'm gonna yeah, exactly, exactly.
