- 0:11Speaker 2: say that I'm telling you there's Madison Beer, great song, bittersweet.
- 0:15Speaker 2: I was just say, I'm telling you, it's already February.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Of course started February. I tell you that it's February.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Second.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Now, it was a beautiful weekend. It was it was
- 0:24Speaker 2: hot over the weekend. Do you know I've been waiting
- 0:27Speaker 2: to tell you this for thirty six hours?
- 0:29Speaker 1: Do you know?
- 0:29Speaker 2: They I go to the same gym as our engineer
- 0:32Speaker 2: Jeffrey Tubbs tell me more. And there's an outdoor part
- 0:37Speaker 2: of the gym. There's some astro turf, and I happened
- 0:40Speaker 2: to be at the gym at the same time, Miss
- 0:41Speaker 2: Jeffrey Tubbs.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Who's out there on the astro turf.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Now, when you see someone you work with with their
- 0:47Speaker 2: shirt off, can.
- 0:49Speaker 1: You look at them the same way? On Monday?
- 0:51Speaker 3: Uh?
- 0:51Speaker 4: Yeah, I cannot.
- 0:53Speaker 1: I cannot. Guys.
- 0:55Speaker 2: I want you to know, Tubs, you have a microphone
- 0:56Speaker 2: over there. I want you to know, Well, I figure
- 0:59Speaker 2: one out. I waited to he was on the AstroTurf
- 1:03Speaker 2: doing that kettlebell stuff with no shirt.
- 1:06Speaker 1: No shirt? Now, do you know what do you know about?
- 1:12Speaker 5: Tell us?
- 1:12Speaker 1: What can I tell you about you?
- 1:13Speaker 2: And no shirt? You tell me what I can tell you?
- 1:17Speaker 2: Have you seen your back? It's amazing, it is amazing.
- 1:24Speaker 2: I wanted to brush it. It was.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Oh yeah, wow.
- 1:34Speaker 2: I don't know if it's ripped or not. But I
- 1:36Speaker 2: could have come over here and just taken my comb
- 1:39Speaker 2: through it. I can't unsee it. No, it's only say
- 1:43Speaker 2: this because like you like hair, right, Tanya Love, I
- 1:46Speaker 2: happened to have just trimmed mine down the night before.
- 1:49Speaker 1: That's a show that it's crazy to have the juxtaposition
- 1:52Speaker 1: of this. I mean you like shaved yours down.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Well, I got a little crazy with the guard. I
- 2:04Speaker 2: wound the guard too tight. I meant to do it
- 2:07Speaker 2: as a three, and it went to a one. I
- 2:08Speaker 2: clicked and once you go one, once you go one
- 2:11Speaker 2: row on a one. Yes, the whole body's now is
- 2:14Speaker 2: zero almost what you do on.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Your alone time.
- 2:18Speaker 6: It's great.
- 2:19Speaker 2: It's only somebody who could experience it with me there
- 2:22Speaker 2: so ironic that I had just smoothing myself out accidentally
- 2:26Speaker 2: and tubbs.
- 2:27Speaker 1: There he is there. He is the opposite of me.
- 2:31Speaker 4: Why take off the shirt though? Is it that hot
- 2:32Speaker 4: time a shirt?
- 2:35Speaker 2: I got sidetracked? Why is your shirt off? No one
- 2:38Speaker 2: else has the shirt off? Why what do you mean?
- 2:41Speaker 1: Know who? He was there?
- 2:42Speaker 4: I was there, was there, It was just the two
- 2:47Speaker 4: of you.
- 2:47Speaker 1: No, he was It was already off when I got there.
- 2:49Speaker 1: He was there before me.
- 2:51Speaker 7: In Tubbs's defense, I too don't like wearing a shirt
- 2:54Speaker 7: when I work out.
- 2:55Speaker 1: So is just naked all the time.
- 2:58Speaker 4: The amount of times I've seen her just naked is
- 3:01Speaker 4: just We're not okay.
- 3:03Speaker 1: But it's okay. I can't start this week this way
- 3:05Speaker 1: with you people. All right, I need a break.
- 3:09Speaker 2: I need a break, but I cannot unsee what I
- 3:11Speaker 2: saw this weekend. Take I waited thirty six hours to
- 3:15Speaker 2: tell you all that thirty six hours. Any tickets are next?
- 3:18Speaker 2: Good morning, all it's his I want to just recap this.
- 3:24Speaker 2: This is something that we got into vision boy. We
- 3:26Speaker 2: did need these things, right, fermented things and vision boards
- 3:30Speaker 2: and bucket lists. Hold on, so have you got it
- 3:33Speaker 2: any of the things on your bucket list that you
- 3:34Speaker 2: said no?
- 3:35Speaker 8: And it was brought to my attention that I like
- 3:37Speaker 8: you I tried to do this like two years ago,
- 3:38Speaker 8: and I maybe did one thing on it. But that's
- 3:41Speaker 8: the thing about a bucket list is that you can
- 3:44Speaker 8: just keep adding to it. And so this year I
- 3:46Speaker 8: try to simplify it and to make it things that
- 3:48Speaker 8: I can actually accomplish in twenty twenty six.
- 3:51Speaker 2: But just the concept of a bucket list, I keep
- 3:54Speaker 2: telling you, bucket means die.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Like you kick the bucket, you die, Like this is
- 3:59Speaker 1: your mid list.
- 4:02Speaker 8: Okay, but if I were to die at the end
- 4:05Speaker 8: of this year, then.
- 4:06Speaker 4: Maybe I accomplished a few things.
- 4:07Speaker 1: One see what I mean. Like, the conversation is dark
- 4:12Speaker 1: dark what do we call it?
- 4:13Speaker 4: And uh they call it a hopeful list? Hopeful list?
- 4:17Speaker 2: Forget the list, forget the list. This is the year
- 4:20Speaker 2: of whimsy.
- 4:21Speaker 1: All right, you're just whimsy list.
- 4:30Speaker 2: We talked about the number one search on Google.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Wis whims, damn wims everywhere.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Cut out the lists, cut out the agenda's whimsy, playful, spontaneous.
- 4:42Speaker 8: They are playful and spontaneous.
- 4:44Speaker 1: This is the year of whimsy for me, me, this is.
- 4:47Speaker 8: You could do all of these with me. Just give
- 4:49Speaker 8: me two, Just give me two, okay. Rock climbing, no
- 4:56Speaker 8: I'm gonna fall, mister workout and I show my biceps
- 4:59Speaker 8: to everybody.
- 5:00Speaker 4: You don't want to like rock climate polze, do.
- 5:02Speaker 1: It in like a little wall in a controlled.
- 5:05Speaker 8: Setting where you want to harness and then, like I.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Thought, you want me to free solo, free solo. That's
- 5:10Speaker 1: why you're way. It will be our bucket list. I
- 5:13Speaker 1: give you one more.
- 5:15Speaker 8: Okay, I I want to stop saying let's get together
- 5:18Speaker 8: and then we don't get together.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Okay, well just stop saying.
- 5:25Speaker 9: You all.
- 5:25Speaker 8: Everyone does it. Everyone in this room does it. Let's
- 5:29Speaker 8: get together, let's think. We all say to each other,
- 5:31Speaker 8: oh my gosh, how long. Let's get together, Let's have dinner,
- 5:33Speaker 8: let's do this, and it does. The whole year goes by.
- 5:35Speaker 2: And we don't. That's what we do as people. We
- 5:37Speaker 2: say things all the time that we are not going
- 5:39Speaker 2: to do. You got to work on that. It's It's
- 5:42Speaker 2: the year, isn't it, dear, don't be so rigid with
- 5:47Speaker 2: your list. And Sea Crest here. Have you seen or
- 5:50Speaker 2: heard of the Savannah Bananas. They actually performed on New
- 5:53Speaker 2: Year's Eve and I did a couple of steps with
- 5:57Speaker 2: these guys. A Savannah Bananas. You know who they are
- 6:00Speaker 2: assistint I know who they.
- 6:01Speaker 8: I got introduced to them all last year and I
- 6:03Speaker 8: was just like fascinated more and more I watched them.
- 6:07Speaker 2: So we have Actually one of the contestants on American
- 6:10Speaker 2: Idol is a tailgater, a Texas Tailgator, same league as
- 6:15Speaker 2: the Bananas. They go out there, they entertain, They've got
- 6:17Speaker 2: I mean, I was talking to these guys. One of
- 6:20Speaker 2: the guys that I was talking to with the Savanna
- 6:21Speaker 2: Bananas was a ballet dancer slash baseball player. And Jason
- 6:26Speaker 2: Arendt is here. He auditioned for American Idol. He comes
- 6:29Speaker 2: in with the Tailgaters quickly. What is your professional background?
- 6:35Speaker 5: My professional background is I played college baseball, and while
- 6:39Speaker 5: I was in my senior year of college baseball, I
- 6:42Speaker 5: was on the road with my band during the season.
- 6:44Speaker 5: So we'd go play Thursday night show somewhere and then
- 6:48Speaker 5: drive through the night back to make it to the
- 6:50Speaker 5: game Friday, Saturday Sunday for my college baseball games at
- 6:53Speaker 5: UNS and Willington.
- 6:54Speaker 6: And when Matt.
- 6:55Speaker 5: Finished and I graduated, I just went full time on
- 6:58Speaker 5: the road with my band on the weekends and then
- 7:00Speaker 5: work construction during the week for about six months, and.
- 7:04Speaker 6: Then that was when the owner of the Banana, Jesse Coe,
- 7:07Speaker 6: called me.
- 7:08Speaker 5: I was like, Hey, we want to start this team
- 7:10Speaker 5: called the Texas Tailgaters that does music and baseball together.
- 7:14Speaker 6: Would you be interested?
- 7:15Speaker 1: And I was like, I'm in dream. I mean, you
- 7:19Speaker 1: obviously are good.
- 7:20Speaker 2: These are the Harlem Globetrotters right on the baseball field.
- 7:23Speaker 1: It is.
- 7:24Speaker 2: I first saw the Savannah Bananas on Jimmy Fallon Show
- 7:28Speaker 2: and I could not believe what I saw. So you're
- 7:32Speaker 2: a good dancer then, I mean you always were a
- 7:33Speaker 2: good dancer.
- 7:35Speaker 6: I would say I was never the best dancer, but
- 7:38Speaker 6: I've really had to learn.
- 7:39Speaker 2: But you did great. What was experience like for you'll
- 7:41Speaker 2: see Jason Aren't on American Idol? What was it like
- 7:44Speaker 2: for you?
- 7:45Speaker 5: It was so cool, you know, I've dreamed of that
- 7:50Speaker 5: kind of a scenario for a long time. Scotty McCreery
- 7:53Speaker 5: is from right around the corner for me and Garner,
- 7:56Speaker 5: which is ten or fifteen minutes from my house. So
- 7:58Speaker 5: getting to watch him go through that experience was something
- 8:01Speaker 5: that I really like valued when I was younger, and
- 8:04Speaker 5: so getting to actually step on foot there on American
- 8:07Speaker 5: Idol was really cool and meeting some of those like
- 8:10Speaker 5: Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan I've looked up to for years,
- 8:13Speaker 5: so to actually get to meet them and interact with
- 8:15Speaker 5: them was super cool. And they were way more welcoming
- 8:17Speaker 5: than I was expecting. You know, sometimes you never know
- 8:19Speaker 5: what you're going to walk into, but it was super cool.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Well, we never know what's going to walk in as well,
- 8:24Speaker 2: and here's what walked into us. It's it's Jason's audition.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Oh I was gonna rasp the texture in his voice
- 8:34Speaker 1: too right and take a pay shot.
- 8:37Speaker 5: Show me watch God's Honey.
- 8:40Speaker 10: I'm not afraid you.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Have old is talent.
- 8:44Speaker 2: You're working in construction and waiting for your big break
- 8:46Speaker 2: and then book something like this happens. It's why we
- 8:50Speaker 2: love to do the show American Idol, meeting people like you.
- 8:54Speaker 2: What your teammates say about all this after it was
- 8:56Speaker 2: over the Tailgaters of Texas Tailgaters.
- 8:58Speaker 5: My teammates think it's awesome, you know, like getting to
- 9:01Speaker 5: tell them, hey, you know we're gonna we're gonna go
- 9:03Speaker 5: give this a shot and you guys are invited.
- 9:06Speaker 6: A bunch of them were like, dude, this is the
- 9:08Speaker 6: coolest thing ever. We want to jump all over that,
- 9:09Speaker 6: and so it was super cool to have some of
- 9:12Speaker 6: them with.
- 9:12Speaker 5: Me and to have some support and all that kind
- 9:14Speaker 5: of stuff, and they just they think it's so awesome.
- 9:17Speaker 5: I get questions every single day like what's going on,
- 9:20Speaker 5: what's happening, And I'm like, hang on with me.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Yeah, you're gonna see it all the time. Eight o'clock ADC.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Streaming the next day on Hulu. Jason Aren't look for
- 9:28Speaker 2: him on America out brother, Thank you so much for
- 9:30Speaker 2: coming out. Great to see you again.
- 9:32Speaker 6: Yeah, thank you for having me.
- 9:34Speaker 1: All right, see.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Kiss you all ready for your quote of the day.
- 9:37Speaker 2: And also, here is something interesting. Oh no, it's February second.
- 9:43Speaker 2: That means Valentine's Date's coming up. Sorry'm sidetracking myself, but
- 9:46Speaker 2: I'm bringing that up because aren't you going, Mikayla to
- 9:48Speaker 2: that Lover's Convention?
- 9:50Speaker 9: I am.
- 9:50Speaker 4: I'm going to the Valentine's Day event.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Match This is actually it's a great idea.
- 9:54Speaker 4: This was so cool.
- 9:55Speaker 2: There's a thousand people being set up by matchmakers going
- 9:58Speaker 2: to a Valentine's Day event. We're gonna talk about that
- 10:00Speaker 2: this morning at a festival. Yes, it's a it's a
- 10:03Speaker 2: festival of hearts. Okay, So everybody's trying to save a
- 10:06Speaker 2: little bit always, and especially at the beginning of the
- 10:09Speaker 2: year after all of this stuff. So we're trying to
- 10:11Speaker 2: save groceries. Let's talk about that saving on your groceries.
- 10:15Speaker 2: You will definitely spend less if you don't take the
- 10:19Speaker 2: free sample. So true, don't eat the free samples. The
- 10:22Speaker 2: chemistry in your body it says you're hungry. You will
- 10:24Speaker 2: buy less. Do not be baited, do not be roped
- 10:28Speaker 2: in by the smell of that thing on the.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Toothpick, and then you know you buy it. I'm a buyer.
- 10:33Speaker 8: It's like some chicken sausage and I'm like, oh, it's delicious,
- 10:35Speaker 8: Give you two bags.
- 10:37Speaker 2: And that's the point. That is the point I'm research
- 10:41Speaker 2: prooves were twice.
- 10:42Speaker 4: That's whether everybone's out there with those little stamp yet.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Stands in toothpicks, because we're twice as likely to buy
- 10:49Speaker 2: what we taste. Even if we don't like it, we
- 10:51Speaker 2: buy it. Today's quote sometimes you need to run away,
- 10:56Speaker 2: just skeletor.
- 11:01Speaker 4: And I was directed at you.
- 11:04Speaker 1: I felt it.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Serena Carpenter at kids, All right, Jordan's to the mic
- 11:09Speaker 2: over here. Jordan in the back room went out on
- 11:11Speaker 2: a date this weekend. Don't forget anybody goes on dates,
- 11:14Speaker 2: you got to tell me about them. Yeah, okay, that's
- 11:16Speaker 2: our role here, we got Yeah, you can't just go
- 11:18Speaker 2: out and not tell us. We want to know, especially
- 11:21Speaker 2: if it didn't go well. And that's the case with Jordan.
- 11:23Speaker 7: That rule applies to you too, by the way, Okay,
- 11:31Speaker 7: got some stuff to reveal to you.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Maybe next weekend, next Monday week from we can.
- 11:36Speaker 4: Just start sharing location, my schedules published.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Just watch my schedule.
- 11:41Speaker 4: No, no, no, no, I know your schedule.
- 11:43Speaker 1: It's a published schedule or shared. That's what it is.
- 11:48Speaker 1: It's shared. Let's get to the headlines. Isn't he just
- 11:51Speaker 1: FM headlines?
- 11:53Speaker 10: Well?
- 11:53Speaker 8: That Bunny took home Album of the Year At the
- 11:56Speaker 8: Grammys last night, Olivia Dean won Best New Artists, and
- 11:59Speaker 8: for these second year in a row, Kendrick Lamar took
- 12:02Speaker 8: home Record of the Year, this time for Luther with
- 12:04Speaker 8: Sizza and the USD Teachers voted overwhelmingly to authorize union
- 12:08Speaker 8: leaders to call a strike if negotiations continue to stall.
- 12:13Speaker 8: Mayor Karen bast will deliver her State of the City
- 12:15Speaker 8: address at three pm today and Punk Satani Field did
- 12:20Speaker 8: see his shadow today, which means six more weeks of.
- 12:23Speaker 4: Winter on the way.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Welcome to kiss in the year of Whimsay, February second,
- 12:31Speaker 2: it was Monday.
- 12:32Speaker 1: To Seacrests, Listeney and Tanya.
- 12:34Speaker 2: All Right, Jordan in the back room went out on
- 12:37Speaker 2: a date over the weekend and the guy called you out,
- 12:40Speaker 2: called like red flag, called you out for your behavior.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Yep, what happened? Okay, that's a bit harsh that he
- 12:47Speaker 1: did it. What do he call out? Uh yeah.
- 12:51Speaker 4: He slid in my DMS.
- 12:52Speaker 3: And asked if we if I want to get coffee
- 12:55Speaker 3: with him? So we met at a local coffee shop
- 12:59Speaker 3: in Burbank. And what had happened was, I don't keep
- 13:03Speaker 3: my phone on, do not disturb. I'm very open when
- 13:06Speaker 3: it comes to like my notifications because I'm in a
- 13:09Speaker 3: bunch of group chats and i get emails all the above,
- 13:12Speaker 3: so my phone's always going off.
- 13:14Speaker 1: And uh yeah, he.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Kind of was giving like a side eye look as
- 13:19Speaker 3: if he was kind of bothered by my phone going
- 13:22Speaker 3: off all the time.
- 13:23Speaker 4: And I also kept it up faced up.
- 13:25Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I wasn't even thinking about it.
- 13:28Speaker 4: It wasn't even thinking twice.
- 13:30Speaker 3: So I go to the bathroom to do my own thing,
- 13:33Speaker 3: come back and his vibe just changed completely. So I asked, hey,
- 13:37Speaker 3: what's wrong, Like are we good?
- 13:39Speaker 4: He's just like, yeah, I don't know.
- 13:41Speaker 3: Your phone just keeps going off, like you're getting so
- 13:43Speaker 3: many messages, like what's up with that?
- 13:46Speaker 2: Any And first of all, having your phone out, having
- 13:48Speaker 2: your phone up and the notifications going off is totally annoying.
- 13:52Speaker 3: Well, one, we were outside and it was like outside
- 13:57Speaker 3: and you don't even hear the vibration like the street,
- 14:00Speaker 3: like the cars are going by the street, Like I.
- 14:02Speaker 4: Don't know, you're getting distracted by it?
- 14:04Speaker 1: Yes, I was.
- 14:05Speaker 2: He's getting distracted by it. And plus who's hitting you
- 14:08Speaker 2: up so many times within this hour?
- 14:10Speaker 3: Well that's what I was trying to explain to him.
- 14:12Speaker 3: And when I was, he kind of was just like,
- 14:16Speaker 3: you know, I'm not gonna I don't want to try
- 14:17Speaker 3: to be like rude or anything, but it's just giving
- 14:19Speaker 3: red flag behavior.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Now saying those words is red flaggy too.
- 14:25Speaker 3: Yeah, why I doing so well? And I kind of explained,
- 14:29Speaker 3: and he wanted to see how many texts and notifications
- 14:31Speaker 3: I get? And I have over six hundred and fifty
- 14:35Speaker 3: text and.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Ill share some of that people with us for rating.
- 14:43Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, I just don't want, like if I
- 14:46Speaker 3: don't need to answer, I like, if it's like so
- 14:48Speaker 3: many texts, I get overwhelmed and I just pretend that
- 14:51Speaker 3: it doesn't exist.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Okay, So Jordan, it's red flaggy that he called out
- 14:55Speaker 2: a red flag. And it's also red flaggy that you
- 14:57Speaker 2: have so many things popping off in the middle of
- 14:58Speaker 2: a date. Put your phone away, give the guy. This
- 15:01Speaker 2: guy's out. This guy's out. I don't like his red
- 15:03Speaker 2: flag behavior anyway, but this guy's out. But your phones
- 15:07Speaker 2: are an issue. You cannot look down at your phone.
- 15:09Speaker 2: You cannot get sucked into your phone because it really
- 15:12Speaker 2: is rude, and especially when you're trying to make a
- 15:14Speaker 2: first impression. I have a little cubby Tony, did you
- 15:17Speaker 2: give me this?
- 15:18Speaker 1: And I find it?
- 15:20Speaker 2: Okay, Tony sent me a link to a little cubby
- 15:22Speaker 2: box that you put your phone in when you want
- 15:24Speaker 2: to get ready phone. Now, not out at a place,
- 15:26Speaker 2: but if you ever go to his or he goes yours,
- 15:28Speaker 2: put it in the cubby and you don't your phone
- 15:32Speaker 2: to my car, to my car.
- 15:35Speaker 1: That's why I putting in a back.
- 15:36Speaker 7: Seat and bringing it to your date's house.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Coffee and a copy for your phone. I don't know
- 15:43Speaker 2: what's going to happen. This might be the problem now
- 15:49Speaker 2: you're red flagging me. I read about it and if
- 15:54Speaker 2: it goes well from Mikayla, I might go next year. Uh,
- 15:57Speaker 2: it is the Los Angeles match Making Festival?
- 16:01Speaker 1: Why not? The apps are not working out.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Random meeting of people is almost impossible, so why not
- 16:08Speaker 2: have the matchmaking festival? You know, go ahead and just
- 16:11Speaker 2: cut to the chase. But hey, we're all here to
- 16:13Speaker 2: meet each other. Does anybody have a compatibility factor?
- 16:17Speaker 5: Now?
- 16:17Speaker 2: Dre Ramirez, who's been on the show before, she's behind
- 16:22Speaker 2: all of this. The LA match Making Festival. It's a
- 16:25Speaker 2: massive in person matchmaking festival. Thousand singles are going to
- 16:28Speaker 2: spend the day flirting and dancing and hopefully finding love.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Why wouldn't you want to do that if you're single? Ray,
- 16:35Speaker 2: have you done this before?
- 16:36Speaker 11: No, this is our first.
- 16:37Speaker 12: Time doing it, but it has been done in Ireland
- 16:41Speaker 12: for the past I think one hundred and sixty five years.
- 16:44Speaker 12: Oh Monthly festival. Ye, hasn't it crazy?
- 16:47Speaker 1: It took us a while to match on.
- 16:51Speaker 12: I know, I found out about it. It's so it's
- 16:54Speaker 12: like a month long festival in like this really small
- 16:56Speaker 12: town in Ireland and it happens every September. And so
- 16:59Speaker 12: this past September it kept popping up for me and
- 17:02Speaker 12: I looked into it and I was like, I don't
- 17:04Speaker 12: know why we're not doing this here. So then I
- 17:06Speaker 12: did some research and it just doesn't exist in the
- 17:08Speaker 12: United States. So I was like, all right, let's do
- 17:11Speaker 12: it on Valentine's Day. So we've been planning it since October.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Great idea.
- 17:16Speaker 2: The only matchmaking festival is twelve days out, there's a
- 17:18Speaker 2: pieating contest.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Well, how do you what's that for?
- 17:21Speaker 2: And how do you what are the compatibility tests at
- 17:23Speaker 2: this thing for the thousand people trying to find their
- 17:25Speaker 2: other person?
- 17:27Speaker 12: So we have like our own matchmaking technology that's kind
- 17:31Speaker 12: of happening in the background. So every single person who
- 17:34Speaker 12: is rsvping for the event has to complete like a
- 17:37Speaker 12: short profile and then once they check in it's so
- 17:41Speaker 12: cool and then so once they check in, they'll be
- 17:43Speaker 12: able to see all the other singles at the event
- 17:46Speaker 12: and their compatibility with each of them.
- 17:49Speaker 1: This is really a great idea.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Thank you to the Irish and thank you to you
- 17:53Speaker 2: Drey Ramirez as well for.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Bringing it over. Thank you Michael.
- 17:57Speaker 2: I don't know, I've been so excited for you for
- 17:58Speaker 2: something in a long time.
- 18:00Speaker 4: I'm so excited. I'm going with seven of my girlfriends.
- 18:03Speaker 4: I also just found out David.
- 18:06Speaker 1: What's you guys match?
- 18:11Speaker 2: He works here. What if you guys match? What does
- 18:13Speaker 2: the pie eating contest tell you about a person?
- 18:16Speaker 12: Okay, so it's like twelve the festival is twelve hours long,
- 18:20Speaker 12: so we want to like create like a bunch of
- 18:22Speaker 12: different activities throughout the day. So one of the things
- 18:25Speaker 12: is a pie eating contest, but it's who can eat
- 18:28Speaker 12: it the sexiest, not the fastest. I love and that's.
- 18:33Speaker 1: No, I don't want to see.
- 18:37Speaker 4: What are some other categories.
- 18:42Speaker 12: So we have a bunch of speed dating events. We
- 18:44Speaker 12: are going to have some Cupid sidings, so cute it'll
- 18:47Speaker 12: be there. Something I'm really excited about is like our
- 18:50Speaker 12: dating casting tape, so like if you remember what they
- 18:53Speaker 12: used to do in the eighties, wherehere they have to
- 18:55Speaker 12: do like a self tape basically talking about why you
- 18:57Speaker 12: should date them. And then we're going to stream not
- 19:00Speaker 12: am part of the festival we'll have the tarot cards.
- 19:04Speaker 12: I think there's gonna be like a taco eating contest.
- 19:07Speaker 1: That's better.
- 19:08Speaker 8: There we go.
- 19:08Speaker 10: You got.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Like burping up some tacos after you meet somebody.
- 19:14Speaker 12: Wait, it's gonna be so fun.
- 19:16Speaker 2: No, it's gonna be I love the idea. I think
- 19:18Speaker 2: you're on something here. It's at Benny Boy Brewing and
- 19:21Speaker 2: Lincoln Heights. Benny Boy Brewing and Lincoln Heights, Valentine's Day
- 19:25Speaker 2: at noon for twelve hours open anyone over chilling.
- 19:30Speaker 12: Yes, and you don't have to stay the whole time.
- 19:32Speaker 12: You can come and go. We already have over two
- 19:34Speaker 12: thousand people rs.
- 19:35Speaker 1: VP for these.
- 19:36Speaker 2: But how are people not going to meet people? McKayla,
- 19:39Speaker 2: you're gonna meet so many.
- 19:41Speaker 12: Your husband is there, Mikayla, your husband is there? Okay,
- 19:45Speaker 12: Well make sure that happens.
- 19:47Speaker 2: Okay, and if not, dude's there all right, exactly to
- 19:53Speaker 2: be fun, all right?
- 19:55Speaker 1: I love it.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Dre Ramirez, David Albarez, Mikayla all from the on air,
- 19:59Speaker 2: Prian Sea, Christina done. Hey, Fonzie, about two thirty. If
- 20:04Speaker 2: it's going well, ring me A'll zip down. Thanks to Ray.
- 20:08Speaker 2: You take care and good luck. This is great. This
- 20:12Speaker 2: is great Matchmaking Festival dot Com. Check it out.
- 20:17Speaker 1: One A two point seven Kiss FM.
- 20:20Speaker 2: It's time for Ryan's roses and Camilla and Sherman Oaks
- 20:23Speaker 2: is on the phone. So, Camilla, you cheated on your
- 20:25Speaker 2: husband two years ago. You obviously you say you regret
- 20:28Speaker 2: it every day, you're working through it. He stayed with you,
- 20:32Speaker 2: but lately he's been distant and you become basically roommates.
- 20:36Speaker 1: There is no spark. Is your gut telling you that
- 20:40Speaker 1: he's cheating?
- 20:41Speaker 5: Now?
- 20:42Speaker 9: It is my gut is telling me he's distant and
- 20:46Speaker 9: he's on his phone all the time and something is up,
- 20:51Speaker 9: especially because what really kind of blew this all up
- 20:55Speaker 9: in my face was he didn't come home the other.
- 20:59Speaker 11: Night, like at all.
- 21:01Speaker 1: And what he say he was doing? What'd he tell you?
- 21:05Speaker 11: Well, that's the thing. I was in the kitchen. I
- 21:07Speaker 11: woke up. He was gone, you know, his side of
- 21:09Speaker 11: the bed, never slept in. I went downstairs going about
- 21:13Speaker 11: our day and we've got kids, so, you know, taking
- 21:16Speaker 11: care of the kids and stuff. And he comes into
- 21:19Speaker 11: the kitchen and I say, where were you? I was
- 21:24Speaker 11: I've been worried sick, you know, because I had looked
- 21:26Speaker 11: and the location was off on his phone and he said,
- 21:30Speaker 11: you know, because I said where were you or whatever?
- 21:32Speaker 11: And he goes, why do you think I was out
- 21:34Speaker 11: cheating on you? Yeah, and then he literally let out
- 21:39Speaker 11: this horrible laugh and went upstairs. Thank god. One of
- 21:44Speaker 11: my one of our kids was like on his iPad
- 21:45Speaker 11: and did here, and the other one was up there.
- 21:47Speaker 11: But I was just like, shook, you know.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Here's the thing. Come in and we're gonna put you
- 21:51Speaker 1: on all We're gonna call hi.
- 21:52Speaker 2: We're gonna find out, like what if he is cheating
- 21:54Speaker 2: on you, are you going to forgive him like he
- 21:56Speaker 2: forgave you and start over.
- 21:58Speaker 1: That's what you got to think about.
- 21:59Speaker 11: Then what Yeah, I don't know, Like maybe it's over.
- 22:03Speaker 11: But we were going to therapy. I mean we were
- 22:06Speaker 11: going to therapy. I felt like it was helping. I
- 22:09Speaker 11: don't want to give up on our relationship, but either way,
- 22:11Speaker 11: I certainly can't live. I can't live the way I'm
- 22:14Speaker 11: living right now.
- 22:15Speaker 2: I understands us a peace of mind, hold on, like
- 22:18Speaker 2: the guy, if he is doing it, it's just going
- 22:21Speaker 2: to go, well, you did it, now, I did it?
- 22:23Speaker 1: What do we do now?
- 22:26Speaker 2: It's a fam it's Ryan's roses for Sarah styles aperture
- 22:29Speaker 2: and we made the call to her husband or in
- 22:32Speaker 2: the middle of Ryan's roses. So here's the deal. Camilla
- 22:35Speaker 2: admitted that she cheated on her husband two years ago.
- 22:38Speaker 2: She regretted it. They're working through it now. She thinks
- 22:40Speaker 2: he's doing the same thing, so can he.
- 22:46Speaker 4: Two wrongs don't make a right.
- 22:48Speaker 2: But he if he's doing it, he's just going to say, well,
- 22:51Speaker 2: you did it, Now I did it.
- 22:53Speaker 1: The question is now why.
- 22:54Speaker 4: Well, now she forgives him revenge cheating.
- 22:56Speaker 2: So does she forgive him and they start over? Is
- 22:59Speaker 2: it better that he cheats then so they can both
- 23:01Speaker 2: start from zero?
- 23:02Speaker 1: I don't know. The whole cheating is a lot, but
- 23:05Speaker 1: you are saying what I'm saying. I do Yeah, No,
- 23:08Speaker 1: all right.
- 23:08Speaker 2: Let me get Kamila on the line. So Camilla, just
- 23:11Speaker 2: think about this. If you find out he is doing
- 23:13Speaker 2: what you did to him, what are you going to do.
- 23:16Speaker 2: In the meantime, I need you to say, Ryan, you
- 23:18Speaker 2: have my permission to call, and then his name.
- 23:21Speaker 11: Go ahead, Ryan, you have my permission to call.
- 23:28Speaker 2: We are going to do that right now. Be very quiet,
- 23:33Speaker 2: and let's see what we can find out. Do you
- 23:38Speaker 2: have any idea who the other woman might be if
- 23:39Speaker 2: he has seen somebody else?
- 23:42Speaker 11: No clue, no clue. But I'm just sick to my stum.
- 23:46Speaker 11: Literally like I feel like I'm be.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Quiet, be very quiet right here. Let's see we can
- 23:50Speaker 1: find out. Good luck.
- 24:04Speaker 4: Hello, Hi, can I speak to Josh please?
- 24:08Speaker 13: Yes speaking.
- 24:09Speaker 12: Hi.
- 24:09Speaker 8: My name is Mandy. I'm calling from the Fancy Flores.
- 24:11Speaker 8: We're in Sherman Oaks on Ventura and we have a
- 24:15Speaker 8: promotion today.
- 24:15Speaker 4: It's a free dozen red roses that you can send
- 24:17Speaker 4: anybody that you like.
- 24:21Speaker 13: Like, what is it like fake roses or something?
- 24:24Speaker 8: No, no, no, it's a dozen beautiful red roses. We
- 24:27Speaker 8: can even do long stem if you prefer that. As
- 24:30Speaker 8: we are getting closer to Valentine's Day, we're just trying
- 24:33Speaker 8: to do a promotion so that if you like our arrangements,
- 24:36Speaker 8: you come back as a customer one day.
- 24:38Speaker 4: Whoever receives them comes back as a customer.
- 24:42Speaker 13: Okay, Well, what's the catch here?
- 24:46Speaker 4: Nothing I do.
- 24:47Speaker 8: I don't need cash from you, I don't need your
- 24:49Speaker 8: credit card, I don't need anything like that. We would
- 24:51Speaker 8: just need the name of the person you want to
- 24:53Speaker 8: send them to, and then a.
- 24:54Speaker 13: Note, Yeah, you know what I'm also said, thanks, I'm
- 24:57Speaker 13: not interested, but thank you.
- 24:58Speaker 4: Are you sure there's nobody in your life you'd want
- 24:59Speaker 4: to say flowers? Are you married with a girlfriend?
- 25:02Speaker 5: Mom?
- 25:02Speaker 13: Nope, there is not. I'm sorry you have a good day.
- 25:05Speaker 12: About the luck.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Hey, Josh your voice of being breakfast on the radio.
- 25:07Speaker 1: I need you to know that. My name is Ryan.
- 25:09Speaker 2: I've got your wife Camilla on the line, and she
- 25:11Speaker 2: thinks you're cheating on her.
- 25:14Speaker 1: What do you what?
- 25:16Speaker 2: Your wife? You cheated on you? She told me the
- 25:18Speaker 2: story two years ago. Thinks you're doing the same thing
- 25:19Speaker 2: to herd are you.
- 25:23Speaker 6: Wait?
- 25:23Speaker 13: How do you know about wait?
- 25:24Speaker 1: How do you know she told me?
- 25:25Speaker 2: She told me, she said she regrets it. You guys
- 25:28Speaker 2: have been working through it and now you've been distant.
- 25:30Speaker 2: She thinks you're doing the same thing, and if you are,
- 25:33Speaker 2: tell her because she's got then you guys got to
- 25:36Speaker 2: decide what to do.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Are you?
- 25:39Speaker 13: She thinks I'm having an affair, so she has the
- 25:41Speaker 13: radio station to call me to see if I'm cheating.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Yes, that's correct.
- 25:45Speaker 13: Well did she tell you she cheated on me?
- 25:47Speaker 5: She did?
- 25:47Speaker 1: Yes, I just told you that. Oh well good good, Sorry, Yeah,
- 25:52Speaker 1: I guess, does that mean you're doing it back?
- 25:56Speaker 13: No, but honestly I wish I.
- 25:58Speaker 1: Was, so you're not. But you think you if you did,
- 26:03Speaker 1: would you what would you do? If you did? What
- 26:05Speaker 1: would you say to her?
- 26:07Speaker 13: I don't know. I would say maybe she got a
- 26:10Speaker 13: taste of what it's been like for me for the
- 26:11Speaker 13: last few years.
- 26:12Speaker 1: That's something in your head that you might do it, Josh.
- 26:15Speaker 4: It sounds like you did it, Josh.
- 26:18Speaker 13: I know I didn't, but I wish that I had,
- 26:21Speaker 13: you know what, And now that we're talking about it,
- 26:22Speaker 13: maybe I will.
- 26:23Speaker 2: But if you did, or you do, you think it's
- 26:26Speaker 2: justified because she did?
- 26:28Speaker 1: Am I correct?
- 26:32Speaker 10: You know what?
- 26:34Speaker 14: This is my fault? Listen, listen.
- 26:35Speaker 11: I am so sorry.
- 26:37Speaker 14: And I know they're like pushing you, but I definitely
- 26:39Speaker 14: feel I feel like at any moment, you're you're.
- 26:41Speaker 11: Either gonna cheat or you're cheating, and you're like holding
- 26:44Speaker 11: this over my head even though we're like trying to
- 26:46Speaker 11: work through it and we've gone to therapy and I told.
- 26:48Speaker 14: You a million times and I'm sorry, but I just
- 26:51Speaker 14: feel like we can't get past this. And I just
- 26:54Speaker 14: don't understand why you won't talk to me and then
- 26:55Speaker 14: you didn't come home and he threw that in my
- 26:58Speaker 14: face and ran upstairs. It's like, what am I supposed
- 27:00Speaker 14: to think? I'm just so upset, Like I don't know.
- 27:06Speaker 11: I don't I just don't know what to do. I
- 27:11Speaker 11: think I really thought of alcase.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know.
- 27:14Speaker 13: Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. And I thought I
- 27:17Speaker 13: could get past this, you know, but I'm not sure
- 27:20Speaker 13: if I can, because you know what, maybe we'll just
- 27:24Speaker 13: get married for the kids and when they're done growing up,
- 27:27Speaker 13: we can just move on with this and go our
- 27:29Speaker 13: separate ways.
- 27:32Speaker 1: We're gonna let.
- 27:32Speaker 11: You guys, Yeah, we don't need to.
- 27:37Speaker 13: Talk about the radio is not a great way to
- 27:39Speaker 13: do this.
- 27:43Speaker 2: We're gonna take you off the radio right now and
- 27:45Speaker 2: and let you guys talk this out. Thank you, Josh,
- 27:48Speaker 2: thank you, Camilla. Good luck for both of you. You know,
- 27:54Speaker 2: when it happens, you don't you never get in my
- 27:56Speaker 2: mind is never get back from where you are too
- 27:59Speaker 2: at some point.
- 28:00Speaker 10: Let's kiss him out on air with Ryan Seacrest, one of.
- 28:07Speaker 2: Two point seven Kiss FM. Let's go to Whittier, Sarah,
- 28:10Speaker 2: how are you Sarah and Whittier this morning? Hi? Good,
- 28:14Speaker 2: thank you, good So your cousin wants to buy your car,
- 28:18Speaker 2: but you're not sure you should sell it to your cousin.
- 28:20Speaker 1: What's the issue, Well, it's a cheap.
- 28:25Speaker 11: The problem is it's old, so things tend to go
- 28:28Speaker 11: wrong in old cars. And if she gives me sixteen
- 28:31Speaker 11: thousand for it, which is what it's worth, and then
- 28:34Speaker 11: something goes wrong, it's going to be awkward and she
- 28:38Speaker 11: might ask for her money back.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Yes, I mean it could really ruin.
- 28:40Speaker 11: A relationship and be like a whole family thing.
- 28:43Speaker 1: So I think you're right. How do you tell her this?
- 28:47Speaker 11: I don't know, Like I kind of wanted to sell
- 28:49Speaker 11: out the car Masks or Carvana and then I don't
- 28:51Speaker 11: have to deal with anything like that, you.
- 28:52Speaker 2: Know, I think it's can't you just say you have
- 28:55Speaker 2: a house rule that you don't do business with family
- 28:59Speaker 2: so that it doesn't ever get awkward?
- 29:01Speaker 4: I mean that right there is going to make it awkward.
- 29:04Speaker 2: No, because it's not just she really wants to buy it.
- 29:08Speaker 10: But.
- 29:09Speaker 1: You have a choice. What's worse just saying you've got this.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Rule that you you know that you always stand by,
- 29:14Speaker 2: or taking the risk and having it get awkward if
- 29:17Speaker 2: the car breaks down after you make the deal. I
- 29:19Speaker 2: think it's better just to be straightforward and say, look,
- 29:21Speaker 2: you don't want it to ever get uncomfortable out of
- 29:23Speaker 2: respect for your relationship as family, and you don't want
- 29:25Speaker 2: to make the deal.
- 29:27Speaker 11: Okay, yeah, it's it's easier that way than the other way.
- 29:34Speaker 1: It's definitely easier that way than the other way.
- 29:36Speaker 8: Can't you sign a contract or something like, hey, else,
- 29:39Speaker 8: say the car. If anything happens, you can't blame me
- 29:43Speaker 8: or be very transparent, like if there's anything ever been
- 29:45Speaker 8: issues with the car.
- 29:47Speaker 2: This is all the stuff you want to avoid with
- 29:48Speaker 2: family members, all of everything you just said.
- 29:52Speaker 4: Yeah, I know, all right.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Sarah, Well anything else we can do, good luck with
- 29:58Speaker 2: the sale, I think yourself.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Thank you so much.
- 30:02Speaker 2: If anything else, it shows it it's a hot commodity, right,
- 30:04Speaker 2: cousin wants a car, somebody else is gonna want the car.
- 30:08Speaker 2: So last night the Grammys on TV Going Down Live,
- 30:12Speaker 2: my mom watched and she texts me live.
- 30:14Speaker 1: It's so funny.
- 30:15Speaker 2: She texts me live during the show about what she
- 30:19Speaker 2: thinks and the biggest thing that she could not understand
- 30:24Speaker 2: was justin Bieber's boxers. Yeah, she was trying to figure
- 30:29Speaker 2: out she didn't even say the socks, but she she
- 30:32Speaker 2: goes did he run late?
- 30:34Speaker 1: Like what happened?
- 30:36Speaker 4: I think that was the look he was trying to give, relaxed.
- 30:40Speaker 1: He looks great in it, but it is a bold look,
- 30:43Speaker 1: you know.
- 30:44Speaker 7: I think it's supposed to be like a stripped down JB.
- 30:47Speaker 4: Okay, I see.
- 30:48Speaker 1: That it was a strip down JV.
- 30:49Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 30:51Speaker 8: I loved his little brown socks. I just you know,
- 30:52Speaker 8: he looks so comfortable and cozy.
- 30:54Speaker 1: He did not care in the world. The highlight for you, Sistany,
- 30:58Speaker 1: was what of all the Grammys last time?
- 31:00Speaker 8: I really loved the Best New Artist nominees medley where
- 31:04Speaker 8: they all got to perform and they were just bopping
- 31:06Speaker 8: around different stages.
- 31:07Speaker 4: I thought that was really cool.
- 31:08Speaker 8: And I really loved Sabrina Carpenter's performance Manchild.
- 31:12Speaker 1: Wow, she looked great. She was great. The performance was great.
- 31:16Speaker 2: It was so good, and we know her kinda but
- 31:20Speaker 2: I feel like we really you know, when you see
- 31:22Speaker 2: somebody I think you met, you're like, oh, that's my friend,
- 31:24Speaker 2: Uh huh, that's my friend doing that.
- 31:27Speaker 1: So Record of the Year Luther and here it is.
- 31:32Speaker 1: I saw that coming though. I picked that one.
- 31:37Speaker 2: I was watching by myself calling the winner before the
- 31:40Speaker 2: winner was called.
- 31:41Speaker 1: You that's all it's gonna be for sure, it's gonna
- 31:45Speaker 1: Luther Song of the Year Billie Eilish with this Wildflower?
- 31:56Speaker 1: Did you guess that one? I don't think that I did.
- 32:01Speaker 1: I did.
- 32:01Speaker 4: I did call Best New Artist though, that was the
- 32:03Speaker 4: one that I called.
- 32:05Speaker 2: So here is Bunny? So what was the deal with
- 32:15Speaker 2: Trevor and Baddie? Like he can't perform because the super
- 32:18Speaker 2: Bowl is so closed and it's inside the windows, so
- 32:20Speaker 2: he couldn't do anything on stage.
- 32:22Speaker 4: I guess there's some sort of like rule.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Actually that uh huh, it's it's a it's a blackout window.
- 32:28Speaker 8: But I mean a huge congratulations to bad Bunny. It's
- 32:31Speaker 8: the first time a Spanish album has ever won that
- 32:33Speaker 8: top prize. So it was incredible. His just just taking
- 32:37Speaker 8: in that moment when they announced him and he just
- 32:38Speaker 8: stood there and loved that, just took it all in.
- 32:41Speaker 4: It was beautiful.
- 32:42Speaker 2: Plus I've never met him, but I feel like I
- 32:45Speaker 2: love him.
- 32:46Speaker 1: Yeah, that guy.
- 32:50Speaker 2: We don't know each other, but if we were to
- 32:52Speaker 2: be in the same place, I would really love just
- 32:55Speaker 2: being in.
- 32:55Speaker 1: That same place. Yeah. So yeah, I called this to
- 32:58Speaker 1: Olivia Danger the Best New.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Artist and Lady Gaga of course a winner last night
- 33:08Speaker 2: with this.
- 33:11Speaker 4: Pop vocal album.
- 33:16Speaker 2: Yeah, Best Pop Vocal Album Lady Gaga. Mayhem So Trevor
- 33:23Speaker 2: Noah's monologue nice?
- 33:24Speaker 1: Does it live very well?
- 33:26Speaker 7: Can I tell you something that I appreciated so much?
- 33:28Speaker 7: It was very niche and you might have missed it.
- 33:31Speaker 7: But whoever on the Grammys team decided to play where
- 33:34Speaker 7: is My Husband? When Harry Styles.
- 33:38Speaker 5: Genius?
- 33:39Speaker 4: I couldn't get over it. It was so good, so good.
- 33:43Speaker 2: Yeah, So congrats to all the winners, the attendees. A
- 33:47Speaker 2: fun night of live music here Kiss FM coming up next.
- 33:51Speaker 2: We have not played speaking of Harry the Harry Styles
- 33:54Speaker 2: laugh before nine. If you hear it, call me you'll
- 33:58Speaker 2: qualify for a trip to New York to see him live.
- 34:01Speaker 2: Bruno looking good last night too?
- 34:03Speaker 1: Yeah? Oh yeah, right, so good.
- 34:06Speaker 2: Olivia Dean, big Grammy winner last night. What do they
- 34:11Speaker 2: do after? I feel like they go to do they
- 34:13Speaker 2: go to that jay Z Beyonce party?
- 34:15Speaker 1: There's so many.
- 34:15Speaker 4: Parties, so many parties.
- 34:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean literally, it's so funny because on Grammy Monday,
- 34:21Speaker 2: after the show, when we come into Burbank to work
- 34:24Speaker 2: all of the SUVs are still lined up at chateau,
- 34:29Speaker 2: at the Chateau Marmont where usually they have the party.
- 34:32Speaker 2: I don't know if they did last night or not,
- 34:33Speaker 2: but it's five am and they're still out. They're all
- 34:36Speaker 2: still out and all lined up to get home. I
- 34:39Speaker 2: don't know who was there, Maybe Olivia Dean was.
- 34:41Speaker 1: So can we talk.
- 34:42Speaker 2: About You know, when you do a live TV show,
- 34:45Speaker 2: especially a big show like that, so many different moving
- 34:48Speaker 2: parts have to execute perfectly right to work. So what
- 34:54Speaker 2: happened with Alex Warren? Let me play this back?
- 35:00Speaker 10: It was.
- 35:05Speaker 2: Like Alex in choir, right, So yeah, what technically happened
- 35:10Speaker 2: with that performance?
- 35:11Speaker 8: And I think what you're describing is a great way
- 35:13Speaker 8: to kind of paint the picture of everybody because he
- 35:16Speaker 8: was part of that new Artist nominee Medley, So there
- 35:19Speaker 8: was a lot of moving parts for all of those
- 35:21Speaker 8: artists coming from somewhere performing out in the back, like
- 35:24Speaker 8: Addison Ray was out in like that back part of
- 35:26Speaker 8: Crypto They're coming at. Kat's Eye was backstage, but then
- 35:29Speaker 8: they came on stage, and then Alex Warren was next,
- 35:32Speaker 8: and when he was also coming from like a backstage
- 35:34Speaker 8: area going into the middle of the arena, and there
- 35:38Speaker 8: was a moment where he was off. It didn't sound
- 35:40Speaker 8: that bad, but then you could just tell that he's
- 35:43Speaker 8: taking out his in ear and he's putting it back in.
- 35:45Speaker 8: He's messing with like the volume in the back, like
- 35:47Speaker 8: around his belt area, and then he caught it like
- 35:51Speaker 8: back in the middle of the song. He really pulled
- 35:53Speaker 8: it together and I think, like a true professional, like
- 35:56Speaker 8: performed one of the best performances that he's ever done.
- 35:58Speaker 4: He was like, he really did, like save it.
- 36:01Speaker 1: I thought.
- 36:02Speaker 8: And then he went on social media last night and
- 36:04Speaker 8: he was just really down on himself. He's like, when
- 36:07Speaker 8: you're performing at the Grammys and all you hear is
- 36:10Speaker 8: this in your ears, and that's when he put the
- 36:12Speaker 8: audio and he's just like, of course, that's what only
- 36:15Speaker 8: happened to me. But the commons are all so positive
- 36:17Speaker 8: saying that he completely is a true professional and just
- 36:21Speaker 8: really handle it like a pro.
- 36:23Speaker 5: Right.
- 36:23Speaker 2: So what happens is, and this happens every now and then,
- 36:26Speaker 2: you'll see an artist performing and they'll pull out the ear,
- 36:29Speaker 2: like the ear piece in the middle of the song
- 36:31Speaker 2: because there's a delay so they can't keep their time.
- 36:34Speaker 2: I've seen it happen so many times, and to continue
- 36:37Speaker 2: on it is a talent to be able to do so.
- 36:41Speaker 2: But when you're in that moment, you're this guy who's
- 36:45Speaker 2: new to all of them, who we love this guy too, right, Yes,
- 36:47Speaker 2: he's new to all of this, and the one person
- 36:50Speaker 2: that gets the feedback in the inner ears is him,
- 36:54Speaker 2: and in that moment, it's got to be super frustrating.
- 36:58Speaker 2: But I'm glad he posted that. Glad he showed what
- 37:01Speaker 2: happened so you could kind of understand.
- 37:04Speaker 8: And by the way he was like elevated like thirty
- 37:07Speaker 8: feet in the air on this little tiny circle, like
- 37:11Speaker 8: to be that up high and also have technical issues
- 37:14Speaker 8: in your ear and to put it all off, Yeah,
- 37:17Speaker 8: I think he did phenomenal.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Yeah, and he's not I mean, he's new to the
- 37:21Speaker 1: game in a way.
- 37:22Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 37:22Speaker 8: So yeah, let's not forget Like was it Adele that
- 37:25Speaker 8: stopped in the middle of her song like oh.
- 37:28Speaker 4: Years ago at the Amazing I need.
- 37:30Speaker 2: To start over, Let's go from the top for she
- 37:35Speaker 2: doesn't care. She didn't care it wasn't sounding right. She
- 37:39Speaker 2: wanted a perfect performance, and she said to the truck,
- 37:42Speaker 2: to everybody there, guys, I was just from the top
- 37:46Speaker 2: start over.
- 37:48Speaker 1: It was so cool.
- 37:50Speaker 2: Do you think Harry Styles thinks that were funny?
- 37:54Speaker 8: I think he does.
- 37:56Speaker 1: Really was that a real laugh? That was?
- 37:58Speaker 2: Yeah, that's so if you understand why I did that,
- 38:03Speaker 2: then you're in the know. So get in the know,
- 38:05Speaker 2: get it done, and I'll talk to you in a second.
- 38:07Speaker 2: Exciting because FM Summer in La.
- 38:09Speaker 1: Good morning, Hi, Ryan, good morning. How are you.
- 38:12Speaker 11: I'm wonderful.
- 38:14Speaker 5: Oh my gosh, you're so excited.
- 38:16Speaker 1: So last night the Grammys.
- 38:18Speaker 2: Today you you are qualified to go see Harry Styles
- 38:22Speaker 2: in concert in New York City.
- 38:26Speaker 12: Oh my gosh, my jaws on the floor.
- 38:33Speaker 11: Now that's why I'm not saying anything good.
- 38:35Speaker 1: I want to make sure.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Yeah, it's gonna be super, super good. So you've got
- 38:39Speaker 2: some merch from him, some vinyl from him. But now
- 38:42Speaker 2: just a few people will qualify. You are in the
- 38:44Speaker 2: running to go to New York to see one of
- 38:47Speaker 2: his shows, which is going to be amazing. It's going
- 38:50Speaker 2: to be theatrical, it's going to be dramatic, it's going
- 38:52Speaker 2: to be fantastic. I mean, Cisiny and Tanya just spent
- 38:55Speaker 2: some time with him over zoom. But what would you
- 38:58Speaker 2: like to say about what you felt, which she might see.
- 39:02Speaker 8: What struck me is that Harry kept mentioning that he
- 39:06Speaker 8: enjoyed during his time off going to other people's shows
- 39:09Speaker 8: and being in the crowd and experiencing the concert for
- 39:11Speaker 8: himself through his eyes. So I think, and I'm not sure,
- 39:15Speaker 8: I think that his stage will somehow be like immersed
- 39:18Speaker 8: in the crowd somehow, and that's gonna be something cool
- 39:21Speaker 8: to experience.
- 39:23Speaker 11: Oh my gosh, that's sounds incredible.
- 39:24Speaker 8: Maybe he comes down to the crowd like I don't know,
- 39:26Speaker 8: maybe he hops into different sections. Who knows.
- 39:29Speaker 3: I can't wait.
- 39:30Speaker 11: I can't wait to possibly see this. Thank you so much.
- 39:34Speaker 2: So here's the deal. We'll call you next week if
- 39:36Speaker 2: you are the winner. So hang tight. It's very soon,
- 39:39Speaker 2: but we appreciate you calling in congratulations.
- 39:43Speaker 13: Thank you so much, you guys.
- 39:44Speaker 11: He'll be have a great day.
- 39:45Speaker 2: Thank you again, and you too, have a great Monday summer.
- 39:48Speaker 2: Another shot to qualify tomorrow on.
- 39:51Speaker 10: Air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 39:54Speaker 2: It is Kiss FM JB daisies. He did it last night,
- 40:00Speaker 2: Yukon actually coming out there. We're so excited. When they
- 40:03Speaker 2: teased him, you know, when he tease who's next? I
- 40:06Speaker 2: didn't want to miss that one for sure, to miss
- 40:08Speaker 2: Justin Bieber came out doing his thing. Did you see
- 40:11Speaker 2: his wife soaking on so proud and.
- 40:14Speaker 1: His new tattoo?
- 40:17Speaker 4: I didn't really, I didn't realize. Yeah, his back, Hailey
- 40:22Speaker 4: Bieber's face really, yes, did.
- 40:25Speaker 1: You see that?
- 40:26Speaker 8: I just always knew he was like covered in tattoo,
- 40:27Speaker 8: So I didn't realize what was saying or what was not.
- 40:29Speaker 7: I just want to miss calf right, calf Yeah, but
- 40:33Speaker 7: that's not new.
- 40:34Speaker 4: That's not new.
- 40:35Speaker 2: And there was a big difference on the Grammys carpet
- 40:38Speaker 2: that you might not have noticed.
- 40:41Speaker 1: Tell me about that.
- 40:41Speaker 7: Ton so Serena carpenter gave a shout out to the
- 40:45Speaker 7: chapel effect, So I want to Usually red carpets are
- 40:48Speaker 7: super loud and noisies. There's tons of photographers. They are shouting,
- 40:52Speaker 7: look to the left, look to the right, look up here,
- 40:54Speaker 7: can we get a wave? And there's so many of them,
- 40:56Speaker 7: and they get louder and louder the more as the
- 40:58Speaker 7: more famous people come on the carpet. So you're listening
- 41:00Speaker 7: to all these different directions from all these different photographers. Chaos, loud, intimidating,
- 41:05Speaker 7: chapelerone had a very famous moment at the MTV Video
- 41:08Speaker 7: Music Award in twenty twenty four where she basically told
- 41:10Speaker 7: a photographer to shut the up, and that kind of
- 41:15Speaker 7: created this effect on the carpets. And when Sabrina Carpenter
- 41:18Speaker 7: stepped onto the Grammy's carpet last night, she said, you
- 41:20Speaker 7: guys are so quiet. This year, Chapel really started a movement.
- 41:24Speaker 7: She really whipped them into shape, and so it seems
- 41:27Speaker 7: like people are kind of just like listening to I mean,
- 41:30Speaker 7: Chapel was the first one, but I feel like people
- 41:32Speaker 7: have been saying that these carpets are getting a little
- 41:35Speaker 7: bit anxiety inducing with all the yelling and the shouting,
- 41:38Speaker 7: and they think they're taking it to heart and trying
- 41:40Speaker 7: to be a little bit more calm and quiet, which
- 41:42Speaker 7: I think is really cool.
- 41:44Speaker 2: I mean, I worked the red carpets for fifteen years.
- 41:47Speaker 2: That the Grammys, the Oscars, the Emmys, the Golden Globes,
- 41:51Speaker 2: and they are a bit chaotic and people do yell
- 41:54Speaker 2: and scream, and it is I mean, I do think
- 41:59Speaker 2: that most artists and actors have a little anxiety walk
- 42:03Speaker 2: in the carpet because you don't know what you know,
- 42:06Speaker 2: you're gonna be asked, you haven't won yet.
- 42:08Speaker 1: Maybe you had a beverage on the way in.
- 42:10Speaker 2: It seems like it would be fun, but I think
- 42:12Speaker 2: they do get a little anxiety, but yeah, maybe so.
- 42:16Speaker 2: It was called the Chapel roan of the Chapel effect,
- 42:19Speaker 2: the Chapel effect. Yeah, wrap it up for us today.
- 42:23Speaker 2: We're back tomorrow with just these great tickets. Ariana Grande
- 42:26Speaker 2: tickets that is sold out, Bruno Mar's tickets that is
