- 1:10Speaker 3: kisses and all that wonderful stuff on Valentine's I know,
- 1:15Speaker 3: I got my wife's things and she was very appreciative
- 1:21Speaker 3: and it was really good. I said a few things
- 1:24Speaker 3: on peacebook that were really awesome, and she enjoyed it,
- 1:29Speaker 3: and we watched the Romantic movie together, and I highly
- 1:34Speaker 3: recommend if anyone has watched it, I highly recommend watching
- 1:39Speaker 3: Longest Rye. It's a romantic movie. It's a novel by
- 1:48Speaker 3: Nick Nickolas. It's I'm sorry Nicholas Sparks. I'm sorry, I
- 1:54Speaker 3: got the got the name Nicholas Sparks. And it's really good.
- 2:01Speaker 3: I highly recommend it. And it worked really good. And
- 2:07Speaker 3: of course me and my wife loved those movies. And
- 2:14Speaker 3: now for today's episode, we are going somewhere and we
- 2:24Speaker 3: are going to talk to talk about a place that
- 2:28Speaker 3: you know, mostly what we talk about as far as
- 2:34Speaker 3: some of these places that used to be hotels or
- 2:39Speaker 3: hospitals that get converted into hotels like the Grand Hotel,
- 2:45Speaker 3: Draw and many other places, and all that energy is
- 2:50Speaker 3: trapped from whatever it used to be, and it's like
- 2:55Speaker 3: a basically a paranormal ghost tracks. You know, they're trapped
- 3:01Speaker 3: and they can't get out. What if there was a
- 3:08Speaker 3: place so bad that no matter what they did, they
- 3:18Speaker 3: just when they closed those doors, they couldn't. They don't
- 3:23Speaker 3: want to revent it or renovate it, turn into anything.
- 3:28Speaker 3: It's so haunted that they just left it as is.
- 3:35Speaker 3: There's some places like that. So for tonight's story, sit
- 3:40Speaker 3: Back Relapsed, turned down the Moons, snug with someone let's
- 3:48Speaker 3: gills story, and then usual presented your episode of tonight
- 3:56Speaker 3: we are talking about very haunted and very dangerous. Linda
- 4:04Speaker 3: Vista Hotel.
- 4:10Speaker 4: Linda Vista was his mainy, his beautiful view as it
- 4:15Speaker 4: was a former medical center located in Los Angeles, California.
- 4:22Speaker 3: The hospital original intention was to remain a hospital for
- 4:29Speaker 3: the for the employees of the Santa Fe Railroad and
- 4:33Speaker 3: was first known as the Santa Fe Coastlines Hospital. Hospital.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Witness death, disease, and subbury every day today or even today,
- 4:48Speaker 3: it is an assigned living facility called Calling Back Pis
- 4:55Speaker 3: that still watches people reach the ends of their lives.
- 4:59Speaker 3: In the beginning, it was one of the Los Angeles'
- 5:03Speaker 3: oldest hospitals, as attended some of the early residents, including
- 5:09Speaker 3: scores of railroads that were working hard to connect one
- 5:13Speaker 3: part of the country to the other. While the hospital
- 5:17Speaker 3: is no longer in operation, some have told stories of
- 5:21Speaker 3: various hauntings that take place in the grounds themselves. If
- 5:28Speaker 3: you ever get a chance to visit the city of Angels,
- 5:31Speaker 3: it might be a place worth chicken out if you
- 5:34Speaker 3: don't mind intent on a traffic. That is. The original
- 5:41Speaker 3: building that once was the Linda Vista Community Hospital opened
- 5:47Speaker 3: its stores to employees the Senepe Railroad in nineteen oh five.
- 5:55Speaker 3: It held its own had its own cows, chickens, and
- 5:59Speaker 3: even provide in its patients with the Garden of Fresh problems,
- 6:03Speaker 3: a dairy or fresh melt, butter and eggs. The original
- 6:09Speaker 3: Moorish style hospital building was designed by Charles Winsey and
- 6:16Speaker 3: was known as the Santa Pe Coastlines Boat Hospital found
- 6:21Speaker 3: such success and it started to expand and open up
- 6:25Speaker 3: its entire campus. The original building was replaced in the
- 6:30Speaker 3: late nineteen thirties and was remained the Linda Vista Community Hospital.
- 6:36Speaker 3: By the late seventies, the Railroad Hospital Association facilities began
- 6:43Speaker 3: to be used less and less as more railroad worker too.
- 6:47Speaker 3: It adopt mainstream insurance policies that the area is suffering.
- 6:54Speaker 3: The hospitals also began to lose money and the hospital
- 6:59Speaker 3: funding lesson like much of the country during at this time,
- 7:05Speaker 3: the Great Depression and World War Two derailed the hospital's
- 7:10Speaker 3: good fortune and its reputation. Seeing the decline The Santa
- 7:16Speaker 3: Fe Railroad sold the one hundred and fifty bed hospital
- 7:21Speaker 3: with Healthcare Company nineteen eighty part of the Porntry California
- 7:26Speaker 3: Health Law News report. When Lynda Vista attempted to reduce expenses,
- 7:34Speaker 3: the hospital experienced the increase in its death rates. During
- 7:38Speaker 3: its time, the hospital seemed to have any increase in
- 7:43Speaker 3: patients with gunshots, wounds, and stabuts from local neighborhoods due
- 7:48Speaker 3: to game rams in East LA. The Quality Care and
- 7:53Speaker 3: the Lenda Vista Hospital continually decline as doctors and nurses
- 8:00Speaker 3: transferred there to other hospitals, and finally in nineteen ninety one,
- 8:05Speaker 3: hospitals seized operations. Decades after its closure, building McCain a
- 8:13Speaker 3: centerpiece for ghosting investigaters as rumors started of strange activities
- 8:21Speaker 3: and squirrel. In two thousand and six, the hospital was
- 8:27Speaker 3: placed on the National Register of Historic Places. Post closure,
- 8:34Speaker 3: the hospital was also used as a site for filming
- 8:37Speaker 3: movies Intelvinion shows such as Adams Family Values, Longest Yard,
- 8:45Speaker 3: Children of the Corn, Isaac's Returned, and Fatal Beauty, just
- 8:51Speaker 3: to name a few. At that point, the hospital was
- 8:56Speaker 3: cleaned out and undergone some renovation and to ensure. The
- 9:01Speaker 3: building was up to cove and used for purpose filming
- 9:06Speaker 3: from nineteen eighty five as recent as twenty fifteen. The
- 9:12Speaker 3: old Lendavista Hotel hospital, but let's say our hotel for
- 9:19Speaker 3: its not the Lendavista Hospital was used for filming all
- 9:24Speaker 3: the way through. So many horror films said in Los Angeles,
- 9:30Speaker 3: even using the hospital as a setting for even most
- 9:34Speaker 3: scariest of scenes, and probably the ghost haunting the hallways
- 9:39Speaker 3: made it scary scenes seem so real and authentic. During
- 9:44Speaker 3: these productions, the hospitals haunting reputations started to grow. The
- 9:50Speaker 3: reports of some film crews and actors of unexplained phenomenon
- 9:57Speaker 3: darting shadows, nighttime surprise, and disembodied coumming were all experienced
- 10:04Speaker 3: by those who are working on the grounds the Lena
- 10:07Speaker 3: Bista Hospital. Many claims to have been touched pushed by
- 10:14Speaker 3: these unseen forces. Three spirits in particular are reported most
- 10:20Speaker 3: of the hospital. A lurking child in a surgical room,
- 10:25Speaker 3: a piecing young women and in the hallways of the
- 10:30Speaker 3: third floor, and the spirit of an elderly still making
- 10:35Speaker 3: its rounds even in the afterlife. Allegations of the patient's
- 10:41Speaker 3: abuse began to come to light years after the hospital
- 10:44Speaker 3: shut down. No investigations we been done on the reports
- 10:49Speaker 3: of abuse bowed by femine members because this abuse had
- 10:54Speaker 3: been caused some of the hauntings and experiences that the hope.
- 11:00Speaker 3: Many visitors have reported seeing three Pacific specters roman the hospital.
- 11:06Speaker 3: One of these spirits is the little girl the boarder
- 11:10Speaker 3: that died and on an upbringing table. Of course, she
- 11:15Speaker 3: has seen in the surgical room most this spectacle, this
- 11:22Speaker 3: spectacle orderly who have died unexpectedly while making his rounds,
- 11:29Speaker 3: has been wandering the hallways checking each room. Other spirits
- 11:35Speaker 3: is that an unknown woman who had been pacing the
- 11:38Speaker 3: third four hallways since its closure, countless ghosts experts has
- 11:44Speaker 3: spent night the night in the hospital with the rope
- 11:48Speaker 3: the hopes of catching evidence on camera. It had become
- 11:53Speaker 3: a hotbed of post of the activity due to the
- 11:57Speaker 3: untimy and tragic deaths the patients who passed away throughout
- 12:03Speaker 3: the years. The land that the hospital was was on
- 12:09Speaker 3: has since been renovated into a senior living facility. Since
- 12:14Speaker 3: it's no longer abandoned and able to accept visitors, it
- 12:19Speaker 3: might not be the best idea to one round the
- 12:22Speaker 3: area looking for ghosts. Lenda Vista Hospital may still be
- 12:27Speaker 3: the subject of controversy among them lifelong residents East Los
- 12:32Speaker 3: Angeles and may be spoken entirely by ghosts of it
- 12:36Speaker 3: investigators and urban explorers, and definitely a place has still
- 12:43Speaker 3: a few ghosts hanging around. Los Angeles is truly a
- 12:48Speaker 3: stork city through one of the most stored parts a
- 12:54Speaker 3: history of death, violence, and suffering ghosts the city like
- 13:01Speaker 3: a lara, small suffocating energies that eliminate into the city's
- 13:08Speaker 3: buildings and in the lands surrounding it. Have ever been
- 13:13Speaker 3: ventured into the Landavista Hotel, a hospital, or the grounds
- 13:18Speaker 3: that remain. Perhaps the residents of the senior care facility
- 13:24Speaker 3: may have some stories of their own stream they now
- 13:28Speaker 3: live on the property. There's there's a few other ones.
- 13:36Speaker 3: And you know, I end up checking up on what
- 13:40Speaker 3: other films that the Landavista Hotel was used for. Here's

- 14:59Speaker 3: season five, Our season one five, Dream Sorcerer. That was
- 15:04Speaker 3: a pretty good episode there. I was wondering with that.

- 16:47Speaker 3: see any more hospitals that I know there's a few.
