Latest / The Epstein Chronicles / Ron DeSantis And His Epstein Comments While On The Hannity Show
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein chronicles.
- 0:04Speaker 1: Ron DeSantis was on the Sean Hannity Show on Friday
- 0:08Speaker 1: talking about Jeffrey Epstein and why he decided to release
- 0:12Speaker 1: this information. And I have to tell you, it's about
- 0:15Speaker 1: time somebody who has some notoriety is stepping up and
- 0:19Speaker 1: doing something when it comes to transparency, because for all
- 0:22Speaker 1: these years, we know that nobody has given a shit,
- 0:25Speaker 1: and now finally somebody has gotten off their ass, somebody
- 0:28Speaker 1: in a position of power, and is making a move
- 0:31Speaker 1: to show the public what really went on here. And
- 0:34Speaker 1: some of his commentary from his interview was spot on,
- 0:39Speaker 1: especially when it relates to Glainne Maxwell and her being
- 0:42Speaker 1: the only one being held responsible here. There are so
- 0:46Speaker 1: many people, as we've well established at this point, that
- 0:50Speaker 1: should be held responsible that are escaping justice. And hopefully
- 0:55Speaker 1: with these new court documents being released and now these
- 0:58Speaker 1: grand jury documents that are going to be released hopefully soon,
- 1:02Speaker 1: maybe that'll spur some sort of investigation to be reinvigorated,
- 1:08Speaker 1: because there are a lot of people who really should
- 1:10Speaker 1: have been held accountable here and the fact that they've
- 1:14Speaker 1: been able to get off is a slap in the
- 1:17Speaker 1: face not only to you and I, but most importantly
- 1:20Speaker 1: and especially to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and Glene Maxwell.
- 1:26Speaker 1: So let's dive into this article from The Daily Caller
- 1:29Speaker 1: and let's see what Ron DeSantis had to say. Headline,
- 1:34Speaker 1: DeSantis details legislation behind releasing Epstein docs, says Glainne Maxwell
- 1:39Speaker 1: can't be the only one responsible one thousand percent. Now,
- 1:43Speaker 1: don't get that twisted. That doesn't mean I think Glainne
- 1:46Speaker 1: Maxwell was You know what, Patsy was a scapegoat. We
- 1:50Speaker 1: know she wasn't. She had her responsibility. She took part
- 1:55Speaker 1: in the abuse. She groomed these girls, she brought them in,
- 1:58Speaker 1: and she acted as the underball. So she's exactly where
- 2:01Speaker 1: she belongs. My grievance is that nobody else is sharing
- 2:06Speaker 1: her jail cell. This article was authored by Hailey Gomez.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis detailed new legislation releasing Jeffrey
- 2:15Speaker 1: Epstein's grand jury documents on Friday, claiming Epstein's business partner,
- 2:19Speaker 1: Glenn Maxwell, couldn't be the only one responsible business partner.
- 2:24Speaker 1: You mean co conspirator, right, You mean fellow child abuser,
- 2:28Speaker 1: fellow scumbag, bipedal serpent, that's what you mean. DeSantis appeared
- 2:33Speaker 1: on Hannity to discuss the signing of a bill which
- 2:36Speaker 1: will allow the release of documents from a two thousand
- 2:38Speaker 1: and six grand jury investigation into Epstein. Fox host Sean
- 2:43Speaker 1: Hannity applauded the Florida governor for his decision and noted
- 2:47Speaker 1: the secrecy behind Epstein's plea deal with the federal government. Now,
- 2:51Speaker 1: I'm not somebody who watches cable news, and I'm certainly
- 2:54Speaker 1: not somebody who watches Sean Hannity, but whenever you have
- 2:57Speaker 1: an interview like this, I'll tune in to get the
- 3:00Speaker 1: clip right so that we know what we're talking about here.
- 3:04Speaker 1: And it was a very interesting segment. And you could
- 3:07Speaker 1: say whatever you want about Sean Hannity, but at least
- 3:11Speaker 1: he's talking about this topic. Has MSNBC ever once talked
- 3:15Speaker 1: about Jeffrey Epstein ever once. I'm being serious when I
- 3:20Speaker 1: asked that question, unless, of course they're calling it a
- 3:22Speaker 1: conspiracy theory. There is no accountability when you're one of
- 3:26Speaker 1: the faiths. Meanwhile, you have DeSantis over here being based
- 3:31Speaker 1: as hell and saying, you know what, we're releasing these documents,
- 3:34Speaker 1: and we're going to put a whole ass new law
- 3:36Speaker 1: on the books to do it. And now, my friends,
- 3:39Speaker 1: is put in action behind words, and there has not
- 3:41Speaker 1: been enough of that throughout this whole entire ordeal. DeSantis
- 3:45Speaker 1: stated that while there were various people who attended to
- 3:48Speaker 1: get the documents released, they were not able to be
- 3:51Speaker 1: released due to grand jury secrecy laws. The Florida governor
- 3:54Speaker 1: continued to note that with the coming release of the documents,
- 3:57Speaker 1: victims of Epstein will be able to get the they
- 4:00Speaker 1: never got. And boy, I hope that's the truth. I
- 4:04Speaker 1: hope that if these grand jury documents come out and
- 4:07Speaker 1: they contain what we all think they contained, then I
- 4:11Speaker 1: hope that there's retribution for the people who were in
- 4:15Speaker 1: charge of this whole investigation. Are these people drawing some
- 4:18Speaker 1: kind of retirement that they earned while they were in
- 4:21Speaker 1: this office, Maybe they should be censored and that retirement
- 4:24Speaker 1: should be taken away. You can't let something like this
- 4:27Speaker 1: go on on your watch and not only let it
- 4:30Speaker 1: go on, but basically participate in it. We know that
- 4:34Speaker 1: krisher destroyed his own witness. We know that the state's
- 4:36Speaker 1: prosecutor office down in Florida didn't do the right thing.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Never mind the federal prosecutors. We all know they had
- 4:42Speaker 1: their thumbs up their ass. But now that these grand
- 4:47Speaker 1: jury documents are going to be available, it goes from
- 4:49Speaker 1: the realm of speculation to the realm of fact. And
- 4:53Speaker 1: like I always say, it's not what we know, it's
- 4:55Speaker 1: what we can prove. So that's why the core documents
- 4:58Speaker 1: are so important. Unbelievable what happened, and you know this
- 5:02Speaker 1: was involved in federal jurisdiction at the time, and the
- 5:05Speaker 1: Feds they worked to engineer this plea deal with the
- 5:08Speaker 1: prosecutor in Palm Beach County and this happened fifteen or
- 5:11Speaker 1: twenty years ago. When I became governor, we launched a
- 5:14Speaker 1: criminal investigation into exactly what happened. How did he get
- 5:17Speaker 1: this sweetheart deal. But what we ran into was grand
- 5:20Speaker 1: jury secrecy laws, and that is true in Florida. If
- 5:24Speaker 1: you testify in front of a grand jury in secret,
- 5:26Speaker 1: it's gotta be kept secret. And then people tried to
- 5:29Speaker 1: petition to get it released under some of the exceptions,
- 5:32Speaker 1: and all those court cases failed. So the Florida legislature
- 5:36Speaker 1: passed legislation now which authorizes the release of all of
- 5:40Speaker 1: those grand jury files, and so I signed it into
- 5:43Speaker 1: law this week. That law will become effective on July first.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Finally the public is going to be able to get answers.
- 5:49Speaker 1: DeSantis stated. Yo. DeSantis might not be the hero everybody wanted,
- 5:55Speaker 1: but maybe he's the hero that we needed, because somebody's
- 5:58Speaker 1: finally standing up in saying enough is enough. And I
- 6:01Speaker 1: don't care who does it. I've said it from the
- 6:04Speaker 1: very beginning. Anybody who shows up here to take down
- 6:07Speaker 1: Epstein and his buddies, I consider them an ally, at
- 6:10Speaker 1: least for this project. And there's a stark difference here, right.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Take a look at Stacy Plaskett, who took all that
- 6:17Speaker 1: money from Jeffrey Epstein, then tried to deny it, tried
- 6:20Speaker 1: to ignore the whole situation, and then compare that to
- 6:23Speaker 1: what Ron DeSantis did here. So it's not like Stacy
- 6:27Speaker 1: Plaskett couldn't have made waves down in the USVII and
- 6:30Speaker 1: demanded a sprawling, robust investigation into Epstein. She could have.
- 6:35Speaker 1: She didn't want to. She had no desire to do so,
- 6:38Speaker 1: and that's because she didn't want her faves caught up,
- 6:40Speaker 1: just like Nancy Pelosi's daughter said right, because let's be
- 6:44Speaker 1: very clear, her and her colleagues took a ton of
- 6:47Speaker 1: money from Jeffrey Epstein over the years. But we had
- 6:51Speaker 1: a few of the there are now women, they're in
- 6:53Speaker 1: their thirties, but they were teenagers, a lot of them.
- 6:56Speaker 1: I think they were fourteen at the time. And his
- 6:59Speaker 1: has been some thing that has stayed with them for
- 7:01Speaker 1: decades and they never got any justice. That is a
- 7:05Speaker 1: big time fact. Decades and decades and decades, and people
- 7:09Speaker 1: are never going to get over stuff like this. This
- 7:11Speaker 1: isn't something you wake up one day and you're like, oh,
- 7:13Speaker 1: you know what, I feel refreshed, everything's all great. No,
- 7:18Speaker 1: there's always going to be that repressed feeling right deep down,
- 7:21Speaker 1: even if you get therapy, whatever the trauma is there.
- 7:25Speaker 1: You went through this. So it's about time that everybody
- 7:29Speaker 1: who was involved, from the enablers on down, it's about
- 7:32Speaker 1: time that they feel the pain too. And so now
- 7:35Speaker 1: we're going to get more facts. And how is it
- 7:38Speaker 1: sean when you have so many people involved. You have
- 7:41Speaker 1: one person now, Glenn Maxwell, who's in federal prison. Nobody
- 7:44Speaker 1: else has been held accountable since Epstein's death, And I
- 7:47Speaker 1: think everybody knows that is not right, and there's no
- 7:50Speaker 1: way that nobody else was involved in this criminal activity. Well, yeah,
- 7:54Speaker 1: let's get a Rico case going. It's amazing to me too.
- 7:58Speaker 1: You don't hear very many people ye selling Fariico when
- 8:00Speaker 1: it comes to Epstein and I wonder why if you
- 8:04Speaker 1: really want justice, that is a surefire path to get there.
- 8:07Speaker 1: The second they hit you with Rico predicates your life
- 8:10Speaker 1: for all intents and purposes, becomes an open book. There
- 8:14Speaker 1: is nothing that they can't get. There's no warrant that
- 8:17Speaker 1: a judge won't sign. And yet the government shied away
- 8:20Speaker 1: from using the most powerful tool in their toolbox when
- 8:24Speaker 1: it comes to Jeffrey Epstein and Galaine Maxwell. I wonder
- 8:28Speaker 1: why they would do that. Who they trying to protect?
- 8:32Speaker 1: The bill, introduced by Democratic Boco Ratan Senator Tino Polsky,
- 8:37Speaker 1: passed in the Senate with a unanimous vote of thirty
- 8:39Speaker 1: seven to zero on February twenty first. DeSantis indicated his
- 8:44Speaker 1: support of the legislation, stated online that all files related
- 8:48Speaker 1: to Jeffrey Epstein's criminal activity should be made public, and
- 8:51Speaker 1: I think everybody else should follow suit. The FBI should
- 8:55Speaker 1: turn over everything they have if they don't have an
- 8:57Speaker 1: active investigation going, they need to turn everything over. And
- 9:01Speaker 1: if they do have an active investigation going, then Congress
- 9:05Speaker 1: or the Senate should call for a committee so they
- 9:08Speaker 1: can get an update on what that progress is. But
- 9:12Speaker 1: instead we have people arguing over dumb shit on a
- 9:14Speaker 1: regular basis. Following a two thousand and six criminal investigation
- 9:19Speaker 1: by Florida federal prosecutors that accused Epstein is sexually abusing
- 9:23Speaker 1: dozens of underage girls, he received a sentence of one year.
- 9:27Speaker 1: During the investigation, only one of Epstein's accusers was brought
- 9:31Speaker 1: forward to testify in front of the grand jury, drawing
- 9:34Speaker 1: concerns about the fairness of the case. We're talking about
- 9:37Speaker 1: dozens of accusers and they choose one girl and bring
- 9:41Speaker 1: her up in front of the grand jury and then
- 9:42Speaker 1: absolutely destroyer. And I'm not talking about just Epstein's attorneys.
- 9:48Speaker 1: I'm talking about the prosecutors themselves. They're the ones that
- 9:53Speaker 1: destroyed this girl's credibility. They're the ones that went after
- 9:57Speaker 1: because she had some MySpace posts talking about how she
- 10:00Speaker 1: likes boys, or she might have had a cigarette, or
- 10:02Speaker 1: she drank a beer, so all of a sudden, that
- 10:05Speaker 1: means she can't be assaulted by egg dick. What sort
- 10:08Speaker 1: of absurd nonsense is that. I'll tell you the kind,
- 10:11Speaker 1: the kind of absurd nonsense that only the so called
- 10:13Speaker 1: elite can get into the rest of us. Well, we
- 10:16Speaker 1: have to pay the piper. Epstein was arrested and charged
- 10:20Speaker 1: in twenty nineteen with sex trafficking. He was found dead
- 10:23Speaker 1: in his New York Metropolitan Correctional Center cell a month
- 10:27Speaker 1: after his arrest. Since Epstein's death, Glenn Maxwell, his longtime partner,
- 10:31Speaker 1: was the only one charged and sentenced in connection to
- 10:34Speaker 1: Epstein's sex trafficking ring. Maxwell's arrest in twenty twenty one,
- 10:39Speaker 1: and she was sentenced to twenty years in prison for
- 10:41Speaker 1: her involvement in Epstein's crimes in June of twenty twenty two.
- 10:45Speaker 1: While redactions and other restrictions remain in effect, the release
- 10:49Speaker 1: of the grand jury documents are a major move towards
- 10:52Speaker 1: transparency one bazillion percent, And anybody out there that has
- 10:58Speaker 1: shit to say about DeSantis, I don't care day it.
- 11:00Speaker 1: This dude's stepping up to the plate while everybody else
- 11:03Speaker 1: is sitting on their hands so all the big talkers
- 11:05Speaker 1: can keep talking. I'm more interested in the people who
- 11:09Speaker 1: do the walking. All right, folks, that's gonna do it
- 11:12Speaker 1: for this one. All of the information that goes with
